My washing machine broke a few weeks ago and Electrolux sent the most unqualified electrician to repair it. Not only did he fail to repair anything but charged me 240 dollars and tried to get me to pay double the amount for a new washer. A very dishonest company! I will never purchase anything from them again.

Im on my 3rd replacement Electrolux refrigerator. This replacement is an Electrolux French Door refrigerator. It has been seen by two different Electrolux appointed certified repair shops. The problem is the interior casing is melting near the top 2 bulbs. Both repairmen from different repair shops said that they have been seeing this problem, and that some have heated to the point of serious damages. I was told by both Electrolux repairmen, that the problem was irreparable, and reported it as so to Electrolux. Electrolux disagreed with both repair shops. Electrolux continues to try to send a repair shop, to agree to do the repair their way. Electrolux continues to evade the big problem of fire, and continues to be inconsistent with its responses to me. Last week, they said it is absolutely irreparable, and this week, left a message on my machine, that denied the replacement, in lieu of some Epoxy to do a cosmetic repair. What about the high heat from the bulbs? What about the repair shops that deny this resolution? Is this a fire hazard or not? I still have warranty.

The handle on our Microwave/hood broke one year ago and was replaced under an extended warranty. It broke again, same exact place as the first one less than a year in use by a household of two. No warranty coverage this time. When I contacted C/S their response was “I’ll be happy to schedule a service call, however it will be at your expense. I push back and the best I could do was a 50% discount on the part. When done I will spend approx 225.00 for parts and labor. When I questioned the possibility of a design problem, I was told that if there was they would have heard of it... Terrible design, terrible C/S answer, terrible Corp approach to a problem. This microwave was not inexpensive but the parts may well be of poor quality. I can’t not recommend Electrolux at this time.

We purchased a new washer and dryer and was promised a $200 rebate from Electrolux. The products were purchase late October of 2017 and were delivered early Nov. 2017. We filed for the rebate online as it was supposed to be a “lot quicker”. Several days later, on November 21, we received an email stating that our request was received and that it would take approximately 7 business days to review the claim. The email lists a link to check on the status of the claim. However when you go to the website it is a non-secure website and we get a warning that it is not recommended to open the link. On Dec. 20th we received an email that said the prepaid Citibank MasterCard for $200 was mailed to us and we should receive it within 3 weeks. (Not sure what planet it was mailed from that takes 3 weeks). The email stated a number to call if we did not receive within the 3 weeks. As of today, 1/15/2018 we have not received the rebate card so my wife, called that number. She was told it was processed on the 11th. When questioned about that he said it was “requested by Electrolux on Jan. 11th. When questioned further he said we should receive it by the 25th of this month. However if we do not have it by then call back. It is rather obvious that the scam is to not mail the rebate unless the customer complains that they have not received it in the hope that the customer will forget about it. Also obvious is that we are not going to forget about it so hopefully it will actually be sent soon. Of course if and when we get the rebate it is prepaid credit card which I am sure they hope we will lose and not use. We will probably never purchase anything from this company again as they are not trustworthy and we are not comfortable with their sales tactics.

We bought an Electrolux gas stove less than 3 years ago. In less than two years, the enamel on the inside of the oven was flaking off where the racks go. These racks are on gliders so if you are cleaning the oven, its pretty much the only time the whole rack gets moved in and out. In other words, the rack stays in place but the shelf itself can glide in and out to remove food. I noticed 3 spots chipped off about 8 months ago after I cleaned the oven and was putting the racks back in. I wrote to Electrolux and sent pictures to them. They sent me back an email saying they had a technician look at the pictures and he determined this was normal wear and tear. So I sent them a reply stating that my last two stoves were over 20 years old, the racks were in and out of those stoves many times and all the enamel was still in place when I got rid of the stoves. This was a manufacturer defect and I would like this fixed. The liaison from the CEO then called me and told me the same thing that their reply email stated and again I told her about my last two stoves never having this problem. She then offered me 60% rebate to buy another Electrolux stove because they cant replace the inside of the stove. I told her, No, I want all my money back so I can go and buy a stove that will last. I had read online many people were dissatisfied with their stoves for the very same reason I was complaining. Also the front right burner doesnt light right away, another complaint from others. When it finally decides to light you get a loud fffumm and a huge flame shoots out of the burner. Now, the other day I cleaned my stove and the next morning I opened the oven to wipe the ash out and in the bottom of the oven the ash was rust colored. I thought that was weird but figured it was the grease that had spilled over before I cleaned it, but once I started wiping it out, I noticed the bottom of the oven is actually rusted and pitted all over. This is not normal. As I see it, the enamel is breaking off when the oven is cleaned. The front of the stove where the knobs for the burners, where it tells which burner is for each knob is all worn off. This is a very expensive appliance with shoddy workmanship! Now Electrolux is telling me they will give me 50% back to buy another one of their stoves. I would never spend that kind of money, and this was the most expensive stove in any of the places we looked. I thought I was paying for a good brand, a long time name in the appliance business and would stand by their product. I will never purchase another Electrolux product again.

We bought this beautiful refrigerator last year. My husband was taken with the lighting and didnt mind that it was a bit pricey ($3,500). The problem is... it doesnt make enough ice. The ice maker itself is in the top refrigerator area, its a little 7 x 7 box so if I fill a glass with ice, it empties it and it takes 90 minutes to put out another tray. I empty it into zip lock bags during the day as a back up because my husband goes insane every night when he tries to get ice and its empty. We had the ice maker replaced, and the filters changed. Its just too small to keep up. It would be great if you purchase a separate under counter ice maker (at $2,000). We thought because it was an Electrolux, it would be great, we were wrong. I blame Kelly Ripa.

This is the worst experience I have ever had. Six months ago, moving to the new home, everything is fine but the Electrolux washer keeps giving me headache. Same sensor problem happened 3 times. There are 3 different companies that came to fix it. Okay, finally its fixed, but this is not a very good sign to have such a new machine with recurring problem. I had a very bad feeling about it, but they refused to replace a new functional one to me. No refund! No replacement. Live with it!Recently I found a lot of mold within the gasket and even the hardest clean layer. I tried to wipe it ever since I found it, but it just keeps coming back. I expect a new gasket, but the customer service said its not covered by the warranty. I need to pay for the part $155 + tax + techs labor. What? Is this my responsibility? The poor design is trapping the water. They said I need to leave the door open and clean it every time. There is a gap very, very hard to reach in. I cant imagine the front load washers door needs to be left open to air dry. No wonder there are horrible news about kids got into the washer or dryer. I am buying a $1,400+ washer, but I need to wipe it after each wash? High tech or more work? Reading their FB and saw many people complain about all types of appliance they bought. I wish Id read it! They really dont care about their reputation and no customer services at all.

