I purchased, unfortunately, the complete upper end Kitchenaid appliance for our kitchen 5 years ago from Home Depot and with the extended warranty with Asurion. Within 2 years the dishwasher had many problems that required several repairs: new computer board, new pump, new door, new seals, new wash arms and more. The self clean for the oven never works at all and never fixed. The microwave often refuse to work at all and must unplug and wait 15 or more minutes to work and never fixed. The worse... the $3500 French door refrigerator freezer has died 4 times. Needs new defective wire system that the fix damaged interior parts that were never covered or fixed. Next the freezer fans died. Next the ice maker stopped making ice...still waiting for that fix. And now the water will not flow as well. And each time we must shut it down and lose lots of food. Asurion coverage is slow and limited and uses distant repair companies that break things and never follow through for many weeks. Do not buy their coverage. Home Depot never back these awful appliance either. And Kitchenaid simply does not care and says sorry its is not their problem. Worse appliance I ever had in over 50 years. Avoid at all costs.

We have been somewhat satisfied with our KitchenAid appliances. However, when our built-in refrigerator started making a loud sound, we went to the KitchenAid website and made an appointment with a service repair company. The service repairman came to our house and thought the noise was caused by a circuit board or the fan. He thought this should fix the problem. Because the refrigerator was not making the sound at the appointment, he could not be conclusive. The estimated cost was $521. We thought we would call KitchenAid and see if there was a better diagnostic tool to determine the noise. KitchenAid told us this was not an authorized technician and that we should set up an appointment with the correct company. They set an appointment. We were frustrated because we had just paid $65 for a service call, and we were going to have to have it serviced again at $99. We wanted our $65 reimbursed. After this, we called the service company and asked why they came out if they were not authorized. They said they should not and that we should contact Whirlpool KitchenAid, who set the appointment to be reimbursed. In the end, after 2 hours of phone time, KitchenAid said the phone rep had made a mistake that this company was qualified/authorized. So in the end, I spent 20 minutes on the phone with a specialist who led me into spending another hour and 40 minutes with customer service reps who tried to undo the specialists recommendation. I am out $65 for a service repair. I will need to spend $99 for another service repair recommendation. KitchenAid stated they gave me bad information but would not provide any written notification or written statement. KitchenAid has assured us that they would make changes within the company to make certain this never happens again. In the end, I do not trust KitchenAid/Whirlpool. I do not trust the Customer Service rep Ashley. Worst, I am stuck with a house full of appliances that I would love to rip out, sadly not because the product does not work, but because when I have a problem, I will have to work with the customer service department. I strongly recommend purchasing another brand.

I am a very dissatisfied customer! I bought a KitchenAid Side-by-Side with Ice Dispenser Refrigerator (Model #KSRV22FVSS04) on 10/22/11 and have had to have 3 service calls within the warranty period (now about to end 1 year later) on the same problem with the ice dispenser. The dispenser chute mechanism is not strong enough to always close and will remain open and not properly dispense ice. When that happens, this allows warm air to get up into the auger mechanism and freeze it up completely, and water flows all over the floor. With the first service call, it was identified that we had been delivered an older model that had a design flaw in the chute mechanism that the company knew about, but didnt fix, and was also missing a part that had to be ordered and replaced in March 2012. We have maintained as per the manual, so any references to any manual maintenance are not applicable to this problem. However, on October 4, 2012, the same problem happened again, and I came home from work to find a leaking mess all over my kitchen floor again! I called their Customer Care for service, but they were unable to get someone right there for 2 days, and I had to take care of the mess to prevent damage to my kitchen walls and floor again! When the service person did come out today, they did not diagnose the problem correctly, and I still have this problem! To make matters worse, I immediately called KitchenAids Customer Care phone (now I understand why they are experiencing high call volumes) and again waited for 15 minutes, only to have to talk with a very rude Selicia who was unwilling to assist me in resolving my ongoing problem. When I asked to talk to her supervisor, Joetta came on the line and continued with the same rude, snobbish, refuse-to-assist-you attitude, almost calling me a liar; and when I requested for the service repair to come back out and fix the problem, she refused. She also refused to forward me to anyone else to enable me to resolve my customer complaint. For over 20 years, I had GE appliances, including a refrigerator with an ice dispenser, and never had any problems. This KitchenAid Refrigerator is my first and will be my last (and I will never buy another appliance that has the name, KitchenAid) because they sell inferior products that dont work as they are advertised, then they refuse to stand behind their products, and they do nothing to ensure good customer service and satisfaction. I will also be telling everyone I know about my horrible KitchenAid Experience and hopefully prevent others from falling victim to KitchenAids poor quality and service.

I purchased in Feb. 2013 a new 27 convection double ovens Model kebs279bss00. Upper oven is very loud, exhaust fan constantly on, and it runs during preheat, cooking and cool down. Lower oven is much quieter. Cool down for a typical 350 oven is 30 minutes of this loud fan. Then it started a vibration noise. Both the convection and the exhaust fans have been replaced. Fan noise is still unacceptable. You cannot carry conversation over dinner! I attempted to contact Kitchen Aid to discuss further and waited on hold for 15 minutes. It was like waiting in outer space as there was no music. I even called back and had the same dead time. Im very unhappy with the product and with customer service accessibility.

Purchased dishwasher in 2011. 1 month after warranty the control panel went. A year later the wheels fell off the top rack and plastic parts ruined the motor. 2 years later we replaced the top rack wheels ourselves as did every other owner based on repair forums. A week ago in 2015 our panel went again. Never ever, ever will purchase a KitchenAid dishwasher again.

Frustrated and disappointed with KitchenAid regarding refrigerator model number KSC23C8EYY03 bought new in October 2014. Purchased refrigerator in October 2014 for residential use. In May 2016, owners observed ice accumulation behind the crisper drawers of the refrigerator. Items in fridge were not being cooled to appropriate temperature and freezer cold but not adequately freezing contents. Not under warranty at that time, owners called a local service company to review situation and a part was replaced.Owner then purchases a warranty, which was enacted in September 2016 when the same issue presented itself. Since then KitchenAid warranty has been called - February 2017, July 2017, October 2017, February 2018 and now April 26, 2018 - all for the same issue. The refrigerator is essentially inoperable during each service request every 2-5 months, resulting in food spoilage and loss of money. Owners are aware of the Lemon Law, however, there is no recognition on KitchenAid Warranty’s part on customer frustration regarding the investment of money into a product that has simply proven 6 times over that it does not work. It wasn’t until speaking with a KitchenAid Warranty supervisor today (April 2018) that owner was informed about the option of filing a food loss claim (again, after dealing with KitchenAid Warranty 5 times since September 2016). We again are having the refrigerator serviced, with the expectation that any repair would prove fruitless, a part will be replaced that won’t get us closer to a Lemon Law review, and resulting in a temporary fix that would need to again be serviced in 3 months time. The service repair technician who has serviced the unit all 6 times is equally frustrated that the solutions given to them by KitchenAid Warranty does not fully resolve the situation.

