Horno Bosch no calienta
Interruptor.

When I had to replace the dishwasher that came with my home when I bought it, I wanted an excellent product and was willing to pay for it. I chose a Bosch from a local appliance dealer. While I havent had mechanical issues like many reviewers, the performance of this very expensive dishwasher is dismal. The dishes do not get clean or dry, and there is often a strange biological-type odor after the cycle runs. I will never purchase another Bosch product.

We had a new kitchen last March and decided after much research we would buy Bosch appliances, supposedly they are very reliable. Unfortunately we found them not to be! We purchased 6 appliances at a cost of around 5k. After 1 week the extractor decided to not work. I informed Bosch and they came out and repaired it although it took 2 visits, though I must say it is not easy getting them out when it suits and I ended up taking a day off work. Whilst he was there on his 2 visit I reported the fridge/freezer was not getting cold. The engineer advised switching it off and then switching it back on at the lowest level to see if that sorted it, it didnt. Another call to Bosch and another visit from an engineer. He advised that the fridge/freezer needed re-gassing. I advised him it was a brand new fridge only a month old and I wasnt prepared to accept a repair and insisted on a new one. Bosch agreed and duly delivered a new one, this meant getting my kitchen fitter back in as it was integrated, again more time off.Now 9 months in and the main oven has a problem, after putting it on the self-clean setting when it had finished we opened the door and the glass cover clip had broken. Again another call to Bosch and another day off to accommodate the arrival of the engineer. I must say I am very disappointed in first the products and secondly Boschs customer service. They are very slow in coming back to you and not very cooperative either. They have agreed to cover all the appliances for an extra year on top of their 2 year guarantee but it is the inconvenience of it that really annoys me. Lets hope the remaining 50% of the appliances stand the test of time! Great appliances though when working!

Hi, On December 2, while I was self-cleaning my oven, the glass shattered. I paid extra for an extended warranty. I contacted Bill Smith Appliances where I bought the range. I also sent an email to Bosch customer services. Yesterday, 7 days later, someone from Bill Smith came out to determine the cause of the glass shatter. He indicated that it was a fault of Bosch manufacturing and the quality of the glass that was used. Today, when we called Bill Smith, they indicated that the repair had to be approved by Bosch and then the part would be ordered.According to them, it could take an additional 2 weeks before the oven was repaired. This is unacceptable! I have already been without my oven for 1 week, so if it takes 2 more weeks, I will not have my oven working for a total of 3 weeks! At this time of the year, this is extremely inconvenient because I cannot do any of my regular Holiday baking. I also tried contact Bosch. This is a nightmare! I have called them at least 20 time. The call does not go thru and I get a busy signal. Absolutely, no one answers the phone! I really dont think there even is a person available to answer!Bosch is considered to be a premium appliance brand. However, and this range is not quality and does not meet Bosch’s reputation and the price associated with it. This glass should NEVER have shattered, especially on the first time the oven was cleaned! My expectation is that the oven could be cleaned many times and survived with the glass intact. In addition, the service to repair has too much red tape and is extremely slow resulting in great inconvenience to the customer! Please speed this repair up, so that my oven will be repaired in a few days, not 2 more weeks! This is the Holiday Season. An oven is an essential appliance! Best regards, Cindy **.

I do not have whether anyone managed to get help in France or in Cyprus for Bosch appliances? Trying to contact them, for both fridge and stove problems, to no avail. The French number is out of date and the Cypriot one does not exist. Bosch only wants to sell but does not seem to be willing to keep their customers in the long-run. Lesson duly learned and the word will be spread.

It cleans OK but lacks a good drying feature. I had a lower model previously and it worked much better than this higher end one. Silverware is still dirty at times, pans and glasses still wet. I love the light at the bottom showing its on because it is so quiet. It has a 3rd shelf, a variety of ways to arrange dishes by either leaving the tines up or down. It seems to be smaller than the older models. Very sleek, hidden controls. The light at the bottom showing it is on almost bleeds across the floor. The lower end model I had before didnt do this, just a red dot. Ive had this one exchanged and it still bleeds all over the floor. Just not up to snuff, like the older, less expensive model was.

We purchased a Bosch 800 Series HMB8050 Built-in Microwave on 6/2010. On 5/4/2011, their service contractor changed a blown fuse and again on 10/30/2013. We did not have to pay for these service calls or parts. It stopped working again 2 weeks later. On 12/09/2013, they come out and replaced the PC board, switch, and fan. That cost me $99.00 for the service call. Five days later, the glass plate would not stop turning and light would not turn off. Right now we have it unplugged. When we called their customer service department, they said that this is considered a new work order and that I would have to pay for all service charges and parts which could cost us up to $500.00. We paid $1,100 for the appliance and $250 to have our cabinet adjusted to fit the unit in the wall. In 2010, we also bought a Bosch wall oven and dishwasher and have had no problems with these appliances. This has been very frustrating, highly inconvenient, and very expensive. At this point, we are still trying to figure out what to do next. We either will have to pay to get it fixed or buy a new Bosch!

For a kitchen renovation in May 2018 I purchased Bosch oven, stove, dishwasher, hood and refrigerator. The 1st day the on/off button on the range hood broke AND the icemaker fell out of the refrigerator. They were repaired at no cost. 8 months later the refrigerator lost power. Upon calling for service we were informed there were 3 authorized dealers in Westchester, NY and we needed to wait 5 days for a repair person. This is not a rural area. Crazy that there are only 3 contracted repair companies. If we called our own repair person the warranty would become invalid and we would have to pay for the repair/part. The person came and said they needed to order a part (computer board) from out of state which would take 5 days. Whatever happened to overnight service? 10 days later the refrigerator which was 8 months old was repaired. We noticed the oven took 2x longer than a recipe required. Upon buying an in oven thermometer we determined that even after following directions to preheat, the oven did not get to the temperature it was set for even after 1 hour. The icemaker works at a snails pace. It takes 24 hours to spit out 10 cubes. I get the sense it doesnt work right. I would NEVER recommend Bosch appliances and I am VERY disappointed I purchased these products. THE WORST.

We upgraded our kitchen 5 years ago and went with Bosch because they were supposedly high quality appliances. We bought a Bosch built in oven/microwave appliance and did a custom rock wall around it. The appliance failed with 1 1/2 years. Bosch was not easy to deal with. We could not get a Bosch repair person because they refused to travel into the county side. Bosch did replace it with a slightly different size unit, so we had to adjust our wall. Now 3 years later this unit has failed. I have been put on hold for over 2 hours with no one answering the phone. I have emailed and received no response. We have wasted our money and time dealing with this company.

We used the self cleaning feature 1 time on our bottom wall oven. It exploded sending glass everywhere. I called Bosch. They were shocked and gave me a company to call to diagnose the problem. I finally heard back about a month and a half later! They were kind enough to tell me they were not going to cover it, even the repair company agreed with us. Horrible customer service!!!

