What Will My Frigidaire Warranty Cover?
Frigidaire kitchen and laundry appliances generally have a one-year limited warranty. You’ll want to check the back of your owner’s manual for the specifics of the warranty on your appliance. If it was purchased recently, you should be able to find a copy of the owners’ manual at www.frigidaire.com and search for the model you purchased.
While you are not required to register your appliance in order to receive warranty coverage, registration does have added benefits. For instance, you’ll be notified of any recalls right away if you register your Frigidaire appliance.
Beyond the one-year warranty, what can you gain from the registration of your Frigidaire product?

What to know about Frigidaire product registration and warranties
For many years, Frigidaire was owned by General Motors, but they are now a part of their parent company, Electrolux, a Swedish multinational home appliance manufacturer. They are still a prominent American brand that produces the majority of their award-winning products in the US and Mexico.
If you are in the market for a Frigidaire appliance or have recently purchased one, here’s what you need to know about their warranty coverage and product registration:
• You are not required to register your home kitchen appliance(s) to receive warranty benefits.
• If you don’t complete the Frigidaire product registration within 60 days of purchase, you won’t be able to enjoy the maximum benefits included in the appliance warranty.
• Each appliance must be registered separately, even if you buy them at the same time.
• For repairs and replacements to be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, you must ensure that the appliance was appropriately installed, routinely cared for, and used as intended.
• Make sure you save all receipts and records. If you hire a professional installer or pay for routine professional maintenance, maintain a record of that. The same goes for the proof of purchase.

Frigidaire Factory Service
In some areas, Frigidaire Factory Service is available. This means you’ll get a factory-trained technician working on your appliance, with a service truck full of Frigidaire replacement parts.

Is an extended warranty on a Frigidaire product a good idea?
Extended warranties on Frigidaire products are available. You could purchase an extended warranty directly through Frigidaire, or through a third party, usually the dealer where you purchase the Frigidaire. If you buy an extended warranty through a dealer, then you’ll need to send your claim to the dealer, not the manufacturer.
Extended warranties with Frigidaire include a few options. You can choose between a one-, two-, or three-year Frigidaire Service Contract. Three-year protection for three years costs extra. Under the contract, Frigidaire covers the following (as long as all qualifications are met):
• Repairs and replacements needed on all functional parts, as well as labor costs associated with repair or replacements
• Replacements of the appliance (with comparable features) if yours can’t be fixed or if it makes more sense to replace it
• Service from factory-trained experts who know Frigidaire products
• Your money back, if you’re unsatisfied with the coverage—you may receive a complete refund of remaining services, fewer claims are paid

What Will NOT Be Covered by My Frigidaire Warranty?
A manufacturer’s warranty is great, but it only goes so far. That’s why it’s important to know what is NOT covered under a Frigidaire warranty. Here is language from a sample appliance warranty from Frigidaire, showing that coverage does not extend to these circumstances:
• Products with original serial numbers that have been removed, altered, or cannot be readily determined.
• Product that has been transferred from its original owner to another party or removed outside the USA or Canada.
• Rust on the interior or exterior of the unit.
• Products purchased “as-is” are not covered by this warranty.
• Food loss due to any refrigerator or freezer failures.
• Products used in a commercial setting.
• Service calls that do not involve malfunction or defects in materials or workmanship, or for appliances not in ordinary household use or used other than in accordance with the provided instructions.
• Service calls to correct the installation of your appliance or to instruct you how to use your appliance.
• Expenses for making the appliance accessible for servicing, such as removal of trim, cupboards, shelves, etc., which are not a part of the appliance when it is shipped from the factory.
• Service calls to repair or replace appliance light bulbs, air filters, water filters, other consumables, knobs, handles, or other cosmetic parts.
• Surcharges including, but are not limited to, any after-hour, weekend, or holiday service calls, tolls, ferry trip charges, or mileage expenses for service calls to remote areas, including the state of Alaska.
• Damages to the finish of appliance or home incurred during installation, including but not limited to floors, cabinets, walls, etc.
• Damages caused by: services performed by unauthorized service companies; use of parts other than genuine Electrolux parts or parts obtained from persons other than authorized service companies; or external causes such as abuse, misuse, inadequate power supply, accidents, fires, or acts of God.

I have a brand new Frigidaire refrigerator that isnt working properly and is still under warranty. It has been repaired THREE times with different parts. I havent been able to adequately store food for over a month. Their customer service is HORRENDOUS!!! I cant seem to get anywhere and now they have scheduled yet another visit from a technician. I have waited at home 5 times now. As soon as they fix this, I am getting rid of the refrigerator and buying another (NOT FRIGIDAIRE). Horrible product.

We are the victims of spending over 10k worth of Frigidaire appliances and learning now that this company is the worst in customer service. They dont care about their customers and you can be sure we would never recommend Frigidaire to any of our friends and family. The customer service team and leaders need to understand why customers matter to their business. From telling us that unless in fridge makes the same Noise as I recorded they cant help us, to sending us the wrong filters when they had our Model number and now wont offer to help us, to having sent over six technicians to find the source of problems, this is all unacceptable. DONT DO IT, NEVER BUY FROM FRIGIDAIRE.

My issue isnt as dramatic as some Ive read, but nonetheless I am furious. I have a 5-year-old Frigidaire refrigerator and last night, I was going to clean under the crisper drawers. When I started taking it apart, I noticed the plastic frame was badly cracked. I called Frigidaire because that piece has no weight on it other than bread and other lightweight items, and should never break let alone in 5 years. They refused to do anything about it, and the discounted price they offered me was considerably more than online resellers of this part. I told them that was a ridiculous price since they are the manufacturer. Even worse, customer service said that they werent willing to replace it at no charge. They didnt seem to care. I will never buy another Frigidaire product if this is what they call customer service.

I purchased a small wine cooler stainless steel 4 years ago. I admit I didnt get the warranty but did expect it to last more than 3 years. Its been sitting in my kitchen unplugged for last year because it stopped cooling. When I called customer service the most unsettling thing about the whole situation is they didnt want to help me and really didnt show any concern that this refrigerator only lasted me 3 years. When I was done telling my story, the customer service rep offered nothing and asked if we are done. What happened to customer service?? I am the person who will be loyal to a company. Its like I took $300 (not sure of exact price) and just threw out the window... I know life isnt fair but this is just wrong.

My land lady bought a new refrigerator from Frigidaire at Menards May of 20
My land lady bought a new refrigerator from Frigidaire at Menards May of 2013. In March of 2014, the freezer went out, lost all our freezer food. Repairman came out once to inspect the problem then several days later to fix. He said the freon was out. He put some in and it worked fine until last week, thats only 4 Months later and its the same problem!! I have been without a fridge for 7 days. Menards passed the buck and so did Frigidaire, will not replace or Give refund for lost food. Repairman came on Friday to see the problem, have to wait 4 days for them coming Out and hopefully will fix it. Will never buy a Frigidaire product!!!

I bought a Frigidaire fridge last January. It had a warped freezer door. After waiting for months with no part availability, I was extended a buyback letter. I filled it out and sent it back before the expiration date. I’ve been waiting for the refund since September and have never received it even though it is only supposed to take a few weeks to complete. I’ve made numerous phone calls, but just keep getting the runaround. In a few weeks, it will be a year that I’ve been dealing with this. It’s ridiculous and I cannot find anyone that will answer an email or help me resolve this. I had to pay more money out of pocket to have a working fridge.

