We love the flex with 4 French doors. We are always short on refrigerator space. We have a little freezer outside for our larger items. The size of our kitchen space determines what size refrigerator we are able to buy.

I just purchased a Samsung microwave model# me16h702ses and gas range model# nx58h5600ss/aa. The microwave has steam coming out of the sides and the stove top is chipping. Put in 2 different warranty claims, took 2 days off of work to wait for repairmen. Was forced to uninstall and reinstall my microwave or pay someone to do it. Samsung claims that both appliances were damaged by me and refused to repair or replace either one even though they are both within the warranty window. I has purchased a Samsung s10e cell phone which has been replaced 2 times, the speaker phone doesnt work on any of these phones and Samsung refuses to fix the issue. They have horrible products and horrible customer service.

Wish I read these reviews before I bought. Will never buy any Samsung product again... We purchased a dw80j3020 dishwasher in Oct 2016 and it stopped draining water in late Nov 2016. After a call to Samsung, a tech was sent to repair it. He informed us that the pump looked used and needed to be replaced. This product was purchased new and no other work was done so the defected part had to come from the factory. Samsung has refused to replace or repair the product. I have called the office of the president and still the answer I got was a resounding no... Again stay away from all Samsung products.

This an update on my trouble getting my Samsung refrigerator fixed. Its been going on for 6 weeks now. Granted we have been out of town for 2 of those weeks. First attempt to fix it was to replace the computer board ($375). This took almost 2 weeks due delay in getting first one that was on backorder and was defective so another had to be order. This didnt work. The repair people came back out and decided that it was the cooling fan BUT the fan is manufactures discontinued, so we have to buy the whole cooling panel of $180. The repair people and Lowes advised that the repair people write a letter stating the problems and what they have had to do and cost of fixing this problem and submit to Samsung for a possible credit for a new one. Fortunately we have the beer and watermelon refrigerator in the garage, which ironically is the one we replace with the high tech Samsung. I only wish I could sue them for forcing me to live with an unhappy wife for this long.

The worst fridge imaginable! Avoid purchasing a Samsung fridge with exterior ice & water dispenser. We have the French door version (not our first weve had LG in the past) and since Day 1 it has caused us grief and damaged our hardwood floors. The water dispenser nozzle is bent towards the fridge instead of straight down (default setting apparently according to Samsung), and dispenses water with such force that no matter what you do, you end up with water shooting back at you and ultimately onto the floor. Similar problems with the ice dispenser. Although it is always on CUBE setting, shards of ice always spill forth in all directions, ultimately ending up on the floor. We have had to place a tea towel beside the fridge to wipe up the floors EACH TIME we use either ice or water dispenser. Both water and ice dispensers have damaged our hardwood floors over time, and we have had this fridge for only 7 months! Calling Samsung warranty and repair is a nightmare too; disorganized group of customer service representatives who patch you through to another department, ultimately making you repeat the reason why you are calling in the first place. (Why Samsung doesnt have a customer complaint database accessible to all customer service reps is shocking to me.)Ultimately through Samsung we had a visit from a Samsung Certified Repair technician who fiddled around with a couple things and attempted to convince us all was good. We still have the same problems. I am going to work on returning this fridge. How anyone can purchase an appliance that damages your house AND requires you to do extra work is beyond comprehension. We purchased the fridge at Sears Canada and I will be fighting tooth and nail to exchange this for an LG.

Samsung RF 32 double door refrigerator - I have been in contact with Samsung about a common problem with a failure on our ice maker, even though it is in several complaint chats and is noted by Samsung as they offer a $700.00 improved replacement part with a bigger fan to accommodate the heat from the motor. Samsungs support line will not authorize the repair thru there designated representative company that also says that it should be covered. The appliance repair company told me to ask for a one-time acceptance allowance and I am still being denied. NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT. I WILL NEVER BUY SAMSUNG AGAIN.

Weve been in this house since November 1998. Our previous Kenmore was working fine when we decided to remodel with all-stainless steel kitchen appliances. This evening (10/20/2013), as we were preparing dinner, we were melting butter. The first time, the time wasnt set long enough. When we attempted to continue melting the butter, the SE error code appeared. Nothing I did would return the unit to normal. This is ridiculous to pay a premium for a so-called top-of-the-line appliance and it lasts approximately two years.Just this past week, we had to have out Samsung dishwasher serviced because debris had jammed the impeller preventing the wash pump from operating. I was told by the repair tech that the GE Pot Scrubber (that was also working fine) would have ground discharged the debris but dishes have to be completely pre-rinsed of all food debris prior to being loaded into a Samsung dishwasher to prevent eventual clogging of the impeller. I wont get into the ridiculous cost of 400-gallon water filters for Samsung refrigerators.

The crisper drawers in a $2000.00 Samsung refrigerator are two pieces assembled at factory. There is an overlap of plastic in which food and water gets trap and there is no way to remove the front of the drawer to clean out rotting food and sitting liquids. Customer support confirms this when I called. There is no way to seperate them, there is no way to clean it. No solution. Rotting food and stale liquid must remain trapped. They do not offer any solution or different parts to resolute the problem.

I purchased a 3 door Samsung refrigerator with ice maker 3 years ago. The refrigerator is junk. It freezes up making clucking jarring sounds because of the ice build up. It leaks under the crisper drawers and on to the floor outside of the fridge. I have contacted Samsung for the last 6 months. They asked me to allow them to pay a service tech to come fix it. The service tech broke the fridge and had me pay $400 to fix it. Still does the same thing. Samsung asked to pay for another repair but their techs could not make an appointment that was convenient for me then told me to use a tech in my area to state the fridge was unrepairable. I did so and paid $85. Now they are telling me that it is a seal problem and that I am either leaving my doors open or the doors are not on properly. I have since purchased a Maytag and threw the Samsung off my back porch. Samsung creates ticket numbers and closes them never returning phone calls or emails. Showing they are the guilty party in the problem with this fridge. I currently have had another ticket escalated to ask to pay for what I have put out because they asked me to do this in order to resolve the issue. $481. They just give you the runaround once again proving they are guilty of knowing that these are junk. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING SAMSUNG.

