Works like a dishwasher should! No rinsing before loading dishes. It's so quiet, I forget it's running. Exterior is very sleek. The capacity is unbelievable. It will hold all dinner dishes, serving dishes, pots/pans for at least 2 full meals for 4 people...and then some. It cleans my stainless cookware to a perfect shine. So glad I went with Bosch.

I have had several problems with my freezer since I bought it. I have sent it to service several times. Its parts have changed several times. But after 2-3 months, we are in the beginning. When they last came to service, they said it is a flaw and its guarantee ended and they wanted 450 YTL to give me a new one. I didnt give it. I couldnt trust because I have given money for the repair several times. It doesnt work and I cant eat anything at home. Please give attention to my problem and give me a new one as soon as possible.

We replaced another brand refrigerator after only four years because of constant ice maker repairs. We shopped long and hard for another one and were told by most salesmen and our own online research that the number one refrigerator repair for all brands was through-the- door ice makers. We also needed a counter depth model, not many out there. We're on our second Bosch dishwasher now and couldn't be happier with it. So, the Bosch brand and in freezer bin type ice maker sold us. Best Buy is now into the appliance business big time, we got it there and were very happy with the sales person and their delivery/installation. This really is a well designed product. We are replacing a 22 Cu ft. side by side and actually get more food in this model and more importantly, can find it. The refrigerator was delivered two months ago and our only problem so far is of course, the ice maker. The ice maker replenishment time hasn't been a problem for us as we are a couple only and the ice bin holds a lot of ice, and after no ice half of the time with our old refrigerator, the sound of ice dropping into the bin was most welcome, but the taste of the ice cubes (stale water or soapy like taste) has been. We had a Bosch repairman check and verify the problem. He replaced the inlet valve a week ago, as according to him, it is the only metal part that could be causing the taste and that was all he could do. One week later we still have the stale taste, it may not be the refrigerator, but we are using the same copper connecting tubing that our old refrigerator used, and our city water taste is fine. We are now using plastic ice cube trays and water out of the sink in the Bosch freezer to make useable ice? Another minor problem was a squeaky upper freezer drawer (yep, where the ice maker bin is located). Bosch repair recommended something called ( Food Grade Silicone spray), hard to find, try (Ace Hardware), that worked and the problem was solved. We really like this refrigerator and hope this gets resolved (Bosch, are you reading this review?) As the price of refrigerators now approach that of a good used car, we can't afford to keep buying them every few years!

I would give a negative start if it was possible. My Bosch microwave began turning on by itself. I purchased it with a paid warranty. I called Bosch in early February and they set up a time for someone to fix it in early March. The Bosch repairmen came and said he fixed it, however, the issue reappeared moments after he left. I called back. They set up another appointment and the repairmen did not show up when he was supposed to (of course they never gave me any notice). I called back and set up another appointment. Of course, the repairmen never showed up. I called Bosch and complained to a manager (who was the rudest manager I ever spoke with). He set up another appointment. This time the repairmen actually showed up with the parts but then informed me that the parts they ordered wont fix the issue. So they had to order different parts. So I set up another appointment for today. Surprise surprise, the Bosch repairmen never showed up (again with no notice). In summary, during the past 5 months, I have set up 5 appointments and have had 3 no shows (without any notice). I have complained to Bosch US, Bosch UK, and Lowes. I filed a formal written complaint to Lowes. I have spent over 15 hours calling Bosch. I have complained to 4 managers to no avail. 2 managers were supposed to call me back but they didnt. I am at a loss for what to do. Now all I want is my warranty money back or a new microwave. Can anyone help me????

We purchased our Bosch Nexxt 500 Series washer on 7-10-2007 and within a few weeks noticed that our laundry smelled musty and that the whites were no longer white. The smell worsened to the point where I hold my breath when using a washcloth as I wash my face. When I called Lowes I was reminded to use only one tablespoon of high energy detergent, use Affresh Grit Grabber to wipe down the door gasket and the rubber boot of the tub and keep the door ajar. This same information was provided me by Bosch Consumer Service. I also run an empty load with vinegar/bleach every couple weeks. The door stays ajar at all times except when running a load of laundry. There have been times when so little water enters the machine that the laundry comes out still dry in areas but the worst is the bad smell of our laundry. I am so very disappointed in my waste of a thousand dollars and embarrassed that I still have this Energy Efficient washer but dont know where to turn.

We bought our Bosch Dishwasher from Appliances Connection 2/12/2012, it arrived on 2/22/2012. Our contractor hooked it up on 2/27/2012, he ran a rinse cycle all seemed fine. We ran our first real dishwasher load on the 27th and it kept showing an E-15 error, the dishwasher did not ever finish the first real job. We called Appliances Connection, they told us this is a Bosch problem and they must do the repair work per the warranty. We have had two repair dates with the authorized Bosch repair technician. On March 6th, the Bosch repair tech said that it must be the pump that needs to be replaced. He also confirmed our plumber had made all the correct water connections. On March 14th, another Bosch repair tech came and worked over 2 hours on the dishwasher and could not get it fixed. We contacted Bosch and discussed the problem with their associate. We requested a replacement of our new dishwasher immediately. They made it clear this was not going to happen, as it is new and they will continue to repair until corrected. This is not right! This dishwasher is a lemon. We paid $866 for this machine and almost a month later, we still have only a broken down, unusable dishwasher. (For us that is an incredible amount of money as we are both senior citizens.) Even the repair technicians were frustrated with the way they were communicated to by the Bosch technologist who was giving them instructions on how to fix the machine (they do not have a repair booklet even for their authorized repair techs). I am totally unhappy and disgusted with their service. They should not be allowed to let their customers be held hostage to a brand new, broken dishwasher. What is our recourse now? Please help me in any way to make this right. I see your box below, we cannot afford an attorney. Thank you.

