Complaint sent in December 2016. After being on hold for 20 minutes spoke with a unconcerned/unkind Caleb ** head manager (or so I was told) of the appliance department. We have a Bosch dishwasher, where basically the upper and lower racks are disintegrating due to rust. The machine is still fairly new, and is run only with your recommended Finish products. The plastic coating on the racks appear to crack and scale off, exposing rusted/rotten metal underneath, something that does not appear to reflect the product quality one would expect from Bosch. It is frankly surprising as we thought we had purchased a quality German appliance like the many other Miele products we have in the house. The damage is on both upper and lower racks, so if I were to guess, I would attribute this to a poor/wrong coating on the steel racks. The damage is not caused by chips caused by loading/un-loading the machine. Boschs reply.. We will give you 20% off new racks as customer goodwill. When carefully ordering a product with a reputation for quality I would have expected them to have more concern when their appliances fail. Super disappointed and will not be buying or recommending another Bosch appliance in the future.

This dishwasher leaves dishes dirty each and every time. Foul odor buildup is another issues we have to deal with. We clean the filter and sprayer arms twice a month. Most of the time dishes are thoroughly rinsed before we place them inside the dishwasher. We are very disappointed with our Bosch dishwasher.

I have a washing machine and it has PCB malfunction. The repair technician visited 9 days ago and ordered the parts from Bosch. Since Bosch has monopoly of the repair services, the parts are not available in open market. Hence no one except for the Bosch can repair the machine. Now I have to rely on Bosch to fix the machine at a cost dictated by Bosch. It has already been 15 days my washing machine is not working. When called Bosch customer care, they are totally unaware of the status of the parts delivery. This is going to be my last purchase of a Bosch appliance. Really disappointed and unexpectedly fooled by such a big brand name.

WALL OVEN: I bought Bosch Benchmark appliances for my home. I am now on the 4th repair for the wall oven (exact same problem all 4 times) in a year and still Bosch hasnt figured out theres a problem with this oven. All 4 times when the oven stopped working I was without the use of my oven for 20-25 days waiting for repairmen, parts or be ordered, etc. 80 days in total so far in less than a year that I have not had the use of my oven, and counting. AND to make matters worse, the only time I use this oven is when I have guests, the rest of the time for myself and my husband to make small meals we use the smaller speed oven. So, 4 times in less than a year there has been multiple guests in my home for dinner parties, and the oven has stopped working. Add all those people up and youll see how many people have walked away with a bad opinion about Bosch appliances. Not to mention that at each dinner, because my oven stopped working, I had to resort to ordering in for my guests and all the fresh fish and chicken etc that I had bought to prepare for my guests had to be frozen because I knew Id be without my oven for another 20-25 days before I could bake it.SPEED OVEN: I also have the Bosch benchmark speed oven, that too has had one repair in less than 6 months of being installed, same problem as what I had on the wall oven. Thankfully the speed oven got repaired and seems to have been working fine ever since (knock on wood). COOKTOP: I also have a Bosch induction cooktop. No problems as of yet with that. Im keeping my fingers crossed but Im scared to death because my trust in Bosch is so very low.I have told everyone that comes in my home and raves about my gorgeous kitchen renovation DO NOT EVER BUY BOSCH. And most of them have seen it first hand now how bad the appliances are because theyve all been at my home at one time or another in the past year and seen the oven fail in front of their own eyes. So Ive got lots of witnesses and sadly Bosch has lots of people who know to never buy their appliances. 2 of the families who were at my house in the past year and saw the wall oven stop working, have now done their own kitchen renovations and both of them made a choice NOT to buy Bosch because they said they would not take the chance seeing all the problem I had with mine.I have kept a detailed journal of all my repairs, dates, time, conversations, videos, etc. Because I am fairly certain that I will end up suing the retailer and/or Bosch for breach of warranty/contract and for not disclosing material facts prior to my purchase. But because its still under extended warranty Im going to keep letting them repair it as many times as they want, and I will keep my journal and history so that shortly before the warranty wears out I will then sue and force them to give me a full refund... I cannot accept a replacement oven because Bosch does not have another wall oven that could be installed in my kitchen without me doing a kitchen reno again (which is not going to happen).

There is a class action attorney interested... Bosch didnt recall their hazardous (bursting into flames!) dishwashers until a suit was filed. Similar issue here with brand new Bosch double convection oven--control panel and knobs became scalding the first time we used it. It took over two hours for the control panel and knobs to cool down. We keep it shut off at the breaker because the technician said it was just a glitch. Bosch told us if the technician says its safe to use your oven its safe to use your oven--but they refuse to warranty any damage to our kitchen (hello--our us!) if theres a future problem. Theyll just replace the oven--I guess after it burns down your kitchen. Make sure you report the problems on Consumer Advocacy site so others can be aware.