The refrigerator was purchased 8 years ago. It was replacing a 30 year old General Electric that still worked but was not “energy” efficient. Shortly after the warrant (1 year) ended, the vegetable and fruit bins froze up. The temperature kept warming and all the food in the freezer and refrigerator had to be thrown away. The worth was about $200. I called for repairs and was told I had to use specific Samsung warranty repairman. The repairs were not covered but some of the parts were. Since then, I have had to have it repaired at least 5 times and have lost 100s of dollars in food. I finally purchased a small GE for the garage to move the food when the fridge shows signs of failing. I have written, emailed and called Samsung several times and have not received any satisfaction! I will never buy a Samsung appliance again. They need to stick to TVs.

My husband and I purchased a suite of Samsung appliances in 2012 for our new home. Shortly after the refrigerator was installed and in use, we discovered a leaking problem in the right crisper drawer. We contacted Samsung who in turn sent a repairman to service the fridge and the problem seemed to be fixed until almost a year later. We have had three (3) separate repairmen come, all arranged by Samsung to assess the same leaking issue. The last repairman to come to our home to assess the problem, took pictures and sent onto Samsung.Samsung contacted us and said the fridge was defective and irreparable. Samsung offered us a depreciated refund of $266.30 and with this; we would have to completely empty the fridge for Samsung to pick up. The fridge cost $1,299 + taxes in 2012 and what was being offered was nowhere close to the cost of a new fridge. Letters and emails were exchanged and Samsung changed their offer to $500 but we would still need to prepare the fridge for Samsung to pick up.We did not accept their offer as we would be without a fridge and the cost of a new fridge was a lot more than what was being offered. Samsung said that was their final offer which is unacceptable. They have admitted the fridge is defective and all we want is a replacement of a similar fridge. Nothing more and nothing less. When purchasing any new appliances or products; they will not be from Samsung. This company does not stand behind their products and their customer service is very lacking.

Purchased Samsung FTQ307 in 2012, extended warranty. After 3 years of wonderful use it burns out the inverter and power control board. Contacted Lowes for warranty and they stipulate its out of warranty. I make the purchase to replace burned out cards. It worked for 4 days and burns out in the same fashion. Contacted Lowes again to verify warranty information and then it was under warranty when it originally broke but is not anymore. Contacted Samsung. The glass-top and internals under the glass-top are cover under a 5 year parts warranty. They honored said warranty and added in the labor too since it originally failed under the extended warranty. Technician came out to repair but did not have all the parts. They were on back order. Samsung placed paperwork in to reimburse cost of parts that I installed and began the process of doing a buy back. A few days later Samsung said they never said they were going to reimburse parts cost and that they were would never offer a buy back. Repair guy came out and repaired the stove. 2 hours later it burned out again. Samsung and the repair company have a 30 day labor and 60 day parts warranty. Samsung has now voided all warranty to everything. All my major appliances are Samsung. I will be selling them all with a different company and will not ever own a Samsung device again. In the whole process of dealing with Samsung, they would say and/or offer one thing and the next day take it back or say it never happened. And with the actual repair company Samsung stated that the technician said it was because it was repaired by my hand that I caused the issue, when in fact they did not say that.

We purchased 6 Samsung appliances for two new units before Christmas of 2015 and took delivery in the beginning of February 2016. It is a brand new house, brand new appliances. When we peel the protective film off the door, a dent was discovered. Call Samsung, they quoted us the 48 hour policy which stated that if there was anything wrong cosmetically with the Fridge, it must be reported within 48 hours. This policy was never communicated to us. If this policy is so important, it should have been communicated to us at time of purchase and again at the point of delivery. The fridge was delivered at the end of the day. The plumber that was to install the fridge was on holiday until a week later, we did not want to peel off the protective film until the fridge is installed and move into the proper location. When the film was peeled off there was a dent on the door which was clearly a factory mishap and there is nothing they will do. Extremely frustrating and disappointing with the whole experience.

I purchased and a 2 door stainless steel refrigerator assembly and in 3 to 5 months we had to replace the ice maker - since then we are on our 4th ice maker. I have had many contacts with Samsung corp, and customer service and now that the unit is out of warranty they now tell me that the repairs will be at my cost - I simply requested a replacement unit for the one that I have. With saying that I have to add that I also have the microwave, oven, smart tv and dishwasher.I have been on the phones with Samsung tech support for hours going over what we are experiencing with their product - they just keep saying now that the unit is out of warranty and that I didnt purchase an extended warranty my request for a replacement unit is and I quote not an option. My question to them is that this problem was existing during the warranty period and 2 ice makers have been replaced during that time. I would think they would have taken that into consideration for it is obvious this problem was pre-existing prior to purchase. I guess their business is stronger than the consumers of their products. They stated to me the only thing they will offer is a one time free repair to the unit and that was the best they could do. I then asked if we have the repair done and 3-5 months again down the road this happens again then what? They said they could say at this time.In other words you just ** out of luck and $1500.00. I wasnt asking for restitution on any type. I just asked for a replacement unit and that was no longer an option because the unit was out of warranty. In closing, I must say I can no longer support the Samsung product. And in closing a message to the Samsung corporation - the definition of great company service is not defined when things are going right. It is defined when things are going wrong!!!!

