Biggest piece of crap on earth. The plate above the veggie drawers is 2 plastic inserts that cannot be removed. If anything liquid spills or a fine powder spills it seeps under the plastic. NO ** WAY TO CLEAN IT. NONE. NADA. I have never seen such stupidity and horrific lack of cleanability in any refrigerator in 60 years. IT IS A PIECE OF **. The back wall freezes anything near it. Water drips under the large drawer and freezes. This is the second Samsung fridge I have had (it was a replacement for the first one that was so bad they were forced to replace it.) I will never ever purchase anything from this crap company. No customer service, horrible appliances (think exploding phones) and no one at the company cares.

My wife and I bout a Samsung RT5000K Top Freezer Twin Cooling Plus™, 350 L refrigerator for Courts Jamaica Limited. The first month the front plastic on the tray under the freezer compartment split down the middle while it was being wiped off. It was as if it had dry rotted. In the first three months the door started to bubble and this is the one that has the stainless steel look. They replaced the skin after a lot of complaining and then the door would hardly close by itself when they were done and they left all the plastic on.Now the rubbers are starting to crack on the door and we have not had the thing a year yet. The door is making a creaking sound once in a while when you open it and the refrigerator from day one has been making weird sounds. It also runs very hot and for an inverter type, the electric bill has not gone down at all. Have been trying to find the year of manufacture and cant seem to get any answers. I believe it was in storage a long time before being sold. Very disappointed and would never buy one again. Will continue to take to social media to get some answers.

This very expensive 4 French door refrigerator (over $3000) quit cooling within 2 years of purchase, and Samsung is non-responsive. My story sounds like the same thing others are experiencing. Samsung supposedly scheduled service with an independent contractor to come look at it and he never showed up because no one ever told him -- they dropped the ball completely. They cant be rescheduled for at least 2 more weeks. I have been receiving the same line, (its not my department) from Samsung for every call I make. Meanwhile, my food is spoiling and I am hoping we dont end up with food poisoning from improperly cooled food. I paid too much for this one to run out and buy another. So we use. It is apparent that once Samsung gets your money they do not care. In my experience, this is a terrible product and bad company that should stick to making televisions -- not refrigerators.

Im as upset about this issue as Ive ever been about dealing with a manufacturer. I will never purchase a Samsung brand device or appliance. The unit is a RF266AWEP. It stopped cooling 7 days ago and my wife and I have been taken on a journey of phone calls and multiple transfers to Samsung executive support staff all resulting in a cowardly This service ticket has been cancelled email that came through last night. We paid for an Samsung authorized repair technician to troubleshooting the unit. I was hoping the issue would be something simple and they could fix it. The service tech stated that the issue was with the compressor and would cost around $800-1200 in labor to repair. But, great! That part (and labor to repair) is still under warranty so we call up Samsung and spend a total of 12 hours over the course of 3 days on various phone calls, speaking to support reps. There are 3 authorized Samsung service centers in our area. The one that came out, refuses to perform the repair work because they are overbooked. The second refuses to come out because another repair provider has already looked at the unit. The third does not have someone that can perform closed system compressor work. So in the end, no one will fix our Refrigerator and Samsung just closed the ticket and left me a voicemail stating the ticket is closed. The end. This whole process feels extremely shady. I think they are trying to force us to just give up and go buy a new fridge. Dont buy Samsung products. If you have, good luck with warranty repairs.

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator, (Model #RS22HDHPNBC), June 16th, 2017 from Home Depot. The purchase price at that time was $2059.74. This was the second purchase of the same Samsung model which indicates that I was moderately pleased with the first refrigerator. Exactly one year and twenty days from the purchase date, July 6th, 2018, both the freezer and refrigerator stopped functioning. On July 6th, 2018 I contacted Samsung Customer Care to report the problem. I received an email from Customer Care notifying me of the assigned ticket number and an authorized service center. On July 11th the service center, Lakes Electronics, made the first service call to address the problem. It was determined the u/v dryer should be replaced and said part was ordered. On July 13th the repairman returned to replace the u/v dryer and recharge the system. On Tuesday, July 17th I noticed neither the refrigerator or freezer sections were adequately cooling. On July 19th the Lakes Electronics repairman returned and determined the evaporator should be replaced. He ordered the part and indicated it should be in the following week. He advised us that he would be on vacation and we chose to wait on his return for installation since he was familiar with all that had previously transpired. He was to return the week of July 30th. On July 20th the repairman texted me and informed me he had spoken to his office about ordering the evaporator and all should be ready for installation upon his return. On Monday, July 30th I was informed that Lakes Electronics did not have the part. Wednesday, August 1st I was told the evaporator would be delivered to the service center by Thursday the 2nd of August in the afternoon. On Saturday, August 4th the Lakes representative came to install the evaporator. He discovered the wrong part had been shipped from the Samsung warehouse and it would be necessary to reorder the part. Wednesday, August 8th the part was delivered to Lakes Electronics warehouse in Gainesville at 10:57 AM. On Thursday, August 9th the repairman returned to my home to install the reordered evaporator. On Friday, August 10th I noticed the unit was not sufficiently cooling or freezing and notified the repairman. On Tuesday, August 14th the repairman made another service call to conduct additional tests. He then determined the refrigerator was not repairable and furnished me with an exchange number, (**), furnished by Samsung. Wednesday, August 15th I called the Customer Care department and spoke to Linda. I was told I had no recourse since the refrigerator was just over one year old even though the sealed refrigeration system has a five (5) year warranty by Samsung. If the unit is deemed to be not repairable by your authorized service representative I would argue that it should be replaced or a refund issued under the coverage specified by the warranty on the sealed refrigeration system.I am extremely disappointed in Samsungs lack of concern and failure to stand behind their warranty. I have not even mentioned that I was without use of a refrigerator for 38 days due to the inefficiency of the staff or the service center. I can assure you that Samsung has lost a customer, (three major Samsung products), and I will no longer recommend any of Samsung products to anyone.

