I bought the gallery series Refrigerator, Range, Dishwasher, Microwave on 1
I bought the gallery series Refrigerator, Range, Dishwasher, Microwave on 11/18/2014. On 7/1/2015 the refrigerator (model# FGHS2655PF) quit working completely. I could not get anyone at customer until the next day and my service appointment was not until 7/6/2015 because they only have one service provider for the whole Cincinnati area. I had to leave work early to meet the repairman, only to have him say he needs to order parts and come back on 7/9/2015. Had to take off work again to meet repairman and to have him tell me he needs more parts and needs to come out again on 7/11/2015 to then tell me he cant fix it after 3 1/2 hours. The whole time that I talked to Frigidaire they did not care that I lost everything in my refrigerator (approx $200) or that I didnt have a refrigerator at all for the last 10 days. They still have to review whether they are even going to replace it. $1000 refrigerator lasted 7 1/2 months? What has happened to FRIGIDAIRE? They used to be the brand I sought out to buy.

In 2012, I purchased all Frigidaire appliances (Refrigerator, Oven, Dishwasher and Microwave). I also purchased the Extended Service Agreement and renewed with an expiration date of 3/27/2020 on all the appliances. In November 2017 I noticed a crack on the door of the microwave located at the bottom of the handle. This is probably due to the design of opening and closing. The microwave is Model #FFMV162LW Serial Number KH12401883. Purchase date 9/5/2012 ($199.00). The extended service contract #[protected] (spent $163.93 on this service). When I contacted the 800# to report this, I was told it is not covered, because it is not part of functionality. I have read over the contract. Nowhere does it mention the door not being a significant part of the functionality; it does need to be closed to function. The contract does not mention at all that the door is not part of the extended service.I then went on the Chat Line to further submit my frustration of all the expense I put in to all these extended services I purchased on all the appliances, not to have Frigidaire back up their products and services. These will be the last Frigidaire items I will purchase when I am in need of future products. **Answer received: I appreciated reading you complaint. Im quite heavily involved with the industry and think I might be able to shed some light on the subject. The issue youre referencing is a problem of physical damage versus that of electronic/mechanical problems. Physical damage is something most extended service guarantees do not cover; for example, closing the door too hard and cracking the door. This makes sense whereas theres no way to determine how the crack really occurred. For what its worth, I own several Frigidaire appliances and dont hesitate to recommend them. Admittedly I prefer the Gallery and Professional lines as compared to that of the basic Frigidaire series, but if one knows the line fairly well, they can become a great value. Hopefully this helps clarify the issue.**I replied with: Sorry Shaun, but this seems to be a standard reply you are giving many of the complaints posted here. I still stand by my statement that I will not purchase any more Frigidaire items. After the several conversations with Frigidaire, there has not been one single reply. I asked if all my methods of contact (phone and live chat) had been recorded, to which I was informed they were as I suggested upper management review. When one receives mailers saying you are best to purchase a service agreement (kind of an extended warranty) that pretty much costs more than the unit itself, you are believing the Company will address the problem. In this case, me, the customer, was not satisfied with three issues; 1) Product flaw 2) Misleading extra coverage 3) Level of caring from Company.

While running dishwasher I could smell something burning. Pulled it out and the bottom was in flames. Called and Frigidaire service rep came out and I was charged the service call only to tell me it was burnt beyond repair. They sure were not concerned that I could have lost my home. REALLY DO YOU THINK I WOULD EVER BUY THAT MAKE AGAIN? I WILL MAKE IT A POINT TO LET MANY PEOPLE KNOW HOW CONCERNED YOU ALL ARE.

I will never purchase another Frigidaire product for the following reasons: 1). After two years, the interior light switches failed, causing the lights to remain on after the doors were closed, resulting in the bulbs burning the top of refrigerator compartment. Repairman couldn’t fix them, due to the fact that there are no cool bulbs to replace with. I still have no lights in fridge. 2). The auto ice maker has no overfill shut-off, until you discover that when door is opened, the ice falls underneath the freezer, and the door won’t close until you remove spilled cubes under the freezer; accessing the spilled cubes is a nightmare, for which I now have a special homemade device for this job. 3). Now that fridge is “old” (2012 purchase), water is leaking to bottom of freezer compartment, the freezer jams if it’s not removed. Every 5-6 days, I must empty the bottom drawer of freezer, get down on hands and knees, chip away 1/2 inch of ice from freezer floor, then re-pack bottom drawer!4). Upon calling Frigidaire about the last issue, representative advised me to “purchase a new one, it’s old”, which I definitely will, however, not from this company or any of its affiliates!

Purchased four Frigidaire appliances on 2/25/2010. Dishwasher model # FPHD2481KFI, after many major repairs (motor and pump replacements, etc.), finally replaced with another brand in July, 2014. Total life span? 3 years and 5 months. Range model # LGEF3045KFA failed in November 2012. Total life? Two years and nine months. Microwave model #FPBM189KFA stopped heating on 10/1/2014. Lasted almost 4 years. Keeping our fingers crossed for the refrigerator.

I would like to know how to pursue a complaint. The $625 Frigidaire dishwasher requires a new control/console which with labor is about half what I paid for the thing. The door handle is looser on the microwave every day I notice and soon will fall into the door according to other review. Had to replace motherboard in range while still under warranty. So how can we make their rip off cost them some money for a change?

My experience with my Frigidaire Gallery has not been a good one. I purchase a set and paid for extended warranty in 2011. Within my first year of my purchase I have had issues with the refrigerator and stove. The first refrigerator had a recall and I was given another one. Once I received the new one I had to call a tech through ACH a company that was referred by the insurance for any problems with the product. I was paying a monthly fee for the service that only resolved the issue temporarily. After paying for service that wasnt beneficial cost-wise, I canceled. The appliances are not good and doesnt withhold the value at all. I refuse to constantly pay for service on a product that is always in need of repair. As of now my ice maker is NOT working, the dishwasher is NOT working, two of the five burners are NOT working, and last but not least the microwave doesnt get warmer or cook. It just go through the motions of coming on.Im clearly NOT satisfied with the products and know there is nothing that can be done without paying a large amount of money to fix. I would probably come out better buying a whole new set and a different brand. This brand is NOT what it use to be! I am overwhelmed by the reviews. Never thought that this many people had problems and I wish I would have seen this before my purchase. What is even worse is no one had a good experience and the company dont care. What a RIPOFF!!! I cant even submit unless I check one star that I dont want to give. WOW.

In late November 2015, we remodeled our kitchen and purchased a complete suite of Frigidaire Gallery appliances. We couldnt install the dishwasher until the granite countertops had been fitted so the dishwasher went in last, a few days before Christmas. As soon as it had been plumbed in (at a cost of $120 by our Lowes kitchen fitter), a 15 minutes rinse cycle lasted three hours. I switched it off and reset the machine. Another 25 minutes cycle last four and a half hours. I called Frigidaire and they said that they couldnt get anyone out until January 2016! I called HHGregg who said that its not their normal policy but they would order us a new one, but we had to pay for it over the phone, return the old one to the store (a 64 mile round trip), and then we would get a refund on the original one. So 64 miles later, we had another dishwasher, which my husband had to install, since the kitchen fitter wouldnt come back without another charge. In February, I noticed that the side-by-side refrigerator was dropping temperature on the fridge side. It went from 38F to 14F, up and down wildly, then it would settle back at 38F, then the freezer would start to defrost. In the middle of this, we lost endless amounts of food as it completely froze in the refrigerator and defrosted food in the freezer. Customer service at Frigidaire was dreadful and they would not even guarantee that someone would call you to make an appointment for a further two business days. By this time the fridge went back to its normal temperature. I eventually got them to give me the local Frigidaire repair man and I dealt with him directly. Over period of a month or so, every time he was scheduled to come the fridge worked correctly, then froze everything in sight. Finally, we got it fixed. The damper hadnt been installed correctly and we were a filter missing. Were now holding our breath waiting for the stove or microwave to break down. I will never buy Frigidaire appliances nor will I recommend them.

My children were asleep and my husband and I were getting ready to get to sleep ourselves. He decided to go downstairs and get some water. He came back up and told me he smelled smoke. We both went downstairs and tried to find where the smell was coming from. Our kitchen filled with smoke, we decided to wake up the kids to get them out of the house. He pulled out the refrigerator when he discovered thats where the smell and smoke coming from. Shortly after that, the bottom of the fridge burst into flames. We used a fire extinguisher and luckily got the fire out. We contacted Frigidaire and their response was that there wasnt much they could do since the fridge was 10 months outside of the 1 year warranty. Even after we had one of their techs come out AND verify the part that burned/melted, they continued to say it was outside the 1 year warranty. They offered to replace the part that burned if we signed something saying they were not liable for anything.

