Dont buy Frigidaire, Electrolux, and sadly GE appliances (all one company now owned in Sweden). My Frigidaire side by side broke after less than 5 years and the only thing they will offer me after calling twice and speaking with a manager (first supervisors name was ** the second was **) both times is 50% off (not including shipping) a part needed when ordered through them after paying for a diagnostic visit of $78. After doing my research consumers should expect a fridge to last 10-15 years. This company only want to guarantee you that their $1,000-$3,000 product will last a year! After that they believe you should pay more to protect yourself from their poor quality and unreliable product as they will not stand behind and guarantee the quality.I think this is completely unacceptable and disgraceful. And the company could care less. I asked them to allow me a credit of $78 from what I would be paying the repair man quote, towards the part as I felt that would be more fair and they refused. So after paying over $1,000 for their product that failed in less than half its life expectancy they were unwilling to give me a credit of $78 with no remorse. Also while calling for service from local repair people I asked them from their experience who are the best and worst out there for refrigerators and they said best: Maytag and Whirlpool. Worst- Frigidaire/Electrolux /GE. Remember when you shop online and look at reviews- companies pay people to write great reviews but not to write bad ones. So take special note of the poor reviews. Consumer affairs has them as a 1 star company.

Frigidaire Gallery Double Oven Range - We bought the range about a month ago. A couple of days ago, I reached out my right hand to open the top oven door and jammed my baby finger into one of the vent openings at the front of the door sustaining a deep gash on the pad of that finger. Today, I used my left hand to hang a dishtowel on the handle of the top oven and jammed the baby finger of that hand into the vent again sustaining a deep cut on the pad of that finger. I have small grandchildren here often and I am worried about those openings on the top oven door. Terrible design and dangerous.

We purchased our Frigidaire convection oven at Home Depot about 3 years ago. It has worked great till tonight. We were baking potatoes for dinner (in what we thought was a 400 degree oven) when, after about 30 minutes, the oven started beeping non stop and 'F10' was flashing on the display. The stove top was very hot to touch and a strong electrical smell was filling our house. The oven window was dark brown. I opened the oven door, thinking there was an oven fire and the heat that came from the oven was overwhelming! I was unable to turn off the oven, so my husband finally tripped the breaker. After reading all the other reviews, we will be keeping the breaker off and getting a new oven tomorrow!!

If I could give them a negative star I definitely would. I began replacing the appliances in my kitchen with Frigidaire about 5 years ago. I had problems with the refrigerator. Thank goodness it was covered under warranty, the condenser or something had to be replaced. I also had problems with the water in the door of the freezer. The paddle broke twice. The first time they sent me a new one to replace it.The real issue is the Frigidaire stove. This past Saturday night My husband woke me up about 12:30 am. The house was full of thick white smoke that burned our lungs and eyes. My 83 year old mother lives with us. We determined there was no fire just smoke. We began clearing the smoke out of the house. We then noticed a skillet on the stovetop smoking. The knobs were all turned to off but the stove had cooked that skillet. Its a wonder it didnt catch my house on fire.I contacted Frigidaire this morning. At first they told me it was not on the recall list and they could send me to an authorized repair person. After insisting to talk to someone else, I got Tiffany a corporate representative. She also advised it was not on the recall list. She did offer me 50% off repair. I actually laughed. I said your appliance came on by itself, almost killed me, my husband and my mother, could have burned my house down and you are going to offer me 50% off fixing it? I will never buy another Frigidaire and will do as much as possible to keep anyone else from buying Frigidaire. The offer to fix my problem was definitely not even close to what they should have done.

2 years ago we purchased 3 Frigidaire appliances, their French doors fridge model FPHB2899PF2, their gas slide in range and their dishwasher all in the Professional series. At the one year mark the dishwasher broke down and required replacement parts that Electrolux was aware of. The oven racks (3) are all approximately 1/4 inch too small. So when you put almost any weight on them they fall to the bottom of the oven. Best yet just shy of the 2 year mark the door ice maker died. We called Electrolux service who directed us to our local repair company who arrived at our house and spent 4 minutes and $100 to tell us that this particular Frigidaire fridge was garbage and that he has repaired or tried to many in his area. He told us ours was non-repairable. Long story short we daughter for numerous emails and calls with Electrolux to only end up with a partial credit towards a new purchase which would cover approximately 35% of the replacement cost. At this point we gave up. We did however reach out to Leons Furniture where we purchased the group only to be totally ignored! Needless to say we spend all of our efforts spreading our message.

We purchased our slide-in oven in 2010. Its functioning OK. The faceplate on the control panel is de-laminating and looks unsightly. Unfortunately the faceplate comes only as part of the control panel assembly which costs $378. I contacted Frigidaire online and requested if the face plate could be obtained separately and/or if there was any financial assistance they could provide. Their email declined any financial assistance towards the repair due to the stove being out of warranty and ignored my question about obtaining only the needed faceplate. They suggested I contact customer service which I did and they reiterated that nothing could be done to assist with my issue other than purchase the control panel for $378. Also, the phone number for customer service provided in the email was an automated system that directs you to repair shop based on your zip code. I did eventually find a number for Electrolux Customer Service (888-696-3744) that I did call.

I had Frigidaire microwave over the range at home. It only lasted 4 year. I had a professional technician over to examine. He found out the product is defective because of control board and magnetrod. These 2 key parts only last 4 years. It showed the poor quality of the product. I had to buy a new one. I used Frigidaire refrigerator for only one year, and one part (timer) got broken. I had to order a new part to replace. It costed me $200+ total for labor and part to fix it. I am not satisfied with Frigidaire brand and will not recommend anyone to buy the brand. The manufacturer (Electrolux in Mississauga, Ontario) had a terrible customer service.

I bought this 26 black refrigerator in July 2013. We have had freezer problems with it since day 1. First it needed a new motherboard, then freon, then whatever... the list goes on and on. I have the Sears protection policy (thank God) but they will not replace it and say they can fix it. They havent fixed it right in 3 years; the problem is recurring and it is always with the freezer. I like the look of the freezer and the refrigerator side is fine. I do not recommend this product to you... get something else and save time. I will not buy a Frigidaire ANYTHING based on this refrigerator.

I purchased the Frigidaire Gallery Series: Side by Side Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Gas/Convection Stove and Microwave. Each have problems that continue to this day: *Refridgerator - Control panel LEDs faded so it was unreadable, tech replaced the panel but the fridge had a Quick Ice feature when new but the tech replaced it without the quick ice feature.*Dishwasher- failed to operate at all. Tech replaced the control strip with washer selections but later found that this was not the problem. It needed the controller inside the door panel which he didnt have and had to order one. Waited two weeks for it to be replaced. Takes multiple attempts to get the washer turned on for cleaning. # Stove initial delivery came damaged. Replaced but after awhile gas smells emanate while using the oven, seems to be a chronic issue with this appliance. *Microwave - sounds tinny and cooks unevenlyI signed up with Frigidaire website and noted all of the above. Attempted to see if there was a response to my entry and found none. There was never any contact from them. Prior to that I posted my dissatisfaction on Facebook and received a message from a person that might have been a customer rep. When I attempted to contact this person I could not find the message again on Facebook. The issues all the appliances remain the same today. The oven is rarely used due to the gas smells/leaks. I understand that it might be an issue with a baffle??? I am totally dissatisfied with these appliances and even more so with Frigidaire/Electrolux lack of ownership of the brand and non-responsiveness from them as a company.

