PROBLEMA: El agua no drena

Purchased Samsung Dishwasher Nov. 13, 2013. The unit has failed three times in less than a year. Problem - unit would run about ten minutes and then stop. Failure showed as a drain failure problem. Restart the machine and it would complete total cycle. Main board replaced, no help. The ECS sensor part no. DD82-01118A was replaced and fixed the problem. The unit worked for seven months and the problem has returned. Technician ordered a new ECS sensor. The part has been on back order for three weeks. Looks like Samsung has a design problem.

I bought a $550 Samsung Stainless Steel Dishwasher and then due to delays in the remodel and a simultaneous divorce, only got around to installing the unit just a year and a few days after my date of purchase. The unit gave an error code - bad pump, and never actually worked. Samsung customer support is the most rude, terrible support ever and there is no warranty based on install date, just on purchase date. Appliance repair said the parts cost for the pump is $350 and Im better off throwing this unit away and buying a different brand. Have the same unit in a rental and it works but really doesnt clean well at all. Dont buy Samsung appliances.

Samsung Dishwasher model#DW80H9930US. Purchased in late August 2014; installed in November worked exactly three (3) times. Repair people here 3 times. Should have read the reviews first. This is a defective product and Samsung does not seem to care. We want a replacement or a refund.

I purchased a Samsung Dishwasher from Best Buy, when I had the unit installed I discovered that the kick plate was missing. I called Samsung and requested that they send me the missing part. They took all of the information and gave me instruction on how to send the receipt which I did. After a few days a representative called saying they needed more information. I asked what information they needed and they said they needed the Serial Number and Model Number. When I explained that I already gave them this information the representative put me on a long hold and came back and said not to worry they had everything they needed and that my missing part would be shipped in 7-10 days. Several days later I received an email from Samsung asking for me to upload my receipt to them (which I had already done a few weeks ago). I resent the receipt and then a few days later received another call saying that since the item was purchased as an open box item that they would not provide me with the missing part. Bottom line is that the customer service is very disorganized and inefficient. When I ask them to consider supporting their product and to make an exception to provide me with the part that was missing when delivered to me they refused. Very disappointing experience from Samsungs customer support people.

Dishwasher is 2 and a half years old and does not finish washing cycle. The delicate light turns on during the wash, and the machine stops. We had a Sears tech come out, nice guy, replaced the float on the side and cleaned sensor. Still broken. Said it could be the control panel and replacement was over $300. I called Samsung and they said they couldnt help me. I spent 8 hours trouble shooting this piece of garbage and am looking forward to getting $5.00 at the dump for metal recycling when I tear it out. I will NEVER recommend or buy another Samsung product ever. Just look at their phones. CRAP!!

We finally got an energy efficient washer. We weren’t used to no agitator but googled the difference. The newer washers push water through the clothes vs the old way of pushing the clothes through the water. It fills with only a fraction of water estimated by the weight of the articles. That scared us at first as it didn’t seem to add enough water to possibly wash clothes and get them clean. After more researching and doing loads of laundry. This Samsung has gotten the clothes much cleaner. I don’t like how it takes longer to wash clothes with these machines but it is what it is. The machine is very quiet vs our old ones. We no longer have to shut our laundry room door. We forget it’s even going until it plays a song when done.

I would never recommend Samsung products and the customer service is completely lame. I have a Samsung washing machine that had a recall because the drum wobbled so much. It wobbled so much that it loosened a hose and poured water all over my house…. My laundry is on my second level and I have a cat walk that water poured down into my living room and hallway on my first level and ran through my ceiling on my first level and through my walls down to my basement…leaving water spots on my first level ceiling and damaging several ceiling tiles in my finished basement. I didn’t notice all of the damage and the damaged tiles in the basement until months later when I had another issue with the washing machine and Samsung sent a third-party service company out here to repair it. They repaired the machine and left. Unfortunately, the service company called, Unique Repair (who I would never recommend, as they do not stand behind their work) managed to forget to connect the hose, which led to another incident of water pouring from my second level down my first level and through my walls to the basement. Fortunately, I was able to get the service techs back quickly to stop the machine and drain it, although the damage had already been done. We went into the basement; the service tech also taking his own photos. This second time around the water even damaged more basement ceiling tiles and left stains on my first level ceiling. Both companies, the service company and Samsung are trying to put the blame on each other. How lame of Samsung, since it is Samsung’s faulty washing machine, under warranty and Samsung sent the third party out here to represent them. The first time it happened it was solely on Samsung. The second time on the repair company. Either way, somebody should be responsible for the damage caused in my house. I have suggested to both companies that they split it, but they do not respond and or communicate with each other. Samsung does not stand behind their products. I am an innocent consumer that has been extremely inconvenienced twice by this Samsung washing machine and damage caused to my home, and Samsung support has been completely lame. Nonresponsive and not willing to provide any resolution. I would never recommend purchasing from Samsung. The last I spoke to Samsung customer support she was closing my case, I had no previous knowledge that my case was being closed, because it had been two weeks and she wanted me to provide quotes for the repair. During the world crisis going on it was difficult to get someone out here to quote me on the repair. Actually, It was against the law at the time, as nonessential workers would be fined if working during that time. I finally provided her with one quote and waiting to get another, so she would reopen the case, and she has not responded to me. I’ve reached out multiple times with no response. Seriously, what kind of company operates like this? I am a business owner myself and I would never treat my clients/customers this way. I stand behind my work. I’ve had to spend numerous hours dealing with both companies and getting nowhere. When I did nothing to cause this situation. I’m sure they are hoping to wear me down.

