We have purchased two Frigidaire Professional ranges, and neither will work. The part number is FPEF3081KF. Frigidaire is saying that the problem is the electrical service in this part of the US (Kansas), however, we arent having any problems with the Frigidaire Gallery, GE, Samsung, or Whirlpool appliances in this same small development. Supposedly Frigidaire is replacing one range (with what knows what), and says the other doesnt qualify because its not a manufacturing defect.I cant follow the logic there, since neither one will work. I guess Kansas must be the equivalent of a third world country and we just shouldnt expect to be able to buy appliances and actually have them work. Another Frigidaire representative says that replacement power supplies are being engineered, and they should be available in a few weeks. In the meantime, two military families are living without being able to cook. If you want logical and caring customer service, dont buy a Frigidaire. Frigidaire thinks its okay for people to wait weeks for repairs.

My husband and I just bought our first home. We went to home depot and purchased a washer, dryer, and stove. We made our purchase the Saturday before thanksgiving. Unfortunately, our first delivery date was delayed and a week and a half later I received my washer and dryer but the stove was damaged :( they gave us a new delivery date of Dec 16th for our new Frigidaire stove. They came yesterday and installed it, I was so happy to finally have my stove. Well anyway, today I woke up and put my oven on. The troubleshooting directions said you should turn oven on 400 for 30 min to help alleviate any smell and to break the oven in. So I did just that. The morning went on, I took my daughter for a walk and came home and put her for a nap. The next thing I knew my carbon monoxide detector was going off!!! I opened doors and windows, grabbed my daughter and out of the house we went. I called the fire department. They found out it was the oven, not the range. They said, You need to call where you got this and have them come and get it, the stove is faulty. See this machine, and it started to go up and up when he turned on the stove. When I called to have this deathtrap removed from my home and replaced they told me Dec 23rd. Needless to say, I went to a different stove to purchase a stove and also a different brand. I could have died, my daughter could have died. Frigidaire didnt care, didnt help. Im so glad and thankful nothing bad happened but I will tell you, after this experience I will never buy a Frigidaire. I have many years left to make purchases and Im a hairdresser so many people will hear this story. 1 positive experience reaches 1 person whereas a negative experience reaches 10. I sure hope thats enough for them to see the error of their ways.

We bought our appliances 4 yrs ago. Dishwasher doesnt clean good and started leaking after 3 weeks. REFRIGERATOR has been garbage from the get go. We paid 2500 for a refrigerator that only had a yr warranty. So far we have spent another 1000 on it because its junk! I will never purchase Frigidaire products again. I have a GE refrigerator that we have had for 20 yrs and it works better than the new one. Needless to say I will seek out old appliances before I ever buy a new one again. They made them cheap, sell them for thousands and rip off the consumer. Nothing like big business!!

Run, dont walk away from this deplorable company. I replaced ALL my kitchen appliances October 2016 with the Frigidaire Gallery series through Home Depot. Ive had 5 service calls on the refrigerator. The last serviceman advised me, Thats just the way it was made, theres nothing I can do. My most recent complaint was the handle on the dishwasher is rusting! After 22 minutes on hold I was told by the customer service rep that, If you look on page 22 on your owner’s manual, you will see that rust inside and outside the unit is not covered. After speaking with a manager, as a goodwill gesture she mailed me a new handle. Really. Goodwill? Why dont you manufacture decent products and goodwill would be implied. Consider yourselves forewarned. Dont be foolish. Dont spend your money on Frigidaire appliances.

Be warned, this is the worst appliance in the world. We spent $2500 for the Frigidaire gallery 4 piece set, the stove top burner sticks, the dishwasher makes a loud noise and my refrigerator/freezer has been off and broken since Thanksgiving 2011. Its now Easter 2012, a ** joke. They have the worst customer service and they even think the repairman is any better. He fixed it and it broke again 2 weeks later. Piece of **, do not buy this product. Absolute crap.

Purchased Frigidaire Professional Series gas stove & refrigerator from Lowes 2 years ago. STOVE: model fpgf3077qfb. The ink on stove faceplate, indicating the functions; bake, broil, convection, clean, etc and the temperature numbers are rubbing off. Cannot read the function or the temperature. Frigidaire states there is no fix for this and I would have to replace the entire faceplate. Cost of part $130.00. (who would install & how much?) The face plate becomes so hot when oven is on, it is difficult to use touchpad timer-ouch! Hot! Product failure not covered under warranty. Single nurse in my 60s, do not bake every day or even every week. Have not used harsh or abrasive cleaning products. Stovetop grates are uneven and you cannot pull a pot across the top -- it catches and you have to lift the pot to move it off a burner. Additionally, poor design on oven door. Vent slots are so sharp and unfinished I have cut my fingers and fingernails when opening the door. Oven racks are difficult to slide in and out. REFRIGERATOR: model fpbc2277rf5: Ice cube function on refrigerator door jams continuously and you have to remove the ice tray, pour out the ice and adjust the screw. The crushed ice function sprays ice everywhere. Old fashion ice trays would be better. I DO NOT RECOMMEND FRIGIDAIRE PRODUCTS.

I bought a new Frigidaire refrigerator from a company that went out of business a few months later (H.H. Gregg). Within 6 months, we experienced multiple problems (doors would not stay shut, shelves breaking loose from brackets, icemaker malfunctioning). Called Frigidaire just prior to manufacturer warranty expiration; they scheduled a service call from a local repair shop. I stayed home from work to meet them, but they did not show up. It took over 2 weeks for them to find a different local repair shop. Missed work again to meet them; they couldnt fix it without replacement parts. 3rd service call (more missed work), discovered Frigidaire sent defective repair parts! 4th service call (more missed work), they finally gave up and said the appliance was a manufacturer defect and unrepairable. By this time, the manufacturer warranty had expired, so Frigidaire/Electrolux refused to cover the replacement cost! Same problem it took them weeks to conclude was not repairable. Their incompetence led to the delays past the warranty period. Finally offered to give me a replacement unit if I agreed to pay a $325 shipping and handling charge! Even I agreed to that, they would not guarantee that the new unit would be free of defects. Said I would have to rely on their standard limited warranty for repairs to the second unit. I refused and demanded a full refund, but they wouldnt budge. They even refused to pay the bill for the multiple service calls to try and repair the first piece of junk, until I threatened legal action. Their customer service was beyond terrible. They lied repeatedly and could not communicate within their own company. They did not care about me or my concerns. I will NEVER buy another product from that unethical company!

There is nothing wrong with Frigidaire products. They make them to last. It is the consumers responsibility to take care of the product. I have all Frigidaire appliances and I havent had any issues. You have to change the water filter out in those fridges every 6 months. I have purchased extended warranties on all of my appliances just in case. These products are machine and man made. Nothing is guaranteed. When you purchase appliances we take risk. So instead of not buying the warranty, go ahead and purchase the warranty. It is only a couple of hundred dollars more and it will protect it. You wouldnt drive a car without insurance.

