I purchased this refrigerator in September 2016. The plastic lining, the doors have all cracked due to the cold temperatures. The plastic started cracking within a year of purchase. I previously had a GE for 15 years and never had any problems. This new fridge has plastic pieces hanging off of them and is visibly horrible. I purchased the warranty and they say it is cosmetic so they will not cover. I have called Frigidaire and they want me to purchase new doors. When I asked to escalate they provided me a P.O Box to write a letter in hopes that I would not bother.I cannot believe that I spent so much money on a horrible product that is cheaply made. We have 4 adults living in our home and expect our fridge to last more than a year. I have a claim currently for my ice maker because it jams, stops working and then drips all along the front side of my fridge. Lets see how that goes. I am writing a letter and I will provide an update if they even respond. DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE! They make cheap faulty products and their warranty and service sucks.

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator in Oct 14 for my man cave. The reason was for the ice. The ice maker has frozen up on me 3 times, April 15 (under warranty), April 16 and the last time December 16. I paid to have it repaired in April 16. So after the third time I thought I would try the factory again, yea right. Was just told that it is not unusual for this to happen and as far as they were concerned, the product is out of warranty. We have a GE Profile at the house that is approximately 9 years old and have never had a problem. I need the ice so I think I will go get another GE refrigerator and set this one on the curb with a FREE sign on it. I will also start telling everyone I know or dont know, as I walk down the aisle at Lowes, that you really dont want to be purchasing this product because if you read the other reviews, Frigidaire should be recalling this model of refrigerator.

We bought a new home in 09/13, we upgraded our appliance package to the tune of 1800.00 dollars above the amount allotted by the builder. We had nothing but problems with the appliances. Dishwasher, stove, and now the fridge. Yes I understand they are just over 5yrs old. But when we bought the appliances we made sure of the warranties on the units. typical warranty 1yr complete, 5yr compressor. Weve had to have the fridge serviced a couple times over the years, and Frigidaire {Electrolux} has been aware that there was a problem with the compressor. So fast forward a couple months, now the unit is completely off warranty. Low and behold they will not warranty the compressor. Sorry of which they have changed their warranties to now only be 1 yr for the complete fridges, no compressor warranties beyond the year. But they would gladly sell me a NEW compressor to the cost of 495.00 canadian, shipped. But I must have a Frigidaire approved installer put it in at the cost of 695.00, bringing the total repair to 1100.00 Well we decided to just scrap the fridge since the repair is so costly, and no guarantee it would last. So why not just buy a new Fridge from another manufacturer. Oh ya did I mention Samsung, Dayco and numerous other manufacturers have increased the warranty periods on their refrigerators. The last time I ever buy a Frigidaire or Electrolux product ever. Also I will make sure as many people know as possible that they do not stand behind their product.

Six months ago, I purchased a complete Frigidaire kitchen from Comeaux Furniture in New Orleans. Early last week, the freezer went out and the temperature rose to 77 degrees before the authorized service repairman arrived. Four days later, the refrigerator side went out also and the temperature rose to 70 degrees. The authorized service repairman said the mother board went out, and it would take a week for the new part to arrive. Its now been two weeks without a working refrigerator or freezer in my house with four kids. And the only thing Frigidaire is willing to offer me is $50 for food, and an additional six months of warranty. I lost about $500 in food and have to eat out every night because of their defective product. I believe that the proper thing to do would be to allow the dealer to pick up this defective unit and replace it with another one. This could have been done in one day instead of two plus weeks. Frigidaire or Comeaux Furniture will not stand behind their products. I would never recommend either one of them.

When the original light bulb in the refrigerated section of my Frigidaire side-by-side burnt out, I really didnt think it was so unusual. Ill just purchase a new bulb and replace it. This should be simple. Well, not so simple. Upon attempting to remove the bulb, it would not turn. I was afraid to apply excessive force since I didnt want to break it off in the socket. I couldnt understand why I was having so much difficulty removing a light bulb. So I poked my head in the refrigerator to get a closer look. I was amazed and concerned at what I saw. The bulb had burned the plastic lining above it. The bulb was stuck to the top of the liner. After several more attempts to remove the bulb, I finally succeeded. There is a considerable amount of damage to the liner, including a small hole in the middle of the egg size crater that was created by the hot light bulb. Im not only concerned that this has compromised the cooling capacity of my refrigerator. But that it could be a potential fire hazard. Still, I continue, with increasing doubt, to replace light bulbs with increasing frequency. I just installed the fourth bulb. Please help! Am I and my family in any immediate danger from this defective product?

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator on 5/31/14 (approximately 6 months ago) from Lowes. The refrigerator portion stopped cooling. I contacted the 1-800 number and I was instructed by recording to enter my zip code. I entered my zip code and was told by the same recording that they had no service providers in my area and I would have to call a 706 area code number. I dont live in the boonies. I live in Scottsdale, which is a suburb of Phoenix, AZ. I called the 706 number and had to wait on hold for 30 minutes before the call was answered. I was told that they dont have any service providers where I live (once again not in the boonies, right next to Phoenix). They would have someone call my by Monday (I called them on Wednesday) and would schedule a service call then. Who knows how long from Monday it will take them to come out. When I explained that time was of the essence due to the fact that I store insulin in my refrigerator, it was suggested that I purchase a industrial refrigerator. I suggested that Frigidaire manufacture a refrigerator that last longer than 6 months. I was then asked to take a survey. REALLY????

My washing machine has not worked since early Nov. 2016. Frigidaire has sent two different repair companies. The first one gave up as they were not able to fix it, the second repair company has not been able to figure out whats wrong with it. They tried changing the computer first which did not fix the machine. 2nd they tried changing something with the door which also did not fix the machine. It has been a pattern of trying different things without success. The current repair company has told us that the machine is not repairable and has also told the Frigidaire, but Frigidaire technicians keep insisting on trying different things.Throughout all this, We have had a total of 5 visits from the repair companies. I had to miss 3 days of work because I have to be home when they go to the home. The second company was able to work on Saturdays, but Frigidaires technicians are not available on weekend so the repair person cant talk on the phone with them while they look at the machine. I have complained about their process without any success since we still dont have a machine that works. I have spoken with 3 supervisors and one manager and keep getting the same message that their technicians still want to try something else. So they shipped some cables supposedly next day delivery on the week of 12/13 so we set up an appointment on 12/20 for the repair company to show up. The cables never made it to the home so I canceled the appointment with the repair company.I spoke with Frigidaire and now the cables were going to be deliver on 12/31 so I set another appointment with the repair company on 1/3. The cables never arrived on 12/31 so I canceled another appointment. Now Frigidaire tells me that the cables will not be deliver until 1/6/17. By now we are on two months in with a machine that is supposed be new and does not worked. I was also told by one Frigidaires support technicians that their notes showed repairs done in 1/16/16 for a similar issue with the door, before I actually moved to the new condo, purchased the condo on 2/16/16 with all new appliances. Unfortunately they are all from Frigidaire and given my current experience with this company I will never purchase and will tell friends to not purchase from this company. This also means that when the cables actually get delivered I will have to miss a 4th day of work so that the repair person can see the machine. It has been a nightmare dealing with Frigidaire as they are very insensitive to their customers needs, they seem to not care for their customers as we are now two months in without a working machine. Thank you.