4 months ago my 14 month old Samsung electric stove went up in flames after setting the self cleaning oven on, went outside to let the dog out. I heard the fire alarm going off and smoke was coming out the windows. The fire started in the back of the computer it burned the microwave which was also a Samsung. I called Samsung and they sent a tech out a few days later. The tech said it was the computer. The Fire Marshall also agreed that the fire came from within the control panel. I called Samsung and they said they would take care of everything. We had estimates and sent pics, etc. They said they would pay for the cost of repairs to my home (est. $22,000.00). Samsung said we would have to send it to our insurance company, aka Samsung marine & fire. They were going to cut a check 2 months later. They continued to keep giving me the run around; stating oh we sent the stove Korea for inspection first. Guess what? Samsung said its my fault because we put something on the stove. But we are all liars but the folk in Korea, the fire marshall, the Samsung tech and the pics?? Im not done with Samsung yet. Im not a quitter!!!

We purchased a Samsung refrigerator almost 5 years ago. The refrigeration system is warranted for 5 years. The freezer stopped working 2 weeks ago. A Samsung service rep has been here 3 times and now the refrigerator section doesnt work at all. The customer service department is terrible to deal with; they now want to send a service out again a 4th time next week. Have you ever tried to live without a refrigerator for a week. I would not recommend purchasing a Samsung refrigerator if you want a refrigerator to last more than 5 years. And make sure you have a spare refrigerator while Samsung tries to fix it.

We purchased a Samsung RF323TE French Door Refrigerator with a Bottom Freez
We purchased a Samsung RF323TE French Door Refrigerator with a Bottom Freezer and Ice Maker in approximately November 2012. Things were working fine until we started noticing a foul smell (like urine) coming from the water out of the dispenser. The water and ice then tasting bad as well. I thought it was the filter, so I bought a new filter, replaced it, and flushed it with several gallons of water through the dispenser as instructed. This worked for about a week, and then the problem returned. I thought I just got a bad filter, so I put a new one in and repeated the process. Shortly after, the problem is now back. I went to the Samsung website to try and troubleshoot it, but I could not find nor enter the model number. I got an error message saying the model number was not found! I have not called them, and I am not sure if we bought the extended warranty from Lowes, but the reports I have read are very discouraging. I will definitely report back, and do more research before my next purchase. Samsung will be hard pressed to get any more of my business.

I was so excited to purchase this item for my new kitchen remodel last year. I made the purchase in March 2015, believe it was delivered in June 2015. The stove was installed in July 2015 and began use in August 2015. I am out of warranty. The first time I used the self-clean mode, the control panel died and the oven remained locked. I contacted Samsung, who arranged out of warranty service. The stove broke on Friday, service was today (Wednesday). After the technician detached the oven from my grout and backsplash, he determined the thermostat went bad. I paid my $79 service fee and he is ordering the part.Technician is concerned as to what caused the thermostat, saying ideally hed replace the control board, the fan, and the sensor so that he doesnt end up back. I contacted Samsung, very upset with this clear defect. I get the Sorry you are dissatisfied, but you are out of warranty. 15 years I had a Kenmore... never had a problem... ready to go back! DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG PRODUCT, CLEARLY NOT CONSUMER FRIENDLY!!

My elderly mother bought a Samsung refrigerator, microwave and stove and they worked well for at least the first year. Since then, the handles on both the microwave and freezer door of the refrigerator have both broken off (my mother is in her 70s and not very strong) and it has cost her literally hundreds of dollars to have servicemen come and fix them because the warranty was no longer valid. She has spent more money trying to fix them than they were worth when she bought them!!! She is now having trouble with her stove, a stove which offers a divider so that one doesnt have to heat up the entire stove just a small portion of it (given that she is generally only cooking for herself). Well, guess what, the stove blew and the only way to get it to work is to remove the divider (the very reason she bought that stove) and Samsung will do nothing about it. These are products that should last AT LEAST ten years before any problems occur. Worst customer service, worst products. Worst of all, I recommended them to my elderly mother! So infuriated!

We bought the Samsung over-the-counter microwave brand new in 2010. It worked very well and looked great. But it hasnt even lasted FIVE YEARS. 6 months ago the door latch broke; we repaired it ourselves with $75+ in parts. A month ago this started happening: when we open the microwave door, the unit turns ON and runs; only way to not cook my hand is to unplug it. Its headed to the recycle bin. There is no excuse for a product this expensive (retail $349 at Lowes) to last less than 5 years. No warranty that long is available. Will not *ever* look at Samsung brand for kitchen appliances again.

We bought a Samsung side-by-side RS257BARB from Best Buy about six years ago and paid close to $1,300. A couple of days ago, we noticed the freezer was not cold; then yesterday, the fridge side was not cold either. I had a live internet chat with a Samsung rep to no avail. Their authorized repair service center is 35 miles away. I had no choice but to call a local appliance repair service technician to come and take a look. He examined the fridge and told me the compressor went dead and it would cost $800 just for the part alone, might as well get a new fridge. I am very disappointed with this verdict as I hope it would be a minor fix for such a pricey appliance. I remember when we were growing up we had a GE fridge that lasted over twenty some years. The fridges nowadays look great on the outside, but they dont last and customer support is practically nonexistent.

Samsung Electric Range - My complaint is when you use the self cleaning feature, it burns out something in the control panel and requires a repairman to replace the part. According to the repairman its the way its made and was told not to use this feature. How silly is that? Why buy a self cleaning stove and cant use it??? I tested it again while still under warranty and it did it again for a second time. I am calling Samsung for a full refund. Either way I will surely be running the self cleaning feature more times before the warranty runs out. They will be paying the repair people as much as it takes until warranty is out.

