Terrible customer service, I purchased double electrical range on April 22 2017, for almost 2,00.00, and my issues started. In beginning of September I notice that cooktop of range is starting melt, I called Electrolux, I was asked to send them a pictures, on September 24, 2017 so I did, once get a message that their side is not working, then second time, third time, all the same their site did not worked. Ok something wrong with email or their site. So on October 4, 2017 I decided to sent a pictures again, the same story try few times, the same reply site is not working. I contacted the local technician as per Frigidaire representative advise. Technician came in, made a picture and assure me within few days that he sent it to Frigidaire. Nothing happening. On October 24 again spoke to Frigidaire representative Quintavia and again sent the pictures, as she said that nothing is on my file. Nothing happening.Again on November 22 I spoke to Mona and again I heard that nothing is on my file, so again I resend the pictures, this time Mona called me back and confirm that she received the pictures and finally I got a case number. I was informed that the technician will have all the information from now. I spoke to technician and he told me that the new cooktop has been order and he is just waiting for its exchange, this was November 26, 2017. On December 5, technician has been still waiting for the part, on December 28 I called the Frigidaire with question when I can expect the repair to happened, and surprise I heard that nothing has been approved or ordered, and the Corporate supervisor told me that nothing can be done until January 3 2018. No apologies, no explanation, they did all properly and it seems to be my fault that I bought that range and that it is faulty. This is the worst customer service in my long life. It cost me two thousand and hours on the phone, a lot of stress. Frigidaire products are going down with quality, I am not sure, as I have a old fridge and this is one of the best, but for sure their customer service is the worst that happened to me, no one care, I felt like I was intrusion for staff and how dare I complain. If you can avoid please save yourself a lot of stress and time, spend a money with different company and have a less stress.

We recently moved into a 4 year old home with 7 Electrolux appliances. In the short time we have been using these fairly new appliances, we have come to realize that 3 of them are in major need of repair. The home we purchased is in impeccable shape and well-cared for so I can only assume these appliances were well-cared for as well.Probably 1: Dishwasher. When running the dishwasher the soap compartment always had a large chunk of soap left in it. The dishes felt like there was a residue left on them. (Repair bill $210). Problem 2: Second dishwasher. When we put a rinse aid in the the appropriate compartment I believe it all came out during the next few wash. It should have been released during the next 155 washes. This left all my dishes with a film that could only be removed by soaking everything in vinegar. It could not be washed off with dish soap.Problem 3: Wall Oven. It takes about 25 min to get up to 350 degrees. Once it does it cannot hold at that temperature. The temp gauge will read that the oven is at the set temp but the thermometer I placed inside will read much lower. If I push cancel and set my oven to preheat, the temp gauge will then realize it is not up to temp and start preheating. (When cooking something as simple as cupcakes I have to continually reset the oven so that it will stay at a constant temperature.)I called Electrolux. Their only recommendation is to call a repair service for each appliance. They will not offer me any kind warranty even though these appliances are only 4 years old. I was told they are man made and sometimes things break. Sure I understand that but when 3 out of our 7 are broken in the first 4 years of use I believe that is an Electrolux quality problem and not just a fluke.

I purchased a refrigerator in October 2017 and by January 2018 it completely stopped staying cold. A servicer was scheduled to come out within 2 weeks so all of my food went bad. A $50 good gesture gift card was mailed out to a short time later. A few months later the exact same thing happened and I lost all of my food again. If that was not enough, in September 2018, my refrigerator stopped staying cold AGAIN and AGAIN I lost all of my food. This issue was eventually elevated to the corporate supervisors, in which I had the displeasure of speaking to Shanell out of Augusta, GA. She was extremely rude and lacked basic customer service skills. She stated that these refrigerators are MAN MADE and thats what happens sometimes. At this time, I have been advised itll be roughly a week before anyone can come out to diagnose the issue and apparently theres only one technician in my area and he only does service work on Wednesdays. I will never, ever, purchase another Electrolux product. Ive never had this many issues with an appliance company at all. Buyers beware!

Shortly after moving, we decided to upgrade to an Electrolux French Door refrigerator and their newest and best dishwasher. The retailer that I had purchased it from closed their doors a week later after 50+ years in business and left us with only the manufacturers warranty since they never paid the company for the extended protection. After several attempts to get the refrigerator repaired, within the original manufacturer warranty, from the time it was delivered in October of 2014 with the dishwasher, until December we had over 5 service calls, 30+ phone calls and emails, and over 2 hours of video documenting the problems they refused to replace it, insisting they have the right to exhaust all efforts to fix it, at my inconvenience and expense apparently. I even offered to pay any difference in model to try to expedite a return if that was a holdup. I gave them one more opportunity to pick it up, I had already purchased another refrigerator. I suggested that since they keep insisting it still could be repairable although no one can come up with any solutions, that they pick it up, fix it, and donate it to a shelter of their choosing. We dont do that is all I heard. I refused to go into another holiday with this incessant noise issue. I scrapped the fridge (yes actually) and replaced it with a Samsung that has required no service. Now the dishwasher, that has already had 2 service calls in just under 16 months is not functioning again and again I am without the appliance I paid over $800 for and am waiting on a repair and will see just how long parts will take this time. We did not opt to extend the warranty since it only continues to feed the beast that really could care less about its end users. If this becomes an issue, I know that I will be replacing it within the month. The moral of the story is, if you do not have the time to have non functioning appliances or the money to replace them when you have no alternative since the Electrolux Company really doesnt care if they lose customers, DO not buy this brand. I cannot stress enough how much I regret these purchases and the amount of energy expended. As I tried to get them to understand, these are appliances, I should not have to think about them or expend energy on them, they should just work until they dont and then they get replaced. If we are happy with the performance we are more likely to keep in the same brand. I repeat, Electrolux - they just do not care!