The oven has had major issues and it is only 2 years old. The door has never been able to close completely shut since day one. In first year the computer unit broke. Now, beginning of second year and the ocean doesnt turn on. I will never purchase a Bosch product again. They say nothing is covered and they are not responsible for anything. Completely disgusted. Looks like I have to purchase a new stove, for it is not safe and is costing too much money in repair bills.

The convection wall oven has locked up and over heated 4 times in 6 years, once cremating a very expensive standing prime rib roast, the circuit board replaced twice. The microwave had its circuit board replaced and the dishwasher had to have its hinges repair. All on my dollar, even though the oven was just barely over 1 year old, the microwave was 2 and the dishwasher 4. Their customer service is the worst. For company that thinks it is high end it is just another overseas cheap piece of junk. Do not buy Bosch appliances.

In the last few months I bought a trimmer from Amazon and was delighted with the product, however recently the battery started to spark and the trimmer now doesn’t work. I called up the service centre 2 days ago, I spoke to the most delightful lady who was really helpful and explained to me what the process was to get the trimmer fixed. Explained that I would need to print off a courier label that will need to be taped to a box that will hold trimmer because the a third party courier will be picking it up. I explained I don’t have a printer at home and live a in a small remote village and will not be sure when I can get to a printer. She said that it’s fine and that she will send me a pre print receipt and I can print that and then call her back to sort out a delivery.I didn’t receive the email with the label so I decided to call back today to try and get it sent back to me. I dial the number and give my reference number and let the man know I’m waiting for an email. To my surprise the man on the phone was rude and unprofessional, belittling me by saying that is not the process and that I need to arrange it and then get the email to me once it’s been processed.I try to explain the situation with the printer to get the label. He said, No need for a label but you need proof of purchase in the box. I said well printing is not really an option for me because of my situation to which he gave me ‘tough luck’ attitude. Then went on to say, Well do you want to arrange it or not? I replied to enquiry can I arrange it for a future date, which he said, No. We only do it 24 hours in advance, then he was of no help and pressured me to answer like I didn’t have time to even think about whether this is an option for me. And then he went on to say, The previous person you spoke to told you the wrong information. I’ll look up who it is and have them retrained. Disgusting attitude bad mouthing your own colleagues like that. This has been one of my worst experiences with customer services given my initial interaction was one of the most pleasantest conversations. Poor customer service and I’ll be glad this is the last time I buy from you again.

Bosch 800 slide in electric range.. 5 burner. There is a major flaw with the self-cleaning feature. After two hours of the four hour cleaning cycle, an error code, E302, appears on the panel. This has happened both times the oven has been cleaned. The instructions from Bosch Help Line (nothing in the manual regarding this problem) are to turn off the electrical breaker when the error message appears for ten to thirty minutes (depending on the representative you are talking with), then turn the breaker back on. The oven will then complete the cleaning process (hopefully). Why would you have to turn the breaker off each time you clean the oven? This range cost $1799.10 + tax. A range this expensive should clean properly.

HMB5050 Bosch microwave - I remodeled my kitchen 3 years ago. Researched the big Bosch appliances and most received good reviews. The least expensive item, the microwave, I did not research. Big Mistake!!! Read the reviews, all have the same issue. Total failure between 2-3 years. Inverter board/magnetron. Repair cost $600!! So many reviews with the same issue, Bosch should have recalled this item. Instead just discontinued it. No help from customer service, although they did have me go through the trouble of sending them a bunch of stuff. In the end they offered me $25 towards a new inverter board. Im considering a small claims court option. I have enough info about the item to at least warrant a try. All my other Bosch appliances: warming drawer, double wall ovens, dishwasher, 5-burner gas cooktop, have held up well. I cook a lot! Just such a disappointing experience with the darn microwave! I wish they would help me out with a credit towards a new one! They know this thing has serious issues! Ill keep you posted!

There is a class action attorney interested... Bosch didnt recall their hazardous (bursting into flames!) dishwashers until a suit was filed. Similar issue here with brand new Bosch double convection oven--control panel and knobs became scalding the first time we used it. It took over two hours for the control panel and knobs to cool down. We keep it shut off at the breaker because the technician said it was just a glitch. Bosch told us if the technician says its safe to use your oven its safe to use your oven--but they refuse to warranty any damage to our kitchen (hello--our us!) if theres a future problem. Theyll just replace the oven--I guess after it burns down your kitchen. Make sure you report the problems on Consumer Advocacy site so others can be aware.

This Bosch wall oven is the worst purchase I have ever made. Sometimes it shuts itself off during baking. Sometimes the broiler turns on by itself during baking, causing the oven to overheat to extreme temperatures. Every computer component was replaced while under warranty; some components more than once. It was finally determined to be unrepairable by the repair person who had been here numerous times. The warranty company sent another repair company who told them that the oven did not fail during the one time that they were here, so the warranty co. told me that I had to pay the service call fee & that they would not return. Bosch refused to accept any responsibility for the product. As the extended warranty has now expired, I am now without an oven or any recourse.

My Bosch oven developed a crack in the glass door. Contacted customer services to explain the problem. They arranged for an engineer to call 4 days later between 8 & 5 pm. The engineer did not turn up till after 4.30 pm. He then confirmed a fault but said he could not fix it as he had no part. Checked on his laptop to discover the wrong part had been ordered anyway & was not booked out to any engineer. Proceeded to contact Bosch & was told a repair could not be arranged for another week. This meant I had no oven for two weeks. Really not on. In our sixties & I also provide meals for my elderly neighbour who suffers from Alzheimers. Contacted a person from the company & no help from them. One very dissatisfied customer & doubt I would buy anything again or recommend to friends. Poor after care service.

We replaced our 20 yr old Maytag with a Bosch... it arrived the first week of Jan. 2015. I never liked how my dishes fit in it.... glasses tipped over and it was hard to fit in mugs and bowls. I noticed that there was an orange greasy residue near the door hinge after each cycle. I made it a practice to clean that area every time I emptied the machine. We used the Finish Powerballs and rinse agent. Our water heater is new and the water is very hot. Then I noticed a smell when drinking from a glass. This morning there was an odor from the machine when I went to empty it... nothing in the filter... Smelled like a wet dog. Returning machine.

The seller I purchased this from initiated a customer service call and they did send out a repair person to look at the oven. He took pictures and said the cavity is unrepairable. After calling them again to get a final response they said the oven works fine and it is only cosmetic. I agree, but this is not minor cosmetic. I bought my new Bosch HBL5450UC 30 electric oven in November of 2013. Last night as I was cooking dinner, I had fully heated the oven to 400 degrees and had food baking for about 10 minutes when the interior glass door cracked and fell all over my floor (and my dog). Luckily its tempered glass, but it was a pain to clean up and scared the hell out of my dog (and me). Just called Bosch customer support and they are sending a technician out to fix it. This was not a cheap oven and I bought it because the brand is supposed to be highly reliable. I can say their customer service so far has been good, so thats something. Apparently they will either replace the glass or the door, not sure which yet. As far as I can tell, this has only been an issue for other people with running the self-clean mode (I was simply cooking in it).