Due to the pandemic, we again use it since August but the unit was already DEFECTIVE. We filed a complaint thru the Samsung website but they only accept queries for their digital units. There was even an option in their website to complain to the Samsung CEO, from which I did, but to no avail. We are also in touch with the local service rep of Samsung since the the first week of September, paid a big amount for parts and service but the unit is still DEFECTIVE! Please help.

I have read so many reviews and complaints about the Samsung refrigerators, as well as the poor service Samsung provides. What I know is that many larger retailers such as Home Depot and Lowes who sell the product are as guilty as Samsung for selling and promoting a product that has proven to be a consumer failure. I note that there is a class action lawsuit initiated in the U.S. I propose we do the same in Canada as well as hold retailers who sell the product responsible too. We started to take a day once a year to defrost it over 24 hours and it worked for a couple years but we called it this year. It froze up again (early this year) and we defrosted it again but it never got back to properly keeping our food cool but not frozen. Our local repair person told us he wouldnt waste our time because hes gone to service Samsung fridges many times and bought new parts but it never helped. When we had our new fridge delivered the delivery person commented that theyve removed mostly Samsung fridges from peoples homes. They look good but not worth it. Ours lasted 6 years! We are totally dissatisfied with Samsungs French door refrigerator (RF26VABWF) and totally frustrated with dealing with their appointed service representative - Lakes Electronics. We purchased a French door refrigerator December 2008. By March 2012, the refrigerator stopped cooling. Between Lowes service company and then Samsungs factory service unit (Lakes Electronics) it took three trips and $570 dollars to get serviceable.Three years later, the refrigerator started leaking water from the unit that was replaced in 2012. We called Lakes Electronics directly for service, who responded appropriately the next day. The repair person defrosted the leaking unit, charged the standard fee, and gave us his directed contact number. Within a few days the refrigerator started leaking water again, we waited a few days in hopes that it would corrected itself and called for another service trip. On the second trip, the service rep took the unit apart, supposedly unfroze the drain line and told us that he would check with Samsung to try to diagnose the problem. He said that he should have an answer in a day and a half.Needless to say, the leak resumed within two days. The rep failed call with the status of the claim. We called him twice after a week, but he failed to answer and failed to return the call. We infer that he had no idea what was wrong. We dont know if he neglected to contact Samsung or Samsung didnt know how to fix the problem. Now we contacted Lakes again. We get the answer that they will send the same representative out and that they will charges us again. In effect, they promised fix our flat tire by filling it with air but not find the nail that causes the flat. When we question whether they guarantee that the problem is fixed, we get a run-around. When we ask to discuss the issue with supervisory staff, we are put on permanent hold.In addition to the above tale of woe, the ice maker stopped working a couple years ago. Plus the cold water runs so slowly, it is totally worthless. These problems were true with a brand new filter. The filters cost $40 every six months. With the rest of our frustrations with our purchase of the refrigerator we havent even considered bringing service in for ice and water line problems. For sure, we will never buy another Samsung appliance.

SE display on control panel - Model SMH9207ST - 2 years and 8 months after installation, the SE display started to appear. Turning power off-on, sometimes would start it going again for only a few days. Unfortunately, this action is not working any longer. Have contacted Samsung and according to them, there are no complaints on this model (I found numerous) and since its over one year old, well have to pay for any repair. Since this is an over the range model, built in my remodeled kitchen, Im stuck with this piece of crap! To make matters worse, we are also experiencing problems with their refrigerator (purchased at the same time as the microwave) and their Smart TV, purchased in July 2012. DEFINITELY NO MORE SAMSUNG PRODUCTS IN MY HOME!

Returned home after 3 hour absence to find my 3 year old Samsung microwave baking a non existent potato. The menu was flashing baking potato. I have no idea how long it was on and turning it off & on twice did not help. I ended up shutting down the fuse on the circuit board. Repairs totaled $175. Totally unacceptable. I am elderly and live alone so no question of excessive use. I wish I had seen this review forum first and I would not have repaired it at all. Very unhappy...

On July 20th, 2021, I ordered a Samsung 22.2 cu. ft. Family Hub 4-Door French Door Recessed Handle Smart Refrigerator in Stainless Steel, Counter Depth from Home Depot. I paid $3850.93 and received an estimated delivery date of September 24th, 2021. On September 19th, 2021, I received a call informing me from Home Depot that due to a change in delivery service, the order would be delivered on October 8th.On October 7th, 2021, I received a call from the Home Depot delivery team that due to not receiving the refrigerator, the delivery would be delayed until their warehouse receives the fridge. On October 7th, 2021, I called Samsung Appliance Department at (855) 716-2386. I spoke with a representative that advised that the refrigerator would be shipped today, October 7th and that the delivery was on track for tomorrow, October 8th. On October 7th, 2021, I used the chat feature and was again informed that the fridge would be shipped on October 7th, 2021, for scheduled delivery on October 8th, 2021. After expressing concern, I requested to speak with a supervisor. I was not allowed to speak directly to a supervisor and was advised to send an email. The estimated response time was 48 to 72 hours from submission. On October 7th, 2021, I called Samsung Appliance Department at (855) 716 2386 and requested to speak with a supervisor. The representative informed me that she could help. I inquired again when the refrigerator shipment would take place, and the representative stated that they wanted to be honest with me and said they did not have the refrigerator to ship. The representative then stated that it would be sometime in November before they could ship the fridge. I requested to speak with her supervisor. I opted to wait on hold. I was connected with the team lead, who informed me that there was nothing that she could offer. I informed her that I had already paid for the refrigerator in July. She advised that if I didn’t want to wait until November, I should cancel my order.I have received zero compassion, support, or transparency since July 20th. I was misled, misinformed, and disrespected multiple times. This department should be held accountable for treating its customers poorly and without any regard. Furthermore, I was misled in thinking that this appliance would be delivered when it was not. This situation has caused me and my family hardship.