2015 we bought all new Frigidaire appliances. Very disappointed. Refrigerator back Iced up and rusted out. Frigidaires fix was to put a 1 and 1/4 thick foam on the back of the frig. Now the fridge sticks out even further from the wall, I wouldnt be able to see if it were iced over with the foam on the back, and the ice machine hasnt worked the same since the repair. Our double oven burns food on the edges. Frigidaire put one of the largest burners towards the back so that the heat from the burner melts the face of the control board. Had it replaced once already and it is melted again. Our Dishwasher wont work on all the setting. If we select Power wash, we end up with water all over the floor. We get constant power failures also. If I could give a zero rating I would. Im surprised this company hasnt been sued. Last I spoke to Frigidaire, I was told that they could help me find a service provider and that once I pot them to fix the issue, they could then offer me an extended warranty. Seriously???

Purchased a Frigidaire cooktop stove in 10/19/2019. Model # FFGC3626SSE Serial # 3F92501805. Order #**. At Home Depot. A week ago. I turned on one of the burners and I couldnt turn it off. Had a panic attack that I couldnt shut the gas off. The knob just spun around on the shaft. I pulled off one of the other knobs and used it to shut the gas off. I looked at that knob and it was cracked too. The other 3 knobs were split also. One more is ready to brake. I’m afraid to use my stove. All 5 Knobs are defective! I read CNN said Frigidaire is closing their Memphis factory, and laying off 530 people in 2020. Not good. Frigidaire customer service told me knobs were considered cosmetic and not covered in the 1 yr. I asked how can such an essential part of the stove be considered cosmetic? No knobs. No gas. No cook! All I got was I would have to pay out of my pocket for 5 new knobs. Cost $221.63 and they were out of stock. I would have to wait till May 28. Told her that was not acceptable. Said they would give me half price if they could find another co. to get them from. Was told today (4/1/20) they couldnt. Now, because they couldnt get them anywhere else, the half price was off the table.I did some research and found a co. (Marcone) that has 19. Told Frigidaire. They said they didnt do business with Marcone a nationwide co. They took my info and said they would look into it. Still waiting. I have a cooktop stove with one burner out and 4 others ready to go out and no help in sight, without having to paying 1/3 the price of the cooktop and wait almost 2 mo. for knobs. Ill never buy another Electrolux product again!! In January my daughter bought us a Frigidaire refrigerator. Had one in the 80s. It lasted over 10 years. Bad mistake. I feel it’s a ticking time bomb.

We purchased an entire kitchen (Gallery series) and are very disappointed in what we purchased. The dishwasher is not cleaning so need to wash by hand. The stove is terrible. Just seems if you set a pot on it it will scratch very easy. Hard to keep clean. Ice maker jams all the time and had to replace filter 4 times already and we only use the maker once a day. I will not recommend these and when shopping I will make it a point to go by the appliance dept and let people know how bad these are.

Purchased a Frigidaire dishwasher in November 2016 but it was defective right off the bat. Water was not flowing into the unit. Waited for a serviceman who said it needed a valve, waited over 10 days for the part to arrive. Another certified repairman came to install but that was not the problem. He said a switch had not been turned to its proper position. Began using the dishwasher but on February 25, 2017 I started the dishwasher and left the house only to return to find the door of the dishwasher open, the floor wet and the electronic starter on my cooktop clicking. At some point in the cycle the door blew open. The force was great enough to spray water 6 to the cooktop.I grew up with Frigidaire products that my parents trusted and got great service but that was 50 years ago. The product today is substandard and it seems Customer Service really doesnt care. I wish I had read the online reviews before my purchase but I trusted the product. Needless to say I will never purchase another Frigidaire ANYTHING and I will discourage anyone else to do the same.

On first day we put small bowl on the table with rice and biscuit the rack to warm up. It started sparking and burn edges of rack along with burn marks on the plastic tabs holding rack. Called Jeff Lynch. Platinum service tech came. He called Frigidaire tech dept and was told the Frigidaire can not warranty mis-application, we are not suppose to use rack. Jeff Lynch took same attitude. The tech said he can touch up burn marks. We had Maytag Microwave for over fifteen years and it had rack and turn rack. Used it exactly same way. Never arch. We purchased a complete suite of Gallery kitchen appliances approximately 2 years ago. Some observations: they look nice but the dishwasher leaked and damaged the kitchen floor. Negotiating repairs was a hassle. Since repaired, no new problem(s). Does a reasonable job but Bosch washers are clearly superior. PS: I ate the floor damage repairs rather than do the dance with Frigidaire. They are not easy to work with. The refrigerator froze items in the bins. There was a part missing (possibly an upgrade that was not with the unit) that diverted frozen/refrigerated air into the bin area. I installed it - it is better now. The unit moans, groans, squeaks, sighs, moans as though its possessed. We were told its normal. Normal? Maybe. Annoying for sure. The ice dispenser shoots ice all over the place. The exterior stainless surfaces are thin. They are generally non-smudge but the door handles are not. The range (glass top) controls suck. The porcelain finish chips very easily. The oven is fine, the convection feature is very nice. The microwave oven is OK. The controls and timer - reminder beeps are annoying. Would I buy them again? No. Id happily pay more for a superior product.

I have sent this to Frigidaire twice now in two weeks with no call or reply. Their auto-reply states you will get a call back within 48 hours. We purchased some land and built a house on it in October of 2014. I went online and compared ratings for the 5 appliances we were going to put in our new house. Frigidaire was one of the few that had pretty solid ratings for all five appliances we needed. We had our builder work with his appliance company which was out of I think Tappahannock, Virginia. They ordered and installed all of them. The appliances we purchased are as follows: Dishwasher (Mod# FGID2474QF0A SN# KH41722641), Refrigerator (Mod# FFSS2614QS0 SN# 4A42730844), Cook Top Stove (Mod# FPEC3685H5A SN# 3535107151), Microwave (Mod# FGMV175QFA SN# KG42705552), Double Oven (Mod# FFET2725PSC SN# AF41601871).Here is a list of the issues to date. Microwave - before we could even use it the front door had issues and it had to be replaced. Refrigerator - this issue still exists and is the latest issue we have experienced. Ice Maker not getting water to the ice maker. I have changed the filter and worked with your support person and the issue still exists. Cook Top Stove - this was the biggest issue we had. Little Appliance came to our house at least 6 times for this unit. We went without a stove for 3 weeks or more one time and a week or two another time. After several attempts they finally replaced the whole unit. Dishwasher - The operator panel was just locking up intermittently and I think after two visits they replaced the board for this issue. Double Oven - this issue still exist as well. When the unit says it is preheated I believe it is the top over still is not as hot as the bottom oven. We were told to give it an extra 15 to 20 minutes after it says it is preheated. I would like a call back from a manager within Frigidaire to discuss these issues. Some additional Information - we have three people that use the products in this house all at the age of 48 and up. No kids.

