When I bought my house in 2008, I got all new Frigidaire appliances--what a mistake! My stove was serviced almost 10x in less than one year! It is supposed to be self cleaning and the inside of it looks like a nightmare! My fridge has died and I have lost all my food! Their response is sorry, you didnt get extended warranty so you will need a new one! Nice. I will be sure to tell everyone never to buy a Frigidaire appliance ever! They are the worse! I am out $300.00 in food and no refrigerator!

This may come as a surprise to many people, but Frigidaire is NOT part of General Motors. In 1979, General Motors sold the Frigidaire line to White Consolidated Industries (WCI). Less than a decade later, in 1986, the Swedish company Electrolux purchased WCI. Today, ELECTROLUX REMAINS THE OWNER OF the FRIGIDAIRE group. So while Electrolux might have been good at making vacuum cleaners, they apparently have problems with larger appliances. I noticed an another post that somebody mentioned American made in reference to his refrigerator. I am not sure if this applies to everything with the Electrolux/Frigidaire label, but mine is clearly labeled Made in Mexico.

Frigidaire gas range - One of the burners burns way too high and hot. The manual says it can be adjusted. I had 2 service calls for this issue. Both servicemen said it was by design and there was nothing wrong with it. What??? It does not have a low setting, I cannot use this burner and it is the largest one! Frigidaire uses a third party service, AE Factory Service in Texas. Im Im Maine, they have no idea who they are sending and they dont care. Also bought was a refrigerator, and the if maker is a nightmare. The service man said, I should never buy a refrigerator with an ice maker, they never work right. He didnt bother to try to fix it. Frigidaire does not care about their customers.

Dont buy Frigidaire, Electrolux, and sadly GE appliances (all one company now owned in Sweden). My Frigidaire side by side broke after less than 5 years and the only thing they will offer me after calling twice and speaking with a manager (first supervisors name was ** the second was **) both times is 50% off (not including shipping) a part needed when ordered through them after paying for a diagnostic visit of $78. After doing my research consumers should expect a fridge to last 10-15 years. This company only want to guarantee you that their $1,000-$3,000 product will last a year! After that they believe you should pay more to protect yourself from their poor quality and unreliable product as they will not stand behind and guarantee the quality.I think this is completely unacceptable and disgraceful. And the company could care less. I asked them to allow me a credit of $78 from what I would be paying the repair man quote, towards the part as I felt that would be more fair and they refused. So after paying over $1,000 for their product that failed in less than half its life expectancy they were unwilling to give me a credit of $78 with no remorse. Also while calling for service from local repair people I asked them from their experience who are the best and worst out there for refrigerators and they said best: Maytag and Whirlpool. Worst- Frigidaire/Electrolux /GE. Remember when you shop online and look at reviews- companies pay people to write great reviews but not to write bad ones. So take special note of the poor reviews. Consumer affairs has them as a 1 star company.

I’m posting my review to warn others. Frigidaire refused to post my review bc it may steer customers “away”. Ridiculous. My husband and I saved up for 10 years to do our kitchen remodel. We used the Frigidaire Pro Line for all of our appliances. I have never been more disappointed with a refrigerator. I chose this model because of the smudge proof finish. This is biggest mistake we made for our entire renovation! This fridge accepts magnets and so naturally we excitedly hung up our children’s artwork. In less than two weeks (after removing the artwork to dust the fridge face) I discovered that the ENTIRE front of it was scratched with fine scratches from the magnets. I am just sick over this! Nowhere in the manual does it say NOT to use magnets on the surface. Since it accepted magnets in the first place, we assumed that was considered normal and acceptable use of the fridge. The magnets I used were brand new and not rough! The surface of this unit is ridiculously easy to scratch! Had I have known this fact, I would have NEVER chosen this fridge. It was a giant purchase for us and now I have to live with it ugly and ruined. Also, I’m now embarrassed to show people my new kitchen because of it. My kitchen looks like “new kitchen, but old fridge”. The worst part for me is I didn’t even get to enjoy having what I thought would be the refrigerator of my dreams. It was ruined before I even got a chance to enjoy it. And now I can’t even enjoy my kitchen remodel that we waited years for, YEARS!Please do not waste your money like we did. Buy a regular stainless steel refrigerator instead and just get used to wiping off fingerprints, because at least they come off! My previous regular stainless steel fridge was over 10 years old and barely had a scratch on it. In comparison this expensive “pro” fridge can’t even operate in the simplest of function, to hold up a calendar and children’s artwork on the front of it, without becoming damaged.

We purchased over $4,000 of new appliances when we remodeled our kitchen in 2010. At the time, Frigidaire was the only company that produced a smudge proof stainless counter depth refrigerator. This is by far the worst buying decision I have ever made after buying appliances for 40 years. The dishwasher racks and the stainless front panel began to rust at 3 years old. The refrigerator never ever cooled properly causing to lose produce to freeze and spoil. The temperature constantly fluctuates, consequently, your temperature control does absolutely no good. If you lower the temperature to keep products like milk, butter, jellies, etc., at 37 degrees the produce compartments go below 32 degrees. We just paid a $430 repair bill for a new control board and we still have the same cooling issues. There is most definitely a design flaw with this refrigerator! The microwave had to be replaced due to failure. It simply stopped at 4 years old. The slide in stove has not caused any problems except for cleaning the glass top surface which requires more work than the floors. Everyone that reads this review should believe every word and please take my advice... STAY AWAY FROM FRIGIDAIRE!!!

In January/February of 2016 I bought a brand new unit from this despicable company Frigidaire. Keep in mind when I buy a refrigerator I intend for it to last at least 4 to 5 years before it starts to give problems unless there is a natural disaster. Earthquake, storm, etc... in less than 9 moths the fridge light doesnt work. I went to numerous stores to get a light bulb thinking that the light bulb in the fridge blew out. Home Depot, Lowe’s, Orchard, etc… 7 different light bulbs were purchased and tested on the fridge yet none of them worked, I went as far as going back to Lowe’s and getting the light bulb that was used in the model on the floor and tested it, that didnt work either. Later that day I called Frigidaire customer support and got the most rudest, ignorant, discussing person on the phone. While shes babbling on and on about how it is my fault and how the company she works for is sooooo great Im trying to tell her that theres no way in hell that I could have done anything to the fridge if the unit is working and cooling things. I explain to her that is a self defrost fridge and that there are only 2 people in the household. I hung up refusing to get yelled at by someone who won’t listen to anything I have to say. Around 15 min after I had hung up I went to the fridge (with my flashlight) to get some lemonade. As soon as the grub on my right pinky finger touched the fridge door handle it detached from the fridge. I sat there next to the door handle thinking to myself well this is complete madness. The light bulb doesnt work and the fridge handle is not latched correctly. This company really needs to start manufacturing decent unit. Mark my words, NEVER WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THE CRAP FRIGIDAIRE SUPPLIES TO YOU... PS. waiting for my 3rd repair guy to show up on Friday. Let’s see how that goes.

Purchased Frigidaire gas wall oven model FFGW2415QS Serial AF71303898 on 4/24/2017 at Home Depot. Oven stopped working 4/30/2018. Have contract with our gas co, they installed igniter. Stopped working 5/15/2019, another igniter installed 5/19, 2 months later stopped again, this time they installed Frigidaire igniter. Oven stopped working 6/30/20 another igniter installed 8/20, stopped again, installed a valve, 2 weeks later stopped again, another igniter. Stopped working 12/25 while cooking Xmas dinner. Had repair here today, they ordered wire & new panel. Advised if this doesn’t work contact mfg. I have called at least 15 times, sent 4 emails, only response I received was to purchase a new service contract! Today I chatted with a Christa, she wants service records which I called for already, however, I asked to chat with a manager. Brandi came on, she is manager of Digital Team, wants records of service calls. Understand, but to get sarcastic on chat. Seven (7) service calls in less than 3 years. Five during pandemic, that was reason why I tried to wait for service. The oven is not used every day, never in summer as grill is used for everything. Reason why calls are so high per Brandi not fully staffed due to covid. Meanwhile consumer has difficulty trying to address our problems.

