After spending over $5ooo. for 2 refrigerators, I cant understand for the life of me why Frigidaire will not take back our refrigerator and issue refund. We are constantly having issues with the french door ice maker. This is our second time purchasing due to the same issue. I plan to take further actions to inquire about customer satisfaction.

Its systems are super easy to maintain and clean. Very cold air is produced and it's very quiet compared to other products. It's also very affordable and space saving on certain units. It has been great overall. Product quiet and effective. Not much water waste either for those who don't like to waste. I enjoy it a lot after a hard day of hot work. Cool, sleek design on some products. They're very edgy and give a home or business that extra touch that makes it seem more modern and beautiful. It has never given me any trouble in almost 3 years. Best investment of my life. I just clean it externally and let it rest for a few hours a day. Other than that nothing needs to be done.

Bought a Frigidaire refrigerator 6 months ago. It stopped working this past Monday. Lost all my food, contacted Sears where I bought it. They would not do anything about it. Told me to contact Frigidaire customer service. They were no help at all. Could not get anyone out to fix until 3 days later. Too late, 200 to 300 dollars worth of food that was in fridge went to the dump. They had the balls to offer me 25 dollars to help on replacing food so service tech came out on Thursday. He was very helpful, the only one had sense but didnt have part to fix so had to order part.So its going to be another 3 days for the part to arrive. They dont care whether they can help you or not. All they could say was, Thats all I can do. So anyone buying this product better think about buying any Frigidaire product because they lie about speedy service and warranty is not worth a damn. I will not purchase any more of their product. Its nothing but junk.

I purchased a Frigidaire dishwasher on 10/9/2017. Installed on 10/6/2017. On 3/1/2019 it wouldnt pump out the water. Disassembled found impeller on pump was shattered (made of thin plastic). My last dishwasher lasted 21 years without a problem. It was a Maytag. No more Frigidaire for me. They were well respected in years gone by. I feel any appliance should last at least 7 years.

I bought a Frigidaire front load washer, and have had problems right from the start, so we had gotten a extended warranty through Frigidaire, and have had problem after problem (serviced at least 7 times in 3 1/2 years), and told from a Manager at customer service Jennifer that not only will they not replace this lemon of a washer, but are not responsible for the horrible service men they send out to my home, the first one General key Stone tried to lie and say it was something I put in my washer causing the problem to the company, but told me different, and found out from another service man that he just lied cause it was a hard to get to piece he had to replace, and then that service man who came back several times hit a valve and caused my basement to somewhat flood with this rusted water from a old pipe that was not being used, and brand new towels were ruined, along with a throw rug. You also have to wait for the servicemen to come, (and take off from work these days, and pay for wash to be cleaned while waiting), and then wait at least a week or 2 or 3 for the parts, and then another week for the repair Apt. This company is of no help. Do not buy anything from Frigidaire including any service contract. Youre better off just buying a new machine from a good company like Whirlpool. Will never purchase anything from Frigidaire again.

Three years ago I had to buy a fridge, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. All were gallery models except the stove which was a professional, 5-burner, convection oven professional. One month after the warranty ended the dishwasher started to have problems. I have had three repair calls on it and two repair calls on the fridge within the three years that I have had them. About a year ago, the control panel on the stove started to act up. Pressing the pads became harder and finally one ring would not work. Then the oven controls started to malfunction. Numbers for the temp and time wont work. Try and enter 450 degrees and all I can get, at present, is 397. Now I am told that I need a new control panel for about $250-350 plus service charge. WHAT A RIP-OFF!

We have purchased two Frigidaire Professional ranges, and neither will work
We have purchased two Frigidaire Professional ranges, and neither will work. The part number is FPEF3081KF. Frigidaire is saying that the problem is the electrical service in this part of the US (Kansas), however, we arent having any problems with the Frigidaire Gallery, GE, Samsung, or Whirlpool appliances in this same small development. Supposedly Frigidaire is replacing one range (with what knows what), and says the other doesnt qualify because its not a manufacturing defect.I cant follow the logic there, since neither one will work. I guess Kansas must be the equivalent of a third world country and we just shouldnt expect to be able to buy appliances and actually have them work. Another Frigidaire representative says that replacement power supplies are being engineered, and they should be available in a few weeks. In the meantime, two military families are living without being able to cook. If you want logical and caring customer service, dont buy a Frigidaire. Frigidaire thinks its okay for people to wait weeks for repairs.

We purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator in May of this year. Because of the pandemic, I received my fridge in July. Initially the fridge worked very well. We use it in the garage only for bottled water and Gatorade. We were not planning to use it in the winter as it is not “garage ready”. Towards the end of August, we noticed a small crack in the bottom floor of the fridge. We should have taken a picture of it...lesson learned! It is now the beginning of October and the crack has started to open up with the edges of the plastic curling up and exposing insulation. The plastic surrounding the crack is now starting to bubble and looks like it may follow in cracking. I have plenty of pictures. I tried to contact Frigidaire but all I can get are recordings (“due to high customer call volume “) that direct me to a local repair shop since my fridge is only a few months old. The repair shop was very good and sent the pics of the fridge directly to Frigidaire. However, Frigidaire claims the damage is not covered and blames me for dropping something on the plastic causing the damage. As far as I know, nothing has been dropped in the fridge. Even if a plastic water bottle was dropped, I am amazed that it cause a cracked in plastic that is now deep enough to expose insulation. I also don’t understand how all of the plastic is bubbling up underneath. That is MOST DEFINITELY not caused by something being dropped. When I called to follow up on the case number given by the local shop, Frigidaire operator is a recording saying they are unable to take any calls. For a company as big as this, with products as expensive as theirs, how is this acceptable customer service?! You can’t even reach them!! Totally unacceptable and I will never be purchasing a Frigidaire product again. I will most definitely be leaving a review on my YouTube channel detailing my experience with this company.

