We have had the refrigerator for less than one year. The ice maker leaks into the refrigerator and the ice becomes one. The ice maker was replaced one time and three times it is either a new gasket or this time they used silicone to seal it. The fourth time was Saturday, April 30, 2016. He used an adhesive to complete the seal. By Sunday, May 1, 2016, it was leaking again. There is a serious flaw in this refrigerator. Please do not purchase this model refrigerator. Do not purchase Frigidaire. The last call to them was I dont open the refrigerator enough to let warm air in. Such an unprofessional company. Move on. There are so many reputable companies. I am trying to get the refrigerator replaced. CONSUMER BEWARE!

Door handle broke on refrigerator. Freezer ok. Company replaced with 2 handles. New handle broke again. I replaced with 2nd new handle and called company as I have extended warranty. Was told warranty does not cover cosmetic damage. Took handle off freezer door and put on fridge door, which also broke. My wife and I are in our 70s & we couldnt abuse our appliances if we tried. Im sure you have had an epidemic on broken door handles on this model. I might add I was treated rather abruptly and dismissively when I called. I chose not to renew my extended warranty for obvious reasons as I plan to move off in another direction.

My wife and I purchased new appliances for a kitchen redo. We bought a top-of-the-line stainless Frigidaire dishwasher. 18 months after installation, a control board burned out, a $280 repair charge. I contacted Frigidaire Customer Service and received what looked like a form letter telling me Frigidaire offers very comprehensive warranties with each product to guard against parts that may be defective at the time of manufacture. Needless to say, since it was older than 12 months, there was nothing they were willing to do for me. I understand that things sometimes happen, but what matters to me is what customer service is willing to do to make a situation like this right. My advice to potential buyers would be to stay clear of any Frigidaire products.

I bought a Frigidaire front load washer, and have had problems right from the start, so we had gotten a extended warranty through Frigidaire, and have had problem after problem (serviced at least 7 times in 3 1/2 years), and told from a Manager at customer service Jennifer that not only will they not replace this lemon of a washer, but are not responsible for the horrible service men they send out to my home, the first one General key Stone tried to lie and say it was something I put in my washer causing the problem to the company, but told me different, and found out from another service man that he just lied cause it was a hard to get to piece he had to replace, and then that service man who came back several times hit a valve and caused my basement to somewhat flood with this rusted water from a old pipe that was not being used, and brand new towels were ruined, along with a throw rug. You also have to wait for the servicemen to come, (and take off from work these days, and pay for wash to be cleaned while waiting), and then wait at least a week or 2 or 3 for the parts, and then another week for the repair Apt. This company is of no help. Do not buy anything from Frigidaire including any service contract. Youre better off just buying a new machine from a good company like Whirlpool. Will never purchase anything from Frigidaire again.

I bought Frigidaire oven in January 22, 2018 and exactly in January 22, 2019 it was stopped working and called customer service. They were very rude and waited very very long time and they told me it’s not under warranty anymore. Then I called service and it needs now about $400 to change the board. Please do not buy their product. They are very bad.

In May 2013 I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery side by side refrigerator, model FGHC2331PF7. I recently noticed rust on the back of the unit by the ice maker. When I researched this problem I found out Frigidaire has been aware of this problem as the unit does not have sufficient insulation. I contacted customer service. After a week of emails and providing all information requested the rep led me to believe Frigidaire would be taking care of this problem and I needed to provide my available dates so a tech could diagnose and repair the appliance. Now I am being told they will not be taking care of this problem and I am on my own. BEWARE and research any Frigidaire product you purchase because even when they are aware of a problem they will not take care of it.

So, when my old fridge died, I went to Lowes and found my Frigidaire side by side. I love it! The adjustable shelves in the freezer really help with odd sized objects. The basket in the freezer is great for all my frozen veggies too! And did you know that two of the shelves in the fridge side pull out so you can reach the items in the back more easily. The glass shelves always look so nice and clean and the inset shelves in both doors can be moved too! The built in water and ice maker is a lifesaver when you need a drink! Crushed ice from the dispenser makes a soda the perfect temperature. The Frigidaire Gallery is a really great bargain at only $1100. This should be your next Fridge!

We bought all new Frigidaire appliances when moving into our new home 7 years ago. The first to go was the Dishwasher about 2 years ago due to leaking. We just discovered ice forming on the back of our Refrigerator then suddenly the ice maker stopped working. We can access water from the door still but the whole back of the Refrigerator is rusting out due to the ice formation and we have to buy new Refrigerator now. They offered us $500 toward a new one but will never buy from Frigidaire again. The Gas Stove is not holding up well either as the coating is peeling away from the control panel looks terrible. I am writing this now because I just discovered our Electrolux Dryer (made by Frigidaire) is also broken - on Normal setting it is stuck on Air Dry. I have seen 30 year old appliances that look better and still work. WARNING. DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE.

This morning I tried to preheat my Frigidaire glass cooktop-oven and it caught on fire. There was a flame that I could see down through the glass cooktop and smoke pouring out of the back. I turned it off and my son reached back, unplugged it, then my husband and son picked it up and carried it outside. They unscrewed the back panel. The stove is definitely ruined! Purchased a home in 2011. New appliances were in the home with the packaging still on - so they were never used. Turned on the oven on Monday to preheat. Came back to check on it. Fire started in oven due to broken heating coil. Have contacted Customer Service and have been informed that there is nothing that they can do for me since I do not have the receipts. It is not like they were left for me. Would think that they would be helpful since this could have burned down my home. Have been asking to speak to a Manager in charge but keep getting the run around. Will be emailing and calling every day until this is cleared up on their expense or I am going to the media and the Better Business Bureau. It is bad to see that there are others that have experienced issues that they do not stand behind their product or take any blame.