Got my money plus I have not had a mechanical issue in over six years. No freon problems. Runs great. No motor issues or electrical - just keeps working. I have another that has never had a problem for over ten years. Frigidaire builds a great school unit. You never need to worry about breakdowns or cooling problems. You get years of hassle free performance. Many of the co on the market just don't compare. Looks good. Fits well in my home. Nice color and overall look. Dials and digitals are well placed and lit. Easy to use and run. It is just a good looking addition to my home. When I picked my unit there were many options. I picked Frigidaire right away. I have not had any problems with my Frigidaire unit. It runs well and I have not had a problem with the motor or electrical in over six years. I have not lost or had to charge any Freon in the six plus years.

In May 2015 we bought a brand new/just built home in RI. We bought 4 Frigidaire appliances for the kitchen (Microwave, Stove, Refrigerator, and dishwasher). In May 2016 I PAID Electrolux/Frigidaire to extend my warranty on the refrigerator. In the last week, Ive received multiple emails from Best Buy offering to extend my warranty on ALL this equipment. I called Electrolux/Frigidaire to clarify the status of the refrigerator, AND I dug into my files to find the 2016 agreement. To my shock, I discovered that the agreement I paid for in 2016 listed a completely different refrigerator, that THEIR records claimed Id bought from Lowes in 2014! Ive NEVER bought any appliance at Lowes, and in 2014 I lived in a completely different town and state than they had listed. This was DEMONSTRABLY THEIR DATA-CAPTURE PROBLEM. I wanted them to honor the warranty I PAID FOR and apply it to the correct appliance, the one that is actually standing in my kitchen now... The one I bought in 2015. THEN, I would have re-upped the contract, which was due to run out a month from now. THEY WOULD NOT DO THAT. Their only offer, return to me the pro-rated amount of my premium, which means probably 2 or 3 dollars. Meanwhile, IF my refrigerator had suffered a problem a month ago, or last year, I would NOT have been covered. In closing the data mistake could NOT have been made by me. It is literally impossible that I could have randomly invented model and serial numbers that match a refrigerator that is a different model, bought in a different year, from a different big box store. So, its demonstrably Electrolux/Frigidaire fault. And WHAT are they willing to do to make it right? NOTHING. ZERO. NADA. I shall never again buy: another Electrolux/Frigidaire product, or an extended warranty from ANY company. They are (Ill use the word again) DEMONSTRABLY a RIP-OFF!

I purchased a Frigidaire dishwasher on 10/9/2017. Installed on 10/6/2017. On 3/1/2019 it wouldnt pump out the water. Disassembled found impeller on pump was shattered (made of thin plastic). My last dishwasher lasted 21 years without a problem. It was a Maytag. No more Frigidaire for me. They were well respected in years gone by. I feel any appliance should last at least 7 years.

I bought a new Frigidaire dishwasher model FFCD2413UW at Lowes. Biggest mistake ever. Problem one, there is no mention anywhere about the fact that you must buy additional parts to install your dishwasher. This caused two 70 mile round trips. Problem two, The door on this dishwasher has no latch. With no latch to click to open it you must employ brute strength to open it.Problem 3, once you get this piece of junk open the door wont stay open. The problems here are numerous but the most aggravating is that when you open the door to load the dishwasher and pull the bottom rack out, the door starts shutting on its own sliding the rack back into the dishwasher. I have been employing a brick to hold the door down while I load the dishwasher. Problem 4, I thought my previous dishwasher was loud. This dishwasher drowns out every other noise by a mile. We have been setting it to come on later, it only has one setting for this, 4 hours. So now around 2 am the entire family meets in the kitchen to find out what the racket is about.

On the first week my freezer was leaking air so the gasket had to be reglued. Now, less than a year later, the handle of the refrigerator broke off. I was told it is cosmetic only, since the food is being cooled and frozen, so I have to pay $46 to have a new handle shipped to me. It will take 7 to 10 days to get it; meanwhile, my nails are breaking trying to open it. This refrigerator is very noisy also.

The following is a letter written in response of the poor quality of Frigidaire products purchased for my new home. This letter was uploaded 2 times via Frigidaires website contact us page and mailed via USPS and have had no response to any correspondence. (I have submitted this letter twice via your website and have had no response.)Upon building my new home in 2008, I purchased all Frigidaire Professional Series products for my new kitchen. Since moving in, I have had issues with each piece except the dishwasher (PLD4555RFC2). The double ovens (PLEB30T9FC) hinges squeak when I open or close the doors. The top ovens hinges were replaced during the warranty period, yet they have begun squeaking again. Moisture gets between the glass (an area I cannot open to clean) leaving behind water spots and dust when it dries. This obscures the view of the food I am cooking. No matter how clean I keep the oven, it always looks dirty when viewed through the glass. The microwave (PLMVZ169GCC) touch plate cover had scratches when it arrived and so it was replaced via the warranty.I purchased a full fridge (PLRU1778ES3) and freezer with ice maker (PLFU1778ES3) with the trim kit and gave the specification sheet to my cabinet maker to ensure a custom fit for the unit. The freezer has had frost issues because the door seal would not completely seal when closed. We were able to have the seal replaced during the warranty period as well. Now the refrigerator runs constantly on any setting during any season, but it cannot keep pace to chill food enough, even on the coldest setting. Milk seldom lasts to its expiration date. The compressor has been replaced and the Freon charged but it continues to run all day and all night. When the fridge does turn off--maybe once a week, provided it hasnt been opened for more than eight hours--it seems like something is wrong in the house because it is so quiet! Also when the fridge is off, the contents inside are covered in dripping condensation, which spoils our produce more expediently.Your recommended repair company has determined that it is not feasible to repair the unit because it has a Freon leak, which can only be remedied by overriding the refrigeration device and building a new device on the outside of the unit. Ultimately, a new refrigerator would be more feasible and cost-effective. I have called Frigidaire to inquire assistance for all the problems were are having. We have been informed that Frigidaire refuses to offer any solutions because our products are no longer under warranty. Since we made this purchase, you have changed the design of the full fridge and full freezer. To replace the refrigerator, we would need to replace the freezer and trim kit too! After five years in a brand new home, we are faced with spending $3200.00 on a new fridge and freezer unit. We purchased your top-of-the-line professional series appliances because we love to cook and entertain and we believed your sleek, well-designed appliances would assist us in this endeavor. Your fridge and freezer units are the centerpiece of our kitchen. We designed our entire kitchen, down to our drawer pulls, to match these units.Upon our endorsement of your products, friends and family have purchased several Frigidaire appliances for their homes. Now due to our loyalty to your brand, we would appreciate in-kind loyalty from you by helping us to remedy our lingering predicament. Could you please offer a resolution that will repair the aesthetics of our kitchen and thus endorse our faith in Frigidaire? We would appreciate your graciously offering an in-house credit toward the purchase of a replacement refrigerator, freezer, and trim kit for our home. Although the new appliances would no longer precisely match our current double oven, dishwasher, microwave, and drawer pulls, they would still be the centerpiece of our kitchen. Certainly this is a more pleasing solution than pairing a short Frigidaire freezer with a taller Frigidaire refrigerator below an empty hole where the trim kit no longer fits. Helping us to defray the cost of these appliances because you stand behind your name, would ensure continued fierce loyalty toward your brand. Thank You.

Ordered a replacement part from this company and they sent the wrong piece. Discovered a problem with the people they have in the ordering department. They do not listen to you, make promises they never keep and the supervisors go only by the reps notes so they intentionally do not put anything in those notes to protect themselves. Called three times for a return form and I was told I never called. Ordered my part from a small business and received it in one day. Terrible customer service.Bought Frigidaire refrigerator, stove and dishwasher for the new addition in 2014. Fridge burned out the motherboard 3 years later (used a 50 year old Sears Coldspot that still works for weeks). Ice maker has always had cubes that stick so it clunks till you pull out the cube. Hardly ever use it. The one time I did turn it on and didnt hear the clunking but when I opened the door I found the entire freezer frozen in a giant ice cube from top to bottom. The dishwasher has had a heat sensor burn out. Also the wash cycle would never advanced till our repairman (not a Frigidaire repairman) told us about a design flaw. You cant use the Hot Wash Cycle ever because it will never heat the water enough to advance out of the wash cycle. The oven door has slots so if you accidentally spill you have to take the entire door apart to clean. Will never buy this product again.

