I purchased the fridge a year ago June 2019. Within 2 weeks started freezing food. In one year I’ve called 6 times, they ignored 2 messages, they have replaced same part 3 times last time in June 2020. Within 2 weeks started freezing food again. Called told me I was out of warranty. I said no warranty was extended another 6 months. I got hung up on. Wrote review on Frigidaire website and they responded with this.... Hello, Thanks for bringing your concerns to our attention. We apologize for any matters you have experienced due to your refrigerator not working properly. We would love to make sure this matter is resolved. Be on the lookout for an email from us shortly.Bianca.... Now July 23 and no word! Fridge still freezing my food and they have refused to replace fridge! $2000+ dollars down the drain! Don’t buy Frigidaire crap made in Mexico!

I bought a Frigidaire Dishwasher (Model: FDB4315LFC2) and a Frigidaire Smooth Top Range Oven (Model: FEFL79HCB) from Lowes in 2008. Now, in 2011, three years later, my Frigidaire Dishwasher is showing an Error Code ER and S and will not work. My Frigidaire Smooth Top Range Oven makes an unbelievably loud noise as the oven warms up. It also heats very unevenly and untrue to the temperature dialed in. I get boiling liquid on simmer. I also have stained glass on the inside of the oven door that cant be cleaned without taking apart the door.

I bought a Frigidaire front load washer, and have had problems right from the start, so we had gotten a extended warranty through Frigidaire, and have had problem after problem (serviced at least 7 times in 3 1/2 years), and told from a Manager at customer service Jennifer that not only will they not replace this lemon of a washer, but are not responsible for the horrible service men they send out to my home, the first one General key Stone tried to lie and say it was something I put in my washer causing the problem to the company, but told me different, and found out from another service man that he just lied cause it was a hard to get to piece he had to replace, and then that service man who came back several times hit a valve and caused my basement to somewhat flood with this rusted water from a old pipe that was not being used, and brand new towels were ruined, along with a throw rug. You also have to wait for the servicemen to come, (and take off from work these days, and pay for wash to be cleaned while waiting), and then wait at least a week or 2 or 3 for the parts, and then another week for the repair Apt. This company is of no help. Do not buy anything from Frigidaire including any service contract. Youre better off just buying a new machine from a good company like Whirlpool. Will never purchase anything from Frigidaire again.

I purchased Frigidaire Gallery appliances for my new kitchen in 2016. The dishwasher stopped working last January after the extended warranty I purchased had expired. The repairman said the motherboard was burned up. He replaced it, and the cost was around $400. Today it stopped working again. Do not buy Frigidaire, even if the price is tempting. Piece of junk! Getting another brand.

First let me say that Frigidaire replaced my top mount refrigerator Freezer because it was a lemon. To sweeten the deal they sent me 2 new water filters. Water Filters last 6 months. Time has passed and it is time to change the water filter (6 months). I open the package to find the filters they sent me are the wrong ones. I call to explain that they sent the wrong filters. They explain that there is only a 90 day return policy. Why would I open an item before I needed it? Needless to say these babies are going up on eBay and I will purchase OEM filters. This is a policy they did not think out.

I purchased a Frigidaire Professional double wall oven (model FPET3085KFA, serial number NF93005455) in August 2009. Over the next 4 years I have had to have it fixed 3 times for a total cost of $941. The following parts went bad: 1) Top blower (part 318073028) and thermal fuse (part 318004902); 2) Burned up heating element plug and relay circuit board (part 316443911); 3) top oven bottom heating element (part 318604604). This oven gets normal residential use only, approximately 1 hr of use per day.

I upgraded my kitchen with a new 4 piece silver, grey mist Frigidaire appliances. I was told that Frigidaire was the best. My previous appliance was Frigidaire. I had no problem with them. My refrigerator broke within a 1.5 years. I was awaken by my smoke detector @ 4:30 am on 10/11/14. My kitchen was completely filled with smoke and a burning smell. After searching for what was burning, I saw smoke coming from the back of my fridge; so scary. I have NEVER had a problem with a NEW appliance before this issue. Called Frigidaire and was given no sympathy or empathy. I was told it no longer under warranty and that I should purchase an extended warranty after I have the problem fixed. The parts on my American made appliances were shown as made in Mexico. Very Strange. I could not see paying $1000s for appliances then paying $800 to get a NEW appliance fixed. My heart was broken. After 2 weeks with no fridge, they agreed to pay for the parts, but the labor and service call was well over $300. Frigidaire need to work on their Customer Service Dept. I was hung up on several times, after being on hold for 30 minutes, my call was placed back into the cue, I was given misinformation, the list goes on and on. I just cant believe a company that I thought was so upstanding, turned out to be very disgraceful. I can no longer tell my friends and family to purchase any Frigidaire appliances. Yes, it looks great, but thats about it. :-( I have receipts, documentation, names and dates to back up every thing I have said, which is entirely true.

Weve had this oven for four months now. It takes 30-40 minutes to preheat (to 350 or 400 degrees). The stench of resin from assembly, that the instructions promised would go away after a couple of uses, has still not gone away after 30+ uses. The racks for the oven are too narrow (or the walls of the oven are warped/poorly made). If you set a medium size casserole dish on the racks (with food in it)... the rack can fall out of its supports. I keep thinking to myself; how long have manufacturers been making ovens? Is it really that hard to provide an appliance this simple without design, manufacturing, and quality control flaws?

I purchased a Frigidaire microwave on November 2018, October of 2019. The microwave rack caught on fire. I filed a claim with Frigidaire. They sent a technician to my home who never opened the panel. He sprayed it with spray paint changed the hook. The microwave now knocks the power out in my kitchen. I spoke to a corporate supervisor who sent another technician out who was very rude, stated he was not working behind another technician, he should have done the job right the first time and he left my home. I called the supervisor back, she sent another technician out. He opened the microwave, took pictures, referred back to his phone and it still doesn’t work. He stated it may have to be taken back to the shop. He left without the microwave. I called his office back and was told he ordered more parts which was not what he stated to me. I called the supervisor back and she stated that she would need to send another technician out. I explained how angry I am at this point. I feel that no one not even the corporate supervisor cared about me or my families safety are danger. And I will never purchase another Frigidaire product and I will be sharing my experience with everyone who I know and more. Anytime the corporate Supervisor told me to take the microwave back to Home Depot and they would have to take it back once they hear my frustration is said, not only did she lie she knew she was brushing me off. Still unresolved. Truly dissatisfied former customer.

Have had issue with Frigidaire gallery, food in the top compartment freezes! After many phone calls, numerous service calls, parts replaced, their solution is to move shelves around! Wasted way too much time trying to resolve this issue. I was actually told by someone on phone at some point that things do freeze on top shelf???? Would not recommend their appliances. Problem started under original warranty and I stupidly purchased another 2 yr contract. Waste of money.