So here is the review after one month of Bosch Refrigerator usage. 1. Received a faulty Refrigerator. The technician who visited for the demo did not know anything about the product apart from where to store the vegetables as if we have never had a refrigerator before. Since my LED was not working and when asked the technician his answer was This fridge has no LED or any lights. Anyways called Bosch called me for the confirmation of Demo where instead complained, they sent a technician to fix it and I observed that this guy did not even know to to open the LED panel. After experimenting he was able to open but he had got some other lights which were not compatible to this fridge, 3 weeks later again a technician visited who again experimented and failed to fix the LED and left with the Refrigerator complete useless as the cooling had also stopped. Now after all this after a month call to Bosch who promised what not, We will put this on Priority, Urgent, within 24hrs. Bla bla bla. Four days today and no technician has yet visited. Overall a poor brand in terms of service. Would not recommend. Have been using Samsung for years and no complaints and also the customer support is quick and reliable.

Let me start by saying I have lived in 2 apartments with a combined total of 6 Bosch appliances, 3 of which have failed. In my old apartment, we had the Axxis Washer and Dryer (top/bottom) units. The dryer never dried. After numerous service calls which my landlord paid for, it finally worked. The washer also leaked water extensively, causing the hardwood floor boards to come up.In my new apartment, we have the exact same washer and dryer which have worked fine. Problem? The cooktop and oven. Both failed the same exact month. The cooktop igniter would not stop clicking and the electric oven would not heat, even though it was receiving power and all else functioned. I had a technician from Bosch who came to diagnose. He knew less about ovens than he did English. Could not understand a word he said. He fussed around with the cooktop for an hour and proclaimed some part to be broken. Cost? $800. Are you for real? The cooktop NEW is $700. As for the oven, he claimed the element needed replacement. Cost? $1000. I kicked him out of my house and they still billed me $160 for the service call. Bosch, you are the absolute worst. I will never buy an appliance from you again.

Purchased new Bosch dishwasher from Lowes. Took 2 weeks to be delivered from the Lowes warehouse. When installed by the Lowes plumbers, the panel showed electrical errors. The installers called Bosch Service, service person could only say it must be installed incorrectly. Lowes replaced. Did not know you had to clean the dishes before loading the dishwasher. After the first load, water stands in the bottom of the dishwasher and stinks. Cleaned as recommended by the owners manual. I did not know you would have to wipe the insides down also. Water still stands and stinks. We thought Bosch was an excellent product until now.

Do not buy Bosch if you expect a good experience with any customer service
Do not buy Bosch if you expect a good experience with any customer service needs. At the end of 2017 I renovated my kitchen and purchased all Bosch appliances. In May 2019 the magnetron of my microwave failed. Granted, it was now out of warranty, but why the magnetron should have failed so soon was unimaginable. The Sharp microwave I replaced had worked seamlessly for 30 years. The repair cost me almost $400 (the microwave was $1200). I contacted Bosch by email and by phone and was told there was nothing they could do in consideration of this premature (my word) need for such a repair. Perhaps it might have been different if I had reported this prior to authorizing the repair (I did use the preferred repair service on the Bosch website). How was I to know that?! I told the supervisor I spoke with, as well as the customer service rep that emailed me, that they could expect poor reviews posted on as many websites as I could find. No one seemed to care. Buy these appliances at your own peril.

My wife and I bought a new home in January. It came with Bosch appliances. Within a few weeks the dishwasher started leaking a lot of water. I called Bosch and they sent a repairman out to check it. The repairman decided that it couldnt be fixed and would require a new dishwasher. He called Bosch and they said they needed proof of home purchase, which we gave them. Although my wife filled out all of the warranty information when we bought the house. The information that we sent to Bosch showed our names, address, closing date and the information on the house. We didnt include any information that had social security #s or financial information. Bosch continues to ask for the full 40 pages of my closing information and we refuse. Again, financial information, social security #s etc. are really none of their business. We have talked to them and asked them to tell us what else we can send them specifically and they cant tell us however, my dishwasher continues to leak on my floor and new cabinets and Bosch continues to say that they need 48 hrs. to run this by their bosses. The bottom line is that this is a 5-month old appliance that is bad and Bosch continues to play games to avoid honoring their own warranty. Why did we fill out the warranty cards in the first place if they cant use them. I will never recommend Bosch appliances to anyone. Not because we have a problem with their product. Anything can happen. But their desire to avoid repairing or replacing their defective product shows me that they have no desire to do the right thing.

Our Bosch dishwasher has held up, but our Bosch stove has not. It is only 11 years old and we are replacing it. At the time it was a fairly expensive ($1,599) compared to other models. It was only a few years (probably shortly after the one-year warranty) and one of the top burners went out. Then after using the self-clean only for three or four years the lock went so it was not possible to use the self-clean function anymore. The worst feature was that we replaced the igniter four times! My husband is very handy and could do this without problems. However the last two years, the igniter would stop working with greater frequency and the last time it smelled gas when we replaced it, so I am not using the oven at all until my new one arrives. I do use the oven a lot - we bake all our own bread, but an oven should last longer than this. I never felt the broiler worked well either. All and all I was disappointed with this purchase. Appliances do not last as long as they used to (I am told that 11 years is the average), but I would never spend that much money for an oven again. Going with a cheaper model of a different brand now.

