I purchased the Frigidaire Gallery oven-range 22yrs ago (Gallery series still sold) & it as well as my same brand/series refrigerator have been reliable with no component failures from the burners to timer to the oven warmer (and ice maker)-the oven-range retains a modern look & fairly easy to clean.

I am waiting on my 2nd service call. The dishwasher is 3 months old. It doesnt get the dishes clean. The 1st tech told me to run the sink faucet until the water was hot and only use a certain detergent. In all of the homes I have rented or owned I have never had to baby a dishwasher. I wish I had read the reviews. We are a family of 2 and almost always grill. This dishwasher cannot handle barely dirty dishes. I made a purchasing error.

On April 4, 2015, I was preheating my Frigidaire wall oven at 400 degrees F. Luckily, I was standing in the kitchen, because the heating element caught on fire for no apparent reason. I turned the oven off and the fire went out. There was no food in the oven or on the heating element. I called their customer service department and talked to a representative, who insinuated that I caused the problem by allowing food to remain on the heating element, which is completely untrue. I am frustrated and will never purchase any appliance or anything from Frigidaire again.

This side-by-side with ice maker is great. I love it and so far, we have not had any problems with it after having it for about 13 years. It was purchased at a good price. The ice maker has cubes and crushed which my family likes a lot.

I have had two major repairs done by the store that sold this poorly designed washer to me in the first year, to no avail. When I contacted Frigidaire before the warranty expired (7 times) they finally told me they would not honor the warranty because I handwrote information of the receipt. They requested I handwrite this information of the receipt before sending it to them! This product is terrible - avoid it and Frigidaire like the Plague.

I bought a stainless steel refrigerator and a stainless steel stove from Frigidaire July of 2016. The fridge wont cool the freezer or fridge section. The stove you have to use a lighter to light the stove. Pilots wont stay lit. Called Frigidaire and all I got was, Oh too bad. Had to go and purchase a new fridge. I wouldnt recommend Frigidaire to anyone.

I sooo wish I could include a photo of the itty bitty piece of nasty cutting gashing scarring metal that is affixed to the lower half of the dryer door on top of my matching front - load washer. It runs across my forearm as it automatically comes at me incessantly. I wish I could say, Whaa, it scratches me and I hate it... Rather, it cuts me, gashes me and has thus far left three quite distinct marks that come and go with the sunny days...Oh, except for one; its red and is there all the time. I believe its called a SCAR, YOU ** HAVE YOUR NERVE WITH THIS CHEAP ENGINEERING MESSING UP MY ARM... ILL NEVER, NEVER BUY ANYTHING FRIGIDAIRE FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator model #LFHG225ITF3 in May of 2019. In December the ice maker stopped working. I replaced the filter and an external line filter and it still didnt function so I called service. A young man all of 20 years old if that showed up and looked in the freezer. He then proceeded to make a phone call and made the repair by getting instructions by whomever he was speaking to. He said, OK its fixed and left. 24 hours later still no ice. I called the repair line again and demanded a different service company. The next company showed up and again a young man got on the phone with someone. He declared that the ice maker had to be replaced. By a diagnosis over the phone. That was 2 weeks ago. I just called service again and got a complete runaround. She called the company that was supposed to order the part and replace it and got their answering machine. When I told her I could have had the part in my hand in 24 hours if I had ordered it from Amazon she just kept repeating her script over and over. I told her I want a new refrigerator if the people that they have servicing their appliances cant even replace an ice maker. I cant have one, she said, because the unit has not been deemed unrepairable. So if I dont hear back within 24 hours she will send out a third company. To waste a third day of mine waiting for them to show up and potentially not fix the unit. This game, according to the representative, could go on and on until someone can fix it. Bottom line, be very worried about getting a problem solved by Frigidaire. I have never experienced such nonsense. They are subcontracting with the worst of the worst to service your expensive purchase. Buyer beware!

We bought a new home in 09/13, we upgraded our appliance package to the tune of 1800.00 dollars above the amount allotted by the builder. We had nothing but problems with the appliances. Dishwasher, stove, and now the fridge. Yes I understand they are just over 5yrs old. But when we bought the appliances we made sure of the warranties on the units. typical warranty 1yr complete, 5yr compressor. Weve had to have the fridge serviced a couple times over the years, and Frigidaire {Electrolux} has been aware that there was a problem with the compressor. So fast forward a couple months, now the unit is completely off warranty. Low and behold they will not warranty the compressor. Sorry of which they have changed their warranties to now only be 1 yr for the complete fridges, no compressor warranties beyond the year. But they would gladly sell me a NEW compressor to the cost of 495.00 canadian, shipped. But I must have a Frigidaire approved installer put it in at the cost of 695.00, bringing the total repair to 1100.00 Well we decided to just scrap the fridge since the repair is so costly, and no guarantee it would last. So why not just buy a new Fridge from another manufacturer. Oh ya did I mention Samsung, Dayco and numerous other manufacturers have increased the warranty periods on their refrigerators. The last time I ever buy a Frigidaire or Electrolux product ever. Also I will make sure as many people know as possible that they do not stand behind their product.

Purchased in 12/2019 and installed for use 6/2020. In November used self-clean option as recommended by brochure. Shortly after code FO45 appeared every time turned on. Service persons report over heating caused by self-clean caused need to replace Control panel and fan. Service company working for Frigidaire would replace once I pulled out oven from wall to make accessible. Now Frigidaire//Electroluxs own service personnel coming to replace these parts. But I have been advised not to use the self-cleaning since it will happen again. To add to frustration with Frigidaire, the Frigidaire Refrigerator purchased in 4/2020 and installed to be used at same time (6/2020) now has a malfunctioning freezer. Would I purchase another Frigidaire product or recommend? NO!!

I had my Frigidaire appliances installed 1.5 years ago. I bought the four-appliance deal for $1,700 after rebate. Just recently, my oven just stopped working from one day to the next. I literally used it once about 6 months ago. The control panel just went out. I thought it was off because of a power surge in the neighborhood. But I realized that if that was the case, the clock would have turned back on eventually by itself. But it never did. The gas burners work fine. When I called Frigidaire, they said, Sorry, youre no longer under warranty. I asked them to send a tech out at their expense since the stove was only 2.5 years old and this was obviously a defective appliance. They said no. Whats more upsetting is that I had just thrown out my old stove which I held on to for a while because I was worried about buying new appliances. And boy was I right. They just dont make anything like they used to. My old one was over 10 years old and it worked fine. Frigidaire has terrible quality and I would never purchase it again. Oh and my dishwasher doesnt work right either. Thats about $900 down the drain for those two items. Thanks, Frigidaire! Im not even going to bother trying to fix it. Maybe, I can sell it for parts.

We bought a new Frigidaire range and the oven door handle fell off right after one year warranty. The problem is, we seldom use oven, at most 20 times a year. And it conveniently broke after one year warranty. Yesterday, the entire oven outer door with glass fell off while nobody used range at the time. It was scary, especially since we have young children walking by. Bad workmanship. Horrible experience!

Frigidaire gas range - One of the burners burns way too high and hot. The manual says it can be adjusted. I had 2 service calls for this issue. Both servicemen said it was by design and there was nothing wrong with it. What??? It does not have a low setting, I cannot use this burner and it is the largest one! Frigidaire uses a third party service, AE Factory Service in Texas. Im Im Maine, they have no idea who they are sending and they dont care. I bought a new Frigidaire refrigerator from a company that went out of business a few months later (H.H. Gregg). Within 6 months, we experienced multiple problems (doors would not stay shut, shelves breaking loose from brackets, icemaker malfunctioning). Called Frigidaire just prior to manufacturer warranty expiration; they scheduled a service call from a local repair shop. I stayed home from work to meet them, but they did not show up. It took over 2 weeks for them to find a different local repair shop. Missed work again to meet them; they couldnt fix it without replacement parts. 3rd service call (more missed work), discovered Frigidaire sent defective repair parts! 4th service call (more missed work), they finally gave up and said the appliance was a manufacturer defect and unrepairable. By this time, the manufacturer warranty had expired, so Frigidaire/Electrolux refused to cover the replacement cost! Same problem it took them weeks to conclude was not repairable. Their incompetence led to the delays past the warranty period. Finally offered to give me a replacement unit if I agreed to pay a $325 shipping and handling charge! Even I agreed to that, they would not guarantee that the new unit would be free of defects. Said I would have to rely on their standard limited warranty for repairs to the second unit. I refused and demanded a full refund, but they wouldnt budge. They even refused to pay the bill for the multiple service calls to try and repair the first piece of junk, until I threatened legal action. Their customer service was beyond terrible. They lied repeatedly and could not communicate within their own company. They did not care about me or my concerns. I will NEVER buy another product from that unethical company!

