We purchased a Samsung (Mod RF267AB) French door refrigerator, and within 18 months, we had issues with water pooling in the pan under the deli pullout drawer. Since we had an extended warranty through Lowes, we had it fixed. Since that time, the same problem has been fixed two more times with no success. (Each visit has been a different repair guy, so no commonality there.) The last time, the technician also adjusted the level and tilted the fridge back saying that may help it drain! Starting yesterday, the upper cooling fan has begun growling. I need to call Lowes service to get them out again, and of course, it’s also not draining again. When we originally researched the unit, we consulted the leading consumer products reporting magazines article on refrigerators at the time where it was a top rated model along with the GE model we looked at, which apparently was the same one manufactured by Samsung for GE. Im very disappointed by this experience and also by the ratings assigned by the consumer magazine.

Samsung Model RFG297HDWP/XAA. The unit is a three door bottom freezer I purchased in November of 2013 from Sears. I had the ice maker repaired once and then replaced. It is Junk and a terrible flaw in design. In addition the Fridge has shut down at least Three times for no apparent reason. I came home one evening and opened the door to find the lights working but it seemed warm. I have two thermometers installed which showed the interior temp at 60 degrees. I opened the freezer drawer and that was also not cold. I hit the Digital display and it showed the set point at 36 and after a few seconds flashed the actual reading of 60 degrees - Freezer flashed a reading of 30 degrees. I called Samsung tech support and did what they asked me to do. I unplugged it for over a minute. Plugged it back in. Nothing. I put it in power cool mode. Nothing. After around 30 minutes I heard the compressor kick in. Amazing. This has happened three times that I know of... I was gone for three months last summer. Who knows?? I had purchased the master Protection Agreement from Sears, Thank God. A service Tech came out and just so he didnt think I was crazy. I took a video of the digital displayed temperature readings. He was here for more than two hours, ordered several boards and said to call when the boards arrived. They arrived and I called and a different Service Tech came out and tried to install the boards only to tell me they were the wrong parts and he didnt think the fridge needed both boards anyway. I told him That I would rather he change out both than take a chance and that maybe Sears should communicate with the first tech on this issue of what boards need to be replaced. I am not confident that this will solve the problem. It is a Manufacturing defect and Samsung should be held liable.Updated on 10/31/2016: I just had the fridge repaired on October 19, 2016. The fridge would shut down randomly for no apparent reason. The Sears tech diagnosed and ordered two new circuit boards. Eleven days later the problem came back. This time it is tripping the circuit breaker when shutting down. The one thing that is different now is the motor or fan is constantly running for hours and hours before the shutdown and the tripped breaker. I called Samsung and they are of no help. When will they help us consumers who are stuck with lemons that have cost them over two thousand dollars.

In reading recent posts, I realized that I am not alone in my dissatisfaction and anger over my relatively new Samsung refrigerator. First, upon purchase, it took over three months for delivery, despite the fact that I was told it was in stock at the time. After a year and a half, the ice maker broke. Then it started to warm up and then it sounded as if it was ready to explode. Repair service after repair service was called. Its been three months and Samsung is not delivering, not making part to repair. This has been the worst purchase I have ever made. Buyer beware, proceed with caution!

We bought Samsung side by around May 2012. It has had several issues beginning almost immediately. The front panel went out twice and during the second time all the food spoiled. The technician had the nerve to say it was our fault because someone had to hold the buttons on the panel for it to go off. When I told him we were sleeping and woke up to this issue, he called us liars. Then a few months later this crappy appliance began making a horrible noise. This time a motor had to be replaced. So for two days we had to defrost it, so no food in our house for 4 days (2 to defrost/ 2 to get cold enough for food). So today, not even 3 years later, a tech came out and said the entire rear panel of the freezer and all components behind it need to be replaced. When is enough, enough? We are so angry they just wont replace this crappy Samsung refrigerator. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG APPLIANCE!!!

I have a Samsung fridge that constantly has fluids in the veggie bins and underneath them. At times it will freeze then thaw and has cracked one of the bins. The company has received a repair ticket in Aug. 2014 and I am still getting the run around about a refund for literally way under price paid ($2300+) just shy of $600 and they keep assuring me someone from a higher-up dept. will contact me today every time I call (they did have a office of the PRESIDENTS contact me but again empty assurance) and just press in extensions till I receive a live person. I have health issues that only allow me to eat organic produce and I cant keep them in the fridge so my health now is struggling and the company is well aware of this and offered a $300 dollar food refund for Aug. till now, but again I havent seen a penny just promises and transfers and the customer service (refund dept.) are rude and has told me I need to pull the fridge out to cut the cord send them a certified package with it and then in 14 Business Days they will issue tour refund but it can take 7-10 business days for it to clear. I would steer CLEAR of Samsung if I were you. Its not worth the frustration they will put you through!

Upon removing all of the packing tape from my brand new Samsung range, the many problems were revealed. Outer panels were not attached properly (one side held together with the packing tape), behind that panel, another completely detached piece of sheet metal, and the oven light was dangling from its wires. Upon the discovery of this possible electrical hazard, I decided not to risk plugging it in. Now I have a useless range in my kitchen, a fridge full of highly perishable foods to cook, and no resolution for several days... I just have to sit with it and wait for someone for Home Depot to call me back. I assume I will have to take another day off work to await pick-up (Samsung lost my confidence, replacement is not an option). I should have learned this lesson last year when my brand new Samsung phone needed warranty work after two weeks of ownership. I now ask the questions; what is the true cost of this transaction? How much money and personal time will this cost me? Will Samsung compensate me for any of that? After all, it was their carelessness and lack of quality control that lead to this. They could redeem themselves with an appropriate offer, however, based on what Ive read about Samsung CS, its not likely. Goodbye forever Samsung... Thats one Titanic Id like to see sinking.

We have the Samsung French door with freezer on the bottom. The freezer handle keeps coming off. Weve had it for two years and never hooked up the ice maker until last month. The ice is unusable due to a horrific taste. There is no internal filter so we installed an external one. No difference in the horrible taste. Also, since hooking up the water line we have moisture in both of the slide out drawers above the freezer, ruining the produce. Would never recommend this refrigerator.

Samsung Refrigerator model RF267AABP/XAA - I purchased this refrigerator in 2009. Within three months, the icemaker began to give trouble. I called for repairs and was forwarded to some service agent who never called. This occurred on two occasions. On my third call, I was sent to another service company who wanted $175 to replace the ice maker. Needless to say, the warranty had run out by this time, and Samsung refused to warranty the product, even though I was in contact with them within the 1 year warranty period. I also have had issues with Samsung hard drives I purchased for my office, and all failed. I also have a laptop with issues. I have recommended to my family never to purchase another Samsung product.