I did not believe that I wouldnt have to scrape and rinse my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher, but with my new Bosch I had to suspend my skepticism! It does a marvelous job! While I purchased my Bosch electric range in September of 2014 and am out of warranty, I had expected a better experience when the inner glass door shattered during the self-cleaning cycle, especially as I rarely use the oven and this was only the 3rd time I used the self-clean feature. When I called Bosch, the agent I spoke with seemed to agree with me that there must be a defect of some kind for this to happen, and she made an appointment for a technician to assess the issue at no charge to me. I may have been somewhat naive, but I was led to believe that Bosch would likely review the issue and not charge me for the repair as the damage clearly occurred due to a defect in the appliance and through no fault of mine. The technician they sent was awesome, arrived on time, assessed the problem and told me he would order the glass. As I didnt hear back from Bosch, I assumed that the agent had brought my issue to the attention of her supervisor and, since I didnt hear back, assumed there would be no charge to me. Well the technician is in my kitchen repairing my oven door and asked if Id heard from Bosch as to the charge. When I advised I hadnt, he suggested I call. I was shocked to find out that no one had made an effort to send my issue up their chain of command, nor was I able to speak with a supervisor as there was none available. The best they would offer, as the technician was already doing the repair job, was a 20% discount off the replacement glass.I also had an issue with my Bosch microwave one month out of warranty when the turntable motor stopped working. I was told I would have to pay not only for the replacement piece, but for the technicians visit, but I wasnt told that until the repair guy showed up at my door and told me that I would be seeing lots of him because they dont make appliances the way they used to. I sent him away on principle and hired an appliance repair guy to do the job - it wasnt cheaper but I couldnt get past the guys attitude.Had I known I would also be charged to repair a defective appliance, I would probably have hired the same appliance repair guy to do the job. The only thing that made this experience less horrible was the technician they sent - he was prompt, efficient and clearly knew what he was doing. I bought Bosch Appliances because everything I read indicated they were absolutely top of the line. I am severely disappointed in the product and their poor customer service problem resolution.

We bought our dishwasher because we had a Bosch and loved it. It was too costly to repair. One week into having this dishwasher, the door became heavy. We called for repair and they said the string broke (yes, the string). How could you make a dishwasher using string? When I tell people, they laugh but I dont think its funny. We are getting another one just like this one but luckily we bought the contract so I guess they will be out once a month to replace the string. Couldnt you think of something more substantial than string?

The dryer has been problem free. I have had this dryer for almost three years and have not had any problems. We live in a condo so we purchased this model because of the smaller size. I really like the new Bosch dishwasher we purchased. The problem is that the bottom rack flies off the grooves provided for it in the interior door frame when open for loading or unloading. No matter how we try, the rack seems to disengage from the grooves provided. There are no tracking mechanisms, just gravity holding the rack in place, so were wondering what were doing wrong. Has anyone else had this issue and if so... how youve dealt with it. Thanks.

Unfortunately I am one of those that got no help from Bosch. They said there is nothing they can do and that I would have to pay $99 for them to send someone out. And that only covers the first 18 minutes of diagnostics. From there it was $120/hr. This microwave is part of an oven combo unit that cost over $2200 so it is not as simple as just replacing the microwave either. Thought I was getting a high end product but I guess not. Beware of Bosch less you find yourself hoping you win the customer service lottery of whether they choose to help you or not. BTW, this unit is only 26 months old.

We purchased what we believed to be a high-end Bosch dishwasher (Model Number SHX43 CO5UC). Were a family of 2 and use the dishwasher about every other day. After about 2 years, the pump/motor went out and the cost of repair is approaching $500 plus labor. Bosch, when contacted by phone, said it is out of warranty and we were on our own. One would reasonably expect a reportedly high-end product, lightly used, to last longer. And if for some reason it failed, one would reasonably think that the manufacturer would provide some type of support to make the product work (as designed and advertised) at a reasonable cost to the consumer. Note - this is a $600 dishwasher.

We purchased a Bosch dishwasher from Lowes in October of 2016. The configuration was somewhat clunky but we dealt with it. We followed all manufacturer recommendations for use and had no problems until April 2019. After loading it and running it the cycle ended before it should have, when I opened the dishwasher it was full of dirty water and the dishes were not clean. I checked the book and online. Followed the directions to empty the water and check the filters. There was nothing blocking the filter. I tried to run it again, stopped after 10 minutes again full of water. Again followed the steps. Called Lowes. Was told that since it was more than a year old I needed to contact Bosch. I contacted Bosch who claimed the problem appeared to be in the control module. They offered a few (3) Bosch Authorized Service Centers, I called the one that was only 30 miles away (closest), after 30 minutes on the phone with model number and serial number they told me the part I needed was no longer available and if I wanted a service call it was $100 up front and they could not get here for two weeks. My husband found the correct part online, ordered it from Bosch ($110 plus shipping), he installed it and the problem was still there. You turn on the dishwasher and it runs for 30 seconds, then claims it is sanitized. We then called a different repair company and they could not figure out what was wrong. We went back to Lowes hoping for at least the offer of a discount from a new dishwasher. No support, they said we should call a local appliance repair company to fix it. I told them I would call a local appliance company to sell me a new dishwasher. Apparently 30 months is the length of time a dishwasher is supposed to last. Very very disappointed with Bosch and with Lowes.