Customer service nightmare. I purchased all new kitchen appliances from Frigidaire back in October. My microwave has broken twice. That is not the good part though. They sent someone out to reinstall the new one and they told me that the screws didnt match up so they could not install it. This was 5 weeks ago. They gave me numbers to call. No one calls me back. I have had to contact Frigidaire who also offers no advice. The truth is that the nuts on top of the microwave are not attached and rolling around loose in the machine. So there is nothing for the bolts to screw into. I have explained this again and again and nobody there understands what nuts are or the purpose of them. Frigidaire cannot wrap their brains around that and keep telling me there is nothing more that they can do. I have had a defective microwave in my kitchen since. Now the imbeciles refuse to call or email me back. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND I WILL MAKE A POINT OF TELLING EVERYONE TO BEWARE.

My wife worked and saved for a LONG time because she wanted to upgrade the kitchen. Once she felt she had saved up enough, she went shopping for a houseful of appliances. She liked the Frigidaire Gallery line and the Affinity washer and dryer. In October of 2010, we took delivery of stainless gas range, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator along with new washer and dryer. The only good thing to be said about Frigidaire is the smudge-proof stainless is the real deal. Too bad its not worth the aggravation. I would rather clean the front of the fridge every day, than deal with this brand ever again. We have paid for extended service contracts on all of the appliances since 2010 and with good reason. The washer has been repaired at least 8 times. It also stinks inside quite often. There was a class action suit for this and all you get is a check for $50. We used it to buy vinegar to clean it periodically (the only thing that works). Dryer has been repaired at least 3 times, if not more. Dishwasher repaired once. Gas range did a weird thing where if you tried to light one burner, all the igniters would fire up. That took time for parts, but it was otherwise usable. The refrigerator, where to begin??? Constant noise and malfunctions with the ice maker. Also, it would never stop making ice, even after the ice bin was full. After five repairs, my wife convinced someone in customer service it was time to replace the fridge. Fridge number two had the same issue with the ice maker, it would never stop making ice. You know the bin is too full when water drips from the ice dispenser. In 2014, we moved and washer, dryer and fridge #2 came with us. My wife likes her appliances to match, so she bought a new Gallery gas range, microwave and dishwasher.Fridge #2 didnt make it far into 2015. Ice maker stopped making ice. Deemed un-repairable, enter fridge number 3. Fridge #3 also has the issue with never stopping ice production. The icemaker was replaced (they finally re-engineered it so they didnt have to bring you a new fridge every time the ice maker quit). #3 is a little noisier than 1 and 2, but tolerable. Also, the replacement ice maker never stops making ice... Two cubic foot microwave deemed un-repairable after just 2 years. They agreed to replace it, but they dont make a 2.0 anymore, we could get a 1.75 cubic foot. Ok, but that unit is cheaper than the one its replacing, are we getting money back? You guessed it, no. They will add 3 months to the original warranty - TAKE IT, YOULL NEED IT!!! We were without a microwave for six weeks while waiting for Frigidaire and Lowes to communicate with one another. As I am typing this, its been almost a week since weve been able to use the gas range after it filled our home with gas. The nice man from the gas company put a DANGER tag on it and shut the gas supply to it. Frigidaire service said someone would be out the next day to look at it, but weve been down that road many, many times and we knew no one would be out the next day. Called the service company and, sure enough, earliest appointment was two weeks out. Call Frigidaire back and said we cant be without a range for two weeks. They said they would escalate to scheduling team, I said, You need to authorize a replacement now. No, we only escalate. I need to talk to a manager. Get Angela on the phone, shes like a parrot and says the same things over and over again. She promised a call back with status the next day, never heard from her again. Called her and left messages twice, no response. If you are reading this and am wondering if my wife and I would recommend Frigidaire appliances... Wed ask you why would you want to do that to yourself? If you just have to have smudge-proof stainless, never be without the extended contracts. Never. Customer service has only gotten worse over the past eight years and my wife is truly regretting the decision to go with Frigidaire.

Refrigerator top freezer does not shut securely. I have replaced the gasket and that is more junk from Frigidaire. Stove, the oven does not work. Destroyed foil (Reynolds) then oven cleaner does not clean up only leaves more of a mess in bottom. I am soooo disappointed with these appliances. Im stuck with them now as too much time has passed. We needed a fully functional, energy efficient refrigerator for a tight spot in our small house, which we bought 15 years ago. We did not want bells and whistles like an ice machine, although this fridge does have the capacity for one, door water dispenser, alarms etc. These items are just more to break, need cleaning and cause problems. We bought the 14 Frigidaire and it has been wonderful. Interior is roomy for the size, electricity use is quite reasonable. It is easy to clean and the gasket has held up well. The small size means that we need to use up leftovers, don't have food waste, and keep it neat. The price was right. Should we need to replace it, we will look at the same brand.

My experience with my Frigidaire Gallery has not been a good one. I purchase a set and paid for extended warranty in 2011. Within my first year of my purchase I have had issues with the refrigerator and stove. The first refrigerator had a recall and I was given another one. Once I received the new one I had to call a tech through ACH a company that was referred by the insurance for any problems with the product. I was paying a monthly fee for the service that only resolved the issue temporarily. After paying for service that wasnt beneficial cost-wise, I canceled. The appliances are not good and doesnt withhold the value at all. I refuse to constantly pay for service on a product that is always in need of repair. As of now my ice maker is NOT working, the dishwasher is NOT working, two of the five burners are NOT working, and last but not least the microwave doesnt get warmer or cook. It just go through the motions of coming on.Im clearly NOT satisfied with the products and know there is nothing that can be done without paying a large amount of money to fix. I would probably come out better buying a whole new set and a different brand. This brand is NOT what it use to be! I am overwhelmed by the reviews. Never thought that this many people had problems and I wish I would have seen this before my purchase. What is even worse is no one had a good experience and the company dont care. What a RIPOFF!!! I cant even submit unless I check one star that I dont want to give. WOW.

I have had to call them out to adjust the doors. On the second trip I also pointed out the crisper drawers. The wheels are cracking and falling off. I was informed that those parts are not covered under my extended warranty. This was a very cheaply made refrigerator but an expensive one. It is so shoddily made. I only purchased this brand because the rest of the appliances were in the kitchen when we bought this house last year. Never again will I purchase one of their poorly manufactured refrigerator. If I want to fix it I would have to pay 187.00 I was told by the repair man. Its just over a year and half old. There are 2 people in the house over 60 so it was not abused. I have never in my 40 years have had a fridge repair. One fridge lasted over 20 years. Because it was a Whirlpool. Model Number FFHB2750TD Serial Number 4A91210068. Now I will go and post other reviews as well as file a BBB report.

CAS is knowingly selling defective merchandise and Frigidaire continues to sell defective product. Within hours of plugging in our new Frigidaire refrigerator it started making a ridiculously loud buzzer sound and would go off every couple of hours. >We found out CAS is aware of Frigidaires having this issue but continue to sell it; no warning. >CAS has a returns policy in place that doesnt allow returns of defective products. CAS removes themselves from customer responsibility and puts it on the manufacturer, the process is for you to have the manufacturer send a technician.... >No offer of refund or exchange. >We have asked for a refund every day and have been denied. >Provide minimal communication - email only; 1 call back and no CAS escalation process.>Leaves us, our kids, with no refrigerator 5 days and counting.

My range is 2 years old and have already had the bottom or the oven replaced 3 times because the porcelain on the bottom cracks, which then sends out a horrible smell and ruins your food. I receive no help from Frigidaire since it is out of its one year manufacture warranty even though the first time was only 4 months old. The Frigidaire company will not even talk to me. When I ask to speak to a manager, I am told their managers do not speak to consumers. My extended warranty is from Lowes; their service center only knows how to answer a question reading off a script. Now my electric board went out so again I go weeks without a oven. I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator on 5/31/14 (approximately 6 months ago) from Lowes. The refrigerator portion stopped cooling. I contacted the 1-800 number and I was instructed by recording to enter my zip code. I entered my zip code and was told by the same recording that they had no service providers in my area and I would have to call a 706 area code number. I dont live in the boonies. I live in Scottsdale, which is a suburb of Phoenix, AZ. I called the 706 number and had to wait on hold for 30 minutes before the call was answered. I was told that they dont have any service providers where I live (once again not in the boonies, right next to Phoenix). They would have someone call my by Monday (I called them on Wednesday) and would schedule a service call then. Who knows how long from Monday it will take them to come out. When I explained that time was of the essence due to the fact that I store insulin in my refrigerator, it was suggested that I purchase a industrial refrigerator. I suggested that Frigidaire manufacture a refrigerator that last longer than 6 months. I was then asked to take a survey. REALLY????

