Purchased in 2010 counter depth, bottom freezer 19 cu. ft. in black, model RB195ABBP. Worked fairly well until 2015 in Dec. Some water in the veg/fruit bins and under the drawers as well. I thought a spill but continued as months passed. Next came ice formation in and under veg/fruit bin. I unplugged, thawed and cleaned up. Also increased temperature as directed in troubleshooting section. Not 8 days it happened again as I sit today. Ive leveled as directed as well. I emailed Samsung to no avail. Now the touchpad temp controls dont work!!! Im so done with this fridge. Its now out of warranty and I must start looking for a new fridge. The company needs to be held accountable for their products or get out of the business. Whoever heard of a fridge of 5 years to start having problems! Ive kept refrigerators for 15 or more years!

Stove circuit fire on the new stove. I wrote the post below last year before Thanksgiving. Samsung repaired the unit. Then gave us a partial refund as well. We kept the stove since it was working. Now it is having an electrical problem. We smell wire burning. At this point, Samsung has made good on this stove. But it is disappointing that even after repair there are more issues with the range/oven. We now are looking to buy a new stove and will not by Samsung again.Post from 2017: Dear Samsung support. Tonight my stove went on fire. I have a NE59J7630SS, which we purchased in July of 2015. My wife was cooking and heard a loud pop from behind the instrument panel and then fire and smoke. I turned off the breaker off and opened the back panel. I have a picture attached. Is this something you can fix for us? This should not happen to a new stove like this! It is not longer under warranty. I see this is not just an isolated incident judging from the forums online. Please let me know if you can assist.

DO NOT BUY FROM SAMSUNG. What a horrible piece of crap from a reliability perspective. Love the design and layout but... The icemaker starting leaking water, the fridge is 18 months old and I know it is out of warranty so I called a repairman (a trusted friend). He came to the house and said oh yeah I service Samsungs for this issue all the time, at least 5 or so a week. The icemaker and the auger unit needed to be replaced, $755, WHAT almost half the price I paid for the fridge itself. I looked online and the parts are over $400 at the cheapest place. I called Samsung and they said it is out of warranty and would not do anything to make me happy. I would call this a defect if the component is failing in less than 2 years, which according to my buddy he sees all of the time but what does Samsung care they are making a killing on repair parts on fridges that are less than 2 years old. I will never buy another product from this company and I suggest you dont either, complete junk.

We have owned this unit (Samsung rf266aers refrigerator) for six months and it has issues with the water dispenser leaking. Samsung is willing to buy it back, less taxes, and send me a check. However, they want the serial number sticker and they want me to cut the power cord. After speaking to them a few times, I cant trust them. I need to know that this will be refunded before I buy a new one. Does anyone have the office of the presidents number?

It is obvious that Samsung fridges have critical design problems. Those of us foolish enough to buy one know futile and frustrating it is to do with this company. The thing is now to spread the word to others so they dont make the same mistake. I posted an ad for the fridge in Craigslist under the title Samsung Sucks. I know it wont sell, but its a pretty effective way of spreading the word about this company and maybe, with any luck, it will cost them a few sales.

I purchased this model in May of 2016. For the past 6 months it randomly works. The screen flashes 777s sometimes, sometimes nothing at all and currently has completely stopped working altogether and the screen shows C-FO. It was an expensive microwave purchased with 2 other black stainless Samsung products, one being a $2500 refrigerator that has quit producing ice. Ive contacted Samsung and they will not stand behind their products. Very dissatisfied and will never recommend any of their products.

My wife and I bought the beautiful new dishwasher and from day one using it the machine doesn’t wash our dishes. If I could give this dishwasher a negative rating I would. It doesn’t deserve a 1 star. We’ve had 3 service calls where techs can’t find anything wrong with it once they run their diagnosis. The tech have given us advice on different types of washing cycles or soap to use and our dishes continue to come out dirty. We’ve even been hand washing prior to putting them in and still come out filthy. Samsung has been horrible to deal with as they just continue to say there is nothing more they can do for us at this time even though they understand it’s not washing. I would never purchase from them again as they do not stand behind their products. I’m not asking for much. Just a dishwasher that washes the dishes. Service ticket number # **.

Just bought my 8k q900 TS qled tv. I was a bit afraid as the 8k models are very expansive but this t.v is very perfect. Bright colours, very thhin tv for the qled technologies. Edgeless. Gaming mode is really the favourite for me because I wanted the g9 odyssey but samsung tooked from the market and I wanted a new good quality screen perfect black colours and gaming mode for the 122hz. With this tv I am enjoying really good my games and my wife watch her preferred movie at any time trying to see any error on the image quality as fab of the OLED TV's but finally said "this TV is so perfect she even used without glass and said was clear. So far Samsung is the best tv producer for the 2020 and now I dont need to find my Samsung I just need to touch the tv and its done. I am not rich or anything and this tv is very expansive for me but its value the money with the quality and amazing future we got. No screen burn, good black levels, very thin, amazing future . I advice this t.v to anyone who can afford it. It's a 0 risk

On October 1, 2014 my daughter and I purchased a Samsung Dishwasher from Home Depot (Nanuet, NY) along with a 5 year extended warranty and installation. The installers took almost 3 hours to install, and just before leaving, told us that there is a slight leak under the sink - the leak was the dishwasher. This was a housewarming gift for my son. The dishwasher shuts off before completing cycle, continues to leak. He has gone personally on 3 occasions into Home Depot who absolutely refuse to help, says it is Samsungs problem. He has spoken with Samsung who refuse to replace and is surprised that Home Depot has brushed him off as they have. Samsung says they have to come to service a NEW dishwasher 3 times before replacing. They were supposed to arrive today between 9-11, and at 8:55 called to say they would be there 1-3, which meant he had to lose a day at work. When the technician came, he wasnt sure what the problem and spoke very little English, so had difficulty explaining himself - both Samsung and Home Depot continue to ignore the situation.

Freezer compartment leaking water under slide out drawer. Unit approx 1 yr old. Bought extended warranty through Lowes, time of purchase. (Good thing.) Repair people came, said it needed new back panels. Factory installed ones too flimsy. They put in new panels and told me had too much food in freezer. REALLY? So it is now leaking again. Wish I could get rid of this unit!! My older Frigidaire worked MUCH better! Please beware.

We bought a whole new kitchen set, all Samsung. The dishwasher did not work from day 1. It arrives dead on arrival. We were renovating our kitchen so we were not able to install it until about a month and a half after receiving it from the store. It did not work. Lights just flashed on the display and that’s all it did. No one informed us when we bought the set that there was a 30 day replacement clause, Samsung insisted on fixing it and would not exchange it. 4 visits from a tech and a month and a half later the dishwasher is finally fixed. They replaced all boards inside as well as the door switch and wiring harness. Still not working. We paid for a proper working dishwasher and are left with a refurbished unit if they ever get it working. Samsung was not helpful at all. Not willing to stand behind their products even when it arrived with a factory flaw. I would never buy a Samsung product ever again because of this terrible customer service and lack of standing behind their product. I would recommend that no one support this terrible company. You will get burned if you buy from them and have any issues.