Bosch Free Range Stove Model #HGS3052UC - My mom, 75 years old, called yesterday upset that her stove will not turn off. She called Boschs customer service to advise them that her stove will not turn off and that she needs someone to come take care of it. She was quoted approximately $129 for the first 18 minutes and $12 for every 6 minutes after that and told her the first available date was over a week later. So, in other words, they told her it will be ok for her oven to be on 24/7 for over a week until someone gets there. It gets better!! My husband went over to look at it and realized that the screen that displays the clock and functions was hanging off behind the glass. He opened the back to find that the control module was held on by double sized tape!! I kid you not!! This was supposed to be one of the better stoves and it is held together by tape!

Worst customer experience. Save yourself the nightmare and dont buy Bosch appliances. I spent nearly $3k on a new washer and dryer from Bosch. After almost 3 months I still dont have both machines fully functioning. This is incredibly inconvenient since I have a young child and have to do laundry frequently. Bosch has given my husband and I the run around repeatedly. Their customer support is terrible. Weve lost 4 vacation days staying home for repair men and at least 20 hrs of calls and being on hold. They call at 9 pm the night before they come with a window, they change the times, cancel appointments. It just never ends. They obviously dont care about their customers. It cleans OK but lacks a good drying feature. I had a lower model previously and it worked much better than this higher end one. Silverware is still dirty at times, pans and glasses still wet. I love the light at the bottom showing its on because it is so quiet. It has a 3rd shelf, a variety of ways to arrange dishes by either leaving the tines up or down. It seems to be smaller than the older models. Very sleek, hidden controls. The light at the bottom showing it is on almost bleeds across the floor. The lower end model I had before didnt do this, just a red dot. Ive had this one exchanged and it still bleeds all over the floor. Just not up to snuff, like the older, less expensive model was.

Didnt clean anything. You had to wash the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. If you rinsed the dishes they would come out dirty. There was no difference in the normal wash to the heavy duty wash or even quick wash. It was a regular sized dishwasher, 22 inches wide I think. Stainless steel showed every water drip fingerprint and pet nose print. It was pathetic. No assistance from Bosch for its warranty was useless. Changed the motor and no difference. Purchased a dishwasher and oven in 2007. The DW was rated #1 and environmentally friendly... Its not ... It requires expensive rinse agents and it doesnt clean the dishes. The heating elemental either never worked or broke just outside of the 1-year-warranty. We had purchased the extended warranty so at least they fixed it.... But it still cost that added $150 bucks. The convection oven was also $1000 and doesnt cook several trays of cookies perfectly as advertised...not worth the money. Two years ago the main computer module fell off the back... The glue dried out that held it in place. Thankfully we jerry-rigged it back. Now the oven door wont close properly, so the oven turns itself off. We called for service and they said the part is $240 plus $150 for labor. I called customer service to see if they could help out... Nope... They blame me... I must have set something too heavy on the door.

Shelves are not the right distance apart (not allowing the stacking of such things as 2 yogurt pots) thus wasting lots of space, putting a huge draw in place of a door shelf, door shelves with a cover, the freezer is much smaller than the previous even though the external dimensions are the same. Bosch 500 series 44-decibel - I purchased the Bosch model SHP65T52UC in January 2015. I love the 3rd drawer for silverware, and that it has a 30 minute wash cycle if I want to use it. What I dont like is that I find it hard to place my dishes and have to be careful with tall glasses or they will hit against the 3rd shelf. Also, I noticed that it harbors moisture because there is no drying element inside and after a day there is a bad order like rotting garbage so I have to wipe down the sides and back or leave the door open so it dries. At the time, Bosch offered free installation so I got a refund in the form of a prepaid Visa card. It worries me about all the negative reviews, but so far so good. Does a great job. Very pleased from the towels to the farm clothes grease and grime the machine cleans well. We live on a farm and the water use was a big selling point for me, it was great not having the constant worries thru the drought. The shorter cycles on the machine is what I use most, the more grime the more time for washing. I have had big top loader machines all along when our 4 children were growing up but now with mainly 2 to 4 adults and some times the grandbabies its perfect.A friend recommended the brand, I had people say they werent happy with the front loaders. I decided to pay for the expensive machine, but spare parts expensive. We broke the latch on the door and a new one was $400.00.That was a shock. My son made a high frame to it on for ease of access. No bending for me which is great and a must.

We purchased our Bosch dishwasher from Sears and not from a big box store to ensure internal component quality. From a performance and value perspective the Bosch 800 series dishwasher exceeded our expectations. No matter the grime the washer get things spotless, is quite efficient from an electricity standpoint and whisper quiet. 2 years after purchase I still need to listen intently to ensure the unit is filling up with water. Exceptional quality in terms of parts and the internal mechanism.

