We purchased the Samsung RF266AASH from Lowes four years ago when we moved into our new house. We are currently on the 4th repair for the same problem. The refrigerator stops getting cold. Yesterday, we find out Lowes will no longer repair Samsung appliances. I will tell everyone I know to stay away from Samsung appliances at all cost. It is just not worth the hassle. I even paid for the extended warranty which was supposed to cover food spoilage but that never happened. Im very disappointed!

We purchased a brand new Samsung dishwasher when we moved into our house in July of 2012. Within 5 months, there were 5 repairs done under warranty. Within a year, at least 5 more. Finally, one repairman told us the issue AND how to repair it. Samsung was no longer willing to cover any repairs as it was off warranty.Jump ahead to 6 years later and I myself have repaired the machine over 40 times. One of the cords that connects the control panel to the rest of the machine is too short so it gets pulled every time a wash is done. After a few cycles, it disconnects. Just have to remove a few screws and reconnect. We paid $700.00 Canadian, brand new. Samsung was not willing to cover more repairs after a year, refused a return, etc. I have documentation regarding my letters to them, as well as too much time spent on hold waiting for help. I finally just gave up. Washes well, I cannot afford another one at this point. Fed up beyond belief and no one was willing to help us.

Read all of the negative reviews on Samsung refrigerators. They all say the same thing.... Ice maker freezing up, water pooling in and under the meat and vegetable bends, water overflow on the floor, filter light will not go off. Dont just read what is said on this site... Go anywhere on the web. You will see nothing but the same negative reports. Samsung will not recall nor fix the problem. Samsung sent out a service memo to the companies who sell their refrigerator in June of 2015 advising them of existing problems with the refrigerator. Lowes sold me a Samsung refrigerator without telling me about the existing problems or the service memo. Samsung will not stand behind their product. The only way we, as consumers, can fight back is to boycott the company and the stores that sell their products. Consumers are fighting back... There is a class action law suit against Samsung over these faulty refrigerators. The stores who continue to sell Samsung products without telling the customer about existing problems should be sued also.

I am highly frustrated generally over the above company name products. Now heres why: I am a big fan of the Samsung brand, my wife is also too. 99% of all our electronics products are all Samsung products. From cell phones to TVs, tablet, microwave etc, etc. You name it. Here are some CAUSES: I have 4 TVs, in my home I bought, all Samsung products. First time my wife TV went bad, you can hear the audio from the TV but no picture. I called Samsung customer service to explain my situation. On several occasions, I got hung up on. I tried and kept fighting till I finally got someone to talk to about the problem. My sorryful appeal was heard and the problem was resolved. Couple of month later again, Im having the same problem with another TV. Called Samsung, again, it was another fight. Finally, I was told it was a software issue and I needed to buy flash drive and download the new version. I insisted not to spend money over some so-called software so they downloaded the new version and mail it out to me. I then uploaded it to the TV but did not solve the problem either. To date, I still have the TV and planning to trash it. I also have a 10.1 Samsung galaxy 4, that is giving me problems. I took it back to Best Buy, and they kept it for two weeks fixing it. To date, I still have the tablet with the same problem. Now, its my microwave. WHAT IS WRONG WITH SAMSUNGS MODERN DAYS PRODUCT? They will go OFF on you right after their warranties. Im frustrated big time over Samsung modern day products.

We purchased a Samsung dishwasher on 10/30/15. It began failing and showing error codes three weeks after its one year warranty expired. Samsung sent techs out three times, twice with no charge and never fixed the fundamental problem; the machine stopped cleaning dishes. Samsung made exceptions and we did not pay a cent for the service visits, but it was utterly impossible to get the company to simply replace the washer as it was just not functioning any longer. Short fused customer service at best and obviously a product line that is inferior. A class action lawsuit ought to be initiated against the company for anyone who bought a dishwasher that has failed in the past 5 years. An abhorrent experience with a dishwasher that was less than 14 months old.

We have had our refrigerator (bottom-freezer) less than a year. Weve had Samsung out 3 times to check out the random very loud noise that it makes. The resulting opinion is that the noise is normal. I am having to endure it as I type this and would encourage anyone to NOT BUY a Samsung appliance. Another thing is the space inside. The shelves are not spaced to hold American-sized food/drink containers, so we have to store them on their sides. From what Ive read, they make fine electronics - TVs, etc. Just dont buy their appliances.

We put the oven, not even a year old on self clean mode and went to bed. There was a huge explosion and the outer glass shattered and blew 20 feet in all directions. Two weeks later we are still getting up glass and also have had small slivers in our feet and hands. There is a company tag inside the oven draw that states it was sold in Feb. 2013. The Model number is: JOVO7DDD201222A and the SN NE595ROABSR. The report transaction number is: **. The last one was: **. They first said it was out of warranty and then the last call they said it was from exterior blows. No service person has inspected the door or the thermostat.

We have an ongoing problem with ice build up under the cooling drawer. We had previously owned a Samsung refrigerator with the same issue, which was due supposedly to a too short heating element at the bottom of the coil. When we purchased our current unit, we were assured that this design problem had been resolved. It has not. I encourage the government to force Samsung to recall these units. We will never purchase another Samsung appliance.

After paying for months for a new refrigerator, which was over $2,500, which is a lot of money to me, after about a year, it started making a noise. I called Samsung for them to tell me that a service tech would come out, but that was not covered under warranty and I did not buy the extended warranty. Well, after I spent that much money, I didnt think I needed to spend additional amount for an extended warranty. Was I wrong? Another $300 for some 18-year-old kid to just switch out a motor. Here we are 11 months later with the same problem, mainly because the first technician didnt fix it right the first time. It constantly freezes up, and water is under the vegetables bins. What a lemon. People, do your homework and never buy a Samsung refrigerator! This one had the ice and water on the outside and the French doors. I was really upgrading, and I had to make payments. Samsung couldn’t care less!

