I bought all Frigidaire Gallery appliances for my kitchen. Since then my refrigerator has broken at least 4. 1st was ice maker $150 then the whole motherboard $350. Now its the water inlet valve $150 and of course all this happens after the 1st year when the warranty expires. So the way I see it I paid for a new fridge in repair. Also bottom freezer door doesnt close right and is chipping away. Stay away from the P.O.S company. I contacted them to see about recalls and such all the recalls are for the model before it. This model has the same problems but no recalls. That is the biggest scheme. Stay away from this junk box.

After spending over $5ooo. for 2 refrigerators, I cant understand for the life of me why Frigidaire will not take back our refrigerator and issue refund. We are constantly having issues with the french door ice maker. This is our second time purchasing due to the same issue. I plan to take further actions to inquire about customer satisfaction.

My electric range is less than two years old. After doing a self clean the oven stops working. The repair costs me a whopping $352.15 to replace the control panel (EOC and overlay). The service technician admits that on these models the relays start arcing and routinely burn out after a self clean cycle. If that happened with a car it would be recalled but we appliance buyers have to endure this kind of nonsense!? No fair! And this model is recommended by Consumer Reports? Oh puhleese!

We bought this refrigerator and the noise of the unit is very loud. The unit works perfectly but because of its design the unit produces more noise from its compressor than any refrigerator Ive ever heard. If I knew this I would have opted for a different refrigerator. The so-called stainless steel is not stainless steel and if at any time the protective finish is compromised on inside or outside it will rust. Its not right that you can say stainless steel and the metal is not stainless steel. To prove this point you should not be able to have strong magnetic properties with stainless steel because of the lack of iron in the material and yet the so-called stainless steel does work as well as plain steel which will rust. I hope this helps other unsuspecting consumers when they meet with fraudulent marketing tactics that we all must deal with more than ever today.

Purchased home in June 2017 with new Frigidaire appliances included in purchase. Started off with the electric stove which the burners did not work, was told by the warranty center that they would be out in week or more. Ended up calling out an electrician to fix the problem and paid him $90 so we could eat. Thank heavens we did not wait. Our next problem was last night we went to bed and awoke to have our refrigerator door open and our food defrosting. Proceeded to call the warranty center and got really no satisfaction. Was told to call the repair company. Was told by them, So sorry. Charlie maybe out on Tuesday of next week. Thank you so much Frigidaire.

We bought our appliances 4 yrs ago. Dishwasher doesnt clean good and started leaking after 3 weeks. REFRIGERATOR has been garbage from the get go. We paid 2500 for a refrigerator that only had a yr warranty. So far we have spent another 1000 on it because its junk! I will never purchase Frigidaire products again. I have a GE refrigerator that we have had for 20 yrs and it works better than the new one. Needless to say I will seek out old appliances before I ever buy a new one again. They made them cheap, sell them for thousands and rip off the consumer. Nothing like big business!!

I purchased the gas range 2 years ago. Within a month something had dripped down on the glass of the door and when I attempted to clean it, realized I was unable to because it was between the two layers of glass! Most ridiculous design. Id noticed that the back panel gets very hot when the oven or broiler is used. Tonight Im unable to turn off the broiler. Ive just been reading some of the other comments made by customers and realize it will almost be cheaper at this point to buy a new stove by another brand than to buy another piece of garbage like this item has turned out to be. The knob design is ridiculous as well. Leaky and different than any stove Ive had in the past. Think Im turning it off and its not off but LOW. Item looks good but shoddy made.Refrigerator is the same. This item looks good but dents so easily because the metal is so flimsy. My shelves are made of plastic and glass and the plastic has become brittle with the cold and many are developing cracks. I would sadly NEVER, EVER recommend this brand to a friend again. Im very disappointed and my family has always been a Frigidaire supporter.

Purchased Frigidaire all BLACK refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave. Touching the appliances causes scratches with just finger touches or trying to remove any minimum food smears leaves marks that cannot be removed. Tried using soap and water then rinsing and lightly drying with ONLY clean microfiber. This was the suggestion by Frigidaires rep. Why does a company make something used daily that will not withstand any kind of expected use, i.e. opening the doors, pressing the temperature pads, wiping off food, etc? Do not buy black. You will waste your money, be unhappy, with no solution... like us.

I purchased the microwave in November 2017. The door was opening with a bit of difficulty but I thought it was normal. Later on, I had to try 3-4 times to open it once. On Feb. 12th I called and they send a repair service company. The repair man wrote down 2 possible reasons: the door per se was damaged or it looked like the bottom door bracket was bent. He said that hell order a new door. If the issue will continue after that, Frigidaire will have to replace the microwave since the bracket cant be replaced.I waited 6 weeks for the door for it was on the backorder. Finally, the repair company received the door but it was broken... I waited another week, until they got another one (from the batch that was now in the Frigidaires stock). He installed the door but the issue persisted. So he said hed call them the next day and ask for the microwave to be replaced. He (and unfortunately I) did not think to try the microwave after installing the door. After he left I called his company because the microwave did not run at all, even with a hard-to-open door. He arrived after a few days and found something else was wrong (besides the door), namely a door switch. He ordered it from Frigidaire and left. After another week he arrived with the switch and installed it. But the microwave still would not work. He decided it was the thermostat. (THIS IS NOT A JOKE) and ordered it. Meanwhile we got to June and I went on vacation. He got the thermostat and came over to install it on August 1st. But the microwave would not work at all. (STILL, NO JOKE). He went to his car to look for some loose pieces. He was hesitant to call the company to order something else (and WHAT? because he had no idea what it was.) I advised him to call a colleague and ask for his/her opinion. Eventually he left saying that he will call Frigidaire the next day. Two days later he arrived with a piece that he said he had gotten from another colleague, familiar with Frigidaire products. He installed it and the microwave started running, still with the initial bottom door bracket bent and the door closing and opening with difficulty. I reminded him that he would have to call Frigidaire and say that the initial issue couldnt be fixed. BUT... SURPRISE: he said that I should be happy that the microwave works now. He said that Frigidaire never replaces appliances and it is practically a lost cause. It was clear to me that he was not at ease, since the whole story would prove that he wasnt a stellar repair man either.I couldnt believe my ears. So I understand that I have two incompetent parties here: one supplying bad products, the other supplying bad service. And I am in between, unhappy and angry as hell. I called the Dial Appliance myself and asked the manager to call since the repair man, Ishmail wont do it. The manager, Eugene, mocked me for even thinking of a replacement. Why dont you try it yourself? And good luck with it, he said. I called Frigidaire and there is not live person answering at all. They have a message, the same message that I heard several times along 2-3 months: In an effort to better serve poi, our agents are currently participating in a company collaboration & training session. We apologize for this inconvenience. One might say that after so much training theyd get better at what they are doing...

On February of 2019 I bought a refrigerator from Sears. 9 months later it went bad. Less than a year in with barely to no use since I am mostly away for work. I had to wait 8 weeks to get a credit to purchase another which I surely saved myself the grievance and did not. Instead I have purchased a freezer which I will sale before it goes bad. I should have listen to my neighbor who said she couldnt trust this brand anymore. To use the factory warranty prepare for a huge disappointment and tons of hot potato phone calls. It seems to be the only brand that chapter 11 Sears seem to have on the floor and I can see why. Save yourselves the headache, get a South Korean product instead and live a happy life.

My wife and I purchased new appliances for a kitchen redo. We bought a top-of-the-line stainless Frigidaire dishwasher. 18 months after installation, a control board burned out, a $280 repair charge. I contacted Frigidaire Customer Service and received what looked like a form letter telling me Frigidaire offers very comprehensive warranties with each product to guard against parts that may be defective at the time of manufacture. Needless to say, since it was older than 12 months, there was nothing they were willing to do for me. I understand that things sometimes happen, but what matters to me is what customer service is willing to do to make a situation like this right. My advice to potential buyers would be to stay clear of any Frigidaire products.