I hardly ever write reviews, particularly if I am dissatisfied with a product or service. Ive always figured a mental note to steer clear of further patronizing a particular establishment or buying a product were enough for my personal satisfaction. However, my experience with purchasing a Frigidaire stove from Colders (333 S 108th St, Milwaukee, WI 53214) warrants a stern warning to other consumers TO BEWARE... I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE ANY CONSUMER anticipating doing business with COLDERS or purchasing a FRIGIDAIRE appliance.First off, I bought a Frigidaire stove and refrigerator from Colders in October 2016. Now, for the second time since October, the stove is malfunctioning, for the exact same reason as the first time... Which happened just a few weeks after the stove was purchased. As if the malfunctioning stove isnt enough of an inconvenience, we were informed by the 3rd party repair technicians contracted by Colders/Frigidaire to service their appliances, that the earliest someone could come out to repair the stove was Friday. The stove went out on Sunday. Because the hours of operation for the repair tech also sucks, the earliest we could report the malfunction was Monday. As of today (Wednesday), the repair date has since been pushed back to next Monday because the techs dont have the repair part in inventory. My mother is a senior citizen, and for the second time since October, is without a stove for in excess of a week. The first time the stove went out (did I mention for the same reason), my mother was without a stove FOR TWO WEEKS!!! On both occasions, my mother and I contacted Colders, who referred us to the repair techs. As aforementioned, the response time absolutely sucked! The initial appointment IS ONLY TO CONFIRM THE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEM. The repair tech pre-orders the replacement part (without seeing the appliance), based on the error code and hopes that the part is what is needed to rectify the problem. In our case, it was not! So, for the initial malfunction, the tech had to schedule a second appointment to complete the repair. I am anticipating this repair will work in much the same way. I am thoroughly disappointed in both the product and service at this point. We have requested that the stove be replaced, however we were informed that Frigidaire has to approve the replacement once the 3rd-party repair tech is on site. I am not optimistic.

I purchased a Frigidaire 22.2 cu. ft. side by side refrigerator from Best Buy. I have no real complaint with Best Buy or the refrigerator. My issue is with the Frigidaire Parts Department. I called them to obtain the correct part # for the water filter as the time to order light was on. The woman in the Parts Department gave me the part #. As I ordered the water filter from Best Buy. When it arrived I followed the instructions: remove and dispose of old water filter, install new water filter. After the old water filter was thrown away, I attempted to install the new one and it did not fit.I called the Frigidaire Parts Department and spoke with Ashley. I explained what had happened and asked that they comp me a water filter being that they gave me the wrong part # to begin with. Ashley explained to me that because I did not buy it from them they can not comp me the item. As well, as it is a special order item it will not be available for 10-14 days. This I found strange, because after I got the correct part # (hopefully) from Ashley, I ordered it from Amazon for next day delivery. HORRIBLE Customer Service.

In May 2013 I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery side by side refrigerator, model FGHC2331PF7. I recently noticed rust on the back of the unit by the ice maker. When I researched this problem I found out Frigidaire has been aware of this problem as the unit does not have sufficient insulation. I contacted customer service. After a week of emails and providing all information requested the rep led me to believe Frigidaire would be taking care of this problem and I needed to provide my available dates so a tech could diagnose and repair the appliance. Now I am being told they will not be taking care of this problem and I am on my own. BEWARE and research any Frigidaire product you purchase because even when they are aware of a problem they will not take care of it.

Ive never written or voiced a complaint about a product before... but this is the worst company and product that I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing and I feel compelled to warn anyone about to spend thousands of dollars on junk. We upgraded our kitchen with perfectly good functioning appliances and replaced with Frigidaire professional series stainless appliances thinking that the look and functionality would be be an upgrade. We are sad to say that we have had a revolving door with repair-people on ALL appliances... especially poor are the dishwasher and microwave with multi-failures. We purchased our first extended warranty only due to the fact that we know that we are going to need it to manage their poor performing products. (FPHD2491KFO, KPBM189KFC, PHB2899LFB).We thought at first we had a bad luck but in two years the repairman that has repeatedly been to our house replacing two magnetrons in the microwave, pumps in the dishwasher, motherboard in dishwasher, motherboard in stove, not sure what was done to our warm, non-freezing freezer. The repairman said that we unfortunately bought junk and the 8 or so repair visits taught us how to manage our appliances. Examples of how I can better manage my new professional appliances: Dont boil a lot of water on stove. That will eat at the electronics of the motherboard of stove and over the counter microwave both of which have been replaced. Dont use rack in microwave as they are known to fry magnetrons... No advice given after second blown magnetron and no rack in microwave. Dont use liquid dish soap in dishwasher (wont clean dishes). Clean your dishes before putting in dishwasher (to avoid plugging of pump). Only use 1 tablespoon of dry soap in dishwasher... That is all that is needed to clean dishes. Avoid using heat dry in dishwasher to avoid motherboard from frying.Need I say more? These are perfect appliances for you if like to spend thousands of dollars in appliances only to have multi-repair visits, a $700 microwave currently busted, missed work for multi-days to fix new appliances, spend hundreds on warranties to manage faulty products, And have fun dealing with customer service and the warranty division too. Every time you call, it is like you have never called for a warranty claim ever. Youll have to ask them to dig deep to find your appliance issues and they always seem surprised.

Run, dont walk away from this deplorable company. I replaced ALL my kitchen appliances October 2016 with the Frigidaire Gallery series through Home Depot. Ive had 5 service calls on the refrigerator. The last serviceman advised me, Thats just the way it was made, theres nothing I can do. My most recent complaint was the handle on the dishwasher is rusting! After 22 minutes on hold I was told by the customer service rep that, If you look on page 22 on your owner’s manual, you will see that rust inside and outside the unit is not covered. After speaking with a manager, as a goodwill gesture she mailed me a new handle. Really. Goodwill? Why dont you manufacture decent products and goodwill would be implied. Consider yourselves forewarned. Dont be foolish. Dont spend your money on Frigidaire appliances.

My land lady bought a new refrigerator from Frigidaire at Menards May of 2013. In March of 2014, the freezer went out, lost all our freezer food. Repairman came out once to inspect the problem then several days later to fix. He said the freon was out. He put some in and it worked fine until last week, thats only 4 Months later and its the same problem!! I have been without a fridge for 7 days. Menards passed the buck and so did Frigidaire, will not replace or Give refund for lost food. We just bought a house that came with Frigidaire Gallery line refrigerator, and we werent sure what type water filters to buy. I called the 800 number listed on the filter housing to order more, thinking that would be the best way, to order straight from the company. In short, they sent the wrong type of filter. Their mistake, not mine, as they told me. Well... I was informed they would not refund my $86 for the incorrect order until 7 to 10 days after they had the first order picked up. It has now been almost a full MONTH and although they have had the filters in their warehouse for three weeks, I have yet to see the money returned to my credit card. Ive called repeatedly, and no one will do anything about it. They will do everything in their power to not transfer me to a manager. This is the Frigidaire/Electrolux policy on returns, and its horrible.Even the smallest Amazon retailer provides better customer service than this awful company. If youre thinking of buying a replacement part from them directly... DONT! If they make a mistake, youll be waiting a mighty long time to get your money back. I will absolutely never order from them again; and the whole experience has me thinking of a different brand when its time to replace our appliances.

I bought a new Frigidaire dishwasher model FFCD2413UW at Lowes. Biggest mistake ever. Problem one, there is no mention anywhere about the fact that you must buy additional parts to install your dishwasher. This caused two 70 mile round trips. Problem two, The door on this dishwasher has no latch. With no latch to click to open it you must employ brute strength to open it.Problem 3, once you get this piece of junk open the door wont stay open. The problems here are numerous but the most aggravating is that when you open the door to load the dishwasher and pull the bottom rack out, the door starts shutting on its own sliding the rack back into the dishwasher. I have been employing a brick to hold the door down while I load the dishwasher. Problem 4, I thought my previous dishwasher was loud. This dishwasher drowns out every other noise by a mile. We have been setting it to come on later, it only has one setting for this, 4 hours. So now around 2 am the entire family meets in the kitchen to find out what the racket is about.