My dishwasher, another model Samsung (they all seem to have similar issues)
My dishwasher, another model Samsung (they all seem to have similar issues), worked great first 6-8 months. Then would shut off and need to be restarted every few loads. Then every load, eventually several times for each load. Dishes were not clean, but covered in tiny particles of crud. Started to smell, with black gunk around front seals. Had to remove spray arms and filter to clean them out which appeared to resolve the multiple starts issue, but even after cleaning the seals, not the dirty wet dog smell. Began pre-washing everything before loading, to the point that a dishwasher was somewhat redundant. Dishes came out dirtier than they went in, requiring rewashing. Handle grips on front of racks began degrading and uprights on racks started breaking off. Within three months the multiple starts per load started again, and quickly reached the point of not running at all. Dismantled again, also cleaning out float on side of machine under metal panel. Took off handle grips which were leaving a sticky residue on anything (including hands) that touched them. Crud stuck under there too. Job took over an hour. A repairman may have done it faster, but the only $ I will resentfully sink into this clunker now is the dump fee.Its not yet two years old, does not clean dishes, is falling apart, and smells disgusting. It needs about an hours work outside the cabinet every few months to clean out minor amounts of well rotted compost that it is incapable of disgorging on its own. And it still smells like a dirty wet dog. I think these machines might be a health hazard in addition to being utterly useless. Will never buy a Samsung appliance again. They should stick to phones.

This Samsung Refrigerator French door, bottom freezer, model # RF217A was purchased through Sears 4 years ago and has not stopped freezing the produce bins since I first received it. I have had Sears service out at least five times to fix it. They have replaced the motherboard, The defrost drain, The ice maker, The EVAP cover, a new probe, It still leaks, and freezes. Buyer beware. Samsung, nor Sears will not replace this obviously defective product, So after 4 years. I have finally given up and will buy a new refrigerator. I had to save the money to afford to purchase a new one, Samsung has won. BUT NEVER AGAIN.

We moved into a new house and decided to replace the appliances. We read the reviews, thank you for the people who do this. It helps, and saw Samsung got terrible reviews on their dishwashers but nothing bad on the particular fridge we were interested in. There were no bad reviews because this fridge was newer and I dont think enough time passed for the problems to emerge. Model number RF28K9380SR, so we went for it, spent a good amount of money on it and months after we bought it (Brand New) we had big problems with the ice maker completely freezing over. We had the SAME parts break 5 times in less than one year. We have requested our money back or a completely new fridge. After weeks on the runaround and being told its under review we have gotten NOOOOO answers. We emailed and faxed in the repair logs. They have sent their own repairmen out and in less than 1 week it broke again. We are, to this exact day, sitting with an ice maker that has completely frozen over and shuts down. Called Samsung for the 6th time in two weeks to be told, its still under review. Not only is this Fridge an absolute waste of money, Samsung is a terrible company and could care less about customers. WE will NEVER EVER again buy a Samsung product. That goes for everything not just appliances.

Purchased new February 2017. Went on vacation in July and when we got home the French door refrigerator was not working and everything in it was ruined. Started calling Samsung for warranty repair. What a freaking nightmare. Finally got a service tech out in September!!! He ordered parts and came back 10 days later, installed new circuit board. Still would not work. Said he would get back with Samsung to authorize replacing compressor. Never called back. We called him and he said Samsung told him not to work on it any more. WTF. Called Samsung. They said they had authorized a different repair service to fix it. Never heard from them.Called Samsung again. They said the new service company was not able to service it? So they would just refund us our money. It is now November 16th. No refrigerator for 3 months. No refund yet. Called again today. Samsung said they would call with refund info in 2-5 days. I think this company should be known as Samdung as that would be more fitting. Three months in Texas with no fridge and 28 miles from closest grocery store. AAAUUUGH.

We bought this condo in October. The first time I tried to use the oven (to cook a turkey) I set the oven temperature to 350. Hours later the turkey was barely cooked. I raised the temperature to about 400 and eventually it cooked. I then bought an oven thermometer and used it the next time I wanted to cook something in the oven. To get to 350 degrees I have to set the temperature to 425. To get to 375 I set it to 450 or so. The indicator light indicates the temperature to which Ive set it but the oven doesnt heat up to where Ive set it. Since the range is out of warranty Samsung wants me to call a service technician. What Ive read about this problem online suggests its either the sensor or thermostat thats at fault. Ive asked for the part number for the sensor and thermostat for my model - and they cant even give me that. I dont want to pay for a service call only to be charged labor and an inflated price for the part since my husband is an electrician and can likely do the repair himself at a much lower cost.By the way, this condo came with a Samsung dishwasher and over-the-range microwave oven. The first time we used the dishwasher it didnt work, so we called the only service tech around who deals with Samsung appliances and $115 later he said the repairs would cost about $360 (he admitted the problem here is quite common with the Samsung dishwashers). For about $400 I bought a new Frigidaire dishwasher and have had no problems since. The Samsung microwave oven works but sometimes the same amount of water heats to hot and sometimes just to very warm when set to the same cooking time.My conclusion: Samsung kitchen appliances are absolutely worthless. Stay away from them!

Now with outsourced service company, USSI, who can be reached for updates through a toll number, not even a toll-free 800 number. Company has not vested interest in Samsung product quality, as they service other brands also. We will be without ice maker for nine days before the hoped-for Monday call from service to schedule a service visit. I bought all my appliances at PC Richard when I purchased my house in 2014. The salesman recommended Samsung. Told me they were the best on the market. I purchased washer, dryer, stove and refrigerator all top of the line Samsung appliances. My dryer had to be repaired 3 times. Finally I replaced it with a Whirlpool. My refrigerator was fixed on 1/10/18, 6/22/18, twice in July and again 9/4/18 when the PC Richard repairman video chatted with a Samsung representative. Again new parts were ordered. Refigerator was repaired 9/14/18. Today 9/21/18 my refrigerator is again not working. I called PC Richard and was told refrigerator cannot be exchanged unless authorized by Samsung and since its a Friday that will not happen until next week if at all; meanwhile I should make another service appointment. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER SAMSUNG PRODUCT AGAIN. I am disgusted and extremely frustrated.

