We have been very pleased with our dryer. Overall, its a very nice dryer. We had to call for service due to not starting but, it was a minor manufacturing issue and fixed within minutes. We are still very happy with the dryer.

My son was sleeping when 9:30 AM he awoke to find flames coming from the melted rubber at the top of the freezer door. The flames were igniting baseball cards, etc on top of the refrigerator and reached the ceiling too! He opened the freezer door and flames shot out of the freezer! He closed the freezer door and immediately called the Fire Dept. He then threw water on top of the refrigerator until the fire persons arrived. They came in under 5 minutes time. They told me if no one was home, the whole house would have went up in flames...The ceiling is ripped open to make sure the fire didnt spread to main floor, the walls, cabinets were burnt, cloths and the flooring has water and smoke damage... The whole house wreaks of the smell of smoke. And as the NYFD said we were lucky... BEWARE..... I decided to go online.. This is not the first case of a fire starting in a freezer and it wont be the last!!

The Electrolux double ovens were very expensive and have been nothing but problems... erratic temperatures and locked racks first. I have had over 6 service calls in less than 18 months of ownership. Now the floor of the oven is chipping off in a circle with what looks like glass shards. I am afraid to use this over for fear of getting shards in our food. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

We would like to express our disappointment with the Electrolux refrigerator model: EW28BS71IS. We purchased this refrigerator in March of 2010 to replace a 7-year old Kenmore side by side refrigerator. We chose this model by brand name knowing that Electrolux is the leader in the industry in quality and service on appliances. Its unfortunate for us to tell you how far youve missed the mark with the model we purchased. Weve had the model serviced three times since weve bought it. The ice maker board has been replaced twice. My wife and I both missed four days of work due to the service calls so the repair person could come to service the fridge, one day for them to figure out what was wrong and another day for them to install it. Our last experience was the most painful. The main board went out and we had to live out of coolers and a dorm size refrigerator for over two weeks. It took three visits by the service repair man before the refrigerator was working again. They ordered the main board from their parts list which took four days. They came to install it and the board in the fridge is different than the one in the repair manual they had. This required them to order another board which took another four days. If we didnt have large Kenmore upright freezers, we wouldve lost all our frozen food.Whats amazing to this story is we arent the only ones dealing with these issues. We happen to be out at a party with some friends telling them our refrigerator saga and that my wife has put her foot down that if there is one more issue, the fridge is gone. They asked the model and when we bought it because they were having similar issues. Sure enough, they bought the same model around the same time. Ive included their story below. I cant believe we are the only two people having these problems and we want to know what you can do to resolve our ongoing issues.

We bought dishwasher and in first 30 days we had Error Code 11 pop up and dishwasher wouldnt start. We bought from Nebraska Furniture Mart and they sent a gentleman out to look at it. He stated it wasnt draining properly and the hose needed to be higher. Less than a year later, just after warranty ran out, it did it again. Electrolux then stated we had to pay for repairs. We had tech come out and charge us for call and stated it could be two parts, the control board or drain valve. We replaced both and it still didnt work. After spending over $1000.00 on this dishwasher and several hundreds of dollars later, we are trashing it and buying a different brand. NEVER buy this product. They dont stand behind them and paying that much for a dishwasher that only lasted 1 year is ridiculous!

We purchased an Electrolux French Door refrigerator, Dual In-Wall Oven, Overhead Microwave, and Dishwasher. The first to fail was the refrigerator, which could not make ice. Then the dual in-wall oven board failed, then the Microwave display, and finally the dishwasher which wouldnt clean dishes properly or dry them. The refrigerator ice maker failed twice more, the microwave a second time (we replaced it with GE), and the dishwasher wont clean and dry today despite using the highest clean and heated dry settings. Some of these were fixed under warranty, others under an extended warranty.I will never buy another Electrolux or Frigidaire product, and every friend, relative, neighbor, and coworker has heard my story. If Im in the appliance department of a store that carries Electrolux or Frigidaire, I watch for anyone seeming interested in the brand and warn them, urging them to look at reviews and complaints online. I will continue to do this anytime and anywhere I find anyone considering new appliances. Ive had good luck all my life with products and am typically a fairly positive person, but this was the most egregious experience. I guess Ive become a reverse evangelist for the brand.

Shortly after moving, we decided to upgrade to an Electrolux French Door refrigerator and their newest and best dishwasher. The retailer that I had purchased it from closed their doors a week later after 50+ years in business and left us with only the manufacturers warranty since they never paid the company for the extended protection. After several attempts to get the refrigerator repaired, within the original manufacturer warranty, from the time it was delivered in October of 2014 with the dishwasher, until December we had over 5 service calls, 30+ phone calls and emails, and over 2 hours of video documenting the problems they refused to replace it, insisting they have the right to exhaust all efforts to fix it, at my inconvenience and expense apparently. I even offered to pay any difference in model to try to expedite a return if that was a holdup. I gave them one more opportunity to pick it up, I had already purchased another refrigerator. I suggested that since they keep insisting it still could be repairable although no one can come up with any solutions, that they pick it up, fix it, and donate it to a shelter of their choosing. We dont do that is all I heard. I refused to go into another holiday with this incessant noise issue. I scrapped the fridge (yes actually) and replaced it with a Samsung that has required no service. Now the dishwasher, that has already had 2 service calls in just under 16 months is not functioning again and again I am without the appliance I paid over $800 for and am waiting on a repair and will see just how long parts will take this time. We did not opt to extend the warranty since it only continues to feed the beast that really could care less about its end users. If this becomes an issue, I know that I will be replacing it within the month. The moral of the story is, if you do not have the time to have non functioning appliances or the money to replace them when you have no alternative since the Electrolux Company really doesnt care if they lose customers, DO not buy this brand. I cannot stress enough how much I regret these purchases and the amount of energy expended. As I tried to get them to understand, these are appliances, I should not have to think about them or expend energy on them, they should just work until they dont and then they get replaced. If we are happy with the performance we are more likely to keep in the same brand. I repeat, Electrolux - they just do not care!

Electrolux Refrigerator Model EI26SS55GB0 - I purchased this refrigerator in September 2009. The refrigerator showed problems after I purchased the unit. The main first problem observed was the freezer and refrigerator temperatures were wondering. The digital display also had elements that burned out. The unit was out of the manufacturers warranty when this occurred. I had Sears come over to diagnose the unit and they said it was the interface board. This was in 2012 so based on other posts about their refrigerators I guess comparatively speaking I was doing pretty good. Anyway one month after the new interface board was installed the system started to wander in temperature again and would not stabilize. The Sears technician again came over and replaced the same board at additional expense. The display elements are still not working properly. The segments look like they are getting ready to burn out. We turn off the display to save this part. Now about a month ago the ice dispenser quit working. The issue appears to be the main board which is very expensive to replace. I called Electrolux and they offered me 10% off of the part; Really!!! The board is over $300. I have a friend who owns an appliance store. He told me that he has dropped the Electrolux line. I asked him why. He said when he sold their products he had a ton of circuit board problems. In fact he has a customer that has a similar problem that I had; the temperature wondering. He told me that his customer had a technician out 3-times to change out the board(s). Finally the third time appears to have fixed it however the previous times it went down - the food rotted in the unit and now has a smell that she cant get rid of. My friend is going to swap out the unit with another brand b/c he feels so bad.Anyway bottom line - refrigerators should last much longer than this. I was told Electrolux was a top notch product; NOT!!! Please stay far, far away from this brand. Youll do yourself a favor and avoid MUCH grief!!!

