I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator from Home Depot less than a month ago and it’s been a poor decision since date of delivery. My parents and several friends have bought Frigidaire so I felt confident in my choice however their unwillingness to back their product that is only hours old has lost them future business. The fridge was delivered with uneven doors and a squeak that sounds like an old bed frame. They sent a tech who made the doors even but they still don’t shut flush. On top of that the fridge squeaks when we close the door or even touch the fridge, it’s ridiculous!! I asked for a new refrigerator and they have the NERVE to say “the squeak is not under warranty because the tech said it’s just a cosmetic nuisance”!! REALLY??? Well I just spent $2000 on this fridge and expect it to be free of “cosmetic nuisances”! Anyway they have yet to do anything except send technicians who tell me the fridge is not broke. The one guy actually told me to demand another be sent to me. I called Home Depot where I bought it and they said they need Frigidaire cooperation or else I will have a fee. This is nuts!!! I understand things happen, I just wanted it to be resolved especially since it had just been delivered! I will never buy Frigidaire again and I intend to write a review in as many locations as I possibly can. Not to mention, I plan to spread the word like it’s my darn job!! Had they made this right I would have earned them business but now it will cost them business. They don’t seem to care either! One more note, the girl on the phone told me these aren’t made like cars and aren’t supposed to last. LOL. Well I thought it would last longer than a few hours! Very disappointed in the brand and Home Depot!! Plus, train your people not to make those irritating comments, it doesn’t help your reputation at all!

I purchased the Frigidaire stand up freezer/fridge combo when I built my house. The matching set cost me $5,000 for it. Within the first year of purchase the fridge went out and Frigidaire sent out a technician to repair. Unit should have been replaced while under warranty but they did not want to hear it. Skip forward to some time later, I paid for the extended warranty for the fridge and the icebox but was refunded my money just on the fridge because it was broken under warranty and they would not cover up as I was told but unfortunately for me the rep in customer service didnt seem to put that in the computer and only put refunded due to being broken when it wasnt. Now my unit is out and I questioned them about it. They send me with the runaround. All my appliances in my home are Frigidaire. I will be replacing everything in my house to get the name Frigidaire out of it. I am out now $500 dollars as I paid for a repair service to come look at it and replace items that were replaced before because they broke the first time and Frigidaire doesnt seem to care. Well they will care. I can promise this!!! Sincerely, a pissed off customer.

Lets just start off with, dont even bother with this company! I purchased a Frigidaire side by side refrigerator less than 4 years ago, and I have had NOTHING but problems! A week after the 1 year factory warranty was up my refrigerator stopped working, I lost all of the food in it. A week later it was finally fix, only to have it break again a month later! Then it was great for about 2 years... And THEN my freezer side broke, it literally just stopped working, first the ice maker, then the food wasnt freezing, then it was just done. LOST ALL OF MY FREEZER FOOD, AND IT WAS SO PACKED...ugh.Called to get it fixed, AND of course my extended warranty that I purchased after the factory one expired was already done. So yep...less than 4 years 3-4 different issues needing to be fixed, not ok. I called the company, of course they couldnt do anything to help me. I emailed back and forth with the company and they said they cant guarantee their products after the factory warranty is up, things cant last forever. Yeah ok... So basically Im done with this company, hopefully everyone starts to realize soon as well! A large expensive appliance should definitely last longer then theirs do.

In October 2010, I purchased several Frigidaire Kitchen Appliances. The refrigerator makes a noise from time to time like a popping sound and the ice maker stop working months ago. The Electric Coil Top Range has one front burner that gets so hot. I have to change the drip pans every few weeks as they turn purple, gold and brown. Now there is a 2 inch burn mark under the drip pan and a pile of soot was found from the burner burning too hot. I am afraid a fire will start soon and I try to use the other burners. I wont be buying Frigidaire products in the future.

I have had to call them out to adjust the doors. On the second trip I also pointed out the crisper drawers. The wheels are cracking and falling off. I was informed that those parts are not covered under my extended warranty. This was a very cheaply made refrigerator but an expensive one. It is so shoddily made. I only purchased this brand because the rest of the appliances were in the kitchen when we bought this house last year. Never again will I purchase one of their poorly manufactured refrigerator. If I want to fix it I would have to pay 187.00 I was told by the repair man. Its just over a year and half old. There are 2 people in the house over 60 so it was not abused. I have never in my 40 years have had a fridge repair. One fridge lasted over 20 years. Because it was a Whirlpool. Model Number FFHB2750TD Serial Number 4A91210068. Now I will go and post other reviews as well as file a BBB report.

We live in California and purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator to put in our newly built vacation home in Arizona. I only wished I would have looked at ALL of the reviews prior to choosing this brand. Our new home was ready 2 mos earlier than expected. We called Home Depot, where we purchased it from, to get a earlier delivery date. No problem... we scheduled it and traveled the 6 hours to spend the weekend and accept delivery of our refrigerator. The refrigerator arrived, installed and THOUGHT it was good to go. The next morning we realized the refrigerator was not cooling. We could hear it running but not cold at all. Long story (which it is) short.... we finally got someone from frigidaire to listen and they said they could not replace the broken refrigerator, they had to send someone out to try and fix it. WHAT???? we do not live in AZ it is our vacation home and we are already back in CA. The rudeness and lack of compassion was unacceptable, but nothing I could do. They scheduled a service tech to come out (yes, I had to find someone in the new neighborhood that I didnt really know to give my key to so they could let them in). The service tech said it was not repairable ... DUH. I gave them the date we were returning and they said no problem.... they will deliver then. NOPE. I received the automated call saying they would be there. Waited home all day. They did not come. I finally got hold of the delivery Manager and he said they didnt even have the refrigerator in their warehouse yet. They finally, after 6 more frantic calls from me, delivered a day later at 8:30pm!!!! The NEW refrigerator makes noise and you cant see the digital display that says water, cube, crushed ice) it does not light up. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM ELECTROLUX/FRIGIDAIRE!!!! NO customer service.... and when you finally get someone, they are rude, or at least Sharon at Frigidaire Extension ** was. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

I will never purchase another Frigidaire product for the following reasons:
I will never purchase another Frigidaire product for the following reasons: 1). After two years, the interior light switches failed, causing the lights to remain on after the doors were closed, resulting in the bulbs burning the top of refrigerator compartment. Repairman couldn’t fix them, due to the fact that there are no cool bulbs to replace with. I still have no lights in fridge. 2). The auto ice maker has no overfill shut-off, until you discover that when door is opened, the ice falls underneath the freezer, and the door won’t close until you remove spilled cubes under the freezer; accessing the spilled cubes is a nightmare, for which I now have a special homemade device for this job. 3). Now that fridge is “old” (2012 purchase), water is leaking to bottom of freezer compartment, the freezer jams if it’s not removed. Every 5-6 days, I must empty the bottom drawer of freezer, get down on hands and knees, chip away 1/2 inch of ice from freezer floor, then re-pack bottom drawer!4). Upon calling Frigidaire about the last issue, representative advised me to “purchase a new one, it’s old”, which I definitely will, however, not from this company or any of its affiliates!