Double Electrolux oven - Purchased this oven in 2006, almost immediately had outage problems. Every time I use them, and then clean them, they short-out. The fix was to install new motherboard, expensive computer problem. Electrolux says, Just dont use the self-clean feature. Ridiculous! I paid for that with the assumption it will work... Their warranty says that with 3 repairs for the same thing they will replace them. Ive had more than 12 service calls for the same problem but no replacement. I tried getting the number or address of one of the EXECS, they will not give it to me. I see today, they have won an award for the best oven design of the year 2015. What a joke. I want my oven replaced!

We purchased an Electrolux refrigerator in 2008. Thirteen months later, the ice maker broke and could not be repaired. We were told that the warranty was over and that they would pay 1/2 toward a new refrigerator. Since we werent about to shell out $1,500.00, we complained to the Electrolux rep and he ended up getting us a new refrigerator. However, we have had seven service calls on that appliance in two years! First of all, the doors werent aligned, then there was a leak in the back of the unit because it was never sealed at the factory. A new ice maker was installed, then all ice compartment gaskets and housing were replaced, the freezer gasket was replaced, etc. Because of all of the problems, the company did give us a one year extended warranty.

In September 2013 I purchased numerous appliances for a house I was renovating. Among those were an Electrolux washer, dryer and 2 wine refrigerators. The appliances were delivered and installed in February 2014. The dryer steam valve malfunctioned in less than a year flooding the laundry room and damaging the wood floor; that was repaired under warranty. The washer malfunctioned a few months later - out of warranty - when it would not spin clothes dry. That required a service call and parts replacement for $454. About a year later the same problem arose. Another service call, another $454. Recently the problem occurred for the 3rd time. I was told that I needed a new drive belt and that the bearings were bad. The quote to repair was more than the cost of a new washer. I replaced washer and dryer with Maytag versions. The wine refrigerators have fixed shelves so close together that Burgundy style bottles cannot be placed on them without causing the shelf above to come out as well. The only solution is to skip a shelf if you need to store bottles wider than standard. Oh, yes, one of the refrigerators temperature controls no longer works.

We had our kitchen remodeled five years ago. Right off the bat the refrigerator started acting up. After several service calls we received a check for our purchase price. Thank goodness we got the extended warranty. Next the microwave door handle came off. They came out and replaced it. Unfortunately, it has happened again, our warranty is over so we will be purchasing a new microwave. Not an Electrolux. Our dishwasher door was malfunctioning. The service rep told the warranty people that it was non repairable. The piece that needed to be replaced was a small plastic piece that he said they couldn’t get to replace. He also said that we must have been responsible for it breaking so they would not replace the dishwasher. Another interesting note is that every technician that came here remarked at what horrible appliances Electrolux are. Wish I had known that.

Now it is not heating the oven and the service person is asking the bill to repair it under warranty. As per the manufacturing date on the oven is still valid for the warranty coverage. To repair it they need Rs 2500 to 3000 rupees. When oven cost itself is Rs 4000. Quality wise it is very very poor.

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator and stove in July, 2014. I thought I was purchasing a reputable brand, so I didnt need to purchase an extended warranty agreement. In January 1, 2017, the refrigerator stopped cooling. I lost items in the freezer as well as the lower refrigerator section. I called a service technician referred by Lowes. He told me the diagnosis and the repair would be as much as a new refrigerator. I called Frigidaire Customer Service. They told me the only thing they could do was offer a discount on the replacement part. I still would need to pay for the labor and the part. I recently retired and cannot afford to do this nor purchase a new refrigerator. I have now been without a refrigerator since January 1, 2017. I had to begin 2 jobs to save up to hopefully purchase a refrigerator. As it stands I will not be able to do that for at least 2 months. I am very disappointed in Frigidaire/Electrolux. In the great scheme of things I may only be one consumer, but even one should matter. I had to use a computer at a school since I cannot afford internet. I left the paperwork at home so I dont have the receipt with me to add to this.

About 3.5 years ago we totally remodeled our kitchen. We purchased a double oven, warmer, stove top, and two dishwashers. One dishwasher needed a pump replaced after six months. After the warranty expired both dishwashers started to develop problems. They would not totally drain. I had both serviced at different times and the same problem continues. The service mechanic called customer service to see if there was a recall and was told no and that they werent aware of a major problem. When running they are very silent but are not worth the problems or repair costs. I would not repurchase an Electrolux product again. Strongly considering returning dishwashers to front of store where purchased, calling the news media to watch me take a hammer to the items to show my dissatisfaction, costly but very gratifying.

Warranty expired. Again, no help from local dealer, and no help from Electrolux. 2014 dryer motor making noise. No help from local guy, Electrolux will send a motor for half price. In 2011, my wife and I installed Electrolux appliances in our new home: Range model EW301S65JSA; Dishwasher model EIDW6105GS1A; Microwave model E124M0451BA; and Refrigerator model EI28BS56ISD. To say that we have been disappointed would be an understatement. Over the past 3 years we have resided in the house for approximately 20 months. During that time, every one of the appliances has failed. The refrigerator stopped making ice. An Electrolux-certified repairman replaced the control board twice, replaced a faulty solenoid once, and finally replaced the entire refrigerator with a new unit. The microwave display failed after approximately 9 months, so that we are unable to read a portion. Three days ago, the dishwasher stopped in the middle of a cycle: all lights on the pad on the top of the door remained unlit; no lights appeared on the panel behind the kick plate at the base of the unit; turning off power for 30 minutes and then turning back on produced no change. The range has occasionally beeped and flashed an F11 warning, which we have resolved by turning off power for several minutes then turning back on. Today, the F11 error and beeping appeared, and after shutting off power for 30 minutes the error continues. To summarize, every Electrolux unit we purchased has let us down. Currently, two are not functioning. We will have to pay the exorbitant cost of repair. Sadly, it seems we will have to replace the units sooner than expected, and with appliances that have a better track record than Electrolux.

We bought a Frigidaire self cleaning ceramic glass cooktop range in June of 2018, one month after the warranty period my wife turned on oven to preheat it. After about 3 min, she heard a loud popping sound and the breaker in the house tripped! She opened the oven and after the smoke cleared she saw a quarter sized melted hole in bottom of the oven. We knew the warranty was over so we called an appliance repairman to look at the stove. He found that the bottom element shorted and burned a hole in bottom pan and the convection fan was burned out! All the parts that needed to be replaced could not be located in Canada! These are very dangerous appliances! Stay away! The model number of the stove is CGEF3037TFC.