The brand new, top of the line KitchenAid dishwasher I recently purchased leaked the second time I used it and ruined my hardwood floor. It has been a nightmare dealing with Sears, where it was purchased, their insurance company, and KitchenAid. I have been waiting six weeks so far for KitchenAid to respond to the insurance company. That is a long time to be without a dishwasher! KitchenAid customer service has been useless. All I can say is I will never purchase any otherKitchenAid or Whirlpool product. I guess customer satisfaction is no longer important. I wish I had purchased another Maytag!

KitchenAid Fridge...proud made in America. 3 Failures on ice and water with flooding all over the house in the first 10 months and food thrown out. A whole day of labour to clean up. Thanks to these corrupt manufacturers. What do you test? Sell lemons to your customers. What trust can anyone have with your proud lemons. MADE IN AMERICA...maybe made in China might be a better return for my investment. Another Failure with $1000 dollars of food to be thrown out... This is what I get for $4000 fridge. You are nothing a bunch of monkeys who build these products and cheat your customers on the quality of the product. Come to my house and I will show you KITCHEN AID MANUFACTURERS...damn cowards! All of them should be thrown in prison for selling lemons. Tell these cowards who run KITCHEN AID...it is nothing but a KITCHEN SINK full of wasted money. It is time the government crackdown on crooks like these and they look to be protected. What a bunch of thieves. How many times should a product fail. They should be held accountable and pay for any failure that takes place by their incompetency. I DO NOT Recommend this product at all...

We bought a whole suite of KitchenAid large appliances (from Fergusons) for our new home build. We have been very satisfied with the performance of all - UNTIL the dishwasher tore up. It was still under the factory warranty. We called the issue in and there was a local company (American Appliance) that arrived 3 weeks later to repair. They discovered that the heating element of the dishwasher was broken and needed to be replaced. They ordered the part. They said it should arrive in 7-10 business days. After that amount of time, I called to be told that it was on backorder. They didnt have any clue of when the part would be back in stock. Therefore, we started reaching out to KitchenAid directly. We have spent over 6+ hours trying to reach KitchenAid and to speak to their technical department, parts department, warranty group, and finally complaint group. We have been told multiple things - there was a recall on the part (cant confirm that one), the part was out of stock and would not be in stock until after December 30 (totally unacceptable), and that the part was finally now in stock. We were told on July 8 that the part would go out to us on a truck the next day. Apparently that didnt happen. We have been on the phone with KitchenAid complaints again today for over 1.5 hours (more time) to be told that the part has been ordered but has not been pulled and shipped yet and that it would take another 2-3 weeks for that to happen. We made the choice to buy Kitchenaid (Whirlpool) appliances for our new house because they are American made and felt that they would stand behind their products. We are so dissapointed in how this has been handled. We are going to be without our dishwasher for at least 2+ months (and we are a family of 6 people). Our disappointment comes from both the quality of the part but even more importantly the way we have been treated and the repair handled once it tore up. I would not recommend them today. I would be cautious because if you have issues it is not an easy road to travel! Our warranty has not been very effective up to this point.

Our KitchenAid model KUDD01DSSS stainless steel dishwasher is a double draw
Our KitchenAid model KUDD01DSSS stainless steel dishwasher is a double drawer unit with plastic interior. It is very nice for my wife and I and small loads but probably not as useful for a family. It is a bit noisy and seems to run quite a long time. This is a 2006 model, so perhaps a newer model would be more efficient and address the noise issue. Overall, I have been satisfied with this dishwasher.

With only 23 months of use, two of your KitchenAid products have failed. One, an Architect series refrigerator, quit and we were told the replacement part would not be available until January of 2020 (not typo). They had only 3 rebuilt computer control boards in the country and agreed to send one with a promise to return my bad one. Done. Now my Architect series oven/ microwave unit has been out since January of 2015. The service company they recommended has been out four times replacing parts they suggested and sent to them, with me only paying the service fees, and it still does not work. The tech department says they do not know how to fix it. They say to replace it. I have been offered a replacement for the small sum of $1,800 for a $3,650 unit I was able to use for 2 years and is not repairable now. It has an internal communication problem, code F6E0. Why would I buy another unit from a company that cannot repair what they sell. Take 5 minutes and Google error code F6E0, there are hundreds of complaints about the same code in all Whirlpool and KitchenAid brands and none have been repaired. Every appliance I have is KitchenAid, never will I buy another nor would I ever recommend them. I plan to post this notice everywhere I see KitchenAid or Whirlpool listed. Before anyone buys from Whirlpool or any of their brands, Google this error code first.

We have owned the KERS306BSS range since March of 2013. On balance, we like the design of the range and its features (except the AquaLift cleaning feature which, like others have reported, does not clean well). During this time, we have had five instances of a repetitive problem of the range unexpectedly turning itself completely off. This has happened both while using the range and while it is not in use. KitchenAid FAQ advises customers to turn the power off, wait a minute, and turn the power back on in an effort to reboot the system. After doing this, however, only one of the features (oven or surface units) starts working again. The range has been serviced after each of these instances and works correctly for another few weeks, or maybe a month, and the problem repeats.KitchenAid initially would not refund our money and only offered a replacement unit. When we did not receive delivery confirmation, we attempted to follow up. We were told delivery had been delayed to February. Then, we were told replacement units were not available and given instructions on how to fax in an application for a refund. We told we would receive a confirmation. We did not. We will post our additional progress at resolving this complaint.Overall, our experience with KitchenAid Customer Service personnel has been very poor. Each time you call you get a different person who has a hard time locating your previous calls. The first time we called the Product Exchange Group we were assigned a contact person who said we should call her for any questions. Unfortunately, we could never reach her again and other customer personnel did not seem to know her.