We bought Electrolux products in 2008 -- Electrolux Icon dishwasher, oven and stove. In the first year, we had to have the oven fixed twice and the dishwasher fixed as well. The stove never did work right, but the gas company said that they did not know what was wrong with it. 2 burners blow up at you with a poof of fire when turning it on. The store we bought the appliances from were no help. Now 7 years later and our dishwasher rack has rusted out. Of course, Electrolux service is terrible. They dont have any replacement parts for the rack. Now we will have to buy a new dishwasher because our plates dont stay standing. I will NEVER buy Electrolux again. Terrible products, terrible service.

My Electrolux EIMED60JIWO front load dryer will not start. Serial # 4D10402611. Purchased May 28, 2011 Hampton, VA. Registered with Electrolux. If I turn the dial to different settings it beeps at each setting, light flashes on and off with the beep. If I try to start, turn the dial, cancel or push any other buttons, it beeps. This has happened 4 times since I purchased the dryer in May 28 of 2011. I believe the last technician said the dryer had to be reset. It will not reset. I tried unplugging, resetting the circuit breaker, factory resetting the dryer by pushing the temperature button and the dryness button simultaneously for 6 seconds. NOTHING. STILL NOT WORKING!!! Of course it is only 4 years old, but out of warranty. They advised that I purchase a 2 year extended warranty for $267.74, and then I have to wait 9 days for the earliest service call. The dryer cost $1100!!! They didnt fix the problem when it was under the original warranty. I am NOT happy with Electrolux. WARNING!!! DO NOT BUY ELECTROLUX!! They offer a poor product, poor service, and fail to honor the warranty. I expected more out of my Electrolux. Please advise.

Fourteen months into a $2,000 Electrolux induction stovetop purchase, the thing died. To add salt to the wound, were 3 weeks into the thing dying and no fix in sight. Upon calling their service department, I was responsible with making service arrangements through their local service provider. I gave Electrolux the error code so they knew the faulty part, but still waited 1 week for them to tell me what I already told them. Now, it’s 1 week to order the part and 1 week to reschedule for the local service provider to install the part. The Electrolux stovetop is crap and their customer service is worse than the product. Update on 01/14/2019: Because we were provided with an additional year parts and labor by Electrolux, a service person came in today, January 14, and replaced the door seal. Within one hour the new door seal was leaking again. Being extremely frustrated with Electrolux and the continued issue with their washer I phoned their customer service, again, and asked to speak to a supervisor/manager. I was informed they have no program to allow for each to return their defective washer, I will have to talk to the dealer (Recker & Boerger). I informed the supervisor I did not accept her response and wanted to talk to her manager. I was informed the manager would contact me in 1-2 days. I’m furious about their defective product and the manager won’t talk to me... I have to wait. Great customer service. Out of sheer frustration I called Recker & Boerger, talk to a store manager who told me they “chose” not to take back products that have been in a home over 30 days... My advice... Stay away from any Electrolux products and Recker & Boerger in the Cincinnati area. Both have no concept of how to provide customer service. Amazing.Original: In July, 2017 my wife and I allowed a salesperson to talk us into a front loading Electrolux washer, we had always had top loaders. Also bought matching dryer and the risers for each. Nothing but trouble with both, numerous service calls on washer and dryer. The washer is loud, sometimes much awful noises, doesn’t fill immediately while making those noises, but the most recent “joy in owning an Electrolux” is the door is leaking. The door seal was replaced approximately 6-8 months ago and we just started noticing streams of water running down the front of the washer. And, because we have it on a riser, water runs into the drawer on the riser. I’ll be calling Electrolux on Monday, we’ll have another service call, might get repaired properly, and wait for the next surprise. If you live in the Cincinnati area, stay away from Recker & Boerger. Once they make a delivery...you’re on your own, talk to Electrolux. So much for customer satisfaction. Best advice I can give is stay away from Electrolux!

I purchased a $2700.00 Electrolux French Door refrigerator. The computer board broke weeks after the warranty expired. It cost almost $550.00 to repair. Next the icemaker and water dispenser stopped working about a year ago. Electrolux knew of the problem and made a kit to address the poor quality and design. After almost 6 months without ice, they finally provided the kit and paid for the repairs. Two weeks later the same problem. Electrolux poor design causes the water reservoir to freeze. The customer service representative offered to sell me another repair kit at a 20% discount. She stated that my warranty expired so they no longer have an obligation to stand by their product. I will never purchase another Frigidaire or Electrolux product again. Buyer beware. Customer service is a joke.

We purchased a new home from a builder and moved in January of 2015. The home had new stainless steel Electrolux kitchen appliances, including the 30 built-in microwave (EW30SO60QSA). The appliances came with a 1 year manufacturers warranty. Later that year we noticed the handle on the door was becoming unstable & loose. I called the 800 warranty number & a local repair technician came to repair the handle. After an hour or more of trying to find a way to access the handle screws he gave up and just ordered a new door. In a few days the new door was delivered & he installed it. I dont have exact dates because it was done under warranty & I didnt get a bill. Now the 2nd door has the same problem & cant be repaired. I paid a technician who tried to repair the handle & he couldnt. He said the only option is to pay $460 plus shipping & installation for a new door. I called the Electrolux customer service number to see if they could make some sort of allowance for the what seems to a product design defect. I was told by a supervisor that they dont acknowledge the problem & I should have bought the extended warranty for the microwave. So,I dont recommend Electrolux or their appliances.

Awful experience with model #EFME517SIW 8.0 cu. (Electrolux Dryer 2016) .The front door rattles at very high decibels as does the flimsy rear panel. We cant stand the noise and disruption within our home. Called Electrolux and they claimed that after one year, there is no warranty coverage for this issue. Unfortunately, we purchased the washer/dryer set while the home was under renovations and were unable to use the appliances for several months. By the time we used the appliances, the horrible rattling started, but warranty ended. My former GE clothes dryer worked perfectly and quietly for 10 years, never requiring service. Ill never purchase from Electrolux again and will tell post as many reviews as possible about their poorly made and overpriced clothes dryer.

I have had so many service calls (10+) due to the inferior quality of my Electrolux French Door Bottom Freezer ice-maker, I cant even count them. Thank goodness, I purchased the extended warranty, BUT the inconvenience of having to call for repair, doing without, and waiting for repair to come fix is extremely frustrating. I will be happy when this piece of junk is out of warranty as I will gladly to forced to purchase a new one........ NEVER an ELECTROLUX product!UPDATED ON 04/17/2015: I am on my 2nd Electrolux refrigerator. This 2nd one is only because it was a replacement for the 1st one due to its poor performance with the ice maker. Now, there is trouble with the ice maker on this one. I am awaiting for the part that is supposedly a fix. The part was ordered on 3/30 and is supposed to arrive at my home. Then, I am to call for the repairman to come install it. Going on 18 days and then call and wait for the repairman to schedule... REALLY? With all the trouble I have had along with many, many other people who have had this refrigerator, I would NEVER choose another Electrolux refrigerator. They should have stuck with making vacuum cleaners!!

I bought an expensive Electrolux refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher in 2012. So far I have required repairs on the dishwasher (control panel went dead); stove (would not self clean) and the refrigerator has broken plastic that holds up the bins; very hard to remove drawers and put back in for cleaning. The bin handles you pull out are broken on at least 3 drawers. I bought these online thinking if I paid a very high price I would get quality - WRONG. I believe the cheap builders appliances would have been better than the Electrolux fix and repair too often.