Frigidaire is not standing behind their product. The control panel on our 6 year Frigidaire Professional Series double oven wall started blinking. We already replaced the control panel in 2013. We were incredulous. We called Frigidaire and were told, The blinking lights signified the control panel appeared to be broken. They advised us to have a certified repair man visit to be sure it was the control panel. We did ($80). It was; so we called them back and ordered it. They took our order. 18 days later we called. They said they did not have the part and had refunded our money. They never notified us.Today Frigidaire told me they discontinued the stove and have no parts available. I searched online and called local stores. No parts available for a 6 year old stove. They did not tell us this when they advised us to get the repair person. We expect a stove to last much more than 6 years and are very upset the control panel would malfunction twice in 6 years!!! They offered us nothing. We are very upset since Frigidaire was always a name we trusted. Never again.

They called it Intermittent Freezing. Yet the place that I purchased it from (though nice) did not offer to replace & I think they could. They are to have someone come out & look at it again. I WANT A NEW ONE! I didnt pay almost 700 dollars to have a brand new refrigerator already need several repairs. Then later when it has more problems Ill have to pay for it. Quite frankly Id love my money back & Id buy a totally different brand. My last refrigerator lasted me around 30 years with NO problems during this time. SO far I am not happy with the place that I purchased the refrigerator from as I believe they could offer to replace it immediately. I am not happy with Frigidaire so far. I will be happiest with a total refund. I would happy with them EASILY offering & providing me with a brand new refrigerator that is not this model/serial number & a better refrig. I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator on 5/31/14 (approximately 6 months ago) from Lowes. The refrigerator portion stopped cooling. I contacted the 1-800 number and I was instructed by recording to enter my zip code. I entered my zip code and was told by the same recording that they had no service providers in my area and I would have to call a 706 area code number. I dont live in the boonies. I live in Scottsdale, which is a suburb of Phoenix, AZ. I called the 706 number and had to wait on hold for 30 minutes before the call was answered. I was told that they dont have any service providers where I live (once again not in the boonies, right next to Phoenix). They would have someone call my by Monday (I called them on Wednesday) and would schedule a service call then. Who knows how long from Monday it will take them to come out. When I explained that time was of the essence due to the fact that I store insulin in my refrigerator, it was suggested that I purchase a industrial refrigerator. I suggested that Frigidaire manufacture a refrigerator that last longer than 6 months. I was then asked to take a survey. REALLY????

I purchased a Frigidaire upright freezer in July of 2021. By the end of December, the freezer had an indicator light blinking which mean the temperature was dropping inside. I had almost $400 worth of food which was thawing and had to be thrown out. This happened New Years weekend, and I was not able to contact Frigidaire until Tuesday, January 4th, when they reopened from the holidays. They sent a technician immediately out the next day, January 5th, and he noted that 5 different components of the freezer had gone bad and needed to be replaced. He also mentioned that hed had over 20 different calls on the same freezer, which the same issues with the 5 components failing. I called back to Frigidaire on January 5, 2022, and told the representative that five components failing was not a fluke but a defect in the unit. I also noted that this model freezer was discontinued....I wonder why? The representative told me that if they were unable to order the five components within 7 to 10 business days, I could get a refund. No one contacted me and I called back on the 11th business day, which was January 20th. I spoke to both a representative and her supervisor and they told me that I would not receive a refund, but would simply have to wait until they received the backordered parts. I asked her what timeline would be reasonable, and she said she didnt know, I would just have to wait! I demanded a refund, and she refused. She said the only way I would get a refund is if the technician declared the freezer unrepairable, which, clearly they will not do. All the while, I am without a freezer, lost over $400 in food, and the 1 year warranty is ticking away. By the time the unit is repaired, I will then be out of warranty and out of luck not if, but when it breaks down again. All I was offered is $100 in food replacement. I want a refund and want this freezer declared defective.

The crisper drawers squeal terribly when you slide them in and out because there are no rollers. Just plastic gliding on plastic (dumb design), and my food gets frozen in the crisper drawer randomly. The dishwasher develops a foul odor unless you leave the door open all the time. The consumer hot line told me this was normal and I need to run white vinegar through it occasionally. Well, my kitchen is small and leaving the door open in a real pain. The microwave doesnt have a reheat button on it, instead they labeled a button chicken nuggets. What? So far so good on the electric range, but it is hard to keep it from looking smeared as it is a solid black. Shame on me for not going over every detail while shopping I guess, but my 20-year-old Whirlpool and Maytag appliances were better made for sure. Disappointed :(

I purchased this unit in May 2016. Immediately, the dryer started with a screeching noise when it heated up. I have had 3 repair companies out 8 times since May and replaced everything possible in the dryer part and it still has the same noise when heated. When talking to anyone in the corporate office whether it be the person answering the phone or a supervisor, they have approached the concerns with apathy. I was even told by one repair company that Frigidaire would just stall until I give up.Basically, the consumer is at the mercy of the manufacturer and how they interpret the necessity of replacing a unit. I even have the noise issue on video and it doesnt seem to create any concerns to them. This company has no integrity at all. If they treat their employees like they treat the people that are purchasing their crappy products, its no wonder they are apathetic. Consumer protection agency should take note of sketchy companies like this and shut them down. Warranties arent worth the paper they are written on.

Do not buy Frigidaire washing machine! I bought one just 6 months ago. I have had the repairman out here last month. Now, this month, he needs to come again! I cant return it to Lowe’s because they dont take exchanges, returns, or refund on major appliances! So I think I will also never buy another major appliance from Lowe’s and definitely not another Frigidaire product of any kind. The shocks went immediately! Now, once again, they need replacing! Sadly, I didnt get the extended warranty. I figured my last washer lasted 12 years and I never had a warranty on any of my other appliances, so I didnt need one this time. That was a big mistake because, unfortunately, Frigidaire doesnt stand well behind their appliances, and they dont stay working for long either! The customer service number that Lowe’s gives needs help too. They cant get scheduling correct, and their computers are down a lot. So, they say it needs to break 3 times on the same item to maybe get a replacement? For real? It is only 6 months old and I am on the second problem! Shame on Frigidaire and Lowe’s! Guess we better start shopping Home Depot. No more Lowe’s either!

Model # - FRsss2323AS0 or O Serial # -4A14107574. Order number for missing parts: ** waiting on shipment since Feb 25, 2022. Where is the tracking number. My mother has been waiting on missing parts for her new fridge since January 2022. I have called a few times just to simply get the tracking number for the order shipped out I was told on February 25, 2022. They have all the details on file from the specs as to which parts are missing (deli tray 3,4,5 which is specs 48,49) and (Crisper tray 49) as well as a fridge logo. This was covered by Mykia, she told me that the order was held but never go back to me as to why it was held. I spoke with Ann who told in early Feb. She told me by Feb 25 2022 the missing parts will be shipped. I spoke to Sirena told March 14 she hung up on me and but told me she would place me on hold to go retrieve the tracking number, enter hang up a dial tone. Someone either did not do the reorder for the missing parts or the shipped is still not out yet. Either way when a customer calls if the CS rep does not know the answer as to why the order hasnt been shipped or cant even provide the tracker number for the missing parts, this only means people are slipping on the cs service skills. From January until March 14 2022 my mother is still waiting on missing parts. WHY? Can I get a order tracking number without cs reps hanging up or just the honesty of what is really going on here. Tomorrow I will call back and just request to speak with a supervisor or manager because these are simple questions that only require simple answers. WHERE IS THE TRACKING NUMBER FOR THE MISSING PARTS???