Our stainless steel, French door, KitchenAid refrigerator is a year old. The ice cube maker stopped working, so we had to have a service person come out. The diagnosis is that the ice maker broke, due to ice build-up. The part is under warranty, but the first service charge is $189.00 and they have to come again after the part is ordered. I never even touched them with any sort of cleaner at all! Their customer service experience has been the worst. They keep promising theyll resolve the issue but never follow through. At this point theyre blaming me. Very disappointed in the construction of the product and their customer service. This range (Frigidaire Gallery 30 electric range model# CGEF304DK) was included in our new home purchased last year. The range looks nice but the oven racks repeatedly fall down causing the food and pans to spill out! This problem I was told was due to my neglect. Are they kidding? Steel racks are not long enough to stay in contact with the oven sides! The racks are not distorted or bent they just fall down. This could cause serious flesh burns and or a catastrophic fire if unattended for any short time period. KitchenAid totally abandoned their responsibility in this matter. Also the convection fan failed to operate. This upscale range is not older than 3 years, its a disgrace. We put tin cans in to support the racks when using the oven. Pitifully sad. DONT PURCHASE THEIR PRODUCTS.

Its a beautiful piece of junk! I bought Stainless steel model #KGRA806PSS on January 2006. The first service call was on January 2007; second on January 2008; third on April 2008. Of course, my fourth service call is now past the 5 year warranty. The igniter would click forever and then go out. Three times Ive had the electronic replaced. Oven would preheat, come to temperature then would lose heat and never reheat past 275. I didnt dare use the self-cleaning feature after reading the horror stories of glass shattering or doors locking or burning the electric board out. Anyways, we called KitchenAid and after being told that they never have had complaints about this range, we told them that they should try looking at the complaints registered online. Well, since this would be the fourth service call about the same problem, they would send a service technician out and if its the same problem, they would pro rate a new stove. The service technician just called and said that hes on the way out and did you know that there is a $135 service charge? No, I will not pay the service call, after all Kitchenaid called and set up the call and Im not paying another dime on this $1500 money pit!Buyer beware. KitchenAid is no longer a customer friendly company and they do not stand behind their product. If they resolve this, I will report back but as my husband is on the phone and it doesnt sound promising, you probably will not be hearing anything more on this piece of junk!

Ordered dishwasher (Model # KDFE304DWHO) 3-9-15, Lowes delivered & set up 3-25-15. Dishes not getting clean on any of the settings, scum accumulates behind the door on bottom, stainless steel inside stays wet & there is an odor. Repair man came 8-14-15, said I was using too much soap, told me to put soap in prewash cup only. Same day I called KitchenAid, Ester told me to put 1 dishwashing tablet in the main wash cup only, use a rinsing agent, run my dishwasher thru a clean cycle monthly (where is the clean cycle?) & do not prewash my dishes. Ester told me all about her mother owning the same dishwasher only a SS. I told Ester we have had dishwashers for many years & I have already tried all the troubleshooting that was required many times. I told her I wanted to exchange the dishwasher, this was not an option. She told me if I requested another service call, I would have to pay for it. I believe KitchenAid wants to stall you so your warranty will run out then say sorry.

We purchased a combination oven & microwave/convection oven in 2008, the microwave recently began to not heat food and drinks. We notified KitchenAid and were referred to a local repair who diagnosed the problem and said it would require a new magnetron and control board, with labor the cost would be $650+, we decided the cost of the repair was much less than a new oven and microwave and committed to the repair. Repair was made, microwave now functions/heats food and drinks at a fraction of the previous level. Had repairman return today to diagnose and repair again. He proceeded to do test as dictated by KitchenAids factory tech on the phone with him, fill vessel with 10oz. of water, check temperature, heat for 30 seconds and check again. The difference was +20 degrees hotter which is the lowest level of their benchmark for acceptable being acceptable.Bottom line is it still doesnt heat as it did before the $650+ repair. I then spoke with rep at Kitchenaid for an hour expressing my displeasure and asking for help, their answer’s sorry but its a 10-11 year old appliance and they dont perform as well when theyre that old is the final word from them. My question to her was why didnt anyone mention that before we committed to the repair, she was silent on that. Sooo, I will not advocate KitchenAid as a quality product again much less purchase another of their appliances. I will advise others to look elsewhere when shopping for appliances! I have also filed a dispute with my credit card company in an effort to recover some of the cost we incurred.

I previously had a Fisher Paykel drawer system and while it had some issues, it still cleaned my dishes and I was pretty happy with it. The kitchenaid simply doesnt clean! I have to basically wash everything before putting it in. The repair man suggested using high heat and power scrub. The only thing that did is bake on items to silverware and melt the cheap plastic holders on the upper rack and the ones that arent melted just fall off over and over. So, so, so disappointed! I came to this site to see what others are saying about KitchenAid... it just made me angrier but justified my feelings! I, too, purchased ALL KitchenAid appliances for my renovated kitchen. HUGE MISTAKE! The appliances are less than 2 years old. My refrigerator has been broken for literally 3 months today, after MANY calls to KitchenAid and then Whirlpool - their parent company - I have a repair company coming to replace the CONDENSER! A huge job that takes 5 hours.. that is what I was told. The first time they came, they misdiagnosed so I had to make another appointment. The second trip they told me I needed a part. I make the appointment and have to take the day off of work (they wont do warranty work on Saturdays-- they actually said that) so Im waiting for the 12-3 window of arrival. At 11:45 THAT day I get a call its the wrong part... KitchenAid and Whirlpool has been NO help! I cant even talk about the stove and oven!! It just shuts off in the middle of cooking!!!! But yet the gas keeps blasting! So while I think something is in the oven cooking, waiting for timer... it shut off! I am afraid to even use this oven!! Again, no help, no assistance from KitchenAid. The Rep tells me to reset my breaker when this happens... I have no choice BUT to do that but this is not normal! My stove should not just shut off! And the dishwasher??? Please... more of the same! I will never again buy any KitchenAid or Whirlpool product or any product under the Whirlpool company! Nothing but issues since the day they were installed!I heard great things about GE but I wanted KitchenAid... my HUGE mistake. If only I had the finances to get all new appliances!!