About 18 months ago, we purchased a Frigidaire Professional Double Convection Oven, a matching Microwave/Hoodfan and a matching Warming Drawer from Sears. Total cost was about $6000 as I recall. All four of the (no name) bulbs in the ovens failed within three months of very limited use, suggesting to me that Frigidaire/Electrolux were using cheap and nasty bulbs of unspecified make which were not fit for the intended purpose. I replaced them all with bulbs from Noma and not one of the four Noma ones has failed since.About 10 months ago, we carried out the recommended self-clean cycle, following which the top oven would not come up to temperature. Sears service was called, took up my time removing the oven from its cabinet and replaced the thermal trip/breaker which is located in an absurdly inaccessible place at the back and behind the oven for a (resettable!) trip. Sears wisely decided to fit a new trip rather than just resetting the original one. Then, about three weeks ago, we noticed that the enamel is failing on the bottom of the top oven casing, clearly the result of faulty manufacturing. It has fallen off in several places. I contacted Sears and they claimed that this was cosmetic and not covered by the extended warranty which I had purchased. At my insistence, their service man came out and inspected it and clearly told me that me his view is that this was not cosmetic but is a manufacturing fault. I was party to his end of the telecon he then had with his supervisor, and it was clear that his supervisor was telling him (from 2000 miles away, never having seen the problem at first hand) that as far as Sears was concerned, it was cosmetic and not covered by warranty. Sears made no reference to Frigidaire on the issue. It was clear that the dishonest Sears supervisor was telling his service technician that he was to tell me that the issue was cosmetic, and appeared to be instructing him that that was what he was to write in his report. I spoke to Sears customer Service (a misnomer if ever there was one) and they told me that the service guy had stated in his report that is was a cosmetic issue, not covered. They then told me that they had ordered a replacement casing (in effect recognizing that it needed replacing) and that I would be charged for it. Well, at some point, theyll be asking me for my credit card Number and no way will I ever be giving them that! We carried out another self-cleaning cycle a couple of weeks ago and the top oven once again will not reach the set temperature. Looks like the issue is not the trip at all, but a more fundamental problem. So, but for the fact that we have the second oven, wed have been ovenless again for some weeks. This week, I phoned Sears and told them that after all these issues over 18 months of very limited and very careful usage, I wanted a replacement oven, as I was unprepared to tolerate such an unreliable and poorly-manufactured product and could not devote yet more of my valuable time to dealing with yet more service calls. They have declined to agree to that.Today, I contacted Frigidaire/Electrolux in Misssauga and spoke to some creature whose English was barely understandable and who basically told me that the whole matter was one for Sears, not Electrolux. I found him obstructive, unhelpful and unworthy of a customer service position. There was no recognition that any of these issues were in any way the responsibility of Frigidaire/Electrolux as the manufacturer of the appliance! So, both Sears and Electrolux will now find that they are having to deal with a Scotsman who doesnt tolerate fools gladly, doesnt tolerate so-called customer service as appalling and unreasonable as this and doesnt tolerate being *** to.I am truly appalled at the obstructive, dishonest and unreasonable attitudes of both Sears and Electrolux and currently await a visit from a senior Sears technician, which is being arranged at my insistence. Neither Sears nor Electrolux give a *** for the fact that a customer has spent several thousand dollars on a major name product branded professional (suggesting superior quality and reliability) which is of unmerchantable and unsatisfactory quality. I wouldnt touch another Frigidaire/Electrolux appliance with a bargepole but this issue is far from over. Watch this space!

Ever since we got this top of the line fridge new, Eve noticed that the ice maker is nearly useless. If you use ice then be prepared to constantly turn on the quick freeze option, which really doesnt help either, but at least you get some ice. Now though to make matters worse, the ice hopper has broken, the ice maker drips water out of the front door and spews water all over our floor every time we open the door. The ice turns into gigantic chunks, the width of the entire hopper, by melting together- I cant even open the door without trying to break the chunks by running the ice maker, and risking burning up the motor. So I ordered a replacement unit, but everyone must be having this issue because theres a nationwide backorder. Last time I buy this brand, it sure looks nice, but only if you dont need an ice maker.

We bought this Frigidaire model a few years ago when our old one stopped working. I like Frigidaire products, they are normally well-made and reliable and last for years. The fridge itself is performing well, I wish it didnt have glass shelves, and was a bit larger, but it was all we could afford on our budget. We have had to replace the door handle already, it has a weak point near its upper mount. While its serves us well otherwise, I only wish wed been able to purchase a more upscale model.

I have purchased about 6 stainless steel Frigidaire packages (stove, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator) for my upscale rental homes since 2008. Every year I have multiple problems with every single one of these appliances in every single rental home. My renters are not mistreating these appliances. The thing that goes out on these is the electronic motherboard and the cost is $300 for the board plus another $150 for installation labor. I have finally decided that I will start replacing these appliances as they break with other brands. Right now, I have a stove with a bad board... This is the 2nd one, and a dishwasher with a bad board. These appliances are costing me so much money!!!

Have had issue with Frigidaire gallery, food in the top compartment freezes! After many phone calls, numerous service calls, parts replaced, their solution is to move shelves around! Problem started under original warranty and I stupidly purchased another 2 yr contract. Waste of money.