In 2012, I purchased all Frigidaire appliances (Refrigerator, Oven, Dishwasher and Microwave). I also purchased the Extended Service Agreement and renewed with an expiration date of 3/27/2020 on all the appliances. In November 2017 I noticed a crack on the door of the microwave located at the bottom of the handle. This is probably due to the design of opening and closing. The microwave is Model #FFMV162LW Serial Number KH12401883. Purchase date 9/5/2012 ($199.00). The extended service contract #[protected] (spent $163.93 on this service). When I contacted the 800# to report this, I was told it is not covered, because it is not part of functionality. I have read over the contract. Nowhere does it mention the door not being a significant part of the functionality; it does need to be closed to function. The contract does not mention at all that the door is not part of the extended service.I then went on the Chat Line to further submit my frustration of all the expense I put in to all these extended services I purchased on all the appliances, not to have Frigidaire back up their products and services. These will be the last Frigidaire items I will purchase when I am in need of future products. **Answer received: I appreciated reading you complaint. Im quite heavily involved with the industry and think I might be able to shed some light on the subject. The issue youre referencing is a problem of physical damage versus that of electronic/mechanical problems. Physical damage is something most extended service guarantees do not cover; for example, closing the door too hard and cracking the door. This makes sense whereas theres no way to determine how the crack really occurred. For what its worth, I own several Frigidaire appliances and dont hesitate to recommend them. Admittedly I prefer the Gallery and Professional lines as compared to that of the basic Frigidaire series, but if one knows the line fairly well, they can become a great value. Hopefully this helps clarify the issue.**I replied with: Sorry Shaun, but this seems to be a standard reply you are giving many of the complaints posted here. I still stand by my statement that I will not purchase any more Frigidaire items. After the several conversations with Frigidaire, there has not been one single reply. I asked if all my methods of contact (phone and live chat) had been recorded, to which I was informed they were as I suggested upper management review. When one receives mailers saying you are best to purchase a service agreement (kind of an extended warranty) that pretty much costs more than the unit itself, you are believing the Company will address the problem. In this case, me, the customer, was not satisfied with three issues; 1) Product flaw 2) Misleading extra coverage 3) Level of caring from Company.

Beware Frigidaire Gallery 22.6 Cu. Ft. French door counter-depth - I purchased this fridge on March 15, 2012. It took delivery a week or two later. It is a beautiful fridge, which does not leave fingerprints on the front except on the handles. The counter depth is nice. However, the fridge stopped cooling properly on September 5th, not quite to the 6 months’ mark. The thermostat and possibly the compressor both failed. Fortunately, still under warranty. Unfortunately, Frigidaire does not contract with the larger, easier to get appointments and faster repair companies. I live in a large metro area and had 4 choices. Two of which are several counties away from me. So now 12 days after the repairman was finally able to come to diagnose, they are waiting on parts and I am now 16 days into no fridge and taking my family out for all meals. First visit, they diagnosed the fan unit and the thermostat. It took 7 days to get parts. When they installed those, they found that the door sensor is faulty. Now waiting on more parts. I also bought the matching dishwasher, hopefully not the same issues. I would recommend you purchase an extended warranty, which I will, but through a third party sufficiently able to provide proper service in your area. Im most annoyed that my Kenmore/Whirlpool fridge that this replaced never once had an issue in the 11 years I used it. It was just no longer a good fit in the remodeled kitchen. My favorite part of this entire thing - On Frigidaires website, they allow you to rate their products and post them. They send you an email asking you to click a link to confirm your review, only the link doesnt work! Funny. I wonder if I rated it 5 stars if the link would magically work.

I would caution anyone any one who is considering purchasing a Frigidaire product. We purchased a complete Frigidaire Gallery stainless steel set of appliances for our kitchen. In 10 months, we have had issues with every single appliance. It first started with our fridge. The compressor was bad right when we received it. Our appliance vendor replaced it. Afterwards, it also started leaking water on our hardwood floors in our newly built custom house and spoiled all of our groceries. We called Frigidaire to file a complaint and also asked for a food credit to replace the $700 Costco trip we had just put in there. The response was basically, We dont really care and we dont do food credits anymore - read line 22 of your warranty.”When our appliance vendor finally replaced the fridge (what a battle this was), they gave us a free upgrade to a Frigidaire Professional series. Days after delivery, the fridge leaked a ton of water on the floors again. The repairman came and discovered a bad water valve and repaired it. A couple of months later, our microwave started arching. Talk about a scary and dangerous situation. We had yet another repairman out and he fixed it. While fixing it, he shared with us the philosophy of many appliance companies. They basically make cheap stuff and it needs to be fixed often. It’s a sad realization after you spend thousands on appliances. Just recently, we have had our gas range have a gas valve go bad and then our dishwasher flooded our kitchen due to a bad gasket. I have had to fight with the appliance vendor to get them to take our appliances back and allow us to get another line of them. It has been extremely frustrating. I dont even want to see the Frigidaire logo at this point and will never buy anything from them again. I would caution anyone who is considering Frigidaire. I wouldnt take something of theirs even if it was free.