After furnishing my home in Canada with all Electrolux products, I felt they were good quality and decided to do the same with my new home in the US. Bad choice!! The $4000 refrigerators ice maker went out almost immediately. The serviceman said this was a big problem with Electrolux. He repaired it, but its gone out several times since then. He said Electrolux has a kit they send out to fix the problem, but they didnt offer it to me. The refrigerator went out completely last month, and I lost $500 worth of food. I had to pay for the service call myself, as Electrolux says their warranty is only good for one year. Never mind that I have a long list of calls with complaints. Ice maker is not working again, and now the control panel is going out. This is the biggest piece of junk I have ever owned and I am very disappointed in Electrolux customer service department. Its just too bad and thats about it, other than I can spend more money on the piece of garbage and maybe then they will extend their warranty??????? The dishwasher was top of the line at the time I bought it too, and its just ok. I have to hand wash everything before putting it in or it wont come out clean. Nothing special about it. Why wasnt I offered the repair kit for a known problem while it was under warranty and I had the problems the kit was for? My service repair rep said they give it to some and not others. Purchased an Electrolux dishwasher in June of 2014. Have never really been happy with the response of the digital controls, but since we paid almost $1000 figured I would have to grin and bear it. Had to have a service last year because of error code .30. Tech explained that this very seldom happens, but he fixed it and went on his way. Everything was okay until about three weeks ago when the same code came up and you could hear something like water running in the machine. Called repair and they evaluated and advised that repair would be almost $500. At this point I have almost paid 2/3 of the cost of the machine again! Contacted Electrolux and gave them all the info; the repair service furnished to them what would be necessary to repair and the cost of repair.Electrolux is investigating and will get back to me. In the meantime, I have 17 people coming for Thanksgiving with no dishwasher. The service tech indicated this is just representative of any appliance you purchase now. Where did pride in a quality product go? If for no other reason, we need to get manufacturing back in our country in hopes of a different quality outcome. Bottom line: Can you intervene with the manufacturer, which in this case is Electrolux, to help consumers like me?

Im writing this with 5 years of experience watching my appliances fail. It started with the warping of the pan in the built-in range and then the failure of the control assembly for that unit. Beside the fact that the racks are very difficult to slide in and out and dont fit well, I just figured this is just a case of a bad unit. Electrolux paid to have it fixed so I was ok at that point. Then the ice maker in the refrigerator quit working properly. It was intermittent, slow, and finally quit. Electrolux paid for this repair also... like three times. It worked for a while and started the same problem about a year later. I called back in and they said theyd replace the refrigerator... and they did. Later I received a mailing about what I think was a class action suit on this issue so I understand why they were so agreeable to replacement of the refrigerator.Next up is the dishwasher. Actually I dont believe it ever really worked that well because the touch pad was stubborn from the beginning. So now the touch pad isnt functional except for the start button and the normal button so no other features are available. Ive been told that the buttons are probably sticking and it needs a new part. Of course were now in our 5th year so the warranty is gone, and since Im going to replace the part, it will be on me if the part doesnt work when it gets here. The only other problem we had with the dishwasher was that something happened with the seal as far as I can tell, and it leaked water, ruining our hardwood floor under the dishwasher, in front of it, and some on the other side of the island. A hardwood guy tells me well have to do the whole room to fix the problem effectively. Its easy to see but were living with it.Just a couple days ago the microwave went out. No microwave and no convection. Check out the reviews folks, this unit is highly unreliable. I did find that Wolf makes one that will fit perfect for a similar price, actually a little less, and I suspect it will outperform this ICON by a landslide. We bought all these appliances for a new home we built. They looked nice at the time and of course we were sold on them. That company isnt in business anymore either. What a mess. I hope this review serves the public well but there are a boatload of reviews on Electrolux and it looks like an average of one star. Please pay attention and save yourself some headaches... buy something else.

Bought a new Electrolux French Door fridge. The ice maker did not work. They sent their authorized service technician to my home. Fast forward to 2nd service call and the ice maker still does not work properly. I asked Electrolux to replace it or give me a refund. They would not. Third visit from Service Tech., still not working. I told Electrolux I could not afford to keep taking time off work but they do not care. Fourth Service Call, repairman said door is defective. He managed to shim the new component & not tighten screw all the way & now the Ice Maker is working but, for how long??? Electrolux refuses to do anything. They are the worst and that is why I call them DEFECTOLUX!

Continuing the drama from April 2015. After talking to a channel of people with this company, writing several letters and sending endless photos to the higher ups in this company, I will end my fight with them. I have to continue monthly blow-drying the interior door of the freezer to on freeze the water line and the back of my refrigerator continues to rust because of water leakage in the back inner panels of the body in this unit. I believe that it was defective from day 1 but the drawers are the most flimsy I have ever seen and are completely broken. Stick with GE and Whirlpool. Signing off.

I purchased Electrolux dishwasher and refrigerator in 2010. We have had nothing but problems. We took out a warranty plan (THANK GOD). Our refrigerator did not make ice, and after 4 visits was replaced in 2013. The new refrigerator makes ice but all in the wrong places. We have had repair come out 4 times now to fix it (it should have been replaced, but due to the 1 year warranty with Electrolux, warranty company is stating that this is only the 3rd visit and they will attempt to try and fix the problem they couldnt fix the 1st 3 times. Repairman stated that in order to fix our Refrigerator we would need to thaw it for 21 hours before he can repair (think of all the circuits rusting). Dishwasher has had 3 motor replacements since 2010. I renewed another warranty plan as the motor goes out every year. We are totally disgusted with our Electrolux products.

I purchased a stove in December, at first I was happy with it. After a few weeks the burner stopped working, the oven doesnt work, the racks in the oven changed color. The paint is peeling off the stove racks, when I bake the knobs are too hot to touch. When I purchased the stove I also bought extended warranty on it. I called Home Depot where I originally brought the stove and they sent someone over. The person was supposed to write a report, and send it to Electrolux. Electrolux was supposed to call us back in two weeks after that. They never called, we had to call and complain, so they sent a technician of their own over. He came to our house, took a picture of the stove and left. He then wrote in his report that we should learn to use the oven. That was very disrespectful because he didnt even bother checking anything, not only that but maybe if the stove worked properly in the first place there wouldnt be a problem. Its March right now, and no one has done anything, Electrolux just keeps giving us numbers to call because they cant do anything. What was the point of having a warranty if it doesnt do anything? Very unhappy with this product and would not recommend.

We bought all new Electrolux appliances for our kitchen 4 years ago through Appliance Factory. Within the first year the ice maker quit working. Called Brand Source and they installed an upgrade but it never made ice regularly again. By the way folks, if you have Electrolux Model EW28BS701S1 and you have ice making problems, it will never be fixed. We got used to ice cube trays and bagged ice. I recently called Brand Source for repairs on 3 of my appliances (other stories for another day) and the first thing they did was take $500 to install new mother boards. It made a small amount of ice when the tech left to never make ice again. I called Brand Source again and asked for a different tech. After 15 minutes, he took pictures inside the ice maker, called Electrolux and then told me I would get a new refrigerator. The fingers in the ice maker are defective and they have known it all along. By the time Electrolux contacted me for the fridge swap, I wanted my $500 back. Electrolux said their only concern was to get me a new fridge. I called Brand Source and they basically said it was not their problem because the ice maker was making ice when the tech left the first time. I called Appliance Factory since they were going to be the ones delivering the new fridge and she also said it was not their problem since the fridge would get sent back to Electrolux. I figured I owned the fridge since I owned the $500 mother boards in it and was told I could not keep it. Basically I paid $500 for another refrigerator that would make ice (it was a very expensive refrigerator). The replacement is quite sub par compared to the one I had. It has gray dimple sides and the drawers are cheaply made. My original fridge was all stainless steel and heavy. So far I have ice. What a scam.