I bought my Frigidaire washer/dryer combo 30 years ago and with everyday use it has had absolutely no repairs. I just finished my 3rd load today and keep waiting for something to break down but it never does. Clothes come out clean and the dryer is fast and efficient. I will only buy Frigidaire in the future unless, of course, I'm in a nursing home.

I never write reviews but for this company I created an account just so I can write a review. I bought a Frigidaire appliance from Home Depot. Within 2 weeks a brand new fridge breaks. Find out there is only a 48 hour return policy. Had to spend over an hour calling Home Depot and Frigidaire to get it fixed. Had to call the repairman myself. They gave me a list of 6 repairman and only 1 actually still works for the company. Takes 3 days for them to look at it. Takes 7 days for them to order the part. Takes another week for them to come back and fix the fridge. The whole time the fridge does not work. What to do without another fridge? Had to buy another fridge since over 2 weeks. Worst company ever. Try calling their customer number and it takes forever to get through. WILL NEVER BUY A FRIGIDAIRE APPLIANCE EVER AGAIN. Model # BA63823131

I got a new house, and I and my wife went appliance shopping. We got sold on Frigidaire Professional series appliances (refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher). I gotta say ever since I had them, I have always had issues with them. You would think you spend over $3,000 on appliances and they would last over 4-5 years. First, the refrigerator started acting up, then 2 heating coils broke on the flat-top oven. The microwave shorted out, and my dishwasher control board caught fire and almost burned my house down (Thank God, I was up and smelled it.). I contacted Frigidaire, and they took no responsibility at all. They told me it would be a few weeks and I would get some info in the mail. Needless to say, I never received it; and a second call to Frigidaire has the same outcome. Being in the customer service field, I say Shame on Frigidaire. I share my horror story with every customer I can. Theres no accountability, respect, integrity, or servanthood on Frigidaires part. With the customer service I have received, I will never purchase another Frigidaire/Electrolux product. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. I will not be fooled again by Frigidaire products. They received my payment once but lost a potential lifetime customer. When I am asked by others on what appliances they should purchase and which company will stand by their products, Frigidaire/Electrolux will be the one I tell them to stay away from. Not only will the appliances malfunction prematurely, but they are a safety hazard in your home. At this point, I have no Frigidaire/Electrolux products in my home (Craigslist free ad with warnings). My wife and I both decided they are not worth keeping for family safety reasons.

I love my new Frigidaire range. It's simple and easy to use. The coil elements heat up quickly. The bottom element in the oven has a cover so the heat is more even and no hot spots. I love the fan in the back, it keeps oven temperature even and cooks the food more quickly. It's easy to clean and I like the digital clock and timer. It's pretty simple, pretty basic and works well!

Frigidaire appliances are the worst. We bought the Frigidaire Gallery series, all four major appliances - brand new from Appliance Factory Outlet. I will NEVER buy Frigidaire again and will not buy from Appliance Factor Outlet again. We paid extra to get the gallery series so fingerprints are less noticeable and apparently the extra money is only for that feature because the appliances have been nothing but trouble. Within 2 years we have had 7 repair calls on our refrigerator (ice machine not working, ice machine freezing/seizing up, doors not sealing, under drawer freezer ice build up, etc. etc. etc.). One time the complete cooling system went out and we had to throw out a bunch of food, of which they do not care about. Thank goodness we had the extended 10 year warranty or else we probably would have spent enough money to buy another refrigerator on service calls. Appliance Factory Outlet was less than helpful. They clearly had the attitude that its not their problem. They want the sale without any customer service. The warranty people (Brand Source) are irritated every time I have to place another repair call. I actually had Brand Source correct me after I said you guys have been out to my house a million times and she sarcastically said they told me that I have had only 7 repair calls. Unbelievable. Now we are 3 years into our new appliances and the dishwasher has broke 2 times. Unfortunately, we do not have the extended warranty on that. The oven also has had issues but suffice it to say - never buy Frigidaire appliances. I called the corporate office and they said you have to have 4 occurrences OF THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM before they will consider a replacement. I guess 7 or 8 calls on a brand new fridge isnt troublesome to them.

I purchase Frigidaire Gallery appliances in 2013 and did not purchase the extended warranty. I assume the appliances will go bad, my new stove of 4 years died, my refrigerator of 4 years got a ticking noise coming from it, dont know how long my dishwasher will last, dont use it every day like my other appliances. I would advised DO NOT BUY THESE PRODUCTS, THEY ARE NOT GOOD. Frigidaire knows this, that is why they will push customers to purchase a warranty. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE PRODUCTS FROM FRIGIDAIRE. Also I called customer service, and was told I should have purchase that warranty, so this tells me that is making substandard products, and not only do they make money on the product, they are making it on the warranties as well. We recently had our kitchen remodeled, and we felt we got a good deal on Frigidaire appliances. Now I know why. Weve had trouble with all three Frigidaire appliances: refrigerator, range and microwave. Our biggest problem and what makes me angry is that the microwave, out-of-the-box, was defective. The refrigerator was repaired; were going to find out about whether the range can be repaired later this week, but the microwave was irreparable. So, Frigidaire offered to give us a replacement (however, they have none of the model we purchased in stock and according to their representative, Agneka **, when they will have one is indeterminate). If I wait for a new microwave (which it appears may never happen, since I read indeterminate as discontinued), Frigidaire will pay for installation. My other option is for Frigidaire to buy-back the microwave at retail. This, according to Ms. **, is for the convenience of the customer and not Frigidaire policy (this is a clue to how basically non-consumer centered Frigidaire is). They will not, however, pay for installation of the microwave, even though the reason for an installation charge is their defective machine. As you can imagine, I have to go through a number of hoops before Frigidaire will send the buy-back check. Im guessing it will be three to five weeks before I see the check. In the meantime, I plan to buy a new microwave, but not from our original vendor and not from Frigidaire. Dont buy from Frigidaire, period.

In May 2013 I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery side by side refrigerator, model FGHC2331PF7. I recently noticed rust on the back of the unit by the ice maker. When I researched this problem I found out Frigidaire has been aware of this problem as the unit does not have sufficient insulation. I contacted customer service. After a week of emails and providing all information requested the rep led me to believe Frigidaire would be taking care of this problem and I needed to provide my available dates so a tech could diagnose and repair the appliance. Now I am being told they will not be taking care of this problem and I am on my own. We just bought a house that came with Frigidaire Gallery line refrigerator, and we werent sure what type water filters to buy. I called the 800 number listed on the filter housing to order more, thinking that would be the best way, to order straight from the company. In short, they sent the wrong type of filter. Their mistake, not mine, as they told me. Well... I was informed they would not refund my $86 for the incorrect order until 7 to 10 days after they had the first order picked up. It has now been almost a full MONTH and although they have had the filters in their warehouse for three weeks, I have yet to see the money returned to my credit card. Ive called repeatedly, and no one will do anything about it. They will do everything in their power to not transfer me to a manager. This is the Frigidaire/Electrolux policy on returns, and its horrible.Even the smallest Amazon retailer provides better customer service than this awful company. If youre thinking of buying a replacement part from them directly... DONT! If they make a mistake, youll be waiting a mighty long time to get your money back. I will absolutely never order from them again; and the whole experience has me thinking of a different brand when its time to replace our appliances.

There is nothing wrong with Frigidaire products. They make them to last. It is the consumers responsibility to take care of the product. I have all Frigidaire appliances and I havent had any issues. You have to change the water filter out in those fridges every 6 months. I have purchased extended warranties on all of my appliances just in case. These products are machine and man made. Nothing is guaranteed. When you purchase appliances we take risk. So instead of not buying the warranty, go ahead and purchase the warranty. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANYS BRANDS! I have a Frigidaire french door refrigerator that I bought new four years ago. I did not purchase the extended warranty and during the first year, I had at least two service calls for the unit not cooling. After the warranty period, the freezer would frost over and actually had ice build up inside the drawer that required I do a manual defrost.I came home from a trip and the temp in the refrigerator was at 67 degrees but the freezer was still working. The appliance repair tech that came to evaluate the unit said that both computers on the unit were not functioning and the repair was going to be ~ $500. He ordered the computers and when he came back, he pulled out the unit to check the freon and the back of the refrigerator was rusted. Its a known issue with Frigidaire and he called them to explain the issue so I filed a ticket to see what they would do for me. The options were that they would possibly replace it or pay a reasonable amount to me based on depreciation. I was told by the rep at the call center that the refrigerator was under a do not repair order so it should be repaired. After 10 days of waiting for the company to evaluate the unit, their final offer was a 25% rebate on another model. Ive been out several hundred dollars and am going to be out another $500 for computers on a unit that they know is defective or $1300 to replace the refrigerator. Im just going to bite the bullet and repair the thing vs. buying another piece of crap Frigidaire and be out approximately $1300 with the rebate that they offered. Really not good customer service that you admit the unit is defective and issue a do not repair order but dont back up your appliances. The builder put Frigidaire in my home, Stove, Microwave, Dishwasher but I guarantee you that as they fail, it wont be Frigidaire or any GE brand that will replace them. SHAME on YOU.