Have a $3000 + refrigerator that BOTH the crisper door fronts separated and are now unusable. First drawer broke at 18 month. Second drawer broke at 20 months. Just my wife and I, no kids banging them. They are cheaply made. Called customer service. Of course was told that it is out of warranty. One year. I tried to tell the rep that according to research this is common issue for this unit and that drawers have been replaced outside warranty. Was offered to buy another drawer that will break in 18 months. Got nowhere. Told him he left me no choice than to go on social media. Asked him to hold on so I could get some paper to write his name down. He hung up on me. Was transferred to the survey which conveniently could not hear my verbal answers or receive any keypad input so I could not leave a poor rating. They are not going to address ANY needs out of warranty for known defects with their product. Good luck.

Bought it on sale so the value for what you get was fair and it does the job. LED lighting keeps the compartments well lit. At times you need to turn the breaker off to reset the ice dispenser and being a french door fridge it feels a bit awkward since we are use to a side by side.

I purchased a new Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator and had it delivered in January of 2016. I bought it through Best Buy and the delivery was an absolute nightmare. Right away there were issues. I ordered a model with black exterior and received one that was grey and was told that the model I purchased was no longer offered in black. I agreed to keep the model that had been shipped. From the beginning the unit made a lot of unusual noise. Within the first year the water and cubed ice indicator lights quit working and the ice maker would freeze up so much in the back that the auger couldn’t turn to dispense the ice. Every couple of months I would shut the ice maker off and the ice would thaw and water would run out and down the front of the refrigerator door. It seemed to function better through the warmer months of the year. In December of 2017 the ice maker stopped working altogether. I recently called a local repair company to come out and take a look at it. I was told by the repairman that the problems that I am having stem from a flaw in the design of this particular model and that Frigidaire is well aware of that. They build a moisture barrier kit to replace the design flaw in the back of the unit. This flaw causes moisture to continuously build around the water lines, the fan, and the ice maker and it freezes causing the ice build up and malfunction of the cooling fan for the ice maker. This inevitably led to the electronic panels failing. I have been quoted by him at just over 800.00 to repair all items with no guarantee that it won’t happen again. I paid nearly 2500.00 for the refrigerator with two years of use and I’m facing an 800.00 repair with no guarantee of a repeat problem. I contacted Frigidaire to ask if they would at least be willing to assist in offsetting some of the repair cost. I asked them why, knowing that a problem existed so much so to create a repair kit, did they not contact consumers to offer this repair kit before problems like mine came about? They had no good answer for me. They have offered to send me the sweat kit that they claim fixes the moisture build up but are not willing to assist me with any further parts or repairs. So, here I sit stuck with a 2500.00 two year old refrigerator that requires 800.00 in repairs with no guarantee that it won’t happen again. Quality product and customer satisfaction is clearly a thing of the past.

I love my fridge, I've had it for 25 yrs+, with only one $25.00 problem - the thermostat went bad @ 12 yrs ago. I fixed it myself. It works, and still looks like new after all these years. It's a double door white in color Frigidaire. If it broke down today, I couldn't complain. I don't know if they still make them as well as this one anymore, but it has been great. Best $1000.00 dollars ever spent.

Hi. I am a Frigidaire owner of many appliances. In August of this year I purchased a refrigerator from Lowe’s. 2 1/2 months later it stopped cooling. Frigidaire sent a repairman who after speaking with their tech department decided there was a leak in the internal hot gas loop which is located on the inside of the unit and could not be replaced so they suggested he put an external part on the back of the unit that would bypass the internal unit. I asked for a replacement refrigerator because it was a makeshift repair on a 2 month old refrigerator. I was told they would not replace it and this was the best they could do. I’m very disappointed with the way this was handled and will now look for a different brand of appliance in the future!!

First let me say that Frigidaire replaced my top mount refrigerator Freezer because it was a lemon. To sweeten the deal they sent me 2 new water filters. Water Filters last 6 months. Time has passed and it is time to change the water filter (6 months). I open the package to find the filters they sent me are the wrong ones. I call to explain that they sent the wrong filters. They explain that there is only a 90 day return policy. Why would I open an item before I needed it? Needless to say these babies are going up on eBay and I will purchase OEM filters. This is a policy they did not think out.

My wife and I recently purchased a new home, and the deal included relatively new kitchen appliances. Unfortunately, our Frigidaire refrigerator was of such bad quality, and our experience with the company was so poor, we felt obligated to document what weve encountered in hopes of informing others to avoid the brand. Our refrigerator was in reasonable shape upon moving into the house. Within 1 year of normal use by a family of 4, the plastic inside and outside the unit started showing fractures. Finally, random pieces of plastic, and then whole sections of shelves began breaking off.We called Frigidaire, who informed us the unit had been purchased by the original owner in 2010, so none of what we experienced was under warranty -- We were informed that the replacement price for a SINGLE SHELF was $60! Amazingly, they refused to cover the near-total deterioration of most of the plastic shelving in the unit under any sort of manufacturing defect agreement. Instead, wed be required to pay hundreds of dollars to replace the plastic shelves & moldings out of our own pocket. Frigidaire: The right call wouldve been to stand by your products by offering an apology and replacement shelves, if not for free, then at a reasonable price. Youve left a very bad taste in our mouths, and have certainly lost our trust and business.

We were deceived, as consumers, in purchasing a Frigidaire Professional (fridge) in June 2013. In less than 3 years of normal use, the appliance broke down. Many parts associated with the low-pressure header to the heat exchanger, as well as the heat exchanger, had to be replaced. The cost of the appliance was expensive and not of quality. The cost of repair was also expensive, close to $700 CAD since it was no longer covered by the ridiculously short 1-year warranty of the manufacturer. We are taking the battle using legal action against Electrolux as we could not get any decent level of service from them or their accredited repair company (South Shore of Montreal). Not-so-professional. Be careful!

I purchased a Frigidaire Professional Refrigerator in Aug 2015. Since then, I have had the same issue over and over again. The bottom ice maker will work once it is replaced for about a day or two then it stops. This is still going on today 01/30/2017. They have made several major repairs to the unit. Nothing has worked 100%. All the company seems to want to do is replace the bottom ice maker. It is clear that the issue isnt the ice maker. A tech just came out this past Monday and replaced the compressor in the refrigerator and he put a new ice maker in as well. After 1 day, the ice maker stopped working again. I called the Lowes warranty department and they said unless a repairman deems the unit irreparable the ice maker doesnt qualify us for a replacement. It was on factory warranty for 1 year. They also told me that those repairs do not count under the extended warranty. So it is like starting over all over again. My husband believes that they are trying to ride this out until we either give up or the warranty runs out. The current repair company has been out 6 times and 7 will be Monday 02/06/2017. Based on the information I have received from the repair company they have not gotten paid because the issue still exist. I have no control over that. I have been in constant contact with the repair company talking with them concerning this issue. I have been very cooperative and understanding. This whole issue is way out of control and the company doesnt seem to care about the customers or the products that they sell.I would never purchase another Frigidaire Product again. This one was my first. It will certainly be my last. I have been very unhappy and dissatisfied with the products performance and the customer service. I would very much like for an attorney to contact me over this issue.