Purchased new in 2004. Main range burner (right front) never did feel right, rough to turn and if you put it to the wrong spot (nice light simmer), it would go out, but the gas would still run. New Years Eve 2007, the oven burner quit at about 3:00 in the afternoon, part way thru cooking a massive prime rib roast. The electric starter came on and glowed, the gas valve opened but the oven burner wouldnt light. Phoned the dealer (Midland Appliances) and asked them for help, they told me that they could have someone out in about two weeks. Since I was in the middle of preparing a dinner for 10, I finished the roast on the BBQ. It didnt turn out that well, since its hard to cook outside at -20C. Took it all apart the next day and determined that the orifice was plugged/blocked so I cleaned it out with a needle file. About once or twice per year, ever since, same problem. Orifice fouled, and the gas doesnt flow. Eventually the electric starter failed, so I replaced it. Had to order from an outside vendor, as per manufacturer website. Part was delivered, oven back in operation, regular orifice cleanings (and failed meals) continued. In 2011, the main range burner finally failed. It was on and when I tried to turn it down, something broke internally on the shaft. Had to shut the gas off to the entire unit, because the valve wouldnt close. So we are without oven or range. No parts available in our city, again, so I had to order from the outside vendor and have shipped. Five days total without an oven or range top. Many meals outside of the home and many take out meals delivered. New valve installed and the same rough feeling as the original valve. I am probably going to have to replace it again in a few years.November 29, 2013 my wife calls me at work, oven not coming on again. Okay, have to pull the oven out again and clean the orifice, I guess?? Well not this time, now the valve for the baking half of the oven has failed. Electric starter comes on, voltage changes to the valve, but the valve doesnt open. Order the valve ($161) from the outside vendor, four days later it arrives, two hours to install and the oven is back in operation.December 21, 2013 (yesterday) and were having family for early Christmas dinner. About 1:00PM, I turned the oven on to start our turkey and the electric starter glows but the gas valve doesnt open. I hear the solenoid for the starter click and it glows and about a minute later I should hear the valve for the gas open but I dont. Turkey is back in fridge, called the local Chinese take out place for ($185) worth of food. I will pull it apart again on Wednesday (Christmas day) but I suspect that the (new) valve is defective. And on, and on, it goes.Other observations: Well the fit and finish on the visible parts of the oven are quite nice, the guts of it are a mess. Screws dont line up with hole, many are stripped or over tightened. The sheet metal is of the lightest gauge possible and often wires are installed and poorly secured. The adjustable legs dont secure very well and as a result every-time you move the unit, it has to be re-leveled. The unit appears to be made in Mexico, and the range valve was also Mexican made, so I guess its goodbye to German quality.Long and short, this range has been very problematic and I will NEVER buy another Bosch appliance, small or large. And since I am a vengeful sort, I will probably not buy/install Bosch vehicle (starters, alternators) parts either.

I ordered a display circuit board for my Bosch oven. The display magically fixed itself by the time the part arrived, so I called Bosch to a coordinate return. My problem is with Boschs mandatory 25% restocking fee, and with the information I had to provide in order to secure my timely refund. The circuit board, the box in which it arrived in I never opened, cost $106. I paid $26.50 to restock a circuit board thats probably 1/8 thick, and 6 x 3 in size. Theres no effort to put this unused part back on the shelf. But it is what it is, and Bosch makes that clear in their return policy. While exorbitant, it wasnt a surprise. I just thought thered be more flexibility. After all, Im not returning a refrigerator. So as I moved through the return process, I had to provide a model number for the oven. If I didnt, the refunds would be delayed. I asked the representative why that mattered, and that it should have no bearing on my return. They have the part number, so that should be enough. I also commented that theyre charging me 25% to restock, so maybe they should figure that out. Representative was very polite, but said several times that her hands were tied. In the end, I provided much more information than is required to return the part, especially when considering theyre charging $25 to restock a circuit board whose connection to my return will be irrelevant when they sell it again. If Bosch is this complex and penalizing for their returns, I hate to think what happens when I have an actual problem with their products.

Bosch 500 Series HBE5451UC - From installation forward the oven would not heat up to temperature. We bought it through Sears. I called Sears Repair twice. They just gave me the runaround wanting me to bake various things and keep track of how long they took to bake. Sears was not interested in my problem. Called the Bosch Service line. They gave me the name of and excellent repair service that would drive 60 miles to my home in the mountains. The repair technician evaluated the oven and found it had a bad board, I suppose circuit board. It took 3 visits from the repair tech. The wrong board was first sent. Once the correct board was installed the oven is reaching temperature. However it continues to not bake good evenly. It bakes things faster in the back of the oven than at the front. I have to watch or bread or cake will be burned in the back of the oven while still pale at the front. The baking rails are a real danger. There is only one pair of rails with the oven. I tried to buy a second pair so I could bake 2 pans at a time and they are not available. So, I tried inserting a pan without the rails. It is very dangerous!! You have to be very careful or the pan falls out and would dump its contents on the floor. So, the oven has very limited use with only one usable rack for a pan limiting how much one can back at a time. This is the 3rd wall oven we have had in this cabinet in the 40 years we have lived in the house. It is 34 inches up from the floor. Every time I open the oven it blows hot air into my face fogging my glasses. I have to step back and wait for my glasses to clear before I can check or remove whatever is baking. As a Public Health Nurse I am concerned this oven has too many safety issues and is a menace to the consumer.

We bought a Bosch premium dishwasher in 1998, and it gets very light use. In 2004, the dishwasher wouldnt work properly. We were required to replace the computer control module, at a cost of $320.73 (not covered by warranty). This past summer, the dishwasher again malfunctioned. Again, it was the computer control module, which was replaced at a cost of $459.00. I spoke to a consumer representative at Bosch, who said that the time involved was beyond the expected life of computer parts. In other words, a premium Bosch product should be expected to have its main component die twice over a seventeen year period of very light use, with repair costs roughly equal to the units initial purchase price. Some premium product! Some company!

From the beginning I could see that the new machine did not clean my dishes as well as the old one. I have done everything the manual suggests and I am still dissatisfied with the performance. When I called Customer Service today the woman was not at all helpful, especially when she saw that I am two months past my 1-year warranty. However, he was not able to come out for service until the following week. I called back the customer service number again and the individual was willing to order the control unit but the computer system was down and I would have to call back on Monday. When I called back, the service representative refused to order the part. After frustration, I ordered the part myself and fixed the dryer myself. Boschs warranty is not worth anything and I will not purchase another one of their appliances.

We bought a Bosch gas range four years ago. I did the research and consumer reports said it was the best. Within the year, the front door wouldnt close completely. We had the company we bought it from come and fix it; it was still under the one-year warranty that time. Life was wonderful, except that the front knobs were a little loose from the heat that had been escaping with the door not closed. When the new hinges failed (again, less than a year after being installed), I called the store again, and had them come back and do it again. They gave me a hefty bill for it, which I disputed, since it was only a matter of months since it had been fixed. The one-year warranty was only from the date of purchase, so I paid it.Last summer, the door started its migration from the frame once again so, being the clever ** that I am, I propped the door shut with a kitchen chair. We really struggled to shut it enough for Thanksgiving dinner, and hadnt used it since. Our Vermont Castings gas grill was our primary cooking device--everything from apple pie to ziti--ever since.I bit the bullet last month and had them come again. They did half the work as they had to order a door repair kit (obviously, we are not the first to experience this). Now, with the new door kit and replacement knobs, we are looking forward to another 10 months (hopefully) of having an oven. Our broiler hasnt worked since it was fixed, but I havent complained about it because I cant afford to.