I would caution anyone any one who is considering purchasing a Frigidaire product. We purchased a complete Frigidaire Gallery stainless steel set of appliances for our kitchen. In 10 months, we have had issues with every single appliance. It first started with our fridge. The compressor was bad right when we received it. Our appliance vendor replaced it. Afterwards, it also started leaking water on our hardwood floors in our newly built custom house and spoiled all of our groceries. We called Frigidaire to file a complaint and also asked for a food credit to replace the $700 Costco trip we had just put in there. The response was basically, We dont really care and we dont do food credits anymore - read line 22 of your warranty.”When our appliance vendor finally replaced the fridge (what a battle this was), they gave us a free upgrade to a Frigidaire Professional series. Days after delivery, the fridge leaked a ton of water on the floors again. The repairman came and discovered a bad water valve and repaired it. A couple of months later, our microwave started arching. Talk about a scary and dangerous situation. We had yet another repairman out and he fixed it. While fixing it, he shared with us the philosophy of many appliance companies. They basically make cheap stuff and it needs to be fixed often. It’s a sad realization after you spend thousands on appliances. Just recently, we have had our gas range have a gas valve go bad and then our dishwasher flooded our kitchen due to a bad gasket. I have had to fight with the appliance vendor to get them to take our appliances back and allow us to get another line of them. It has been extremely frustrating. I dont even want to see the Frigidaire logo at this point and will never buy anything from them again. I would caution anyone who is considering Frigidaire. I wouldnt take something of theirs even if it was free.

We bought a new Frigidaire refrigerator/top freezer about 2 months ago. (Model FFTR2021QW1). The freezer shelf sags when I put as little as 2 pieces of meat on there. A sagging shelf means half the freezer space is lost. And when I tried filling my freezer like normal - with things evenly spaced - the whole thing nearly collapsed. The companys customer service rots. So far the answers we got were, and I quote: my mom has the same refrigerator (truthfully, I dont really care); so dont put anything on the shelf (really now! So why did I buy this size model refrigerator/freezer? Or maybe the shelf is just for illustrative purposes only?); and get this: its supposed to sag. (Huh? For what purpose?). Asked him to hold on so I could get some paper to write his name down. He hung up on me. I purchased a home that had all new appliances including a Frigidaire stain
I purchased a home that had all new appliances including a Frigidaire stainless steel refrigerator (Model FFTR1821QS), manufactured in April, 2015. Within 2 weeks of moving in, on 10/23/15, the refrigerator started making a loud groaning and clunking noise and was no longer cooling. Called Frigidaire and they scheduled a service call for over a week out with one of their contracted companies. The guy came out and determined that there were 3 parts that needed to be replaced, all of which were on backorder, so they likely wouldnt be available for weeks. I called Frigidaire again to figure out some kind of resolution and get a more accurate timeline for when the parts would be in and when the repair could be completed. They were not able to give me a timeline other than one of the parts needed is expected to arrive 1 week from today.I have now been without a refrigerator for 1 week and AT MINIMUM expecting to be without for another week, most likely much longer since the other 2 parts do not have an estimated arrival date at all. The person in the parts administration department was unable to do anything further and abdicated responsibility to the customer service department. When I called Customer Service, I expressed by frustration and stated that having to wait 3-4 weeks or more without a refrigerator is completely unacceptable. After being on hold for a while, the person came back and offered me 6 months of additional extended warranty on the refrigerator which does absolutely nothing for me today. I asked for the brand new refrigerator to be replaced or to be given some kind of compensation because it was obviously a defective model if this level of problems were happening so soon.I was told that a repair and offer of additional extended warranty was all that could be done. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was connected to Danielle, corporate manager, who gave me the same lines the other person did. I asked for a replacement or some other kind of compensation again and was told that the manufacturer warranty only covers parts and labor and not replacement and that Danielle, herself, would research the parts that are needed (for the 3rd or 4th time... apparently that should give me some kind of solace that another person will do the same thing that has already been done) and will give me a call next week with an update. If the parts arent there, they arent there.Theres nothing than can be done to expedite that process. I asked to speak with her supervisor and she refused to transfer me to anyone else. It is absolutely ridiculous how little regard Frigidaire has for their customers and their experience with their products. I will never purchase a Frigidaire product and will recommend that anyone I know steer clear of them as well.

The very first day that I used our new stove, the stovetop got scratched and the water that spilled on the stove went to a hard crust and will not come off. I called Appliance Canada for an exchange and was told that Frigidaire would not come to see the stove as this is cosmetic. I dont understand, I purchased a new stove and this should not happen after one or even 100 uses. Yes, it is cosmetic but why would I want a brand new stove with a ruined stove top. The stove, which I purchased 10 years ago looks better than the new stove. When I called Frigidaire, the customer service person (Michelle), was very rude and kept cutting me off. Again, she went off on it being cosmetic so it is not under warranty.I explained to her that the product was just bought and this happened after first use and got worse on second use. She again said that it is cosmetic and again I went on and said that they should back up their product. It is cosmetic but I have a ruined stove after 1st use and this should not happen with their product and if it does, they should look at it and fix the problem. Extremely upset.

The 24-inch gas wall ovens are not displayed in stores. So, I made my purchase online from Airport Home Appliances. The difference in the appearance of the oven online and in person was as different as night and day. The oven sits too far off the cabinet. Which did not show online. Unfortunately, the 2nd oven had the same issues. They did remove the oven from my home. I paid $1699.00 for this oven, not including taxes and installation. I bought a fridge with an ice maker in the fridge. For the first 8 months the ice maker made 120 to 150 small cubes of ice daily and worked to my satisfaction. Then the ice production dropped to about 40 to 50 cubes daily. After almost a dozen service calls the unit was replaced with a new fridge. For about 8 months the second unit worked as described in the manual making 120 to 150 small cubes in a 24 hour period. Again the ice production dropped to 30 to 40 cubes daily. This time after 3 service calls from 2 different companies I was told by Frigidaire that the unit is working properly and the ice maker is only a convenience and they have left me hanging with an ice maker that does not produce ice. The technician that came out said the ice maker temp was 28 degrees and too warm. Should be 9 degrees. There is a design flaw but instead of making good on it Frigidaire changed the specs and now it makes 30 to 40 ice cubes daily.

I bought my washer and dryer 2 years ago. I have always been a fan of Frigidaire. As matter of fact I have a stove and fridge that are Frigidaire are working fine. However our dryer heating element burned and not working no more. Called Frigidaire. They could not help us. Asks us to call a technician. Now the service to repair will be costing us close to 400$. Its a total joke. Now we bought these 2 years ago close to 2500$ and now I have to put 400$ for repair. I have a newborn of 3 weeks and we have lots of laundry to do and stuck debating about what to do. Its sad but Frigidaire lost a loyal client. I was a big believer but no longer. Never ever that I am purchasing Frigidaire anymore and my friends and family will hear from this. Poor customer service and products.

Bought this in July 2017. Tho is is the style that has the freezer in the bottom. The first thing that broke was the visual temp lights. They just quit working one day. Next, the freezer handle is falling off. Next, it states the water filter last so many gallons or replace every 6 months. We are retired, no children, no one but us two. We must spend $72.00 every 4 months. This is pure junk. I wish I had my old Kitchen Aide back.