This Samsung Range model (NE63T8711SG/AA) was purchased in February. Loaded with features as well as the oven compartment having an air fryer and dehydrator. 3 weeks after we purchased the $2000.00 range my wife decided to use the Air Fryer to make wings. The fan in the oven blew grease all over the oven coating the entire enamel surface with grease and the entire house was engulfed in smoke. Took us three days to clean off the caked on grease. Needless to say we will never use the Air Fry feature again. A few days later we tried to make a spaghetti dish. Not wanting to have caked on mess on the bottom we put aluminum in the oven. The oven melted the aluminum and is fused to the enamel surface of the oven. We have tried everything to get it off. Needless to say after calling Samsung, they will not help us with this issue at all. The Range is only 3 months old and the oven has been used a total of three times and they wont help us. Besides this problem we have found that the burner knobs are so touchy that barely bumping them or leaning against the oven slightly will turn the burners on. The burners protrude past the range. Very dangerous! Beware of this oven!

I too bought Samsung dishwasher, over the cooktop microwave oven and refrigerator. The refrigerator broke right away and was under store warranty so Lowe’s took care of it - otherwise I’m sure it wouldnt have been fixed by Samsung! The outside of the fridge however started to rust within the first year and neither place would help out with it so my stainless steel looks crappy! The microwave broke. I just bought a new one instead of messing with Samsung because they are a joke. Now the dishwasher isnt working and when you call you talk to idiots that run through all these questions just to tell you it is not under warranty - yeah I knew that, then that they cant help you. I’ll Google it and try to fix it myself... I will never buy Samsung again and will tell everyone I know too.

We purchased our Samsung in August of 2014. We were gone for an extended period of time and the fridge was barely used and was off most of the time after delivery. We returned in mid March and a couple of weeks ago in early April 2015 I placed a double wrapped (plastic and butcher wrap) package of frozen fish on a fridge shelf to thaw for cooking in a couple of days. Two days later, when I went to the fridge there was a terrible odor... fish. I noticed the thawed fish had leaked and spilled all over the shelf and down into the drawer below. I removed it all and cleaned it up and tossed the fish too sickened to cook it. About 4 days or so later I noticed that the odor remained. I recleaned the entire fridge. I noticed that the shelf on which the fish leaked, the one that I had cleaned thoroughly now had a reddish brown stain all along all sides under the tempered glass between the shelf frame and the glass. Ok, I thought, I must remove the glass BUT the glass is sealed into the frame and I could and cannot remove it for proper cleaning. Now, the clear fluid that leaked under the glass has a reddish brown color which indicates to me that bacteria were feasting on the fish juice that spilled from the package. I was alarmed and ran hot water from the faucet directly onto the shelf sides. NO LUCK! I then tried soaking the shelf... one side at a time, in my sink in hot soapy water. STILL NO LUCK. I called Samsung, live chatted with Samsung and submitted emails and called my appliance dealer. We purchased an expensive 5 year warranty for service. I thought they would make this right. All of the shelves, freezer and fridge are sealed. You cannot clean any spilled liquid!!! I even tried inserting a single edged razor blade under the side to let water in but it would not. I asked Samsung for directions on how to clean those sides of the glass. THEY SAID THEY HAD NO SUGGESTION. My appliance dealer also said they could not help. After approximately 8 hours on the phone with Samsung I now have a refrigerator that is a bacteria factory and cannot be cleaned. I am going to report this here and now I am going to search out a class action lawyer who will take this case.I have NEVER owned a fridge that did now allow for cleaning of the glass, or if sealed, did not allow fluid leakage. SAMSUNG HAS A DESIGN FLAW. If you care about your health and the health of your family DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG PRODUCT. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE HEALTH RELATED ISSUES. Samsung offered to send out a service person. HOWEVER, if this was a cleaning/maintenance issue, I would have to pay for a $55.00 charge. Do not even try going into their self help or request for service by phone or online. Both methods ultimately shift you back into a service request circle of forms that grow more complicated.I spent more than four hours on the link that I was given that would solve my problem. I took the link and filled out all the information, uploaded photos of the problem (bacteria growing) and scanned and uploaded my sales receipt. It then flipped me to a self-help page that one could NEVER escape from until Samsung clocked you out. If you are human, like me, and occasionally spill liquids in the fridge, DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG, IT WOULD BE SAFER TO BUY AN ICE CHEST AND A BAG OF ICE IF YOURE LOOKING FOR SAFE FOOD STORAGE. Thats it, Ill never buy another Samsung product! Now, Im off to find a class action lawyer to make them fix this problem. Ive felt nauseated ever since noticing this reddish brown bacteria. Dont know if it was/is the bacteria I cant remove or the stress that Samsung has caused!