RE: Samsung refrigerator, Model # RF26J7500. We had the ice maker repaired as it was leaking and the ice was slushy. Ice would build up in the maker and had to be chopped out. The ice maker drawer sticks/freezes and is difficult to pull out. It is cracked. Items in the back of the refrigerator were also freezing. The repairman also fixed the wheels on the pull out drawer because they kept falling off. The drawer has never worked correctly. The cover is cracked, it sicks and rubs against the plastic on the sides. This is causing white shavings and dust particles. This is a huge concern as it is a SAFETY HAZARD. The dust and shavings are getting on items in our refrigerator. Ingestion of this plastic is obviously toxic. In addition, we have two cracked door bins. I called Samsung today. After being told the drawer and bins are not covered, I asked for a supervisor. The associate came back on the phone and stated the supervisor also said it is not covered. I asked again to speak with a supervisor and was put on hold again. The associate came back on and stated they would replace the broken items. I requested my concerns be documented well, and reiterated my disbelief that Samsung has not recalled this refrigerator. Both the store I purchased the refrigerator from and the repair technician stated that Samsung refrigerators are notorious for these issues and they receive continual complaints from Samsung customers.

I was cooking dinner on the cooktop. I looked down and saw that the front glass of the oven door was completely shattered. One front element on the top was on medium heat as I made dinner. I had not used the oven in several days. I had not banged or even touched the oven door. Is it still safe to use the cooktop? We immediately went to the electrical box and shut off the breaker as we didnt know what had caused the glass to break when there wasnt any heat in the oven. We have called Sears and they will send out a repairman sometime in the next 24 to 48 hours. In the meantime I am without a stove and will have to use the microwave or barbecue to prepare meals.

I did not do any research. Shame on me! Freezes up below crisper drawers. I did as suggested on previous posts - emptied everything, cleaned and removed ice from panel, vents and everything. I used a hair dryer to melt everything faster. I had temp a few degrees lower than recommended, but then I set to the recommendation. Two months later, big ice below the drawers - not in the vents (yet, I would assume). Bottom line, do not spend $2,000 on Samsung products. Unfortunately, I have to condemn the whole company. As someone did post, lets get a class action. There too, the lawyers get all the money and we get small compensation.

This dishwasher is an expensive piece of garbage. I bought it this higher end one thinking it would last a long time. Silly me. Its barely 4 yrs old and is of course out of warranty (a generous 1 yr!) and has an electronic issue causing it to empty and shut down. No one works on Samsung appliances. Sooo, you have to contact them. My understanding is parts are expensive and not easy to obtain. Who would expect a basically new dishwasher was well cared for to break? Ive got a $20 Mr. Coffee maker thats older than this $650.00 dishwasher that still works. Never. Again.

I purchased this microwave (M/W) Microwave Model SMH9187ST/XAA a little over three years ago. First, after a few months of use the turntable stopped working. I could fix it myself with not much expense. Thanks to Youtube. Then after a few months the handle broke. By this time the M/W was over one year old. So, I called the customer service. Since it was already a few weeks over one year, they refused to take care of it. I then fixed it myself. The next was the Touch Panel which stopped working. I called Samsung Tech support who again refused to take care of the problem. So, I purchased the Touch Panel and fixed it again. Now the inside light stays on 24/7 and fan comes on the moment door is closed. Only way to stop it from running is unplug every time I am done using the M/W. Again, I called Samsung. As at least some of you have experienced, it takes minimum 30 minutes for someone to pick up your phone. Again, they refused to take care of the problem and said a service tech would call me to set up an appointment at my cost. Since then I called over 7 times in the past two weeks (I kept a log), nobody called back. Finally after a testy conversation, I asked them to give me their service techs number and I called them myself to set up an appointment. Now waiting for the service tech to show up and give me the dreaded figure for repair or pay the service charge. Will NEVER buy Samsung appliance again. BTW: My Stainless Steel Fridge which I bought at the same time also started giving problems after a year, no solutions from Samsung on that too.

Samsung dishwasher model DMT400 stainless steel inside and out. Had for 2 yrs & 3 months. Kept stopping. Code stated it was a water problem. Nace came 4 times, replaced 3 parts. Later stated they could not fix my dishwasher. The dishwasher looks good but it is worthless. I called Lowes, they say sorry you didnt buy the extended warranty. I called Samsung, they said sorry, it is your problem. My book states there is a Samsung 5 yr warranty on the circuit board. How disappointing. I just bought a new refrigerator 3 months ago. It is a Samsung. I hope it doesnt let me down. I will never buy a Samsung product again. There is not one local to fix these appliances. I just had to buy another dishwasher and it is not a Samsung.

The dishwasher failed the first time last year in April, 17. We were on vacation... Kids shut off machine and shut off breaker in electric panel as noise would not stop. I came home and tried machine and it worked fine. Used machine normally for a few washes and the LE error occurred. This has happened every week since. Local repair companies do not want to come and fix it... Same comment... Its a Samsung... No thanks! (Universal and Totem Appliance Repair). Went online and found weird solutions due to moisture issue around motor which causes the LE error and unit to fail. Need to leave machine off with Electric Breaker off as well. Needs to be off for several days and up to a week!!! Sometimes as is this week. Very frustrating as The Brick (now Leons owned) sold us this unit after our original purchase of a Brick House model failed after three months of use. No refund but had store credit to purchase another unit. We bought the Samsung as it seemed to have the best features... Top rack... water wall... ultra quiet etc. Pretty useless features when you cant use the machine for days and weeks at a time!!! After having A Maytag for 14 years with no issues till a recall issue had a service tech ruin the machine. We then purchased the new model Samsung DW80H993 SERIES. The 5 Year Warranty sold us... So much for that. Never again. With no support from Samsung locally and authorized dealers that will not come out fix the problem as it is a design flaw I will buy other models.

Okay, bought this fridge/freezer six years ago. Worst thing ever bought. When it was two years and two months old, the fan sounded like it was taking off, and you could see that there was ice forming around that area of the fridge. Thankfully, I have a husband that is skilled enough to take the thing to pieces. Then involved defrosting the iced-up fan with a hairdryer (took ages) until the ice melted. Then trying to dry the now wet polystyrene lining and putting it back together. He wasnt happy. I think that lasted one year, and the process has to be repeated every time we hear the fan trying to belt its way out the back of the fridge. We are now down to every three months, and well and truly over it.What a dog of a unit. I still love the layout and the ease of the fridge, but what use is something that needs major attention every three months. Fingers crossed nothing has happened to the freezer side of the unit as yet. At present, as I sit here typing, all my food is in chilly bins, a heater is busy at the fridge door, warming the ice so that it will melt. The worst thing is knowing that that this will happen again, and again, until we dump the thing and say goodbye to a $2,200.00 purchase that should have had years of life in it. My husband reckons the people in charge of the design should be dealt to very roughly.