I bought a Bosch DW, had it installed and then discovered that it didnt have a rinse-only cycle! So, I went back to the store, upgraded to an Electrolux and had the two switched out (with extra unintended expense, by the way, as the Electrolux was just a bit taller and required that I have floor tile removed - and reinstalled - in order for it to fit). That was 4 years ago. I purchased the extended warranty, just in case. But before the original warranty expired, Id had problems with glassware being cloudy, and with a garbage odor inside the dishwasher any time used the rinse-only cycle. (I always scrape dishes before I put them in for rinsing.) Repairman could never find the reason for the odor; plumber verified that the installation was correct and no crimp in the drain line. Odor continued. After another complaint, this time because some items on the top shelf remained dirty, repairman noted that the upper spray arm was catching on the wand that supported it. Fixed it, but have had intermittent similar problems. Had not called for repair, mainly due to the inconvenience of scheduling and needing to be home for the visit, but also because of some health issues that for a while diverted my attention. Now, after a few months of finding one or two items on the top shelf looking as if hot water never reached them, I called once more. Surprise! My extended warranty expired last year!!! (Upon checking, I find that the e.w. on my Electrolux oven has expired, as well.) I was never notified of the need to renew either warranty! The customer service rep with whom I spoke about this earlier this week admitted that there had been a problem with their notification system, but suggested that I had the responsibility of keeping up with that sort of thing!! I will NEVER purchase another Electrolux product, which, by the way is nothing more than a dressed-up Frigidaire. I have Frigidaire front-loading washer and dryer, which I hate (washer door will not close properly and dryer never has dried sheets or towels on the first cycle!) and about which repairmen just make excuses. Stupid me, I didnt know that both brands were essentially the same. Bottom line, count me totally dissatisfied with both labels!!

I set the fridge to 33 and Im lucky to get 37 with doors closed for 12hrs, Electroluxs response was well if you set to 33 and get 36.5 it is fine. This is my second Electrolux appliance. The first one I got was a built-in double wall oven. Had a lot of problems with the oven. After a year, they replaced the oven. All has been good with the oven now, very happy with it. Needed a new dishwasher so I went back to Electrolux - it was 3/16/09. I keep having the same problem with it. I get an error code (Er01) leak detector. I have put so much money into this dishwasher, and it still does not work. They have replaced everything that they could inside the dishwasher. The service people said that there is nothing for them to do anymore. The service people said Electrolux should just replace the dishwasher like they did my oven. Its been over a year now and most of the time I do not have a working dishwasher. The time Im spending doing my dishes and the time Im on the phone with them is driving me nuts. I just want a dishwasher to do my dishes not me. I did not buy it to look good, and thats about all it can do. I never thought about taking photos when they were working on it. I started off being so nice. Now I just have one big headache after another each time I try to get them to repair my dishwasher. They keep telling me they are working on it, but all it does is cost me more and more and it still does not work.

Not only was our washer and dryer late, but when they arrived, the stacking kit (that we purchased with it) AND the dryer vent did not come with. I tried calling like 10 different numbers to not get ANY help, still didnt. So when the delivery people came, they couldnt even set it up for us. Now we had to go back to Home Depot, explain, and show them we paid. They had trouble contacting them! So its going to be another week plus of waiting for the kit! That comes to almost 7 total weeks of waiting when they were originally scheduled to be here November 6 (originally with a 3 week waiting period). It is now November 27 and delivery date for this part is December 5. Im livid. Customer service reps are bogus and people didnt do their job right.

After installing the fridge in my newly built home, it leaked and ruined a portion of my new hardwood floor. After seven months of jumping through numerous hoops to provide documentation, receipts, photos, statements etc, they refused to take ownership or reimburse the $2,000.00 in repairs. I sent several letters, emails and left phone messages with customer service while waiting for their response and no one ever got back to me. They have highly rated products but the service is just awful. Bought through Sears a brand new 8 ft gas dryer (EFMG617STT) and it started making a noise right after installation. The installation person told us the noise would go away. Over 3 months the noise turned into a vibration until we couldnt run it. Had signed up for the Electrolux Platinum Star Limited Warranty so called up and they sent out a service repair company (All County Appliance Service) who determined it needed a blower wheel and motor. It has now been 2 weeks without them being able to fix the dryer. My wife has spent more than 10 hours on the phone tracking it down and no-one can tell where the parts are and when they can fix it. It turns out the repair company has a 1 star rating on Yelp and they dont even answer the phone most of the time and when they do, they refer to Electrolux regarding sending the parts. Electrolux (we have talked to 3 different people) say they have many clients except us and we need to wait. When we contacted Sears (which we have 3 times and they hanged up last time) they say we need to contact Electrolux. Never seen anything like this...ever. Especially when you pay $1200 for a top of the line appliance.

No time limit on how long the repair can take. No extension of the warranty for the repaired unit. Will not even replaced the already hacked up unit unless it fails two more times. Electrolux quite possibly has THE worst customer service I have ever dealt with. For whatever reason the original company we purchased this product(Front Load Washer Model #EIFLS60LT) from, and had provided service previously, no longer services our area. We are pushed into using another company for our warranty service for a washing machine less than 18 months old that suddenly the door will not open on it took over a week for an appointment. The repairman finally came out and got the door open. That was it... They did not check to see if it would cycle... Did not look for additional error codes, etc. Well, of course, as soon as we try a load it craps out with a totally different error code and naturally this is on a holiday weekend. The earliest we can get a repairman out to look is another 8 days out!!!!! Absolutely ridiculous! I plan on posting every negative review that I can and will never purchase an Electrolux product ever again.

We purchased a refrigerator/freezer with an automatic ice maker in the door on 12/9/2013. On October 6, 2014 we needed to have the water dispenser serviced as it ran by itself every minute all evening and damaged a big area as it ran into the basement, ruining ceiling tiles. A service person replaced the dispenser module which was under warranty. This morning when we got up we found that it had again been doing the same thing and again ran into the basement damaging more ceiling tiles. Now the real problem is that Electrolux cannot find a technician that will service our area and are waiting for a call back. We found a company that would service Electrolux products but they are checking to see if they are an authorized dealer. How long do we wait for service or for a call back? I will never buy an Electrolux appliance again. The same part shouldnt break after 8 months.