Im selling my house and got an offer, the buyers inspector finds my Frigidaire stove has a recall, havent been fixed. And this fixing was put in that 1 week offer as a condition. When I call Frigidaire, they tell me to post the parts and later arrange the service, and 24 hours later thered be an automatic email send to me. I told buyers side that we will provide the email for them to delete the condition. But several days later I havent got this email. I called back but they said they dispatch the recall request to a service company but failed to tell me, and no email at all. Why not tell me? I told you its an important email for me. Because its a mistake! Im not happy so I want to complain. But the lady just said, If you dont have other things to help hope you have a good day, and hang up the phone! Its worst customer service I ever have!

Purchased the fridge in May 2016 model # FFTR1821QW. Within a month it started making all kinds of noises. It was under warranty so Frigidaire sent someone out to look at the problem. They said it was a fan motor making the noise and replaced it. No sooner than a day later, the same noise, called again. Sent someone out, said they didnt know where the noise was coming from. Called again, sent someone else out who stated there have been several people calling in with the noises that are coming from the product and theres nothing that can be done. It sounds like someone is knocking at all hours of the day and night plus a crap-load of different sounds. Frigidaire says it normal for all these noises and they sent me a form letter of all the noises this could make. Frigidaire says all these noises are listed in the Owners Manual. DONT YOU GET THE OWNERS MANUAL WHEN YOU ACTUALLY OWN THE ITEM?Do not buy this product. The noises are loud, obnoxious knocking constantly. Every day they keep getting noisier and noisier. $500+ may not be a lot of money for a company like Frigidaire, but to its consumers its a lot of money to spend on a crappy fridge. I guess thats one way to make you buy a warranty, because you know its gonna break down at some point.

I bought this oven a couple of years ago. The oven door got rusted in a little over a year. This has never happened with other brands of appliances I have purchased over the years. I called customer service and they refused to help! I am disappointed in the product and the service. Needless to say I will never be purchasing this brand again!! My family has used Frigidaire appliance for decades and so I trusted the brand. I am extremely disappointed in them! So much for brand loyalty.

I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator model #LFHG225ITF3 in May of 2019. In December the ice maker stopped working. I replaced the filter and an external line filter and it still didnt function so I called service. A young man all of 20 years old if that showed up and looked in the freezer. He then proceeded to make a phone call and made the repair by getting instructions by whomever he was speaking to. He said, OK its fixed and left. 24 hours later still no ice. I called the repair line again and demanded a different service company. The next company showed up and again a young man got on the phone with someone. He declared that the ice maker had to be replaced. By a diagnosis over the phone. That was 2 weeks ago. I just called service again and got a complete runaround. She called the company that was supposed to order the part and replace it and got their answering machine. When I told her I could have had the part in my hand in 24 hours if I had ordered it from Amazon she just kept repeating her script over and over. I told her I want a new refrigerator if the people that they have servicing their appliances cant even replace an ice maker. I cant have one, she said, because the unit has not been deemed unrepairable. So if I dont hear back within 24 hours she will send out a third company. To waste a third day of mine waiting for them to show up and potentially not fix the unit. This game, according to the representative, could go on and on until someone can fix it. Bottom line, be very worried about getting a problem solved by Frigidaire. I have never experienced such nonsense. They are subcontracting with the worst of the worst to service your expensive purchase. Buyer beware!

I got a new house, and I and my wife went appliance shopping. We got sold on Frigidaire Professional series appliances (refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher). I gotta say ever since I had them, I have always had issues with them. You would think you spend over $3,000 on appliances and they would last over 4-5 years. First, the refrigerator started acting up, then 2 heating coils broke on the flat-top oven. The microwave shorted out, and my dishwasher control board caught fire and almost burned my house down (Thank God, I was up and smelled it.). I contacted Frigidaire, and they took no responsibility at all. They told me it would be a few weeks and I would get some info in the mail. Needless to say, I never received it; and a second call to Frigidaire has the same outcome. Being in the customer service field, I say Shame on Frigidaire. I share my horror story with every customer I can. Theres no accountability, respect, integrity, or servanthood on Frigidaires part. With the customer service I have received, I will never purchase another Frigidaire/Electrolux product. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. I will not be fooled again by Frigidaire products. They received my payment once but lost a potential lifetime customer. When I am asked by others on what appliances they should purchase and which company will stand by their products, Frigidaire/Electrolux will be the one I tell them to stay away from. Not only will the appliances malfunction prematurely, but they are a safety hazard in your home. At this point, I have no Frigidaire/Electrolux products in my home (Craigslist free ad with warnings). My wife and I both decided they are not worth keeping for family safety reasons.

Purchased Frigidaire all BLACK refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave. Touching the appliances causes scratches with just finger touches or trying to remove any minimum food smears leaves marks that cannot be removed. Tried using soap and water then rinsing and lightly drying with ONLY clean microfiber. This was the suggestion by Frigidaires rep. Why does a company make something used daily that will not withstand any kind of expected use, i.e. opening the doors, pressing the temperature pads, wiping off food, etc? Do not buy black. You will waste your money, be unhappy, with no solution... like us.

Purchased a brand new fridge 5 months ago. Unit stop keeping the fridge cool. Called in for a repair which did take some time to get through their stupid automated system and finally got a human to talk to. They scheduled the appt with a local repairman who came out days later... YUP it’s not bad enough you lose all your food. You have to live without a fridge for additional days. Repairman did whatever to the fridge and left. Now its 10 days later and the same issue happened. Throwing all the food out AGAIN. HUNDREDS of dollars in food spoilage for yet another repair. Had to call in again and put up with the stupid automated machine to get a human. Scheduled yet another repair and had to wait for days to arrive...but wait, the repair guy calls and says he can’t get out there and it will be additional days before he can repair the fridge. Called Frigidaire yet again and of course put up with the stupid automated system to get a human on the phone. Now scheduling another appt with another repairman for today (4 days later) waited, waited waited...8-12 goes by and nobody. I called to find out what’s what and believe it or not... the order never got placed with the repairman. On the phone for 1 hour and 15 minutes fighting with reps and managers of Frigidaire to get the fridge fixed to only get I’m sorry for the inconvenience. Got so pissed off I called the repairman who fixed it originally and is coming out tomorrow. BUYER BEWARE! A $500.00 fridge has cost me a ton of aggravation, lost a day off of work, my tenants lost 2 full fridges of food and a half day off of work and had to live out of coolers off and on for 2 weeks. FIND A BETTER PRODUCT - Frigidaire shame on you for treating your customers like this. I will never buy another product from you!

I have a warranty on my washer and dryer (purchased new 3 years ago). The washing machine recently stopped working so I called Frigidaire to utilize my warranty coverage. They dispensed a company called ABCO to my home on 7-9-16. The technician was nice and advised he would be getting the part within 3 days (M-W). I never heard back from them. I left a total of 4 messages with the last one last night (7-19-16). The receptionist or maybe temporary worker was extremely rude, very unprofessional, and had the vocabulary of an uneducated child. She argued she did not receive any messages. Perhaps she did not hit play on the answering machine (yes, answering machine). After arguing, I called Frigidaire to advise their sub was useless and I wanted them nowhere near my home. I now have a new company coming 7-25 and I hope they can do what ABCO could not.