I will say this. Dont buy. We remodel last year and looked at reviews for the gallery appliance. All three had good review and the only appliance that has not been repaired is the stove. The French door with bottom freezer refrigerator has been repaired twice and now is broken again. Bottom door does not close right after it has been fixed before. Now the water dispenser does not work. Both ice makers had to be fixed. Now on to the dishwasher. It is the $600 piece of crap that has been sitting in my kitchen that does not work. You turn it on and it floods the floor. How many times has it been fixed in one year do you ask? 4 times. Is it fixed? NO. You call Frigidaire to fix. They call a crappy repair company which there is only one in my area and 3 weeks later he calls to set up an appointment. The last scheduled repair was in December 2014 and it is now May 2015 - still not fixed, still calling and nothing. But Frigidaire keeps calling and emailing me to buy extended warranty on freaking broken appliances they never got fixed. Buy another product from someone else because this company does not care.

My Frigidaire microwave is black and stainless. I love the contemporary look and this one goes well with that look and would also fit in with most styles. I have the one that goes over my stove, had it for over 5 years and it still works very well. I love the fact that I can use the timer and microwave at the same time. The price is in the medium range and the best part is it still looks like new. It is very durable, always functioned well and cleans very easily.

Frigidaire appliances are the worst. We bought the Frigidaire Gallery series, all four major appliances - brand new from Appliance Factory Outlet. I will NEVER buy Frigidaire again and will not buy from Appliance Factor Outlet again. We paid extra to get the gallery series so fingerprints are less noticeable and apparently the extra money is only for that feature because the appliances have been nothing but trouble. Within 2 years we have had 7 repair calls on our refrigerator (ice machine not working, ice machine freezing/seizing up, doors not sealing, under drawer freezer ice build up, etc. etc. etc.). One time the complete cooling system went out and we had to throw out a bunch of food, of which they do not care about. Thank goodness we had the extended 10 year warranty or else we probably would have spent enough money to buy another refrigerator on service calls. Appliance Factory Outlet was less than helpful. They clearly had the attitude that its not their problem. They want the sale without any customer service. The warranty people (Brand Source) are irritated every time I have to place another repair call. I actually had Brand Source correct me after I said you guys have been out to my house a million times and she sarcastically said they told me that I have had only 7 repair calls. Unbelievable. Now we are 3 years into our new appliances and the dishwasher has broke 2 times. Unfortunately, we do not have the extended warranty on that. The oven also has had issues but suffice it to say - never buy Frigidaire appliances. I called the corporate office and they said you have to have 4 occurrences OF THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM before they will consider a replacement. I guess 7 or 8 calls on a brand new fridge isnt troublesome to them.

Refrigerator model LGHK2336TF0 stopped working almost 1 month ago, with only 10 months of use. They are almost impossible to get service from them, they also insist that the warranty was expired, when is NOT. I had to fax them a copy of my receipt. Horrible experience, I ask for an RA# to change the fridge for another one and Valerie the manager immediately said, NO! You have to keep the same one. Unfortunately we bought a stove too and is extremely slow, it takes me a lot of more time to cook anything. Worst appliances and impossible service, stay away from them.

We were deceived, as consumers, in purchasing a Frigidaire Professional (fridge) in June 2013. In less than 3 years of normal use, the appliance broke down. Many parts associated with the low-pressure header to the heat exchanger, as well as the heat exchanger, had to be replaced. The cost of the appliance was expensive and not of quality. The cost of repair was also expensive, close to $700 CAD since it was no longer covered by the ridiculously short 1-year warranty of the manufacturer. We are taking the battle using legal action against Electrolux as we could not get any decent level of service from them or their accredited repair company (South Shore of Montreal). Not-so-professional. Be careful!

Frigidaire uses a third party service, AE Factory Service in Texas. Im Im Maine, they have no idea who they are sending and they dont care. The $900 refrigerator started giving us problems about 2 months after purchasing (made strange clicking and buzzing sounds and would stop cooling and had to be unplugged and then re-plugged into the outlet a couple of times to get it to start working). Fast forward to the present (5 months after purchasing) and the refrigerator and freezer have stopped working permanently (despite unplugging and re-plugging as originally suggested by Frigidaire customer service). After waiting nearly an hour to speak to a person, I managed to get Frigidaire to arrange for a repairman who told us the compressor was shot and the entire unit would have to be replaced. Learned that Frigidaire and its service partners DO NOT COMMUNICATE after another nearly one hour wait on Frigidaires customer service number (when I finally got a person, I waited another 20 minutes as the rep called the repair service to confirm what Id been told). While the repairman had told me the refrigerator would be replaced, Frigidaire says they will first have to check if parts are available (a compressor and a heater). I am now waiting for Frigidaire Corporate to reach out to me with details on how they plan to honor their standard 12-month manufacturers warranty (I should hear back within 72 hours according to what I was told by the service rep). Weve now been without a refrigerator for over one week without any idea of how long it will take to get this situation resolved. According to other reviews Ive read, it may well take over a month!

We purchased a complete suite of Gallery kitchen appliances approximately 2 years ago. Some observations: they look nice but the dishwasher leaked and damaged the kitchen floor. Negotiating repairs was a hassle. Since repaired, no new problem(s). Does a reasonable job but Bosch washers are clearly superior. PS: I ate the floor damage repairs rather than do the dance with Frigidaire. They are not easy to work with. The refrigerator froze items in the bins. There was a part missing (possibly an upgrade that was not with the unit) that diverted frozen/refrigerated air into the bin area. I installed it - it is better now. The unit moans, groans, squeaks, sighs, moans as though its possessed. We were told its normal. Normal? Maybe. Annoying for sure. The ice dispenser shoots ice all over the place. The exterior stainless surfaces are thin. They are generally non-smudge but the door handles are not. The range (glass top) controls suck. The porcelain finish chips very easily. The oven is fine, the convection feature is very nice. The microwave oven is OK. The controls and timer - reminder beeps are annoying. Would I buy them again? No. Id happily pay more for a superior product.