My experience with a Bosch dishwasher was having it hang up during a cycle and not shut off. This was the first month I used it. Turns out it was under recall for a control board failure that had caused fires. Unfortunately only a licenced Bosch repair company could do the warranty work. Closest and only (?) one in OR is 90 mins away. Control board costs half of what a good competitor brand machine costs. Since having it fixed, if the machine gets interrupted by power bump, door open, off button pressed, or anything, then it loses its place and is a nightmare to reset. Try googling how to reset one. Note the multiple ways given and question how or why there are so many. If I can just get it to drain this time, I have a Maytag waiting in the kitchen to take its place.

Our Bosch dishwasher, model #SHE43P22UC/64, has so far had no issues cleaning but we have had to replace the plastic control panel 3 times and it is broke again. Apparently, opening the dishwasher is too much for it to handle and it continually cracks and pulls off of the dishwasher. Have had to tape it together for right now because the cost of repairing it again is just too costly for the labor and service call. Will never buy a Bosch again. They arent worth the extreme expense and they dont stand by their products nor do they respond to complaints.

We have three Bosch appliances so rule our bad luck and rule in crappy production and terrible quality. Panel on our microwave failed after a year. Our Bosch fridge (less than 2 years old) - water spout kept pouring continuously and then the ice crusher would come on intermittently. We could not leave home without putting buckets and towels on the floor. Our dishwasher, our last hope for calm, started leaking at the seal on the sides... DO NOT BUY BOSCH. I appreciate that Bosch has very high ratings. We may just be the unlucky ones to get faulty appliances, but our experience has been quite the opposite of high ratings. We remodeled our kitchen 5 years ago. We bought all Bosch appliances: refrigerator, built-in oven, induction stove top, microwave, dishwasher. About a year ago (so the appliances were 4 years old), the oven started overheating when we tried to clean the oven or have it on a high bake temperature for more than a few minutes. The oven would shut off and there was an error message on the panel that indicated overheating. We had it checked by the local authorized dealer and made several calls to Bosch. In essence, we were told that it is overheating--thats all! Well, we knew that. This has been going on for a year, and we havent received any solution from phone calls or visits.A few days ago, we tried to clean it again because something spilled in the bottom of the oven. It again overheated and shut down. Today, we were having people over for brunch. We set the oven to Bake with the temp at 400, and put the bacon in. We went back to check the bacon when it should have been done, and the oven and bacon were stone cold! We assumed we had not turned it on properly, so we again hit bake, set the temp to 400, and hit enter. Again, nothing. Our oven is completely dead, and it is just slightly older than 5 years! The oven panel displays all the right settings as if it is heating, but the oven remains cold. Again, with the rave reviews Bosch gets, we expected the oven to last more than 4 years before starting to have problems. As a matter of fact, with the price we paid, along with the reviews, we frankly thought that the oven would outlast us!Now for the refrigerator. Our self-defrost and icemaker have been malfunctioning. Again we called the local authorized dealer/repairmen, who came to look at it. He identified the problem and ordered a part to fix it. That was 4 months ago, and the part to fix it has yet to be shipped to the local dealer/repairmen. So although the problem was identified in August, it is now December and still no solution to our refrigerator. My husband has made several phone calls both to Bosch and to the local number, but to no avail. As you can see, I cannot in good conscience, recommend Bosch appliances to anyone. As a matter of fact, I would highly recommend not to go with Bosch. We have to replace our oven and probably our refrigerator, and we will absolutely not choose Bosch!

I dont recommend the Bosch stackable dryer. Drying sheets is a pain since the dryer rolls them up in a ball; if you dont shake them out every few minutes, the inside stays damp. The sensor doesnt work, so you have to keep adding time to the dryer. And things take much longer to dry than they should. The dryer I have is new; I was very happy with my 15-year-old dryer and thought a new one would be an upgrade. I was very badly mistaken.

Have an expensive 8 yr old Bosch refrigerator. Already replaced water pump (about $400.) now door handle broke off at bottom. Bosch CS is worthless. Most repair services dont handle bosch - cant readily get parts. Those that do wont give prices - they want $100 service call to diagnose prob and then order parts for 2nd visit. And cant get price of new handle without a costly visit -- some scam theyve got going. It also never produces enough ice. Supposed to be stainless steel - aside from not being stainless its not magnetic - so what kind of SS is it really. My opinion is to never buy bosch anything.

I bought an entire Bosch kitchen last summer. I was cleaning last month and noticed rust and pitting on the door of the fridge. I called Bosch and they asked me to send in pictures to file a claim, so I did my best to show the pitting in the pictures but the surface glare made it difficult. About 2 weeks after I sent in my official claim email I get a response (the initial receipt of the email said I would hear back within 5 business days).Bosch informs me that rust is a surface cosmetic issue and not covered under the warranty so I call to ask if they saw that there were holes in the stainless door. They said it all looked like surface rust and could be cleaned off. But they were willing to give me 25% off if I want to replace the door. I spent about 10 minutes talking before asking for a supervisor. Talking with the supervisor I was able to get them to send a technician to diagnose if there are actually holes. May 17th: technician confirms that there is uncleanable pitting in the stainless steel door.Today: May 31st (2weeks since diagnosis) I get a call that they will pay for the parts of the door as a goodwill gesture but not for the labor of the replacement. So they admit that their product is bad but wont actually pay to replace it, instead trying to frame it as they are doing me a favor. Absolutely horrendous service, to admit that the door is flawed and provide a new door but make me pay for the labor to replace it (~200$). This has officially been the worst customer service experience I have ever experienced. The representatives were defensive and unwilling to take responsibility for their faulty product. I will never again buy a Bosch appliance and Ill also be sure that no one else does if I can help it.