We have been highly disappointed with our Frigidaire Products (owned by Electrolux). We bought Frigidaire Gallery Professional Series in 2003, a refrigerator, a range, a microwave and a dishwasher. So far, we have had the fridge repaired four times, the range once due to a recall item and now the microwave quit working. We are waiting for something to go wrong with the dishwasher. Frigidaire used to be a reliable company, no longer. I would strongly recommend not buying their products. Frigidaire customer services only comment was to say they were sorry for the inconvenience.

We have had our Frigidaire Affinity for EIGHT years with no problems whatsoever--till yesterday. The washer stalled on the spin cycle. Problem was wads of some kind of matted, tarry stuff on the drain filter. Stuff that comes off dirty clothes? Don't think I cleaned the washer every time it asked "Clean washer"? And think maybe that was the problem. OR, how to get out the gunk that accumulates on the filter? Where is my manual? Can't find. Otherwise, I have been DELIGHTED with my wonderful, stalwart Frigidaire Affinity. And even this problem is probably just use-related. And, it might be my own darned fault, just as Jimmy Buffett said.

My Frigidaire Professional series dishwasher model PLD4375RFC0 started flashing the ER error code this month, exactly 4 years after it was installed new in 2007. It is now unusable and I have to leave the door open slightly because if it is closed, it will turn itself on at random. I have searched the internet and seen others with the same model have the same problem. I researched the parts affected and along with labor, it will be about half the cost of the dishwasher when it was new. I have a Frigidaire microwave, stove, and fridge also and now I am waiting for those to start failing. I will be replacing the dishwasher with another brand in the hope that I can squeeze more than 4 years out of it, but from the way things are made today, who knows.

We purchased over $4,000 of new appliances when we remodeled our kitchen in 2010. At the time, Frigidaire was the only company that produced a smudge proof stainless counter depth refrigerator. This is by far the worst buying decision I have ever made after buying appliances for 40 years. The dishwasher racks and the stainless front panel began to rust at 3 years old. The refrigerator never ever cooled properly causing to lose produce to freeze and spoil. The temperature constantly fluctuates, consequently, your temperature control does absolutely no good. If you lower the temperature to keep products like milk, butter, jellies, etc., at 37 degrees the produce compartments go below 32 degrees. We just paid a $430 repair bill for a new control board and we still have the same cooling issues. There is most definitely a design flaw with this refrigerator! The microwave had to be replaced due to failure. It simply stopped at 4 years old. The slide in stove has not caused any problems except for cleaning the glass top surface which requires more work than the floors. Everyone that reads this review should believe every word and please take my advice... STAY AWAY FROM FRIGIDAIRE!!!

The Frigidaire Refrigerator we purchased started developing extreme frost in the freezer from the day we purchased it. The Frigidaire Warranty Program sent 6 different repair guys out to change the freezer seal, heat up the freezer seal and reapply it, adjust the freezer door, adjust the hinges, replace the fan motor, still extreme frost from some type of air leak in the unit. They will not replace it. Theyve spent way more in parts and service than a new refrigerator would cost. The Corporate Manager who was supposed to call me back to advise on the refund of the warranty has not called back. If you get a refrigerator get the Lowes PROTECTION PLAN. LOWES has resolved this problem when Frigidaire would not. This company does not take care of its customers.

The Frigidaire FFGC3626SS 5 pilot gas range is very pretty and I like everything about it - EXCEPT - The knobs started breaking within a month of installation and all 5 knobs broke 3X within the first year. I was given two free sets, but now, since it is a few weeks past 1yr from purchase (but within 1 year of actual installation & use). I am being offered new knobs at $17.00 each (the full price is $75.00 each for PLASTIC knobs). There is no warranty on the new knobs. The Frigidaire website is FULL of 1 star reviews due to these knobs breaking. Apparently, the heat from the range makes the stems on the knobs brittle & the stems snap & making the knobs completely useless. I did not buy the extended warranty - One reviewer stated that the knobs are not covered by it anyway, but I havent confirmed that. I am down to 1 working knob on a 14 month old gas range. BTW, the size is unique & hard to fit with universal knobs from other makers. Run Away from Frigidaire Range Tops!!!

Refrigerator - French door - side by side: Ice maker has not worked properly since we have had the Refrigerator. Completely stopped making ice - technician has been out twice - extended delay time in getting parts. Noisiest Refrigerator we have ever had. Now the replacement water filter ($45) will not click into place & neither will the old one. Dishwasher: Again very noisy. Stays stuck in cycle - technician out twice. Doesnt clean as well as previous dishwashers. Serious quality issues. I will not buy Frigidaire products again.

We have had many Frigidaire products over the years. Not sure what happened
We have had many Frigidaire products over the years. Not sure what happened to them, but they are certainly not what they used to be. Our latest... a new Frigidaire dishwasher, the master control board failed at 2 years and one month, just past warranty. And their service? Was a huge fail! They did not care. It was clearly a manufacturing quality control problem for that to fail. But the response from Frigidaire was they did not care. And, they had no interest in taking the machine or board back to see what went wrong with it (despite our offer). It was like they knew there was a problem... but they just did not care. So, we replaced it with an American made Whirlpool, and will do the same with the fridge and freezer. And we will never go back to Frigidaire again. For others, I recommend you research your purchases carefully.

BUYER BEWARE! In March of 2015 I purchased all new Frigidaire smudge proof
BUYER BEWARE! In March of 2015 I purchased all new Frigidaire smudge proof appliances, spending almost $6,000.00. I am not impressed at all. Right off the bat, I had an issue with the dishwasher. It was not drying the dishes, I had to manually dry the dishes as I put them away. After several days, I knew something was wrong, so I contacted Lowes (where I purchased them) and they made an appointment for a Frigidaire service call. The gentleman that came out to check it out, was a little surprised to see there was no fan or blower located in the dishwasher which normally dries the dishes, so he contacted Frigidaire for repairs.Needless to say, I was told by the Frigidaire folks that The dishwasher was working the way that it was meant to. With the new technology no blower or fan is needed. What you need to do is after the cycle runs, (which takes about 126 mins or so on a normal cycle) you must open the door and let the hot steam out so the dishes can dry. REALLY??? LOL, I run my dishwasher at night while sleeping, if they think Im going to get up at 2 in the morning to open the dishwasher door so the dishes can dry they are nuts. If this is Frigidaires new technology, I suggest they go back to the old way. (Not happy.)Next is the Refrigerator. The Ice maker is horrible. You can stand there for several minutes and IF youre lucky an small ice cube will dispense into the glass. By the time you get an entire glass of ice, its already melting in the glass. And forget it if you need a lot of ice (ex: in an ice tea maker) it does not make enough ice for that. (Not happy.)Lastly is the Range. After 2 weeks, which I used it 3 times I noticed little bubbles started to appear on the smooth top range. At first I thought it was dirty so I used the little pad and the bottle of cleaner that came with the Range, but to my dismay I realized the smooth top is bubbling, so again I contacted Frigidaire and they sent someone out for a service call. The gentleman looked at it and took photos to send in for review. After 3 weeks, when I had not heard anything I contacted Frigidaire. I was told that some how I had damaged the top and they would replace the top, but I would have to pay almost $200.00 for the part!!! Wait a minute, I had only used it 3 times, and did not scrap it or spill over on it or anything, how could I have damaged it??? First of all I had a Whirlpool smooth top range for 20 yrs, and never did the top bubble like this, and YES, I did spill things on that from time to time. So I guess this means that Frigidaire ranges are not able to handle any normal spills! (Not happy.) The only good thing that I can say about this product, is the smudge proof coating, yes that is a nice feature. Will I ever buy another Frigidaire product - ABSOLUTELY NOT! Will I ever recommend a Frigidaire product - ABSOLUTELY NOT!

