I at first liked this washer then several problems. One, the moldy smell inside required the door to be left open to avoid a stench. I got used to that, though constantly had to wipe the gaskets out and clean the inside door and gaskets. Then a couple of years ago, 8 years after I bought it, the housing near the dials developed a small crack. I called customer service and received no satisfaction.I called again in August this year, obtained a file number for my complaint, but they wanted me to get a Bosch repair person and pay them to diagnose the problem, which was evident from the picture below, as a crack. This was not due to operator error or misuse. We are a retired couple, dont take in laundry (!) and it is kept on the first living floor of our heated and air conditioned house. I have seen other complaints of these issues online, so I know were not alone. I wish I had kept my 29 year old Maytag and replaced the pump instead of buying this set. Dont buy Bosch!

I do like my new dishwasher - cleans great and is quiet but there is a smell. This is not food related, or deposit related since it is only 2 weeks old. It is obviously from the plastic molds used for the racks. I am unsure if this is a deal breaker yet and send it back. I have no alternative one to get. This one has everything I want except this smell is bad. You would think Bosch would fix this long ago, sadly not.

We purchased our 800 Series from Lowes. I wish I had returned it. The wheels on the lower rack were poorly designed (product manager should be fired). If there are any dishes in the lower rack, you cannot pull the rack out. Its frustrating to struggle with this everyday, and with the price we paid, I really expected a better dishwasher. I have called customer service three times. They have been no help - instead, they wanted to send out a service person. (Can you fix bad design?) The last agent said, Oh, we have a fix for that now - has anyone offered to send you the fat wheels. The wheels were not wider, and they were not a fix. The rack constantly gets rolls off track and gets stuck inside the dishwasher. So - if youre going to purchase any Bosch at all - you might want to try putting a few plates into the bottom rack and see if it pulls out. This one bad design feature overshadows the third rack for silverware and any other nifty features. If you cannot get the most important design right, the rest do not matter. Oh, and you must thoroughly prewash your dishes as this 800 Series cannot do the job on its own.

Just bought a new Bosch one week ago. Terrible installation. The machine was left with lots of water in it. And a HORRIBLE SMELL! I was also dismayed by the extremely small amount of dishes that could be loaded due to the small spaces between the tines and the direction of them. I could not get anywhere near the same load in as my great whirlpool prior to this. I usually do one load a week or less. I filled the washer to try as the manual says the product comes with a smell!! Really! Could the installer or salesman explain this or say what to do about it? Then after the load it was still wet inside and still stinks. Ive had it and its only been 5 days.

This is the third Bosch dishwasher I have owned. They have all been quiet, efficient, reliable and well priced for a better quality brand. Racks are graphite, so no rusting, and interior is stainless steel for quiet operation. I would not think about purchasing any other brand now.

I bought a Bosch - 7kg Top load washing machine 9 months back from Croma (Bangalore). Due to some technical issues, we have raised a complaint and the technician identified the issue is with the panel and needs to be replaced. As there was no update after 5 days I have called both Bosch & Croma customer care to check further on this. Unfortunately, they also did not have many updates regarding that and they said they will escalate to a higher level. Now it has been 30 days without any progress or update. I have sent multiple emails and called multiple times to customer care but no use. I was using a Whirlpool washing machine for last 8 years and I was getting good service from that vendor. I really regret to choose the Bosch washing machine this time. Friends, If you are in Bangalore (I am not sure about the service in other parts of India) better avoid buying Bosch as its service is pathetic. After all this frustration, either you need to wash your clothes with your own hands or need to buy a backup Washing machine as well!

From the first day of unwrapping the dishwasher it had an awkward smell. After initiating use the smell worsened which led me to calling Bosch since it was under warranty, I explained that there was a really bad smell and while cleaning the filter notice that a small amount of water remained after each use. I assumed there was a drainage problem hence keeping water which would cause the smell. The customer rep was rude from the beginning and initially told me there was nothing they could do, after hashing it out she confirmed it was under warranty and scheduled a technician to come out. The tech checked it said it was running perfectly and that it is normal for a small amount of water to remain at the bottom. He told me to use liquid instead of powder or the small pacs. I have bought dishwasher cleaner, rinsed it with vinegar, Clorox and still it smells awful. I have another home and many friends with dishwashers and despite any reason they do not smell as much as mine... I am so unhappy. I hate using it, secondly it does not clean well. I am going to try to inquire about a refund. I will never buy a Bosch product of any kind for any of my homes. My Bosch dishwasher was purchased from Best Buy.

I have had my Bosch dishwasher for two years now. Last October (after having it for 14 months) I finally figured out what was on my dishes when I removed them from the dishwasher after running them through the cycle. IT WAS MOLD. I called Bosch, I wrote to Bosch - finally they agreed to send someone out to check out my dishwasher for which I would be responsible for paying the service fee. At first I agreed and then phoned them back and said I would not pay it as I felt the dishwasher was still considered new. They did eventually send someone out - a 19 year old boy who walked into the house knowing what my problem was. He said this happens a lot because people dont bother to clean out the food trap at the bottom of the dishwasher and the accumulating food is causing the mold. Hmmm. Well, he took my dishwasher apart and surprise! There was nothing in the trap. I did not bother to tell him that I thoroughly rinse all the dishes/silver before placing it in the dishwasher. He did not know what to say so he just said he would get back in touch with Bosch. He said possible it needed a new control board. Well after going back and forth with Bosch - and tossing out ALL my dishes, silver and glassware due to it being infected with the black mold - I was told to run it through a clean cycle using a solution. I did this and was afraid to use my dishwasher in case it came back... Well, this morning when I unloaded the dishwasher - ITS BACK! Im not even going to try again - I will go out this weekend and buy a different brand. Now my microwave that I bought at the same time - has gotten steam under the glass on the front door for the longest time. Noticed a few months ago that the plastic around the outside of the window is cracked in two places. Will I ever purchase another Bosch appliance? NEVER!

I bought a washer & dryer and paid more than usual expecting a great quality product. To my dismay the washer completely broke down (meaning the repairman said the only thing that did not need replacing was the shell of the washer). The washer turned 5 yrs old 10/15. I purchased the 4 yr extended warranty, so it had expired. There is only my daughter and myself, so my laundry is light. When I contacted Bosch they put me off for a month before reviewing my file and then today they said the best they could do for me was give me a 20% discount on Bosch parts! The Bosch for washer & dryer with stands were $3000. I laughed. I would not recommend anyone ever buy a Bosch product because they do not stand behind it.