Model # - FRsss2323AS0 or O Serial # -4A14107574. Order number for missing parts: ** waiting on shipment since Feb 25, 2022. Where is the tracking number. My mother has been waiting on missing parts for her new fridge since January 2022. I have called a few times just to simply get the tracking number for the order shipped out I was told on February 25, 2022. They have all the details on file from the specs as to which parts are missing (deli tray 3,4,5 which is specs 48,49) and (Crisper tray 49) as well as a fridge logo. This was covered by Mykia, she told me that the order was held but never go back to me as to why it was held. I spoke with Ann who told in early Feb. She told me by Feb 25 2022 the missing parts will be shipped. I spoke to Sirena told March 14 she hung up on me and but told me she would place me on hold to go retrieve the tracking number, enter hang up a dial tone. Someone either did not do the reorder for the missing parts or the shipped is still not out yet. Either way when a customer calls if the CS rep does not know the answer as to why the order hasnt been shipped or cant even provide the tracker number for the missing parts, this only means people are slipping on the cs service skills. From January until March 14 2022 my mother is still waiting on missing parts. WHY? Can I get a order tracking number without cs reps hanging up or just the honesty of what is really going on here. Tomorrow I will call back and just request to speak with a supervisor or manager because these are simple questions that only require simple answers. WHERE IS THE TRACKING NUMBER FOR THE MISSING PARTS???

We bought a new Frigidaire refrigerator/top freezer about 2 months ago. (Model FFTR2021QW1). The freezer shelf sags when I put as little as 2 pieces of meat on there. A sagging shelf means half the freezer space is lost. And when I tried filling my freezer like normal - with things evenly spaced - the whole thing nearly collapsed. The companys customer service rots. So far the answers we got were, and I quote: my mom has the same refrigerator (truthfully, I dont really care); so dont put anything on the shelf (really now! So why did I buy this size model refrigerator/freezer? Or maybe the shelf is just for illustrative purposes only?); and get this: its supposed to sag. (Huh? For what purpose?). Basically, after a week of runarounds, Frigidaire wiped themselves clean from the fact that there is a defect in the shelf. I am so frustrated because now I have a completely user UNfriendly freezer.

I purchased a side-by-side refrigerator with front ice dispenser on 5/15/11
I purchased a side-by-side refrigerator with front ice dispenser on 5/15/11 for approximately $1200.00.Within a few months the ice dispenser would not dispense ice. I called Frigidaire and they gave me a company to repair which were a no show thrice. I called again and they set me up with a new repair company which to date has been here four times. They have spent about $880 to fix it and replaced everything. I called Frigidaire today to complain and request a new refrigerator as this is obviously unfixable. The representative told me about 6 times they would continue to attempt to fix it and their warranty is very clear that they dont have to replace it and there is no such thing as a lemon law for refrigerators. My concern is that they will ride this out to beyond the year or not correctly repair so that when the year is up I’d be stuck with a bad dispenser. They are sending the same parts they just put on and sending the tech back for the 5th time rather than admit it is a defective fridge and replacing it because under federal law they dont have to, the representative told me several times. In one year I will have no recourse and a bad fridge.

My fridge has not worked since I purchased it in March. It is under warrant
My fridge has not worked since I purchased it in March. It is under warranty and Frigidaire keeps sending people here to look at it. As a result, we had to purchase another fridge (we didnt get another Frigidaire) in the meantime while we worked on replacing this one. The repairman deemed my fridge dead twice and it still wasnt enough for them to replace it. The repairman has been to my house about twice a month since March. As a result, they are now replacing three parts in a brand new fridge to attempt to fix it because yet again, they refuse to replace a brand new fridge even though its under warranty. I have called and left multiple messages on voicemails and have not received a callback. However, in their notes, they have that they called and left me voicemails (which is not true at all). This has been a very frustrating process. The parts to my fridge were suppose to be ordered three weeks ago and when I just called, they were not even ordered yet. Sharon, one of the corp. supervisors, was very helpful and said she would overnight them to repair company. Hopefully, this nightmare ends soon but I am not confident it will. I will never purchase another Frigidaire product again and I dont recommend buying any of their products.

I purchased a home that had all new appliances including a Frigidaire stain
I purchased a home that had all new appliances including a Frigidaire stainless steel refrigerator (Model FFTR1821QS), manufactured in April, 2015. Within 2 weeks of moving in, on 10/23/15, the refrigerator started making a loud groaning and clunking noise and was no longer cooling. Called Frigidaire and they scheduled a service call for over a week out with one of their contracted companies. The guy came out and determined that there were 3 parts that needed to be replaced, all of which were on backorder, so they likely wouldnt be available for weeks. I called Frigidaire again to figure out some kind of resolution and get a more accurate timeline for when the parts would be in and when the repair could be completed. They were not able to give me a timeline other than one of the parts needed is expected to arrive 1 week from today.I have now been without a refrigerator for 1 week and AT MINIMUM expecting to be without for another week, most likely much longer since the other 2 parts do not have an estimated arrival date at all. The person in the parts administration department was unable to do anything further and abdicated responsibility to the customer service department. When I called Customer Service, I expressed by frustration and stated that having to wait 3-4 weeks or more without a refrigerator is completely unacceptable. After being on hold for a while, the person came back and offered me 6 months of additional extended warranty on the refrigerator which does absolutely nothing for me today. I asked for the brand new refrigerator to be replaced or to be given some kind of compensation because it was obviously a defective model if this level of problems were happening so soon.I was told that a repair and offer of additional extended warranty was all that could be done. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was connected to Danielle, corporate manager, who gave me the same lines the other person did. I asked for a replacement or some other kind of compensation again and was told that the manufacturer warranty only covers parts and labor and not replacement and that Danielle, herself, would research the parts that are needed (for the 3rd or 4th time... apparently that should give me some kind of solace that another person will do the same thing that has already been done) and will give me a call next week with an update. If the parts arent there, they arent there.Theres nothing than can be done to expedite that process. I asked to speak with her supervisor and she refused to transfer me to anyone else. It is absolutely ridiculous how little regard Frigidaire has for their customers and their experience with their products. I will never purchase a Frigidaire product and will recommend that anyone I know steer clear of them as well.

After about 4 months, one of the plastic shelf supports broke in half. That was replaced, free of charge. Then, when the fridge was a few weeks shy of a year old and STILL UNDER WARRANTY, one of the bins on the door broke. The plastic snapped. Frigidaire wont replace under warranty because it is considered cosmetic. I think that having a bin on the door is functional, not cosmetic. I had to purchase a new bin, wouldnt even give me free shipping. So far, they have sent me two replacements, both arrived broken. Plastic part, shipped in a cardboard box without any bubble wrap or padding at all. No wonder the parts are broken in shipping. Not sure where to go from here. Already sick of this fridge and the horrible service. Oh, and the ice maker is so loud!!! But at least it works. So far.

Repair company refused to give me a copy of repair - things stated to me I found were not on the report cust svc states, told freezer cap was not installed at time of delivery 12mos prior, I kept a box fan going in shed where freezer is stored, lost nearly 400.00 worth of food and leakage cleanup on floor, the warranty (customer relations) spoke to both said they would not replace food, not extend warranty or replace freezer because it was in a shed. I fail to see that on any ad or paperwork at the time of purchase - nor did the repairman say anything about locale, he did state when asked that he would put it in the report that pad was not covered at installation - he did not! I feel duped if this freezer lasts less time than the over 700.00 I paid for it.

We bought this refrigerator and the noise of the unit is very loud. The unit works perfectly but because of its design the unit produces more noise from its compressor than any refrigerator Ive ever heard. If I knew this I would have opted for a different refrigerator. The so-called stainless steel is not stainless steel and if at any time the protective finish is compromised on inside or outside it will rust. Its not right that you can say stainless steel and the metal is not stainless steel. To prove this point you should not be able to have strong magnetic properties with stainless steel because of the lack of iron in the material and yet the so-called stainless steel does work as well as plain steel which will rust. I hope this helps other unsuspecting consumers when they meet with fraudulent marketing tactics that we all must deal with more than ever today.