I moved into my home in April of 2014. It was supplied with all new Frigidaire appliances (oven, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator). After 6 months the front of the drawer of the oven began to pull away from the drawer. I called in November for a repair person to replace the front of the drawer. Let me say here that I did not speak to someone at Frigidaire. They get your zip code and then supply telephone numbers of people who do repairs for them. I waited from November 11th until December 31st for the part to arrive. It took the repair person less than 15 minutes to take the front off the draw and replace it with a new one. They did not replace the handle. A couple weeks later I receive a bill for the repair and I explain that the oven is less than a year old and this is covered by warranty. I then call Frigidaire and Im told that they would not cover the repair because it was cosmetic. I tried to explain that it was a manufacturing defect because I surely did not do anything that should make the front of the drawer to come off. They were rude and I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was placed on hold for nearly 30 minutes and was told she could not find a supervisor and I should take up the bill with the repair company. I then sent an email to the customer service department and have not heard back.I have tried to get to someone in the company but all their numbers just take you back to a customer service department with no power to resolve issues. I read my warranty and it does not cover knobs and handles but this was not a knob or a handle or misuse of the product in anyway. I wish I could afford to get rid of all of these appliances because I can tell as time goes on they will not stand by their warranties (service agreements) and the products are junk.

I just bought a fridge on Black Friday that was delivered to my house the Friday after. After the installation, I noticed the fridge beeping, but I thought that it was due to the fact that it hasnt reached the ideal temperature. During the weekend the fridge didnt stop beeping, even though it reached the temperature. We tried different things that we found on the internet, but nothing worked. On Monday I decided to contact the customer service, and they told me to turn the breaker off and on again. At the time that they ended my call, the fridge wasnt beeping just yet. As soon as I hang up the beep starts again. I proceed to call the customer service once again and let the representative know all the previous details and she puts me on hold for a brief moment. She then proceeds to give me the number of different companies around me that could service my brand new fridge. When I ask her for the procedure and if it was cover by the manufacturers warranty, she proceeds to tell me that this was not a functioning issue and that the service should be paid by me. I have gone to hundreds of internet pages looking for a solution to my problem, but instead, I found tons of people with my same fridge having the same issue as me. Frigidaire sells faulty products that they dont even back up. Please dont make the same mistake I did. Purchase another brand. This website rates them 4+ stars, but these reviews must have been purchased. Im sending back my fridge and getting another brand. I WILL NEVER EVER AGAIN BUY ANY FRIGIDAIRE BRANDED APPLIANCES.

Purchased a suite of Frigidaire products in May 1014 - fridge, range, microwave and dishwater. From the beginning I had problems with the fridge. The freezer frosted over and was icy. I called a repair company and was told the gasket had to be replaced (on a new fridge???) and had to be ordered. I waited a couple of weeks and after numerous calls was told the part (gasket) was on back order. What does that mean??? I was told to call Frigidaire and did so. What a runaround. They told me I would have to wait for the part which may be in Aug. 4th. Asked to speak to a supervisor who told me they could only give me a ETA on when it would be available and I would have to wait. Wait to fix a broken fridge that I only had a couple of months. I complained. I wanted it replaced and they said they DO NOT REPLACE only repair. They specified they were not refusing to fix, but I would have to wait for the part which would hopefully be in this year (exaggeration). This is deplorable conduct. I have to suffer with a broken freezer until the part becomes available. I never heard of such a ridiculous answer. I contacted my salesman and he is getting in touch with their rep. I have read so many complaints about this company that I think I will have to get rid of this fridge and take the loss. Frigidaire, you are on my you know what list.

I bought a new Frigidaire refrigerator from a company that went out of business a few months later (H.H. Gregg). Within 6 months, we experienced multiple problems (doors would not stay shut, shelves breaking loose from brackets, icemaker malfunctioning). Called Frigidaire just prior to manufacturer warranty expiration; they scheduled a service call from a local repair shop. I stayed home from work to meet them, but they did not show up. It took over 2 weeks for them to find a different local repair shop. Missed work again to meet them; they couldnt fix it without replacement parts. 3rd service call (more missed work), discovered Frigidaire sent defective repair parts! 4th service call (more missed work), they finally gave up and said the appliance was a manufacturer defect and unrepairable. By this time, the manufacturer warranty had expired, so Frigidaire/Electrolux refused to cover the replacement cost! Same problem it took them weeks to conclude was not repairable. Their incompetence led to the delays past the warranty period. Finally offered to give me a replacement unit if I agreed to pay a $325 shipping and handling charge! Even I agreed to that, they would not guarantee that the new unit would be free of defects. Said I would have to rely on their standard limited warranty for repairs to the second unit. I refused and demanded a full refund, but they wouldnt budge. They even refused to pay the bill for the multiple service calls to try and repair the first piece of junk, until I threatened legal action. Their customer service was beyond terrible. They lied repeatedly and could not communicate within their own company. They did not care about me or my concerns. I will NEVER buy another product from that unethical company!

I purchased the warranty and they say it is cosmetic so they will not cover. I have called Frigidaire and they want me to purchase new doors. When I asked to escalate they provided me a P.O Box to write a letter in hopes that I would not bother.I cannot believe that I spent so much money on a horrible product that is cheaply made. We have 4 adults living in our home and expect our fridge to last more than a year. I have a claim currently for my ice maker because it jams, stops working and then drips all along the front side of my fridge. Lets see how that goes. It had an energy saving device which helped reduce my summer electric bills. It was easy to operate. The air conditioner produced cold air efficiently for over 20 years. It was very quiet. There was little vibration. The operation of the unit had energy efficiency. In 20 years I only had two service calls to have it repaired and one was simply a freon leak. It was a room air conditioner that fit into the wall. It fit securely and did not detract from the room decor. It came in decorator colors that were neutral so that it blended well with my living room decor. It was very non intrusive. This air conditioner operated efficiently for over 20 years. After I sold the house the new owners were still using it in the humid New England summers. Two service calls in all that time speaks volumes for its reliability.