This appliance is a piece of junk and the service has much to be desired. Bought it with other kitchen appliances while redoing the kitchen. Have only used it two months and here are my complaints: doors were dented when unit arrived, new doors were put on with seals put on backward, water filter leaks water on the floor, unit makes more noise than expected. Freezers doesnt seal. Even after service people allegedly fixed it I thought it still didnt seal. Turns out I was right. The freezer door rails need replaced according to third service company!! The electronic computer board has malfunctioned and is reading error codes. The refrigerator will not maintain cold. The evaporator fan needs replaced - not working. Some type of Unit blew out when there was some type of power outage. Now, keep in mind this is two months of use!!!!!! I am filing a lemon law complaint and complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Purchased a Frigidaire Gallery side by side in December and had it delivered to a new house. We purchased January 23rd and the fridge was delivered the next day. On February 4th I came home from work and found my kitchen and dining room flooded and the hardwood floors in the dining room are warped and water-stained. The reason for the water damage was that the water in the door of the fridge came on by itself and ran for hours. A couple of days later, I got a call from Wendy of Electrolux in the claims department, letting me know that I should claim with my home owners insurance because if I file one with Electrolux, I will have to get to estimates and they will only pay a prorated amount on my wood floor because the house was built in 2005. TWO WEEK OLD, SIDE BY SIDE FLOORS HOME AND I SPENT 3 HOURS CLEANING UP THE WATER, AND NOW I HAVE TO PAY FOR DAMAGE CAUSED BY ELECTROLUX.

In short, the product was not a new product when we purchased it from Home Depot in 2006.When we contacted Home Depot about this matter, the appliance manager was very concerned and stated that they will be checking all products from Frigidaire for refurbished soot marks. He also stated that the freezer should not have stopped working after just a short length of time.As a result, we have contacted our attorney. Our attorney explained that his office will be contacting the FDA and also the Federal Consumer Affairs Office in Washington and request a full investigation into this matter. It is suspected that Frigidaire is selling refurbished products; and 100s of other consumers may have been scammed as well. The product arrived at my home from Home Depot in the manufacturers box and sold to us as a new product. However, the repair annalist informed us on 3 November 2011 that the product was refurbished not new!We called Frigidaire Customer Care Center today at 1-980-236-2000 and talked to a representative who had an extremely illiterate tone over the phone. In short, he basically told us to go to hell.1000s are being scammed by Electrolux Corp (Frigidaire distributor). Please investigate! Thank you.

Customer Service Non existent. We bought a slide-in stove from Electrolux 3.5 years ago. For over 2 years we have dealt with an electrical panel shorting on the appliance. Now the unit has completely shut down. We had a repair person look at it who says all the circuit panels need replacing at $900 plus $800 labour. The stove cost approx $2300 and three years later we are facing a $1700 repair that is not guaranteed to fix the problem. While Im aware many appliances only have a 1 year warranty are we to believe we should plan on throwing in the trash Electrolux appliances after 3 years? Not impressed!

I have NEVER experienced such an awful product in my entire 37 years of marriage. I purchased my Electrolux 5 burner stove about 4 years ago and have had nothing but disappointment since. The grates on the top stove do NOT come clean. I have tried every product available on the market. Now my racks wont come out of the oven and the temperature doesnt get hot. For $2300 that I paid it is a definite rip off.

I have had an ongoing issue with the ice maker nearly since I purchased the product 4 years ago. I have paid for numerous Electrolux referred service companies to come out and try to resolve the issues. They have replaced the ice making unit. They have placed massive amounts of silicon around the unit. The lines keep freezing and now, the back of the refrigerator creates blocks of ice causing massive amounts of rust. From past posts, it appears I am not alone in this situation. Electrolux has completely blown me off telling me to call their service providers. The service providers quoted me $175 service call and additional for parts and labor. Electrolux is not taking responsibility for selling me a lemon of a refrigerator. This is past the point of any repair. I have proof of this refrigerator is a lemon since the beginning but after spending thousands on the refrigerator and in repairs. This should be deemed a lemon.

Refrigerator serial number 4A83408850. Not even 6 years old. For one week an alarm goes off and displays power fail. The alarm buzzes 3 to 5 times waking everyone up! Its nocturnal! Depriving us of our sleep! Electrolux said we need to replace the unit board which will Cost $130. Called for service from the place we purchased it and they cant come till Tuesday June 24. Electrolux said that eventually the refrigerator will stop working and I believe it because it is getting worse. Last night we got a new code display CE so we unplugged the fridge which helped reset it!

Purchased 10/31/09. Ice maker stopped working 6 mos after purchase. After 9 service calls, it is still not working. After 4 years, Electrolux offered to replace. I wanted a refund or extended warranty which they refused. When I decided to accept the offer, I was told it was no longer available. The freezer door handle is loose. The temp display is disappearing and there is a hole about 1 inch above the interior light where the paint is peeling. I suggest consumers with these problems contact the US Consumer Product Safety Commission at Cpsc.gov to file a report so we can get this unsafe product off the market and possibly get a refund.

Please do not purchase Electrolux appliances. I unfortunately did not do my research before and deeply regret it as I am now in the hole about as much as I paid for it originally in repairs and it still does not work. I have spent numerous calls and hours with customer service and to no avail. They simply dont care if you ever purchase from them again and I definitely will not. The interface board on ours was faulty from the beginning and after being replaced still did not work. The ice maker would freeze over and after even repairing it broke again. We have been using ice trays for two years due to not being able to afford to pay the repair cost and another part since it was out of warranty at that point. I have filed a complaint with the State Dept. of Consumer Affairs and to file suit to replace a defective design. We are contacting their legal department due to the fact they knew it was a defective design and will not fix it or replace it. Electrolux used to be a great company and unfortunately like many today just dont care about the consumers who purchase with their hard earned money from them. The only recourse is to just not give them the money in the future so I highly recommend you do your research before throwing your money away with them.

In January, 2017 we purchased the top of the line Electrolux Washer and Gas Dryer. Shortly after the washing machine was installed, water started to leak from under the unit. It flooded our laundry room. A week later a tech showed up and diagnosed that a pump was installed incorrectly at the factory. Two weeks later it was replaced. Guess what? It continued to leak. This time I asked for a different tech to come out to ensure he knew what he was doing. He determined it was a different pump that was cracked so another part had to be ordered. By this time I was so upset that I demanded a new machine. After much negotiation, Electrolux agreed to replace the washer. Now last week, our dryer stopped working. We started to notice about a month ago that it was taking longer to dry clothes. Finally on Jan. 5th exactly one year from when we took delivery, the machine stopped working. I called Electrolux Jan. 8th and they said the one year warranty is up so I have to pay for a service call. The customer service at this company is terrible and they forget who is paying their salaries. I will never buy another Electrolux appliance and I urge others to avoid them like the plague!