Beware Frigidaire Gallery 22.6 Cu. Ft. French door counter-depth - I purchased this fridge on March 15, 2012. It took delivery a week or two later. It is a beautiful fridge, which does not leave fingerprints on the front except on the handles. The counter depth is nice. However, the fridge stopped cooling properly on September 5th, not quite to the 6 months’ mark. The thermostat and possibly the compressor both failed. Fortunately, still under warranty. Unfortunately, Frigidaire does not contract with the larger, easier to get appointments and faster repair companies. I live in a large metro area and had 4 choices. Two of which are several counties away from me. So now 12 days after the repairman was finally able to come to diagnose, they are waiting on parts and I am now 16 days into no fridge and taking my family out for all meals. First visit, they diagnosed the fan unit and the thermostat. It took 7 days to get parts. When they installed those, they found that the door sensor is faulty. Now waiting on more parts. I also bought the matching dishwasher, hopefully not the same issues. I would recommend you purchase an extended warranty, which I will, but through a third party sufficiently able to provide proper service in your area. Im most annoyed that my Kenmore/Whirlpool fridge that this replaced never once had an issue in the 11 years I used it. It was just no longer a good fit in the remodeled kitchen. My favorite part of this entire thing - On Frigidaires website, they allow you to rate their products and post them. They send you an email asking you to click a link to confirm your review, only the link doesnt work! Funny. I wonder if I rated it 5 stars if the link would magically work.

We purchased a new house and we were thrilled to have all new Frigidaire Professional Appliances installed. We immediately had problems with our refrigerator. The seals in both doors are still not working properly after having been replaced. It has randomly stopped working for no apparent reason. We have had a door replaced on it (as it was dented upon arrival). I have asked for a replacement as it is not reliable but because it is still under warranty they will not replace the unit, just continue to try and fix it. Our dishwasher has also needed replacement parts (we have been in this house around 6 months now) as it was not heating properly. The latch on our microwave was not working so when the service company went to replace it, they broke off some plastic parts and currently it does not work at all. Three appliances all with problems within the first 6 months. I have been a homeowner for years and never had such challenges or problems in the past.

DO NOT BUY FROM FRIGIDAIRE. I bought this refrigerator last year about 4 months before the 1 year warranty expired. My refrigerator got a crack on the floor; Frigidaire send a company to taped, they drill a nasty hole next to the crack without my permission. For whatever reason they did they never got my authorization, then the tape came off a few days later after was applied. That’s when I saw the hole next to the crack, Frigidaire offer to send another company for a second opinion. The company came and told me was unrepairable. I call again and they said that they were sending other companies. They schedule me about 6 times holding my time for 5 hours every time. I called Frigidaire and spent minutes on the phone explain every representative the same issue. They all reschedule me, no one shows up. No one ever fix or replace my fridge. Even one of the companies they sent out told me that Frigidaire was one of the most awful companies to deal while you have an issue, they stated that is just a cosmetic problem and isn’t affecting the function of the refrigerator. Now I stuck here with this suite of appliances from Frigidaire with a hole, a crack and a tape sticking off my Refrigerator. If I ever knew this I WILL NEVER BUY FROM FRIGIDAIRE AND OF COURSE I WILL NEVER BUY AGAIN.

We purchased our stove on 7/29/21 and it was delivered and installed by 8/12/21. Used twice and the control panel shut off when I was using the air fryer! So far two service calls have been made and the stove is still not fixed. First service call was on 9/13. Technician didnt have parts and they needed to be ordered. Second time he came on 10/4, replaced the parts and it still didnt work. He suggested we talk to the electrician that did the wiring. Our electrician came out today and everything was good with the electric to the stove. SOOOO, I had to call Frigidaire again to schedule another service call. Its absolutely impossible to get through to customer service and when I did, I asked to speak with a manager and she hung up on me! So I called back and waited on hold again only to be told that the stove will not be replaced until deemed unrepairable! Again, I asked to speak with management and told, I would get a call back in 1-2 days. My next appointment to have the technician come to the house is 10/14!!! Its 10/5/21 and I still have no resolution for my $1800 oven! We basically got a lemon and Frigidaire isnt willing to step up and honor their commitment to good service.

My Frigidaire Professional series dishwasher model PLD4375RFC0 started flashing the ER error code this month, exactly 4 years after it was installed new in 2007. It is now unusable and I have to leave the door open slightly because if it is closed, it will turn itself on at random. I have searched the internet and seen others with the same model have the same problem. I researched the parts affected and along with labor, it will be about half the cost of the dishwasher when it was new. I have a Frigidaire microwave, stove, and fridge also and now I am waiting for those to start failing. I will be replacing the dishwasher with another brand in the hope that I can squeeze more than 4 years out of it, but from the way things are made today, who knows.

Frigidaire Refrigerator Prof SXS - Never Again. Worst purchase ever made! This was a lemon from the get go but Frigidaire does not replace - they just continue to put on bandages. Every year since I have owned this piece of junk I have had to have it serviced at least once a year. I have paid over $600 for extended warranties thinking that eventually everything would be fixed. Boy was I wrong. Now it is leaking water (not from ice or water dispenser) but randomly down the right side of the unit even with the water spigot to the frig turned off. Two service calls later they still dont know whats wrong and in the mean time I have warped hardware floors (2nd time this frig has leaked) and no resolution. The only thing this refrigerator is good is displaying magnets. Once this years warranty runs out, this frig it out of here... and no more Frigidaire/Electrolux for me!

My range was purchased 10 years ago. I had no major issues. But spills penetrate through the seal of the door. There is no access to clean it off. My husband figured out how to undo the hinges and split it open. Even then it doesnt get clean and looks dirty all the time. Also while using recipes the Temperature and time never match. Need to raise it and cook longer than stated. Constantly adjusting.

I bought a new Frigidaire refrigerator from a company that went out of business a few months later (H.H. Gregg). Within 6 months, we experienced multiple problems (doors would not stay shut, shelves breaking loose from brackets, icemaker malfunctioning). Called Frigidaire just prior to manufacturer warranty expiration; they scheduled a service call from a local repair shop. I stayed home from work to meet them, but they did not show up. It took over 2 weeks for them to find a different local repair shop. Missed work again to meet them; they couldnt fix it without replacement parts. 3rd service call (more missed work), discovered Frigidaire sent defective repair parts! 4th service call (more missed work), they finally gave up and said the appliance was a manufacturer defect and unrepairable. By this time, the manufacturer warranty had expired, so Frigidaire/Electrolux refused to cover the replacement cost! Same problem it took them weeks to conclude was not repairable. Their incompetence led to the delays past the warranty period. Finally offered to give me a replacement unit if I agreed to pay a $325 shipping and handling charge! Even I agreed to that, they would not guarantee that the new unit would be free of defects. Said I would have to rely on their standard limited warranty for repairs to the second unit. I refused and demanded a full refund, but they wouldnt budge. They even refused to pay the bill for the multiple service calls to try and repair the first piece of junk, until I threatened legal action. Their customer service was beyond terrible. They lied repeatedly and could not communicate within their own company. They did not care about me or my concerns. I will NEVER buy another product from that unethical company!

Bought French Door fridge in July 2015 Model LFHB2741PF5A. Now out of warranty by 9 months. Started having lights go out on touch screen control then quit delivering ice. Have spent $700.00 dollars for replacing 2 control boards and ice maker motor. Lights now work on screen, ice maker still will not deliver ice even though ice is being made. Might as well be using ice trays. Frigidaire customer support response has been that even if I had the extended warranty they would only replace the parts and if it could not be repaired I would have to buy a new fridge on my own. No more Frigidaire appliances for me and please think twice and research before you buy.

I bought the gallery series Refrigerator, Range, Dishwasher, Microwave on 11/18/2014. On 7/1/2015 the refrigerator (model# FGHS2655PF) quit working completely. I could not get anyone at customer until the next day and my service appointment was not until 7/6/2015 because they only have one service provider for the whole Cincinnati area. I had to leave work early to meet the repairman, only to have him say he needs to order parts and come back on 7/9/2015. Had to take off work again to meet repairman and to have him tell me he needs more parts and needs to come out again on 7/11/2015 to then tell me he cant fix it after 3 1/2 hours. The whole time that I talked to Frigidaire they did not care that I lost everything in my refrigerator (approx $200) or that I didnt have a refrigerator at all for the last 10 days. They still have to review whether they are even going to replace it. $1000 refrigerator lasted 7 1/2 months? What has happened to FRIGIDAIRE? They used to be the brand I sought out to buy.