Samsung now wants a sixth service appointment to look into the issue deeper. Samsung warranty support has been a nightmare and I have made no progress with the Executive Relations Team. Additionally, I completed an online forum regarding my experience and nobody has followed up. I cannot afford to take any additional time off work to be present for service calls and need a working fridge. The lack of follow-up and ownership of my issue is concerning. I bought a Samsung SMH9187 microwave in November 2010 and on 9/2/12, it spontaneously beeped and showed the dreaded SE code that so many have written about. I tried to cycle it per the instructions by unplugging the unit with no result. The keypad was dead. I called Samsung service who were less than helpful. They could not find an authorized repairman anywhere nearby and I live in a major metropolitan area. After spending about 4 hours trying to find a local repair person who works on Samsung with no luck, I called Samsung again and pressed very hard for a repairmans name in my area. They finally found only one. He, fortunately, was quite helpful over the phone, but so far away that he would not do the repair. He told me that the part number is DE94-02001C and is available for about $52 at Sears Parts Direct and mentioned that anyone handy with computers could make the repair. I was about to go that route when I found these posts and tried the quick fix of holding the Stop/Clear and Start buttons together - and so far, so good. Meanwhile, I would advise anyone considering a purchase of this unit to be sure there is a Samsung repairman nearby before purchasing. The microwave is clearly not reliable based on the number of keypad failures mentioned here within the first 15-36 months. Planned obsolescence and poor service to boot.

I purchased a Samsung Dishwasher (Model #DW80H9930US) from Tasco, on the ad
I purchased a Samsung Dishwasher (Model #DW80H9930US) from Tasco, on the advice of Tascos salesman. It was installed in November 2014. I had also purchased a 5 year warranty. By June 2015 my dishwasher was no longer working. I went into Tasco who told me I had to contact my warranty provider, who in turn advised that Samsung held the initial warranty for the first year. I contacted Samsung at the beginning of July and was told a technician would call. I never received a call. Two weeks later I contacted them again and as everyone has previously mentioned, the wait times are approximately 30 minutes to speak with someone at the first level customer service. A woman finally booked a date to have a technician come out. I waited all day and got a call from someone to then set up another date that was approximately 3 weeks later. The technician came to my home and I advised him that the soap dispenser was not opening. He attached his computer to my dishwasher and told me the waterfall technology was not working and my motor was defective, which in turn was why the soap was not opening. He advised they would be ordering a new motor and I would get a call within 2 weeks to set up another appt. He also told me off the record this dishwasher consistently breaks down and is not a good buy. I had to remove my baseboard for that visit noting the dishwasher is built in. He never left the name of his company or anything with me. 3 weeks later I still had not heard from anyone. I contacted Samsung again to speak with someone and they told me they would be in touch. I called again 3 days later and after 30 min and going through the story each time -- got disconnected. In August I finally called and was put through to the Executive department because I was told I could not speak to management. I spoke with a Brian representative ** who was extremely rude and just flat out told me that they would not even consider replacing the unit, even noting the issues wrong with it so early on and the reviews I had read. He gave me an email address sdr.seca@samsung.com to send through a complaint as there never seems to be a manager consumers can speak with. I sent an email with my issues on August 12 and then a follow up on August 18th, 2015, and have never received a response from Samsung. I called 2 more times and was still unable to get a technician or call back. In October I went back to Tasco for help and was told I should have contacted them for service. I contacted Tasco who then in turn left me hanging until the end of November. On Thursday, November 26, I received a call from a Peter ** at Samsung and was told the delay of 6 months was because I did not call the technician back to let him know the baseboard had been removed. That the dishwasher was not properly diagnosed and they dont even know what is wrong with it. He was reading very different information than anyone else I had spoken to and basically told me I was lying that it was the motor. He was so rude, condescending, and when I asked for his managers phone number, he gave me a wrong number. At this point I have a dishwasher that has not worked for 5 months and cannot get Samsung to help me at all. At this time, I would like the dishwasher replaced and it is now out of warranty. At this time I do plan to take Samsung and Tasco to small claims court if I have to, noting I have a dishwasher that does not work and now its out of the manufacturers warranty. I will never purchase or recommend a Samsung appliance to anyone and will deter anyone from them. I would not want anyone to have to endure the stress and frustration I have had to deal with and still have not had the problem rectified. So disappointing.

Samsung DW80H9930US Dishwasher. When I bought my dishwasher from Lowes two years ago, this was the Most Expensive one at that moment. After I used it for a while, it stopped working. So, I contacted Samsung and asked for the fix. I paid for it and it fixed. In my second year, one day, when I had the small kid walking around, I suddenly noticed that inside the my dishwasher got the mold so badly. I thought it might be because we used it for a while. After I tried to clean everything including the shelf itself. I thought the clean is done and everything will be good again. However, it seems that the mold is NEVER gone away. We cleaned and cleaned. After we really tired of cleaning the dishwasher, I called the customer service and the Samsung Dishwasher manager, Jack **, told me that that is the Maintenance issue. Then I asked, after I PAY for the maintenance, if the mold will go away. He said he cannot guarantee it because it is always maintenance issues. So basically saying, when we buy a dishwasher from Samsung, we have to ensure that we need to pay Maintenance fee for it or they recommended to open the dishwasher Door after the cycle is done for a hour. I did not know when I bought the dishwasher, I need to wake up at 3 in the morning to open the door for my little doggy in order to let the moisture out. Of course, they never committed that is the design defect of their machine. I am wondering if any of family members who has the dishwasher and has the mold issue should work together to sue the company as the mold is the one of most recognized factors causing Cancer. I bought so many Samsung applications when I bought my very first house but I guess it is the goodbye information to you.

