The electronics on the first two induction burners failed within six months
The electronics on the first two induction burners failed within six months which was covered under warranty. The second two went three weeks after the warranty and we had to argue with Dacor to cover them otherwise it is a $1400 repair job. From day one whenever you open the oven door the controls and heat shut off. Sometimes it turns back on when you close the door. As for the downdraft, it worked fine until 10 weeks ago when while closing, the cover lip hit a wooden spoon that had been lying flat near the edge. There is no safety feature and the motor continued to try and close the fan. The unit would not respond and would not re-open. The spoon had to be broken to get it out. If this was a childs finger you would have had to call 911. We now have a repair bill of over $350 and are still waiting for 2 months for Dacor to send a part. We will never buy this brand again.

I purchase a home with a Dacor double oven. Unfortunately the oven begins transmitting multiple beeps and the touch panel will sometimes read off after beeping a while. I contacted the staff at Dacor requesting a service manual. They refused to send me a service manual and stated that only authorized technicians can service their equipment. Its obvious they used google or a local phone book and sent me contacts of appliance repair shops in my area. When I called, they had never heard of Dacor let alone be factory authorized. I called Appliance repair shops up to 50 miles away to find there were no Dacor Dealers. I found one 70 miles away but it was too far to send a technician. If I remove my oven from the wall and take it there they would attempt to look at it. I had to reverse engineer the thing to find that my touch panel has gone bad and now I cannot find a used one. I want to recommend that anyone considering an appliance DO NOT PURCHASE A DACOR! If you are looking for high end stick to SubZero / Wolf. Oddly enough I see that there hasnt been any reviews for the past 5 years. Maybe it appears people have stopped buying Dacor appliances.

We have a dual fuel Dacor oven purchased in 2001. We have the manual. For some reason, after cancelling a timer, the oven locked at :4. The owners manual was no help. The Dacor website was no help. We turned off the circuit breaker then turned it on again and finally, the oven worked.

I'm just writing about the Dacor fridge. We've had the fridge for about 6 months and its amazing. It can fit so many items..we tend to buy a lot from Costco and everything fits in the fridge and freezer no problem. My two favorite things are the fresh drawer and auto fill water pitcher. The fresh drawer temp can be adjusted based on what you want to place in there. Wines, cheeses and we've even stores desserts in there. And the auto fill water pitcher means no one has to remember to fill it up. Small detail but so nice to have. Definitely recommend this fridge.

2017 purchased 36” range. First year- self cleaning overheated, replaced part. That was in 1 years warranty. But now: only 3 years barely: (I dont even cook much). Oven turns off by itself if I open the door. Oven does not turn off when I am done cooking. If I cook 450f pops warning of temp overheat. Called ABT service (this is where Dacor said) it cost $219 for a service guy to call dacor and to give me answer: I think it is android board. I have to buy a board. Plus per Dacor this board will not have wifi. So there is no Discovery- paid extra for extras I can not have...

We bought a whole new kitchen's worth of Dacor appliances - the Modernist line. It's too soon to review their performance, but so far they work well and look fabulous. Most importantly, I had an issue registering my appliances for warranty. I sent an email and not only did they resolve all my issues, registered everything for me, they also notified me I was eligible for an extended free warranty program, and they set it all up for me without any effort on my part. I wouldn't have even known if they hadn't done it for me. So far, I'd say that they have stellar customer service. When researching online before making the choice to go with Dacor, I had trouble finding information and reviews. I wanted to make sure and share my good experience since all too often people only share when they have had a negative one. I hope this is helpful to someone looking to buy!

We moved into our home in July 2012 and have had nothing but problems from our Dacor refrigerator which was manufactured and installed in this home in 2007. The appliance repair company has been to our home approximately five times in the five weeks since we moved in. Initially, the problem was with a leak in the cooling system which took the technicians about 16 hours over three visits and $1,400 to sort out. Currently, we have been without a visit from the techs in two weeks (our longest stretch since moving in) and the refrigerator is leaking from the ice dispenser and making a motorized noise so loud. Initially, I thought a motorcycle had pulled into my kitchen. Needless to say, the technicians are on their way back.

Dacors wall oven wont heat up after I used Self Clean feature. Dacor said there is a reset button behind exhaust frame on oven (close to door latch). I called when I could not find red button and was told it was hard to find and they did not know exactly where it was located. Maybe I should call repairman. Any suggestions? Has anyone else had problems after cleaning oven? PS: My 5 year extended insurance expired Nov 11.

I have had my 30 inch Dacor Dual Fuel Range since 2002. In the past month, the oven door seems to be falling apart. I had to replace the oven door handle after the handle cracked in the spots on the right hand side where the screws go in. When I tried to screw the new handle in, I noticed that the front panel on the door is lifting away from the door. It is more separated on the right hand side which leads me to believe that it is the reason that the handle cracked on that side. As a result, the handle cannot be properly installed. The only way this can be repaired is to call someone in to do it and it will either have to be glued together or the whole door would need replacing. Reading these forums, Im worried that my oven problems are just beginning and I dont want to start sinking money into this oven. I purchased a Dacor as I believed it was a high quality product and that it would be worth the money and last a long time. This type of problem should not be occurring. I do not consider 10 years a long time for a product like this. My sister has had her Jenn Air oven for almost 20 years and it has no signs of wearing out.

The problem started with our refrigerator unit when it was still in the first year of a 2-year warranty. We have had over 9 service calls for various problems; we had to replace the circuit board, switch and the pan twice. The warranty runs out soon. After five unanswered calls to the customer service number, we were finally able to get through; not that it made a difference. Their response was, “We apologize, but there is nothing we can do?” Sound familiar? Dacor refuses to extend the warranty even though the problems seem to be bad design, parts and customer service. Dacor says when (not if) you need another repair, well work with you. Yipee! We get to work with them some more and pay for the privilege. Dont make the same mistake we did. We will never buy a Dacor product again.

Purchased a Dacor DT0227B wall oven. The first oven arrived damaged; the control panel was completely off the unit. We ordered a replacement oven which arrived today. Upon turning on the power, error codes C76 and C77 appeared on the control panel display. The installers phoned your service people who instructed them to remove the front panel and look for a loose wire. When they removed the front panel, the entire control board was just hanging free, not secured in place with any screws (it appeared that this was an assembly error). They found a wire hanging, secured it in place, reattached the control panel and applied power. At this time the error codes were no longer displayed and they were able to set the time. When they attempted to start up an oven cycle to test the unit, the Start/Continue button on the membrane keypad was not responding. Another call to your service team determined that the control panel would need to be replaced. 2 ovens within 2 weeks arrived DEAD! The quality is beyond unacceptable. I sent an e-mail to the CEO of the company before I posted this. I received a response from a QA guy. Any manufacturing company that thinks Quality is the responsibility of QA is working with a 1950s mindset!! Dacor is pitiful and will certainly not last as a company with this kind of quality and customer service!!