Purchased Frigidaire Professional Series gas stove & refrigerator from Lowes 2 years ago. STOVE: model fpgf3077qfb. The ink on stove faceplate, indicating the functions; bake, broil, convection, clean, etc and the temperature numbers are rubbing off. Cannot read the function or the temperature. Frigidaire states there is no fix for this and I would have to replace the entire faceplate. Cost of part $130.00. (who would install & how much?) The face plate becomes so hot when oven is on, it is difficult to use touchpad timer-ouch! Hot! Product failure not covered under warranty. Single nurse in my 60s, do not bake every day or even every week. Have not used harsh or abrasive cleaning products. Stovetop grates are uneven and you cannot pull a pot across the top -- it catches and you have to lift the pot to move it off a burner. Additionally, poor design on oven door. Vent slots are so sharp and unfinished I have cut my fingers and fingernails when opening the door. Oven racks are difficult to slide in and out. REFRIGERATOR: model fpbc2277rf5: Ice cube function on refrigerator door jams continuously and you have to remove the ice tray, pour out the ice and adjust the screw. The crushed ice function sprays ice everywhere. Old fashion ice trays would be better. I DO NOT RECOMMEND FRIGIDAIRE PRODUCTS.

Updated on 05/27/2020: This is an update to a post of an original review July 18, 2019 on the Frigidaire FFAD5033R1 dehumidifier. I did receive a replacement unit from Electrolux later in the summer of 2019. I was surprised as it just showed up in a box at my door. I used the dehumidifier the rest of summer 2019 with no issues. It is now almost June of 2020 and Ive powered it up for the summer. I am very disappointed to say that its already displaying the FO error code. Not even a full summer of use to this point. Ive sent the required information to Electrolux, again. I dont understand why they dont fix whatever the issue is with these dehumidifiers, or totally scrap the design and start over.Original Review: I purchased dehumidifier in 2017, used for that summer and 2018. Turned on in 2019 and found that refrigerant had leaked out, due to rust all over evaporator coil. This explained a reddish color in water when I dumped the tank. I didnt see the rust until I removed the back cover to inspect. I contacted Customer Service. They send a form and instructions to complete for unit replacement. I complied, but its been 50 days and response. This unit was obviously rusting from the day I purchased. Ive seen other complaints with pictures showing the exact same issue that I had. The design is faulty and Frigidaire no doubt knows this, but assumes it will be out of warranty by the time it totally fails. This was the last Frigidaire product I will ever own. Buyer beware! If you do take a chance, you should probably remove whatever covers you can and inspect as soon as you get it home.

More often than not there are dry spots. We had the repairman out twice and his only solution for the problem was to add a pail of water before starting the machine, so to trick it to think that the weight was more. Also it is the nosiest washer we have ever owned!! It sounds like a cement mixer when it is running. Phone calls to Sears and Frigidaire go unanswered. Back in August 25th, 2006 I purchased 3 Frigidaire products: stainless burner gas cooktop, a double gas wall oven and an over-the-range microwave oven from AjMadison. Out of the 3 two are broken or dont function properly. I had my entire downstairs, which included the kitchen completely, remodeled. In 2007 all the new appliances were installed. I started having problems almost right away with the microwave. The hinges started to get really loose to the point of not being able to use it unless we held the door shut. Then the exhaust fan started coming on at will. We had to literally have to unplug the exhaust fan cord. A repairman came out and we thought he had fixed the problem but shortly after that every time we use the microwave it sounds like its about to exploded. The noise is that loud. Now our gas double oven door hinges broke. We had two repairmen at different times that tried to fix the hinges but it can not be fixed or replaced. The whole oven unit has to be replaced because this stupid oven is a one piece unit. I contacted Frigidaire and they said that there is nothing that they can or will do about it because they are no under warranty anymore and that I should have purchased an extended warranty. How dare them! A person should not have to purchase anything extra not unless they want to not have to so that these cheaply made appliances will be covered for some repairs. This company has known for a very, very long time that most of their appliances have serious problems. I refuse to pay for the items I already paid for once. Im sorry, I wont cut the mustard with me. Im very upset and something needs to be done about this on-going problem; otherwise, more people like us will get taken to the bank. We are retired people. I should be enjoying my retirement rather than trying to figure out how Im supposed to pay to replace these things. My question to all of you who are going through these problems with me is what are we going to do about it? I want to file a class action lawsuit. Are you with me or not?

It appears (according to service repair man) Frigidaire ss side by side PHSC239DSBO has a wiring harness issue. It falls into the drip pan shorting it out which could cost $300 for a circuit board if that would correct the problem. He states Frigidaire knows of the problem but refused to do a recall. My neighbor and husband rewired the harness and strapped it up so that it will not fall into the drip pan again. Presto, I have power to freezer side. I called Frigidaire for help and they referred me to the service man who in turn stated the repair was out of his league. So, I called back Frigidaire to get someone else. I have yet to hear from them again. In the meantime, we fixed it ourselves. If Frigidaire had only strapped the wiring harness up to begin with, I would not have a problem. It is possible that the harness could have blown my compressor. Luckily, this was not the case. Just a piece of plastic did the job.

Frigidaire appliances are the worst. We bought the Frigidaire Gallery series, all four major appliances - brand new from Appliance Factory Outlet. I will NEVER buy Frigidaire again and will not buy from Appliance Factor Outlet again. We paid extra to get the gallery series so fingerprints are less noticeable and apparently the extra money is only for that feature because the appliances have been nothing but trouble. Within 2 years we have had 7 repair calls on our refrigerator (ice machine not working, ice machine freezing/seizing up, doors not sealing, under drawer freezer ice build up, etc. etc. etc.). One time the complete cooling system went out and we had to throw out a bunch of food, of which they do not care about. Thank goodness we had the extended 10 year warranty or else we probably would have spent enough money to buy another refrigerator on service calls. Appliance Factory Outlet was less than helpful. They clearly had the attitude that its not their problem. They want the sale without any customer service. The warranty people (Brand Source) are irritated every time I have to place another repair call. I actually had Brand Source correct me after I said you guys have been out to my house a million times and she sarcastically said they told me that I have had only 7 repair calls. Unbelievable. Now we are 3 years into our new appliances and the dishwasher has broke 2 times. Unfortunately, we do not have the extended warranty on that. The oven also has had issues but suffice it to say - never buy Frigidaire appliances. I called the corporate office and they said you have to have 4 occurrences OF THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM before they will consider a replacement. I guess 7 or 8 calls on a brand new fridge isnt troublesome to them.