I purchase Frigidaire Gallery appliances in 2013 and did not purchase the extended warranty. I assume the appliances will go bad, my new stove of 4 years died, my refrigerator of 4 years got a ticking noise coming from it, dont know how long my dishwasher will last, dont use it every day like my other appliances. I would advised DO NOT BUY THESE PRODUCTS, THEY ARE NOT GOOD. Frigidaire knows this, that is why they will push customers to purchase a warranty. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE PRODUCTS FROM FRIGIDAIRE. Also I called customer service, and was told I should have purchase that warranty, so this tells me that is making substandard products, and not only do they make money on the product, they are making it on the warranties as well. Shame on you Frigidaire.

My wife purchased the extended warranty service from Frigidaire in case our Frigidaire washing machine or dryer went out. After our washer stopped working due to some type of drum problem. Frigidaire sent a technician (American TV and electronics), who did not open the washer but tried to inspect the problem by trying to spin the drum. According to the technician there was something stuck in the drum and they required authorization from Frigidaire to continue with repairs. Frigidaire refused to authorize repair and called it customer neglect. Well, I opened the washing machine myself and opened the washer tub assembly, only difficulty was the weight of the tub assembly.Needless to say there was no clothing stuck in the drum. I ordered the rear bearing (manufacturer defective; 1 year old Frigidaire affinity washer - $900.00 dollars) which I personally switched. Washer is working perfectly. Lazy technicians did not want to check interior problem. Requested refund for extended warranty for both washer and dryer. Frigidaire said that they were going to charge technicians fee. Two weeks have passed and there has been no refund. By the way when my wife called Frigidaire they kept telling her that their district manager had been e-mailed for authorization. Being in retail myself all decisions go to location manager. As a school teacher I will let my students now that Frigidaire will not stand by their product, nor their warranty promise.

The 24-inch gas wall ovens are not displayed in stores. So, I made my purchase online from Airport Home Appliances. The difference in the appearance of the oven online and in person was as different as night and day. The oven sits too far off the cabinet. Which did not show online. There’s no frame around the oven, so it looks unfinished. The interior of the oven sides, door and gauges were not even. The bottom drawer was uneven, flimsy, and the parts inside were bent and didnt close completely. Airport Home Appliance agreed regarding the defective/damaged oven and ordered a replacement. Unfortunately, the 2nd oven had the same issues. They did remove the oven from my home. I paid $1699.00 for this oven, not including taxes and installation. Airport Appliances have told me it was manufactured that way and can’t promise me a refund. The oven was removed from my home. So now I have no oven and missing $2000.00.

I had recently purchased a stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer. Have had problems with all of them. Stove - just before Christmas stove cracked out. Called Spencers home and appliances. They fixed it. Microwave started sparking. Spencers fixed it. Dishwasher - 2 days after install control panel went out. Spencers came out and fixed it. Dryer hinge wont stay closed. Spencers came out and fixed it. ALL FRIGIDAIRE products!!!!! Now here is the sad part. Dishwasher control panel went out again just about 12 months after it was replaced. WOW!! DRYER door broke again. Im starting to see a pattern!!! Ive had to have this stuff fixed. Called customer service. This was a joke. Finally I was baked into a corner where I had to buy their warranty. 250 dollars but didnt go into effect until a month out. Then they put the warranty on the wrong appliances but they didnt care. Then they didnt bother telling me they were going to fix it without me purchasing the warranty. So at the end of the road I got no help from Elizabeth their supervisor. This company plays the odds of who will actually keep coming after them. Dont buy their products. I own a construction company. I am hiring 25 people to stand out in front of a lot of their stores with sign in protest. I will go buy new products.. Yes this will all cost me a lot of money but its going to cost them more. What this company is doing is not right or ethical They will hide behind their warranties to get over on people instead of doing the right thing. Next is BBB.

Had fridge for three years, broke 5 times. Two different repair places came to fix it. Fresno was bad, Bakersfield was even worse. Bakersfield tech was great but said Frigidaire has a policy that they have to try to fix it even if it cant be fixed, it would take three attempts to try to fix it. The receptionist lost our or forgot our appointments as she chuckled, but thats another review at a later time. Now Frigidaire said it would take 4 attempt to fix it. Same error code on fridge, same parts repaired on fridge 4 times. I have emails from first manager stating 3 times, now today they say 4. Kind of funny, the story keeps changing. Frigidaire claims until cost-prohibitive - it cost me 1500 plus extended warranty 500 plus 300 for food that went bad over a three-week period for each repair to be completed. So Im out 2300 now, not sure what they deem cost-prohibitive.

BUYER BEWARE! In March of 2015 I purchased all new Frigidaire smudge proof appliances, spending almost $6,000.00. I am not impressed at all. Right off the bat, I had an issue with the dishwasher. It was not drying the dishes, I had to manually dry the dishes as I put them away. After several days, I knew something was wrong, so I contacted Lowes (where I purchased them) and they made an appointment for a Frigidaire service call. The gentleman that came out to check it out, was a little surprised to see there was no fan or blower located in the dishwasher which normally dries the dishes, so he contacted Frigidaire for repairs.Needless to say, I was told by the Frigidaire folks that The dishwasher was working the way that it was meant to. With the new technology no blower or fan is needed. What you need to do is after the cycle runs, (which takes about 126 mins or so on a normal cycle) you must open the door and let the hot steam out so the dishes can dry. REALLY??? LOL, I run my dishwasher at night while sleeping, if they think Im going to get up at 2 in the morning to open the dishwasher door so the dishes can dry they are nuts. If this is Frigidaires new technology, I suggest they go back to the old way. (Not happy.)Next is the Refrigerator. The Ice maker is horrible. You can stand there for several minutes and IF youre lucky an small ice cube will dispense into the glass. By the time you get an entire glass of ice, its already melting in the glass. And forget it if you need a lot of ice (ex: in an ice tea maker) it does not make enough ice for that. (Not happy.)Lastly is the Range. After 2 weeks, which I used it 3 times I noticed little bubbles started to appear on the smooth top range. At first I thought it was dirty so I used the little pad and the bottle of cleaner that came with the Range, but to my dismay I realized the smooth top is bubbling, so again I contacted Frigidaire and they sent someone out for a service call. The gentleman looked at it and took photos to send in for review. After 3 weeks, when I had not heard anything I contacted Frigidaire. I was told that some how I had damaged the top and they would replace the top, but I would have to pay almost $200.00 for the part!!! Wait a minute, I had only used it 3 times, and did not scrap it or spill over on it or anything, how could I have damaged it??? First of all I had a Whirlpool smooth top range for 20 yrs, and never did the top bubble like this, and YES, I did spill things on that from time to time. So I guess this means that Frigidaire ranges are not able to handle any normal spills! (Not happy.) The only good thing that I can say about this product, is the smudge proof coating, yes that is a nice feature. Will I ever buy another Frigidaire product - ABSOLUTELY NOT! Will I ever recommend a Frigidaire product - ABSOLUTELY NOT!