We bought a Bosch dishwasher she68t55uc mid 2014. It has been great but all of a sudden last month December 2016, the dishwasher started making a squealing sound. We called and a repair man came. He chipped my counter which I had to fix, he had to break the door hinge because it was fine before he came, but after coming twice to repair it, the squeal is still here. Said it was the drain pump, so they replaced it, but it still squeals. They admit they are not familiar with working on Bosch but Lowes picked them to work on it. Not sure why. So Lowes will replace as under extended warranty, but I hope to pick a kitchen aid instead. I had a Kenmore elite for 18 yrs and it was still working when I replaced it with the Bosch, but it had become too noisy over the years. But it was a great one!! Wish I had bought another Kenmore.

In 2002 we purchased a Bosch dishwasher which we couldnt be happier with. At the same time we were talked into purchasing a Bosch oven which I have never liked. Temperature has always been uneven and I have needed to be sure to turn dishes during baking to cook evenly, especially baked cookies, pies and cakes. Recently, after broiling a meal, the oven just quit. The only thing working was the clock and timer. Authorized Sears service repair came out and had a lot of trouble figuring out the design schematic in the first place. He finally found a broken selector switch but was told the appliance and all repair parts have been discontinued and is unable to be repaired. An e-mail from Bosch replying to my complaint simply reiterated that the oven has been discontinued and to try ordering from discontinued parts websites. No offer to compensate or assist in locating the part, which I have been unable to find on my own. Now our home has been sold and the buyers are requesting we replace the oven, forcing us to spend upwards of $1,000 on an oven we wont be using! Buyers beware of Bosch. Customer service is useless to say the least.

When we remodeled our kitchen we bought all new Bosch appliances. Refrigerator needed service after 2 months of use. Circuit board needed to be replaced. Bosch refused to pay for spoiled food. Ice maker never worked right. Repair tech said we use too much ice. Microwave blew up after 2 years. Unit was replaced by Bosch but does not match the rest of my appliances. Instructed not to use the metal rack that comes with the microwave.Dishwasher needed a service call because it was making excessive noise after 3 years of use. Now, while cooking a Christmas roast, the inner glass of my 4 year old oven exploded after the oven was turned off. Glass all over the kitchen. We were stuck with a $200 repair bill. Service tech instructed us not to use the self clean feature. My husband and I are in our 60s and the appliances are not overly used. I have had more repairmen in my house in the past 4 years than I have had in 41 yrs of marriage. Bosch appliances are very expensive, overrated, and unreliable.

I bought my dishwasher in May of 2011, and it worked fine until October 2012 when it decided to spring a leak. Due to my work schedule, it took a couple of weeks to schedule and receive the new parts for the dishwasher. The part that did arrive was broken but the technician was able to make it work. Everything has gone worked since, well, until yesterday. Another leak and the dishwasher is now out of warranty. I looked at the original estimate for repair and realized that the cost of repair would nearly be half of a new dishwasher. I am convinced I bought a bad dishwasher and I am just having some bad luck. I think I will try a different brand. Just like a Chevy. I cant stand them and find them to have reliability issues. I am sure the same goes with dishwashers.

We called Bosch when our 2 1/2 year old dishwasher broke. Their service dept. had a 2 week wait so they recommended authorized service providers with Mr. Appliance at the top of the list. We called Mr. Appliance and told them of the error code displayed and requested service for a broken drain pump. They came, charged us $170 and didnt bring the part. Then they sent a $600 quote to fix the unit. I called Bosch because at this point I could buy a new dishwasher. After some back and forth they offered to pay for the part and Id pay for the labor. Mr. Appliance hadnt broken out the quote, Bosch said the part was $36. Bosch offered to call Mr. Appliance which they did but to no avail. Still a $600 job.Bosch charges a set fee ($129) then another $30 per 15 minutes. They had no information about how long it should take to install the part. They offered me 2 additional authorized repair companies. One was out of business and the other had horrendous reviews. I called an unauthorized company in my neighborhood with excellent reviews and they will do the job for $198 plus the part. Bosch refused to sell me the part or sell it to the unauthorized repair company.First of all, the unit should not break after 2 years of use by empty nesters who barely use the dishwasher. They should make a better quality product and stand by their brand with more than a free part. Secondly, Bosch needs to review their requirements for authorizing repair companies. They should consider pricing and reviews to hold these companies accountable in exchange for giving them so much business. It should not cost more than the price of a new unit to replace a common part. I will not buy another Bosch!

I bought this dishwasher based on customer reviews. I like the washing performance of this dishwasher, and the lighted controls…especially that it tells me how many minutes are left on the chosen cycle and when it is finished. It is also very quiet. There is one thing that frustrates me and that is the design of the lower rack. The tines are placed so that it can accommodate 12 place settings (according to the instruction manual). Few, if any, people have need for this on a daily basis. What is needed for families is capacity for place settings combined with serving bowls, mixing bowls, and cooking utensils. However, the tines are positioned so that this is very difficult and requires running the dishwasher more frequently or doing more hand washing. (My previous dishwasher was much more accommodating of a variety of dishes and pans.)I wrote a letter to the manufacturer with my concerns and asked if there is an alternative bottom rack. I got a callback but was unavailable. The message was that they would call back. Never happened. I called the number in the instruction book twice, each time the representative said she would have another person call me back...never happened. I thought Bosch was a top of the line brand and expected better service than this. At this point I would never recommend this brand to anyone. Model SHEM63W56N/13.

Bosch delays all service calls for multiple weeks before coming and when the product broke 2 days after being fixed (supposedly), We had to wait again. They conveniently wont replace and then want no responsibility. This is the only review I have ever written and sadly I am unable to use my oven at all. This is very difficult as I have a family. 3,000 dollars is a lot of money to have a decorative storage unit. Please go with another company that will respect the consumer. I honestly dont know how this company is in business as we were dealing with the senior customer service representative, Courtney **, who completely disregarded the fact that this product was dysfunctional since day one. This company needs to reevaluate customer service and acknowledge that sometimes a product is faulty and you as a business need to stand behind your product.

I purchased a Bosch Dishwasher (i.e. total cost $$857.98) which was installed in Dec 2017. About 3 weeks ago I was receiving error messages as well as the machine skipping cycles and stopped. Given that one of the error messages was E24 the Bosch authorized repairer wanted to order a pump for the machine to save me from minimizing the number of trips he would need to be made. May I add the service charge would have been $180, labor and parts extra given that the pump was outside of the warranty. After ordering the pump, I receive a message that the pump is in. But of course it was the wrong pump. I will not bore you with the details of the story but after a lengthy conversation, I told this company to NOT come at all and will find another Bosch authorized dealer. Well, I did, he promised to come, waited for him and he never showed up, did not call even though I left several voice mails, etc. Bosch kept saying we need a diagnosis but it sure is difficult if there own people do not show up as promised or have excuses about the wrong pump being ordered, etc.I provided all the detailed information that Bosch wanted. This evening I received an email from them telling me a decision had been. I doubt if this case was escalated to management as I requested. I called Bosch (25 minute wait) to find out what the decision would be given that they emailed me and said decisions cannot be provided by email or voicemail. The Bosch rep said they were going to do a big favor and as a 1-time courtesy provide the parts but I still would be responsible for the service call and labor. BTW, the issue in all likelihood is a control panel which has a 5-year warranty. Or in other words they did nothing except to ensure that I will never purchase a Bosch appliance again. If there would have been a pump issue the retail price is $30.05. Such an offer from Bosch. Bosch service providers are few and far between. And from my experience they are totally incompetent. Bosch sold me a lemon of a dishwasher and has failed to provide any type of concern for their customer.