Frigidaire Refrigerator Prof SXS - Never Again. Worst purchase ever made! This was a lemon from the get go but Frigidaire does not replace - they just continue to put on bandages. Every year since I have owned this piece of junk I have had to have it serviced at least once a year. I have paid over $600 for extended warranties thinking that eventually everything would be fixed. Boy was I wrong. Now it is leaking water (not from ice or water dispenser) but randomly down the right side of the unit even with the water spigot to the frig turned off. Two service calls later they still dont know whats wrong and in the mean time I have warped hardware floors (2nd time this frig has leaked) and no resolution. The only thing this refrigerator is good is displaying magnets. Once this years warranty runs out, this frig it out of here... and no more Frigidaire/Electrolux for me!

As a result of an inability to control freezer temperature, food in freezer
As a result of an inability to control freezer temperature, food in freezer got freezer burn and in fridge any beverages next to freezer wall got ice in them. Service company, Anderson Appliance of Pensacola, was very responsive and tried replacing all electronics to no avail. After replacing two boards and reprogramming them, they declared it a defective refrigerator and put me in contact with Frigidaire warranty. At first this was a very frustrating process as they only wanted to replace it with the replacement for that model which would not match the finish on the 3 appliances we bought at the same time while building our custom home. We expected that any replacement provided would have to match the other Frigidaire appliance we bought less than 6 months before.I wound up calling and getting another warranty representative who was sympathetic to our issue and immediately had the supervisor upgrade us to the only refrigerator with the same finish at no cost to us. Juanique and Matt ** were very helpful in quickly resolving our issue and following up to ensure that the vendor we bought the refrigerator from ordered our replacement and did not charge us for it. Although it took a long time to get the initial approval, once I found the right staff in the warranty department, our new refrigerator was delivered within a few weeks. We love the new refrigerator which holds its temperature in both compartments and are thankful that Frigidaire helped us resolve this issue to our satisfaction.

I have the Sears protection policy (thank God) but they will not replace it and say they can fix it. They havent fixed it right in 3 years; the problem is recurring and it is always with the freezer. I purchased a 26 Frigidaire fridge from Leons on Sep 26, 2012… On March 25, 2016 at 4 a.m. our power went out and we immediately smelled a terrible burning electrical odor. We searched our whole house and the only place that we could really smell it strongly was in the laundry room where I have my Frigidaire fridge. We called the fire department as the smell was so toxic and they came in with flashlights and searched our whole home. They sensed the smell was from the Frigidaire fridge that they had pulled out from the wall, however, did not see anything. They left and advised to check around once the power came back on. The power came back on at 7 am and the smell was even worse than before. The strongest smell was coming from the laundry room. My son was standing by the Frigidaire fridge when all of sudden he heard a sizzling sound and then flames radiating from the back of the fridge.I ran and unplugged the fridge, and he ran to the garage to get the fire extinguisher (thank God we had a fire extinguisher!!!). Also, thank God the firemen had pulled out the fridge away from the wall or the whole wall and baseboards would have been engulfed in flames. We managed to put out the fire and there was so much toxic smoke we called the fire department once again to make sure that the fire was out. The firemen came and aired out our home and ensure us the fire had been properly extinguished and commended my son on his fast thinking. I have since written to Frigidaire with my complaint several days ago to call me as soon as possible and to date have not heard a word from them. Is this legal or do I need to apply to small claims court and have them charged with almost burning down my home and providing an inferior dangerous product? I tremble to think had we all left to go to work and this had happened while we were not at home, I would not have a home today and our dog would be dead! This is unacceptable and I think its time after reading all of these complaints that this company is held accountable for the product that they offering to the public and to compensate clients who had the faith in purchasing their product that they were purchasing a reliable, dependable product. Does someone need to die in a fire for them to be charged or sued? I will pursue legal litigation unless I hear back from Frigidaire soon and they compensate me for not having a fridge any longer that I depend on every day and for the frightening experience me and my family had to endure!

I could not get anyone at customer until the next day and my service appointment was not until 7/6/2015 because they only have one service provider for the whole Cincinnati area. I had to leave work early to meet the repairman, only to have him say he needs to order parts and come back on 7/9/2015. Had to take off work again to meet repairman and to have him tell me he needs more parts and needs to come out again on 7/11/2015 to then tell me he cant fix it after 3 1/2 hours. The whole time that I talked to Frigidaire they did not care that I lost everything in my refrigerator (approx $200) or that I didnt have a refrigerator at all for the last 10 days. They still have to review whether they are even going to replace it. $1000 refrigerator lasted 7 1/2 months? What has happened to FRIGIDAIRE? They used to be the brand I sought out to buy.

DO NOT BUY THIS for $2000. It has broken every 2-4 months for as long as I have owned it. It is refrigerator, but the bad design AND bad craftsmanship - I am sure all of the devices they sell under this (Chinese made) name are junk. DO NOT BUY IT. Get a better Chinese/Korean one like LG or Samsung.

Life was good - a new home, new furniture, new appliances!!! But then Frigidaire introduces themselves into my life and the storybook tale of my dreams turns into Nightmare in the Valley! My wife and I buy a model KFHB2741PF5A stainless Frigidaire Refrigerator from their local retail outlet ($1950.00). The demon refrigerator was angry that day my friends as it decided that it would no longer produce ice! 6/13/15 Frigidaire Cust. Serv. was called and they promised to have service come on 6/16/15. Days & days pass w/ not a peep! 9/26/15 I call Frigidaire again to be told Its OK, we will send a different repair service co. to check your Frig. Well my friends, she must have heard the anger in my voice about her lack of ice production and now she begin to growl! And not the growl of a small domestic tabby who has not received her kibbles and bits on time but the guttural, rumble of feral wildcat that had been in a fight to the death with her archrival from the dairy farm next door and was now having a vet squeeze the 4 week old battle wound abbess of the yellow puss and discharge!! Yes, yes, she was very angry now and her internal fan begun to incessantly rumble, roar and hum all day and all night long! She has the consistent annoyance of Newman! Even as I pass her I cant help but to say Heeeellllooooo Neewwwmmmaaannn! (She has a name now). 10/6/2015 I know this will come as a complete surprise but still not a call, an email, smoke signal from the new service co. who was coming soon after 9/26/15. And here we are today after 32 minutes of on hold time. Now my call gets to Steph the Corporate Customer Service Manager who tells me Sorry but we just determined that there are NO service companies that will come to your home! I have officially been handed off to the Frigidaire Escalation Department after 4 months. When I asked to be transferred to the Corporate Office switchboard Steph told me Sorry, but thats not my department. So my friends, from a place of actual firsthand experience I can honestly say in good faith to you, when you see or hear the brand Frigidaire, RUN! Run as fast as you can, as far away as you can so you will not become like the story of my life. Please stay tuned for the rest of the story! It should prove interesting as to how they will assist their customer. And as far as well, you know, her. She continues to be barren of ice and to daily remind me verbally with the rumble of her fan motor the error of my Frigidaire purchase.