Purchased brand new front load ElFLS60LTI Electrolux washer and dryer July 2015. Washer leaking from underneath and called service repair company. Back metal wheel with rubber belt had continually been cutting away into the back of the drum and carved out a hole where water leaked out. There was plenty of shredded strips of the rubber belt at bottom of the unit due to half of the belt eroding away as it was carved into the back of drum with the metal wheel. Not worth money to repair. I took photos and called Electrolux customer service and asked for a discount toward a new washer or even a used washer since this one was in use for only 2.5 years. The answer was NO. They suggested I shop around for deals. They did offer me 50% off any parts. Nothing toward labor. So I might as well buy a new washing machine. On the third visit from another repairman for the fridge, after the control panel went up a second time, the leak was determined to come from the plug at the bottom of the door. Electrolux sent me paperwork to file a claim with their liabilities department, which I did at the beginning of October. To date, I have not heard back from them, and they will not return any calls, or emails. After spending thousands of dollars on appliances, you would think the customer service would be good. I bought Electrolux dryer EFMG627UTT recently on Sep 18. Dryer is taking too long to dry and customer service is poor. They already change the motherboard board and temp sensor. The predictive dry is stupid feature and not working good. The empty dryer with no load is running 1 hr and they claim that it can sense the load and moisture and predict accurately the running time. Means it should stop cycle in few min when load and moisture is 0. But still it predicts 57 min and running for 57. Technicians Jose says it is normal and per tech specification and when I asked what is the tech spec, he said he dont know. None of them in customer care knows that spec. Never buy an Electrolux side-by-side refrigerator with a water dispenser and ice maker. We bought one in 2011. After the first year, the water dispenser began to function erratically (the water wouldnt stop running). Over time, this problem cascaded into a myriad of problems that caused the entire unit to fail. We had paid for the extended warranty, so Electrolux replaced it. But now, the replacement unit has the same problems! Were reluctant to start the repair process, fearing this unit may also self-destruct. Our only option is to again pay $800 for the extended warranty but a good product should not require customers to endlessly invest in warranties. This product seems to have an inherent defect that the company has failed to fix. Save yourself this grief and buy some other brand of refrigerator besides an Electrolux.

I've had these appliances for about two months, and these machines are amazing! I don't know why I waited so long to get new ones. I love all of the specialty settings, including one specifically for kids clothes, pet beds, jeans, deep clean/sanitize, and stuffed animals! Definitely brand reputation. Had a Dishwasher and Microwave go out on me over the holidays. I seem to be burning out dishwashers at an alarming rate, the computer goes bad or motor goes out, leaks, not having good luck. So getting away from Kitchen Aid and Whirlpool and seeing the problems the new Samsung was having (people pushing chairs up against the door to keep it closed) I decided to go with this dishwasher as it was rated number one on some testing something on another site. They glorified the thing as god's gift to the dishwasher community, so okay. Ordered from Lowes, took it home and installed it. The inside is a little smaller than my last Kitchen Aid so that takes some getting used to as I like to stick car size things inside, huge pots for making spaghetti for 20 people like five gallon stuff, doesn't fit. Regular home, will not have a problem with this dishwasher, I over do it. It cleans better than any of the dishwashers I have had in the past. zed Glasses come out cleaner or more clear, well everything you can see it, I am surprised. Drying kinda sucks. I had turned off my water softener to fill fish tanks and if you use hard water, it does not dry the dishes very well. Turned on the softener, use Jet Dry and it does okay sometimes I got to shake a few things to get them dry when I take it out. The controls is something else I don't like. Press the start button and nothing indicates you made it happen. However if you put your ear to it, it makes a little beep beep sound, very faint. Then you close it and does a little faint song as to say its going and you know its going. For the amount of money I paid for this dishwasher and how well it cleans, I am willing to overlook the small things and I don't mind drying one or two things by hand, but others might see it differently. I like it and its doing good, so 5 stars. One more thing, I do BBQ and no other dishwasher can get some of the meat pans clean. I usually wash them in the dishwasher just to make it easier to do it by hand. This dishwasher actually cleans the pans first time out. Makes me wonder how long my dishes are going to last getting blasted clean like that, but I like the less work that is involved.

I purchased a new home and bought the extended warranty from Electrolux for the appliances. Within the first year, my microwave broke 4 times. On the final time, I was told the microwave would be replaced. My microwave broke over 3 weeks ago, and initially customer service said someone would get back to me within 5 business days to approve the replacement. When I didn’t hear anything for 10 business days, I called them back. I was then told to give them another 3 business days. When I didn’t hear back AGAIN, I called them and was told that these things (meaning replacing my microwave) takes time and I should be patient, and that I could possibly be without a microwave for 2 months. Does that sound acceptable?? What modern home can go without a major appliance for that long? Their customer did not care. I spoke to a supervisor who was not helpful and kept repeating the same phrase, “I understand your frustration.” However he was not offering any solutions to my problem. He did, however, tell me that if they had to ship my microwave then I am financially responsible for the shipping and installation. If you are reading this before you purchase an Electrolux or Frigidaire appliance (Electrolux provides the extended warranty) please DON’T purchase. If you have an issue with your appliance then you will regret you spent the money. Their customer service and appliances are horrible. BUYER BEWARE!

Weve had these appliances for about five years now. Weve had major service on the refrigerator at least four times. The ice maker has been replaced twice and is currently not working, the drawer guides on the main drawer in the refrigerator area have had to be replaced and the temp sensor had to be replaced. The spring on the dishwasher door broke off its mounting plate, the door handle broke off of the microwave, and a year later the entire door assembly has fallen apart. They look pretty nice and the dishwasher is quiet, so Ill give them one star but these are just not well-built appliances. Save yourself expense and frustration. Look elsewhere...

I had purchased an Electrolux washer and dryer in July of 2015. I spent over $2200 on the pair. I noticed almost immediately that the washer wasnt completely spinning the clothes dry. I assumed it was because it was too full. I lightened the loads and the problem still continued. I often had to rewash the loads 4 and 5 times to get it to spin dry. I had family come in to stay with me a few months after I purchased it. They used the machine and told me to call the company and have someone come out. I did and when the service guy came out he had told me that the entire inside of the machine needed to be replaced because a bolt came loose and pushed the drum forward. He informed me that the was a lemon and that I should get a replacement machine. He also said this would take 2 weeks and 2 guys and a 5 hr job. 2 weeks without a washing machine was unheard of in my world. I immediately called Electrolux and spoke to a manager. They told me all they could do is fix it and pay for the repairs. They told me to talk to Sears where I bought it to see if they would do anything for me. Well Sears did nothing!!! Literally said its not our problem and they dont deal with Electrolux. Then why the Hell do you sell it??? Never shop there... Ever. Anyway the repairs guy came out 12 days later. Fixed it and 1 week later I called to report the same issue. He retired to tell me its just the way this machine is. Nothing else he could do. Again, 2 weeks later the machine stopped spinning all together. They returned and said the bolt was loose again. This time they glued it. 7 months old and the machine is being glued. Well I said, pretty bad for a new machine to be treated like a 10 year old one. I called Electrolux and told them this was the 3 call on the same problem and this should be treated as a lemon and the machine should be replaced. The woman agreed completely and said she would get on the problem. Well never heard from her again. My husband called, talked to the manager and he said now that its glued it should be fine. I would have to wait for it to break again before any action takes place. Ive been out of laundry for a total of a month and for some reason they think thats ok!! I dont!!! Never ever purchase from this ** company. Save your money please.