I purchased a Frigidaire microwave on November 2018, October of 2019. The microwave rack caught on fire. I filed a claim with Frigidaire. They sent a technician to my home who never opened the panel. He sprayed it with spray paint changed the hook. The microwave now knocks the power out in my kitchen. I spoke to a corporate supervisor who sent another technician out who was very rude, stated he was not working behind another technician, he should have done the job right the first time and he left my home. I called the supervisor back, she sent another technician out. He opened the microwave, took pictures, referred back to his phone and it still doesn’t work. He stated it may have to be taken back to the shop. He left without the microwave. I called his office back and was told he ordered more parts which was not what he stated to me. I called the supervisor back and she stated that she would need to send another technician out. I explained how angry I am at this point. I feel that no one not even the corporate supervisor cared about me or my families safety are danger. And I will never purchase another Frigidaire product and I will be sharing my experience with everyone who I know and more. Anytime the corporate Supervisor told me to take the microwave back to Home Depot and they would have to take it back once they hear my frustration is said, not only did she lie she knew she was brushing me off. All four of the (no name) bulbs in the ovens failed within three months of very limited use, suggesting to me that Frigidaire/Electrolux were using cheap and nasty bulbs of unspecified make which were not fit for the intended purpose. I replaced them all with bulbs from Noma and not one of the four Noma ones has failed since.About 10 months ago, we carried out the recommended self-clean cycle, following which the top oven would not come up to temperature. Sears service was called, took up my time removing the oven from its cabinet and replaced the thermal trip/breaker which is located in an absurdly inaccessible place at the back and behind the oven for a (resettable!) trip. Sears wisely decided to fit a new trip rather than just resetting the original one. Then, about three weeks ago, we noticed that the enamel is failing on the bottom of the top oven casing, clearly the result of faulty manufacturing. It has fallen off in several places. I contacted Sears and they claimed that this was cosmetic and not covered by the extended warranty which I had purchased. At my insistence, their service man came out and inspected it and clearly told me that me his view is that this was not cosmetic but is a manufacturing fault. I was party to his end of the telecon he then had with his supervisor, and it was clear that his supervisor was telling him (from 2000 miles away, never having seen the problem at first hand) that as far as Sears was concerned, it was cosmetic and not covered by warranty. Sears made no reference to Frigidaire on the issue. It was clear that the dishonest Sears supervisor was telling his service technician that he was to tell me that the issue was cosmetic, and appeared to be instructing him that that was what he was to write in his report. I spoke to Sears customer Service (a misnomer if ever there was one) and they told me that the service guy had stated in his report that is was a cosmetic issue, not covered. They then told me that they had ordered a replacement casing (in effect recognizing that it needed replacing) and that I would be charged for it. Well, at some point, theyll be asking me for my credit card Number and no way will I ever be giving them that! We carried out another self-cleaning cycle a couple of weeks ago and the top oven once again will not reach the set temperature. Looks like the issue is not the trip at all, but a more fundamental problem. So, but for the fact that we have the second oven, wed have been ovenless again for some weeks. This week, I phoned Sears and told them that after all these issues over 18 months of very limited and very careful usage, I wanted a replacement oven, as I was unprepared to tolerate such an unreliable and poorly-manufactured product and could not devote yet more of my valuable time to dealing with yet more service calls. They have declined to agree to that.Today, I contacted Frigidaire/Electrolux in Misssauga and spoke to some creature whose English was barely understandable and who basically told me that the whole matter was one for Sears, not Electrolux. I found him obstructive, unhelpful and unworthy of a customer service position. There was no recognition that any of these issues were in any way the responsibility of Frigidaire/Electrolux as the manufacturer of the appliance! So, both Sears and Electrolux will now find that they are having to deal with a Scotsman who doesnt tolerate fools gladly, doesnt tolerate so-called customer service as appalling and unreasonable as this and doesnt tolerate being *** to.I am truly appalled at the obstructive, dishonest and unreasonable attitudes of both Sears and Electrolux and currently await a visit from a senior Sears technician, which is being arranged at my insistence. Neither Sears nor Electrolux give a *** for the fact that a customer has spent several thousand dollars on a major name product branded professional (suggesting superior quality and reliability) which is of unmerchantable and unsatisfactory quality. I wouldnt touch another Frigidaire/Electrolux appliance with a bargepole but this issue is far from over. Watch this space!

I had Frigidaire microwave over the range at home. It only lasted 4 year. I had a professional technician over to examine. He found out the product is defective because of control board and magnetrod. These 2 key parts only last 4 years. It showed the poor quality of the product. I had to buy a new one. I used Frigidaire refrigerator for only one year, and one part (timer) got broken. I had to order a new part to replace. It costed me $200+ total for labor and part to fix it. I am not satisfied with Frigidaire brand and will not recommend anyone to buy the brand. The manufacturer (Electrolux in Mississauga, Ontario) had a terrible customer service.

Purchased a new house in 2008 and decided to upgrade to some nice new stainless appliances. The company recommended Frigidaire. Poor decision. The stove threw sparks when the oven door was closed due to poor wiring under the glass top. The microwave was so loud, it had to be replaced immediately. Now when a cabinet door is closed, the microwave turns on by itself and you have to open the microwave door and close it to turn it off. The dishwasher is hard to close, its noisy, and the gaskets started falling off within a year. The refrigerator door shelves broke several times under normal use and the company refused to acknowledge issues with poor design, then denied sending us replacements. Now the temperature control actuator that opens and closes to let cold air in started clicking, then broke, and wont hold a temperature under 40.This is without a doubt the poorest quality appliance company EVER. I have a 15 year old GE Hotpoint refrigerator in the garage we use for extra food, milk and beverage storage, and have never had an issue with it. If I had the money to replace it all tomorrow, I would take every bit of this garbage, and deliver it right back to the front door of the company with a few choice words painted all over it.

Frigidaire Gallery Series only worthy of a shooting gallery. Upon purchasing our new townhouse from a developer we opted to upgrade our appliances - all of which were Frigidaire products including washer, dryer, dishwasher, stove. A garden hose and a table fan would have been more effective than either the washer dryer combo or the dishwasher. Despite being labelled as commercial, heavy duty, super capacity it doesnt take an active imagination to realize that it must have been opposite day when the marketing team drunkenly scribbled the copy they wanted to label the washer/dryer with. We consistently have to remove wet clothes from the dryer and run it again with only a handful of pieces. It usually takes three complete cycles on the highest heat setting to dry even the most modest load of laundry. The washer stops mid cycle on account of being over weighted with a single set of bedsheets The same goes for the dishwasher which takes over 3 noisy hours to run a single normal setting wash, only to find half the pre-rinsed dishes still need to be hand washed. Complete waste of money and time. AVOID AT ALL COST.

18 months ago we purchased a Kenmore Laundry center, model 970L97422F0, that was made Frigidaire. The washer DOES NOT fill with enough water to do the cleaning. More often than not there are dry spots. We had the repairman out twice and his only solution for the problem was to add a pail of water before starting the machine, so to trick it to think that the weight was more. Also it is the nosiest washer we have ever owned!! It sounds like a cement mixer when it is running. Phone calls to Sears and Frigidaire go unanswered. The last email I sent to them, over two weeks ago, only received an automatic response saying someone would be back to me within 24 hours - you guessed it, they didnt reply.

I bought Frigidaire upright freezer (m# FFFU20F2VW) 9 months ago. It died last week. Service man came out and said this happens a lot with these (model? brand?). He said that Frigidaire should cover THIS repair. but with the same part number as what just failed? So in 9 months it will be another $400? Frigidaire is giving me a lot of double talk and telling me to pay for insurance. $200. Adding up fast. Dont know if there IS a good brand out there, but it obviously is NOT Frigidaire.