I bought all Frigidaire Gallery appliances for my kitchen. Since then my refrigerator has broken at least 4. 1st was ice maker $150 then the whole motherboard $350. Now its the water inlet valve $150 and of course all this happens after the 1st year when the warranty expires. So the way I see it I paid for a new fridge in repair. Also bottom freezer door doesnt close right and is chipping away. Stay away from the P.O.S company. I contacted them to see about recalls and such all the recalls are for the model before it. This model has the same problems but no recalls. That is the biggest scheme. Stay away from this junk box.

Horrible! I will never buy another Frigidaire Product again. I have a 27 microwave oven in wall unit. I purchased the unit in June of 2009. In September 2011, the unit went out completely. Both the microwave and the oven went out. After arguing with Frigidaire for a while, I was finally able to have them cover parts to repair the unit. I had A&E Service repair the unit. They came out a total of 6 times. The first time, the person assessed the problems and had no parts on his truck, so he could not repair the unit. After Frigidaire spent over $800 in parts to repair the unit and 6 visits from A&E, the unit was finally repaired 6 weeks later. Mind you, I was not able to use my microwave or oven for 6 weeks. I have a problem with a company manufacturing a product that breaks after 2 years of use. There was a time when appliances lasted 20+ years. I understand companies wanting to make more money, but to manufacture a product that breaks after 2 years is ridiculous. Let alone the fact that they want you to purchase the extended warranty for repair, but that still costs them money for parts, supplies, gas and the customers time in having to be available for the 4-hour window for them to come out.

This is about the safety Issue with Frigidaire/Electrolux June 2007 microwave/fan above stove unit. Quite some time ago, the door unit became loose and progressively worse. The problem is that the two door hinges have become broken loose. There are no screws holding the hinge. It is either a cold weld problem or the pressure fit (similar to a pop rivet) has let go. This I feel is a serious product design flaw.

After 9 months of frustration and three failed attempts to repair our fridge, Frigidaire replaced our unit with an identical unit. I had to request a supervisor multiple times, but the supervisor was understanding. Immediately when we plugged in the replacement we noticed a difference in the operation making even clearer that our initial unit was a lemon. I also complained on Electrolux and Frigidaires Facebook pages and they sent a $100 gift card to help cover food spoilage. Lowes protection plan also covered $130 for food loss. Since Frigidaire did give us a warranty replacement I updated my rating to 3 stars from 1, but since the process and experience were not what I expected from spending hard earned money we will not be buying another Frigidaire or Electrolux product.

I purchased this refrigerator new about a year and a half ago. Within the first month, the entire refrigerator had to be replaced. Since then, both the upper and lower ice makers have been replaced and worked on multiple times. The refrigerator is now out of warranty. Since the warranty ran out, the ice maker has had to be worked on twice. I have now had to purchase an extended warranty to pay for parts and labor that should be covered under warranty since the problems began right after the purchase. I should NOT have had all these problems within this short time frame since purchase. I have called Frigidaire about 8 times in 4 days, and I still have not had a repairman to my house to fix the problem. To me, this is unacceptable. I am very disappointed, and I will never purchase a Frigidaire product again. Dealing with customer service has been a waste of everyones time!

My fridge has not worked since I purchased it in March. It is under warranty and Frigidaire keeps sending people here to look at it. As a result, we had to purchase another fridge (we didnt get another Frigidaire) in the meantime while we worked on replacing this one. The repairman deemed my fridge dead twice and it still wasnt enough for them to replace it. The repairman has been to my house about twice a month since March. As a result, they are now replacing three parts in a brand new fridge to attempt to fix it because yet again, they refuse to replace a brand new fridge even though its under warranty. I have called and left multiple messages on voicemails and have not received a callback. However, in their notes, they have that they called and left me voicemails (which is not true at all). This has been a very frustrating process. The parts to my fridge were suppose to be ordered three weeks ago and when I just called, they were not even ordered yet. Sharon, one of the corp. supervisors, was very helpful and said she would overnight them to repair company. Hopefully, this nightmare ends soon but I am not confident it will. I will never purchase another Frigidaire product again and I dont recommend buying any of their products.

Wow, where do I start? Six years ago, we renovated a house and bought all new appliances. Lowes was having a sale on Frigidaire, so we chose all Frigidaire appliances (refrigerator, range, microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer). Almost immediately, we had a strange issue with the refrigerator. If you put items, i.e., sodas, on the bottom shelf, you cant open one of the crisper drawers. The weight of the sodas pushes down and prevents the drawer from sliding. Very poor design.About a year after the purchase, the dishwasher stopped working. We called out the repairman and the motor had gone bad. He said there was a series of motors that were bad and Frigidaire replaced the part for free but we still had to pay for labor. Also, it takes a long time for the stove to preheat. It takes 20 minutes to pre-heat to cook a pizza for 20 minutes. It is quicker to have a pizza delivered!Year three, the dryer stopped working. The main circuit board was burnt up. We were told it was not worth fixing and we had to buy another dryer. (We did not buy a Frigidaire). Now we are on year six. The clear coating that stops fingerprints on the stainless steel is wearing off both the microwave and refrigerator. This looks terrible. So, when we spend $3000 on appliances, we expect them to last more than 6 years. We are now faced with the thought that we will have to replace everything again. Poor design, unreliable, poor longevity, and looks terrible after a few years. We will never buy another Frigidaire product.

I purchased the microwave in November 2017. The door was opening with a bit of difficulty but I thought it was normal. Later on, I had to try 3-4 times to open it once. On Feb. 12th I called and they send a repair service company. The repair man wrote down 2 possible reasons: the door per se was damaged or it looked like the bottom door bracket was bent. He said that hell order a new door. If the issue will continue after that, Frigidaire will have to replace the microwave since the bracket cant be replaced.I waited 6 weeks for the door for it was on the backorder. Finally, the repair company received the door but it was broken... I waited another week, until they got another one (from the batch that was now in the Frigidaires stock). He installed the door but the issue persisted. So he said hed call them the next day and ask for the microwave to be replaced. He (and unfortunately I) did not think to try the microwave after installing the door. After he left I called his company because the microwave did not run at all, even with a hard-to-open door. He arrived after a few days and found something else was wrong (besides the door), namely a door switch. He ordered it from Frigidaire and left. After another week he arrived with the switch and installed it. But the microwave still would not work. He decided it was the thermostat. (THIS IS NOT A JOKE) and ordered it. Meanwhile we got to June and I went on vacation. He got the thermostat and came over to install it on August 1st. But the microwave would not work at all. (STILL, NO JOKE). He went to his car to look for some loose pieces. He was hesitant to call the company to order something else (and WHAT? because he had no idea what it was.) I advised him to call a colleague and ask for his/her opinion. Eventually he left saying that he will call Frigidaire the next day. Two days later he arrived with a piece that he said he had gotten from another colleague, familiar with Frigidaire products. He installed it and the microwave started running, still with the initial bottom door bracket bent and the door closing and opening with difficulty. I reminded him that he would have to call Frigidaire and say that the initial issue couldnt be fixed. BUT... SURPRISE: he said that I should be happy that the microwave works now. He said that Frigidaire never replaces appliances and it is practically a lost cause. It was clear to me that he was not at ease, since the whole story would prove that he wasnt a stellar repair man either.I couldnt believe my ears. So I understand that I have two incompetent parties here: one supplying bad products, the other supplying bad service. And I am in between, unhappy and angry as hell. I called the Dial Appliance myself and asked the manager to call since the repair man, Ishmail wont do it. The manager, Eugene, mocked me for even thinking of a replacement. Why dont you try it yourself? And good luck with it, he said. I called Frigidaire and there is not live person answering at all. They have a message, the same message that I heard several times along 2-3 months: In an effort to better serve poi, our agents are currently participating in a company collaboration & training session. We apologize for this inconvenience. One might say that after so much training theyd get better at what they are doing...

I bought a new Frigidaire dishwasher model FFCD2413UW at Lowes. Biggest mistake ever. Problem one, there is no mention anywhere about the fact that you must buy additional parts to install your dishwasher. This caused two 70 mile round trips. Problem two, The door on this dishwasher has no latch. With no latch to click to open it you must employ brute strength to open it.Problem 3, once you get this piece of junk open the door wont stay open. The problems here are numerous but the most aggravating is that when you open the door to load the dishwasher and pull the bottom rack out, the door starts shutting on its own sliding the rack back into the dishwasher. I have been employing a brick to hold the door down while I load the dishwasher. Problem 4, I thought my previous dishwasher was loud. This dishwasher drowns out every other noise by a mile. We have been setting it to come on later, it only has one setting for this, 4 hours. So now around 2 am the entire family meets in the kitchen to find out what the racket is about.