If you are considering buying Samsung Products - Save your money! We bought a Samsung Washer and Dryer in 2012 and already had to have repairs on the washer ($279 for latch on the door). The dryer is ruining our clothes because the lint trap is defective and sticks up and catches and twists the clothes until they break. Our Dishwasher that we purchased in 2014, sometimes takes 6 cycles to clean. The soap dispenser does not open or the cycle stops and all the lights start flashing. The other day the dishwasher ran for almost 6 hours while we were shopping and was making a horrible noise. I called Lowes, where we purchased and they were no help. I called Samsung and was told I needed to buy a new lint trap, and they could not help with the dryer. As for the dishwasher, I have a transaction number of ** and was told someone would call me within 24 hours to discuss what our next step was. It has been three days and no one has called. We also have a Samsung stove/oven and microwave - crossing fingers those last longer than the other appliances. Bad product and bad customer service!!!

Samsung dishwasher dw80f800uws purchased 2/14 stopped working and emitted an error code on 3/25/16. (Note, 2 days before my Easter brunch). Samsung service center called and I went over error code and how that didnt seem to be the problem. I was told my best bet would be to buy a $300 service extended warranty, which I did, and they would contact a local approved appliance repair company and have them contact me. The service call provided no answer as he also found nothing that related to the error code. He returned another time to vacuum out the stale water (smells awful inside now) and said he will order every part that it might take to fix and it could be as long as 2 months. I smiled and said no way. He replied Oh yes. There are at least nine other customers waiting on parts I was later told. I was shocked- never have I ever had to wait that long for any appliance repair in all my years. As an avid cook and baker I am beyond frustrated. I am currently shopping a replacement and wish I never purchased the service warranty. Is this the norm for Samsung across the nation? What poor customer service after the purchase.

I was so excited to purchase this item for my new kitchen remodel last year. I made the purchase in March 2015, believe it was delivered in June 2015. The stove was installed in July 2015 and began use in August 2015. I am out of warranty. The first time I used the self-clean mode, the control panel died and the oven remained locked. I contacted Samsung, who arranged out of warranty service. The stove broke on Friday, service was today (Wednesday). After the technician detached the oven from my grout and backsplash, he determined the thermostat went bad. I paid my $79 service fee and he is ordering the part.Technician is concerned as to what caused the thermostat, saying ideally hed replace the control board, the fan, and the sensor so that he doesnt end up back. I contacted Samsung, very upset with this clear defect. I get the Sorry you are dissatisfied, but you are out of warranty. 15 years I had a Kenmore... never had a problem... ready to go back! I purchased a Samsung French door stainless steel refrigerator in August 2012, at Best Buy for 2500.00. I have never been so frustrated with any of my appliances as I am with this one. All of my Kenmore appliance lasted 25 years with maybe two repairs. After the first year 4 of the six door trays cracked, and recently the freezer handle broke off when I opened the freezer door. At this point the only thing I like about the refrigerator is the chime that sounds when I leave a door open. Every time I see a Samsung in the store I feel sick knowing that some unsuspecting person may buy one. So far... knock on wood, I have had no problem with the cooling system or ice-maker, but if and when I do I will buy a new one from a trusted brand. This has been the worst choice of an appliance that I ever made. Do not purchase this product and subject yourself to frustration!

Problem: Water dispenser began leaking immediately upon installation. Purged system of air but leak continued. Then within a week or so of use, the water dispenser began making a vibrating noise. The noise was in the area where the water line leads into the back of the refrigerator. Solution: After repair service made three attempts, one by replacing the water valve. This eliminated the vibrating noise for a day. The vibrating noise was continuous. The third service call was removing the water filter. There was no vibration or leaking when the filter was not in the refrigerator. The service repairman suggested leaving the filter out for a day then install a new filter. We installed a new filter the next day. It worked. We have been leak free and noise free for several days. So, if you have either of these problems or both, I suggest you remove the filter and install a new one before calling service. By the way, our service company informed us we would be getting a new filter from Samsung since the 6-month period had not been up on the filter.

The problem was with the coil in the cooler - it had iced over. I called a technician for our fridge (RL62), and he repaired the problem. He offered me insurance for three years at a cost of $360. I refused, then he offered me insurance for one year for $200 (the cost of the repair). After Googling the type of fridge problem, I discovered that there is a serious problem with Samsung fridges. 7, yes, 7 Samsung fridges since May 2011 and not one has lasted. Tried side by sides and moved all the way up to 4 high-end French door models on sale for half price due to holidays. I can see why they can sell these lemons for so cheap, because they are junk. Nothing but major issue after major issue. Samsung could care less. My retailer was good, but even they kept saying “no way you could get so many defective fridges.” Oh, yes, I can and did. I have the service records to prove it; not that that means much considering every technician was clueless with no idea how to fix it. So they just try one or two things and when it doesn’t fix anything, they just say: “Defective, can’t be fixed.” And of course that’s only if they actually show up for the scheduled service call. Personally, I think Samsung should pull every model fridge they sell off of store shelves and should not be allowed to sell these obvious lemons to the public unless they learn how to make a fridge that works and one that can be fixed if something goes wrong. Why won’t the govt step in and stop Samsung immediately? Makes no sense that our governing bodies will not or have not yet, stepped in to the picture and make Samsung recall all fridges until they prove they can make a reliable fridge. Samsung’s are lemons, plain and simple, and should not be allowed to be sold to consumers in the U.S. If other countries want Samsung lemons, then that is their choice; but here in the USA, no way should they be allowed to sell these inferior lemons! Never will I ever go near any Samsung product ever again. Was actually looking at a new Samsung HD TV, but no way will I support Samsung or give them another penny of my money ever!