I have a Samsung French Door refrigerator in white and just started noticing what at first looked like food or grime on the front left door at the bottom of the ice maker where it fits into the door. I started cleaning it and couldnt believe it - it was RUST! I have never seen rust on a new refrigerator. I purchased it in Jan 2013 from Pacific Sales. The ice maker drips constantly and the fridge makes a loud buzzing noise sometimes. I wanted to see if anyone else was having this same trouble before I call Samsung, and I can see that a lot of customers have the exact same problems as me. Im not sure what to do at this point because I know its out of warranty now. Another possibly dangerous situation - now that the paint is coming off where the rust is, Ive already shocked myself touching where the bare metal is. I wonder, could I (or my kids) get electrocuted if theres a drop of water on the metal when we touch it? Hummmmmm???

Purchased this dishwasher 2 years ago, nothing but trouble. Doesnt dry properly, the LED control started to fail, now it starts then drains and shuts down. These units do not run past 2 years. Samsung wont help you with anything once out of the 1 year warranty. Nothing but a piece of junk. Just like the other comments these electronics do not stand up. These units should be priced out at $100 rather than $1000. There should be a class action suit placed on this manufacturer for selling poor quality products.

Had some noise. Wasnt terrible. More like a low hum. Water started to pool in the crisper drawers. Found the problem and resolution on YouTube. Time consuming but moderately easy. Many wouldnt be able to be as resourceful. Its a design flaw and Samsung should have recalled. Cheap jerks. Door handles were black. My 4-year-old fridge handles look like Ive dragged them behind my car for miles on a dirt road. Unfortunate. Otherwise, everything else has been awesome.

Ever since I got the Samsung dishwasher its been a complete nightmare. The dishes dont clean well at all. My old dishwasher that is over 15 years old that cleans way better. It sucks completely. I called in and all they did is a reboot. It didnt do nothing at all. It still kept cleaning terribly. Then a couple weeks later it stopped working and start making weird sounds. I put in a request to have them look at it since I was still underneath the one-year warranty and they said I would give a call back in 24 hours. I never heard anything for about 72 hours and when I call back to find out why I have not got a call they said somebody cancelled my order? Wow. I was so pissed off. Ive been waiting this whole time to find out that some rep has cancel my order. Then they told me that I can call the number if Id like but I still have to wait another 24 hours for someone to call me again. Its been a nightmare. I doubt theyre going to do anything because its been already a terrible experience.

My daughter turned on the stove. She then heard a buzzing, a pop, and saw smoke. I told her to turn it off and attempt to unplug it. My husband came home to unplug it and left it as it. I saw a white powder covering the internal glass, tiny pieces of glass on the bottom. The house was filled with a smoky (didnt smell like burning though). All the windows were opened to clear it. I started an online chat with Samsung. They told me to unplug it and wait for their people to come. That was 4 days ago. I have since had 2 chats and 2 phone calls with Samsung. Still nothing has happened. Last I was told that if I did not hear from them in 2-3 days to call back. That would be a week. Customer service has been unhelpful, unknowledgeable and a waste of time.

I have had some of the same bad experiences with Samsung products, so I decided to share my experience to help those facing the same problems as me. I have owned the top of the line dmt800RHS dishwasher for less than two years. Initially the only issue was that the dishes would not get clean enough, so I spoke to the Lowes sales person who told me to make sure the water was hot at the sink before I start my washer. Even though there is a heating element in the machine, this did seem to help. Then, we started to smell what a lot of you are complaining about. Finally, the last straw was this latest issue with the machine filling with water but not starting the wash cycle. It also drains okay. I took the washer outside and removed everything inside it. Dont worry, its not rocket science, you can do it too. Just take your time. What I found was a piece of calcium stuck between the impeller and deflector. The calcium had hardened on the heating elements. I had to remove trapped food from inside the screen. I believe that is where the smell is coming from. I laid the machine on its back and removed the white plastic cover on the bottom that has two screws. Use a flat tip screw driver to release the tabs. Once inside, use a pair of pliers to pinch and slide the clamp back to remove the black hose at about the middle of the washer bottom. Stand it upright and blast the interior with your garden hose. If you live with hard water and your heating coil is covered with calcium put the hose back on and in the upright position submerge the coil in a CLR/water mixture. It might be a good idea to use a dishwasher cleaner monthly to keep the odor and calcium down. I hope I helped someone.

This company is the worst company to deal with as to warranty issues. Absolutely the worst company in the appliance business to deal with if you have a problem. They only say no. Do yourself a favor. Buy a different brand. You cant speak to the same person twice. They transfer your calls all over the world. They lose the documentation you send them, tell you one thing then renege. The glass top ranges develop cracks then they tell you its cosmetic. I had a GE glass top range 15 years and the top was still perfect when I got rid of it. Run from this company!!!

4 door Samsung Refrigerator Samsung RF23J9011 - Bought this fridge in July 2016 brand new from HH Gregg. A year and half later (Dec. 2017) the refrigerator portion of the fridge stopped working. It was 2 weeks before someone could come look at it. Samsung used a company called MetroTech. I had to pay 90.00 for an assessment and wait another 2 weeks for a part. The problem was with the seal which was covered under warranty as a defect. 2 weeks turned into 3 and the part was installed but it did not fix the problem. So Metrotech advised Samsung to replace the unit which they refused until Metrotech put in another part. Another 2 weeks of waiting and Metrotech put in the part. Upon doing so the inside panel of the fridge was damaged. Plus this did not fix the problem. The 4th time Samsung sent Metrotech out, Metrotech advised Samsung to replace the unit. A unit Exchange process was put in. When I called Samsung they told me they needed a certificate of ownership. I do not have this as it was still being paid for however, the account was in my deceased spouses name financed through Synchrony bank. HH Greg went out of business. Synchrony bank will not let me pay for the fridge because they filed a claim against the remaining balance in probate - even though I tried to pay for it. Probate will not end until sometime in May. Samsung will not replace the defective fridge without it showing the fridge is paid for. I do not know what to do? I think this is horrible and will never buy another Samsung product. EVER.