Now one month after our warranty ran out the motor in our dishwasher burnt out and set a fire inside it. We contacted Frigidaire about this and were told that they would cover the parts, which is the entire machine, but will not cover a new machine (which we were happy with at first) until we were informed by 2 separate repair companies that it is impossible to fix. We went to Lowes and bought a Frigidaire range. Everything is well so far then I start receiving calls from the company that fixed the range, they didnt get paid. I called Frigidaire extended warranty and what a surprise they want me to pay $25 more for them to honor the warranty. They said that they didnt charge enough in the beginning of the contract, and the contractor will keep calling me at work and on my cell until I paid them. All my attempts to explain to them that we paid what they want us to pay and that I still have the invoice, to no avail. The contractor was calling sometimes six to seven times a day at work mostly until we paid them the $25. These people acted like the mob, you pay us or else, even we have a contract that paid fully. We bought the set in 2011 and I sat down and read the book with the washer and dryer from cover to cover. My husband laughed at me but found out heavy clothes on the bottom, lighter clothes on the top, has a clean cycle you do once a month. Doesn't show on the panel of the washer but tells you in the book how to access it. Mine is in a basement and has never had a bad odor or any mechanical problem in 3 years. Uses very little water and clothes come out clean and smell great. I open the door when done and pull out the soap and bleach dispenser tray when not in use. My sister says her cleaning woman works for others and has had every front loader break down often. I maintain it's how we treat them. If you load them all carelessly, it makes them off balance and will cause damage. Will buy another set if these ever quit on me.

Purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator from Lowes in April 2016. Since then we have had the repairman out five times. First three times fridge made loud clicking noises, still does, was told it was normal even though we know better. Now for two times in a week, freezer went out. We are out $250 in food and no one cares. All he did was put a Styrofoam piece in fridge to regulate air, worked for less than a week. Got home from food shopping freezer is thawed out again. Cannot come out till Monday. We are told Frigidaire knows this model is a lemon but they continue to sell them as we are told because they have a warehouse full of them. Why would Lowes continue to sell these models knowing they are bad? Whatever happened to standing behind your product? I guess making money selling bad products is Frigidaires way of doing business these days... Buyer be warned.

I bought a new dishwasher prior to renting my home. During their year lease, the dishwasher stopped working and they neglected to have it repaired when it was under warranty. Five months later when they moved out and the warranty had expired, I expected to have to buy a new dishwasher or spend a few under dollars to repair it. Frigidaire customer service was amazing. Their customer service staff was friendly, helpful, and are repairing my dishwasher no charge. :)

I bought a new house 2 years ago with a kitchen full of Frigidaire Professional Series appliances. Recently the oven convection fan started to sound like an aircraft engine. The entire fan assembly had been replaced along with the motor; it now only sounds like a semi truck in my kitchen. The repair tech called Frigidaire from my house and was told that is the way it is so shell have to live with it. This is the third appliance that has been problematic. The gas range burners still dont work properly, after 3 attempts to repair. After only one year, I replaced the dishwasher with a Bosch, which I love. There will never be another Frigidaire appliance in my house.

I recently ordered two replacement drawers for my refrigerator directly from Frigidaire. The junky plastic ones they came with broke. At $43 a piece and $11 shipping, I had a hard time buying replacements but I decided to splurge. When the parts came, they were the wrong parts. I looked at the packing slip which said, very clearly, to repackage the items and use the included shipping label to ship them back. If the problem was with the shipper, they would reimburse me for the return shipping. I did exactly as asked and shipped them back. The shipping cost $27.80. After I sent them, I called to let them know and ask how to submit the cost of the shipping for reimbursement. I had paid extra for tracking, as the company had recommended on the shipping form.I waited on hold for almost an hour before I spoke to someone who said that they would not be able to reimburse me for shipping because I needed to call them FIRST. In the 1), 2), 3) list of things to do to make a return, calling them first was never mentioned. I asked to speak to a manager. None were available. This morning, I received this email. From: CustomerService@JennAirReplacementParts.comSent: Friday, December 17, 2021 12:49 AMSubject: Regarding your order#**Hello,I am reaching out to you in regards to your order#**. Our representative informed me that you would like to be refunded for the return shipping cost of the items you received. Unfortunately we cannot refund for more monies than we charged you for, and we are refunding your order in full including original freight charge. Had you reached out to us prior to shipping them back we would have made an arrangement to have the package recovered. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you have any questions please let me know. Thank youMarco **Call Center SupervisorJenn-AirReplacementParts.ComI responded and asked if they could at least attempt make it right by sending me the correct parts as Im currently stuck with two broken door baskets AND $27.80 to send the wrong ones back. They have declined to reply. I am a lifelong Frigidaire customer but no longer. I am appalled and disgusted that they would split hairs like this and refuse to even propose a solution. Clearly they dont care a bit about their customer.

I purchased a Gallery Refrigerator from Frigidaire on 11/30/14 and took delivery of the refrigerator 1/18/15 due to my home being remodeled. Upon delivery the refrigerator crisper drawer mounting brackets were broken off completely (essentially the side walls were punctured). I then called Frigidaire Customer Service and they sent a tech out who evaluated the unit and deemed it non-repairable. It is now 3/12/15 and I am still stuck with a refrigerator that is broken despite the fact that I purchased a brand new unit. In order to use any of the drawers - I have to pull them out of the refrigerator and put them on the ground to remove or add items and then put the drawer back into the refrigerator. Every week for the past 5 weeks their customer service has assured me that this should be resolved in the next 24-48 hours - but I get nothing. I am extremely upset at this point. I would not recommend anyone to purchase from this company and I could not be more dissatisfied. I am still waiting for a remedy but nobody over there seems to care despite the fact that I gave them my money. I need help!

People are on this site are here for two reasons: to make a complaints or to review a product. To those who are reviewing, this is for you. I purchased 4 Frigidaire appliances from Pacific Sales in Irvine CA in October of 2011. Within 8 months, I had 7 service calls for dishwasher leaking twice, Magnatron replacement twice and door repair on microwave, and refrigerator drawer breaking and replacement of ice maker. 2 1/2 years later my once quiet dishwasher competes with my refrigerator, my microwave is making funny noises so much that we have a replacement standing by in the garage, the stainless steel range is peeling and the refrigerator back is sopping wet with condensation, not to mention that it runs LOUDLY 24 hours a day. This was $4700 worth of appliances! Now I guess we should have purchased the extended warranties, however I felt that my last (cheap) appliances lasted (hot point range and dishwasher 16 years & Kenmore refrigerator 22 years) so it wasnt necessary. Yesterday, I spoke to Frigidaire customer service? because the repairman advised me to do so. What I received was a telemarketing service doing a hard sell for an extended warranty service for $269. Really? Like receiving numerous Last Chance Extended Warranty service notifications in the mail for the last 2 1/2 years wasnt enough. The representatives could not explain to me why their appliances can only be expected to last for one year. So I am now (after time wasted with repairmen & Frigidaire sales people) looking for a new refrigerator, taking that stand by Frigidaire microwave back to Home Depot, reviewing dishwashers online and peeling my range. My advise is DO NO BUY FRIGIDAIRE APPLIANCES!

Purchased all new appliances in 2009. Last year the door hinges and the refrigerator broke. Found a good handyman to redesign and replace the hinges. The small burner on my stove turns itself on. Very rude Frigidaire rep says it is not under recall. Odd because the stove was repaired for the same problem under recall in 2009. The appliances are poorly made, customer service is terrible.

I bought a Frigidaire Dishwasher (Model: FDB4315LFC2) and a Frigidaire Smooth Top Range Oven (Model: FEFL79HCB) from Lowes in 2008. Now, in 2011, three years later, my Frigidaire Dishwasher is showing an Error Code ER and S and will not work. My Frigidaire Smooth Top Range Oven makes an unbelievably loud noise as the oven warms up. It also heats very unevenly and untrue to the temperature dialed in. I get boiling liquid on simmer. I also have stained glass on the inside of the oven door that cant be cleaned without taking apart the door.

I have what I consider a fairly new machine - bought in 2010. It has operated well with minimal use since my children have been grown since its purchase and since we own two homes (both with laundry) and use this less than half time. The last load I washed was fine. As I put a new load in, the error light showed E90 and it beeped. I could not get either to stop, so pulled out all the manuals that came with the washer and dryer that I got from Sears. Spent quite a while reading through all 3 to no avail. So looked online. Still there was nothing to let me know what the problem was. By this time I was feeling very frustrated. So I found an 800 number to call. I was shifted to 4 different people, repeating info several times. By the time I got to a tech, I was very frustrated. Then she could not find the particular Error code - Even with the info on her computer and available from me as to the specific machine! That seems strange. However the tech seemed to be sure that the problem is the computer board. Not sure thats the correct term. My last washing machine lasted over 20 years with no need for repairs. So I am extremely disgusted to find that the board will cost over $200.00 and the service fee will likely be at least $130.00. The tech tried to sell me an extended warranty for $215.00 (to save me money). This washer is only 4 years old! I feel hoodwinked. My washer in my other home is over 20 years old and is fine. Why would I ever buy another Sears product? Which is a shame, because I have gone to Sears for large appliances since 1971.