I came home one evening and opened the door to find the lights working but it seemed warm. I have two thermometers installed which showed the interior temp at 60 degrees. I opened the freezer drawer and that was also not cold. I hit the Digital display and it showed the set point at 36 and after a few seconds flashed the actual reading of 60 degrees - Freezer flashed a reading of 30 degrees. I called Samsung tech support and did what they asked me to do. I unplugged it for over a minute. Plugged it back in. Nothing. I put it in power cool mode. Nothing. After around 30 minutes I heard the compressor kick in. Amazing. This has happened three times that I know of... I was gone for three months last summer. Who knows?? I had purchased the master Protection Agreement from Sears, Thank God. A service Tech came out and just so he didnt think I was crazy. I took a video of the digital displayed temperature readings. He was here for more than two hours, ordered several boards and said to call when the boards arrived. They arrived and I called and a different Service Tech came out and tried to install the boards only to tell me they were the wrong parts and he didnt think the fridge needed both boards anyway. I told him That I would rather he change out both than take a chance and that maybe Sears should communicate with the first tech on this issue of what boards need to be replaced. I am not confident that this will solve the problem. It is a Manufacturing defect and Samsung should be held liable.Updated on 10/31/2016: I just had the fridge repaired on October 19, 2016. The fridge would shut down randomly for no apparent reason. The Sears tech diagnosed and ordered two new circuit boards. Eleven days later the problem came back. This time it is tripping the circuit breaker when shutting down. The one thing that is different now is the motor or fan is constantly running for hours and hours before the shutdown and the tripped breaker. I called Samsung and they are of no help. When will they help us consumers who are stuck with lemons that have cost them over two thousand dollars.

The repairman says he works on Samsung brands more than any other.

We bought a Samsung Dishwasher at the Sears store in Plymouth, Wisconsin. It only worked for about three months. At first, very well. But after that, it would start and then shut off after about five minutes not washing the dishes at all. We would start it over and over and the same thing would happen, it would make noise as if it was starting the wash cycle, then shut off and the alert would have switched on its own to delicate, which we did not set it to. The soap was always untouched, the dishes never cleaned. We called Sears and they said our computer panel was not operating properly. We had them replace it. The dishwasher worked for maybe a month and has now stopped working again, even after a new computer panel was installed. This is the worst dishwasher I have ever owned. I was going to buy a Bosch (which we have had at two other homes and felt it was an outstanding product), but was talked into this crummy one by the saleswoman who assured me it was even better than Bosch. Yeah, right. What a joke. It is pure garbage. I feel absolutely ripped off of 700+ dollars and a lot of aggravation with two lengthy service calls and hours and hours on the phone. I want my money back but feel I have zero recourse. I am so mad we threw good money after a very, very bad product. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG DISHWASHER. EVER.

Our new Samsung appliances were installed in mid February. I immediately noticed that my WaterWall dishwasher was hard to load. Prongs are short and awkward. Glasses fall over. It didnt wash dishes as well as my $500 old Whirlpool. I paid almost a grand for this one in hopes of some kind of dish washing miracle. Now it has a leak one month later. Glad I have tile flooring instead of wood. I have called Lowe’s to see what to do. Havent heard back yet. From reading other reviews, it looks like I am not fooling with this, yet I am going to return all my Samsung appliances. My mother told me to buy Whirlpool. I should have listened.

I wish I could give less than one star because thats how disgusted I am with my French door Samsung refrigerator. I purchased it about four years ago. After two years I finally figured out that it was icing up in the back and fortunately it was still under a warranty I had purchased with Lowes but it took close to a month to get all the parts etc. Also lost lots of food. Now again 2 years later the same thing. I called Samsung and became even more irate with the callous we dont give a crap attitude. This refrigerator needs to be recalled and Samsung sued because a company with morals would at least attempt to make a better product after so many of the same problems for so many years. This was to hopefully be my last refrigerator and now I cant even afford to fix the stupid thing. You can add me to the class action lawsuit as well and Samsung needs to recall and take responsibility for wasting our money. I also have a child and infant in the house - Im fearful that someone will end up with food poisoning. This is a huge safety issue Samsung!!!Updated on 07/03/2015: I finally threw most of my food away and pulled the plug on the fridge. It took three days but it finally defrosted. I then plugged it back in and for the time being it is cold and working fine. I suspect that I will end up doing this several times this year but as stupid as it sounds Im bound and determined to get a little more use out of it. So if anyone is in the same situation you might try to unplug, defrost it manually and plug it back in. Hope this can help somebody.

Bought a Samsung Sodastream French door Refrigerator. I bought it June 2014. Dealing with Samsung is a nightmare. They have a call center in Honduras. They have a executive complaint department that is useless and rude. My ice maker had problems. It is in the fridge not freezer. Two service companies came out and said I would have to turn off fridge for two days. This happened April 2015. Still not fixed. It does not make cubes only crushed ice. The ice bucket is frozen and cant get open. It makes a horrible noise when you try to get ice. I have spent almost 100 hours on phone with Samsung. Some of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. This problem occurred in month 10 of purchase. Now Samsung told me one year warranty up, cant fix. Im going to court over this. $3500 for this. I live in Ma and we have a consumer protection here. We can give a 30 day demand letter then go to court. Dont buy Samsung. Service is nonexistent and reps are rude and not very smart. Never again. Im done bunch of morons for customer support.

What can you say about this tv that hasn't already been said in the previous reviews. I had the choice between buying an additional boxcar on my private train and this tv and made the right decision! I'll probably buy the boxcar next week, or maybe a new train entirely, but I digress. The tv is truly breathtaking and after my hired help had it working, my monocle fell right off my face and would have shattered had I not been able to catch it in my top hat before it fell to the ground. If you have a few extra pounds in your trust fund, have your closest man-servant make the purchase and thank me later!

Within two weeks of buying our new home, the brand new Samsung Dishwasher (Model DW80J3020US) malfunctioned when we were not at home, spilling gallons and gallons of water onto the floor. This resulted in our hardwood floors buckling and our master bedroom carpet needing to be removed and our entire house needing to be dried out. Samsung customer service took no responsibility for any of this ---- all they would tell us is the dishwasher was out of warranty. This is the one of the most horrific experiences we have ever had with a product ---- this company should be out of business and their customer service sucks worse than their appliances. I wouldnt even rate them with one star. NO ONE SHOULD BUY ANY SAMSUNG KITCHEN APPLIANCE.