Where to begin. We purchased all of our Electrolux appliances when we built our new home. Fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer. All Electrolux. We have had the induction stove in the past and loved it, so decided we would buy the same brand for all of our appliances. In the first few months of owning them we had problems with everything. The fridge ice maker gets clogged and leaks water. The microwave light stopped working and was replaced just barely under warranty. The new microwave control panel no longer lights up, therefore we cannot see what we are doing. It is now out of warranty and is apparently our problem. The dishwasher. Wow, what a disaster. It’s quiet and that’s about the only good thing going for it. It leaves the dishes wet no matter what cycle we put it on. We have replaced the control panel not once but twice under warranty and the one side still doesn’t work unless we bang really hard on it. It is now also out of warranty and they will not fix it. The washing machine detergent drawer doesn’t drain properly and always has water in it. The dryer is ok but the rubber gasket comes out all the time.We spent over $10,000 on our appliances. Appliances that are supposed to be “high end” but quite frankly, this company not only makes junk, they could care less about customer satisfaction or service. Being a business owner myself, I find this deplorable. I will never buy from Electrolux again and not even 3 years in to owning our appliances, we will be replacing both the dishwasher and the microwave as neither function to get their respective jobs done. Very disappointed. Save your money and buy another brand!

The ice maker has never worked. It does not maintain the right temperature to keep the ice from melting. Ice turns into solid block and is not usable. All the parts that could be replaced have been replaced as per comments from technician. There is a design flaws and the technicians have repeated that they have many issues with these refrigerators. Under the service contract, a replacement is called for after 3 similar calls. We have asked for a replacement and all Electrolux does is to send more technicians trying to wear us down. Our LG top of the line troublesome fridge of 5 years died leaking water on
Our LG top of the line troublesome fridge of 5 years died leaking water on our wood floor. LG does not stand for Lucky Goldstar or Lifes Good; in my dictionary it stands for Lousy Garbage! Enough about that. We were now in a lurch for a new fridge without having the time to thoroughly research our purchase. Instead of going to a chain store that sells appliances (have you ever attempted to contact a salesman at Sears? Its a joke!) we decided this time to go with an independent appliance store. Initially we may have paid a little more, but what we received in service was priceless! Since we were less than a week away from Thanksgiving the owner bent over backward to deliver within a couple of days and the installation was professional, clean and non-damaging to any of our belongings. We went with an Electrolux counter depth model with the freezer on the bottom. We were impressed with the features and based upon that my husband wanted the deluxe model which had a special drawer for ice cream so that it is not rock hard when you try to spoon it our of the container. After it arrived I looked at ratings for this model and they were horrific. I felt my heart sink to the bottom of my feet, especially after the amount of money we spent. I didnt tell my husband right away for obvious reasons and decided to let time pass to see what transpired.Three months have passed without a single issue. It is a pleasure to have in our kitchen. The produce doesnt freeze, we have loads of room inside because of the design and we have loads of ice, a problem with counter depth french door fridges and one common complaint about the Electrolux. The ice dispenser on the door is great-small cubes just the right size for a glass or crushed if desired. The cubes actually come out when the lever is depressed (non existent with the LG) and water doesnt drip after dispensing water. The ice maker in the freezer is ingenious! Now I dont have to listen to the ribbing from my daughters about the stingy ice maker. All in all, I think that we made a wise purchase, and well worth the money.

I purchased a new apartment sized washer dryer combo approximately 2 and a half years ago. It was always noisy when it was on the spin cycle but then the noise became unbearable so I called an authorized repair service. I was told the shaft was broken and it would cost $700 or more to repair and there was no guarantee it wouldn’t happen again, that cost me $100. I called and complained to Electrolux and they said all they would do was cover 20% of the cost of new parts which to me is next to nothing. So the lesson is if you buy from Electrolux get the extended warranty and good to you.

I purchased all 4 appliances: the refrigerator, the stove, the dishwasher and the microwave. Ive had issues with all of them. I am not exaggerating when I say I had 22 repairmen come out to fix my refrigerator, including their own engineer who flew out and spent 8 hours and even he couldnt fix the problem. Very sad! There was issues with the ice machine and sliders which left the freezer door open for I dont no how long and the light comes on when it wants to. The stove has stopped working, so of course we had to eat out on Thanksgiving and Christmas and its still not fixed. The frame around the top was bent when delivered so the whole thing had to be replaced and there were some missing screws. My dishwasher has never properly cleaned the dishes; Ive given up on having clean dishes altogether. What Im saying is if you are on the fence about purchasing Electrolux appliances, take a walk in my shoes. Its been a nightmare since I purchased my Electrolux. I dont mean to bad mouth a company but having my appliances for the short time that I have has only caused me stress and frustration. I saw some of the complaints before I made my discussion and thought that some of the people had nothing better to do but complain, but now I believe all the people that have had issues because Im living it. I’m stuck with a very bad product. I will have to live with it until the warranty run out then they will go on Craigslist. Last summer, we chose the appliances to remodel our kitchen and replaced our 10-year-old $1,500 Kenmore refrigerator with a $3,000 Electrolux stainless one. It was delivered in September... but wait, it was a different model. When we questioned the dealer, he told us that Electrolux had discontinued the model we ordered and that the one we had received was the replacement. However, there were a few small catches. It was all stainless like the one we had ordered, the inside was organized differently and the freezer had two drawers rather than three, not to mention the quality seemed to be significantly worse. But the dealer and Electrolux tried to tell us it was an equal replacement... right. There didnt seem to be a lot of options at the point so we settled with a far too small compensation. The dealer (Standards of Excellence in Concord, CA) came out and installed it in October. When they left, the doors werent even. In February, the flap on the French doors was jamming when we closed the fridge, so we called a service company. They came out, ordered the part and two weeks later, replaced the flap and tried to align the doors (not completely) and left. A few months later, the flap (mullion) failed again and I called a different service company. They came out, ordered the part, came back with the part, and spent a lot longer aligning both the mullion and the doors and left. The doors now seem to be fixed although they arent quite even. However, about a month ago, the ice maker stopped delivering cubes. It only gave out crushed ice and the display was giving some strange messages once in a while. The service guy came out again and said that the solenoid for the ice maker had gone bad, had dropped down and had fried one or two of the circuit boards. He replaced the solenoid but had to order the boards. Evidently, the fried boards were causing the computers to go nuts and provide random messages on the displays (and to the diagnostics he was trying to use). As of Monday, everything seems to be fixed... for the moment. But I have no confidence they will stay fixed. This morning, I called Electrolux to complain; their suggestion was to pay for an extended warranty. I absolutely hate the idea of giving Electrolux another cent for their poor quality product. My 10 year old Kenmore is happily humming away, working perfectly in the garage. I wish I could make it stainless.