Kitchenaid French Door - I hate to give this one star when it deserves none at all. I paid over $3000 for this lump of useless metal 2 years ago and the repairs have been countless. Fortunately I also purchased a Sears Service contract. It is now on its fifth ice maker and has had fans, sensors and boards replaced. Admittedly all covered by the contract but the inconvenience involved is important. I just called for a service repair which will be in 8 days. When he comes, he will have to order a part and the appointment will be two weeks on from that. In the mean time we have to buy ice. We purchased the Range along with a Fridge, over range Microwave, Dishwashe
We purchased the Range along with a Fridge, over range Microwave, Dishwasher and even a toaster at the same time as we were redoing our kitchen. Right off the bat the fridge, Model KBLS22KVSS1 leaked water. This was traced to a cracked evaporation pan. The repairman said we should just use a glue gun on it. We refused his suggestion since the fridge was only a week old. A new pan was ordered and installed three weeks later. Took the repairman two hours and a lot of grief to replace the pan. No wonder he hoped we would just glue it.With the range, Model YKERS807SS01 we had it go completely dead 1 hour into the first time we tried the self clean feature. Reading about other peoples failures with KitchenAids eager to help service department we will not even bother to try to get any support for an obvious known issue. Having a look at the internet we were provided with numerous incidents describing the same problem. Apparently there is a one time thermal switch attached to the rear wall of the oven that fails to open when the temperature gets too hot and kills the power to the rest of the Range including the door lock. I sourced out the part (75 dollars) at a local Appliance Parts store and installed it. Needless to say with the new part installed, an hour into the self clean cycle it blew again. I am not about to buy a third one. I guess we will never be able to use the self clean feature on this oven. The Dishwasher, Model KUDS40CVSSO had the pump motor go after a year. Cost us 400 dollars for a new one. Service man said that the design was poor and we could expect the pump to fail again. He also noted that our Range had a Keypad/Display that would probably fail as he had replaced several in the last while. More good news.To add insult to injury, the toaster, Model KMT211OB0 gave it up shortly after the dishwasher did. The rack would no longer stay down when the side handle was depressed. We just threw it out and bought a different brand instead and it works just fine. Yeah, Im upset. So is my wife as KitchenAid was her preference for our new kitchen and she wanted our appliances to match. I guess they do to some extent, they are all pieces of crap, aside from the microwave Model YKHMS1850SS-2 that still seems to be fine. Buyer beware, do your research before spending your money. Im doing plenty of that now looking for new appliances and KitchenAid would never even have been a contender had we known what we do now.

After purchasing our KitchenAid French door refrigerator, a grinding noise
After purchasing our KitchenAid French door refrigerator, a grinding noise started coming from the refrigerator within the first couple of months, and there were giant icicles (over 3 wide) hanging down from various parts of the freezer. I would break off the icicles and the next day there would be more. I shot several videos of the problems, and went down to show them to the salesperson where we purchased it. He said that he wasnt sure if they would go through the Kitchen Aid warranty, or the store warranty, but that he would take care if it, order a replacement refrigerator, and call me when it came in.Months passed, and we went into the Christmas season, then New Years, and I was too preoccupied to deal with it. The grinding noise went away, but the ice build-up became so great that it created two problems: On the one hand, it prevented the freezer drawer from closing because there was so much ice behind the drawers--it would break off and fall on the freezer floor, creating a blockage--this has incidentally resulted in our freezer defrosting countless times, and having to throw away endless amounts of food. When that happens, the system stops making ice as well, so theres that. Additionally, the refrigerator warms to about 45 degrees. This has happened more times than I can count, and we ultimately have to get on the ground and scrape all of the ice out with an ice-pick and yardstick. The other issue with the ice is that it prevented the freezer drawers from sliding, so when I pulled one of the drawers forward, the front panel literally pulled off in my hand. So now we have a drawer with no front, on a newish refrigerator. The ice maker makes a tub of ice, then because it must be melting slightly and refreezing, it all forms into one giant ice cube, so the ice dispenser never works either, and I have to chip all of the ice out with an ice-pick.When I had finally had enough, I went down and spoke with the same salesperson (by this time, over a year had passed), and he said that he didnt remember the conversation, and that there was nothing that they could do about it. We called the manager over, and he laughed saying that so much time had passed, of course they couldnt do anything. We have documented proof from the first 60 days (in the form of videos with dates) that this refrigerator is a $3,100 lemon. This refrigerator needs to be recalled.

Five or six years ago I purchased a high end Kitchenaid Dishwasher. Three times it flooded my house including once that triggered a substantial insurance claim. To make up for this Whirlpool Canada offered me a discount on a new machine. I accepted the offer hoping the first machine was just a lemon. With the new machine I purchased the CertifiedCare extended warranty. This past July my dishwasher stopped working. I called in and it took almost a month for a technician to come to look at it. He said he would order parts. Now it is the end of September, almost three months later, and I still do not have a working machine and no one from CertifiedCare or Whirlpool has even given hint that they care about solving the problem. I am married with six kids and need a working dishwasher in my house. Whirlpool needs to step up and do something about this.

I purchased a new KitchenAid dishwasher 1 year ago! Model #KDTE104ESS. It’s a piece of garbage. I was taken by KItchenAid. The dishwasher has tore up 2 times and had to have the repairman. Before it was a year old. It still doesn’t work correctly! It doesn’t clean the dishes. I prewash the dishes before I put them in. I paid almost $1,000.00 for this dishwasher and it doesn’t clean the dishes at all. I have to rewash the dishes by hand. It was a waste of money. I will never buy another Kitchen Aid product. We purchased the dishwasher (plus five other appliances) as we understood they were a quality product. After 30 months of minimal use we woke up to a major leak from our dishwasher thankfully not reaching our finished basement. Call in appliance repairman of high quality and had the the whole pump system replaced. The repairman said it was very common replacement on KitchenAid and it was probably a manufacturing issue. Talked with customer service and was told under no circumstances would KitchenAid stand behind their product as we did not call customer service first for service. Without a paper trail they would do nothing. I hope this will help other consumers make a decision on what products they will choose.

Our 11 month old Kitchen Aid refrigerator was determined unrepairable after 4 service calls and the compressor and evaporator replaced. After numerous calls to the manufacturer and being without a refrigerator for 4 weeks we were told it would be replaced and we would receive a call to schedule. After not hearing back for several days we called and were transferred to the exchange dept where the wait time was 64 minutes. One week later we still have not had a reply from Kitchen Air/Whirlpool but fortunately, Home Depot, where it was purchased resolved the issue to our satisfaction.

