3 pumps in 5 years - We purchased our Fisher & Paykel washer in 2008 at Beesons, Lafayette, IN. They also did the warranty work for us. They replaced the pump while under warranty. A few years ago, my husband replaced the pump himself. Now, my pump is out again; the part is $130. We have decided to not put any more money into this appliance. I was separating the grounds and neutrals on my service panel when I got shocked by one of the ground wires. I traced the ground to the incoming cable and found the breaker that fed it. I turned the breaker off and looked for the outlet that has dead. It turned out to be the washer outlet. I then made a two wire cable to test the ground. I have pictures of the test procedure. I have owned three Fisher Paykel washers over the past 10 years and have them still. I then tested all three and found all to have this VAC on the ground. Thank you EPA for requiring water limits on manufactures of washing machines. As a result, I am forced to use the "deep water" and "extra rinse" functions to get clothes half way clean. So much for saving water! This Whirlpool Cabrio machine cost way too much for such lousy results. Additionally, I have to purchase a special product and "clean" my machine every month or two. Ridiculous!! I yearn for the old days when I could wash my clothes and they would actually come out clean.Suzanne of New Braunfels, TX

Simple to use and very convenient. I have a big family and my washer is like my nanny and best friend. I love it! Don't know exactly what I'd do without it. My husband likes it too. I have never had a problem with my washer. My clothes are always clean. It's not noisy. It doesn't run my water bill up too high. It's spacious. My washer is white. It is square. It is pretty. It is clean. It looks wonderful in my house. It's stylish. I'm so happy I bought it!! The value is outrageous. It's worth more than I paid for it in my personal opinion. I would have paid more. After 7 attempts to fix my 6-year-old Whirlpool Front Load Washer (original price $991.00) I had to trash it. Then I stupidly bought another Whirlpool Front Loader (WFW75HEFW) Feb 2017. It has not worked properly since day 1. The clothes come out dripping wet. At first I thought I was doing something wrong. I tried every cycle, limited amount of clothing and ran additional spin cycles to no avail. Finally I gave up and called for service.Whirlpool is very much aware that a number of their machines came off the line with defective spin bearings but they won't admit to it. Instead I am expected to have it repaired! It involves the entire inside of the machine being rebuilt. It's a 2 man job that will take 3-4 hours.This is totally unacceptable and it is obvious Whirlpool does not make a quality product nor do they value customer satisfaction. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES PURCHASE A WHIRLPOOL WASHER. They are difficult to work with and I for one will never purchase or recommend any of their products. I purchased this washer from Home Depot and now my only hope is that they will honor my intention of purchasing a non-defective product. If not, I guess I'm in for another miserable experience with a Whirlpool product.Bobbie of Hillsborough, NJ

We acquired the Cabrio Six Sense washing machine through the purchase of our new home, and quickly realized why it was left behind. This thing is pretty and has lots of bells and whistles, but that is where it ends. I am very surprised to find out that Whirlpool put such a piece of junk out for purchase. I have owned Whirlpool products in the past and had great performance and quality. After reading all reviews online on the lid of the Whirlpool Cabrio Washer, it upsets me that there has not been a recall on this. Our lid has snapped & has to be held down until the lock light comes on. Often times during the cycle it must sense the lid is broken & thinks it is not locked & sets the load off line. I have to pause the load & then reset the load & hold the lid down tight until it restarts.Dawn of Port Byron, IL