We own a high end induction slide-in range that has failed twice, for the same reason, in 6 years. Whenever we have used the self-clean function the oven has remained locked (impossible to open or function). First failure was covered under warranty but the second, for the exact same failure, cost $600 to repair and Electrolux refused to absorb any of the cost. Technician indicated that this is a common failure...probably a design fault. Will never buy another Electrolux product again.

This is the frig from hell! We bought the frig a little over a year ago at the 6 month mark. It started releasing water and ice whenever it wanted... unloading the whole containers worth of ice came crashing down and then water! That happened 3 times before a service guy could get out to FIX it! Then 3 months later it did it again. This time I was able to reset it and it worked for another 3 more months. At this point it just did ice and I called for service again and they sent someone else out who replaced another computer board. It’s worked for a month and today it dispensed probably 5-10 gallons of water at 4 different times between 5 and 7:30 AM and I turned off the water to the frig and dried everything up called customer service who denied replacement because our frig is out of warranty! (by one month) but the customer service with Electrolux said they will still send someone out to look at it and fix. So unless you want to redo the floors in your kitchen and have a service coming to your house every other month this is NOT the frig of choice.

We purchased - largely for being identical in appearance - the Electrolux dishwasher, oven, and microwave set for a remodeled kitchen. Heres my experience with all three, plus other info. Dishwasher 1: Simply did not clean dishes. Three warranty service calls did not fix. Replaced with the identical Electrolux dishwasher. Dishwasher 2 (replacement): Leaked water onto the kitchen floor, and made an amazingly loud and unacceptable noise in operation. Two warranty service calls did not fix the leak and could not diagnose the noise. Lowes took it back and we replaced it with a now out-of-place looking but functional Kitchenaid.Oven: Several of the blue bars on the lighted timer/temperature indicators are not fully functional at one year old (off warranty), so have to guess at temperatures and time. Very expensive to repair. Went through one temp. probe warranty repair (it was not connected internally at the factory). Troubleshooted and replaced a faulty second probe. The oven has twice stopped functioning, but I was able to get it operational by rebooting it (shutting off the appliance breakers, then turning them back on). Note: At the same time, my son, who lives 500 miles away, also bought the same type Electrolux oven, and he also has experienced the loss of some of the blue bars that constitute the numbers needed for time and temperature reading.Microwave: Many of the blue bars that constitute the numbers for time are not functional. Try operating a microwave without fully functional numbers for time, etc. The cost of the repair (replacement of the electronics is almost half the cost of an entire new unit. We limp along as is because of our attempt to match the appliances in the kitchen, and we are not about to replace with the identical Electrolux. Note: My son bought the identical microwave and he has the same problems. These things tell me that Electrolux shipped an entire batch of ovens and microwaves across the US with faulty lighted numbers. The shipping of two out-of-box failure dishwashers is almost unbelievable. I dont know how a company can survive with such a record of failures across three product lines.

My Electrolux EIMED60JIWO front load dryer will not start. Serial # 4D10402611. Purchased May 28, 2011 Hampton, VA. Registered with Electrolux. If I turn the dial to different settings it beeps at each setting, light flashes on and off with the beep. If I try to start, turn the dial, cancel or push any other buttons, it beeps. This has happened 4 times since I purchased the dryer in May 28 of 2011. I believe the last technician said the dryer had to be reset. It will not reset. I tried unplugging, resetting the circuit breaker, factory resetting the dryer by pushing the temperature button and the dryness button simultaneously for 6 seconds. NOTHING. STILL NOT WORKING!!! Of course it is only 4 years old, but out of warranty. They advised that I purchase a 2 year extended warranty for $267.74, and then I have to wait 9 days for the earliest service call. The dryer cost $1100!!! They didnt fix the problem when it was under the original warranty. I am NOT happy with Electrolux. WARNING!!! DO NOT BUY ELECTROLUX!! They offer a poor product, poor service, and fail to honor the warranty. I expected more out of my Electrolux. Please advise.

I was originally looking to buy a slide-in range. I didn't have my mind set on any particular brand but the Electrolux model ranked high on my list of contenders. After almost a year of scouring & searching both BB and numerous other online resources, I finally came across this free standing range @BB store near me. It was a display model that had been marked down, that coupled w/ purchase promo at the time & free delivery was a no brainer. So although it wasn't the slide-in I wanted, it was well worth the trade off for a deal like this. BB has always done right by me & customer service was great. As for the performance of the range itself, I have no complaints thus far, it works fine & has many features. Only thing I noticed was a strong odor when I used the oven for the first time that has since disappeared. I didn't know if that was normal for a new unit but it now operates normally & helps cook meals quickly w/ it's expandable heating elements & settings.

Bought Electrolux dishwasher Feb. 2013. So far, three visits from repair man. Even though I listed all of my complaints, repairman said there was nothing wrong with my dishwasher, and left without doing anything. Next visit decides control board is bad. Get new control board, works fine. Serviceman leaves and next day, dishwasher doesnt work, and noticed middle arm hits top basket. This is why top glasses never got clean. Repair man needs to return 4th time because pump does not work. But he needs to see for himself, thus will need to come back 5th time, before one year is up.

I purchased a new home and bought the extended warranty from Electrolux for the appliances. Within the first year, my microwave broke 4 times. On the final time, I was told the microwave would be replaced. My microwave broke over 3 weeks ago, and initially customer service said someone would get back to me within 5 business days to approve the replacement. When I didn’t hear anything for 10 business days, I called them back. I was then told to give them another 3 business days. When I didn’t hear back AGAIN, I called them and was told that these things (meaning replacing my microwave) takes time and I should be patient, and that I could possibly be without a microwave for 2 months. Does that sound acceptable?? What modern home can go without a major appliance for that long? Their customer did not care. I spoke to a supervisor who was not helpful and kept repeating the same phrase, “I understand your frustration.” However he was not offering any solutions to my problem. He did, however, tell me that if they had to ship my microwave then I am financially responsible for the shipping and installation. If you are reading this before you purchase an Electrolux or Frigidaire appliance (Electrolux provides the extended warranty) please DON’T purchase. If you have an issue with your appliance then you will regret you spent the money. Their customer service and appliances are horrible. BUYER BEWARE!