In late November 2015, we remodeled our kitchen and purchased a complete suite of Frigidaire Gallery appliances. We couldnt install the dishwasher until the granite countertops had been fitted so the dishwasher went in last, a few days before Christmas. As soon as it had been plumbed in (at a cost of $120 by our Lowes kitchen fitter), a 15 minutes rinse cycle lasted three hours. I switched it off and reset the machine. Another 25 minutes cycle last four and a half hours. I called Frigidaire and they said that they couldnt get anyone out until January 2016! I called HHGregg who said that its not their normal policy but they would order us a new one, but we had to pay for it over the phone, return the old one to the store (a 64 mile round trip), and then we would get a refund on the original one. So 64 miles later, we had another dishwasher, which my husband had to install, since the kitchen fitter wouldnt come back without another charge. In February, I noticed that the side-by-side refrigerator was dropping temperature on the fridge side. It went from 38F to 14F, up and down wildly, then it would settle back at 38F, then the freezer would start to defrost. In the middle of this, we lost endless amounts of food as it completely froze in the refrigerator and defrosted food in the freezer. Customer service at Frigidaire was dreadful and they would not even guarantee that someone would call you to make an appointment for a further two business days. By this time the fridge went back to its normal temperature. I eventually got them to give me the local Frigidaire repair man and I dealt with him directly. Over period of a month or so, every time he was scheduled to come the fridge worked correctly, then froze everything in sight. Finally, we got it fixed. The damper hadnt been installed correctly and we were a filter missing. Were now holding our breath waiting for the stove or microwave to break down. I will never buy Frigidaire appliances nor will I recommend them.

Model # - FRsss2323AS0 or O Serial # -4A14107574. Order number for missing parts: ** waiting on shipment since Feb 25, 2022. Where is the tracking number. My mother has been waiting on missing parts for her new fridge since January 2022. I have called a few times just to simply get the tracking number for the order shipped out I was told on February 25, 2022. They have all the details on file from the specs as to which parts are missing (deli tray 3,4,5 which is specs 48,49) and (Crisper tray 49) as well as a fridge logo. This was covered by Mykia, she told me that the order was held but never go back to me as to why it was held. I spoke with Ann who told in early Feb. She told me by Feb 25 2022 the missing parts will be shipped. I spoke to Sirena told March 14 she hung up on me and but told me she would place me on hold to go retrieve the tracking number, enter hang up a dial tone. Someone either did not do the reorder for the missing parts or the shipped is still not out yet. Either way when a customer calls if the CS rep does not know the answer as to why the order hasnt been shipped or cant even provide the tracker number for the missing parts, this only means people are slipping on the cs service skills. From January until March 14 2022 my mother is still waiting on missing parts. WHY? Can I get a order tracking number without cs reps hanging up or just the honesty of what is really going on here. Tomorrow I will call back and just request to speak with a supervisor or manager because these are simple questions that only require simple answers. WHERE IS THE TRACKING NUMBER FOR THE MISSING PARTS???

Now 2 years later, the same thing has happened to our dishwasher.I contacted customer service and was told in so many words that this is a normal occurrence. And when she found out we had not purchased the extended warranty, they basically said get lost. After a heated discussion, she has offered to send a replacement for the dishwasher. After calling their service people, we discovered the labor to repair it will be almost half the cost we paid for it. They manufacture subpar appliances. I have had this appliance for nearly a year, Dec. 30, 2015. Due to illness have not got around to voicing my complaints. This unit was highly praised by the sales man at Coast Appliances, Langley. As there are only the 2 of us to wash for I believed this unit would be ideal for space & efficiency. We cleaned & replaced any of the dryer venting before installation. I think I have given the unit a fair run & can say I am totally dissatisfied with its performance. The dryer will only dry a load on high heavy duty & then it must be full. I cannot dry a smaller load on any setting. Sometimes a small load will take 2 hours to dry. The washer tears clothing, I use tide pods & cleaner as recommended & find that wet clothes often come out with lint stuck to them even a load of delicates that do not contain lint, so I have to sponge lint of many items before I dry them. I also clean the washer & dryer after each load as recommended in the user manual. I am totally disenchanted with this unit that was to be my last washer dryer after 50 plus years of doing laundry. I would not recommend this brand to my friends. Thank you for your attention to, my concerns.

First let me say that Frigidaire replaced my top mount refrigerator Freezer because it was a lemon. To sweeten the deal they sent me 2 new water filters. Water Filters last 6 months. Time has passed and it is time to change the water filter (6 months). I open the package to find the filters they sent me are the wrong ones. I call to explain that they sent the wrong filters. They explain that there is only a 90 day return policy. Why would I open an item before I needed it? Needless to say these babies are going up on eBay and I will purchase OEM filters. This is a policy they did not think out.

We contacted Frigidaire and their response was that there wasnt much they could do since the fridge was 10 months outside of the 1 year warranty. Even after we had one of their techs come out AND verify the part that burned/melted, they continued to say it was outside the 1 year warranty. They offered to replace the part that burned if we signed something saying they were not liable for anything.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANYS BRANDS! I have a Frigidaire french door refrigerator that I bought new four years ago. I did not purchase the extended warranty and during the first year, I had at least two service calls for the unit not cooling. After the warranty period, the freezer would frost over and actually had ice build up inside the drawer that required I do a manual defrost.I came home from a trip and the temp in the refrigerator was at 67 degrees but the freezer was still working. The appliance repair tech that came to evaluate the unit said that both computers on the unit were not functioning and the repair was going to be ~ $500. He ordered the computers and when he came back, he pulled out the unit to check the freon and the back of the refrigerator was rusted. Its a known issue with Frigidaire and he called them to explain the issue so I filed a ticket to see what they would do for me. The options were that they would possibly replace it or pay a reasonable amount to me based on depreciation. I was told by the rep at the call center that the refrigerator was under a do not repair order so it should be repaired. After 10 days of waiting for the company to evaluate the unit, their final offer was a 25% rebate on another model. Ive been out several hundred dollars and am going to be out another $500 for computers on a unit that they know is defective or $1300 to replace the refrigerator. Im just going to bite the bullet and repair the thing vs. buying another piece of crap Frigidaire and be out approximately $1300 with the rebate that they offered. Really not good customer service that you admit the unit is defective and issue a do not repair order but dont back up your appliances. The builder put Frigidaire in my home, Stove, Microwave, Dishwasher but I guarantee you that as they fail, it wont be Frigidaire or any GE brand that will replace them. SHAME on YOU.

Frigidaire is not standing behind their product. The control panel on our 6 year Frigidaire Professional Series double oven wall started blinking. We already replaced the control panel in 2013. We were incredulous. We called Frigidaire and were told, The blinking lights signified the control panel appeared to be broken. They advised us to have a certified repair man visit to be sure it was the control panel. We did ($80). It was; so we called them back and ordered it. They took our order. 18 days later we called. They said they did not have the part and had refunded our money. They never notified us.Today Frigidaire told me they discontinued the stove and have no parts available. I searched online and called local stores. No parts available for a 6 year old stove. They did not tell us this when they advised us to get the repair person. We expect a stove to last much more than 6 years and are very upset the control panel would malfunction twice in 6 years!!! They offered us nothing. Today was the 2nd time my microwave has been repaired since purchasing it in 2008. We also purchased a dishwasher and a smooth top slide in range. The door on the range has a stain in between the glass and cant get it out. The warming drawer door will not close properly unless you pick it up and then push. The dishwasher has leaked water and moisture is coming from the top and ruining my counter. The digital board went out on it also. My microwave has been the worst as this is the second repair and it’s still not fixed and will not be fixed until after Thanksgiving! These appliances are all the Frigidaire professional series bought from HHGregg. I will never buy another Frigidaire product nor anything manufactured by Electrolux. Unsatisfactory appliances not worth the money you pay for them. Warning: If you purchase them, get ready for problems. Ive had repairmen tell me that Frigidaire products are full of service repairs! To this day since November 1, 2011, I still dont have a microwave. It took me 4-1/2 hours just to get hold of someone in the service dept at HHGregg. All of these things are just unacceptable. My issue isnt as dramatic as some Ive read, but nonetheless I am furious. I have a 5-year-old Frigidaire refrigerator and last night, I was going to clean under the crisper drawers. When I started taking it apart, I noticed the plastic frame was badly cracked. I called Frigidaire because that piece has no weight on it other than bread and other lightweight items, and should never break let alone in 5 years. They refused to do anything about it, and the discounted price they offered me was considerably more than online resellers of this part. I told them that was a ridiculous price since they are the manufacturer. Even worse, customer service said that they werent willing to replace it at no charge. They didnt seem to care. I will never buy another Frigidaire product if this is what they call customer service.