Frigidaire appliances are the worst. We bought the Frigidaire Gallery series, all four major appliances - brand new from Appliance Factory Outlet. I will NEVER buy Frigidaire again and will not buy from Appliance Factor Outlet again. We paid extra to get the gallery series so fingerprints are less noticeable and apparently the extra money is only for that feature because the appliances have been nothing but trouble. Within 2 years we have had 7 repair calls on our refrigerator (ice machine not working, ice machine freezing/seizing up, doors not sealing, under drawer freezer ice build up, etc. etc. etc.). One time the complete cooling system went out and we had to throw out a bunch of food, of which they do not care about. Thank goodness we had the extended 10 year warranty or else we probably would have spent enough money to buy another refrigerator on service calls. Appliance Factory Outlet was less than helpful. They clearly had the attitude that its not their problem. They want the sale without any customer service. The warranty people (Brand Source) are irritated every time I have to place another repair call. I actually had Brand Source correct me after I said you guys have been out to my house a million times and she sarcastically said they told me that I have had only 7 repair calls. Unbelievable. Now we are 3 years into our new appliances and the dishwasher has broke 2 times. Unfortunately, we do not have the extended warranty on that. The oven also has had issues but suffice it to say - never buy Frigidaire appliances. I called the corporate office and they said you have to have 4 occurrences OF THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM before they will consider a replacement. I guess 7 or 8 calls on a brand new fridge isnt troublesome to them.

I purchased a new double wall oven in Oct. 2012, and was generally happy with it. The first time we tried to use the self-cleaning feature, after several months, after a while running the self clean, the oven showed an error code and then shut down. It worked fine otherwise, but we have not been able to self clean. In the past month, we have started getting the same error code (F43) when using the oven for regular cooking as well. Although we could tolerate the lack of cleaning, we are now trying to fix. Frigidaire initially would not help, as we are out of the 1-year warranty period. Then they offered to pay for parts, provided we use an authorized service technician. They sent me the 3 service technicians in my area, and 2/3 did not return my phone call. The third came out and reported that the labor alone to fix the oven would be over $400, requiring replacing of a fan and a sensor. I contacted Frigidaire again, expressing my dissatisfaction with the oven, and telling them I didnt see a reason that a new oven should require these new parts, as well as being unhappy with being forced to use a particular service company, who seemed to be charging a very large amount. Completely unhappy experience, and I will not be buying a Frigidaire again.

We purchased Frigidaire Professional appliances just over 2 years ago - double oven, microwave/hood fan and warming drawer. My issues with the oven were recorded here some months ago. Eventually, after a lot of wrangling and dishonesty on the part of Sears, Sears was forced by me into a buyback and replacement. This last week, we found that the microwave had ceased to heat. So now, in order to preserve the product coordination of our kitchen, Im now forced to purchase a new unit. The failed one states on the label that it was only produced in December 2009. It was installed by me in May 2010 and has been used only to thaw out bread and for heating frozen peas and suchlike, never for cooking as such. I would estimate its use at no more that 15 minutes or so per week.So this time, Im paying for a 4-year extended warranty and will take great delight in calling Sears out at the first hint of any trouble with it. Frigidaires Professional range of appliances are complete and utter junk, inherently unreliable and not fit for their intended purposes. The reliability of them is appalling beyond belief. My advice to anyone and everyone: Dont buy anything with a Frigidaire label on it, youll regret it if you do.

I bought this 26 black refrigerator in July 2013. We have had freezer problems with it since day 1. First it needed a new motherboard, then freon, then whatever... the list goes on and on. I have the Sears protection policy (thank God) but they will not replace it and say they can fix it. They havent fixed it right in 3 years; the problem is recurring and it is always with the freezer. I like the look of the freezer and the refrigerator side is fine. I do not recommend this product to you... get something else and save time. I will not buy a Frigidaire ANYTHING based on this refrigerator.

My stove-top is having the exact problem as stated in their recall for the stainless version Depending on the model, the surface heating elements can 1) turn on spontaneously without being switched on; 2) fail to turn off after being switched off;or, 3) heat to different temperatures than selected. This poses a fire and burn hazard to consumers. They are not considering this as a recall.

We have a brand new side-by-side refrigerator, a Frigidaire LFUS2613LEO. Within three weeks, it stopped getting cold in the refrigerator section. Now all our food is spoiling as I write this. This was purchased at Lowes. When we called Lowes, they informed us that there was only a 7-day return policy and that they could not send a repairman for two more days! So here we sit with tons of spoiled food, no fridge for two days and can’t return the piece of junk nor are we compensated for all the lost food. If it breaks down within three weeks, I can only imagine how long it will be before it breaks again. It is obviously a lemon and there is nothing we can do.

We purchased a complete Frigidaire Kitchen Suite. The microwave had to be replaced because the rack that came with the microwave fell and burnt a hole in the side of my microwave. The Refrigerator continues to freeze my food. It was repaired 3 times and then replaced only to have the new one do the same thing. I contacted the head of Electrolux Keith McLoughlin and a Rita ** called regarding my email. I asked for a complete refund. They want to refund the price I paid for just the Refrigerator when I got a better price because I purchased as a suite. The difference is $400.They also offered to replace with another refrigerator that is a different color and will not match other appliances. I again asked to have my entire purchase refunded. I have contacted the BBB and the Attorney Generals office in hopes to get this resolved. I dont feel I should get screwed when it is their products that are the issue.

I bought the gallery series Refrigerator, Range, Dishwasher, Microwave on 11/18/2014. On 7/1/2015 the refrigerator (model# FGHS2655PF) quit working completely. I could not get anyone at customer until the next day and my service appointment was not until 7/6/2015 because they only have one service provider for the whole Cincinnati area. I had to leave work early to meet the repairman, only to have him say he needs to order parts and come back on 7/9/2015. Had to take off work again to meet repairman and to have him tell me he needs more parts and needs to come out again on 7/11/2015 to then tell me he cant fix it after 3 1/2 hours. The whole time that I talked to Frigidaire they did not care that I lost everything in my refrigerator (approx $200) or that I didnt have a refrigerator at all for the last 10 days. They still have to review whether they are even going to replace it. $1000 refrigerator lasted 7 1/2 months? What has happened to FRIGIDAIRE? They used to be the brand I sought out to buy.

I purchased new oven/microwave unit in 2008 that developed a problem last August turning on based on a door latch that malfunctions. I spent $234 to fix with Frigidaire authorized service company, who told me it was a simple problem but expensive because you had to remove the entire wall unit to access. 4 months later I am having the same problem. Repair warranty was only 90 days. Fix will cost the same again. So I called Frigidaire’s customer service twice but they cannot help. I wrote office of their president who returned call very quickly but cannot offer any help. The only solution that was offered was that I should have purchased the extended warranty in the beginning. I am left with only two options. Spend $234 again to fix problem which only lasted 4 months the first time, or purchase a new unit. Original unit cost just under $1600. It seems there is a defect on this unit, but I am the one who is left out in the cold.