For a kitchen renovation in May 2018 I purchased Bosch oven, stove, dishwasher, hood and refrigerator. The 1st day the on/off button on the range hood broke AND the icemaker fell out of the refrigerator. They were repaired at no cost. 8 months later the refrigerator lost power. Upon calling for service we were informed there were 3 authorized dealers in Westchester, NY and we needed to wait 5 days for a repair person. This is not a rural area. Crazy that there are only 3 contracted repair companies. If we called our own repair person the warranty would become invalid and we would have to pay for the repair/part. The person came and said they needed to order a part (computer board) from out of state which would take 5 days. Whatever happened to overnight service? 10 days later the refrigerator which was 8 months old was repaired. We noticed the oven took 2x longer than a recipe required. Upon buying an in oven thermometer we determined that even after following directions to preheat, the oven did not get to the temperature it was set for even after 1 hour. The icemaker works at a snails pace. It takes 24 hours to spit out 10 cubes. I get the sense it doesnt work right. I would NEVER recommend Bosch appliances and I am VERY disappointed I purchased these products. THE WORST.

I purchased a Bosch dishwasher in January of 2014. Three months later my stainless steel silverware began to rust and glasses became cloudy. I read the manual and made some adjustment to the Jet Dry dispenser, but it made no difference. Lowes sent out two different repairmen and they could find nothing wrong. I showed them the silverware and glasses and they called Bosch. Bosch made recommendations that did not work.I contacted Bosch and they told me in order to return the dishwasher I needed the original receipt. I couldnt find it and Lowes eventually found it in their records and sent it on to Bosch. It took about 6 months working with Bosch to get to this point. It also involved several store managers. Once all the paperwork had been turned in I heard nothing from Bosch. Several weeks passed and I finally called. They told me the dishwasher would not be replaced. Instead, Lowes replaced the dishwasher. Thank you Lowes!I found the company EXTREMELY difficult to work with. I think they knew from the beginning they were not going to replace the dishwasher, but they had Lowes and me jump all kinds of hoops anyhow. I do not recommend purchasing a Bosch dishwasher. The only thing I could figure out was that something had been left inside the dishwasher causing the problem. Bosch denied this and said it couldnt happen. I replaced the Bosch with a KitchenAid. It works great and is made in America.

Since may 29-2014, I been calling them to be responsible for the defective item and his response was to pay an extra 1013 more and will get the same that we have right now. After we paid 2200 dollars... Are you kidding? It is a letter from Bosch the we are not going to accept. I hope someone can do something from us and thanks to take couples minutes to read our concerns about Bosch and please make sure you pass this to your friends and family.

The Bosch HMV5053U01 is beautifully designed. It was selected to match my induction range. Relatively easy to use, not too many buttons, though how the defrost works is not that intuitive. Not sure of the price/value as I had bought it over a year ago, just remember it was not inexpensive.

I have been the owner of Kenmore dishwashers since 1978. Today I had to have one service for technical issues the door latch for the first time ever. It was purchased in July 2015, not two years old. It is a Bosch by Kenmore, the door latch keeps popping during the wash cycle, and you have to keep closing it. Very irritating. Of course there is only a one year warranty on it, and they refuse to cover expenses. I called Bosch and they really dont care. Poor attitude. Don’t buy Bosch products. THIS IS THE ONLY TIME FOR ME. WE LEARN BY OUR MISTAKES. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

Bought a Bosch dishwasher. Found what I wanted and went to Lowes. Made it clear I didnt want the third rack. Said I couldnt get the one I wanted in white, it only came in stainless steel so we went up a model. Looked it up and said I couldnt get that one in white so we went up another model. So they delivered and installed it and when I looked it had a third rack. We use tall glasses and I am use to my Maytag having room for tall glasses and big cookie sheets and even gallon jugs. They dont fit so everything but glasses get washed by hand. Sorry its quiet, new so no problems but doing dishes by hand.

I purchased a $1500.00 Bosch Stove HEIP054C-01 5 years ago. Within a year I had to have the panel replaced with the Stove knobs on it because the burner markings and high to low settings decals/markings had worn off. Now after 4 years these markings have worn off again. I feel that this is a fire hazard as it’s difficult to tell which burner I am turning on and often get the wrong one. I called Bosch and they said that they don’t have replacement decals like a lot of other appliance companies and that it would cost $500.00 to replace the whole panel again.I am truly disappointed that they don’t have a cheaper, easier fix. I will not be replacing the panel as it is too expensive. When I bought the stove I also bought a Bosch microwave, fridge and dishwasher. I can honestly say that I won’t be buying Bosch again for my next appliances. They are beautiful but really not great for Value for money and replacement parts which shouldn’t be needed after only 4 years are extremely expensive. Please stay away from this model and save yourself some headaches.

It’s been a year since my ice maker has stopped working. I called them to schedule a repair, I paid $1500 for a new part, the repair guy gets here, completely breaks my freezer. Now I need to throw away all my produce and wait another 2 weeks until someone gets here to fix what he broke. I year later...my ice maker is still not fixed, I have had Bosch technicians come here once a month with a new part they promised would fix my problem. (I just want to clarify that every time they are supposed to come here I take a days off of work to wait for them.) Last time Mr ** The technician gets here he simply looks at the fridge for 5 mins and says the ice maker is broken and there is nothing he can do, and he leaves - I took another day off from work to wait for him.I call Bosch customer service again (I already remember their number by heart. We have a relationship for a year now.) asking for my money back for the parts I paid for that were completely unnecessary, I also notice that my door is breaking and it needs fixing. Customer Service tells me that they need to send another technician to make sure that there really isn’t anything that they can do and then they can only refund me the money back and that they will order new parts for my door that is breaking. This was three weeks ago. The day the technician is supposed to arrive I get a call in the morning, just add that I did take the day off from work again to wait for them, I got a call in the morning from the technician telling me that the part for the door never arrived and that they need to make an appointment for another three weeks, Let me just add that my door is really about to fall off and I will not have a fridge if it does.I never write bad reviews and I’m not an angry person but Bosch has treated me so badly and so unfairly, Their customer service is The worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. They will not try and get you earlier appointments all they say is that they are sorry and that there’s nothing we can do. The only place that I can complain is here and I don’t know what else to do and now I have to wait another two weeks for somebody to come here and fix my fridge which will never get fixed at this point and I will never get my money back for all the parts that I paid for in the past year to fix my fridge. I have lost all hope and I know at least to never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever buy any Bosch appliances ever again just to not have to deal with customer service and technicians. Please be warned!!!