I bought a fridge with an ice maker in the fridge. For the first 8 months the ice maker made 120 to 150 small cubes of ice daily and worked to my satisfaction. Then the ice production dropped to about 40 to 50 cubes daily. After almost a dozen service calls the unit was replaced with a new fridge. For about 8 months the second unit worked as described in the manual making 120 to 150 small cubes in a 24 hour period. Again the ice production dropped to 30 to 40 cubes daily. This time after 3 service calls from 2 different companies I was told by Frigidaire that the unit is working properly and the ice maker is only a convenience and they have left me hanging with an ice maker that does not produce ice. The technician that came out said the ice maker temp was 28 degrees and too warm. Should be 9 degrees. Frigidaire tech support said it is working properly so I got hung out with nothing.I wrote the CEO Mr. Shaw and his assistant called me and said nothing they can do and Mr. Shaw does not even know there is an issue because he gets screened from everything. I will never purchase another Frigidaire product. A friend has the same unit with the same issue. There is a design flaw but instead of making good on it Frigidaire changed the specs and now it makes 30 to 40 ice cubes daily.

The repairman stated that 4 parts are needed and it will be roughly $300 to repair - that is roughly half of what we paid for the unit. I called Frigidaire and expressed my frustration - I should expect the appliances to last more than 3 years! I was told without the extended warranty, there is nothing they can do. I told them my previous appliances lasted 20 years without repairs and they should have more pride in what they produce. These are not durable or quality products! And, like many others - the refrigerator freezes some items, the stove is inconsistent, and the dishwasher barely cleans! Just not good products!

I bought 4 Frigidaire appliances 3 years ago and have already had 4 service calls - 2 to fix a recurring problem with the refrigerator. The customer support is unhelpful and unsympathetic to their expensive yet cheaply made appliances. I would recommend that someone thinking about buying Frigidaire appliances reconsider and go with a different brand. I have been extremely disappointed.

We purchased this oven 4 years ago and one day while warming up lunch we heard a big boom, and the glass on the outer door had shattered. Even though this is a manufacturer defect they would take no responsibility, luckily nobody was seriously hurt.

In 2010 I remodeled my kitchen and thought I was purchasing a great product from a company located close to my home. The professional series complete kitchen. Within 4 months the refrigerator quit (under warranty). I called and service tech was sent. The diagnosis code was CY SE or communication error. They replaced the unit after 1 and 1/2 months without a fridge. The new unit lasted just 13 months and same error code (now out of warranty). Repair with new computer and display board, cost $379. Less than 1 year and same issue and repair, cost $405. Now again same issue. Service Tech ordered new boards installed. No power. Ordered next set no display but it had power again. Bad board. Service Tech called Frigidaire service tech and was told 9 out of 10 of the boards we have at distribution points are no good. Now I have been out of a working refrigerator for 1 month. May not be able to get another computer board for at least week since there are none in close supply. If it is able to be repaired it will be another $400. Customer service rep told me today there is nothing she could do since it is out of warranty(Mfg date: 08/10). She also said Dont you realize things break? Cost for 3 years including purchase, install, cost of repairs so far $3308.

Frigidaire refrigerator delivered Feb 2017. Electrolux is parent company. Unit carried 1-year warranty. Nov 2017 I discovered crack in inner lining (I suspect it was delivered with crack) and initiated telephone conversation with Electrolux who stated unit would be replaced under warranty but had to satisfy protocol. SEVERAL techs over several visits came to house. Electrolux found fault with each one --- one took over a month to invoice Electrolux & send report. One told Electrolux they would call me to set appointment & never did --- one neglected to be on phone with Electrolux factory tech at time of visit etc, etc. All techs that came to house confirmed, documented, & reported crack to Electrolux. Each call to Electrolux met with yet another step to accomplish until now unit is beyond warranty and Electrolux now saying I am beyond warranty and will only approve factory-approved repair which is to tape crack not replace unit.23 Feb 18 call to company that delivered refrigerator stated they would have replaced unit with new one if I was within warranty but because unit is now out of warranty there is nothing they can do even though Electrolux freely stating they have documentation that my conversations with them started well before warranty dropped. Customer Support is AWFUL. They lied to me. They dragged their feet so much that my unit is now out of warranty. Any help to have Electrolux replace this unit, as they promised from the beginning, would be appreciated. At this point - my advice: DONT BUY ONE.

We purchased a new dishwasher in late 2009, along with a new kitchen. Within months of our kitchen install, the doors started to peel and crack around the dishwasher. Our first thought was that there was an issue with the finish on the cabinets. Why didn’t we think that the dishwasher was to blame but the cabinet company that replaced the cabinets? Now in our new kitchen the same problem has been happening. This apparently is a well known design flaw. I contacted customer service and they would not even let me speak to a supervisor. Apparently, they do not care about satisfaction in the least. We’re just out $600 for a poorly designed dishwasher that has ruined 2 new kitchens.

I redid my kitchen and bought the Frigidaire professional series range, fridge and dishwasher. The 1st stove had to be replaced within a month for electrical problems, 2nd stove the wire was shorted out and the burner did not work. The fridge drawers were put together with tape from the factory and were broken. Sent me new ones, wrong ones. I have owned Frigidaire for over 30 years. They have gone downhill and I would never buy their appliances again. Also, dealing with customer service - you are on hold for 20 minutes. Some people are rude. Some are nice. I was swayed away from Samsung and LG because all the dealers told me you cannot get repair people to fix them. I dont know what I would next time. I was also suppose to get an extended warranty for 1 year parts and labor on the range. Havent seen it come through the mail yet.