Samsung is giving me the royal run-around in trying to: * get a 3rd new replacement refrigerator. I bought a 5-year warranty from Home Depot, where I originally bought this refrigerator on 7/15/13; it arrived damaged out of the box; the 2nd refrigerator, which is sitting in my kitchen, wont make ice and the temp in the fridge doesnt get above 54.6 (so all food has spoiled!)* get my current fridge repaired -- TO NO AVAIL! I have called and spoken with 6 different Samsung reps -- one told me parts were on order from Via Appliance; another said well have to refund your money for the fridge but wont refund my $ for the 5-year warranty (I have to deal w/ Home Depot for that!), and yet another said they couldnt help me -- I have to contact their external affairs dept. but refused to give me a phone number. It seems the ONLY appliance repair company that Samsung has under contract in Northern Virginia is so backed up with Samsung refrigerator repairs from customers that theyre refusing to take new service requests from Samsung. There seem to be so many problems with these refrigerators that appliance repair shops are REFUSING to repair them -- even when NEW and even when THEYRE under contract with Samsung. Unbelievable!!! STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG REFRIGERATORS!!! Theyre not only a piece of junk, their customer service is non-existent!

It would not keep the frig side cool, I called Samsung for a repairman and it took them forever to come and check the frig. So I called a repairman...he came over right away and fixed it for me. He told me that these Samsung refrigerators have this recurring problems, where they ice up and I have to defrost them every month. I even replaced a part that cost me over $50.00 and didnt help and it did not. The same thing keeps happening. Every time I call Samsung they give me the runaround. I also purchased a Samsung washer and now it is starting to give me problems. It will give me a DC code...it means that the load is off set.

Samsung has great TVs... That is all!!!! My refrigerator is a Samsung counter depth freezer drawer on the bottom and meat cheese drawer in the middle. 1. In order to change the water filter you need to turn off the water to the fridge; that means pulling it out of the wall pocket every six months minimum.. Joke.. 2. The veggie storage drawers trap food and mold. 3. It is the cheapest refrigerator by far; drawers in freezer come off track all the time.. 4. Freezer is a bottomless pit. 5. It doesnt fit anything.. Be very aware. The dishwasher rinse aid piece broke and the technician said I have to be more gentle.. How about Ive never broken one in my 50 years of buying dishwashers; they usually have a slide door instead of a cheap piece of plastic..The stove, you lean up against it to put something away and the gas goes on and you dont even realize it.. The clothes washing machine traps hair in the drain of the door; constantly removing debris.. Lastly, the dryer worst lint drawer every, you have to pull it out and pry it apart every time to clean it. Stick with TVs SAMSUNG.. Go for GE Profiles or Whirlpool... Stay away from SAMSUNG!!!

3 year old refrigerator - junked - $1000 to repair leak. We purchased the Samsung French Door Refrigerator in January 2015 and the first refrigerator delivered had to be replaced because the freezer wasnt cooling after it was delivered. A second refrigerator was delivered and installed. Paid $2100. Now, three years old, there was water pooling under the pantry drawer regularly. Called Samsung for recommendations and replaced the water filter (over $50) and reset the ice -maker with no favorable results. We removed the ice-maker and checked it. Requested repair estimates, which totaled over $900 to replace the parts for the leak. After reading so many negative reviews and issues with repairs on this leak (many were unsuccessful and the leaks continued) we decided to cut our losses and replace this piece of junk. I would never buy a Samsung refrigerator again and would highly recommend anyone considering it. Research reviews from other owners.

I have a french door refrigerator, model RF197ACWP, that was purchased 6 years ago. In the past 2 years we have had it worked on for collecting water in the crisper drawers and water and ice on the bottom shelf. We have spent over $600 on repairs and the problem continues. I have read many reviews now with the same issue. Over the past 2 months, through numerous phone calls, I have spent around 4 hours on the phone with Samsung, trying to get some compensation. I have been giving inaccurate information, transferred to the wrong department, hung up on, put on hold and never returned to, been spoken to in a rude way and many other discouraging encounters. It felt as though they were purposefully trying to shake me from pursuing this issue! I have never felt so disrespected by a company. The last thing they told me is that I will be reimbursed part of the cost of the refrigerator, but they have not followed through on any of the steps yet, which they told me would be weeks ago! I am so discouraged by the product and customer service. I guess I will now be looking into signing up for a class action suit or whatever else can be done.

Purchased a Samsung counter depth refrigerator ($3,000!) - biggest mistake of my consumer life! One month after a 1 year warranty ice maker stopped making ice. Once I located a Samsung technician scheduling an appointment was a nightmare. They would only guarantee a date but you had to wait until the morning of that day for them to call and tell you a 3 hour window! Insane! Firs appointment couldnt figure out a problem. Scheduled second appointment they never called or showed. Called next day and they made me wait another 8 days for an appointment. Charged me $326 for parts and labor! Absolute rip off. We bought this refrigerator about 4 years ago. It worked well the first year and the 2nd year onwards we started having problems. Water started leaking from bottom and water gets collected on the drawer base and the vegetable drawer also. The drain plug design is so bad that the its bound to get clogged. The drawer designs are complex and poor that food particles get lodged into the crevices between the various plastic parts and it is very hard to clean and if you try to remove them the plastic parts start to crack. Did not expect this from Samsung products. Poorly designed for cleaning and defrost system is pathetic. Even my grandmother fridge did not have this water leaking problem.

We bought a Samsung dishwasher (Model # DW80K705045) in March 2017 from Lowes, after 15 years with a Bosch. Looking back now we should have done our research. We would have seen all the bad reviews. Christmas Eve the dishwasher went into failure mode. “Leak in System”. Within a few days the dishwasher worked again but 3 days later the same thing happened. It took 12 days for a repairman to come and determine the problem. We were told it would be a huge job that required a full day, the dishwasher motor would have to be rebuilt on my kitchen floor, and no guarantees that the repair would work. This repair will require my husband to take a day off from work. Fast forward to 3/20 and we still do not have the part. According to Lowe’s the part has been in for 2 weeks now and we have not been able to schedule a repair. We are unable to use a different repair company because this is the one Lowe’s contracts out to. The dishwasher can only be run with few dishes and on short cycle. We don’t know when it will go out again. Numerous calls to Lowe’s and Samsung have gone nowhere. Neither company will back up the product. Samsung will not replace the dishwasher until 2 attempts to fix it have been made. Lowes won’t offer a refund because we have to go through Warranty service for the first year of owning the product. The Warranty is through Samsung. Totally disgusted and frustrated.