A brand new dishwasher bought from a local major appliance store installed
A brand new dishwasher bought from a local major appliance store installed by a licensed contractor in a kitchen remodel project malfunctioned just outside the regular warranty period from Bosch. Bosch solicited me through email and regular mail of an extended warranty which I accepted. Prior to signing up, I actually spoke directly to a real person/sales representative of the company about the eligibility for repairs under the extended warranty. I was told yes very affirmatively. They took my money and then advised that I could not call in my first repair service for the first month. So I waited patiently and finally called in for repairs. They denied the warranty service by citing pre-existing condition. Im mad. I tried to explain that it is a condition which had deteriorated over time (washing cycle not completing in different stages) which I had explained to the sales rep from the beginning. Bosch misled me, took my money and made me wait a month to make the first claim only to deny it. Im so disgusted with the whole process that I just want my money back and take my business elsewhere or buy a new dishwasher from another manufacturer. They are not giving my money back so Im venting my frustration. Im so upset that I have to deal with dirty dishes for a month when I could have just go out and buy a new dishwasher. The dishwasher is an expensive model: SHP65TL5UC. I regretted that I also purchased other major kitchen appliances from this company. Dont buy Bosch!!!

We bought a washer dryer for ÂŁ599 just a little over 2 years ago. It broke down in the 1st year, and it has been repaired by a Bosch engineer, as it was still under the manufacturer warranty. 1 month after the 2 years warranty has expired, it broke down again. Each time the problem was a broken drum. I called Bosch customer service complaining about the fact that an appliance I paid that amount of money for, has only lasted for 2 years. I was told that since the washing machine is out of the warranty, theres nothing they can do. I would have to pick up the fee for repairs. Id rather buy a new washing machine, instead of paying for the repair of one which obviously is very low quality. That is not something I was expecting from a brand like Bosch, but certainly they dont care about their reputation. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM BOSCH BRAND AGAIN as their products are really bad and their customer service is even worse. I do not recommend Bosch. Stay well away from the Bosch brand, as their products are not worth the money you have to pay for it.

Dishwasher is three years old. The door does not latch. If is held shut by a magnet. If the machine vibrates at all, the door opens and the machine stops. You have to go in and push the door shut, again. Sometimes, it goes through the entire cycle down to 1 minute, and then runs forever, constantly reheating the water. I cannot leave the house when the machine is on. I have had the serviceman out 4 times, and he refuses to come out any more. Boschs solution to my problem? Use less soap. Never again. It is a piece of crap - and expensive, too.

We purchased a Bosch dishwasher 1 year ago. Within a month the door started popping open during the wash cycle. I called Bosch customer service and they set up a repair. They know there is a problem so they have a replacement kit called a latch stiffener. Well everything worked fine for the summer months when we return from our six months in Florida. I use the dishwasher another month and the same things started happening. I called customer service and talk to the same woman that I had spoken to last summer. She is very nice and very helpful and tried her damnedest to get me a replacement dishwasher. The company told her since there had only been one repair they could not replace the dishwasher that I would have to have a second repair done on it. So that is scheduled for next week but I also had her note in my account that this is the second repair on the same dishwasher for the same problem as I am now out of warranty. There are only two of us in the house so the dishwasher does not get run that often. When it does work it cleans the dishes nicely and it is very quiet. I agree the racks are not the greatest and they do fall off the track and you have to look them up to try to get them back on but that I can deal with. Running 8 minutes and having the door pop open is not acceptable.

Purchased our Bosch Dishwasher in January 2020 and now, 6 1/2 months later it needs repair. Contacted Bosch Customer service to have an approved company come in for repairs and was given three local contacts. One did not service my area. The other told me it would take 4 weeks for someone to come out and service our dishwasher. I notified customer service of this poor response but was told that they could nothing do about this. They blamed it on Covid. Called my Bosch authorized dealer, who is not a Bosch authorized repair service, but who installed my dishwasher and they were able to put me on the schedule within 24 hours. The drawback: I got to pay and my warranty is no longer in effect. So warning to all: Bosch does not take care of their customers and their attitude towards their customers was borderline rude, extremely dismissive and smug. An all-around horrible experience.

WFMC3200UC Washer NEXXT series - I believe this must be the first front loader Bosch made. If Id known at the time of purchase I NEVER wouldve paid the major bucks I paid. I think its 7 years old. My Mother has a top loader for 22 years. Beautiful, I think we replaced one part on the thing all these years. Anyway, I despise this washer. Its too small, takes almost 2 hours to cycle AND smells like mold. I have the top & back panels off to remove the out take drain tube which is visibly covered (inside) in black mold. Problem is the way its put together is like no other Bosch washer. Two weeks ago I found a video online which showed how to remove the thing and today I go to my bookmarks and NO VIDEO. Im about to throw myself on the floor and have a complete meltdown. WTF happened to the video? Ive looked for thirty minutes all over internet to no avail! Its a servicing video I know that and those are hard to come by. Help me lawd! Thought I might feel better writing this however I feel like upchucking. Thanks anyway. P.S. My wife and I bought a new home in January. It came with Bosch appliances. Within a few weeks the dishwasher started leaking a lot of water. I called Bosch and they sent a repairman out to check it. The repairman decided that it couldnt be fixed and would require a new dishwasher. He called Bosch and they said they needed proof of home purchase, which we gave them. Although my wife filled out all of the warranty information when we bought the house. The information that we sent to Bosch showed our names, address, closing date and the information on the house. We didnt include any information that had social security #s or financial information. Bosch continues to ask for the full 40 pages of my closing information and we refuse. Again, financial information, social security #s etc. are really none of their business. We have talked to them and asked them to tell us what else we can send them specifically and they cant tell us however, my dishwasher continues to leak on my floor and new cabinets and Bosch continues to say that they need 48 hrs. to run this by their bosses. The bottom line is that this is a 5-month old appliance that is bad and Bosch continues to play games to avoid honoring their own warranty. Why did we fill out the warranty cards in the first place if they cant use them. I will never recommend Bosch appliances to anyone. Not because we have a problem with their product. Anything can happen. But their desire to avoid repairing or replacing their defective product shows me that they have no desire to do the right thing.