Frigidaire Gallery Series only worthy of a shooting gallery. Upon purchasing our new townhouse from a developer we opted to upgrade our appliances - all of which were Frigidaire products including washer, dryer, dishwasher, stove. A garden hose and a table fan would have been more effective than either the washer dryer combo or the dishwasher. Despite being labelled as commercial, heavy duty, super capacity it doesnt take an active imagination to realize that it must have been opposite day when the marketing team drunkenly scribbled the copy they wanted to label the washer/dryer with. We consistently have to remove wet clothes from the dryer and run it again with only a handful of pieces. It usually takes three complete cycles on the highest heat setting to dry even the most modest load of laundry. The washer stops mid cycle on account of being over weighted with a single set of bedsheets The same goes for the dishwasher which takes over 3 noisy hours to run a single normal setting wash, only to find half the pre-rinsed dishes still need to be hand washed. Complete waste of money and time. AVOID AT ALL COST.

We have purchased two Frigidaire Professional ranges, and neither will work. The part number is FPEF3081KF. Frigidaire is saying that the problem is the electrical service in this part of the US (Kansas), however, we arent having any problems with the Frigidaire Gallery, GE, Samsung, or Whirlpool appliances in this same small development. Supposedly Frigidaire is replacing one range (with what knows what), and says the other doesnt qualify because its not a manufacturing defect.I cant follow the logic there, since neither one will work. I guess Kansas must be the equivalent of a third world country and we just shouldnt expect to be able to buy appliances and actually have them work. Another Frigidaire representative says that replacement power supplies are being engineered, and they should be available in a few weeks. In the meantime, two military families are living without being able to cook. If you want logical and caring customer service, dont buy a Frigidaire. Frigidaire thinks its okay for people to wait weeks for repairs.

We bought our appliances 4 yrs ago. Dishwasher doesnt clean good and started leaking after 3 weeks. REFRIGERATOR has been garbage from the get go. We paid 2500 for a refrigerator that only had a yr warranty. So far we have spent another 1000 on it because its junk! I will never purchase Frigidaire products again. I have a GE refrigerator that we have had for 20 yrs and it works better than the new one. Needless to say I will seek out old appliances before I ever buy a new one again. They made them cheap, sell them for thousands and rip off the consumer. Nothing like big business!!

Its systems are super easy to maintain and clean. Very cold air is produced and it's very quiet compared to other products. It's also very affordable and space saving on certain units. It has been great overall. Product quiet and effective. Not much water waste either for those who don't like to waste. I enjoy it a lot after a hard day of hot work. Cool, sleek design on some products. They're very edgy and give a home or business that extra touch that makes it seem more modern and beautiful. It has never given me any trouble in almost 3 years. Best investment of my life. I just clean it externally and let it rest for a few hours a day. Other than that nothing needs to be done.

We bought this refrigerator and the noise of the unit is very loud. The unit works perfectly but because of its design the unit produces more noise from its compressor than any refrigerator Ive ever heard. If I knew this I would have opted for a different refrigerator. The so-called stainless steel is not stainless steel and if at any time the protective finish is compromised on inside or outside it will rust. Its not right that you can say stainless steel and the metal is not stainless steel. To prove this point you should not be able to have strong magnetic properties with stainless steel because of the lack of iron in the material and yet the so-called stainless steel does work as well as plain steel which will rust. I hope this helps other unsuspecting consumers when they meet with fraudulent marketing tactics that we all must deal with more than ever today.

Im writing on behalf of my daughter who is due to give birth any day now and who has waited since January for Frigidaire to make right a product that does not work. In the last four weeks, Ive spent nearly 8 hours on hold BEFORE I could actually talk to someone, and though it has been 8 months, the replacement dishwasher which Frigidaire was supposed to deliver has not been delivered. On two occasions, delivery men have brought out a new dishwasher but then, mysteriously, the new machine was deemed broken in delivery and impossible to install. Ive been instructed to send copies of documents to prove our purchase even though they have record of the fact that she owns it. I am waiting for Frigidaire to deliver a serial tag to me - Im supposed to attach it to a rebate email. I have never received the tag.My belief is that Frigidaire is attempting to get out of replacing the product which has never worked by delaying until it is no longer in warranty. They are a dishonest company, run by incompetents or worse, they are criminals and are happy to take money and try to grind consumers down by making their service impossible to get all the while recorded messages assure those of us on hold that Frigidaire is concerned and cares about its customers. RUN, RUN, RUN, but do not buy anything any Frigidaire.

We purchased our Frigidaire glass-top stove in July of 2011 (Model #LGEF3045KFE). Within six months, it started showing symptoms. Whenever we used two burners and the oven at the same time, the entire unit would shut down. After cooling down (and flipping the breaker switches for the stove circuit), the stove would reset and wed be able to use it again (as long as we only used one burner and the oven). This happened a few times the first year; it happened a few more times the second year. I kept thinking I didnt have a large enough circuit breaker for the stove, until it happened again for the last time. The stove would not reset. NONE of the burners, nor the oven, worked. Thats when I went online and found out that there were a lot of people complaining about the same problem. When I contacted Frigidaire, they said it was MY problem since the one-year warranty period had expired, even though my stove had started showing problems DURING the warranty period.Frigidaire has refused to stand by its product (which is TERRIBLE, by the way). As a result, I will NEVER buy anything made by Frigidaire ever again. I am telling all of my friends to stay away from their products because of their shoddy workmanship, lousy customer service, and useless warranty. Appliances should last for 10-20 years before breaking down. Ive been a homeowner for 30 years. I have NEVER had to fix ANY of my appliances - until I bought a Frigidaire. Never again.

It was scary, especially since we have young children walking by. Bad workmanship. Horrible experience!

Life was good - a new home, new furniture, new appliances!!! But then Frigidaire introduces themselves into my life and the storybook tale of my dreams turns into Nightmare in the Valley! My wife and I buy a model KFHB2741PF5A stainless Frigidaire Refrigerator from their local retail outlet ($1950.00). The demon refrigerator was angry that day my friends as it decided that it would no longer produce ice! 6/13/15 Frigidaire Cust. Serv. was called and they promised to have service come on 6/16/15. Days & days pass w/ not a peep! 9/26/15 I call Frigidaire again to be told Its OK, we will send a different repair service co. to check your Frig. Well my friends, she must have heard the anger in my voice about her lack of ice production and now she begin to growl! And not the growl of a small domestic tabby who has not received her kibbles and bits on time but the guttural, rumble of feral wildcat that had been in a fight to the death with her archrival from the dairy farm next door and was now having a vet squeeze the 4 week old battle wound abbess of the yellow puss and discharge!! Yes, yes, she was very angry now and her internal fan begun to incessantly rumble, roar and hum all day and all night long! She has the consistent annoyance of Newman! Even as I pass her I cant help but to say Heeeellllooooo Neewwwmmmaaannn! (She has a name now). 10/6/2015 I know this will come as a complete surprise but still not a call, an email, smoke signal from the new service co. who was coming soon after 9/26/15. And here we are today after 32 minutes of on hold time. Now my call gets to Steph the Corporate Customer Service Manager who tells me Sorry but we just determined that there are NO service companies that will come to your home! I have officially been handed off to the Frigidaire Escalation Department after 4 months. When I asked to be transferred to the Corporate Office switchboard Steph told me Sorry, but thats not my department. So my friends, from a place of actual firsthand experience I can honestly say in good faith to you, when you see or hear the brand Frigidaire, RUN! Run as fast as you can, as far away as you can so you will not become like the story of my life. Please stay tuned for the rest of the story! It should prove interesting as to how they will assist their customer. And as far as well, you know, her. She continues to be barren of ice and to daily remind me verbally with the rumble of her fan motor the error of my Frigidaire purchase.