The main problem is the ice maker. The waterline frequently is clogged, necessitating service repair. The design of the ice receptacle is backwards, so every time you open the freezer, ice falls to the floor of the freezer, making you reach back to remove the ice from the floor of the freezer and the kitchen floor.

We've owned 3 over-range microwaves and this is our first one that is also Convection. We love it! Larger than our previous ones and much quieter! Lights illuminating our Range are fantastic! Much better than previous units. We like that the control buttons are on the bottom, much easier for shorter folks to see but they are a bit hard to press to get them to do what you want it to do. Maybe they'll soften up with use...we'll see. We do wish the Countdown Timer (which we use quite often) would beep until we shut it off when the set moments have completed. It beeps several times and that's it. If we're not around when it beeps and forget to look to see if the countdown is complete, what we have it set for could get overcooked. Minor problem though...we'll just buy a separate timer at Wallyworld or BB&B.

We have an entire kitchen outfitted with their top line appliances since May 2010. The cooktop hybrid no longer works and requires a $800.00 repair, the wall oven is missing screws, the dishwasher was replaced in the first 6 months and has had 3 repairs since. Today it is Jan 2016 and my dishwasher is broken. Angry yes. I will never buy another Frigidaire owned company product. I owned GE previously and never has an issue. Electrolux avoids their repairs by allowing third parties fix things they are not trained for. Third party repairs do not remove a broken cooktop. The homeowner must do it in order for them to repair. It is insane to think the repairman will charge you money just to write notes, not touch the cooktop and expect you to pay $200.00 for walking in your door. I am so disgusted with Electrolux. I now must shop for a new cooktop. I paid $2500.00 in 2010. I am going back to a gas stove because It is more reliable than any fancy oven that has a digital electric panel that malfunctions.

We purchased the ICON Electrolux kitchen suite for our new home. From the outside, the appliances are beautiful and appear to be built with quality. However, this was not the case at all. Of the five appliances in our kitchen (refrigerator, dishwasher, wall oven, 6-burner stove and microwave), four of them have issues. They are less than two years old and have too many problems for this to be a top tier appliance. Refrigerator has dents on front panels from the stainless steel overlay attachment seen when you stand at a distance. The freezer drawer does not shut level. Reported this when we first moved in. Company came out and said there was nothing they could do to fix this. They blamed it on the leveling of the kitchen floor. Not so because quality of home build we have no complaints. The wire drawer in freezer pulls out crooked and often comes off track. The ice maker takes too long to make ice and makes a very loud noise when ice is dispensed from the door. The dishwasher panel lights flicker on and off. We have to hit the panel to make them stop flickering. The time clock that reflects on the floor in the kitchen stopped working about 5-6 months after we moved in and I called them to fix it and they said it was not covered because that was cosmetic. Also, the inside rubber seal has come off several times. We have to push it back into the grooves. The gas stove does not light with the starters. I have to turn on two burners. So the fire from the other burner lights the gas from the burner that will not light. The oven cooks noticeably uneven. We have to rotate our pans in the oven for the food to cook even. I may be forgetting a couple of things. But these are too many issues to have with top of the line appliances. I called customer service several times to have issues addressed. Unfortunately, we only had a one year manufacturer warranty and when you are moving into a new house with a very busy life this time flies by and then you are stuck with covering issues with an expensive extended warranty that may not even cover all the issues. Very frustrating!! I have purchased a used basic Kenmore washer and dryer for $300 and it lasted 15 years without one issue. Electrolux is a waste of money.

We redid our kitchen on 2012, installing a full suite of Electrolux products. The refrigerator was an odd size, so we spend a fair amount of money building cabinetry around it to make it fit. The refrigerator worked for about four and a half years and then needed the computer replaced. Since then, there have been three additional repairs needed, replacing the fan, heating coil and thermostat. The last repair was two months ago. We have spend approx. $1,200 on these repairs. The unit is now not working again. I called Electrolux to explain the situation and ask if they would be willing to assist us with the purchase of a new refrigerator, given the issues with this one. I really dont want a new one, but dont want to incur the cabinetry bills for another refrigerator as I dont know that I can find one of the same size. They said they were not willing to offer any assistance. Their products are expensive, dont last and they dont stand behind it. All good reasons to never buy any of their products.

I bought a Bosch DW, had it installed and then discovered that it didnt have a rinse-only cycle! So, I went back to the store, upgraded to an Electrolux and had the two switched out (with extra unintended expense, by the way, as the Electrolux was just a bit taller and required that I have floor tile removed - and reinstalled - in order for it to fit). That was 4 years ago. I purchased the extended warranty, just in case. But before the original warranty expired, Id had problems with glassware being cloudy, and with a garbage odor inside the dishwasher any time used the rinse-only cycle. (I always scrape dishes before I put them in for rinsing.) Repairman could never find the reason for the odor; plumber verified that the installation was correct and no crimp in the drain line. Odor continued. After another complaint, this time because some items on the top shelf remained dirty, repairman noted that the upper spray arm was catching on the wand that supported it. Fixed it, but have had intermittent similar problems. Had not called for repair, mainly due to the inconvenience of scheduling and needing to be home for the visit, but also because of some health issues that for a while diverted my attention. Now, after a few months of finding one or two items on the top shelf looking as if hot water never reached them, I called once more. Surprise! My extended warranty expired last year!!! (Upon checking, I find that the e.w. on my Electrolux oven has expired, as well.) I was never notified of the need to renew either warranty! The customer service rep with whom I spoke about this earlier this week admitted that there had been a problem with their notification system, but suggested that I had the responsibility of keeping up with that sort of thing!! I will NEVER purchase another Electrolux product, which, by the way is nothing more than a dressed-up Frigidaire. I have Frigidaire front-loading washer and dryer, which I hate (washer door will not close properly and dryer never has dried sheets or towels on the first cycle!) and about which repairmen just make excuses. Stupid me, I didnt know that both brands were essentially the same. Bottom line, count me totally dissatisfied with both labels!!

Model # E130BM6CPSA. Purchased this Electrolux OTR Microwave with the convection and grill in the hopes that I could get rid of my Breville convection toaster oven from our kitchen counter. Unfortunately no luck in doing that. Purchased Aug.31, 2017 and because the kitchen cupboards had to be modified to accommodate the microwave it sat in the box until Jan. 5, 2018 when it got installed by professional cabinet installers who have done this many times. The microwave works well, however when I went to use the convection cooking function I ended up using it 2X as long as the toaster oven and then had to put it in the toaster oven to actually get past just being warm. Next day I tried to use the grill function to cook 6 small breakfast sausages and they also took 2X as long so I put them in the fry pan to finish.I call Electrolux customer service and they gave me 3 service companies to contact. We had one of them come and check out the unit and it never got to the temperature he entered on the unit and call Electrolux and the customer service rep he reached said the convection function takes about 40 min to reached the desired temp. (So I can only guess the preheat function is not working, but 40 minutes really.) The service tech then tried again to preheat the convection function and redid it for a 1/2 hour with no luck and call Electrolux a 2nd time that day. The customer service rep said that my expectation for this microwave were too high. Also the customer service rep pointed out to me that the manufacture date on the unit is 2015 and I purchased it in August 2017 so he suggested that I contact Electrolux again and tell them that I am not satisfied with the microwave which I did.The customer service rep did confirm to me that there was a note on file of my issue and said she would contact someone about my dissatisfaction with the microwave and get back to me the next day. No one called me back and I patiently waited and then finally called them back 2 weeks later and was basically told there is nothing wrong with the microwave and there is nothing they can do. I will never purchase another Electrolux convection/grill microwave and will purchase a Panasonic next time.