I never write reviews but for this company I created an account just so I can write a review. I bought a Frigidaire appliance from Home Depot. Within 2 weeks a brand new fridge breaks. Find out there is only a 48 hour return policy. Had to spend over an hour calling Home Depot and Frigidaire to get it fixed. Had to call the repairman myself. They gave me a list of 6 repairman and only 1 actually still works for the company. Takes 3 days for them to look at it. Takes 7 days for them to order the part. Takes another week for them to come back and fix the fridge. The whole time the fridge does not work. What to do without another fridge? Had to buy another fridge since over 2 weeks. Worst company ever. Try calling their customer number and it takes forever to get through. WILL NEVER BUY A FRIGIDAIRE APPLIANCE EVER AGAIN. Model # BA63823131

My $2,400 fridge stopped cooling after only 5 months. I had to call a 3rd party warranty service just to get ahold of Fridigaire! They were closed 2 days after Christmas and wouldnt answer the phones. After the 3rd day I was on hold for 5-10 minutes and would be hung up on due to high volume of calls. After hours of waiting I finally got through. They did send a local technician but he is at the mercy of Frigidaire sending parts. It is the control board apparently. I had to call and was on hold for 45 minutes just to get an answer on time frame. They said 3-5 business days then who knows when the installer can get to it.I tried to file a complaint or speak to a manager and the only option was a complaint that took the man 10 minutes but said there is nothing they can do now. Going on 12 days without a working fridge now. No apology from FA, and they will not answer Twitter or FB messages. They do not have an email or chat either. My advice is to call service lines before buying thousands in appliances and see how their CS is before buying. I would not have bought from FA if I had known their products are as terrible as their service.

Ever since we got this top of the line fridge new, Eve noticed that the ice maker is nearly useless. If you use ice then be prepared to constantly turn on the quick freeze option, which really doesnt help either, but at least you get some ice. Now though to make matters worse, the ice hopper has broken, the ice maker drips water out of the front door and spews water all over our floor every time we open the door. The ice turns into gigantic chunks, the width of the entire hopper, by melting together- I cant even open the door without trying to break the chunks by running the ice maker, and risking burning up the motor. So I ordered a replacement unit, but everyone must be having this issue because theres a nationwide backorder. Last time I buy this brand, it sure looks nice, but only if you dont need an ice maker.

We manage a few properties and at one point ordered a few Frigidaire refrigerators. Three of them never worked upon arrival. I was thankfully able to get two of them replaced after several calls with the distributor because frigidaire refused. It has been a year and I still cannot get the third one fixed or replaced. I have had numerous calls dropped with their customer service, countless promises to have the item fixed, and even more promises that they would bring the needed parts to fix it the next time. I will NEVER purchase one of their products again for the sheer sake of how atrocious their customer service is. I hope you should never have to call their customer service, because after waiting on hold for a minimum of 30 minutes (there is no call back option), you will likely get someone who you have to re-explain the entire scenario to, they will still not understand, and your problem will still not get resolved. At this point Im likely to just throw away this refrigerator instead of wasting more time trying to get them to fix it. I was just on the phone for over an hour, they refused to give me a manager and the call surprisingly dropped. This has happened a number of times before when I have had issues and I never received a call back. 0/10 would recommend.

I purchased a Gallery Refrigerator from Frigidaire on 11/30/14 and took delivery of the refrigerator 1/18/15 due to my home being remodeled. Upon delivery the refrigerator crisper drawer mounting brackets were broken off completely (essentially the side walls were punctured). I then called Frigidaire Customer Service and they sent a tech out who evaluated the unit and deemed it non-repairable. It is now 3/12/15 and I am still stuck with a refrigerator that is broken despite the fact that I purchased a brand new unit. In order to use any of the drawers - I have to pull them out of the refrigerator and put them on the ground to remove or add items and then put the drawer back into the refrigerator. Every week for the past 5 weeks their customer service has assured me that this should be resolved in the next 24-48 hours - but I get nothing. I am extremely upset at this point. I would not recommend anyone to purchase from this company and I could not be more dissatisfied. I am still waiting for a remedy but nobody over there seems to care despite the fact that I gave them my money. I need help!

Do not buy Frigidaire - Period. Warranty support is rigid and un-workable. My $250 de-humidifier failed after seven months, with a bad circuit board (top). To replace the unit, Frigidaire wanted me to drive out of town to a small country location to exchange the defective unit for a replacement. Frigidaire did not provide any assistance beyond that. Note: I live in a 250,000 city/county (Greenville).I repeatedly called to complain regarding the insanity and they finally gave me a special 2nd choice. I could send a certified letter (folks, this costs money, right? How is that warranty support?) with their informational requirements to Charlotte, NC. They expressed no concern regarding how to dispose of a portable unit with refrigerant (not environmentally friendly) but left it with me. I quit using profanity about two years back but this issue brings me close to NOT.Please get this - I did everything - even offered to give a credit card for a purchase/return transaction. 90% of vendors allow transactions like this. Nope - not Frigidaire. In my opinion, they just hate their customers with a happy smile. Youll hear repeatedly... our policy ad nauseam. So, readers... today, I certify that I will no longer buy anything Frigidaire, period. Will not, will not, will not. And after telling them I would be posting something truthful like this, they still didnt care.

We bought this Frigidaire model a few years ago when our old one stopped working. I like Frigidaire products, they are normally well-made and reliable and last for years. The fridge itself is performing well, I wish it didnt have glass shelves, and was a bit larger, but it was all we could afford on our budget. We have had to replace the door handle already, it has a weak point near its upper mount. While its serves us well otherwise, I only wish wed been able to purchase a more upscale model.

I bought a fridge with an ice maker in the fridge. For the first 8 months the ice maker made 120 to 150 small cubes of ice daily and worked to my satisfaction. Then the ice production dropped to about 40 to 50 cubes daily. After almost a dozen service calls the unit was replaced with a new fridge. For about 8 months the second unit worked as described in the manual making 120 to 150 small cubes in a 24 hour period. Again the ice production dropped to 30 to 40 cubes daily. This time after 3 service calls from 2 different companies I was told by Frigidaire that the unit is working properly and the ice maker is only a convenience and they have left me hanging with an ice maker that does not produce ice. The technician that came out said the ice maker temp was 28 degrees and too warm. Should be 9 degrees. Frigidaire tech support said it is working properly so I got hung out with nothing.I wrote the CEO Mr. Shaw and his assistant called me and said nothing they can do and Mr. Shaw does not even know there is an issue because he gets screened from everything. I will never purchase another Frigidaire product. A friend has the same unit with the same issue. There is a design flaw but instead of making good on it Frigidaire changed the specs and now it makes 30 to 40 ice cubes daily.

We live in California and purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator to put in our newly built vacation home in Arizona. I only wished I would have looked at ALL of the reviews prior to choosing this brand. Our new home was ready 2 mos earlier than expected. We called Home Depot, where we purchased it from, to get a earlier delivery date. No problem... we scheduled it and traveled the 6 hours to spend the weekend and accept delivery of our refrigerator. The refrigerator arrived, installed and THOUGHT it was good to go. The next morning we realized the refrigerator was not cooling. We could hear it running but not cold at all. Long story (which it is) short.... we finally got someone from frigidaire to listen and they said they could not replace the broken refrigerator, they had to send someone out to try and fix it. WHAT???? we do not live in AZ it is our vacation home and we are already back in CA. The rudeness and lack of compassion was unacceptable, but nothing I could do. They scheduled a service tech to come out (yes, I had to find someone in the new neighborhood that I didnt really know to give my key to so they could let them in). The service tech said it was not repairable ... DUH. I gave them the date we were returning and they said no problem.... they will deliver then. NOPE. I received the automated call saying they would be there. Waited home all day. They did not come. I finally got hold of the delivery Manager and he said they didnt even have the refrigerator in their warehouse yet. They finally, after 6 more frantic calls from me, delivered a day later at 8:30pm!!!! The NEW refrigerator makes noise and you cant see the digital display that says water, cube, crushed ice) it does not light up. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM ELECTROLUX/FRIGIDAIRE!!!! NO customer service.... and when you finally get someone, they are rude, or at least Sharon at Frigidaire Extension ** was. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

We were deceived, as consumers, in purchasing a Frigidaire Professional (fridge) in June 2013. In less than 3 years of normal use, the appliance broke down. Many parts associated with the low-pressure header to the heat exchanger, as well as the heat exchanger, had to be replaced. The cost of the appliance was expensive and not of quality. The cost of repair was also expensive, close to $700 CAD since it was no longer covered by the ridiculously short 1-year warranty of the manufacturer. We are taking the battle using legal action against Electrolux as we could not get any decent level of service from them or their accredited repair company (South Shore of Montreal). Not-so-professional. Be careful!