We purchased our Samsung refrigerator 4 years ago as new homeowners. Towards the beginning of July this year, we started having issues with the freezer not keeping things frozen - ice cream melting, meat thawing, etc. After trying the recommendations in the manual and unplugging it to reset it per Samsung, it seemed like our problem was fixed... for about a week. So I called Samsung again. On July 21, a technician from one of their service centers, MidAmerica, came out and discovered our sealed refrigeration system was leaking (evaporator & compressor - attached is a picture of the evaporator; all the coils are supposed to be covered in ice and only the top one of ours is due to the loss of coolant)... he also informed us that the sealed refrigeration system was still under warranty (5 year warranty stated in manual). However, he couldnt fix it because he supposedly just moved to our state and didnt have the insurance/licensure to carry the parts... a little fishy, but he said we should be able to call Samsung and they will find a trained technician to fix it. Turns out - Samsung has no trained technicians for sealed refrigeration systems in our area, so they told us to find our own and they will reimburse us but only if the technician we found diagnosed the same problem... okay? So we call Mr. Appliance and they were fantastic! They came out on 7/30. They diagnosed the SAME problem but stated it would be over $2000 to fix it. They also informed us it was probably only a matter of time until our fresh food side stopped keeping things cool too. We were shocked. The refrigerator did not even cost that much to begin with and we also dont have $2000 lying around. So I contact Samsung again, spoke with a girl named Brady. I offered to email her the quote as well as our proof of purchase to show that it seemed ridiculous that we were going to repair a refrigerator under a manufacturers warranty for more than it was worth when we bought it. She put me on hold for a brief moment and came back to say we just needed to pay it and Samsung would reimburse us (mind you, there has never been anything in writing stating they would reimburse us... theyre expecting us to just go on their word). Refused to let me email the quote to them and also refused to let me speak to a supervisor about the issue. She stated a supervisor would email me... which never happened. In the meantime, we called Mr. Appliance about ordering the parts and they stated it would probably take over a month to get the compressor from Samsung... so my fiance calls Samsung to inform them of this. In our minds, it should not take a month (possibly longer) to get a warranty issue fixed! Asks to speak to a supervisor, on the phone for over an hour and talks to three separate people who are not supervisors and just keep saying its their policy to have us pay this exorbitant amount of money and expect them to reimburse us. We suggested that they just replace the refrigerator - they keep indirectly saying they will find a way to get the issue resolved. They say a supervisor will call us back in 24-48 hours... we wait 3 business days and havent heard anything, so I call them on 8/6. I spoke with Michael, who was very nice and genuinely seemed shocked that it was taking this long to get this fixed. He actually wanted me to email him the receipts and proof of purchase unlike Brady and stated they would be calling Mr. Appliance since they were the only people who said they could truly fix it. We were relieved. This was short-lived however because the next day they assign our ticket to MidAmerica AGAIN and some other local company (J&D) who had already told us they dont have someone trained in sealed refrigeration systems. By this time, I am irate. I call again and tell them to refer to the images of the receipts I sent, associated with the ticket number from my phone call on 8/6 with Michael. Gregory tells me there are no images with that ticket number. I felt like I was going crazy! These people are ridiculous. They are like robots every time you call - there is no history of ongoing issues, they close ticket numbers before the problem is resolved and just open a new one every time. They give you the run-around and obviously no one truly cares about resolving your problem. I submitted the images again and am still waiting on another phone call. If this product wasnt still under a manufacturers warranty, I wouldve been done weeks ago. It has affected our quality of life from the stress and time weve put into this and weve spent more money than anticipated on going out to eat and frequent grocery trips for fresh food. I feel defeated. I wish there was a no star option. It is somewhat comforting to see that so many other people have had issues with their Samsung refrigerators, as well as their customer service department, but also so unfortunate. I would NOT recommend any of their products to anyone at this point. I would never want anyone else to go through this like we have. Please consider this review (I know its long - sorry! ), as well as all the others, before purchasing a Samsung product.

We own a beautiful top of the line 4-door Samsung refrigerator which we’ve had for one year. Now we need to wait several weeks for the part to arrive and were told that we need to empty the refrigerator and freezer two days prior to the repair and keep it off and empty for 2 days post repair to allow the epoxy to dry! How shameful that such an excessive amount of money is charged for a poor, inexcusable refrigerator. DON’T BUY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS!!!

I installed a Samsung refrigerator 15 months ago and now it keeps flipping into demo mode. The freezer seems to work but not the main Customer Service said they cant extend my warranty to cover this one issue because it has been out of warranty for too long. Seriously, 3 months for a $2400.00 refrigerator. Of course, I am going to pay to have it repaired. I advise anyone considering a Samsung fridge not to or pay for the extended warranty.

We purchased this fridge new one month ago, and after repeated attempts by the Samsung authorized repair company, the fridge will still get no colder than 45F. The freezer portion works fine but not the fridge area. I would caution Anyone even considering this fridge to run like the wind to another brand. We liked the size of the unit, but we are bitterly disappointed. It remains to be seen how Samsung will resolve this situation, but we are not hopeful of an easy resolution.

I called Home Depot and they REFUSED to assist in any way. I called the contracted Samsung repair company and 12 days later they came to repair it. They did not have the necessary part and had to return another week later... only to not have the Freon to complete the repair. Here I am 8 months later with a broken refrigerator. It is not even a year since purchasing!

We have a two year old french door model. The ice maker dispenser mechanism seems to get frosted up and stops dispensing cubes. When cubes are selected it wont allow the cubes to drop. It just drops small chunks, you can hear it grinding away. The crushed side works fine. We remove and empty the bin and allow the mechanism to dry out. After reinstalling the mechanism it frosts up within a couple of days. This just started about 4-5 months ago. There are no other frosting in the freezer. Ive read many other ice maker complaints with Samsung.