Purchased Frigidaire Professional Series gas stove & refrigerator from Lowes 2 years ago. STOVE: model fpgf3077qfb. The ink on stove faceplate, indicating the functions; bake, broil, convection, clean, etc and the temperature numbers are rubbing off. Cannot read the function or the temperature. Frigidaire states there is no fix for this and I would have to replace the entire faceplate. Cost of part $130.00. (who would install & how much?) The face plate becomes so hot when oven is on, it is difficult to use touchpad timer-ouch! Hot! Product failure not covered under warranty. Single nurse in my 60s, do not bake every day or even every week. Have not used harsh or abrasive cleaning products. Stovetop grates are uneven and you cannot pull a pot across the top -- it catches and you have to lift the pot to move it off a burner. Additionally, poor design on oven door. Vent slots are so sharp and unfinished I have cut my fingers and fingernails when opening the door. Oven racks are difficult to slide in and out. REFRIGERATOR: model fpbc2277rf5: Ice cube function on refrigerator door jams continuously and you have to remove the ice tray, pour out the ice and adjust the screw. The crushed ice function sprays ice everywhere. Old fashion ice trays would be better. I DO NOT RECOMMEND FRIGIDAIRE PRODUCTS.

We bought the Frigidaire Professional Series package from Build.com and since we installed everything in our new home we have had unresolved issues, dozens of service repairs and no resolve on multiple issues. The refrigerator makes loud noises (sounds like an airplane jet & chirping sounds). The oven racks do not slide in and out with ease and are scraping the coating off the inside of the oven and the surface cooktop is discolored with rust. Frigidaire did replace the range with another but we have the exact same issues again. The dishwasher never dries out and Frigidaire told us to leave the door ajar in between wash cycles.Every time we call Frigidaire we have to explain our situation over and over. The representatives just keep sending service repair out to work on brand new appliances. 4 different repair companies have been to our home since July 2016 when we moved in. The repair shops have even contacted the Frigidaire factory technicians to tell them we need a full refund on everything and Frigidaire declines the request. We have filed a complaint with the FTC and tried so many times to get our money back. Every time we request to speak with a supervisor who can resolve our problem they tell us we have no one else to talk to. Frigidaire refuses to own up to the defects in the Profession series line. Frigidaire does not stand behind their products.

I purchased my electric range stove in July of 2019. On January 5th 2020 my stove sounded like a bomb going off. The glass exploded out the top burning my sons face and hair destroying my floor, burned my cabinets and destroyed my above range microwave. I have now been told that this is a normal issue and it is a user error because apparently to much heat or something accidentally boiling over can cause this to happen. I was told that you can find this in the user manual that if it gets to hot or something boils over it can do this. I have been searching this manual to find this B.S. of a statement with no such luck. Frigidaire has been the worst company to deal with and for them to tell us that to much heat on the stove and it exploding is a user error is beyond disgusting. I am thankful that my son was not hurt worse and my house did not burn down. I do not recommend Frigidaire to anyone.

The 24-inch gas wall ovens are not displayed in stores. So, I made my purchase online from Airport Home Appliances. The difference in the appearance of the oven online and in person was as different as night and day. The oven sits too far off the cabinet. Which did not show online. There’s no frame around the oven, so it looks unfinished. The interior of the oven sides, door and gauges were not even. The bottom drawer was uneven, flimsy, and the parts inside were bent and didnt close completely. Airport Home Appliance agreed regarding the defective/damaged oven and ordered a replacement. Unfortunately, the 2nd oven had the same issues. They did remove the oven from my home. I paid $1699.00 for this oven, not including taxes and installation. Airport Appliances have told me it was manufactured that way and can’t promise me a refund. The oven was removed from my home. So now I have no oven and missing $2000.00.

I just ran across this website and had to give my review of Frigidaire appliances that I bought as a full set for a kitchen overhaul. The oven door was the first hint of quality issues. I discovered a spot of rust around the oven window but underneath the coating. It was visible but still felt smooth. I called Frigidaire support and they said it was out of warranty and I must be allowing moisture to get inside the door. I advised them that while I was aware that moisture causes oxidation I was having trouble with the concept of maintaining sufficient moisture upon a vertical surface on the door of an appliance that creates heat being the cause of the oxidation. They finally offer to replace the door skin but only if I used the approved appliance vendor that charges $90 per hour. The skin was only a little over $100 so I decided to save my money towards the purchase of higher quality appliances. My next issue was the microwave which caught on fire at slightly less than three years of age. Based on my previous experience I did not bother to call customer service and was just thankful that once the wiring burned up the fire extinguished itself. (BTW I did not replace the microwave with a Frigidaire, duh!) The final comment is that I just lost a burner on the stove top. The Frigidaire appliances are about 5 years old now. I cant help but reflect on the 30 year old electric GE range on which I never replaced anything.

New house came with all new Frigidaire appliances. Within about 4 months, the dishwasher had a pretty serious leak at the base of the door. Repair took a month as the door panels took a long time to get to the repair company. The technician seemed uneasy about the repair but expressed that he was obligated to do it. His parting words were along the lines of, Well, lets see how it goes. A month later, the same leak returned. I called Frigidaire and told them that this time Id like a replacement. They told me that the repair technician would have to make that determination. The repair service said they would gladly come out, but rarely will Frigidaire replace anything, they always end up repairing. I impulsively went out and charged a new machine, which reading this forum makes me feel as if I did the right thing.A month ago, the microwave clock began running about an hour fast or shutting off. The bottom shelf of the refrigerator falls off its track locking the crisper draws in place. I think its criminal that a company is allowed to produce massive amounts of impossible to dispose garbage. I feel horrible that I am sending a less than one-year-old dishwasher to the dump. My last unit was going strong after nine years when I sold my last house. After the washer is paid Ill charge a micro, then eventually the fridge. We all work in this house and cant take the time to have all these repair people to come. This is really aggravating.