DW80F600UTS/AA - We have owned this dishwasher for 18 months. We purchased a new home, and the dishwasher was brand new. After six months the delicate light came on. We did our research and called Samsung. They recommended checking the drain hose and house drain as the error is a drain error. There was no issue, so we disassembled the sump where the screen was to inspect. There was very little amount of debris in the sump. We reassembled and the problem went away. Three months later the same problem occurred, and we went through the same scenario. I finally had enough after the fourth time assembling and disassembling the dishwasher and contacted Samsung. All they would offer was to set up a service ticket now and that it was out of warranty. This issue should not be occurring with a dishwasher that is 18 months old. Our refrigerator stopped cooling so we had an authorized repair person in. At first he thought it was repaired but the same problem occurred 3 and 1/2 months later. He returned and determined that the unit was irreparable. Corrosion was occurring because the upper cooling unit couldnt drain during the defrost cycle. The whole back panel freezes up to the point that the circulating fan hits the ice and makes a horrible sound. Samsung was sent pictures by my repairman and are giving me the run around. I paid well over $2000 for this refrigerator and now it is worthless in just over 2 years of usage. My mother-in-law has a refrigerator in her home that she bought 30 years ago that works better. I purchased two Samsung appliances (refrigerator and dishwasher) in Novembe
I purchased two Samsung appliances (refrigerator and dishwasher) in November of 2015 from Home Depot. I spent almost $5000 on appliances (fridge, dish washer and stove). Small rust spots started to appear several months after I bought the appliances in February (on the dishwasher and in March on the refrigerator). The rust spots kept growing and getting worse. I only used stainless steel cleaner on them. I spent 4 weeks trying to resolve this issue with Home Depot in March and then with Samsung warranty department in April with no luck. I am told that this is a cosmetic issue and is not covered under warranty. This rusting appears that at some point in the near future, it will rust entirely through the front panel. This is an issue with the materials used to produce this product. My two main concerns with their warranty clause regarding the rust issue are as follows:1- Stainless steel should not rust to this extent where the surface has actually become pitted and especially within 5 months of coming from the factory warehouse. This amount of rusting and pitting should never happen to a stainless steel item. I was asked does the appliance still work? Yes? Then it is cosmetic. 2- Stainless steel should not be magnetic. The steel used on these appliances are most likely a ferritic steel that has a high concentration of IRON which would also explain the RUST issue. A magnet can actually stick to the front of these appliances. They are a cheap grade steel. They do not disclose the type of steel used on their products nor do they disclose that the appliance could start rusting the day after you purchase it and it is not covered under warranty. Samsung should disclose this to their customers. If you are going to build appliances with ferritic steel then you need to call them stainless ferritic steel. At least tell your customers who are spending their hard earned money what they are actually buying. That would be the least that you could do. It is deceiving, and dishonest, and defrauding to the customers.I received no help whatsoever from Samsung after calling and trying to get help on the issue for almost 4 weeks. I was simply told that they do not warranty cosmetic issues. I am extremely disappointed with this product, with samsung as a company, with their response to my issues. I have spent hours to try to resolve the issues with little response other than rust is cosmetic and not covered under warranty. They take no responsibility for selling you a cheap rusty piece of junk.

Ive had the Samsung Chef Collection WaterWall Dishwasher for less than 1 year. When the new appliance suite (range, fridge, microwave, & dishwasher) were to be installed, the dishwasher did not work on day 1. They said it was electrical & ordered a new one. A few weeks later the new one was put in. I swear to God you need to wash the dishes before you put them in to be washed. I found out later that there is no heater in the unit to keep the water to temperature. The repair man told me to run the hot water in my sink before turning on the dishwasher, that may help. I purchased a Samsung dishwasher 18 months ago. I have had issues almost since I purchased it. You turn it on and it runs about 15 seconds and then quits. I use to be able to start it three times and then it would run a complete cycle. Now it doesnt work at all. It cost over $600 and it was even purchased during Black Friday so it was a great deal, yeah right! Customer service is absolutely no help, all they offer to do is sell you an extended warranty. This is an ongoing issue, it should be a recall. Seems like this should have been fixed, I will never buy Samsung again. I also work at Home Depot so guess what... I will make sure I share my experience with customers, since Im in the appliance area. Karma...

The freezer side of my side by side refrigerator/freezer started making a really weird electronic vibration-like noise. I finally emptied my ice maker and the shelving and saw that the ventilation vents in the back of the freezer were frozen shut. I imagine that the interior of the fan area was also frozen, so I had to empty the freezer and unplug the refrigerator and let the freezer side thaw to room temp so that the vents would thaw and allow the fan blades to turn without obstruction. I did not have the energy saver mode on. The ice in the ice makers was snow and the snow had drifted outside the container box and down the back of the ice maker as well. I lost a whole day thawing the freezer and cleaning up melting ice. I am hoping that the thaw process will mean that there is no permanent damage to my 1.5 yr old unit, but a new unit like this should not be causing me issues like this. I had my old fridge for 25 years with no issues like this one.

4 years ago we bought a Samsung French door fridge from the local Best Buy store. This summer the fridge started making loud noises like a fan rubbing at speed. Turns out it was due to ice build up on the back wall of the fridge compartment. We moved the contents to the 20 year old Amana fridge in the garage and defrosted the Samsung for the weekend. less than a week later it was all iced up again. Since Best Buy requires all our personal information just to talk to someone about how much it will cost to have a tech come out and service the fridge, we contacted a local repair shop and they said its a known problem and that the Samsung repair doesnt work so they were reluctant to even schedule a tech.A week later the water dispenser button broke and while trying to fix that we noticed the 800 number for Samsung. I called them and a very pleasant fellow after reviewing the photos I sent issued a one time free repair service. #**. 24 hours later they call to say there are no available service providers within a hundred miles. They suggest I call Samsung appliance service who tell me since its not the ice maker they wont repair it and I should just call a repair service on my own dime.So I have a Samsung fridge that ices up and is causing food to spoil. Up to a quart of water collects under the Cool Select Pantry tray, that is also cracked. A broken water dispenser and an all-round piece of junk for a fridge backed up buy a we dont give a darn manufacturer. Wish we had read the reviews before we bought this because like so many others I will NEVER recommend a Samsung appliance. Bad design and worse service. The Samsung experience.