I have been a longtime owner of Bosch appliances in every home we own with no issues in the past 20 years. I down sized and moved into a new home. I decided to change out the refrigerator first. I love the new refrigerator with French doors and one big drawer below. Upon delivery my appliance was DOA. It tripped the dedicated breaker in the garage. We plugged it into other outlets in the kitchen to check to see if it was the outlet. They took it away, the rep was very arrogant saying that it was a problem with our electric in our new home. The distributor asked if we could have an electrician check out. The electrician said that we would need to something that he can not and would not do for us. We needed to put an old style non-ARC breaker in for that dedicated outlet. The retailer brought it back on Tuesday the following week after my husband installed a Non-ARC required by code breaker. It works. So we needed to break the electrical code to keep this appliance. The electrician said that their refrigerator and DWs have that issue. In the country they are made, they do not replicate the electrical supply with breakers like we have in the US for testing and this problem is known by the reps, distributors, and the company. I would love to see them do something about it. We have an electrical code for a reason. ARCs have been required since about 2013 or so. You would think they would have corrected this by now. All of my other homes were not new- last three so it was not an issue with the breakers. You choose.

Long story short, I bought a 500 series Bosch and after 2 months it started malfunctioning. I must say Bosch Customer Services did try to fix it by replacing two computers and a pump, but it still malfunctioned. They finally replaced it after numerous calls, service calls and emails. I bought a different brand. Bosch did call me back unprompted by a call from me to see how things were going and even after it was replaced, I got a call from one of the managers about problems with a dealer refund. I found them to at least care about their customer to go out of the way to assist me. As for the product and I have had Boschs before, it was a lemon. Previous bosch dishwashers were great and my niece even has the same one I had but hers worked beautifully. We are/were 20-year loyal Bosch dishwasher owners. They run quietly and efficiently. But in early March, 2018 we opened the door and the top panel (facia) came off! We tried snapping it back in, then called our handyman. He found that several plastic parts had broken off or were missing from the panel. So we called Bosch to order a new facia panel. It was just under $100 w/ shipping! First send was broken, 2nd send was missing a section, and the 3rd send was sent with a threat that if we didn’t have this handled by an authorized Bosch service person, our warranty would be cancelled. Our handyman is $50 per call, the Bosch “expert” approximately twice that! So, when our trusted handyman began putting it altogether, he found that each little part of the facia needed to be bought separately! The shiny handle clipped in, the cover for the power button which allowed access to the button, and the rocker buttons all had to be ordered SEPARATELY!!! This is now late April and finally we have ended our nightmare with Bosch customer service. Needless to say, this ends our 20-year relationship with Bosch products made with same cheap plastic as any other brand. VERY disappointing!

Bought a Bosch SMV46G00G dishwasher, thinking Bosch would be good. My previous cheaper SMEG dishwasher, could be switched to ECO setting and left to run its long cycle whilst I went off to bed. Result? Clean dry dishes in the morning. So I did the same with my expensive Bosch washer. Result? Soaking wet dishes and machine in the morning. Ah! but it saves you energy costs, say Bosch. Thats no good to me if it doesnt do the job, is it? I could take it all down to the local stream and save even more energy and money. I expected a machine that was capable of switch and forget. Instead I have to wait until its finished before I can open the door and let it dry overnight. Poor, stupid design. Why not have a mechanism to open the door automatically after a drying time? Too difficult? I think not, it was standard design on USA machines. Recommendation? Dont buy.

I would give a negative start if it was possible. My Bosch microwave began turning on by itself. I purchased it with a paid warranty. I called Bosch in early February and they set up a time for someone to fix it in early March. The Bosch repairmen came and said he fixed it, however, the issue reappeared moments after he left. I called back. They set up another appointment and the repairmen did not show up when he was supposed to (of course they never gave me any notice). I called back and set up another appointment. Of course, the repairmen never showed up. I called Bosch and complained to a manager (who was the rudest manager I ever spoke with). He set up another appointment. This time the repairmen actually showed up with the parts but then informed me that the parts they ordered wont fix the issue. So they had to order different parts. So I set up another appointment for today. Surprise surprise, the Bosch repairmen never showed up (again with no notice). In summary, during the past 5 months, I have set up 5 appointments and have had 3 no shows (without any notice). I have complained to Bosch US, Bosch UK, and Lowes. I filed a formal written complaint to Lowes. I have spent over 15 hours calling Bosch. I have complained to 4 managers to no avail. 2 managers were supposed to call me back but they didnt. I am at a loss for what to do. Now all I want is my warranty money back or a new microwave. Can anyone help me????

Dishwasher: was very quiet and now sounds like there is a heavy storm in the kitchen when it is running. Plus the racks are weird and dont hold dishes well. You end up washing half loads all the time because otherwise plates touch each other in the rack. Double ovens: my wife sloshed some chicken drippings on the glass door when unloading it and the grease got between the glass panels. I called Bosch about the oven door issue and my warranty was up by sixty days and they refused to fix this under warranty. I have never had problems with appliances before (GE Hotpoint; Kenmore). I have to wash my silverware by hand as I would never let anyone eat off them like they are when I take them out of the washer. They are good stainless steel. When you pull out the bottom rack, it falls off the track. Silverware container takes up too much space. My other one was in the door, it was a less expensive washer and I had it for 13 years and was still working, but I thought that I would get new appliances. Well good thing that I didnt buy all Bosch. I am not going to recommend this washer to anyone. I am very disappointed with this product.

After spending $1,700 on the initial unit, an extended warranty, multiple repairmen visits and two magnetrons, our 14-month-old Bosch microwave caught on fire and is now deemed irreparable. Extended warranty people say we have to collect from Bosch. Bosch says we have to collect from extended warranty. Getting the run around from them both. We had this microwave installed for just over one year when we remodeled our kitchen, including creating a custom built-in location for this microwave. We now have a giant hole in our kitchen island and have been fighting with Bosch and the warranty people for months.Thankfully this diabolical machine didnt catch our entire house on fire. But nonetheless this product is a HUGE safety hazard and it should be pulled off the market (and poor suckers like those of us who purchased this machine should be compensated). We have filed a complaint with the Texas Attorney General and asked to be included in a Class Action lawsuit that was recently filed. Protect your home and family -- do not buy a drawer microwave from Bosch!!