I purchased the gas range 2 years ago. Within a month something had dripped down on the glass of the door and when I attempted to clean it, realized I was unable to because it was between the two layers of glass! Most ridiculous design. Id noticed that the back panel gets very hot when the oven or broiler is used. Tonight Im unable to turn off the broiler. Ive just been reading some of the other comments made by customers and realize it will almost be cheaper at this point to buy a new stove by another brand than to buy another piece of garbage like this item has turned out to be. The knob design is ridiculous as well. Leaky and different than any stove Ive had in the past. Think Im turning it off and its not off but LOW. Item looks good but shoddy made.Refrigerator is the same. This item looks good but dents so easily because the metal is so flimsy. My shelves are made of plastic and glass and the plastic has become brittle with the cold and many are developing cracks. I would sadly NEVER, EVER recommend this brand to a friend again. Im very disappointed and my family has always been a Frigidaire supporter.

Purchased the Gallery series in 2012. Frigidaire replaced the refrigerator due to multiple issues with the ice maker. The replaced refrigerator now has issues with the ice maker. Called a repair service and they found that the refrigerator is rusting from the inside out showing me a big rust spot that is leaking on the back of my refrigerator. Obviously have a bigger issue than the ice maker. Repairman tried working with a Frigidaire technician sending pictures 2 times with no luck. I called customer service, they wont let me talk to the technician. Told me to call an approved Frigidaire repair service giving me contact info. One place wont return my calls and the other place wont come because they dont want to get involved because it is out of warranty. I dont think it is normal for your refrigerator to rust from the inside out. Seems like a $2,000 refrigerator (replaced in 2013) should last more than 5 years and it wouldnt be normal to rust from the inside out! What poor customer service. I am out of leads to pursue. Not to mention the microwave burned out and we need to replace the Frigidaire microwave too.

Weve had this oven for four months now. It takes 30-40 minutes to preheat (to 350 or 400 degrees). The stench of resin from assembly, that the instructions promised would go away after a couple of uses, has still not gone away after 30+ uses. The racks for the oven are too narrow (or the walls of the oven are warped/poorly made). If you set a medium size casserole dish on the racks (with food in it)... the rack can fall out of its supports. I keep thinking to myself; how long have manufacturers been making ovens? Is it really that hard to provide an appliance this simple without design, manufacturing, and quality control flaws?

So far to date, our microwave since we bought these products has been serviced 3 times because the time is always running fast. Service tech has been out and changed the board with no results. It still runs fast and we keep being told the same thing. It can only be the board, yet the problem still remains. Also, we almost had a fire because the element in the oven warped and touched the bottom plate of the oven causing the plate to melt. Still with the stove, the light that shows you that the surface is hot dimly flickers all the time even though the stove has not been in use. They have been out to fix this problem as well saying a ground wire is loose, but it still does it. The built in vacuum that we purchased overheats all the time and after running it for about 5 minutes and then shutting it down, it wont start until it cools down. Had the motor replaced once already and it still doing it now. On to the latest problem, our dishwasher started leaking last night. Thought maybe just need a new door seal. Upon doing a look see, found out the water was not coming from the seal but rather from water hitting the door and coming out the bottom. After taking the dishwasher apart to see why the water was hitting the door in this fashion, I found holes in the bottom spray arm. These holes had been melted from the heater coil in the bottom of the dishwasher and the heater coil is warped in such a fashion that continued use will definitely cause a fire.

Oven very cheaply made and obviously there is an issue with the ignitor assembly as it keeps needing to be replaced. Luckily we bought the extended warranty (on the advice of the 1st repairman) so the repair was covered. However, I find product is inferior and Would never buy another Frigidaire. I have had this appliance for nearly a year, Dec. 30, 2015. Due to illness have not got around to voicing my complaints. This unit was highly praised by the sales man at Coast Appliances, Langley. As there are only the 2 of us to wash for I believed this unit would be ideal for space & efficiency. We cleaned & replaced any of the dryer venting before installation. I think I have given the unit a fair run & can say I am totally dissatisfied with its performance. The dryer will only dry a load on high heavy duty & then it must be full. I cannot dry a smaller load on any setting. Sometimes a small load will take 2 hours to dry. The washer tears clothing, I use tide pods & cleaner as recommended & find that wet clothes often come out with lint stuck to them even a load of delicates that do not contain lint, so I have to sponge lint of many items before I dry them. I also clean the washer & dryer after each load as recommended in the user manual. I am totally disenchanted with this unit that was to be my last washer dryer after 50 plus years of doing laundry. I would not recommend this brand to my friends. Thank you for your attention to, my concerns.

The Frigidaire FFGC3626SS 5 pilot gas range is very pretty and I like everything about it - EXCEPT - The knobs started breaking within a month of installation and all 5 knobs broke 3X within the first year. I was given two free sets, but now, since it is a few weeks past 1yr from purchase (but within 1 year of actual installation & use). I am being offered new knobs at $17.00 each (the full price is $75.00 each for PLASTIC knobs). There is no warranty on the new knobs. The Frigidaire website is FULL of 1 star reviews due to these knobs breaking. Apparently, the heat from the range makes the stems on the knobs brittle & the stems snap & making the knobs completely useless. I did not buy the extended warranty - One reviewer stated that the knobs are not covered by it anyway, but I havent confirmed that. I am down to 1 working knob on a 14 month old gas range. BTW, the size is unique & hard to fit with universal knobs from other makers. Run Away from Frigidaire Range Tops!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM FRIGIDAIRE. I bought this refrigerator last year about 4 months before the 1 year warranty expired. My refrigerator got a crack on the floor; Frigidaire send a company to taped, they drill a nasty hole next to the crack without my permission. For whatever reason they did they never got my authorization, then the tape came off a few days later after was applied. That’s when I saw the hole next to the crack, Frigidaire offer to send another company for a second opinion. The company came and told me was unrepairable. I call again and they said that they were sending other companies. They schedule me about 6 times holding my time for 5 hours every time. I called Frigidaire and spent minutes on the phone explain every representative the same issue. They all reschedule me, no one shows up. No one ever fix or replace my fridge. Even one of the companies they sent out told me that Frigidaire was one of the most awful companies to deal while you have an issue, they stated that is just a cosmetic problem and isn’t affecting the function of the refrigerator. Now I stuck here with this suite of appliances from Frigidaire with a hole, a crack and a tape sticking off my Refrigerator. If I ever knew this I WILL NEVER BUY FROM FRIGIDAIRE AND OF COURSE I WILL NEVER BUY AGAIN.