In July 2013, we bought a Samsung 3 door refrigerator with drawer for about $2,000.00. There was a manufacturers defect in one of the electrical cords attached to the drawer, which was repaired here. In January 2013, the refrigerator and freezer stopped cooling and freezing, so we called HH Gregg and were automatically connected to Samsung. Samsung did not dispatch a repairman, but instead said someone would get back to us. We waited all day as our food began to spoil, and called HH Gregg local number and asked for a store manager. He told us he would send an email to HH Greggs corporate office, and they would replace the refrigerator, which might take a week, and that another store employee, Beth, would call us back and set us up with a loaner refrigerator. When Beth did not call, we called her, and she said she had no such authority. I asked to speak to the manager again, and she connected me to Jeff, another person, who informed me that the store does not issue loaners and that there would not be a replacement refrigerator from HH Gregg. We called Samsung several times also, and they continued to say that someone would get back to us in 24 to 48 hours. At this point, we regret dealing with HH Gregg, and we regret buying a Samsung. I definitely do not recommend HH Gregg for any reason, and think people should avoid them entirely. As to Samsung, I am stuck with a lemon and will have to deal with their impossibly frustrating and slow customer service for the remainder of the time the refrigerator is under warranty. I have read several horror stories about Samsung, including 7 repairs in 4 years, at **. In summation, HH Gregg sells shoddy merchandise. No refrigerator should break twice in the first 7 months of ownership. Furthermore, HH Gregg does not stand behind its merchandise. Even thought we did not buy an extended warranty, they should take the refrigerator back and give us our money back, so we can buy a working refrigerator.

Our family purchased a Samsung French Door refrigerator (RFF266-AEPN) in fall 2016. It was about $1,600 and looks nice. In February 2018 (after 12 months - when the warranty expired), we heard random beeping noises in the afternoon and evenings with the freezer temperature panel fluctuating wildly from -8F to 2F. I had a bad feeling when two high-quality appliance repair companies both refused to diagnose or fix ANY Samsung refrigerators. The Sears Appliance Service Company said the freezer fan was broken and that the replacement part was $650 in addition to a service installation fee ($150). So, now Im stuck with purchasing a brand new refrigerator in less than 2 years! Beware if you purchase a Samsung refrigerator. Im never going to buy a Samsung-brand refrigerator again.

My Samsung refrigerator had the same icemaker issues the first year & then the refrigerator would only cool to 54 degrees right at the end of year 1. I called an approved service technician who got on the phone with Samsung after examining the unit. It was determined that the refrigerator could not be repaired & would have to be replaced. Apparently Samsung used butane as an alternative to freon in my unit & it is not being successful. Okay -- that was 6 weeks ago! I have been through many phone calls, submitted the required paperwork, & no one has cared that I have not had a fridge for 6 wks! I have been unable to get help from the store where I bought the fridge either. Samsung is mailed me a reimbursement check for the cost of the fridge, minus delivery & tax. I had to throw away $300 worth of food.So because of Samsungs defective refrigerator, I have had to pay for 3 service visits, $300 worth of lost food, & will have to pay tax & delivery fees plus more for a newer model of refrigerator. SERIOUSLY?! Its not my fault & it has cost me about $1,000.00! By the time I get the reimbursement check & buy a new fridge, I will have gone 8 weeks without a fridge! Im a single mom & currently unemployed, so this is especially painful right now. Unfortunately, I also have a Samsung TV, washer & dryer, all of which I have enjoyed, but now sure hope I dont have a problem with! I have NEVER had a company treat me so poorly.

By this time I was worried that our warranty would expire but the Samsung repairer assured me we would still be covered because it was always the same problem. Now time has passed and we started to find small pieces of white plastic mixed with our ice, a month later and the dispenser has ceased working. This is the second French Door Samsung fridge I have bought, and it will be the LAST Samsung product EVER to be in my house. The first french door one was perfect. There is only one company in the East Bay of San Francisco that will come out my way for warranty work and they have lots of complaints on Yelp. They must all know the problems and dont want to bother? The water pools at the bottom of the fridge, the icemaker works when it wants, frost buildup on the back wall of fridge, etc. Today the final straw was the horrific fan noise that stops when the doors open, and then resumes when the doors are closed. With open concept kitchens, the noise is extremely annoying. I am going to throw in the towel and get a new one, even though I cant afford it. Too bad there is not a designation for negative stars! I never write reviews but I came on this site to see if I was the only one who had a problem with this stove. ALAS, I was NOT. We had the same problem with the temperature controls as many other reviewers did. Luckily my husband was able to change a part and fixed the issue. After several ruined meals since I couldnt figure out what was wrong initially. However, my glass top has broken twice in the last year. I had an old GE range prior to this and it lasted forever! It was easily 15-20 years old. I bought this Samsung smooth glass top range when we remodeled our KItchen. (MAybe 3-4 years ago) Loved it! Im not hard at all on appliances. I turned my teapot on to boil water for tea the first time and I heard a loud crack. TUrned around and the entire top had shattered. We had the glass top replaced, which was a costly repair but we liked the stove. The other morning, I had a small skillet on the stovetop making eggs, I turned around and heard another loud CRACK! This time it cracked underneath the skillet and into about four large pieces. SO, I am guessing from what I see here, no reason to call Samsung. We can replace the glass top again but honestly, the money we spent to fix these issues were as much, if not more than, the stove itself. I would recommend another brand glass top stove/oven if youre looking for one.