NEVER BUY ELECTROLUX!!! First know that I have previously purchased other products. GE that have lasted 2.5 times longer, no repairs and still running!! I decided to buy two higher END APPLIANCES thinking they would serve us well and add value to our home. WRONG! My refrigerator ice maker never worked properly. Finally I had it checked and repaired for about $600.00. Not many people service these products. Now the dishwasher broke! I called for assistance and they could not help me fix it (I removed the cover directed) then I said I will not pay for this to be fixed. They offered 50% off of parts to repair. I am in business. Parts are marked up at least 3 to 5 times the cost. So they are still making money. I said, fine, as long as I do not pay for service. They replied, cant help you there. Well, how insulting so I could be on the hook for a $300-$600 service call plus 50% of parts! I said, I am fair lets do this, Ill pay for the first $100 in service and 50% of parts. That is fair. If this product wasnt a bad product major repairs would not be necessary. So they could have used the money they would have made on the parts to pay for the balance of the service call. Please note we are a small household. Mother, Grandmother and daughter. These products are not overused or abused! NEVER BUY ELECTROLUX...ITS A WASTE OF MONEY!! IT WILL NOT LAST! THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS! We purchased a washer and gas dryer in June 2017. The washer is ok but the dryer seemed to take longer and longer to dry. The lint screen turns out to be the problem as it does not seal and lets lint get by into the blower. The blower blades get packed full and the safety heat circuits shut the gas off. Appears Electrolux also figured that the lint screen filter was a faulty design and on the new model did a complete redesign!! I have had this Electrolux EI23BC35K Counter Depth Refrigerator for about two weeks now, so I am ready to give it a review. Some things that I really like about it are: Looks great, doors and drawers all open and close smoothly. The LED lights come on and transition from off to full brightness in a couple of seconds. Rounded pyramid ice cubes from the door dispenser, and near half moon shaped cubes in the freezer, plenty of ice. So far, the ice makers are working perfectly. Temperature readings on the front display appear accurate. What I don't like about this refrigerator: The compressor and fans run constantly. I have only heard it shut off once, for about 15 minutes. Even after not being opened all night long, it is still running non-stop in the morning. It does have, as other reviewers have noted, a slight, high pitched whine coming from the compressor. It's not too loud, but noticeable. Since it never cycles off, it can be a bit annoying if you have good hearing and your kitchen is open to the living area. The water filling the ice makers makes a loud whoosh noise, much louder than my previous fridge. The refrigerator arrived in decent time, considering it had to be shipped from the east coast to the west coast. Upon arrival, the packaging appeared good, and once the cardboard was removed, it all looked good so I accepted delivery. After I completed the tedious task of removing the protective film from the stainless steel front, I found a small dent in the exact middle of the freezer door. It wasn't visible with the film on, and the film took a long time to remove as it was like peeling duct tape off. The blue film on the handles come off easily, but the somewhat clear film on the doors was a royal pain to remove, taking about 40 minutes to finish. I did not make the delivery people wait while I did this, so could not mark it as damaged in shipping, so I get to live with it. That being said, I am overall fairly happy with my purchase, but would really have to think twice about buying a major appliance this way again. I saved a couple hundred over buying locally, but lost out on having the slight damage repaired. The savings I made were used to buy a SquareTrade extended warranty and new water supply line. If I have any issues in the future, I will update my review.

Never buy an Electrolux side-by-side refrigerator with a water dispenser and ice maker. We bought one in 2011. After the first year, the water dispenser began to function erratically (the water wouldnt stop running). Over time, this problem cascaded into a myriad of problems that caused the entire unit to fail. We had paid for the extended warranty, so Electrolux replaced it. But now, the replacement unit has the same problems! Were reluctant to start the repair process, fearing this unit may also self-destruct. Our only option is to again pay $800 for the extended warranty but a good product should not require customers to endlessly invest in warranties. This product seems to have an inherent defect that the company has failed to fix. Save yourself this grief and buy some other brand of refrigerator besides an Electrolux.

I purchased a new home and it came with all Electrolux products. We have been in the home for four months. The following items have broken (some multiple times): - Dishwasher (electronic panel, soap dispenser, bottom rack defect - panel replaced and waiting on new soap dispenser to arrive). - Ice Maker (door broken/beeping all night long - fixed three times). - Fridge (handle broken and replaced). - Stove Hood (came dented, rubber seal not falling off in two places - still not fixed after multiple pictures, e-mails, calls, and a tech visit).- Washing Machine (Can not wash a full sheet set at one time. Soap will not dispense and load will be soaking wet. Must wash flat sheet and fitted sheet separate. All loads must be 4-5 small pieces only - Tech agreed this a problem. When I called, they saw his notes but did not have any plans outlined to fix this. It sounds as though this is not broken, but actually just the way their product works). Every single appliance has had problems, too many to outline. Some of the problems Electrolux has no fix for other than expensive parts to fix parts that they knew did not work. More problems are on the way, as our microwave has stopped rotating and our freezer is making a funny noise as well as the fan in the convection oven is making sounds that it did not make before. These are all top of the line appliances that should last more than a couple of years of use. However Electrolux does not agree or care. Had a Dishwasher and Microwave go out on me over the holidays. I seem to be burning out dishwashers at an alarming rate, the computer goes bad or motor goes out, leaks, not having good luck. So getting away from Kitchen Aid and Whirlpool and seeing the problems the new Samsung was having (people pushing chairs up against the door to keep it closed) I decided to go with this dishwasher as it was rated number one on some testing something on another site. They glorified the thing as god's gift to the dishwasher community, so okay. Ordered from Lowes, took it home and installed it. The inside is a little smaller than my last Kitchen Aid so that takes some getting used to as I like to stick car size things inside, huge pots for making spaghetti for 20 people like five gallon stuff, doesn't fit. Regular home, will not have a problem with this dishwasher, I over do it. It cleans better than any of the dishwashers I have had in the past. zed Glasses come out cleaner or more clear, well everything you can see it, I am surprised. Drying kinda sucks. I had turned off my water softener to fill fish tanks and if you use hard water, it does not dry the dishes very well. Turned on the softener, use Jet Dry and it does okay sometimes I got to shake a few things to get them dry when I take it out. The controls is something else I don't like. Press the start button and nothing indicates you made it happen. However if you put your ear to it, it makes a little beep beep sound, very faint. Then you close it and does a little faint song as to say its going and you know its going. For the amount of money I paid for this dishwasher and how well it cleans, I am willing to overlook the small things and I don't mind drying one or two things by hand, but others might see it differently. I like it and its doing good, so 5 stars. One more thing, I do BBQ and no other dishwasher can get some of the meat pans clean. I usually wash them in the dishwasher just to make it easier to do it by hand. This dishwasher actually cleans the pans first time out. Makes me wonder how long my dishes are going to last getting blasted clean like that, but I like the less work that is involved.

The microwave turn tray was turning inside the microwave and hit the inside side and caused the microwave to never heat again. Technician said it was a bad built design and they have had numerous issues with this because Electrolux icon put a metal tray inside of the microwave where as usually its a glass tray. Called Electrolux to get a discount on replacing and told me they could not help me and mind you my whole home is Electrolux. Freezer, Refrigerator, Warming tray, 36 Range, 2 Dishwasher, Wine refrigerator and mini refrigerator and they could not help me. Bad customer service so I recommend never purchasing from Electrolux. They do not stand behind their product.