We bought a new home in 09/13, we upgraded our appliance package to the tune of 1800.00 dollars above the amount allotted by the builder. We had nothing but problems with the appliances. Dishwasher, stove, and now the fridge. Yes I understand they are just over 5yrs old. But when we bought the appliances we made sure of the warranties on the units. typical warranty 1yr complete, 5yr compressor. Weve had to have the fridge serviced a couple times over the years, and Frigidaire {Electrolux} has been aware that there was a problem with the compressor. So fast forward a couple months, now the unit is completely off warranty. Low and behold they will not warranty the compressor. Sorry of which they have changed their warranties to now only be 1 yr for the complete fridges, no compressor warranties beyond the year. But they would gladly sell me a NEW compressor to the cost of 495.00 canadian, shipped. But I must have a Frigidaire approved installer put it in at the cost of 695.00, bringing the total repair to 1100.00 Well we decided to just scrap the fridge since the repair is so costly, and no guarantee it would last. So why not just buy a new Fridge from another manufacturer. Oh ya did I mention Samsung, Dayco and numerous other manufacturers have increased the warranty periods on their refrigerators. The last time I ever buy a Frigidaire or Electrolux product ever. Also I will make sure as many people know as possible that they do not stand behind their product.

So I bought this stove a year ago, a Frigidaire, but made by Electrolux. It is working fine but there are these little rubber feet on the bottom of the cast iron grates that come off (they stick to the enamel surface of the stove) every time you clean under the grates. So after almost a year and having lost eight feet, I decided to call the company and ask that they replace these small rubber feet. So I spoke to Jasmine with customer service and she said these feet are considered cosmetic and she was sorry I would have to buy new ones. Well okay, how much could they be? They are tiny black rubber nipples. Jasmine tells me I can have 8 of them for $29 and they will even give me some glue so they wont come out when you lift the grates. Are you kidding me?! They will give me glue, something that should have been done at the factory. So I asked Jasmine if I could talk to a supervisor. Well it took 28 minutes waiting on the phone for this supervisor. I know they were hoping I would hang up and just forget about it, but this is crazy, the feet probably cost 5 cents to produce. So charge me fifty cents. That’s $4.00 for 8 feet, Ill do it. The supervisor finally comes on. Her name is Jennifer. She can get me 16 rubber feet for the $29 and she wont charge me shipping. By this time I am fuming but remain polite and tell her I will not pay for something that should have been installed properly in the first place and that I believed this was a scam by the manufacturer. I will not let this rest because I told her these little rubber feet will create thousands of dollars of negative publicity for this greedy company that has no customer service whatsoever. I am not an idiot and I will not be cheated.

I have had to have the stove fixed twice (at my cost) and the dishwasher is now broke down for the third time (also our cost) and we have now decided to buy a new dishwasher instead of putting more money into this one. If the stove breaks down again we have been advised to not repair it anymore. I look after my belongings very well and I expect products to last a lot longer than 35 months!! We purchased all Frigidaire appliances 4 years ago and we have not been happy with any of them! Our ice maker stopped working 3 months ago and our gas range scratched up so easily on the top by the burner grills that we had that replaced after 6 months! We also had to replace the bottom panel in the oven because it scratched with normal cleaning using a scrubby. Now I have a permanent white spot in between the glass on the oven door. Sent an email to Frigidaire with my dissatisfaction for both appliances and heard nothing! We too are retired and we do not abuse our appliances. I’ve had ranges and refrigerators that have lasted for more than 20 years and still looked brand new. Do not buy Frigidaire appliances. Lowe’s doesn’t care and apparently either does Frigidaire. Cheaply made and made to fall apart after 5 years.

My wife and I recently purchased a new home, and the deal included relatively new kitchen appliances. Unfortunately, our Frigidaire refrigerator was of such bad quality, and our experience with the company was so poor, we felt obligated to document what weve encountered in hopes of informing others to avoid the brand. Our refrigerator was in reasonable shape upon moving into the house. Within 1 year of normal use by a family of 4, the plastic inside and outside the unit started showing fractures. Finally, random pieces of plastic, and then whole sections of shelves began breaking off.We called Frigidaire, who informed us the unit had been purchased by the original owner in 2010, so none of what we experienced was under warranty -- We were informed that the replacement price for a SINGLE SHELF was $60! Amazingly, they refused to cover the near-total deterioration of most of the plastic shelving in the unit under any sort of manufacturing defect agreement. Instead, wed be required to pay hundreds of dollars to replace the plastic shelves & moldings out of our own pocket. Frigidaire: The right call wouldve been to stand by your products by offering an apology and replacement shelves, if not for free, then at a reasonable price. Youve left a very bad taste in our mouths, and have certainly lost our trust and business.

Do not buy Frigidaire - Period. Warranty support is rigid and un-workable. My $250 de-humidifier failed after seven months, with a bad circuit board (top). To replace the unit, Frigidaire wanted me to drive out of town to a small country location to exchange the defective unit for a replacement. Frigidaire did not provide any assistance beyond that. Note: I live in a 250,000 city/county (Greenville).I repeatedly called to complain regarding the insanity and they finally gave me a special 2nd choice. I could send a certified letter (folks, this costs money, right? How is that warranty support?) with their informational requirements to Charlotte, NC. They expressed no concern regarding how to dispose of a portable unit with refrigerant (not environmentally friendly) but left it with me. I quit using profanity about two years back but this issue brings me close to NOT.Please get this - I did everything - even offered to give a credit card for a purchase/return transaction. 90% of vendors allow transactions like this. Nope - not Frigidaire. In my opinion, they just hate their customers with a happy smile. Youll hear repeatedly... our policy ad nauseam. So, readers... today, I certify that I will no longer buy anything Frigidaire, period. Will not, will not, will not. And after telling them I would be posting something truthful like this, they still didnt care.

Bought all new Frigidaire appliances for new house in Coeur dAlene, Idaho. Right away the refrigerator broke, making the freezer side super cold and the refrigerator side hot. Model number is FGHC2345LF. Freds Appliance (supplier we bought from) fixed it. This is a vacation home, so we are not there very much. Next time we came out, the same problem. Freds fixed it again (allegedly). This happened 3 more times, for a total of 5 repairs for the same thing, under warranty. They claim they replaced mechanical parts, electrical wiring, circuit boards, etc.Of course, as soon as the warranty expired, the same problem reoccurred and both Frigidaire and Freds Appliance told us to start paying if we wanted it fixed. Paid $583 to repair it. A year later, its broken again. Now they are saying its my fault because we dont use it enough! Seriously! They say it has electrolysis because Im not there with it. We leave the house at 55 degrees in the winter when were not there, and never over 80 in the summer. These are not extreme operating temperatures. Why doesnt the state attorney generals step in? I am going to request assistance from the Idaho BBB and State Attorney General.