2 years ago I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator and paid 850.00. I understood it was inexpensive but it was a small apartment sized refrigerator and had no bells, no whistles and so one would assume that the price was right for what you were getting, WRONG. This fridge may as well be a polished **. Just 1 month out of warranty the control board failed, so the freezer and the fridge compartments were warm and the control board just flashed. I paid to replace the control board with a new OEM from the manufacturer board, and this part cost me 200.00 But now just yesterday 7 months later the control board stopped working again and did exactly what the original one did. We are 5 days to Christmas and me without and once again without our Frigidaire fridge. 1,050.00 invested now in a small fridge and its just a stainless steel polish on a **.

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator in Oct 14 for my man cave. The reason was for the ice. The ice maker has frozen up on me 3 times, April 15 (under warranty), April 16 and the last time December 16. I paid to have it repaired in April 16. So after the third time I thought I would try the factory again, yea right. Was just told that it is not unusual for this to happen and as far as they were concerned, the product is out of warranty. We have a GE Profile at the house that is approximately 9 years old and have never had a problem. I need the ice so I think I will go get another GE refrigerator and set this one on the curb with a FREE sign on it. I will also start telling everyone I know or dont know, as I walk down the aisle at Lowes, that you really dont want to be purchasing this product because if you read the other reviews, Frigidaire should be recalling this model of refrigerator.

Six months ago, I purchased a complete Frigidaire kitchen from Comeaux Furniture in New Orleans. Early last week, the freezer went out and the temperature rose to 77 degrees before the authorized service repairman arrived. Four days later, the refrigerator side went out also and the temperature rose to 70 degrees. The authorized service repairman said the mother board went out, and it would take a week for the new part to arrive. Its now been two weeks without a working refrigerator or freezer in my house with four kids. And the only thing Frigidaire is willing to offer me is $50 for food, and an additional six months of warranty. I lost about $500 in food and have to eat out every night because of their defective product. I believe that the proper thing to do would be to allow the dealer to pick up this defective unit and replace it with another one. This could have been done in one day instead of two plus weeks. Frigidaire or Comeaux Furniture will not stand behind their products. I would never recommend either one of them.

I have a warranty on my washer and dryer (purchased new 3 years ago). The washing machine recently stopped working so I called Frigidaire to utilize my warranty coverage. They dispensed a company called ABCO to my home on 7-9-16. The technician was nice and advised he would be getting the part within 3 days (M-W). I never heard back from them. I left a total of 4 messages with the last one last night (7-19-16). The receptionist or maybe temporary worker was extremely rude, very unprofessional, and had the vocabulary of an uneducated child. She argued she did not receive any messages. Perhaps she did not hit play on the answering machine (yes, answering machine). After arguing, I called Frigidaire to advise their sub was useless and I wanted them nowhere near my home. I now have a new company coming 7-25 and I hope they can do what ABCO could not.

Completely stopped making ice - technician has been out twice - extended delay time in getting parts. Noisiest Refrigerator we have ever had. We purchased our convection oven, quite expensive, a year ago. Have loved it until the last cleaning. I had a pie run over and I did follow directions of scrapping what I could get off of it. I then ran the self cleaning cycle and when I looked, it was burnt in that area and a dent showed up. I had contacted them before about sending me information on extending the warranty which never showed up in my mailbox. When I called to get a repair service recommendation to come out, as it was still under a year, there were none in my area. So what good is a warranty if no one is in area to fix or look at it? The floor of the oven had to be defective or this wouldnt have happened. I owned a GE before for 3 years and when we sold the house it looked as new as the day we moved in. I followed the directions and this is what happened. I will not recommend Frigidaire to any of our friends.

I recently ordered two replacement drawers for my refrigerator directly from Frigidaire. The junky plastic ones they came with broke. At $43 a piece and $11 shipping, I had a hard time buying replacements but I decided to splurge. When the parts came, they were the wrong parts. I looked at the packing slip which said, very clearly, to repackage the items and use the included shipping label to ship them back. If the problem was with the shipper, they would reimburse me for the return shipping. I did exactly as asked and shipped them back. The shipping cost $27.80. After I sent them, I called to let them know and ask how to submit the cost of the shipping for reimbursement. I had paid extra for tracking, as the company had recommended on the shipping form.I waited on hold for almost an hour before I spoke to someone who said that they would not be able to reimburse me for shipping because I needed to call them FIRST. Model # - FRsss2323AS0 or O Serial # -4A14107574. Order number for missing parts: ** waiting on shipment since Feb 25, 2022. Where is the tracking number. My mother has been waiting on missing parts for her new fridge since January 2022. I have called a few times just to simply get the tracking number for the order shipped out I was told on February 25, 2022. They have all the details on file from the specs as to which parts are missing (deli tray 3,4,5 which is specs 48,49) and (Crisper tray 49) as well as a fridge logo. This was covered by Mykia, she told me that the order was held but never go back to me as to why it was held. I spoke with Ann who told in early Feb. She told me by Feb 25 2022 the missing parts will be shipped. I spoke to Sirena told March 14 she hung up on me and but told me she would place me on hold to go retrieve the tracking number, enter hang up a dial tone. Someone either did not do the reorder for the missing parts or the shipped is still not out yet. Either way when a customer calls if the CS rep does not know the answer as to why the order hasnt been shipped or cant even provide the tracker number for the missing parts, this only means people are slipping on the cs service skills. From January until March 14 2022 my mother is still waiting on missing parts. WHY? Can I get a order tracking number without cs reps hanging up or just the honesty of what is really going on here. Tomorrow I will call back and just request to speak with a supervisor or manager because these are simple questions that only require simple answers. WHERE IS THE TRACKING NUMBER FOR THE MISSING PARTS???