We replaced all our kitchen appliances two years ago with high end Samsung
We replaced all our kitchen appliances two years ago with high end Samsung stainless appliances. We researched various brands and based our decision on JD Powers, but also considered LG since both were rated highly. We also purchased with Lowes as they had high ratings. Unfortunately, we have had so many problems with the Samsung appliances, and the salesperson incorrectly sold us a 2-unit extended warranty instead of a 4-unit warranty. We have seen many more issues than what we experienced with our basic 10-year old white Whirlpool appliances that we replaced that were original to the house but otherwise functioned correctly. We purchased extended warranties and have contacted Samsung many times, and the issues do not get resolved. Often, the local repair company will argue that there is nothing they can do. Convection microwave: dead panel/completely inoperable. Dishwasher: multiple errors on control panel during cycles, does not clean, adjustable drawer holders have broken 8 times due to cracking with heat and we have to replace at our expense. Gas oven/range: will not cook foods correctly. Be sure you buy gas range with electric oven. Gas oven does not regulate correctly and always takes much longer than recipe calls for. Refrigerator: dual icemaker takes up nearly all the storage of going with larger unit; but otherwise, this has been the only Samsung appliance that has performed without failing during the first 2 years of ownership. We will avoid purchasing the so-called high end Korean appliances next time, and we will not purchase from Lowes again.

Today March 22, 2018 theyre laugh while putting you on multiple holds. Customer rep told me to fix it myself and then submit my bill to them and they may reimburse me. I called Sears appliance repair for an estimate with parts and labor. It would be between $590 to $700. We paid $1169.00 for our Samsung refrigerator. It should not break nor should we be out of pocket $700. Plus we lost all the food in fridge in freezer. Go to Samsung FB page. They treat consumers horrible. I have called multiple times, filed a complaint yesterday with BBB, Attorney General & CFPB. They the compressor is still under Manufacturers Factory Warranty. It has 3 of the 5 years left. There should be a Civil Suit filed against Samsung. Worst Refrigerator ever. Customer Representatives should all be fired. They are rude and lie to you. Ask for your ticket number that they have had for weeks. The automotive service knows my name when I call to get me right over to their rude customer service reps at the REPAIR Line.

No working fridge for 4 months and counting. I purchased the Samsung 22.3 Cu Ft counter deep Side-by-side refrigerator with thru the door ice and water - stainless steel. Model RS22HDHPNSR on March 21st, 2015. This fridge was to be the center piece of my kitchen renovation. It was my one big shiny splurge, costing me $2100. My fridge worked fine from March 2015 until November 2016, when it stopped compressing cold air. Since the parts were still under warranty Samsung agreed to have technicians from A&E electrical come to my home in Northern California SIX times over a period of FOUR months to replace the compressor, a 4-way valve and a motherboard. They have also reduced the pressure on something and then the next time increased the pressure on that same part. According to my calculations Samsung has paid over $1400 to fix my fridge, which is inefficient for this company and extremely frustrating and time-consuming for me. Each time a technician comes to my home they try to fix it and they cant. When a technician does come to my home it is not trivial. I have to take time away from work and wait for them to arrive over a 4 hour period (9 am to 1 pm or 1 pm to 5 pm). There have been two occasions when the technician had to reschedule because he had overbooked his schedule and one occasion when the technician just didnt turn up and didnt even call to reschedule. When the technician does actually turn up and has attempted to fix my fridge and failed, I immediately call Samsung and then have to explain my situation all over again. I then have to wait for another 2-3 weeks before a technician can come out again. And then the same thing happens all over again! Im at the point now where I have had the fridge finally deemed as unrepairable by a technician and have sent in my proof of purchase and the technicians report to executive customer services by email. Ive also threatened to take legal action if I am not compensated immediately because 4 months without a fridge and two young boys is physically and mentally quite miserable. For me $2100 is just too much money to throw away so I have no choice but to keep fighting this corrupt company. I am very disappointed that Samsung customer service have threaded me along for so long.

We just bought it brand new, they said that they were 4 yrs old and out of warranty. The dishwasher was the first to go out, then the freezer on the icebox and now the stove oven doesnt work. I will never buy a Samsung of any kind and wont buy from Best Buy either. All of their products are out of warranty and they told me, Thats why you should buy a extended warranty. Ive come from a string of GE refrigerators that always seemed to disappoint
Ive come from a string of GE refrigerators that always seemed to disappoint me in one way or another. Most of the problems were related to not holding the desired temperature in both refrigerator and freezer compartments. I also experienced problems with excess moisture in the freezer compartment and ice makers/ice water dispensers that never worked properly. The water dispenser always froze up unless I raised the temperature to an unsafe level. Very poor design. The Samsung French door unit has worked perfectly for about 1 1/2 years, but it does make a lot of strange noises. So far this appears to be a quality unit that works as expected.

My Samsung dishwasher worked perfectly until one day it simply stopped working -- no lights, nothing. I called Samsung and was told if it was the control board it would be a warranty repair, but if it was the front panel it would not be. The authorized service repair company came and --without running any diagnostics -- replaced the front panel, and charged me about $300. The unit worked for a week, and then the same problem reappeared. They came back to do the work. Samsung said would be a warranty repair -- replace the control board -- but then after the work was completed, charged me $140 for the board anyway! After many contacts with Samsung, which agreed repeatedly that the control board was a warranty repair, I was never able to get the money refunded and Samsung failed to follow through with numerous promised phone calls. I would never buy another Samsung product after this experience (which is particularly a shame since Ive been a loyal Samsung customer for years -- phones, TVs, memory cards, etc.).