This was purchased at Lowes. When we called Lowes, they informed us that there was only a 7-day return policy and that they could not send a repairman for two more days! So here we sit with tons of spoiled food, no fridge for two days and can’t return the piece of junk nor are we compensated for all the lost food. If it breaks down within three weeks, I can only imagine how long it will be before it breaks again. It is obviously a lemon and there is nothing we can do.

Ever since we got this top of the line fridge new, Eve noticed that the ice maker is nearly useless. If you use ice then be prepared to constantly turn on the quick freeze option, which really doesnt help either, but at least you get some ice. Now though to make matters worse, the ice hopper has broken, the ice maker drips water out of the front door and spews water all over our floor every time we open the door. The ice turns into gigantic chunks, the width of the entire hopper, by melting together- I cant even open the door without trying to break the chunks by running the ice maker, and risking burning up the motor. So I ordered a replacement unit, but everyone must be having this issue because theres a nationwide backorder. Last time I buy this brand, it sure looks nice, but only if you dont need an ice maker.

I bought a new Frigidaire refrigerator from a company that went out of business a few months later (H.H. Gregg). Within 6 months, we experienced multiple problems (doors would not stay shut, shelves breaking loose from brackets, icemaker malfunctioning). Called Frigidaire just prior to manufacturer warranty expiration; they scheduled a service call from a local repair shop. I stayed home from work to meet them, but they did not show up. It took over 2 weeks for them to find a different local repair shop. Missed work again to meet them; they couldnt fix it without replacement parts. 3rd service call (more missed work), discovered Frigidaire sent defective repair parts! 4th service call (more missed work), they finally gave up and said the appliance was a manufacturer defect and unrepairable. By this time, the manufacturer warranty had expired, so Frigidaire/Electrolux refused to cover the replacement cost! Same problem it took them weeks to conclude was not repairable. Their incompetence led to the delays past the warranty period. Finally offered to give me a replacement unit if I agreed to pay a $325 shipping and handling charge! Even I agreed to that, they would not guarantee that the new unit would be free of defects. Said I would have to rely on their standard limited warranty for repairs to the second unit. I refused and demanded a full refund, but they wouldnt budge. They even refused to pay the bill for the multiple service calls to try and repair the first piece of junk, until I threatened legal action. Their customer service was beyond terrible. They lied repeatedly and could not communicate within their own company. They did not care about me or my concerns. I will NEVER buy another product from that unethical company!

If I want to avoid the trip fee, they want me to pay for an extended warranty. Either way, they want more money. This just tells me they are using a defective product & could care less about the customer experience. Horrible accommodations to a client. For the amount they charge & the number of times they’ve been out, I could have easily purchased another appliance. If it was the 1st or 2nd time, I understand. But at this point it tells me you have incompetent contractors “fixing” an item that should have been replaced & an appliance that messes up this many times in such a short amount of time tells me it’s horribly put together. Dont buy Frigidaire, Electrolux, and sadly GE appliances (all one company now owned in Sweden). My Frigidaire side by side broke after less than 5 years and the only thing they will offer me after calling twice and speaking with a manager (first supervisors name was ** the second was **) both times is 50% off (not including shipping) a part needed when ordered through them after paying for a diagnostic visit of $78. After doing my research consumers should expect a fridge to last 10-15 years. This company only want to guarantee you that their $1,000-$3,000 product will last a year! After that they believe you should pay more to protect yourself from their poor quality and unreliable product as they will not stand behind and guarantee the quality.I think this is completely unacceptable and disgraceful. And the company could care less. I asked them to allow me a credit of $78 from what I would be paying the repair man quote, towards the part as I felt that would be more fair and they refused. So after paying over $1,000 for their product that failed in less than half its life expectancy they were unwilling to give me a credit of $78 with no remorse. Also while calling for service from local repair people I asked them from their experience who are the best and worst out there for refrigerators and they said best: Maytag and Whirlpool. Worst- Frigidaire/Electrolux /GE. Remember when you shop online and look at reviews- companies pay people to write great reviews but not to write bad ones. So take special note of the poor reviews. Consumer affairs has them as a 1 star company.

My experience with my Frigidaire Gallery has not been a good one. I purchase a set and paid for extended warranty in 2011. Within my first year of my purchase I have had issues with the refrigerator and stove. The first refrigerator had a recall and I was given another one. Once I received the new one I had to call a tech through ACH a company that was referred by the insurance for any problems with the product. I was paying a monthly fee for the service that only resolved the issue temporarily. After paying for service that wasnt beneficial cost-wise, I canceled. The appliances are not good and doesnt withhold the value at all. I refuse to constantly pay for service on a product that is always in need of repair. As of now my ice maker is NOT working, the dishwasher is NOT working, two of the five burners are NOT working, and last but not least the microwave doesnt get warmer or cook. It just go through the motions of coming on.Im clearly NOT satisfied with the products and know there is nothing that can be done without paying a large amount of money to fix. I would probably come out better buying a whole new set and a different brand. This brand is NOT what it use to be! I am overwhelmed by the reviews. Never thought that this many people had problems and I wish I would have seen this before my purchase. What is even worse is no one had a good experience and the company dont care. What a RIPOFF!!! I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery gas Range from Sears. In 4 months the touch pad stopped working. First one number didnt respond. So, we stopped using the 1 digit. Soon another then another stopped working. The Sears warranty was invalid. So I replaced the $120 touch pad myself. While taking out the old part I noticed how poorly the thing was put together. All the screws were over-torqued cracking the plastic parts in many places. I replaced the touch pad and it worked fine. Then 2 more months went by and the electronic brain shorted out in a thunderstorm. Again, Sears would not do anything about it so I replaced the part myself. Now the new Sears replacement touch pad is starting to not work again! We now have to cook without the #3. So 350 degrees is 400 degrees or 299. It is so frustrating. We bought a whole suite of appliances. Frigidaire dishwasher was so bad that we had Sears come and get it the day after it was installed and they replaced it with a Kenmore when I complained repeatedly. The refrigerator works, but is noisy. I will never shop at Sears again and I recommend that you buy nothing there. They do not back up what they sell!

