Danby Washer Warranty
LIMITED APPLIANCE WARRANTY
A Danby-certified product is warranted to be free from the manufacturer’s defects in material and workmanship, provided that the unit is used under the normal operating conditions intended by the manufacturer.
This warranty is available only to the person to whom the unit was originally sold by Danby Products Limited (Canada) or Danby Products Inc. (U.S.A.) (hereafter “Danby”) or by an authorized distributor of Danby, and is non-transferable.
TERMS OF WARRANTY
Plastic parts are warranted for thirty (30) days only from the purchase date, with no extensions provided.
First Year - During the first twelve (12) months, any functional parts of this product found to be defective, will be repaired or replaced, at the warrantor’s option, at no charge to the ORIGINAL purchaser.
To obtain service - It will be the consumer’s responsibility to transport the appliance (at their own expense) to a service depot for repair. Contact your nearest Service authorized Danby service depot, where service must be performed by a qualified service technician. If service is performed on the unit by anyone other than an authorized service depot, or the unit is used for commercial application, all obligations of Danby under this warranty shall be void.
Nothing within this warranty shall imply that Danby will be responsible or liable for any spoilage or damage to food or other contents of this appliance, whether due to any defect of the appliance, or its use, whether proper or improper.
EXCLUSIONS
Save as herein provided, Danby, there are no other warranties, conditions, representations, or guarantees, express or implied, made or intended by Danby or its authorized distributors, and all other warranties, conditions, representations, or guarantees, including any warranties, conditions, representations or guarantees under any Sale of Goods Act or like legislation or statue is hereby expressly excluded. Save as herein provided, Danby shall not be responsible for any damages to persons or property, including the unit itself, howsoever caused or any consequential damages arising from the malfunction of the unit and by the purchase of the unit, the purchaser does hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Danby from any claim for damages to persons or property caused by the unit.
GENERAL PROVISIONS
No warranty or insurance herein contained or set out shall apply when damage or repair is caused by any of the following:
1) Power failure.
2) Damage in transit or when moving the appliance.
3) Improper power supply such as low voltage, defective house wiring, or inadequate fuses.
4) Accident, alteration, abuse, or misuse of the appliance such as inadequate air circulation in the room or abnormal operating conditions (extremely high or low room temperature).
5) Use for commercial or industrial purposes (ie. If the appliance is not installed in a domestic residence).
6) Fire, water damage, theft, war, riot, hostility, acts of God such as hurricanes, floods, etc.
7) Service calls resulting in customer education.
8) Improper Installation (ie. Building-in of a free-standing appliance or using an appliance outdoors that is not approved for outdoor application). Proof of purchase date will be required for warranty claims; so, please retain the bill of sale.

Pros: small, quiet, does a great job, quick, lasted for years (did about 3 loads a day.) affordable, honestly a great product Cons: wheels didn't really roll that well.
I'm no stranger to portable washers, having used a twin-tub prior to this purchase easily made this an upgrade. This has simplified my laundry woes and made me a happy camper!
April 2020 I ordered the above washing machine. It worked for four months. At which point it stopped spinning the water out on at least the last cycle. I was given no option but to email a repair request. In response I was given a list of repair shops, all over an hour away. The one shop on the list that actually repaired washing machines refused to come because of the distance. Next Danby expected me to do their work to find and contact a local shop to do the repair with the promise Danby would pay them. Horse**. Im still sitting here with a broken washer. I dont have the money to buy a new one and they wont honor their warranty. So, instead I pick and choose what to bring to a laundromat half an hour away each week. Dont buy. Itll break in months and youll be stuck.
Great little washer for apartments that don't have washer/dryer hookups
Live in a condo with no washer hookup in my unit. This machine is perfect for me. I intentionally keep the loads small, (one queen sheet and pillow case a bath towel and some t-shirts), so as not to overload. Two queen sheets would work but it seemed kind of full. Hooks up easily to my bathroom faucet and rolls easily back into the walk-in closet when I'm done. Spin cycle gets clothes much drier than the washer I had been using in our laundry room.
I purchased this washer because I live in an apartment and was tired of hauling cloth diapers back and forth and spending a ton at the laundromat. After 3 months of heavy use, I still LOVE it. Sure, it's tiny. A full load is 3 pr of jeans, or 4 days worth of shirts, socks, & underwear. Or in my case, 2-3 days worth of cloth diapers. But it cleans effectively, has multiple cycle options, and hooks up to a standard bathroom faucet & sink drain. My only real complaint is that it drains automatically if you put the drain hose below the level of the water in it. So the first time I used it, before I put the rubber band around the fill hose to attach the drain hose, it slid out of my sink & flooded my bathroom. And again when my curious crawler got away from me and pulled the drain hose loose from the rubber band, it flooded my bathroom. You cannot drain it into the bathtub, only into a sink because of the height.