Purchased fridge new in 2015. Beginning in October of 2018 we came home to find the freezer was not staying cool and all the items in the freezer had thawed. Contacted a local company to come out and look which was very hard since no company wants to work on Samsung appliances. They found it was a seal system failure and quoted me $1093.00 to fix the issue I paid the man $100 for the service call. The repairman looked in the manual and found it was under warranty. I contacted Samsung and scheduled service. I waited a week and never got a phone call back to schedule a repairman to come out and look. I called back and was told the request ticket had been dropped and I would have to start over.So I again had to wait 24-48 hours for a call back and email receipt showing proof of purchase and invoice from company stating it was the sealed system failure. I waited yet again for a return phone call and had to call them 72 hours later. They requested one of their warranty technicians needs to come out and diagnose the issue before they took liability and could schedule warranty repairs and I would be responsible to pay the $99 diagnosing fee. I told them I would not pay that again. I had already paid a company to diagnose. Finally after having to be hateful and argumentative they found a company to come out and do repairs. They called me and requested someone to be at the house a week later between the hours of 8am-5pm. I paid someone to be at my house since I had to work. The repairman called me that morning and said he would be at my home between 1-3pm. The person waited at my house and the repairman never showed. When I got home and found out no one had came I called Samsung and they contacted the company. The company said they had sent a repairman out but no one answered the door. Which was a lie. I requested them to send someone out again and was told in order to do that I had to start the entire process over and get a new ticket number. At 6:30 pm an appliance repairman showed up at my house and said he was there to look at my fridge I asked him if he had came earlier and he said no. He was ran behind. So that company lied. The man was very curious when my warranty was up and kept saying I only had 4 months left. He connected the freezer to a system and added Freon to it. He started packing up his equipment and said he was finished. I said, You didn’t fix the problem. It has to have a leak if the Freon leaked out previously. He had no answers and left. I contacted Samsung again and told them the issue, how their repair company only put a band-aid on an issue and never replaced the parts or fixed the problem. Again I had to go through all the hoops only to not get a phone call back. I called them today and was told the reason I was not getting a phone call back is because they do not have a repair company who works under their warranty that can replace a seal system in this fridge. That I would have to find a company willing to fix it, pay them myself and they would issue a refund for my expenses to get it repaired. I asked for that in writing and they refused. I also was told I would be getting a refund for all the food lost but have yet to hear about that either. Do not buy from Samsung. Horrible company. Horrible product.

I purchased this beautiful refrigerator RF4287HA. After 13 months, an error code showed up on the display. I called Samsung and they sent out a repair service. When this particular one was made, the assembly line forgot to put the protective plastic cover over one of the sensors which allowed the sensor to drop down and be cut off by the smaller plastic drawer in the freezer. Repairman said we should get our money back for the service repair since this was a defect when this one was made (even though it was about 5 weeks over the 1-year warranty).Basically, somebody did not do their job when our refrigerator was made. After 4 calls to Samsung, they told us to send a statement from the repairman and they would refund our service call fee. After 2 months, a message was left that it was not going to be refunded. I talked with the service rep and he said, Sorry, its not going to happen. I assured him that I would make sure everyone I come in contact with would know what kind of company Samsung is. Buyer beware.

On 8/29/16 we purchased the 25 cu ft French Door with External Water & Ice Dispenser, Model Number: RF263BEAESG/AA Refrigerator in the Black Stainless finish. Delivered 9/3/16. We purchased this high end very pricey fridge, a high end matching gas range and dishwasher so we spent a pretty decent amount of money. The set was ordered from a local appliance store and was NOT a scratch & dent product. While from a distance the fridge looks fantastic, dont look too close. Under the factory packaging (plastic protective packaging & cardboard was not damaged at all) there were numerous scratches and a small dent in the upper left door. I would expect a new expensive appliance such as this would not arrive in this condition. The appliance store is closing and unable to order a new refrigerator or even just a new door. I dont need an entire new fridge, just an undamaged door.Samsung feels it is our problem and refused to do anything about it. While waiting on hold the recorded message spoke of their commitment to customer service. Well we didnt get that, in fact just the opposite. Interesting is that we really like Samsung and have always promoted their products. This is the first issue weve had and they failed us. I would not recommend this product due to how fragile it seems to be and Samsung will not make it right. I have a beautiful new kitchen with very nice high end Samsung appliances, except for the scratched and dented fridge. Is this really what I waited for all these years? Extremely disappointed. How hard would it be to replace my door? Any other appliance store would have sent it back to Samsung and requested a replacement from Samsung. Why cant Samsung just do that for me?Thanks alot Samsung. Also, I submitted this same review on Samsungs site and guess what? They wont post it.

I would like to report a flaw in the design of the French Door refrigerator
I would like to report a flaw in the design of the French Door refrigerator with bottom freezer drawer-model number RF260BEAESP/AA. The ice maker allows ice to exit the rear of the unit when the freezer drawer is pulled open for removal of frozen food or for ice removal. The ice then is deposited on the freezer floor. This not only wastes ice, it creates a collection of ice cubes which eventually inhibit the secure closing of the freezer drawer. Eventually, the incomplete seal of the closure allows frost to build up on the contents of the freezer. I would hope that Samsung redesigns the ice maker and its location within the freezer drawer.

We bought this refrigerator 5 years ago and had the first problem within a month. The icemaker refused to make crushed ice. The part was replaced. Six months later and the plastic circle on the back of the ice bucket cracked and we had to get another one. Then we had the leak under the deli tray that others have complained about. The water refroze under the tray and made it impossible to open the tray. We had to take everything out and thaw the water lines. Then we had to buy another ice bucket and another and another. Now the ice maker has decided to only dispense cubed ice - no water or crushed ice. Needless to say, this will not be my next refrigerator.

On February 4, 2017 we visited P.C. Richard and Son and we replaced all of our kitchen appliances with brand new Samsung appliances. In July while I was cleaning the glass cooktop on the range, which we purchased for $800, I noticed it was cracked. The crack appears to have started on the Rapid Boil burner and extended in all four directions to the edges of the top. I immediately contacted Samsung support, fully expecting that the damage would be repaired as the range was under warranty. With just two of us in the home, the range is lightly used and well cared for.The customer service agent asked that I send in pictures which I did that afternoon. I received a call from Samsung support looking for the photographs 3 days later – at that point I was told that the pictures would be reviewed and that they would get back to me. Three days later, I received a call from Williston TV and Radio Repair to arrange a time to come out to look at the stove. I expected that Samsung’s agent would be coming to repair the stove, however, when the representative arrived he took more pictures and told me to expect to hear back from Samsung in a few days.A few days went by and I was contacted by Williston and told that Samsung deemed the damage to be physical and as a result would not be covered under the warranty. I asked what the definition of physical damage entailed, and the definition I was provided was basically everything under the sun – cleaning solutions, inappropriate cookware, abuse, etc. In fact it seems that the definition is setup to protect Samsung even in the event of defect.Still in shock, I started to research to see if others experienced the same issue and I was surprised to find many complaints posted to sites online all had a similar story. I’ve attached some of the complaints along with our receipt to this letter. After finding that other consumers had a similar experience, I contacted Samsung to ask for a second opinion, I was told that would not possible so I asked to speak to a supervisor who told me that he would put in a work order for another opinion.Three days later I received a call back from Williston to setup a repair call – I explained that I was looking for a second opinion and was told by the representative that they were the only local Samsung agent and there would be no second opinions. Exasperated I inquired as to the cost to repair the cooktop thinking that a couple of hundred dollars out of pocket would be worth putting an end to this issue. I was informed that the cost to repair the range would be $400 - which is half the cost of range. Even if I pay for the repair, I have no guarantee that the replacement top would not have the same problem because I am convinced that product is defective. My husband and I have used glass cooktops since the 1980s and have never had a problem. The cookware we use has not changed, how we cook and care for the cooktop including cleaning fluids we use have not changed – and yet within 6 months this cooktop is completely ruined and is unusable and here we are in August and we can only cook using the oven and our microwave. I believe that Samsung has an obligation to stand behind its product and the warranty. I expect Samsung to fix the stove top or replace the range.