I will never buy another Frigidaire product again! This brand is horrible with nothing short of cheaply made and no warranty! Major appliances should last years without any issues but not Frigidaire. Bought my electric range a few years ago. Got a great deal on a discontinued model. Love the ceramic top -- easy to clean, although it no longer looks just like new. Stove top and oven work fine and I do a lot of cooking and baking. It's simple to use. Don't like appliances with too many features that make them complicated to operate. Must hold the temperature well because baked goods always get done in the amount of time recommended in the recipe. Love that it's white too. Looks so nice and bright.

We bought all new Frigidaire appliances when moving into our new home 7 years ago. The first to go was the Dishwasher about 2 years ago due to leaking. We just discovered ice forming on the back of our Refrigerator then suddenly the ice maker stopped working. We can access water from the door still but the whole back of the Refrigerator is rusting out due to the ice formation and we have to buy new Refrigerator now. They offered us $500 toward a new one but will never buy from Frigidaire again. The Gas Stove is not holding up well either as the coating is peeling away from the control panel looks terrible. I am writing this now because I just discovered our Electrolux Dryer (made by Frigidaire) is also broken - on Normal setting it is stuck on Air Dry. I have seen 30 year old appliances that look better and still work. WARNING. DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE.

4 new Frigidaire professional appliances. Year 2 replaced stoves control panel (over $300) and ice maker in fridge needed repair. Year 3 ice maker repair again, year 4 dishwasher leaking and had to replace. Fridge ice maker and water dispenser repair. Year 7 stove started to smoke (when back was removed the wire assembly for bake was melted into the control panel) so had to replace. So that leaves only 1 appliance (microwave) that remains. I bought a Frigidaire front load washer, and have had problems right from the start, so we had gotten a extended warranty through Frigidaire, and have had problem after problem (serviced at least 7 times in 3 1/2 years), and told from a Manager at customer service Jennifer that not only will they not replace this lemon of a washer, but are not responsible for the horrible service men they send out to my home, the first one General key Stone tried to lie and say it was something I put in my washer causing the problem to the company, but told me different, and found out from another service man that he just lied cause it was a hard to get to piece he had to replace, and then that service man who came back several times hit a valve and caused my basement to somewhat flood with this rusted water from a old pipe that was not being used, and brand new towels were ruined, along with a throw rug. You also have to wait for the servicemen to come, (and take off from work these days, and pay for wash to be cleaned while waiting), and then wait at least a week or 2 or 3 for the parts, and then another week for the repair Apt. This company is of no help. Do not buy anything from Frigidaire including any service contract. Youre better off just buying a new machine from a good company like Whirlpool. Will never purchase anything from Frigidaire again.

ATTENTION CONSUMERS!!!! DONT BUY!! This is an honest warning from one consumer to another! Don’t buy Frigidaire. They don’t last more than 7 years. I replaced my Kenmore fridge and that’s still making ice and water as we speak in the garage just fine. My fridge from Frigidaire cut out on me 3 times and parts were replaced 3 times at my expense and yet again broke down. My gas range seems to auto ghost mode on at 400 degrees or higher so now I have to keep that unplugged. My dryer was worked on several times and $100’s was poured into my dryer for parts and labor. The washer doesn’t spin the water out of clothes anymore. And now the dishwasher just generates random wash times while in a wash cycle.Frigidaire products are garbage and won’t last. I spoke to a corporate supervisor. And it was a slap to the face to offer me 20% off parts after explaining my situation and what has been going on since I purchased these products. All in all if you want cheap buy from Frigidaire. If you want to talked to like an idiot buy Frigidaire. Or if you truly listen to other consumers go elsewhere!!!

Frigidaire apparently is one the few manufacturers that wants to deal directly with purchasers of their products. You wouldnt think so today after their service representative wouldnt let me speak to his manager and hung up on me. I bought a refrigerator one month ago from a store in Vaughan. It arrived defective from Frigidaire. They scratched my hardwood, my brand new white rug had black marks on and my walls were damaged. Fixable, but annoying nonetheless. The same day the fridge was delivered, I sent a video to the delivery department, who sent it to Frigidaire, showing the problems/defects. Someone was supposed to get back to us within a few days. A few weeks later, there was still no call from anyone, no follow up. After a total of six calls, waiting 20+ minutes each time for someone to pick up, getting constantly passed off and their CSRs passing the buck back onto us to follow up with them once again if we dont hear back, we finally got a technician out to look at the refrigerator, almost one month later. Repair guy stayed for less than 5 minutes and told us the unit was non-repairable. I called Frigidaire again, waited for another 20+ minutes, and spoke to Rodney, who put me on a long hold. He kept switching off his mic while I was trying to explain what happened. He clearly wasnt interested in helping at all so I asked to speak to a manager instead. He said no. A few times he refused. I asked why and he said because. Then he pretended he couldnt hear me asking and hung up on me. This experience really left a terrible taste in my mouth. People, if you need to buy appliances, rethink choosing Frigidaire. Do your research and try to choose a manufacturer that wont treat you like total garbage after you spend thousands on their product.

My microwave at home is an OTR from Frigidaire. 1 month out of mfg warranty
My microwave at home is an OTR from Frigidaire. 1 month out of mfg warranty, it stopped working in the middle of cooking some steam-fresh veggies on July 23rd. I called the service dept and they had me purchase a 1 year extended warranty for about $30 and then created a service tech visit for me. A few days later, I got an email saying the service visit was scheduled for August 27th (more than 30 days!). I called and asked if there would be anything shorter than 30+ days and was reassured that Frigidaire would find a new date that wasnt so far out as they agreed it was a very long wait time. I never got a call back on that and never got a new service window or scheduled time.So Aug 27th came and I called Frigidaire again to make sure this was still scheduled in the system because I never got any confirmation call in the week leading up to the appointment. I was assured this service visit was still scheduled, so my husband stayed home from work all day to wait for the technician. The service tech never showed up (I called them every hour during their 8 AM - 5 PM window and they never answered or returned my voicemails). So I called Frigidaire back and they said they would try to get another service tech scheduled. The next day, I got a call back and was told they couldnt find a service tech, so they would do a product exchange and I would get the details within 2 days.So this morning, it had been 2 days and I still hadnt heard about the exchange details, so I called Frigidaire back. They told me that they will have the ticket for review for 6-8 business days and they will let me know on September 10th if they are able to find a new service tech or if they will do the exchange AND they said that if they do the exchange, I will now be responsible to pay the delivery and installation fees. So it will be 49 days from my initial issue before I find out what the (hopefully) final resolution will be. I was told by the supervisor on this last call that she firmly believes this is a good customer service practice.

When the original light bulb in the refrigerated section of my Frigidaire side-by-side burnt out, I really didnt think it was so unusual. Ill just purchase a new bulb and replace it. This should be simple. Well, not so simple. Upon attempting to remove the bulb, it would not turn. I was afraid to apply excessive force since I didnt want to break it off in the socket. I couldnt understand why I was having so much difficulty removing a light bulb. So I poked my head in the refrigerator to get a closer look. I was amazed and concerned at what I saw. The bulb had burned the plastic lining above it. The bulb was stuck to the top of the liner. After several more attempts to remove the bulb, I finally succeeded. There is a considerable amount of damage to the liner, including a small hole in the middle of the egg size crater that was created by the hot light bulb. Im not only concerned that this has compromised the cooling capacity of my refrigerator. But that it could be a potential fire hazard. Still, I continue, with increasing doubt, to replace light bulbs with increasing frequency. I just installed the fourth bulb. Please help! Am I and my family in any immediate danger from this defective product?

I purchased all new appliances for our kitchen 3 years ago. We bought the professional series 2 door refrigerator with the bottom freezer, the professional dishwasher, the professional cooktop, the professional double oven and the gallery convection/microwave with the ventless hood.. We have had continual issues with the double oven model number fpet3077rfa. Initial install the motherboard and fans burned and almost caught our house on fire. Then we used the self cleaning mode a few months later and the upper oven had several failures and took over 2 months to get it properly repaired. Now both ovens do not cook food evenly. The back half will be burned and the front half will not be fully cooked. Two weeks ago our convection/microwave model number fgmv154clfa completely stopped working. It is not the breaker and there is power to the unit. We have called a service company but they are two weeks out before they can make it here. Our refrigerator is making strange noises and with all we have had to deal with it is overwhelming. We spent a lot of money getting what we thought was quality, top of the line appliances that would last us 10 years plus and they have been problems since day 1. We will not purchase Frigidaire products again.C.