Overall the stove is a good unit. However, cleaning it completely is difficult because it does not allow you to remove the power knobs to perform a complete cleaning. In addition, the heat elements are not consistently on, regardless of what setting you place them on. They will stay on for a short period and then turn off for a few minutes until such time that it feels it should come back on to that setting. The unit is a little pricey, around $800 for a cooktop. There are no frills extras on the unit, very basic in fact. You need to be careful as to what you use to clean the top or surface; very easy to remove the black coating if done with a wrong cleaner.

This wall oven - much like all appliances these days falls on its own sword - it is too complicated for its own good. This oven has a control panel with loads of stupid features, timer, Sabbath mode, clock (with year, month, date - who cares!!!) and so on. Its just an oven! Nobody needs that stuff. The control panel is the root of all thats wrong with the oven - if Bosch had just made the oven with power on off, temperature dial, light switch and convection fan on/off, Im sure itd work forever. Not now, the control panel has always been wonky, insisting on setting the time before you can turn on the oven! Now it refuses to accept time changes, thus rendering the oven inoperable. Lunacy. Im throwing this oven, not buying another Bosch.

For decades now I have used and preferred Bosch products. Recently I have had an ongoing bad experience with a Bosch dishwasher that I bought last June from Sears. Last January it abruptly stopped working. It was under warranty so I contacted Bosch as Sears does not handle warranty issues. I was told to contact a local service provider. To my regret I called Appliance Marshall repair in Cary Illinois. The idiot they sent made 2 trips and was not able to figure out how to make the warranty repairs. Instead he claimed that water leaking from the brand new custom made to accommodate my new dishwasher had somehow leaked water that damaged the dishwasher, and that it was not covered by warranty. I told him that there was never any such event, and there was no water leak anywhere. The only source of water in that location was the dishwasher. I have pictures that show the floor discolorations and that the leak came from the dishwasher itself. There is no discolouration or drip line on the floor aside from the perimeter of the unit. But since this guy used up my 2 service calls I have to pay for some 3rd party to come out and fix my dishwasher. This has been going on for over 2 months now and I still cannot use my VERY expensive Bosch dishwasher. I should add that during both visits this creep made to my home he made me very uncomfortable by asking irrelevant questions, suggesting friends for repairs to the new home I am remodeling, and really strange behaviour. I hope these guys are subject to a successful criminal background check prior to being sent into peoples homes. Anyway, prior to his deciding and informing Bosch that he could not accomplish the warranty repairs, I called and emailed Appliance Marshall repair that he never be sent to my home again since he made me so uncomfortable. Since an accurate and verifiable diagnosis of this unit was never made I feel that I have a Bosch product in my kitchen that is a fire and electrocution hazard. I just want to express my extreme dissatisfaction with Bosch.

I purchased a Bosch stove from the builder of my new home. Apparently there is a problem with the controls that turn the burners on. I was told by the Bosch rep that this is a safety problem that needs to be addressed. After weeks of trying to get this resolved and hours of waiting on hold and for a repairman I just keep getting the runaround and am living with a product that I was told by Bosch and the repairman that has a safety problem. This is the fifth Bosch product I have purchased and will never purchase another. I purchased this product new from the builder in 2017 and was told by Bosch that by checking the serial # it was produced in 2015. Why was I sold a unit that was over 2 years old?

I ordered a $3,300 Bosch double wall oven through Lowes in Feb. 2012 in preparation for our new kitchen in our new house. The oven was installed in May 2012 and I immediately noticed a defect in the surface of the interior panel of the door of the lower oven. I called Bosch for a service tech. They gave me the name of the closest person. He and his grandson came out on May 31st and said they had never seen an oven like that before. I told them not to work on it if they did not know how. They said they could put the new part on, but they didnt even know how to take the door off the lower oven. They ended up dropping it and shattering the layers of glass in the door all over my kitchen floor. I called Bosch and they said they would send the parts for a new door and have a tech from San Antonio come out to put the new door parts together. I was without an oven door for nine (9) weeks. Parts were sent separately in about six boxes. The tech from San Antonio came and got the boxes, and we took some in too. Finally, a teenage looking boy came with the so-called newly put together door. It rattled, had a sharp edge and a gap between the interior metal panel and the glass. I told him it was not right, but he insisted it was. We had to go out of town for three months, but I called the corporate secretary and told her about the poorly put together door and she said she would make sure we got a new door when we got back home in Dec. 2012. We have called repeatedly only to be told someone would be in touch with us very soon to make the necessary repairs. They now say they wont replace the door with a new one as they have been promising. They are terrible to work with and nothing is getting done. I will never buy another Bosch product and will tell anyone I meet not to buy their products.

This new oven was installed October 14th and has never worked. Bosch factory repair came out and said there were four things wrong with it and that it should be replaced. After a month of calling, emailing and waiting hours upon hours on hold, Bosch said they would not replace it but attempt to fix it. The repairman came again, again stated that it could not be repaired and that the needed panel was backordered. It is now December and the needed part is not going to be available until after the first of the year. Bosch refuses to replace the oven and does not stand behind their product. I would never buy Bosch again. You cannot get a manager on the phone and the call center reps are belligerent.

Bought a very expensive Bosch slide in range and we are extremely disappointed! First of all, the oven takes FOREVER to heat, the oven door has something happening in between the glass panels that slightly obstructs the view (happened just a year after the purchase), replaced the electrical panel which cost us $450 and now none of the burners are igniting, so well endure another repair! This is all within a five year period! Dont buy Bosch - its junk! We never had to repair our cheap Kenmores - EVER!

I have had a Bosch microwave oven for a year and a half. In that time, it has broken down twice! The first time, Bosch repaired under warranty with no problems. The second complaint, they set up a warranty service call a week out from my reporting it failed. Repair date came and went. They said they were overbooked, but would be happy to put us on the list in a week from now. I asked to be put next in line and they said, We cant inconvenience our customers like that. Im not sure what that makes me! We paid a lot of money for that microwave! I will never buy another Bosch product and will discourage everyone I know from purchasing a Bosch!

After cooking a pot roast I accidentally got pan drippings on the oven door. I wiped them up and closed the oven door and found that drippings poured inside and became trapped between the glass. This is a minor incident and I cant find anyone to help. The manufacturer had no advise on how to solve this. I called various appliance repair services and no one will help.

Washes dishes but often leaves residue. Doesnt dry the plastics. Honestly, I use the main wash; pots and pans is too hot most of the time, and the quick wash doesnt really clean them all. I dont like the arrangement of the racks. Bowls dont fit well on either level, I could help Bosch find a much better way so loading is easier. Its comparable to others in the same price range. Ours decided to fall apart after 6 years. The actual computer panel just fell off. We can use it without the panel, but it is really broken. Wont buy another Bosch.