Bought a Frigidaire refrigerator 6 months ago. It stopped working this past Monday. Lost all my food, contacted Sears where I bought it. They would not do anything about it. Told me to contact Frigidaire customer service. They were no help at all. Could not get anyone out to fix until 3 days later. Too late, 200 to 300 dollars worth of food that was in fridge went to the dump. They had the balls to offer me 25 dollars to help on replacing food so service tech came out on Thursday. He was very helpful, the only one had sense but didnt have part to fix so had to order part.So its going to be another 3 days for the part to arrive. They dont care whether they can help you or not. All they could say was, Thats all I can do. So anyone buying this product better think about buying any Frigidaire product because they lie about speedy service and warranty is not worth a damn. I will not purchase any more of their product. Its nothing but junk.

Model # - FRsss2323AS0 or O Serial # -4A14107574. Order number for missing parts: ** waiting on shipment since Feb 25, 2022. Where is the tracking number. My mother has been waiting on missing parts for her new fridge since January 2022. I have called a few times just to simply get the tracking number for the order shipped out I was told on February 25, 2022. They have all the details on file from the specs as to which parts are missing (deli tray 3,4,5 which is specs 48,49) and (Crisper tray 49) as well as a fridge logo. This was covered by Mykia, she told me that the order was held but never go back to me as to why it was held. I spoke with Ann who told in early Feb. She told me by Feb 25 2022 the missing parts will be shipped. I spoke to Sirena told March 14 she hung up on me and but told me she would place me on hold to go retrieve the tracking number, enter hang up a dial tone. Someone either did not do the reorder for the missing parts or the shipped is still not out yet. Either way when a customer calls if the CS rep does not know the answer as to why the order hasnt been shipped or cant even provide the tracker number for the missing parts, this only means people are slipping on the cs service skills. From January until March 14 2022 my mother is still waiting on missing parts. WHY? Can I get a order tracking number without cs reps hanging up or just the honesty of what is really going on here. Tomorrow I will call back and just request to speak with a supervisor or manager because these are simple questions that only require simple answers. WHERE IS THE TRACKING NUMBER FOR THE MISSING PARTS???

They informed me since it was reported before the expiration date that all was covered. They scheduled a repairman to come 9/15/14. Today I called to check why the repairman did not come. I was told that they would not pay since the warranty has expired, but would sell me a extended warranty for 95.00 dollars that would pay for parts only. The refrig broke while it was covered, it was reported before it expired, how can they not honor the warranty? Now they say they have no record of it being registered. The first lady I spoke to one Sept 8th found it, why cant they find it now? Frigidaire warranties are worthless. I will not have another product of theirs in my home!

Had to take off work again to meet repairman and to have him tell me he needs more parts and needs to come out again on 7/11/2015 to then tell me he cant fix it after 3 1/2 hours. The whole time that I talked to Frigidaire they did not care that I lost everything in my refrigerator (approx $200) or that I didnt have a refrigerator at all for the last 10 days. Company sent a replacement letter to dealer but still no new fridge. Live in Pa and fridge is in Maryland. It has been almost a week after letter was received. I contacted the BBB and I still have an open case so if no fridge by next week, more warnings will be issued.

I bought 4 Frigidaire appliances 3 years ago and have already had 4 service calls - 2 to fix a recurring problem with the refrigerator. The customer support is unhelpful and unsympathetic to their expensive yet cheaply made appliances. I would recommend that someone thinking about buying Frigidaire appliances reconsider and go with a different brand. I have been extremely disappointed.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANYS BRANDS! I have a Frigidaire french door refrigerator that I bought new four years ago. I did not purchase the extended warranty and during the first year, I had at least two service calls for the unit not cooling. After the warranty period, the freezer would frost over and actually had ice build up inside the drawer that required I do a manual defrost.I came home from a trip and the temp in the refrigerator was at 67 degrees but the freezer was still working. The appliance repair tech that came to evaluate the unit said that both computers on the unit were not functioning and the repair was going to be ~ $500. He ordered the computers and when he came back, he pulled out the unit to check the freon and the back of the refrigerator was rusted. Its a known issue with Frigidaire and he called them to explain the issue so I filed a ticket to see what they would do for me. The options were that they would possibly replace it or pay a reasonable amount to me based on depreciation. I was told by the rep at the call center that the refrigerator was under a do not repair order so it should be repaired. After 10 days of waiting for the company to evaluate the unit, their final offer was a 25% rebate on another model. Ive been out several hundred dollars and am going to be out another $500 for computers on a unit that they know is defective or $1300 to replace the refrigerator. Im just going to bite the bullet and repair the thing vs. buying another piece of crap Frigidaire and be out approximately $1300 with the rebate that they offered. Really not good customer service that you admit the unit is defective and issue a do not repair order but dont back up your appliances. The builder put Frigidaire in my home, Stove, Microwave, Dishwasher but I guarantee you that as they fail, it wont be Frigidaire or any GE brand that will replace them. SHAME on YOU.

I purchased my Frigidaire Professional appliances for a kitchen remodel in January of 2015. The appliances Sat in my garage (in its factory box) until our remodel was done, so we started using them in mid Feb. 2015. The refrigerator ice maker started making a slight noise around Christmas of 2015 and has progressed into a horribly loud noise in January of 2016. Today I called Frigidaire to complain, they offered to sell me an extended warranty for another $450.00... I told them No thanks. I would use a portion of the $450 to hire someone to come work on their product. You know, I dont mind paying extra for a good product. That is what I thought we had done, but Frigidaire proved me wrong today! This refrigerator cost $1800 - and I did not even get a solid year out of it before problems started. Now I find they refuse to stand behind their product. This was my first Frigidaire product and it will absolutely be my last! Thanks for nothing Frigidaire.

We bought this refrigerator and the noise of the unit is very loud. The unit works perfectly but because of its design the unit produces more noise from its compressor than any refrigerator Ive ever heard. If I knew this I would have opted for a different refrigerator. The so-called stainless steel is not stainless steel and if at any time the protective finish is compromised on inside or outside it will rust. Its not right that you can say stainless steel and the metal is not stainless steel. To prove this point you should not be able to have strong magnetic properties with stainless steel because of the lack of iron in the material and yet the so-called stainless steel does work as well as plain steel which will rust. I hope this helps other unsuspecting consumers when they meet with fraudulent marketing tactics that we all must deal with more than ever today.

I never write reviews but for this company I created an account just so I can write a review. I bought a Frigidaire appliance from Home Depot. Within 2 weeks a brand new fridge breaks. Find out there is only a 48 hour return policy. Had to spend over an hour calling Home Depot and Frigidaire to get it fixed. Had to call the repairman myself. They gave me a list of 6 repairman and only 1 actually still works for the company. Takes 3 days for them to look at it. Takes 7 days for them to order the part. Takes another week for them to come back and fix the fridge. The whole time the fridge does not work. What to do without another fridge? Had to buy another fridge since over 2 weeks. Worst company ever. Try calling their customer number and it takes forever to get through. WILL NEVER BUY A FRIGIDAIRE APPLIANCE EVER AGAIN. Model # BA63823131

We needed a fully functional, energy efficient refrigerator for a tight spot in our small house, which we bought 15 years ago. We did not want bells and whistles like an ice machine, although this fridge does have the capacity for one, door water dispenser, alarms etc. These items are just more to break, need cleaning and cause problems. We bought the 14 Frigidaire and it has been wonderful. Interior is roomy for the size, electricity use is quite reasonable. It is easy to clean and the gasket has held up well. The small size means that we need to use up leftovers, don't have food waste, and keep it neat. The price was right. Should we need to replace it, we will look at the same brand.

