I bought Samsung 3 door fridge with a bottom freezer (Model RF217ACPN) from Home Depot in Jan 21, 2014 (delivered/installed) with Home depot Warranty/protection plan of 3 years paying extra money. In June first week, realized my produce bins have been accumulating water and freezer not working properly. Frozen foods were melting and water accumulation everywhere. On June 19, 2014, We called Home depot - they said it is still under 1 year mfg warranty so we have to contact Samsung. Called SAMSUNG (#1800-726-7864) and complaint about the problem. They arranged the service technician (from Service Quick# 1-888-787-8425 who does servicing for Samsung). By the time appointment was scheduled, refrigerator started making big noises. July 02 - Technician checked for error code (cooling fan & defrost error) & fixed the problem - changed PCB as it was not sending the voltage, cleaned the condenser, cleared frozen area with steamer. It was running well but, AGAIN on July 27 (not even a month) the problem started with the cooling area, water accumulating in bin area. We thought might be temp issue so try to troubleshoot but not worth it. Called Samsung/Service quick on JULY 29 to complaint. Appointment is made for tomorrow August 4 and the problem is already added - my whole freezer is not working. No ice making. I am working on my replacement/ RETURN with SAMSUNG/ Home Depot. I recommend do not buy SAMSUNG HOME PRODUCT. They are only good with cellphone and TV (which is working fine, the one I have).

I am not the type to write reviews and complain about products but Samsung has gone beyond my limits with bad products and customer service. I replaced my kitchen appliances with Samsung stainless appliances. My microwave broke and I repaired it once, it was out of warranty and I replaced (less than 2 years old). My oven was heating correctly and now wont heat at all. I looked up the code to troubleshoot (E08) and found it was a common problem with Samsung oven. I called Samsung and was on the phone for 2 hours with no assistance. I contacted Lowes and they were not helpful either. I have an oven that doesnt work- Samsung and Lowes have offered no assistance. I think Samsung believes in purchasing another one. I do not feel like they made a quality product or help consumers to correct issues that were at fault with manufacturer. Very displeased with entire situation, it also takes a lot of time to call and be on hold for hours. I will never purchase Samsung product again.

For over 3 weeks, I have reached out to Samsung Customer Service to get a resolution on a new stove that never worked. No one has helped me yet. Below is a summary of the contacts I have made. My last two attempts to contact customer service have left me at a dead end. I was told there was no number for me to contact and that I must wait to receive a call from Samsungs Office of the President. After over 3 weeks without a stove and not a single follow-up call from Samsung, you can only imagine how frustrating this is. I have not cooked on a stove for over 3 weeks now.On 9-15-2012, I bought a new stove from Lowes in Fort Collins, Colorado. On 9-17-2012, I contacted Samsung Customer Service to report that the stove top did not work and caused large electrical surges in my house. On 9-19-2012, I called Customer Service again because no one had called me back. They apologized for the slow follow-up and got me in touch with Elite Services, a repair company in Greeley, CO.On 9-21-2012, the service company looked at the stove and determined that the entire mechanical components of the stove top needed to be replaced. According to the service company, an order was placed through Samsung. On 10-3-2012, after no follow-ups from Samsung or the repair company, I called again, only to determine that Samsung dropped the ball and that nothing was happening. From what I gathered, the part for my brand-new stove was no longer made and they would see if there was some sort of alternative part. My confidence continued to dissipate. On 10-3-2012, I emailed the Office of the CEO through the Samsung Customer Service website and received an automated reply that I would be contacted in 1-2 business days. On 10-8-2012 at 8:30, I contacted customer service again since I have not received any calls from Samsung. They basically told me my issue was being reviewed by a manager and that someone would be in touch with me by the end of the day.On 10-8-2012 at 4:00 PM, after not hearing back from Samsung, I called again. They said the issue was being handled by the Office of the President. It was not possible for me to speak to anyone, but someone would call me possibly that night. I could not call anyone in the Office of the President. I was told they would have to call me. There was a refusal to put me in touch with a person that had the authority to handle my issue. Again, I was told to be patient and wait.On 10-9-2012 9:45 AM after not hearing back from Samsung, I called again and of course, got the same answer. Customer service could not help me nor provide any answers. I must only wait for someone from the Office of the President to call me. A timeline was not provided and I was told that there was nothing else that customer service or I could do but to just wait for a call back.I researched a phone number for Samsung corporate, 201-229-4000. I was put on hold and waited to speak with customer service from the Office of the President. After a couple of minutes, a message came on and said the call volume was too high and to leave a message and theyll call me back. Through research, I think the President of this Samsung department is David Choi.Certainly, I am very disappointed with the complete lack of care, concern, follow-through, etc., from Samsung on a brand new product. I am very concerned that there is no confidence on the proper repair for a part that is no longer made. I wont settle for anything but a repair that makes the stove operate like new, or a new stove. I have not had a stove to cook on for over 3 weeks now and I have given Samsung ample time to correct this. Here is an excerpt from Samsung’s Code of Conduct: 12 - Principle 3. We respect customers, shareholders and employees. The Company will endeavor to reach just resolutions of customer-related disputes and will respond to the complaints of customers in a transparent, timely and effective manner. This has not been transparent, timely or effective.