We purchased a glass top range and had it for 3 weeks when the problems started. It started with beeping and then F11 on the control panel. So no oven for a week until repair man came. Again no oven for 2 weeks until he replaced the control panel and within days the problem started again. So another parts replacement and no oven for weeks. Now the problem started within hours and another replacement, so 3 repairs and still not working. After 3 months of repairs, no oven or stove as if it was plugged in it would continuously beep loudly Electrolux replaced the stove. So now a month with the new stove and its not working, continuous beeping and no buttons work.Tried calling to speak with a supervisor and no luck just the same (we really dont care attitude). So now back to all the stress and frustration and months of repairs. If anyone knows how to get a hold of a supervisor as customer services keeps telling us the supervisors will not take the phone would help. It amazes me that a company that is kept going by its consumers doesnt really care about its consumers. What happens when they have no consumers as they went to someone who actually cares about them. How many companies are no longer around because they lost all respect and confidence by their buyers.

Almost from the beginning this refrigerator has had problems. The ice maker continues to be non functioning as well as the interior lights. Customer Service is good at one thing saying Im sorry. I have put more money into this appliance than any other I have purchased over the past 30+ years. I purchased a new switch hoping that would resolve the lights not working, however it looks as though the board is defective. In order to fix the ice maker and the circuit board, we are looking at approximately 1500.00.At this point, I am better off to purchase another refrigerator, obviously not this brand. You spend more money on quality products and this has been one time where this wasnt the case. If you look at all the reviews, Electrolux obviously needs to go back to the drawing board because consumers arent happy and the issues seem to be the same i.e. ice maker. This refrigerator is only about 6 years old and when you spend 3500 you expect it be in good working condition for many years to come.

We purchased a side by side Electrolux fridge around 6 years ago. In less than a year the front display conked out which we reported to the dealership where we bought the unit, however Electrolux does not have the parts on hand. After repeated demands and expiration of the warranty no parts were delivered. Just last year almost 5 years after purchase, after a dismal customer service experience, the referred sub-contractor advised us that the motherboard gave in and lo and behold they even advised us to replace the front display, of course for a considerable fee. After repair and less than a year our fridge gave out again, less than a year mind you. Now the customer service personnel are as bad as usual, sending us unexperienced repairmen. After waiting for a month for the results of the test we were informed that the unit is beyond repair since there was a leak in the cooling lining. Is this how poor Electrolux products are? That your products can stand the test of time... Never will I buy nor recommend, and I would in fact discourage other consumers in buying your very, very, very poor products.

Bad seals, broken parts, ice maker freezing up and now I am told the fridge will fail soon due to the internal thermal parts. Apparently I have a model that had a KNOWN PROBLEM on these models and similar Frigidaire models from 2011 to 2017!!!! Yes ELECTROLUX KNEW, BUT DID THEY DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT, seems to be a NO. They supposedly did some sort of recall but NOTHING I EVER RECEIVED. It is NOT COVERED ON YOUR HOME INSURANCE WARRANTY, in fact they tell you to CALL ELECTROLUX. So I did and I was on HOLD for 65 minutes, no mention of any sort of call back which many companies now do. I Guess ELECTROLUX WANTS TO MAXIMISE PROFITS!!!!The lady I spoke to KNEW about this issue (Just as the TECHNICIAN that came out KNEW about this issue). She ended up giving me the number for the CORPORATE OFFICE to speak to a SHELBY so I called. Guess what? Its just a number for Electrolux, no Shelby. I purchased brand new Electrolux appliances for my kitchen exactly two years ago. Since that time I have had the double oven fixed once, the refrigerator fixed four times and then finally replaced, and most recently the microwave has gone out. It’s only been two years (almost to the day) and I have spent countless hours working with Electrolux and repair people on the phone and at home (missing work on several occasions). I now have to pay a trip charge to have the microwave looked at and will have to pay labor to fix it. In two years, these very expensive appliances should not have had such awful quality problems. We considered Frigidaire or GE (which, by the way, our friends went with and have had no problems at all), but went with Electrolux due to the perceived quality and excellent warranty - which in both cases are absolutely false. It’s been nothing but disappointment and frustration. Electrolux has not stood behind their appliances and they make it very difficult to get support. We have had the runaround on every occasion and a lack of accountability, or more importantly a lack of responsibility, to the consumer to ensure the appliances are repaired and taken care of in as painless of a process as possible. On one occasion the repair person went so far as to tell me that Electrolux quality is not what it used to be and how they are getting more and more calls regarding these appliances, so they too were a bit concerned that quality is no longer a priority at Electrolux. Lessons learned and the same mistake will not be made ever again. If Electrolux stepped up and took responsibility and accountability, it would go a long way; however, even the employees I have spoken to seem a bit disillusioned.

The last technician said because we have a septic tank, we had to put in a p-trap to keep back flow air from stopping the machine from draining. I installed the trap. Five years ago I remodeled my kitchen. I was talked into the top of the line Electrolux icon line and paid the price for it! Now I am again paying the price for it. Where shall I start? Hmm lets go with the overpriced refrigerator that has now almost completely fallen apart. Every shelf made with plastic fittings has now broke. Shelves are now barely holding one, drawers dont roll and stick and again, plastic parts broken and cannot be repaired. Overpriced built-in convection/microwave. Now not working as I dont want to put an additional $500.00 to repair the thing. Id rather put the money towards something worth having. Oh, and this is the second time its been repaired. Built-in convection oven electrical panel has been replaced once. Im not holding my breath. Now this morning, two of the electrical units on my flat top built-in stove have an error indicator on them. Who knows what is wrong now! 3 years ago we renovated our home and bought new appliances (Electrolux products - Indonesia) for the kitchen. We bought a gas range, microwave, rice cooker and refrigerator. I selected Electrolux because of my experience with Electrolux in the USA was always very positive. The rice cooker required several repairs because of a bad smell after cooking rice. It was finally resolved. The gas range oven will not stay lit and requires me to watch constantly to make sure it stays on. However, I havent asked for a repair. I can manage using it without a repair at this time. The main issue we have is the refrigerator. Ive lost count the number of times weve contacted the service center and the number of times theyve been to our home or scheduled to come to our home to repair. The service staff who attempts to repair does not appear to be experienced or authorized to make decisions to repair without contacting the service center. After a few years of frustrations and attempts to repair we will replace with another brand. Ive had enough frustrations with the Indonesian service center and lack of response or promises that go unfilled.