I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator from Home Depot less than a month ago and it’s been a poor decision since date of delivery. My parents and several friends have bought Frigidaire so I felt confident in my choice however their unwillingness to back their product that is only hours old has lost them future business. The fridge was delivered with uneven doors and a squeak that sounds like an old bed frame. They sent a tech who made the doors even but they still don’t shut flush. On top of that the fridge squeaks when we close the door or even touch the fridge, it’s ridiculous!! I asked for a new refrigerator and they have the NERVE to say “the squeak is not under warranty because the tech said it’s just a cosmetic nuisance”!! REALLY??? Well I just spent $2000 on this fridge and expect it to be free of “cosmetic nuisances”! Anyway they have yet to do anything except send technicians who tell me the fridge is not broke. The one guy actually told me to demand another be sent to me. I called Home Depot where I bought it and they said they need Frigidaire cooperation or else I will have a fee. This is nuts!!! I understand things happen, I just wanted it to be resolved especially since it had just been delivered! I will never buy Frigidaire again and I intend to write a review in as many locations as I possibly can. Not to mention, I plan to spread the word like it’s my darn job!! Had they made this right I would have earned them business but now it will cost them business. They don’t seem to care either! One more note, the girl on the phone told me these aren’t made like cars and aren’t supposed to last. LOL. Well I thought it would last longer than a few hours! Very disappointed in the brand and Home Depot!! Plus, train your people not to make those irritating comments, it doesn’t help your reputation at all!

I purchased this microwave from Lowes on 1/10/2018 and it started tripping the circuit breaker right after purchase. The repairman has worked on it four times about the breaker tripping and/or fuse blowing associated with opening the door before the unit stops. When he called Frigidaire technical support he was told that this is the way the unit is designed. We have been using a countertop unit since purchasing the unit since we cannot use this unit. I am now waiting for Frigidaire technical support approval for a full credit so I can purchase and install a new unit. Based on my experience I cannot recommend this product to potential buyers.

I sooo wish I could include a photo of the itty bitty piece of nasty cutting gashing scarring metal that is affixed to the lower half of the dryer door on top of my matching front - load washer. It runs across my forearm as it automatically comes at me incessantly. I wish I could say, Whaa, it scratches me and I hate it... Rather, it cuts me, gashes me and has thus far left three quite distinct marks that come and go with the sunny days...Oh, except for one; its red and is there all the time. I believe its called a SCAR, YOU ** HAVE YOUR NERVE WITH THIS CHEAP ENGINEERING MESSING UP MY ARM... ILL NEVER, NEVER BUY ANYTHING FRIGIDAIRE FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!

Door handle broke on refrigerator. Freezer ok. Company replaced with 2 handles. New handle broke again. I replaced with 2nd new handle and called company as I have extended warranty. Was told warranty does not cover cosmetic damage. Took handle off freezer door and put on fridge door, which also broke. My wife and I are in our 70s & we couldnt abuse our appliances if we tried. Im sure you have had an epidemic on broken door handles on this model. I might add I was treated rather abruptly and dismissively when I called. I chose not to renew my extended warranty for obvious reasons as I plan to move off in another direction.

I recently remodeled my kitchen. I bought all the professional series Frigidaire appliances. I wish I had not done that. They were very expensive. I can not believe how cheaply made they are and feel as well. The appliances are not even 3 months old and yet I have had the service tech/company to my home 3 times already. Microwave will not heat. My refrigerator barely makes ice yet the cooling drawer freezes everything (This is a drawer inside the refrigerator that should keep things a little colder than the rest of the refrigerator). I have had to throw out vegetables and other food as it freezes everything. The dishwasher racks are so flimsy... I get nervous that it will not be able to hold the weight of dishes or glasses that I put on them. I would love to have my reliable old appliances back that did not cost me a fortune. I would not recommend buying anything Frigidaire. I would recommend GE profile and or Kenmore. Never ever had a problem with these reliable brands.

I have what I consider a fairly new machine - bought in 2010. It has operated well with minimal use since my children have been grown since its purchase and since we own two homes (both with laundry) and use this less than half time. The last load I washed was fine. As I put a new load in, the error light showed E90 and it beeped. I could not get either to stop, so pulled out all the manuals that came with the washer and dryer that I got from Sears. Spent quite a while reading through all 3 to no avail. So looked online. Still there was nothing to let me know what the problem was. By this time I was feeling very frustrated. So I found an 800 number to call. I was shifted to 4 different people, repeating info several times. By the time I got to a tech, I was very frustrated. Then she could not find the particular Error code - Even with the info on her computer and available from me as to the specific machine! That seems strange. However the tech seemed to be sure that the problem is the computer board. Not sure thats the correct term. My last washing machine lasted over 20 years with no need for repairs. So I am extremely disgusted to find that the board will cost over $200.00 and the service fee will likely be at least $130.00. The tech tried to sell me an extended warranty for $215.00 (to save me money). This washer is only 4 years old! I feel hoodwinked. My washer in my other home is over 20 years old and is fine. Why would I ever buy another Sears product? Which is a shame, because I have gone to Sears for large appliances since 1971.