In 2002 we purchased a Bosch dishwasher which we couldnt be happier with. At the same time we were talked into purchasing a Bosch oven which I have never liked. Temperature has always been uneven and I have needed to be sure to turn dishes during baking to cook evenly, especially baked cookies, pies and cakes. Recently, after broiling a meal, the oven just quit. The only thing working was the clock and timer. Authorized Sears service repair came out and had a lot of trouble figuring out the design schematic in the first place. He finally found a broken selector switch but was told the appliance and all repair parts have been discontinued and is unable to be repaired. An e-mail from Bosch replying to my complaint simply reiterated that the oven has been discontinued and to try ordering from discontinued parts websites. No offer to compensate or assist in locating the part, which I have been unable to find on my own. Now our home has been sold and the buyers are requesting we replace the oven, forcing us to spend upwards of $1,000 on an oven we wont be using! Buyers beware of Bosch. Customer service is useless to say the least.

I wish I had something good to say about my Bosch kitchen appliances. I redid my kitchen oven, cooktop, exhaust fan, microwave, and dishwasher with Bosch products. I lasted about a month with the dishwasher and told my husband I wasnt going to live the next five years with it. I replaced it with a Kenmore and couldnt be happier. The Bosch racks were terribly, inefficiently configured - that was my worst complaint. It smelled sour. The microwave is OK as far as doing the job, but its not handy in any way and is impossible to clean because for one thing I cant reach the back of it without a step stool. You have to put in the number of minutes and seconds every time you use it. The convection oven doesnt thrill me at all. My cookies turn out pasty and it doesnt seem to do anything any faster at any temperature.Same old oven as far as Im concerned. I bang my head on the exhaust fan whenever I try to see what is on the back burner. The burners on the cooktop are too big for the pots, except for the smallest ones. The knobs on the cooktop get very hot and are hard to adjust with a pot on them. Lets see if there is anything good I have to say. They look pretty, but the engineers who designed them have never even boiled water much less cooked a meal, and they have certainly never cleaned them or even used them.

I remodeled my kitchen in July of 2011. I got a gas stovetop and the vent is the Bosch 10282541 downdraft system. This is approx. $1,200 and has never worked for more than a month at a time. Currently, its not working, and Bosch will not repair it. I contacted Bosch in October of 2011 and they gave me a name of a company to work with. They came out, assessed the problem and after 6 weeks of no contact, no update, no fix, I had to contact Bosch and get another name of a company to fix the problem. Again, after weeks of delay, they came out and fixed it.And after 2 months, the vent broke again. They were in the process of fixing this, and again, it was delayed due to a back problem with the repairman. They did a partial fix, but then needed more repairs - and Bosch said the time was out for the year of in-warranty repair. During the first year this was installed, it was not working more than it was working. On Thanksgiving and every major holiday, I was without a fan. I contacted Bosch several times, and they promised to have a supervisor call me back, but that never happened. I have resolved to not buy Bosch appliances ever again as my fix.

DO NOT BUY BOSCH!!! My kitchen renovation required a replacement of the brand new stove. The dishwasher was replaced at least 2 times, and thereafter required service and at the present time is noisy. The refrigerator required several service calls and replacement of the ice maker, as whenever I needed ice, there was none, or the cold cuts in the refrigerator were frozen, or the vegetables in the drawer were frozen. It is too frustrating. In the beginning, Bosch was accommodating, however, there is no assistance whatsoever although I was assured they would be there to assist with the refrigerator. I have all 800 series appliances from Bosch that are all just 4 years old. Refrigerator is noisy, plastic shelves are cheap and break easily, and shelf spacing is limited - its hard to fit a gallon of milk in. Dishwasher: was very quiet and now sounds like there is a heavy storm in the kitchen when it is running. Plus the racks are weird and dont hold dishes well. You end up washing half loads all the time because otherwise plates touch each other in the rack. Double ovens: my wife sloshed some chicken drippings on the glass door when unloading it and the grease got between the glass panels. I called Bosch about the oven door issue and my warranty was up by sixty days and they refused to fix this under warranty. I have never had problems with appliances before (GE Hotpoint; Kenmore). I paid top buck for an All Bosch kitchen. Its all junk.

We looked long and hard for a new range and decided on this based upon the reviews we saw and reputation on Bosch. We use it a lot, especially for stews, pasta and other sauces etc. Unfortunately, this range cannot simmer... I wrote to Bosch and it was suggested that we buy one of their woks. Not interested in cooking pasta sauce in a wok. We bought an outdoor cast iron replacement grill and have been using that on top of the range, but we invested a lot of money for a great range and have to pile up outdoor grills so our dinner doesnt burn? Also – beware of the broil, for garlic cheese bread and most fish weve always kept the door cracked open a bit. Cant do that anymore. Open the door the broiler shuts off. This stinks. We are so disappointed.

DO NOT BUY BOSCH APPLIANCES. Lousy quality, terrible, unethical and helpless customer service, supervision and management policies. I currently own several thousand dollars of expensive Bosch appliances that are in my judgement and based on experience, poorly designed, poorly engineered, poorly fabricated with deficient materials & components and assembled with lousy craftsmanship Poorly made products indeed, contrary to other high quality Bosch tools, equipment and electronic components used in German made cars. The microwave oven [HMB5050/01] is sitting there for more than six months waiting for Bosch to authorize me to take it to a local dealer at no charge for their required service inspection. It is unacceptable, unreasonable and unethical that the microwave oven is totally useless after only a year+ and should have to be replaced under warranty even if it had expired a few months prior. Now, for whatever reason the SS refrigerator doors are rusting!!! badly [B26FT70SNS/04]. It is unreasonable and unacceptable for any 300 series quality ASME SS to rust in this day and age, it is terrible that your customer service rep argued on the 10 yr warranty first that it was the cleaning product we use [none-my wife will not use any chemicals] and then that warranty only covers rusted perforations!!! I understand manufacturing quality problems that escape inspection or lousy purchasing specifications for defective austenitic steels [industry wide problem] but expect for the manufacturer as reputable as Bosch [was] to back its products ethically and accordingly to the nameplate they carry. The ice maker doesnt work, the shelving pops out, and it cracks easily. The dishwasher’s [800 SERIES SHE68R55UC] text by the buttons has faded away and sometimes it doesn’t dry completely and to top it all, I did not get my full $1500 rebate from Bosch when I purchased all the appliances under a ridiculous excuse on some of the appliances [“we don’t recognize the serial numbers”]. Reading throughout the enormous quantity of negative internet posts it looks like this should be a recall issue. I was hopeful that Bosch would come through as you all have with other customers but they didn’t. Their policies are not applied in a consistent manner; A reviewer at Amazon said I was very pleased that Bosh arranged to have my microwave fixed, even though it was 3 years out of warranty. I encourage anyone with similar problems to contact them rather than rant and rave about the problem, give them a chance to make it right.” Well, not to me regrettably.