Two technicians from two separate repair places were sent by Samsung and each said the diagnostics were not showing a problem so the unit is working correctly and the company is not at fault. Well the dishes do not get clean, the dryer does not dry, the glasses break because they fall over, and the water glasses actually have food spattered and dried on them when they are removed from the unit. Shame on Samsung for producing a dishwasher that actually ultimately makes glasses dirtier than when they were placed in the machine!

Refrigerator started icing up in the back just after the first year was up. Got Samsung to pay for the parts but we had to pay for the service call. Now another year and a half later the same thing is happening and the service rep told us they have a fix for the first fix. We have to wait an entire week to get our refrigerator back to working order. The parts need to be ordered and it has to thaw out to get the back panel off. Called Samsung again and this time the manager of the woman I talked to said they will not cover the parts because the warranty had run out. I have a Maytag refrigerator that we use for beverages that has run for 24 years with no problems and dont know what I would do without it. No more Samsung for us. The Samsung replaced a GE refrigerator we had for 24 years with no problems.

We have had the Samsung dishwasher about 4 years and this is the 4th time we have had the same trouble. The machine comes on and then you can hear the water going to the washer and then you hear it pumping out. Then the lights come on indicating low water level. According to the owner manual the first it happen it was still in warranty. The repairman came out and replaces a sensor box on the side of the washer. The second time it happen about a year later my husband took the sensor box off and replaced it. It wasnt under warranty. We cant afford to call the repairman. The last time I took everything from the washer and ran a couple cups of vinegar through a cycle and it has worked fine until this time I tried to run the washer again with vinegar but it didnt work. I will never get another Samsung appliance again. We also have a refrigerator that has some problems but thank the Good Lord it still works. The model # for the dishwasher is DMT 400RHSAAX. This is accurate and fair. Here it goes. I purchased this refrigerator in 2014 from the Home Depot. I also purchased the 5 yr extended warranty (just in case). It all began with them delivering the wrong unit and it also had a hole in the back from a forklift. The delivery company left it in my driveway and drove off and in the process, ran into and wrecked my neighbors picket fence and would not share insurance information for replacement. Yes. HD sent two young men to pick up the fridge without a lift on the back so all of us had to heft this into a high bed truck to remove it. Ended up renting a truck and picking up and installing the new one ourselves. So I have had this refrigerator for 10 months and it stopped cooling in the fridge and the freezer. I want to add that the vegetable storage units do not keep the vegetables for long at all. They go bad after a couple of days. Back to the technicians, 3, yes 3 hours on the computer chat with a (3) tech(s) from Samsung to reset the OFF reading on the digital display. After 3 hours of attempting to reset and do all the bells and whistles to reset, the tech(s) then tell me that the panel is bad and needs a technician to go to the home location and repair it. They said to call Samsung to create a ticket. Ok, also called Asurion who has the warranty. They said they would create a ticket and send me a food loss form. Sent food loss form and then Im told that a reimbursement will not be issued until after the repair? I then call Samsung who tells me that there should be a repair person by Wednesday or Thursday (it is Saturday) and they would create a ticket. Then I called the Home Depot who tells me that if the issue was not solved by Wednesday or Thursday they would send me a check for the fridge or a new one? WTH? Its now Thursday (6 days after fridge quits) and no one knows about the problem or any ticket issued. I snapped. We then start all over. I am then told that it is a simple fix and I would have to pay for the repair? NO, NO, NO. I am then sent to the secondary customer person who then creates ANOTHER repair ticket and tell me that the repair person will call me in about 48 hours or so and cannot even conceivably come until next Tuesday or Wednesday. No we are into 11 days of this issue. So, this Samsung refrigerator has NO repair people in this area and yet they are continuously sold. Now what? I paid over $2,200 (on sale) for this absolute piece of mechanical scrap with the worst customer service ever. NEVER, and I mean NEVER purchase this refrigerator or any Samsung refrigerator, NEVER. Repeat that to yourself.

My dishwasher would not use the dishwasher packets I was using to wash the dishes. The soap dish flap would open, but the packet would not be used. I call Samsung and their support is the WORST! I got a guy that spoke poor English and probably never saw a dishwasher before. I told him the problem and he told me to clean the dispenser and turn off the circuit breaker. It was a TOTAL waste of time. He asked for the serial number and I gave it to him 3, (YES THREE TIMES), then he told me he was not paying attention when I gave him the number. Then he wanted to know the service provider of my cell phone. What has that got to do with the dishwasher, but he said he needed it. At that point, I knew that Samsung support people were brain dead and I just hung up. I already spend too MUCH time trying to explain the problem and another 4 hours with their support would not have made a difference. I do plan to get rid of my Samsung dishwasher and go back to my Whirlpool. I had a Whirlpool for over 10 years and NEVER had a problem with it. I replaced it because we decided to redo our Kitchen with Stainless appliances and we went with a few Samsung appliances. Now I will never buy Samsung appliances again. My recommendation is if you buy Samsung and need any support you are hosed! You will spend a lot of time on the phone with a moron that does not even know his products and wont know nor care what your problem is. He will read from a list of trouble shooting guides, which may be totally irrelevant to your specific problem. (i.e. your car wont start and the guy tells you to change the tire). One more thing, I asked the support guy for an order number and he told me he got an error code on his computer and could not give it to me. STAY, make that RUN, AWAY from this company!

Since purchasing in 2012 this refrigerator has been a constant problem. We have had to defrost the freezer 6 times due to ice buildup. And now for the second time the refrigerator is not working. The back panel freezes. The fan then breaks due to the ice buildup which causes the motor to stop. This has happened twice at a $500 cost to fix. Now in addition to the refrigerator not working there is ice building the size of a large melon in the lower right hand interior panel. We have been told this is due to bad insulation and is a product defect. We contacted customer service and they told us the repair company is not Samsung authorized. The Samsung authorized service did not return our calls for service. We have tried them again and they ask we wait 5 days before a serviceman can conduct a home visit. So we have non-working refrigerator. It has been classified as a product defect. We cannot get service. Samsung help desk is not giving us support. A Lemon!!!