Ordered a replacement part from this company and they sent the wrong piece. Discovered a problem with the people they have in the ordering department. They do not listen to you, make promises they never keep and the supervisors go only by the reps notes so they intentionally do not put anything in those notes to protect themselves. Called three times for a return form and I was told I never called. Ordered my part from a small business and received it in one day. Terrible customer service.Bought Frigidaire refrigerator, stove and dishwasher for the new addition in 2014. Fridge burned out the motherboard 3 years later (used a 50 year old Sears Coldspot that still works for weeks). Ice maker has always had cubes that stick so it clunks till you pull out the cube. Hardly ever use it. The one time I did turn it on and didnt hear the clunking but when I opened the door I found the entire freezer frozen in a giant ice cube from top to bottom. The dishwasher has had a heat sensor burn out. Also the wash cycle would never advanced till our repairman (not a Frigidaire repairman) told us about a design flaw. You cant use the Hot Wash Cycle ever because it will never heat the water enough to advance out of the wash cycle. The oven door has slots so if you accidentally spill you have to take the entire door apart to clean. Will never buy this product again.

Purchased in 2011 all Professional Series Appliances from Frigidaire in my new home: Refrigerator Model FPHB2099LF5 Ice Maker failed under extended services warranty and was replaced. Ice Maker replacement never really performed well and I had quality issues with its performance. The ice maker ultimately destroyed my refrigerator as it froze, caused leaking in the bottom of my freezer and literally iced through the REAR of the refrigerator causing it to Rust, build up ICE and leak, it cause water damage to my subfloor and my tile kitchen floor was destroyed. I got ZERO response from Frigidaire Product Managers on File ** after requesting something in writing on what caused this problem. The refrigerator literally ICE through the REAR and had a giant rust spot. Customer Service basically said product managers would not respond and put it back on the service technician who said theres no remediation. Its a defective product and poorly engineered in my opinion. All you get is its out of Warranty!3 days earlier I tossed the Professional Series Dishwasher because it failed to start, some keypad buttons wouldnt work, the interior racks had all rusted through the coatings. The silverware holder had holes all over it. Ive Serviced my professional Series Microwave as its failed. Its working well now. My Professional Series double wall oven doesnt cook evenly when both oven are running. The bottom always takes longer to cook at the same temperature. I have problems with the racks falling in both ovens when putting 15-25 lb turkey or higher weight items on them. The top oven bottom looks like its buckling. The issue with the racks could be related if we did a self clean with the racks still in it. I cant see how a self clean would cause that much of an issue with the size shelves.

Horrible! I will never buy another Frigidaire Product again. I have a 27 microwave oven in wall unit. I purchased the unit in June of 2009. In September 2011, the unit went out completely. Both the microwave and the oven went out. After arguing with Frigidaire for a while, I was finally able to have them cover parts to repair the unit. I had A&E Service repair the unit. They came out a total of 6 times. The first time, the person assessed the problems and had no parts on his truck, so he could not repair the unit. After Frigidaire spent over $800 in parts to repair the unit and 6 visits from A&E, the unit was finally repaired 6 weeks later. Mind you, I was not able to use my microwave or oven for 6 weeks. I have a problem with a company manufacturing a product that breaks after 2 years of use. There was a time when appliances lasted 20+ years. I understand companies wanting to make more money, but to manufacture a product that breaks after 2 years is ridiculous. Let alone the fact that they want you to purchase the extended warranty for repair, but that still costs them money for parts, supplies, gas and the customers time in having to be available for the 4-hour window for them to come out.

Lets just start off with, dont even bother with this company! I purchased a Frigidaire side by side refrigerator less than 4 years ago, and I have had NOTHING but problems! A week after the 1 year factory warranty was up my refrigerator stopped working, I lost all of the food in it. A week later it was finally fix, only to have it break again a month later! Then it was great for about 2 years... And THEN my freezer side broke, it literally just stopped working, first the ice maker, then the food wasnt freezing, then it was just done. LOST ALL OF MY FREEZER FOOD, AND IT WAS SO PACKED...ugh.Called to get it fixed, AND of course my extended warranty that I purchased after the factory one expired was already done. So yep...less than 4 years 3-4 different issues needing to be fixed, not ok. I called the company, of course they couldnt do anything to help me. I emailed back and forth with the company and they said they cant guarantee their products after the factory warranty is up, things cant last forever. Yeah ok... So basically Im done with this company, hopefully everyone starts to realize soon as well! A large expensive appliance should definitely last longer then theirs do.

My microwave at home is an OTR from Frigidaire. 1 month out of mfg warranty
My microwave at home is an OTR from Frigidaire. 1 month out of mfg warranty, it stopped working in the middle of cooking some steam-fresh veggies on July 23rd. I called the service dept and they had me purchase a 1 year extended warranty for about $30 and then created a service tech visit for me. A few days later, I got an email saying the service visit was scheduled for August 27th (more than 30 days!). I called and asked if there would be anything shorter than 30+ days and was reassured that Frigidaire would find a new date that wasnt so far out as they agreed it was a very long wait time. I never got a call back on that and never got a new service window or scheduled time.So Aug 27th came and I called Frigidaire again to make sure this was still scheduled in the system because I never got any confirmation call in the week leading up to the appointment. I was assured this service visit was still scheduled, so my husband stayed home from work all day to wait for the technician. The service tech never showed up (I called them every hour during their 8 AM - 5 PM window and they never answered or returned my voicemails). So I called Frigidaire back and they said they would try to get another service tech scheduled. The next day, I got a call back and was told they couldnt find a service tech, so they would do a product exchange and I would get the details within 2 days.So this morning, it had been 2 days and I still hadnt heard about the exchange details, so I called Frigidaire back. They told me that they will have the ticket for review for 6-8 business days and they will let me know on September 10th if they are able to find a new service tech or if they will do the exchange AND they said that if they do the exchange, I will now be responsible to pay the delivery and installation fees. So it will be 49 days from my initial issue before I find out what the (hopefully) final resolution will be. I was told by the supervisor on this last call that she firmly believes this is a good customer service practice.

Frigidaire Refrigerator Prof SXS - Never Again. Worst purchase ever made! This was a lemon from the get go but Frigidaire does not replace - they just continue to put on bandages. Every year since I have owned this piece of junk I have had to have it serviced at least once a year. I have paid over $600 for extended warranties thinking that eventually everything would be fixed. Boy was I wrong. Now it is leaking water (not from ice or water dispenser) but randomly down the right side of the unit even with the water spigot to the frig turned off. Two service calls later they still dont know whats wrong and in the mean time I have warped hardware floors (2nd time this frig has leaked) and no resolution. The only thing this refrigerator is good is displaying magnets. Once this years warranty runs out, this frig it out of here... and no more Frigidaire/Electrolux for me!

I have had my range nearly a year. FFEF3051TBC model number and serial number VF73535062. I put it back on the first 7 times until it stripped and had to be replaced and took a month and a half to get parts and them to fix it. Worked for almost a month and same things now happened. I put it on 6 times until it stripped out again now and had to order parts again. Was 5 to 6 weeks again before it was fixed. Work for almost 5 weeks. Now it is broke again about 4 weeks before Thanksgiving and now it’s Tues. And Thanksgiving is Thursday, family coming in and I can’t cook dinner. I have called corporate office many many times they say they have to fix it and only replace if the heat measured isn’t good. Well I have been without the range for 3 months and growing and while it is torn up I am sure it’s not heating right. The bottom is burned and top of food not done. I would never recommend this product to anyone. They try to put it off and off until warranty runs out. I have a new house with a new stove I can hardly use grrr. SO UPSET. The appliances Sat in my garage (in its factory box) until our remodel was done, so we started using them in mid Feb. 2015. I would use a portion of the $450 to hire someone to come work on their product. You know, I dont mind paying extra for a good product. That is what I thought we had done, but Frigidaire proved me wrong today! This refrigerator cost $1800 - and I did not even get a solid year out of it before problems started. It appears (according to service repair man) Frigidaire ss side by side PHSC239DSBO has a wiring harness issue. It falls into the drip pan shorting it out which could cost $300 for a circuit board if that would correct the problem. He states Frigidaire knows of the problem but refused to do a recall. My neighbor and husband rewired the harness and strapped it up so that it will not fall into the drip pan again. Presto, I have power to freezer side. I called Frigidaire for help and they referred me to the service man who in turn stated the repair was out of his league. So, I called back Frigidaire to get someone else. I have yet to hear from them again. In the meantime, we fixed it ourselves. If Frigidaire had only strapped the wiring harness up to begin with, I would not have a problem. It is possible that the harness could have blown my compressor. Luckily, this was not the case. Just a piece of plastic did the job.