The convection wall oven has locked up and over heated 4 times in 6 years, once cremating a very expensive standing prime rib roast, the circuit board replaced twice. The microwave had its circuit board replaced and the dishwasher had to have its hinges repair. All on my dollar, even though the oven was just barely over 1 year old, the microwave was 2 and the dishwasher 4. Their customer service is the worst. For company that thinks it is high end it is just another overseas cheap piece of junk. Do not buy Bosch appliances.

I purchased a Bosch Dishwasher (i.e. total cost $$857.98) which was installed in Dec 2017. About 3 weeks ago I was receiving error messages as well as the machine skipping cycles and stopped. Given that one of the error messages was E24 the Bosch authorized repairer wanted to order a pump for the machine to save me from minimizing the number of trips he would need to be made. May I add the service charge would have been $180, labor and parts extra given that the pump was outside of the warranty. After ordering the pump, I receive a message that the pump is in. But of course it was the wrong pump. I will not bore you with the details of the story but after a lengthy conversation, I told this company to NOT come at all and will find another Bosch authorized dealer. Well, I did, he promised to come, waited for him and he never showed up, did not call even though I left several voice mails, etc. Bosch kept saying we need a diagnosis but it sure is difficult if there own people do not show up as promised or have excuses about the wrong pump being ordered, etc.I provided all the detailed information that Bosch wanted. This evening I received an email from them telling me a decision had been. I doubt if this case was escalated to management as I requested. I called Bosch (25 minute wait) to find out what the decision would be given that they emailed me and said decisions cannot be provided by email or voicemail. The Bosch rep said they were going to do a big favor and as a 1-time courtesy provide the parts but I still would be responsible for the service call and labor. BTW, the issue in all likelihood is a control panel which has a 5-year warranty. Or in other words they did nothing except to ensure that I will never purchase a Bosch appliance again. If there would have been a pump issue the retail price is $30.05. Such an offer from Bosch. Bosch service providers are few and far between. And from my experience they are totally incompetent. Bosch sold me a lemon of a dishwasher and has failed to provide any type of concern for their customer.

After extensive research on the best dishwasher on the market we found that it was Bosch. We purchased one on 1/30/16 from Sears. Upon delivery they told us that the fact that we were told and there was a sign on the dishwasher we bought that we would get a supply of Finish dishwasher tablets that it was a mistake. I was told to call and deal with Bosch on it did not get anywhere with it. Sears had to come back because it was not hooked up properly before I could actually use it. After getting it hooked up it worked good for the few months we used it. We are only in the property it was installed in a maximum of 5 months. The dishwasher began giving us an E20 code and when we looked it up online it said pump or motor problem. I called for service first at Sears and was told it would be 2 weeks at least before service. Called Bosch and they gave us a number and was told the same thing 2 weeks at least. Went online to chat with Sears and was told that the pump and motor had at least a 2 year warranty. Today repairman came said the pump is bad and that the warranty would not cover. They told us to call Bosch directly to talk to them and have been trying all day but cannot get anyone to answer. I am put on hold saying I will be helped by next available person and stay on hold but eventually I am cut off. Frustrating. This dishwasher cost way more than others but we were willing to do it thinking it would be the last one we buy. After hardly using it we are told repair will be between $400 and $500. It is not acceptable. Hopefully eventually someone at Bosch will answer and take care of us but cannot continue calling week after week. It is already going on 3 weeks without the dishwasher we only use a few months anyway.

I moved into a condo last April and the drum is already broken on the dryer. Theres clearly no user error involved, but Bosch is charging me $400 to fix it because they only support their products for 12 months. Its very likely that the drum was already cracked in the first 12 months and even if it wasnt, I advise people to avoid any company that refuses to stand behind their products. Run from Bosch!

I would give a negative start if it was possible. My Bosch microwave began turning on by itself. I purchased it with a paid warranty. I called Bosch in early February and they set up a time for someone to fix it in early March. The Bosch repairmen came and said he fixed it, however, the issue reappeared moments after he left. I called back. They set up another appointment and the repairmen did not show up when he was supposed to (of course they never gave me any notice). I called back and set up another appointment. Of course, the repairmen never showed up. I called Bosch and complained to a manager (who was the rudest manager I ever spoke with). He set up another appointment. This time the repairmen actually showed up with the parts but then informed me that the parts they ordered wont fix the issue. So they had to order different parts. So I set up another appointment for today. Surprise surprise, the Bosch repairmen never showed up (again with no notice). In summary, during the past 5 months, I have set up 5 appointments and have had 3 no shows (without any notice). I have complained to Bosch US, Bosch UK, and Lowes. I filed a formal written complaint to Lowes. I have spent over 15 hours calling Bosch. I have complained to 4 managers to no avail. 2 managers were supposed to call me back but they didnt. I am at a loss for what to do. Now all I want is my warranty money back or a new microwave. Can anyone help me????