My oven range that was less than a year old started on fire. Thankfully no one was hurt. My appliance repairman came out (on a Saturday) and let me know that a short had occurred in a wire associated with the igniter. He told me to call Frigidaire. I did so. Simply put, the technicians the company hires to do the repairs only work 8-5, Monday thru Friday. Not convenient for people that work full time. There are plenty of technicians in the area that work after hours and weekends. Frigidaire as a company chooses not to pay the technicians that will work convenient hours. The customer service representatives and managers treat you like youre an idiot and just repeat themselves. I never write reviews but I wish I would have known this information before I purchased the product.

I purchased a new Frigidaire refrigerator less than 7 months ago. I spent $1200.00 at Home Depot on this fridge. My fridge started leaking and upon further investigation I found it was my freezer thawing out as the unit had faulted out and turned itself off. I called the number listed inside the fridge for service where I was told someone would need to come look at the fridge to determine what parts or service was needed. Then I was given the # of another distribution facility (not Home Depot) that serviced all of Frigidaire fridges. The soonest I could get service was 5 days out. I ask the friendly lady what in the world I was to do in the meantime as my wife had just been grocery shopping. She explained how I could fill up bags with ice to keep my groceries cool. 5 days later I was anticipating a service man at my house and when none showed up I was told Frigidaire took me off the list for the serviceman. Irate, I called Frigidaire to get some relief and was put on yet another list to be contacted in 2-3 business days once they could find another service provider.

Mine isnt as bad as everyone else, and I hope this isnt any indication for what I have to look forward to with the purchase of all my appliances. We purchased online through Lowes in Dayton, TN. My install guys went to install our Frigidaire Microwave and there was no wall back brace plate, no instructions and no screws. There was also no manuals. My Frigidaire Dishwasher had no insulation and again no manual. The stove did not have a plug and there were NO indication that we had to also purchase one. My installers did get everything installed, but it took them 5 hours- mostly to figure out how to install the microwave.

So far to date, our microwave since we bought these products has been serviced 3 times because the time is always running fast. Service tech has been out and changed the board with no results. It still runs fast and we keep being told the same thing. It can only be the board, yet the problem still remains. Also, we almost had a fire because the element in the oven warped and touched the bottom plate of the oven causing the plate to melt. Still with the stove, the light that shows you that the surface is hot dimly flickers all the time even though the stove has not been in use. They have been out to fix this problem as well saying a ground wire is loose, but it still does it. The built in vacuum that we purchased overheats all the time and after running it for about 5 minutes and then shutting it down, it wont start until it cools down. Had the motor replaced once already and it still doing it now. On to the latest problem, our dishwasher started leaking last night. Thought maybe just need a new door seal. Upon doing a look see, found out the water was not coming from the seal but rather from water hitting the door and coming out the bottom. After taking the dishwasher apart to see why the water was hitting the door in this fashion, I found holes in the bottom spray arm. These holes had been melted from the heater coil in the bottom of the dishwasher and the heater coil is warped in such a fashion that continued use will definitely cause a fire.

This dishwasher hasnt worked correctly since first purchasing it in Feb 2020. I tried to return it to Amazon within weeks of initially buying it and was told I would have to try to get it fixed through the warranty. Amazon would not accept a return without an outside company verifying that it could not be fixed. Now- 10 months later, Ive been working with Frigidaire/Electrolux warranty repair and it is a NIGHTMARE. DO NOT buy any Frigidaire or Electrolux products. They are crap, their warranty relies on certified repair people to come out and those repair people are scamming.I have been getting multiple emails for months saying the repair people have ordered parts and they have arrived and when I call to schedule the appointment for them to come out as instructed, they tell me they have no parts and they will have to order them. Its very obvious that the repair company is ordering parts from Frigidaire and using them for something other than fixing my machine. Frigidaire will not do anything when I tell them that the repair people are lying saying that they are coming out with parts. All they tell me is that it has to be fixed because the repair company is saying it can be fixed. Its been 11 months now. Im saying that they can not fix it if it has been 11 months. I wish I would have read a review like this when trying to decide which brand to go with. My advice is go with ANY BRAND OTHER THAN FRIGIDAIRE AND AMAZON.

I bought a home with all Frigidaire appliances in it, the first month after moving into this only 1 year old home, the oven needs a new element. Ok so that was $350 thinking this was a fluke and bad luck. The ice maker is crap not only does it not make enough for a family but it always has random styrofoam balls among the ice cubes that you cant see until they float to the top in your drink. Ok so that was minor but then the lights all go off inside the fridge and freezer. We call to let them bill us for a $46 light they say maybe the issue since they work like LED Christmas lights (when one goes off they all go off). We replace one at a time thinking it would light up but nope the whole fridge starts to die. Not keeping temp. Now 2 boards are blown and $565 later after repair tech came out it works but the ice maker is still crap!!! Not working at all. Stay far away friends from the Frigidaire Brand made by Whirlpool.

I was so upset and wonder how many customers they do that to. My fridge had many problems and they would not fix it. I took the oven door along with the Frigidaire Range model number and serial number and the manual that was supplied with the stove to Milhorn Appliance Co., Kingsport, TN. When I called to verify the pick-up, I was told that the price now would be $170.74. Milhorn would not return the door without the glass. The range cost $595. In November 2009, I purchased Frigidaire Professional Series All-Refrigerator (17 cu. ft.) $975 and Frigidaire Professional Series All-Freezer (17 cu. ft.) $1,005. These are units that are designed and capable of being built in. The units were not delivered until January 2010 (as requested). They were manufactured in December 2009. In August 2012, less than three years after manufacture, the freezer failed and could not be repaired. A freezer full of food was lost. Frigidaire no longer made the 17 cu. ft. units. Although the warranty had expired, Frigidaire gave me a $1,045 toward the purchase of the only viable alternatives, that is 19 cu. ft. units that could fit into my pre-existing cabinet hole. The two replacement units cost me $3,128.89. I paid $500 for the units to be installed as the cabinets needed to be refit. In May 2013, ten months after the replacement purchase, the refrigerator failed. A refrigerator full of food was lost. After lengthy communications, including writing a letter to Jack Truong, the CEO, and working with Kimberly**@electrolux.com (706-651-7904) a third-level customer service representative after 5-6 days after three service repair visits, Frigidaire agreed to replace the unit at no cost. I was also contacted by Rita**@electrolux.com (706-651-7011) as a result of my letter. Frigidaire will provide me with up to $150 for installation of the new refrigerator. To date, I have paid: 975 Original Refrigerator 17. cu. Ft., 1,005 Original Freezer 17 cu. ft., 3,128.99 Replacement Refrigerator and Freezer 19 cu. ft., 500 Refitting Cabinet Costs and 1,045 Frigidaire credit toward replacement purchase. Therefore, after less than four years, for two Frigidaire Professional Series appliances, which I purchased with the reasonable expectation that they would last at least ten years actually more like 15-20 years, I have paid out (after deducting the Frigidaire credit) $4.563.99 plus lost all the food in two appliances. The original units cost $1,980, so I have paid more than twice the cost to date.Frigidaire is very comfortable with this situation and believes it has been overly generous. All the exchanges were polite. I certainly would not buy another Frigidaire product. I did try to get Frigidaire to take back both units at the price I paid ten months ago so that I could purchase appliances from another company. It refused. In my view, Frigidaire should stand by its products. No one purchases such units expecting them to fail within such a short time frame, regardless of the warranty. Thats the story.