Ordered a replacement part from this company and they sent the wrong piece. Discovered a problem with the people they have in the ordering department. They do not listen to you, make promises they never keep and the supervisors go only by the reps notes so they intentionally do not put anything in those notes to protect themselves. Called three times for a return form and I was told I never called. Ordered my part from a small business and received it in one day. Terrible customer service.Bought Frigidaire refrigerator, stove and dishwasher for the new addition in 2014. Fridge burned out the motherboard 3 years later (used a 50 year old Sears Coldspot that still works for weeks). Ice maker has always had cubes that stick so it clunks till you pull out the cube. Hardly ever use it. The one time I did turn it on and didnt hear the clunking but when I opened the door I found the entire freezer frozen in a giant ice cube from top to bottom. The dishwasher has had a heat sensor burn out. Also the wash cycle would never advanced till our repairman (not a Frigidaire repairman) told us about a design flaw. You cant use the Hot Wash Cycle ever because it will never heat the water enough to advance out of the wash cycle. The oven door has slots so if you accidentally spill you have to take the entire door apart to clean. Will never buy this product again.

Everything is well so far then I start receiving calls from the company that fixed the range, they didnt get paid. I called Frigidaire extended warranty and what a surprise they want me to pay $25 more for them to honor the warranty. They said that they didnt charge enough in the beginning of the contract, and the contractor will keep calling me at work and on my cell until I paid them. All my attempts to explain to them that we paid what they want us to pay and that I still have the invoice, to no avail. The contractor was calling sometimes six to seven times a day at work mostly until we paid them the $25. These people acted like the mob, you pay us or else, even we have a contract that paid fully. Ive never written or voiced a complaint about a product before... but this is the worst company and product that I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing and I feel compelled to warn anyone about to spend thousands of dollars on junk. We upgraded our kitchen with perfectly good functioning appliances and replaced with Frigidaire professional series stainless appliances thinking that the look and functionality would be be an upgrade. We are sad to say that we have had a revolving door with repair-people on ALL appliances... especially poor are the dishwasher and microwave with multi-failures. We purchased our first extended warranty only due to the fact that we know that we are going to need it to manage their poor performing products. (FPHD2491KFO, KPBM189KFC, PHB2899LFB).We thought at first we had a bad luck but in two years the repairman that has repeatedly been to our house replacing two magnetrons in the microwave, pumps in the dishwasher, motherboard in dishwasher, motherboard in stove, not sure what was done to our warm, non-freezing freezer. The repairman said that we unfortunately bought junk and the 8 or so repair visits taught us how to manage our appliances. Examples of how I can better manage my new professional appliances: Dont boil a lot of water on stove. That will eat at the electronics of the motherboard of stove and over the counter microwave both of which have been replaced. Dont use rack in microwave as they are known to fry magnetrons... No advice given after second blown magnetron and no rack in microwave. Dont use liquid dish soap in dishwasher (wont clean dishes). Clean your dishes before putting in dishwasher (to avoid plugging of pump). Only use 1 tablespoon of dry soap in dishwasher... That is all that is needed to clean dishes. Avoid using heat dry in dishwasher to avoid motherboard from frying.Need I say more? These are perfect appliances for you if like to spend thousands of dollars in appliances only to have multi-repair visits, a $700 microwave currently busted, missed work for multi-days to fix new appliances, spend hundreds on warranties to manage faulty products, And have fun dealing with customer service and the warranty division too. Every time you call, it is like you have never called for a warranty claim ever. Youll have to ask them to dig deep to find your appliance issues and they always seem surprised.

I bought this oven a couple of years ago. The oven door got rusted in a little over a year. This has never happened with other brands of appliances I have purchased over the years. I called customer service and they refused to help! I am disappointed in the product and the service. Needless to say I will never be purchasing this brand again!! My family has used Frigidaire appliance for decades and so I trusted the brand. I am extremely disappointed in them! So much for brand loyalty.

I have owned several stainless steel refrigerators. Whirlpool and GE never had any issues with the stainless steel. The last one I owned I had 10 years and it was placed in the same location in my house with no problems and no rust at all. The Frigidaire I owned less then 2 years and the entire front of both doors are covered in rust. No fault of my own. This they consider to be cosmetic. Absolutely ridiculous. Its cheap quality stainless or a defect. Either way I would not recommend anything stainless steel from frigidaire. They will not back up their products.

As with another review, I also tried not to give any stars but was unable to. I purchased both a Frigidaire fridge and dishwasher in May 2011. I hadnt even had the fridge 3 months before experiencing problems. The food in the bottom tray of the fridge kept freezing and the ice dispenser would not dispense ice. I was provided with three services companies which I could contact according to Frigidaire since the product was under warranty. I scheduled my first appointment, just to have the service man inform me that Frigidaire has been having many issues with this fridge and he didnt have the part that was needed and would need to come back. He came back and installed the correct part, so the fridge would dispense ice but yet the food in the bottom tray was still freezing. A few months later the fridge stopped dispensing ice again.I called and made another appointment, just to have the service man come out and say I see what its doing and when I run all the tests it is passing, but I need to call the manufacturer and they are closed. Having to schedule another appointment which I did, just to have the same thing happen again!! This has been an ongoing issue for about 5-6 months now. All of a sudden the dishwasher is now falling apart as well. I have asked numerous times for a refund and have been told unless you have had three services and them manufacturer deems the product un-repairable, we cannot offer you a refund. In such an economy when people have to work to pay for appliances costing $2000 they expect people to work around their schedule, because it seems like they are never open. I will never purchase another appliance from this manufacturer ever again. I would much rather pay a little bit more if I had to just to avoid the headaches and excuses I have had to deal with.

In February 2018, after seven years of owning a basic cheap model dishwasher (that was working fine), we decided to upgrade to a Frigidaire dishwasher. What an awful mistake; our nice, new, fancy dishwasher stopped working this week. We had a repairman out and were informed that the dishwasher needed a new motor. That is absolutely ridiculous - the dishwasher gets very little usage but is now totally useless to us. Do not, do not, DO NOT purchase a Frigidaire dishwasher. Frigidaire has been in business for years and you would think they would have gotten it right by now. When I was growing up there were a few products that everyone loved: Frigidaire, Tupperware and S&H Green Stamps. (I am really dating myself) S&H Green Stamps are long gone, Tupperware is almost exclusively online and Frigidaire no longer equals quality. What a sham and a shame.

I upgraded my kitchen with a new 4 piece silver, grey mist Frigidaire appliances. I was told that Frigidaire was the best. My previous appliance was Frigidaire. I had no problem with them. My refrigerator broke within a 1.5 years. I was awaken by my smoke detector @ 4:30 am on 10/11/14. My kitchen was completely filled with smoke and a burning smell. After searching for what was burning, I saw smoke coming from the back of my fridge; so scary. I have NEVER had a problem with a NEW appliance before this issue. Called Frigidaire and was given no sympathy or empathy. I was told it no longer under warranty and that I should purchase an extended warranty after I have the problem fixed. The parts on my American made appliances were shown as made in Mexico. Very Strange. I could not see paying $1000s for appliances then paying $800 to get a NEW appliance fixed. My heart was broken. After 2 weeks with no fridge, they agreed to pay for the parts, but the labor and service call was well over $300. Frigidaire need to work on their Customer Service Dept. I was hung up on several times, after being on hold for 30 minutes, my call was placed back into the cue, I was given misinformation, the list goes on and on. I just cant believe a company that I thought was so upstanding, turned out to be very disgraceful. I can no longer tell my friends and family to purchase any Frigidaire appliances. Yes, it looks great, but thats about it. :-( I have receipts, documentation, names and dates to back up every thing I have said, which is entirely true.