Samsung Microwave SMH8165ST - 1 mo ago a potato caught fire on the baked potato setting. Samsung stated I was out of warranty because microwave was purchased 2 yrs ago. I refused an out of pocket service call. Samsung called back 1 wk later asked about any personal or property damage & asked if I would want someone to come out free of charge to repair or replace (if irreparable). After 3 repair visits (not counting the 4 appts that were cancelled/rescheduled after the 2 hr wait EACH TIME). Samsung stated the repair guy had to come out again to troubleshoot w/ a Samsung engineer on the phone. I explained that the repair guy did that @ the last appt, Samsung stated there was no record of it. I also stated that I was aware of the recall involving buttons on the panel sticking. They said I had to make another appt. I refused, spoke to another 2 managers & after 55 min on the phone was offered $130 voucher/check. I was told that was what they could offer w depreciation on the microwave for the last 2 yrs. AND that the microwave costs about $190, so it wasnt so bad. The microwave costs $240 plus. I am glad I do not have to deal w/ them & their incompetent repair outsourcing. I am also glad my children werent the ones using the microwave when the fire occurred. I WILL NEVER BUY SAMSUNG AGAIN. DW80H9930US - My Samsung dishwasher was installed on October 25, 2014. The first call for repair was made on December 5th for a persistent water leak from the bottom of the door. The repair was made on Dec. 26th in which the venting system in the door was replaced. The next repair call was made on Dec. 31st for the same water leaking problem. The repair was made on Jan. 9, 2015 in which the venting system gasket was reseated. The next repair call was made Jan. 10th for the same water leaking issue from the bottom of the door. On Jan. 16th, the service man placed an order for a door latch replacement. On February 6th, the door latch mechanism was replaced. Water leaking and the door popping open without error codes mid-cycle continued. The most recent repair took place on March 14th, where the repairman replaced the whole door. No more water leaking has been noticed, however, one month after this repair, the door continues to pop open mid-cycle without any error codes. The time remaining does appear and flashes. I close the door, and it starts up again and with fingers crossed it finishes, but not without multiple door popping open episodes. Ive checked the strainer in the base and its not clogged with food particles. The top rack does roll forward, and Ive seen another posting about it becoming disconnected from the sprayer mounting at the back of the dishwasher wall. Perhaps this is the reason the dishwasher continues to stop mid-cycle without displaying error codes. My anger is with Samsung, not with P.C. Richard & Sons performance. I dont know, but one thing is for sure, when my 5 year warranty has expired (thank God, I had the smarts to purchase one), this dishwasher is going to the curb and I will NEVER buy another Samsung appliance, nor will I recommend their products to anyone!Updated on 09/25/2015: the dishwasher seemed fixed after the whole door replacement back in March 2015, however, it has begun leaking again (mid-August 2015) from the lower left area at the bottom of the door (the same area where it leaked from the start).

We recently purchased a Samsung side-by-side refrigerator (Model#RS22HDHPNSR/AA) back in June from hhgregg. According to the date on the inside panel the refrigerator was built sometime in January 2014. We purchased the unit June 2014 and it’s barely six months later and the refrigerator stopped working! That refrigerator wasn’t cheap in price but obviously that wasn’t the case when it came to its assembly. The refrigerator died on us this past Saturday, October 11, 2014 and I put in a repair request online Sunday via the Samsung website. As I had put all the details required to get the process moving, imagine my surprise when those same details were requested yet again when someone finally got around to calling. So once again I sent the information via the website and my personal email. After sending the information again I was under the impression that a repair person would be sent out ASAP to remedy the malfunctioning refrigerator problem but I was wrong. A repair person didnt show up until Thursday October 16, 2014, five days later. Let me reiterate - five days have passed with us being without a working refrigerator. The repairman arrived before 12pm. He proceeded to inform my mother that he was told that if the refrigerator could be repaired he would repair it. He told us that it would take two to four hours to fix the problem. He checked various aspects of the refrigerator and spoke with someone that I assume was a representative of the Samsung company via his company phone and shortly thereafter around 1:15pm, he went outside. We assumed he went to his truck to retrieve the necessary materials or tools to fix the problem and we haven’t seen the repairman since!!! So, not only have we been without a working refrigerator six days but to add insult to injury the person that the company sent out to repair the malfunctioning unit has left us in a lurch without so much as a word!My mother has been on the phone with numerous company reps since Monday and we have yet to have this situation resolved. The last person she spoke with today (10-17-14) said someone would be out Monday. I wont believe it until I see it. I am quite disgusted with Samsung and personally will NEVER purchase product they create.

Our Samsung fridge (model RF28K9380SR1AP) was not making ice for at least a month and prior to that when it did make ice, it could never keep up. We were 1 month out of warranty when I called about it. I paid $100 to have a repair company out who found that the issue was related to a manufacturer defect. The fill line to the ice maker was in too far so not allowing the fan to cool the line and make ice. I called Samsung back to notify them of what the company found and thought they should reimburse my $100, but they didnt even consider it. I bought this Samsung Refrigerator RF28HFEDBSR/aa in Nov 2014. The freezer door handle insert failed in Dec 2016. I have spent 2 months working with a repair tech, Samsung parts, and Samsung (Lack of) Customer. This small approximately $10 part has been discontinued. The only option is to spend $389 for a new freezer door and $125 to install it. My service tech (5 star rated) reported he spoke to the Samsung techs and determined Samsung has known about this problem for several years. It appears sells products with known defects, but does not want to support the customers. He also reported there are other Samsung parts which have been discontinued for relatively new units. The scroll compressor has a 10 year warranty. What good is that warranty if the rest of the refrigerator falls apart? By the way, the local authorized Samsung service company received an F rating from the BBB.

I purchased the Samsung RF217ACBP refrigerator two years ago from Sears. Slowly over time the ice maker is making less and less ice (a few ice wedges per day). Over the last two months, we have been getting water collecting in the bottom of the crisper drawers every day. Changed humidity settings on the crisper drawers and varied the temp setting of the refrigerator to no avail. Refrigerator is out of warranty so Im not willing to spend large sums of money to have service repair of the unit. From what I am reading, this may not even result in a permanent fix of the problems. Will empty the unit tomorrow and try the troubleshooting ideas I found online. I wouldnt recommend this refrigerator to anyone.

I wish I had read these reviews before I purchased my Samsung DMT 400 that the appliance company told me was state of the art. I too have suffered the smell, the failure to drain, and the 50-50 chance that the soap would not dispense. I guess I just tolerated it until the lights started blinking. The company tells me based on the sequence of lights that I have a Low Level Water Error. Of course because the machine is more than a year old, the repair is on me. Even though they can diagnose the problem over the phone, no authorized Samsung repair shop will even give me a rough estimate as to the cost of repair, the cost for a different brand of machine new is about $400...the cost of the service call is $99. Sounds like a no brainer, but I guess this little repair will cost me a couple of hundred dollars and likely the dishes will still stink. No more Samsung appliances ever, its clearly not their core competency.

About 6 months after purchasing and installing our OTR Samsung microwave, the popcorn setting began to burn up the bags of popcorn so we quit using that setting. Then roughly 8 months later (and after the warranty ran out) our microwave started to turn itself off and give an SE error message. After doing this for three or four times, the front panel just went out and never came back on regardless of our attempts to revive it.I went online and began to research the problem and it is very obvious that this is an inherent problem with Samsung OTR microwaves despite their previous top rating. And most of the reports state that the replacement costs are prohibitive and the replacement parts also malfunction. Now we are stuck with a $350.00 piece of junk and it is not even 1 1/2 years since the purchase! Planned obsolescence? I bought this microwave because it was highly rated and because it matched my other Samsung kitchen appliances. Oh well, I cant get my money back and it doesnt make any sense to repair it - so it goes to the landfill. Ridiculous! I wont buy another one, but I do wish that everyone knew about the issues with these microwaves prior to even considering this brand of microwave oven, especially because this is an ongoing problem and Samsung is well aware of it.