I purchased my product from Best Buy in 2007. I was pleased with the product for the first few months. Over a period of time, I always smelled something burning when I opened the cooler side door, like plastic; but, I was never able to locate where this was coming from. On January 31, 2012, I opened the door for about 15 minutes to clean out the product and kept smelling burning plastic. I looked up and was in awe at what I found. The (original) light bulb, that rest on the ceiling of the refrigerator (fridge), had burned right into the lining of the ceiling. At that time, I realized this is a faulty product; this product should not be in any home. I have a repair man come out and view the fridge, and he stated this shouldnt be in my home because, this could potentially cause a fire and burn my house down, leaving my family homeless!I went to http://www.frigidaire.com/contactus and filed a complaint through email; the response that I received was a standard response any company would use to not accept responsibility and place the blame on the customer, who bought the product. The response was as follows: Thank you for contacting Frigidaire. We sincerely regret you have experienced difficulties with your refrigerator. Frigidaire provides very comprehensive warranties with each product to guard against any parts that may be defective at the time of manufacture. However, we are sure you can appreciate that a point is eventually reached when the manufacturers responsibility for repairs under the initial warranty must end.Our experience has shown that an original defect in material or workmanship will develop very early in the life of the appliance. After a reasonable period of service, many factors beyond the control of the manufacturer may affect any product. The problem experienced is almost always due to the door being left open for inordinate periods of time or from replacing the bulb with a wattage too high for an appliance application. There is a liner repair kit available that an authorized Frigidaire service provider can install that will repair the damage. Please choose from among the following authorized Frigidaire service providers that serve your area: Major Brands Appliance Service, LLC / Newton, IA / 50208-3226 / (641)831-3840 Appliance Service Center / Des Moines, IA / 50315-5072 / (515)256-3090American TV Appliance Service / Madison, WI / 53713-2346 / (800)854-6659We offer extended service agreements for all customers who register their appliances with us to guard against any unusual problems that may occur outside of warranty beyond usual wear and tear. If you would like to purchase an extended warranty, you may do so after your appliance has been repaired by contacting our Extended Service Agreement Department at 1 (866) 386-5286. Thank you again for contacting Frigidaire, BoThis, is not acceptable. I requested that they repair the default or refund the amount less depreciation, so I am able to purchase a produce that would not place my family in danger. Now, I am filing this claim along with several other regulatory agencies.

I called to schedule an appointment for diagnosis, the associate immediately charged me $99 over the phone for the appointment. Later, I changed my mind and decided to buy a new fridge during Black Friday sale, so I called to cancel my appointment on 12/1/2021. 2 weeks later I didnt see refund and called to follow up. We purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator in May of this year. Because of the pandemic, I received my fridge in July. Initially the fridge worked very well. We use it in the garage only for bottled water and Gatorade. We were not planning to use it in the winter as it is not “garage ready”. Towards the end of August, we noticed a small crack in the bottom floor of the fridge. We should have taken a picture of it...lesson learned! It is now the beginning of October and the crack has started to open up with the edges of the plastic curling up and exposing insulation. The plastic surrounding the crack is now starting to bubble and looks like it may follow in cracking. I have plenty of pictures. I tried to contact Frigidaire but all I can get are recordings (“due to high customer call volume “) that direct me to a local repair shop since my fridge is only a few months old. The repair shop was very good and sent the pics of the fridge directly to Frigidaire. However, Frigidaire claims the damage is not covered and blames me for dropping something on the plastic causing the damage. As far as I know, nothing has been dropped in the fridge. Even if a plastic water bottle was dropped, I am amazed that it cause a cracked in plastic that is now deep enough to expose insulation. I also don’t understand how all of the plastic is bubbling up underneath. That is MOST DEFINITELY not caused by something being dropped. When I called to follow up on the case number given by the local shop, Frigidaire operator is a recording saying they are unable to take any calls. For a company as big as this, with products as expensive as theirs, how is this acceptable customer service?! You can’t even reach them!! Totally unacceptable and I will never be purchasing a Frigidaire product again. I will most definitely be leaving a review on my YouTube channel detailing my experience with this company.

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator 2 weeks ago. From the moment I plugged it in it started making loud sounds from the coolant pump. Ever hear whales under water? Followed by knocking sounds like somebody knocking on your door. I thought maybe a couple days would help get the coolant circulating & the sounds would diminish. They did not. After contacting Frigidaire Customer Service they informed me I could call out a repair service & if they did not find anything wrong I would be charged for the call. Since the unit does do what its supposed to what would there be to fix, sounds? So I tried to return it to the store only to be 7 days too late for returns after only 2 weeks! Bought all new Frigidaire appliances for new house in Coeur dAlene, Idaho.
Bought all new Frigidaire appliances for new house in Coeur dAlene, Idaho. Right away the refrigerator broke, making the freezer side super cold and the refrigerator side hot. Model number is FGHC2345LF. Freds Appliance (supplier we bought from) fixed it. This is a vacation home, so we are not there very much. Next time we came out, the same problem. Freds fixed it again (allegedly). This happened 3 more times, for a total of 5 repairs for the same thing, under warranty. They claim they replaced mechanical parts, electrical wiring, circuit boards, etc.Of course, as soon as the warranty expired, the same problem reoccurred and both Frigidaire and Freds Appliance told us to start paying if we wanted it fixed. Paid $583 to repair it. A year later, its broken again. Now they are saying its my fault because we dont use it enough! Seriously! They say it has electrolysis because Im not there with it. We leave the house at 55 degrees in the winter when were not there, and never over 80 in the summer. These are not extreme operating temperatures. Why doesnt the state attorney generals step in? I am going to request assistance from the Idaho BBB and State Attorney General.

Problem started under original warranty and I stupidly purchased another 2 yr contract. Waste of money.

Do not buy Frigidaire - Period. Warranty support is rigid and un-workable. My $250 de-humidifier failed after seven months, with a bad circuit board (top). To replace the unit, Frigidaire wanted me to drive out of town to a small country location to exchange the defective unit for a replacement. Frigidaire did not provide any assistance beyond that. Note: I live in a 250,000 city/county (Greenville).I repeatedly called to complain regarding the insanity and they finally gave me a special 2nd choice. I could send a certified letter (folks, this costs money, right? How is that warranty support?) with their informational requirements to Charlotte, NC. They expressed no concern regarding how to dispose of a portable unit with refrigerant (not environmentally friendly) but left it with me. I quit using profanity about two years back but this issue brings me close to NOT.Please get this - I did everything - even offered to give a credit card for a purchase/return transaction. 90% of vendors allow transactions like this. Nope - not Frigidaire. In my opinion, they just hate their customers with a happy smile. Youll hear repeatedly... our policy ad nauseam. So, readers... today, I certify that I will no longer buy anything Frigidaire, period. Will not, will not, will not. And after telling them I would be posting something truthful like this, they still didnt care.