Monday, November 06, 2017, I received by mail the Bosch Important Safety Recall Notice - Bosch Dishwashers letter regarding potential fire hazard. The dishwasher power cord can overheat and it was suggested to STOP using the appliance immediately if you have one of the affected models. I located my model and serial number and found that my dishwasher is affected by the 2017 recall expansion! I immediately went to the Bosch dishwasher recall registration Web page. Based on the information provided and my address, I received a list (only one agency name was listed) of authorized service agents that would inspect and repair my dishwasher at no charge, along with a reference number. So far, so good! On that very same day, I contacted the repair agency, gave them the information requested and was told they will order the part, and when the part is received they will call to schedule the repair appointment, and told me that it would probably be by the end of the week. By the end of the business week, Friday, November 10, 2017, they never called. On Tuesday, November 14, 2017, AGAIN I called Bosch authorized service agent to ask for update on repair request. I was told the power cord is now expected to arrive on Thursday, November 16, 2017, and the repair will be scheduled for Friday, November 17, 2017, between 8AM - 5PM. I was also told the repairman will call me the day before, on Thursday, November 16, 2017, to narrow down the time within a two hour window for Fridays repair. On Friday, November 17, 2017, AGAIN I called Bosch authorized service agent since their repairman was a No Call, No Show. I was told that the repair has been scheduled for Tuesday, November 21, 2017 and that the part is still not in but should be in today or Monday the 20th. And, the repairman will call me on Monday, November, 20, 2017 with the time window for the Tuesday, November 21, 2017 repair. Maelynn, the service agent apologized for not calling to inform me and was not sure who even changed the repair schedule from November 16th to the 21st. Well, it is now Wednesday, November 22, 2017 and I still have NO dishwasher repaired, NO date for a repair, UNABLE to use the dishwasher, Thanksgiving is tomorrow and all the dirty dinner dishes will have to be washed the old fashioned way...by hand. Thanks Bosch for a less than stellar customer service response from your authorized service agency technicians.

Have had the refrigerator two months and am happy with it. It's so quiet I almost don't notice when it's running even when I'm in the kitchen. The lighting is good on the interior, adequate in the freezer although the bottom drawer is a little dim. Love the layout of the upper space and flexibility with retractable shelves. Items are easy to see and accessible. The depth of door shelves are great with the exception of the two bottom shelves which are so narrow that they will only accommodate small items, (like hot sauce). As other reviewers have noted, the ice maker is painfully slow so plan ahead. I find the ice maker has a very high pitched hum that is annoying so I make ice then turn the ice maker off until needing ice again which works for us. Love the controls, very easy to use and read and the refrigerator responds quickly to a change in temperature. I'm really picky, did my research before buying, and am really happy with this refrigerator.

Request you to give me my booked product. 2. Is this is a way your representative treat your customers. 3. I have said him that I will escalate this matter then his response was that this will not at all help me by writing to anyone. 4. Worried about my decision of buying Bosch machine... We just turned away our second delivery of a Lowes special order 300 series Bosch dishwasher due to damage. Really... is it too much to ask for an indented face on your $700.00 dishwasher these days? Yes, it is being shipped to Hawaii to the tune of a 6-8 week delivery time and many people have handled it in the transportation process, but I believe much has to do with how Bosch is packaging the item with only thick cardboard frame pieces on the 4 ends, styrofoam corners on the top and thick plastic wrap holding it all together. There is no protection to the face or sides. For an international company, you would think they would be more conscientious about how they protect their product before it gets to the end user. Will have to think seriously before I order a third one!

This new oven was installed October 14th and has never worked. Bosch factory repair came out and said there were four things wrong with it and that it should be replaced. After a month of calling, emailing and waiting hours upon hours on hold, Bosch said they would not replace it but attempt to fix it. The repairman came again, again stated that it could not be repaired and that the needed panel was backordered. It is now December and the needed part is not going to be available until after the first of the year. Bosch refuses to replace the oven and does not stand behind their product. I would never buy Bosch again. You cannot get a manager on the phone and the call center reps are belligerent.

Bosch Axxis Electric Dryer- For the first 2 years the dryer worked very well. I cleaned the lint filter after every use. Apparently there is a design flaw where the lint can blow inside the machine & build up next to the heating element. The first time, the safety shutoff tripped & when I checked why the machine wasnt on anymore, discovered a burning smell. For $120 the nice service man cleaned it out & showed me the burned lint. One year later the same thing happened but the lint hadnt started burning yet. I had it cleaned out & the service guy said it would need to be cleaned every year. At $120 for 15 minutes of work, this is not tenable. One year later (today) I smelled an acrid odor. I turned off the dryer; the safety shutoff did not work this time. The smoke coming out of the dryer set off the buildings fire alarm. Im not spending another penny on this poorly designed machine, only to have it burn down my building and putting several families on the street. Bosch admits its not a good thing that the lint can easily reach the heating element, but wont admit it is a design flaw. They advise yearly servicing. I will replace the dryer with a different brand; never buying a Bosch dryer again.

My Bosch 800 series dishwasher was delivered and installed on January 6, 20
My Bosch 800 series dishwasher was delivered and installed on January 6, 2016. Thirty-eight days later, on February 11, 2016, the mid-level spray arm fell off during a cycle, landing among the dishes on the bottom rack. Our first clue that something was amiss: Soap dispenser sprayed soap all over but it was not rinsed off the dishes. Chunks remained in the dispenser as well. Second clue, I could not see the spray arm where it used to be!!! We finagled the drawer out and off, flipped it over and reattached the spray arm to its central anchor spot. It was not as hard as we thought to reattach it, thank goodness, but does this mean it will fall off easily again?Very discouraging for a BRAND NEW APPLIANCE that was not even run on a daily basis. We are only two in this household and we do not fill the DW daily. I am concerned about the LONG running times and about the frequency of having to refill the rinse aid, even after adjusting it to be a lighter amount dispensing each time. Add to this the prospect of inner parts falling off and I have to say I am worried that my $899.99 investment was not a wise move.Additionally, I discovered through a review on another site that the model I chose was a special application. Meaning it is shorter for counters that are below the standard height. I wish the store salesman would have told me that. This explains why the installer had to laboriously jack up the corners to raise the appliance to its highest position in order for it to be hidden under the lip of the kitchen counter, but there is a space at the bottom now.