We bought several Frigidaire appliances, including a stove and refrigerator. We purchased the extended warranty on all of the appliances. We have had nothing but trouble with the stove and refrigerator. Both these appliances have been serviced at least 3 times and yet the problems persist. Because the warranty has expired, they will not service them any more, yet the same issues remain. The oven takes forever to heat up, even on quick preheat, and signals that it has reached the pre-set heat level, 200 degrees before reaching it. The fridge leaks water from the ice maker which then freezes on the shelf just above the freezer compartment. We are extremely frustrated and feel the appliances should have been repaired properly in the first place and should be repaired even though the warranty has expired. There is obviously a factory defect in both the stove and fridge. These problems existed from day one. If we could give less than one star, we would, and I would certainly not recommend Frigidaire appliances to any of my friends or relatives.

Today I called Frigidaire (03/16/2021) and spoke to agent Ethan 3:40 PM ET who told me there was nothing that could be done by Frigidaire, that Id have to call my own repairman at my expense. This appliance is clearly a lemon. In fact, when the Frigidaire service repairman came to fix the motherboard and pump when it was under warranty, he said hed never buy one! My advice: DONT EVER BUY A FRIGIDAIRE APPLIANCE!!!

We bought a dishwasher and refrigerator 6 months ago at Lowes. Neither has worked well since we bought them. The dishwasher is on its second repair and I have waited for 2 weeks to get it repaired AGAIN. The refrigerator freezes the food and even when we turn it down it still did it. The ice maker sucks! The ice gets stuck and then we have to clean it out and ice goes everywhere. This happens every couple days. So frustrating!! Neither Lowes or Frigidaire will take them back. DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE!!! Very cheaply built and now Im stuck with these appliances that I dont want. I should have gone with Costco from the very beginning. Their customer service is always excellent. Its unfortunate that we did not read reviews before buying.

I will say this. Dont buy. We remodel last year and looked at reviews for the gallery appliance. All three had good review and the only appliance that has not been repaired is the stove. The French door with bottom freezer refrigerator has been repaired twice and now is broken again. Bottom door does not close right after it has been fixed before. Now the water dispenser does not work. Both ice makers had to be fixed. Now on to the dishwasher. It is the $600 piece of crap that has been sitting in my kitchen that does not work. You turn it on and it floods the floor. How many times has it been fixed in one year do you ask? 4 times. Is it fixed? NO. You call Frigidaire to fix. They call a crappy repair company which there is only one in my area and 3 weeks later he calls to set up an appointment. The last scheduled repair was in December 2014 and it is now May 2015 - still not fixed, still calling and nothing. But Frigidaire keeps calling and emailing me to buy extended warranty on freaking broken appliances they never got fixed. Buy another product from someone else because this company does not care.

I hardly ever write reviews, particularly if I am dissatisfied with a product or service. Ive always figured a mental note to steer clear of further patronizing a particular establishment or buying a product were enough for my personal satisfaction. However, my experience with purchasing a Frigidaire stove from Colders (333 S 108th St, Milwaukee, WI 53214) warrants a stern warning to other consumers TO BEWARE... I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE ANY CONSUMER anticipating doing business with COLDERS or purchasing a FRIGIDAIRE appliance.First off, I bought a Frigidaire stove and refrigerator from Colders in October 2016. Now, for the second time since October, the stove is malfunctioning, for the exact same reason as the first time... Which happened just a few weeks after the stove was purchased. As if the malfunctioning stove isnt enough of an inconvenience, we were informed by the 3rd party repair technicians contracted by Colders/Frigidaire to service their appliances, that the earliest someone could come out to repair the stove was Friday. The stove went out on Sunday. Because the hours of operation for the repair tech also sucks, the earliest we could report the malfunction was Monday. As of today (Wednesday), the repair date has since been pushed back to next Monday because the techs dont have the repair part in inventory. My mother is a senior citizen, and for the second time since October, is without a stove for in excess of a week. The first time the stove went out (did I mention for the same reason), my mother was without a stove FOR TWO WEEKS!!! On both occasions, my mother and I contacted Colders, who referred us to the repair techs. As aforementioned, the response time absolutely sucked! The initial appointment IS ONLY TO CONFIRM THE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEM. The repair tech pre-orders the replacement part (without seeing the appliance), based on the error code and hopes that the part is what is needed to rectify the problem. In our case, it was not! So, for the initial malfunction, the tech had to schedule a second appointment to complete the repair. I am anticipating this repair will work in much the same way. I am thoroughly disappointed in both the product and service at this point. We have requested that the stove be replaced, however we were informed that Frigidaire has to approve the replacement once the 3rd-party repair tech is on site. I am not optimistic.

I purchased the Gallery Series of appliances. To date, the range, dishwasher and refrigerator have all needed repairs (the dishwasher and refrigerator needed repairs within 1 year of purchase). The latest is the stove... about 1 month ago the smooth top range began to smoke from the back of the unit near the control knobs and about a week later the stove began to beep and would not stop beeping. Now the stove will only heat to 200 degrees while beeping continuously and the oven will shut off, the continuous beeping continues.I contacted Frigidaire and was told the stove was no longer in warranty... that I could purchase the expensive Extended warranty for this product. I purchased the warranty offered and was told the warranty was sold in error and that they would not honor the warranty because this is now considered a pre-existing condition. The real question is Why does a basically new appliance not hold up to less than normal use and is broken down, considered USELESS after two years. This is a fire hazard and this company has no real interest in the customer after they sell the appliance to you. They do have a high interest in PUSHING their expensive extended warranties off on you as though they already know the appliances will break down within one to two years of purchase.