I purchased my product from Best Buy in 2007. I was pleased with the product for the first few months. Over a period of time, I always smelled something burning when I opened the cooler side door, like plastic; but, I was never able to locate where this was coming from. On January 31, 2012, I opened the door for about 15 minutes to clean out the product and kept smelling burning plastic. I looked up and was in awe at what I found. The (original) light bulb, that rest on the ceiling of the refrigerator (fridge), had burned right into the lining of the ceiling. At that time, I realized this is a faulty product; this product should not be in any home. I have a repair man come out and view the fridge, and he stated this shouldnt be in my home because, this could potentially cause a fire and burn my house down, leaving my family homeless!I went to http://www.frigidaire.com/contactus and filed a complaint through email; the response that I received was a standard response any company would use to not accept responsibility and place the blame on the customer, who bought the product. The response was as follows: Thank you for contacting Frigidaire. We sincerely regret you have experienced difficulties with your refrigerator. Frigidaire provides very comprehensive warranties with each product to guard against any parts that may be defective at the time of manufacture. However, we are sure you can appreciate that a point is eventually reached when the manufacturers responsibility for repairs under the initial warranty must end.Our experience has shown that an original defect in material or workmanship will develop very early in the life of the appliance. After a reasonable period of service, many factors beyond the control of the manufacturer may affect any product. The problem experienced is almost always due to the door being left open for inordinate periods of time or from replacing the bulb with a wattage too high for an appliance application. There is a liner repair kit available that an authorized Frigidaire service provider can install that will repair the damage. Please choose from among the following authorized Frigidaire service providers that serve your area: Major Brands Appliance Service, LLC / Newton, IA / 50208-3226 / (641)831-3840 Appliance Service Center / Des Moines, IA / 50315-5072 / (515)256-3090American TV Appliance Service / Madison, WI / 53713-2346 / (800)854-6659We offer extended service agreements for all customers who register their appliances with us to guard against any unusual problems that may occur outside of warranty beyond usual wear and tear. Thank you again for contacting Frigidaire, BoThis, is not acceptable. I requested that they repair the default or refund the amount less depreciation, so I am able to purchase a produce that would not place my family in danger. I recently ordered two replacement drawers for my refrigerator directly from Frigidaire. The junky plastic ones they came with broke. At $43 a piece and $11 shipping, I had a hard time buying replacements but I decided to splurge. When the parts came, they were the wrong parts. I looked at the packing slip which said, very clearly, to repackage the items and use the included shipping label to ship them back. If the problem was with the shipper, they would reimburse me for the return shipping. I did exactly as asked and shipped them back. The shipping cost $27.80. After I sent them, I called to let them know and ask how to submit the cost of the shipping for reimbursement. I had paid extra for tracking, as the company had recommended on the shipping form.I waited on hold for almost an hour before I spoke to someone who said that they would not be able to reimburse me for shipping because I needed to call them FIRST. In the 1), 2), 3) list of things to do to make a return, calling them first was never mentioned. I asked to speak to a manager. None were available. We purchased a Frigidaire Gallery French Door Refrigerator six years ago from Howards. It cost us over $2000. In October 2016, it stopped cooling and freezing and we first noticed an SYCF code. We called Frigidaire and were told to order the control board which sits behind the ice maker. The part was ordered on Nov 6 and came after Thanksgiving! I was so mad and when I called Frigidaire, they refunded us for this part because it took over three weeks to get. This control board didnt fix the issue, so we called them back. It was recommended that we call a certified technician on their list. I contacted Riddle after speaking with Frigidaire. Theyre a certified repair service for Frigidaire. I called on Tuesday, Jan 3 in the morning and their technician, Ben, showed up that afternoon. After 15 minutes, he diagnosed the problem is that the switch board with two 5 amp fuses needed to be replaced. He said that he would call the following day to give me a price for the service and labor. For the 20 minutes he was here, it was a $79.00 service charge. I received a call from Ben the following morning at 10:00 a.m. stating that the cost would be $629.20 because he would replace the switch board (that he diagnosed the day before) and the main control board (below the refrigerator). I said THREE times that youre charging me for the main control board based on an assumption you have that it wont work because the switch board doesnt work. I said that isnt right since he didnt diagnose or test the main control board to see if it needed to be replaced. He is basically charging me for a product that may not be broken. The original cost was around $350 and now with this new bogus main control board, it totaled $629.20. AVOID USING RIDDLE who is suppose to be certified repair company for Frigidaire. I called Frigidaire and explained my experience with Riddle and ordered the main control board. The rep I spoke to pulled up the specs for this model and I clearly stated its the control board which sits behind the fridge, at the top left. I confirmed THREE times because he kept calling it something else. He assured me that it was the right item. About 7 business days later, I received the item and guess what? It was wrong.I called and spoke to Juanique, corporate manager on Jan 12, 2017 (remember, our fridge has been broken since October 2016) and she returned the incorrect item and shipped out the right part. She gave me 20% off and free ground shipping because of all my issues. As we waited for the part, we decided to buy a new fridge to avoid all the headache and future issues with this refrigerator. On 2/1/17, I called and requested an RMA number. It took over 10 minutes because the rep (April) could not locate the order. Their system is absolutely ancient and wastes too much time for the consumer. My experience with this location has been NEGATIVE. The customer service reps need more training, attitude adjustments. The two managers I spoke to were very helpful and actually fixed the problems created by their employees. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE GALLERY FRENCH DOOR refrigerator (model #FGHB2844LF1). The ice maker broke two years into the purchase. We didnt fix it since we have a U-Line ice maker.

I fail to see that on any ad or paperwork at the time of purchase - nor did the repairman say anything about locale, he did state when asked that he would put it in the report that pad was not covered at installation - he did not! First issue at 3 mths- screws were not tightened from the factory inside the dryer properly which came loose and fell inside the unit causing the heating element to seize. Belt was replaced, but technician replaced a motor control sensor on washer which did not fix the problem. Frigidaire will not yet replace our unit and is ordering 5 MORE PARTS to fix the washer!!I have asked multiple times if we can have a replacement unit since the machine is intrinsically faulty! And I am told that there will be no placement of our unit until the TECH dept deems it unrepairable, which the technician that worked on the unit is saying that he feels its unrepairable. This has taken 6 weeks now and Im still without a washer! Not to mention the trips to the laundromat, the time off of work I have taken to be home for the repairman. This has been an absolute nightmare. I cannot believe that a company would not stand behind their product and treat a customer this way. I will NEVER buy Frigidaire products again!

I took the oven door along with the Frigidaire Range model number and serial number and the manual that was supplied with the stove to Milhorn Appliance Co., Kingsport, TN. I was given an estimate to replace the door glass of $59.95 plus $50.00 labor. It was to be picked up the following Wednesday. When I called to verify the pick-up, I was told that the price now would be $170.74. Milhorn would not return the door without the glass. The range cost $595. I would not have agreed to the increased price. I would have bought another stove. Frigidaire continues to recommend this shop.

I purchased a new Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator and had it delivered in J
I purchased a new Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator and had it delivered in January of 2016. I bought it through Best Buy and the delivery was an absolute nightmare. Right away there were issues. I ordered a model with black exterior and received one that was grey and was told that the model I purchased was no longer offered in black. I agreed to keep the model that had been shipped. From the beginning the unit made a lot of unusual noise. Within the first year the water and cubed ice indicator lights quit working and the ice maker would freeze up so much in the back that the auger couldn’t turn to dispense the ice. Every couple of months I would shut the ice maker off and the ice would thaw and water would run out and down the front of the refrigerator door. It seemed to function better through the warmer months of the year. In December of 2017 the ice maker stopped working altogether. I recently called a local repair company to come out and take a look at it. I was told by the repairman that the problems that I am having stem from a flaw in the design of this particular model and that Frigidaire is well aware of that. They build a moisture barrier kit to replace the design flaw in the back of the unit. This flaw causes moisture to continuously build around the water lines, the fan, and the ice maker and it freezes causing the ice build up and malfunction of the cooling fan for the ice maker. This inevitably led to the electronic panels failing. I have been quoted by him at just over 800.00 to repair all items with no guarantee that it won’t happen again. I paid nearly 2500.00 for the refrigerator with two years of use and I’m facing an 800.00 repair with no guarantee of a repeat problem. I contacted Frigidaire to ask if they would at least be willing to assist in offsetting some of the repair cost. I asked them why, knowing that a problem existed so much so to create a repair kit, did they not contact consumers to offer this repair kit before problems like mine came about? They had no good answer for me. They have offered to send me the sweat kit that they claim fixes the moisture build up but are not willing to assist me with any further parts or repairs. So, here I sit stuck with a 2500.00 two year old refrigerator that requires 800.00 in repairs with no guarantee that it won’t happen again. Quality product and customer satisfaction is clearly a thing of the past.

This dryer was never the best, but just before the year warranty was up. We got the error code “E 64 Call Service” (the element). I had emailed and tried to call Frigidaire with no response at all. I therefore replaced the element at my cost of $200. About 1 1/2 years later it happened again, ok replaced it again. And 2 more times 1 year between each time it happens. Then last October it happens again and this time I email Frigidaire again and this time they respond and say, Sorry, you are out of warranty and we cannot help you. Not happy I replace yet another element at my cost. Well this one only lasted 3 months. With ZERO support from Frigidaire we are buying another Dryer and will NEVER buy another Frigidaire product ever again.

Purchased home in June 2017 with new Frigidaire appliances included in purchase. Started off with the electric stove which the burners did not work, was told by the warranty center that they would be out in week or more. Ended up calling out an electrician to fix the problem and paid him $90 so we could eat. Thank heavens we did not wait. Our next problem was last night we went to bed and awoke to have our refrigerator door open and our food defrosting. Proceeded to call the warranty center and got really no satisfaction. Was told to call the repair company. Was told by them, So sorry. Charlie maybe out on Tuesday of next week. Thank you so much Frigidaire.