BOSCH SLIDE IN ELECTRIC RANGE. First off the Bosch range is beautiful. It can be described as understated elegance. The range is designed to seamlessly fit into the kitchen range opening without side gaps. No more dripping down the oven sides! The front detail which slightly covers the countertop edge makes it appear custom to our kitchen. But, the best part is how it cooks! Other reviewers complain about the “loud” convection oven fan. Well, if that fan is “loud” my hearing must be shot. The Whirlpool convection microwave which sits above my Bosch Range, is 3 times louder. The Bosch convection oven is very quiet in comparison.Since receiving my Bosch range I have used several cooking modes with great success: bake, multi bake, convection roast and convection bake. The oven is so well designed and insulated that all my dishes on the different modes were evenly cooked and delicious. The cooktop also performed. I have tried all the burners and even the warm feature. Alas, I have yet to use the warming drawer. However, based on everything else I tried, I am confident that the warming drawer will be fantastic.I recommend you read the oven instructions to get the most out of this beautiful range. When using the cooktop be careful not to slide pots and pans over the burners. Make sure the outside of all pots and pans are clean, dry, and flat. This will save the glass cooktop from scratches. And note, all glass cooktops are susceptible to scratches. The Bosch Instruction Manual also gives cookware tips which are worth trying. I bought flat cookie sheets (no sides) as suggested by Bosch. My cookies came out of the oven perfect and delicious. When shopping for a new range don’t overlook this Bosch appliance. However, be aware you must carefully measure your oven opening to get a great, custom fit. If you are building a new kitchen, request your contractor build the space to perfectly accommodate your new range. You will love the look and love your new Bosch Range! Oh and did I mention the stainless steel resists fingerprints? Just one more reason why I love my new range!

After roughly 4 years my Bosch dishwasher SHE4AM16UC/03 stopped working. First, the detergent dispenser door stopped opening, then wash cycle would short into a few minutes of activity, no real washing, and going straight to the Clean light. Bosch advertises its warranty for parts as 5 years, which in all practicality is not usable, because to get a faulty part for free you have to have a technician over to diagnose the problem and make repairs. The price is $99 for a visit fee and $120/hour labor afterwards. In my opinion, Bosch does not provide efficient warranty support for its appliances. It should be clearly stated as 1 year, not 5 years for the above reason. The dishwasher is poorly made and is a disappointment. I had units that never required any services or repair in 30 years from different manufacturers. I will not buy another Bosch appliance and hope that my experience with this dishwasher and the company will help other buyers make informed decisions.

I purchased a Bosch dishwasher model SHE45M05UC that was delivered in August 2009 from Freidmans Appliance in Pleasant Hill, CA. I had my last dishwasher, a Whirlpool for over 20 years without a single problem. Freidmans told me they were out of stock of the model that I originally ordered and substituted in the SHE45M05UC. I ordered the model just below this one. I noticed after I began using it that the rack continually got stuck even when I pushed it in very carefully. This caused many of my dishes to break when they clashed against each other as the rack jammed. I have a stack of cracked and chipped dishes, and have suffered a lot of damages. Freidmans did nothing to help me when I reported it to them. I didnt live in my house or use the dishwasher in 2010, I am the only one who uses it and I only run it about once a week or so. I also reported the problem to Purcell Murrays showroom in Brisbane and talked directly to one of the owners about it and he failed to replace the dishwasher. About a month ago towards the end of June, all of a sudden a huge amount of suds came poring out of the dishwasher as it was running. When I opened the dishwasher it was full of suds and full of water at the bottom of the dishwasher. I called Freidmans and spoke to Shannon who told me she would call Bosch service center to see what could be done and she would call me the following day. She never called me. I left several messages for her yet she failed to return my calls. I recall back in 2009 when I talked to Steve, the man who sold me the faulty dishwasher - he never would return my calls and he refused to exchange the dishwasher when I reported the fault with the rack that always sticks. I went into Freidmans yesterday to follow up because Shannon had failed to call me as she said she would and had not returned my calls. The salesman Steve had a little smile on his face as I discussed the issue with Shannon. Shannon again said shed call me the next day which was Monday, yet she didnt call the next day. Today I called for Mathew **, the store manager, just as I did back in 2009. Mathew does not ever return calls. I was told by Shannon that Mathew would call me in a few minutes and now one hour later he has not called me. I called a couple of times asking for Mathew and he would not come to the phone. I have used the dishwasher no more than 200 times in the past years and most of the time it is only half full and I run it on light. Now it does not work at all!! You dont want to do business with Freidmans in Pleasant Hill, CA and definitely dont want to purchase Bosch appliances. I know there is a class action lawsuit against Bosch for their washer dryers and I bet there are enough consumers with dishwasher problems to support a suit for the dishwasher defects. Bosch does not support or stand behind their products and Freidmans doesnt either. In fact I have never experienced such inconsideration for customers as I have at Freidmans. They are just about making a fast buck and could care less if their customer is ripped off. What do you say?

We bought this Bosch Dishwasher less than a year ago to replace a previous Bosch Dishwasher which lasted 11 years! Our experience with the last dishwasher was excellent, dishes, cutlery, cleaned impeccably. Not so with the latest one bought from Lowes, a Bosch 300 Series 46-Decibel Built-In Dishwasher (Stainless Steel) (Common: 24-in; Actual: 23.625-in). Cleaning of all dishes and cutlery is inconsistent, with some not properly cleaned, lingering odor at times but livable. Weve had the unit serviced twice, first time the technician replaced the water pump, the second time he basically said there was nothing wrong with the machine. We called Bosch and initially they were empathetic and indicated they would escalate our situation and possibly replace the unit. But after they received the technician service orders, they advised us that Bosch would not replace the unit. So basically we are stuck with a lemon dishwasher that doesnt perform well with no recourse. Needless to say we are very disappointed with this type of service and indifference. We were Bosch Dishwasher fans, not anymore!