Most recently phoned 6/4/21. First avail 6/18; ordered parts; returned 6/25 to complete. Never worked, and is now displaying error codes. Next avail 7/5 to fix. Im sorry, its not like me to even write something negative. However, my family has been poisoned because of Samsungs malfunctioning refrigerator. The digital readout is not accurate in displaying the actual temperature of the refrigerator. Bacteria starts to grow on perishables at any temperature above 40 degrees. Upon me serving food, it read 34. This was while it was under-warranty and all you did was pay for the Parts ha. Since then, this refrigerator has not worked by freezing up once a month at least for the long 6 years Ive owned it. I firmly intend on continuing to get word out regarding this as I am a very experienced enterprise digital marketer. Dont worry, Ill keep the audience within the United States. You poisoned my family, put a band-aid on a broken fridge and it never ever worked properly. Nice job Samsung. Maybe, fridges arent your thing. If you drop that product line, Samsung may even see a spike in revenue as many people and families have been poisoned in the same way and the unanimous audience of Samsung Refrigerator owners will all feel relieved.

I also purchased the refrigerator, side by side with ice and water in the door. The refrigerator just like the microwave started making this awful noise. It over freezes things no matter the setting. The ice maker quit, and again Warranty so Samsung says its my problem. I thought this was a quality company with quality merchandise. Please read the reviews and do not purchase Samsung. (Samsung promised to call me back within 24 hours. 96 hours later they returned my call and when I told them what I thought of this refrigerator, the rep laughed and wished me a Good Day!).Next morning I tugged and tugged to get drawer open and when it did open sheets of ice flew out onto kitchen floor. Searched online and found out I should NOT have purchased this thing... After I read enough to make me sick, I went online searched other brands and settled on a GE side-by-side that appeared to have the FEWEST complaints. Upon further reading about this piece of junk, I learned that water builds up under the crisper/snack bins in the refrig section. Removed the snack drawer that covers the entire bottom of refrig and bailed out 5 quarts of ice water, then took a mallet and beat the sheet of ice that was under the water and tossed that mess. This company clearly DOES NOT care about the consumer and neither does Lowes. I asked the associate in appliance dept. why they continue to sell Samsung appliances and was told it was because Lowes gets such GREAT DEALS from Samsung. Good for them...HORRIBLE for those of us who are dumb enough to purchase one. And I wonder, what good would the service contract be if they cannot find a repair company that knows how to deal with Samsung? It was delivered with a damaged door and after 3 months a new door came in, only it was stainless, I have a white unit. After 9 months, Lowes took doors of a new unit and put them on mine because Samsung was unable to supply them with one white door! I am not going to be stupid and look for someone to work on this piece of junk... Tomorrow it will be on the way to the dump.

October 2016 I bought a 4 door Samsung stainless steel refrigerator (model #RF22K9381SR/AA) from Lowe’s. The panel on the door below the icemaker/water dispenser has terrible water stains that will not come off with any recommended product by Samsung. When I complained to Samsung they sent out a technician to see it. The technician said there was a possibility that it developed a leak behind the door panel and he took a picture and said Samsung will be reviewing it.I then got a call from Samsung saying its not their problem because they are not responsible for cosmetic damage. Stainless is not suppose to stain with obvious water marks. I believe there is some defect with the refrigerator ice maker/water dispenser and/or that the stainless steel product they used is of inferior quality. I am very dissatisfied with my $3,0000 purchase of this refrigerator and am wondering if I can take Samsung to small claims court. I do not recommend purchasing Samsung refrigerators.

Buyer beware!!! After owning this French door refrigerator for a little over a year, there started to be water buildup under pantry drawer. The water would then freeze and would prevent the drawer from opening. I began the weekly game of trying to thaw the ice in order to use the pantry drawer. The ice would come out in big sheets. Big enough that while pulling a chunk out of the fridge, a piece broke off and dented my appliance. And because there was nowhere for the water to go, it started seeping out onto my hardwood floors which caused them to hoover up. After about 3 months of this NONSENSE I had it serviced. The repairman had fixed NUMEROUS Samsung French door refrigerators with this same issue. SHAME ON YOU Samsung for allowing a fridge to be engineered this way... Thought you were smarter than that. Since that service call I have had to get my ice maker serviced 2 times, dishwasher serviced 2 times and washing machine 2 times. All Samsung appliances. Buyer beware!

This wash machine has a wide variety of settings for washing. The bedding and waterproof items setting is very helpful. Without the center cylinder things like this can tangle, but not so in this setting. The spin cycle does a great job. Much less dryer time is needed. The water jet inside the washer is super handy to touch up items with a stain before the load. I wondered if I would use the deep fill water option since my old machine used a lot more water. But I have not felt the need to use it yet, this washer gets clothes nice and clean without all the extra water. I love that it reminds me when it is time to clean the machine. The self clean cycle is great. You will enjoy the little chime that goes off when the load is done. Highly recommend this washer!

We have had nothing but trouble since we bought a Samsung refrigerator. French doors with refrig drawer and bottom freezer. Ice dispenser in door leaks water continuously, ice maker shaves ice no matter what setting you choose (cubed or crushed), freezer drawer does not open all the way without jerking hard on it. We had repairman come several times while it was under warranty and they never got anything fixed? They said that’s just the way they are. Really? Back of refrigerator, behind panel, freezes up all the time and I have to defrost every few months. Drawer that holds the ice freezes shut and can’t open it. This refrigerator sucks. I would NEVER buy another Samsung product ever, EVER again and certainly would not recommend you do either!!!!

I bought a Samsung dishwasher less than 2 years ago and what a piece of garbage. My previous dishwasher lasted 30 years and it was a Kenmore. I called a local repair company and they said they do not service Samsung as parts are very expensive and hard to get. I phoned Leons in Collingwood where I got this junk and they gave me a phone number in Owen Sound. The technician came and told us something leaked onto the motor and would cost $600.00 to fix. So we paid $200.00 for service call and this piece of junk will go to the scrap yard. And unfortunately I bought a Samsung refrigerator and hopefully it will last more than 2 years. But I will be purchasing a different product very shortly and it will not be a Samsung brand.

This gas range fails within a year!!! PLUS it has been a total nightmare getting service for Samsung products. I finally realize from other reviews their products for the home are subpar. Only 1/2 the oven has worked the full oven has not. Now I have a brand new range with only a 1/2 oven!!! It is my understanding from reading other reviews if you use the self cleaning feature it MELTS the buttons and the circuit board. BEWARE OF THE short lived quality of the Samsung brand for this kind of product.