It appears (according to service repair man) Frigidaire ss side by side PHSC239DSBO has a wiring harness issue. It falls into the drip pan shorting it out which could cost $300 for a circuit board if that would correct the problem. He states Frigidaire knows of the problem but refused to do a recall. My neighbor and husband rewired the harness and strapped it up so that it will not fall into the drip pan again. Presto, I have power to freezer side. I called Frigidaire for help and they referred me to the service man who in turn stated the repair was out of his league. So, I called back Frigidaire to get someone else. I have yet to hear from them again. In the meantime, we fixed it ourselves. If Frigidaire had only strapped the wiring harness up to begin with, I would not have a problem. It is possible that the harness could have blown my compressor. Luckily, this was not the case. Just a piece of plastic did the job.

In May 2013 I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery side by side refrigerator, model FGHC2331PF7. I recently noticed rust on the back of the unit by the ice maker. When I researched this problem I found out Frigidaire has been aware of this problem as the unit does not have sufficient insulation. I contacted customer service. After a week of emails and providing all information requested the rep led me to believe Frigidaire would be taking care of this problem and I needed to provide my available dates so a tech could diagnose and repair the appliance. Now I am being told they will not be taking care of this problem and I am on my own. BEWARE and research any Frigidaire product you purchase because even when they are aware of a problem they will not take care of it.

We purchased a new house and we were thrilled to have all new Frigidaire Professional Appliances installed. We immediately had problems with our refrigerator. The seals in both doors are still not working properly after having been replaced. It has randomly stopped working for no apparent reason. We have had a door replaced on it (as it was dented upon arrival). I have asked for a replacement as it is not reliable but because it is still under warranty they will not replace the unit, just continue to try and fix it. Our dishwasher has also needed replacement parts (we have been in this house around 6 months now) as it was not heating properly. The latch on our microwave was not working so when the service company went to replace it, they broke off some plastic parts and currently it does not work at all. Three appliances all with problems within the first 6 months. I have been a homeowner for years and never had such challenges or problems in the past.

Purchased a Frigidaire dishwasher in November 2016 but it was defective right off the bat. Water was not flowing into the unit. Waited for a serviceman who said it needed a valve, waited over 10 days for the part to arrive. Another certified repairman came to install but that was not the problem. He said a switch had not been turned to its proper position. Began using the dishwasher but on February 25, 2017 I started the dishwasher and left the house only to return to find the door of the dishwasher open, the floor wet and the electronic starter on my cooktop clicking. At some point in the cycle the door blew open. The force was great enough to spray water 6 to the cooktop.I grew up with Frigidaire products that my parents trusted and got great service but that was 50 years ago. The product today is substandard and it seems Customer Service really doesnt care. I wish I had read the online reviews before my purchase but I trusted the product. Needless to say I will never purchase another Frigidaire ANYTHING and I will discourage anyone else to do the same.

Frigidaire is not standing behind their product. The control panel on our 6 year Frigidaire Professional Series double oven wall started blinking. We already replaced the control panel in 2013. We were incredulous. We called Frigidaire and were told, The blinking lights signified the control panel appeared to be broken. They advised us to have a certified repair man visit to be sure it was the control panel. We did ($80). It was; so we called them back and ordered it. They took our order. 18 days later we called. They said they did not have the part and had refunded our money. They never notified us.Today Frigidaire told me they discontinued the stove and have no parts available. I searched online and called local stores. No parts available for a 6 year old stove. They did not tell us this when they advised us to get the repair person. We expect a stove to last much more than 6 years and are very upset the control panel would malfunction twice in 6 years!!! They offered us nothing. We are very upset since Frigidaire was always a name we trusted. Never again.

The Frigidaire Refrigerator we purchased started developing extreme frost in the freezer from the day we purchased it. The Frigidaire Warranty Program sent 6 different repair guys out to change the freezer seal, heat up the freezer seal and reapply it, adjust the freezer door, adjust the hinges, replace the fan motor, still extreme frost from some type of air leak in the unit. They will not replace it. Theyve spent way more in parts and service than a new refrigerator would cost. The Corporate Manager who was supposed to call me back to advise on the refund of the warranty has not called back. If you get a refrigerator get the Lowes PROTECTION PLAN. Bought Frigidaire microwave 6 months ago. Quit working and after 4 service calls, runaround from Frigidaire customer service, many lost hours of frustration (too many to count) Im at my wits end. Last service guy told me Frigidaire will NEVER replace an appliance. Said theyll just keep trying solutions, ordering more parts, etc. After 2 months Im done! I bought the microwave from Wayfair so as a last resort called them. After a couple of minutes on the phone they gave me a FULL REFUND without having to return it! Really? I also found this hoping it will help somebody:Here’s what worked: 1) Be nice. Every person I spoke with at Electrolux tried to help. 2) Take notes. Log every problem, every conversation with support staff including who you spoke with and their company ID, if they have one. 3) Know what you want to accomplish. The company would have been happy to continue repairing the fridge until it was out of warranty. I made it clear that the warranty would not expire until I had one year of trouble-free operation. 4) Put a limit on what you will accept from the company. When I got to my limit (and you must be reasonable about your limit) I required the company take action.5) Talk to a person who can say yes. When the service person says “no”, ask to speak with a supervisor. The language that finally worked for me with a third level supervisor was: “Can you authorize this (replacement or refund) or should I speak with your legal department?” 6). Be prepared to follow through. I did not ASK for a replacement or refund, I told Electrolux that I would accept nothing less, I filed a complaint with my state’s Department of Consumer Affairs and I let them know I was willing to file suit to replace a defective design. At that exact point, after receiving their copy of my filing, Electrolux refunded the full purchase price of the refrigerator and refused to pick up the old one. Never, never buy Frigidaire again!!!

For whatever reason they did they never got my authorization, then the tape came off a few days later after was applied. That’s when I saw the hole next to the crack, Frigidaire offer to send another company for a second opinion. The company came and told me was unrepairable. I call again and they said that they were sending other companies. They schedule me about 6 times holding my time for 5 hours every time. I called Frigidaire and spent minutes on the phone explain every representative the same issue. They all reschedule me, no one shows up. No one ever fix or replace my fridge. Even one of the companies they sent out told me that Frigidaire was one of the most awful companies to deal while you have an issue, they stated that is just a cosmetic problem and isn’t affecting the function of the refrigerator. Now I stuck here with this suite of appliances from Frigidaire with a hole, a crack and a tape sticking off my Refrigerator. They called it Intermittent Freezing. Yet the place that I purchased it from (though nice) did not offer to replace & I think they could. They are to have someone come out & look at it again. I WANT A NEW ONE! I didnt pay almost 700 dollars to have a brand new refrigerator already need several repairs. Then later when it has more problems Ill have to pay for it. Quite frankly Id love my money back & Id buy a totally different brand. My last refrigerator lasted me around 30 years with NO problems during this time. SO far I am not happy with the place that I purchased the refrigerator from as I believe they could offer to replace it immediately. I am not happy with Frigidaire so far. I will be happiest with a total refund. I would happy with them EASILY offering & providing me with a brand new refrigerator that is not this model/serial number & a better refrig. We have had our Frigidaire Affinity for EIGHT years with no problems whatsoever--till yesterday. The washer stalled on the spin cycle. Problem was wads of some kind of matted, tarry stuff on the drain filter. Stuff that comes off dirty clothes? Don't think I cleaned the washer every time it asked "Clean washer"? And think maybe that was the problem. OR, how to get out the gunk that accumulates on the filter? Where is my manual? Can't find. I purchased a new double wall oven in Oct. 2012, and was generally happy with it. The first time we tried to use the self-cleaning feature, after several months, after a while running the self clean, the oven showed an error code and then shut down. It worked fine otherwise, but we have not been able to self clean. In the past month, we have started getting the same error code (F43) when using the oven for regular cooking as well. Although we could tolerate the lack of cleaning, we are now trying to fix. Frigidaire initially would not help, as we are out of the 1-year warranty period. Then they offered to pay for parts, provided we use an authorized service technician. They sent me the 3 service technicians in my area, and 2/3 did not return my phone call. The third came out and reported that the labor alone to fix the oven would be over $400, requiring replacing of a fan and a sensor. I contacted Frigidaire again, expressing my dissatisfaction with the oven, and telling them I didnt see a reason that a new oven should require these new parts, as well as being unhappy with being forced to use a particular service company, who seemed to be charging a very large amount. Completely unhappy experience, and I will not be buying a Frigidaire again.