I purchased a Dacor Refrigerator about 4 years ago and have had nothing but constant problems with it over the years. Finally they agreed to send me a new refrigerator, and now after five months I am having a major problem with it, and have been trying for 3 hours to get a warranty authorization from them so I can have a repair man come out and stop a major leak that is now leaking into the condo below me. I am so disgusted with their products and their service that I really would never advise anyone purchasing a Dacor product. If I could I would buy another brand then be done with it, but this was a $9,000.00 refrigerator - CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT???

I purchased a Dacor Black Dual Fuel Range (RSD30B) in 2001 which was installed during a kitchen remodel. We moved back into the house on 12/24/01. We hardly ever use the oven because my husband barbeques every night. In less than 5 years, a piece of the plastic front control panel fell off. In early 2008 the self cleaning function broke (error F2). I called Dacor and they referred me to a repair service. It was going to cost almost $500 to repair so, given that we use the oven so little, I decided not to spend the money on an oven that was falling apart. Now within the last two years the plastic control panel is cracked across the front and more pieces are starting to fall off. Now the clock and the timer have stopped working. I called Dacor again today and was told that the seals and hinges on the oven are probably bad, which is contributing to the problem. The customer service person was rude and unhelpful. He said it was not unusual for a ten year old oven to break. He gave me contact information for a parts dealer and two repair services. I bought this oven believing it was a high quality and I expected them to stand behind their product. What can you do to help me?

Updated on 09/08/2019: Received a long apology from Dacor regarding their complete inability to service our range stating they would make it right. After sending them all my contact info privately at their request, we have heard nothing. My husband drove to Houston to their showroom, met with Dacor rep out of California, still nothing. Note there are only a few suggested repair services on their website which none cover our area. Avoid Appliance Genius. They wanted $ 500 just to drive 50 minutes travel cost. So here we sit, broiler in main oven out, lighters do not work, and the control screen is blank. Yes, Dacor was great until something broke.Original Review: Our Dacor range was great until it started needing repair. First the broiler went out in the main oven. Then some of the lighters quit working. When we called for repair, every place we called said they would no longer service Dacor because they were unable to get parts. For over a year we have gone back and forth with Dacor state office. They finally sent a “tech” from a video repair store. Really. He charged us $170 to drive to us. Then said he couldn’t get the brass rings off the burners, sorry. Called Dacor again and they said if we found anyone to let them know!!! Yesterday, the the touch panel burned out. I’m done. Dacor does not stand behind their products. I have documented all conversations. Do not buy Dacor.

When our installer removed the packing material, he saw that the oven glass was shattered. Dacor said they would fix it, but wouldnt tell me how. I had to call the local repair shop to see what parts were being shipped. Only the glass! Not even the whole door. The idea that they would take apart and reassemble a brand new oven and consider that acceptable service makes me angry. This is supposed to be a high end company. I responded that this was unacceptable since the oven had obviously been dropped (shatter pattern spreads from the lower right corner of the glass) and might be a safety hazard. No response yet. Ill update this if/when I get a response.

We bought our new Dacor CPS 130S wall oven when we built a new house in 04.
We bought our new Dacor CPS 130S wall oven when we built a new house in 04. First we had to replace the lower heating element. Now the touchpad (Dacor part # 13290S) is malfunctioning. The + button will not respond to touch. Called Dacor and was told that the needed part number was discontinued in 2009. I double-checked with a distribution center in San Antonio, TX, who confirmed that the part is no longer available. They referred me back to Dacor on the chance that Dacor would have one somewhere. Dacors suggested solution was that we need to buy an updated completely new oven, which would cost us several more thousand dollars. So here we sit with a perfectly good oven minus a touchpad to control it correctly. So much for buying reliable, U.S. made products and receiving good service. I thought there existed a federal law that mandates a company must make parts available for 10 years if they discontinue the product?

I had an issue with the wall oven light on my Dacor Preference double oven. To make a long story short, after contacting Dacor directly, they made sure that the unit was fixed by providing the part directly to me and confirming that the local repair company would be willing to install it. The oven is 8 years old and in the end, what I spent seemed reasonable to get a fully functioning oven (membrane switch). They were prompt, personal and courteous in their response to me. I came away feeling that Dacor takes pride in their history and their products! They also cleared up some misconceptions that I had regarding the status of their company. Although it was frustrating to have an appliance not work properly, I feel that the customer service Dacor provides makes their company one worth sticking with. That makes a big difference in todays impersonal world.

Dacor Distinctive Series Range model DR30D - One week after the appliance warranty expired, the oven stopped heating. The repair man replaced the circuit board. We still got a code 33 when we try to get the oven to heat to 400 degrees. Called customer service, they said to flip the breaker to the unit off for a few minutes. Seemed to help but we do not use the oven much, as we also have a Meile microwave/oven that we love and use that more. Then I cleaned the oven using only the ovens program. That locked down all of the gas cook top knobs. I called the repair service, it snowed on the Saturday of the appointment. They cancelled. I did not check the stove on Sunday. On Monday the repair service walks in and simply turns it on, no problem. VERY FISHY!!! I have heard the manufacture can control it by computer chips. This appears to be very true. Wow! I wish I had read this website before we built our house 3 years ago. I have a 5 burner Dacor cook-top that has been nothing but trouble since day one! I have 5 different appliance brands in my kitchen and the Dacor is the only one that has caused continuous problems. I was so mad at the repair man today I hung up on him (poor guy, I see now Dacor is the problem). The cook-top has exploded three times. ow when I say exploded, I am not joking at all. I mean the explosion blew the cook-top up and burners off, blew the cabinet doors underneath open, flames shot out and the house shook. One of the times, my one year old son was standing next to it. I was so upset I ran into the other room with him and sat on the floor and we both cried. It was terrifying! I have had a repair man here 6 times over the last 5-ish weeks (Yes, I didnt have a stove over Thanksgiving and I was the host; its not looking good for Christmas either and we have 4 kids). They have replaced, cleaned and fixed everything possible. They then pointed the finger numerous times at the propane company (which they now have determined it is not a propane problem for sure). Today the repair company called me (by the way, they have been constant contact with their Decor rep Rob about the problems) and said they are done. My expensive 3 year old cook top is not repairable. They have exhausted every possibility. They have been here 6 times and the propane company three times. I have a hole in my granite counter top cut specifically for the cook-top and am told that every cook-top is a different size so I do not know what I am going to do. I called Dacor today and asked to speak to someone who could help me to no avail. I then asked for someone (anyone) to call me back today. You guessed it. Theres been no call back. This is getting really old. How many weeks does this need to go on (dont answer that)? Another problem that I have just lived with is that the stove continually clicks for quite a while after you are cooking. I was told to clean it a certain way. I did that and it didnt work. The repair man did it; it didnt work. The repair man said something was loose inside and tightened it. It still didnt work. I guess I could live with the click. It is the explosions that I need fixed.