My repairman recommended asking the company to supply a new panel for free, so I called Frigidaire and they absolutely refuse. Bought over $6000 of appliances while renovating my kitchen (less than three years ago). First issue arose when cast iron grates on dual fuel range had peeling paint off grates. Called when the stove was about 8 months old. Told there was no warranty and if I wanted something better looking, I needed to buy new grates. I did, supposedly got a 50% discount but grates were still nearly $100. Just had my 5th service call for icemaker repair... each time after paying $130 service call always requiring parts to fix... spent around $800 in repairs so far. Tried to speak to customer service about my frustration and high cost of obviously defective product. No offer of compensation other than 50% off parts ordered from them, big deal. I even tried to speak to a supervisor and got no other offers of help or even trying to remedy my situation. Not to mention a cracked piece of plastic on the top of my freezer door damaged by the repairman that cannot be replaced... Frigidaire does not sell this part and I need a whole new door... absolutely ridiculous and poor service after spending my hard earned money on several appliances... I would never purchase again. I have a 14 year old whirlpool fridge that is an extra-- still in use in my garage. I have done nothing other than replace the water filter. Never one ounce of trouble. Next time I will buy whirlpool.

ATTENTION CONSUMERS!!!! DONT BUY!! This is an honest warning from one consumer to another! Don’t buy Frigidaire. They don’t last more than 7 years. I replaced my Kenmore fridge and that’s still making ice and water as we speak in the garage just fine. My fridge from Frigidaire cut out on me 3 times and parts were replaced 3 times at my expense and yet again broke down. My gas range seems to auto ghost mode on at 400 degrees or higher so now I have to keep that unplugged. My dryer was worked on several times and $100’s was poured into my dryer for parts and labor. The washer doesn’t spin the water out of clothes anymore. And now the dishwasher just generates random wash times while in a wash cycle.Frigidaire products are garbage and won’t last. I spoke to a corporate supervisor. And it was a slap to the face to offer me 20% off parts after explaining my situation and what has been going on since I purchased these products. All in all if you want cheap buy from Frigidaire. If you want to talked to like an idiot buy Frigidaire. Or if you truly listen to other consumers go elsewhere!!!

I recently remodeled my kitchen. I bought all the professional series Frigidaire appliances. I wish I had not done that. They were very expensive. I can not believe how cheaply made they are and feel as well. The appliances are not even 3 months old and yet I have had the service tech/company to my home 3 times already. Microwave will not heat. My refrigerator barely makes ice yet the cooling drawer freezes everything (This is a drawer inside the refrigerator that should keep things a little colder than the rest of the refrigerator). I have had to throw out vegetables and other food as it freezes everything. The dishwasher racks are so flimsy... I get nervous that it will not be able to hold the weight of dishes or glasses that I put on them. I would love to have my reliable old appliances back that did not cost me a fortune. I would not recommend buying anything Frigidaire. I would recommend GE profile and or Kenmore. Never ever had a problem with these reliable brands.

Brand new washer/dryer combo - The washer died in three days. I called in and they referred me to an authorized servicer. I waited four days for him then needed a part. Still waiting on day 17. I now called Frigidaire and said, Please just take back the machine. They said no. My retailer was ready to do a swap, but Frigidaire wont authorize it. My retailer should have stepped up and helped me out, but they are lame too. No one cares that I spent good money and got the shaft. I said, How could you allow it to drag on this long? They said, It is our policy. I said, Screw your policy. I will never buy this product again. So as soon as they are fixed, hey goon Craigslist and I am getting a different brand. Dont buy Frigidaire. We purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator in May of this year. Because of the pandemic, I received my fridge in July. Initially the fridge worked very well. We use it in the garage only for bottled water and Gatorade. We were not planning to use it in the winter as it is not “garage ready”. Towards the end of August, we noticed a small crack in the bottom floor of the fridge. We should have taken a picture of it...lesson learned! It is now the beginning of October and the crack has started to open up with the edges of the plastic curling up and exposing insulation. The plastic surrounding the crack is now starting to bubble and looks like it may follow in cracking. I have plenty of pictures. I tried to contact Frigidaire but all I can get are recordings (“due to high customer call volume “) that direct me to a local repair shop since my fridge is only a few months old. The repair shop was very good and sent the pics of the fridge directly to Frigidaire. However, Frigidaire claims the damage is not covered and blames me for dropping something on the plastic causing the damage. As far as I know, nothing has been dropped in the fridge. Even if a plastic water bottle was dropped, I am amazed that it cause a cracked in plastic that is now deep enough to expose insulation. I also don’t understand how all of the plastic is bubbling up underneath. That is MOST DEFINITELY not caused by something being dropped. When I called to follow up on the case number given by the local shop, Frigidaire operator is a recording saying they are unable to take any calls. For a company as big as this, with products as expensive as theirs, how is this acceptable customer service?! You can’t even reach them!! Totally unacceptable and I will never be purchasing a Frigidaire product again. I will most definitely be leaving a review on my YouTube channel detailing my experience with this company.

Ordered a replacement part from this company and they sent the wrong piece. Discovered a problem with the people they have in the ordering department. They do not listen to you, make promises they never keep and the supervisors go only by the reps notes so they intentionally do not put anything in those notes to protect themselves. Called three times for a return form and I was told I never called. Ordered my part from a small business and received it in one day. Terrible customer service.Bought Frigidaire refrigerator, stove and dishwasher for the new addition in 2014. Fridge burned out the motherboard 3 years later (used a 50 year old Sears Coldspot that still works for weeks). Ice maker has always had cubes that stick so it clunks till you pull out the cube. Hardly ever use it. The one time I did turn it on and didnt hear the clunking but when I opened the door I found the entire freezer frozen in a giant ice cube from top to bottom. The dishwasher has had a heat sensor burn out. Also the wash cycle would never advanced till our repairman (not a Frigidaire repairman) told us about a design flaw. You cant use the Hot Wash Cycle ever because it will never heat the water enough to advance out of the wash cycle. The oven door has slots so if you accidentally spill you have to take the entire door apart to clean. Will never buy this product again.

Problem started under original warranty and I stupidly purchased another 2 yr contract. Waste of money.

Three years ago my husband and I decided to update our kitchen appliances. We purchased a french - double door refrigerator, microwave and wall-mounted oven. Within 3 months we needed to call on a repair for the ice maker. It took 3 visits to get it working. (Our daughter had the same problem with her Frigidaire refrigerator in 4 months). We now have the bottom of our oven warping with 2 cracks in the bottom. You can actually see the element glow through the cracks when the oven is on. I was told not to use it until we could get a repairman out. Its a defect!!! And because we dont have the extended warranty, its not covered. My recommendation to anyone buying a Frigidaire appliance is to get the extended warranty. If they built a quality product, you wouldnt need the extended warranty. They must have an interest in the company selling the warranties. No assistance was offered to resolve this issue. Our purchase was made at Nebraska Furniture Mart in Omaha, NE. I wish I would have read these reviews first. I will never by another Frigidaire appliance again.