I purchased a Samsung front load washer 15 months ago and have had the same component go out THREE times. The door will not lock and so you have to hold the door until it locks. I have had to have it replaced twice during the warranty period. It went out again a month ago and they refuse to replace it again because I am no longer under the 12 month plan. EVEN THOUGH it is the EXACT SAME COMPONENT that keeps going out. Now I am forced to pay repairs on my own and Im sure it will continue to happen seeing its clearly a flaw in the washer. Customer service was not helpful and I was told there was nothing they could do because I didnt buy the extended warranty.

Purchased Samsung Oven (flex), Washer, Dryer, and Dishwasher. 11/24/2017. Washer completely died last March - unable to fix, wiring harness issue. This week Oven has taken on a life of its own - no matter what you push (including warming drawer) the broiler comes on. You’ll get a C21 overheat warning and door locks. Customer Service gave me the number of a phone repair company to call for repairs. I can promise you I will never purchase anything in future with Samsung on it - absolutely no quality.

Apparently either Consumer Affairs OR Samsung does NOT want reviews of clothes washers as that is no longer a product which can be reviewed. Ours is 3 years old, sat in our basement for nearly a year from the time it was new until we finished our house. Only two people in the house, used once every two weeks. Lots of issues with not filling, not pumping water, not spinning. Samsung says Too bad. You should have paid even more than the $520 so we would fix that piece of crap....sucker!

Purchased 1.5hp split inverter aircon from Emcor Davao City May 5 2018. Unit worked fine for about 5-6 months then started short cycling. Mystic Electronics Service Center Davao was contacted by customer service to be assumed warranty repair provider. Person came out said Lindsey too short so had to pay P6000 To have that fixed. Unit continued to short cycle. Came out again said outdoor motherboard AND compressor overload were both bad...then outdoor blower motor was bad. They replaced all of those items. I have years of AC experience and told the KID that is not the problem. He leaves unit still short cycling so I finally called Manila again and told them MY diagnosis. After further discussion between themselves they agreed to send same KID out to replace the indoor thermistor. The KID damaged my casings on inside unit. Now unit is acting up again with about 3 weeks remaining on warranty. I told them they need to send someone else out as I had banned Mystic from coming inside the property again since he has really no idea what he is doing and no respect for someone elses property....I.e. Indoor portion of the Samsung a.c. NEVER EVER BUY SAMSUNG AIRCON products....unless youre rich and dont mind just throwing your money out the door. Learned my lesson on Samsung. Never again buy their a.c. products.

I and my family are extremely disappointed with a Samsung product (DMR78 Dishwasher). We bought it three years ago and it already stopped working. When asked for support, I was told that a defective part will be provided under warranty, but I should pay for labor to install it. On top of labor, Samsung wants to charge $100 for a service call. This is really bad! This is Samsungs fault, that a relatively new product stopped working (an old GE model worked in our kitchen for 10+ years without a glitch, before we replaced it with DMR). Now, Samsung wants to charge this ridiculous service call charge of $100 on top of the $80 for labor? The total $180 fee for our choice of this product? That’s a very disappointing way to treat your customers, Samsung USA!