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator on 5/31/14 (approximately 6 months ago) from Lowes. The refrigerator portion stopped cooling. I contacted the 1-800 number and I was instructed by recording to enter my zip code. I entered my zip code and was told by the same recording that they had no service providers in my area and I would have to call a 706 area code number. I dont live in the boonies. I live in Scottsdale, which is a suburb of Phoenix, AZ. I called the 706 number and had to wait on hold for 30 minutes before the call was answered. I was told that they dont have any service providers where I live (once again not in the boonies, right next to Phoenix). They would have someone call my by Monday (I called them on Wednesday) and would schedule a service call then. Who knows how long from Monday it will take them to come out. When I explained that time was of the essence due to the fact that I store insulin in my refrigerator, it was suggested that I purchase a industrial refrigerator. I suggested that Frigidaire manufacture a refrigerator that last longer than 6 months. I was then asked to take a survey. REALLY????

After about 4 months, one of the plastic shelf supports broke in half. That was replaced, free of charge. Then, when the fridge was a few weeks shy of a year old and STILL UNDER WARRANTY, one of the bins on the door broke. The plastic snapped. Frigidaire wont replace under warranty because it is considered cosmetic. I think that having a bin on the door is functional, not cosmetic. I had to purchase a new bin, wouldnt even give me free shipping. So far, they have sent me two replacements, both arrived broken. Plastic part, shipped in a cardboard box without any bubble wrap or padding at all. No wonder the parts are broken in shipping. Not sure where to go from here. It appears (according to service repair man) Frigidaire ss side by side PHSC239DSBO has a wiring harness issue. It falls into the drip pan shorting it out which could cost $300 for a circuit board if that would correct the problem. He states Frigidaire knows of the problem but refused to do a recall. My neighbor and husband rewired the harness and strapped it up so that it will not fall into the drip pan again. Presto, I have power to freezer side. I called Frigidaire for help and they referred me to the service man who in turn stated the repair was out of his league. So, I called back Frigidaire to get someone else. I have yet to hear from them again. In the meantime, we fixed it ourselves. If Frigidaire had only strapped the wiring harness up to begin with, I would not have a problem. It is possible that the harness could have blown my compressor. Luckily, this was not the case. Just a piece of plastic did the job.

Grating noises from ice maker FFHS2611LWMA. I selected this refrigerator b/c it was available to be delivered the next day. Now I know why! Nobody in their right mind should want to purchase this unit. Shortly after delivery, we experienced a racket beyond belief. It is so loud it wakes me up at night. We called an approved service technician, while under warranty. He stated this is just the unit. There is nothing to be done. Two letters to Frigidaire. Today after the 2nd letter, the rep. suggested I contact an approved service provider. I asked her why would I do this, when the provider operates under the dictates of the manufacturer. Therefore, I would incur an expense for no corrective measures whatsoever.... She further stated, this sound is standard for this unit. As for my experience, I have concluded...Frigidaire is aware of this loud and disruptive feature and continues to sell it to unsuspecting customers. The least they could do would be to put a disclaimer on the unit. PLEASED BE ADVISED THAT YOU ARE PURCHASING A BANGING, KNOCKING, ANNOYING REFRIGERATOR. THANK YOU FOR YOUR BUSINESS!!!

Dont buy Frigidaire, Electrolux, and sadly GE appliances (all one company now owned in Sweden). My Frigidaire side by side broke after less than 5 years and the only thing they will offer me after calling twice and speaking with a manager (first supervisors name was ** the second was **) both times is 50% off (not including shipping) a part needed when ordered through them after paying for a diagnostic visit of $78. After doing my research consumers should expect a fridge to last 10-15 years. This company only want to guarantee you that their $1,000-$3,000 product will last a year! After that they believe you should pay more to protect yourself from their poor quality and unreliable product as they will not stand behind and guarantee the quality.I think this is completely unacceptable and disgraceful. And the company could care less. I asked them to allow me a credit of $78 from what I would be paying the repair man quote, towards the part as I felt that would be more fair and they refused. So after paying over $1,000 for their product that failed in less than half its life expectancy they were unwilling to give me a credit of $78 with no remorse. Also while calling for service from local repair people I asked them from their experience who are the best and worst out there for refrigerators and they said best: Maytag and Whirlpool. Worst- Frigidaire/Electrolux /GE. Remember when you shop online and look at reviews- companies pay people to write great reviews but not to write bad ones. So take special note of the poor reviews. Consumer affairs has them as a 1 star company.

DO NOT BUY FROM FRIGIDAIRE. I bought this refrigerator last year about 4 months before the 1 year warranty expired. My refrigerator got a crack on the floor; Frigidaire send a company to taped, they drill a nasty hole next to the crack without my permission. For whatever reason they did they never got my authorization, then the tape came off a few days later after was applied. That’s when I saw the hole next to the crack, Frigidaire offer to send another company for a second opinion. The company came and told me was unrepairable. I call again and they said that they were sending other companies. They schedule me about 6 times holding my time for 5 hours every time. I called Frigidaire and spent minutes on the phone explain every representative the same issue. They all reschedule me, no one shows up. No one ever fix or replace my fridge. Even one of the companies they sent out told me that Frigidaire was one of the most awful companies to deal while you have an issue, they stated that is just a cosmetic problem and isn’t affecting the function of the refrigerator. Now I stuck here with this suite of appliances from Frigidaire with a hole, a crack and a tape sticking off my Refrigerator. Frigidaire refrigerator delivered Feb 2017. Electrolux is parent company. Unit carried 1-year warranty. Nov 2017 I discovered crack in inner lining (I suspect it was delivered with crack) and initiated telephone conversation with Electrolux who stated unit would be replaced under warranty but had to satisfy protocol. SEVERAL techs over several visits came to house. Electrolux found fault with each one --- one took over a month to invoice Electrolux & send report. One told Electrolux they would call me to set appointment & never did --- one neglected to be on phone with Electrolux factory tech at time of visit etc, etc. All techs that came to house confirmed, documented, & reported crack to Electrolux. Each call to Electrolux met with yet another step to accomplish until now unit is beyond warranty and Electrolux now saying I am beyond warranty and will only approve factory-approved repair which is to tape crack not replace unit.23 Feb 18 call to company that delivered refrigerator stated they would have replaced unit with new one if I was within warranty but because unit is now out of warranty there is nothing they can do even though Electrolux freely stating they have documentation that my conversations with them started well before warranty dropped. Customer Support is AWFUL. They lied to me. They dragged their feet so much that my unit is now out of warranty. Any help to have Electrolux replace this unit, as they promised from the beginning, would be appreciated. At this point - my advice: DONT BUY ONE.

Our side by side fridge and freezer is a Frigidaire Gallery and we were surprised at how little the fruit and veggie crispers are. The freezer had no water line filter, and the removal of the bottom drawer is super hard. The fridge is otherwise ample and I love how everything is easily within reach.