I purchased a Frigidaire upright freezer in July of 2021. By the end of December, the freezer had an indicator light blinking which mean the temperature was dropping inside. I had almost $400 worth of food which was thawing and had to be thrown out. This happened New Years weekend, and I was not able to contact Frigidaire until Tuesday, January 4th, when they reopened from the holidays. They sent a technician immediately out the next day, January 5th, and he noted that 5 different components of the freezer had gone bad and needed to be replaced. He also mentioned that hed had over 20 different calls on the same freezer, which the same issues with the 5 components failing. I called back to Frigidaire on January 5, 2022, and told the representative that five components failing was not a fluke but a defect in the unit. I also noted that this model freezer was discontinued....I wonder why? The representative told me that if they were unable to order the five components within 7 to 10 business days, I could get a refund. No one contacted me and I called back on the 11th business day, which was January 20th. I spoke to both a representative and her supervisor and they told me that I would not receive a refund, but would simply have to wait until they received the backordered parts. I asked her what timeline would be reasonable, and she said she didnt know, I would just have to wait! I demanded a refund, and she refused. She said the only way I would get a refund is if the technician declared the freezer unrepairable, which, clearly they will not do. All the while, I am without a freezer, lost over $400 in food, and the 1 year warranty is ticking away. By the time the unit is repaired, I will then be out of warranty and out of luck not if, but when it breaks down again. All I was offered is $100 in food replacement. I want a refund and want this freezer declared defective.

I purchased this refrigerator in April of 2010, now 4 years later it has stopped working. Earlier this year I was concerned about temperature fluctuations but they always went back to normal in a few hours. I have dropped a can of soda in the refrigerator and it cracked the inside. The drawers have been very difficult to maneuver resulting in some breakage there also. Seems like very inferior materials used. The only advice I received was to place some tape over the crack. I have seen this recommendation in other comments regarding these refrigerators. Very unhappy overall with this product, cracking, breaking, temperature fluctuations and now a breakdown (BTW this happened the week before Christmas for which I was going to cook). I am very upset that I did not do my homework before I purchased my new kitchen. In 2007, we had a fire in our home and had to have all of our appliances replaced. I did not have a lot of time to do online research because we were busy working at our home trying to get moved back in, so now I am paying the price. The range keeps blowing the electronic board and thermosensor from overheating (which wouldnt you expect a range top to get hot), even though I had the recall done, which was supposed to correct the issue. I am very upset about Frigidaire not recalling their faulty products, as I am sure they know that they have a design issue in these ranges.I just hope that consumers research complaints about Frigidaire because they will see how poorly made their appliances are. As everyone else has said, SHAME ON YOU FRIGIDAIRE. It is sad to see expensive appliance products made in the USA that are of such low quality that you have to replace them in just a few years. Consumers be wary of anything that Frigidaire makes.

Hi. I am a Frigidaire owner of many appliances. In August of this year I purchased a refrigerator from Lowe’s. 2 1/2 months later it stopped cooling. Frigidaire sent a repairman who after speaking with their tech department decided there was a leak in the internal hot gas loop which is located on the inside of the unit and could not be replaced so they suggested he put an external part on the back of the unit that would bypass the internal unit. I asked for a replacement refrigerator because it was a makeshift repair on a 2 month old refrigerator. I was told they would not replace it and this was the best they could do. I’m very disappointed with the way this was handled and will now look for a different brand of appliance in the future!!

Bought all new Frigidaire appliances for new house in Coeur dAlene, Idaho. Right away the refrigerator broke, making the freezer side super cold and the refrigerator side hot. Model number is FGHC2345LF. Freds Appliance (supplier we bought from) fixed it. This is a vacation home, so we are not there very much. Next time we came out, the same problem. Freds fixed it again (allegedly). This happened 3 more times, for a total of 5 repairs for the same thing, under warranty. They claim they replaced mechanical parts, electrical wiring, circuit boards, etc.Of course, as soon as the warranty expired, the same problem reoccurred and both Frigidaire and Freds Appliance told us to start paying if we wanted it fixed. Paid $583 to repair it. A year later, its broken again. Now they are saying its my fault because we dont use it enough! Seriously! They say it has electrolysis because Im not there with it. We leave the house at 55 degrees in the winter when were not there, and never over 80 in the summer. These are not extreme operating temperatures. Why doesnt the state attorney generals step in? I am going to request assistance from the Idaho BBB and State Attorney General.

When we bought our home back in March 2016, we replaced the kitchen appliances with smudge resistant stainless steel Frigidaire ones. We quickly realized that THE HANDLES are not smudge resistant. Annoying. We also noticed that the drawers were so tight and stiff we could barely open and shut them. The company sent us a food grade silicone spray to treat the rails. THEN, 2 months after we got the appliances the motherboard on our dishwasher crapped out. We had to wait 2 weeks for the part to come in. Shortly after, the motor in the ice maker went.Again, replacement needed. Recently, it started being fussy again, requiring the ice to constantly need to be cleared from the blade in the front or it hangs up and won’t spin. And now, AGAIN, the motherboard went on our dishwasher. And we are expecting family from out of town in a week for our daughter’s wedding. At first, Frigidaire offered to pay for the part, but wanted us to pay for the labor, because it was out of warranty, and we didn’t purchase an extended one.So I asked them, How is it, that we spend $580 on a new dishwasher, and we are told we need to spend an extra $100 to $200 in order for the company to stand by their product? I told the Frigidaire representative that I felt like the extended warranty was extortion. I asked her how she would feel, if she spent that kind of money on an appliance and it lasted less than two years? I said that our last home had a cheap KitchenAid builder’s grade dishwasher, and we never had an issue with it in 10 years. She checked with the manager, and then she told me that they would do the repair for free as a one time courtesy. But that I should purchase the extended warranty??? I said no, because if it needs repairs again, I’m getting rid of it.

With no latch to click to open it you must employ brute strength to open it.Problem 3, once you get this piece of junk open the door wont stay open. The problems here are numerous but the most aggravating is that when you open the door to load the dishwasher and pull the bottom rack out, the door starts shutting on its own sliding the rack back into the dishwasher. I have been employing a brick to hold the door down while I load the dishwasher. Problem 4, I thought my previous dishwasher was loud. This dishwasher drowns out every other noise by a mile. We have been setting it to come on later, it only has one setting for this, 4 hours. So now around 2 am the entire family meets in the kitchen to find out what the racket is about.

This is about the safety Issue with Frigidaire/Electrolux June 2007 microwave/fan above stove unit. Quite some time ago, the door unit became loose and progressively worse. The problem is that the two door hinges have become broken loose. There are no screws holding the hinge. It is either a cold weld problem or the pressure fit (similar to a pop rivet) has let go. This I feel is a serious product design flaw.

I would like to know how to pursue a complaint. The $625 Frigidaire dishwasher requires a new control/console which with labor is about half what I paid for the thing. The door handle is looser on the microwave every day I notice and soon will fall into the door according to other review. Had to replace motherboard in range while still under warranty. So how can we make their rip off cost them some money for a change?

Purchased a stainless steel slide-in stove from Sears 2 years ago. It is a beautiful stove and my wife was very happy with it. She had called Frigidaire a few days after it was installed to find out what to use to clean and purchased all of the recommended cleaners. This stove was always immaculate. After about a year and a half the stainless steel control panel started peeling in a few spots making this otherwise beautiful stove look terrible. We checked our brochures and owners manuals and they all stated that it was made of stainless steel when in reality it is made of aluminum coated to look like stainless. We called Frigidaires customer service and I use that term loosely and asked them why my stainless stove is made of fake stainless and that told me it was real stainless. When I explained that mine was coated aluminum, they said they would have the technical people look into it and get back to me. They contacted me later and explained that my wife had scrubbed the outer layer of stainless steel off. What? And that for $250 they could send me a new stainless steel control panel. What? Thats right they are still trying to tell me that its stainless. Im not an attorney but this sure sounds fraudulent to me. I had good experiences in the past with Frigidaire but to misrepresent what you are selling is fraud and fortunately there are many other manufacturers to chose from.