We bought a Samsung dishwasher (Model # DW80K705045) in March 2017 from Lowes, after 15 years with a Bosch. Looking back now we should have done our research. We would have seen all the bad reviews. Christmas Eve the dishwasher went into failure mode. “Leak in System”. Within a few days the dishwasher worked again but 3 days later the same thing happened. It took 12 days for a repairman to come and determine the problem. We were told it would be a huge job that required a full day, the dishwasher motor would have to be rebuilt on my kitchen floor, and no guarantees that the repair would work. This repair will require my husband to take a day off from work. Fast forward to 3/20 and we still do not have the part. According to Lowe’s the part has been in for 2 weeks now and we have not been able to schedule a repair. We are unable to use a different repair company because this is the one Lowe’s contracts out to. The dishwasher can only be run with few dishes and on short cycle. We don’t know when it will go out again. Numerous calls to Lowe’s and Samsung have gone nowhere. Neither company will back up the product. Samsung will not replace the dishwasher until 2 attempts to fix it have been made. Lowes won’t offer a refund because we have to go through Warranty service for the first year of owning the product. The Warranty is through Samsung. Totally disgusted and frustrated.

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator RF263AEBP in 7/2010 from PC Richards. The extend warranty I purchased has ended and the rubber sealant on my doors is just peeling off. I called Samsung to let them know that is not common for a 3 year old refrigerator and was told that the manufacture warranty of one year was over. I told them this is a workmanship issue. You would not expect the rubber sealant to be peeling off for no reason on both my french doors and my freezer. I escalated my call to the Executive Relationship Department and was basically told it was my problem and they could schedule me for an out of warranty appointment that I would have to pay for or I could purchase a Samsung Protection Plus warranty plan that would then cover the repair. I am disgusted with the reply from Samsung. A basically new refrigerator not even four years old should not be coming apart like that especially when its not an exposed area. Purchased Samsung Refrigerator in April of 2019, by Sept of 2019 freezer stopped working, a week later refrigerator stopped working. Called samsung and they sent out 2 different repair places, first one told us it was a sealed system and they did not work on those. Called Samsung back and asked them to replace the refrigerator they said they would have to try to repair first and unless there was a second problem that came up they would not replace it. Well that second problem was the refrigerator stopped cooling, I placed a thermometer that I purchased in refrigerator and took pictures, of temperature. The thermometer said 48 degrees while Samsung digital readout said it was 34 degrees. We lost over $400 dollars with of food and we see that Samsung will possibly reimburse up to $200 (maybe). Second repair person came out and said that he could not fix problem today that he would have to order parts which would take 3-5 days to get then schedule another appointment to do a temporary fix, he said he would recharge the system and then when we saw a temperature change of 10 degrees to call them and they would send a tech back out to attempt to find the leak. He stated that once they found the leak they would have to order parts and schedule another appointment to fix said it could take 2-3 weeks. All he did was take down serial number and model number never even checked out to see if he could find a problem. I called Samsung back and they did their Usual BS trying to get me to wait on repairs that could take another 2-3 weeks. I told her how about I come to your house and take your refrigerator away and you have nothing to store food in would that be an inconvenience. She said I understand your frustration but there is nothing I can do. I asked to speak to supervisor and she finally approved to replace the refrigerator said it would take approximately 7-14 days to get a replacement. Their Customer service Sucks. I bought a Samsung stove - cost over $1000 for dual ovens (when the slide in partition is used). It has always been ridiculously slow to reach cooking temperature - I have long since given up and just throw the food in and hope for the best. Its usually about 10 minutes to reach 350 degrees. The real problem started when I was broiling toast - happily I was watching it so when the back of stove caught fire I was there to shut everything down and hit the breaker. A huge circuit board caught fire and melted and destroyed all the wiring too. I waited weeks for a technician who charged me $260 (through Samsungs site) and it worked again, but constantly makes clicking noises. The tech said this was normal!!! (It was clicking while he there.) I guess he thinks Im stupid! Now the convection fan comes on without turning on the convection side and keeps running with the door is open. WHAT A PIECE OF JUNK!!! Good chance that my house would burned. SHAME ON SAMSUNG. Theyve ignored the fire issue for years.

We spent big dollars on this fridge and expected quality. We are a couple and have not put a lot of use on this fridge. At exactly 5 years, we started hearing a grinding fan noise in the back of the fridge. It got worse over the next week. Called a 5 star appliance repair company to come and take a look. We found out the problem is the evaporative cooling fan for the fridge. It is going to be a $350.00 repair. The repairman was very knowledgeable about the unit. He told us that Samsung refrigerators keep him employed. He also told us that we were the lucky ones having the refrigerator for 5 years with no other problems. He was a wealth of information, all of it bad for the longevity and costs that we could expect in the future. We decided to repair it and hope for the best. Repairman brought the new part back a week later. Unwrapped the bubble wrap to have a piece of plastic go flying. Part was broken and could not be used. He apologized and said that he would have to reorder and he could not guarantee that it would last even one year. We then decided to rethink our decision. After reading literally thousands of online reviews, we decided to cut our losses and run. Used our Labor Day weekend to seek out and purchase a new Made in America refrigerator. Money we had not intended on spending but glad to be out from under the Samsung brand. We have to wait for our new refrigerator and the fan noise is so loud now after 2 1/2 weeks that we can hardly hear one another to converse in our kitchen/family great room. Our daughter has been having problems with her ice maker on her Samsung from one year on, constant problem and royal pain. No fix in sight for hers either. One would think that Samsung would get a clue and improve their product but NO that is not what is happening. They knowingly continue to sell faulty and substandard products. We will tell everyone we know to walk away before they even consider a Samsung fridge. We wish someone had told us... If I could have given a worse star selection than 1, I would have... Save yourself a lot of grief and money~~DON’T BUY A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR.

I will never buy a Samsung refrigerator (RS25H5111). Bought new at Lowes and it has been nothing but a problem from day 1 in the short 3 months I have had it. Fan in rear freezes up and is noisy, they replaced, lasted 2 weeks now same problem. Ice maker works randomly, will make ice for a week or 2 then just stop, water accumulates in the drawers. I bought Samsung refrigerator last June 20, 2009 (RF267ABBP/XAA). The ice dispenser started spitting out bits of hard white plastic (some nickel and dime size) with the ice. When I called for repair (still under warranty), the repairman could find no source for the plastic and did nothing. The problem has reemerged now with 1.5 x 2 piece of hard white plastic and dime size piece of styrofoam.