Consumers please beware of Frigidaire Gallery product line. We have had it serviced four times and it is only just bit over a year old. Twice for the same issue of freezing all of our food on the fridge side and once for leaving metal shaving in our ice bin from the ice maker. Now our liner on our refrigerator is splitting apart and cracking all over the inside. The way that the Frigidaire company wants to fix it is with tape. The tape is the width of duct tape and white the same thickness as duct tape. So the repairman will put a piece the size of the cracks and stick them on our refrigerator. This is not an appropriate way to repair a $1500.00 appliance. Its like putting band aids all over the inside of our refrigerator. If they cannot make an appropriate repair then our appliance should be replaced. How will I clean the tape? I thought it was a joke when the repairman told me what Frigidaire said to him for this repair!! No one would want tape on the inside of their fridge. Things spill knock over. Its going to be so messy and really embarrassing when people open my fridge. Frigidaire you should be ashamed. What poor customer service. My husband and I have both been on the phone with them for over an hour and they will not help us and insist we have to use tape. What low standards you have set for what was thought to be a fine product. I have wasted $1500.00 on a refrigerator that will now have tape all over it. I even bought the extended warranty. How disappointed we are. No help was offered, nothing, zero. Buyers beware! I will post pictures soon for you all to see my taped refrigerator liner! We were going to purchase the oven in this Frigidaire product line. But not now. Consumer rights arent protected anymore and it is disturbing!!

I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator from Home Depot less than a month ago and it’s been a poor decision since date of delivery. My parents and several friends have bought Frigidaire so I felt confident in my choice however their unwillingness to back their product that is only hours old has lost them future business. The fridge was delivered with uneven doors and a squeak that sounds like an old bed frame. They sent a tech who made the doors even but they still don’t shut flush. On top of that the fridge squeaks when we close the door or even touch the fridge, it’s ridiculous!! I asked for a new refrigerator and they have the NERVE to say “the squeak is not under warranty because the tech said it’s just a cosmetic nuisance”!! REALLY??? Well I just spent $2000 on this fridge and expect it to be free of “cosmetic nuisances”! Anyway they have yet to do anything except send technicians who tell me the fridge is not broke. The one guy actually told me to demand another be sent to me. I called Home Depot where I bought it and they said they need Frigidaire cooperation or else I will have a fee. This is nuts!!! I understand things happen, I just wanted it to be resolved especially since it had just been delivered! I will never buy Frigidaire again and I intend to write a review in as many locations as I possibly can. Not to mention, I plan to spread the word like it’s my darn job!! Had they made this right I would have earned them business but now it will cost them business. They don’t seem to care either! One more note, the girl on the phone told me these aren’t made like cars and aren’t supposed to last. LOL. Well I thought it would last longer than a few hours! Very disappointed in the brand and Home Depot!! Plus, train your people not to make those irritating comments, it doesn’t help your reputation at all!

This may come as a surprise to many people, but Frigidaire is NOT part of General Motors. In 1979, General Motors sold the Frigidaire line to White Consolidated Industries (WCI). Less than a decade later, in 1986, the Swedish company Electrolux purchased WCI. Today, ELECTROLUX REMAINS THE OWNER OF the FRIGIDAIRE group. So while Electrolux might have been good at making vacuum cleaners, they apparently have problems with larger appliances. I noticed an another post that somebody mentioned American made in reference to his refrigerator. I am not sure if this applies to everything with the Electrolux/Frigidaire label, but mine is clearly labeled Made in Mexico.

The temperature of my Frigidaire french-door refrigerator went up to 55F after less than 5 years of regular usage and it stayed at high temp between 44-55F. I called to schedule an appointment for diagnosis, the associate immediately charged me $99 over the phone for the appointment. Later, I changed my mind and decided to buy a new fridge during Black Friday sale, so I called to cancel my appointment on 12/1/2021. 2 weeks later I didnt see refund and called to follow up. Guess what? They did cancel my appointment but they DID NOT process the refund. After that, I had to call many times to follow up my refund, last call was on 12/27/2021. 1+ month later into 2022, Im still waiting for my refund. Good luck if you are dealing with Frigidaire.

I love my fridge, I've had it for 25 yrs+, with only one $25.00 problem - the thermostat went bad @ 12 yrs ago. I fixed it myself. It works, and still looks like new after all these years. It's a double door white in color Frigidaire. If it broke down today, I couldn't complain. I don't know if they still make them as well as this one anymore, but it has been great. First issue at 3 mths- screws were not tightened from the factory inside the dryer properly which came loose and fell inside the unit causing the heating element to seize. (Took 3 weeks to repair this issue). Second issue- 3 mths later- Belt for the dryer broke, washer not spinning or draining. Belt was replaced, but technician replaced a motor control sensor on washer which did not fix the problem. Frigidaire will not yet replace our unit and is ordering 5 MORE PARTS to fix the washer!!I have asked multiple times if we can have a replacement unit since the machine is intrinsically faulty! And I am told that there will be no placement of our unit until the TECH dept deems it unrepairable, which the technician that worked on the unit is saying that he feels its unrepairable. This has taken 6 weeks now and Im still without a washer! Not to mention the trips to the laundromat, the time off of work I have taken to be home for the repairman. This has been an absolute nightmare. I cannot believe that a company would not stand behind their product and treat a customer this way. I will NEVER buy Frigidaire products again!

We purchased our Frigidaire glass-top stove in July of 2011 (Model #LGEF3045KFE). Within six months, it started showing symptoms. Whenever we used two burners and the oven at the same time, the entire unit would shut down. After cooling down (and flipping the breaker switches for the stove circuit), the stove would reset and wed be able to use it again (as long as we only used one burner and the oven). This happened a few times the first year; it happened a few more times the second year. I kept thinking I didnt have a large enough circuit breaker for the stove, until it happened again for the last time. The stove would not reset. NONE of the burners, nor the oven, worked. Thats when I went online and found out that there were a lot of people complaining about the same problem. When I contacted Frigidaire, they said it was MY problem since the one-year warranty period had expired, even though my stove had started showing problems DURING the warranty period.Frigidaire has refused to stand by its product (which is TERRIBLE, by the way). As a result, I will NEVER buy anything made by Frigidaire ever again. I am telling all of my friends to stay away from their products because of their shoddy workmanship, lousy customer service, and useless warranty. Appliances should last for 10-20 years before breaking down. Ive been a homeowner for 30 years. I have NEVER had to fix ANY of my appliances - until I bought a Frigidaire. Never again.