I purchased a Frigidaire Professional Refrigerator in Aug 2015. Since then, I have had the same issue over and over again. The bottom ice maker will work once it is replaced for about a day or two then it stops. This is still going on today 01/30/2017. They have made several major repairs to the unit. Nothing has worked 100%. All the company seems to want to do is replace the bottom ice maker. It is clear that the issue isnt the ice maker. A tech just came out this past Monday and replaced the compressor in the refrigerator and he put a new ice maker in as well. After 1 day, the ice maker stopped working again. I called the Lowes warranty department and they said unless a repairman deems the unit irreparable the ice maker doesnt qualify us for a replacement. It was on factory warranty for 1 year. They also told me that those repairs do not count under the extended warranty. So it is like starting over all over again. My husband believes that they are trying to ride this out until we either give up or the warranty runs out. The current repair company has been out 6 times and 7 will be Monday 02/06/2017. Based on the information I have received from the repair company they have not gotten paid because the issue still exist. I have no control over that. I have been in constant contact with the repair company talking with them concerning this issue. I have been very cooperative and understanding. This whole issue is way out of control and the company doesnt seem to care about the customers or the products that they sell.I would never purchase another Frigidaire Product again. This one was my first. It will certainly be my last. I have been very unhappy and dissatisfied with the products performance and the customer service. I would very much like for an attorney to contact me over this issue.

I have not received credit for the broken shelf and the new shelf has not been shipped. I’ve made 2 attempts to find out when the shelf will be shipped, and no one seems to know. They were however able to take my money twice. I will be buying the rest of my appliances from a more reputable company.

The last time I had someone come to fix it, he found a wrapping that was not removed from behind the coil had worked its way down and blocked the drain hole therefore the water could not run into the cup and down the drain and it was coming inside the fridge. We needed a fully functional, energy efficient refrigerator for a tight spot in our small house, which we bought 15 years ago. We did not want bells and whistles like an ice machine, although this fridge does have the capacity for one, door water dispenser, alarms etc. These items are just more to break, need cleaning and cause problems. We bought the 14 Frigidaire and it has been wonderful. Interior is roomy for the size, electricity use is quite reasonable. It is easy to clean and the gasket has held up well. The small size means that we need to use up leftovers, don't have food waste, and keep it neat. The price was right. Should we need to replace it, we will look at the same brand.

Purchased the fridge in May 2016 model # FFTR1821QW. Within a month it started making all kinds of noises. It was under warranty so Frigidaire sent someone out to look at the problem. They said it was a fan motor making the noise and replaced it. No sooner than a day later, the same noise, called again. Sent someone out, said they didnt know where the noise was coming from. Called again, sent someone else out who stated there have been several people calling in with the noises that are coming from the product and theres nothing that can be done. It sounds like someone is knocking at all hours of the day and night plus a crap-load of different sounds. Frigidaire says it normal for all these noises and they sent me a form letter of all the noises this could make. Frigidaire says all these noises are listed in the Owners Manual. DONT YOU GET THE OWNERS MANUAL WHEN YOU ACTUALLY OWN THE ITEM?Do not buy this product. The noises are loud, obnoxious knocking constantly. Every day they keep getting noisier and noisier. $500+ may not be a lot of money for a company like Frigidaire, but to its consumers its a lot of money to spend on a crappy fridge. I purchased a new Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator and had it delivered in J
I purchased a new Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator and had it delivered in January of 2016. I bought it through Best Buy and the delivery was an absolute nightmare. Right away there were issues. I ordered a model with black exterior and received one that was grey and was told that the model I purchased was no longer offered in black. I agreed to keep the model that had been shipped. From the beginning the unit made a lot of unusual noise. Within the first year the water and cubed ice indicator lights quit working and the ice maker would freeze up so much in the back that the auger couldn’t turn to dispense the ice. Every couple of months I would shut the ice maker off and the ice would thaw and water would run out and down the front of the refrigerator door. It seemed to function better through the warmer months of the year. In December of 2017 the ice maker stopped working altogether. I recently called a local repair company to come out and take a look at it. I was told by the repairman that the problems that I am having stem from a flaw in the design of this particular model and that Frigidaire is well aware of that. They build a moisture barrier kit to replace the design flaw in the back of the unit. This flaw causes moisture to continuously build around the water lines, the fan, and the ice maker and it freezes causing the ice build up and malfunction of the cooling fan for the ice maker. This inevitably led to the electronic panels failing. I have been quoted by him at just over 800.00 to repair all items with no guarantee that it won’t happen again. I paid nearly 2500.00 for the refrigerator with two years of use and I’m facing an 800.00 repair with no guarantee of a repeat problem. I contacted Frigidaire to ask if they would at least be willing to assist in offsetting some of the repair cost. I asked them why, knowing that a problem existed so much so to create a repair kit, did they not contact consumers to offer this repair kit before problems like mine came about? They had no good answer for me. They have offered to send me the sweat kit that they claim fixes the moisture build up but are not willing to assist me with any further parts or repairs. So, here I sit stuck with a 2500.00 two year old refrigerator that requires 800.00 in repairs with no guarantee that it won’t happen again. Quality product and customer satisfaction is clearly a thing of the past.

Have had issue with Frigidaire gallery, food in the top compartment freezes! After many phone calls, numerous service calls, parts replaced, their solution is to move shelves around! Wasted way too much time trying to resolve this issue. I was actually told by someone on phone at some point that things do freeze on top shelf???? Would not recommend their appliances. Problem started under original warranty and I stupidly purchased another 2 yr contract. Waste of money.

Hi. I am a Frigidaire owner of many appliances. In August of this year I purchased a refrigerator from Lowe’s. 2 1/2 months later it stopped cooling. Frigidaire sent a repairman who after speaking with their tech department decided there was a leak in the internal hot gas loop which is located on the inside of the unit and could not be replaced so they suggested he put an external part on the back of the unit that would bypass the internal unit. I asked for a replacement refrigerator because it was a makeshift repair on a 2 month old refrigerator. I was told they would not replace it and this was the best they could do. I’m very disappointed with the way this was handled and will now look for a different brand of appliance in the future!!

I was told to try all kinds of tests like unplugging the unit, wait 5 minutes, plug it in and turn the thermostat all the way up, then down, then up again, then down..... all to no avail... I purchased this refrigerator new about a year and a half ago. Within the first month, the entire refrigerator had to be replaced. Since then, both the upper and lower ice makers have been replaced and worked on multiple times. The refrigerator is now out of warranty. Since the warranty ran out, the ice maker has had to be worked on twice. I have now had to purchase an extended warranty to pay for parts and labor that should be covered under warranty since the problems began right after the purchase. I should NOT have had all these problems within this short time frame since purchase. I have called Frigidaire about 8 times in 4 days, and I still have not had a repairman to my house to fix the problem. To me, this is unacceptable. I am very disappointed, and I will never purchase a Frigidaire product again. Dealing with customer service has been a waste of everyones time!

It appears (according to service repair man) Frigidaire ss side by side PHSC239DSBO has a wiring harness issue. It falls into the drip pan shorting it out which could cost $300 for a circuit board if that would correct the problem. He states Frigidaire knows of the problem but refused to do a recall. My neighbor and husband rewired the harness and strapped it up so that it will not fall into the drip pan again. Presto, I have power to freezer side. I called Frigidaire for help and they referred me to the service man who in turn stated the repair was out of his league. So, I called back Frigidaire to get someone else. I have yet to hear from them again. In the meantime, we fixed it ourselves. If Frigidaire had only strapped the wiring harness up to begin with, I would not have a problem. It is possible that the harness could have blown my compressor. Luckily, this was not the case. Just a piece of plastic did the job.