Bought over $6000 of appliances while renovating my kitchen (less than three years ago). First issue arose when cast iron grates on dual fuel range had peeling paint off grates. Called when the stove was about 8 months old. Told there was no warranty and if I wanted something better looking, I needed to buy new grates. I did, supposedly got a 50% discount but grates were still nearly $100. Just had my 5th service call for icemaker repair... each time after paying $130 service call always requiring parts to fix... spent around $800 in repairs so far. Tried to speak to customer service about my frustration and high cost of obviously defective product. No offer of compensation other than 50% off parts ordered from them, big deal. I even tried to speak to a supervisor and got no other offers of help or even trying to remedy my situation. Not to mention a cracked piece of plastic on the top of my freezer door damaged by the repairman that cannot be replaced... Frigidaire does not sell this part and I need a whole new door... absolutely ridiculous and poor service after spending my hard earned money on several appliances... I would never purchase again. I have a 14 year old whirlpool fridge that is an extra-- still in use in my garage. I have done nothing other than replace the water filter. Never one ounce of trouble. Next time I will buy whirlpool.

Dont buy Frigidaire, Electrolux, and sadly GE appliances (all one company now owned in Sweden). My Frigidaire side by side broke after less than 5 years and the only thing they will offer me after calling twice and speaking with a manager (first supervisors name was ** the second was **) both times is 50% off (not including shipping) a part needed when ordered through them after paying for a diagnostic visit of $78. After doing my research consumers should expect a fridge to last 10-15 years. This company only want to guarantee you that their $1,000-$3,000 product will last a year! After that they believe you should pay more to protect yourself from their poor quality and unreliable product as they will not stand behind and guarantee the quality.I think this is completely unacceptable and disgraceful. And the company could care less. I asked them to allow me a credit of $78 from what I would be paying the repair man quote, towards the part as I felt that would be more fair and they refused. So after paying over $1,000 for their product that failed in less than half its life expectancy they were unwilling to give me a credit of $78 with no remorse. Also while calling for service from local repair people I asked them from their experience who are the best and worst out there for refrigerators and they said best: Maytag and Whirlpool. Worst- Frigidaire/Electrolux /GE. Remember when you shop online and look at reviews- companies pay people to write great reviews but not to write bad ones. So take special note of the poor reviews. I have what I consider a fairly new machine - bought in 2010. It has operated well with minimal use since my children have been grown since its purchase and since we own two homes (both with laundry) and use this less than half time. The last load I washed was fine. As I put a new load in, the error light showed E90 and it beeped. I could not get either to stop, so pulled out all the manuals that came with the washer and dryer that I got from Sears. Spent quite a while reading through all 3 to no avail. So looked online. Still there was nothing to let me know what the problem was. By this time I was feeling very frustrated. So I found an 800 number to call. I was shifted to 4 different people, repeating info several times. By the time I got to a tech, I was very frustrated. Then she could not find the particular Error code - Even with the info on her computer and available from me as to the specific machine! That seems strange. However the tech seemed to be sure that the problem is the computer board. Not sure thats the correct term. My last washing machine lasted over 20 years with no need for repairs. So I am extremely disgusted to find that the board will cost over $200.00 and the service fee will likely be at least $130.00. The tech tried to sell me an extended warranty for $215.00 (to save me money). This washer is only 4 years old! I feel hoodwinked. My washer in my other home is over 20 years old and is fine. Why would I ever buy another Sears product? Which is a shame, because I have gone to Sears for large appliances since 1971.

We purchased a Frigidaire kitchen package brand new from Menards. Frigidaire warranty doesnt cover anything purchased after the first year. Right out of the box we had a crack in our first dishwasher but didnt notice until we ran a few loads and it leaked water all over our flooring and sub flooring. Frigidaire did ship us a new dishwasher, but we had to pay for the additional installation charge. Fast forward a year and the inside glass on our oven door exploded for no apparent reason. We were baking potatoes in the oven when the inside glass exploded. We bake maybe once a month. This oven has barely been used when this happened. Appliance repair companies are quoting $300-$400 for this repair. Two of our four appliances failed in under 2 years. Very unsatisfied. The lady over the phone had the nerve to tell me thats what extended warranties are for. She was rude and condescending. Im definitely never buying frigidaire again.

I redid my kitchen and bought the Frigidaire professional series range, fridge and dishwasher. The 1st stove had to be replaced within a month for electrical problems, 2nd stove the wire was shorted out and the burner did not work. The fridge drawers were put together with tape from the factory and were broken. Sent me new ones, wrong ones. I have owned Frigidaire for over 30 years. They have gone downhill and I would never buy their appliances again. Also, dealing with customer service - you are on hold for 20 minutes. Some people are rude. Some are nice. I was swayed away from Samsung and LG because all the dealers told me you cannot get repair people to fix them. I dont know what I would next time. I was also suppose to get an extended warranty for 1 year parts and labor on the range. Havent seen it come through the mail yet.

I bought a fridge with an ice maker in the fridge. For the first 8 months the ice maker made 120 to 150 small cubes of ice daily and worked to my satisfaction. Then the ice production dropped to about 40 to 50 cubes daily. After almost a dozen service calls the unit was replaced with a new fridge. For about 8 months the second unit worked as described in the manual making 120 to 150 small cubes in a 24 hour period. Again the ice production dropped to 30 to 40 cubes daily. This time after 3 service calls from 2 different companies I was told by Frigidaire that the unit is working properly and the ice maker is only a convenience and they have left me hanging with an ice maker that does not produce ice. The technician that came out said the ice maker temp was 28 degrees and too warm. Should be 9 degrees. Frigidaire tech support said it is working properly so I got hung out with nothing.I wrote the CEO Mr. Shaw and his assistant called me and said nothing they can do and Mr. Shaw does not even know there is an issue because he gets screened from everything. I will never purchase another Frigidaire product. A friend has the same unit with the same issue. There is a design flaw but instead of making good on it Frigidaire changed the specs and now it makes 30 to 40 ice cubes daily.