Waited a week for service dept to come to assess the problem with my refrigerator. Paid the service dept.$120.00 to tell me yes, its broken. Service came yesterday to tell me everything needs to be replaced. Water is pooling in the crisper, temp. not being held, sensor needs to be replaced, etc., etc... to the tune of 720.00. Now I have to wait 48 hours for a manager to get back to me. The refrigerator model # RF 263AERS was purchased in 2011 and is out of warranty. Cant believe that a refrigerator that cost over $1,000.00 should only last 7 years. Why do I have to wait 48 hours for a manager to talk to me. Samsung French Door Refrigerator Model RF4287HARS Stainless - Whatever you do, purchase the extended warranty. I did and am happy about spending the extra 90.00 for a 3 year warranty. Ive tried looking online for any recalls or class action cases, and for some reason Im not having much luck. It was purchased at Home Depot, but that may not make a difference. It hurts at first to spend an extra 90.00 for a 3 year warranty but think after spending 2,000 for the darn thing! I would advise a warranty for at least 5 years. Buyer beware. Samsung will not reimburse you for out of pocket expenses for repair of their refrigerator. I purchased a French door Samsung fridge in June 2017. I tried to remove the ice bucket. It was frozen, I called customer service, the fridge was only 3 months old. Samsung sent their appliance tech over to install a new ice bucket. The tech said to unplug the fridge so the ice would melt and he could replace the defective ice bucket. I said, Then the meat & dairy products would spoil. I was told to put it all in the bottom freezer, with dry ice on top. I said, Who will pay for the dry ice. Samsung will reimburse me for the cost of the dry ice. Well that never happened. After numerous phone calls I decided to contact BBB in New Jersey to file a complaint. A rep from Samsung did call after BBB sent them my complaint. Well I got a different story from the Samsung rep. Samsung does not reimburse customers for their out of pocket expenses, even if their fridge is only 3 months old. This is a Billion Dollar Corp. I told the rep and Samsung wont refund me $51.00. RFG237AARS purchases 2/2013. I have a Samsung Range and Dishwasher and havent had any issues with those appliances, but this refrigerator is definitely a lemon. There are quite a few Youtubers out there showing the icing problem. They are chiseling ice blocks off the fridge. The fridge starts making an annoying sound which happens to be the twin cooling fan system hitting the ice. Thats not right. Its disappointing that Samsung is not addressing the issue. I have been able to care for mine periodically and unthaw it from time to time, but its definitely a feature Samsung isnt being upfront about. I’m sure at some point the fan will break because of the issue. I can only imagine what expenses they would try to push onto the consumer(me), and given the age of the refrigerator it isnt worth a $500 repair bill. It doesnt sound like people are having much luck with repair(s) either. Some report multiple repairs yet they still have a dud afterwards.

If you are thinking about buying a Samsung refrigerator dont. This is the worse product ever and I regret buying it. I purchased the product in 2013 from Lowes, they were having a sale so I purchased the refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher. I have not had any problems with the stove but the dishwasher and refrigerator is a whole new ball game. First, there are the filters (which are not cheap) you have to buy every six months to a year for the refrigerator depending on how much you use the water dispenser. Secondly, the ice maker just one day stop making ice and this has been going on for about a year as I refuse to pay almost $500 to a repairman, that the Samsung customer service (who was rude) recommended, for a new ice maker for a refrigerator that I havent had for that long. I can purchase another refrigerator for that price (I mean its only been 3 years. My GE appliances lasted 10 years before I had problems with them). We even had a local repairman come out to take a look at it and he wouldnt touch it because he said that they are too difficult to work on and he also said that he has had several calls about Samsung refrigerators for one thing or another and that only a trained Samsung repair person would be able to fix it but they want too much money. And then there is the dishwasher that seem to always feel wet on the inside even when not in use and it has a smell that I cant describe. I am so disappointed in this product. The biggest regret of my life. So I am warning you Samsung may be good in the cell phone business but their appliances SUCK!!!! I should have just stuck with GE.

Every time I open the freezer drawer, ices will fall out onto my kitchen floor and I can also see there are a lot of ice stuck all the way in the back of the freezer. I either have to use a long stick to brush them out. It is a major headache with Samsung as they are the worst company I have to deal with. Samsung is very unreliable and irresponsible for their products, keep saying they wont fix my refrigerator because 1 year warranty is over. In order for them to fix, they will charge me a fee to come by to take a look at it and any repairs they will do. I see other Samsung models have the similar problems as mine but how come this model of mine isnt on the Class Action Suit Settlement. Please let me know if it is on the settlement as I want Samsung to pay for their bad products.

I have had my gas oven/range (NX58H9500WS) for almost two years. It has worked fine. Suddenly the gas burners were not running properly. Orange flames instead of blue. I had it checked and all of the burners are LEAKING GAS when in the off position! Enough gas, that when the gas man walked into my house with his gas sniffer running, it went off immediately. Thank God we have not blown up by now! I will contact Samsung, but it doesnt look too promising. A $2000 range only good for two years...garbage!! Never Samsung again...NEVER!

Have 2-year-old Samsung side-by-side refrigerator. Ice maker doesnt make enough ice for 2 people. After a month or two, it dies all together. Have it repaired 4 times. Every repair lasts a month or two. I have 2 Samsungs at work - both of them have ice maker problems too. I had to buy an external ice maker and GIVE UP ON SAMSUNG making ice (the fridge is fine, no complaints with that). I would not buy a Samsung again.