Our $9,000 KitchenAid built-in fridge is 10 years old and required $1,500 in repairs for a faulty control board. The original control board is discontinued (my guess is because they found that it was faulty) and it will now cost even more for the repairman to rebuild the current board. I am not sure why this appliance costs so much when there is no noticeable difference between this fridge and our last homes fridge (except for the fact that it is built in) and clearly you are not paying for quality. For this price I expect better quality control and longer lasting products. When we replace this fridge I will definitely buy another brand. Apparently the fridge has had lots of previous maintenance as well. The company told us that they have been out to our house with the previous owners multiple times. Its shocking to me that a $8,0000-$9,000 appliance could require so much maintenance in the first ten years of its life. Dont waste your money - go with a company that is known for high quality, not just high prices.

We did a total kitchen remodel in 2003 and used KitchenAid Architectural Series appliances. Were a household of 2 adults, and we take great care of everything and the refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, microwave and cooktop look like new. The 36 gas cooktop with 4 burners and a grill Model KGCP462KSS0 ignitor went out. We had that part replaced and found that the wiring harness part 8284974 had malfunctioned as well. I called KitchenAid only to find the part is no longer manufactured. They offer no alternate, no help in having a new one manufactured. Bottom line is, the effective life span is 8 years. Replacement is $3000+; the granite is cut for this appliance as well. Moral of the story - never buy another KitchenAid appliance!

Like many others, we bought the KitchenAid based on recommendations from HD and other appliance stores. We spent a bit more to get the high temp wash and power scrub features; basic wash by most products simply does not cut it. After about 2 years the pump started making a racket like a hammer tapping very fast on a metal plate. And...no warranty for the pump. The pump!!! Jeesh. Our first dishwasher from GE lasted 20+ years without touching it. Our second, from JennAir, lasted 6 and that is after I replaced the pump, the door seal, the main filter system and the top rack. The KitchenAid we bought...seems about 2 years. KitchenAid is no better than the worst manufacturers out there. What a joke.

On June 12, 2004 we bought four appliances from your business which at the time totaled $5,200.33. During the first year and beyond we had problems with the fridge with too much cooling on both sides. After numerous calls and service calls to troubleshoot and repair the fridge, Whirlpool agreed to scrap and replace with a similar model on 12/28/05 (see attached). Unfortunately the same problem has now occurred again with the replaced refrigerator. I appreciate that the item is no longer covered by the manufacturer’s guarantee as it was bought/replaced six years ago. However, the Sale of Goods Act 1979 makes it an implied term of the contract that goods be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. As the item has broken down well in advance of its normal life expectancy and has not been misused in any way, we regard the item as being of unsatisfactory quality in respect of its durability. I am, therefore, asking you to repair the item free of charge or to replace it with a similar model/finish, and more importantly one which is working properly. I want either a repair or replacement model (similar) that works well and as advertised. As a result of the problem fridge, we have thrown out hundreds of dollars worth of perished foods over the years.

I have a KitchenAid dishwasher (Model #: KUDP01FLSS6) that has had a repairman work on 15 times. As many have encountered with this particular model, the green blinking light always means that there is no fix. KitchenAid knew exactly what was going on after a flood of complaints began to occur shortly after putting this product on the market. To date, I have had 12 motherboards installed at $100.00 a piece and every other electrical part that is on the unit. Again, I do have a warranty but KitchenAid knew that they have a problem with a large dishwasher group and refuse to address it. The bottom line is this: do not buy KitchenAid products! They do not stand by their products at all.

IN 1953 my parents built a house after I was born. They had a KitchenAid dishwasher that was still working perfectly in that house when they retired to Florida in 1986. I figured that was a good reason to look at KA appliances when I remodeled the kitchen in my current house in 2011. BAD MOVE!! I bought a whole stainless KitchenAid kitchen (warming drawer, cook-top, double built-in convection oven, hood, etc.). Im now looking at the four repair tickets that document the three months it took for them to get the double oven model #KEMS308SSS04 brains working - thankfully covered under warranty as it was within weeks of installation that the troubles began - and thinking I didnt know how good I had it then compared to the dishwasher travails Im still going through!.The dishwasher - Model #KUDS30FXSS1 - has broken down four times. The first time was just after the warranty ran out and we paid for labor when they replaced the controller circuitry. The second was shortly after the first and we paid again for the part to be installed - both times having to wait several days, dishwasher less, for the part to be delivered after the diagnosis. On the third time the control panel went dark, about two months ago, I opened the unit (having seen techs do it four times) and after jiggling the circuit boards and re-seating the plugs it lit up and worked... until we loaded it after dinner last Thursday. Now the control panel is once again dark. Im waiting for some response from Kitchen Aid and Im warning you not to buy Whirlpool corporation stuff as it doesnt dont work and the company doesnt care.

I have had issues with this dishwasher since the beginning. The dishwasher racks are set up poorly and the mechanisms that hold the racks and allow them to slide in and out break often. A service repairman is the one who recommended I get a Kitchen Aid dishwasher and I am now wondering if he does this so that he gets more business. I have read other complaints since googling after having this problem and it appears to be pervasive. Kitchen Aid needs to recall these racks and offer a replacement of a newly-designed rack system. I purchased a Refrigerator/Freezer in 2012 for my cottage from a local dealer. Over the last year Ice has built up in the freezer floor and then there is water leakage. I would get rid of the ice build up and then no leakage for a short time and then it would start all over again. In the meantime the floor and side wall of the kitchen which housed the fridge became damaged. I called the dealer and they tried to give some things to do which did not work. Eventually we got the dealer out and they came with a new valve and installed a P trap drain tube. Apparently Whirlpool have known of this problem and never let any of their consumers know.As we are on an Island it cost us a lot of money to get a repairman out to replace this piece. I called Whirlpool and they did not want to discuss it and dissuade they could have sent me a replacement but would not pay for the cost of the work to replace the valve even though they knew for years that there was a problem with this part. After extinguishing the fire, I called the distributor and was told Whirlpool will replace the stove immediately and we will cover the expense of the installation. Yesterday, I was told that it is probably back-ordered. ** Whirlpool, my house could have burned down if I had not been there and yet seven weeks later, I am still waiting? I purchased a KitchenAid refrigerator just over 1 year ago and have been having issues with the ice maker since about month 10. I just dont understand how consumers are left holding the bad end of the stick with products that are sub-par when we purchase in good faith and even purchase extended warranties. I was asked when I called for service of the same issue for the second time in about a month, if I had called the manufacturer to inquire about the issue. I quickly responded that this is the very reason that I purchased a 3-year extended warranty and that I consider this to be her/the companys job to investigate and find out and not mine. I suggest before anyone purchases a major appliance to do a considerable amount of research to find out the good, the bad, and the ugly about the product. Purchased all new appliances 4 years ago, worst mistake and purchase ever made. Our KitchenAid fridge, oven, dishwasher and microwave were all replaced 4 times. That was by the store we bought them from NOT the actual company as KitchenAid will not replace their defective junk. The fridge we have now was purchased in 2016 and has been repaired 3 times already, currently pending a fourth repair after having to fight with the executive office this morning. Our fridge is making the loudest vibrating noise you can’t stand to stay in our 3600sq ft home. Customer service could get someone out by the 26th! Two weeks away. I called the service company they schedule at and they luckily had a cancellation tomorrow but told me it’s not under warranty. KitchenAid sent over the old fridge they replaced model number and warranty info., which, it would still have been covered. When I called executive management again today they wanted to blame me saying there are so many files. It’s hard to find things. So I had to give Nikisha the work order number her customer service gave me! Then she said, Oh, it was a manual submission. Seriously?! Then I had to read the warranty to her from the book I was given about how the warranty works. Horrible appliances, horrible customer service and I dread tomorrow as every time service comes out it requires a part and parts take 2-4 weeks to receive!