On February 4, 2017 we visited P.C. Richard and Son and we replaced all of our kitchen appliances with brand new Samsung appliances. In July while I was cleaning the glass cooktop on the range, which we purchased for $800, I noticed it was cracked. The crack appears to have started on the Rapid Boil burner and extended in all four directions to the edges of the top. I immediately contacted Samsung support, fully expecting that the damage would be repaired as the range was under warranty. With just two of us in the home, the range is lightly used and well cared for.The customer service agent asked that I send in pictures which I did that afternoon. I received a call from Samsung support looking for the photographs 3 days later – at that point I was told that the pictures would be reviewed and that they would get back to me. Three days later, I received a call from Williston TV and Radio Repair to arrange a time to come out to look at the stove. I expected that Samsung’s agent would be coming to repair the stove, however, when the representative arrived he took more pictures and told me to expect to hear back from Samsung in a few days.A few days went by and I was contacted by Williston and told that Samsung deemed the damage to be physical and as a result would not be covered under the warranty. I asked what the definition of physical damage entailed, and the definition I was provided was basically everything under the sun – cleaning solutions, inappropriate cookware, abuse, etc. In fact it seems that the definition is setup to protect Samsung even in the event of defect.Still in shock, I started to research to see if others experienced the same issue and I was surprised to find many complaints posted to sites online all had a similar story. I’ve attached some of the complaints along with our receipt to this letter. After finding that other consumers had a similar experience, I contacted Samsung to ask for a second opinion, I was told that would not possible so I asked to speak to a supervisor who told me that he would put in a work order for another opinion.Three days later I received a call back from Williston to setup a repair call – I explained that I was looking for a second opinion and was told by the representative that they were the only local Samsung agent and there would be no second opinions. Exasperated I inquired as to the cost to repair the cooktop thinking that a couple of hundred dollars out of pocket would be worth putting an end to this issue. I was informed that the cost to repair the range would be $400 - which is half the cost of range. Even if I pay for the repair, I have no guarantee that the replacement top would not have the same problem because I am convinced that product is defective. My husband and I have used glass cooktops since the 1980s and have never had a problem. The cookware we use has not changed, how we cook and care for the cooktop including cleaning fluids we use have not changed – and yet within 6 months this cooktop is completely ruined and is unusable and here we are in August and we can only cook using the oven and our microwave. I believe that Samsung has an obligation to stand behind its product and the warranty. I expect Samsung to fix the stove top or replace the range.

I recently purchased a Samsung gas stove. When I received it the bottom interior panel was defective. There were lines in the finish. I used the oven three times and the finish started to peel off of the stove. I put in a warranty claim and the claim was found to be physical damage and not covered. I paid $3600 for this stove. The defect is not physical damage. Even if it was the finish should not be peeling and flaking off after three uses or not at all! Samsung refuses to send another technician out to document the damage properly. The first technician could not take a decent picture to show the defect or the peeling. I could have taken a better picture myself. I would like Samsung to come back out and properly document and resubmit the claim. Three oven uses and the finish is peeling off! I thought Samsung was a good name. Apparently its not. The smell of the finish burning off the bottom panel cannot be good to be breathing in.

Four years ago I purchased a Samsung Counter Depth Refrigerator. Last year the refrigerator quit, the repairman said the entire back was frozen. We surmised it was due to the ice maker being housed in the refrigerator (not the freezer), we defrosted it and I quit using the ice maker and turned it off. We use a countertop ice maker now. But lo and behold, it has done it again. This time I contacted Samsung who referred me to an authorized Repair person who ordered the parts to repair the refrigerator. It’s been a month now and I AM STILL WAITING!!!