In January/February of 2016 I bought a brand new unit from this despicable company Frigidaire. Keep in mind when I buy a refrigerator I intend for it to last at least 4 to 5 years before it starts to give problems unless there is a natural disaster. Earthquake, storm, etc... in less than 9 moths the fridge light doesnt work. I went to numerous stores to get a light bulb thinking that the light bulb in the fridge blew out. Home Depot, Lowe’s, Orchard, etc… 7 different light bulbs were purchased and tested on the fridge yet none of them worked, I went as far as going back to Lowe’s and getting the light bulb that was used in the model on the floor and tested it, that didnt work either. Later that day I called Frigidaire customer support and got the most rudest, ignorant, discussing person on the phone. While shes babbling on and on about how it is my fault and how the company she works for is sooooo great Im trying to tell her that theres no way in hell that I could have done anything to the fridge if the unit is working and cooling things. I explain to her that is a self defrost fridge and that there are only 2 people in the household. I hung up refusing to get yelled at by someone who won’t listen to anything I have to say. Around 15 min after I had hung up I went to the fridge (with my flashlight) to get some lemonade. As soon as the grub on my right pinky finger touched the fridge door handle it detached from the fridge. I sat there next to the door handle thinking to myself well this is complete madness. The light bulb doesnt work and the fridge handle is not latched correctly. This company really needs to start manufacturing decent unit. Mark my words, NEVER WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THE CRAP FRIGIDAIRE SUPPLIES TO YOU... PS. waiting for my 3rd repair guy to show up on Friday. Let’s see how that goes.

I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery gas Range from Sears. In 4 months the touch pad stopped working. First one number didnt respond. So, we stopped using the 1 digit. Soon another then another stopped working. The Sears warranty was invalid. So I replaced the $120 touch pad myself. While taking out the old part I noticed how poorly the thing was put together. All the screws were over-torqued cracking the plastic parts in many places. I replaced the touch pad and it worked fine. Then 2 more months went by and the electronic brain shorted out in a thunderstorm. Again, Sears would not do anything about it so I replaced the part myself. Now the new Sears replacement touch pad is starting to not work again! We now have to cook without the #3. So 350 degrees is 400 degrees or 299. It is so frustrating. We bought a whole suite of appliances. Frigidaire dishwasher was so bad that we had Sears come and get it the day after it was installed and they replaced it with a Kenmore when I complained repeatedly. The refrigerator works, but is noisy. I will never shop at Sears again and I recommend that you buy nothing there. They do not back up what they sell!

The 1st tech told me to run the sink faucet until the water was hot and only use a certain detergent. In all of the homes I have rented or owned I have never had to baby a dishwasher. I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator 2 weeks ago. From the moment I plugged it in it started making loud sounds from the coolant pump. Ever hear whales under water? Followed by knocking sounds like somebody knocking on your door. I thought maybe a couple days would help get the coolant circulating & the sounds would diminish. They did not. After contacting Frigidaire Customer Service they informed me I could call out a repair service & if they did not find anything wrong I would be charged for the call. Since the unit does do what its supposed to what would there be to fix, sounds? So I tried to return it to the store only to be 7 days too late for returns after only 2 weeks! I never write reviews but for this company I created an account just so I can write a review. I bought a Frigidaire appliance from Home Depot. Within 2 weeks a brand new fridge breaks. Find out there is only a 48 hour return policy. Had to spend over an hour calling Home Depot and Frigidaire to get it fixed. Had to call the repairman myself. They gave me a list of 6 repairman and only 1 actually still works for the company. Takes 3 days for them to look at it. Takes 7 days for them to order the part. Takes another week for them to come back and fix the fridge. The whole time the fridge does not work. What to do without another fridge? Had to buy another fridge since over 2 weeks. My ice maker from my Frigidaire refrigerator has never worked properly. It never stops making ice unless I manually shut it off. Then it started spitting out ice all connected and huge chunks. Then one day my daughter and husband were getting ice from the ice maker and noticed right before drinking it small and large pieces of plastic in their water. The dispenser broke as the ice went through and the cracked plastic. Ive contacted Frigidaire and they try to avoid what I tell them by saying sorry your ice maker is not working. No... My upright freezer was delivered in May 2020. By June the frost-free freezer was forming ice near the door. Took Frigidaire 2 months to mail me a replacement gasket. Before the part arrived the door wouldnt stay shut. Had to put a ratchet strap around it to keep it closed. Gasket arrived and it doesnt fit in the door so falls off immediately. Now the freezer is constantly running trying to stay cool. The contents are melting. Frigidaire is horrible. I tried calling multiple times on Friday but their help desk literally didnt answer, had a message that said they were too busy and it hung up on me. Repeatedly. I emailed them, no response. Called again, sat on hold forever. Their customer service is awful. They wont refund or replace the freezer. They wont refund the $700 of food that is now ruined. I will never buy Frigidaire again. Grating noises from ice maker FFHS2611LWMA. I selected this refrigerator b/c it was available to be delivered the next day. Now I know why! Nobody in their right mind should want to purchase this unit. Shortly after delivery, we experienced a racket beyond belief. It is so loud it wakes me up at night. We called an approved service technician, while under warranty. He stated this is just the unit. There is nothing to be done. Two letters to Frigidaire. Today after the 2nd letter, the rep. suggested I contact an approved service provider. I asked her why would I do this, when the provider operates under the dictates of the manufacturer. Therefore, I would incur an expense for no corrective measures whatsoever.... She further stated, this sound is standard for this unit. As for my experience, I have concluded...Frigidaire is aware of this loud and disruptive feature and continues to sell it to unsuspecting customers. The least they could do would be to put a disclaimer on the unit. PLEASED BE ADVISED THAT YOU ARE PURCHASING A BANGING, KNOCKING, ANNOYING REFRIGERATOR. THANK YOU FOR YOUR BUSINESS!!!

Frigidaire Gallery Series purchased in October 2013 are bad. Purchased Dishwasher, Microwave and slide in Oven cost approximately $4300. Today, March 28th, not three months since installed, My Microwave has been pulled off the wall as it has per the service Person a bad magnetron and there are probably more issues. My dishwasher has a bad sprayer arm which doesnt drain before cycle complete causing all the lower clean dry dishes to be soaked all over again. This issue had two service calls and an order for a replacement sprayer arm but still the same issue. As per the service folks, the engineering team has been advised they are looking to correct the issue. The oven grates have rubber tips that melt and now there is constant vibration. A kit is available but it doesnt address the issue. I am now out a microwave. Have to be real careful whenever I am emptying the dishwasher and the stove grates vibrate whenever I turn on the oven. Looking for productive comments. No trash talk. I can do that myself. Yes, I have contacted the Frigidaire website with my warranty issues.

18 months ago we purchased a Kenmore Laundry center, model 970L97422F0, that was made Frigidaire. The washer DOES NOT fill with enough water to do the cleaning. More often than not there are dry spots. We had the repairman out twice and his only solution for the problem was to add a pail of water before starting the machine, so to trick it to think that the weight was more. Also it is the nosiest washer we have ever owned!! It sounds like a cement mixer when it is running. Phone calls to Sears and Frigidaire go unanswered. The last email I sent to them, over two weeks ago, only received an automatic response saying someone would be back to me within 24 hours - you guessed it, they didnt reply.