After just 1.5 years my $2000 stainless steel Refrigerator Samsung RF 28HFEDBSR is streaked with rust along the grain line. I have never cleaned it with anything but mild soap or stainless oil and damp cloth. Apparently using poor quality stainless is the issue and its not only Samsung that does it. We purchased a top of the line Samsung Dishwasher Model DW80H995OU5/AA. After less than two days of use, it would no longer complete a wash cycle and the door would not stay closed. Upon further inspection we also discover the rear panel of the cabinet was severely bent. After a call to the local dealer, he called back the next day reporting that Samsung would not let him service the machine, but only a Samsung Service Center. Samsung wanted two business days to contact the center to set the appointment. After some discussion they agreed to contact the Local Authorized Service Center (Remedy Appliance Service and Repair) while I was on the line. The Samsung Customer rep. disconnected the line without the connection. I tracked the Authorized Service Center down and offered to pay them to look at the machine. An Authorized Service Representative looked at the machine, determined it was not repairable. He took pictures and told us Samsung would call in one to two business days. They did not. I called Samsung, talking to several service representatives. My request was to remove the machine and return my money, as the machine worked less than 24 hours. The washer cost $1,600. I have now been on the phone with four customer service representatives including executive customer service. I have been told after further extensive processing, I might have my money returned in 14 to 21 days, however the process they describe is about four days, requiring further extensive time on our part. Just horrible service.

The first error code (LC) happened about 4 weeks after install. A week wait for a tech, claimed no problem. Happened again about 5 weeks later. Again, no issue found. Happened again - replaced a part. Happened again. You get the picture. Sent a complaint directly to Samsung in May 2018 requesting replacement of faulty machine (Dishwasher 80M9 series). Was told they had only received ONE repair notice from us (we had logged in SEVEN at that point - since WE hadnt paid for any of the service calls, I have to assume Samsung did!). They sent someone out to repair AGAIN. Happened again in June. JUST had repair here to replace two parts - he was 5 minutes away from the house and it happened yet again. HORRIBLE company to deal with. This should truly be a no star review.

This machine broke down in about 16 months. After repeatedly trying to call Samsung Support, got a call from Samsungs On-Time-Repair for appointment. I paid $95 but the repair person could not fix it, said the computer is broken. He said he will order the necessary part and then call us which has not happened. After repeatedly trying to contact On-Time-Repair, I was informed since the machine is over 1 year old they had to get a confirmation from Samsung that the part is covered. I even told them Let me know how much it will cost if it is not covered but I have not received any response. It has been more than a month now. Bottom Line: Do not buy a Samsung Dishwasher. The washer is appealing looks-wise. It has the extra door in front to add clothing to a load. Its rare youre able to use it b/c washer makes it IMPOSSIBLE so its worthless. Loads take an enormous amount of time to wash. /For example: 1 normal load using hot water takes up to 2.5 hours depending on your settings. Steam setting takes 3-4 hours per load. Theres a quick wash setting that takes 25-35 minutes but it literally washes them for about 2 minutes and it just splashes it with water and tosses it from side to side so it rarely gets clean or smells clean. Laundry takes a ridiculous amount of time. This is no joke. Towels setting can not be set to hot. Theres no ability to customize loads how you want. If you want super hot water you cant use the towel setting. No ability to wash on normal hot for less than 1hr. & 44 minutes. You cannot customize your loads how you want. You have to go with what the machine thinks it knows. Its pre-programmed and customization is not possible. Worst part of this machine is that the laundry does NOT GET CLEAN. The fabric is never submerged in water so it is not appropriate for items like a urine soaked blanket. The urine will not be washed out completely. I would say its less effective than hand washing is. Capacity (load size). Dont let that big drum size fool you. You put lots of laundry in it some will come out not having even gotten wet. Youre working with a 3 deep puddle at the bottom of the drum that is sloshed around splashing the clothes. It breaks down frequently. Ive had my machine less than a year and it has broke down 3 times so far. It does not use sufficient amounts of water. It does not submerge laundry in water. Instead, it sloshes laundry back and forth in a small puddle of a few gallon water. This is equivalent to spot cleaning. The fabric is never submerged in water. It only gets splashed. You cant use hardly any fabric softener. Unless you want to wait for the rinse cycle and put it in then. If you try to add at beginning of cycle you can only put a few tablespoons in if that. If you use more, it will dump into the wash cycle instead. How I deal with it: My boyfriend hacked it so it fills with more water. BUT...it still is not enough to clean so he set up a hose right at the washer site. So in every single load I turn the hose on for around 10 minutes until the clothes are submerged. If you do this prior to turning it on the washer will drain it on you so you have to start the load then add water into the soap dispenser. You cant even use the extra door, its useless. So the hose gets placed in the door of the soap dispenser. So far no issues but its still a pain in the ** but its better than using buckets of water like I did at first. All these complaints for a $1400 machine. Youre better off with a top loader. I think Samsung ought to stick with making their plastic phones or revert back to making clock radios. Leave laundry to the experts like Maytag. I dont want to hear Im using too much soap or too much water, that is untrue. Ive tried their recommendations and got the same poor results.