My oven range that was less than a year old started on fire. Thankfully no one was hurt. My appliance repairman came out (on a Saturday) and let me know that a short had occurred in a wire associated with the igniter. He told me to call Frigidaire. I did so. Simply put, the technicians the company hires to do the repairs only work 8-5, Monday thru Friday. Not convenient for people that work full time. There are plenty of technicians in the area that work after hours and weekends. Frigidaire as a company chooses not to pay the technicians that will work convenient hours. The customer service representatives and managers treat you like youre an idiot and just repeat themselves. I never write reviews but I wish I would have known this information before I purchased the product.

I contacted a repair service recommended by Frigidaire. They checked the appliance and ordered parts. When they came back and removed microwave - found it was burnt out and notified the company immediately on 6/9/14. Told me if I didnt hear from Frigidaire in a couple of days to contact them with ref. number. I contacted Frigidaire after 3 days and was told by a lovely lady the paperwork is not processed yet but she will do it and give them a week. I called back a week later and was told by that representative they were waiting for pictures etc before they can process my claim. No one told the repair company or myself this was needed. Now I have to wait for these to be processed again. Repair company emailing today. Each time I called Frigidaire I had a minimum of 20 minutes wait to talk to a representative. I have gotten Frigidaire products in past and purchased the refrigerator and top oven at the same time as the microwave but I will not be purchasing any Frigidaire products again!!

My issue isnt as dramatic as some Ive read, but nonetheless I am furious. I have a 5-year-old Frigidaire refrigerator and last night, I was going to clean under the crisper drawers. When I started taking it apart, I noticed the plastic frame was badly cracked. I called Frigidaire because that piece has no weight on it other than bread and other lightweight items, and should never break let alone in 5 years. They refused to do anything about it, and the discounted price they offered me was considerably more than online resellers of this part. I told them that was a ridiculous price since they are the manufacturer. Even worse, customer service said that they werent willing to replace it at no charge. They didnt seem to care. I will never buy another Frigidaire product if this is what they call customer service.

This dishwasher hasnt worked correctly since first purchasing it in Feb 2020. I tried to return it to Amazon within weeks of initially buying it and was told I would have to try to get it fixed through the warranty. Amazon would not accept a return without an outside company verifying that it could not be fixed. Now- 10 months later, Ive been working with Frigidaire/Electrolux warranty repair and it is a NIGHTMARE. DO NOT buy any Frigidaire or Electrolux products. They are crap, their warranty relies on certified repair people to come out and those repair people are scamming.I have been getting multiple emails for months saying the repair people have ordered parts and they have arrived and when I call to schedule the appointment for them to come out as instructed, they tell me they have no parts and they will have to order them. Its very obvious that the repair company is ordering parts from Frigidaire and using them for something other than fixing my machine. Frigidaire will not do anything when I tell them that the repair people are lying saying that they are coming out with parts. All they tell me is that it has to be fixed because the repair company is saying it can be fixed. Its been 11 months now. Im saying that they can not fix it if it has been 11 months. I wish I would have read a review like this when trying to decide which brand to go with. My advice is go with ANY BRAND OTHER THAN FRIGIDAIRE AND AMAZON.

We have had many Frigidaire products over the years. Not sure what happened to them, but they are certainly not what they used to be. Our latest... a new Frigidaire dishwasher, the master control board failed at 2 years and one month, just past warranty. And their service? Was a huge fail! They did not care. It was clearly a manufacturing quality control problem for that to fail. But the response from Frigidaire was they did not care. And, they had no interest in taking the machine or board back to see what went wrong with it (despite our offer). It was like they knew there was a problem... but they just did not care. So, we replaced it with an American made Whirlpool, and will do the same with the fridge and freezer. And we will never go back to Frigidaire again. For others, I recommend you research your purchases carefully.

We purchased our convection oven, quite expensive, a year ago. Have loved it until the last cleaning. I had a pie run over and I did follow directions of scrapping what I could get off of it. I then ran the self cleaning cycle and when I looked, it was burnt in that area and a dent showed up. I had contacted them before about sending me information on extending the warranty which never showed up in my mailbox. When I called to get a repair service recommendation to come out, as it was still under a year, there were none in my area. So what good is a warranty if no one is in area to fix or look at it? The floor of the oven had to be defective or this wouldnt have happened. I owned a GE before for 3 years and when we sold the house it looked as new as the day we moved in. I followed the directions and this is what happened. I will not recommend Frigidaire to any of our friends.

Purchased the fridge in May 2016 model # FFTR1821QW. Within a month it started making all kinds of noises. It was under warranty so Frigidaire sent someone out to look at the problem. They said it was a fan motor making the noise and replaced it. No sooner than a day later, the same noise, called again. Sent someone out, said they didnt know where the noise was coming from. Called again, sent someone else out who stated there have been several people calling in with the noises that are coming from the product and theres nothing that can be done. It sounds like someone is knocking at all hours of the day and night plus a crap-load of different sounds. Frigidaire says it normal for all these noises and they sent me a form letter of all the noises this could make. Frigidaire says all these noises are listed in the Owners Manual. DONT YOU GET THE OWNERS MANUAL WHEN YOU ACTUALLY OWN THE ITEM?Do not buy this product. The noises are loud, obnoxious knocking constantly. Every day they keep getting noisier and noisier. $500+ may not be a lot of money for a company like Frigidaire, but to its consumers its a lot of money to spend on a crappy fridge. I guess thats one way to make you buy a warranty, because you know its gonna break down at some point.