Through Home Depot in early Oct. 2013, I bought a Frigidaire pedestal for matching washer. I am tall and my back occasionally does not allow for easy bending, so I need the height w/ my front-loading Frigidaire washer. In placing items in the pedestal drawer, I slashed my finger on a razor sharp edge. There is no warning label on this product. I went to Home Depot; their associate phoned Frigidaire right in front of me to explain the problem. I personally spoke to them on her phone. They tried to discredit me immediately, saying I did not cut myself on the drawer edge - that I must have put (my) hand between bottom of washer and top of drawer. I later tried this, and my hand cannot fit in there. I repeatedly stated that the drawer was open, and my hands were inside, filling the drawer. Frigidaires answer was to send a local repair man, and he put a piece of black electrical tape over the edge and wrote on the receipt that this is a temporary fix. Frigidaire has copy of this. A day later, the tape was dangling - there must be some residue causing tape to not adhere. Long story short, in late Dec., after many complaints by me to both parties, Home Depot delivered to me another Frigidaire pedestal. I immediately checked, and it had the same razor sharp edge. I requested the store to take it back. The Home Depot manager, Dave, was away, but I was told by store staff they were told to check it for dents and scratches and knew nothing about any sharp edge - Dave never spoke to me or called me after that, so I now will not shop there, and had spent $1,000s each month there on home renovations - they are so big, so dont care. Worse, the manager on duty, Art, called it a little rough and acted like it was no big deal. To me, it IS a big deal. After cancer surgery, I am missing lymph nodes and was told to be very careful about any cuts, because I have greater chance for infection. I told both parties this. Frigidaire does not care about product safety or customer satisfaction, just dumping inferior products into the marketplace. I spoke to one of their associates who is diabetic, so she understands about the seriousness, but they refuse to do anything to properly make my product safe or to replace it with a SAFE product. I also told them they need a hazard warning label on the product - 2nd one arrived w/ none. I spent a LOT of money for their washer (the second one I bought, since I sold my house and my buyer wanted my older one). This means nothing to Frigidaire, because they know getting a lawyer will cost more than buying a second product from their competitors, so I wasted money and lots of time and effort with them. As a retiree on a small pension, I dont have money to waste. All I wanted was a safe pedestal, and both prefer to lose my business. Frigidaire deserves to be sued for product failure.

Now we are having issue again on the temperature control. We are asking for replacement the last time we called customer service last month due to several problems arising with the brand new oven for four months but they refused. Our oven is rarely used. We only used it for heating pizza. It is just frustrating because we have all these issues/problems with the brand new oven which was rarely used. There wouldnt be any issues like these if they have thorough quality control. They kept on telling us that they will not replace it because it is still repairable but we are not technicians. Received a damaged refrigerator and reported the damage to the appliance store. The damage is a bent frame behind the bottom kick plate. The appliance store contacted the distributor with no results. I then contacted Frigidaire customer service and they did not stand behind their product with a repair or replacement. Their response was that their warranty only covered manufacturing issues and that a damaged frame (bent) was not a manufacturing defect. They pointed the finger at the appliance store and/or the distributor and left me to resolve the issue. In addition to the bent frame, this is the noisiest refrigerator I have ever owned!.

Stove top and oven work fine and I do a lot of cooking and baking. It's simple to use. Don't like appliances with too many features that make them complicated to operate. I have had 2 brand new houses with Frigidaire appliances. The first set we chose, getting better than contractor-grade items, paying extra. The second house, we had no choice in brands, only color. Basically, we hate them. Both fridges have pooped out and needed fixing, and the first one was twice, going over a week without a fridge. Second one was covered by warranty, and ok so far (now 4 yrs). But many other problems - many broken door shelves - this last fridge, 4 times, as well as replacing the cheapo drawers, cracking several times at the corners. We started just Gorilla Gluing them and refuse to buy anymore. And now, out of nowhere, our stovetop cracked while I slid a pot across to another burner. No clue why. And aside from this, it is so hard to clean! My mother-in-law saw where it wouldn’t come clean and kept scrubbing it until she finally realized it was not burned on food, but actually scratches she was making deeper! The time it takes to clean right, with many steps, just makes me not even want to use it to begin with. And then there is the dishwasher - both that Ive owned have never cleaned right - the one we have now has to be cleaned out so often. The cheap dishwashers we had in apartments cleaned better than both of my Frigidaires have. Never will buy again!

They said that they didnt charge enough in the beginning of the contract, and the contractor will keep calling me at work and on my cell until I paid them. All my attempts to explain to them that we paid what they want us to pay and that I still have the invoice, to no avail. We purchased this higher end Microwave from Frigidaire and the screws to the handle fell into the microwave door panel, one at a time, beginning approximately 14 months after it was purchased. The microwave does not undergo rigorous treatment as it is just two of us who live in my house and we may use it once or twice a day if we use it at all. This does not seem to be an exclusive concern as I see many reports with the same issue on the internet. Instructions to fix it have labels that warn of potential radiation leakage and there is no other viable work around. If Frigidaire is knowingly installing potentially faulty door handles with no easy fix but encouraging customers to use a certified technician and parts for a problem they know the microwave will have, then I think they should be liable for any damages and they should be required to resolve the issue.

Horrible! I will never buy another Frigidaire Product again. I have a 27 microwave oven in wall unit. I purchased the unit in June of 2009. In September 2011, the unit went out completely. Both the microwave and the oven went out. After arguing with Frigidaire for a while, I was finally able to have them cover parts to repair the unit. I had A&E Service repair the unit. They came out a total of 6 times. The first time, the person assessed the problems and had no parts on his truck, so he could not repair the unit. After Frigidaire spent over $800 in parts to repair the unit and 6 visits from A&E, the unit was finally repaired 6 weeks later. Mind you, I was not able to use my microwave or oven for 6 weeks. I have a problem with a company manufacturing a product that breaks after 2 years of use. There was a time when appliances lasted 20+ years. I understand companies wanting to make more money, but to manufacture a product that breaks after 2 years is ridiculous. Let alone the fact that they want you to purchase the extended warranty for repair, but that still costs them money for parts, supplies, gas and the customers time in having to be available for the 4-hour window for them to come out.