When I bought my house, the previous owners told me that theyd been having problems with the Dacor oven. They had purchased a replacement burner and prepaid the Dacor authorized service technician to install it for us. We have worked for three years now to get Dacors authorized service representative to install the part for which he has already been paid, and have been using a toaster oven to prepare meals for a family of four the entire time. The oven will heat to 135 degrees, then either shut off completely or immediately switch to broiling mode and burn whatever is inside it. When I called Dacor to see if they could help with the service issue since the technician was authorized by them, they told me it was my problem, not theirs. Although if the product they manufactured wasnt faulty in the first place, it wouldnt be anyones problem!

We purchased a Dacor induction range 5 years ago which cost $5000 plus installation parts and service costs totalling $10000. Two days ago, an error code showed up indicating that the generator needs replacement. I contacted Dacor who states that the part is discontinued but that I could contact a refurbishing company (Corecentric) to send my generator to for possible repair. A service technician would have to remove the generator, I would send the part to Corecentric, then IF they can repair it, the tech needs to reinstall it. There are no service providers that Dacor referred me to that will service a refurbished part. Even if I wanted to try, I as an owner, cannot remove it myself because Dacor does not provide the service manual to do so. I spoke to Dacor multiple times about this problem and management stated that since the product is so out of warranty that they cannot offer any other repair option, compensation, or replacement even if the part is deemed unrepairable by Corecentric. When you pay $10000 for a product I expect it to last more than five years and that a reputable company would stand by their product and service. Essentially, Dacor inferred that we are out of $10000 because a part that POSSIBLY can be refurbished for $215 plus service costs, cant get serviced and Dacor takes no further responsibility. I have heard stories from appliance providers and service providers that since Dacor joined Samsung, that their customer service is poor and products have become inferior.

We purchased a Dacor 30 Heritage Gas range and installed it in early Oct 2020. Within a day a gas leak from the back of the range was identified by our gas contractor. Dacor repaired it quickly (12 hours). I was impressed (though concerned it already had an issue). In December 2020 I noticed that the oven indicator light was not coming on. I contacted customer service and despite indicating that there was a problem, was simply told what the light was for. Then, in February 2021 (under 5 months after installation) the oven stopped working. The service technician indicated it was an electrical issue and the gas would not ignite. It has now been over two weeks and we still do not have it repaired nor any indication of when it will be repaired. We spent $5200 on this range. I do not recommend Dacor.

I purchased entire kitchen of Dacor appliances - $30,000. The 48 refrigerator required 9 service calls to stop freeze up. Wall oven – the digital panel went bad. The most recent service call was yesterday, 12/20/2011. After waiting since November, it is again not working. Does anyone else understand that spending $1700 on a dishwasher should allow you to use the dishwasher? Contacted Dacor 3 weeks ago for a replacement or repair, and still nothing. They made us go through dealer, and last week told dealer we refused service. Ridiculous! Now they are telling dealer they cant find a servicer nearby. Am considering declining payment through credit card company for their lack of follow through and service, and let them come get their unit.

I hope someone finds this helpful before reading or writing bad reviews.

Im on my second Dacor 36 range! I absolutely love this product. The large grates on the cooktop allow me to have multiple things going at the same time and the size of the oven is amazing. The oven takes a full commercial sheet which allows me to cook 3 or 4 dozen cookies at a time! Dacors convection system is undeniably the best in class. I can roast garlic and bake a cake at the same time with zero flavor transfer! My turkey at Thanksgiving is so amazing Martha Stewart would adopt me if she could see it! It truly makes the kitchen the heart of the home, not only is it aesthetically pleasing but it is the center of all things yummy at our house!

Follow-up to March 31 posting: In 2001, we installed two Dacor wall ovens and a gas (converted to propane) cook top. The cook top has been problem free and the brushed stainless steel surface still looks like new. Both ovens however, at that time, were problematic during the two year-warranty period. Knowledgeable service people were hard to come by in our region. After numerous service calls, Dacor replaced one of my wall ovens at or around the three-year mark (outside of the warranty period). That particular unit had only one minor issue since then and Dacor replaced the appropriate part free of charge. The other original unit has been problematic since the beginning. The latest problem being the internal light going on/off for no reason and then a lack of response to light button on the front control panel.Long story short, I posted my frustration here on March 31 and was contacted by a Dacor rep within two days. He asked me for detailed info on the problem and located the unit in their files. Some of the past repairs were known to Dacor, but others were not since we just did them ourselves. I was asked to send a detailed description of the current issue along with pictures, which I did. Based on Dacors analysis or the pictures and the exhibited problem, they sent me, free of charge, a control panel membrane, a door gasket and a set of door hinges. We installed these items and the unit is now in full working order. In looking back over the past years of problems with this particular unit, its clear to me the issues all stemmed from an original broken door hinge. It was compounded by the fact that the service and repair folks at the time considered the door gap to be within tolerance and we did not discover the broken hinge until the door glass shattered and we needed to replace it, which required removing the door. Anyway, at this stage in the game, I am very pleased with Dacors response. It is my impression that they are trying much, much harder to stand behind their products. So, while just a short time ago I would have never considered another Dacor product, when the time comes, they would still be on my list of considered vendors because when these ovens work, they work great.