I purchased my side by side fridge, model #RH25H5611SR/AA in October 2016. Mid July I noticed my fridge temp blinking. Got the manual to reset and it stated that because the temp has been changed it would take a moment for the blinking to stop. So, left it alone and when I awoke no more blinking. Two days later, July 18, 2016 the refrigerator temp is blinking again. This time I make a call to Samsung but now the now is set and no longer blinking; two days later after this it starts to blink again and I make a call to Samsung again on July 20, 2016. Im told to unplug or disconnect the power from the unit; I do this but when plugged in 2-3 minutes later the blinking has stopped but now my temp for the refrigerator is reading 61 degrees Fahrenheit. I give this info to the customer service rep who tells me that this is okay and that the temp will drop and to use the fast cool function. Now I got my first service call number on the 18th and at that time provided all the necessary information to the representative. On the 20th I asked if a new service call number would be given and was told that it wasnt necessary, the first service number was still valid. Anyway, the following morning the refrigerator is still reading 61 degrees. I call Samsung customer service on July 21, 2016, give this customer service rep the whole story from beginning to end only to be asked for the serial & model numbers. This info should have been in my file as it was given on July 18th. Anyway, once this info is provided again this individual wants to send me through all the troubleshooting steps I have already taken. When I explain that these things have already been completed with no resolution he wants to tell me that I will be responsible for charges if a technician is sent out. To say the least I explain once again to this individual that the troubleshooting has already taken place and it didnt work and I need a technician. He complies but now it will take 24-48 hours before I will be contacted. Was contacted by the service tech on Sunday evening that I had to be available between the hours of 12pm to 3pm. I get a call that the tech is running late and will arrive after 3pm. He arrives & checks out the unit. He turns to me and states that I need a new compressor. He goes on to say that this is a regular problem with this particular unit. The part has to be ordered and will take approximately 3-5 days for delivery and then they will contact me for repairs. My question is has anyone else had this problem? Is there a recall? Again, the technician stated that this is a common problem. I purchased my appliances at hhgregg and got the whole suite to include dishwasher, range & microwave. Was told that this was the top of the line appliance package. I also have Samsung washer & dryer (Home Depot). Did a little research prior to purchase but mostly price comparison but I apparently missed this site. Had I read all these reviews prior I would not have purchased all these Samsung appliances. Praying that my products dont fail but will definitely obtain some type of extended warranty to protect myself. It wont be Samsung.

Ive had the Samsung refrigerator for 3 years. The first year, it was leaking water and that was repaired. The second year, it stopped cooling and the fans were replaced. The icemaker has not worked most of the time. And this year, it stopped cooling on July 12. They came and replaced the fans and the icemaker. During that repair, they found an internal Freon leak. It took another 2 weeks before that was repaired, but the refrigerator was still not cooling. This time, it was apparently the compressor. They replaced the compressor on Friday, August 30th. I woke up Saturday to a nice cold fridge. I was happy about that! However, Saturday night, the temp was reading 60 degrees in the fridge and 40 degrees in the freezer! Im so over this. I have not had a working refrigerator since July the 12th. It is September 2nd. Were using a mini-fridge and a deep freezer. They told me it has to have the same repair done 3 times and then break again a 4th time before it qualified for replacement under the lemon law. Im very frustrated and will NEVER buy another Samsung product.

We purchased a RS277 Samsung refrigerator with french doors. And added a 5 year warranty to be safe. The transaction set us back more than $2,000. Right after the end of the warranty both the refrigerator and freezer parts stopped cooling. I woke up one morning and the temperature was 75 degrees inside the unit resulting in food spoilage. Samsung wants $147 to come and look at it. I see that a lot of reviewers are complaining about the same problem, along with complaints about cheap plastic parts which we have experienced as well. We will not even spend $1 on this appliance. Samsung will not stand behind their products and consider cracked plastic parts user abuse!!! Every previous refrigerator we have owned has lasted at least 10 years. Sad that we have to dispose of a refrigerator that looks like new!!

Lights went out in Control panel on door almost immediately after purchase (service person made some adjustment that lasted a while and then it went out again, next service call we were told it was not covered under warranty). Unit started freezing up under deli tray while water leaked into the veggie bins, one ice maker would freeze up, the other poured water out of the door flooding the floor on several occasions, and of course it was out of warranty by this time so we finally had the ice makers shut off. It continues to leak water underneath the unit so our beautiful Samsung refrigerator sits in the garage so we dont have any more floors to replace. Samsung knowingly and without accepting responsibility continues to sell theses defective refrigerators to consumers without regard to the hardships it created both financially and emotionally. These are not warranty issues, it is defective design flaws. We are very disappointed and dissatisfied with Samsung and our Samsung refrigerator.