I have Frigidaire microwave, refrigerator, stove and dishwasher that came with a new home in 2014. The dishwasher was the first to stop working due to the touchpad. The dishwasher touch pads cost $130. I had to replace it twice... Then on the third time I called it quits and bought GE dishwasher. Now my stoves touchpad is shorting out and comes on automatically. Thats another $130-200 to fix. Im not wasting my time anymore with Frigidaire. They dont stand by their products and continue to sell their faulty machinery. Dont buy from them!

Purchased the Gallery series in 2012. Frigidaire replaced the refrigerator due to multiple issues with the ice maker. The replaced refrigerator now has issues with the ice maker. Called a repair service and they found that the refrigerator is rusting from the inside out showing me a big rust spot that is leaking on the back of my refrigerator. Obviously have a bigger issue than the ice maker. Repairman tried working with a Frigidaire technician sending pictures 2 times with no luck. I called customer service, they wont let me talk to the technician. Told me to call an approved Frigidaire repair service giving me contact info. One place wont return my calls and the other place wont come because they dont want to get involved because it is out of warranty. I dont think it is normal for your refrigerator to rust from the inside out. Seems like a $2,000 refrigerator (replaced in 2013) should last more than 5 years and it wouldnt be normal to rust from the inside out! What poor customer service. I am out of leads to pursue. Not to mention the microwave burned out and we need to replace the Frigidaire microwave too.

We renovated a 1971 kitchen only 2 years ago and purchased the Frigidaire professional series: oven, fridge and dishwasher for a total of $5,000 through Sears. The side by side fridge doors never have closed properly from day one. When you close one side, the other side pops open and remains ajar. For the last year, weve had problems with the panel on the stove. The element buttons work occasionally and weve had to trip the breaker because weve had so much trouble with the cancel button not working. I, too, thought Frigidaire was an established brand name and would have quality products. We live in a remote northern Canadian town where repair services are not available. I would never purchase Frigidaire again and certainly after reading the other posts, I am on my way to check the bulb in my fridge.

Bought the entire line of these products - double oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher. From the start the ice maker never made ice. Weve had 4 techs out to fix it. Last issue was the entire control board needed to be replaced. The dishwasher pump has been replaced. Currently the microwave doesnt heat and the top of the double oven wont heat. Called Frigidaire and the offered to sell us a 2-year warranty for $498. Wow, way to back your products. 4 appliances and every one of them is total garbage and NOBODY at Frigidaire cares. I will never buy a Frigidaire product again. And to think, this is their PROFESSIONAL line!

This dryer was never the best, but just before the year warranty was up. We got the error code “E 64 Call Service” (the element). I had emailed and tried to call Frigidaire with no response at all. I therefore replaced the element at my cost of $200. About 1 1/2 years later it happened again, ok replaced it again. And 2 more times 1 year between each time it happens. Then last October it happens again and this time I email Frigidaire again and this time they respond and say, Sorry, you are out of warranty and we cannot help you. Not happy I replace yet another element at my cost. Well this one only lasted 3 months. With ZERO support from Frigidaire we are buying another Dryer and will NEVER buy another Frigidaire product ever again.

It appears (according to service repair man) Frigidaire ss side by side PHSC239DSBO has a wiring harness issue. It falls into the drip pan shorting it out which could cost $300 for a circuit board if that would correct the problem. He states Frigidaire knows of the problem but refused to do a recall. My neighbor and husband rewired the harness and strapped it up so that it will not fall into the drip pan again. Presto, I have power to freezer side. I called Frigidaire for help and they referred me to the service man who in turn stated the repair was out of his league. So, I called back Frigidaire to get someone else. I have yet to hear from them again. In the meantime, we fixed it ourselves. If Frigidaire had only strapped the wiring harness up to begin with, I would not have a problem. It is possible that the harness could have blown my compressor. Luckily, this was not the case. Just a piece of plastic did the job.

First issue at 3 mths- screws were not tightened from the factory inside the dryer properly which came loose and fell inside the unit causing the heating element to seize. (Took 3 weeks to repair this issue). Second issue- 3 mths later- Belt for the dryer broke, washer not spinning or draining. Belt was replaced, but technician replaced a motor control sensor on washer which did not fix the problem. Frigidaire will not yet replace our unit and is ordering 5 MORE PARTS to fix the washer!!I have asked multiple times if we can have a replacement unit since the machine is intrinsically faulty! And I am told that there will be no placement of our unit until the TECH dept deems it unrepairable, which the technician that worked on the unit is saying that he feels its unrepairable. This has taken 6 weeks now and Im still without a washer! Not to mention the trips to the laundromat, the time off of work I have taken to be home for the repairman. This has been an absolute nightmare. I cannot believe that a company would not stand behind their product and treat a customer this way. I will NEVER buy Frigidaire products again!

Bought a new French door Refrigerator and have had constant problems with the ice maker. The refrigerator was replaced by Frigidaire and now to find out the replacement was 2 years old and has the same ice maker problem. They call out repair companies that have extremely rude employees and problem cannot get resolved. Never can get the same customer service representative on the phone so have to repeat the same issue over and over.I am considering putting the refrigerator on the front lawn with a big sign on it. This will be the best advertisement. Frigidaire tells me they have a bulletin on the ice maker being bad but can never seem to find a way to correct it. All I want is my ice maker repaired so I do not have to keep buying ice and explaining why to guests. I do not feel with a refrigerator only 3 years old I should be having to write this complaint. If Frigidaire knows they have a problem with these ice makers they should just step up to the plate and make it good.

I have a warranty on my washer and dryer (purchased new 3 years ago). The washing machine recently stopped working so I called Frigidaire to utilize my warranty coverage. They dispensed a company called ABCO to my home on 7-9-16. The technician was nice and advised he would be getting the part within 3 days (M-W). I never heard back from them. I left a total of 4 messages with the last one last night (7-19-16). The receptionist or maybe temporary worker was extremely rude, very unprofessional, and had the vocabulary of an uneducated child. She argued she did not receive any messages. Perhaps she did not hit play on the answering machine (yes, answering machine). After arguing, I called Frigidaire to advise their sub was useless and I wanted them nowhere near my home. I now have a new company coming 7-25 and I hope they can do what ABCO could not.

I sure wished I wouldve known about this website before we purchased these products. We own all three appliances in the SS Frigidaire Professional Series, fridge, range, and dishwasher. Let me just say, buyer beware. Weve had them approximately 5 -7 yrs. Weve had to replace the heating element in the dishwasher. And recently, something blew after I heated the oven to bake a dish. The breaker blew and nothing on the digital readout panel or the burners or oven would work. I didnt know about the recall on the range until I accessed their website to issue a complaint. I had to have it repaired so I could use it. The cost was $500 plus. I called them and they told me to fax the repair invoice for possible reimbursement consideration. I did (9/27/11) and waited a few weeks to call back to check on the decision. They couldnt give me any info since they said they never received it, even though I had confirmation that it was received. At that time, I requested the replacement parts to repair the exact problem included in the recall. But in the meantime, they said because they didnt receive my initial fax, they gave me a new number. I refaxed the invoice again to another number on 10/25 and waited until today (11/18) to call and check again. Initially, I was told the fax wasnt received again until I insisted it had already been faxed twice and to a new number the second time. Suddenly, it was found and the decision to reimburse was denied justified because it wasnt directly included in the recall. Never mind, they should stand behind their product that blew a breaker at the time it failed. It’s clearly dangerous to have done that. I’m not happy with their decision. I will do better research when purchasing appliances in the future. There is no such thing as a reliable appliance with Frigidaire and they dont stand behind their product.