Purchased a dishwasher and oven in 2007. The DW was rated #1 and environmentally friendly... Its not ... It requires expensive rinse agents and it doesnt clean the dishes. The heating elemental either never worked or broke just outside of the 1-year-warranty. We had purchased the extended warranty so at least they fixed it.... But it still cost that added $150 bucks. The convection oven was also $1000 and doesnt cook several trays of cookies perfectly as advertised...not worth the money. Two years ago the main computer module fell off the back... The glue dried out that held it in place. Thankfully we jerry-rigged it back. Now the oven door wont close properly, so the oven turns itself off. We called for service and they said the part is $240 plus $150 for labor. I called customer service to see if they could help out... Nope... They blame me... I must have set something too heavy on the door.

When we remodeled our kitchen we bought all new Bosch appliances. Refrigerator needed service after 2 months of use. Circuit board needed to be replaced. Bosch refused to pay for spoiled food. Ice maker never worked right. Repair tech said we use too much ice. Microwave blew up after 2 years. Unit was replaced by Bosch but does not match the rest of my appliances. Instructed not to use the metal rack that comes with the microwave.Dishwasher needed a service call because it was making excessive noise after 3 years of use. Now, while cooking a Christmas roast, the inner glass of my 4 year old oven exploded after the oven was turned off. Glass all over the kitchen. We were stuck with a $200 repair bill. Service tech instructed us not to use the self clean feature. My husband and I are in our 60s and the appliances are not overly used. I have had more repairmen in my house in the past 4 years than I have had in 41 yrs of marriage. Bosch appliances are very expensive, overrated, and unreliable.

The dishes simply do not get clean. Even simple things like coffee cups come out still stained. I end up pre-treating the dishes or handwashing especially stained items. Waste of money. I purchased the Bosch model that was around $500 because of their reputation. They sell machines in the $5000 range. These perhaps could be worth the money. This lower priced model was made to appeal to the average consumer and is very disappointing. It is a quiet machine but that wasnt necessarily important to me. I was especially impressed with the 3rd tray at the top for laying silverware horizontally. This allowed the basket on the bottom tier to be removed and seemed to provide more space. Instead, you find that the silverware simply doesnt get cleaned on the top tray. Furthermore, removal of the basket does not truly allow for that much more room. None of my saucepan lids can fit in the bottom tier unless they are loosely placed on the rim of the basket. Standard size, stainless steel and non-descript, but there are other brands just as elegant that actually clean the dishes. This dishwasher was sold with free packets of Finish. The packets never truly dissolve and you are wondering if you just washed your dishes with hot water. When speaking to a maintenance expert he explained the water doesnt get hot enough to melt the plastic and that is where you realize your energy savings. So why does Bosch promote the Finish packets? Are they that clueless about their own product?

I called on 11/6 in the morning and was told the exchange had been approved and I would have to wait 5-7 business days for that to be arranged. In the afternoon on 11/6 a customer service rep called me and advised me the exchange was approved and I would have to wait 7-10 business days.On 11/14/18 I called because I had not heard from them and was told that the approval had not been sent to the exchange department and was assured it was sent through that day. Now they tell me I will have to wait another 7-14 days to find out what model the exchange is approved for and when that may take place. Customer service reps are rude and do not provide their name. We purchased a Bosch dishwasher from Furniture & Appliance Mart in Madison, WI. This was delivered on 9/16/15 by them. The appliance was professionally installed by our own installer. We ate supper that night & then turned on the dishwasher. It went through one part of the cycle & started making a strange sound that just kept going. We looked at it & saw that we had an E-15 error. This means there is a water leak in the bottom pan. We tried to override & shut this off & could not, so we shut the dishwasher off at the breaker. We contacted Bosch Customer Service & they told us to do something we did not understand. They told us to call back in the morning. We called back the next morning (Thurs) at 8am. They told us Akrit would service this for us & would call us back within 24 hours. I waited around all day Friday & when they didnt call by 4pm, I called Akrit myself. They told me that Bosch never contacted them, but, after searching through something on-line, they found my service call. I told them the problem & Ashley contacted the tech directly & set me up by noon on Monday. The tech showed up on time on Monday & checked out the dishwasher. He did a thorough job & found a small leak in the left rear welded seam. Thats when the problems started. I have a list of times & people I spoke to, to no avail at Bosch customer service. Each one telling me that someone would get back to me within 24 hours. (Joke!) That never, ever happened once! Finally, by 2pm on Tuesday afternoon, we were able to talk to someone at Bosch to set a file (claim) with Bosch. They received a copy of our purchase & a copy of what the tech wrote & told us theyd get back to us within 24 hours. We called again on Wednesday morning. After my husband was told that the person in customer service would not get back to us until at least Thursday morning, we decided to take matters into our own hands. He went into the store of purchase, spoke to the manager, who contacted customer service at their corporate office. They apologized to us & set up a delivery, set-up and new dishwasher & are dealing with Bosch themselves. Bosch Customer Service, in my opinion, does not exist. By the way, our 2nd new dishwasher was delivered, setup & installed Friday afternoon & works wonderfully! This was done only because Appliance & Furniture Mart stepped in & took care of us, their customer. Bosch called us back around 4pm Friday, by the way, 3 days after we set up the claim.

In late 2015, we bought a refrigerator (33 in. W 24.8 cu. ft. French Door Refrigerator in Stainless Steel with Icemaker) and a microwave/oven combo (stainless steel 30 Inch Wide 4.6 Cu. Ft. Electric Built-In Combination Oven with 1.6 Cu. Ft. Microwave and True European Convection Lower Oven). We chose the Bosch brand based on reputation, longevity, performance, and design.Unfortunately, neither of these products has performed well considering they are both 3 years old. The refrigerator completely stopped working and had a large build up of frost on the back wall of the freezer wall. A service technician with Hagedorn’s Appliances fixed this problem by calling a Bosch technician to learn the control panel and plugs stopped working. The technician commented that this is a rare issue and was surprised the appliance was a Bosch due to the reputation. We were charged $688.79 to fix this issue. The microwave control panel is dim and we are unable to see what buttons we are pushing. The technician from Hagedorn’s said this is a realistic issue and fixable problem to the tune of $350.00. We have not scheduled this repair at this time. The third item we bought from Bosch were $775 dishwashers. We bought 2 of these. To say we love the dishwasher better than the microwave and refrigerator would be true; however we must stop short of saying these items are ‘exceptional’ in any way. The doors seemed ‘warped’ and don’t shut well all the time. The washing capabilities are fair (sometimes leaves marks) and the time to complete is crazy long 2.5 hours, even close to that on ‘speed’ mode. However the washing quality is worse. We will give it credit for being quiet, that it is, well done there. We really have just had a hard time and these products are not the ‘show pieces’ we had thought we bought just 3 short years ago. It will be hard for us to consider Bosch for the price and performance.