Bought my electric range a few years ago. Got a great deal on a discontinued model. Love the ceramic top -- easy to clean, although it no longer looks just like new. Stove top and oven work fine and I do a lot of cooking and baking. It's simple to use. Don't like appliances with too many features that make them complicated to operate. We purchased a new dishwasher in late 2009, along with a new kitchen. Within months of our kitchen install, the doors started to peel and crack around the dishwasher. Our first thought was that there was an issue with the finish on the cabinets. Why didn’t we think that the dishwasher was to blame but the cabinet company that replaced the cabinets? Now in our new kitchen the same problem has been happening. This apparently is a well known design flaw. I contacted customer service and they would not even let me speak to a supervisor. I’m posting my review to warn others. Frigidaire refused to post my review bc it may steer customers “away”. Ridiculous. My husband and I saved up for 10 years to do our kitchen remodel. We used the Frigidaire Pro Line for all of our appliances. I have never been more disappointed with a refrigerator. I chose this model because of the smudge proof finish. This is biggest mistake we made for our entire renovation! This fridge accepts magnets and so naturally we excitedly hung up our children’s artwork. In less than two weeks (after removing the artwork to dust the fridge face) I discovered that the ENTIRE front of it was scratched with fine scratches from the magnets. I am just sick over this! Nowhere in the manual does it say NOT to use magnets on the surface. Since it accepted magnets in the first place, we assumed that was considered normal and acceptable use of the fridge. The magnets I used were brand new and not rough! The surface of this unit is ridiculously easy to scratch! Had I have known this fact, I would have NEVER chosen this fridge. It was a giant purchase for us and now I have to live with it ugly and ruined. Also, I’m now embarrassed to show people my new kitchen because of it. My kitchen looks like “new kitchen, but old fridge”. The worst part for me is I didn’t even get to enjoy having what I thought would be the refrigerator of my dreams. It was ruined before I even got a chance to enjoy it. And now I can’t even enjoy my kitchen remodel that we waited years for, YEARS!Please do not waste your money like we did. Buy a regular stainless steel refrigerator instead and just get used to wiping off fingerprints, because at least they come off! My previous regular stainless steel fridge was over 10 years old and barely had a scratch on it. In comparison this expensive “pro” fridge can’t even operate in the simplest of function, to hold up a calendar and children’s artwork on the front of it, without becoming damaged.

On June 11, 2014 I purchased Frigidaire Air Conditioner - Model FFTA1422Q2 - Serial No. KK3 through P.C. Richards, which was delivered on June 19, 2014 and installed the following day. I completed and mailed in my registration on July 1, 2014. I used the unit during the summers of 2014 and 2015. I tried turning it on again on Friday, May 27, 2016 and the unit would not cool. On Saturday May 28, 2016 I called the Frigidaire Customer Service number 800-944-9044 only to get a recording to contact 2 different service companies, one in Laurelton, NY and the other in Deer Park, NY. Neither of these numbers were operational.I then called PC Richards Customer Service to find a repair service that handles Frigidaire units so that I would not void my warranty. They gave me Aid Audio & Television Service Corp. I tried reaching them but due to the holiday weekend I could not get through until Tuesday, May 31, 2016. Told them the unit was not cooling and the first appointment I could get was Friday, 6/10/16. When the serviceman arrived he said I needed a new control board and the office would call me on Monday June 13, 2016 with the cost. When I did not hear from them on Monday, I called them back twice and could not get an answer. I then contacted PC Richards Customer Service department and spoke with Ellen. She called and spoke with Soma who said that Paul would be back in touch with me. He called me later in the day and told me that it would cost me $416.00 plus tax for the part and labor, which included the $95.00 I had already paid for the service call. I told them I would let them know.I felt this was ludicrous and I then contacted Frigidaire Customer Service on Wednesday June 15, 2016 and spoke with Linda. She agreed and did not think I even needed a control board since it was operational, it just wasnt cooling. She told me the main control board would be $85.56, a display board was $52.41 and a control panel with overlay would be $23.51. She felt another service company should come and look at the unit at no charge if the problem was in the sealed system, otherwise I would be charged. She made arrangements with Petro Home Services to look at the unit on Monday 6/20/16. The service man determined that I had lost the Freon and needed to put in a sealant and replace the Freon. On 6/22/16 I was told by Kelly at Frigidaire that parts were being ordered at no charge.Petro returned on June 24, 2016 and took the unit out of the sleeve again only to find out that I needed a new compressor as well. At first I was told that the part was covered, but I would have to pay the labor charge of $500.00. I again called Frigidaire and spoke with Chanel who confirmed that I would not be responsible for any payments. The compressor was ordered (Part #5304476923). I have now been told by Petro Home Services that there was no ETA on this part. I again called Frigidaire on June 30, 2016 and spoke with Sandra and requested a new unit. She very blatantly told me that the unit was repairable, not replaceable.I wrote to Frigidaire telling them it has now been 6 weeks that I have been without an air conditioner, with my apartment reading 90 degrees in the middle of a heat wave. I am a senior citizen and cannot live in these conditions. I either need this unit to be repaired immediately; replace the unit with a brand new one or refund me so that I can purchase another air conditioner. I am tired of getting a run-around and need immediate action, otherwise I will purchase another unit and take action against Frigidaire. With no response I bought another air conditioner that is working beautifully. They finally came and repaired the broken one with a new compressor and freon and I sold it at a loss, but at least my apartment has been cool the rest of the summer. I would never purchase another Frigidaire product again and would certainly make sure my relatives and friends would not either.

My husband and I just bought our first home. We went to home depot and purchased a washer, dryer, and stove. We made our purchase the Saturday before thanksgiving. Unfortunately, our first delivery date was delayed and a week and a half later I received my washer and dryer but the stove was damaged :( they gave us a new delivery date of Dec 16th for our new Frigidaire stove. They came yesterday and installed it, I was so happy to finally have my stove. Well anyway, today I woke up and put my oven on. The troubleshooting directions said you should turn oven on 400 for 30 min to help alleviate any smell and to break the oven in. So I did just that. The morning went on, I took my daughter for a walk and came home and put her for a nap. The next thing I knew my carbon monoxide detector was going off!!! I opened doors and windows, grabbed my daughter and out of the house we went. I called the fire department. They found out it was the oven, not the range. They said, You need to call where you got this and have them come and get it, the stove is faulty. See this machine, and it started to go up and up when he turned on the stove. When I called to have this deathtrap removed from my home and replaced they told me Dec 23rd. Needless to say, I went to a different stove to purchase a stove and also a different brand. I could have died, my daughter could have died. Frigidaire didnt care, didnt help. Im so glad and thankful nothing bad happened but I will tell you, after this experience I will never buy a Frigidaire. I have many years left to make purchases and Im a hairdresser so many people will hear this story. 1 positive experience reaches 1 person whereas a negative experience reaches 10. I sure hope thats enough for them to see the error of their ways.

Purchased in 2011 all Professional Series Appliances from Frigidaire in my new home: Refrigerator Model FPHB2099LF5 Ice Maker failed under extended services warranty and was replaced. Ice Maker replacement never really performed well and I had quality issues with its performance. The ice maker ultimately destroyed my refrigerator as it froze, caused leaking in the bottom of my freezer and literally iced through the REAR of the refrigerator causing it to Rust, build up ICE and leak, it cause water damage to my subfloor and my tile kitchen floor was destroyed. I got ZERO response from Frigidaire Product Managers on File ** after requesting something in writing on what caused this problem. The refrigerator literally ICE through the REAR and had a giant rust spot. Customer Service basically said product managers would not respond and put it back on the service technician who said theres no remediation. Its a defective product and poorly engineered in my opinion. All you get is its out of Warranty!3 days earlier I tossed the Professional Series Dishwasher because it failed to start, some keypad buttons wouldnt work, the interior racks had all rusted through the coatings. The silverware holder had holes all over it. Ive Serviced my professional Series Microwave as its failed. Its working well now. My Professional Series double wall oven doesnt cook evenly when both oven are running. The bottom always takes longer to cook at the same temperature. I have problems with the racks falling in both ovens when putting 15-25 lb turkey or higher weight items on them. The top oven bottom looks like its buckling. The issue with the racks could be related if we did a self clean with the racks still in it. I cant see how a self clean would cause that much of an issue with the size shelves.

We have had the refrigerator for less than one year. The ice maker leaks into the refrigerator and the ice becomes one. The ice maker was replaced one time and three times it is either a new gasket or this time they used silicone to seal it. The fourth time was Saturday, April 30, 2016. He used an adhesive to complete the seal. By Sunday, May 1, 2016, it was leaking again. There is a serious flaw in this refrigerator. Please do not purchase this model refrigerator. Do not purchase Frigidaire. The last call to them was I dont open the refrigerator enough to let warm air in. Such an unprofessional company. Move on. There are so many reputable companies. I am trying to get the refrigerator replaced. CONSUMER BEWARE!

Got word today the part will not be available until December 8th. Mind you the appliance is only 10 months old. I will never buy another Frigidaire appliance. Im only giving it one star due to the fact that its the least amount I can rate Frigidaire.

My 3 months old wall oven has a broken seal on the inner glass door. Called these guys a couple months ago and its been a back and forth of he said she said. Basically they claim that this is not under warranty because it is considered a Cosmetic issue. How is a door malfunctioning a cosmetic issue? Arent the glasses supposed to keep the temperature at certain level? By the way, the company providing the services are asking for a part for the seal. UNBELIEVABLE. A SEAL for the door and they dont want to pay for it. WOW. For a 1500 appliance, they do not want to cover the cost to repair a damn seal. Make sure you think 5 times before you get something from them. Seriously. So cheap....