Right out of the box, our brand new Bosch tankless water heater (2700 NG model) did not work. Our plumber called their customer service. The person he spoke with, and subsequently my husband spoke to as well, was extremely rude. He told us that we would have to order a new one (it would take four days to deliver) and that we would have to pay the plumber to reinstall the new one as well as pay for shipping on the new unit. Who has that type of customer service? It was brand new and just out of the box and it is defective. The hardware store where we purchased it told us it was an issue that we had to take up with Bosch. Talk about being between a rock and a hard place! After hours on the phone with both Bosch and the hardware store, Bosch agreed to send us a new tankless heater and the hardware store agreed to pick up the overnight shipping cost. We are still out the cost of having the new tank installed. I would never purchase anything that bears the Bosch name on it. And yes, I did my research about tankless water heaters. Since purchasing and installing Bosch freezer and refrigerator columns in December/January 2011, the freezer had ongoing problems; primarily with ice maker and water dispenser, but also with the freezer defrosting periodically. Every 30-60 days I had authorized repair technicians here, sometimes with supervisors, and each time they assure me that they found the root of the problems and fixed it. A month later, either the same thing breaks down or a new problem starts.I was told by a phone service representative that if it couldnt be fixed after three tries, Id get a new unit although its no longer made--no surprise! Nonetheless, on the 4th or 5th call, I was told nothing could be resolved until diagnosis was made. This took place on September 16th when the technician told me that hed have to order all new parts, and rebuild the whole unit, including a back plate that was cracked by the previous repairman, causing water to leak and ice to form all over the freezer. In spite of three calls to the service center and one message left directly for the technician, no one has gotten back to me. I have a $2,000 plus useless appliance, and I had a freezer full of spoiled food more than once. I know Thermador (owned by Bosch or vice-versa) still makes a unit, which looks the same. They have suggested this as a replacement, but Bosch will give me no satisfaction. Not the service and quality I expected from a company of Boschs stature.

We love our Bosch Dishwasher and will buy another one when we move (even though the new house comes with a brand new one). We especially like the 9 minute rinse cycle we can use if the load isnt full. We also like the third rack for spatulas, though that rack doesnt always get cleaned well. Its also extremely quiet. We only wish there was a light to say it was clean vs just rinsed.

I learned Bosch does not stand behind their products. We purchased a house this summer that has a Bosch dishwasher less than one year old. When the appliance failed, Bosch customer service (Shawn ** specifically) informed me that Bosch will not honor the manufacturers one year warranty because I was not the original purchaser. I am not talking about an extended warranty that could have been purchased separately, I am talking about the standard one year manufacturers warranty. A car comes with a standard power train warranty that is transferable, for example. I thought Bosch was a premium brand before this experience, but I can assure you they are not at all interested in providing support.

Since day 1, this dishwasher has had the SAME issue, it drains at the beginning on the cycle and then mid cycle ALWAYS gives the same issue “error: cannot drain”. We purchased three Bosch products in December 2013: a dishwasher, and combo oven/microwave. (HBL 5750). Both the microwave and oven have malfunctioned to the point of being unusable. $200 later, we have a quote for almost $1000 to fix them, no warranty extension. Attempting to get Bosch’s attention and address what we consider a premature failure of their very expensive products has been an exercise in futility. Their representative asked for—and I provided—original documentation of purchase of these products and quote for repair. They responded by asking for the original receipt and repair quote on letterhead, despite the fact that I sent them the inside product serial tag for each item. The provenance if these products is NOT an issue, yet they continue to disavow responsibility. Contrast this to Grohe products: I called them about a failed soap dispenser and faucet, sent them the original order and my new faucet/dispenser is on their way!! What a pleasure to deal with them!! Bosch is NOT WORTH the price, they don’t stand by their products, they have terrible customer service and they are obstructive in trying to navigate their process. Don’t bother; you are better off buying domestic products. Contrast this to Grohe products: I called them about a failed soap dispenser and

The worst customer service for a major company I have ever experienced. I have been an advocate for Bosch for over a decade. We purchased our first dishwasher in 2008 and it was awesome. I cant tell you how many people I referred to purchase Bosch products. We recently purchased a new dishwasher in mid 2015 (SHX68T55UC 24 800 series built in) and it is built super flimsy and has given us problems on multiple occasions. I was getting tired of troubleshooting and recently it just stopped working altogether. I contacted Bosch customer service and basically they said sorry not on warranty anymore. It will cost you $125 for a service call + $30 for every 15 minutes of labor + parts. This is just wrong. I could not be more disappointed with the quality and service of Bosch. A $1,000.00 dishwasher should last more than 2 years wouldnt you agree?

Bosch is selling cheap Chinese made appliances that are some of the most overpriced and poorest performing of any. Our dishwasher cost $900 and was rated highly by Consumer Reports, which is why we bought it. It is a terrible dishwasher and now, after 18 months, it wont drain the rinse water. Called Bosch customer service and was told to google YouTube to find a fix. So I did and went through the videos of many, many other Bosch owners but in the end, none of their YouTube video solutions worked for my dishwasher. So, I bit the bullet and called an appliance repairman who came and fixed the problem after tearing apart most of the dishwasher. That cost me almost $200 and the repairman told me Bosch appliances are the worst hes ever seen in almost 30 years experience. He recommended that I buy another dishwasher pretty soon.

The control module failed and the motor burned up on the Axxis Washer. Total repair cost was $700.00. The repair technician was shocked at the amount of soot and black carbon inside the washer body, and he commented, You are lucky you didnt have a fire. Extensive emails with Bosch finally elicited a response: Tough and have a nice day. Bosch appliances are overpriced and do not deliver the quality nor reliability they represent in their brand. I would never buy again nor recommend it to my worst enemy. Simply put, in German, with Bosch: Alles immer schiesse. Buy domestic. Its cheaper to replace a domestic unit than repair a Bosch.