We own a Wall oven and microwave combo - HBLP751UC. The oven part over the years would just freeze that is none of the controls would work till the breaker was switched on and off. Now the microwave switches are broken and parts are not available for 2-3 weeks or longer. So the whole unit is out of action for that long. When purchasing I should have done my due diligence and checked but these are made in China and I was hoping for German reliability. I could have done much better at a cheaper price. Now I am stuck with this without service from Bosch. When I asked Bosch for service they said they do not have service people in my area and to use someone in the market who is certified. I ordered a display circuit board for my Bosch oven. The display magically fixed itself by the time the part arrived, so I called Bosch to a coordinate return. My problem is with Boschs mandatory 25% restocking fee, and with the information I had to provide in order to secure my timely refund. The circuit board, the box in which it arrived in I never opened, cost $106. I paid $26.50 to restock a circuit board thats probably 1/8 thick, and 6 x 3 in size. Theres no effort to put this unused part back on the shelf. But it is what it is, and Bosch makes that clear in their return policy. While exorbitant, it wasnt a surprise. I just thought thered be more flexibility. After all, Im not returning a refrigerator. So as I moved through the return process, I had to provide a model number for the oven. If I didnt, the refunds would be delayed. I asked the representative why that mattered, and that it should have no bearing on my return. They have the part number, so that should be enough. I also commented that theyre charging me 25% to restock, so maybe they should figure that out. Representative was very polite, but said several times that her hands were tied. In the end, I provided much more information than is required to return the part, especially when considering theyre charging $25 to restock a circuit board whose connection to my return will be irrelevant when they sell it again. If Bosch is this complex and penalizing for their returns, I hate to think what happens when I have an actual problem with their products.

Bosch 1000 rpm 6kg 15 Prog Classixx. I like Bosch products because they last well. Theyre expensive to buy, compared with other brands, but cheaper in the long run (and therefore also better environmentally). The reviews for this product were good as well, which is always a big factor for me. I wanted a general purpose model, which is why I chose this one. I didnt need anything special as I dont do any specialist washing (very dirty or extra large items, for example). Ive had this washing machine since October 2004. I dont know whether or not this model of the Bosch washing machine range still exists, but I would recommend it simply because the machine has always performed well and washed satisfactorily, its about average cost to run (slightly better than that, actually) and its never broken down in the eleven plus years Ive had it.

We purchased our Bosch Dual Fuel Range about 8 years ago. We had problems with the gas igniters that was not fixed properly by the authorized service. I eventually fixed it. Recently, the stove started burning the food. The service identified the problem as a failed relay board. Bosch shipped the wrong part, so we had to wait about a month for the correct shipment and repair. On a supposedly high quality item there should not be failures like this. If there are, they should not cost an arm and a leg. The most recent repair costing close to $500.

Our Bosch 800 gas slide-in range was purchased in late 2019, installed in February 2020 and the igniter failed in October 2021. One would hope that a new $2200 range would last longer than a year and a half before failing. We would have had to wait 30 days for service at hundreds of dollars cost, so I bought a new igniter and installed it so that we would have a working oven. Bosch was unwilling to reimburse us for the $105 igniter. I dont recommend Bosch.

On that day the engineer came and look at the oven and said he will need to order the parts from Germany and that he will be back. On the 3rd of May 2018 another engineer came with the parts that the first engineer have order and said the parts were wrong that he need to go back and order the right parts for the oven and he starting asking me for receipt for my oven. I am so upset because why will an engineer that visited my house will order the wrong parts. This show that your engineers are not capable of doing their job. We just remodeled our kitchen. We really liked the Bosch Benchmark oven(s), the standard 30, the speed micro, and the steam oven, along with a warming drawer. We embraced their advertising showing these appliances all lined up along a wall, or lined up as well as one above another. Their literature touts the fact that they are all identical in appearance, backed up by the photos they display. We ordered our ovens (as well as the induction cooktop) last December for January delivery dates. Our cabinet maker had the ovens delivered to their location to be sure they built the cabinets to fit the ovens and warming drawer perfectly. We opted for a horizontal install as well as vertically - the standard oven top left with the speed micro to its right lined up horizontally. Below the standard oven is our warming drawer. Below the speed micro is the steam oven perfectly lined up vertically with the micro and horizontally with the standard oven and warming drawer. Then the electricians came out and wired them in. Immediately I noticed the number displays on the standard oven and the steam oven have large numbers in a very nice font, but the microwave has the old fashioned typical pixelated microwave numbers that I have on my old $85 dollar unit! I also noticed that the stainless steel panel that houses the controls are different in their construction! The microwave version looks cheaper! Bosch has spent a lot of money on the advertising concentrating on the type of install I have - lining your ovens up horizontally and vertically - they proudly state that they are identical! They are not! Through my appliance dealer I contacted Bosch hoping that, perhaps, since my micro was built in February 2014 there might be a later run that matched. There isnt. Their answer was, Well, if you dont like it, just turn off the display on the microwave! I am floored by this attitude! It seems quite reasonable to me to expect this very simple part of the construction of these ovens to match!! Our install arrangement even makes it look worse by putting the odd one between the better ones! Well, I am stuck with them now since we had custom cabinetry built to house them. All I can do is pass on the word. Thank you for reading this.

I purchased and installed the Bosch HMB8050/HBL8750 stacked microwave/convection oven and built-in oven pair in 2011. The microwave/convection oven was great in terms of roasting small items and we used it very frequently. That is until the convection part of the oven did not deliver the preset temperature and was making rattling noises. The repair technician determined that it was the drive shaft of the fan is broken causing temperature not distributing properly. We went to all the appliance parts suppliers and could not find the part as it has been discontinued. I also contacted Bosch directly, after being re-directed to 3 or 4 different numbers and confusion with the part number, they said no part was available. We tried to replace the microwave/convection oven with another Bosch but the model is discontinued. New models are now all flushed with the cabinets which means my existing cabinet has to be rebuilt and will look out of place with the existing built-in oven. Found a different make microwave/convection oven ($700) that may fits in the existing cut out but discovered that the Bosch microwave/convection oven and built-in oven shared the same power source!! The Bosch representative recommended replacing the complete system!!! So, because of a $180 part that Bosch discontinued will require me to take out a working microwave AND a perfectly working built-in oven and put in another Bosch $5,000 to $7, 000 combination oven in?? NO WAY! Will I buy another Bosch again? NO WAY! It is absolutely ridiculous to discontinue a part barely 10 years after a product in the market. Shame on Bosch.

I have had my electric glass cooktop since 2010 and have been very pleased. Never had a repair. It has an integrated Power Start feature which heats the element quickly to the highest power and then resets it to the continuous cooking setting picked. I guess like a gas stove would be. Another great feature is the Auto Chef that works with a pan that came with it, on one element. This sensor controls the temp of the pan, heating up only when necessary and prevents burning, but does do frying!