I bought a new Frigidaire refrigerator from a company that went out of business a few months later (H.H. Gregg). Within 6 months, we experienced multiple problems (doors would not stay shut, shelves breaking loose from brackets, icemaker malfunctioning). Called Frigidaire just prior to manufacturer warranty expiration; they scheduled a service call from a local repair shop. I stayed home from work to meet them, but they did not show up. It took over 2 weeks for them to find a different local repair shop. Missed work again to meet them; they couldnt fix it without replacement parts. 3rd service call (more missed work), discovered Frigidaire sent defective repair parts! 4th service call (more missed work), they finally gave up and said the appliance was a manufacturer defect and unrepairable. By this time, the manufacturer warranty had expired, so Frigidaire/Electrolux refused to cover the replacement cost! Same problem it took them weeks to conclude was not repairable. Their incompetence led to the delays past the warranty period. Finally offered to give me a replacement unit if I agreed to pay a $325 shipping and handling charge! Even I agreed to that, they would not guarantee that the new unit would be free of defects. Said I would have to rely on their standard limited warranty for repairs to the second unit. I refused and demanded a full refund, but they wouldnt budge. They even refused to pay the bill for the multiple service calls to try and repair the first piece of junk, until I threatened legal action. Their customer service was beyond terrible. They lied repeatedly and could not communicate within their own company. They did not care about me or my concerns. I will NEVER buy another product from that unethical company!

I purchased a French door refrigerator 8 months ago. The bottom door shelf broke off after 5 months. I ordered a new one. It took 6 weeks to get it. It arrived in a book with most of the chef in wrapped in a plastic bags. The end had broken off and was laying on top of the bag. Yes, the obviously dropped and broke the shelf in packaging and shipped the broken shelf anyway. I called to return the shelf. Their policy is that the customer has to buy a 2nd shelf, and they will credit your account for the first. Well, that was 6 weeks ago. I have not received credit for the broken shelf and the new shelf has not been shipped. I’ve made 2 attempts to find out when the shelf will be shipped, and no one seems to know. They were however able to take my money twice. I will be buying the rest of my appliances from a more reputable company.

My issue isnt as dramatic as some Ive read, but nonetheless I am furious. I have a 5-year-old Frigidaire refrigerator and last night, I was going to clean under the crisper drawers. When I started taking it apart, I noticed the plastic frame was badly cracked. I called Frigidaire because that piece has no weight on it other than bread and other lightweight items, and should never break let alone in 5 years. They refused to do anything about it, and the discounted price they offered me was considerably more than online resellers of this part. I told them that was a ridiculous price since they are the manufacturer. Even worse, customer service said that they werent willing to replace it at no charge. They didnt seem to care. I will never buy another Frigidaire product if this is what they call customer service.

I purchased a Frigidaire upright freezer in July of 2021. By the end of December, the freezer had an indicator light blinking which mean the temperature was dropping inside. I had almost $400 worth of food which was thawing and had to be thrown out. This happened New Years weekend, and I was not able to contact Frigidaire until Tuesday, January 4th, when they reopened from the holidays. They sent a technician immediately out the next day, January 5th, and he noted that 5 different components of the freezer had gone bad and needed to be replaced. He also mentioned that hed had over 20 different calls on the same freezer, which the same issues with the 5 components failing. I called back to Frigidaire on January 5, 2022, and told the representative that five components failing was not a fluke but a defect in the unit. I also noted that this model freezer was discontinued....I wonder why? The representative told me that if they were unable to order the five components within 7 to 10 business days, I could get a refund. No one contacted me and I called back on the 11th business day, which was January 20th. I spoke to both a representative and her supervisor and they told me that I would not receive a refund, but would simply have to wait until they received the backordered parts. I asked her what timeline would be reasonable, and she said she didnt know, I would just have to wait! I demanded a refund, and she refused. She said the only way I would get a refund is if the technician declared the freezer unrepairable, which, clearly they will not do. All the while, I am without a freezer, lost over $400 in food, and the 1 year warranty is ticking away. By the time the unit is repaired, I will then be out of warranty and out of luck not if, but when it breaks down again. All I was offered is $100 in food replacement. I want a refund and want this freezer declared defective.

In May 2013 I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery side by side refrigerator, model FGHC2331PF7. I recently noticed rust on the back of the unit by the ice maker. When I researched this problem I found out Frigidaire has been aware of this problem as the unit does not have sufficient insulation. I contacted customer service. After a week of emails and providing all information requested the rep led me to believe Frigidaire would be taking care of this problem and I needed to provide my available dates so a tech could diagnose and repair the appliance. Now I am being told they will not be taking care of this problem and I am on my own. BEWARE and research any Frigidaire product you purchase because even when they are aware of a problem they will not take care of it.

As a result of an inability to control freezer temperature, food in freezer
As a result of an inability to control freezer temperature, food in freezer got freezer burn and in fridge any beverages next to freezer wall got ice in them. Service company, Anderson Appliance of Pensacola, was very responsive and tried replacing all electronics to no avail. After replacing two boards and reprogramming them, they declared it a defective refrigerator and put me in contact with Frigidaire warranty. At first this was a very frustrating process as they only wanted to replace it with the replacement for that model which would not match the finish on the 3 appliances we bought at the same time while building our custom home. We expected that any replacement provided would have to match the other Frigidaire appliance we bought less than 6 months before.I wound up calling and getting another warranty representative who was sympathetic to our issue and immediately had the supervisor upgrade us to the only refrigerator with the same finish at no cost to us. Juanique and Matt ** were very helpful in quickly resolving our issue and following up to ensure that the vendor we bought the refrigerator from ordered our replacement and did not charge us for it. Although it took a long time to get the initial approval, once I found the right staff in the warranty department, our new refrigerator was delivered within a few weeks. We love the new refrigerator which holds its temperature in both compartments and are thankful that Frigidaire helped us resolve this issue to our satisfaction.

Ive owned my Frigidaire refrigerator for two years. Within that time I have had 7 repairs -- mainly to the ice maker. I finally had the ice maker disconnected as I had stopped it through the panel but the fan was still running and making wild noises. Even unplugged it is making wild noises. If this thing catches on fire, Frigidaire is going to have a huge lawsuit on their hands. By the way -- right after the last repair, the handle of the bottom freezer fell off.