Customer service nightmare. I purchased all new kitchen appliances from Frigidaire back in October. My microwave has broken twice. That is not the good part though. They sent someone out to reinstall the new one and they told me that the screws didnt match up so they could not install it. This was 5 weeks ago. They gave me numbers to call. No one calls me back. I have had to contact Frigidaire who also offers no advice. The truth is that the nuts on top of the microwave are not attached and rolling around loose in the machine. So there is nothing for the bolts to screw into. I have explained this again and again and nobody there understands what nuts are or the purpose of them. Frigidaire cannot wrap their brains around that and keep telling me there is nothing more that they can do. I have had a defective microwave in my kitchen since. Frigidaire appliances are the worst. We bought the Frigidaire Gallery series, all four major appliances - brand new from Appliance Factory Outlet. I will NEVER buy Frigidaire again and will not buy from Appliance Factor Outlet again. We paid extra to get the gallery series so fingerprints are less noticeable and apparently the extra money is only for that feature because the appliances have been nothing but trouble. Within 2 years we have had 7 repair calls on our refrigerator (ice machine not working, ice machine freezing/seizing up, doors not sealing, under drawer freezer ice build up, etc. etc. etc.). One time the complete cooling system went out and we had to throw out a bunch of food, of which they do not care about. Thank goodness we had the extended 10 year warranty or else we probably would have spent enough money to buy another refrigerator on service calls. Appliance Factory Outlet was less than helpful. They clearly had the attitude that its not their problem. They want the sale without any customer service. The warranty people (Brand Source) are irritated every time I have to place another repair call. I actually had Brand Source correct me after I said you guys have been out to my house a million times and she sarcastically said they told me that I have had only 7 repair calls. Unbelievable. Now we are 3 years into our new appliances and the dishwasher has broke 2 times. Unfortunately, we do not have the extended warranty on that. The oven also has had issues but suffice it to say - never buy Frigidaire appliances. I called the corporate office and they said you have to have 4 occurrences OF THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM before they will consider a replacement. I guess 7 or 8 calls on a brand new fridge isnt troublesome to them.

We recently had our kitchen remodeled, and we felt we got a good deal on Frigidaire appliances. Now I know why. Weve had trouble with all three Frigidaire appliances: refrigerator, range and microwave. Our biggest problem and what makes me angry is that the microwave, out-of-the-box, was defective. The refrigerator was repaired; were going to find out about whether the range can be repaired later this week, but the microwave was irreparable. So, Frigidaire offered to give us a replacement (however, they have none of the model we purchased in stock and according to their representative, Agneka **, when they will have one is indeterminate). If I wait for a new microwave (which it appears may never happen, since I read indeterminate as discontinued), Frigidaire will pay for installation. My other option is for Frigidaire to buy-back the microwave at retail. This, according to Ms. **, is for the convenience of the customer and not Frigidaire policy (this is a clue to how basically non-consumer centered Frigidaire is). They will not, however, pay for installation of the microwave, even though the reason for an installation charge is their defective machine. As you can imagine, I have to go through a number of hoops before Frigidaire will send the buy-back check. Im guessing it will be three to five weeks before I see the check. In the meantime, I plan to buy a new microwave, but not from our original vendor and not from Frigidaire. Dont buy from Frigidaire, period.

So far to date, our microwave since we bought these products has been serviced 3 times because the time is always running fast. Service tech has been out and changed the board with no results. It still runs fast and we keep being told the same thing. It can only be the board, yet the problem still remains. Also, we almost had a fire because the element in the oven warped and touched the bottom plate of the oven causing the plate to melt. Still with the stove, the light that shows you that the surface is hot dimly flickers all the time even though the stove has not been in use. They have been out to fix this problem as well saying a ground wire is loose, but it still does it. The built in vacuum that we purchased overheats all the time and after running it for about 5 minutes and then shutting it down, it wont start until it cools down. Had the motor replaced once already and it still doing it now. On to the latest problem, our dishwasher started leaking last night. Thought maybe just need a new door seal. Upon doing a look see, found out the water was not coming from the seal but rather from water hitting the door and coming out the bottom. After taking the dishwasher apart to see why the water was hitting the door in this fashion, I found holes in the bottom spray arm. These holes had been melted from the heater coil in the bottom of the dishwasher and the heater coil is warped in such a fashion that continued use will definitely cause a fire.

It had an energy saving device which helped reduce my summer electric bills. It was easy to operate. The air conditioner produced cold air efficiently for over 20 years. It was very quiet. There was little vibration. The operation of the unit had energy efficiency. In 20 years I only had two service calls to have it repaired and one was simply a freon leak. It was a room air conditioner that fit into the wall. It fit securely and did not detract from the room decor. It came in decorator colors that were neutral so that it blended well with my living room decor. It was very non intrusive. This air conditioner operated efficiently for over 20 years. After I sold the house the new owners were still using it in the humid New England summers. Two service calls in all that time speaks volumes for its reliability.

My wife and I purchased new appliances for a kitchen redo. We bought a top-of-the-line stainless Frigidaire dishwasher. 18 months after installation, a control board burned out, a $280 repair charge. I contacted Frigidaire Customer Service and received what looked like a form letter telling me Frigidaire offers very comprehensive warranties with each product to guard against parts that may be defective at the time of manufacture. Needless to say, since it was older than 12 months, there was nothing they were willing to do for me. I’m posting my review to warn others. Frigidaire refused to post my review bc it may steer customers “away”. Ridiculous. My husband and I saved up for 10 years to do our kitchen remodel. We used the Frigidaire Pro Line for all of our appliances. I have never been more disappointed with a refrigerator. I chose this model because of the smudge proof finish. This is biggest mistake we made for our entire renovation! This fridge accepts magnets and so naturally we excitedly hung up our children’s artwork. In less than two weeks (after removing the artwork to dust the fridge face) I discovered that the ENTIRE front of it was scratched with fine scratches from the magnets. I am just sick over this! Nowhere in the manual does it say NOT to use magnets on the surface. Since it accepted magnets in the first place, we assumed that was considered normal and acceptable use of the fridge. The magnets I used were brand new and not rough! The surface of this unit is ridiculously easy to scratch! Had I have known this fact, I would have NEVER chosen this fridge. It was a giant purchase for us and now I have to live with it ugly and ruined. Also, I’m now embarrassed to show people my new kitchen because of it. My kitchen looks like “new kitchen, but old fridge”. The worst part for me is I didn’t even get to enjoy having what I thought would be the refrigerator of my dreams. It was ruined before I even got a chance to enjoy it. And now I can’t even enjoy my kitchen remodel that we waited years for, YEARS!Please do not waste your money like we did. Buy a regular stainless steel refrigerator instead and just get used to wiping off fingerprints, because at least they come off! My previous regular stainless steel fridge was over 10 years old and barely had a scratch on it. In comparison this expensive “pro” fridge can’t even operate in the simplest of function, to hold up a calendar and children’s artwork on the front of it, without becoming damaged.

When I started taking it apart, I noticed the plastic frame was badly cracked. I called Frigidaire because that piece has no weight on it other than bread and other lightweight items, and should never break let alone in 5 years. They refused to do anything about it, and the discounted price they offered me was considerably more than online resellers of this part. I told them that was a ridiculous price since they are the manufacturer. Even worse, customer service said that they werent willing to replace it at no charge. They didnt seem to care. I will never buy another Frigidaire product if this is what they call customer service.