The ice maker has broken twice in two years resulting in thousands of dollars in damages to my widowed mothers floor. Bought it at HH Gregg in Charlotte. The first time the ice maker broke was two weeks after the 1 year warranty expired. Called HH Gregg and they didnt care. Do not buy the new fancy multi-door with fancy lights refrigerators. We purchased a Samsung RF197ACBP French Door Refrigerator from Best Buy in August 2013 after considerable research. We bought it because it was one of the rare 19 models that would fit into our cabinet-depth space, and because of what seemed like a good general reputation. Wish wed checked here! The door handles of this black refrigerator have had paint scratching off since the beginning. Best Buy replaced them the first week, but theyve continued to scratch and ding. A week ago, we couldnt open the left vegetable drawer. Discovered it had become stuck in place by a half-inch of solid, clear ice underneath. After eliminating all other possible sources of leakage (and note, we did not install the ice maker, so theres no water being piped to the refrigerator), we discovered a vent hole on the back panel that appears to be dripping small amounts of water. Now weve read how common a problem this is, and of course our fridge is out of warranty, and we are left to deal with it. This is corporate fraud of the most disgusting kind. To think that this expensive, ill-designed piece of junk replaced a 40-year-old Amana that never once failed us makes me despair of American and global business. Well try the self-help options - and maybe a local repair call - but I wont pay a dime for Samsung or Best Buy service.

If we were not in the kitchen however, the story could have been different. Contacted Samsung directly to see if they could help with repairs, or a discount towards a new Samsung microwave. The answer: No, we only warrant our appliances for 1 year. Anything past 1 year is the consumer’s responsibility. So my warning to anyone looking to purchase a Samsung appliance. Have owned my Samsung appliances for 2 years, 6 months. The dishwasher leaks from the front just like described by many others. I have found that when loading the dishwasher the last time before running the cycle, I physically push the front gasket all the way around the opening (just run my finger around it) and it lessens or stops the leaking experience. This of course is not acceptable performance but it may help others until they replace their Samsung Dishwasher with another brand as I will do soon rather than spending any more money on this poor performing product. I will say, I LOVE my other Samsung appliances - Refrigerator, Stove/Oven, and/or Microwave - they all work GREAT and would definitely buy again.

We bought a $2500 digital four-door refrigerator from Samsung (model RM255LASH-XAA; serial number 40504043EP100202-Z) through Lowes four years ago. Not a year later, we had trouble with the ice-maker. Luckily, it’s under warranty and we had a tech out to replace it. Again, the same thing happened a year later. This year, 2012, we noticed a leak underneath which caused a puddle on the floor beneath the refrigerator. It’s out of warranty. We called a technician ($100). After extensive search, we found out that it was the defrosting system. It was not working and we needed a new complete defrosting system ($500) as Samsung didn’t replace the heating part alone. We will manually have to defrost it ourselves in the future, which is ridiculous (back to the stone age). We did not want to put a dime more into such an expensive appliance. This is going to be good. So go to the bathroom, grab a drink, sit down and get comfortable. In January last year, I purchased a Samsung refrigerator, a TV along with a washer and dryer. The total of the purchase was close to $6,000. The refrigerator decided it was not going to dispense water at Thanksgiving. We called and scheduled an appointment for service. We were told it was the panel at the front of the fridge. I took a morning off work and waited for three and half hours only for the tech to turn up and look at the fridge and say it is not the panel. It is the circuit board at the back. They would return a couple of weeks later to replace the circuit board. When the tech was at my house, I asked him to look at my Samsung 55 LED TV. I had a red dot in the middle of the screen. I had called Samsung before and they said that was acceptable. I argued the point, that the TV did not look like it in the store! The tech took one look at the TV and said that is not right and to call and get them to fix it. I called again to Samsung and complained again. I was put through to the executive customer relations. They then said they would fix it! Right! We scheduled a service appointment for the refrigerator and the TV. The service company was a mess and could not get anything handled. After multiple calls to them, a tech arrived at the house the Saturday before Christmas. Three hours later, still working on the fridge, the tech reached the conclusion it was not the front panel, not the circuit board in the back, but a bad ground on the fridge. Then he was about to leave and my wife reminded him about the TV. The TV was removed from the wall and he put a new panel in it and left it on the floor. I said I would hang it up when I get home. Little did I know the TV was not tested. I put the TV on the wall, plugged it in and there was a big blue screen. Nothing! I called Samsung technical support, spoke to a very nice man and said he felt my pain and was amazed at what I have already been through as a customer.I called the service company and the owner then called me back and he said there was nothing he could do. I then explained that I know how the job should have been done and reminded him that techs should test their work before leaving! The conversation was just a bit embarrassing for him. I called Samsung again just after Christmas. (The fridge was working fine at this point.) I spoke to executive customer relations and we were promised a new TV. Great problem solved. Number of days went by again with no call to confirm; I finally called and was put through to executive customer relations. They told me that the approval had been denied. I asked why and why did it take me so long to find out why. I asked them to figure out why one person can say yes and the other say no and no reason why! I pushed and told them to call me back in an hour with an answer. They did and then I asked to speak to a supervisor and they could not and I asked if they could email me to confirm what they were going to do. They wanted to repair the TV. I said no due to the fact we have by this point spent hours on the phone with the TV and the fridge and the service company. They transferred me to another department, appliances. That did not make me happy. My wife filed a complaint with the Better Business. We have their attention now, I thought. They looked at the file and yes, they admitted to me their customer service has a few problems. I laughed and told them to be in my position. If I did this at my job, I would be fired. I also got a call from the guy in charge of repairs at Samsung. We had to let them fix the TV. We are done. We have taken enough time waiting, calling and taking time off work. No one could say here is a new TV. My wife and I decided to buy another TV (Sony) to use for temporary measure while we decided to have the TV repaired. By this time, it was the first part of January. The tech turned up, fixed the TV and it worked. I told him the full story and all he could do was shake his head. Even the company he works for was part of the problem. I then got a call from someone at Samsung asking if the TV was fixed and I spoke to a man late in the evening and explained that no customer should be put through the circus of what we have. He agreed on every point I made and was truly embarrassed that this had been such a nightmare.I know I have missed parts out on this like the multiple dropped calls and the fact that we never got a work order receipt for the work carried out by the service company! They did send us a $50 gift card at Best Buy for our troubles. We added up that it has cost us, a couple of days off work not to mention the hours on the phone to no avail. It is not the end. Now, it is the end of January and guess what! Yes, the fridge will not dispense the ice. I called again and asked for executive customer relations. I called on Thursday last week. I explained the previous repair and what a problem it was and they were going to call me within 48 hours. They were meant to call me and yes, that did not happen. I called again on Monday and stated I want a new fridge and to call me back with an answer. Forgot to mention 48 hours! Today, they called my wife and wanted to schedule a service on the fridge. So yet again, more time off work and more time wasted on the phone. Our next step is not going to be good. The senior staff at Samsung need to put down the crayons, stop crying and let go of the sippy cup, wipe their face off and get down to following up with customers. If they had to deal with this mess like I have, they would think a lot differently. Follow up is key.My company is one of the largest car manufactures in the world and it puts the customer first. We aim to make all our customers happy and brand loyalty is a must. Samsung, wake up and deal with customers in the right way. Executive customer relations is a joke. Just call it Piss Poor customer service. From basic telephone skills, dealing with one person, not running the customer around from person to person. Follow up, tech training, the list can go on. I will never buy another Samsung product in my life. Not even if you paid me.