I was cooking dinner on the cooktop. I looked down and saw that the front glass of the oven door was completely shattered. One front element on the top was on medium heat as I made dinner. I had not used the oven in several days. I had not banged or even touched the oven door. Is it still safe to use the cooktop? We immediately went to the electrical box and shut off the breaker as we didnt know what had caused the glass to break when there wasnt any heat in the oven. We have called Sears and they will send out a repairman sometime in the next 24 to 48 hours. In the meantime I am without a stove and will have to use the microwave or barbecue to prepare meals.

I’ve been wanting a range with a convection oven for a long time. I finally bought a handsome Samsung glass-top range with a convection oven at Home Depot. The oven is ok...but not anything special. It’s the cooktop that drives me crazy. Put the dial all the way low on the front left burner, and it will burn anything you put on it. Put the dial to low on any of the other four burners, and your food will remain cold. I called the Samsung Customer Service and finally got to a “range specialist.” He told me my utensils were to blame and then hung up on me. Don’t buy a Samsung range unless you’re a masochist..

From the day we got the Samsung refrigerator, we found small leaks on the linoleum floor. When the filter replacement light went on, I tried to replace the original filter with a Samsung filter, and the neck of the original--with its O-ring, broke off, requiring shutting off the water outside the refrigerator. While waiting for the replacement part, the entire ice cube maker iced up, spilling water out the front, onto the floor and ruining the custom wood enclosure. We are still awaiting a fix (thank heavens we purchased an extended warranty).

Bought the Samsung Waterwall Dishwasher in Black Stainless Steel in July. It was not delivered on time, Lowes claimed that Samsung sends it when they feel like it and doesnt adhere to the deadlines they themselves create. My refrigerator wasnt delivered until late August! We had our first dishwasher leak in August, had to replace the kitchen floor! The dishwasher has had many problems with cleaning, Ive been told its due to the distance between the washer and sink. So I basically use it as a sanitizer. Started leaking again, called Samsung, they sent the information to a contractor in town. Contractor ordered parts, 7-10 business days to get the part!!! Are you kidding me??? An emergency plumber could come take care of this today!!!Ive been on the phone with them for hours today, there is nothing they can do to speed up this process. The best they can do is turn my water off so it doesnt ruin my floor again! Thats wonderful with a house full of people and Thanksgiving at my house. I bought brand new so I didnt have to deal with this. I guess Samsung just doesnt mean quality anymore.

This is accurate and fair. Here it goes. I purchased this refrigerator in 2014 from the Home Depot. I also purchased the 5 yr extended warranty (just in case). It all began with them delivering the wrong unit and it also had a hole in the back from a forklift. The delivery company left it in my driveway and drove off and in the process, ran into and wrecked my neighbors picket fence and would not share insurance information for replacement. Yes. HD sent two young men to pick up the fridge without a lift on the back so all of us had to heft this into a high bed truck to remove it. Ended up renting a truck and picking up and installing the new one ourselves. So I have had this refrigerator for 10 months and it stopped cooling in the fridge and the freezer. I want to add that the vegetable storage units do not keep the vegetables for long at all. They go bad after a couple of days. Back to the technicians, 3, yes 3 hours on the computer chat with a (3) tech(s) from Samsung to reset the OFF reading on the digital display. After 3 hours of attempting to reset and do all the bells and whistles to reset, the tech(s) then tell me that the panel is bad and needs a technician to go to the home location and repair it. They said to call Samsung to create a ticket. Ok, also called Asurion who has the warranty. They said they would create a ticket and send me a food loss form. Sent food loss form and then Im told that a reimbursement will not be issued until after the repair? I then call Samsung who tells me that there should be a repair person by Wednesday or Thursday (it is Saturday) and they would create a ticket. Then I called the Home Depot who tells me that if the issue was not solved by Wednesday or Thursday they would send me a check for the fridge or a new one? WTH? Its now Thursday (6 days after fridge quits) and no one knows about the problem or any ticket issued. I snapped. We then start all over. I am then told that it is a simple fix and I would have to pay for the repair? NO, NO, NO. I am then sent to the secondary customer person who then creates ANOTHER repair ticket and tell me that the repair person will call me in about 48 hours or so and cannot even conceivably come until next Tuesday or Wednesday. No we are into 11 days of this issue. So, this Samsung refrigerator has NO repair people in this area and yet they are continuously sold. Now what? I paid over $2,200 (on sale) for this absolute piece of mechanical scrap with the worst customer service ever. NEVER, and I mean NEVER purchase this refrigerator or any Samsung refrigerator, NEVER. Repeat that to yourself.