In April, I unfortunately spent $9,000.00 on KitchenAid/Whirlpool appliances. Since then, I have had problems with the refrigerator. 3 service calls! Now it is Christmas Eve and the refrigerator is not cooling. I am having 22 people to dinner on Christmas. The repair man came and told me that it needs a new compressor. To make matters worse... it needs to be ordered. A 6 month old refrigerator should not need a new compressor! Obviously, it is a lemon. Called Customer Service. Apparently, KitchenAid has no customer service. I requested a new refrigerator because I do not want to keep fixing a defective product. What happens when the warranty runs out? Spoke to a CSR and her supervisor. Just kept reciting the script. Under my warranty... the compressor is a replaceable part so I can not get a new refrigerator. I know that the CEO Jeff Fettic wouldnt want the repaired defective refrigerator either! So then I asked KitchenAid to find a compressor and install it so I can host the XMAS dinner. I was told that is not possible. Best they could do was overnight it and since tomorrow is Christmas, the part would not be shipped until Thursday. KitchenAid is not only ruining my Christmas dinner but it sounds like I wont have a working refrigerator for a while. Not even sure if they really are having the part overnighted. Bottom line.... KitchenAid does not care about a customer once you buy their products. No effort on their part, no matter what the circumstances! I am up the creek regarding my Christmas Dinner and they dont give a damn. Additionally, KitchenAid doesnt want to replace the refrigerator because they will get more money for all the parts the defective unit will need in the future. They came out and made some adjustments. Everything seemed ok. In 2014 we noticed the ice would work periodically, but then just started working. The range and microwave have never kept the correct clock time. Then late summer about a month prior to shutting the house down for the season. The freezer just stopped working. Then wishing 14 days the refrigerator stopped working. Being the end of the season, we emptied the appliance. I have called the company that we had purchased the appliances from (which had went bankrupt and was purchased by another vendor). I have yet to receive a call from the vendor. Ice build up, no ice, not holding temp. 5 more house calls, loss of food, missed work then conveniently after the manufacturers Warranty expired Kitchenaid deemed it unrepairable. How convenient. I could have told them that back in March. The only problem is that now I am in extended warranty and they only offer 70% of the value. They would not say why it was unrepairable (the sealed system again which should have a 5 year manufactures warranty). I know this because its the same problem as the first one and the same symptoms on last house call. What else would be unrepairable?? I spent 4 hours on phone trying to get satisfaction but they just said, I can transfer you but it will be same answer. Unbelievable that they would rather lose customers for life than replace what is apparently a Manufacturing issue. You can search for class action lawsuits and find many complaints on the same issue. They simply do not care.... I actually believe they deliberately instructed the repair people what to do to stretch out the time to avoid giving me another replacement or my full purchase price money back. I bought Model KRFF707ESS01 for $3,500. Never had a working unit for more than a few months.

Pretty much everything was covered, ad nauseam, in this blog. New house, new appliances - the repairman was here three times because our $7,000 SXS KitchenAid fridge/freezer (Model: Kss048FTX03) was not cooling. The repairman said the first time he was here that he installed the part that would solve the problem. Well, he will be back in 4-5 days with another part. It seems that the wall between the fridge and the freezer builds up ice that prevents cooling in the refrigerator. At least, that is what I am told. I was also told that he is very frequently called out to repair this issue.I mainly bought this product because we wanted to install custom door overlays to match our cabinets and a large unit. Not a lot is available in Hawaii and we were able to order this from Lowes. We are so sorry we did. Im glad that I purchased extended warranties on all appliances and am real glad that only two of them are KitchenAid! We, too, have lost all our food twice, not to mention the hassle of removing everything together with the thaw out and order process for parts. Should we have a class action here? We shall see. Im glad I found this site. My husband is a litigation lawyer with just such experience, so I may be back in touch with everyone when the next repair fails!

Today I phoned for my 4th service call for this 2 year old KitchenAid dishwasher KUDS30FXSS. It simply doesnt clean the dishes, leaving a food residue on mainly the top rack of dishes. Each time, the serviceman has cleaned out the chopper and pump (beware: there is no removable filter for this model) and it cleans for a few weeks, then we start washing by hand until I can find a time to stay home for another service person to come out to do the same thing. Even though I purchased the 4 year extended warranty, KitchenAid has denied this 4th claim. I have been a loyal KitchenAid customer, and will be replacing this dishwasher with different brand. What a waste of money and resources.

Purchased a KitchenAid dishwasher July, 2011 from ABT model# KUDS30IXBL (manufactured 2010). Beginning January, 2015 it would occasionally drain and shut down, mid wash cycle. I thought I had done something wrong. But it continued and finally did it every time it was used. The dishwasher is only used twice a week. On 4/18/2015 ABT serviced replacing the Electronic Control Panel (under warranty). Service call labor cost $164.00. On 4/8/16 while the dishwasher was in use, loud sounds like fireworks (identified as electrical arcing) came from the dishwasher and clouds of black smoke came from the top of the door, with strong burning plastic choking fumes. We turned the circuit breaker off, to prevent any further risk of damage to the kitchen or house.Called ABT for service and found out since the Electrical Control Panel had already been replaced once there would be a charge of $186.09 for a replacement of the Panel plus $164.00 for the service call/labor cost, plus charges for any other parts needed. We then called a local service company, that we know and trust. Their service call charge is $60.00 and they took the front door off and there was the burnt control panel and the wire harness. The service tech was astonished at the damage. His quote of $450.00 which included replacement of the wire harness and electronic control panel (which we were told the only electronic control panels available were refurbished).Im writing this so others can be aware of the fire hazard this dishwasher is. Very scary! If you have this model you may be better off getting rid of it. Fortunately, we never run our appliance while we are out of the house or while we are sleeping, but there may oQ2thers that do. I never had an appliance do this before and I have had a 4 houses over 47 years.