Two years ago we remodeled our kitchen. The new Samsung over the stove microwave matches the new Samsung stove and has some nice features and I do like it, but it is starting to make a grinding noise. It seems to have caught something from its big brother, the stove. This stove has all the bells & whistles..Looks like a cooks delight... Thats a disguise. The stove really sucks. It cooks everything to hot and the smooth top is a ** to clean compared to my old Whirlpool smooth top. The top burners on the Samsung take eons to come up, and when they do it mimics Kilauea. It will not do a simmer but slow boils. I end up cooking everything on the small burner rings, including big pots. I had to drop the oven temperature down 25 degrees to get the right results. I called the Samsung repair service. The guy told me there is nothing wrong with the stove. He must be a Democrat.Recently, when I use the oven, the convection fan started making noise... It is now making a racket. I checked with an appliance guy and he said that he has seen Samsung stove fans junk out before and eventually seize on a regular basis... the cost to replace the fan assembly would be about $300-$375 bucks. I went on the Internet and found videos on how-to replace the fan. I found an appliance parts website. My husband looked at the YouTube videos and is going to fix the stove himself. Never a Samsung product again. I understand their TVs are not very good either.

I am not the type to write reviews and complain about products but Samsung has gone beyond my limits with bad products and customer service. I replaced my kitchen appliances with Samsung stainless appliances. My microwave broke and I repaired it once, it was out of warranty and I replaced (less than 2 years old). My oven was heating correctly and now wont heat at all. I looked up the code to troubleshoot (E08) and found it was a common problem with Samsung oven. I called Samsung and was on the phone for 2 hours with no assistance. I contacted Lowes and they were not helpful either. I have an oven that doesnt work- Samsung and Lowes have offered no assistance. I think Samsung believes in purchasing another one. I do not feel like they made a quality product or help consumers to correct issues that were at fault with manufacturer. Very displeased with entire situation, it also takes a lot of time to call and be on hold for hours. I will never purchase Samsung product again.

Do not buy their products, today they are of very poor quality and this company does not honor the guarantee of any of its products. I have many of their products (refrigerator, TV, telephones, tablets, washing machine, etc. I used to be this brand name fan until their products begun to break and the company do not honor the warranties). I got rid of the phones a couple of years ago due to software issues. I have been able to return the televisions thanks to the return policy of some stores, the refrigerator has problems with the ice maker and no matter how many people complain, they do not change the ice maker, nor do they repair it and they do not stop putting that problematic ice maker in the new equipments (if you make some research the company has been sued for the ice maker they put on the refrigerators), they dont care about customers once they have bought their products. If their products were good, you wouldnt have to worry about good customer service, but thats not the case. Their current products from about 5 years ago until now are of very poor quality, my washing machine (2 years old) has rusted all the edge where the bleach is poured and recently the motor broke and guess what? Precisely the engine has a 10-year warranty, at least on paper, but not really, they do not guarantee what was promised. First because of COVID-19 they did not have the staff to go to my house to diagnose the washing machine, that today they make this appliances with so much technology that the only thing they do not do is talk, but this machine shows you a code of the problem it has, this company do not care that the washing machine will show a code that means the engine is broken, they want a technician to diagnose it, a technician who they dont have, so they forced me to pay another company to have a technician come to diagnose the washer machine, a diagnosis that cost me $89.00.I sent them the invoice and they didn’t repair the engine anyway. They say they only pay for the part, not the labor, that I have to pay for the repair and send them the receipt for them to reimburse me for the cost of the part. If they warranty, the part they should send me the motor so I will take care of the labor with any company. They have not reimbursed me the $89.00 that they made me spend on diagnostic, although the washing machine said that the motor was broken and am I going to believe that they are going to reimburse me a part (motor) after this? This has been going on for 9 months since August 2020. They are worthless, unreliable, scammers, do not buy their products, any of their products soon or later will have issues and they will not honor the warranty. Do not become one of the victims of this HUGE SCAMMER COMPANY that take your money with warranties promises, and because their products are poor quality you will need the warranty, warranty that they are not willing to fulfill, they will find any excuse for not honor the warranty. Do not say you were not advising!! Be wise, save your money!!

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator on May 1. It has not been operating properly from the very first day. It froze everything in my refrigerator on two occasions and now it maintains a temperature of 55, which is above the safe level. The repair guy did nothing. It makes a very loud noise on the freezer side that can be heard in the whole apartment. I know something is wrong, but when the repair guy came, it was not making the noise and the food was not frozen so I was advised to just turn it off and plug back in because everything was computerized and it was impossible for him to tell what was wrong. Im going to have to junk it and get me a GE (what I had before). I will never buy another Samsung product.

On Apr 2013, we moved to a new house and bought Samsung RF261BEAESR. Thought it is brand name, the quality is good except one screw on the handle always loose, everything was ok. About earlier last year (2014), when I pulled out the deli tray, realized ice build up under deli tray. I cleaned it and thought maybe because it is too cold, did not really pay attention. About few month later, I did cleaning again. This time I found a lot of water under deli tray, I still did not realized it is quality problem. Then few days ago when I started cleaning, I cleaned out about 1 gallon of water from bottom of deli tray. Then I called customer service, they said I already passed 1 year guarantee, they cannot do anything. I told them this happened just few months after I punched, because it already builded up ice. If I did not pull out deli tray, I wont never find water leaking. The customer service just gave me a phone number to call, told me cost at least $399 plus tax. Then later I called back again, same answer. I ask if I can talk to manager, she said she is manager assistant. Help customer service, gave me the same phone number. I told her I cannot believe Samsung has poor quality, before I bought $400 refrigerator, never had any problem. I spend over $1600 on their product, just few months later, already found water leaking. This is unreasonable. I will never buy any Samsung appliance anymore.