I bought a new Samsung French Door model RF197ACWP refrigerator on July 24, 2013. The day after delivery, I discovered the freezer was freezing everything rock solid including my ice cream and it was showing frost on the drawer front. I called Customer Service and their response was to more or less slam the freezer door a few times. On the fourth day, I called again requesting a service rep to come out. I contacted the suggested repair service and they came out the next day only to have the rep say that there was nothing wrong with the unit. That it was set up to the Samsung specs. The ice maker then overflowed, so the ice maker has to be shut off every 4 to 5 days.

At the moment, our house is fully stocked with Samsung stainless steel appl
At the moment, our house is fully stocked with Samsung stainless steel appliances from top to bottom. Dishwasher, microwave, freerange oven, refrigerator, TVs, etc. You name it, we bought into the Samsung brand due to the tech features and the sleek designs, but we regret every single decision we made when buying the Samsung brand. Never have we ever had such an awful experience with EVERY single product from a single brand than with Samsung. Ill keep this review narrowed in focus to just the Samsung freerange oven, but I do want to provide some details around the numerous and frequent issues weve had with every other Samsung appliance we own.First off, some background, we usually buy our appliances from Lowes due to the proximity to our home and the frequent sales they offer. We started to renovate our house a few years ago and began purchasing new appliances at that time. From the start we had problems. First, we purchased a new Samsung waterwall dishwasher and within the first year, we had to repair a plastic motor part that drained water after the wash cycle. We decided to not purchase the Lowes warranty at the time (regrettably) and I was forced to watch a YouTube video of a guy taking the motor apart and using epoxy to repair a cheapo plastic part that was seemingly critical to the machines functionality. Next up was the Samsung microwave, which after 6 months had the motherboard supporting the dials blow out. It literally just stopped working, without warning or without an obvious cause. Luckily, this was within warranty and a new board was mailed to us, which solved the problem. Fast forward 3 years (which seems to be the magic timeframe for ALL Samsung appliances to crap out), were now having the exact same issue. So, outside of warranty, we need to figure out whether to fix or replace this crappy Samsung microwave. Next up we have the Samsung smart 55 LED TV. We bought this at Best Buy on a Black Friday deal 3 years ago and it was great...until it wasnt. No warning, it worked one day and then it didnt. Looked up all the DIY fixes and replaced the power board, no luck. It was JUST outside warranty and we know face the decision to pay more to fix it or just change to a new, different brand, TV. UGH!Now, to the Samsung freerange oven. To start, we are very, VERY, fortunate to not have had our house burn to the ground due to this incredibly dangerous and absolutely awful appliance from catching fire....TWICE! Some details, again, we bought our Samsung freerange range oven, Model NE597R0ABSR/AA, Serial Number J0V27DCC501158V, from Lowes back in 2019. We had a very old oven that just wasnt cutting it and we did quite a bit of research before purchasing this oven. We felt at the time that Samsung had very good reviews, despite some of their newer lines of appliances being out for a short period of time. We take the plunge and the experience of having it delivered and installed was great. Not more than 2 years of having the oven we had our first of two awful experiences with the oven. I cook for a family of 6 about 5-6 times a week, using 3 of the 4 range top burners and the oven at the same time. Thats a lot of cooking on a regular basis, so when we were simply cooking on 2 burners without using the oven and we saw FLAMES coming from the back of the oven, we were blown away. And terrified! We immediately turned the burner, got the fire extinguisher ready and shut off the main breaker to the kitchen. The flames subsided but the smoke was still billowing out of the back of the oven and the fire detectors went crazy. As we pulled the oven out from the wall (and took off the food, which eventually spoiled) we could see where the smoke was coming from. We unplugged the oven and took off the panel and the entire motherboard was melted....it was like someone doused it with gasoline and set it on fire. Our oven was ruined and the wall behind the oven was charred. Long story short, we filed a claim with Samsung and despite our oven being out of warranty for just a few months, they sent out techs (who didnt speak English) to replace the motherboard and it worked once again. We were pretty shaken from the experience and were hesitant using the oven or range with any level of intensity, but over time we began to use it normally. Not 10 months later, we were making dinner just like we always did (the night before Thanksgiving, nonetheless) and THE SAME THING HAPPENED, but on a different place on the the oven. We heard a POP, and the back of the oven started smoking and there were flames. Then the oven shut off. Once again, we turned off the oven, we pulled it out, we unplugged it, we removed the back panels and IT MELTED THE GODDAMN WIRES!This was the last straw. Samsung appliances have been nothing but an absolute disaster and even with warranties, they seem to stop working/break/catch fire/etc just days or weeks or months past the warranty timeframes. Samsung makes appliances and products that look great, but my god they are absolute trash. We are now in the process of replacing every Samsung product in our house to prevent a disaster in our home. Do your research, buy what you can afford, but please, do not buy Samsung. Its garbage.