I purchased this french door refrigerator with a water dispenser inside the refrigerator 6 months ago. The first problem was the gasket around the freezer was not sealing so there was ice buildup in the freezer. The next problem was the door hinge was not installed correctly so the refrigerator doors were not sealing. Now there is water dripping between the 2 doors. Whirlpool purchased KitchenAid & I have heard the KitchenAid quality has since decreased. I believe the product should work. 3 problems with a brand new refrigerator tells me something else will most likely break. Im disgusted that Whirlpool wont just replace this defective refrigerator. If I wanted to take a chance on the refrigerator breaking, I would have bought used.

Thinking Id go all out and buy my last and final refrigerator, I bought the fancy and expensive, and newest KitchenAid. Within four years I have spent over $600 on repairs (nothing covered by warranty). The first week of the Pandemic it again stopped working. I have thrown away over the last four years, THREE complete freezer contents with this refrigerator. The ice maker is positioned above the mother board, and drains onto it, and the repairman who finally came from the Factory said it was a major design flaw. This FIFTH repair was to cost nearly $1600 - and he said he didnt know if that would be all that was wrong. I have called and written my dealer and the parent company. I thankfully have an old KitchenAid in the back hallway, so have an inconvenient, but cold, refrigerator. Youd think when after only 4 years of wear by two people, and repairs requiring half the cost of the refrigerator, that KitchenAid would be more responsive to a long-time customer. I am so disgusted by this experience.

We purchased a new KitchenAid KSBS25TVBL01 Side by Side with ice maker in the door. The design is lousy! The flapper valve is supposed to close after ice is dispensed but it is so poorly designed that it closes weakly. As a result, warm air flows into the ice bin area and starts to melt the ice. It slowly leaks and leaks. Our refrigerator has a wooden panel on the front and water builds up behind the thing. I just took it off today and the wood had swollen so much that I had to gently pound it off. We will call tomorrow and ask for another repairman. Initially we bought this thing because supposedly it was one of the best warranty-wise, but this part of it is junk. We are afraid to use the ice maker so will just shut it off. Based on what I am reading, it looks like the only solution is to dumb the thing and buy another brand. We paid a bunch for this thing and I think have been hosed!

It takes longer to run a cycle and has lower pressure than my previous Inglis model. Items on the top shelf sometimes are not thoroughly cleaned. Saniclean and pro scrub need to be activated to get a thorough cleaning. Normal wash is not adequate. Deep tub, and it has 3 racks, so lots of room to place items. Wish the third rack had an impeller to clean items in it. Stainless steel front with controls on the top of the door hidden. Very nice packaging. Take extended warranty, run the cleaner through once every couple of months to get rid of the scum build up. Clean the internal filter every couple of months also. The Steam venting port damages your wooden cabinets next to the dishwasher. I had to put a plastic liner on the inside of the cabinet (facing the dishwasher) to stop the moisture from damaging the cabinet.

We bought our oven in 2008 and paid about $1500. Immediately noticed that every time wed cook it would smoke furiously. Called the place we bought it from and were shunted back and forth between sales and repair people. Then we noticed that it was getting dirty - like super filthy with thick residue everywhere that could not be scrubbed, so decided to use the self-clean setting. I left the house and returned an hour later and the entire house was covered in smoke. Dog was literally choking, and cat had holed up in the basement. Had to open every door and window to ventilate. Called the place, we bought it and got the same run-around.Were not a wealthy family so this oven has been our ONLY oven since we purchased it and its a daily battle. The door has fallen off, the board has been compromised, the stove top is awful to clean and cant keep an even temperature. Every time we use the oven we end up having to open the doors and windows. Total nightmare. Surprised no one has sued KitchenAid since its apparent theyre aware of these issues. Read the reviews online and realized that this was a thing with KitchenAid ovens in particular.

An unusual problem occurred with my 1999 refrigerator. A screw broke inside one of the back wall brackets that hold the shelves. I called KitchenAid for an authorized factory dealer thinking their experience would know how to resolve the problem. KitchenAid informed me the cost to send someone would be $129 plus parts, and if the tech stated it could not be repaired, they would offer something towards the purchase of a new refrigerator. The tech was not able to get the broken screw out of the bracket. I called KitchenAid in his presence, and they refused to stand by their original statement. The tech called his employer, A&E Service Co. and was told to do the best he could. He claims he inserted another screw near the broken one and put tape across the top and bottom of the bracket to hold it. He said this is a temporary repair that might last 3 months and then I would have to buy a new refrigerator. A&E charged me $166.20. I complained stating that wasnt the quote I received, and the tech was not able to fix the problem. They said they will reimburse me $26. I feel because the refrigerator was not able to be repaired, I should be reimbursed the full amount (A&E Factory Service, 35 Melville Park Rd, Melville, NY 11747, tel.# 800-905-9605). The tech arrived on January 7. I spoke to KitchenAids repair department, customer service, and the sales department stating what I was initially told about partial compensation towards a new refrigerator. Each department refused based on the year of the appliance. This is a very unusual matter. The tech noticed only very light items are placed on the 2 shelves involved. He said he never saw anything like this in all his time as a repair person. He noted it wasnt weight that caused the bracket to separate from the back wall. Am I entitled to a full reimbursement from A&E since they could not fix the refrigerator and I will eventually have to buy a new one? Is KitchenAid responsible in any way?

KitchenAid freestanding induction range model KIRS608bss, purchased new, 4/12/13 3 months later the oven stopped working. I bake a lot so I knew when my baked products were taking 20 minutes longer than normal. I called for service and the first 2 times the tech literally said that all oven temperatures vary, this is to be expected! By the 3 call my oven started blinking message across the stovetop panel. They finally replace the computer system and told me I no longer had a warranty. At this point my range was 4 months old.. This same model although the oven is working the cleaning part is not. I have tried multiple time but the water does not get hot enough or steam long enough to clean the oven. To make matters worse, the front glass panel has so many grease stains in between the two glass panels that Im embarrassed to have people in my kitchen as it appears I have never cleaned the glass.. I was told the only way it can be cleaned is to remove the screws and bolts inside, clean the inside of the panels then replace. The technician also said its a waste of time as those streaks will come back the first time you use your oven and each time you remove the screws the tightness of the door panel loosens and heat will escape..