We purchased our Frigidaire glass-top stove in July of 2011 (Model #LGEF3045KFE). Within six months, it started showing symptoms. Whenever we used two burners and the oven at the same time, the entire unit would shut down. After cooling down (and flipping the breaker switches for the stove circuit), the stove would reset and wed be able to use it again (as long as we only used one burner and the oven). This happened a few times the first year; it happened a few more times the second year. I kept thinking I didnt have a large enough circuit breaker for the stove, until it happened again for the last time. The stove would not reset. NONE of the burners, nor the oven, worked. Thats when I went online and found out that there were a lot of people complaining about the same problem. When I contacted Frigidaire, they said it was MY problem since the one-year warranty period had expired, even though my stove had started showing problems DURING the warranty period.Frigidaire has refused to stand by its product (which is TERRIBLE, by the way). As a result, I will NEVER buy anything made by Frigidaire ever again. I am telling all of my friends to stay away from their products because of their shoddy workmanship, lousy customer service, and useless warranty. Appliances should last for 10-20 years before breaking down. Ive been a homeowner for 30 years. I have NEVER had to fix ANY of my appliances - until I bought a Frigidaire. Never again.

I bought all Frigidaire Gallery appliances for my kitchen. Since then my refrigerator has broken at least 4. 1st was ice maker $150 then the whole motherboard $350. Now its the water inlet valve $150 and of course all this happens after the 1st year when the warranty expires. So the way I see it I paid for a new fridge in repair. Also bottom freezer door doesnt close right and is chipping away. Stay away from the P.O.S company. I contacted them to see about recalls and such all the recalls are for the model before it. This model has the same problems but no recalls. That is the biggest scheme. Stay away from this junk box.

I just bought a fridge on Black Friday that was delivered to my house the Friday after. After the installation, I noticed the fridge beeping, but I thought that it was due to the fact that it hasnt reached the ideal temperature. During the weekend the fridge didnt stop beeping, even though it reached the temperature. We tried different things that we found on the internet, but nothing worked. On Monday I decided to contact the customer service, and they told me to turn the breaker off and on again. At the time that they ended my call, the fridge wasnt beeping just yet. As soon as I hang up the beep starts again. I proceed to call the customer service once again and let the representative know all the previous details and she puts me on hold for a brief moment. She then proceeds to give me the number of different companies around me that could service my brand new fridge. When I ask her for the procedure and if it was cover by the manufacturers warranty, she proceeds to tell me that this was not a functioning issue and that the service should be paid by me. I have gone to hundreds of internet pages looking for a solution to my problem, but instead, I found tons of people with my same fridge having the same issue as me. Frigidaire sells faulty products that they dont even back up. Please dont make the same mistake I did. Purchase another brand. This website rates them 4+ stars, but these reviews must have been purchased. Im sending back my fridge and getting another brand. I WILL NEVER EVER AGAIN BUY ANY FRIGIDAIRE BRANDED APPLIANCES.

Bought a new French door Refrigerator and have had constant problems with the ice maker. The refrigerator was replaced by Frigidaire and now to find out the replacement was 2 years old and has the same ice maker problem. They call out repair companies that have extremely rude employees and problem cannot get resolved. Never can get the same customer service representative on the phone so have to repeat the same issue over and over.I am considering putting the refrigerator on the front lawn with a big sign on it. This will be the best advertisement. Frigidaire tells me they have a bulletin on the ice maker being bad but can never seem to find a way to correct it. All I want is my ice maker repaired so I do not have to keep buying ice and explaining why to guests. I do not feel with a refrigerator only 3 years old I should be having to write this complaint. If Frigidaire knows they have a problem with these ice makers they should just step up to the plate and make it good.

I have a refrigerator with a freezer on top. I have banged my head on the edge or underneath the freezer door while it was open on several occasions. Last night, I banged my head so hard that I sustained a serious neck injury. I still have a headache and being treated by a doctor. This has never happened to me before with any other refrigerator/freezers. I will get rid of this refrigerator to prevent personal injury from happening again. I didnt want to spend the week leading up to Christmas in pain, but I am. Im very frustrated! I have had two whiplashes from car accidents and this mishap with my freezer door has only compounded the problem.

I purchased a gas Frigidaire oven from Lowes and the electrical panel stopped working after 13 months. Frigidaire gave us a replacement panel but we had to pay $200 for the labor. Prior to the problems with my Frigidaire stove, I also purchased a Frigidaire dishwasher and refrigerator from Lowes internet site. It took one month for delivery of the dishwasher and three months for the delivery of the refrigerator! After 13 months, the electrical panel stopped working on my dishwasher too! Frigidaire supplied another panel but, of course, I had to pay the labor charges of $200 to have it replaced. The stove and dishwasher both have the Frigidaire icon in cursive. Needless to say, one month after the panel was replaced on my dishwasher, it is out again. So I am out the cost of the dishwasher and the repair. I spoke with Lowes customer service department and was told that according to their company policy, I will not get any further assistance from Lowes despite the acknowledgement that Lowes sold me two products that seem to have bad electrical boards. I do not use the self-clean option for my Frigidaire stove in fear that it too will fail again.

My Frigidaire gallery dishwasher Model # PLD4375RFC3 Has a control board that failed twice already & on the third time it caught on fire! It is extremely dangerous and from my recent research it seems like it is really a common issue with Frigidaire Dishwasher. Be Aware!

It first started with the stove. After three months of using it, the cooktop began to pit. It appeared to be chipping. Never once did I cut on it. A couple of times, I did boil over macaroni. The cooktop was replaced but I did have to pay for the service guy to come and replace it. Then, one of the computer boards in the water/ice dispenser burned up. It began to smoke and stink. I again had to call for service, which I had to pay a service call for and a labor charge. When the new board was put in, it was a bad board and it burned the second board. This adventure was around $400.00 by the time I was through, for something that was under warranty. Now, my microwave isnt heating and the magnetron is under warranty for ten years. However, by the time I finish paying a diagnostic fee and a labor charge, I really paid for the part! I will never buy Frigidaire products again!

I recently ordered two replacement drawers for my refrigerator directly from Frigidaire. The junky plastic ones they came with broke. At $43 a piece and $11 shipping, I had a hard time buying replacements but I decided to splurge. When the parts came, they were the wrong parts. I looked at the packing slip which said, very clearly, to repackage the items and use the included shipping label to ship them back. If the problem was with the shipper, they would reimburse me for the return shipping. I did exactly as asked and shipped them back. The shipping cost $27.80. After I sent them, I called to let them know and ask how to submit the cost of the shipping for reimbursement. I had paid extra for tracking, as the company had recommended on the shipping form.I waited on hold for almost an hour before I spoke to someone who said that they would not be able to reimburse me for shipping because I needed to call them FIRST. In the 1), 2), 3) list of things to do to make a return, calling them first was never mentioned. I asked to speak to a manager. None were available. This morning, I received this email. From: CustomerService@JennAirReplacementParts.comSent: Friday, December 17, 2021 12:49 AMSubject: Regarding your order#**Hello,I am reaching out to you in regards to your order#**. Our representative informed me that you would like to be refunded for the return shipping cost of the items you received. Unfortunately we cannot refund for more monies than we charged you for, and we are refunding your order in full including original freight charge. Had you reached out to us prior to shipping them back we would have made an arrangement to have the package recovered. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you have any questions please let me know. Thank youMarco **Call Center SupervisorJenn-AirReplacementParts.ComI responded and asked if they could at least attempt make it right by sending me the correct parts as Im currently stuck with two broken door baskets AND $27.80 to send the wrong ones back. They have declined to reply. I am a lifelong Frigidaire customer but no longer. I am appalled and disgusted that they would split hairs like this and refuse to even propose a solution. Clearly they dont care a bit about their customer.