I was told to try all kinds of tests like unplugging the unit, wait 5 minutes, plug it in and turn the thermostat all the way up, then down, then up again, then down..... all to no avail... I have a Frigidaire affinity front loading dryer. I bought the Frigidaire dryer that has a lint catcher in the front. The screen frame has large plastic taps at each side to prevent the screen from sliding to far in the slot. I cannot count how many times I have had clothes ripped, straps torn off and ruined by getting caught on the lint screen tabs. I have had a professional look at it. I have called on this issue and I am told there is nothing basically that can be done except I can purchase dryer bags used for pantyhose to place my clothes in to protect them. And the dryer screen is lose and allows lint to pass through the slot meant to catch the lint. This has resulted now in the dryer over heating and the element burning out in the dryer. Again, why did I purchase this dryer?

Bought a new French door Refrigerator and have had constant problems with the ice maker. The refrigerator was replaced by Frigidaire and now to find out the replacement was 2 years old and has the same ice maker problem. They call out repair companies that have extremely rude employees and problem cannot get resolved. Never can get the same customer service representative on the phone so have to repeat the same issue over and over.I am considering putting the refrigerator on the front lawn with a big sign on it. This will be the best advertisement. Frigidaire tells me they have a bulletin on the ice maker being bad but can never seem to find a way to correct it. All I want is my ice maker repaired so I do not have to keep buying ice and explaining why to guests. I do not feel with a refrigerator only 3 years old I should be having to write this complaint. If Frigidaire knows they have a problem with these ice makers they should just step up to the plate and make it good.

Bought over $6000 of appliances while renovating my kitchen (less than three years ago). First issue arose when cast iron grates on dual fuel range had peeling paint off grates. Called when the stove was about 8 months old. Told there was no warranty and if I wanted something better looking, I needed to buy new grates. I did, supposedly got a 50% discount but grates were still nearly $100. Just had my 5th service call for icemaker repair... each time after paying $130 service call always requiring parts to fix... spent around $800 in repairs so far. Tried to speak to customer service about my frustration and high cost of obviously defective product. No offer of compensation other than 50% off parts ordered from them, big deal. I even tried to speak to a supervisor and got no other offers of help or even trying to remedy my situation. Not to mention a cracked piece of plastic on the top of my freezer door damaged by the repairman that cannot be replaced... Frigidaire does not sell this part and I need a whole new door... absolutely ridiculous and poor service after spending my hard earned money on several appliances... I would never purchase again. I have a 14 year old whirlpool fridge that is an extra-- still in use in my garage. I have done nothing other than replace the water filter. Never one ounce of trouble. Next time I will buy whirlpool.

Something in the back of the freezer has started making a horrible sound until it is unplugged. My mother had Frigidaire years ago and swore by the company. There are two adults in our household. I have had my range nearly a year. FFEF3051TBC model number and serial number VF73535062. I have had this range for almost a year and the door falls off constantly until it stripes out. 2 small bolts holds the whole door together. I put it back on the first 7 times until it stripped and had to be replaced and took a month and a half to get parts and them to fix it. Worked for almost a month and same things now happened. I put it on 6 times until it stripped out again now and had to order parts again. Was 5 to 6 weeks again before it was fixed. Work for almost 5 weeks. Now it is broke again about 4 weeks before Thanksgiving and now it’s Tues. And Thanksgiving is Thursday, family coming in and I can’t cook dinner. I have called corporate office many many times they say they have to fix it and only replace if the heat measured isn’t good. Well I have been without the range for 3 months and growing and while it is torn up I am sure it’s not heating right. The bottom is burned and top of food not done. I would never recommend this product to anyone. They try to put it off and off until warranty runs out. I have a new house with a new stove I can hardly use grrr. SO UPSET. My husband and I purchased all new Frigidaire Gallery Appliances on 3-22-2014. On August 5, 2018 the compressor went out on the refrigerator with no warning at all. It had not been running warm, it was not making any noises, the freezer just shot up to 34 degrees and the next morning the refrigerator was at 59 degrees. This is at minimum an $800.00 repair. We did not purchase the extended warranty, it would have been past the time of use anyway. In speaking to customer service at Frigidaire their only response was they will make note of my dissatisfaction with the product she also commented had I purchased the warranty this would have been covered since you have up to 13 years after you buy a product from Frigidaire to get one. Clearly, this company does not care about customer service or making a top notch appliance. The dishwasher died after months requiring a $275.00 repair. In November 2009, I purchased Frigidaire Professional Series All-Refrigerator (17 cu. ft.) $975 and Frigidaire Professional Series All-Freezer (17 cu. ft.) $1,005. These are units that are designed and capable of being built in. The units were not delivered until January 2010 (as requested). They were manufactured in December 2009. In August 2012, less than three years after manufacture, the freezer failed and could not be repaired. A freezer full of food was lost. Frigidaire no longer made the 17 cu. ft. units. Although the warranty had expired, Frigidaire gave me a $1,045 toward the purchase of the only viable alternatives, that is 19 cu. ft. units that could fit into my pre-existing cabinet hole. The two replacement units cost me $3,128.89. I paid $500 for the units to be installed as the cabinets needed to be refit. In May 2013, ten months after the replacement purchase, the refrigerator failed. A refrigerator full of food was lost. After lengthy communications, including writing a letter to Jack Truong, the CEO, and working with Kimberly**@electrolux.com (706-651-7904) a third-level customer service representative after 5-6 days after three service repair visits, Frigidaire agreed to replace the unit at no cost. I was also contacted by Rita**@electrolux.com (706-651-7011) as a result of my letter. Frigidaire will provide me with up to $150 for installation of the new refrigerator. To date, I have paid: 975 Original Refrigerator 17. cu. Ft., 1,005 Original Freezer 17 cu. ft., 3,128.99 Replacement Refrigerator and Freezer 19 cu. ft., 500 Refitting Cabinet Costs and 1,045 Frigidaire credit toward replacement purchase. Therefore, after less than four years, for two Frigidaire Professional Series appliances, which I purchased with the reasonable expectation that they would last at least ten years actually more like 15-20 years, I have paid out (after deducting the Frigidaire credit) $4.563.99 plus lost all the food in two appliances. The original units cost $1,980, so I have paid more than twice the cost to date.Frigidaire is very comfortable with this situation and believes it has been overly generous. All the exchanges were polite. I certainly would not buy another Frigidaire product. I did try to get Frigidaire to take back both units at the price I paid ten months ago so that I could purchase appliances from another company. It refused. In my view, Frigidaire should stand by its products. No one purchases such units expecting them to fail within such a short time frame, regardless of the warranty. Thats the story.