We installed this new oven last year and decided to run the self cleaning option. We did not pull the telescopic oven tray out prior to running the cleaning option. Apparently the high heat ruined the parts involved with the telescopic action. It would have been nice to have had a warning label on the tray or perhaps the dealer might have mentioned this. So... Im standing in the kitchen around 11 pm, watching a soccer game, getting ready to take the dog out. The bottom oven was on Proof at 95 making yogurt. I hear pop! pop!, look over at the 6-year old Bosch double oven. Flame is coming out of the vent at the top left of the oven. I walk over & blow on the flame. It goes out but is still smoking so I get the fire extinguisher & spray the vent a couple times. I spend the next hour or so cleaning up white powder that spread a lot further than I would have expected. Next day I call the local Bosch Certified Technician. We pull the ovens out so we can see the control boards behind the control panel at the top. Main control board has four melted relays as well as a bundle of burnt wires. Tech says he is going to recommend the oven be replaced instead of repaired, that there is probably more damage that will show up later and we will never trust this oven again. Tech takes a picture to send to the Bosch regional rep along with his report & says to call Bosch customer service. CSR says they need a copy of the original sale receipt. Of course, we cannot find it. I send the original packing sheet and call again. Different CSR says she will see if they can find it in their system & gives me the File #. Call again & CSR says they have enough info so it has been submitted to upper management, should have response in a couple days. The response: Bosch will replace the oven with the current equivalent model prorated. That means if we pay them $1649.50 (half the MSRP) they will remove the burnt oven, ship & install a new oven. I say My oven should not start on fire! Bosch should replace it with an oven that wont burn up without cost. CSR says he will submit my request. 2nd response is the same. The oven was part of a Bosch package including stove top, microwave, dishwasher, washer & dryer, refrigerator & tankless hot water heater. The control board burst into flame & apparently Bosch has no interest in finding out why. We rejected Boschs offer & purchased a different brand.

We purchased 3 Bosch appliances when we built our house 6 years ago. The dishwasher and microwave are up to par. All appliances are working. However, our 30 BOSCH gas range is experiencing rust spots on the lower drawer and around the main door. The enamel has come off part of the top of the range. I know from past experience with another dishwasher in my previous custom home, which Sears stood behind, that had rust spots on the door panel. The repairman actually said its a knock off from China and this is not stainless steel. I will say that my opinion is this is the same problem with the Bosch oven. Most people know that magnets do not stick to stainless steel. Well, start testing! Magnet sticks to my stainless steel dishwasher, microwave, range door and range lower drawer which means the appliances are NOT stainless steel. The magnet does not stick to my LG refrigerator which is 10 years old so it is true stainless steel. Since BOSCH and the store I purchase it from advertised these products are stainless steel, I paid for stainless steel. Customer service is not up to par. The customer service rep and a supervisor talked about my business to my cleaning lady as she called them to defend her use of cleaning products as BOSCH tech said my cleaning products must contain bleach. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB, Attorney General as I feel this is false advertisement. and to BOSCH, I am glad you recorded the conversation with my cleaning lady as you had no right to speak with her about my business and to make her an offer on my range of 20% off. I purchased my first Bosch appliance (dishwasher) on 6/1/17 after making note of an Installation Rebate offer from Bosch via a Bosch Visa Prepaid Card. The stated purchase date was required to be between 5/17/17 and 6/7/17, which it was. I immediately completed the rebate form even though the latest required postmark must be by 7/7/17 (over a month away). They promised reimbursement within 8 weeks and gave a website and phone number to check its status. After 4 1/2 weeks I received a typed response from Bosch saying that they were unable to process the request because it did not meet the cash register receipt requirement (not dated within the time period designated for this offer). I immediately contacted Lowes, where I purchased the dishwasher. I spoke with the manager on duty and showed him the copies of the rebated offer, register receipt, response from Bosch, etc. The manager on duty phoned Bosch rebates directly and verified that the date on the receipt was within the required date range. He told me that Bosch claimed that the month of 6 looked like a 5. We found this to be strange because it was obvious to both of us that it was a 6 for June. It was/could also be verified by the date on my charge card. If one person was in doubt, due to poor eyesight, they could of easily asked someone else or used a magnifying glass; which shouldnt of been necessary. Anyway, the Lowes manager spoke with Bosch that it was the correct date, and that they would immediately process the rebate. The Lowes manager said I should receive it within 2 weeks. After 2 1/2 weeks I checked their website for my rebate status. It recognized my information and gave me a tracking number; plus stated I had to allow more time. Two more weeks later, I had still not received it (4 1/2 weeks after the Lowes managers phone call, and 9 weeks after purchase). I checked the website again for status. This time it never recognized my name/address (even though I had also completed warranty information on 6/20/17 after 6/18/17 installation). It never recognized my tracking number that it gave me 2 weeks earlier; and when I called their phone number, it never recognized my phone number. They had now lost all of my information (or so they claimed). I (we) both thought their first excuse was inexcusable, but possibly a mistake; but after the 2nd 4 1/2 week period it gives every appearance of being a scam (intentional). I no longer believe they intend to honor their rebate offers, and just expect most consumers to forget about it, not care about it, neglect to make copies before sent in, etc.; and just pocket the savings (this time for $145).

WALL OVEN: I bought Bosch Benchmark appliances for my home. I am now on the 4th repair for the wall oven (exact same problem all 4 times) in a year and still Bosch hasnt figured out theres a problem with this oven. All 4 times when the oven stopped working I was without the use of my oven for 20-25 days waiting for repairmen, parts or be ordered, etc. 80 days in total so far in less than a year that I have not had the use of my oven, and counting. AND to make matters worse, the only time I use this oven is when I have guests, the rest of the time for myself and my husband to make small meals we use the smaller speed oven. So, 4 times in less than a year there has been multiple guests in my home for dinner parties, and the oven has stopped working. Add all those people up and youll see how many people have walked away with a bad opinion about Bosch appliances. Not to mention that at each dinner, because my oven stopped working, I had to resort to ordering in for my guests and all the fresh fish and chicken etc that I had bought to prepare for my guests had to be frozen because I knew Id be without my oven for another 20-25 days before I could bake it.SPEED OVEN: I also have the Bosch benchmark speed oven, that too has had one repair in less than 6 months of being installed, same problem as what I had on the wall oven. Thankfully the speed oven got repaired and seems to have been working fine ever since (knock on wood). COOKTOP: I also have a Bosch induction cooktop. No problems as of yet with that. Im keeping my fingers crossed but Im scared to death because my trust in Bosch is so very low.I have told everyone that comes in my home and raves about my gorgeous kitchen renovation DO NOT EVER BUY BOSCH. And most of them have seen it first hand now how bad the appliances are because theyve all been at my home at one time or another in the past year and seen the oven fail in front of their own eyes. So Ive got lots of witnesses and sadly Bosch has lots of people who know to never buy their appliances. 2 of the families who were at my house in the past year and saw the wall oven stop working, have now done their own kitchen renovations and both of them made a choice NOT to buy Bosch because they said they would not take the chance seeing all the problem I had with mine.I have kept a detailed journal of all my repairs, dates, time, conversations, videos, etc. Because I am fairly certain that I will end up suing the retailer and/or Bosch for breach of warranty/contract and for not disclosing material facts prior to my purchase. But because its still under extended warranty Im going to keep letting them repair it as many times as they want, and I will keep my journal and history so that shortly before the warranty wears out I will then sue and force them to give me a full refund... I cannot accept a replacement oven because Bosch does not have another wall oven that could be installed in my kitchen without me doing a kitchen reno again (which is not going to happen).