Purchased 4 Frigidaire Gallery products when moving into my new home. After having it for 2 months and cooking on Thanksgiving I noticed the control panel on the back was starting to warp. I contacted Lowes and a representative said it should not be doing that and to contact Frigidaire. I contacted them and they stated that if it was from cooking it is not their problem. I told them I only had it 2 months and they should make a product that would not warp when cooking. They said they had other complaints about this but they could do nothing if it was from cooking. Believe that? I paid a lot of money for this stove and never had this problem with other stoves. They said if they come out and determine that it was from cooking they were going to charge me. I still cant believe what I heard. A reputable company would be more understanding and back up their products. Beware.

Brand new purchase refrigerator FGHB2866 12/16. Delivered 12/21. Out of the box ice maker does not work! Contacted seller. Told them I want a new refrigerator in working condition - they told me it is not Frigidaires policy to replace - still to contact frigidaire. Also brand new range - FGGF2058RFC - during operation of the oven the control knobs for the stove top get extremely hot due to vent placement directly underneath knobs - poorly designed - should not have to wear a mitt to turn knobs! Dishwasher DGCD2444SA1A out of the box - dent and scratch lower left hand door panel - not quality control. Products are made in Mexico, China etc. Not USA made. Frigidaire products are junk.

Purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator from Lowes in April 2016. Since then we have had the repairman out five times. First three times fridge made loud clicking noises, still does, was told it was normal even though we know better. Now for two times in a week, freezer went out. We are out $250 in food and no one cares. All he did was put a Styrofoam piece in fridge to regulate air, worked for less than a week. Got home from food shopping freezer is thawed out again. Cannot come out till Monday. We are told Frigidaire knows this model is a lemon but they continue to sell them as we are told because they have a warehouse full of them. Why would Lowes continue to sell these models knowing they are bad? Whatever happened to standing behind your product? I guess making money selling bad products is Frigidaires way of doing business these days... Buyer be warned.

New stove and the smell that comes off of it goes in to the food that I am trying to cook in the oven... Have ran it through a clean but it still smells and smokes. NEVER buy a Frigidaire stove. If I cant get rid of the smell in one more cleaning I will need to scrap the stove and get a different brand. They dont care as when I called they just said, Yes, it will smell for a while because of the oil etc. in the stove. Not good... Your eyes burn when it runs a clean and there isnt anything in the oven. I am just running another clean to burn off the crap... But it doesnt seem to be working. UNHEALTHY.

I recently remodeled my kitchen. I bought all the professional series Frigidaire appliances. I wish I had not done that. They were very expensive. I can not believe how cheaply made they are and feel as well. The appliances are not even 3 months old and yet I have had the service tech/company to my home 3 times already. Microwave will not heat. My refrigerator barely makes ice yet the cooling drawer freezes everything (This is a drawer inside the refrigerator that should keep things a little colder than the rest of the refrigerator). I have had to throw out vegetables and other food as it freezes everything. The dishwasher racks are so flimsy... I get nervous that it will not be able to hold the weight of dishes or glasses that I put on them. I would love to have my reliable old appliances back that did not cost me a fortune. I would not recommend buying anything Frigidaire. I would recommend GE profile and or Kenmore. Never ever had a problem with these reliable brands.

We bought all new Frigidaire appliances when moving into our new home 7 years ago. The first to go was the Dishwasher about 2 years ago due to leaking. We just discovered ice forming on the back of our Refrigerator then suddenly the ice maker stopped working. We can access water from the door still but the whole back of the Refrigerator is rusting out due to the ice formation and we have to buy new Refrigerator now. They offered us $500 toward a new one but will never buy from Frigidaire again. The Gas Stove is not holding up well either as the coating is peeling away from the control panel looks terrible. I am writing this now because I just discovered our Electrolux Dryer (made by Frigidaire) is also broken - on Normal setting it is stuck on Air Dry. I have seen 30 year old appliances that look better and still work. WARNING. DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE.

We manage a few properties and at one point ordered a few Frigidaire refrigerators. Three of them never worked upon arrival. I was thankfully able to get two of them replaced after several calls with the distributor because frigidaire refused. It has been a year and I still cannot get the third one fixed or replaced. I have had numerous calls dropped with their customer service, countless promises to have the item fixed, and even more promises that they would bring the needed parts to fix it the next time. I will NEVER purchase one of their products again for the sheer sake of how atrocious their customer service is. I hope you should never have to call their customer service, because after waiting on hold for a minimum of 30 minutes (there is no call back option), you will likely get someone who you have to re-explain the entire scenario to, they will still not understand, and your problem will still not get resolved. At this point Im likely to just throw away this refrigerator instead of wasting more time trying to get them to fix it. I was just on the phone for over an hour, they refused to give me a manager and the call surprisingly dropped. This has happened a number of times before when I have had issues and I never received a call back. 0/10 would recommend.

Has made my summer very comfortable and relaxing without having to worry about the heat. The air conditioner runs cold and is an extremely great product. Will always stick with this brand. The performance of the air conditioner is extremely well. It has multiple settings to help improve a better experience for those hot summer days. It has a great look to it as well as being easy to use. White in color, multiple settings, easy to see buttons, clear writing as well as big buttons. I haven't had any problems with this product. It has been very reliable, the filter has stayed very clean throughout the summer without having to be cleaned or replaced. It turns on no problems and cools down a room extremely quickly.

I purchased this refrigerator in April of 2010, now 4 years later it has stopped working. Earlier this year I was concerned about temperature fluctuations but they always went back to normal in a few hours. I have dropped a can of soda in the refrigerator and it cracked the inside. The drawers have been very difficult to maneuver resulting in some breakage there also. Seems like very inferior materials used. The only advice I received was to place some tape over the crack. I have seen this recommendation in other comments regarding these refrigerators. Very unhappy overall with this product, cracking, breaking, temperature fluctuations and now a breakdown (BTW this happened the week before Christmas for which I was going to cook). These appliances are only 15 months old and Ive had numerous problems with them and Id like to warn others about them and encourage them not to buy them. After being married for 49 years we had all new matching appliances and I was thrilled! But these appliances have been nothing but problems... Before the warranty was up, I had to have 4 or 5 service calls on the refrigerator. The first time I tried to clean my self-cleaning oven, the glass in the door shattered and I was left without an oven for about 2 weeks before they got it fixed, and was told by the service man that it really isnt good to use the self clean feature because it could damage parts in the stove. Now about a month ago my dishwasher just stopped working! Now Frigidaire did agree to cover the cost of the repair since it was only 14 months old, but only because I really put up a fight, but now a month later Im still without a working dishwasher! Service man came out yesterday and it seemed to work because I cleaned it because it had been sitting for 2 weeks and I wanted it clean before I washed dishes. After dinner last night I loaded it up and started it and about 3 hours later, my husband and I were in the living room watching tv, and it started making noises. I checked to see if the dishes were clean and they werent so I called service again and now its going to be another 5 to 7 business days before they can even get the part! Im just thoroughly disgusted and I want to warn others about it..

Weve had this oven for four months now. It takes 30-40 minutes to preheat (to 350 or 400 degrees). The stench of resin from assembly, that the instructions promised would go away after a couple of uses, has still not gone away after 30+ uses. The racks for the oven are too narrow (or the walls of the oven are warped/poorly made). If you set a medium size casserole dish on the racks (with food in it)... the rack can fall out of its supports. I keep thinking to myself; how long have manufacturers been making ovens? Is it really that hard to provide an appliance this simple without design, manufacturing, and quality control flaws?

I purchased a Frigidaire stove oven combo from Lowe’s. Within 3 weeks, we realized with the oven set at only $350, it made the top front of the unit so hot it would burn. Upon calling Lowe’s, they suggested we call the service number for the manufacturer. I was on hold for so long. When I finally got help, they told me it was normal that the oven vented there. The other vent is back by the left burner. However, that area never got hot. So she said the warmer top front was within the manufacturing guidelines. I asked if they would just send out a repair man to verify nothing was wrong. She refused and said I would have to pay for any call myself. If I had little children, having this unit in their home would have been considered abuse. Here I am only two years later and last night when setting the oven at 425 it began burning and smoked out the entire kitchen. Never buy Electrolux products either as they own Frigidaire. And yes I tried to contact their customer service for help and that number was disconnected!