I love the timer, 30 second feature, quick timed cooking, popcorn and other favorite button features. It has a wired shelf where I can heat or cook items on the top and below. I can remove the shelf for larger pots. Of course, it has a carousel. It looks great and easy to clean. Works great!

They are almost impossible to get service from them, they also insist that the warranty was expired, when is NOT. I had to fax them a copy of my receipt. Horrible experience, I ask for an RA# to change the fridge for another one and Valerie the manager immediately said, NO! You have to keep the same one. I would prefer no stars but unfortunately I was not given that option! I will never again purchase anything made by Frigidaire or their partners. I bought a stop top from them when we built our house 12 years ago. After 7 or 8 years, one of the switches broke. There was no problem with this. But when we called to get the replacement part ($123 plus S&H), what they sent us was not the original part. It had been replaced by a very poor quality universal part. I called to tell them that this part would not last and that I was sure it would break again. Their customer service department gave us no options! Well, a couple of years later, the part did indeed break again. We called CS again and was told that they would be glad to sell us another switch and that a repair technician would have to come and replace it. We would have to pay for that charge as well. After much hassle on the phone, they finally agreed to have him come out at no charge to us, because they thought we were not placing the switch in correctly and that was surely the reason it broke! Well, once again, the switch has broken. Our only recourse is to buy a 3rd switch for another $123 plus S&H. I have several issues with Frigidaire in regards to this issue! First, only one person that I spoke to today even tried to be helpful. I was transferred to multiple people and all of them seemed to be confused as to what they were supposed to be doing. They obviously do not understand what customer service really is. They kept asking me what I wanted from them. I told them the problem again and again and asked for a permanent solution to a very expensive problem! After replacing this switch 3 or 4 times, I could buy a new stop top! Not one person offered to send a new part out for free because of this being an on-going problem! Now, that would have gotten a raving fans review! I understand that they dont want to sell me replacement parts. They want to sell me a new stove top! But that is not what I expect from a company that advertises their products as top of the line and high in performance etc. Secondly, it is a crying shame for them to charge $123 for a small switch that probably cost them $5 or $10 to make! That is price gouging if I have ever heard of it. And the last time I checked, price gouging is illegal! I am so disappointed in this company and it is very unfortunate, because overall, I love the stovetop. When it has to be replaced however, it will definitely not be replaced with another Frigidaire product! I am curious to know if other people have had problems with this replacement switch (part no. 318078200)! This is the first time I have ever rated an experience with such negativity, but this has been the most frustrating situation! By the way, I found the switch on www.knobshopper.com for $29. Now what does that tell you?

We recently had our kitchen remodeled, and we felt we got a good deal on Frigidaire appliances. Now I know why. Weve had trouble with all three Frigidaire appliances: refrigerator, range and microwave. Our biggest problem and what makes me angry is that the microwave, out-of-the-box, was defective. The refrigerator was repaired; were going to find out about whether the range can be repaired later this week, but the microwave was irreparable. So, Frigidaire offered to give us a replacement (however, they have none of the model we purchased in stock and according to their representative, Agneka **, when they will have one is indeterminate). If I wait for a new microwave (which it appears may never happen, since I read indeterminate as discontinued), Frigidaire will pay for installation. My other option is for Frigidaire to buy-back the microwave at retail. This, according to Ms. **, is for the convenience of the customer and not Frigidaire policy (this is a clue to how basically non-consumer centered Frigidaire is). They will not, however, pay for installation of the microwave, even though the reason for an installation charge is their defective machine. As you can imagine, I have to go through a number of hoops before Frigidaire will send the buy-back check. Im guessing it will be three to five weeks before I see the check. In the meantime, I plan to buy a new microwave, but not from our original vendor and not from Frigidaire. Dont buy from Frigidaire, period.

I have sent this to Frigidaire twice now in two weeks with no call or reply. Their auto-reply states you will get a call back within 48 hours. We purchased some land and built a house on it in October of 2014. I went online and compared ratings for the 5 appliances we were going to put in our new house. Frigidaire was one of the few that had pretty solid ratings for all five appliances we needed. We had our builder work with his appliance company which was out of I think Tappahannock, Virginia. They ordered and installed all of them. The appliances we purchased are as follows: Dishwasher (Mod# FGID2474QF0A SN# KH41722641), Refrigerator (Mod# FFSS2614QS0 SN# 4A42730844), Cook Top Stove (Mod# FPEC3685H5A SN# 3535107151), Microwave (Mod# FGMV175QFA SN# KG42705552), Double Oven (Mod# FFET2725PSC SN# AF41601871).Here is a list of the issues to date. Microwave - before we could even use it the front door had issues and it had to be replaced. Refrigerator - this issue still exists and is the latest issue we have experienced. Ice Maker not getting water to the ice maker. I have changed the filter and worked with your support person and the issue still exists. Cook Top Stove - this was the biggest issue we had. Little Appliance came to our house at least 6 times for this unit. We went without a stove for 3 weeks or more one time and a week or two another time. After several attempts they finally replaced the whole unit. Dishwasher - The operator panel was just locking up intermittently and I think after two visits they replaced the board for this issue. Double Oven - this issue still exist as well. When the unit says it is preheated I believe it is the top over still is not as hot as the bottom oven. We were told to give it an extra 15 to 20 minutes after it says it is preheated. I would like a call back from a manager within Frigidaire to discuss these issues. Some additional Information - we have three people that use the products in this house all at the age of 48 and up. No kids.

In 2015 I purchased new oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. I have had problems with all except for the microwave (of course the least expensive item). I will never purchase Frigidaire products again. First, the dishwasher started leaking right away, within a week of installation. That was an easy fix. Soon, I noticed that the dishes really dont come out very clean. The repairman came out and told me it is working right, make sure to use the best dishwasher soap. The dishes have to be practicality clean before they go in. My old Whirlpool worked much better. Ice maker keeps breaking on the refrigerator. On the third time now. Had to buy the extended warranty. Six months ago, I purchased a complete Frigidaire kitchen from Comeaux Furniture in New Orleans. Early last week, the freezer went out and the temperature rose to 77 degrees before the authorized service repairman arrived. Four days later, the refrigerator side went out also and the temperature rose to 70 degrees. The authorized service repairman said the mother board went out, and it would take a week for the new part to arrive. Its now been two weeks without a working refrigerator or freezer in my house with four kids. And the only thing Frigidaire is willing to offer me is $50 for food, and an additional six months of warranty. I lost about $500 in food and have to eat out every night because of their defective product. I believe that the proper thing to do would be to allow the dealer to pick up this defective unit and replace it with another one. This could have been done in one day instead of two plus weeks. Frigidaire or Comeaux Furniture will not stand behind their products. I would never recommend either one of them.

I bought the gallery series Refrigerator, Range, Dishwasher, Microwave on 11/18/2014. On 7/1/2015 the refrigerator (model# FGHS2655PF) quit working completely. I could not get anyone at customer until the next day and my service appointment was not until 7/6/2015 because they only have one service provider for the whole Cincinnati area. I had to leave work early to meet the repairman, only to have him say he needs to order parts and come back on 7/9/2015. Had to take off work again to meet repairman and to have him tell me he needs more parts and needs to come out again on 7/11/2015 to then tell me he cant fix it after 3 1/2 hours. The whole time that I talked to Frigidaire they did not care that I lost everything in my refrigerator (approx $200) or that I didnt have a refrigerator at all for the last 10 days. They still have to review whether they are even going to replace it. $1000 refrigerator lasted 7 1/2 months? What has happened to FRIGIDAIRE? They used to be the brand I sought out to buy.