We moved into a townhouse with Samsung Appliances - stove, refrigerator and microwave. The refrigerator periodically buzzes so loud it is obnoxious for a relatively new but out of warranty refrigerator at 6 years old. (Our 22 year old Kenmore at the family cabin is still as quiet as the morning dawn.) I was told by Samsung help to connect the ice maker and the buzzing noise should go away. I had to hire a plumber to run a water line to the refrigerator and connect it. $500 later, I still had a buzzing refrigerator. I called Samsung and was informed the only thing they could offer was their authorized repair service to come out to our seasonal Minnesota townhome and fix it as it is out of warranty. Unique Services Repair Tech came out and felt like the noise was fan-related and recommended replacing fan. Part needed to be ordered, Tech returned a week later, installed and another $500; today we still have a buzzing refrigerator. Called Samsung and a different Unique Services Tech visited over a week later and said the refrigerator is just noisy and the noise cannot be eliminated. We have spent $1000 and still have a buzzing refrigerator. We should have been told that the Samsung model we have runs loud and it cannot be fixed. We would have bought a new refrigerator. The first Unique Services Tech should have told me our refrigerator model runs loud and we cannot fix it. Instead, we spend $365 for a new fan plus the service call $’s charge for a part not needed. Both Samsung and Unique Services are yet to reply to my bad experience. I suspect both Samsung and Unique Service Repair are better than this. From a Customer Service standpoint, I am disappointed at being blown off by their non response to my communicated concerns.

My experience with Samsung Refrigerator (Dont Buy one) I have had nothing but trouble. Under the vegetable trays they freeze up. I have pictures of the ice I had to break up clean out. I have had ice 3 to 4 inches. Think its a pain taking vegetable trays out all the time and breaking ice into a bucket. The worse thing about this is the company knew about the problem but went on to sale there product to the consumers. Im not looking for compensation Im just wanting to let customers know. Warning - lots heartaches. I took pictures but there was nowhere to download.

Same continuous issue with our Samsung refrigerator model RF28HMEDBWW. At least 3 service calls (maybe more) and now we have been waiting for 3 weeks to get the ice maker part replaced. Ice maker continuously freezes up and wont dispense ice... frustrating! Customer service is terrible. No one calls back from the service company or the warranty company to let us know the status. Waiting now to see if the part can even be ordered... maybe not available any longer, not sure. Luckily I purchased the extended warranty. Well see what happens. I do not recommend this refrigerator.

This is the first and last time that I will write a review for a Samsung product, because I will never be purchasing one again. Until my last experience with Samsung, I believed that they were a good company with solid products. As a consumer, I expect my product to work as designed and for that manufacturer to stand behind whatever warranty may accompany that product; pretty simple. I have never actually taken the time to write anything like this and post it on the internet, but here is my story and I truly hope that it dissuades anyone from purchasing a Samsung product under the false assumption that you have the backing of the manufacturer if anything should go wrong with your product.I purchased my dishwasher (Model # DW80F600UTS) in mid April of 2014 from Lowes. I paid around $500 and for the money, it did the job. In February of 2015, less than a year after I purchased the unit, it started having problems. Like you might read on countless other reviews and forms, the smart auto and heavy lights would start flashing 10 minutes into the cycle, the dishwasher would drain, and the dishwasher would not clean the dishes. Upon investigating the issue, I discovered that this is an indication that there is a problem with the float switch. Again, simple problem, but with the number of issues related to this one topic, it is very clear that there is a defect in the dishwashers design. Here is a complete list of the calls I made to Samsung and the numerous challenges I encountered:February 18, 2014 - Called and described the problem. Samsung contacted an appliance service company (So Cal Tech, Inc.) in my area to address the issue. February 20, 2014 - Service center calls me to set an appointment to fix the issue once they receive 2 parts, the float switch and main board. Parts will be in in 2 days and we will be there to fix the dishwasher. February 26, 2014 - I call the service center because they have not called to set an appointment. The parts arent in yet, we will call when they arrive. March 2, 2014 - Service center calls and sets the appointment to come fix my dishwasher. March 5, 2014 - Repairman arrives. Extremely rude to my wife. Curses his company as he tells her that they only sent him 1 part he needs. Repairman leaves, dishwasher not functioning. I call the service center... We will have the part in in 2 days.March 9, 2014 - I call the service center because they have not called to set an appointment. The part isnt in yet, we will call when they arrive. March 16, 2014 - Part arrives, repair scheduled. March 19, 2014 - Repairman arrives, installs the main board. Dishwasher appears to run ok, but after the repair man leaves, it does the same thing. I call Samsung and I am told they need to fix the float switch again. I tell them that I am not going to accept that, so I am transferred to their executive customer service team. I explain the issue and they put it in review to have the unit replaced. I am promised that they will call back within 48 hours.March 26, 2014 - Instead of a call back from Samsung, I get another repair center. This time they tell me that I am going to be charged for the service. I say absolutely not, and that I will call Samsung. Again, I am transferred to the executive customer service team, who states they dont know why I wasnt called back and they couldnt find a note on the review in their system. Again, I am told that they are going to review the case for replacement and that I will hear back in 48 hours.April 2, 2014 - Samsung never calls back. I call again. Transferred to the executive customer service team. This time, I tell the nice lady on the other end of the phone that I am not going to accept a call back and that I wanted to speak to someone that could resolve this issue immediately. She talks over me for a minute, reciting the process that I have to follow, after which, she hangs up on me. I call back, enraged, transferred to the executive customer service team. Find out that the lady that just hung up on me has closed my pending issue ticket. I explain what I have been through, I am promised a call back from the supervisor of the executive customer service team.April 9, 2014 - Guess what, Samsung never called back. I call, get transferred to the executive customer service team and like an idiot, I allow them to do ANOTHER review. I ask the representative to take notes on the entire story. At the end, I ask what he has written down (there were several times I was on hold for him to put the notes in the system) and he hasnt recorded a single note. We go through it again, he reads it back to me. And I am PROMISED a call back in 48 hours.April 15, 2014 - Getting sick of this yet? I am. No call back from Samsung. What they did do, is have another service center call me and offer to come fix the dishwasher. Just as I am about the explode, they also inform me that I am out of warranty and that I will be charged if they come to fix it. April 22, 2014 - Now Im here. 20 hours on the phone with Samsung over a $500 dishwasher and all I ever wanted them was to stand behind their product. Thanks Samsung. Dishwasher is still not working and I am done spending my time on trying to get Samsung to do anything about it. If you read this and still buy an appliance from them, then I hope you spend a couple hundred extra bucks on an extended warranty... youre going to need it.