A small and simple to replace part (the latch for the dispenser drawer) broke on my EIFLW55HIW0 model washing machine. I contacted Electrolux expecting to be able to order the part. They referred me to their parts manual (which required going to the Frigidaire website). Unfortunately the part was not shown and I was told I would have to purchase the entire assembly. When I told the support person that I had no assembly that even looked like their parts diagram, they essentially said, well that is the parts diagram. There is a clearly labelled part number on the drawer assembly, but it does not match their parts diagram. In other words, although the model number is the same, the design has clearly been changed so that matching parts are no longer available. There is no part number for the part that is broken so apparently that was not considered a separate part.

In September 2013 I purchased numerous appliances for a house I was renovating. Among those were an Electrolux washer, dryer and 2 wine refrigerators. The appliances were delivered and installed in February 2014. The dryer steam valve malfunctioned in less than a year flooding the laundry room and damaging the wood floor; that was repaired under warranty. The washer malfunctioned a few months later - out of warranty - when it would not spin clothes dry. That required a service call and parts replacement for $454. About a year later the same problem arose. Another service call, another $454. Recently the problem occurred for the 3rd time. I was told that I needed a new drive belt and that the bearings were bad. The quote to repair was more than the cost of a new washer. I replaced washer and dryer with Maytag versions. The wine refrigerators have fixed shelves so close together that Burgundy style bottles cannot be placed on them without causing the shelf above to come out as well. The only solution is to skip a shelf if you need to store bottles wider than standard. Oh, yes, one of the refrigerators temperature controls no longer works.

I bought the top of the line appliances by Electrolux for my kitchen. The really pretty one Kelly Rippa advertises. The designers did an excellent job. Love the design and functionality of the dishwasher, fridge and stove. Sadly, the designers were wonderful, but the engineers were terrible. Dishwasher - leaves chalky residue on everything and gets error codes 11 and 1 all the time and has had several repairs that took FOREVER. Stove - needed a new board after only a few weeks. Fridge - has error code EF for evaporator fan. Ice Maker - lets just say that if they had tried to make a more terrible ice maker that it would not be possible. It cannot keep up with a family of 4 without running out. You put it on cube and it crushes the ice. I hate it. These appliances are only 6 years old and I paid a fortune for them. It has only been in use for six months in a two-adult household. No demanding tasks; never overloaded or abused in any way. It is junk. Early on, it began to have failures of all kinds; excessive vibration and noise; six repair visits; one repair required the machine to be in the shop for five days while the inner drum, outer drum, bearing, and rollers were replaced. The staff refuse to provide contact information to anyone above Supervisor and Ive been at this since receiving this defective fridge in May 2020. I am frustrated that Ive spent so much money and wasted so much time trying to resolve issues that should not exist in a new product.Original Review: I bought a Frigidaire Professional refrigerator from HOME DEPOT who broke the door upon delivering it. They replaced it with another unit which was defective. The defective unit was replaced with a unit with defective parts again. Electrolux and HOME DEPOT insisted that it be repaired, not replaced. They sent out a tech three times then advised me that they approved a replacement weeks prior. That was on July 29, 2020. The (3rd) replacement was authorized on July 8 (without notifying me). It is now August 20, 2020 and I find myself once again on hold for over an hour to be told Sherine at HOME DEPOT cant find the information and cant help me that I need to call another dept.I called the other dept. who said I had to deal with HOME DEPOT.... Yes, I spent hours and hours calling these companies only to be placed on hold for hours and I am still having to wait for them to figure this out. My review is about the really long wait times on hold (today only it was 2hrs and 17 minutes in total), the fact that too often they dont know how to use the phone and say that there are phone system issues today. Too often they are rude and unhelpful. Consumers need to think long and hard about who they buy from. Too often big companies are buying the competition and limiting consumers options, then remove quality of service. Its time the consumer speaks up or stop buying crappy product from companies who dont care to provide care.

They said they require two functional failures to replace a new fridge. They only offered to send a repairman to fix it. I did not pay for a repaired refrigerator. They said we will have to work with the retailer to resolve the matter (who says we will have to deal with Electrolux). Today my carrots are frozen, and the freezer is white with frost. We paid $2500 for a defective fridge, and Electrolux will not stand behind their product. Two different customer service reps even told me the same lie about defective cars they bought, and how the dealers would not replace the cars. Horrible product and horrible customer service!

Bought a brand new Electrolux model EIFLS60LT washing machine. It had to be repaired three times in the first year. Each time they would come out and work on it they also had to order parts. We went without a washing machine two times for a month and one time for two months. We had to wait for parts that would take forever to get in. I purchased an extended warranty. Guess what broke down again. I asked to get the machine replaced. They said I started a new extended warranty and it will have to break down three times before they will replace it. I had also asked when it was under the manufacture warranty if they would replace the machine. They said it would have to go to a review board to see if that was acceptable. They never called back. Please purchase a Maytag for your own peace of mind.