Grating noises from ice maker FFHS2611LWMA. I selected this refrigerator b/c it was available to be delivered the next day. Now I know why! Nobody in their right mind should want to purchase this unit. Shortly after delivery, we experienced a racket beyond belief. It is so loud it wakes me up at night. We called an approved service technician, while under warranty. He stated this is just the unit. There is nothing to be done. Two letters to Frigidaire. Today after the 2nd letter, the rep. suggested I contact an approved service provider. I asked her why would I do this, when the provider operates under the dictates of the manufacturer. Therefore, I would incur an expense for no corrective measures whatsoever.... She further stated, this sound is standard for this unit. As for my experience, I have concluded...Frigidaire is aware of this loud and disruptive feature and continues to sell it to unsuspecting customers. The least they could do would be to put a disclaimer on the unit. PLEASED BE ADVISED THAT YOU ARE PURCHASING A BANGING, KNOCKING, ANNOYING REFRIGERATOR. THANK YOU FOR YOUR BUSINESS!!!

Frigidaire Gallery stove has had problems from the beginning. I bought the warranty and had to use it on several of my Frigidaire appliances including the stove for gas leak during the first two years. Now stove is leaking gas again. Called Frigidaire and they told me my model stove was involved in a recall due to gas leaks and the potential risks that causes but my serial number is not within the correct range so even though I am having the same issue as the recalled stoves they will not do anything to assist in fixing the stove. The company was uncaring regarding the potential risks due to their faulty gas range and said I was on my own to fix it. I would never again buy from this company as I have also had issues with my Frigidaire washer, dryer, and dishwasher. If a company will not correct issues with their faulty products they should not be supported. Please look around and purchase something else or end up with a faulty product that the company wont fix like me.

These appliances are only 15 months old and Ive had numerous problems with them and Id like to warn others about them and encourage them not to buy them. After being married for 49 years we had all new matching appliances and I was thrilled! But these appliances have been nothing but problems... Before the warranty was up, I had to have 4 or 5 service calls on the refrigerator. The first time I tried to clean my self-cleaning oven, the glass in the door shattered and I was left without an oven for about 2 weeks before they got it fixed, and was told by the service man that it really isnt good to use the self clean feature because it could damage parts in the stove. Now about a month ago my dishwasher just stopped working! Now Frigidaire did agree to cover the cost of the repair since it was only 14 months old, but only because I really put up a fight, but now a month later Im still without a working dishwasher! Service man came out yesterday and it seemed to work because I cleaned it because it had been sitting for 2 weeks and I wanted it clean before I washed dishes. After dinner last night I loaded it up and started it and about 3 hours later, my husband and I were in the living room watching tv, and it started making noises. I checked to see if the dishes were clean and they werent so I called service again and now its going to be another 5 to 7 business days before they can even get the part! Im just thoroughly disgusted and I want to warn others about it..

We purchased a new dishwasher in late 2009, along with a new kitchen. Within months of our kitchen install, the doors started to peel and crack around the dishwasher. Our first thought was that there was an issue with the finish on the cabinets. Why didn’t we think that the dishwasher was to blame but the cabinet company that replaced the cabinets? Now in our new kitchen the same problem has been happening. This apparently is a well known design flaw. I contacted customer service and they would not even let me speak to a supervisor. Apparently, they do not care about satisfaction in the least. We’re just out $600 for a poorly designed dishwasher that has ruined 2 new kitchens.

When I moved into my house in July 2012, the Frigidaire kitchen appliances were all new: refrigerator, gas range, dishwasher, and microwave. They were the lower-end Frigidaire models -- but I was okay without having any bells and whistles. I registered them all right away. Within 6 months, one of the refrigerator door shelves had cracked in half (apparently a gallon of milk was too heavy for it), so I had to buy a replacement part. Within 18 months, the door switch on the microwave malfunctioned -- which meant that anytime the microwave door was closed, the microwave turned on! (Thank goodness that happened while we were home, or I imagine my house would have caught fire!) It was past the one-year warranty, and customer service was horrible and unhelpful. I would have had to pay a minimum of $150 to have it even looked at, plus the parts and labor, plus the cost to have a handyman take it down and then put it back up.The customer service representative even admitted that it wasnt worth repairing. I gave the broken microwave to the metal recycling guys and bought a Samsung (which I love). Now, a little over 2 years since I moved in, the glass inside the oven door SHATTERED when we turned the oven up to 425F to make a pizza. (I have a photo but I am not able to upload to this site.) Im thinking there must be a faulty seal in the door, but I really cant be sure how this even happened. Glass particles are falling out of the bottom of the door, so now we have to be careful when we walk in the kitchen. I am going to demand a new oven door from Frigidaire customer service: But at this point, Im saving up to buy a new gas range. I will NEVER buy a Frigidaire product again.

My wife and I purchased new appliances for a kitchen redo. We bought a top-of-the-line stainless Frigidaire dishwasher. 18 months after installation, a control board burned out, a $280 repair charge. I contacted Frigidaire Customer Service and received what looked like a form letter telling me Frigidaire offers very comprehensive warranties with each product to guard against parts that may be defective at the time of manufacture. Needless to say, since it was older than 12 months, there was nothing they were willing to do for me. I understand that things sometimes happen, but what matters to me is what customer service is willing to do to make a situation like this right. My advice to potential buyers would be to stay clear of any Frigidaire products.

If the stove breaks down again we have been advised to not repair it anymore. I look after my belongings very well and I expect products to last a lot longer than 35 months!! It had an energy saving device which helped reduce my summer electric bills. It was easy to operate. The air conditioner produced cold air efficiently for over 20 years. It was very quiet. There was little vibration. The operation of the unit had energy efficiency. In 20 years I only had two service calls to have it repaired and one was simply a freon leak. It was a room air conditioner that fit into the wall. It fit securely and did not detract from the room decor. It came in decorator colors that were neutral so that it blended well with my living room decor. It was very non intrusive. This air conditioner operated efficiently for over 20 years. After I sold the house the new owners were still using it in the humid New England summers. Two service calls in all that time speaks volumes for its reliability.

I bought the gallery series Refrigerator, Range, Dishwasher, Microwave on 11/18/2014. On 7/1/2015 the refrigerator (model# FGHS2655PF) quit working completely. I could not get anyone at customer until the next day and my service appointment was not until 7/6/2015 because they only have one service provider for the whole Cincinnati area. I had to leave work early to meet the repairman, only to have him say he needs to order parts and come back on 7/9/2015. Had to take off work again to meet repairman and to have him tell me he needs more parts and needs to come out again on 7/11/2015 to then tell me he cant fix it after 3 1/2 hours. The whole time that I talked to Frigidaire they did not care that I lost everything in my refrigerator (approx $200) or that I didnt have a refrigerator at all for the last 10 days. They still have to review whether they are even going to replace it. $1000 refrigerator lasted 7 1/2 months? What has happened to FRIGIDAIRE? They used to be the brand I sought out to buy.

I purchased a side by side refrig last year. Purchase date was 9/9/13. I reported the refrig was freezing everything on both sides on 9/8/14. One day before the warranty expired. They informed me since it was reported before the expiration date that all was covered. They scheduled a repairman to come 9/15/14. Today I called to check why the repairman did not come. I was told that they would not pay since the warranty has expired, but would sell me a extended warranty for 95.00 dollars that would pay for parts only. The refrig broke while it was covered, it was reported before it expired, how can they not honor the warranty? Now they say they have no record of it being registered. The first lady I spoke to one Sept 8th found it, why cant they find it now? Frigidaire warranties are worthless. I will not have another product of theirs in my home!

