This dishwasher gets the job done. The dishes come out clean and look brand new, and the dishwasher is easy to clean. I'd highly recommend this dishwasher. This dishwasher is a pretty good size. I would suggest getting a bigger one if you have more/bigger dishes. I'm happy with this product for my dishes, but not completely satisfied. I usually don't care about the appearance of appliances, but this dishwasher is a lovely model. This dishwasher is good for its value. It was worth it, and I'd highly recommend getting it. This dishwasher works so good, I feel like I got a deal for the price I paid for it.

We purchased a Maytag dishwasher mdb7749sbm1 in 2014 and have had nothing but problems with it since it was delivered. Within a year of owning it, the top jet fell off. We had it replaced and the repairman warned us that it would probably come off again due to a faulty latching system. In the last six months one of the brackets that holds the upper shelf has broken off and the dishwasher leaks every time we use it.My last cycle leaked so bad that essentially it completely soaked the extra large bath towel we place in front of it and travelled halfway through my kitchen. Not to mention that it never washed dishes well, regardless of what cycle we use, which/how little or much detergent/rinse agent and it does not filter at all, as there's debris all over my dishes and glasses. I am now looking to replace it before like other reviewers a control panel fire occurs. Strongly recommend staying away from this brand.

There's nothing special about the appearance and would fit into any kitchen decor that does not require a high tech modern look. Appearance is comparable to other dishwasher units in its class. Size of the unit allows it to fit into most, if not all under the counter openings in most modern kitchens. Plenty of room to connect hoses and drains, and should not pose a problem during most installations. Normal wash cycle gets the job done if no caked on messes on dishes. Nothing great about this dishwasher, but it does the job for a reasonable price. Mid priced dishwasher unit that provides all of the required dishwashing functions. Even repairs and maintenance can be done at a reasonable price so the overall value is good.

We have had our Maytag dishwasher MDB9100AWQ only 5 years and now it keeps shutting off. I see there is plenty of this complaint. I will not purchase another Maytag product after reading all these reviews and experiencing it.

Purchased a KitchenAid dishwasher from Home Depot on their recommendation. The machine was absolutely quiet for 6 months. Then the troubles started, Noisy - can hear in next room, grating noise on occasion and loud clicking when starting. Sent repairman, replaced control unit, then replaced motor assembly, then came and said they tested and everything was ok. Turned on machine and it was whirring loudly and repairman said sounds normal. Called KitchenAid to complain as well as Home Depot. Depot said not their problem but connected us to KitchenAid as they didn't answer the two calls I made and left messages. I won't bore you with any more details except to tell you to stay away from this brand and the parent company Whirlpool. Horrible customer service and worse product. Their people are rude and simply don't care. I had to give them a one star even though they deserve minus two, also beware of Home Depot. They could've pressured KitchenAid but didn't. Worst appliance I have ever purchased, never again!!! Run from this brand.

Poor Samsung customer service! My dishwasher was broken after using it for second time. Fine! A technician came and reported it as an unrepairable issue in Jul. Then, it took 2 MONTHS to get replace approval! However, I got a call from Samsung after confirming with me to replace a new unit in Sep, said there is no available inventory near my area (Baltimore, MD), "We (Samsung) are gonna refund you the dishwasher." So far (Oct), the case is still pending, the broken dishwasher is still in my kitchen! Never and ever buy Samsung products!!! Terrible customer service!!! Poor internal communication!!! I'm running out of my patience!!!

Updated on 05/30/2020: As I stated in previous review this dishwasher has a manufacturing problem and LG refuses to do anything because it been too long!! It was made without railing on the bottom and that's why the basket keeps falling inside the machine. To refresh, they sent me about a year ago 2 new baskets, which of course didn't help. I don't know anything about machinery so I wasn't aware of the problem. A very nice problem resolver named Sean called and took pictures and told me what the problem was in the manufacturing and that he would resolve my problem and would be calling me in 1 HOUR. Well, it's been 5 days and NO CALL!! Each time I have called customer service for an update they get snooty with me and keep giving me the run around. I WILL NOT be purchasing anymore LG products they do not stand by their products. For Sean who said he would help go to hell!!Original Review: LG makes an excellent washer with the exception of my lower basket. From day one I've had a problem with it and LG sent me another one and it lasted less than 1 year. The bottom basket falls off the runner constantly and I am a senior that would prefer not to have to lift the entire basket filled with dishes to try to push it backside the washer. The model # is LDT9965BD and I bought it a Best Buy and Best Buy refused to help me. So I've had this washer for 3 years and everyday the same problem. If I could buy another dishwasher I would. Also the things on the top and bottom move and I have to keep adjusting them and the utensil holder is a problem as it breaks apart and now is permanently broken. I could live with the others things. It's the bottom basket running off the rails everyday that is challenging. LG will not resolve this issue so I live with this aggravation on a daily basis.

I bought a Maytag dishwasher just 15 months ago. Worked fine for the first 12 months. Then literally, a few short weeks after the warranty expired, the buttons on the control panel started acting up. The normal button, when pushed, would light up the delay hours. The light cycle would make the rinse only come to life. It was beyond frustrating. My husband would unplug it to reset it and that worked for two weeks but now, nothing. It won't work at all. I'm FURIOUS, considering we spent $450 on this thing and now its useless. I had a Kitchen-Aid that I loved but due to cost, decided to get this hunk of junk. I learned my lesson..Maytag, you should be ashamed you make such horrible products.

Bought a LG dishwasher in October 2016, due to shipping issues did not get until December, installed myself, first use it took about 6 hours to complete a cycle, and dishes were still dirty, soap dispenser never opened. Called Lowe’s, they told me to call LG, and they would schedule a service call. Well they set up one for 30 days from a lawnmower company? They came, said I had a loose wire, my fault, well before they got very far away dishwasher quit. Well to make a long story short, here it is August 18, and my dishwasher still does not work. LG keeps turning me over to AE service which I don't know who is more useless, every time they schedule someone I get a phone call within a few days of appointment from a service tech that either tells me I am too far away to service, or they no longer service LG due to not being paid, some say they cannot get parts, or get wrong parts. I have been told 3 times by LG service that I was being escalated to a buy back since I have had so many problems, but keep getting the run around. Today I was offered to buy an extended warranty, what a joke. At this rate it will be out of warranty before I ever see a repairman, she agreed, and said that’s a good reason to buy this extended repair warranty. If anyone wants to call me ** I am ready to get people together to contact the Better Business Bureau, if they have had the same issue, someone need to stand up for our consumer rights. I don't even have mine hooked up, gave 15 year old General Electric away, and never had a problem with it, brother in law loves it.

Horrible, I got this piece of garbage about 4 months ago for my mother that has rheumatoid arthritis and has a hard time with the dishes. I have yet to enjoy a full load of clean dishes!! At first they said it was a connection problem, then they said the hose was not at the right angle, then they said it was the door that had a problem. After we received the part that was supposedly defective for the door and I was assured it would work. I open the dishwasher and pull out the rack, I find the top sprayer loose at the bottom of the dishwasher. This is ridiculous!! I am paying monthly for a dishwasher that I have not been able to use and everybody just gives me the runaround that it's gonna work... A bunch of baloney. I am never buying anything from brandsmart again and I wanted to warn everybody else not to buy a Samsung dishwasher!!