We had our house built 6 years ago and I just had to have the Electrolux appliance. The only thing that in my opinion that has worked well is the dish machine. The oven, cooktop, and microwave not so much. For the price I was expecting as other consumers have stated a much better product. I did not get the warranties because them in themselves were expensive as well.Lets start with the microwave because it had the least problems and lasted the longest. Two years ago the door panel came partly loose. Only I had it fixed was because I had gotten the home warranty for all household appliances and it was covered under that warranty. Along with the other two appliances that I am going to talk about. Last year the spring broke so the door would not close. My husband tried to fix it and in the midst of doing that he broke the top piece. A friend came over and saw that the door was taped shut. He asked what was wrong with it; I told him and he fixed for me. The top piece could not be fixed because it was plastic. Thank goodness he didnt charge me. He said it was a minor fix. The top piece I just laid it back on top. You couldnt tell it was detached. Now this year the microwave stop working all together. I put something in it to warm up and it did not come on DEAD. I never cooked in it anyway but dead after 5 1/2 years.Next we are going to talk about the cooktop. I picked out the 36 in induction cooktop. It was working good. I was excited I had gotten it then after 6 months the burners seem to no be cooking as well. I had to cook the food on high if I was using more than one burner because it was not cooking well and taking forever to cook. Thank goodness not was burning. I thought something was wrong but I could not figure out what it was. Then one day when I was cooking for the holidays, midway through cooking the hold cooktop shut off. At that point I had to wait for the fans to cool the cooktop off. Once that happen I had to cook everything one at a time till I was finish cooking. Needless to say I was upset. That Monday I called the Electrolux and they called a service tech out because it was still just under their warranty . When he finally came out he told me that it was a good thing it had shut itself off because it could have set the house on fire. Like that is something a home owner wants to hear. He told me he had to order the part. It took three weeks for that part to come in. No problems after that until the fourth year and it did it again. By this time I had gotten the home warranty I spoke of earlier and thank goodness for that because we had problem after problem. This time one side of the cooktop could not work. The service people sent someone to fix it. Then two months later the other side when out. They sent the same person out again. Then the other side that had been fixed went out again so he had to come back. This was every two months for 8 months. Then finally he realized something was burning out the circuit boards and fix it. No more problems but on the induction side you cannot burn the 2 burners on the same temperature or you will get an error. Thats a small price to pay for not being able to use your appliance that you paid hard earn money for 8 months. Finally we get to the double oven. The first problem I had was the Led lights went out. That was still under factory warranty. This happen two months after we moved in. The next problem again like the cooktop, the oven sensor went out, this was 6 months after we moved in. They came and fixed that. I had no problems until again like the cooktop in the 4th year. I was cooking on normal bake and the oven seem like it wasnt getting hot. Then I started using the convection bake then it seem like it was doing the same thing. One day I was standing there looking at the stove wondering what to do, my daughter said Momma I told you the bottom oven works better than the top. At that point I turned both ovens on and the bottom oven heated up faster than the top. So for a while we used the bottom oven for cooking until it was doing the same thing as the top. The problem with the oven was happening at the same time with the cooktop but it had to be 2 different work orders. The oven took longer to get fixed than the cooktop because we had to wait longer until the part to come in. So I didnt have a oven for 11 months. Because you could not use 1 oven without the other because they were on the same circuit board. Since then we can use both ovens but the bottom oven is still hotter than the top and it still heats up quicker.

I have had the Electrolux dishwasher less than three years and it has failed twice. The first time cost $200 after just over a year of service and now with a pending repair bill of over $700. That would make the dishwasher cost over $2,300 for less than three years of service. The Electrolux customer service said it was my problem and they wouldnt fix it.

Four years ago we bought an Electrolux French door refrigerator. After four years of replacing the ice maker numerous times, Electrolux replaced the refrigerator in August of 2014. Two weeks after delivery, the produce and meat werent freezing. A fan up ended being replaced. A month ago the ice maker went out. Electrolux replaces the ice maker and three weeks later it went out. When the repairman took ice maker out he showed me where the ice maker shorted out. He said it could have caught fire! Electrolux was to call within 48 hours for replacement. It is now 4 days and has not heard from them! Dont ever buy Electrolux!

We have a defective Electrolux refrigerator. According to the repairman, our ice maker was not insulated sufficiently from the back panel of the refrigerator. It has caused condensate to form on the back of the appliance. We discovered a large (about 6 in diameter) rust spot there with a trailing one of about 18 or so. There is condensate on the back that drips continually and the metal is actually flaking off. We have no idea how long this has been going on. We only discovered it because of a kitchen remodel. Meanwhile, it has been dripping down to a wood floor. We could be dealing with mold inside the back panel or eventually on the back of the refrigerator and wall (which I am highly allergic to). We have contacted Electrolux and all that was offered was us contacting another repairman (at our expense). They are not honoring their warranty. I also have an Electrolux stove. Im not feeling very good about it now! These appliances are expensive. I will never buy another Electrolux or Frigidaire product.

We purchased an Electrolux French Door refrigerator, Dual In-Wall Oven, Overhead Microwave, and Dishwasher. The first to fail was the refrigerator, which could not make ice. Then the dual in-wall oven board failed, then the Microwave display, and finally the dishwasher which wouldnt clean dishes properly or dry them. The refrigerator ice maker failed twice more, the microwave a second time (we replaced it with GE), and the dishwasher wont clean and dry today despite using the highest clean and heated dry settings. Some of these were fixed under warranty, others under an extended warranty.I will never buy another Electrolux or Frigidaire product, and every friend, relative, neighbor, and coworker has heard my story. If Im in the appliance department of a store that carries Electrolux or Frigidaire, I watch for anyone seeming interested in the brand and warn them, urging them to look at reviews and complaints online. I will continue to do this anytime and anywhere I find anyone considering new appliances. Ive had good luck all my life with products and am typically a fairly positive person, but this was the most egregious experience. I guess Ive become a reverse evangelist for the brand.