We purchased this range after remodeling our kitchen. We opted for the Dacor because of the deep oven that the other high end ovens did not have. I am an avid baker so this was a plus. After a year and half the oven stopped working, it was not getting hot. Thankfully is was still under warranty and it was repaired. The technician determined it was the oven control thermostat that was not working. Fast forward two years and again the same problem, along with the right front burner now also not working. And wouldnt you know it, the warranty is expired. Another technician came out again and stated to fixed the two problems it would be approx $250.00 just for labor and not including parts. CRAZY INSANE!!! If we would have known all the problems and we would have purchased either a Wolf, a Thermador or even a Monogram. How can so many issues and problems be happening with an range that is only 4 years old? Especially one that costs over $6000. It has to be a lemon or poorly manufactured. Ive contacted Dacor and was told they need to review my file to make a determination on what they want to do. REALLY, you dont need to be a rocket scientist to know there is a problem. Theres lemon laws for cars, why not appliances????

I purchased a 48 Dacor Epicure stove in October 2010. We moved into our home in November just in time for Thanksgiving. We remodeled the kitchen and the stove is the focal point. When I heated the two ovens, the pre-heat mode stayed on but the ovens went to 600 degrees plus. My oven thermometers only read to 600. That happens every time and the fans stay on for hours. After many service calls, we have determined that the oven is going into a cleaning mode every time and is wired backwards. Dacor is ignoring me.

Our refrigerator is 5 years old and has had a problem with icing up in the freezer area, resulting in a loud noise from the freezer fan. We originally called Dacor for service but they could not get to it for 2 weeks. An appliance repairman installed a new heater for the defroster. This only worked a short time and happened twice with a cost of over $1000. A couple of months ago, it happened again, and we were able to get a hold of ** at Dacor customer service. She knew exactly what was causing the problem. She ordered the parts and directed a factory-approved repairman to install over $800 in parts and we are confident the issue is resolved. Thank you, Dacor, for standing behind your products.

We remodeled our kitchen in 2002 and chose the Dacor 36 dual-fuel range. I was preparing a pork roast for a dinner party with the oven on Bake. The roast was just not coming up to temperature, though the display indicated that the oven was at the temperature I set. I wound up slicing the roast and cooking it on the griddle; my hungry guests were getting restless. Then I tracked the oven heat for an entire day with an oven thermometer. The oven would come up to temperature and then cool off. I sent these numbers to Dacor and asked customer service for an explanation. Believe it or not, the conversation was--Dacor: The temperature is going down because the fan is coming on. Youre not supposed to use the Bake setting, but only the Convection Bake or Pure Convection. Me: Why is the Bake button there, then? Dacor: Were taking it out in the next production run. (This hasnt happened. My sister-in-law bought a Dacor last year before I could warn her and the button is still there.) Also, after using the self-clean one time, I noticed a crack on the inside of the oven door, starting in the corner of the window. The inside of the window is now permanently spotted with baked-on grease. Now my oven does not work at all. The repairman says that the circuit board needs to be replaced, and if Im lucky, it will work for a couple of years. The repair will cost around $700 including labor. The repairman told me that some repairmen in our area will not even work on Dacors because there are so many problems. Im considering replacing the stove... a very expensive mistake. Beware of Dacor products.

I bought my Dacor epicure 36 duel fuel range in 1998. First stove: oven door did not close, spark modulator out. They tried to fix it but failed. They sent me a new stove. #2 stove: same problem with spark modulator. Couldnt use any burner without the constant clicking. Oven didnt bake evenly. Complained. Stove: #3: same problems. Dacor sent me a letter to grade them on their stoves and service. I blasted them. They called me and ask if I wanted my money back or another stove. Stupidly I took the stove. This was 5 years since the original purchase. Ive had this stove #4 for 13 years. Door is and always has been unable to close. I use a stick to close it. Now the relay board is out. Frankly I so love the looks of the stove and I cant afford to get a new one. Original was 5200. Now they are 6700 and I would probably have the same problems. So I am going to try and fix this stove myself. I will never buy Dacor anything ever again, even if I could afford it. When they offer your money back, take it. The service was responsive although didnt solve the problem through 4 stoves. I would gather from that, the design is bad. My mother has a old 1940 gas stove that still works. Gas stoves should not be that complicated.

We had misfortune of owning whole suite of Dacor appliances for about two years now -- Cooktop, oven, microwave, and hood. The Ovens motor burnt out after few months of operation - This was covered and repaired by Dacor. Now Cooktop - Dacor Distinctive DRT366S/NG - just exploded with fire when we were cooking one night. This was very scary and dangerous situation. Dacor acknowledges that there was issue with this particular unit but they will not look at it or help us fix it. If you pay 5 times the price of a regular cooktop you would think that a company would have integrity to look into cases like fire and explosion to make sure these things not happen in the future but when they even refuse to look at the issue that tells you that they do not care. Imagine if GM/Ford told their customers that manufacturing faults are not covered anymore since the cars are out of warranty. This has been worst experience ever and we will never ever buy or recommend buying Dacor appliances.

My Decor Epicurian oven and range has been a nightmare from day one. I have had the oven for about 8 years and had it repaired so many times I have lost count and had spent at least $2000 on repairs. We have experienced motherboard burn out, membrane failure, temperature control malfunctions, error messages that cause incessant beeping. Nearly all of the problems that have been described in this list of complaints, I have had the problems themselves multiple times! Now, I am panicking a bit because I decided to use the self clean function on my oven this morning and now, I have read some sad malfunction stories following the use of this feature. I am so torn about whether I should just cancel the cleaning process. I do not want to risk having the oven malfunction again, but the thing really needs to be cleaned.

Our 10 year old Dacor microwave finally passed on, so I ordered this model, as it fits into the existing trim kit. It is basically the same model I had before, without all the "digital" screen display and the "tune" that played when the food was done. It still does multiple steps at different percentages and, instead of hitting time, percentage and start, you select time, and repeatedly press the "power setting" button multiple times to arrive at your desired percentage (it steps down from 100%), then press start. It's also an 1100 watt unit where our previous one was 1200 watts. I don't notice any difference. It has a "cobalt" blue display. There are many "preset" buttons for things like Pizza, Popcorn, etc. Love our new Dacor!

We purchased the Model MOH130S in 2006 from a very reputable distributor of high-end appliances. In 2009 we required a service call to deal with temperature control. The oven was out by more than 40 degrees Fahrenheit. This resulted in a relay board, item 101559, to be replaced. Dacor was nice enough to cover the cost of the board, but not the cost of the $152.00 service call. In 2013, guess what? Relay board, this time out by more than 50 degrees, item # 101559 required replacement again only this time it was not covered and cost of $628.00. Here we are, 2016 waiting for the service provider again as temperature is out by over 60 degrees. Roasts, Turkeys, Chickens and everything else have been dying slow deaths in this unit and are awaiting yet another bill to deal with temperature control. Dacor will do nothing until another $150 service call confirms the problem. Hmmm! What to do?