It first started with the stove. After three months of using it, the cooktop began to pit. It appeared to be chipping. Never once did I cut on it. A couple of times, I did boil over macaroni. The cooktop was replaced but I did have to pay for the service guy to come and replace it. Then, one of the computer boards in the water/ice dispenser burned up. It began to smoke and stink. I again had to call for service, which I had to pay a service call for and a labor charge. When the new board was put in, it was a bad board and it burned the second board. This adventure was around $400.00 by the time I was through, for something that was under warranty. Now, my microwave isnt heating and the magnetron is under warranty for ten years. However, by the time I finish paying a diagnostic fee and a labor charge, I really paid for the part! I will never buy Frigidaire products again!

We have a brand new side-by-side refrigerator, a Frigidaire LFUS2613LEO. Within three weeks, it stopped getting cold in the refrigerator section. Now all our food is spoiling as I write this. This was purchased at Lowes. When we called Lowes, they informed us that there was only a 7-day return policy and that they could not send a repairman for two more days! So here we sit with tons of spoiled food, no fridge for two days and can’t return the piece of junk nor are we compensated for all the lost food. If it breaks down within three weeks, I can only imagine how long it will be before it breaks again. It is obviously a lemon and there is nothing we can do.

Now I have to wait for these to be processed again. Repair company emailing today. Each time I called Frigidaire I had a minimum of 20 minutes wait to talk to a representative. We purchased our Frigidaire glass-top stove in July of 2011 (Model #LGEF3045KFE). Within six months, it started showing symptoms. Whenever we used two burners and the oven at the same time, the entire unit would shut down. After cooling down (and flipping the breaker switches for the stove circuit), the stove would reset and wed be able to use it again (as long as we only used one burner and the oven). This happened a few times the first year; it happened a few more times the second year. I kept thinking I didnt have a large enough circuit breaker for the stove, until it happened again for the last time. The stove would not reset. NONE of the burners, nor the oven, worked. Thats when I went online and found out that there were a lot of people complaining about the same problem. When I contacted Frigidaire, they said it was MY problem since the one-year warranty period had expired, even though my stove had started showing problems DURING the warranty period.Frigidaire has refused to stand by its product (which is TERRIBLE, by the way). As a result, I will NEVER buy anything made by Frigidaire ever again. I am telling all of my friends to stay away from their products because of their shoddy workmanship, lousy customer service, and useless warranty. Appliances should last for 10-20 years before breaking down. Ive been a homeowner for 30 years. I have NEVER had to fix ANY of my appliances - until I bought a Frigidaire. Never again.

My install guys went to install our Frigidaire Microwave and there was no wall back brace plate, no instructions and no screws. There was also no manuals. Back in August 25th, 2006 I purchased 3 Frigidaire products: stainless burner gas cooktop, a double gas wall oven and an over-the-range microwave oven from AjMadison. Out of the 3 two are broken or dont function properly. I had my entire downstairs, which included the kitchen completely, remodeled. In 2007 all the new appliances were installed. I started having problems almost right away with the microwave. The hinges started to get really loose to the point of not being able to use it unless we held the door shut. Then the exhaust fan started coming on at will. We had to literally have to unplug the exhaust fan cord. A repairman came out and we thought he had fixed the problem but shortly after that every time we use the microwave it sounds like its about to exploded. The noise is that loud. Now our gas double oven door hinges broke. We had two repairmen at different times that tried to fix the hinges but it can not be fixed or replaced. The whole oven unit has to be replaced because this stupid oven is a one piece unit. I contacted Frigidaire and they said that there is nothing that they can or will do about it because they are no under warranty anymore and that I should have purchased an extended warranty. How dare them! A person should not have to purchase anything extra not unless they want to not have to so that these cheaply made appliances will be covered for some repairs. This company has known for a very, very long time that most of their appliances have serious problems. I refuse to pay for the items I already paid for once. Im sorry, I wont cut the mustard with me. Im very upset and something needs to be done about this on-going problem; otherwise, more people like us will get taken to the bank. We are retired people. I should be enjoying my retirement rather than trying to figure out how Im supposed to pay to replace these things. My question to all of you who are going through these problems with me is what are we going to do about it? I want to file a class action lawsuit. Are you with me or not?

More often than not there are dry spots. In May 2015 we bought a brand new/just built home in RI. We bought 4 Frigidaire appliances for the kitchen (Microwave, Stove, Refrigerator, and dishwasher). In May 2016 I PAID Electrolux/Frigidaire to extend my warranty on the refrigerator. In the last week, Ive received multiple emails from Best Buy offering to extend my warranty on ALL this equipment. I called Electrolux/Frigidaire to clarify the status of the refrigerator, AND I dug into my files to find the 2016 agreement. To my shock, I discovered that the agreement I paid for in 2016 listed a completely different refrigerator, that THEIR records claimed Id bought from Lowes in 2014! Ive NEVER bought any appliance at Lowes, and in 2014 I lived in a completely different town and state than they had listed. This was DEMONSTRABLY THEIR DATA-CAPTURE PROBLEM. I wanted them to honor the warranty I PAID FOR and apply it to the correct appliance, the one that is actually standing in my kitchen now... The one I bought in 2015. THEN, I would have re-upped the contract, which was due to run out a month from now. THEY WOULD NOT DO THAT. Their only offer, return to me the pro-rated amount of my premium, which means probably 2 or 3 dollars. Meanwhile, IF my refrigerator had suffered a problem a month ago, or last year, I would NOT have been covered. In closing the data mistake could NOT have been made by me. It is literally impossible that I could have randomly invented model and serial numbers that match a refrigerator that is a different model, bought in a different year, from a different big box store. So, its demonstrably Electrolux/Frigidaire fault. And WHAT are they willing to do to make it right? NOTHING. ZERO. NADA. I shall never again buy: another Electrolux/Frigidaire product, or an extended warranty from ANY company. They are (Ill use the word again) DEMONSTRABLY a RIP-OFF!

I purchased a FRIGIDAIRE GALLERY, which included dishwasher, microwave, stove, oven, washer and dryer, at the end of 2012. The refer was about $2000. The ice maker started leaking. I was told that I am unable to purchase the $2.00 plastic ice tray separately, like LG and Samsung allow you to do. I need to replace the entire ice maker. I AM TOTALLY PISSED. The ice maker is $110.00 and the tray is $2.00. What a piece of crap. I will never purchase another FRIGIDAIRE PRODUCT EVER.

Our front loader washer was purchased in 2008. The door has rusted along the bottom, as well as the hinges. The rubber gasket is covered in mold and the door now leaks. It hasnt shut properly from the time we got it. Also, the door doesnt line up at the bottom.I contacted Frigidaire via email to see what they suggest as far as replacing the door or repairs. They simply replied that they couldnt offer any assistance, and that was it. I let them know that if they couldnt help me I would no longer purchase Frigidaire products, and I got the same response. Im not looking for a free washer here, just some help to get this one fixed and keep it operating.