This is accurate and fair. Here it goes. I purchased this refrigerator in 2014 from the Home Depot. I also purchased the 5 yr extended warranty (just in case). It all began with them delivering the wrong unit and it also had a hole in the back from a forklift. The delivery company left it in my driveway and drove off and in the process, ran into and wrecked my neighbors picket fence and would not share insurance information for replacement. Yes. HD sent two young men to pick up the fridge without a lift on the back so all of us had to heft this into a high bed truck to remove it. Ended up renting a truck and picking up and installing the new one ourselves. So I have had this refrigerator for 10 months and it stopped cooling in the fridge and the freezer. I want to add that the vegetable storage units do not keep the vegetables for long at all. They go bad after a couple of days. Back to the technicians, 3, yes 3 hours on the computer chat with a (3) tech(s) from Samsung to reset the OFF reading on the digital display. After 3 hours of attempting to reset and do all the bells and whistles to reset, the tech(s) then tell me that the panel is bad and needs a technician to go to the home location and repair it. They said to call Samsung to create a ticket. Ok, also called Asurion who has the warranty. They said they would create a ticket and send me a food loss form. Sent food loss form and then Im told that a reimbursement will not be issued until after the repair? I then call Samsung who tells me that there should be a repair person by Wednesday or Thursday (it is Saturday) and they would create a ticket. Then I called the Home Depot who tells me that if the issue was not solved by Wednesday or Thursday they would send me a check for the fridge or a new one? WTH? Its now Thursday (6 days after fridge quits) and no one knows about the problem or any ticket issued. I snapped. We then start all over. I am then told that it is a simple fix and I would have to pay for the repair? NO, NO, NO. I am then sent to the secondary customer person who then creates ANOTHER repair ticket and tell me that the repair person will call me in about 48 hours or so and cannot even conceivably come until next Tuesday or Wednesday. No we are into 11 days of this issue. So, this Samsung refrigerator has NO repair people in this area and yet they are continuously sold. Now what? I paid over $2,200 (on sale) for this absolute piece of mechanical scrap with the worst customer service ever. NEVER, and I mean NEVER purchase this refrigerator or any Samsung refrigerator, NEVER. Repeat that to yourself.

Ice Maker not working- Refrigerator not staying cold: Already had a tech out to repair the ice maker and the refrigerator and he replaced the ice maker and the back panel on the refrigerator with the two cooling fans. Less than two weeks later and we are experiencing the exact same issues as if nothing had been fixed. On doing research I discovered that this is a known issue and that Samsung used to replace the refrigerators with new ones, but that obviously got too expensive to continue. So now if you are out of warranty you are out of luck! Never buying a Samsung appliance again.

I purchased a brand new refrigerator from Lowes September of 2016. A couple weeks later the ice machine stopped giving ice. I called Samsung and first they told me to reset the ice machine and wait 24 hours. I did that and that didnt work. So I called back and they told me that my 1 year warranty was over and I would have to pay them for service. I DONT KNOW HOW A 1 YEAR WARRANTY CAN EXPIRE IN TWO MONTHS. It is December of 2016 that I am typing this review and I barely purchased my refrigerator in September of 2016. Either Samsung doesnt know how to count or the employees are high on drugs. This is so wrong. So I had to send my receipt to EFAX@sea.samsung.com and wait 24 to 48 hours. Well after a week of waiting I called back and they said that they never received my email. They are just trying to kill time for the warranty to really expire. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING SAMSUNG!!!

Refrigerator was leaking sheets of ice under freezer for months. Samsung kept having us try different things to resolve the problem. I was trying to cooperate but Samsung should have replaced the refrigerator. I was repeatedly pulling out sheets of ice. 2 months after the one-yr warranty expired, we woke up to a flood thru our kitchen wall behind the refrigerator to our dining room. $1200.00 in damages we had to pay. Samsung promised they would honor the warranty because it was a continuing problem. After poor customer service, disorganization, and six months of grief, they then said no they would not even cover $400.00 of the damage. We will never buy another Samsung appliance. Very sad. The refrigerators are faulty and too risky to have in the home.

After paying for months for a new refrigerator, which was over $2,500, which is a lot of money to me, after about a year, it started making a noise. I called Samsung for them to tell me that a service tech would come out, but that was not covered under warranty and I did not buy the extended warranty. Well, after I spent that much money, I didnt think I needed to spend additional amount for an extended warranty. Was I wrong? Another $300 for some 18-year-old kid to just switch out a motor. Here we are 11 months later with the same problem, mainly because the first technician didnt fix it right the first time. It constantly freezes up, and water is under the vegetables bins. What a lemon. People, do your homework and never buy a Samsung refrigerator! This one had the ice and water on the outside and the French doors. I was really upgrading, and I had to make payments. Samsung couldn’t care less!

I purchased a Samsung about 2 years ago. The first year I have several issues with this Refrigerator, but was able to get help on Samsungs helpline. As of today my Samsung-RS265TDP started acting up so again I contacted support, I was having problems with my Refrigerator side not cooling down. Error code, # 5-E & 22-E. We spent several hours trying to reset the system as they guided me through the manual. Next day tried to get more help on these issues, but all I ended up with was about 5 long hours of being shuffled around the world while speaking to people who could hardly understand. I finally got to a representative in SC, who thought he could resolve my problems. But again I was transferred to someone else who had no clue, only that they wanted to sell me a $387.00 one time warranty contract. After doing a little research on this machine, I have found several Class action lawsuits are going on. I contacted a local company and did get my problem resolve for a little less money. The Tech I had advised me as to Samsung has sent out bulletins on this and similar Machines. It is just so sad when you spend almost $1800 on a item and find out 2 years later that Samsung was and is aware of these conditions and still manufacturing these refrigerators. It is kinda funny when you purchase an item at first, how salespeople are very helpful. But when you have some problems they are no place to be found. Personally I thought Samsung was a quality product, but after this ordeal I would not or advise anyone to purchase any of Samsungs Refrigerators. Anyone who has had same issues should do some research online, maybe the big Samsung would try to help people out with all these knowingly faulty problems.

Purchased a Samsung French Door refrigerator from Lowes in 2012. The ice maker stopped working and since we had an extended warranty for two additional years, they sent out a technician. The technician removed the old ice maker and ordered a new one. When the new one came in, the technician shoved, pushed, and tried to force the replacement in place and after 30 minutes, decided it was not the right one so he was to order yet another one. The compressor died the next day and the technician stated that it was an issue that we had to deal with Lowe’s for. Of course, we really had to deal with Samsung. We jumped though all the hurdles and did not get full replacement value so we ordered an LG instead.

Bought 6/24/13, arrival 7/9/13 SS No. W65043BD501879 - the ice maker leaks through water and ice levers. These need to be two separate levers, not on top of each other. On 7/10/14 a new ice maker installed. Today 1/11/15, still leaking. Ice not cubed as requested, pieces. Water runs down door to floor each time levers pushed and even when not in use. I have called three times, not good English, not a script for this problem. I called authorized dealer, he told me how terrible Samsung was but did install new ice maker. Nothing changed. This all started about six months into use of refrigerator. Love the drawer, inside of refrigerator, hate how it works. Will get rid of this first chance. Do not buy Samsung refrigerators.