I have had my electric glass cooktop since 2010 and have been very pleased. Never had a repair. It has an integrated Power Start feature which heats the element quickly to the highest power and then resets it to the continuous cooking setting picked. I guess like a gas stove would be. Another great feature is the Auto Chef that works with a pan that came with it, on one element. This sensor controls the temp of the pan, heating up only when necessary and prevents burning, but does do frying!

Bosch Dishwasher SHE3AR52UC/21 a $500 dishwasher from Lowes. From the many reviews of Bosch after I spent Saturday installing this dishwasher to a T. Being a certified aircraft mechanic it wasnt too hard, all leveled and hard wired up. Lo and behold the door wont stay shut and the top latch is sprung in the down and locked position. Called and did the whole thing to get Bosch to fix it but it will be two weeks before I can get a tech and even then he wants to look at it first before they order a part. I ordered the $8.00 latch myself so we will see in two days if thats the fix. By ALL of the latch comments on here Im really surprised Bosch hasnt recall this cheap plastic latch.

Nine months ago, we renovated our kitchen which included purchase of a Bosch dishwasher, SHX4AT75UC/14. I read about this dishwasher on the Consumer Report website. I couldnt disagree any more with CR. This dishwasher does a terrible job in cleaning dishes. There is almost always food residue on cups and silverware. I use a brand name soap and regularly fill the rinse agent reservoir. Bosch advertises this machine as a quiet. Its no more quiet than any dishwasher Ive ever had. Steer clear of Bosch - I will never purchase anything from this company again.

I purchased a $1500 Bosch dishwasher. 3 repairs to the malfunctioning salt indicator in first 22 months of ownership. Bosch would do NOTHING for us. A Bosch compact pair (each 24 inches wide) has been great for 15 years, and the dryer just died, and I replaced it with this unit so I could still plug the old Bosch washer into the dryer for power. Bosch is only making ventless dryers now, and I bought this against my better judgment because the reviews of the ventless dryers have been terrible. Bosch apparently went to ventless because of new regulations about lint fires in ducted dryers. This dryer is great! The automatic sensor is adjustable for different levels of dryness. It is faster than the previous vented Bosch dryer, and the clothes come out perfect. The fact that the washer spins to 1200 means the clothes are already pretty dry. If your washer does not spin at 1200, that might explain why clothes would take a long time to dry in this dryer. The condensation unit at the bottom of the dryer drains into a hose which empties into the same drain as the washer. (If you have a 3 prong outlet, the manual shows how you can rewire the dryer for a 3 plug cord, or you can replace the outlet) . Some warm dry air is emitted from the dryer and we use it to help heat the house when it is cold. Why waste this source of heat? In the summer I will direct the warm air into the garage or turn on the exhaust fan in the laundry room. In short, we are thrilled with this dryer. We have only had it a short time, and hope it will last as long as its predecessor.

The stainless steel front of the range oven (which must weigh about 5 lbs) which covers the entire door came off and almost broke my toes. The range trim plastic piece which holds the glass onto the oven front broke. We had Sears come out to fix it and they said it was loose and screwed it back on. Then the glass front again fell off, luckily when I was not there. Then we bought $200 worth of new plastic trim pieces and screws from Bosch authorized dealer. Again, the front of the heavy stainless steel door came off. Now, Im just throwing this horror range oven which wants to cut my toes off. It is no longer repairable and I wished I never spent the $200 worth of parts to try to get it fixed. I purchased this washer to replace a failing stacked washer/dryer combo. I bought the Bosch set because the dryer is ventless and this just fits my townhouse better. First off, this washer is designed to plug into the back of the matching dryer (Only one 240V outlet is needed!) So far so good with this washer's results. It is very quiet and efficient. The matching dryer, while ventless still dries VERY well. I am surprised as Bosch's claim of only 8% slower than a vented dryer seems to be very accurate. This washer is designed to fit 10-14lbs of laundry per load and I can attest this is accurate and is efficient while washing and drying. The dryer will take some getting used to and messing around with the proper settings but once you figure it out it's a cinch! This is an absolutely GREAT product.