Bosch delays all service calls for multiple weeks before coming and when the product broke 2 days after being fixed (supposedly), We had to wait again. They conveniently wont replace and then want no responsibility. This is the only review I have ever written and sadly I am unable to use my oven at all. This is very difficult as I have a family. 3,000 dollars is a lot of money to have a decorative storage unit. Please go with another company that will respect the consumer. I honestly dont know how this company is in business as we were dealing with the senior customer service representative, Courtney **, who completely disregarded the fact that this product was dysfunctional since day one. This company needs to reevaluate customer service and acknowledge that sometimes a product is faulty and you as a business need to stand behind your product.

A £500+ Bosch microwave oven (model HMT85GL53B) purchased only 2 years ago
A £500+ Bosch microwave oven (model HMT85GL53B) purchased only 2 years ago broke just 1 month after the 2 year warranty expired - and Bosch made no offer to help. You would expect such an expensive appliance to last well after the warranty period! We spent the extra money on the kitchen appliances as we thought that Bosch had a good reputation...and there we are! We are appalled at the quality of Bosch appliances and very unhappy with the way Bosch handled it. We wouldnt recommend the microwave / combi oven model HMT85GL53B to anyone, as it has broken so quickly!

We purchased the Bosch microwave/speed oven (800 series) with an extended warranty along with several other Bosch appliances during a kitchen remodel in 2016. During the two years we have owned the appliances, the microwave has broken down three times. Boschs customer service has been atrocious! Many weeks waiting for an appointment and then more time waiting for parts and subsequent visits from a repairman. Most recently, the control panel was completely replaced on 8/17/18. This has been a horrible experience made worse today when I discovered during a baby shower that the Bosch warming drawer installed under the oven units had been damaged during the repair to the microwave! Never again will I recommend or purchase a Bosch product.

Absolutely love this stove. I use the convection more than anything because it seems to cook more quickly and food tastes better on this function. The stove top definitely heats up even on low knobs so be careful! Always start stovetop on lower settings especially if you have expensive pots and pans! When you are cooking in oven, be sure to press Kitchen Timer and not Oven Timer or the oven will automatically turn off after your done cooking which is nice but I always use Kitchen Timer button so that I don’t have to keep reheating the oven if I am cooking more than one dish or if I need to continue to time items on stove top. The depth for dishes is larger than my last stove but not as wide no complaints but just depends on what size pans your using. I love it!

We got a real nice deal from Lowes on a Bosch electric range. We had been looking all over for a new one during a slight remodel. Saw the range for approx. half price - clearance - and jumped on it... Our budget (or interest) really did not include thinking high-end. The range is great, with all the bells and whistles we wouldnt have gotten otherwise - quick heating ribbon elements, convection, roasting, and warming oven features, nice black glass finish. Plus, it gets light use from us two empty-nesters. Then about 2 months ago, the glass panel on the oven door just plain fell off! (How can anyone make something that just sits there and then falls apart!?) Luckily, it didnt break. Upon investigation, wifey found a screw in the storage drawer but there are 3 screw holes holding it on via bottom brackets. Looked to me as though the other 2 screws had never been put in. Not only I, but my PhD Mechanical Engineer son-in-law, could not figure out how to get the panel back on... After fooling with it for 2 weeks, I finally bit the bullet and pretty much disassembled the entire oven door to get it back together. During this ordeal, the plastic strip on the top of the door also broke. It now awaits my precision application of super glue to fix. Havent done that yet just because Im sick of fooling with the thing. I will say that during this deal, I called the Bosch hotline for some expert advice, and the guy I spoke to was as friendly and compassionate as any of his breed I have ever dealt with. But even though we both had the same web page in front of us, he cheerfully admitted he was clueless as to how to get the panel back on. All he could suggest was replacing the entire oven door, even though he agreed that that was overkill for the problem which compared to the Bosch dishwasher we bought about a year and a half ago (i.e., now out of warranty)... well, I only thought I knew what an appliance problem was until I met the Bosch SHE3AR5XUC!! It will not drain completely. The detergent will not dispense. The dishes will not dry, let alone sanitize. It is noisy... It is a **. According to my web-based research, I can take it apart and see if something is stuck in the pump impeller, and take more apart and replace or somehow fix the detergent dispenser... Oh, yeah, thats me. Like so many other posters here, we felt pretty good about ourselves having a kitchen with so-called high end appliances. Instead, we feel as though we got suckered into thinking life would be a breeze with the wonderful Bosch stuff in our all-electric dream kitchen. I intend over the next few days to visit the big-box retailer we got our D/W from and state that the only remedy is total replacement. I doubt they will go for that. I will then go to another big-boxer and buy a new D/W. My advice to anyone who has read this far and is considering getting a Bosch anything... your life is too short and your time too valuable to roll the Bosch dice.

We moved into a new house with new bosch appliances: fridge, stovetop, speed oven and oven. After only TWO years of use, the speed oven digital display is dimming and will need to be replaced with a part for $150, plus labor. When I contacted Bosch, they would not replace the part. The words on the stovetop are already peeling off (Front, Back, etc.) and the buttons on the icemaker are finicky and need to be caressed to work. The dishwasher doesnt clean any better than our old appliances, the stovetop takes forever to boil and the stainless steel finishes are so hard to get clean. I cant make applesauce on the stovetop because the lowest possible setting is too high and burns it (this may be a reflection on using gas instead of electric, weve never had gas before.) I will never intentionally buy Bosch appliances ever again! Our old cheaper appliances were much more reliable. Not worth the cost!

I bought all Bosch appliances for my kitchen (except for the fridge) including washer and dryer. Right from the start I had problems with my oven and the dishwasher did not clean well. I got service in and they basically said to use another dish soap. Then my oven totally did not work and died on us for Christmas dinner. In a nutshell customer service was awful. I was calling in Canada then got re-routed to the States for Customer Service. Once there I had some action. But my oven does not work well. Since then my dishwasher racks are all broken. Buying Bosch was the worst choice - never again.

We purchased a Bosch oven two years ago. It now does not work. We live 110 miles from the nearest authorized repair. Our local appliance repair person has charged us $200.00 to fix our unit by replacing items until the unit works. Now he does not call us. I talked with Bosch customer service and they advised me that I need to provide them with the receipts of when I purchased the oven. So I would need to go through my 2013 records to find the receipt, then they would pay for an appliance repair person to come out. I have already spent 4 hours dealing with this problem. All I can say is I thought I was buying a quality unit that would take my wife and I into our retirement years. My mistake. Bosch is a highly overrated product. I will never buy another Bosch unit.

Horrible situation with Bosch. My oven has been broken now for 8 months. My Bosch oven is 2 yrs old. I’ve paid almost $600 in failed repairs through a Bosch recommended repair company. Bosch offered me a new oven at a $250 cost to me. I think I’ve paid enough. I wrote to the company’s president.. no response. So disappointing.