I purchased the side by side fridge. After 10 days, when I opened the door to the fridge, I would hear the fan motor slowing down. It was loud. I placed a service call to Sears (where I purchased it) and the serviceman said that I needed to empty the fridge and leave the doors open for two days so it could thaw. Apparently, it was frozen in the back. I did that and he came back the next week to install new parts. That was on a Friday. The following Tuesday, the fan noise was back. I placed another service call. This time, I insisted on a replacement. Guess what, the replacement is making the same fan noise.

After making numerous calls and chats to Samsung and multiple defrost actions, Samsung sent out a repair person to replace ice maker. Today I contacted Samsung and communicated that service repair didnt resolve the issues of total freeze up and water leaks from ice machine. I contacted Samsung this morning and after less than 10 mins, an appointment was made to have a technician come out to my home and replace the pad under Samsung extended warranty on the pad. The only thing Samsung noted to me is that if its not the pad, I would have to pay for the cost of any repairs. I keep my fingers crossed that an honest technician will come out to do this repair. It takes a minimum of 4 days to get a physical service person to arrive and evaluate the problem. In our case it was a severe sealed compressor issue on our refrigerator less than 1 year old and still under factory warranty. After the technician discovered the real problem we waited 3 days for Samsung to determine an exchange was the course of action. 7 Days after that determination we are no closer to getting the exchange we were promised. RF263BEAESR/AA - We bought this fridge less than two years ago. I agree with the other reviews that it is a bit noisy but thats not the worst problem we have. The ice maker is awful! The ice remains in the chute (in the door) and then melts and leaks out of the dispenser! We end up with water dripping down the front as well as inside the fridge, in the door shelves and under the produce drawer. We have to keep a folded paper towel under the dispenser constantly! Later we started having issues with the upper unit not cooling. Again I had a service tech come out only to tell me that the Twin Cool Plus system is another common problem. I was told to empty my refrigerator and turn it off for 24-48 hours to allow the unit to defrost. Or I could use a blow dryer and try to speed up the process. Is this what it has come to?? My husband & I renovated 2 apartments in 2012 and purchased new appliances from Best Buy -- 2 French door refrigerators, microwave/cook oven -- to the tune of a $3,500 to $4,000. We thought this manufacturer had a trustworthy reputation, thus we bought their brand name. Unfortunately, problems abound with our refrigerator & microwave. The microwave required servicing as did the refrigerator. The freezer is cold but refrigerator is warm. Calls to the service department have been frustrating. Someone was to get back to us -- but didnt. In a total bureaucratic manner one blames the other for incompetency and POOR SAMSUNG SERVICE. Tell your family, friends, neighbors and even people you dont know well -- DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS.

My Samsung microwave (M# SMH9187ST) is out of warranty and the Sensor Membrane switch is shot (SE code). Whoever heard of making an over-the-stove microwave that cant handle venting steam from the stove? Anyway, replaced this part for about $75 and my labor and its good for maybe another year. Samsung should not be allowed to sell their junk in this country! Its my experience that their products are cheaply made and fail just out of warranty. Ive had problems with their TV (bad capacitors), their dishwasher (always stopping before wash cycle is over), and their refrigerator (wont make enough ice). I will not buy any more Samsung products. If it has Samsung on the label, stay away.

This refrigerator (Model RF263Teasesr) is 2 years old and nothing but problems. Water continually drips down door. Now 2 years old and the internal temperature is 55 - 60 degrees yet the control panel on the front says it is 38 degrees leading to food spoiling. Frost continually builds up in the twin cooling portion and within the icemaker. Nice looking fridge that cost $1600 and does not work. Never, never buy a Samsung fridge. Their help line is staffed by people who try to be polite but are of absolutely no help. To make matters worse, their warranty which supposedly covers defects in materials and workmanship one year and five years is irrelevant. The only way to determine on the extreme off chance something is covered is if a Samsung approved repair person services it. The closest repair person is over 120 miles away - so guess how much that repair bill will be that is not covered by Samsung. I will say it again, NEVER EVER buy these appliances. Samsung stick to a phone or tv.

We purchased a Samsung RF323TE French Door Refrigerator with a Bottom Freez
We purchased a Samsung RF323TE French Door Refrigerator with a Bottom Freezer and Ice Maker in approximately November 2012. Things were working fine until we started noticing a foul smell (like urine) coming from the water out of the dispenser. The water and ice then tasting bad as well. I thought it was the filter, so I bought a new filter, replaced it, and flushed it with several gallons of water through the dispenser as instructed. This worked for about a week, and then the problem returned. I thought I just got a bad filter, so I put a new one in and repeated the process. Shortly after, the problem is now back. I went to the Samsung website to try and troubleshoot it, but I could not find nor enter the model number. I got an error message saying the model number was not found! I have not called them, and I am not sure if we bought the extended warranty from Lowes, but the reports I have read are very discouraging. I will definitely report back, and do more research before my next purchase. Samsung will be hard pressed to get any more of my business.

Our 3 year old Samsung side-by-side with all the bells and whistles stopped cooling, both freezer and refrig side. After dealing with the noise created by freezing up inside freezing and fan hitting the ice, we learned to defrost it for a while then it worked. But now, after turning back on after defrosting a FROST FREE unit, the whole thing stopped working. Called Samsung and was told no warranty left on this appliance. Their repair company would take several days to come out, so I had my own repair person come look at it. They replaced several things, then came to the conclusion it was the compressor. This person even went online and discovered that there was supposed to be a 5 year warranty on the compressor that no one at Samsung told me about. I called back to Samsung to complain that I was technically deceived by not being told about the warranty. They said Too bad my technician had voided that warranty by trying to fix the thing and they would not honor any part of warranty. I am furious! I spoke with the highest department I could get to in Samsung with no success. I even asked for a CEO or someone like that who would listen to my complaint: Nothing. Now In stuck with a 300 pound paperweight~ wonder if it worth putting a new compressor in it since nearly everything else has been replaced? Dont Buy Samsung Appliances!!