My husband and I bought all new Samsung appliances for our first home: refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, washer, and dryer. Each product has had to be repaired in the less than 4-year period we have owned the home. The most infuriating by far has been the refrigerator which now freezes over on a monthly, well, lets be real here, weekly, basis. A block of 3 builds up near the fan due to its poor design flaw which means we have the joy of unloading the entire contents of the refrigerator and freezer only to carry them out to the 1980 GE refrigerator in the garage. The sole job of the refrigerator is to keep food cool, yet this product cannot do it. Im angry that this issue has not been resolved and a recall has not been issued. It may sound crazy, but spending my monthly midnight Oh no, its done it again...time to relocate all of the food hours of fun isnt a tradition Id like to continue. I just want my money back so I can put it towards a new refrigerator that will not convert itself into a titanic sized iceberg that, although an iceberg, cannot keep my food chilled.

The vegetable drawer on the left side kept on freezing over. I had two visits from the repair technician. On his final visit after constantly calling the repair department and following all of their instructions, he came to the conclusion that the fridge was not repairable. Samsung said since it was out of the manufacturer’s warranty. They would give me a prorated refund. Sound like I should be satisfied right? The only thing is that before I can get any money I have to cut the cord and send it in. With a family of 8 what am I supposed to do until then?! I find their policies heartless and immoral.

Electric Range was purchased at Lowes on 10/05/2012. It has always been properly maintained and kept clean. We are seniors and actually do not cook a lot. We noticed when baking items were not cooking properly. We checked to the temperature of the oven. It would heat up to the set temperature and then drop down about 150 degrees. It should say the set temperature but registered lower. We called a very reputable appliance repair company. He diagnosed the lower heating element was bad. Once he got into the area of the element he gasped... He said in 43 years he has never seen an element fuse to the metal sheet. He determined it was not repairable and could possibly be a fire hazard. We purchased a Samsung Washer (repaired 3x) a gas dryer (4x), Dish washer (5x) and now an electric range that is not repairable. Should an electric range last more than 6 1/2 years? Needless to say we went out last night and purchased a new range. It was not a Samsung.

We purchased this dishwasher in April 2015, but did not have it delivered to us until June when our kitchen was completed. The first dishwasher to arrive was damaged. Had a bent door frame so the door would not close. The company we purchased these from (PC Richards) replaced the dishwasher and a new one was sent. In December 2015 and exactly 6 months from when dishwasher was installed it is no longer cleaning the dishes or drying them. We had a tech come out and it was determined that the heating element was bad. We also showed him a broken wheel on the lower rack. Tech said he would order parts. The parts came in and the tech was here to fix the issue. However, the wrong wheels were sent. To this day we are still without the proper wheels. Also, we have had 3 service calls since the new heat element was installed and still dealing with the dishwasher not cleaning or drying the dishes. The tech made a call to Samsung and they did some tests and it showed the dishwasher is functionally normal with no issues. So here we are with a dishwasher that is only 6 months old not working!! This dishwasher is garbage.

I recently replaced all my appliances and I was tempted by the Samsung style so I bought all Samsung appliances. The problem so far was the dishwasher after 2 months old. Reading on Internet I figured out the inlet valve went bad. I have tried to contact Samsung customer service multiple times. The waiting time is very frustrating. The representatives dont really know what they are talking about. They just waste even more of the time. They are very polite though but not helpful. Finally, they told me they will send me a technician. This was exactly 2 months ago. Im still waiting for them to come and repair the dishwasher. At this point we know that replacing the dishwasher again may be the best option. Tossing $500 bucks annoys me but dealing with Samsung its not worth it anymore. Honestly, I have been a big fan of Samsung but this dishwasher turned me down. Please be aware of Samsung dishwasher is NOT the way to go.

We purchased a Samsung french door refrigerator in 2012. It has an external ice and water, along with the bottom freezer and a drawer that has various options. Since 2014, we have had significant problems with the ice maker. The repair person has been here 5-6 times attempting to fix what he calls a manufacturing and engineering defect. Apparently he has seen this problem multiple times. It doesnt make ice, then it makes ice but it all melts and refreezes in a solid block. It continued this cycle over and over until it burned out its fan. Multiple calls to Samsung have gotten me nowhere except that I have now spent nearly $1000 trying to fix a $2500 appliance that is still brand new.

Only once covered under warranty. First 6 months gas oven. ALL top burn covers and grates discolored covered under warranty. NOW to microwave. The damn clock/timer constantly beeps and goes to #7. I mean every 1,2,3 minutes tops. Called Samsung. Knew all about problems and tried to sell me a $165 microwave door to fix problem plus $65 install. They would NOT allow me to install because it would void warranty. I questioned. What warranty? First door was not being covered. No answer to that. Now just waiting for dishwasher to go. Bought from HHgregg a Samsung stainless package 08/01/13. Delivered and installed it 09/07/13. Everything worked great for a year except the dishwasher (DW80F800 series with stormwash). This dishwasher was why it took a month because it was an upgrade to the one on order but was out of stock. This dishwasher sucks! Not only does it not dry dishes from the beginning when I got it; yes I use the jet dry liquid rinse aid, error messages now keep coming on even after repairman came and replaced the main board (which took almost three weeks of hand-washing dishes), it does not have a heat drying element. $700 piece of **, after reading all the reviews of the same thing happening with lots of other Samsung dishwashers. As one reviewer said, Samsung needs to stick to making cell phones!P.S. I now have another repair order for this 15 month-old dishwasher and if he cant fix it this time Im gonna insist on a re-select from hhgregg and get a more reliable dishwasher.... Samsung’s idea of customer service is “3 – 5 business days and someone will call you”. At this point we have been without a functioning refrigerator (I consider a refrigerator to be a basic need in this day and age) for 14 days! The specifics are below: A service tech was sent to ‘fix’ the problem one week after we first reported the problems to Samsung. The fix/part replacement (2 different parts were tried) did not correct the problem. The Tech talked with Samsung’s technical support from our home and said, My office will call you on Monday (9 days after the report to Samsung). On Wednesday (11 days after the report to Samsung) the same tech is back with a 3rd different part. Still not the answer. At this point, it is determined that we need a whole new refrigerator (current unit is only 6 months old). The Tech entered a ticket into the system AND once again it is 3 – 5 days before someone will call us. Not, 3 – 5 days and you will have a new refrigerator – NO, 3 – 5 days and someone will talk with you about what can be done. Now it has been exactly 14 days since our Samsung refrigerator has worked. Still we have not received a call from anyone from Samsung regarding the solution to our problem. This was my first Samsung refrigerator; it will be my last.