Electrolux Refrigerator Model EI26SS55GB0 - I purchased this refrigerator in September 2009. The refrigerator showed problems after I purchased the unit. The main first problem observed was the freezer and refrigerator temperatures were wondering. The digital display also had elements that burned out. The unit was out of the manufacturers warranty when this occurred. I had Sears come over to diagnose the unit and they said it was the interface board. This was in 2012 so based on other posts about their refrigerators I guess comparatively speaking I was doing pretty good. Anyway one month after the new interface board was installed the system started to wander in temperature again and would not stabilize. The Sears technician again came over and replaced the same board at additional expense. The display elements are still not working properly. The segments look like they are getting ready to burn out. We turn off the display to save this part. Now about a month ago the ice dispenser quit working. The issue appears to be the main board which is very expensive to replace. I called Electrolux and they offered me 10% off of the part; Really!!! The board is over $300. I have a friend who owns an appliance store. He told me that he has dropped the Electrolux line. I asked him why. He said when he sold their products he had a ton of circuit board problems. In fact he has a customer that has a similar problem that I had; the temperature wondering. He told me that his customer had a technician out 3-times to change out the board(s). Finally the third time appears to have fixed it however the previous times it went down - the food rotted in the unit and now has a smell that she cant get rid of. My friend is going to swap out the unit with another brand b/c he feels so bad.Anyway bottom line - refrigerators should last much longer than this. I was told Electrolux was a top notch product; NOT!!! Please stay far, far away from this brand. Youll do yourself a favor and avoid MUCH grief!!!

6 Appliances, 12 problems, expensive solutions: We built this new home about 5 years ago. Its just the two of us and our dog. In the past 5 years we use the home about 7 months of the year. Every single appliance has had problems, too many to outline. Some of the problems Electrolux has no fix for other than expensive parts to fix parts that they knew did not work. More problems are on the way, as our microwave has stopped rotating and our freezer is making a funny noise as well as the fan in the convection oven is making sounds that it did not make before. These are all top of the line appliances that should last more than a couple of years of use. However Electrolux does not agree or care. I am going to start a class action lawsuit in Canada against them, my email is **. Write me if you would like to join in.

We have had nothing but problems with our Electrolux appliances. This is not just one model, but many different appliances. When we moved into our new house we unfortunately purchased all Electrolux including fridge, stove, dishwasher, popup vent, and over/microwave combo. This was all about three years ago. Since purchasing new appliances, the fridge has needed repair twice, the vent hood fan went out and we replaced it with a different brand (Wolf), the stove and oven have had issues and just recently our dishwasher cooked itself. It made several popping sounds and we smelt electronics burning in the kitchen, then the dishwasher shut down and wont come on again. Its now being replaced with a Bosch dishwasher.Do yourself a favor and AVOID Electrolux and their brands. They make junk. Also be careful as some brands like Kenmore use Electrolux to manufacture their goods. Do your research and stay away. I hope my review will help someone save time and money. We spent about 12K on all these new appliances and after 3 years, we are already in the process of replacing them. Getting the fridge repaired was a major hassle with their repair department. Its going to be easier for us to just purchase new appliances and start clearing our house of Electrolux. Never again Electrolux!!! You have been banned for life from my house and Ive already told hundreds of friends to stay away from your brand.

We built a new home and purchased all new appliances in 2009. We bought an Electrolux French Door Refrigerator and a 30 Double Convection Wall Oven. The first thing to go was the panel on the wall oven. Then the Ice Maker. Twice. Both under warranty fortunately. Then the French Door had to be replaced because the magnet at the bottom of the door kept sticking and we had to pull on the door so hard to get it to open that the door split open. Luckily we were good friend with our Appliance Sales folks and they got an Electrolux Sales Guy to give us a new door. Now the ovens dont work. Started with the lower oven not coming up to temperature. Lets not even talk about either of the temp oven probes which are so badly designed they cant tell the difference between the oven temp and the food temp, so they either turn off the oven to keep warm before your food is cooked, or they cook at the temp you tried to set for the food. Dont think 140 for beef is going to cook anything. Anyway, back to the lower oven. Oven panel says one temp, but gauge set in the oven says much lower. Then the upper oven started doing the same thing. Had a tech look at it, and he asked if I had just run the cleaning cycle. When I said yes, his response was Dont run a cleaning cycle before a Holiday! Meaning that the oven problems happen during a cleaning cycle. Anyway, both oven liners have buckled and are touching the heating elements, causing them to ground out. I need two oven liners, two heating elements, one relay panel, two guys and four hours of labor to repair by oven. Total $2,400 for an oven I paid $3,600 for 5 years ago. You would think you would get more than 5 years of an appliance. Then the French Door went again. This time its the major electrical panel, so now that another $500 service and part repair. Is it worth writing to Electrolux?

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator and stove in July, 2014. I thought I was purchasing a reputable brand, so I didnt need to purchase an extended warranty agreement. In January 1, 2017, the refrigerator stopped cooling. I lost items in the freezer as well as the lower refrigerator section. I called a service technician referred by Lowes. He told me the diagnosis and the repair would be as much as a new refrigerator. I called Frigidaire Customer Service. They told me the only thing they could do was offer a discount on the replacement part. I still would need to pay for the labor and the part. I recently retired and cannot afford to do this nor purchase a new refrigerator. I have now been without a refrigerator since January 1, 2017. I had to begin 2 jobs to save up to hopefully purchase a refrigerator. As it stands I will not be able to do that for at least 2 months. I am very disappointed in Frigidaire/Electrolux. In the great scheme of things I may only be one consumer, but even one should matter. I had to use a computer at a school since I cannot afford internet. I left the paperwork at home so I dont have the receipt with me to add to this.

I purchased an expensive fridge from Electrolux. The ice maker never worked. The repair people came out countless times. Repair people told me the ice maker is unfixable. I paid for an extended warranty being told that I could get a replacement for my fridge if it broke down 3 times within the year. When the break downs continued, the repairman told me that they are not allowed to report the appliance irreparable & that they are obligated to continue to try to repair it even though that is not possible. Electrolux basically never has any intention of honoring a warranty with a new appliance. It is all a big scam to get you to pay more money & them not be on the hook for a bad product. Very disappointing from a supposed high end appliance company. The customer service there is a joke and will be so frustrating to deal with. You will want to throw your fridge out the window. They will lie to you point blank about multiple things. Too long of a list to name. FYI my fridge has been the subject of a class action because it has been proven this ice maker is bunk and does not work. But under the class action of course you get nothing -- like $100. Nothing compared to the aggravation or the cost of a new fridge.