I will likely never purchase Samsung home appliances as they have been unreliable, service technicians do not recommend, and my dealings with the manufacturer have been severely delayed, unresponsive, and unhelpful. I purchased my home 3 years ago in which the investor renovated inclusive of purchasing new home appliances. In 2020 my fridge went out, within the warranty timeframe. For 4 weeks, Samsung could not get a tech to come and service my refrigerator so they decided to provide me with a refund. I was never verbally informed by the manager to keep my fridge. I sent in my documentation and was told after my fridge was hauled away that I was supposed to keep the fridge. Customer support has been horrible, for months Ive tried resolving this issue. Samsung is not honoring the refund and I am out a grand as I replaced the appliance out of my personal funds. Ill never buy Samsung and will definitely tell my networks and other real estate constituents to stay away from these home appliances.

I am a 73 yo Veteran and have had a dishwasher all my life. This Samsung dishwasher (Model #AA3JAG9MC&05835Y) is the worst I have ever owned starting with the dumb design of the dish racks that make your glasses fall over and dished roll when the rack is pulled out or pushed in. The worst problem is that it does not clean the dishes, I have been embarrassed several times when guests poured a drink and then dumped it when they saw the glass was not clean. I wash the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher and still have to put a lot back in the dishwasher when they come out dirty. Ran the dishwasher twice yesterday and the dishes and glasses still come out dirty. Samsung wants me to spend my money to have their reps come out to fix the problem. Not going to happen, will throw out the Samsung and buy another brand that does what it is supposed to do.Also having problems with my Samsung Grand Prime cell phone. Friends are cursing me for not answering my phone only to find out that the ringer has changed from sound to vibrate or do not disturb WITHOUT my knowledge. Samsung can correct by a simple LOCK function on settings but after numerous calls and requests Samsung did nothing to correct the problem. Solution to my problems: TRASH MY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS AND GET ANOTHER BRAND THAT WORKS.

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher 18 months ago. I have had issues almost since I purchased it. You turn it on and it runs about 15 seconds and then quits. I use to be able to start it three times and then it would run a complete cycle. Now it doesnt work at all. It cost over $600 and it was even purchased during Black Friday so it was a great deal, yeah right! Customer service is absolutely no help, all they offer to do is sell you an extended warranty. This is an ongoing issue, it should be a recall. Seems like this should have been fixed, I will never buy Samsung again. I also work at Home Depot so guess what... I will make sure I share my experience with customers, since Im in the appliance area. Karma...

I hate my DMT800 Samsung dishwasher. It does not heat the water nor clean the dishes well. It is about 3 years old and its torn up. There are only certain repair companies that are allowed by Samsung to repair their appliances and some will not repair the appliance if its under warranty. The company I call charges $89.95 for a service call and if they can repair it, they will waiver the service charge. I think that this means it will be expensive to repair it. I have only had this refrigerator (Model Rs2530BSH) for 5 years. It started giving me problems in the 2nd year. Now, it is completely out. It is hard to get anyone to work on this piece of trash and the parts are very hard to find. Once I found the parts on the internet, I was told the main part was on back order (the main circuit board) because of high demand. That is a shame. No part to a refrigerator should be in high demand. That means it is a manufacturer problem and it should have been recalled. This is frustrating and costly. Everyone who purchased this piece of junk should receive some type of reimbursement.