We purchased our first French door Samsung refrigerator in 2011 not only because Samsung was a household name and I figured would make appliances that would outlast their warranty period but I also purchased the Samsung because aesthetically they stood out in comparison to other brands. Well I was completely WRONG about the quality and durability of Samsung appliances. Our first refrigerator was still under warranty and had to be replaced in 2015 because they no longer made the parts needed to repair the 4 year old refrigerator. This four year old refrigerator would make a loud humming noise as a result of a faulty fan motor. We made a second poor decision to purchase another Samsung refrigerator thinking they would have improved upon the issues they had with their appliances, but again we were WRONG. The issues were worse, see list of faults below that started in 2016 one year after purchase:1. Massive water leak behind the water dispenser that requires placing a large towel to catch the water to prevent potential slips and/or falls from the water from pooling on the floor. 2. The ice maker only makes a cup full of ice per day even when pressing the Power freeze button. 3. The refrigerator intermittently makes a loud humming noise.See list of actions taken to address the issues our 1 year old refrigerator is having: 1. Defrosted the ice maker by keeping doors open and using a hair dryer in order to speed up the process. 2. Sealed the crack between housing of the ice maker and the refrigerator with waterproof silicone. 3. Purchase 2- 10 lb bags of ice from Buckeyes twice a week. 4. Keep refrigerator door open for extended periods of time in order to stop the humming noise (yes we had food in it at the time) and speed up the defrost process. Even after initiating our own interventions, we continue to have problems with our Samsung refrigerator making a loud intermittent humming noise, making ice, leaking large amounts of water behind the water dispenser. The reason Im taking the time out of my busy day to share with you these issues is because Im disappointed in this product and to prevent you from making the poor decision of purchasing a Samsung refrigerator. Its not worth the money. There is absolutely no reason why anyone should spend thousands of dollars on anything that is proven not to last over 5 years. When I was growing up, my mother kept the same refrigerator from the time I was 10 years old until I graduated college. Of course repairs were required but as stated earlier, this is my second Samsung refrigerator in the span of 4 years.Yes we have a warranty but this refrigerator began to have problems a year after purchase, my expectations of Samsung setting a higher standard when it comes to quality appliances has not been met. We have had to spend time troubleshooting issues on a refrigerator that cant go the 5 year distance and take time from work to have it repaired. BUY SMART BY NOT BUYING A SAMSUNG FRENCH DOOR STAINLESS STEEL REFRIGERATOR.

My microwave (SMH9207) that I never took out of the box until about two months ago has gotten this nice wonderful SE error code. Samsung refuses to fix the microwave. They also are saying I bought the microwave in 2010, but that isnt true. The executive slipped up and told me that they actually go by date of manufacture and add two months to it. Next they just keep saying that they are not going to fix this problem even though you can go look anywhere online and see that they are having problems with all the keypads on their microwaves. Next, the tech support people really dont want to transfer you to anyone higher than them. They are smart ** over that. They are not going to do anything for you. Plus, they act like robots and read off the stuff that they have on the screen, and thats all instead of being like real companies and standing behind their product. I refuse to ever buy anything from them again.

We have had the stove 4 months!! Service tech sent pics. Samsung refused to cover it under warranty. There is no indications that anything was dropped on it. I purchased 4 Samsung appliances for my kitchen and had to repair 3 out of the 4. But by far, the stove has been the worst. Since the beginning, the stove would not keep the set temperature. I would preheat it, it would hit the set temperature and then begin declining after about 5 minutes. Significantly declining- continuously dropping. I had to have a repair person out 3 times to fix it- which meant I had to wait at home 4 hours each time. I was promised a refund 3 different times when they deemed it irreparable. I would be waiting for my refund so I could purchase a different (not Samsung) oven and would call them back only to be told that my refund had been denied (even after receiving refund acceptance texts) for various reasons. They never contacted me to tell me that it had been denied- just left me waiting. Each time, I was asked to resend a different document (receipt, picture of serial number, etc) that I had already sent them previously. Each time I called (a total of 6 times), I had to wait on hold for at least an hour. I would be promised, promised, promised that they would take care of me and then nothing. The last customer service representative I had even refused to read documentation of my experience to explain my frustration. So...the product is faulty and customer service is lacking. Stay far, far away from Samsung appliances. Hopefully, you will learn from my mistake.

We purchased our Samsung RS261MDRS/XAA a Little less than 5 years ago. It has been a nightmare. The first week, we had to call the company because the refrigerator was not cooling properly. We had a technician come by to fix it. Perhaps it was a computer problem. The refrigerator would not cool properly, and the freezer would frost up. The very first years we had several people try to fix the freezing of the back panel problem. We have nursed it along, but less than 5 years of ownership, for the second or third time, we have had to move all of our food elsewhere to keep from losing it. The fan made a loud clatter, then nothing. Food kept getting warmer - who knows whats safe, so we had to throw it all away again! Samsung is over their head with refrigerators- cell phones, not so much. Buy at your own risk.

This was perfect. All was great the first year, then the ice maker quit working. It was extremely difficult to open and when we did it was jammed with ice cubes and ice on the side and frozen ice on the bottom. Had to use a ice pick and hot water to clear it out. When we looked online we found many complaints regarding the same issue. Now EVERY 2 weeks it freezes up. It takes 18 hours to get ice again after I spend 30 minutes clearing and cleaning it out. The amount of ice it produces is very small. I regret this purchase. Don’t buy it unless you don’t need ice.

Im in for a class action suit. The company has ripped a lot of people off and should have a complete recall on these units. My new dishwasher does not dry dishes. Funny, the sales person never mentioned this. Do not expect any customer service from the Appliance Factory/Brand Source. They do not return calls and they do not stand behind the products they sell. There were hidden charges upon delivery, which is not free. I can only hope that other consumers do not make my mistake in going with this small guy store. I will stick to the big box stores from now on since they at least offer responsive customer service. The appliances were not cheaper at Brand Source and they lied about actual delivery charges. If you’re satisfied with only having your dishwasher wash your dishes and do not mind drying them yourself, then this WaterWall Samsung Dishwasher is for you. Dont buy a Samsung Refrigerator!!! Our Samsung has been the worst of worst. Two months after we bought a $3000.00 one the whole electric panel went out. Everything thawed out. They kept playing games about paying for the lost food. They never did reimburse us. Ours broke down 4 times in 2 years. We also had to replace both of the ice makers. One of them 3 times because the water leaks underneath it and freezes the mechanism that turns the ice out. Then when you try to get ice from the dispenser it cracks the ice maker and it has to be replaced. The water also leaks down in the inside of the refrigerator and runs under the storage bins and then on the floor when you open up the fridge. After replacing it 3 times we just dont use it.Samsung does not stand behind their products. Even though our fridge was without doubt a lemon they never replaced it. They play constant games of lost paperwork and unbelievable stalls until you just give up and pay to have it fixed yourself. The problem is they can stall forever but you cant go without a fridge. My daughter bought the same model as ours and she has had a lot of the same problems. They never fixed hers either. Never will I buy a Samsung product again!!!