I am absolutely DISGUSTED with the treatment this company has given me. STAY AWAY FROM FRIGIDAIRE!!!! We got an in wall unit last year. They gave us a faulty unit that did not work straight from the box, and had to be replaced with a new one straight after buying it. Barely over a year later, in July, it stopped working again (was not blowing cold). I called Frigidaire for our warranty. They assigned an AC repair company to us. I called this AC professional to set an appointment. On the phone, keep in mind this guy has not seen our AC, our place, or has any idea what the issue is, and he immediately is saying we probably ** it up somehow and its our fault and there is probably nothing they will be able to do.... DUDE YOU HAVENT EVEN SEEN IT YET?!?!!?!? Super rude, condescending, and childish. He was supposed to come out one day, calls an hour into the absurd 8 hour time frame, and says that there are no other appointments in my area, and they are gonna come tomorrow instead. Really? Just because the drive is not worth it for you, you are gonna say eh ** it? Comes next day, and immediately tells me I am improperly dressed and I need to change because I was in shorts... my shorts covered everything important, and were completely appropriate. And even then, MY ** AC IS BROKEN IN JULY AND IM SWEATING LIKE CRAZY. How dare you judge me in my own home! After 2 minutes, he repeats everything he said on the phone, gives me no detailed explanation as to how we messed it up, tells me his signature line he used on the phone, you need to do your research, and leaves. Called my warranty company. The lady calls him to hear his side of the story, he talked over her, yelled at her, and hung up on her. She told me no matter what I did or didnt do, if the AC is malfunctioning, he was required to fix it because it was covered by our warranty. And she is immediately sent me a new company to work with, and said she will definitely be letting management know. Completely ridiculous. So now they send us a NEW guy. He was friendly, recognized the problem, and took the AC. His estimated time frame was 2 weeks. IT HAS BEEN 3 MONTHS!!!! It is almost halfway into fall at this point!!! Frigidaire has done NOTHING to speed up the process. I have been calling non stop. In OCTOBER they are just now telling me that my issue will not be fixed under warranty because the FIRST AC guy said my AC suffered abuse. I demanded the woman call the AC PEOPLE THAT HAVE MY AC!!!! I explained to the woman on the phone the first AC company is NOT even a legitimate company, and that he currently has multiple lawsuits for improper service on ACs. She checked with MY REAL AC company. They stated there was no such abuse or improper installment as stated. FRIGIDAIRE MAY THINK THEY CAN SCAM ME BUT NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. There is nothing I would want more than to get my money back.

I purchased a Frigidaire upright freezer in July of 2021. By the end of December, the freezer had an indicator light blinking which mean the temperature was dropping inside. I had almost $400 worth of food which was thawing and had to be thrown out. This happened New Years weekend, and I was not able to contact Frigidaire until Tuesday, January 4th, when they reopened from the holidays. They sent a technician immediately out the next day, January 5th, and he noted that 5 different components of the freezer had gone bad and needed to be replaced. He also mentioned that hed had over 20 different calls on the same freezer, which the same issues with the 5 components failing. I called back to Frigidaire on January 5, 2022, and told the representative that five components failing was not a fluke but a defect in the unit. I also noted that this model freezer was discontinued....I wonder why? The representative told me that if they were unable to order the five components within 7 to 10 business days, I could get a refund. No one contacted me and I called back on the 11th business day, which was January 20th. I spoke to both a representative and her supervisor and they told me that I would not receive a refund, but would simply have to wait until they received the backordered parts. I asked her what timeline would be reasonable, and she said she didnt know, I would just have to wait! I demanded a refund, and she refused. She said the only way I would get a refund is if the technician declared the freezer unrepairable, which, clearly they will not do. All the while, I am without a freezer, lost over $400 in food, and the 1 year warranty is ticking away. By the time the unit is repaired, I will then be out of warranty and out of luck not if, but when it breaks down again. All I was offered is $100 in food replacement. I want a refund and want this freezer declared defective.

The $900 refrigerator started giving us problems about 2 months after purchasing (made strange clicking and buzzing sounds and would stop cooling and had to be unplugged and then re-plugged into the outlet a couple of times to get it to start working). Fast forward to the present (5 months after purchasing) and the refrigerator and freezer have stopped working permanently (despite unplugging and re-plugging as originally suggested by Frigidaire customer service). After waiting nearly an hour to speak to a person, I managed to get Frigidaire to arrange for a repairman who told us the compressor was shot and the entire unit would have to be replaced. Learned that Frigidaire and its service partners DO NOT COMMUNICATE after another nearly one hour wait on Frigidaires customer service number (when I finally got a person, I waited another 20 minutes as the rep called the repair service to confirm what Id been told). While the repairman had told me the refrigerator would be replaced, Frigidaire says they will first have to check if parts are available (a compressor and a heater). I am now waiting for Frigidaire Corporate to reach out to me with details on how they plan to honor their standard 12-month manufacturers warranty (I should hear back within 72 hours according to what I was told by the service rep). Weve now been without a refrigerator for over one week without any idea of how long it will take to get this situation resolved. According to other reviews Ive read, it may well take over a month!

Buyers beware! We are thankful we are able to return our refrigerator. So Very grateful to Best Buy! The positives are that It appears to do what it’s suppose to do, we Love the water and ice, and it looks great BUT we purchased this fridge under a month ago and I have never heard a fridge be so loud in my life! It sounds like it’s making popcorn! Then it knocks, it pings and squeals. It’s actually loud enough that it wakes me up more than a couple times during the night. We asked that a repairman come and take a look to see what they could do and they said this is normal for this brand! I’ve never had a refrigerator make noises like this before!

We purchased a home with Frigidaire Professional Series made by Electrolux.
We purchased a home with Frigidaire Professional Series made by Electrolux. I called Frigidaire to register my products, gave them all the model and serial numbers on a dishwasher, micro/oven, dishwasher, fridge and cooktop in the first day of taking possession. The microwave stopped working 3 weeks after taking possession. Called Frigidaire and was advised we had no warranty. This was a repeated request by me and was told the same thing, no warranty. In the meantime our dishwasher of 4 months leaked out onto the hardwood floor, causing damage. I again called Frigidaire and conveyed my observations on performance and poor quality... Stating the microwave hasnt worked since week 3 of taking possession. The oven spikes in heat or doesnt cook in the allowed time in other ovens and that the dishwasher only worked on one setting and leaked 4 months within use. It leaked on a Saturday and Frigidaire does not provide after hours service. On Feb. 2/2015 I called and asked them to reimburse us for the new dishwasher and the cost of repairing our floor. To which they said No. Finally we were asked for our purchase contact on our home and the receipt for the new dishwasher (we did not purchase their product). We were then asked to produce the purchase agreement, a copy of the service call for the dishwasher and the receipt for the newly purchased dishwasher. Customer service then back dated our warranty to April 11/14. They then, wanted the virtual information that was stuck on the dishwasher. Since we had no warranty as we had it recycled, never to be used for another to suffer damages as we did. Because we could not produce the sticker, we offered the warranty card with all the information and the user manual with the same on it. This was not acceptable to them. We forwarded the service report which clearly states the reasons that this serviceman could not and would not in good conscience repair it as it was poor quality could not guarantee it would not leak again. He told us it would cost us more to try to repair it than it actually cost and we should get a new one. We have not been reimbursed the cost of every appliance, which is all of the Frigidaire Professional Series. When I say all, I mean everything in our kitchen has broken down. Since our dealings with this company and their poor quality products, we have been forced to replace it all. Customer service agents are not diligent in executing customer expectations, nor do they respect you enough to make notations such, as your name and address and simple tasks like registrations. The service company they have hired to do the repair to the micro/oven ordered the wrong part and it has now been almost 3 months and we are still waiting. Have any of you ever figured out how much you pay for your appliances when it gets lumped in with your mortgage? I would never recommend this companies products, nor will I buy them and should I purchase another home, Frigidaire/Electrolux are a deal breaker!

Bought all new appliances for our house when we purchased it. All were Frigidaire. The Refrigerator didnt last 6 months. The control board, fan and ice maker went bad. We had it repaired under the extended warranty plan we purchased from Lowes. The repairs lasted a couple weeks and it failed again. This time the whole refrigerator was replaced. The new one was no better. 2 ice makers have failed and now the control board is failing and we have to listen to it beep day in and day out. Reset button and alarm mute both dont work. The fridge and freezer are working properly but the board doesnt. Stay away from Frigidaire. Even our dishwasher and dryer are constantly having issues. It has gotten so bad I removed the dishwasher and threw it away.