Most of my life, Ive always bought pretty low end appliances, and theyve always worked pretty well. It was still under warranty, but it was very hard to find someone to honor the warranty. We got that fixed, then the oven light started to come on and off randomly. The Dacor gas range/ oven and wall oven were here when we bought our house in 2010. I would never buy any Dacor product again. I will have to look for a replacement for the gas cooktop range. The Dacor gas cooktop is OK except that EVERY time you turn on a burner, one or two of other igniters start clicking and wont stop until you find which one it is (not always the same) and turn it on and off. Please heed this and all the other warnings from the choir. DO NOT BUY DACOR!It is all very expensive junk. The oven temperatures fluctuate while baking. The oven range unit is out of warranty. So our home warranty AHS covered it but they kept sending out the same grubby slob who never fixed the problem but did charge us for the $75.00 service fee. They replaced the oven controller and the temperature sensor. This did not fix the problem. We have a full size oven that we cannot use! Then F1 beeping nonstop, and we have to turn power off to stop it. Now, out of the blue the downdraft fan just started extending and retracting over and over again with no way to stop it without going back to the electrical panel and flipping the breaker that it is wired into. That leaves us with no kitchen and no bathroom plugs! I hung up after 35 minutes on hold. I was just trying to find a certified technician in Bend, OR. This was based on recommendations from friends who do a lot of cooking like we do, and the mistaken thought that this US company would be more inclined to support any future problem. We now have a problem with the control panel. Dacors only response is that they do not make the part anymore and cannot help us remedy the problem. They even had the nerve to say that they would give us 10% off a new one. Except for the annoying buzzer sound, the stove works well. We remodeled our kitchen in the fall of 2009 and decided to purchase what we thought were higher end Dacor appliances (stove top, oven and microwave). Well, what a mistake that turned out to be. Considering the price we paid for the appliances, you would not expect problems from all 3. Perhaps a problem with 1 appliance, but problems with all 3 suggest a real quality problem. My first indication should have been when I called and asked how to change the green LED on the microwave to blue to match the nice blue LEDs on the oven mounted right below. I was told that someone else makes the microwave and Dacor just puts their name, and that I should just turn off the LED on the microwave. I dont know if that is true, but that is what I was told. Now when using the microwave/convection feature, the oven makes a noise (sounds like a fan motor) for the first 3-5 minutes then eventually quiets down. A daily reminder of the mistake we made purchasing Dacor. Then those nice blue LEDs on the oven started failing making it impossible to read the clock, timer or temp. Luckily, the oven still works; you just cannot read the LED any longer. This is a constant reminder of the mistake we made buying Dacor as we see the LED every time we walk into the kitchen. Finally, we have the solid surface electric cooktop. Although it works fine, the black paint on the metal trim around the stove top is wearing off. Now, we have some shiny metal and some black trim. This is just an annoyance and honestly, we probably would not have even complained about it. However, with the other problems we have had with Dacor, it just adds to our overall disappointment with Dacor. If I knew then what I know now, I would be a lot happier because I would have GE appliances and not these overpriced low quality Dacor appliances.

Even though I set the temp. at 325 convection roast, it reset itself to 500 broil. Nothing works except the clock. Called repair guy after the holidays. Epicure Range, wall oven, microwave and fridge - When remodeling our kitchen in 2010, an appliance salesperson gave us a good deal on the entire set. We spent $20k on the Dacor appliances. BIG MISTAKE! Do not ever buy anything Dacor. We have issues with every single one. Where do I start? The ovens have gone out three times now and I have had to replace the main panel, now it will not heat at all. The refrigerator 42 built-in is a big piece of crap! We have had it serviced 4-times for everything. The entire fridge freezes over due to a design flaw. The fan in the freezer completely ices over. The ice door broke. The crushed ice broke. The plastic door for the butter broke. The shelves broke. The microwave has had issues and has had to be fixed. The oven temps were wrong. Fixed those myself thanks to YouTube. When talking to the service guy he said that these are cheap appliances with the Dacor badge, so you have to spend big bucks to buy them and big bucks to repair! Do yourself a favor and if you are thinking of Dacor run! I contacted Dacor and they are even worse to deal with. They did not care that their appliances are very unreliable. Dacor Double Oven Model D0230 - I have had my oven since November 2011. I purchased an extended warranty at the time of buying the oven. Right after it was installed, I called and said they needed to come and adjust the temperature control. It was off at least 50 degrees. It never held the correct temperature. Since July, we have had to replace 2 relay boards, two other parts that should take care of erratic temperature. Then I noticed the gasket was turning black in the corner and my glass pack in the window was steaming up and not clearing. The extended warranty would not cover the glass replacement and I was charged $126. They said it was cosmetic, but this was so bad that I couldnt see through half the glass. The steam stained the glass and you could not clean it, because it was inside two pieces of glass. Do not buy a Dacor oven. In 38 months I have so many repairs that I have lost track.

My Dacor oven (DO130S, S/N V-A-10160044) is less than 18 months old. While it was in use, it popped, sparked, tripped the circuit breaker, and died. I called customer service, and voiced my concern on safety due to potential electrical defect. Steven, the customer service person advised me that this oven is no longer in warranty, and to call a repair service. I reiterated the concern for product safety. He placed me on hold, and the call was dropped. I called again, and Mike answered. I repeated the same info, and he was not willing to listen to any concerns. He hung up on me. This experience does reflect on published Dacors commitment to customer service, or product safety.

We purchased a Dacor Epicure Range for approximately $10,000 and have had one repair after another because the burners leak gas, endangering our family. Weve spent almost $3,000 on repairs and the repairman has told us that hes never seen such a pervasive gas leak. To manage the cost of repairs, weve literally turned the gas and stove off for periods of time to cook on other appliances. While I love the design of the stove and specifically selected it over Wolf and other high end brands, I now wish I had gone with another brand. I have reached out to Dacor about this but they have not been willing to stand behind their product.