Can only wonder if the GE acquisition is a factor in the terrible cust service from this once prestigious company! Previous service calls were handled professionally and never had an issue until Sept 15 when I called cust service and ordered replacement part which covers the motor, etc on back of refrig. Unit arrived approx 10 days later damaged beyond use due to improper packaging of unit (modified box broke open, packing material missing, and unit was crushed). Called cust service back and a replacement unit was shipped out and arrived 4 days later but it was the wrong part. There are only two parts on the backside of a refrig -- the metal plate covering 90% of the unit and the cardboard panel covering the motor, etc! Called cust service again and was advised even though Electrolux rep ordered the wrong part, they would only waive restock fee and I was financially responsible for return shipment for a 35 x 13 x 5 box. Lastly, submitted online complaint to cust service expressing my disagreement with the shipping issue. Next day received email reply stating Saw you called in and matter was resolved by waiving of restock fee.I seriously question if there is some type of learning/listening disability issue (such as Attention Deficit Disorder) with the Electrolux service staff. Or perhaps they just dont care -- put in their hours and collect a paycheck and go home. Three out of four reps failed to listen/absorb what was being said and merely mouthed platitudes and repeated errors. While I was very polite to all of the cust service reps, I am thoroughly disgusted with the corporation and would not recommend Electrolux products.

We purchased new front loading washer and dryer this winter for our new home. 6 months of use and the washer stopped draining. Warranty service tech came out and found the drain line plugged deep inside the machine. To fix he had to remove the top and front of the machine to get to a plastic inline bowl that he said is prone to becoming plugged. We have a lab and he said we need to shake out everything before washing as the dogs hair will clog the machine. This repair is not for the amateur and if it wasn’t under warranty it would have been about $240. Can’t believe the poor design and difficult accessibility to do routine cleaning. Our dog is 8 years old and we’ve never had a problem like this. Will think twice about buying another one when the time comes.

We bought the Electrolux refrigerator ew23cs70153 and also an oven and washer and dryer from PC Richards. Almost $8000-$10000 in product in 2010. They are around 3 1/2 years only. Like many I thought the design was European and sleek perfect for a modern kitchen. Kelly Ripa and marketing they sure spent a lot in!!! We will never buy Electrolux again! We began to have problems right away. LED screen letters some out on oven, round iron plates around burners got rusty on the stainless steel top of oven so had to toss, inside rack you cannot take out to clean the oven, when you push clean oven it blinks and sounds with a message saying take racks out and you hit the lever in the back does release it. No way to get it out. The decals on the front showing which way to turn the dials came off, when it comes on and ignites it makes a boom sound and feels like the oven is going to blow up. We are always worried and jump.I called Electrolux customer service and they sent multiple parts to replace however sometimes had to send up to 10 times for me to finally get the correct part. Very frustrating, I scheduled a repair guy to change the screen and parts. However to date things still are breaking and it was 2-3000 dollars in price. Then on the washer and dryer, the plate inside the dryer in the back from high heat turned black and if I dry any light clothes, it sticks to it and also black gets on the clothes in high heat mode, so I can only use the medium and low heat setting only. Its almost like it is so efficient they didnt think of the parts inside holding up. What a mess. Also the front door in plastic hasnt held up nice and and has gotten cloudy so had to call Electrolux to receive new doors. The overall outside of the unit hasnt held up nice either and we bought in white. And the latest frustration is the refrigerator. When we first bought it the first month the LED screen had one of the letters that went out and when this happens you have to replace the entire screen. Also the regular refrigerator side kept freezing up. The outside easily dings especially the sides of the unit. Electrolux sent us a brand new refrigerator 6 months after we bought the original one. However it didnt stop there. During a storm the power went out and the motor blew so we had to have repair guy come out again to replace motor. We put a surge protector on after that. The latest and last straw is the water line keeps freezing up in the door so we have to keep shutting it off to defrost and then it freezes up again. I cant use the filter water at all!!!! Come to find out after reading reviews many are having this same problem. So I called Electrolux to see if they would send a new door or do anything. They said since it is out of the year and 2 year warranty they cant do anything and they can send a door out for 400 dollars. We just cant believe itI just cant believe they wont do anything when this is a known problem with their design. I asked to speak to anyone higher up and they said there is no one to speak to. We have hit a brick wall. My husband and I just cant believe they would lose a customer over this. I never blog or do reviews but these Electrolux products have been a living hell for how much they are worth! Quality and durability not worth the high price. And the hours I have spent on repairs and calling customer service has to be over 40-50 hours by now. Im 7 months pregnant and we have to buy bottled water because we can use the refrigerator water. So now we have the hose taken out of the unit to use the water, see attached pic.

Electrolux-Frigidaire 5 Cu Ft Freezer. I have gone round and round with them over my Freezer making a noise every 10 to 20 minutes. This sound is like a mechanical switch turning on at 63 Decibel. They shift the blame on my set up saying that if I had it on a carpet and something to absorb the sound, it would be less noticeable. They do not say the sound doesnt happen but as long as it is still freezing this is okay. I am very dissatisfied with this unit. Admitting it freezes. But the noise is very aggravating. We bought a new home in 2015. By new, I mean just built. It came with the Electrolux ICON appliances. These appliances are not worth the money. They are poorly constructed and have been repaired several times. They even have safety defects. The Gas cooktop is poorly designed and a danger to all that own it. It needs to be recalled. The burners are placed too far forward and make it impossible to use the front burners. The flames from the burners extend too far out from the base and can easily catch your clothes on fire. The knobs on the gas cook top also turn on by mistake. They easily turn and leak gas if you lightly brush against them. Kids can easily turn them on. These are a real safety issue and need to be recalled. The ICON dishwasher has been a nightmare. It does not dry the dishes and the control panel is always going out. It just starts flickering and has to be replaced. The fridge is ok but the ice and water dispenser are poorly designed and always leave ice and water falling on the floor. They really need to recall the gas cook top. Parents beware!!!

Beware of Electrolux/Frigidaire french door freezer/frig. I have had nothing but problems with my unit. From the day it was delivered it has had door sealing issues which lead to me loosing all my food in the freezer twice. The back of the unit has a water leak through the ice maker lines which has frozen up and rusted the ENTIRE back panel of frig/freezer. The temperature control panel goes haywire and change the temperature which leads to food going bad. I contacted Electrolux customer service as well as their corporate office in Sweden. They basically told me they would do nothing to assist in rectifying all my issues. I even had the repair company that was sent out through my extended warranty company (Lowes) tell me the unit needed to be replaced but Electrolux still did nothing. 6 Appliances, 12 problems, expensive solutions: We built this new home about 5 years ago. Its just the two of us and our dog. In the past 5 years we use the home about 7 months of the year. Every single appliance has had problems, too many to outline. Some of the problems Electrolux has no fix for other than expensive parts to fix parts that they knew did not work. More problems are on the way, as our microwave has stopped rotating and our freezer is making a funny noise as well as the fan in the convection oven is making sounds that it did not make before. These are all top of the line appliances that should last more than a couple of years of use. However Electrolux does not agree or care. I am going to start a class action lawsuit in Canada against them, my email is **. Write me if you would like to join in.