Oh, my gosh. 28cf French Door, luckily with a five-year extended warranty. After less than 2 years, plastic crisper drawers cracked. Since we just moved in, there was minimal items in drawers. They said it was normal wear and tear. Original owner was 85 years old, for goodness sakes. Last year, ice maker froze, was replaced, and froze again. Christmas 2018, whole back wall was all ice. Tech had to stream it to melt. Had to come back with part. Oops. Had to come back again with more parts because back wall was cracked. Samsung claimed it was cosmetic damage. I would not settle for that. Customer service is horrible! The extended warranty company did not want to cover cosmetic damage. I sent a full backup package, with a timeline, to our AG Consumer office and filed a complaint. Shortly after that, I received a check for the purchase price as a warranty buy out. If you want the worlds worst customer service and to deal with a company who will do anything to avoid standing by their warranty, then buy a Samsung. On May 16 our side by side fridge stopped working. We have been EXTREMELY frustrated with customer support. We were first told Williamston TV in Farmingdale, NY would be calling us to set up an appointment. After not receiving a call from them, I called their center and they informed me they do not work on appliances. I contacted Samsung again and was given Rods in Riverhead, NY. Someone was suppose to come out today between 9 and 10 am - but no one from their center ever answered their phone. My husband ended up losing a days work because he took off to be home for the repairman. When I googled that company, their average review received 1 out of 5 stars (with many references of no one answering their phone and people never showing up to their house). I then called Samsung again and after 1/2 hour the customer service woman told us those were the only 2 centers on Long Island. Finally she told us we could get our own diagnostic and email it. Local appliance company - Recommended new refrigerator. Unit has bad evaporated coil and cover. According to the warranty from website this is covered under the 5 YEAR PARTS AND LABOR. In addition to the inconvenience, we have lost several hundred dollars in spoiled food, my husband losing a day of work, and a freezer full of pumped breast milk for my 3 month old. We need to have a response and action done immediately as we are continuing to have to go to the store to get ice to store my sons milk and keep my one and half year old sons medicine.Samsungs email response - We are sorry to hear about your response, we will dispatch Williamston TV repair. (Note - this is exactly the company I mentioned that does not work on appliances.) Samsung Executive Customer Service phone response - We need to wait for Samsung to look over and evaluate their contract with Rods. If they decide Rods is not responsive then they will put our claim through an evaluation to see if they will in fact accept the local appliance diagnostic and allow them to do the repair, a process which could take two weeks to get an approval. Shame on you Samsung! Stop telling me I will do everything to help you and I am sorry to hear you are experiencing problems. We bought a Samsung 26-cubic ft. French Door Fridge that was manufactured July 2011. It was installed in October 2011. After 12 months of use, the fan motor broke and the fridge vents iced up. This led to the temperature in the fridge going up, and all our food spoiling. We had bought the fridge through Sears, and had an extended warranty. After 6 weeks, Sears could not source a replacement fan motor from Samsung. We have heard that Samsung only makes a refrigerator model for about 3 years or less, then changes it. They rarely make spare parts, and if they do, they are hard to get. We are going to get a new fridge because Sears cannot source a part for our one year old fridge. Im amazed that such a small part is going to render our fridge useless. What a waste of a fridge, and what a disappointment in Samsung, who we thought would build a good product. This was a $2,300 fridge and should last more than a year, and should have available parts. A very good example of the low quality of appliances these days.

On July 2016 I purchase all my kitchen appliances from Samsung at Best Buy. Unfortunately its not a year of purchase and I had a very bad experience which I believe its not fair for any consumer. First, they advertises that the appliances are stainless steel, which is not. It is hard to clean. On the range side the flat top is also hard to clean and it scratches easily, which it shouldnt happen due to the fact that that is a every day use item with multiple use. I dont accept the fact that they are saying that it is cosmetic and also is tear and wear before a year of purchase. I live alone and barely cook for this to happen. Im very disappointed with this product and the way that they handle and washes off the responsibility of the quality of their products. This is not an item that costs $100 or less we are speaking of an item that the price is over a $1,000. Unfortunately according to them there is nothing to be done.

I can set the oven for 350 and the actual temp in the oven will be 375 one minute and 325 a few minutes later. There is also a 25 degree temperature variance from front to back and side to side in the oven. Forget cooking more than one item at the same temperature. When you buy such a big oven you plan on being able to utilize the space by cooking more than one item, but beware, they will be cooking at different temperatures. The top low burner is not low at all. It boils everything. The long middle high burner is okay on one end and way too crazy hot on the other end with flames so tall they lap over my skillet. We installed model # ME179KFETSR/AA in our remodeled kitchen in November of 2013. In February of 2014, 3 months later, the Microwave went bonkers (as noted in other complaints) and the control had to be replaced. It was under warranty, so there was no charge, just inconvenience. The repairman told me I should run the fan when cooking ANYTHING on my stove, even warming up canned vegetables. I took his advice and used the fan even though it is very loud. Unfortunately, this did not prevent the need for ANOTHER service call for the same problem in April of 2014. The problem has reoccurred for the third time and the microwave is now out of warranty. Even though the micro is less than a year and a half old, Samsung is only willing to give me the part at no charge, which will probably only cost them $30.00. Wow, what exceptional service. When I purchased my new home in July of 2010, I decided to buy my dream refrigerator along with it. I purchased the Samsung French door from Lowes for about $2500 - a real splurge for a single school teacher. I didnt get the extended warranty because I figured that anything that expensive would be well made with excellent customer service. Wrong on both counts. The first refrigerator lasted two weeks. The water spout wasnt working so Lowes told me to get a plumber. I had the plumber come and $100 later, the problem was still there. Finally, after a lot of complaining, Lowes switched it out for another one. I blamed the problem on Lowes, thinking they gave me a floor model. The replacement worked much better until I noticed snow on the right side of the freezer (about 6 months later). Of course I figured I did something wrong. I was still in denial that Samsung would sell a piece of junk for top dollar. I cleaned out the freezer and was careful about closing the door. Then I noticed the food in fridge would be completely soggy to the point where I had to throw things away. My biggest mistake was waiting a year and a half to call them. They told me to troubleshoot and go from there. This past holiday, the snow was so bad that my food was ruined in the freezer. I have gone the rounds with Samsung. They told me it will cost $500 and they will not pay any of it. Basically, what they are saying is it is okay for them to sell a product to a consumer for $2,500 and then expect a repair of 20% of that price in two years. Mind you, I am a single senior who barely opens the freezer or fridge for that matter. I take care of my things and never in all my years had to repair or replace any appliance owned. Samsung needs to make this right. They need to step up to the plate with integrity and replace all our defected refrigerators. Consumers have rights. It is illegal to sell someone something and not have it perform the function it was meant to do. I am boycotting all Samsung products and urging you to do the same. Please, please, please if you are considering a Samsung, please do not purchase. This refrigerator is defective.