I cannot remove something that is not there. Therefore, I had to clean the oven myself. Keep in mind that I cannot use any type of cleaners since this is supposed to have a self cleaning oven. Electrolux FFHT2117LWO over-under refrigerator: This was a replacement for our old one under a utility company energy program. It has run OK, but you cant turn the defrost off, and it seems to run a lot. The handles are our biggest problem. We had to remove the bottom door handle because we hit our heads on it a lot-- opening from the left. It seems to be in just exactly the wrong place. Then, when youre rummaging in the main frig cabinet and straighten back up, POW you hit your head on the freezer handle, very painful and the handles have sharp edges, too. I have thought about removing their awful handles and making my own which curve up, from the bottom of the freezer door. They are not reversible. Emails to Electrolux customer service have gone without response.

This appliance is a piece of junk and the service has much to be desired. Bought it with other kitchen appliances while redoing the kitchen. Have only used it two months and here are my complaints: doors were dented when unit arrived, new doors were put on with seals put on backward, water filter leaks water on the floor, unit makes more noise than expected. Freezers doesnt seal. Even after service people allegedly fixed it I thought it still didnt seal. Turns out I was right. The freezer door rails need replaced according to third service company!! The electronic computer board has malfunctioned and is reading error codes. The refrigerator will not maintain cold. The evaporator fan needs replaced - not working. Some type of Unit blew out when there was some type of power outage. Now, keep in mind this is two months of use!!!!!! I am filing a lemon law complaint and complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The response of Dormont Appliance and Electrolux has been much less than stellar. DO NOT PATRONIZE EITHER OF THESE COMPANIES (for your own good!).

I purchased a 48-in duel fuel range in 2009. The range was not properly wired, and I have had nothing but problems. My range was actually built by Dacor but that is not the problem. The problem is Electrolux. I have made numerous calls to Electrolux to ask for assistance, request diagnosis of problems, and to try to locate repairmen. Nothing. I finally found a local repairman who has beaten a path to my house from his shop. The latest problem is a circuit board that controls the small oven. That oven inadvertently switches to broil during baking and needless to say, I burns food to a crisp. The repairman has called Electrolux, Electrolux acknowledges the problem because it has happened numerous other times to other people. It is an Electrolux problem, and Electrolux still will not warrant that part which is costly. I have never been offered an extended warranty on my range, but if I were, I would certainly collect all the costs associated with this piece of equipment and get rid of it. Viking or Wolf would certainly be better than the inefficient products Electrolux puts out. Buy Electrolux at your own risk.

I called today Dec 24th 2020. Spoke with support staff who asked me to hold the line for more than 15 minute, this call was suspiciously ended by the support end. I called again. Another operator came on the line to say that the technician will fix it next Tuesday. Where in north America can we do without a refrigerator for two months. Bought a new front load washer and dryer from large local furniture & appliance distributor. An upgrade we thought from the used appliances we got from my fiances parents (which should be noted had last 12... yes, TWELVE years). Not even 3 months in and the washer quit. The issue - the flywheel in the back came loose, or was simply not tightened properly when built (HINT - manufacturer DEFECT!!!), and cut deep grooves in the back of the hard plastic housing, so far you can see through it. And it eventually threw the belt off, thus giving the tub no agitation to wash or spin. That was how we discovered something was broken. Completely useless washer. And that is exactly how Electrolux is now working with us (LOL) to resolve the problem. THEY are completely useless!!! Even their local authorized service company confirmed it was inoperable, that it was irreparable AND it was a manufacturer DEFECT. And to further the agony, the apparent leakage of water over probably a few weeks, has caused water damage and mold to the brand new linoleum and woodwork we put into the laundry room as part of our upgrade. And their response - file a claim with OUR insurance company and then see if theyll subrogate. WHY should we do that when YOUR APPLIANCE DEFECT caused the problem?! I say again, Electrolux is completely USELESS! NEVER again will we buy ANYTHING Electrolux. We thought these new washer & dryer were a dream, but now has turned into an incredible nightmare!Hey Electrolux, heres a noble idea... Stand behind your products and take care of the consumer and maybe even small problems will be overlooked and youll get a better reputation. NOT with us mind you, that is utterly shot to heck! Completely useless!!! In closing, AVOID ELECTROLUX PRODUCTS AT ALL COSTS! Save yourselves from the insanity and stress. Weve been hassling with them almost 3 weeks now and no washer. Units are made in Mexico and are poorly tested, made and stood behind by Frigidaire who warranties this 23 sq ft stainless unit for 1 year. You can get an extended 3 year warranty called a Platinum star warranty as an option. Little faith it might last one year as we see it. Numerous complaints are on the web primarily centering around the a ice maker. We are on # 3 ice maker in 6 years since purchase. Customer service in Ga. was a TOTAL waste of time and we were advised no recalls or bulletins had been issued on any model. Wished you could have heard their lack of concern. We guess after waiting over 30 min. for an agent, most people would have bailed on the call and we called first thing in the morning. Keeps the complaints down if you cant wait an hour to get help. In addition to the ice maker, we now have a ce code alert on the front led panel and no lights in the unit. After shelling out 3 service calls for this fine work of refrigeration- this will be our last, The repair is scheduled in 12 hours and it will be sold.We called our place of purchase Goedekers in St. Louis and discussed our displeasure to the owner whose sales people pitched this as a great deal for $3500 in 2000. The sales people placed it in the category of Sub Zero, Wolf, and Viking. Goedekers were asked today to have the local or regional rep. contact us but they doubted we would hear from them so now we are warning all consumers. We are on city water and when the unit was installed-GOEDEKERS ran the water line. To replace it if that contributes to our issues- the current repair people now say I need an additional plumber charge to re-install it. More charges to remedy a piece of crap that had little testing on it before it was placed in the market place. Craigs list will be seeing this soon- we pity the buyer but will just say we are going with another brand and this runs fine now. It is true Electrolux sucks - in vacuums and now refrigerators. We purchased Electrolux dishwasher, electric range, and fridge; have had for 4 years. First the ice maker handle broke. I ordered one from Electrolux thinking it was out of warranty. Later I found we had purchased extended warranty. By this time, the digital display on the range was not working so we called for service repair. We purchased from Lowes so their service company was A&E. They came, looked at the stove, and said they ordered a control module which I disagreed with. I said it needed the clock display module, but who was I to argue because I am not an appliance repair person, but I am a General Motors and Subaru master technician. I discussed with the service person that I had already paid for and installed a new ice maker control module not realizing it was still under warranty. So I proposed to him, “You order me a new ice module as I still have the old broken one to turn in under warranty. You can tell your company you replaced it. If you like, just leave the new module with me because if it’s broken this soon it’s bound to break again.” So the parts come and so does a different repair person. He gives me the ice module and then shows me the control board which I tell him is not the right part, but he says he is going to install it anyway. He tells me he has never worked on an Electrolux. To make long story short, he broke my cook top, had to order a new cook top, and he also ordered the clock module that I knew was the problem. They never did get the cook top mounted correctly and now my icemaker is broken again. The water and ice will not shut off, so I get the new ice module and install it...It’s junk right out of the box. I called Electrolux; they could care less...DO NOT BUY THESE APPLIANCES.