I just want to let you know about Frigidaire products! I purchased an entire kitchen suite one year ago, the Frigidaire Professional Series. Within four months, the refrigerator broke. When the repairman came, he said he couldnt fix it, and I was issued a new refrigerator. However, since they had to get it from the original place I purchased them, I had to wait about a week for the replacement. Oh, and no, they did not replace any of my food, which I lost. They told me that is not covered! Less than a year after the purchase, the dishwasher began to leak all over my pergo floor, so I had the repairman come, which luckily, it was still under warranty. Less than one month later, on Christmas eve, when I had all of my Christmas eve dinner plates in the dishwasher ready to wash, once again, the floor flooded, leaving me with a bunch of dirty dishes, and a flooded floor. Nice, right? Its just what everyone wants to do for the holidays! I called the repairman, but I also contacted Frigidaire to see if they were going to stand behind their products, and they told me they couldnt pay for the labor, because the warranty was over by about three weeks! Really, are you kidding me? They finally agreed, after I threw a fit, that they would cover the repair of the dishwasher. I had, for 11 years previous to this, Sears Kenmore products, and never had the repairman at my house for them! I am so surprised that Electrolux would even be connected with such terrible products! I wouldnt purchase a toaster if it had Frigidaire on it! I have sent an email to their corporate office, and hopefully one of them will have the decency to call me, regarding their products.

I purchased a Frigidaire 27.86 cu ft FD REF LGH from Lowes on 10.5.14 and had it delivered to my new home on 1.28.15. Less than a year later the ice maker started dripping water on the wood floor and stopped making ice. I contacted Frigidaire who said that since it was over a year old, it was not under warranty and it would cost over $300 to repair through one of their recommended repair companies. The female customer service rep asked me if I would like to purchase an extended warranty for $500.After several back and forth calls to customer service about the situation I ended up paying $300 for a five-year extended warranty. The repair company came out, said he needed to order the part, and weeks later came out to repair the ice maker which is now doing the same thing again. The repairman said he would probably see me every year because it is a problem with these models having the ice maker in the refrigerator door instead of the freezer door. When I called Frigidaire this morning, the customer no service person was very rude and would not even allow me to speak. She kept talking over me, giving me the same repair company in my area and a warranty number for the service. When I asked her if there was any possible option to replace the refrigerator with another model, she said, No. I responded with, So, am I stuck with this high-end expensive but faulty design until I purchase another brand? She said, Yes, thats it! I do not recommend anyone to purchase any Frigidaire products. They have a serious customer service and customer relations issue, and they do not back their products. I am now still waiting for the Frigidaire authorized warranty repair service to call me back from over two hours ago. Last time I had to take off two days work for this repair. Not acceptable product.

Received a damaged refrigerator and reported the damage to the appliance store. The damage is a bent frame behind the bottom kick plate. The appliance store contacted the distributor with no results. I then contacted Frigidaire customer service and they did not stand behind their product with a repair or replacement. So far to date, our microwave since we bought these products has been serviced 3 times because the time is always running fast. Service tech has been out and changed the board with no results. It still runs fast and we keep being told the same thing. It can only be the board, yet the problem still remains. Also, we almost had a fire because the element in the oven warped and touched the bottom plate of the oven causing the plate to melt. Still with the stove, the light that shows you that the surface is hot dimly flickers all the time even though the stove has not been in use. They have been out to fix this problem as well saying a ground wire is loose, but it still does it. The built in vacuum that we purchased overheats all the time and after running it for about 5 minutes and then shutting it down, it wont start until it cools down. Had the motor replaced once already and it still doing it now. On to the latest problem, our dishwasher started leaking last night. Thought maybe just need a new door seal. Upon doing a look see, found out the water was not coming from the seal but rather from water hitting the door and coming out the bottom. After taking the dishwasher apart to see why the water was hitting the door in this fashion, I found holes in the bottom spray arm. These holes had been melted from the heater coil in the bottom of the dishwasher and the heater coil is warped in such a fashion that continued use will definitely cause a fire.

Purchased a stainless steel slide-in stove from Sears 2 years ago. It is a beautiful stove and my wife was very happy with it. She had called Frigidaire a few days after it was installed to find out what to use to clean and purchased all of the recommended cleaners. This stove was always immaculate. After about a year and a half the stainless steel control panel started peeling in a few spots making this otherwise beautiful stove look terrible. We checked our brochures and owners manuals and they all stated that it was made of stainless steel when in reality it is made of aluminum coated to look like stainless. We called Frigidaires customer service and I use that term loosely and asked them why my stainless stove is made of fake stainless and that told me it was real stainless. When I explained that mine was coated aluminum, they said they would have the technical people look into it and get back to me. They contacted me later and explained that my wife had scrubbed the outer layer of stainless steel off. What? And that for $250 they could send me a new stainless steel control panel. What? Thats right they are still trying to tell me that its stainless. Im not an attorney but this sure sounds fraudulent to me. I had good experiences in the past with Frigidaire but to misrepresent what you are selling is fraud and fortunately there are many other manufacturers to chose from.

Its been almost 2 weeks now and finally service guys coming today. However I have no hope as reading These reviews makes me think this is my first problem but not the LAST... Im so sad and disappointed... This is the worst buy I have ever made.

Purchased a brand new fridge 5 months ago. Unit stop keeping the fridge cool. Called in for a repair which did take some time to get through their stupid automated system and finally got a human to talk to. They scheduled the appt with a local repairman who came out days later... YUP it’s not bad enough you lose all your food. You have to live without a fridge for additional days. Repairman did whatever to the fridge and left. Now its 10 days later and the same issue happened. Throwing all the food out AGAIN. HUNDREDS of dollars in food spoilage for yet another repair. Had to call in again and put up with the stupid automated machine to get a human. Scheduled yet another repair and had to wait for days to arrive...but wait, the repair guy calls and says he can’t get out there and it will be additional days before he can repair the fridge. Called Frigidaire yet again and of course put up with the stupid automated system to get a human on the phone. Now scheduling another appt with another repairman for today (4 days later) waited, waited waited...8-12 goes by and nobody. I called to find out what’s what and believe it or not... the order never got placed with the repairman. On the phone for 1 hour and 15 minutes fighting with reps and managers of Frigidaire to get the fridge fixed to only get I’m sorry for the inconvenience. Got so pissed off I called the repairman who fixed it originally and is coming out tomorrow. BUYER BEWARE! A $500.00 fridge has cost me a ton of aggravation, lost a day off of work, my tenants lost 2 full fridges of food and a half day off of work and had to live out of coolers off and on for 2 weeks. FIND A BETTER PRODUCT - Frigidaire shame on you for treating your customers like this. I will never buy another product from you!

We have purchased two Frigidaire Professional ranges, and neither will work
We have purchased two Frigidaire Professional ranges, and neither will work. The part number is FPEF3081KF. Frigidaire is saying that the problem is the electrical service in this part of the US (Kansas), however, we arent having any problems with the Frigidaire Gallery, GE, Samsung, or Whirlpool appliances in this same small development. Supposedly Frigidaire is replacing one range (with what knows what), and says the other doesnt qualify because its not a manufacturing defect.I cant follow the logic there, since neither one will work. I guess Kansas must be the equivalent of a third world country and we just shouldnt expect to be able to buy appliances and actually have them work. Another Frigidaire representative says that replacement power supplies are being engineered, and they should be available in a few weeks. In the meantime, two military families are living without being able to cook. If you want logical and caring customer service, dont buy a Frigidaire. Frigidaire thinks its okay for people to wait weeks for repairs.

My issue isnt as dramatic as some Ive read, but nonetheless I am furious. I have a 5-year-old Frigidaire refrigerator and last night, I was going to clean under the crisper drawers. When I started taking it apart, I noticed the plastic frame was badly cracked. I called Frigidaire because that piece has no weight on it other than bread and other lightweight items, and should never break let alone in 5 years. They refused to do anything about it, and the discounted price they offered me was considerably more than online resellers of this part. I told them that was a ridiculous price since they are the manufacturer. Even worse, customer service said that they werent willing to replace it at no charge. They didnt seem to care. I will never buy another Frigidaire product if this is what they call customer service.