I have to say, I am very biased. I prefer Frigidaire. We have 2 side by side units, one from 2006, and the other one is from 2017. Both have worked very well, and, yes we have had some minor repairs that I always could fix, but, overall, they just do what we expect. I think the key is to not buy all of the fancy electronics. Both of our units just have water / ice in the door, and that is all. On the 2006, other than filters, I just replaced the water control assy in the back of the unit. Part was less than 40.00. So, I guess I have had good ones. I still would buy them again.

First let me say that Frigidaire replaced my top mount refrigerator Freezer because it was a lemon. To sweeten the deal they sent me 2 new water filters. Water Filters last 6 months. Time has passed and it is time to change the water filter (6 months). I open the package to find the filters they sent me are the wrong ones. I call to explain that they sent the wrong filters. They explain that there is only a 90 day return policy. Why would I open an item before I needed it? Needless to say these babies are going up on eBay and I will purchase OEM filters. This is a policy they did not think out.

Purchased $1700+ refrigerator in March 2016. July 2016: ice maker stopped working; repaired via Frigidaire warranty; worked approximately 2 days then broke again. This has been the pattern; a noise will start, the ice maker stops working, repair person comes out in a week, fixes, works for a little while then breaks again. So far the ice maker and seals have been replaced 6 times. The thermostat has been replaced once. The seals had to be replaced again as frost was forming in my refrigerator near the ice maker. A seal in the actual ice dispenser in door had to be replaced. It has been on and on. Lowes will do nothing. Frigidaire says as long as it can be repaired, they will repair it. So I buy a new refrigerator and I dont get what I paid for. I get, instead a refrigerator that breaks on average every 1.5 months. Phone call after phone call. Lowes response is that while its under Frigidaire warranty, they (Lowes) will do nothing.

In November 2009, I purchased Frigidaire Professional Series All-Refrigerator (17 cu. ft.) $975 and Frigidaire Professional Series All-Freezer (17 cu. ft.) $1,005. These are units that are designed and capable of being built in. The units were not delivered until January 2010 (as requested). They were manufactured in December 2009. In August 2012, less than three years after manufacture, the freezer failed and could not be repaired. A freezer full of food was lost. Frigidaire no longer made the 17 cu. ft. units. Although the warranty had expired, Frigidaire gave me a $1,045 toward the purchase of the only viable alternatives, that is 19 cu. ft. units that could fit into my pre-existing cabinet hole. The two replacement units cost me $3,128.89. I paid $500 for the units to be installed as the cabinets needed to be refit. In May 2013, ten months after the replacement purchase, the refrigerator failed. A refrigerator full of food was lost. After lengthy communications, including writing a letter to Jack Truong, the CEO, and working with Kimberly**@electrolux.com (706-651-7904) a third-level customer service representative after 5-6 days after three service repair visits, Frigidaire agreed to replace the unit at no cost. I was also contacted by Rita**@electrolux.com (706-651-7011) as a result of my letter. Frigidaire will provide me with up to $150 for installation of the new refrigerator. To date, I have paid: 975 Original Refrigerator 17. cu. Ft., 1,005 Original Freezer 17 cu. ft., 3,128.99 Replacement Refrigerator and Freezer 19 cu. ft., 500 Refitting Cabinet Costs and 1,045 Frigidaire credit toward replacement purchase. Therefore, after less than four years, for two Frigidaire Professional Series appliances, which I purchased with the reasonable expectation that they would last at least ten years actually more like 15-20 years, I have paid out (after deducting the Frigidaire credit) $4.563.99 plus lost all the food in two appliances. The original units cost $1,980, so I have paid more than twice the cost to date.Frigidaire is very comfortable with this situation and believes it has been overly generous. All the exchanges were polite. I certainly would not buy another Frigidaire product. I did try to get Frigidaire to take back both units at the price I paid ten months ago so that I could purchase appliances from another company. It refused. In my view, Frigidaire should stand by its products. No one purchases such units expecting them to fail within such a short time frame, regardless of the warranty. Thats the story.

2 years ago I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator and paid 850.00. I understood it was inexpensive but it was a small apartment sized refrigerator and had no bells, no whistles and so one would assume that the price was right for what you were getting, WRONG. This fridge may as well be a polished **. Just 1 month out of warranty the control board failed, so the freezer and the fridge compartments were warm and the control board just flashed. I paid to replace the control board with a new OEM from the manufacturer board, and this part cost me 200.00 But now just yesterday 7 months later the control board stopped working again and did exactly what the original one did. We are 5 days to Christmas and me without and once again without our Frigidaire fridge. 1,050.00 invested now in a small fridge and its just a stainless steel polish on a **.

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator model #LFHG225ITF3 in May of 2019. In December the ice maker stopped working. I replaced the filter and an external line filter and it still didnt function so I called service. A young man all of 20 years old if that showed up and looked in the freezer. He then proceeded to make a phone call and made the repair by getting instructions by whomever he was speaking to. He said, OK its fixed and left. 24 hours later still no ice. I called the repair line again and demanded a different service company. The next company showed up and again a young man got on the phone with someone. He declared that the ice maker had to be replaced. By a diagnosis over the phone. That was 2 weeks ago. I just called service again and got a complete runaround. She called the company that was supposed to order the part and replace it and got their answering machine. When I told her I could have had the part in my hand in 24 hours if I had ordered it from Amazon she just kept repeating her script over and over. I told her I want a new refrigerator if the people that they have servicing their appliances cant even replace an ice maker. I cant have one, she said, because the unit has not been deemed unrepairable. So if I dont hear back within 24 hours she will send out a third company. To waste a third day of mine waiting for them to show up and potentially not fix the unit. This game, according to the representative, could go on and on until someone can fix it. Bottom line, be very worried about getting a problem solved by Frigidaire. I have never experienced such nonsense. They are subcontracting with the worst of the worst to service your expensive purchase. Buyer beware!

DO NOT BUY FROM FRIGIDAIRE. I bought this refrigerator last year about 4 months before the 1 year warranty expired. My refrigerator got a crack on the floor; Frigidaire send a company to taped, they drill a nasty hole next to the crack without my permission. For whatever reason they did they never got my authorization, then the tape came off a few days later after was applied. That’s when I saw the hole next to the crack, Frigidaire offer to send another company for a second opinion. The company came and told me was unrepairable. I call again and they said that they were sending other companies. They schedule me about 6 times holding my time for 5 hours every time. I called Frigidaire and spent minutes on the phone explain every representative the same issue. They all reschedule me, no one shows up. No one ever fix or replace my fridge. Even one of the companies they sent out told me that Frigidaire was one of the most awful companies to deal while you have an issue, they stated that is just a cosmetic problem and isn’t affecting the function of the refrigerator. Now I stuck here with this suite of appliances from Frigidaire with a hole, a crack and a tape sticking off my Refrigerator. If I ever knew this I WILL NEVER BUY FROM FRIGIDAIRE AND OF COURSE I WILL NEVER BUY AGAIN.