From day 1 I have had problems with these machines. I had it serviced several times, the service people contacted Electrolux to discuss issues and new parts were put into the dryer and it seemed to help for a while, but now it isnt drying the clothes without extra cycles. The washer is a total wreck. The drum broke and that had to be replaced. It is so loud when it spins, it sounds like an airplane taking off. Then it was the thermostat heating the water to boiling hot on every single load even delicates. Now the front door wont stay closed. I hate, hate, hate these machines. I was just curious if there had been any recalls on these machines? Would appreciate any info you can give me. Thanks.

I purchased an Electrolux Wave Touch Standard Depth model EW28BS85KS5 a little over two years ago. After less than a year, the Temp Perfect Drawer seized up and could not be opened. I worked with Electrolux rep to get the repair and all was covered under warranty. Either while I was waiting for repair or shortly after the repair was completed, I was contacted by and ESA representative and offered, for a price of course, an extended warranty. The representative was fully aware of the issues I had with the drawer. Since my confidence level in product quality was now low and believing the extended warranty was as comprehensive as the one year warranty, I purchased the extension. It has been a little more than a year and the drawer has the exact same issue. I contacted ESA to advise them of the recurrence. They advised me that the warranty does not cover the drawer. Only functioning parts of the refrigerator that maintain the cool temperature, the ice maker and the water dispenser. I have tried working with them, but to no success. I do not appreciate a product attribute that is designed to last only a year. I hesitate to spend the money to have it repaired again because I fear next year I will have to have it repaired again. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Two stars is too high but Im past angry, just very dissatisfied with my Electrolux appliances. Ive had major problems with my dishwasher. Within several months and after numerous replacements of the control panel, I was already on my third dishwasher. Its working now but it does a questionable job of cleaning. Some of the dishes come out dirtier than they went it. My inexpensive GE did a better job and in ten years I never had a repair issue. The dishwasher now just sits there looking pretty as Im no longer using it. I love my induction range... when it works. At 23 months not one, but two control panels went out. Electolux agreed to cover parts which Im told would have been a couple thousand. I paid a few hundred for the service technician. Repairs took approximately six weeks. Before and after the replacement I find myself making frequent visits to the electric control box to flip the switch and wait while the range reboots. This is extra irritating when I think food prep is almost done only to find the range top or oven is not working. Between the dishwasher and range I estimate Ive had 18 service calls. Each one of them forcing me to take anywhere from two to four hours of uncompensated time away from work. Ive not had any major problems with the refrigerator except that its poorly designed. When you close the freezer drawer, ice slides over the back of the container preventing the drawer from closing. We keep a yardstick nearby to slide the ice out as the opening is too tight to reach our arms in. Guests have needlessly apologized for closing the drawer too hard. Please! The filters need frequent replacement and are expensive. Our salesperson made no mention of this foreseeable cost. And the darn alarm doesnt work when the drawer is open (because of ice thats slid where its not suppose to) and the ice cream is melting; but it goes off in the middle of the night, screaming for me to come turn it off, when all that happened is the electricity went out for a few seconds. The range hood works okay but its noticeably louder now than when we first installed it. Through all of this Electrolux has been more concerned with the performance of the contracted technicians than with the performance of their appliances. Im at an age where lots of friends are doing kitchen remodels. I tell them all, dont buy Electrolux. Spend your $7K+ elsewhere; And they are.

Warning. Do not buy from this company. We bought a Frigidaire double oven. Paid $1500. The very first time we try to cook on it the unit completely shorted out. We contacted Electrolux. They sent out J&M appliances to repair the unit. They replaced the fans four times, the motherboard three or four times plus numerous other parts. J&M Appliances have been to my house 10 times to fix different things but it went wrong with the unit and four times to diagnose it. They called Electrolux for me trying to get me a new unit being it was only a few months old. Electrolux denied the new unit so, I’ve sent emails to the CEO jonas.samuelson@electrolux.com and I believe it was the Vice President jan.brockmann@electrolux.com. Neither of them have responded back to me. Here’s the kicker. I spoke with a RITA **. She’s some kind of an executive assistant pretty high up. I told her I wanted a new unit. That this was ridiculous having to leave work and meet the service rep 14 times. So she told me she was not going to replace the unit. I was out of luck. Mind you it’s still under the one-year warranty. I have proof with the receipt. She didn’t care. Also Rita ** put a block on my Electrolux account so nobody else can help me with the problem anymore. I’ve called them numerous times asking to speak or two different managers and the managers tell me that she put a lock on it and only she can get into my account now. Be warned about this company. Do not purchase any of their appliances. The one year manufacturer warranty or any other warranties do not matter to this company. Do your research. Read all the reviews on Facebook, Yelp and any other social media. I should’ve done it before I purchased with them. I would not have bought any of my appliances through them. This is one crooked company.

I own an Electrolux ICON, high-end Counter Depth refrigerator. The Ice Maker has NEVER worked properly. The fan keeps making noise and freezing up, and the ice maker refuses to fill. Ive checked every possible problem it could be, from water pressure to filter replacement and more. Something as simple as an Ice Maker / Dispenser should just work. Theyve been making ice makers for refrigerators for a long time. Its not rocket science. And, why is Electrolux able to simply ignore this problem without making it right for the customer(s), thousands of them unhappy and likely never to purchase another one again, due to horrible customer service and company unwillingness to fix the problem.