My issue isnt as dramatic as some Ive read, but nonetheless I am furious. I have a 5-year-old Frigidaire refrigerator and last night, I was going to clean under the crisper drawers. When I started taking it apart, I noticed the plastic frame was badly cracked. I called Frigidaire because that piece has no weight on it other than bread and other lightweight items, and should never break let alone in 5 years. They refused to do anything about it, and the discounted price they offered me was considerably more than online resellers of this part. I told them that was a ridiculous price since they are the manufacturer. Even worse, customer service said that they werent willing to replace it at no charge. They didnt seem to care. I will never buy another Frigidaire product if this is what they call customer service.

The 24-inch gas wall ovens are not displayed in stores. So, I made my purchase online from Airport Home Appliances. The difference in the appearance of the oven online and in person was as different as night and day. The oven sits too far off the cabinet. Which did not show online. There’s no frame around the oven, so it looks unfinished. The interior of the oven sides, door and gauges were not even. The bottom drawer was uneven, flimsy, and the parts inside were bent and didnt close completely. Airport Home Appliance agreed regarding the defective/damaged oven and ordered a replacement. Unfortunately, the 2nd oven had the same issues. They did remove the oven from my home. I paid $1699.00 for this oven, not including taxes and installation. We needed a fully functional, energy efficient refrigerator for a tight spot in our small house, which we bought 15 years ago. We did not want bells and whistles like an ice machine, although this fridge does have the capacity for one, door water dispenser, alarms etc. These items are just more to break, need cleaning and cause problems. We bought the 14 Frigidaire and it has been wonderful. Interior is roomy for the size, electricity use is quite reasonable. It is easy to clean and the gasket has held up well. The small size means that we need to use up leftovers, don't have food waste, and keep it neat. The price was right. Should we need to replace it, we will look at the same brand.

I bought a Frigidaire front load washer, and have had problems right from the start, so we had gotten a extended warranty through Frigidaire, and have had problem after problem (serviced at least 7 times in 3 1/2 years), and told from a Manager at customer service Jennifer that not only will they not replace this lemon of a washer, but are not responsible for the horrible service men they send out to my home, the first one General key Stone tried to lie and say it was something I put in my washer causing the problem to the company, but told me different, and found out from another service man that he just lied cause it was a hard to get to piece he had to replace, and then that service man who came back several times hit a valve and caused my basement to somewhat flood with this rusted water from a old pipe that was not being used, and brand new towels were ruined, along with a throw rug. You also have to wait for the servicemen to come, (and take off from work these days, and pay for wash to be cleaned while waiting), and then wait at least a week or 2 or 3 for the parts, and then another week for the repair Apt. This company is of no help. Do not buy anything from Frigidaire including any service contract. Youre better off just buying a new machine from a good company like Whirlpool. In January/February of 2016 I bought a brand new unit from this despicable company Frigidaire. Keep in mind when I buy a refrigerator I intend for it to last at least 4 to 5 years before it starts to give problems unless there is a natural disaster. Earthquake, storm, etc... in less than 9 moths the fridge light doesnt work. I went to numerous stores to get a light bulb thinking that the light bulb in the fridge blew out. Home Depot, Lowe’s, Orchard, etc… 7 different light bulbs were purchased and tested on the fridge yet none of them worked, I went as far as going back to Lowe’s and getting the light bulb that was used in the model on the floor and tested it, that didnt work either. Later that day I called Frigidaire customer support and got the most rudest, ignorant, discussing person on the phone. While shes babbling on and on about how it is my fault and how the company she works for is sooooo great Im trying to tell her that theres no way in hell that I could have done anything to the fridge if the unit is working and cooling things. I explain to her that is a self defrost fridge and that there are only 2 people in the household. I hung up refusing to get yelled at by someone who won’t listen to anything I have to say. Around 15 min after I had hung up I went to the fridge (with my flashlight) to get some lemonade. As soon as the grub on my right pinky finger touched the fridge door handle it detached from the fridge. I sat there next to the door handle thinking to myself well this is complete madness. The light bulb doesnt work and the fridge handle is not latched correctly. This company really needs to start manufacturing decent unit. Mark my words, NEVER WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THE CRAP FRIGIDAIRE SUPPLIES TO YOU... PS. waiting for my 3rd repair guy to show up on Friday. Let’s see how that goes.

I made a purchase for an Affinity washing machine from Best Buy in Columbus
I made a purchase for an Affinity washing machine from Best Buy in Columbus Georgia on 1/29/2010. September of last year, after only 9 months of use of my washer, it broke, and had to be repaired. I was told at that time, that the piece required to fix my washer was very costly, and that my washer would have to be taken apart and reassembled. That part that needed to be replaced, I believe was something called, a drain pump. Because my washer broke within a year of purchase, it was, at this time, covered by warranty. October 14th of this year, 2011, my washer began to have the same problem it did the year prior. I called you all, and was told that the piece required to fix this problem, yet again, was very costly but that you all would cover the cost of the piece, and not the service fee, and repair fee, because I was no longer under warranty. This meant that I would be responsible for paying up to $270 to repairing it and $70 charge just to come out and assess the problem. Unfortunately, having a family of five that includes a service member and infant, I could not afford to pay over half the cost of what I paid for my washer, simply to have someone come out and fix the same issue, that I had a year earlier, less than 9 months after the date of purchase. I had to make a decision to either spend nearly $300, and risk having the same issue again, or purchase a new washer that I could rely on. I went with option number two, and spent money that we didnt have on a new more reliable washer. I am a very displeased customer, and have been greatly inconvenienced. I hope that you all can provide me with some type of solution so that I may continue to be a loyal Frigidaire customer. The only response i received was, we apologize that you had that issue with your appliance. Unfortunately, the parts concession to assist with the parts to repair the appliance, was the only way we could have assisted you with your appliance. We are unable to assist you any further.

Remodeled my kitchen less than 3 years ago purchasing all new appliances, range, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave oven, all purchased, delivered and installed on the same day. About 3 months ago I started having trouble with dishwasher whereas all lights on panel lit up and would not go off. Followed instructions to reset same result an error code stating that the control board was bad, mind you weve only used this dishwasher roughly 12 times since purchase or 4 times a year during holidays. I have posted complaints and placed phone calls with zero response. The holidays are here and I am unable to use my dishwasher which just makes it an unusable brick in my kitchen. Additionally my refrigerator is not working properly either. It wont hold temperature, the filter leaks and seems to ice up everything. Ive reset a number of times after which is the only time it works properly for a few days then back to chaos freezing everything on both sides. Im really hoping planned obsolescence lasts longer than 2.5 years. In the meantime, I dont feel that I should be needing a new dishwasher after only 12 uses of that. Ive also heard there may be a recall on my machine, but I dont know, because no one responds! Can someone please get back to us?