Samsung dishwasher is broken down again. DMR78AHS 3 years old. Immediately the plastic tabs for the upper rack adjuster broke off. This is a common problem and has happened 3 times. Warranty covered too. Once the tab jamming the pump causing error code LE. No warranty this time, $179 to fix. Next the door tension spring is attached with a nylon cord and runs over a plastic pulley. Cord broke, door came crashing down, another $179 labor and $20 parts for 2 cords. Today it will not turn on at all, no response from control pad. I guess another $179 down the drain. It washes so poorly that we only load it half full, plates in every other space and dont even think about putting dishes in without pre-rinsing. We are very disappointed in this appliance. We have spent the price of the washer in service calls. We filed a request with Samsung when the tab jammed the pump for reimbursement of the service call but were denied. We feel a class action suit is appropriate.

At first the ice maker was the only problem. That happen about 6 months after we bought it. And the noise of the ice dropping (when it did finally drop, most of the time it was just stuck and tapping loudly) it sounded like a crash in the house. Next the repairman ordered a part that would fix it. It did not. When we called him back he said Samsung does not provide a repair manual and not many people have luck getting the ice maker to function properly. Then the whole control panel went out. I can not find a repair man to even come out to work on it. The food in the refrig. is freezing and the food in the freezer has so much frost on the food we can not eat it. I have read many complaints of the same issues. IS ANYONE INTERESTED IN STARTING A CLASS ACTION SUIT? I believe we have lots of people with these issues and the only solution is to replace the refrigerator. I CANT AFFORD TO WASTE THAT MUCH MONEY. HOW ABOUT YOU?

The salesperson raved about this dishwasher. We were told it was the top of the line. In fact, it was on back order and we waited three months for it to be delivered. The warranty was for 12 months. The dishwasher began to have trouble one day after the warranty and Samsung would not send a technician. It would run for about 5 minutes and then stop. It wasnt draining. In the two years we have had the dishwasher it has been fixed four times. A month ago it stopped working completely. The motor is toast. We decided after putting $400 into repairs that we werent willing to put any more money into it. Today we purchased a new dishwasher and its safe to say its not a Samsung. Im completely disappointed.

I purchased our Samsung French door refrigerator on 10/1/2011 through Lowes. At that time I also purchased their extended warranty; however, it expired on 10/1/2014, just 5 days short of the failure of our refrigerator. Lowes Service was very kind and immediately transferred me to Samsung, as they told me the sealed system would be covered by the manufacturer for 5 years. The representative at Samsung (after speaking and being transferred to a few different people) told me they would have a Samsung technician contact me within 24-48 hours. This was on 10/10/2014. I did not receive a phone call during this period; however, I did receive an email today, 10/14/2014. The email stated that they do not have a technician in my area, and wanted me to contact them via the supplied number to find a way to accommodate me. I was assigned a new reference number and transferred to multiple people until finally getting to speak to someone in the Executive Customer Relations Department. This person told me that Samsung couldnt repair my refrigerator due to my location, but that they could offer a pro rated buy back of it. I was told to email a copy of my original receipt to an email address they supplied me. I was told to write my name, phone number, and the most recently assigned transaction number on the receipt before emailing it to them. They told me that I would get a response within 2 business days of sending the receipt, but that I should call them if I do not get a response. The buy back is supposedly pro rated at 10% per year of ownership.

Ive noticed other reviews explaining the same problem. We brought this fridge less than 2 years ago brand new. We did not expect any problems this early on as we have always purchased a french door fridge because of its large capacity. We have a large family and would have to frequent the grocery store all the time if we bought anything smaller. I am sorry I bought this brand and will not buy it again. We noticed pooling of water just outside the freezer and have been mopping it up every morning. We did not know what is causing this problem-where the water inside freezer is coming from and have defrosted the fridge twice now. -which is extremely inconvenient as we cannot use our fridge during that time. We have turned off the ice maker to see if this was the problem but it is not. This fridge is a lemon. Do not buy. So far it does not seem that anyone who has tried to solve this problem has been successful. I am really tired of cleaning up water everyday and will need to save for a new fridge. It appears that ice is forming on the freezer bottom and then melting and spilling out of the freezer overnight and during the day. We recently removed the bottom drawer which over time turned into a bucket of ice. We defrosted the fridge and cleaned it and are now trying to locate what is causing the ice to form on the freezer bottom (which then melts over time and forms water at the bottom of the fridge).

Our family purchased a Samsung French Door refrigerator (RFF266-AEPN) in fall 2016. It was about $1,600 and looks nice. In February 2018 (after 12 months - when the warranty expired), we heard random beeping noises in the afternoon and evenings with the freezer temperature panel fluctuating wildly from -8F to 2F. I had a bad feeling when two high-quality appliance repair companies both refused to diagnose or fix ANY Samsung refrigerators. The Sears Appliance Service Company said the freezer fan was broken and that the replacement part was $650 in addition to a service installation fee ($150). So, now Im stuck with purchasing a brand new refrigerator in less than 2 years! Beware if you purchase a Samsung refrigerator. Im never going to buy a Samsung-brand refrigerator again.

During a heat wave mid January 2014 Victoria Australia this appliance decided to switch itself off. LED lighting on front panel showed no indication of this but the huge puddle on the floor sure did. All of the food in both refrigerator and freezer had to be thrown out. Repair people called, also call to Samsung who told me to try resetting the fridge, long story short. I followed their instructions to the letter, even cancelling the repairman.. What about all my food? Sent me forms, I sent back with photos of some of food on my tiled floor. On repeated phone calls was asked for receipts of food that was spoiled. Well slap me dead, please! Who keeps receipts on food, esp when frozen things could be 3 plus months ago.I was offered $100.00 compensation. I said that was not good enough. Do you know how expensive meat is? Anyway contacted consumer affairs here in Australia. They could do nothing except of advise to contact another govt organization and lodge a claim with them, VCAT, not to mention there is a cost involved with that. Three months on, no contact, no cheque and this last time I or my family will buy anything associated with Samsung.