I did not do any research. Shame on me! Freezes up below crisper drawers. I did as suggested on previous posts - emptied everything, cleaned and removed ice from panel, vents and everything. I used a hair dryer to melt everything faster. I had temp a few degrees lower than recommended, but then I set to the recommendation. Two months later, big ice below the drawers - not in the vents (yet, I would assume). Bottom line, do not spend $2,000 on Samsung products. Unfortunately, I have to condemn the whole company. As someone did post, lets get a class action. There too, the lawyers get all the money and we get small compensation.

A week ago, the refrigerator door handle became dislodged with no way to reattach it. We had to call a service rep to fix. Only he cannot. The screws that bolt unto the draw and handle are unique to the Samsung product. Using a standard bolt that is longer wont work. We purchased all new Samsung kitchen appliances in Nov 2014. Our dishwasher is accumulating mold and the smell was awful. I called Samsung as we have owned plenty of dishwashers (Whirlpool, Frigidaire) and never had this problem. The customer service said that I should be running empty cycles with a special soap once a month. I told them we have run an empty cycle periodically but to have this bad of a smell in such a short amount of time is horrible. I also know someone with a Samsung dishwasher who has the same problem. They told me they would send out a technician but if the technician said it was due to me not following the maintenance guidelines I’d be responsible for the bill. I declined because I know THEIR technician would probably say its my fault. Very disappointed. So now we are stuck with a dishwasher we dont want. We definitely would never buy a Samsung dishwasher again and this horrible customer service would make us think twice about a Samsung anything (We have a lot of Samsung in our home currently). Should have splurged and got the Bosch!! Our model number was DW80F600UTS.

POTENTIAL SAFETY HAZARD: Samsung dw80f600uts Dishwasher - This has been the worst appliance experience ever. Dishwasher worked fine for about the first 18 months. Then, on occasion, it would give an error code (Smart Auto and Heavy would flash). If we stopped and restarted it, it would usually run through the cycle. We are a family of only 2 adults, so we are not hard on it, nor do we run it more than 1 to 2 times per week due to handwashing some dishes (as the dishwasher cycle is VERY LONG... like 3 hours)! This morning the dishwasher stopped and gave error message, I tried to stop and restart. No luck. Then, while I had the door open, it started on its own!! (ID CALL THIS A SAFETY HAZARD). With all the complaints about this unit, I would think that Samsung would do a recall, or an optional recall, so at least those with issues can get unit corrected on Samsungs dime. We are choosing not to pay to have it fixed, as the reviews show that most have had to have fixed multiple times. Would rather buy a different brand than invest more in this faulty model.

I replaced my refrigerator which had served me 27 plus years (it was Whirlpool). I wanted to upgrade, so my son recommended Samsung. It has only been 6 yrs., but the plastic shelves were so brittle on both the refrigerator and freezer. It only took 2 years when these shelves were showing signs of undurability. We are only 3, 65-year-old plus women (sisters) in the household, so we are very careful on our belongings. I am not in the position anymore to buy new ones since I am on fixed income and cant afford to make a big purchase. But now I have to make a loan to buy a new one. When we open the refrigerator and freezer, we get so disgusted. It cost me so much money that it makes me sick to my stomach that this expensive refrigerator is a piece of crap! I will not buy anything Samsung. I’m going to look for Maytag, Whirlpool, or Frigidaire. I dont trust these new companies! I hope Samsung will do something about my problem. I can send them pictures of the shelves.

We bought our 4-door Samsung refrigerator model # RF428 from Sears in Feb 2013. Feb 2014, it started leaking water. It was so bad that we had to have towels around the fridge and change them a couple times a day. Scheduled the repair service, however, the repairman couldnt figure out what the problem was. They called Samsung and they have a problem with these models with the water filter housing unit. He ordered the part and scheduled another service call to install the part a week later. In the meantime, my floor is completely ruined from all the water leakage. It will have to be torn up and completely redone.

Horrible. Bought Samsung fridge, dishwasher and microwave approximately 3 years ago. The freezer had to be repaired last year, out of warranty of course. Now the ice/water dispenser is showing rust on the outside of our pretty white fridge. The microwave and dishwasher are both dead. Error codes on the microwave and the dishwasher just cycles on and off without actually running the wash. Samsung customer service was ZERO help since the appliances are all off of warranty. Our own repairman says they will cost $150- $250 a piece to fix. Appliances should last longer than three years when we invested thousands of dollars in them!! No more Samsung EVER and we will make sure all our family and friends buy Otherwise as well!

We purchased a Samsung French Door Style Refrigerator from our local Lowes about 6 years ago. A few years after we had it, the produce drawers started to get water in them and then started freezing into sheets of ice. It ruined produce, etc and then we couldnt use either of the drawers. It cost us at that time $200 to have it fixed. The repairman told me then that this was a common problem with this refrigerator and it had to do with the design. Just called a repairman today to come and repair my refrigerator with the very same issue. Another $250 repair into this product. Samsung should stand behind these repairs if this a poor design or defective part in this refrigerator. The next time it happens I will give the refrigerator away and never buy a Samsung again nor will I ever recommend this product to anyone.

DO NOT BUY FROM SAMSUNG! I ignored all the bad reviews and now Im writing one. Had our Samsung electric range delivered around 1/15/2016. Cooked dinner the other night and noticed a small chip in the surface of the burner. Called Samsung and the woman said it was not covered by the one year warranty. She claims any chips or cracks in the surface are product damage and whether intentional or unintentional, its not covered. This is a manufacturers defect. Ive been using electric ranges my entire life and never had one crack from normal use. I use this range for 2 months and the surface cracks. No matter how you look at it, this is damage caused by a product defect. Luckily Lowes informed me I can return it. Moving on to another brand and will NEVER buy another Samsung product again.

My 3 year old over-the-range Samsung microwave displayed an -SE- error while beeping several weeks ago. I unplugged/replugged the oven and all was well. It started doing it again today but would not go away this time after I unplugged/replugged. I cleaned the sensor at the top inside center of the oven with a Q-Tip and 91% Isopropyl alcohol and it is working again. Dont know if its a semi-permanent fix or not since it just happened today. Ive enjoyed using this oven and have had no other issues.

We purchased a Samsung French-door refrigerator and have experienced the same problems as many reviews I have read. Loud noises from the back, poor cooling in the refrigerator, and water leaking out from under the drawers in the bottom. We are really not satisfied and now looking to replace our refrigerator.

My Samsung refrigerator is a a few years old and has had the same problems. I had problems with the leak/icing up under the drink pull out tray also. Now, the power went off in our neighborhood and when it came back on, the control panel only shows 86 88 and it doesnt respond to touch. The door has started to rust below the ice dispenser due to moisture from the small catch tray. This is not my first Samsung appliance either. I threw away a washer & dryer set I bought that had multiple problems after one year. I too will not purchase any appliances from Samsung. The TVs seem to be working fine. I have two Samsung flat panels. I replaced all of my appliances with Maytag and eliminated all my problems.