I made a purchase for an Affinity washing machine from Best Buy in Columbus
I made a purchase for an Affinity washing machine from Best Buy in Columbus Georgia on 1/29/2010. September of last year, after only 9 months of use of my washer, it broke, and had to be repaired. I was told at that time, that the piece required to fix my washer was very costly, and that my washer would have to be taken apart and reassembled. That part that needed to be replaced, I believe was something called, a drain pump. Because my washer broke within a year of purchase, it was, at this time, covered by warranty. October 14th of this year, 2011, my washer began to have the same problem it did the year prior. I called you all, and was told that the piece required to fix this problem, yet again, was very costly but that you all would cover the cost of the piece, and not the service fee, and repair fee, because I was no longer under warranty. This meant that I would be responsible for paying up to $270 to repairing it and $70 charge just to come out and assess the problem. Unfortunately, having a family of five that includes a service member and infant, I could not afford to pay over half the cost of what I paid for my washer, simply to have someone come out and fix the same issue, that I had a year earlier, less than 9 months after the date of purchase. I had to make a decision to either spend nearly $300, and risk having the same issue again, or purchase a new washer that I could rely on. I went with option number two, and spent money that we didnt have on a new more reliable washer. I am a very displeased customer, and have been greatly inconvenienced. I hope that you all can provide me with some type of solution so that I may continue to be a loyal Frigidaire customer. The only response i received was, we apologize that you had that issue with your appliance. Unfortunately, the parts concession to assist with the parts to repair the appliance, was the only way we could have assisted you with your appliance. We are unable to assist you any further.

Has made my summer very comfortable and relaxing without having to worry about the heat. The air conditioner runs cold and is an extremely great product. Will always stick with this brand. The performance of the air conditioner is extremely well. It has multiple settings to help improve a better experience for those hot summer days. It has a great look to it as well as being easy to use. White in color, multiple settings, easy to see buttons, clear writing as well as big buttons. I haven't had any problems with this product. It has been very reliable, the filter has stayed very clean throughout the summer without having to be cleaned or replaced. It turns on no problems and cools down a room extremely quickly.

We purchased a Frigidaire Gallery French Door Refrigerator six years ago from Howards. It cost us over $2000. In October 2016, it stopped cooling and freezing and we first noticed an SYCF code. We called Frigidaire and were told to order the control board which sits behind the ice maker. The part was ordered on Nov 6 and came after Thanksgiving! I was so mad and when I called Frigidaire, they refunded us for this part because it took over three weeks to get. This control board didnt fix the issue, so we called them back. It was recommended that we call a certified technician on their list. I contacted Riddle after speaking with Frigidaire. Theyre a certified repair service for Frigidaire. I called on Tuesday, Jan 3 in the morning and their technician, Ben, showed up that afternoon. After 15 minutes, he diagnosed the problem is that the switch board with two 5 amp fuses needed to be replaced. He said that he would call the following day to give me a price for the service and labor. For the 20 minutes he was here, it was a $79.00 service charge. I received a call from Ben the following morning at 10:00 a.m. stating that the cost would be $629.20 because he would replace the switch board (that he diagnosed the day before) and the main control board (below the refrigerator). I said THREE times that youre charging me for the main control board based on an assumption you have that it wont work because the switch board doesnt work. I said that isnt right since he didnt diagnose or test the main control board to see if it needed to be replaced. He is basically charging me for a product that may not be broken. The original cost was around $350 and now with this new bogus main control board, it totaled $629.20. AVOID USING RIDDLE who is suppose to be certified repair company for Frigidaire. I called Frigidaire and explained my experience with Riddle and ordered the main control board. The rep I spoke to pulled up the specs for this model and I clearly stated its the control board which sits behind the fridge, at the top left. I confirmed THREE times because he kept calling it something else. He assured me that it was the right item. About 7 business days later, I received the item and guess what? It was wrong.I called and spoke to Juanique, corporate manager on Jan 12, 2017 (remember, our fridge has been broken since October 2016) and she returned the incorrect item and shipped out the right part. She gave me 20% off and free ground shipping because of all my issues. As we waited for the part, we decided to buy a new fridge to avoid all the headache and future issues with this refrigerator. On 2/1/17, I called and requested an RMA number. It took over 10 minutes because the rep (April) could not locate the order. Their system is absolutely ancient and wastes too much time for the consumer. My experience with this location has been NEGATIVE. The customer service reps need more training, attitude adjustments. The two managers I spoke to were very helpful and actually fixed the problems created by their employees. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE GALLERY FRENCH DOOR refrigerator (model #FGHB2844LF1). The ice maker broke two years into the purchase. We didnt fix it since we have a U-Line ice maker.

My wife purchased the extended warranty service from Frigidaire in case our Frigidaire washing machine or dryer went out. After our washer stopped working due to some type of drum problem. Frigidaire sent a technician (American TV and electronics), who did not open the washer but tried to inspect the problem by trying to spin the drum. According to the technician there was something stuck in the drum and they required authorization from Frigidaire to continue with repairs. Frigidaire refused to authorize repair and called it customer neglect. Well, I opened the washing machine myself and opened the washer tub assembly, only difficulty was the weight of the tub assembly.Needless to say there was no clothing stuck in the drum. I ordered the rear bearing (manufacturer defective; 1 year old Frigidaire affinity washer - $900.00 dollars) which I personally switched. Washer is working perfectly. Lazy technicians did not want to check interior problem. Requested refund for extended warranty for both washer and dryer. Frigidaire said that they were going to charge technicians fee. Two weeks have passed and there has been no refund. By the way when my wife called Frigidaire they kept telling her that their district manager had been e-mailed for authorization. Being in retail myself all decisions go to location manager. As a school teacher I will let my students now that Frigidaire will not stand by their product, nor their warranty promise.

I purchased a French door refrigerator 8 months ago. The bottom door shelf broke off after 5 months. I ordered a new one. It took 6 weeks to get it. It arrived in a book with most of the chef in wrapped in a plastic bags. The end had broken off and was laying on top of the bag. Yes, the obviously dropped and broke the shelf in packaging and shipped the broken shelf anyway. I called to return the shelf. Their policy is that the customer has to buy a 2nd shelf, and they will credit your account for the first. Well, that was 6 weeks ago. I have not received credit for the broken shelf and the new shelf has not been shipped. I’ve made 2 attempts to find out when the shelf will be shipped, and no one seems to know. They were however able to take my money twice. I will be buying the rest of my appliances from a more reputable company.

As a result of an inability to control freezer temperature, food in freezer
As a result of an inability to control freezer temperature, food in freezer got freezer burn and in fridge any beverages next to freezer wall got ice in them. Service company, Anderson Appliance of Pensacola, was very responsive and tried replacing all electronics to no avail. After replacing two boards and reprogramming them, they declared it a defective refrigerator and put me in contact with Frigidaire warranty. At first this was a very frustrating process as they only wanted to replace it with the replacement for that model which would not match the finish on the 3 appliances we bought at the same time while building our custom home. We expected that any replacement provided would have to match the other Frigidaire appliance we bought less than 6 months before.I wound up calling and getting another warranty representative who was sympathetic to our issue and immediately had the supervisor upgrade us to the only refrigerator with the same finish at no cost to us. Juanique and Matt ** were very helpful in quickly resolving our issue and following up to ensure that the vendor we bought the refrigerator from ordered our replacement and did not charge us for it. Although it took a long time to get the initial approval, once I found the right staff in the warranty department, our new refrigerator was delivered within a few weeks. We love the new refrigerator which holds its temperature in both compartments and are thankful that Frigidaire helped us resolve this issue to our satisfaction.