I bought model RF217ACPN./XAA (freezer drawer on bottom, french door refrig on top) and it died in less than a year.... Drawers filled with water and starts making this horrible sound non-stop. Samsung has sent people here FOUR TIMES and the issue persists. After HOURS of phone calls/complaints/pleads with them to get people out to fix it, they kept saying we are now out of warranty, even though the issue has never been fixed since day one.... Finally, they sent out a tech who said it can not be fixed but I am now in limbo waiting for a replacement or buy back... They are trying to wear me down but they have picked the wrong person as I will move hell and high water for justice... We were so happy when we bought our first new fridge, and it didnt last a year and all the time and days off of work for technicians to come out and it STILL isnt fixed. Nobody has time to deal with this every few months and no one has an extra 2,000 to buy a new fridge a year after buying the 1st one. There has to be lemon laws about this and I am shocked to see how many people have the same experience. I found a class action suit everyone should look into. Even if your model is not listed, sign up... If it falls through, we should start a new one because there are too many similar stories here of people getting ripped off by Samsung! I urge you to never give up and fight for what is right... People shouldnt lose their hard earned money on a product that doesnt work!

If you want the worlds worst customer service and to deal with a company who will do anything to avoid standing by their warranty, then buy a Samsung. On May 16 our side by side fridge stopped working. We have been EXTREMELY frustrated with customer support. We were first told Williamston TV in Farmingdale, NY would be calling us to set up an appointment. After not receiving a call from them, I called their center and they informed me they do not work on appliances. I contacted Samsung again and was given Rods in Riverhead, NY. Someone was suppose to come out today between 9 and 10 am - but no one from their center ever answered their phone. My husband ended up losing a days work because he took off to be home for the repairman. When I googled that company, their average review received 1 out of 5 stars (with many references of no one answering their phone and people never showing up to their house). I then called Samsung again and after 1/2 hour the customer service woman told us those were the only 2 centers on Long Island. Finally she told us we could get our own diagnostic and email it. Local appliance company - Recommended new refrigerator. Unit has bad evaporated coil and cover. According to the warranty from website this is covered under the 5 YEAR PARTS AND LABOR. In addition to the inconvenience, we have lost several hundred dollars in spoiled food, my husband losing a day of work, and a freezer full of pumped breast milk for my 3 month old. We need to have a response and action done immediately as we are continuing to have to go to the store to get ice to store my sons milk and keep my one and half year old sons medicine.Samsungs email response - We are sorry to hear about your response, we will dispatch Williamston TV repair. (Note - this is exactly the company I mentioned that does not work on appliances.) Samsung Executive Customer Service phone response - We need to wait for Samsung to look over and evaluate their contract with Rods. If they decide Rods is not responsive then they will put our claim through an evaluation to see if they will in fact accept the local appliance diagnostic and allow them to do the repair, a process which could take two weeks to get an approval. Shame on you Samsung! Stop telling me I will do everything to help you and I am sorry to hear you are experiencing problems. We purchased a Samsung OTR microwave model SMH9187W (from Sears) in June 2011 and it was installed in July by Sears. I returned from a 3-week trip in mid-August and found the microwave door ajar and the light on. The latch hooks on the door had no tension and could not keep the door closed. Everything seemed in working order when I hand held the door shut. I called Sears and they said, Sorry, youre one month out of warranty. For $75.00, well send a serviceman out, but youll have to pay for parts and labor in addition to that. However, they offered a deal of almost $300.00 for a service contract to take care of the problem. Big deal. I can buy a new microwave (not a Samsung and not from Sears) for almost the same amount. So much for the consumer reports and salesman recommendation! So far, Samsung has provided no more encouragement. They recommended a close by repair service phone number and when called, they said they can supply the part for repair, but did not get back to me on a price. When asked, Is it difficult to replace the part? The response was, Not for us. Such beautiful concern. I asked, Are there instructions with the part? No. How do you people stay in business? Beginning to sound like pre-WWII Japanese junk.

There arent enough characters allowed to explain why I would never buy anything Samsung ever again! The latest in a long nightmare of disgust (after the Blu-ray player that scratched circles in our discs and ruined them), is the fridge (RFG297HDRS) that decided to turn itself into a waterfall water feature in our kitchen overnight. Water was streaming rapidly from the ice maker exactly 15 months after purchase. Fortunately (well, maybe not) we got a store extended warranty because, Samsung itself told us good luck and Godspeed. The authorized Samsung repair people from the warranty company changed the ice maker and left. Two hours later and after business hours, the thing started leaking again (not as bad, but pretty bad once it started). Unrelated to Samsung, the morons at Warrantech wont let you put in a new call for service for 24 hours. Insult added to the injury of this regrettable purchase (all electronics and appliances in our new home are Samsung - I loved their monitors from 10 years ago, but that was when they were scrappy upstarts, not bloated Chinese wannabes), lesson learned. My advice is, avoid these and any store-branded warranty, since youll need it and both are total trash!

Samsung Dishwasher Model #DMR 78AHS - I have only had this product 18 months and have had to replace the upper washing rack brackets twice. Once by home in-service repair, which was covered under warranty and then again by myself, which cost me $35 to repair. This is clearly a design flaw issue where the small plastic holders on the bracket break off and can potentially get inside the unit and cause it to make a grinding sound, which is unpleasant when you are expecting a quiet product. This is what happened to me. I have spoken to Samsung personnel and J & J International (supply part company) about the product flaw and neither company will admit there is a problem or provide reimbursement. Both keep referring me back to the other one. I have also sent e-mails to the CEO and Consumer Voice.