I fail to see that on any ad or paperwork at the time of purchase - nor did the repairman say anything about locale, he did state when asked that he would put it in the report that pad was not covered at installation - he did not! My $2,400 fridge stopped cooling after only 5 months. I had to call a 3rd party warranty service just to get ahold of Fridigaire! They were closed 2 days after Christmas and wouldnt answer the phones. After the 3rd day I was on hold for 5-10 minutes and would be hung up on due to high volume of calls. After hours of waiting I finally got through. They did send a local technician but he is at the mercy of Frigidaire sending parts. It is the control board apparently. I had to call and was on hold for 45 minutes just to get an answer on time frame. They said 3-5 business days then who knows when the installer can get to it.I tried to file a complaint or speak to a manager and the only option was a complaint that took the man 10 minutes but said there is nothing they can do now. Going on 12 days without a working fridge now. No apology from FA, and they will not answer Twitter or FB messages. They do not have an email or chat either. My advice is to call service lines before buying thousands in appliances and see how their CS is before buying. I would not have bought from FA if I had known their products are as terrible as their service.

I purchased a new double wall oven in Oct. 2012, and was generally happy with it. The first time we tried to use the self-cleaning feature, after several months, after a while running the self clean, the oven showed an error code and then shut down. It worked fine otherwise, but we have not been able to self clean. In the past month, we have started getting the same error code (F43) when using the oven for regular cooking as well. Although we could tolerate the lack of cleaning, we are now trying to fix. Frigidaire initially would not help, as we are out of the 1-year warranty period. Then they offered to pay for parts, provided we use an authorized service technician. They sent me the 3 service technicians in my area, and 2/3 did not return my phone call. The third came out and reported that the labor alone to fix the oven would be over $400, requiring replacing of a fan and a sensor. I contacted Frigidaire again, expressing my dissatisfaction with the oven, and telling them I didnt see a reason that a new oven should require these new parts, as well as being unhappy with being forced to use a particular service company, who seemed to be charging a very large amount. Completely unhappy experience, and I will not be buying a Frigidaire again.

Arent the glasses supposed to keep the temperature at certain level? By the way, the company providing the services are asking for a part for the seal. UNBELIEVABLE. A SEAL for the door and they dont want to pay for it. WOW. For a 1500 appliance, they do not want to cover the cost to repair a damn seal. Frigidaire Gallery Series only worthy of a shooting gallery. Upon purchasing our new townhouse from a developer we opted to upgrade our appliances - all of which were Frigidaire products including washer, dryer, dishwasher, stove. A garden hose and a table fan would have been more effective than either the washer dryer combo or the dishwasher. Despite being labelled as commercial, heavy duty, super capacity it doesnt take an active imagination to realize that it must have been opposite day when the marketing team drunkenly scribbled the copy they wanted to label the washer/dryer with. We consistently have to remove wet clothes from the dryer and run it again with only a handful of pieces. It usually takes three complete cycles on the highest heat setting to dry even the most modest load of laundry. The washer stops mid cycle on account of being over weighted with a single set of bedsheets The same goes for the dishwasher which takes over 3 noisy hours to run a single normal setting wash, only to find half the pre-rinsed dishes still need to be hand washed. Complete waste of money and time. AVOID AT ALL COST.

I purchased a side-by-side refrigerator with front ice dispenser on 5/15/11 for approximately $1200.00.Within a few months the ice dispenser would not dispense ice. I called Frigidaire and they gave me a company to repair which were a no show thrice. I called again and they set me up with a new repair company which to date has been here four times. They have spent about $880 to fix it and replaced everything. I called Frigidaire today to complain and request a new refrigerator as this is obviously unfixable. The representative told me about 6 times they would continue to attempt to fix it and their warranty is very clear that they dont have to replace it and there is no such thing as a lemon law for refrigerators. My concern is that they will ride this out to beyond the year or not correctly repair so that when the year is up I’d be stuck with a bad dispenser. They are sending the same parts they just put on and sending the tech back for the 5th time rather than admit it is a defective fridge and replacing it because under federal law they dont have to, the representative told me several times. In one year I will have no recourse and a bad fridge.

We manage a few properties and at one point ordered a few Frigidaire refrigerators. Three of them never worked upon arrival. I was thankfully able to get two of them replaced after several calls with the distributor because frigidaire refused. It has been a year and I still cannot get the third one fixed or replaced. I have had numerous calls dropped with their customer service, countless promises to have the item fixed, and even more promises that they would bring the needed parts to fix it the next time. I will NEVER purchase one of their products again for the sheer sake of how atrocious their customer service is. I hope you should never have to call their customer service, because after waiting on hold for a minimum of 30 minutes (there is no call back option), you will likely get someone who you have to re-explain the entire scenario to, they will still not understand, and your problem will still not get resolved. At this point Im likely to just throw away this refrigerator instead of wasting more time trying to get them to fix it. I was just on the phone for over an hour, they refused to give me a manager and the call surprisingly dropped. This has happened a number of times before when I have had issues and I never received a call back. 0/10 would recommend.

I have had 2 brand new houses with Frigidaire appliances. The first set we chose, getting better than contractor-grade items, paying extra. The second house, we had no choice in brands, only color. Basically, we hate them. Both fridges have pooped out and needed fixing, and the first one was twice, going over a week without a fridge. Second one was covered by warranty, and ok so far (now 4 yrs). But many other problems - many broken door shelves - this last fridge, 4 times, as well as replacing the cheapo drawers, cracking several times at the corners. We started just Gorilla Gluing them and refuse to buy anymore. And now, out of nowhere, our stovetop cracked while I slid a pot across to another burner. No clue why. And aside from this, it is so hard to clean! My mother-in-law saw where it wouldn’t come clean and kept scrubbing it until she finally realized it was not burned on food, but actually scratches she was making deeper! The time it takes to clean right, with many steps, just makes me not even want to use it to begin with. And then there is the dishwasher - both that Ive owned have never cleaned right - the one we have now has to be cleaned out so often. The cheap dishwashers we had in apartments cleaned better than both of my Frigidaires have. Never will buy again!