I purchased a second Kitchenaid microwave KMCS1016GSSo after my first one lasted about 11 years. My custom cabinets were built to fit this microwave and trim kit. I purchased the extended warranty coverage although this model received poor ratings. But it fit perfectly into my cabinets. I specifically asked 2 years ago when purchasing the second unit if anything goes out on microwave would I receive a replacement. I was told “yes, we’ll replace the microwave since we don’t repair countertop models.”About 2 weeks ago the lcd display digits started to burn out. I checked online and found this same model is still being produced. I called Whirlpool who’s the parent company to discuss my options since I had 2 more years on extended warranty. After escalation to 3 levels of supervisors I was told they would only send me the depreciated amount of the microwave. The terms state replace or give cash settlement. But I was told at this time they are not replacing the microwaves. This is very upsetting and breach of what I was told when I purchased the extended warranty because this model fits my cabinet and trim kit.

You cant use any chemical cleaners either so youre looking at a 2-hour cleaning job to maybe get this oven clean. Im shocked that they are still selling ovens with this bogus technology. After running the cycle multiple times some of whats on the bottom comes off after some scrubbing but the sides are still filthy. KitchenAid and Whirlpool need to do a recall and buy all these garbage ovens back from consumers. I paid $2k for my oven and after calling to complain to KitchenAid they had the nerve to tell me a tech could come out but if they decided the oven was working as designed, I would be charged. The last time I talked to a service manager, she refused to pay for the labor, so I called her back three times and told her to mail us the part since it was free and she never called us back. Finally they sent the part. One time they paid for the guy to come and tell us what was wrong but wouldnt pay for him to come back and put the warranty item in!? Our oven latch constantly gets stuck and I have to keep hitting self clean on and off until the stupid thing can unlock itself. Now the latch keeps the door from closing all the way and then the oven will not heat up properly. The one customer service girl asked me if we unplugged the oven and I said no then she proceeded to tell me I had to pay $150 for the service guy to come and look at it. When I asked her why she wanted to know if I had unplugged the oven, she told me, “Well, that resets the computer”. Why wouldnt you tell me to try that first?! Because that worked! Just had the service man leave the house after determining that my 5-year-old built-in KitchenAid fridge was not working because of a malfunction in a now obsolete computer board. Only option is to wait weeks for a refurbished board which may or may not work and for how long, no one knows. Not very much choice as this fridge had custom panels made to match the kitchen cabinetry and the panels will not fit any other fridge. After reading the reviews on this site I see that this is a very common problem. I have always purchased KitchenAid - thought they were reliable and reasonably priced - no more. In 2007, I purchased a KitchenAid refrigerator from Pacific Sales. The refrigerator made funny noises when it ran but I put a piece of tile on the interior metalwork and the noise went away. Seven years later in 2014, an alarm went off inside the control board indicating a problem with the evaporator cooler. As it turns out, KitchenAid or Whirlpool used substandard capacitors in their control boards leading to premature failure. Mind you, this is a $6,000 refrigerator. When I contacted KitchenAid, they informed me that the part was no longer available due to a tsunami in Japan. KitchenAid referred me to an aftermarket control board manufacturer that wanted $800 for the part. They said that they used to have the boards repaired but that was no longer an option. After following the instructions on Steve Jenkins blog, I was able to have the board repaired at Rockstar Computers in Upland, California. Total cost of the repair was $55.

I purchased all new KitchenAid stainless steel appliances in October 2009 from Bad Boy in Whitby. I also purchased the Gold extended warranty. I noticed about a week ago March 24, 2015 that the bottom of the fridge (model: KBRS22KVss1 and S/N KY3628480) has a crack right in the middle coming out from under the deli drawer. I called Bad Boy but of course the extended warranty expired in December 2014. I then checked the warranty in the KitchenAid manual but it expired the same time. I have never in all my 62 years seen or heard of a cracked liner yet in the manual it states it will pay for replacement or repair of the refrigerator/freezer cavity liner if the part cracks due to defective materials or workmanship. Just on the off chance I called KitchenAid....Due to the age of the refrigerator there is no warranty but they can send a serviceman for $89.00 for the first 15 mins. I talked to the parts department to get an idea of that cost and the liner is not a replaceable part but they do have a patch kit. He could not tell me how much that would be or what it consists of as its a service kit and hes not a serviceman. Beware appliances are made to last 5 years only.

We purchased our KitchenAid Microhood KHMS2050SBT in Dec. of 2007. It was installed Jan. of 2008. Until recently, we have enjoyed using this unit. However, two weeks ago, we set the timer (no heat setting) for 40 minutes and in about 25 minutes, I noticed a burning smell. We know the microwave itself was not on. I followed the smell and it was clearly coming from the microwave and getting more smelly by the minute. I did not check the controls read-out, I just quickly opened the door to see what was going on. The interior was full of smoke and the center of the glass tray had turned black. Once the smoke/heat cleared, we found that the center of the glass tray was in fractures, practically a hole. The plastic trivet below had melted onto the bottom of the interior. We want to know why the microwave started up when only the timer was set. I see no other similar complaints about this model and we are just beginning to work it through with an NSI Protection Plus service vendor. It seems to clearly be some sort of malfunction. Initially, the vendor is saying the interior overheated so its not a warranty covered issue. I hope we dont encounter the same stonewalling from KitchenAid as others have for another microwave model. We paid dearly for a brand we assumed was the highest quality, maybe not. Until this is resolved, we have no microwave - bummer!

We bought our house with a 2004 KitchenAid stove. Had no issues with it until the oven wouldn’t heat up. Luckily my fiancé’s dad is an appliance repairman and we replaced the electronic board and it works like new.

Our KitchenAid refrigerator (Refrigerator model KRSF505ESS) did not perform
Our KitchenAid refrigerator (Refrigerator model KRSF505ESS) did not perform in less than a years time. It was still under warranty, but the customer service experience with the Whirpool Corp. has been terrible. Hours on the phone... Appointments made for service were canceled in the headquarters. Never checked with the repair people. It has been almost a week that I have been dealing with the problem... Never want to deal with this company again! The fridge still is not fixed!