I assumed Bosch would be similar quality. I was sadly MISTAKEN! From day 1 I noticed it did not clean nearly as well. First we started making sure all dishware was put in perfectly aligned. Never overlapping, then we began rinsing the dishes more than we ever had in the past, then we tried changing detergent, then we put the machine to the heavy and sanitize settings, still every time we unload... I have to scrub, rinse or polish the dishes, glassware or cutlery. What a pain. The refrigerator was brand new and a near out of box failure, working less
The refrigerator was brand new and a near out of box failure, working less than 24 hours. On 4/23/15 When I first contacted Bosch, the care rep advised the first available appointment was 8 days later, May 1st between 12-5. When my husband called, frustrated, to see if there was any earlier availability for someone to come out, there was nothing in the system. The next earliest time became 4/28, where the technician found it needs a new main board and inverter. I have gone back to Goedekers Appliances, where I bought this thing asking that they pick it up, refund my money and I will buy something else. They maintain I must work through Bosch. Bosch on the other hand, called me once to promise a decision by last Friday (5/1/15) and never called me back. We have medications for family members that must be refrigerated not to mention the substantial loss in food that spoiled. None of this apparently matters. I had to threaten spreading the news, going to the press, Facebooking my story to finally get to a supervisor. I think when one has an out of box failure, it is reasonable to expect that someone will be out within the week to resolve any and all issues, whether that be a full replacement of the fridge, a loaner fridge or what have you. As this circus has taken this long with my having to stop my work day to project manage Bosch for status, what I had been asking for since 4/28/15 is either a full complete refund or a brand new Fridge. Being ignored thusly, today, I demanded a full refund from Bosch and for them to get this thing out of my kitchen by COB today. Suddenly now they can get a technician out today! I said yes, get your tech out here to take this fridge and provide me a full refund. Your time to repair this thing has passed. Get it out of my kitchen. And I hung up on ** supervisor in customer care at Bosch 800-944-2904. So he called me back, confirmed my name and hung up on me! NOW THAT IS GREAT CUSTOMER CARE!!! When I buy most anything, even a car, within 24 hours, I can get a full refund. If I buy a bad pair of pants, I get better service. Very angry.

Nexxt Dryer Model No. WTMC3300US-01 - We bought this dryer new in 2004, and it worked wonderfully. After we owned it for about 7 years, the dryer started to make a harsh grating grinding noise. We immediately stopped it. When I opened the back of the dryer, it was clear the motor retainer clip had slipped off the circular end of the motor such that the motor axle could no longer be turned easily which caused the grinding noise. I remounted the axle and retaining spring and the dryer worked correctly until about 2 weeks later it happened again. I repaired it again. A month later the same thing. After about 10 iterations of this, I ordered a new retainer clip thinking that the clip had lost its retaining ability. After 3 months, the retainer clip slipped and I repaired it again. I thought Bosch made better stuff than this.

Bosch 800 slide in electric range.. 5 burner. There is a major flaw with the self-cleaning feature. After two hours of the four hour cleaning cycle, an error code, E302, appears on the panel. This has happened both times the oven has been cleaned. The instructions from Bosch Help Line (nothing in the manual regarding this problem) are to turn off the electrical breaker when the error message appears for ten to thirty minutes (depending on the representative you are talking with), then turn the breaker back on. The oven will then complete the cleaning process (hopefully). Why would you have to turn the breaker off each time you clean the oven? This range cost $1799.10 + tax. I love my new very quiet Bosch dishwasher, but since I bought the lowest priced model I thought that was why I wasnt getting the best clean glasses and dishes. I contacted Bosch and they sent out a local repair guy. He discovered that water had been pooling under my dishwasher which could have been very damaging to my home. He ordered a complete replacement from Bosch. That was almost a month ago, and since then I have had to initiate all phone calls to see when my new dishwasher will come. Yesterday I spoke with a supervisor who was very condescending and with a sickly sweet tone told me it will be at least another 10 days before any action is taken because that is just their process, and then she cut off the conversation. I dont really know if I will get the new dishwasher after the way she abruptly cut me off.

This Bosch front loader is the quietest washing machine that I have ever owned. Unlike my previous front loader, it doesnt vibrate when it spins, it seems perfectly balanced. I also like the option of being able to use it as a dryer. Compared with separate driers, it is small, so I only recommend it as an occasional dryer. The wash/drier option is a real space saver, if you dont have enough space for two separate items.

We purchased our Bosch Dual Fuel Range about 8 years ago. We had problems with the gas igniters that was not fixed properly by the authorized service. I eventually fixed it. Recently, the stove started burning the food. The service identified the problem as a failed relay board. Bosch shipped the wrong part, so we had to wait about a month for the correct shipment and repair. On a supposedly high quality item there should not be failures like this. If there are, they should not cost an arm and a leg. The most recent repair costing close to $500.

Bought floor model from Lowes. As a Lowes employee I am well aware of Lowes deficiencies and should have expected that they would sell a returned item without the parts needed for installation. Boschs do not direct wire; they need a custom connector for the electrical connection. But I called Bosch and told them the parts were missing. Their rep took all my information and promised to send them. Then they emailed back to me (which I failed to notice) and stated their supervisor (super ** or super **) stated since it was a floor model I would have to take back their promise and I would have to pay for the parts. Did not include part numbers, how much, etc. to make it even harder for me to order. This is causing a 10 day delay in installation, etc. Just know Bosch which wants $800-2000 for a dishwasher is willing to sell their reputation for some parts revenue. Thought these Germans were smarter than that but obviously the South was the wrong place to locate their plant. Obviously I am very pissed off about this.