After examining the reviews on this site, coupled with my own experience, I suspect today’s Bosch products are not the quality they once were. We were satisfied with two prior Bosch dishwashers, however, two years ago we purchased an expensive new Bosch dishwasher to replace an aging one. After being gone for several weeks, we returned to find our dishwasher inoperable. Calling customer service was a frustrating experience as they could not send a certified repairman for almost a month...that’s a lot of dirty dishes. They then referred us to a local repairman who could visit a week later...perhaps they have too many repairs to perform? Today I was informed that I face a $400 repair on an expensive two-year-old machine… Inexcusable. I would not recommend a Bosch dishwasher in the future.

My new 500-series dishwasher produces huge clouds of toxic and awful-smelling air--and this from the very first wash. I hired a service person to come in and check the installation. That was perfect. Dishes appear to be steamed rather than washed. Every coffee cup looks dirty when I remove it despite using the 10-minute rinse cycle on days when I do not run the wash. Everything is sopping wet. The smell from the insulation around the unit to keep it quiet, Ive read is so noxious, that it assaults anyone who comes into the kitchen. Even when the washer isnt running, it stinks. Ive tried leaving the door open so that the water can evaporate and things can dry. I have come to avoid the kitchen and find myself eating out and bringing food in rather than generate dishes. Bosch did not respond to my complaint. I regret purchasing a Bosch and Im angry that its off-gasses have pushed everyone out of the kitchen.

Before upgrading my kitchen appliances, did search on BOSCH Kitchen gas cooktops, found one had good reviews, after buying from LOWES, within few months, knobs getting hot, and even hotter once we cook more and more, both right and left hand side were getting extremely hot, even above we used to have microwave, under and handle both were getting so hot, unbelievable... we started getting burned 10 to 15times a year, I called Lowes, told us to contact BOSCH directly, I gave several terrible reviews so new customers stay away from this product, this is the most terrible product of BOSCH made, as last week, my wife got really burned by her finger tops try to turn-off the steel knob, and she got really burned for weeks, couldnt touch or grab anything from that finger. Today I am complaining to company and many others NOT TO BUY THIS PRODUCT. This is Worst product...that you cant imagine!!Thinking to hire lawyer and sue the company so, they will take this matter seriously and for other new customers not to invest in this non-safety, disaster product ever can come into the market to sell. MODEL: NGM8054UC /03. Serial: 931000088. - Wish this can help others to stay away and can save lives (if minor kids/adults/seniors -ALL touching the knobs in the house).

After 2h 45mins on the phone and talking to 10(!) separate people with Wayfair and Bosch trying to get the dishwasher I ordered last Wednesday, that was supposed to arrive on Friday, that I then had to call to find out why it wasnt delivered on Friday, only to be told it was on a truck and could be delivered Sat, but Sat didnt work for us so the next available date was today (Wednesday - 5 days late), only for them to now tell me (after having to call back to find out why I hadnt heard anything about delivery), that there is no dishwasher until at best (!) early November!! I am APPALLED at the customer service from both Wayfair and Bosch in not stepping up to solve THEIR problem. When I called Bosch directly, they told me they couldnt talk to me and that I had to call Wayfair back (yet again). Complete runaround. Ultimately I was told that I should just cancel my order and order something else (like this was my fault!) without any offer to resolve the issue. And finally after 10 people, I still have no real sense if Bosch actually has any dishwashers in stock anywhere. While I wanted a Bosch based on reviews for quality, Im not planning on making ANY future orders. If I could give 0 stars I would. A complete waste of time and effort! STAY AWAY!!

We replaced our 20 yr old Maytag with a Bosch... it arrived the first week of Jan. 2015. I never liked how my dishes fit in it.... glasses tipped over and it was hard to fit in mugs and bowls. I noticed that there was an orange greasy residue near the door hinge after each cycle. I made it a practice to clean that area every time I emptied the machine. We used the Finish Powerballs and rinse agent. Our water heater is new and the water is very hot. Then I noticed a smell when drinking from a glass. This morning there was an odor from the machine when I went to empty it... nothing in the filter... Smelled like a wet dog. Returning machine.

I purchased a Bosch dishwasher in January of 2014. Three months later my stainless steel silverware began to rust and glasses became cloudy. I read the manual and made some adjustment to the Jet Dry dispenser, but it made no difference. Lowes sent out two different repairmen and they could find nothing wrong. I showed them the silverware and glasses and they called Bosch. Bosch made recommendations that did not work.I contacted Bosch and they told me in order to return the dishwasher I needed the original receipt. I couldnt find it and Lowes eventually found it in their records and sent it on to Bosch. It took about 6 months working with Bosch to get to this point. It also involved several store managers. Once all the paperwork had been turned in I heard nothing from Bosch. Several weeks passed and I finally called. They told me the dishwasher would not be replaced. Instead, Lowes replaced the dishwasher. Thank you Lowes!I found the company EXTREMELY difficult to work with. I think they knew from the beginning they were not going to replace the dishwasher, but they had Lowes and me jump all kinds of hoops anyhow. I do not recommend purchasing a Bosch dishwasher. The only thing I could figure out was that something had been left inside the dishwasher causing the problem. Bosch denied this and said it couldnt happen. I replaced the Bosch with a KitchenAid. It works great and is made in America.

My rented townhouse has a Bosch dishwasher and it cleans the poorest of any dishwasher I have ever had. After three months, it simply stopped working. The Bosch washer and dryer are okay--but just okay. The washer is the worst cleaning machine I have had for a front loader and it is also the first washer I have ever had that smells horribly unless one uses a cleaner in it weekly and unless uses almost no laundry detergent and unless one washes with at least warm water usually. Horrible really. The dryer doesnt have enough options and I have to dry delicate things on regular or they dry incredibly slowly, which results in too much wear. In my opinion, Bosch is very overrated.