Technician informed us that drain pump got damaged and needs to be replaced with a new pump which will be fixed on 08-02-2016. From that day to till date, we had no information on the status from Service Center. We kept calling several times and asking the update on the status. They simply gave some stupid reasons and kept ignoring our calls. Finally, they gave us the number ** of senior authority from Bosch Services who had kept awaiting us by telling that he will call and update on the status, and kept postponing the dates without giving any info on the status.I have lost my patience following up the poor and reckless customer service, as it wasted my time as well as money on the name of the brand just for a spare part. If this is the situation of service in the warranty period, then I just cant imagine what will it be after that period. I also pity on customer service who cannot give any information on the address of their Service Center. Washing machine is a very important home appliance in a daily life and we cannot waste any more time on following up people from one side with no response on the opposite side which delayed and disturbed routine planned schedule. I was purchased washing machine Bosch 8 kg- fully automatic- front load (WAT24463IN) from Amazon in 14 April 19 and installed in 27 April 19. First, I start from installation, at the time of installation water inlet pipe connector to tap worth Rs. 350 charged by Bosch service eng. and water tap also changed. Machine installation delayed due to shortage of length of wire plug to attach electric board from machine, purchase 350 Rs extension box due to shortage of length in plug wire. During first usage outlet water washed away in whole room, due to shortage of water outlet pipe, again purchased 250 Rs additional pipe. After usage within 04 month on dated 17 Jul 19 the power control board of machine got worse (fuse) & machine stop working. Within 04-month machine got damaged & covered the same in warranty usage, means there is no guarantee of product after warranty period of 2 years. After asking to service eng. of Bosch he is telling you want to purchase stabilizer for same, again purchased stabilizer of Rs 4000 from Bosch service eng. The compatibility of product not good, after purchase again you want to pay extra more than 5000+ for other unnecessary things. After call to Amazon customer care for extended warranty they were telling within 90 days you want purchase extended warranty for product from booking date. It means they knows the product quality to aware for providing 90 days for extended warranty period, 2 years warranty for cover & after that usage of customer for profit. This is the asset for customer by investing 30 to 40 thousand, they played after 2 years by taking much more charges for part replacement & breakdowns, this is worst strategy of Bosch to deal with customers.

We bought a Bosch gas range four years ago. I did the research and consumer reports said it was the best. Within the year, the front door wouldnt close completely. We had the company we bought it from come and fix it; it was still under the one-year warranty that time. Life was wonderful, except that the front knobs were a little loose from the heat that had been escaping with the door not closed. When the new hinges failed (again, less than a year after being installed), I called the store again, and had them come back and do it again. They gave me a hefty bill for it, which I disputed, since it was only a matter of months since it had been fixed. The one-year warranty was only from the date of purchase, so I paid it.Last summer, the door started its migration from the frame once again so, being the clever ** that I am, I propped the door shut with a kitchen chair. We really struggled to shut it enough for Thanksgiving dinner, and hadnt used it since. Our Vermont Castings gas grill was our primary cooking device--everything from apple pie to ziti--ever since.I bit the bullet last month and had them come again. They did half the work as they had to order a door repair kit (obviously, we are not the first to experience this). Now, with the new door kit and replacement knobs, we are looking forward to another 10 months (hopefully) of having an oven. Our broiler hasnt worked since it was fixed, but I havent complained about it because I cant afford to.

We replaced another brand refrigerator after only four years because of constant ice maker repairs. We shopped long and hard for another one and were told by most salesmen and our own online research that the number one refrigerator repair for all brands was through-the- door ice makers. We also needed a counter depth model, not many out there. We're on our second Bosch dishwasher now and couldn't be happier with it. So, the Bosch brand and in freezer bin type ice maker sold us. Best Buy is now into the appliance business big time, we got it there and were very happy with the sales person and their delivery/installation. This really is a well designed product. We are replacing a 22 Cu ft. side by side and actually get more food in this model and more importantly, can find it. The refrigerator was delivered two months ago and our only problem so far is of course, the ice maker. The ice maker replenishment time hasn't been a problem for us as we are a couple only and the ice bin holds a lot of ice, and after no ice half of the time with our old refrigerator, the sound of ice dropping into the bin was most welcome, but the taste of the ice cubes (stale water or soapy like taste) has been. We had a Bosch repairman check and verify the problem. He replaced the inlet valve a week ago, as according to him, it is the only metal part that could be causing the taste and that was all he could do. One week later we still have the stale taste, it may not be the refrigerator, but we are using the same copper connecting tubing that our old refrigerator used, and our city water taste is fine. We are now using plastic ice cube trays and water out of the sink in the Bosch freezer to make useable ice? Another minor problem was a squeaky upper freezer drawer (yep, where the ice maker bin is located). Bosch repair recommended something called ( Food Grade Silicone spray), hard to find, try (Ace Hardware), that worked and the problem was solved. We really like this refrigerator and hope this gets resolved (Bosch, are you reading this review?) As the price of refrigerators now approach that of a good used car, we can't afford to keep buying them every few years!

I have had so many clothes ruined by this Bosch 500 Series washer and dryer
I have had so many clothes ruined by this Bosch 500 Series washer and dryer. I had purchased this set from Lowe’s as a second set for the upper level of my home so I would not have to walk down to the basement. I have an 8-year-old LG Tromm set down there. This set seemed to have lots of positive reviews, and I got a great deal on the display model, so I thought I got a good deal. White clothes come out grey and dingy even with bleach. All my family’s jeans have permanent crumple creases down the legs from where the dye faded. Bed sheets turn into long twisted ropes, which would work out well if I was trying to make an escape from my prison window. And everything smells moldy. The dryer does not have a heat setting and shuts off before the clothes are dry, leaving the moldy clothes even more time to get even moldier. The steam setting does not steam but rather drips moldy water onto clothes, leaving them with wet spots. Settings are weird: like you have a choice of damp dry, regular dry, extra dry, and my favorite, xxxtraxtra dry? And not one of the settings gets the clothes dry because you have to line dry the clothes to finish the drying once they are done. And the washer is the same; weird settings like comforters, jeans, and babycare, but not white, brights, or colors? Then if you really want to get aggravated, you can select an eco-smart function that uses less water, making the dinginess of the dirty water even more concentrated, and it takes 3 hours for it to cycle. One nice thing is that it is quiet while it runs, but when it’s all done with the load, it will beep loudly all night every 2 minutes, and you can’t shut it off until you get up and open the door, then the light stays on all night. So why this machine won energy saver awards is puzzling. Anyways, after buying every kind of laundry detergent made to man, testing out all the silly stupid settings, replacing filters, hoses, and gaskets, and stacking and unstacking the machines, I have given up and am listing this machine on craigslist for free for whoever wants to ruin their clothes. Oh, my old LG cleans circles around this hunkajunk, plus it is used at least 5 times a day to clean towels from a hair salon. I had to replace a pump that went out on it; LG just charged me shipping and sent me the part free even though it’s out of warranty for 6 yrs. So, my advice to someone who wants to buy this machine? Don’t waste your money when you can come get mine for free!