So... Im standing in the kitchen around 11 pm, watching a soccer game, getting ready to take the dog out. The bottom oven was on Proof at 95 making yogurt. I hear pop! pop!, look over at the 6-year old Bosch double oven. Flame is coming out of the vent at the top left of the oven. I walk over & blow on the flame. It goes out but is still smoking so I get the fire extinguisher & spray the vent a couple times. I spend the next hour or so cleaning up white powder that spread a lot further than I would have expected. Next day I call the local Bosch Certified Technician. We pull the ovens out so we can see the control boards behind the control panel at the top. Main control board has four melted relays as well as a bundle of burnt wires. Tech says he is going to recommend the oven be replaced instead of repaired, that there is probably more damage that will show up later and we will never trust this oven again. Tech takes a picture to send to the Bosch regional rep along with his report & says to call Bosch customer service. CSR says they need a copy of the original sale receipt. Of course, we cannot find it. I send the original packing sheet and call again. Different CSR says she will see if they can find it in their system & gives me the File #. Call again & CSR says they have enough info so it has been submitted to upper management, should have response in a couple days. The response: Bosch will replace the oven with the current equivalent model prorated. That means if we pay them $1649.50 (half the MSRP) they will remove the burnt oven, ship & install a new oven. I say My oven should not start on fire! Bosch should replace it with an oven that wont burn up without cost. CSR says he will submit my request. 2nd response is the same. The oven was part of a Bosch package including stove top, microwave, dishwasher, washer & dryer, refrigerator & tankless hot water heater. The control board burst into flame & apparently Bosch has no interest in finding out why. We rejected Boschs offer & purchased a different brand.

I knew Bosch was a top brand for dishwashers. The operation buttons are only visible when door is open. I like that it has various running times to use. First time I used the dishwasher, I thought it was not working but it was. It was just that quiet I will always buy Bosch. Maybe a few extra dollars but well worth it.

My Bosch dryer is about 4 years old. A little plastic/nylon 1 part broke, and now the door will not fasten. I called Bosch, expected the price to be as high as $7-$10. Surprise - the part is $30.80! I expect more from a company that charges over $1,000 for an appliance. Very disappointed in Bosch products and in Bosch customer service. Quite angry at myself for believing a top-of-the-line appliance would be top-of-the-line performance and durability.

After dealing with a strong musty smell from my Bosch dishwasher I tried cleaning it thoroughly. Eventually I noticed black organic matter dislodging from the black rubber seal (several tablespoons). After several emails (with photos) to Bosch they agreed to send a repair person. He recommended that Bosch repair the seal by replacing it. They refused. I have just returned from vacation where the home has the same dishwasher. Same smell. Same problem. Will never purchase another Bosch product. They are clearly aware of the problem.

The dishes simply do not get clean. Even simple things like coffee cups come out still stained. I end up pre-treating the dishes or handwashing especially stained items. Waste of money. I purchased the Bosch model that was around $500 because of their reputation. They sell machines in the $5000 range. These perhaps could be worth the money. This lower priced model was made to appeal to the average consumer and is very disappointing. It is a quiet machine but that wasnt necessarily important to me. I was especially impressed with the 3rd tray at the top for laying silverware horizontally. This allowed the basket on the bottom tier to be removed and seemed to provide more space. Instead, you find that the silverware simply doesnt get cleaned on the top tray. Furthermore, removal of the basket does not truly allow for that much more room. None of my saucepan lids can fit in the bottom tier unless they are loosely placed on the rim of the basket. Standard size, stainless steel and non-descript, but there are other brands just as elegant that actually clean the dishes. This dishwasher was sold with free packets of Finish. The packets never truly dissolve and you are wondering if you just washed your dishes with hot water. When speaking to a maintenance expert he explained the water doesnt get hot enough to melt the plastic and that is where you realize your energy savings. So why does Bosch promote the Finish packets? Are they that clueless about their own product?

Bought the dishwasher (SHX7PT55UC) 2 years ago from Airport Appliance. From the start, the dishwashers lower rack came off the track and the dishwasher did not clean the dishes. I had Bosch come out two times. The first time, I was informed that the installation was done backwards. They said they fixed it but its never cleaned well unless its on the most aggressive cycle. The rack still comes off the track constantly. One of the worst problems is that this dishwasher takes all color off my dishes and makes all cups totally dull. I hate it. Never again will I have anything Bosch. Bosch = BAD! Ive had Bosch repair people out twice. Plus, they dont stand by their product. Terrible customer service.