My husband and I purchased all new Frigidaire Gallery Appliances on 3-22-2014. On August 5, 2018 the compressor went out on the refrigerator with no warning at all. It had not been running warm, it was not making any noises, the freezer just shot up to 34 degrees and the next morning the refrigerator was at 59 degrees. This is at minimum an $800.00 repair. We did not purchase the extended warranty, it would have been past the time of use anyway. In speaking to customer service at Frigidaire their only response was they will make note of my dissatisfaction with the product she also commented had I purchased the warranty this would have been covered since you have up to 13 years after you buy a product from Frigidaire to get one. Clearly, this company does not care about customer service or making a top notch appliance. The dishwasher died after months requiring a $275.00 repair. My fridge has not worked since I purchased it in March. It is under warranty and Frigidaire keeps sending people here to look at it. As a result, we had to purchase another fridge (we didnt get another Frigidaire) in the meantime while we worked on replacing this one. The repairman deemed my fridge dead twice and it still wasnt enough for them to replace it. The repairman has been to my house about twice a month since March. As a result, they are now replacing three parts in a brand new fridge to attempt to fix it because yet again, they refuse to replace a brand new fridge even though its under warranty. I have called and left multiple messages on voicemails and have not received a callback. However, in their notes, they have that they called and left me voicemails (which is not true at all). This has been a very frustrating process. The parts to my fridge were suppose to be ordered three weeks ago and when I just called, they were not even ordered yet. Sharon, one of the corp. supervisors, was very helpful and said she would overnight them to repair company. Hopefully, this nightmare ends soon but I am not confident it will. What the hell happened to this company? Their customer service sucks. I wish Id read YELP before buying a Frigidaire Refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher. 3 months after buying my new appliances the fridge stopped working properly. It would fluctuate between being too cold, and not cold enough. First repairman came out and said it could be a number of things, so he ordered them to be delivered to my house and scheduled an appointment. I waited all day with no contact or repairman showing up.I called in. First I called the serviceman, no answer. Next called Electrolux 844 number and waited on hold for 40 minutes listening to someone telling me the call would be answered by the next, blah, blah, blah. Then I hung up and called back... 20 minutes later they still didn’t answer so I called Frigidaire. A woman answered and told me one part was backordered, and they had attempted to call me Nov. 30th. Well that was a lie...no one called. I asked to speak to her supervisor and was put on hold for another 20 minutes. At that time I hung up and called back. The next agent said that no one had tried to call. So, now I find out that they knew the part wasn’t available but didn’t attempt to call me... The first woman had lied trying to make the fact that no one showed (when I took the day off) my fault. I insisted on speaking to a supervisor who said they are now attempting to find the part from another supplier and will call me to schedule a time once they locate it. Ill patiently sit here holding my breath. Frigidaire is an inexpensive brand... Now I know why. Spend a little more and get a better product with a company that has better service.

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator in Oct 14 for my man cave. The reason was for the ice. The ice maker has frozen up on me 3 times, April 15 (under warranty), April 16 and the last time December 16. I paid to have it repaired in April 16. So after the third time I thought I would try the factory again, yea right. Was just told that it is not unusual for this to happen and as far as they were concerned, the product is out of warranty. We have a GE Profile at the house that is approximately 9 years old and have never had a problem. I need the ice so I think I will go get another GE refrigerator and set this one on the curb with a FREE sign on it. I will also start telling everyone I know or dont know, as I walk down the aisle at Lowes, that you really dont want to be purchasing this product because if you read the other reviews, Frigidaire should be recalling this model of refrigerator.

I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator back in November 2011. It had the refrigerator on top and the freezer drawer was on the bottom. The Icemaker that dispensed ice was up in the freezer section. I found a couple weeks ago after pulling the refrigerator out to investigate something that there was a chunk of ice that had eaten its way through the back of the refrigerator and was rusting up all around it. When the repairman came out, he said it was a common defect found with this model (#FGHB2844LF7) because Frigidaire had not put any sealant around the ice maker so the air from the fridge was making direct contact with the air in the ice maker and was causing ice buildup in the ice maker which built up over time. The result was that the build up of ice ate a hole through the back of the refrigerator and that it was losing efficiency. The worst part was that as the ice would melt and drip down over time, it was slowly working into the wood floor and causing it to warp. If you have this product, I would look into this to ensure you dont have the issue. The repairman said this product should have been recalled years ago.

I purchased a Frigidaire washer and dryer in July of 2015. Almost immediately I need service due to the washer leaking, not filling up with water properly and the dryer would not dry the clothes completely. Since then, I have had 11 separate service calls on the units. Each time, there is a 4 hour window for service which requires me to be off work. They have replaced every part on the washer and most computerized parts on the dryer. Now, the washer has the same problem that caused the original service call. I have made numerous calls to the customer service line and always get the same response. Customer service say they are meeting to decide how to proceed and promise a return call. They never do. I have to call them, start the entire conversation history over with another customer service rep.We are now in June of 2016. I may have had 2 weeks of continual usage of the washer and dryer until the next problem with the machines occur. I have asked them to recognize that they sold me a defective product and to stop trying to fix the unfixable and send me a new machine. I have explained to them that my unit got by their quality control department and that they sold me a lemon, a machine that obviously does not work as intended. Of course, the warranty will expire in July and they will then have no obligation to fix (joke) the units. If this was a automobile, it would be recalled. If this was medical care, it would be malpractice. You would think a company of this size would realize that they sold me a bad product and make it right.Today I emailed the CEO Jonas Samuelson with my complaints. Hoping but with major doubts I will hear back. Buyers, beware of this company and good luck dealing with their lack of customer service. PS: I still have no washer and dryer going on 30 days from the last service call. Apparently, they are waiting for parts to arrive. Guess they never heard of USPS or UPS overnight shipping.

Frigidaire Refrigerator Prof SXS - Never Again. Worst purchase ever made! This was a lemon from the get go but Frigidaire does not replace - they just continue to put on bandages. Every year since I have owned this piece of junk I have had to have it serviced at least once a year. I have paid over $600 for extended warranties thinking that eventually everything would be fixed. Boy was I wrong. Now it is leaking water (not from ice or water dispenser) but randomly down the right side of the unit even with the water spigot to the frig turned off. Two service calls later they still dont know whats wrong and in the mean time I have warped hardware floors (2nd time this frig has leaked) and no resolution. The only thing this refrigerator is good is displaying magnets. Once this years warranty runs out, this frig it out of here... and no more Frigidaire/Electrolux for me!

Just a bit over a year old and the oven wont turn off after use. Had to reset household circuit breaker. The stove top seems to have a different grade than my last 2 flattop stove top... Extremely hard to clean.

I purchased a Frigidaire Professional Refrigerator in Aug 2015. Since then, I have had the same issue over and over again. The bottom ice maker will work once it is replaced for about a day or two then it stops. This is still going on today 01/30/2017. They have made several major repairs to the unit. Nothing has worked 100%. All the company seems to want to do is replace the bottom ice maker. It is clear that the issue isnt the ice maker. A tech just came out this past Monday and replaced the compressor in the refrigerator and he put a new ice maker in as well. After 1 day, the ice maker stopped working again. I called the Lowes warranty department and they said unless a repairman deems the unit irreparable the ice maker doesnt qualify us for a replacement. It was on factory warranty for 1 year. They also told me that those repairs do not count under the extended warranty. So it is like starting over all over again. My husband believes that they are trying to ride this out until we either give up or the warranty runs out. The current repair company has been out 6 times and 7 will be Monday 02/06/2017. Based on the information I have received from the repair company they have not gotten paid because the issue still exist. I have no control over that. I have been in constant contact with the repair company talking with them concerning this issue. I have been very cooperative and understanding. This whole issue is way out of control and the company doesnt seem to care about the customers or the products that they sell.I would never purchase another Frigidaire Product again. This one was my first. It will certainly be my last. I have been very unhappy and dissatisfied with the products performance and the customer service. I would very much like for an attorney to contact me over this issue.

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator model #LFHG225ITF3 in May of 2019. In December the ice maker stopped working. I replaced the filter and an external line filter and it still didnt function so I called service. A young man all of 20 years old if that showed up and looked in the freezer. He then proceeded to make a phone call and made the repair by getting instructions by whomever he was speaking to. He said, OK its fixed and left. 24 hours later still no ice. I called the repair line again and demanded a different service company. The next company showed up and again a young man got on the phone with someone. He declared that the ice maker had to be replaced. By a diagnosis over the phone. That was 2 weeks ago. I just called service again and got a complete runaround. She called the company that was supposed to order the part and replace it and got their answering machine. When I told her I could have had the part in my hand in 24 hours if I had ordered it from Amazon she just kept repeating her script over and over. I told her I want a new refrigerator if the people that they have servicing their appliances cant even replace an ice maker. I cant have one, she said, because the unit has not been deemed unrepairable. So if I dont hear back within 24 hours she will send out a third company. To waste a third day of mine waiting for them to show up and potentially not fix the unit. This game, according to the representative, could go on and on until someone can fix it. Bottom line, be very worried about getting a problem solved by Frigidaire. I have never experienced such nonsense. They are subcontracting with the worst of the worst to service your expensive purchase. Buyer beware!