We live in California and purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator to put in our newly built vacation home in Arizona. I only wished I would have looked at ALL of the reviews prior to choosing this brand. Our new home was ready 2 mos earlier than expected. We called Home Depot, where we purchased it from, to get a earlier delivery date. No problem... we scheduled it and traveled the 6 hours to spend the weekend and accept delivery of our refrigerator. The refrigerator arrived, installed and THOUGHT it was good to go. The next morning we realized the refrigerator was not cooling. We could hear it running but not cold at all. Long story (which it is) short.... we finally got someone from frigidaire to listen and they said they could not replace the broken refrigerator, they had to send someone out to try and fix it. WHAT???? we do not live in AZ it is our vacation home and we are already back in CA. The rudeness and lack of compassion was unacceptable, but nothing I could do. They scheduled a service tech to come out (yes, I had to find someone in the new neighborhood that I didnt really know to give my key to so they could let them in). The service tech said it was not repairable ... DUH. I gave them the date we were returning and they said no problem.... they will deliver then. NOPE. I received the automated call saying they would be there. Waited home all day. They did not come. I finally got hold of the delivery Manager and he said they didnt even have the refrigerator in their warehouse yet. They finally, after 6 more frantic calls from me, delivered a day later at 8:30pm!!!! The NEW refrigerator makes noise and you cant see the digital display that says water, cube, crushed ice) it does not light up. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM ELECTROLUX/FRIGIDAIRE!!!! NO customer service.... and when you finally get someone, they are rude, or at least Sharon at Frigidaire Extension ** was. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

I WANT A NEW ONE! I didnt pay almost 700 dollars to have a brand new refrigerator already need several repairs. Then later when it has more problems Ill have to pay for it. Quite frankly Id love my money back & Id buy a totally different brand. My last refrigerator lasted me around 30 years with NO problems during this time. SO far I am not happy with the place that I purchased the refrigerator from as I believe they could offer to replace it immediately. I am not happy with Frigidaire so far. I purchased a Frigidaire stove oven combo from Lowe’s. Within 3 weeks, we realized with the oven set at only $350, it made the top front of the unit so hot it would burn. Upon calling Lowe’s, they suggested we call the service number for the manufacturer. I was on hold for so long. When I finally got help, they told me it was normal that the oven vented there. The other vent is back by the left burner. However, that area never got hot. So she said the warmer top front was within the manufacturing guidelines. I asked if they would just send out a repair man to verify nothing was wrong. She refused and said I would have to pay for any call myself. If I had little children, having this unit in their home would have been considered abuse. Here I am only two years later and last night when setting the oven at 425 it began burning and smoked out the entire kitchen. Never buy Electrolux products either as they own Frigidaire. Bought all new Frigidaire appliances for new house in Coeur dAlene, Idaho. Right away the refrigerator broke, making the freezer side super cold and the refrigerator side hot. Model number is FGHC2345LF. Freds Appliance (supplier we bought from) fixed it. This is a vacation home, so we are not there very much. Next time we came out, the same problem. Freds fixed it again (allegedly). This happened 3 more times, for a total of 5 repairs for the same thing, under warranty. They claim they replaced mechanical parts, electrical wiring, circuit boards, etc.Of course, as soon as the warranty expired, the same problem reoccurred and both Frigidaire and Freds Appliance told us to start paying if we wanted it fixed. Paid $583 to repair it. A year later, its broken again. Now they are saying its my fault because we dont use it enough! Seriously! They say it has electrolysis because Im not there with it. We leave the house at 55 degrees in the winter when were not there, and never over 80 in the summer. These are not extreme operating temperatures. Why doesnt the state attorney generals step in? Its like I took $300 (not sure of exact price) and just threw out the window... I know life isnt fair but this is just wrong.

We renovated a 1971 kitchen only 2 years ago and purchased the Frigidaire professional series: oven, fridge and dishwasher for a total of $5,000 through Sears. The side by side fridge doors never have closed properly from day one. When you close one side, the other side pops open and remains ajar. For the last year, weve had problems with the panel on the stove. The element buttons work occasionally and weve had to trip the breaker because weve had so much trouble with the cancel button not working. I, too, thought Frigidaire was an established brand name and would have quality products. We live in a remote northern Canadian town where repair services are not available. I would never purchase Frigidaire again and certainly after reading the other posts, I am on my way to check the bulb in my fridge.

Went with Frigidaire gallery kitchen appliances, and everything is sub par. Dishwasher has broke twice, fridge also and now the stove quit working the day before Thanksgiving, 2 years old. Will never buy Frigidaire again.