Bought all new Frigidaire appliances for new house in Coeur dAlene, Idaho. Right away the refrigerator broke, making the freezer side super cold and the refrigerator side hot. Model number is FGHC2345LF. Freds Appliance (supplier we bought from) fixed it. This is a vacation home, so we are not there very much. Next time we came out, the same problem. Freds fixed it again (allegedly). This happened 3 more times, for a total of 5 repairs for the same thing, under warranty. They claim they replaced mechanical parts, electrical wiring, circuit boards, etc.Of course, as soon as the warranty expired, the same problem reoccurred and both Frigidaire and Freds Appliance told us to start paying if we wanted it fixed. Paid $583 to repair it. A year later, its broken again. Now they are saying its my fault because we dont use it enough! Seriously! They say it has electrolysis because Im not there with it. We leave the house at 55 degrees in the winter when were not there, and never over 80 in the summer. These are not extreme operating temperatures. Why doesnt the state attorney generals step in? I am going to request assistance from the Idaho BBB and State Attorney General.

It first started with the stove. After three months of using it, the cooktop began to pit. It appeared to be chipping. Never once did I cut on it. A couple of times, I did boil over macaroni. The cooktop was replaced but I did have to pay for the service guy to come and replace it. Then, one of the computer boards in the water/ice dispenser burned up. It began to smoke and stink. I again had to call for service, which I had to pay a service call for and a labor charge. When the new board was put in, it was a bad board and it burned the second board. This adventure was around $400.00 by the time I was through, for something that was under warranty. Now, my microwave isnt heating and the magnetron is under warranty for ten years. However, by the time I finish paying a diagnostic fee and a labor charge, I really paid for the part! I will never buy Frigidaire products again!

I purchased a Frigidaire Professional double wall oven (model FPET3085KFA, serial number NF93005455) in August 2009. Over the next 4 years I have had to have it fixed 3 times for a total cost of $941. The following parts went bad: 1) Top blower (part 318073028) and thermal fuse (part 318004902); 2) Burned up heating element plug and relay circuit board (part 316443911); 3) top oven bottom heating element (part 318604604). This oven gets normal residential use only, approximately 1 hr of use per day.

I bought a refrigerator from Lowes about 4 yrs ago and havent slept since. The thing is so loud and vibrates so bad that I cant hear the television thats in the other room. I wake up all night just wanting to push the junk box out the door. I called about the noise issue when I first got it and they told me it was that was normal. As soon as I can afford it this piece of junk is going in the dumpster and Im buying a new LG brand. And NOT from Lowes.

I purchased an over the stove microwave 2.5 years ago for under $350. It has worked well but the glass turntable was broken on our granite counter top. The cost for a replacement it $140! I have found that Frigidaire not only offers very poor quality products but poorly designed ones also. I will never again purchase anything from Frigidaire or Electrolux.

Purchased the group of appliances. Dishwasher, stove, refrigerator and microwave. Junk appliances. Dishwasher stinks and does not barely clean or get warm. Refrigerator top freezer does not shut securely. I have replaced the gasket and that is more junk from Frigidaire. Stove, the oven does not work. Destroyed foil (Reynolds) then oven cleaner does not clean up only leaves more of a mess in bottom. I am soooo disappointed with these appliances. Im stuck with them now as too much time has passed. I just dont want others to be fooled by the appearance of the Gallery Group. They are junk. I would never buy Frigidaire item again.

My new appliance is less than two years old with very little use. As it is only my husband and I in the household, the dishwasher was used very little. I used it frequently in the last two weeks because of houseguests and it stopped working! Researched online and saw numerous complaints about the same issue, which seems to be a design fault. Although the representative was nice, she offered no help unless I bought a extended warranty. I paid $3000 for all new, all Frigidaire appliances. I do not want an additional service agreement. I want a company that stands behind their product, which obviously Frigidaire does not do. I will not pay over $100 for a new part and no telling what for a repair call. I will purchase a new appliance and it will not be Frigidaire. My son is going to purchase new appliances on Black Friday for a kitchen remodel. You can bet it will not be Frigidaire!!

2015 we bought all new Frigidaire appliances. Very disappointed. Refrigerator back Iced up and rusted out. Frigidaires fix was to put a 1 and 1/4 thick foam on the back of the frig. Now the fridge sticks out even further from the wall, I wouldnt be able to see if it were iced over with the foam on the back, and the ice machine hasnt worked the same since the repair. Our double oven burns food on the edges. Frigidaire put one of the largest burners towards the back so that the heat from the burner melts the face of the control board. Had it replaced once already and it is melted again. Our Dishwasher wont work on all the setting. If we select Power wash, we end up with water all over the floor. We get constant power failures also. If I could give a zero rating I would. Im surprised this company hasnt been sued. Last I spoke to Frigidaire, I was told that they could help me find a service provider and that once I pot them to fix the issue, they could then offer me an extended warranty. Seriously???

I purchased this refrigerator new about a year and a half ago. Within the first month, the entire refrigerator had to be replaced. Since then, both the upper and lower ice makers have been replaced and worked on multiple times. The refrigerator is now out of warranty. Since the warranty ran out, the ice maker has had to be worked on twice. I have now had to purchase an extended warranty to pay for parts and labor that should be covered under warranty since the problems began right after the purchase. I should NOT have had all these problems within this short time frame since purchase. I have called Frigidaire about 8 times in 4 days, and I still have not had a repairman to my house to fix the problem. To me, this is unacceptable. I am very disappointed, and I will never purchase a Frigidaire product again. Dealing with customer service has been a waste of everyones time!

I bought my washer and dryer 2 years ago. I have always been a fan of Frigidaire. As matter of fact I have a stove and fridge that are Frigidaire are working fine. However our dryer heating element burned and not working no more. Called Frigidaire. They could not help us. Asks us to call a technician. Now the service to repair will be costing us close to 400$. Its a total joke. Now we bought these 2 years ago close to 2500$ and now I have to put 400$ for repair. I have a newborn of 3 weeks and we have lots of laundry to do and stuck debating about what to do. Its sad but Frigidaire lost a loyal client. I was a big believer but no longer. Never ever that I am purchasing Frigidaire anymore and my friends and family will hear from this. Poor customer service and products.

When we bought our home back in March 2016, we replaced the kitchen appliances with smudge resistant stainless steel Frigidaire ones. We quickly realized that THE HANDLES are not smudge resistant. Annoying. We also noticed that the drawers were so tight and stiff we could barely open and shut them. The company sent us a food grade silicone spray to treat the rails. THEN, 2 months after we got the appliances the motherboard on our dishwasher crapped out. We had to wait 2 weeks for the part to come in. Shortly after, the motor in the ice maker went.Again, replacement needed. Recently, it started being fussy again, requiring the ice to constantly need to be cleared from the blade in the front or it hangs up and won’t spin. And now, AGAIN, the motherboard went on our dishwasher. And we are expecting family from out of town in a week for our daughter’s wedding. At first, Frigidaire offered to pay for the part, but wanted us to pay for the labor, because it was out of warranty, and we didn’t purchase an extended one.So I asked them, How is it, that we spend $580 on a new dishwasher, and we are told we need to spend an extra $100 to $200 in order for the company to stand by their product? I told the Frigidaire representative that I felt like the extended warranty was extortion. I asked her how she would feel, if she spent that kind of money on an appliance and it lasted less than two years? I said that our last home had a cheap KitchenAid builder’s grade dishwasher, and we never had an issue with it in 10 years. She checked with the manager, and then she told me that they would do the repair for free as a one time courtesy. But that I should purchase the extended warranty??? I said no, because if it needs repairs again, I’m getting rid of it.