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator in Oct 14 for my man cave. The reason was for the ice. The ice maker has frozen up on me 3 times, April 15 (under warranty), April 16 and the last time December 16. I paid to have it repaired in April 16. So after the third time I thought I would try the factory again, yea right. Was just told that it is not unusual for this to happen and as far as they were concerned, the product is out of warranty. We have a GE Profile at the house that is approximately 9 years old and have never had a problem. I need the ice so I think I will go get another GE refrigerator and set this one on the curb with a FREE sign on it. I will also start telling everyone I know or dont know, as I walk down the aisle at Lowes, that you really dont want to be purchasing this product because if you read the other reviews, Frigidaire should be recalling this model of refrigerator.

My ice maker from my Frigidaire refrigerator has never worked properly. It never stops making ice unless I manually shut it off. Then it started spitting out ice all connected and huge chunks. Then one day my daughter and husband were getting ice from the ice maker and noticed right before drinking it small and large pieces of plastic in their water. The dispenser broke as the ice went through and the cracked plastic. Ive contacted Frigidaire and they try to avoid what I tell them by saying sorry your ice maker is not working. No... How about sorry my daughter almost ingested plastic sharp pieces that could have caused damage or hurt her and my husband. Do not buy this product!

Now one month after our warranty ran out the motor in our dishwasher burnt out and set a fire inside it. We contacted Frigidaire about this and were told that they would cover the parts, which is the entire machine, but will not cover a new machine (which we were happy with at first) until we were informed by 2 separate repair companies that it is impossible to fix. We again contacted the company and were basically told better luck next time. Shame on this companys customer service.

Basically they claim that this is not under warranty because it is considered a Cosmetic issue. How is a door malfunctioning a cosmetic issue? Arent the glasses supposed to keep the temperature at certain level? By the way, the company providing the services are asking for a part for the seal. UNBELIEVABLE. A SEAL for the door and they dont want to pay for it. WOW. For a 1500 appliance, they do not want to cover the cost to repair a damn seal. Back in August 25th, 2006 I purchased 3 Frigidaire products: stainless burner gas cooktop, a double gas wall oven and an over-the-range microwave oven from AjMadison. Out of the 3 two are broken or dont function properly. I had my entire downstairs, which included the kitchen completely, remodeled. In 2007 all the new appliances were installed. I started having problems almost right away with the microwave. The hinges started to get really loose to the point of not being able to use it unless we held the door shut. Then the exhaust fan started coming on at will. We had to literally have to unplug the exhaust fan cord. A repairman came out and we thought he had fixed the problem but shortly after that every time we use the microwave it sounds like its about to exploded. The noise is that loud. Now our gas double oven door hinges broke. We had two repairmen at different times that tried to fix the hinges but it can not be fixed or replaced. The whole oven unit has to be replaced because this stupid oven is a one piece unit. I contacted Frigidaire and they said that there is nothing that they can or will do about it because they are no under warranty anymore and that I should have purchased an extended warranty. How dare them! A person should not have to purchase anything extra not unless they want to not have to so that these cheaply made appliances will be covered for some repairs. This company has known for a very, very long time that most of their appliances have serious problems. I refuse to pay for the items I already paid for once. Im sorry, I wont cut the mustard with me. Im very upset and something needs to be done about this on-going problem; otherwise, more people like us will get taken to the bank. We are retired people. I should be enjoying my retirement rather than trying to figure out how Im supposed to pay to replace these things. My question to all of you who are going through these problems with me is what are we going to do about it? I want to file a class action lawsuit. Are you with me or not?

On Christmas morning I turned our Frigidaire range on to cook our Christmas turkey. Our stove is only 2.5 years old. There was a loud pop and I turned to see flames coming from the back of the stove licking at the wall. My husband quickly pulled the range away from the wall as I shut the stove down. The flames subsided but thick black smoke was still coming from the back panel. Never will I buy a Frigidaire appliance again. We could have lost our home on Christmas morning if we hadnt been in the kitchen. Cooking a turkey for a group of guests on an outdoor grill in 40 degree weather is miserable. I bought a home with all Frigidaire appliances in it, the first month after moving into this only 1 year old home, the oven needs a new element. Ok so that was $350 thinking this was a fluke and bad luck. The ice maker is crap not only does it not make enough for a family but it always has random styrofoam balls among the ice cubes that you cant see until they float to the top in your drink. Ok so that was minor but then the lights all go off inside the fridge and freezer. We call to let them bill us for a $46 light they say maybe the issue since they work like LED Christmas lights (when one goes off they all go off). We replace one at a time thinking it would light up but nope the whole fridge starts to die. Not keeping temp. Now 2 boards are blown and $565 later after repair tech came out it works but the ice maker is still crap!!! Not working at all. Stay far away friends from the Frigidaire Brand made by Whirlpool.

I purchased a Frigidaire 27.86 cu ft FD REF LGH from Lowes on 10.5.14 and had it delivered to my new home on 1.28.15. Less than a year later the ice maker started dripping water on the wood floor and stopped making ice. I contacted Frigidaire who said that since it was over a year old, it was not under warranty and it would cost over $300 to repair through one of their recommended repair companies. The female customer service rep asked me if I would like to purchase an extended warranty for $500.After several back and forth calls to customer service about the situation I ended up paying $300 for a five-year extended warranty. The repair company came out, said he needed to order the part, and weeks later came out to repair the ice maker which is now doing the same thing again. The repairman said he would probably see me every year because it is a problem with these models having the ice maker in the refrigerator door instead of the freezer door. When I called Frigidaire this morning, the customer no service person was very rude and would not even allow me to speak. She kept talking over me, giving me the same repair company in my area and a warranty number for the service. When I asked her if there was any possible option to replace the refrigerator with another model, she said, No. I responded with, So, am I stuck with this high-end expensive but faulty design until I purchase another brand? She said, Yes, thats it! I do not recommend anyone to purchase any Frigidaire products. They have a serious customer service and customer relations issue, and they do not back their products. We needed a fully functional, energy efficient refrigerator for a tight spot in our small house, which we bought 15 years ago. We did not want bells and whistles like an ice machine, although this fridge does have the capacity for one, door water dispenser, alarms etc. These items are just more to break, need cleaning and cause problems. We bought the 14 Frigidaire and it has been wonderful. Interior is roomy for the size, electricity use is quite reasonable. It is easy to clean and the gasket has held up well. The small size means that we need to use up leftovers, don't have food waste, and keep it neat. The price was right. Should we need to replace it, we will look at the same brand.

I purchased this microwave to match the Gallery range that I purchased while remodeling my kitchen. Big mistake. Within a few weeks of installation, we noticed that the preset cooking options were not properly calibrated - popcorn didnt pop, oatmeal didnt completely cook, meat wouldnt defrost properly based on the presets. It seemed like the unit was running at about 60-70% of the efficiency it should have. I called Frigidaire numerous times and they said that this is normal, try a different container to cook in, etc. Eventually, I was able to get someone that supposedly was in customer service that dealt with the engineering end of things. They said that a little variation in efficiency is not a big deal. I asked if their acceptable range would allow a microwave to perform at 60-70% of designed efficiency. There was a long pause and a lot of excuse making. They ultimately said that what I was experiencing was within the acceptable range of performance and they said that they would not send out a tech to evaluate the microwave. I called the local rep company and they said that a service call was going to be as much as $125 to troubleshoot the microwave. I called Frigidaire back a few weeks later and the same story. I called Lowes and they refused to help saying it is something that falls on the manufacturer and they refused to make a phone call on my behalf but offered the Frigidaire customer service number. Yesterday - 16 months after installation - 4 months after the warranty expired, it no longer heats anything up.