My experience with Electrolux appliances is junk, junk, junk!!! I purchase three brand new appliances and they all had to be serviced right out of the packaging!! The french door bottom freezer refrigerator is junk. The ice maker in the bottom drawer was replaced within a month and a half after purchased. The upper ice maker has been replaced once, serviced two more times since then and now needs to be serviced again!! It goes through some type of defrost mode which causes the cubes to melt in both the upper and lower bins, which then drips out of the dispenser in the door and once again it does not make ice. It frosts up behind the ice bin itself which in turn needs to be serviced again to replace some seal. I have always purchased GE appliances and gave Electrolux a try being they are suppose to be a higher end appliance. Never, never again would I purchase Electrolux!!

Defective ei27bs 26js3 electrolux refrigerator: We bought a almost $2,500.- refrigerator November 2012. Within the first year the ice maker broke twice. Now in October 2015 the ice maker is broken again. All they did is offer me $719.73, extended 2 year warranty. That is a joke, since they know theyre selling a defective frige because many people have that ice maker problem. The service techs pointed that out when they replaced the ice maker. Electrolux is selling a defective frige and they should be stopped doing so.

I bought my Electrolux wall oven model CPEB30S9DC2 in early 2007 and it has worked without incident until Jan 16 2015. That evening we were cooking and lucky we were not out of our house and only in another room when we heard the sound of electrical short coming from the kitchen. Smoke was coming from the wall oven and thought that, an element was burning out due to its approximately 7.5 years of service. Pushing the OFF button on the face did nothing and sparks smoke and a burning plastic smell was filling the room. Went directly to the power supply and turned off the circuit breaker. Being in the manufacturing business of electric steam generating appliances for over 35 years, I investigated the construction of the printed circuit board that had caught fire in the wall oven. I was surprised to discover that there was no fused protection on this internal device. This lack of conscience in the design would have in the worst case scenario allowed a fire to start in the appliance that may have transferred to the surrounding cabinetry. Lucky for us, we had the power supply disconnected within 1 minute of the short circuit and the only damage was smoke and fumes, which we can still smell in our kitchen even after removing the wall oven, cleaning the smoke soot from the cabinetry and airing out the kitchen for 24 hours. Thought I was buying a quality product when I purchased this appliance but after reading about so many different appliance recalls on the internet, I want to take my next purchase apart and study the construction before installing in my home. There are too many horror stories out there about families that have lost so much due to appliance fires. I do not understand how this design could hold a CSA mark and have been passed for certification. My next letter is to CSA. Am I the only wall oven that has a printed circuit board that has melted and caught fire. Consumer beware!!

I bought a refrigerator brand new from this company about 3 years ago. Since buying my refrigerator they have been out 4 times to service the same part. 5 times if I can finally get someone to come out and service my refrigerator yet again because it stopped getting cold. I have had 2 appointments and know one have shown up. They was either canceled by the company or the worker never showed up. When asked will I be reimbursed for my food. I was told they dont do that. This company is HORRIBLE.

Electrolux has been nothing but an aggregation. I carefully selected this wonderful looking piece of equipment only to have the fridge konk out. Service was nothing but a run around...3 service visits and replacement of the mother board still resulted in an epic failure of now both the fridge and freezer. Local service company completely useless. Cannot express order parts. Dont even have basic parts for something that apparently is a chronic issue! Its going on 3 months with no fridge. Electrolux totally unresponsive pointing finger at repair co stating they cannot replace unit unless the company deems it unrepairable. Service co is so bad they move at a snails pace. Third visit stated that had never been to the house for a call before. Too many crossed wires. RECOMMENDATION: BUY A KENMORE FROM SEARS!

Electrolux refrigerator EW23BC711S SN 4A04802394 never worked properly. We have a service contract **. The freezer never closed tightly and we have experienced frosting from time to time. The ice maker has never worked. It does not maintain the right temperature to keep the ice from melting. Ice turns into solid block and is not usable. All the parts that could be replaced have been replaced as per comments from technician. There is a design flaws and the technicians have repeated that they have many issues with these refrigerators. Under the service contract, a replacement is called for after 3 similar calls. We have asked for a replacement and all Electrolux does is to send more technicians trying to wear us down. Well have no choice but go to court to get satisfaction.

For the first year, refrigerator worked well. Then ice maker began filling to capacity every twelve hours. It had to be emptied every night before bed or it banged all night. Called Electrolux and told out of warranty. They offered to send qualified repairman for four hundred dollar fee (parts not included). Have a whole house warranty and they sent a repairman who replaced a circuit. Ice maker worked for two days, then started making malformed ice cubes. Another repairman sent who replaced entire ice maker. It worked perfectly for six months. Then ice maker stopped making ice. Told by Electrolux to replace both air and water filters which I did wasting about a hundred dollars. After two weeks, it miraculously started making ice. Then after one month IT STOPPED. I changed the filters again because the control panel said they needed to be changed. Wasted another hundred dollars. Followed every suggestion in manual and finally got seven ice cubes (half melted and in a block). Emptied them out, replaced ice drawer and a few hours later got one malformed cube and water leaking all over the inside of the refrigerator and the floor. Cleaned up the mess and stood in front of the dispenser door to keep an eye on the devil. It cycles after taking water for a drink or when it goes through the regular cycle and then leaks a half cup of water from dispenser tube which I have now equipped with a plastic Chinese soup container. Once again, I must be sure to empty it before I go to bed. I hate that refrigerator and the company that spawned it. Like others, I waited until I was older, retired and handicapped to fulfill my dream of the perfect kitchen appliance. THANK GOD, I DIDNT BUY THE STOVE!

I called Electrolux (866-449-4200) for the repair of the oven I bought a year and a half ago. It took over a month for them to send over a repair company, and the repair company they sent over was Dependable Appliance Service, 718-966-6500. The service was not dependable at all. They scheduled an appointment with a no show. After researching the company, it scores an F on BBB. I called Electrolux Customer Service back, and I got the runaround. I even emailed the Head of Major Appliances, North America and Keith McLoughlin (President and CEO), and I got no responses. Not covered by warranty as acc. to Electrolux this is not a functional part. Strange - how is an oven with open door fit to purpose? We replaced it by a usual rack. We purchased our Electrolux French door refrigerator (model EW28BS85KS5) 2.5 years ago. Within days of delivery the freezer door would not stay closed, contacted Electrolux and the service company. They recommended twisted the door to get it to close and said it was repaired. Few days later door is back to opening on its own. Another company was sent out who fixed the door. All the plastic around the doors is cracking off now. Electrolux is sorry. Now both ice makers have stopped working. The top ice maker seemed to jam so my husband reached in to clear the ice and received a shock. I called and talked to Jennifer ** the Corporate Supervisor and she advised me only parts are covered. She understands how I feel but I will need to contact 1 of 2 authorized service centers for the repair of the ice makers. Very dissatisfied, Do not buy Electrolux products. When you set the oven to a pre-heat setting the oven heats up to that temperature but it doesnt maintain that temp and the temp begins to fall. Called Electrolux and they recommended a repair company and they came. They replaced the heat sensor for over $200.00 in repairs. No fix. Then called another company on our own and he replaced the motherboard, still no fix. My wifes first cousin (with my help) took the oven out of the cabinet and he found that the heating element at the bottom of the oven burnt up. Replaced that heating element and now the oven works just fine. Electrolux wanted to sell me an extended warranty on the oven for $500.00, not solving the problem. Electrolux customer services is PP even though youre paying top dollar for their product.