There is a class action lawsuit against Samsung. All their refrigerators have a problem with freezing up. It is very dangerous for your kids or the elderly because the fridge will run about 40-50 degrees but will say 38 on the temp. So your food could be going bad and you wouldnt know. Im surprised that no one has gotten sick and/or died and taken them to court for the culpability. They clearly know that they have a design flaw. If you look up Samsung refrigerator problems, you will find thousands and thousands of reports. It is a worldwide design flaw. I am surprised that they are not providing a fix to customers. They wanted $200 to fix it. They are a bunch of dishonest crooks. I wont buy another Samsung product in my lifetime.

Since purchasing in 2012 this refrigerator has been a constant problem. We have had to defrost the freezer 6 times due to ice buildup. And now for the second time the refrigerator is not working. The back panel freezes. The fan then breaks due to the ice buildup which causes the motor to stop. This has happened twice at a $500 cost to fix. Now in addition to the refrigerator not working there is ice building the size of a large melon in the lower right hand interior panel. We have been told this is due to bad insulation and is a product defect. We contacted customer service and they told us the repair company is not Samsung authorized. The Samsung authorized service did not return our calls for service. We have tried them again and they ask we wait 5 days before a serviceman can conduct a home visit. So we have non-working refrigerator. It has been classified as a product defect. We cannot get service. Samsung help desk is not giving us support. A Lemon!!!

First off it never dried the dishes then approx 6 month later it would stop in mid cycle blinking lights on panel. After a long hard researching & calling Samsung I was told the issue was the turbidity sensor, I replaced that & it worked for about 3 months. Then it started the same thing, now I am told its the main control panel.. (no I did not get extended warranty). I just got that part but unfortunately the part was bad so I have to send it back for a new one. The bottom line - do not buy this dishwasher. Its horrible. I have a one year old Samsung dishwasher and was just told it would cost me $600 to repair it. Of course the warranty just expired...I bought it from Home Depot last year and within 2 weeks was having a problem with it, wouldnt drain, didnt clean well, smart auto error, technician came out to repair and not surprising this wasnt the first time he saw this issue. I wanted to replace it, but of course Samsung wouldnt do that and had to settle for the repair. It is next to impossible to talk to anyone who knows anything at Samsung. ZERO customer service satisfaction! Technician told me to call Samsung and see if they will pay for parts and I would just pay for the labor...I would rather have all my fingernails ripped off than to make this phone call as we all know how this will end! After about 14 months the refrigerator went bad and started popping the CGFI plug in the house. After contacting Lowes to request help in support of this issue and try to use the extended warranty I was told that the warranty company refused to help saying that it was our fault the refrigerator was not working. I contacted Samsung to ask for help, they said they can send someone to diagnose the issue but it would cost me additional $165.00 for labor.I agreed to this but the person who was supposed to perform the diagnoses was not even qualified to work on refrigerator and Im sure he was not certified by Samsung to work on their appliances. He blamed us like the Lowes supposed qualified technician that it was our fault that the refrigerator was not working. I have contact both Samsung and Lowes many time without any progress. I have decided not to ever buy anything from Samsung or Lowes. I hope you can learn from my mistake in dealing with well known companies. I can provide receipts if I feel this is going somewhere. At the moment, our house is fully stocked with Samsung stainless steel appliances from top to bottom. Dishwasher, microwave, freerange oven, refrigerator, TVs, etc. You name it, we bought into the Samsung brand due to the tech features and the sleek designs, but we regret every single decision we made when buying the Samsung brand. Never have we ever had such an awful experience with EVERY single product from a single brand than with Samsung. Ill keep this review narrowed in focus to just the Samsung freerange oven, but I do want to provide some details around the numerous and frequent issues weve had with every other Samsung appliance we own.First off, some background, we usually buy our appliances from Lowes due to the proximity to our home and the frequent sales they offer. We started to renovate our house a few years ago and began purchasing new appliances at that time. From the start we had problems. First, we purchased a new Samsung waterwall dishwasher and within the first year, we had to repair a plastic motor part that drained water after the wash cycle. We decided to not purchase the Lowes warranty at the time (regrettably) and I was forced to watch a YouTube video of a guy taking the motor apart and using epoxy to repair a cheapo plastic part that was seemingly critical to the machines functionality. Next up was the Samsung microwave, which after 6 months had the motherboard supporting the dials blow out. It literally just stopped working, without warning or without an obvious cause. Luckily, this was within warranty and a new board was mailed to us, which solved the problem. Fast forward 3 years (which seems to be the magic timeframe for ALL Samsung appliances to crap out), were now having the exact same issue. So, outside of warranty, we need to figure out whether to fix or replace this crappy Samsung microwave. Next up we have the Samsung smart 55 LED TV. We bought this at Best Buy on a Black Friday deal 3 years ago and it was great...until it wasnt. No warning, it worked one day and then it didnt. Looked up all the DIY fixes and replaced the power board, no luck. It was JUST outside warranty and we know face the decision to pay more to fix it or just change to a new, different brand, TV. UGH!Now, to the Samsung freerange oven. To start, we are very, VERY, fortunate to not have had our house burn to the ground due to this incredibly dangerous and absolutely awful appliance from catching fire....TWICE! Some details, again, we bought our Samsung freerange range oven, Model NE597R0ABSR/AA, Serial Number J0V27DCC501158V, from Lowes back in 2019. We had a very old oven that just wasnt cutting it and we did quite a bit of research before purchasing this oven. We felt at the time that Samsung had very good reviews, despite some of their newer lines of appliances being out for a short period of time. We take the plunge and the experience of having it delivered and installed was great. Not more than 2 years of having the oven we had our first of two awful experiences with the oven. I cook for a family of 6 about 5-6 times a week, using 3 of the 4 range top burners and the oven at the same time. Thats a lot of cooking on a regular basis, so when we were simply cooking on 2 burners without using the oven and we saw FLAMES coming from the back of the oven, we were blown away. And terrified! We immediately turned the burner, got the fire extinguisher ready and shut off the main breaker to the kitchen. The flames subsided but the smoke was still billowing out of the back of the oven and the fire detectors went crazy. As we pulled the oven out from the wall (and took off the food, which eventually spoiled) we could see where the smoke was coming from. We unplugged the oven and took off the panel and the entire motherboard was melted....it was like someone doused it with gasoline and set it on fire. Our oven was ruined and the wall behind the oven was charred. Long story short, we filed a claim with Samsung and despite our oven being out of warranty for just a few months, they sent out techs (who didnt speak English) to replace the motherboard and it worked once again. We were pretty shaken from the experience and were hesitant using the oven or range with any level of intensity, but over time we began to use it normally. Not 10 months later, we were making dinner just like we always did (the night before Thanksgiving, nonetheless) and THE SAME THING HAPPENED, but on a different place on the the oven. We heard a POP, and the back of the oven started smoking and there were flames. Then the oven shut off. Once again, we turned off the oven, we pulled it out, we unplugged it, we removed the back panels and IT MELTED THE GODDAMN WIRES!This was the last straw. Samsung appliances have been nothing but an absolute disaster and even with warranties, they seem to stop working/break/catch fire/etc just days or weeks or months past the warranty timeframes. Samsung makes appliances and products that look great, but my god they are absolute trash. We are now in the process of replacing every Samsung product in our house to prevent a disaster in our home. Do your research, buy what you can afford, but please, do not buy Samsung. Its garbage.