The following is a letter written in response of the poor quality of Frigidaire products purchased for my new home. This letter was uploaded 2 times via Frigidaires website contact us page and mailed via USPS and have had no response to any correspondence. (I have submitted this letter twice via your website and have had no response.)Upon building my new home in 2008, I purchased all Frigidaire Professional Series products for my new kitchen. Since moving in, I have had issues with each piece except the dishwasher (PLD4555RFC2). The double ovens (PLEB30T9FC) hinges squeak when I open or close the doors. The top ovens hinges were replaced during the warranty period, yet they have begun squeaking again. Moisture gets between the glass (an area I cannot open to clean) leaving behind water spots and dust when it dries. This obscures the view of the food I am cooking. No matter how clean I keep the oven, it always looks dirty when viewed through the glass. The microwave (PLMVZ169GCC) touch plate cover had scratches when it arrived and so it was replaced via the warranty.I purchased a full fridge (PLRU1778ES3) and freezer with ice maker (PLFU1778ES3) with the trim kit and gave the specification sheet to my cabinet maker to ensure a custom fit for the unit. The freezer has had frost issues because the door seal would not completely seal when closed. We were able to have the seal replaced during the warranty period as well. Now the refrigerator runs constantly on any setting during any season, but it cannot keep pace to chill food enough, even on the coldest setting. Milk seldom lasts to its expiration date. The compressor has been replaced and the Freon charged but it continues to run all day and all night. When the fridge does turn off--maybe once a week, provided it hasnt been opened for more than eight hours--it seems like something is wrong in the house because it is so quiet! Also when the fridge is off, the contents inside are covered in dripping condensation, which spoils our produce more expediently.Your recommended repair company has determined that it is not feasible to repair the unit because it has a Freon leak, which can only be remedied by overriding the refrigeration device and building a new device on the outside of the unit. Ultimately, a new refrigerator would be more feasible and cost-effective. I have called Frigidaire to inquire assistance for all the problems were are having. We have been informed that Frigidaire refuses to offer any solutions because our products are no longer under warranty. Since we made this purchase, you have changed the design of the full fridge and full freezer. To replace the refrigerator, we would need to replace the freezer and trim kit too! After five years in a brand new home, we are faced with spending $3200.00 on a new fridge and freezer unit. We purchased your top-of-the-line professional series appliances because we love to cook and entertain and we believed your sleek, well-designed appliances would assist us in this endeavor. Your fridge and freezer units are the centerpiece of our kitchen. We designed our entire kitchen, down to our drawer pulls, to match these units.Upon our endorsement of your products, friends and family have purchased several Frigidaire appliances for their homes. Now due to our loyalty to your brand, we would appreciate in-kind loyalty from you by helping us to remedy our lingering predicament. Could you please offer a resolution that will repair the aesthetics of our kitchen and thus endorse our faith in Frigidaire? We would appreciate your graciously offering an in-house credit toward the purchase of a replacement refrigerator, freezer, and trim kit for our home. Although the new appliances would no longer precisely match our current double oven, dishwasher, microwave, and drawer pulls, they would still be the centerpiece of our kitchen. Certainly this is a more pleasing solution than pairing a short Frigidaire freezer with a taller Frigidaire refrigerator below an empty hole where the trim kit no longer fits. Helping us to defray the cost of these appliances because you stand behind your name, would ensure continued fierce loyalty toward your brand. Thank You.

They want you to take additional warranty however they don’t even take responsibility on fixing stuff under one-year warranty. Service people come and they are so rude. When you call the customer service they don’t want to hear anything because they are tired of listening to the complaints all day. Used LG and Samsung Brand in the past. We purchased a complete Frigidaire Kitchen Suite. The microwave had to be replaced because the rack that came with the microwave fell and burnt a hole in the side of my microwave. The Refrigerator continues to freeze my food. It was repaired 3 times and then replaced only to have the new one do the same thing. I contacted the head of Electrolux Keith McLoughlin and a Rita ** called regarding my email. I asked for a complete refund. They want to refund the price I paid for just the Refrigerator when I got a better price because I purchased as a suite. The difference is $400.They also offered to replace with another refrigerator that is a different color and will not match other appliances. I again asked to have my entire purchase refunded. I have contacted the BBB and the Attorney Generals office in hopes to get this resolved. I dont feel I should get screwed when it is their products that are the issue.

My microwave at home is an OTR from Frigidaire. 1 month out of mfg warranty
My microwave at home is an OTR from Frigidaire. 1 month out of mfg warranty, it stopped working in the middle of cooking some steam-fresh veggies on July 23rd. I called the service dept and they had me purchase a 1 year extended warranty for about $30 and then created a service tech visit for me. A few days later, I got an email saying the service visit was scheduled for August 27th (more than 30 days!). I called and asked if there would be anything shorter than 30+ days and was reassured that Frigidaire would find a new date that wasnt so far out as they agreed it was a very long wait time. I never got a call back on that and never got a new service window or scheduled time.So Aug 27th came and I called Frigidaire again to make sure this was still scheduled in the system because I never got any confirmation call in the week leading up to the appointment. I was assured this service visit was still scheduled, so my husband stayed home from work all day to wait for the technician. The service tech never showed up (I called them every hour during their 8 AM - 5 PM window and they never answered or returned my voicemails). So I called Frigidaire back and they said they would try to get another service tech scheduled. The next day, I got a call back and was told they couldnt find a service tech, so they would do a product exchange and I would get the details within 2 days.So this morning, it had been 2 days and I still hadnt heard about the exchange details, so I called Frigidaire back. They told me that they will have the ticket for review for 6-8 business days and they will let me know on September 10th if they are able to find a new service tech or if they will do the exchange AND they said that if they do the exchange, I will now be responsible to pay the delivery and installation fees. So it will be 49 days from my initial issue before I find out what the (hopefully) final resolution will be. I was told by the supervisor on this last call that she firmly believes this is a good customer service practice.

Frustration is buying an appliance that is covered under warranty. When the product breaks... Getting TERRIBLE customer service. I have a dishwasher in a rental home. It is leaking... You can see photos of the ceiling damage it has caused. They have sent 2 of their people out. I have paid for my own person to go out who was able to diagnose the problem. It is an intermittent leak so it doesnt leak all the time. No resolution. No new appliance, no fix to my product. Just this back and forth over which time my tenants dont have a dishwasher. Its been going on 2 months. I finally told them Take the piece of crap out and shove it. I will just buy a new one BUT NEVER EVER FRIGIDAIRE.

I redid my kitchen and bought the Frigidaire professional series range, fridge and dishwasher. The 1st stove had to be replaced within a month for electrical problems, 2nd stove the wire was shorted out and the burner did not work. The fridge drawers were put together with tape from the factory and were broken. Sent me new ones, wrong ones. I have owned Frigidaire for over 30 years. They have gone downhill and I would never buy their appliances again. Also, dealing with customer service - you are on hold for 20 minutes. Some people are rude. Some are nice. I was swayed away from Samsung and LG because all the dealers told me you cannot get repair people to fix them. I dont know what I would next time. I was also suppose to get an extended warranty for 1 year parts and labor on the range. Havent seen it come through the mail yet.

We have purchased two Frigidaire Professional ranges, and neither will work
We have purchased two Frigidaire Professional ranges, and neither will work. The part number is FPEF3081KF. Frigidaire is saying that the problem is the electrical service in this part of the US (Kansas), however, we arent having any problems with the Frigidaire Gallery, GE, Samsung, or Whirlpool appliances in this same small development. Supposedly Frigidaire is replacing one range (with what knows what), and says the other doesnt qualify because its not a manufacturing defect.I cant follow the logic there, since neither one will work. I guess Kansas must be the equivalent of a third world country and we just shouldnt expect to be able to buy appliances and actually have them work. Another Frigidaire representative says that replacement power supplies are being engineered, and they should be available in a few weeks. In the meantime, two military families are living without being able to cook. If you want logical and caring customer service, dont buy a Frigidaire. Frigidaire thinks its okay for people to wait weeks for repairs.

We purchased our Frigidaire convection oven at Home Depot about 3 years ago. It has worked great till tonight. We were baking potatoes for dinner (in what we thought was a 400 degree oven) when, after about 30 minutes, the oven started beeping non stop and 'F10' was flashing on the display. The stove top was very hot to touch and a strong electrical smell was filling our house. The oven window was dark brown. I opened the oven door, thinking there was an oven fire and the heat that came from the oven was overwhelming! I was unable to turn off the oven, so my husband finally tripped the breaker. After reading all the other reviews, we will be keeping the breaker off and getting a new oven tomorrow!!