Nothing but trouble from these appliances and theyre only a year and half old. Ice maker froze up and Went online and saw there is a class action suit. Called Samsung to fix it and after arguing they agreed to fix it for free. Dishwasher doesnt clean very well if you put too many items in it. Stove had to get a new part but thank god it was still under warranty. The appliance repair service Williston in Long Island are extremely rude. Don’t buy Samsung appliances. Stick to tvs.

In general our machine is absolutely perfect. There are a few little idiosyncrasies, like the center cap on top of the lower drum axle, that's made out of plastic. It looks like chrome, but it's plastic. And it breaks at least once a year, and you have to buy one off of eBay or Amazon. The only other complaint is the whole mess around Samsung switching out the labels on the dial because of the betting balance issue. Kind of a pain in the ** really but it was a one-time deal. All in all love this machine.

In Jan 2014, a friend purchased a Samsung Dishwasher. A month later, it started to leak water onto the hardwood floor. Multiple service calls included a trip EACH to 1) verify the unit was actually leaking, 2) order a replacement control unit (supposedly had a software update for the vent actuation, which DID NOT fix the problem), 3) verify the leak was still there, 4) verify the leak was still there, 5) replace the unit with a new one (which started leaking the first cycle), 5) verify the leak, 6) verify the leak, 7) Verify the leak, and that time the Samsung Service Tech recommended we request a refund. We did so, and was told that we would be contacted in 3-5 business days with their solution. On the 5th day, not having heard a peep, we called Samsung to learn from an extremely rude customer service representative that Samsung wanted to attempt repairs until it was fixed. We asked to speak to this persons supervisor AND WERE TOLD WE COULD NOT. PERIOD. So we contacted Best Buy, who was involved in the replacement procedure from a month ago, and after less than 10 minutes, had our refund. 2 lessons on this: 1) Never again ANYTHING with the name SAMSUNG it - phone, TV, Microwave, garbage bag... 2) BEST BUY for any major purchase such as this due to the outstanding customer service.

Water leak inside. 9 years old same old problem. I have to unplug let the ice inside melt. Unload everything. I have no idea how many times I have had to do this. Call Samsung - was told it could not be level (give me a break). Why does it not do it all the time if it is not level, Samsung should come out with a fix for this. Also they told me to call a local Samsung repair, what a joke. I do not think they know how to fix the problem. Why do I want to pay for a service call. UNHAPPY IN TENN.

I purchased a Samsung Dishwasher at Lowes less than 4 months ago. Started having problems. Called my very unhelpful Samsung warranty people. All I got was the runaround. The part that holds the seal in place has come off and it leaks on the floor. They told me that they would send a repairman out and told me that I would have to pay for the service call and that the part was a cosmetic issue and that it is not covered by their so-called warranty that is not worth blowing my nose on it. If there is anyone wanting to do a class action lawsuit I am in. I will never buy a Samsung product as long as I live. Lowes Home Improvement was not any help. I will never spend any of my hard earned money at Lowes ever again.

I purchased all Samsung Appliances for my new home to include Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Oven and Front Load Washer and Dryer. The Refrigerator (Model RF253BEAESR) came in with dents and I have tried numerous times to get Samsung to repair and they have refused my requests. They sent someone to verify the dents and the repairman did confirm my complaint but Samsung still refuses to repair. Samsung does not stand by their product and I will never purchase Samsung products again.

Samsung Dishwasher Model #DMR 78AHS - I have only had this product 18 months and have had to replace the upper washing rack brackets twice. Once by home in-service repair, which was covered under warranty and then again by myself, which cost me $35 to repair. This is clearly a design flaw issue where the small plastic holders on the bracket break off and can potentially get inside the unit and cause it to make a grinding sound, which is unpleasant when you are expecting a quiet product. This is what happened to me. I have spoken to Samsung personnel and J & J International (supply part company) about the product flaw and neither company will admit there is a problem or provide reimbursement. Both keep referring me back to the other one. I have also sent e-mails to the CEO and Consumer Voice.

Purchased a Samsung Dishwasher in 2017. The fan has blown for the 4th time in 2 years.. They apparently upgraded the fan in 2019, so I figured I would fork out the money and pay for that instead of just tossing this thing. Took a few months and that piece of garbage stopped working as well. Custom support is zero help - cant confirm if there has been a recall, what part is correct. Have been waiting for their superiors to contact me forever. Joke of a company. Do not buy their appliances.