I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator from Home Depot less than a month ago and it’s been a poor decision since date of delivery. My parents and several friends have bought Frigidaire so I felt confident in my choice however their unwillingness to back their product that is only hours old has lost them future business. The fridge was delivered with uneven doors and a squeak that sounds like an old bed frame. They sent a tech who made the doors even but they still don’t shut flush. On top of that the fridge squeaks when we close the door or even touch the fridge, it’s ridiculous!! I asked for a new refrigerator and they have the NERVE to say “the squeak is not under warranty because the tech said it’s just a cosmetic nuisance”!! REALLY??? Well I just spent $2000 on this fridge and expect it to be free of “cosmetic nuisances”! Anyway they have yet to do anything except send technicians who tell me the fridge is not broke. The one guy actually told me to demand another be sent to me. I called Home Depot where I bought it and they said they need Frigidaire cooperation or else I will have a fee. This is nuts!!! I understand things happen, I just wanted it to be resolved especially since it had just been delivered! I will never buy Frigidaire again and I intend to write a review in as many locations as I possibly can. Not to mention, I plan to spread the word like it’s my darn job!! Had they made this right I would have earned them business but now it will cost them business. They don’t seem to care either! One more note, the girl on the phone told me these aren’t made like cars and aren’t supposed to last. LOL. Well I thought it would last longer than a few hours! Very disappointed in the brand and Home Depot!! Plus, train your people not to make those irritating comments, it doesn’t help your reputation at all!

I just bought a fridge on Black Friday that was delivered to my house the Friday after. After the installation, I noticed the fridge beeping, but I thought that it was due to the fact that it hasnt reached the ideal temperature. During the weekend the fridge didnt stop beeping, even though it reached the temperature. We tried different things that we found on the internet, but nothing worked. On Monday I decided to contact the customer service, and they told me to turn the breaker off and on again. At the time that they ended my call, the fridge wasnt beeping just yet. As soon as I hang up the beep starts again. I proceed to call the customer service once again and let the representative know all the previous details and she puts me on hold for a brief moment. She then proceeds to give me the number of different companies around me that could service my brand new fridge. When I ask her for the procedure and if it was cover by the manufacturers warranty, she proceeds to tell me that this was not a functioning issue and that the service should be paid by me. I have gone to hundreds of internet pages looking for a solution to my problem, but instead, I found tons of people with my same fridge having the same issue as me. Frigidaire sells faulty products that they dont even back up. Please dont make the same mistake I did. Purchase another brand. Bought a Frigidaire refrigerator 6 months ago. It stopped working this past Monday. Lost all my food, contacted Sears where I bought it. They would not do anything about it. Told me to contact Frigidaire customer service. They were no help at all. Could not get anyone out to fix until 3 days later. Too late, 200 to 300 dollars worth of food that was in fridge went to the dump. They had the balls to offer me 25 dollars to help on replacing food so service tech came out on Thursday. He was very helpful, the only one had sense but didnt have part to fix so had to order part.So its going to be another 3 days for the part to arrive. They dont care whether they can help you or not. Frigidaire refrigerator delivered Feb 2017. Electrolux is parent company. Unit carried 1-year warranty. Nov 2017 I discovered crack in inner lining (I suspect it was delivered with crack) and initiated telephone conversation with Electrolux who stated unit would be replaced under warranty but had to satisfy protocol. SEVERAL techs over several visits came to house. Electrolux found fault with each one --- one took over a month to invoice Electrolux & send report. One told Electrolux they would call me to set appointment & never did --- one neglected to be on phone with Electrolux factory tech at time of visit etc, etc. All techs that came to house confirmed, documented, & reported crack to Electrolux. Each call to Electrolux met with yet another step to accomplish until now unit is beyond warranty and Electrolux now saying I am beyond warranty and will only approve factory-approved repair which is to tape crack not replace unit.23 Feb 18 call to company that delivered refrigerator stated they would have replaced unit with new one if I was within warranty but because unit is now out of warranty there is nothing they can do even though Electrolux freely stating they have documentation that my conversations with them started well before warranty dropped. Customer Support is AWFUL. They lied to me. They dragged their feet so much that my unit is now out of warranty. Any help to have Electrolux replace this unit, as they promised from the beginning, would be appreciated. At this point - my advice: DONT BUY ONE.

Less than 1 year and same issue and repair, cost $405. Now again same issue. Service Tech ordered new boards installed. No power. Ordered next set no display but it had power again. Bad board. Service Tech called Frigidaire service tech and was told 9 out of 10 of the boards we have at distribution points are no good. Now I have been out of a working refrigerator for 1 month. May not be able to get another computer board for at least week since there are none in close supply. If it is able to be repaired it will be another $400. The staff were hard to find and when I did they disregarded my questions and made me feel like I was bothering them because I was multi buying for a discount, I had to tell them it was on sale as they didnt recognize the sale and were trying to tell me they were not on sale until after about 3 sales people tried to find the sale on it and embarrassed me as if I was lying or trying to get it cheaper than regular price and that it was a cheaper brand, I finally proved them right and they didnt apologise, They thought they can make me pay the price on the sticker. I was so upset and wonder how many customers they do that to. My fridge had many problems and they would not fix it. Gave me a hard time so I will not shop there no more and my fridge lasted 5 yrs only.

So, when my old fridge died, I went to Lowes and found my Frigidaire side by side. I love it! The adjustable shelves in the freezer really help with odd sized objects. The basket in the freezer is great for all my frozen veggies too! And did you know that two of the shelves in the fridge side pull out so you can reach the items in the back more easily. The glass shelves always look so nice and clean and the inset shelves in both doors can be moved too! The built in water and ice maker is a lifesaver when you need a drink! Crushed ice from the dispenser makes a soda the perfect temperature. The Frigidaire Gallery is a really great bargain at only $1100. This should be your next Fridge!

Received a damaged refrigerator and reported the damage to the appliance store. The damage is a bent frame behind the bottom kick plate. The appliance store contacted the distributor with no results. I then contacted Frigidaire customer service and they did not stand behind their product with a repair or replacement. Their response was that their warranty only covered manufacturing issues and that a damaged frame (bent) was not a manufacturing defect. They pointed the finger at the appliance store and/or the distributor and left me to resolve the issue. In addition to the bent frame, this is the noisiest refrigerator I have ever owned!.

My upright freezer was delivered in May 2020. By June the frost-free freezer was forming ice near the door. Took Frigidaire 2 months to mail me a replacement gasket. Before the part arrived the door wouldnt stay shut. Had to put a ratchet strap around it to keep it closed. Gasket arrived and it doesnt fit in the door so falls off immediately. Now the freezer is constantly running trying to stay cool. The contents are melting. Frigidaire is horrible. I tried calling multiple times on Friday but their help desk literally didnt answer, had a message that said they were too busy and it hung up on me. Repeatedly. I emailed them, no response. Called again, sat on hold forever. Their customer service is awful. They wont refund or replace the freezer. They wont refund the $700 of food that is now ruined. I will never buy Frigidaire again. HORRIBLE COMPANY. HORRIBLE PRODUCT. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. HORRIBLE!!!

Dont buy Frigidaire, Electrolux, and sadly GE appliances (all one company now owned in Sweden). My Frigidaire side by side broke after less than 5 years and the only thing they will offer me after calling twice and speaking with a manager (first supervisors name was ** the second was **) both times is 50% off (not including shipping) a part needed when ordered through them after paying for a diagnostic visit of $78. After doing my research consumers should expect a fridge to last 10-15 years. This company only want to guarantee you that their $1,000-$3,000 product will last a year! After that they believe you should pay more to protect yourself from their poor quality and unreliable product as they will not stand behind and guarantee the quality.I think this is completely unacceptable and disgraceful. And the company could care less. I asked them to allow me a credit of $78 from what I would be paying the repair man quote, towards the part as I felt that would be more fair and they refused. So after paying over $1,000 for their product that failed in less than half its life expectancy they were unwilling to give me a credit of $78 with no remorse. Also while calling for service from local repair people I asked them from their experience who are the best and worst out there for refrigerators and they said best: Maytag and Whirlpool. Worst- Frigidaire/Electrolux /GE. Remember when you shop online and look at reviews- companies pay people to write great reviews but not to write bad ones. So take special note of the poor reviews. Consumer affairs has them as a 1 star company.