I purchased a side by side fridge at the end of 2009. Something leaked out of it, and ruined my slate floor in the fall of 2010. The repairman could not figure it out. On the third visit from another repairman for the fridge, after the control panel went up a second time, the leak was determined to come from the plug at the bottom of the door. Electrolux sent me paperwork to file a claim with their liabilities department, which I did at the beginning of October. To date, I have not heard back from them, and they will not return any calls, or emails. After spending thousands of dollars on appliances, you would think the customer service would be good. I cannot even begin to understand the total lack of customer service. I have done everything the liabilities department asked, and I would like a reimbursement for the damages to have them repaired.

I will NEVER buy another Electrolux product. Its too bad I wasnt wise enough to check reviews before buying. Almost from the start I had issues with the ice dispenser. After many phone calls & service calls, at least 5, after changing celluloid, main board, ice bucket assembly, they sent 3 incorrect ones before I got the correct one. Mind you they had the part #, after taking at least 4 days off from work to be home for repair tech, I am now close to spending $700.00 in parts. (Oh, they give a 20 percent discount on parts that I have no way of breaking, a celluloid, that takes about 20 minutes to get to?) Main board? Really? I now have the pleasure of a sporadic high temp 58 degree refrigerator & again no help from Electrolux. They use cheap parts & dont stand behind their product. NEVER AGAIN.

My husband purchased this dishwasher from Home Depot a year ago. From the day it was installed, it has given us nothing but problems. If a dishwasher had the power to ruin a persons day, this is the model that would do that. The electronic display never works. Just never works. Its all computerized and nothing works. When we finally do hit the buttons enough times to get the machine to start, it runs a cycle and the dishes come out the same as they went in - not cleaned at all.Weve called Home Depot... Weve called Electrolux - all to no avail. Electrolux sent out a serviceman who did nothing. They wouldnt accept a return for this horrible machine, yet charged over $1000 for it. I have been waiting 6 weeks for my washer to get fixed. I can’t seem to get anyone in the warranty customer service department at RC Willey to tell me at what point I will have a working washer. The repair company has been out three times to repair the washer with no success. The washer/dryer set is 2 years old. I have contacted Electrolux and they said I have a parts warranty but will have to pay out of pocket if I don’t use the warranty. What is the point of purchasing a warranty if you never have a working product? I’m trying really hard to understand why it is so hard to complete the repairs on the unit I have. If you sell a warranty you should stand behind it. I will never buy Electrolux again and most certainly will never purchase anything from RC Willey. Extremely disappointed in both companies.

I bought the $3000 Electrolux ICON Professional Series Gas range because it looks great and has all the features you could want. Its been a nightmare - weve had one malfunction after another in the four years weve owned the stove and Electrolux customer services is the worst of any consumer products company Ive dealt with. I will never buy another Electrolux appliance and suggest you dont either! After dozens of attempts to solicit help with the oven, their customer service people range from clueless to nasty, and couldnt care less about getting it right for the customer. They just read their script and evade accountability. Theres obviously something seriously wrong with an oven that breaks as many times as mine has. Five issues Ive had: The first year of ownership, the oven’s glass door shattered during the self-clean cycle. The next year, the convection bake control stopped working. After self-cleaning again, the oven door locked and wouldnt open, so the power relay board needed to be replaced. Sixth months later after another self-cleaning, again the door locked and wouldnt open. This time, the authorized repairman reset the thermostat. Now theres a “boom” sound whenever I turn on the broiler, and the repairman said we need to replace two igniters. Repair costs have been exorbitant, and Electrolux has been extremely difficult to deal with. Understandably appliances can malfunction, but when this many things go wrong and Electrolux refuses to take responsibility - the bigger problem is that the company doesnt stand behind their products!

Im from Malaysia and am a user of Electrolux Washing Machine and dryer. Im very happy with both the machines until I encounter problem with my Dryer. It was making a loud sound and I quickly called Electrolux dealer AB First Trading in Shah Alam. The technician came and inspected my dryer. It took him merely 2 minutes of inspection and he told me that the motor is faulty and needed to change the entire motor system. On top of that, he told some belts are balding and needed to change as well. It will cost around RM800-RM1000 to have it changed. I was shocked. I didnt trust him so I asked another technician (not Electrolux dealer) to inspect my dryer. He opened the machine, and showed me a pile of dusts. After removing the pile of dusts, the loud sound disappeared! I was utterly shocked that the problem was only removal of dusts; not drum faulty, not motor, not belt! I felt cheated by AB First Trading but also relieved that I did not engage their service. However, Their sales staff kept harassing me and easily called me 20 times a day (at least) to ask for their labour charges. I was so mad as they cheated on me first and I refused to pay the labour charges. After all, the AB First Trading technician did not even open up the machine. he was just here listening to the sound. I wish Electrolux headquarter can do something about this as the experience are tormenting and the harassment is getting worse. My shop is a place doing business and I really hope the harassment can stop.

We had to create space on our kitchen counters and decided to use the area above our stove. We had the small cupboard presently in place cut done by a few inches, removed the old range cover, and installed this microwave/ convection oven. Because of the convection oven, we are able to have three ovens at that location. We have a GE double oven with the control board on the front. Sometimes we use on of the stove ovens as a warmer, which we do have the space to add.

Fourteen months into a $2,000 Electrolux induction stovetop purchase, the thing died. To add salt to the wound, were 3 weeks into the thing dying and no fix in sight. Upon calling their service department, I was responsible with making service arrangements through their local service provider. I gave Electrolux the error code so they knew the faulty part, but still waited 1 week for them to tell me what I already told them. Now, it’s 1 week to order the part and 1 week to reschedule for the local service provider to install the part. The Electrolux stovetop is crap and their customer service is worse than the product. Buyers beware of anything with the name Electrolux on it.

We purchased all new Electrolux appliances for our kitchen 2 1/2 years ago. Every appliance has been repaired since purchase, one replaced and two appliances are now on their 3rd or 4th repair (these are major repairs not minor). Electrolux has been making exceptions and paying for the repairs after hours spent documenting repeated problems and pleading with them to make good on their faulty products. Our range was rebuilt last week and tonight our dishwasher broke again, same computer panel as the last 3 times.I called Electrolux again, asked for assistance and they said Id have to call back tomorrow and speak with a supervisor, when I asked if a supervisor could please call me after they review our file they hung up on me... I couldnt believe it. I went on their website to contact them and their contact form is also down, the same experience each and every time Ive tried to contact them via email. This is the absolute worse experience weve ever come across.