This has been a terrible purchase, screws stripped in dishwasher and replaced the dishwasher with one that gets so hot it melts the silverware holder in the dish washer and screws still stripped. The oven not beep when food done. Only two products without problems has been the refrigerator and dishwasher. Crossing my fingers.

I purchased an over the stove microwave 2.5 years ago for under $350. It has worked well but the glass turntable was broken on our granite counter top. The cost for a replacement it $140! I have found that Frigidaire not only offers very poor quality products but poorly designed ones also. I will never again purchase anything from Frigidaire or Electrolux.

I purchase a Washer and Dryer in Dec-2008 with extended warranty from Sears. Last year Electrolux / Frigidaire sent me a letter to purchase an extended warranty for two years if I wish. I had call them and purchase the warranty. I called them in May-2016 to check my unit for noise. They sent a tech who says nothing wrong. Few days later I received a call from their Customer service to verify my SN since the one they have under contract is not matching. I did and sure enough they have a different serial number on the contract. Now they want to cancel the contract and have me purchase a new contract and pay for the service call. They also said that I should have verified the serial number on the new offer that came from their company and it is my mistake. A corporation like Frigidaire should be more organized and can fix this type of issues and not pointing to consumer. I spent more than 6 hours on the phone trying to work with multiple customer service Managers with no solution. It seems that they just want to steal your Money and not do any service.

Its systems are super easy to maintain and clean. Very cold air is produced and it's very quiet compared to other products. It's also very affordable and space saving on certain units. It has been great overall. Product quiet and effective. Not much water waste either for those who don't like to waste. I enjoy it a lot after a hard day of hot work. Cool, sleek design on some products. They're very edgy and give a home or business that extra touch that makes it seem more modern and beautiful. It has never given me any trouble in almost 3 years. Best investment of my life. I just clean it externally and let it rest for a few hours a day. Other than that nothing needs to be done.

Remodeled my kitchen less than 3 years ago purchasing all new appliances, range, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave oven, all purchased, delivered and installed on the same day. About 3 months ago I started having trouble with dishwasher whereas all lights on panel lit up and would not go off. Followed instructions to reset same result an error code stating that the control board was bad, mind you weve only used this dishwasher roughly 12 times since purchase or 4 times a year during holidays. I have posted complaints and placed phone calls with zero response. The holidays are here and I am unable to use my dishwasher which just makes it an unusable brick in my kitchen. Additionally my refrigerator is not working properly either. It wont hold temperature, the filter leaks and seems to ice up everything. Ive reset a number of times after which is the only time it works properly for a few days then back to chaos freezing everything on both sides. Im really hoping planned obsolescence lasts longer than 2.5 years. In the meantime, I dont feel that I should be needing a new dishwasher after only 12 uses of that. Ive also heard there may be a recall on my machine, but I dont know, because no one responds! Can someone please get back to us?

I purchased the Fridigaire Professional series in 2010 and within a few months, the motherboard on the stove had to be replaced. It would set off an alarm every Saturday about 1 a.m. that could only be stopped by unplugging the stove. Now, one year later, we cant turn the stove off with the cancel button using the touchpad on the stove. The repairman left me the original defective motherboard saying I might need it in the future. In hindsight, Id say he knew well the defects of these appliances.

Updated on 05/27/2020: This is an update to a post of an original review July 18, 2019 on the Frigidaire FFAD5033R1 dehumidifier. I did receive a replacement unit from Electrolux later in the summer of 2019. I was surprised as it just showed up in a box at my door. I used the dehumidifier the rest of summer 2019 with no issues. It is now almost June of 2020 and Ive powered it up for the summer. I am very disappointed to say that its already displaying the FO error code. Not even a full summer of use to this point. Ive sent the required information to Electrolux, again. I dont understand why they dont fix whatever the issue is with these dehumidifiers, or totally scrap the design and start over.Original Review: I purchased dehumidifier in 2017, used for that summer and 2018. Turned on in 2019 and found that refrigerant had leaked out, due to rust all over evaporator coil. This explained a reddish color in water when I dumped the tank. I didnt see the rust until I removed the back cover to inspect. I contacted Customer Service. They send a form and instructions to complete for unit replacement. I complied, but its been 50 days and response. This unit was obviously rusting from the day I purchased. Ive seen other complaints with pictures showing the exact same issue that I had. The design is faulty and Frigidaire no doubt knows this, but assumes it will be out of warranty by the time it totally fails. This was the last Frigidaire product I will ever own. Buyer beware! If you do take a chance, you should probably remove whatever covers you can and inspect as soon as you get it home.

I cannot believe this company. We bought all Frigidaire appliances for our new home. After 4 weeks our refrigerator needed to be fixed. Now one month after our warranty ran out the motor in our dishwasher burnt out and set a fire inside it. We contacted Frigidaire about this and were told that they would cover the parts, which is the entire machine, but will not cover a new machine (which we were happy with at first) until we were informed by 2 separate repair companies that it is impossible to fix. We again contacted the company and were basically told better luck next time. Shame on this companys customer service.

My husband and I purchased new Frigidaire appliances for our daughter a few years ago. She went to Lowes and chose the Frigidaire refrigerator, dishwasher and electric range with the finish that looks like stainless steel. The electric range stopped working as soon as the one year warranty expired. My daughter called a licensed repairman who came back three times, replacing the heating element and some type of circuit board. Within a few weeks, the oven stopped working again. Every now and then it would suddenly start working again, but eventually catch on fire. My daughters husband has installed new heating elements twice, (they couldnt afford to keep calling a repairman) but the oven and stovetop worked for a while, go out, work again and then the element catches on fire. Both my daughter and I have contacted Frigidaire (Electrolux) customer service and have gotten a complete runaround. Their position is that unless there is an official recall they will do nothing. A week ago the oven caught fire again and I told my daughter not to waste any more money to have it repaired. My husband and I are going to buy her a new range, but I can promise you it will not be a Frigidaire product and I want to warn other people to avoid them as well.

2015 we bought all new Frigidaire appliances. Very disappointed. Refrigerator back Iced up and rusted out. Frigidaires fix was to put a 1 and 1/4 thick foam on the back of the frig. Now the fridge sticks out even further from the wall, I wouldnt be able to see if it were iced over with the foam on the back, and the ice machine hasnt worked the same since the repair. Our double oven burns food on the edges. Frigidaire put one of the largest burners towards the back so that the heat from the burner melts the face of the control board. Had it replaced once already and it is melted again. Our Dishwasher wont work on all the setting. If we select Power wash, we end up with water all over the floor. We get constant power failures also. If I could give a zero rating I would. Im surprised this company hasnt been sued. Last I spoke to Frigidaire, I was told that they could help me find a service provider and that once I pot them to fix the issue, they could then offer me an extended warranty. Seriously???

My parents redid our kitchen about 5 years ago. They picked Frigidaire Gallery (microwave/gas stove) Amana fridge. Just over the 5 years we have had to get all appliances fixed, some multiple times. Within two weeks (about a month ago) the Amana fridge stopped cooling, the problem was a clogged tube, easy fix. Then our gas oven would not heat. A GAS OVEN! (had a 50 yr gas oven when we bought house = no problem) Shortly after that, the right front burner needs a new part (sparker). The microwave has broken multiple times. It now doesnt work at all. Overall it has cost about $1,300. I will say it does pay to buy the higher end appliances. For example, the Frigidaire professional dishwasher has had no issues - thus far.

I bought Frigidaire upright freezer (m# FFFU20F2VW) 9 months ago. It died last week. Service man came out and said this happens a lot with these (model? brand?). He said that Frigidaire should cover THIS repair. but with the same part number as what just failed? So in 9 months it will be another $400? Frigidaire is giving me a lot of double talk and telling me to pay for insurance. $200. Adding up fast. Dont know if there IS a good brand out there, but it obviously is NOT Frigidaire.