The Frigidaire Refrigerator we purchased started developing extreme frost in the freezer from the day we purchased it. The Frigidaire Warranty Program sent 6 different repair guys out to change the freezer seal, heat up the freezer seal and reapply it, adjust the freezer door, adjust the hinges, replace the fan motor, still extreme frost from some type of air leak in the unit. They will not replace it. Theyve spent way more in parts and service than a new refrigerator would cost. The Corporate Manager who was supposed to call me back to advise on the refund of the warranty has not called back. If you get a refrigerator get the Lowes PROTECTION PLAN. LOWES has resolved this problem when Frigidaire would not. This company does not take care of its customers.

Our side by side fridge and freezer is a Frigidaire Gallery and we were surprised at how little the fruit and veggie crispers are. The freezer had no water line filter, and the removal of the bottom drawer is super hard. The fridge is otherwise ample and I love how everything is easily within reach.

I’m posting my review to warn others. Frigidaire refused to post my review bc it may steer customers “away”. Ridiculous. My husband and I saved up for 10 years to do our kitchen remodel. We used the Frigidaire Pro Line for all of our appliances. I have never been more disappointed with a refrigerator. I chose this model because of the smudge proof finish. This is biggest mistake we made for our entire renovation! This fridge accepts magnets and so naturally we excitedly hung up our children’s artwork. In less than two weeks (after removing the artwork to dust the fridge face) I discovered that the ENTIRE front of it was scratched with fine scratches from the magnets. I am just sick over this! Nowhere in the manual does it say NOT to use magnets on the surface. Since it accepted magnets in the first place, we assumed that was considered normal and acceptable use of the fridge. The magnets I used were brand new and not rough! The surface of this unit is ridiculously easy to scratch! Had I have known this fact, I would have NEVER chosen this fridge. It was a giant purchase for us and now I have to live with it ugly and ruined. Also, I’m now embarrassed to show people my new kitchen because of it. My kitchen looks like “new kitchen, but old fridge”. The worst part for me is I didn’t even get to enjoy having what I thought would be the refrigerator of my dreams. It was ruined before I even got a chance to enjoy it. And now I can’t even enjoy my kitchen remodel that we waited years for, YEARS!Please do not waste your money like we did. Buy a regular stainless steel refrigerator instead and just get used to wiping off fingerprints, because at least they come off! My previous regular stainless steel fridge was over 10 years old and barely had a scratch on it. In comparison this expensive “pro” fridge can’t even operate in the simplest of function, to hold up a calendar and children’s artwork on the front of it, without becoming damaged.

I purchased my Frigidaire Professional appliances for a kitchen remodel in January of 2015. The appliances Sat in my garage (in its factory box) until our remodel was done, so we started using them in mid Feb. 2015. The refrigerator ice maker started making a slight noise around Christmas of 2015 and has progressed into a horribly loud noise in January of 2016. Today I called Frigidaire to complain, they offered to sell me an extended warranty for another $450.00... I told them No thanks. I would use a portion of the $450 to hire someone to come work on their product. You know, I dont mind paying extra for a good product. That is what I thought we had done, but Frigidaire proved me wrong today! This refrigerator cost $1800 - and I did not even get a solid year out of it before problems started. Now I find they refuse to stand behind their product. This was my first Frigidaire product and it will absolutely be my last! Thanks for nothing Frigidaire.

Frigidaire only has a one year manufacturer warranty... they dont make items last very much longer. I purchased the refrigerator in Oct. 2016 and 3 years, 4 months later, the compressor went out. Seems like newer items arent made to last. Very sad how we have become a single use society with companies like this that charge too much for such little quality.

In May 2013 I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery side by side refrigerator, model FGHC2331PF7. I recently noticed rust on the back of the unit by the ice maker. When I researched this problem I found out Frigidaire has been aware of this problem as the unit does not have sufficient insulation. I contacted customer service. After a week of emails and providing all information requested the rep led me to believe Frigidaire would be taking care of this problem and I needed to provide my available dates so a tech could diagnose and repair the appliance. Now I am being told they will not be taking care of this problem and I am on my own. BEWARE and research any Frigidaire product you purchase because even when they are aware of a problem they will not take care of it.

Ive owned my Frigidaire refrigerator for two years. Within that time I have had 7 repairs -- mainly to the ice maker. I finally had the ice maker disconnected as I had stopped it through the panel but the fan was still running and making wild noises. Even unplugged it is making wild noises. If this thing catches on fire, Frigidaire is going to have a huge lawsuit on their hands. By the way -- right after the last repair, the handle of the bottom freezer fell off.

I purchased my product from Best Buy in 2007. I was pleased with the product for the first few months. Over a period of time, I always smelled something burning when I opened the cooler side door, like plastic; but, I was never able to locate where this was coming from. On January 31, 2012, I opened the door for about 15 minutes to clean out the product and kept smelling burning plastic. I looked up and was in awe at what I found. The (original) light bulb, that rest on the ceiling of the refrigerator (fridge), had burned right into the lining of the ceiling. At that time, I realized this is a faulty product; this product should not be in any home. I have a repair man come out and view the fridge, and he stated this shouldnt be in my home because, this could potentially cause a fire and burn my house down, leaving my family homeless!I went to http://www.frigidaire.com/contactus and filed a complaint through email; the response that I received was a standard response any company would use to not accept responsibility and place the blame on the customer, who bought the product. The response was as follows: Thank you for contacting Frigidaire. We sincerely regret you have experienced difficulties with your refrigerator. Frigidaire provides very comprehensive warranties with each product to guard against any parts that may be defective at the time of manufacture. However, we are sure you can appreciate that a point is eventually reached when the manufacturers responsibility for repairs under the initial warranty must end.Our experience has shown that an original defect in material or workmanship will develop very early in the life of the appliance. After a reasonable period of service, many factors beyond the control of the manufacturer may affect any product. The problem experienced is almost always due to the door being left open for inordinate periods of time or from replacing the bulb with a wattage too high for an appliance application. There is a liner repair kit available that an authorized Frigidaire service provider can install that will repair the damage. Please choose from among the following authorized Frigidaire service providers that serve your area: Major Brands Appliance Service, LLC / Newton, IA / 50208-3226 / (641)831-3840 Appliance Service Center / Des Moines, IA / 50315-5072 / (515)256-3090American TV Appliance Service / Madison, WI / 53713-2346 / (800)854-6659We offer extended service agreements for all customers who register their appliances with us to guard against any unusual problems that may occur outside of warranty beyond usual wear and tear. If you would like to purchase an extended warranty, you may do so after your appliance has been repaired by contacting our Extended Service Agreement Department at 1 (866) 386-5286. Thank you again for contacting Frigidaire, BoThis, is not acceptable. I requested that they repair the default or refund the amount less depreciation, so I am able to purchase a produce that would not place my family in danger. Now, I am filing this claim along with several other regulatory agencies.

We bought a Frigidaire Gallery French door refrigerator for our new house in 2012. A few months ago the ice maker stopped working so we pulled it out from the wall and there was a huge ball of ice on the back which had frozen the water lines to the ice maker. Good thing we found it as it had corroded a huge spot on the back and was starting to drip on the floor. I got a repairman out right away who said it was a well-known defect with this model. Frigidaire told me they would fix it if I had a factory authorized repairman out. So I called for another repairman to come out (factory authorized) and he confirmed the defect and called Frigidaire to send out the fix kit. In the time it took (a few weeks) to get the other repairman out, Frigidaire stopped fixing these. So I incurred another service charge for the second repairman for no reason. Frigidaires fix was to offer me a 10% discount on another one of their refrigerators. Why would I ever want another one of their products in my kitchen? This defect had been known for years - the least they could have done is notify customers so we could minimize damage and get our appliances repaired. Now there is no longer a way to repair this and we have to buy a new one. Defective product, very poor service.