Its been sitting in my kitchen unplugged for last year because it stopped cooling. When I called customer service the most unsettling thing about the whole situation is they didnt want to help me and really didnt show any concern that this refrigerator only lasted me 3 years. When I was done telling my story, the customer service rep offered nothing and asked if we are done. What happened to customer service?? I am the person who will be loyal to a company. I purchased a 26 Frigidaire fridge from Leons on Sep 26, 2012… On March 25, 2016 at 4 a.m. our power went out and we immediately smelled a terrible burning electrical odor. We searched our whole house and the only place that we could really smell it strongly was in the laundry room where I have my Frigidaire fridge. We called the fire department as the smell was so toxic and they came in with flashlights and searched our whole home. They sensed the smell was from the Frigidaire fridge that they had pulled out from the wall, however, did not see anything. They left and advised to check around once the power came back on. The power came back on at 7 am and the smell was even worse than before. The strongest smell was coming from the laundry room. My son was standing by the Frigidaire fridge when all of sudden he heard a sizzling sound and then flames radiating from the back of the fridge.I ran and unplugged the fridge, and he ran to the garage to get the fire extinguisher (thank God we had a fire extinguisher!!!). Also, thank God the firemen had pulled out the fridge away from the wall or the whole wall and baseboards would have been engulfed in flames. We managed to put out the fire and there was so much toxic smoke we called the fire department once again to make sure that the fire was out. The firemen came and aired out our home and ensure us the fire had been properly extinguished and commended my son on his fast thinking. I have since written to Frigidaire with my complaint several days ago to call me as soon as possible and to date have not heard a word from them. Is this legal or do I need to apply to small claims court and have them charged with almost burning down my home and providing an inferior dangerous product? I tremble to think had we all left to go to work and this had happened while we were not at home, I would not have a home today and our dog would be dead! This is unacceptable and I think its time after reading all of these complaints that this company is held accountable for the product that they offering to the public and to compensate clients who had the faith in purchasing their product that they were purchasing a reliable, dependable product. Does someone need to die in a fire for them to be charged or sued? I will pursue legal litigation unless I hear back from Frigidaire soon and they compensate me for not having a fridge any longer that I depend on every day and for the frightening experience me and my family had to endure!

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator model #LFHG225ITF3 in May of 2019. In December the ice maker stopped working. I replaced the filter and an external line filter and it still didnt function so I called service. A young man all of 20 years old if that showed up and looked in the freezer. He then proceeded to make a phone call and made the repair by getting instructions by whomever he was speaking to. He said, OK its fixed and left. 24 hours later still no ice. I called the repair line again and demanded a different service company. The next company showed up and again a young man got on the phone with someone. He declared that the ice maker had to be replaced. By a diagnosis over the phone. That was 2 weeks ago. I just called service again and got a complete runaround. She called the company that was supposed to order the part and replace it and got their answering machine. When I told her I could have had the part in my hand in 24 hours if I had ordered it from Amazon she just kept repeating her script over and over. I told her I want a new refrigerator if the people that they have servicing their appliances cant even replace an ice maker. I cant have one, she said, because the unit has not been deemed unrepairable. So if I dont hear back within 24 hours she will send out a third company. To waste a third day of mine waiting for them to show up and potentially not fix the unit. This game, according to the representative, could go on and on until someone can fix it. Bottom line, be very worried about getting a problem solved by Frigidaire. I have never experienced such nonsense. They are subcontracting with the worst of the worst to service your expensive purchase. Buyer beware!

I purchased a home that had all new appliances including a Frigidaire stain
I purchased a home that had all new appliances including a Frigidaire stainless steel refrigerator (Model FFTR1821QS), manufactured in April, 2015. Within 2 weeks of moving in, on 10/23/15, the refrigerator started making a loud groaning and clunking noise and was no longer cooling. Called Frigidaire and they scheduled a service call for over a week out with one of their contracted companies. The guy came out and determined that there were 3 parts that needed to be replaced, all of which were on backorder, so they likely wouldnt be available for weeks. I called Frigidaire again to figure out some kind of resolution and get a more accurate timeline for when the parts would be in and when the repair could be completed. They were not able to give me a timeline other than one of the parts needed is expected to arrive 1 week from today.I have now been without a refrigerator for 1 week and AT MINIMUM expecting to be without for another week, most likely much longer since the other 2 parts do not have an estimated arrival date at all. The person in the parts administration department was unable to do anything further and abdicated responsibility to the customer service department. When I called Customer Service, I expressed by frustration and stated that having to wait 3-4 weeks or more without a refrigerator is completely unacceptable. After being on hold for a while, the person came back and offered me 6 months of additional extended warranty on the refrigerator which does absolutely nothing for me today. I asked for the brand new refrigerator to be replaced or to be given some kind of compensation because it was obviously a defective model if this level of problems were happening so soon.I was told that a repair and offer of additional extended warranty was all that could be done. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was connected to Danielle, corporate manager, who gave me the same lines the other person did. I asked for a replacement or some other kind of compensation again and was told that the manufacturer warranty only covers parts and labor and not replacement and that Danielle, herself, would research the parts that are needed (for the 3rd or 4th time... apparently that should give me some kind of solace that another person will do the same thing that has already been done) and will give me a call next week with an update. If the parts arent there, they arent there.Theres nothing than can be done to expedite that process. I asked to speak with her supervisor and she refused to transfer me to anyone else. It is absolutely ridiculous how little regard Frigidaire has for their customers and their experience with their products. I will never purchase a Frigidaire product and will recommend that anyone I know steer clear of them as well.

After 9 months of frustration and three failed attempts to repair our fridge, Frigidaire replaced our unit with an identical unit. I had to request a supervisor multiple times, but the supervisor was understanding. Immediately when we plugged in the replacement we noticed a difference in the operation making even clearer that our initial unit was a lemon. I also complained on Electrolux and Frigidaires Facebook pages and they sent a $100 gift card to help cover food spoilage. Lowes protection plan also covered $130 for food loss. Since Frigidaire did give us a warranty replacement I updated my rating to 3 stars from 1, but since the process and experience were not what I expected from spending hard earned money we will not be buying another Frigidaire or Electrolux product.

Both have worked very well, and, yes we have had some minor repairs that I always could fix, but, overall, they just do what we expect. I think the key is to not buy all of the fancy electronics. Both of our units just have water / ice in the door, and that is all. On the 2006, other than filters, I just replaced the water control assy in the back of the unit. Part was less than 40.00. I purchased a new Frigidaire refrigerator less than 7 months ago. I spent $1200.00 at Home Depot on this fridge. My fridge started leaking and upon further investigation I found it was my freezer thawing out as the unit had faulted out and turned itself off. I called the number listed inside the fridge for service where I was told someone would need to come look at the fridge to determine what parts or service was needed. Then I was given the # of another distribution facility (not Home Depot) that serviced all of Frigidaire fridges. The soonest I could get service was 5 days out. I ask the friendly lady what in the world I was to do in the meantime as my wife had just been grocery shopping. She explained how I could fill up bags with ice to keep my groceries cool. 5 days later I was anticipating a service man at my house and when none showed up I was told Frigidaire took me off the list for the serviceman. Irate, I called Frigidaire to get some relief and was put on yet another list to be contacted in 2-3 business days once they could find another service provider.

Bought French Door fridge in July 2015 Model LFHB2741PF5A. Now out of warranty by 9 months. Started having lights go out on touch screen control then quit delivering ice. Have spent $700.00 dollars for replacing 2 control boards and ice maker motor. Lights now work on screen, ice maker still will not deliver ice even though ice is being made. Might as well be using ice trays. Frigidaire customer support response has been that even if I had the extended warranty they would only replace the parts and if it could not be repaired I would have to buy a new fridge on my own. No more Frigidaire appliances for me and please think twice and research before you buy.