I am renting my house, and my tenant called me to tell me that my 2 year old Frigidaire stopped working? I am living in Bangkok, Thailand, working with illegal adoptions, and former retired Police Officer from New Jersey, and am not a Private Investigator. My tenant called Sears, and they came out and looked at it, and stated it has a fan problem that has expanded on something and cannot be fixed. I bought all Frigidaire appliances to go with my new kitchen, dishwasher, stove, oven, and microwave, wine cooler, which does not work anymore either. I have no other recourse but to buy a new one. Bought this in July 2017. Tho is is the style that has the freezer in the bottom. The first thing that broke was the visual temp lights. They just quit working one day. Next, the freezer handle is falling off. Next, it states the water filter last so many gallons or replace every 6 months. We are retired, no children, no one but us two. We must spend $72.00 every 4 months. This is pure junk. I wish I had my old Kitchen Aide back.

My ice maker from my Frigidaire refrigerator has never worked properly. It never stops making ice unless I manually shut it off. Then it started spitting out ice all connected and huge chunks. Then one day my daughter and husband were getting ice from the ice maker and noticed right before drinking it small and large pieces of plastic in their water. The dispenser broke as the ice went through and the cracked plastic. Ive contacted Frigidaire and they try to avoid what I tell them by saying sorry your ice maker is not working. No... How about sorry my daughter almost ingested plastic sharp pieces that could have caused damage or hurt her and my husband. Do not buy this product!

2015 we bought all new Frigidaire appliances. Very disappointed. Refrigerator back Iced up and rusted out. Frigidaires fix was to put a 1 and 1/4 thick foam on the back of the frig. Now the fridge sticks out even further from the wall, I wouldnt be able to see if it were iced over with the foam on the back, and the ice machine hasnt worked the same since the repair. Our double oven burns food on the edges. Frigidaire put one of the largest burners towards the back so that the heat from the burner melts the face of the control board. Had it replaced once already and it is melted again. Our Dishwasher wont work on all the setting. If we select Power wash, we end up with water all over the floor. We get constant power failures also. If I could give a zero rating I would. Im surprised this company hasnt been sued. Last I spoke to Frigidaire, I was told that they could help me find a service provider and that once I pot them to fix the issue, they could then offer me an extended warranty. Seriously???

We purchased a Frigidaire kitchen package brand new from Menards. Frigidaire warranty doesnt cover anything purchased after the first year. Right out of the box we had a crack in our first dishwasher but didnt notice until we ran a few loads and it leaked water all over our flooring and sub flooring. Frigidaire did ship us a new dishwasher, but we had to pay for the additional installation charge. Fast forward a year and the inside glass on our oven door exploded for no apparent reason. We were baking potatoes in the oven when the inside glass exploded. We bake maybe once a month. This oven has barely been used when this happened. Appliance repair companies are quoting $300-$400 for this repair. Two of our four appliances failed in under 2 years. Very unsatisfied. The lady over the phone had the nerve to tell me thats what extended warranties are for. She was rude and condescending. Im definitely never buying frigidaire again.

I have to say, I am very biased. I prefer Frigidaire. We have 2 side by side units, one from 2006, and the other one is from 2017. Both have worked very well, and, yes we have had some minor repairs that I always could fix, but, overall, they just do what we expect. I think the key is to not buy all of the fancy electronics. Both of our units just have water / ice in the door, and that is all. On the 2006, other than filters, I just replaced the water control assy in the back of the unit. Part was less than 40.00. So, I guess I have had good ones. I still would buy them again.

I had Frigidaire microwave over the range at home. It only lasted 4 year. I had a professional technician over to examine. He found out the product is defective because of control board and magnetrod. These 2 key parts only last 4 years. It showed the poor quality of the product. I had to buy a new one. I used Frigidaire refrigerator for only one year, and one part (timer) got broken. I had to order a new part to replace. It costed me $200+ total for labor and part to fix it. I am not satisfied with Frigidaire brand and will not recommend anyone to buy the brand. The manufacturer (Electrolux in Mississauga, Ontario) had a terrible customer service.

Three years ago I had to buy a fridge, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. All were gallery models except the stove which was a professional, 5-burner, convection oven professional. One month after the warranty ended the dishwasher started to have problems. I have had three repair calls on it and two repair calls on the fridge within the three years that I have had them. About a year ago, the control panel on the stove started to act up. Pressing the pads became harder and finally one ring would not work. Then the oven controls started to malfunction. Numbers for the temp and time wont work. Try and enter 450 degrees and all I can get, at present, is 397. Now I am told that I need a new control panel for about $250-350 plus service charge. We purchased a new house and we were thrilled to have all new Frigidaire Professional Appliances installed. We immediately had problems with our refrigerator. The seals in both doors are still not working properly after having been replaced. It has randomly stopped working for no apparent reason. We have had a door replaced on it (as it was dented upon arrival). I have asked for a replacement as it is not reliable but because it is still under warranty they will not replace the unit, just continue to try and fix it. Our dishwasher has also needed replacement parts (we have been in this house around 6 months now) as it was not heating properly. The latch on our microwave was not working so when the service company went to replace it, they broke off some plastic parts and currently it does not work at all. Three appliances all with problems within the first 6 months. I have been a homeowner for years and never had such challenges or problems in the past.

My microwave at home is an OTR from Frigidaire. 1 month out of mfg warranty
My microwave at home is an OTR from Frigidaire. 1 month out of mfg warranty, it stopped working in the middle of cooking some steam-fresh veggies on July 23rd. I called the service dept and they had me purchase a 1 year extended warranty for about $30 and then created a service tech visit for me. A few days later, I got an email saying the service visit was scheduled for August 27th (more than 30 days!). I called and asked if there would be anything shorter than 30+ days and was reassured that Frigidaire would find a new date that wasnt so far out as they agreed it was a very long wait time. I never got a call back on that and never got a new service window or scheduled time.So Aug 27th came and I called Frigidaire again to make sure this was still scheduled in the system because I never got any confirmation call in the week leading up to the appointment. I was assured this service visit was still scheduled, so my husband stayed home from work all day to wait for the technician. The service tech never showed up (I called them every hour during their 8 AM - 5 PM window and they never answered or returned my voicemails). So I called Frigidaire back and they said they would try to get another service tech scheduled. The next day, I got a call back and was told they couldnt find a service tech, so they would do a product exchange and I would get the details within 2 days.So this morning, it had been 2 days and I still hadnt heard about the exchange details, so I called Frigidaire back. They told me that they will have the ticket for review for 6-8 business days and they will let me know on September 10th if they are able to find a new service tech or if they will do the exchange AND they said that if they do the exchange, I will now be responsible to pay the delivery and installation fees. So it will be 49 days from my initial issue before I find out what the (hopefully) final resolution will be. I was told by the supervisor on this last call that she firmly believes this is a good customer service practice.

Purchased Frigidaire gas wall oven model FFGW2415QS Serial AF71303898 on 4/24/2017 at Home Depot. Oven stopped working 4/30/2018. Have contract with our gas co, they installed igniter. Stopped working 5/15/2019, another igniter installed 5/19, 2 months later stopped again, this time they installed Frigidaire igniter. Oven stopped working 6/30/20 another igniter installed 8/20, stopped again, installed a valve, 2 weeks later stopped again, another igniter. Stopped working 12/25 while cooking Xmas dinner. Had repair here today, they ordered wire & new panel. Advised if this doesn’t work contact mfg. I have called at least 15 times, sent 4 emails, only response I received was to purchase a new service contract! Today I chatted with a Christa, she wants service records which I called for already, however, I asked to chat with a manager. Brandi came on, she is manager of Digital Team, wants records of service calls. Understand, but to get sarcastic on chat. Seven (7) service calls in less than 3 years. Five during pandemic, that was reason why I tried to wait for service. The oven is not used every day, never in summer as grill is used for everything. Reason why calls are so high per Brandi not fully staffed due to covid. Meanwhile consumer has difficulty trying to address our problems.

The $900 refrigerator started giving us problems about 2 months after purchasing (made strange clicking and buzzing sounds and would stop cooling and had to be unplugged and then re-plugged into the outlet a couple of times to get it to start working). Fast forward to the present (5 months after purchasing) and the refrigerator and freezer have stopped working permanently (despite unplugging and re-plugging as originally suggested by Frigidaire customer service). After waiting nearly an hour to speak to a person, I managed to get Frigidaire to arrange for a repairman who told us the compressor was shot and the entire unit would have to be replaced. Learned that Frigidaire and its service partners DO NOT COMMUNICATE after another nearly one hour wait on Frigidaires customer service number (when I finally got a person, I waited another 20 minutes as the rep called the repair service to confirm what Id been told). While the repairman had told me the refrigerator would be replaced, Frigidaire says they will first have to check if parts are available (a compressor and a heater). I am now waiting for Frigidaire Corporate to reach out to me with details on how they plan to honor their standard 12-month manufacturers warranty (I should hear back within 72 hours according to what I was told by the service rep). Weve now been without a refrigerator for over one week without any idea of how long it will take to get this situation resolved. According to other reviews Ive read, it may well take over a month!