Purchased a Dacor freezer. Freezer does not come with outer panel. Understandably, because you can choose to put your own custom panel on or order one from Dacor. Found out Dacor was bought by Samsung, a few years ago. So I decided to order a Stainless steel door from Dacor. One of Dacors reps suggested I order from J@J international. I placed order and two days later they called back saying they cannot ship door to me UPS nor FedEx will ship it. They refunded my money, so I reordered from someone else. Got ss panel toe kick and handle. Opened box only to find out no hardware, brackets ss trim for sides screws and so forth. I assumed mounting hardware would be with door. So began the part search for parts. Come to find out Samsung changed Dacors part #s. Vendors who sell the parts could not come up with parts or told me not available. Reliable parts agent told me this. I was told they should have come with freezer. Meanwhile called back Dacor to someone who specializes in dealing with these issues. She took over 45 minutes of my time giving me the impression she was gonna resolve the issue. She finally said we have the parts and inferred that I must have not talked to reliable parts. I assured her I did. She continued to refute what I told her. I have been right at two months trying to get freezer door installed. I called an Appliance dealer in Salisbury Md. to get assistance. He told me when Samsung bought Dacor he dropped line. I now see why. It has been the worst experience I have had with a company that has absolutely done nothing but appear to be concerned and say they are sorry but do nothing. It looks like it will be another 750.00 to get a couple little trims and brackets and a few screws. If I had it to do over I would never have gone down this road. This has been a two month old nightmare that is still going on. Best advice I can give is steer clear of Dacor/Samsung. Was going to buy matching column refrigerator. Not now.

I purchased a Dacor Renaissance range for our new home. What a waste of money. Though I have not had any major problems with the performance of the range yet, besides uneven baking, the design is not user-friendly. To begin with, the gas burners share a grate. So when cleaning, you have to remove the whole grate on one side. The controls for the burners & griddle are very hard to see & I have to bend over to see which burner Im turning on. The oven racks are a joke. The two glide racks are very bulky with sharp edges. It is difficult to change the heights or to remove them for cleaning purposes. Though there are three racks included, it is impossible to bake with all three in the oven.I have a GE Monogram that I had purchased two years ago for another home, and I love it The Renaissance & Monogram are similar in price, but I unfortunately, listened to the sales person & let them talk me into the Renaissance. I realized my mistake in buying a Dacor immediately & contacted the appliance store. Even though the Renaissance had not been used, they would only give me a token amount of money towards trading it in for a Monogram. So, I am stuck with a range that causes me to swear under my breath every time I use it. Dacor could learn a lot from GE.

I purchased a 30 Dacor dual fuel range and matching hood in 2004. I paid $4009 for the range and $948 for the hood. The range and hood have been nothing but problems. I wrote to Dacor in April 2009 detailing the problems with the range with service history dating back to 2006. Problems include overheating when cleaning which is a safety risk, replacement of cooling fan, ignitor assay, part # 92309 membrane, and replacement of relay board in 2007, 2009 and again December of 2011. I attempted to purchase a Dacor extended service agreement in January 2009 but was declined due to the ranges past history and its age. I recently found this site which indicates that other consumers have had similar problems with Dacor products. Dacor has lost me as a customer as I will never buy another Dacor product! I have been disappointed and frustrated with their lack of response and support. I finally purchased a GE service contract which has helped absorb some of the cost of ongoing repairs. The overhead lighting has long since gone out in the hood. I was told the hood needs to be disassembled to replace the lights. Dacor should step up and support its products. When most people put out $4000 for a range, they expect to get a quality product that will last 15-20 years. With Dacor, this has definitely not been the case!

We installed 2 Dacor wall ovens, a 5-burner cooktop, and a downdraft fan in 2000. The convection ovens bake perfectly and have performed without fail. After 7 to 8 years of daily use, we did have to replace the door hinge on the oven I use most often. We are in a rural area so the repairs are accomplished through Sears. The replacement parts arrived in a timely manner and the oven has worked perfectly since. The cooktop is easy to clean and the heat is even. The downdraft fan is effective and easy to clean. I would be confident to recommend Dacor products.

We have had our Dacor since 2006 and this range, the most expensive appliance we have ever owned, simply doesnt maintain the proper oven temperature. We have owned several far less expensive ranges and their ovens, much more basic designs, do what an oven is supposed to do maintain a temperature! We cook or try to quite a lot but working with this stove is like baking over an open fire while camping. This supposedly gourmet, fancy, convection oven that supposedly can bake cookies and meat at the same time is a total fail. We have had the service people out repeatedly to no avail. I am convinced we could change the circuit boards repeatedly and it wouldnt make a difference because it is a faulty design. This product should not be on the market or this company and their poor service in business. DO NOT BUY THEIR RANGES! Unless you dont cook and all you will do is look at it. We are thinking about retaining an attorney to file a class action suit. We could buy a low cost oven that works several times over for what we have paid in repair bills.

We have a Dacor gas range RSD30R that we bought to upgrade our kitchen in 2002. We have had several issues with the range to date. The first issue we had with the range was the auto lock for the oven cleaning cycle that failed in 2007. It was not covered under warranty and cost $88. The second item to fail were the oven door springs. They also failed in 2007 and covered under warranty. They failed again in 2017 and had to be replaced for a second time. The springs are too weak to hold the weight of the heavy door. $68-$78 for the springs. The springs could easily be changed out as the brackets are still good but they only come as complete units. The last item to fail were the ignitors. Only one ignitor failed out of the four but as the spark module ignites all burners every time any one is turned on, premature failure could be expected as all ignitors light every time. This time the part is no longer available from Dacor. Dacor does not support any products they build after 7-8 years. Parts will no longer be available. I would not recommend Dacor Appliances to anyone as the manufacturer does not support their own products very long. I purchased Dacor to buy American and I regret it now. In contrast every product that Miele made even 20+ years ago, parts are still available directly from Miele and other suppliers as well.

I purchased this upgrade to my kitchen renovation. The stainless steel stove has a great look, but that is all it has. This is my third repair (with much difficulty). The same problem - the bake ignitor goes bad and sends gas smells throughout the kitchen. On Christmas day, after preheating the oven, I opened the oven door and the inside was one large flame. The heat was intense and my right arm got hot from the heat. I immediately closed the oven and cancelled the bake setting. When I called Dacor the following morning, I thought I was talking with a robot. No emotions, no sense of caring. They must be programmed. I got no satisfaction. I said, Do you understand? My stove went on fire and on Christmas day. My family was not sure if they should leave my house. I am extremely disappointed with Dacor.