Bought a refrigerator from Frigidaire, only had the product since June 5, 2019. Here it is July 26, 2019 and I find rust on the front doors of the product. I called and get told that “rust isn’t covered under warranty”, are you freaking kidding me!!!! Well, looks like I’ll never buy Frigidaire products again. By the way, since when does stainless steel rust in the first place???? Sounds like some shady BS going on..

In January/February of 2016 I bought a brand new unit from this despicable company Frigidaire. Keep in mind when I buy a refrigerator I intend for it to last at least 4 to 5 years before it starts to give problems unless there is a natural disaster. Earthquake, storm, etc... in less than 9 moths the fridge light doesnt work. I went to numerous stores to get a light bulb thinking that the light bulb in the fridge blew out. Home Depot, Lowe’s, Orchard, etc… 7 different light bulbs were purchased and tested on the fridge yet none of them worked, I went as far as going back to Lowe’s and getting the light bulb that was used in the model on the floor and tested it, that didnt work either. Later that day I called Frigidaire customer support and got the most rudest, ignorant, discussing person on the phone. While shes babbling on and on about how it is my fault and how the company she works for is sooooo great Im trying to tell her that theres no way in hell that I could have done anything to the fridge if the unit is working and cooling things. I explain to her that is a self defrost fridge and that there are only 2 people in the household. I hung up refusing to get yelled at by someone who won’t listen to anything I have to say. Around 15 min after I had hung up I went to the fridge (with my flashlight) to get some lemonade. As soon as the grub on my right pinky finger touched the fridge door handle it detached from the fridge. I sat there next to the door handle thinking to myself well this is complete madness. The light bulb doesnt work and the fridge handle is not latched correctly. This company really needs to start manufacturing decent unit. Mark my words, NEVER WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THE CRAP FRIGIDAIRE SUPPLIES TO YOU... PS. waiting for my 3rd repair guy to show up on Friday. Let’s see how that goes.

I received a defective refrigerator (loud noise, ice maker doesn’t work, doors don’t line up correctly). Was on phone 45 minutes with customer service, got disconnected twice, had to go back through voicemail, re-enter all my information. What happened to this brand?

There is nothing wrong with Frigidaire products. They make them to last. It is the consumers responsibility to take care of the product. I have all Frigidaire appliances and I havent had any issues. You have to change the water filter out in those fridges every 6 months. I have purchased extended warranties on all of my appliances just in case. These products are machine and man made. Nothing is guaranteed. When you purchase appliances we take risk. So instead of not buying the warranty, go ahead and purchase the warranty. It is only a couple of hundred dollars more and it will protect it. You wouldnt drive a car without insurance.

We have had the refrigerator for less than one year. The ice maker leaks into the refrigerator and the ice becomes one. The ice maker was replaced one time and three times it is either a new gasket or this time they used silicone to seal it. The fourth time was Saturday, April 30, 2016. He used an adhesive to complete the seal. By Sunday, May 1, 2016, it was leaking again. There is a serious flaw in this refrigerator. Please do not purchase this model refrigerator. Do not purchase Frigidaire. The last call to them was I dont open the refrigerator enough to let warm air in. Such an unprofessional company. Move on. There are so many reputable companies. I am trying to get the refrigerator replaced. CONSUMER BEWARE!

We have a brand new side-by-side refrigerator, a Frigidaire LFUS2613LEO. Within three weeks, it stopped getting cold in the refrigerator section. Now all our food is spoiling as I write this. This was purchased at Lowes. When we called Lowes, they informed us that there was only a 7-day return policy and that they could not send a repairman for two more days! So here we sit with tons of spoiled food, no fridge for two days and can’t return the piece of junk nor are we compensated for all the lost food. If it breaks down within three weeks, I can only imagine how long it will be before it breaks again. It is obviously a lemon and there is nothing we can do.

I bought my fridge at Teppermans in Windsor. The staff were hard to find and when I did they disregarded my questions and made me feel like I was bothering them because I was multi buying for a discount, I had to tell them it was on sale as they didnt recognize the sale and were trying to tell me they were not on sale until after about 3 sales people tried to find the sale on it and embarrassed me as if I was lying or trying to get it cheaper than regular price and that it was a cheaper brand, I finally proved them right and they didnt apologise, They thought they can make me pay the price on the sticker. I was so upset and wonder how many customers they do that to. My fridge had many problems and they would not fix it. Gave me a hard time so I will not shop there no more and my fridge lasted 5 yrs only.

I purchased this refrigerator new about a year and a half ago. Within the first month, the entire refrigerator had to be replaced. Since then, both the upper and lower ice makers have been replaced and worked on multiple times. The refrigerator is now out of warranty. Since the warranty ran out, the ice maker has had to be worked on twice. I have now had to purchase an extended warranty to pay for parts and labor that should be covered under warranty since the problems began right after the purchase. I should NOT have had all these problems within this short time frame since purchase. I have called Frigidaire about 8 times in 4 days, and I still have not had a repairman to my house to fix the problem. To me, this is unacceptable. I am very disappointed, and I will never purchase a Frigidaire product again. Dealing with customer service has been a waste of everyones time!

Life was good - a new home, new furniture, new appliances!!! But then Frigidaire introduces themselves into my life and the storybook tale of my dreams turns into Nightmare in the Valley! My wife and I buy a model KFHB2741PF5A stainless Frigidaire Refrigerator from their local retail outlet ($1950.00). The demon refrigerator was angry that day my friends as it decided that it would no longer produce ice! 6/13/15 Frigidaire Cust. Serv. was called and they promised to have service come on 6/16/15. Days & days pass w/ not a peep! 9/26/15 I call Frigidaire again to be told Its OK, we will send a different repair service co. to check your Frig. Well my friends, she must have heard the anger in my voice about her lack of ice production and now she begin to growl! And not the growl of a small domestic tabby who has not received her kibbles and bits on time but the guttural, rumble of feral wildcat that had been in a fight to the death with her archrival from the dairy farm next door and was now having a vet squeeze the 4 week old battle wound abbess of the yellow puss and discharge!! Yes, yes, she was very angry now and her internal fan begun to incessantly rumble, roar and hum all day and all night long! She has the consistent annoyance of Newman! Even as I pass her I cant help but to say Heeeellllooooo Neewwwmmmaaannn! (She has a name now). 10/6/2015 I know this will come as a complete surprise but still not a call, an email, smoke signal from the new service co. who was coming soon after 9/26/15. And here we are today after 32 minutes of on hold time. Now my call gets to Steph the Corporate Customer Service Manager who tells me Sorry but we just determined that there are NO service companies that will come to your home! I have officially been handed off to the Frigidaire Escalation Department after 4 months. When I asked to be transferred to the Corporate Office switchboard Steph told me Sorry, but thats not my department. So my friends, from a place of actual firsthand experience I can honestly say in good faith to you, when you see or hear the brand Frigidaire, RUN! Run as fast as you can, as far away as you can so you will not become like the story of my life. Please stay tuned for the rest of the story! It should prove interesting as to how they will assist their customer. And as far as well, you know, her. She continues to be barren of ice and to daily remind me verbally with the rumble of her fan motor the error of my Frigidaire purchase.