DO NOT BUY BOSCH!!! My kitchen renovation required a replacement of the brand new stove. The dishwasher was replaced at least 2 times, and thereafter required service and at the present time is noisy. The refrigerator required several service calls and replacement of the ice maker, as whenever I needed ice, there was none, or the cold cuts in the refrigerator were frozen, or the vegetables in the drawer were frozen. It is too frustrating. In the beginning, Bosch was accommodating, however, there is no assistance whatsoever although I was assured they would be there to assist with the refrigerator. I bought my dream kitchen’s appliances all BOSCH on July 8, 2013: the worst decision!!! The microwave does not heat evenly! I use the MW primarily to heat a cup of milk. I set it for one and a half minutes, and what happens? It scorches the top of the milk, to the point it boils over the cup while the bottom of the cup is warm at best. I called their customer service, had a technician come and his response: The MW is working properly... please refer to page X in the user manual where it says to stop the heating midway through and mix the liquid for optimal heating. Really? I think a cheapo MW does better. That is plain wrong! I had never had issues with any other MW... and this is what they say? This is ridiculous. DO NOT BUY BOSCH period. I thought I was making a good decision, but I regret it every day. Having odor issues with an 800 series dishwasher. Stick to GE! It could be all made in China, but at least its a product used by the masses, and as such statistically the number of defects will be very few. And price wise... theyre almost the same.

If you are considering buying a Bosch fridge freezer, be aware that they have chosen to design the light fitting for the cold water/ice dispenser so that you have to buy a complete replacement module and pay for them to visit your home to fit. Likely cost of all this will easily exceed ÂŁ200/$300 - just to change a light! Ours lasted less than 3 years, so this would be an expensive fridge if we paid Bosch every time it failed. Does a good job cleaning dishes. Its quiet and has plenty of adjustments to accommodate different size dishes, pots and pans. The most annoying thing is starting the washer cycle. You must press the start button for the EXACT length of time or it wont start. Hold it too long (more than about 1.5-2 seconds) it wont start, hold it for less than 1 second, it wont start. Over the past few years Ive gotten the timing correct so that it starts about half the time without trying a second or third or fourth time. (Gets very frustrating at times and you feel like punching the damn thing). Also, the door handle trim broke not long after getting this unit. Thats annoying but not worth fixing.

We purchased a Bosch Dishwasher on 4-27-2014 from Sears; at which time Bosch had a rebate (Offer # 781-34) of $150.00 Install Reward. We sent the rebate in on the following day. It said that we would received rebate within 8 to 10 weeks. We waited until about 7 weeks and then called the 800# on the form to check on the status of the rebate and were told that they didnt have any record of it yet and should call back in 2 weeks. Called back 2 weeks later and talked to a man that said for some odd reason it must have been lost. We asked him if that meant that we lost out on our $150.00 rebate and he said, No, just resend it, but that we would just have to wait another 8 to 10 weeks. Now we received a postcard stating that the request was not postmarked within the time frame stated on the rebate form. We called the rebate center and explained the situation and they said that the 2 times that we called there were never reported so they were sorry but we lost our rebate. This we feel is totally not our fault. We sent the rebate on time. They should have created an account on us the first time we called. The rebate offer is what made us buy the Bosch in the first place. It was to pay for the installation fee. We talked to a supervisor at the rebate center and she told us that the man that told us to resend the papers to them should have given us a different address to send them to. I asked her for that different address and that I would resend them for the 3rd time and she said that it was too late now because the rebate was over. This is really ridiculous. We have searched on line and found that we are not the only ones this has happened to. What is actually happening with these rebates that people like us are suppose to be getting but arent? We are very disgusted in this whole situation and in the way the rebate center for Bosch is run. They need to train the people hired there to do their jobs. We are not upset with the actual people that are answering the phone but the ones that are higher up doing the hiring and training. Went higher up and talked to a person from Bosch and they said that the rebates are all handled by the rebate center and that this was out of their hands.

Bosch washing machine. Plenty of washing programmes. Good value for money.
Bosch washing machine. Plenty of washing programmes. Good value for money. Quick wash is excellent. I have had the machine over ten years and would buy the same make again. Energy efficiency, brand reputation and price. Dryer would be a different purchase. I would look around and see the best one on the market so do not dry as well as others. A product that does not start to rust within the first twelve months, and no paint chipping and find out cost of spares. Some makes are expensive to repair. Very pleased with Bosch washing machine. I always get a clean wash. The one thing that does annoy me is the powder tray. This gets so black and over the years I have found weak bleach solution will clean the tray (when removed), but even this fails to stop the holes above the dispenser, becoming blocked with the black slime (caused by washing powder and plastic). I have had the unit replaced twice. I would like all manufacturers to try and resolve this problem. Rather expensive over ten years, but so far no other problems.

Bought the above dishwasher (Model SHV878WD3N/10) and had it installed 10/15/18. It did not work from the 1st day. A repair technician checked it on 11/2/18 and told us the dishwasher had a factory defect and was not repairable. He contacted Bosch and told me they were going to exchange the dishwasher and I should check back with them in 3-4 days. I called on 11/6 in the morning and was told the exchange had been approved and I would have to wait 5-7 business days for that to be arranged. In the afternoon on 11/6 a customer service rep called me and advised me the exchange was approved and I would have to wait 7-10 business days.On 11/14/18 I called because I had not heard from them and was told that the approval had not been sent to the exchange department and was assured it was sent through that day. Now they tell me I will have to wait another 7-14 days to find out what model the exchange is approved for and when that may take place. Customer service reps are rude and do not provide their name. This was a $884 custom front unit and they are not even telling me I can get the same unit. The customer service at Bosch is terrible!!

Admittedly, my Bosch Oven is now over 10 years old and out of warranty. However, this is the second time that the Bosch Oven has exploded with glass shattering over the floor and the people in the kitchen. Whilst I expect some ovens to grow old, I do not expect them to explode - especially twice now. The first was when the oven was being used and the second time was when the oven had cooled down. The first time, Bosch provided some (around 40%) reimbursement. On the second contact, first impression from customer service was that they were interested, but since then, they have been notably unavailable for comment or response. I wont be recommending a Bosch Oven purchase to anyone - in fact my response would be the opposite.

Bosch dishwashers are the absolute biggest pieces of junk! I spent over $80
Bosch dishwashers are the absolute biggest pieces of junk! I spent over $800.00 on their dishwasher and it has broken down 20 times in 6 months! My cousin was going to purchase 50 dishwashers for a condo unit he is building. Guess what!? He isnt anymore! The stench from the dishes not getting cleaned is disgusting. Never, ever buy Bosch for anything! Their customer service is the WORST!!! The water does not fill leaving the dishwasher to run for over 2 hours never cleaning a single dish. I have had dinner parties and the dishwasher has not worked, (as usual) leaving myself and my guests disgusted at the mess. I will discourage every single person I know to never, ever purchase ANYTHING from this fraud company. Shame on them for making such cheap garbage!