[01/02, 10:17] Neha: Highly disappointed with Bosch Product not worth other brands seems far better in India. I Bought my Bosch Refrigerator KGN56LB412/05 just 2.5 months ago in Nov 2019 and guess what the refrigerator has stopped working and the service guys are saying the modular needs to be changed. How can I accept this.. Bosch swear by the technology of its machines. What sort of Machine is this which got faulty just in 2.5 months and you people are not even replacing the machine rather just replacing a part. Never ever buy Bosch product. They are non reliable in India. The installation guy took 2 weeks to install that too post escalations. Now the fridge is faulty and for the replacement part also they dont have parts available and need time. Worst service no body picks call. What sort example Bosch is giving. If your product is faulty and and gets highlighted have the courage to call it back and dont keep playing with customer. Bosh team, have given standard answer that team will contact you but what my Refrigerator is not working from past 4 days. Its a brand new 2.5 months old Refrigerator which has collapsed completely and stopped cooling or functioning. Nobody called me. I had to call up customer care constantly just to reach service Managers who have no courtesy to respond to customers calls when there is some fault in their product. After lots of time spending on their customer care I got a call for 5 mins which was not satisfactory at all. The Manager is talking about company protocol and convincing me for repair with such a Major fault. I feel so #cheated# buying this #Bosch#Refrigerator#. The #Bosh Refrigerator# is around 70k and collapsed just in 2.5 month. The machine has stopped cooling completely and its of no use still your guys are refusing to replace it.It has been a total #nightmare# ever since I purchased this #Bosch Refrigerator#. I purchased this machine from Vijay sales Chandanagar branch and initially they sent unpacked used machine with black Marks all over dirty plug which was used from ages. I complained then they accepted and returned and told Bosch has sent this used piece they are not aware. Again they sent a broken wheel screw Refrigerator which and this was the third piece after lot of struggle we received. I took so much pain just to buy this brand #BOSCH# and to add more to my struggle this Refrigerator has collapsed and stopped cooling in just 2.5 months which was never expected from the brand I used to trust so much. Now #Bosch company# is not even replacing their faulty product and giving so many lame excuses. Trying to push faulty Bosch Refrigerator. Please stop cheating customers Bosch India. How do you expect me to settle on repairing when there is a major Machine problem in bosch Refrigerator. It has stopped cooling in just 2.5 months. Please dont push the faulty machine over to a customer rather replace your faulty Bosch Refrigerator responsibly. I am literally harassed buying Bosch product this time. This is not my first product from bosch. I have convinced my family and revamped their machine to bosch. This is what I get to show brand loyalty towards Bosch. Very, very disappointing. I have a 1.5 yrs old kid and I am without Refrigerator even after buying a premium brand on high price without any fault. It a harassing journey ever since I bought this Refrigerator.

We got our Bosch dishwasher 2 weeks ago. It was very labor intensive to set up. Too many bells and whistles. Also we did have a problem with water accumulation. We were told to use the extra shine button. This works. However we have to make sure we are here when the dishwasher is done so we can open it right away to let out the steam. So we have to take the extra step of setting the timer. Also it takes a very long time- 2 1/2 hours for the cycle to get done with the auto button and the extra shine button. Also the amount of dishes you can put in seems small. The plus here is that the dishwasher is very quiet. We got the Bosch hoping for an energy efficient machine. We do have to rinse the dishes first so that also takes up extra water. Perhaps this is a good model if you are a caterer, but cumbersome for general household use. My old broken down dishwasher did a better job of cleaning and drying in half the time. Its actually easier for me to wash my dishes by hand unless we have company.

Bought both a Bosch Hedge trimmer and a Pressure washer with some money I had been given as a present. I, like many other people, had been brainwashed into thinking that German products were the best and that by buying Bosch, Id be buying a good product. Firstly, the Hedge trimmer seemed ok, used it once or twice until the third time it seized up and refused to work. I took it back to the shop I bought it from and was given a new one. That one too, seized up and blew the RCD in the house. The internals had fallen to pieces (cheap plastic). I took that back and got a Black and Decker instead. Worked brilliantly, and still does ten years on! Pressure washer next. Used once. Seemed ok. Not brilliant but average. Used a second time and the lance fell to bit spraying me in the face!!! Cheap and nasty plastics! Took it back and was given another one. Motor failed on that one after 2 months of average usage! Bosch? CRAP!

The first time we had Bosch out for a recall issue with the door. They repaired it and re installed the dishwasher crooked and out of level. I called and was told they can schedule it for a few days later. I DID not want to take another day off work so I dealt with it myself. It was a pain! I called them a week ago re draining issues and had to wait a week for them to come out. I received an e mail from them telling me they would call the day before or the morning of the service call to narrow the time slot down a bit. This made me happy. No call yesterday or early this morning. I called them and they said they would check into it and call back. They called back and told me the service guy hurt himself and was not coming. They said not to worry, they can have someone out in a few days. This would be a second day I would have to take off work, I could have purchased another new dishwasher for the 2 days I need to take off. Do not buy Bosch appliances, terrible appliances and worse service.UPDATED ON 11/02/2015: On Oct 6th I sent in a review about how bad Bosch dishwashers are and the service was even worse. Since then they sent a service tech from an outside organization out and the service person said the line was clogged, not a dishwasher problem. I asked why the dishwasher just stopped mid cycle and would not go any further including pumping water out. He said to get rid of the air gap loop the hose up and connect it directly to the disposal and all will be fine. I did as he said and not only is it against the national code, but all is not fine. The Bosch people do not respond to my emails. DO NOT BUY BOSCH PRODUCTS UNLESS YOU ARE A **. There are many similar complaints about Bosch and their products.