13 months after purchasing our Samsung Refrigerator the icemaker went out. It leaks constantly inside the fridge and in the cup area. I constantly have to have a paper towel there to soak up the water. It freezes up about once a week and my husband has to use the hair dryer to get it going again. Sometimes we get real cubes, but most of the time we get slushy cubes. We were dazzled by the French door version with the outside access drawer in the middle and paid $2,400. Two years later I vow to never buy another Samsung appliance. Samsung is no help. I hope the class action lawsuit can do something, but the legal process is so long, Ill probably be dead by then!

I just purchased all new Samsung kitchen appliances. The dishwasher was broken. It ran, but would not turn off even when I opened the door. I had to turn off circuit breaker. Called Lowes, and they replaced with a new one. They were great about it as I said I did not intend on having to pay my contractor a second time to install it, they completed the installation. Now it runs, but does not dry dishes. I purchased the rinse agent as I was advised, used it, still does not dry dishes. Today I used the sanitize option which was suggested in manual to get dishes dry...still not dry. I also have a very bad smell coming from dishwasher when there are no dirty dishes in it. It smells like garbage. So today I called Lowes and spoke to my salesman. I am NOT going to re-purchase a Samsung. He is going to have his department manager call me tomorrow. Again, I dont want to pay installation, but either way I am so disappointed. So far I am happy with refrigerator, stove, and microwave, but have only had them two weeks.

Our fridge is 1 1/2 years old. The ice maker is not working (slushy cubes with unit freezing up). We did not buy the extended warranty, unfortunately, but it sounds like Samsung service is not great, even for those who do. Researched the issue and found that even by replacing the unit, it is likely to have the problem recur because it is a design flaw. I bought a Samsung refrigerator in February of 2007. In 2009, it froze up under the plastic wall in the back, making it impossible to close the door. I paid a repairman $200.00 to come and fix it. He put on a new thermostat, cleaned the coils, defrosted everything and put it back together. 1 year later I had to call him back because it did exactly the same thing. Another $150.00. Then in March it did it again. I called a different repairman, thinking he might be able to truly fix the issue, and he told me straight up that Samsung refrigerators have one fan for freezer and fridge. Its a bad plan, it doesnt work and you cant fix it. Lucky me. Well, it happened to me again today, so, now every 2 to 6 months I have to take my fridge apart, defrost it and put it back together. Its a great plan and Samsung is of no help at all. Too bad so sad, but I wont be buying ANYTHING Samsung again... EVER! Ive posted on FB and continue to tell all of my friends what crap they sell.

Purchased a Samsung 4 door refrigerator and the ice maker is completely use
Purchased a Samsung 4 door refrigerator and the ice maker is completely useless. We paid premium dollars for this fridge and every 2 weeks we need to remove the ice build up in the ice maker within the refrigerator. This is a well known issue and Samsung even put out a service bulletin but they want me to take the cost for a design flaw. I should not have to pay a penny for something that should be a given such as making ice within my refrigerator. I will never buy a Samsung product due to this experience and how they value their customers.

Paid over $5K for the Samsung RF34H9960S4/AA refrigerator, which is supposed to have come with Samsung Elite Service where a technician comes to your house and explains all the features in person and make sure everything was installed and working correctly. After two months of trying to get in touch with someone at Samsung who could set this up for me, I was told that the service is not offered in my area, based on my zip code. I asked if it was available in the zip code where I purchased the product and was again told it is not. I asked if it was available anywhere in the U.S. and was told that the only technician they had listed was in California. I accused them of selling a product and advertising a service that customers like me have paid top dollar for, knowing that it is not offered in most areas of the U.S. They did not offer me any resolution.

We thought we were buying a top-of-the-line refrigerator when we bought our Samsung fridge 2 years ago. Model RF263BEAEBC. French doors, bottom freezer, ice and water dispenser in the door. From the beginning, the ice/water dispenser was a problem. It leaked and water ran down the left front and over to the left side of the unit, puddling in the floor. If I selected ice cubes, I got ice cubes and crushed ice, with a bit of water thrown in for good measure. Since day 1 it has never worked as it should. We have tolerated it all this time because everything else was fine. Now, we have no ice and have discovered there is (were thinking) no water getting to the ice maker in spite of the cutoff valve being wide open and undisturbed since installation. I have recently noticed water gathering in one of the fridge drawers. I am SO disgusted with this fridge!!! I cannot and will not recommend this brand to anyone!

Samsung refrigerator RF26X Series Model # RF26XAERS. My wife and I purchase
Samsung refrigerator RF26X Series Model # RF26XAERS. My wife and I purchased a 26 cu ft Samsung refrigerator french door freezer on the bottom on October 12, 2011. We spent over $3,000 on Friday December 16th, 2016 the freezer & ice maker quit working at the same time. I contacted Samsung about the matter and I was informed that my warranty was expired, the refrigerator came with a 12 month warranty then we added a five-year warranty on top of that. Question is how can it be expired? Its only been 5 years total including the original 12 months that came with the purchase. I would like a full refund. Please dont buy anything from Samsung. Youve been warned.

2005 Samsung microwave -SE- on display. Microwave high end that has an auto cook for types of food. I saw the post about the sensor and read others online for only 10 min. Said it was a humidity sensor that was shorted inside microwave, not a panel. My microwave was totally unusable. No buttons worked and unplugging power had no effect. I am fairly good at fixing things. And it said that you had to replace sensor. But after about five min., I remembered what I last cooked. I cooked corn. I bet that sensor is dirty. Inside on the ceiling of the microwave is a small 1/4 inch hole that the sensor fits. I sprayed it with aerosol isopropyl alcohol. Instant! : 0 on display, the -SE- was gone. The sensor was dirty and caused the microwave to lockup. I did not use but can suggest maybe a Q-tip with rubbing alcohol. A spray worked for me. My microwave is working. Thanks for the info on this site. It helped. Lot of work saved.

I have a Samsung side by side refrigerator. It is 9 years old. It quit cooling. This was over 6 weeks ago. I called Samsung and they referred me to NISI for service and repairs. I have been without a fridge for 8 weeks now. They have come out 3 times. Still they have not fixed the fridge or given me any guarantee that they can fix it. I have decided to cut my losses and go with another brand. Samsung fridge life max is 8-10 years. Their service is terrible! A word to the wise. Steer clear of this product.