I bought a fridge with an ice maker in the fridge. For the first 8 months the ice maker made 120 to 150 small cubes of ice daily and worked to my satisfaction. Then the ice production dropped to about 40 to 50 cubes daily. After almost a dozen service calls the unit was replaced with a new fridge. For about 8 months the second unit worked as described in the manual making 120 to 150 small cubes in a 24 hour period. Again the ice production dropped to 30 to 40 cubes daily. This time after 3 service calls from 2 different companies I was told by Frigidaire that the unit is working properly and the ice maker is only a convenience and they have left me hanging with an ice maker that does not produce ice. The technician that came out said the ice maker temp was 28 degrees and too warm. Should be 9 degrees. Frigidaire tech support said it is working properly so I got hung out with nothing.I wrote the CEO Mr. Shaw and his assistant called me and said nothing they can do and Mr. Shaw does not even know there is an issue because he gets screened from everything. I will never purchase another Frigidaire product. A friend has the same unit with the same issue. Every now and then it would suddenly start working again, but eventually catch on fire. My daughters husband has installed new heating elements twice, (they couldnt afford to keep calling a repairman) but the oven and stovetop worked for a while, go out, work again and then the element catches on fire. Both my daughter and I have contacted Frigidaire (Electrolux) customer service and have gotten a complete runaround. Their position is that unless there is an official recall they will do nothing. A week ago the oven caught fire again and I told my daughter not to waste any more money to have it repaired. My husband and I are going to buy her a new range, but I can promise you it will not be a Frigidaire product and I want to warn other people to avoid them as well.

I bought my fridge at Teppermans in Windsor. The staff were hard to find and when I did they disregarded my questions and made me feel like I was bothering them because I was multi buying for a discount, I had to tell them it was on sale as they didnt recognize the sale and were trying to tell me they were not on sale until after about 3 sales people tried to find the sale on it and embarrassed me as if I was lying or trying to get it cheaper than regular price and that it was a cheaper brand, I finally proved them right and they didnt apologise, They thought they can make me pay the price on the sticker. I was so upset and wonder how many customers they do that to. My fridge had many problems and they would not fix it. Gave me a hard time so I will not shop there no more and my fridge lasted 5 yrs only.

This dishwasher hasnt worked correctly since first purchasing it in Feb 2020. I tried to return it to Amazon within weeks of initially buying it and was told I would have to try to get it fixed through the warranty. Amazon would not accept a return without an outside company verifying that it could not be fixed. Now- 10 months later, Ive been working with Frigidaire/Electrolux warranty repair and it is a NIGHTMARE. DO NOT buy any Frigidaire or Electrolux products. They are crap, their warranty relies on certified repair people to come out and those repair people are scamming.I have been getting multiple emails for months saying the repair people have ordered parts and they have arrived and when I call to schedule the appointment for them to come out as instructed, they tell me they have no parts and they will have to order them. Its very obvious that the repair company is ordering parts from Frigidaire and using them for something other than fixing my machine. Frigidaire will not do anything when I tell them that the repair people are lying saying that they are coming out with parts. All they tell me is that it has to be fixed because the repair company is saying it can be fixed. Its been 11 months now. Im saying that they can not fix it if it has been 11 months. I wish I would have read a review like this when trying to decide which brand to go with. My advice is go with ANY BRAND OTHER THAN FRIGIDAIRE AND AMAZON.

I have a refrigerator with a freezer on top. I have banged my head on the edge or underneath the freezer door while it was open on several occasions. Last night, I banged my head so hard that I sustained a serious neck injury. I still have a headache and being treated by a doctor. This has never happened to me before with any other refrigerator/freezers. I will get rid of this refrigerator to prevent personal injury from happening again. I didnt want to spend the week leading up to Christmas in pain, but I am. Im very frustrated! I have had two whiplashes from car accidents and this mishap with my freezer door has only compounded the problem.

This stove isnt practical at all for everyday cooking. It needs constant cleaning or it looks like hell. The rubber feet under the grates melted away after year and go look up much it costs to replace them. After a year the black paint in the back started coming off despite my best efforts to be careful. The back should be porcelain so it can be scrubbed. Paint just sucks. The burners dont even come close to heating evenly. Its really bad! If youre lucky and have a really old stove, keep it. None of the modern stoves seem fit for heavy use. Parts wear out quickly and cost a fortune. I have called Frigidaire and they wont give me new rubber feet but tried to sell them to me for the same high price. I hope they go out of business.

Bought the entire line of these products - double oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher. From the start the ice maker never made ice. Weve had 4 techs out to fix it. Last issue was the entire control board needed to be replaced. The dishwasher pump has been replaced. Currently the microwave doesnt heat and the top of the double oven wont heat. Called Frigidaire and the offered to sell us a 2-year warranty for $498. Wow, way to back your products. 4 appliances and every one of them is total garbage and NOBODY at Frigidaire cares. I will never buy a Frigidaire product again. And to think, this is their PROFESSIONAL line!

If I could give them a negative star I definitely would. I began replacing the appliances in my kitchen with Frigidaire about 5 years ago. I had problems with the refrigerator. Thank goodness it was covered under warranty, the condenser or something had to be replaced. I also had problems with the water in the door of the freezer. The paddle broke twice. The first time they sent me a new one to replace it.The real issue is the Frigidaire stove. This past Saturday night My husband woke me up about 12:30 am. The house was full of thick white smoke that burned our lungs and eyes. My 83 year old mother lives with us. We determined there was no fire just smoke. We began clearing the smoke out of the house. We then noticed a skillet on the stovetop smoking. The knobs were all turned to off but the stove had cooked that skillet. Its a wonder it didnt catch my house on fire.I contacted Frigidaire this morning. At first they told me it was not on the recall list and they could send me to an authorized repair person. After insisting to talk to someone else, I got Tiffany a corporate representative. She also advised it was not on the recall list. She did offer me 50% off repair. I actually laughed. I said your appliance came on by itself, almost killed me, my husband and my mother, could have burned my house down and you are going to offer me 50% off fixing it? I will never buy another Frigidaire and will do as much as possible to keep anyone else from buying Frigidaire. The offer to fix my problem was definitely not even close to what they should have done.

We bought a Gallery Frigidaire refrigerator in May 2016, within a week we knew it was not working properly. After at least 10 service call by Judd & Black a local business our unit was finally replaced by Electrolux. Now 10 months later our new unit does not cool. We are beyond frustrated to say the least. How can a family be expected to take this amount of time off for the service calls and not to mention the amount of food that has been wasted. So here we are almost 2 weeks without a refrigerator AGAIN.

My landlord purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator for me on August 2020. It stopped working in February 2021. After 5 repair visits and 3 months of no refrigerator, I contacted them myself and the customer service was condescending and useless. They seemed to think I should wait indefinitely for this to be fixed. Needless to say, I have had to replace it. I will never deal with this company again. Also, needless to say, the new one is not a Frigidaire.