SAMSUNG RS22HDHPNSR Counter-Depth Side by Side Refrigerator - Do yourself a favor, when researching what brand of refrigerator to buy, EXCLUDE Samsung from your list. After a year of purchasing this fridge from Best Buy, the unit stopped working. Fortunately my husband registered the fridge on Samsungs website and got an extended warranty of 3 addl months. After dealing with the terrible customer service and finally got the right repairman in, the repairman couldnt exactly tell us what was wrong with it. He said I think there is a leak so Ill repair that, but it could break down again today, tomorrow, next week, next month. That did not leave us with much comfort. So, here we are a few weeks later, and the fridge stopped cooling, AGAIN. Yet again, we are wasting our time explaining the situation to Samsung, then to have another service guy come out again which is scheduled a week from now because theyre all booked probably because they are trying to fix other lemons from Samsung. I dont know whats going to happen with this fridge, but my advice for those looking to buy a fridge or any appliances is DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG! Youll waste your precious time and money. Not worth it.

I bought Samsung model RF30HBEDBSR 2 years ago. The French door, fridge on top, and freezer double drawer on the bottom with a bonus drawer between that can vary the temp/use. On the one yr anniversary the ice maker made mushy, crushed-only ice. Samsung customer service sent me the door part free and scheduled a repair guy of their choosing. NOOO. Over twice the going rate. I hired someone else. Six months later the ice maker itself (cleverly placed IN THE REFRIGERATOR) froze over. I defrosted it with my blow dryer occasionally for the next 6 months. I tried to hire someone to evaluate/fix it and was told by the first 6 that they either dont fix Samsung fridges or never the ice maker. Huh? Finally someone let me in on a poorly kept secret (except by Samsung who believe they walk on water), their ice makers are overly complicated pieces of junk, frequently unfixable. We replaced the entire ice maker body (part ordered through Sears) and after spending almost 2 hours melting enough ice to be able to remove the original part, put the new one in in 15 minutes. I was told that this is almost always a failure in the computer chip in this part, resulting in water continuing to flow after the tray is full... Ice build-up-hell. Cost me $154 plus the part Id bought and weeks of 7/11 ice. Supposedly these fail between 2 months and 2 years. And all the replacement parts are just the same as the original! Rinse, repeat. OMG! I spent $1,500 at Best Buy plus over $400 in the 1st 2 years already. I have never had to have any prior fridge need repair in 30 years! I replaced them every 10 or so years for newer better models. Until now... I will never ever buy a product from Samsung as long as I live. I even hated the one phone of theirs. I didnt mention the HOURS I spent trying to deal with customer service.

Today, a month later, the second set of parts ordered were also wrong and I was told that Samsung shipped the wrong parts once again. Samsung cant be contacted nor expedite the parts. The service provider indicated that Samsung has a poor parts department and is not responsive to the consumers need to quickly obtain parts to repair its products. The part needed is now on order once again and I am not optimistic that Samsung is capable of delivering the proper part for its product. I was told that Samsung has many victims experiencing this same issue and simply doesnt care about the consumer.

Bought my Samsung Microwave ME21F707MJT alongside the Samsung slide in range 2 months ago and recently installed it over the weekend. Ive used it about 3-4 times to heat up some food and once before to make some popcorn. Well this time around I went to make some popcorn using the preset popcorn button as usual and went to the bedroom. After a few minutes I smelled burning smoke and sent my friend to check on the popcorn. She screamed out my name and I went running to the kitchen only to see the microwave in flames. I put it out with a wet tshirt I had used to clean something off the countertop with. Disaster averted.Called BestBuy, BestBuy transferred me to Samsung. Samsung was more worried if I was injured or had property damage. Gave me a ticket number like others before and said I would get a call back within 24hrs. (9:15 am) Finally got a call from Samsung at around 3:00 pm the following day and again, they seem more worried if I was injured or incurred property damage. I was told that a service agent would be scheduled to come to my house and service the microwave. Yep, you read right. Service my microwave. I told her politely that I am a loyal Samsung customer with Samsung phones, tvs, tablets, gas range and microwave, and that I DO NOT want a repaired, serviced dysfunctional microwave that caught on fire and is liable to do so again and Samsung should be happy that this incident wasnt worst than it was and that they should be more than willing to replace a burnt up microwave. She said that was not how Samsung warranty works.

We bought a Samsung French door refrigerator and 6 months later the ice maker stopped working. We have placed services calls 3 times and it still doesnt work. I would give a zero rating if there was one. We had a warranty but they terminated our warranty because they couldnt fix it and didnt want to replace it. This is the worst company I have ever purchased from and will never buy any Samsung product again.

Purchased this refrigerator (Model RS 22HDHPNSR/AA) 2nd week of June 2015.
Purchased this refrigerator (Model RS 22HDHPNSR/AA) 2nd week of June 2015. Looking at past reviews for the same issue we have it looks like the issue has never been addressed by Samsung. First call to CS met with a very good, polite agent that handled the phone call with real professionalism. Explained that the ice maker was not making ice now after 4 weeks. He explained how to reset the ice maker and if no ice within 24 hrs. then call back and they will send a tech out. This was Friday at 7 pm so he told me to call back tomorrow (Saturday) around 7 pm to report results. Well after 24 hours, no ice, so I pick up the phone to call back and explain, Still no ice. Youre not going to believe what time they close on Saturday -- 6 pm!!! Well lets see what they say when I call back on Monday.