We just bought a stove, fridge, freezer and washer/dryer from Appliance Canada. The very first day that I used our new stove, the stovetop got scratched and the water that spilled on the stove went to a hard crust and will not come off. I called Appliance Canada for an exchange and was told that Frigidaire would not come to see the stove as this is cosmetic. I dont understand, I purchased a new stove and this should not happen after one or even 100 uses. Yes, it is cosmetic but why would I want a brand new stove with a ruined stove top. The stove, which I purchased 10 years ago looks better than the new stove. When I called Frigidaire, the customer service person (Michelle), was very rude and kept cutting me off. Again, she went off on it being cosmetic so it is not under warranty.I explained to her that the product was just bought and this happened after first use and got worse on second use. She again said that it is cosmetic and again I went on and said that they should back up their product. It is cosmetic but I have a ruined stove after 1st use and this should not happen with their product and if it does, they should look at it and fix the problem. Extremely upset.

I bought a refrigerator from Lowes about 4 yrs ago and havent slept since. The thing is so loud and vibrates so bad that I cant hear the television thats in the other room. I wake up all night just wanting to push the junk box out the door. I called about the noise issue when I first got it and they told me it was that was normal. As soon as I can afford it this piece of junk is going in the dumpster and Im buying a new LG brand. And NOT from Lowes.

Frigidaire apparently is one the few manufacturers that wants to deal directly with purchasers of their products. You wouldnt think so today after their service representative wouldnt let me speak to his manager and hung up on me. I bought a refrigerator one month ago from a store in Vaughan. It arrived defective from Frigidaire. They scratched my hardwood, my brand new white rug had black marks on and my walls were damaged. Fixable, but annoying nonetheless. The same day the fridge was delivered, I sent a video to the delivery department, who sent it to Frigidaire, showing the problems/defects. Someone was supposed to get back to us within a few days. A few weeks later, there was still no call from anyone, no follow up. After a total of six calls, waiting 20+ minutes each time for someone to pick up, getting constantly passed off and their CSRs passing the buck back onto us to follow up with them once again if we dont hear back, we finally got a technician out to look at the refrigerator, almost one month later. Repair guy stayed for less than 5 minutes and told us the unit was non-repairable. I called Frigidaire again, waited for another 20+ minutes, and spoke to Rodney, who put me on a long hold. He kept switching off his mic while I was trying to explain what happened. He clearly wasnt interested in helping at all so I asked to speak to a manager instead. He said no. A few times he refused. I asked why and he said because. Then he pretended he couldnt hear me asking and hung up on me. This experience really left a terrible taste in my mouth. People, if you need to buy appliances, rethink choosing Frigidaire. Do your research and try to choose a manufacturer that wont treat you like total garbage after you spend thousands on their product.

Purchased Frigidaire gas wall oven model FFGW2415QS Serial AF71303898 on 4/24/2017 at Home Depot. Oven stopped working 4/30/2018. Have contract with our gas co, they installed igniter. Stopped working 5/15/2019, another igniter installed 5/19, 2 months later stopped again, this time they installed Frigidaire igniter. Oven stopped working 6/30/20 another igniter installed 8/20, stopped again, installed a valve, 2 weeks later stopped again, another igniter. Stopped working 12/25 while cooking Xmas dinner. Had repair here today, they ordered wire & new panel. Advised if this doesn’t work contact mfg. I have called at least 15 times, sent 4 emails, only response I received was to purchase a new service contract! Today I chatted with a Christa, she wants service records which I called for already, however, I asked to chat with a manager. Brandi came on, she is manager of Digital Team, wants records of service calls. Understand, but to get sarcastic on chat. Seven (7) service calls in less than 3 years. Five during pandemic, that was reason why I tried to wait for service. The oven is not used every day, never in summer as grill is used for everything. Reason why calls are so high per Brandi not fully staffed due to covid. Meanwhile consumer has difficulty trying to address our problems.

We purchased our slide-in oven in 2010. Its functioning OK. The faceplate on the control panel is de-laminating and looks unsightly. Unfortunately the faceplate comes only as part of the control panel assembly which costs $378. I contacted Frigidaire online and requested if the face plate could be obtained separately and/or if there was any financial assistance they could provide. Their email declined any financial assistance towards the repair due to the stove being out of warranty and ignored my question about obtaining only the needed faceplate. They suggested I contact customer service which I did and they reiterated that nothing could be done to assist with my issue other than purchase the control panel for $378. Also, the phone number for customer service provided in the email was an automated system that directs you to repair shop based on your zip code. I did eventually find a number for Electrolux Customer Service (888-696-3744) that I did call.

I am renting my house, and my tenant called me to tell me that my 2 year old Frigidaire stopped working? I am living in Bangkok, Thailand, working with illegal adoptions, and former retired Police Officer from New Jersey, and am not a Private Investigator. My tenant called Sears, and they came out and looked at it, and stated it has a fan problem that has expanded on something and cannot be fixed. I bought all Frigidaire appliances to go with my new kitchen, dishwasher, stove, oven, and microwave, wine cooler, which does not work anymore either. I have no other recourse but to buy a new one. Does Consumer Affairs help people like me?

The Frigidaire FFGC3626SS 5 pilot gas range is very pretty and I like everything about it - EXCEPT - The knobs started breaking within a month of installation and all 5 knobs broke 3X within the first year. I was given two free sets, but now, since it is a few weeks past 1yr from purchase (but within 1 year of actual installation & use). I am being offered new knobs at $17.00 each (the full price is $75.00 each for PLASTIC knobs). There is no warranty on the new knobs. The Frigidaire website is FULL of 1 star reviews due to these knobs breaking. Apparently, the heat from the range makes the stems on the knobs brittle & the stems snap & making the knobs completely useless. I did not buy the extended warranty - One reviewer stated that the knobs are not covered by it anyway, but I havent confirmed that. I am down to 1 working knob on a 14 month old gas range. BTW, the size is unique & hard to fit with universal knobs from other makers. Run Away from Frigidaire Range Tops!!!

I bought my fridge at Teppermans in Windsor. The staff were hard to find and when I did they disregarded my questions and made me feel like I was bothering them because I was multi buying for a discount, I had to tell them it was on sale as they didnt recognize the sale and were trying to tell me they were not on sale until after about 3 sales people tried to find the sale on it and embarrassed me as if I was lying or trying to get it cheaper than regular price and that it was a cheaper brand, I finally proved them right and they didnt apologise, They thought they can make me pay the price on the sticker. I was so upset and wonder how many customers they do that to. My fridge had many problems and they would not fix it. Gave me a hard time so I will not shop there no more and my fridge lasted 5 yrs only.

We bought a new home in 09/13, we upgraded our appliance package to the tune of 1800.00 dollars above the amount allotted by the builder. We had nothing but problems with the appliances. Dishwasher, stove, and now the fridge. Yes I understand they are just over 5yrs old. But when we bought the appliances we made sure of the warranties on the units. typical warranty 1yr complete, 5yr compressor. Weve had to have the fridge serviced a couple times over the years, and Frigidaire {Electrolux} has been aware that there was a problem with the compressor. So fast forward a couple months, now the unit is completely off warranty. Low and behold they will not warranty the compressor. Sorry of which they have changed their warranties to now only be 1 yr for the complete fridges, no compressor warranties beyond the year. But they would gladly sell me a NEW compressor to the cost of 495.00 canadian, shipped. But I must have a Frigidaire approved installer put it in at the cost of 695.00, bringing the total repair to 1100.00 Well we decided to just scrap the fridge since the repair is so costly, and no guarantee it would last. So why not just buy a new Fridge from another manufacturer. Oh ya did I mention Samsung, Dayco and numerous other manufacturers have increased the warranty periods on their refrigerators. The last time I ever buy a Frigidaire or Electrolux product ever. Also I will make sure as many people know as possible that they do not stand behind their product.