I owned a Bosch dishwasher which worked well for 15 years before the timer broke. I did not hesitate to purchase a new Bosch based on my prior experience. If you are thinking of buying one (MODEL SHP65TL5UC) and do not want to throw lots of money out the window and be dissatisfied, I would advise you to seek a different brand. First of all, the dishes do not dry thoroughly and come out with a weird slightly damp feeling even when using a Rinse Aid and normal cycle plus sanitize feature. I have tried to use this beefed up normal cycle with the sanitize cycle even with very lightly soiled dishes and even when the dishwasher is half full because the economy cycle gave me very damp dishes and actually wet plastic bowls. Even with the sanitize cycle which provides extra heat, the bottoms of coffee cups or bowls need to be dried with a towel. Why put things in the dishwasher if you are still drying them??Secondly, there is an ugly smell when you open the dishwasher. I took out the filter and there is about a cup of water that I was told stays at the bottom of the dishwasher at all times (just got this information from Bosch Customer Service). I run this dishwasher twice a week so this same water is just sitting there in an enclosed container for days on end so no wonder the water smells rank - and I have beautiful sparkling sweet tasting well water. How can Bosch deliver a product with such inferior design flaws? I can see from the reviews that many people are having these same problems so Customer Service cannot pretend they never heard this complaint. I intend to pursue this Bosch because I have owned this product for only two weeks and refuse to be stuck with such a bad dishwasher but poor performance with ridiculous design flaws. I guess Bosch is resting on former laurels because I would rank this as a big 0 if there was that option here.

The Bosch dishwasher doesnt dry plastic items. So the moisture in the dark dishwasher leads to bacteria growing - especially if you leave food on the dishes (after scraping). It can lead to a wet dog slobber taste on glasses. You need to wear a hazmat suit to clean this dishwasher. The bins for cutlery and the plastic and metal filter are made of a rough texture which collects food particles. It is nutty to have to wash plastic items by hand, clean the rubber around the door, and scrub the interior parts of the machine. I could wash the dishes by hand and do a better job and faster.

Purchase Bosch Refrigerator B22CT80SNS. Did not work out of box. Repairman added coolant and worked for about 10 days. When refrigerator quit cooling repairman determined coolant leak inside of refrigerator and non-repairable and Bosch was to replace. When I called them in a week to see why I had not heard anything they said that they were no longer making that model and had no comparable model to give me so would in 4 to 6 weeks come out and pickup non-working new refrigerator and issue me a refund check. Of course by that time will have been without a working refrigerator for over 2 months. Also, I had a kitchen remodel done based on all new Bosch appliances, two of which had cosmetic damage in addition to non-working refrigerator upon delivery. So now even though Bosch cannot provide me with a refrigerator, I have other Bosch products that they will not take back so after a $50,000 plus kitchen renovation I will have mixed brands of appliances in my Kitchen with un-matching handles/hardware. I asked if Bosch would just take all of their appliance back and provide refund and I could start over with a brand that could provide a working refrigerator of course they refused. I was traveling from MA and was in NYC helping my family member drive to have some tooth surgery done. During my down time went online and as I recently bought the Bosch washer, I wanted to see if there was a dryer out there. Fortunately there was, it was actually an open box at this location, I had a very good experience with the service at this location and also 5* on the product itself too. I went in and was greeting Denise, she was very helpful during the whole process and even allowed my to view the dryer in person in the bay before committing to the purchase. I really liked how quick she got me checked out and was super friendly. I have to give this store 5* for quick and friendly staff. Now back to the dryer. Wow, so nice, best dryer I’ve ever owned in my life. Extremely quite and piggyback ready the washer I just bought too. If you live in a small studio or apt, these are the absolute best washer/dryers you can get for cleaning g and silent operation. One and only drawback, 220v and the hefty type, definitely check your connections first, otherwise! Love it!!!

I Bought my Bosch Refrigerator KGN56LB412/05 just 2.5 months ago in Nov 2019 and guess what the refrigerator has stopped working and the service guys are saying the modular needs to be changed. How can I accept this.. Bosch swear by the technology of its machines. What sort of Machine is this which got faulty just in 2.5 months and you people are not even replacing the machine rather just replacing a part. Never ever buy Bosch product. They are non reliable in India. The installation guy took 2 weeks to install that too post escalations. Now the fridge is faulty and for the replacement part also they dont have parts available and need time. Worst service no body picks call. What sort example Bosch is giving. If your product is faulty and and gets highlighted have the courage to call it back and dont keep playing with customer. Bosh team, have given standard answer that team will contact you but what my Refrigerator is not working from past 4 days. Its a brand new 2.5 months old Refrigerator which has collapsed completely and stopped cooling or functioning. Nobody called me. I had to call up customer care constantly just to reach service Managers who have no courtesy to respond to customers calls when there is some fault in their product. After lots of time spending on their customer care I got a call for 5 mins which was not satisfactory at all. The Manager is talking about company protocol and convincing me for repair with such a Major fault. I feel so #cheated# buying this #Bosch#Refrigerator#. The #Bosh Refrigerator# is around 70k and collapsed just in 2.5 month. The machine has stopped cooling completely and its of no use still your guys are refusing to replace it.It has been a total #nightmare# ever since I purchased this #Bosch Refrigerator#. I purchased this machine from Vijay sales Chandanagar branch and initially they sent unpacked used machine with black Marks all over dirty plug which was used from ages. I complained then they accepted and returned and told Bosch has sent this used piece they are not aware. Again they sent a broken wheel screw Refrigerator which and this was the third piece after lot of struggle we received. I took so much pain just to buy this brand #BOSCH# and to add more to my struggle this Refrigerator has collapsed and stopped cooling in just 2.5 months which was never expected from the brand I used to trust so much. Now #Bosch company# is not even replacing their faulty product and giving so many lame excuses. Trying to push faulty Bosch Refrigerator. Please stop cheating customers Bosch India. How do you expect me to settle on repairing when there is a major Machine problem in bosch Refrigerator. It has stopped cooling in just 2.5 months. Please dont push the faulty machine over to a customer rather replace your faulty Bosch Refrigerator responsibly. I am literally harassed buying Bosch product this time. This is not my first product from bosch. I have convinced my family and revamped their machine to bosch. This is what I get to show brand loyalty towards Bosch. Very, very disappointing. I have a 1.5 yrs old kid and I am without Refrigerator even after buying a premium brand on high price without any fault. It a harassing journey ever since I bought this Refrigerator.