I have all Dacor Appliances in my kitchen and I am very disappointed and angry. The double wall oven has not worked since day one - cant roast a chicken or God forbid, I would want to roast a turkey for Thanksgiving. The ovens look great, but just wont cook anything. Raw on one side and burnt on the other. One time I roasted a 5lbs leg of lamb for 5 hours! It still wasnt cooked. Recently, my dishwasher has stopped working properly, stops midway through cycle, wont drain water and its just been a total waste of money. I will never recommend Dacor to anyone. Do not buy Dacor. I called customer service in the beginning, as we had problems from day one, but they were of no help so I gave up. I dont use my ovens anymore, they are just for display. Very, very shameful!

To this point weve not had problems, but given the opportunity to redo the purchases wed go with a popular brand, i.e., LG, GE, Panasonic. They are more flexible, parts are available, and all three combined would probably cost less than one of these. I replaced my Thermador Wall ovens with Dacor because the size and I would have to do less retro-fitting of my cabinetry, this was a grave mistake. Here are the issues with Dacor.1. The high heat sensor trips and you need to call a service professional to have it reset. This gets very expensive. I have tripped mine three times, once baking a cake at 350 degrees, once during self-cleaning and another during normal cooking. The Dacor Service Help said this was a common problem because the heat sensor is located near to the touch panel.2. The oven vents from the bottom of the unit into the room heating my kitchen.3. The glass window does not seal so I have stains in-between the panes of glass. Not very attractive to stare at large drip stains.4. It takes an exceptionally long time to pre-heat oven and convection mode even longer.5. The temperature cycles through and does not maintain its cooking temperature causing underdone results and longer cooking times. This is especially challenging when cooking roasts and large turkeys because they may take up to an hour longer than expected.Overall, I do not recommend this product.

Purchased Dacor Induction Range w Convection Oven RR30NIS-C in October 2013 and LOVE this range. Accidentally broke the glass on the induction cooktop with falling object mid-March 2020. Only the glass is broken, and all other electronics, induction burners, oven, etc are functioning fine. Called Dacor support to acquire part number for a glass top for repair - obtained part number #701751 superseded by #702285, BUT was informed that the part had been discontinued and is no longer being manufactured or kept in stock. No other advice was given other than to discard the entire $6000 range. Multiple phone calls with service.I asked for a listing of third party part distributors and was referred to four distributors on the Dacor public website and given no other info. I called all web-based third-party distributors I could find in USA and Canada to see if anyone had the part in stock, with no luck. I contacted two technicians to see if they would be able to obtain the part through their channels, with no luck. I am an engineer, so I spent some time pouring over technical manuals trying to find a solution to replace the entire induction range cooktop assembly (top part of the range) with a later model, and although its possible, Dacor would not provide the ability to purchase an RNR30NI range cooktop assembly that could be fit into the existing housing on top of the range. The convection oven is completely fine, and I cannot believe that Dacor has given me no other option but to pitch a six-year-old $6000 range because they stopped manufacturing one fragile part made of glass. I would imagine that many consumers may be in the same position as I, as these cooktops are breakable, and accidents happen. I have reached out to Dacor support desk numerous times without resolution, and I am at my wits end with a $6000 boat anchor in my kitchen. What a waste of money! Poorly done Dacor!I would like Dacor to provide me with some sort of solution whether it be the part required to fix my induction cooktop, or a replacement Induction Range with convection oven, or reimbursement of the purchase price so I can obtain a replacement on my own. If I am not able to find a solution to repair my range, I will never buy from Dacor again! Dacor will discontinue easily broken parts without warning! You may spend thousands of dollars and not be able to repair your appliance after warranty expires!

Dacor 27 electric double oven unreliability. Almost from first use the Dacor electric double oven has been plagued with problems including but not limited to door not locking when self cleaning, not self cleaning, door not unlocking upon completion of self cleaning, and filter issues. Since purchased in 2013 the top oven has been used between 75 and 100 times; the bottom oven less than 25 times. Yesterday the oven died. First error message U43 relay board. Second U60 cooling fan. Worse when the control board responsive/froze circuit breakers were needed to turn oven off.Repair estimate is $1600 plus tax. I intend to replace the overpriced and unreliable Dacor with a Kitchen Aide at approximately 13 the price based on customer and Consumer Reports reviews plus a new one year guarantee. I do not recommend the Dacor double oven if you are a serious cook and/or frequent user. Front bevel of my first rsd30 range purchased in California in 1999 cracked within nine months. Dacor said it was a defect in the design and would fix it for free. I sold the house in 2001 but the range was still not fixed. I moved to Nevada and bought a new rsd30 range and same thing happened within six months. It took a year to get it fixed at their expense. This bevel also cracked again for the second time in March 2011. Their response to this was to offer me a new bevel for $180 and I would have to pay for the installation. I declined the offer. The bevel is still cracked at this time. At the same time, I bought a PMOR30 over the range microwave and the front handle broke at least four times. And finally, the whole thing broke down and was not repairable. In Aug. 2008, I contacted Dacor and they agreed to replace it with a new DMT2420 over the counter microwave for half the price ($390). Last week, this one blew up on me. Sparks were coming out through the side and a big hole in the removable shield and burn damage to the wall of the unit. I do not believe this unit is repairable. I contacted Michael at Dacor. He apologized and said that theres nothing they can do about it as it is out of warranty but they will look into it. What I want at this point is my money back that I paid for ($390) and for them to pick up the unit and get it out of my house. I will never buy another Dacor product again.

Regarding my previous complaint on 3/21/12, I had a Dacor fridge, model #EF42BDCBSS, installed in my brand new kitchen in March 2008 (Ive a kitchen full of Dacor). It subsequently had a problem with the drip pan in March 2009 and was fixed on warranty. Come March 2012, the fridge was again diagnosed with the same problem. The technician told me there had been a design problem, but after three re-designs, it was remedied and should have no further problems once the new part was installed. The bill, $658 and more than half, was for the part! Of course, I was livid because the fridge had been fixed in 2009 and was now off warranty. When I expressed myself originally, I was simply venting about the price of the repair without hope of a remedy. James at Dacor customer service called me promptly that next morning and left a message! We subsequently talked and he immediately got in touch with my local appliance service center. He not only worked out with them refunding my deposit for the part but also ordered two other parts that were necessary in order to fix the problem. The outcome? They fixed my fridge at no charge to me for parts or labor, and all I had to pay was the original trip and diagnosis charge. I cant begin to tell you how extremely happy and grateful I am about this. Thank you, James, for such terrific follow-through and thank you Dacor for being a top-notch business who stands behind your products!