I purchased a 26 Frigidaire fridge from Leons on Sep 26, 2012… On March 25, 2016 at 4 a.m. our power went out and we immediately smelled a terrible burning electrical odor. We searched our whole house and the only place that we could really smell it strongly was in the laundry room where I have my Frigidaire fridge. We called the fire department as the smell was so toxic and they came in with flashlights and searched our whole home. They sensed the smell was from the Frigidaire fridge that they had pulled out from the wall, however, did not see anything. They left and advised to check around once the power came back on. The power came back on at 7 am and the smell was even worse than before. The strongest smell was coming from the laundry room. My son was standing by the Frigidaire fridge when all of sudden he heard a sizzling sound and then flames radiating from the back of the fridge.I ran and unplugged the fridge, and he ran to the garage to get the fire extinguisher (thank God we had a fire extinguisher!!!). Also, thank God the firemen had pulled out the fridge away from the wall or the whole wall and baseboards would have been engulfed in flames. We managed to put out the fire and there was so much toxic smoke we called the fire department once again to make sure that the fire was out. The firemen came and aired out our home and ensure us the fire had been properly extinguished and commended my son on his fast thinking. I have since written to Frigidaire with my complaint several days ago to call me as soon as possible and to date have not heard a word from them. Is this legal or do I need to apply to small claims court and have them charged with almost burning down my home and providing an inferior dangerous product? I tremble to think had we all left to go to work and this had happened while we were not at home, I would not have a home today and our dog would be dead! This is unacceptable and I think its time after reading all of these complaints that this company is held accountable for the product that they offering to the public and to compensate clients who had the faith in purchasing their product that they were purchasing a reliable, dependable product. Does someone need to die in a fire for them to be charged or sued? I will pursue legal litigation unless I hear back from Frigidaire soon and they compensate me for not having a fridge any longer that I depend on every day and for the frightening experience me and my family had to endure!

My wife and I purchased new appliances for a kitchen redo. We bought a top-of-the-line stainless Frigidaire dishwasher. 18 months after installation, a control board burned out, a $280 repair charge. I contacted Frigidaire Customer Service and received what looked like a form letter telling me Frigidaire offers very comprehensive warranties with each product to guard against parts that may be defective at the time of manufacture. Needless to say, since it was older than 12 months, there was nothing they were willing to do for me. I understand that things sometimes happen, but what matters to me is what customer service is willing to do to make a situation like this right. We manage a few properties and at one point ordered a few Frigidaire refrigerators. Three of them never worked upon arrival. I was thankfully able to get two of them replaced after several calls with the distributor because frigidaire refused. It has been a year and I still cannot get the third one fixed or replaced. I have had numerous calls dropped with their customer service, countless promises to have the item fixed, and even more promises that they would bring the needed parts to fix it the next time. I will NEVER purchase one of their products again for the sheer sake of how atrocious their customer service is. I hope you should never have to call their customer service, because after waiting on hold for a minimum of 30 minutes (there is no call back option), you will likely get someone who you have to re-explain the entire scenario to, they will still not understand, and your problem will still not get resolved. At this point Im likely to just throw away this refrigerator instead of wasting more time trying to get them to fix it. I was just on the phone for over an hour, they refused to give me a manager and the call surprisingly dropped. This has happened a number of times before when I have had issues and I never received a call back. 0/10 would recommend.

We bought our Frigidaire dishwasher in August 2019. Immediately, the 3rd rack, top rack was difficult to close, constantly getting hung up on the upper spin arm. Well, the spin arm fell off, we needed to order a new one, and remove the upper rack permanently. This past spring, the connection hose leaked, my husband replaced that as well. 5 days after the warranty expired (1 year warranty) the middle spray arm fell off. There is absolutely no way to reattach it. I tried contacting Frigidaire, but calling them just runs you in circles, back through the same recorded loop. Chat on line does not work at all. I emailed on September 5th, and response back was they were getting higher than normal volume of emails, theyll get back to me when they can! No response in 3 weeks from the email. I went on their Facebook page to comment on the lack of customer service and that their dishwasher is a waste of money. I noticed a message box open and have been conversing with someone at the company. On 9/17 they messaged me that they would have a repair person come out and the company would cover labor and parts, offered this as a one time only, since it was out of warranty for 5 days when it broke again. I have not heard back from them, gave them dates that were convenient for us, which Frigidaire requested. Today is September 25th, and I am not getting any response when I message Frigidaire. Frigidaire refrigerator delivered Feb 2017. Electrolux is parent company. Unit carried 1-year warranty. Nov 2017 I discovered crack in inner lining (I suspect it was delivered with crack) and initiated telephone conversation with Electrolux who stated unit would be replaced under warranty but had to satisfy protocol. SEVERAL techs over several visits came to house. Electrolux found fault with each one --- one took over a month to invoice Electrolux & send report. One told Electrolux they would call me to set appointment & never did --- one neglected to be on phone with Electrolux factory tech at time of visit etc, etc. All techs that came to house confirmed, documented, & reported crack to Electrolux. Each call to Electrolux met with yet another step to accomplish until now unit is beyond warranty and Electrolux now saying I am beyond warranty and will only approve factory-approved repair which is to tape crack not replace unit.23 Feb 18 call to company that delivered refrigerator stated they would have replaced unit with new one if I was within warranty but because unit is now out of warranty there is nothing they can do even though Electrolux freely stating they have documentation that my conversations with them started well before warranty dropped. Customer Support is AWFUL. They lied to me. They dragged their feet so much that my unit is now out of warranty. Any help to have Electrolux replace this unit, as they promised from the beginning, would be appreciated. At this point - my advice: DONT BUY ONE.

I bought a stainless steel refrigerator and a stainless steel stove from Frigidaire July of 2016. The fridge wont cool the freezer or fridge section. The stove you have to use a lighter to light the stove. Pilots wont stay lit. Called Frigidaire and all I got was, Oh too bad. Had to go and purchase a new fridge. I wouldnt recommend Frigidaire to anyone.

Ive had the Frigidaire stove for 3 years & I love it. All the features are great! The cleaning cycle does a great job! If you spill something, it doesnt drip anywhere & its easy to wipe up. There are two different cleaning cycles. One is steam & the other the heat cleaning.

Its systems are super easy to maintain and clean. Very cold air is produced and it's very quiet compared to other products. It's also very affordable and space saving on certain units. It has been great overall. Product quiet and effective. Not much water waste either for those who don't like to waste. I enjoy it a lot after a hard day of hot work. Cool, sleek design on some products. They're very edgy and give a home or business that extra touch that makes it seem more modern and beautiful. It has never given me any trouble in almost 3 years. Best investment of my life. I just clean it externally and let it rest for a few hours a day. Other than that nothing needs to be done.

We purchased our Frigidaire glass-top stove in July of 2011 (Model #LGEF3045KFE). Within six months, it started showing symptoms. Whenever we used two burners and the oven at the same time, the entire unit would shut down. After cooling down (and flipping the breaker switches for the stove circuit), the stove would reset and wed be able to use it again (as long as we only used one burner and the oven). This happened a few times the first year; it happened a few more times the second year. I kept thinking I didnt have a large enough circuit breaker for the stove, until it happened again for the last time. The stove would not reset. NONE of the burners, nor the oven, worked. Thats when I went online and found out that there were a lot of people complaining about the same problem. When I contacted Frigidaire, they said it was MY problem since the one-year warranty period had expired, even though my stove had started showing problems DURING the warranty period.Frigidaire has refused to stand by its product (which is TERRIBLE, by the way). As a result, I will NEVER buy anything made by Frigidaire ever again. I am telling all of my friends to stay away from their products because of their shoddy workmanship, lousy customer service, and useless warranty. Appliances should last for 10-20 years before breaking down. Ive been a homeowner for 30 years. I have NEVER had to fix ANY of my appliances - until I bought a Frigidaire. Never again.

Do not buy Frigidaire washing machine! I bought one just 6 months ago. I have had the repairman out here last month. Now, this month, he needs to come again! I cant return it to Lowe’s because they dont take exchanges, returns, or refund on major appliances! So I think I will also never buy another major appliance from Lowe’s and definitely not another Frigidaire product of any kind. The shocks went immediately! Now, once again, they need replacing! Sadly, I didnt get the extended warranty. I figured my last washer lasted 12 years and I never had a warranty on any of my other appliances, so I didnt need one this time. That was a big mistake because, unfortunately, Frigidaire doesnt stand well behind their appliances, and they dont stay working for long either! The customer service number that Lowe’s gives needs help too. They cant get scheduling correct, and their computers are down a lot. So, they say it needs to break 3 times on the same item to maybe get a replacement? For real? It is only 6 months old and I am on the second problem! Shame on Frigidaire and Lowe’s! Guess we better start shopping Home Depot. No more Lowe’s either!