This is the first time I have ever written on of these reviews, but I just had to because I can honestly say that dealing with Electrolux has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had. And Im still dealing with them. Some background. About 15 months ago I bought a fridge and freezer set from them. They are fairly high end, stainless steel all fridge and all freezer set. Model numbers are # E32AR85PQS and # E32AF85PQS.I am amazed at the number of issues we have had with this fridge in such a short time. The handle is permanently loose, the seal is subpar, but those two issues are minor. After we had owned it for about six months, it started leaking water. We would wake up in the morning and there would be a pool of water in front of the fridge. I called the store where I bought the appliances, and they directed me to call Electrolux. After about a half dozen calls and no real concrete answers they finally gave me the name of two Authorized service providers in my area and told me to call them. I did - 1 was out of service and one wasnt taking appointments for a couple of weeks. We waited the couple of weeks while the leaking continued to ruin our hardwood floor. When the repairman showed up, he called Electrolux and they told him this was an issue they were aware of and they sent him a part to fix it. So this was an issue they were aware of, but they didnt bother to reach out to people that bought the fridge. No compensation for my ruined floor was offered.Jump ahead to about 3 weeks ago and our fridge is no longer cooling. The coldest it is getting is about 15 degrees Celsius (but it is usually warmer). I call Electrolux again and the first agent I spoke to says that I have to deal with it myself as it is past the 1 year warranty period. She asks if there is anything else she can help with and hangs up. Then I call back and get a different agent and I explain all of the issues I have previously had and she offers a part authorization, which means I have to pay for the servicing but not the parts.I do a little more digging into my receipts and manual and see that there is a 5 year warranty on the cooling system (which is obviously where the problem is). I call them back and ask for a supervisor and explain this and then she says yes, they will cover the service cost and parts. I am not particularly happy that I was the one that had to bring this up. Had I not, I would have been on the hook for a new fridge. So, she gives me two services providers to try calling to set up an appointment. The first is the one Id told them last time was out of business and the second one doesnt have an appointment until September (It is August 12th at this time). And this is only to come look at the fridge. I figure by the time it gets replaced or fixed I will have been without a working fridge for at least a month and a half in the summer (I have young kids, lots of milk and yogurt going bad). While this is all going on, I have someone else look at the fridge. He is an appliance repairman but not one of their authorized dealers. He tells me what he thinks is going on (compressor issue or worse) and I relay that to Electrolux. They actually call him to confirm this, but then tell me that his opinion does not matter as he is not an Authorized servicer. There are other repair companies that are nearby that would be able to come take a look at the fridge in the next few days, but Electrolux wont allow this because they arent Authorized. There are other Authorized repair companies that are further away that could come in the next few days, but Electrolux wont allow this. The would rather have us be without a fridge for at least a month. With all of the issues we have had with the fridge, I would assume they would try to be accommodating, but they are not, even in the slightest. So now I wait for 3 weeks for someone to even come take a look. Poor product, worse customer service. I would never purchase another Electrolux appliance and I would suggest others stay away.

I bought Electrolux dishwasher, range, and refrigerator in 2009 from Lowes
I bought Electrolux dishwasher, range, and refrigerator in 2009 from Lowes in Marble Falls, TX. The dishwasher was damaged when arrived, then not installed properly. After several attempts to get Lowes to replace it, and then several more phone calls with Electrolux, I finally had a new one installed. It always leaked, and I could get no one to take responsibility. It was the worst dishwasher I ever had, so I finally replaced it with a KitchenAid, which I love. The refrigerator is terrible! The filters need replacing all the time, the crisper freezes my lettuce, even on the warmest setting, so I can only use the right half of the drawer. The same is true for the cheese drawer. The ice and water dispenser do not shut off every time, which makes a huge mess on the floor. Came home last night from vacation, the CE alarm was going off, and everything in the refrigerator and freezer was ruined. Again, Electrolux will do NOTHING! I guess I will also throw the refrigerator out and replace it with a KitchenAid.

We purchased numerous fridges of this type from Electrolux back in 2014. We are a builder, so we kept all the fridges completely sealed and in secured storage. We have had issues with every single fridge from Electrolux so far to date. The most recent was the brand new fridge we moved into a brand new home. We plugged the fridge in, and immediately there was an obvious smell of smoke. Concerned, we unplugged the fridge. Our electrician had a look at the plug and it was working fine. We called Electrolux, and they told us the issue is probably the plug. We would need to get a report from a certified electrician to prove that there are no issues with any of the plugs or circuits in the home.We had a third party certified electrician come out, take a look and provide a report. We called Electrolux back, and they said an electrician report wouldnt count. They also somehow did not have the last call on file. They said we would instead need to get a certified Frigidaire technician to come out and look at the fridge. They gave us two possible companies in our area we could use.We hired one of the two provided companies to come and take a look at the fridge. They did, and said that it was clear the main computer blew up as soon as the fridge was plugged in. It also appeared one of the secondary computers was fried. They made a report, and attempted to send it to Electrolux internally. Electrolux refused to accept it.We called Electrolux yet again, saying we have a report from a certified Frigidaire technician, and could we please have an email to forward the report to. Electrolux said that never happens and only certified technicians can send reports. I told Electrolux that they themselves had already refused to receive the report internally. The call person refused to provide any email and told me to call the certified technician and tell them to send again. We updated the certified technician, who said they would try again. They were again refused, and had to try and send the report through Electroluxs Contact Us form on their website. We then had to wait nearly 2 weeks before Electrolux called back, just to say nothing is covered and it isnt their problem. To replace the computers is very expensive, and with the other issues we have had with the other fridges, we had to just buy an entirely new fridge (not from Electrolux). Normally I give the benefit of the doubt over and over, but this is by far the worst service and quality I have seen - especially considering the level of luxury Electrolux is supposed to have. We will not be using Electrolux again and we will be recommending against it to any clients in the future. Thank you.

I purchased an expensive fridge from Electrolux. The ice maker never worked. The repair people came out countless times. Repair people told me the ice maker is unfixable. I paid for an extended warranty being told that I could get a replacement for my fridge if it broke down 3 times within the year. When the break downs continued, the repairman told me that they are not allowed to report the appliance irreparable & that they are obligated to continue to try to repair it even though that is not possible. Electrolux basically never has any intention of honoring a warranty with a new appliance. It is all a big scam to get you to pay more money & them not be on the hook for a bad product. Very disappointing from a supposed high end appliance company. The customer service there is a joke and will be so frustrating to deal with. You will want to throw your fridge out the window. They will lie to you point blank about multiple things. Too long of a list to name. FYI my fridge has been the subject of a class action because it has been proven this ice maker is bunk and does not work. But under the class action of course you get nothing -- like $100. Nothing compared to the aggravation or the cost of a new fridge.

Purchased brand new front load ElFLS60LTI Electrolux washer and dryer July 2015. Washer leaking from underneath and called service repair company. Back metal wheel with rubber belt had continually been cutting away into the back of the drum and carved out a hole where water leaked out. There was plenty of shredded strips of the rubber belt at bottom of the unit due to half of the belt eroding away as it was carved into the back of drum with the metal wheel. Not worth money to repair. I took photos and called Electrolux customer service and asked for a discount toward a new washer or even a used washer since this one was in use for only 2.5 years. The answer was NO. They suggested I shop around for deals. They did offer me 50% off any parts. Nothing toward labor. So I might as well buy a new washing machine. How about offering me 50% off a washer since this clearly was a defect. Anyway, I will never purchase an Electrolux product again.