We built a home in 2006 and installed all Dacor appliances. I would never ever purchase these products again. My gas cooktop was the top of the line product from Dacor and I have had nothing but problems with it for 5 years now. I have spent over $1000 fixing the large burner that continues to have leaks with the seal to the point where the flames come out the bottom of the burner. Most of the other burners click when lit even though they are clean and away from a draft. I have had 2 Dacor approved repair companies out and they both recommended against Dacor. In addition, the finish on the cooktop has soaked in my heavy duty cooking juices and foods and the stains will not come out. Apparently, this is due to the new finish they used so that the metal can withstand the high temperatures. If this company were an auto mfg., they would have had to do recalls and face potential class action suits. I would prefer to be cooking on a camp stove rather than my Dacor. When I contacted Dacor, they offered parts at a reduced rate which still cost a fortune. When I asked about replacement, they said they would sell to me at a discounted rate which was still $2400. Bad product, bad company. My cooktop is still giving me issues. it is embarrassing to cook with friends around because of the problems.

My Dacor Double oven is less than 5 years old. Lately, the broil function has stopped working well on both ovens. I contacted the ONLY authorized Dacor repair center - Home Appliance Repair GTA (HARGTA) and told them my broiler wasnt working well. Their repair technician came to my house, took both double oven doors off in order to give me the assessment – that my upper broil function was not working well. In fact, both upper and lower do not work well but thats a side issue. In the process, the technician broke or did not properly reinstall my double oven door. I called and he returned and again, removed BOTH oven doors. Now, my upper door is working well but my lower door has no hinge and falls hard and heavy. This is extremely dangerous. I have left multiple messages with HARGTA and they are not getting back to me. Ive even contacted DACOR which is only in the US and they havent gotten back to me either. I purchased a Dacor oven to get a quality appliance and excellent after care service. It appears that both the appliance and the aftercare service do not live up to their reputations. P.S. The quote to repair 1 broiler is $750 after less than 5 years of use. That will equal 1/4 of the oven cost in less than 5 years.

When I pay top-dollars for a supposedly high-end product, I would expect performance and durability. That is not the case with Dacor. This manufacturer charges top-dollars for their appliances but their products do not live up to expectations. I purchased a Dacor gas cooktop range, and within a year several blue-indicator lights on the knobs (which indicate the gas is on) failed. At that time it was covered under warranty, and even then it was a hassle to get the repair technician to come out and take the range out to get to the electronic parts. After replacing two of the lights, the other lights failed as well, and then the replaced lights eventually went out. Now, only one out of the five lights work. After a year, the appliance is no longer under warranty, and it is too expensive to get it serviced. Its not only a cosmetic issue, but a safety one as well. Were in the market for a single wall-oven, and I considered a Dacor for its clean and stylish design. However, after reading the reviews about Dacor, Im veering away from this company. Sadly, as much as I want to support a Made in America company, the pride of workmanship and customer service doesnt live up to this companys branding.

We moved into our home in 2012 and have had nothing but problems with our Dacor refrigerator (Dacor Model EF48DCBSS). Our issue is the drain pan heater AGAIN. This problem is, water that collects in the drain pan freezes and eventually builds up to a point where the fan motor starts hitting it, sounding like a helicopter landing in your kitchen! Weve had this problem repaired THREE times by TWO DIFFERENT repair companies to the tune of $1000. Both repair technicians said it was a design flaw and this problem would continue to happen regardless of how many icing kits were replaced. So a $7000 refrigerator will cost us $1000 a year to keep running?!?!?! After much research, its apparent we are not alone with this problem. We also had a Dacor microwave just STOP working (model #DMT2420S). It was only 8 years old. Our Dacor oven range (model #ER48DSCH) has two ovens and only one side retains the heat. The main side gets to about 300 degrees and then the temperature starts dropping. Here is the breakdown of costs for our so called high end appliances. Dual Fuel Range - $10000, refrigerator - $7000 (annual repairs of $1000), microwave - $500 (had to purchase new microwave $600). PLEASE LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKE AND DO NOT PURCHASE DACOR APPLIANCES. We have a refrigerator/freezer that we bought from Sears SIXTEEN years ago for $500. Still works like a charm! And thank God we have it, because it has had to be our backup for our $7000 Dacor.

I purchased my 30 range and was so excited! Well no longer. First the wrong range was delivered. I had to wait another three weeks for the correct one. My oven can not cook at all. Temp fluctuates by 100 degrees. Going on my third service call and still not working. It very unfair, I have to take time off work to wait for repair person, then nothing is fixed. I wish I could return this lemon. But after reading other reviews I am not alone. Why is this company not accountable for ripping hard working people off. I love cooking. Its my passion. My Kenmore Elite was half the price and far more superior.

Dacor range - After I posted my comments on August 8th, I was contacted by Dacor customer service immediately and the new part was sent to me free of charge. I do have to pay the labor, but the part was what was expensive before. They did give me an explanation as to why this was happening - the hinges on the door wear out and the door doesnt shut properly so that heat escapes. Should this be happening with a stove that was this expensive? I dont think so, but I am happy with the customer service I received from Dacor this time.

We remodeled our kitchen because my wife is a chef. So we thought a full suite of Dacor products was just what she needed. What a mistake! Our $6000 36-inch dual-fuel range had problems from the start. We had to replace the control panel, heating element, convection fan, and door seal. Finally, the liner split and the range became unrepairable. We made the mistake of purchasing a simpler, gas-only range because Dacor offered a modest discount. This $7000 range lasted four months before a failure in the wiring harness made it unrepairable!! We bought a Miele replacement. We have had performance issues with our Dacor warming drawer and microwave. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING DACOR!!!

I bought a 30 Dacor Double Oven (EO230SCH), 36 cooktop, warming drawer and matching convection microwave. Well over $10k. The microwave has been replaced as it died early within the first year while cooking popcorn - nearly started a fire in the kitchen... However the cooktop igniter died at 4 years and now the wall oven is on its third control board in years 3, 4 and 5. Nothing is under warranty and they want nothing to do with me now. The replacement oven controls cost ~$400 each plus installation. So after all this expense, I have invested $1,200 more in replacement parts and the cooktop needs an aim & flame to light. Total crap. Im going to replace all of this and will never go back to Dacor. I took the time to write this so that others will not waste their time with what I have to assume is the worst quality in the industry. Please dont waste your money.