We bought a french door refrigerator (RF323TEDBSR/AA) in August 2015; In May 2016 the fan started to make a funny noise. In June the fridge stops cooling. Freezer works fine. We called Samsung, no complaints about the customer service, however the communication between Samsung and services provider is really bad. The first one said our manufacturer warranty was expired in March 2015, but we bought the fridge in August. Second service guy came over; very pleasant guy; changed the defrost panel. It has been exactly a month that they changed the back panel, and the noise from the fan going against the built ice came back. We called Samsung again yesterday, then I decided to check some reviews. I start thinking we made a bad choice buying this product. We have few others, washer, dryer, stove and microwave not installed yet.

Samsung. We have a ton of Samsung products throughout our home, and our children use a lot of the same. We bought a Samsung refrigerator four years ago and in our opinion its a piece of crap!!! Weve had to have it serviced a few times in the last three months, with them charging $90 to show up, $75 an hour and parts. Our ice maker quit and are French door freezer started to quit. The tech came and changed the sensor and it cost over $170.They freeze our words, the ice maker to this day has never work again, and guess what, now the stinking freezer is broken again!!! Trying to get service to respond is horrible, It took us five calls over a 10 hour period to finally get someone to respond the next day. We were told the motherboard needs to be replaced and then the tech said the signal seemed to be OK to the sensor so he really didnt need to be replaced. The sensor controls the freezer. So we decided to toss out about these hours or more of frozen food. Now we have to go out and buy another refrigerator after four years!!! Wow!!! I want to go to Home Depot to check out refrigerators have asked want to good refrigerator was in one of two that was recommended was a Samsung!!! Are you combative were going to have to spend at least $2000 for a new refrigerator it wont be a Samsung unless they offered to work something with us. We bought this refrigerator as the result of the settlement of a complaint I filed with the state Attorney General against Sears for a crappy Amana refrigerator that broke six times in five years. Siri refuses to let us buy an extended warranty Surrey: we put extended warranties on everything we own. We had our Samsung French Door refrigerator for about six months when the ice maker would not stop making ice when the bucket was full and then get jammed up with ice up at the top of the maker. After clearing the ice and resetting the maker multiple times, I called Samsung. The phone tech was very hard to understand, since he was from India (although he was always polite). He walked me through several resets and then, instead of sending a service tech as I requested, he had me turn the ice maker off for several days and then turn it back on and reset it with the intent of clearing the machine. It did not work. More jamming of ice. Today I called service again and they are sending a service tech with a new ice maker. I will update my experience after the install and a reasonable time to see if it functions correctly. However, I do not feel it was appropriate for them to postpone service when the problem had persisted for almost a month prior to my call and I am not pleased that the ice maker failed when the refrigerator is only six months old.

Plus, one of the technicians uninstalled it and didnt reinstall it, so its not even attached to the counter anymore. In addition to all that, the cycle is nearly 4 hours long! Example of lies I have been told by this disgusting company after they replaced the motherboard, water wall and motor: 1. Once a technician comes out twice, we deem it defective and give you a refund. Its been six times so far. 2. Technician needs to come out three times before we can deem it defective. See above. 3. It doesnt work because you arent running the sanitize feature. Okay, still doesnt work. 4. It doesnt work because you are using regular Cascade pods, not Platinum pods. Okay, still doesnt work. 5. It doesnt work because you are using pods, not liquid detergent. Not according to Cascade, but okay, still doesnt work. 6. It works. I dont remember having you over for dinner and you offering to clean up, Samsung, so how would you know that? It leaks, doesnt even get some dishes wet and doesnt dissolve the detergent, liquid or pod. Model DW80J7550UG. Garbage product from garbage company. It does not only NOT clean our dishes, it actually leaves our glasses dirtier than when they went in... Appears that food particles spray around the dishwasher but arent actually cleaned from the dishes & glasses. Saw a W5 program that highlighted how bad these machines really are. Hopefully, Home Depot will do something about this.

I purchased a french door refrigerator from Lowes two years ago (2009). I have had nothing but trouble since. I ended up throwing out most of my vegetables because they rot in the bins, on the shelf, and in the bottom shelf. I have adjusted the temperature but nothing has helped. Its not like I can go out and purchase a new one. I spent $1500.00 on this one. I will never buy another Samsung product again!

First the poor design was the ice maker which broke three times. Repaired it twice and gave up. Bought ice maker. (Mine was the ice maker on top of freezer. Always getting knocked into and broken). I noticed new models dont have the ice maker on top of freezer. Plastic parts broke. Now it is hot in the refrigerator and freezer. Lost between $200 -300 dollars worth of food. Then TRY to find a repairmen. What a sorry lot. Supposed to come last Thursday, truck broke down. Was rescheduled for Sat. No show. Now they can come Sat. That is one week and a half without a refrigerator. I spent big bucks on this I believe 4 or five years ago. Will NEVER get another Samsung product.

Have brand new expensive induction stove. One plastic leg would not adjust the height. Manufacturer defect. Samsung told me to hire technician and refused to even ship the part. Worst part that they wasted my time on the phone and online filling stupid forms. Would not count on their warranty and product.