ATTENTION CONSUMERS!!!! DONT BUY!! This is an honest warning from one consumer to another! Don’t buy Frigidaire. They don’t last more than 7 years. I replaced my Kenmore fridge and that’s still making ice and water as we speak in the garage just fine. My fridge from Frigidaire cut out on me 3 times and parts were replaced 3 times at my expense and yet again broke down. My gas range seems to auto ghost mode on at 400 degrees or higher so now I have to keep that unplugged. My dryer was worked on several times and $100’s was poured into my dryer for parts and labor. The washer doesn’t spin the water out of clothes anymore. And now the dishwasher just generates random wash times while in a wash cycle.Frigidaire products are garbage and won’t last. I spoke to a corporate supervisor. And it was a slap to the face to offer me 20% off parts after explaining my situation and what has been going on since I purchased these products. All in all if you want cheap buy from Frigidaire. If you want to talked to like an idiot buy Frigidaire. Or if you truly listen to other consumers go elsewhere!!!

Frigidaire front load about 18 years old. Still running great. Matching dryer is the same. This machine has been moved twice with no problem. It fits in the small space that I am having a problem finding a new one to fit. I would like a machine I could clean the drain easily.

2 years ago I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator and paid 850.00. I understood it was inexpensive but it was a small apartment sized refrigerator and had no bells, no whistles and so one would assume that the price was right for what you were getting, WRONG. This fridge may as well be a polished **. Just 1 month out of warranty the control board failed, so the freezer and the fridge compartments were warm and the control board just flashed. I paid to replace the control board with a new OEM from the manufacturer board, and this part cost me 200.00 But now just yesterday 7 months later the control board stopped working again and did exactly what the original one did. We are 5 days to Christmas and me without and once again without our Frigidaire fridge. 1,050.00 invested now in a small fridge and its just a stainless steel polish on a **.

Worst appliances ever! Bought a dishwasher and refrigerator less than 4 months ago. 1st the dishwasher broke... they are ordering a new part-NOW the refrigerator spits out ice... randomly! Its also the noisiest refrigerator Ive ever heard! Loud noises every 1/2 hr!!! Most regrettable is dealing with the Frigidaire Company. They are unhelpful and rude... sounds like theyre speaking from a script. Wouldnt surprise me as they must have many complaints. Please choose any other brand!!! Believe me you wont be happy!!! Very dissatisfied consumer!!!

We bought an upright freezer on July 15, 2019. It broke Nov 2, 2019. We purchased from Lowe’s, they told us we needed to contact Frigidaire. Of course no one answers the phone on the weekends. Cost me $134.00 for dry ice to keep all my meat frozen. When I called Frigidaire on Monday they couldn’t get a repair person here till Tuesday. I asked if they would cover the dry ice purchase. No that’s my problem. How rude and how bad must their products be if they can’t get someone out here right away. Must have a lot of service calls. Doesn’t say much for their products.

I bought a refrigerator, microwave, stove and a dishwasher in July 2014 from ABC Warehouse in Dearborn Michigan, and both the refrigerator esp. the icemaker broke within 30 days of the purchase. Of course the warranty fix them but ever since the icemaker broke 3 other times and now the items is out of warranty. Today both the microwave and ice maker doesnt work. Frigidaire gallery products is a piece of junk. Never in my life I have own so many lemons that went sour so soon. Lemons suppose to sour but these products are rotten. Im so mad its costing more money for the warranty versus the cost to fix them because the products keep breaking down after the repairs. Close the company. Sad sad sad.

We purchased a suite of Frigidaire Gallery appliances to upgrade our kitchen. We upgraded our kitchen with a suite of Frigidaire Gallery appliances 5-6 years ago. Our household consists of 2 adults 60+ years of age (maybe this will nullify the kid factor). The range failed first - the oven went from temp setting to thermal run-away and burnt everything. We removed it, gave it away and bought a Korean product beginning with the letter L.The refrigerator quit making ice, the freezer defrosted and the refrigerator side went warm. We replaced the ice maker and a thermocouple. The ice maker is still a pain in the **, overfills the bin, shoots out of the dispenser like its fired out of a cannon. Refrigerated items freeze, the vegetable bins insure a short life for new items. The unit moans, groans and sounds like someones trapped inside. Were waiting for a sale and this thing will be GONE. The microwave just expired - DOA. It too was replaced. Next, the dishwasher quit in stages. Certain buttons for wash selection died, other worked. Error codes appeared but could be overridden with a hard reboot (circuit breaker shut off). When PF (power failure) appeared when restarting, it might, on a good day, restart BUT would stop with 48 minutes left in the cycle. Play button push lotto and you might get it to finish wash and rinse - forget drying. Replaced with brand L also. It is beyond fathoming how any Frigidaire kitchen appliance might receive a rating other than DISMAL. My suggestion: research all competitors in your budgeted price range and understand that all manufacturers will have problems .... but the failure of 4 of 4 appliances within 5-6 years? Not likely.

I am absolutely DISGUSTED with the treatment this company has given me. STAY AWAY FROM FRIGIDAIRE!!!! We got an in wall unit last year. They gave us a faulty unit that did not work straight from the box, and had to be replaced with a new one straight after buying it. Barely over a year later, in July, it stopped working again (was not blowing cold). I called Frigidaire for our warranty. They assigned an AC repair company to us. I called this AC professional to set an appointment. On the phone, keep in mind this guy has not seen our AC, our place, or has any idea what the issue is, and he immediately is saying we probably ** it up somehow and its our fault and there is probably nothing they will be able to do.... DUDE YOU HAVENT EVEN SEEN IT YET?!?!!?!? Super rude, condescending, and childish. He was supposed to come out one day, calls an hour into the absurd 8 hour time frame, and says that there are no other appointments in my area, and they are gonna come tomorrow instead. Really? Just because the drive is not worth it for you, you are gonna say eh ** it? Comes next day, and immediately tells me I am improperly dressed and I need to change because I was in shorts... my shorts covered everything important, and were completely appropriate. And even then, MY ** AC IS BROKEN IN JULY AND IM SWEATING LIKE CRAZY. How dare you judge me in my own home! After 2 minutes, he repeats everything he said on the phone, gives me no detailed explanation as to how we messed it up, tells me his signature line he used on the phone, you need to do your research, and leaves. Called my warranty company. The lady calls him to hear his side of the story, he talked over her, yelled at her, and hung up on her. She told me no matter what I did or didnt do, if the AC is malfunctioning, he was required to fix it because it was covered by our warranty. And she is immediately sent me a new company to work with, and said she will definitely be letting management know. Completely ridiculous. So now they send us a NEW guy. He was friendly, recognized the problem, and took the AC. His estimated time frame was 2 weeks. IT HAS BEEN 3 MONTHS!!!! It is almost halfway into fall at this point!!! Frigidaire has done NOTHING to speed up the process. I have been calling non stop. In OCTOBER they are just now telling me that my issue will not be fixed under warranty because the FIRST AC guy said my AC suffered abuse. I demanded the woman call the AC PEOPLE THAT HAVE MY AC!!!! I explained to the woman on the phone the first AC company is NOT even a legitimate company, and that he currently has multiple lawsuits for improper service on ACs. She checked with MY REAL AC company. They stated there was no such abuse or improper installment as stated. FRIGIDAIRE MAY THINK THEY CAN SCAM ME BUT NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. There is nothing I would want more than to get my money back.

What a CHEAP BRAND. We bought brand new house with the FRIGIDAIRE BRAND appliances. From day one we had issue with Fridge door panel and water filter. Never get fixed. We turn on the Range stove and oven it starts making grinding noise. Sound was so loud that makes you scared. Service technician came and mentioned that we would have fire if I was continuing to use it. The fan inside the oven was broken. Top range surface working but the color start coming off. Looks ugly however they don’t cover all this. Ridiculous. Brand new beautiful home with ugly Frigidaire scratched stove. They want you to take additional warranty however they don’t even take responsibility on fixing stuff under one-year warranty. Service people come and they are so rude. When you call the customer service they don’t want to hear anything because they are tired of listening to the complaints all day. Used LG and Samsung Brand in the past. Never ever had an issue at all. We left our 7 years old LG stove which looks 10 times better compare to what I have today with Frigidaire. NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM FRIGIDAIRE

It works well and keeps the bedroom cold like I like it for next to no money extra on the bill. Turn it on for couple hours in the morning and evening and it's great. Works great on the upstairs bedroom better than any other we've had. Makes it cool. Used less than 5 hours a day. Used in peak season during the hottest part of the day. Not big and clunky like some other models. Does what it is supposed to do without being cumbersome or daunting or a sore thumb. Have had it for two years without a problem yet. Get you one for your house now. Really reliable!