2015 we bought all new Frigidaire appliances. Very disappointed. Refrigerator back Iced up and rusted out. Frigidaires fix was to put a 1 and 1/4 thick foam on the back of the frig. Now the fridge sticks out even further from the wall, I wouldnt be able to see if it were iced over with the foam on the back, and the ice machine hasnt worked the same since the repair. Our double oven burns food on the edges. Frigidaire put one of the largest burners towards the back so that the heat from the burner melts the face of the control board. Had it replaced once already and it is melted again. Our Dishwasher wont work on all the setting. If we select Power wash, we end up with water all over the floor. We get constant power failures also. If I could give a zero rating I would. Im surprised this company hasnt been sued. Last I spoke to Frigidaire, I was told that they could help me find a service provider and that once I pot them to fix the issue, they could then offer me an extended warranty. Seriously???

I purchased a Gallery Refrigerator from Frigidaire on 11/30/14 and took delivery of the refrigerator 1/18/15 due to my home being remodeled. Upon delivery the refrigerator crisper drawer mounting brackets were broken off completely (essentially the side walls were punctured). I then called Frigidaire Customer Service and they sent a tech out who evaluated the unit and deemed it non-repairable. It is now 3/12/15 and I am still stuck with a refrigerator that is broken despite the fact that I purchased a brand new unit. In order to use any of the drawers - I have to pull them out of the refrigerator and put them on the ground to remove or add items and then put the drawer back into the refrigerator. Every week for the past 5 weeks their customer service has assured me that this should be resolved in the next 24-48 hours - but I get nothing. I am extremely upset at this point. I would not recommend anyone to purchase from this company and I could not be more dissatisfied. I am still waiting for a remedy but nobody over there seems to care despite the fact that I gave them my money. I need help!

I love my new Frigidaire range. It's simple and easy to use. The coil elements heat up quickly. The bottom element in the oven has a cover so the heat is more even and no hot spots. I love the fan in the back, it keeps oven temperature even and cooks the food more quickly. It's easy to clean and I like the digital clock and timer. It's pretty simple, pretty basic and works well!

Through Home Depot in early Oct. 2013, I bought a Frigidaire pedestal for matching washer. I am tall and my back occasionally does not allow for easy bending, so I need the height w/ my front-loading Frigidaire washer. In placing items in the pedestal drawer, I slashed my finger on a razor sharp edge. There is no warning label on this product. I went to Home Depot; their associate phoned Frigidaire right in front of me to explain the problem. I personally spoke to them on her phone. They tried to discredit me immediately, saying I did not cut myself on the drawer edge - that I must have put (my) hand between bottom of washer and top of drawer. I later tried this, and my hand cannot fit in there. I repeatedly stated that the drawer was open, and my hands were inside, filling the drawer. Frigidaires answer was to send a local repair man, and he put a piece of black electrical tape over the edge and wrote on the receipt that this is a temporary fix. Frigidaire has copy of this. A day later, the tape was dangling - there must be some residue causing tape to not adhere. Long story short, in late Dec., after many complaints by me to both parties, Home Depot delivered to me another Frigidaire pedestal. I immediately checked, and it had the same razor sharp edge. I requested the store to take it back. The Home Depot manager, Dave, was away, but I was told by store staff they were told to check it for dents and scratches and knew nothing about any sharp edge - Dave never spoke to me or called me after that, so I now will not shop there, and had spent $1,000s each month there on home renovations - they are so big, so dont care. Worse, the manager on duty, Art, called it a little rough and acted like it was no big deal. To me, it IS a big deal. After cancer surgery, I am missing lymph nodes and was told to be very careful about any cuts, because I have greater chance for infection. I told both parties this. Frigidaire does not care about product safety or customer satisfaction, just dumping inferior products into the marketplace. I spoke to one of their associates who is diabetic, so she understands about the seriousness, but they refuse to do anything to properly make my product safe or to replace it with a SAFE product. I also told them they need a hazard warning label on the product - 2nd one arrived w/ none. I spent a LOT of money for their washer (the second one I bought, since I sold my house and my buyer wanted my older one). This means nothing to Frigidaire, because they know getting a lawyer will cost more than buying a second product from their competitors, so I wasted money and lots of time and effort with them. As a retiree on a small pension, I dont have money to waste. All I wanted was a safe pedestal, and both prefer to lose my business. Frigidaire deserves to be sued for product failure.

We purchased a new double oven in fall of 2010. Within the first 6 months we noticed that the upper oven starting burning everything - even after just a few minutes. We called for service and it was found that the upper oven had warped and as a result, the entire stove was replaced as no expense to us. In September of 2013 we noticed that the racks in the lower oven were not longer safe. They had to be balanced and fell if any weight was put on them. I called for service and the tech came out to tell us that the lower oven cavity would have to be replaced. This is less than a 2 year old stove - and my 2nd problem with the ovens expanding. I contacted Fridgidaires customer service who at first were not helpful at all because it was beyond the 1 year warranty. I tried to express my concern about the safety and asked about liability if the rack fell and someone was burned...they then indicated that the oven could be repaired but it was very labor intense and as a gesture, they would pay for the parts if we paid for labor. Getting quotes of several hundreds of dollars, we decided to replace the stove with a different brand at our expense. I had contacted Fridgidaire to see if they would like the stove back to research how it can fail twice in less than 3 years but they told me to dispose of it. So after spending $1600 for a new Gallery series Double oven - I am left with trash at the curb after less than 2 years (on the replacement oven). I am disgusted and mad that Fridgidaire was so complacent about the failure of their product - not once but TWICE. And my reward was --- it is out of warranty. My prior stove was 12 years old and was never serviced and this piece of crap was serviced multiple times and replaced due to defects. And I am left with the bill... great company - avoid this company at all costs...It will leave you without nothing.

I purchased a home that had all new appliances including a Frigidaire stain
I purchased a home that had all new appliances including a Frigidaire stainless steel refrigerator (Model FFTR1821QS), manufactured in April, 2015. Within 2 weeks of moving in, on 10/23/15, the refrigerator started making a loud groaning and clunking noise and was no longer cooling. Called Frigidaire and they scheduled a service call for over a week out with one of their contracted companies. The guy came out and determined that there were 3 parts that needed to be replaced, all of which were on backorder, so they likely wouldnt be available for weeks. I called Frigidaire again to figure out some kind of resolution and get a more accurate timeline for when the parts would be in and when the repair could be completed. They were not able to give me a timeline other than one of the parts needed is expected to arrive 1 week from today.I have now been without a refrigerator for 1 week and AT MINIMUM expecting to be without for another week, most likely much longer since the other 2 parts do not have an estimated arrival date at all. The person in the parts administration department was unable to do anything further and abdicated responsibility to the customer service department. When I called Customer Service, I expressed by frustration and stated that having to wait 3-4 weeks or more without a refrigerator is completely unacceptable. After being on hold for a while, the person came back and offered me 6 months of additional extended warranty on the refrigerator which does absolutely nothing for me today. I asked for the brand new refrigerator to be replaced or to be given some kind of compensation because it was obviously a defective model if this level of problems were happening so soon.I was told that a repair and offer of additional extended warranty was all that could be done. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was connected to Danielle, corporate manager, who gave me the same lines the other person did. I asked for a replacement or some other kind of compensation again and was told that the manufacturer warranty only covers parts and labor and not replacement and that Danielle, herself, would research the parts that are needed (for the 3rd or 4th time... apparently that should give me some kind of solace that another person will do the same thing that has already been done) and will give me a call next week with an update. If the parts arent there, they arent there.Theres nothing than can be done to expedite that process. I asked to speak with her supervisor and she refused to transfer me to anyone else. It is absolutely ridiculous how little regard Frigidaire has for their customers and their experience with their products. I will never purchase a Frigidaire product and will recommend that anyone I know steer clear of them as well.