This is the worst experience I have ever had. Six months ago, moving to the new home, everything is fine but the Electrolux washer keeps giving me headache. Same sensor problem happened 3 times. There are 3 different companies that came to fix it. Okay, finally its fixed, but this is not a very good sign to have such a new machine with recurring problem. I had a very bad feeling about it, but they refused to replace a new functional one to me. No refund! No replacement. Live with it!Recently I found a lot of mold within the gasket and even the hardest clean layer. I tried to wipe it ever since I found it, but it just keeps coming back. I expect a new gasket, but the customer service said its not covered by the warranty. I need to pay for the part $155 + tax + techs labor. What? Is this my responsibility? The poor design is trapping the water. They said I need to leave the door open and clean it every time. There is a gap very, very hard to reach in. I cant imagine the front load washers door needs to be left open to air dry. No wonder there are horrible news about kids got into the washer or dryer. I am buying a $1,400+ washer, but I need to wipe it after each wash? High tech or more work? Reading their FB and saw many people complain about all types of appliance they bought. I wish Id read it! They really dont care about their reputation and no customer services at all.

Five years ago I remodeled my kitchen. I was talked into the top of the line Electrolux icon line and paid the price for it! Now I am again paying the price for it. Where shall I start? Hmm lets go with the overpriced refrigerator that has now almost completely fallen apart. Every shelf made with plastic fittings has now broke. Shelves are now barely holding one, drawers dont roll and stick and again, plastic parts broken and cannot be repaired. Overpriced built-in convection/microwave. Now not working as I dont want to put an additional $500.00 to repair the thing. Id rather put the money towards something worth having. Oh, and this is the second time its been repaired. Built-in convection oven electrical panel has been replaced once. Im not holding my breath. Now this morning, two of the electrical units on my flat top built-in stove have an error indicator on them. Who knows what is wrong now! All I can say is seriously, 4/4 items being in disrepair in less than five years. Well, you do the math. Do not buy any Electrolux product.

I purchased a Frigidaire Fridge through Sears in August of 2015. I chose Sears because we have one locally and I heard they had excellent customer service. Within a few months of purchasing the fridge the door handles were loose and the water/ice system was not working. I called Sears but was directed to Transglobal. A technician was called and the problem was fixed. A few months later... another issue. At this point I asked if I could have fridge replaced as I felt it was a lemon. Transglobal said I needed 3 documented repairs within my warranty period. Lo and behold last week (20 months into owning the fridge) the compressor stopped working. My family is stranded with no fridge. I had to pay for a service call directed by Transglobal for the technician to tell me the compressor part alone costs 700$ plus 2 hours of labour. Transglobal contacted Electrolux to see if they would replace the cost of the part at the very least and possibly the whole unit as it has been a lemon. Electrolux denied me any support with repair or replacement. I called into Electrolux and asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told that I had to call back at 5:30 pm. Basically, he told me I could call back and send an email but he couldnt do anything for me. I said goodbye, and called back. This time I got a new person who was surprisingly helpful. He asked my name and said that Transglobal had not sent in the service reports for my fridge. He then requested the service reports and said he would get back to me. I am still waiting and Im hopeful this can be resolved. There are so many issues here... Firstly, the product, secondly the sideways way of getting support, thirdly the various skill levels in customer support. I have spoken to 8 people at both Electrolux and Transglobal and 3 have been helpful. Thats less than 40% success in dealing with customers.

3 calls, 2 separate trips to fix our Frigidaire dishwasher which Electrolux does the installs for on new homes. 3 times the dishwasher has flooded our kitchen floor and all we get a substandard fixes and trite customer service. The home builder said after three times they are supposed to replace the appliance and Electrolux does not want to do that. They only want to send someone out to fix again. Electrolux is only in the business of warrantying and not resolving issues. Dont give them the time of day. Save your breath even if the warranty service is free and go buy a new unit from Lowes or Home Depot.

Units are made in Mexico and are poorly tested, made and stood behind by Frigidaire who warranties this 23 sq ft stainless unit for 1 year. You can get an extended 3 year warranty called a Platinum star warranty as an option. Little faith it might last one year as we see it. Numerous complaints are on the web primarily centering around the a ice maker. We are on # 3 ice maker in 6 years since purchase. Customer service in Ga. was a TOTAL waste of time and we were advised no recalls or bulletins had been issued on any model. Wished you could have heard their lack of concern. We guess after waiting over 30 min. for an agent, most people would have bailed on the call and we called first thing in the morning. Keeps the complaints down if you cant wait an hour to get help. In addition to the ice maker, we now have a ce code alert on the front led panel and no lights in the unit. After shelling out 3 service calls for this fine work of refrigeration- this will be our last, The repair is scheduled in 12 hours and it will be sold.We called our place of purchase Goedekers in St. Louis and discussed our displeasure to the owner whose sales people pitched this as a great deal for $3500 in 2000. The sales people placed it in the category of Sub Zero, Wolf, and Viking. Goedekers were asked today to have the local or regional rep. contact us but they doubted we would hear from them so now we are warning all consumers. We are on city water and when the unit was installed-GOEDEKERS ran the water line. To replace it if that contributes to our issues- the current repair people now say I need an additional plumber charge to re-install it. More charges to remedy a piece of crap that had little testing on it before it was placed in the market place. Craigs list will be seeing this soon- we pity the buyer but will just say we are going with another brand and this runs fine now. It is true Electrolux sucks - in vacuums and now refrigerators. DO NOT BUY ANY MODEL OR YOU WILL SUFFER BADLY. Our model is: EW23CS65GS1. You have been warned.

Double wall oven, undercounter ice maker, fridge, dishwasher and six burner cooktop. Problems with everything except the cooktop. Finally had to threaten contacting state Attorney General. Most have complaint forms online. I agree that they rely heavily on you purchasing an extended warranty.

DONT RECOMMEND TO BUY ELECTROLUX PRODUCTS!!! Bought a brand new unit of Electrolux EWT903 XW top loader washing machine last August 2015. This is 9 kg washing machine for 2 person. We also seldom use the machine since we go out of town always. The machine suddenly broke down on October 2016. Call the Electrolux Philippines head office for request to check the machine problem. The service was so bad, that it took more than 3 weeks to schedule to checkup. The Check up was done on Nov 26, and the service technician advised that the Gate valve below the machine to let the water flow out was damaged. Asked the Service Technician the cause of damage, the service Technician also dont know. Later, the Office call me, and explained the cause of damage may be as ff: 1) Electric fluctuation 2) overload. This 2 reason are so dumb stupid reason, since we seldom use the machine. My conclusion is there must a design problem for this Electrolux EWT903 EW washing machine. DONT RECOMMEND TO BUY.

Purchased 1st refrig in 2011. Problems with ice maker, replaced with new one, making ice but it switches to water mode and shoots water all over the floor. Cant fix. So now I am waiting for them to send me my 3rd refrig. I hope it comes soon before my wood kitchen floor buckles from all the water that leaks out plus water is leaking inside the unit. The back of the refrig is oil canned, I can hear water dripping 24/7. My previous cheap brand refrig I had for 18 years never 1 problem. I hope this new one is the keeper.

After installing the fridge in my newly built home, it leaked and ruined a portion of my new hardwood floor. After seven months of jumping through numerous hoops to provide documentation, receipts, photos, statements etc, they refused to take ownership or reimburse the $2,000.00 in repairs. I sent several letters, emails and left phone messages with customer service while waiting for their response and no one ever got back to me. This is, without a doubt, the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I will never purchase another Electrolux product. My son is building a house and he is steering clear of this company as well.