We live in California and purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator to put in our newly built vacation home in Arizona. I only wished I would have looked at ALL of the reviews prior to choosing this brand. Our new home was ready 2 mos earlier than expected. We called Home Depot, where we purchased it from, to get a earlier delivery date. No problem... we scheduled it and traveled the 6 hours to spend the weekend and accept delivery of our refrigerator. The refrigerator arrived, installed and THOUGHT it was good to go. The next morning we realized the refrigerator was not cooling. We could hear it running but not cold at all. Long story (which it is) short.... we finally got someone from frigidaire to listen and they said they could not replace the broken refrigerator, they had to send someone out to try and fix it. WHAT???? we do not live in AZ it is our vacation home and we are already back in CA. The rudeness and lack of compassion was unacceptable, but nothing I could do. They scheduled a service tech to come out (yes, I had to find someone in the new neighborhood that I didnt really know to give my key to so they could let them in). The service tech said it was not repairable ... DUH. I gave them the date we were returning and they said no problem.... they will deliver then. NOPE. I received the automated call saying they would be there. Waited home all day. They did not come. I finally got hold of the delivery Manager and he said they didnt even have the refrigerator in their warehouse yet. They finally, after 6 more frantic calls from me, delivered a day later at 8:30pm!!!! Purchased the fridge in May 2016 model # FFTR1821QW. Within a month it started making all kinds of noises. It was under warranty so Frigidaire sent someone out to look at the problem. They said it was a fan motor making the noise and replaced it. No sooner than a day later, the same noise, called again. Sent someone out, said they didnt know where the noise was coming from. Called again, sent someone else out who stated there have been several people calling in with the noises that are coming from the product and theres nothing that can be done. It sounds like someone is knocking at all hours of the day and night plus a crap-load of different sounds. Frigidaire says it normal for all these noises and they sent me a form letter of all the noises this could make. Frigidaire says all these noises are listed in the Owners Manual. DONT YOU GET THE OWNERS MANUAL WHEN YOU ACTUALLY OWN THE ITEM?Do not buy this product. The noises are loud, obnoxious knocking constantly. Every day they keep getting noisier and noisier. $500+ may not be a lot of money for a company like Frigidaire, but to its consumers its a lot of money to spend on a crappy fridge. I guess thats one way to make you buy a warranty, because you know its gonna break down at some point.

Purchased 4 Frigidaire Gallery products when moving into my new home. After having it for 2 months and cooking on Thanksgiving I noticed the control panel on the back was starting to warp. I contacted Lowes and a representative said it should not be doing that and to contact Frigidaire. I contacted them and they stated that if it was from cooking it is not their problem. I told them I only had it 2 months and they should make a product that would not warp when cooking. They said they had other complaints about this but they could do nothing if it was from cooking. Believe that? I paid a lot of money for this stove and never had this problem with other stoves. They said if they come out and determine that it was from cooking they were going to charge me. I still cant believe what I heard. A reputable company would be more understanding and back up their products. Beware.

I purchased all new appliances for our kitchen 3 years ago. We bought the professional series 2 door refrigerator with the bottom freezer, the professional dishwasher, the professional cooktop, the professional double oven and the gallery convection/microwave with the ventless hood.. We have had continual issues with the double oven model number fpet3077rfa. Initial install the motherboard and fans burned and almost caught our house on fire. Then we used the self cleaning mode a few months later and the upper oven had several failures and took over 2 months to get it properly repaired. Now both ovens do not cook food evenly. The back half will be burned and the front half will not be fully cooked. Two weeks ago our convection/microwave model number fgmv154clfa completely stopped working. It is not the breaker and there is power to the unit. We have called a service company but they are two weeks out before they can make it here. Our refrigerator is making strange noises and with all we have had to deal with it is overwhelming. We spent a lot of money getting what we thought was quality, top of the line appliances that would last us 10 years plus and they have been problems since day 1. We will not purchase Frigidaire products again.C.

Ordered a replacement part from this company and they sent the wrong piece. Discovered a problem with the people they have in the ordering department. They do not listen to you, make promises they never keep and the supervisors go only by the reps notes so they intentionally do not put anything in those notes to protect themselves. Called three times for a return form and I was told I never called. Ordered my part from a small business and received it in one day. Terrible customer service.Bought Frigidaire refrigerator, stove and dishwasher for the new addition in 2014. Fridge burned out the motherboard 3 years later (used a 50 year old Sears Coldspot that still works for weeks). Ice maker has always had cubes that stick so it clunks till you pull out the cube. Hardly ever use it. The one time I did turn it on and didnt hear the clunking but when I opened the door I found the entire freezer frozen in a giant ice cube from top to bottom. The dishwasher has had a heat sensor burn out. Also the wash cycle would never advanced till our repairman (not a Frigidaire repairman) told us about a design flaw. You cant use the Hot Wash Cycle ever because it will never heat the water enough to advance out of the wash cycle. The oven door has slots so if you accidentally spill you have to take the entire door apart to clean. Will never buy this product again.

Run, dont walk away from this deplorable company. I replaced ALL my kitchen appliances October 2016 with the Frigidaire Gallery series through Home Depot. Ive had 5 service calls on the refrigerator. The last serviceman advised me, Thats just the way it was made, theres nothing I can do. My most recent complaint was the handle on the dishwasher is rusting! After 22 minutes on hold I was told by the customer service rep that, If you look on page 22 on your owner’s manual, you will see that rust inside and outside the unit is not covered. After speaking with a manager, as a goodwill gesture she mailed me a new handle. Really. Goodwill? Why dont you manufacture decent products and goodwill would be implied. Consider yourselves forewarned. Dont be foolish. Dont spend your money on Frigidaire appliances.

Purchased Frigidaire all BLACK refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave.
Purchased Frigidaire all BLACK refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave. Touching the appliances causes scratches with just finger touches or trying to remove any minimum food smears leaves marks that cannot be removed. Tried using soap and water then rinsing and lightly drying with ONLY clean microfiber. This was the suggestion by Frigidaires rep. Why does a company make something used daily that will not withstand any kind of expected use, i.e. opening the doors, pressing the temperature pads, wiping off food, etc? Do not buy black. You will waste your money, be unhappy, with no solution... like us.

We purchased this oven 4 years ago and one day while warming up lunch we heard a big boom, and the glass on the outer door had shattered. When I called customer support they were not able to do anything as the oven was over a year old. Even though this is a manufacturer defect they would take no responsibility, luckily nobody was seriously hurt.

I purchased this refrigerator new about a year and a half ago. Within the first month, the entire refrigerator had to be replaced. Since then, both the upper and lower ice makers have been replaced and worked on multiple times. The refrigerator is now out of warranty. Since the warranty ran out, the ice maker has had to be worked on twice. I have now had to purchase an extended warranty to pay for parts and labor that should be covered under warranty since the problems began right after the purchase. I should NOT have had all these problems within this short time frame since purchase. I have called Frigidaire about 8 times in 4 days, and I still have not had a repairman to my house to fix the problem. To me, this is unacceptable. I am very disappointed, and I will never purchase a Frigidaire product again. Dealing with customer service has been a waste of everyones time!

Bought 15 new appliances, 3 of them need to be fixed. I have been waiting 2 months for some to service them and I still have not got the right parts and they keep on rescheduling my appointment. I have called many times. Still waiting!!! I probably wont even have an oven to cook in for Thanksgiving in my new home. What a joke with all the money I spent.