I have to say I purchased a total kitchen appliance line from Samsung and washer and dryer and have never been so disappointed in a product. Fridge is exactly as everyone has stated from the first year (now 3 yrs old) it leaked below the veggie bins. I bought this because my 15 year old Kenmore was outdated and I figure not as energy efficient as it should be. Mistake number one. At least it didnt leak. To be fair I havent contacted Samsung as I have read many other comments and just feel its a waste of time.

We bought this double range in 2014. On Jan of 2017 we were moving the range to have a new floor put in. When the floor was done we moved the range back to where it was and plugged it in. When we did this it blew the breaker. We then shut off the electric and checked the range. We could smell smoke from the back of the range. We took the back of the power cover off and found the black plastic clamp that holds the wire to the power cord let go and the wires hit the cover and shorted out the range. I was told that there was nothing that could be done. I feel this is a serious safety issue and it could cause serious problems or fire. Will not buy another.

I bought this dishwasher from LOWES along with a matching Stove, Refrigerator and Microwave because I had all white appliance and the Refrigerator went bad after ten years so, I decided I wanted all my appliances to match and stainless steel seemed to be the trend. I bought Samsung because I ran a Circuit City and all our Samsung TVs were the best. 6 months after I purchased the Samsung appliances my wife started to complain about the dishwasher saying the dishes were not getting clean and then she complained that the detergent dispenser didnt open and then it was not finishing the washing cycle. We then called LOWES and told them the problem and they said make sure its a real problem because if they call out a repair person and there is nothing wrong they would charge us.So, I decided to look online to see if I could trouble shoot the problem. I found hundreds of people with the same problem as me. One of them claimed to have a fix. Take apart the Drain cover and clean the white sensor and then put it back together. I did exactly that, and it fixed the problem... for about two months. Then I had to take it apart again and clean the sensor, solving the problem for another 2 months. This has gone on every two months for about a year now and I am beyond disgust with Samsung. So I went back to the internet to see if there might be a more permanent fix to my problem only to find hundreds more people and complaints on the same dishwasher with the same problem. Still no permanent fix to be found just lots of frustrated people like me venting about their disappointment. I cant afford to buy all new appliances only 1 1/2 years later so I will be stuck taking my dishwasher apart every two months for several years to come. However, at the very least I can complain and just maybe it will keep someone else from making the same purchase mistake.

I am very disappointed with my Samsung SMH9207ST over the range microwave. This microwave was purchased along with a Samsung Range, and Refrigerator as we upgraded all of our appliances to stainless. We have not been happy with any appliances especially the Microwave and Range. The microwave has had many problems and now is displaying an error SE and wont work. We have tried to shut it off at the circuit breaker to correct the error. But, that didnt correct the problem. Samsung does NOT stand behind the problem. It seems that these products are designed to only last to the end of the warranty. Nothing beyond. Luckily our dishwasher was not a Samsung and we love it. Bottom line - dont buy Samsung if unless you want disposable appliances. I have never encounter the multiple problems that we have with these.

I bought a Samsung microwave about a year and half ago. At the time it was a fancy microwave with all the bells and whistles. Great right?! Yea...I thought so too. So after shelling out quite a bit for a microwave, the door actually failed within 1 year. It just randomly came up with an error code and stopped working. Apparently, this was a well known issue with this model and Samsung replaced the door. However, the replacement door is also now under a year of use and the back side of the door is plastic. Well it literally crumbled into pieces. I called Samsung and they told me conveniently the manufacturer warranty is 1 year total and the replacement door is not warranted for an additional year. So since I am 4 months outside of the original warranty (not when the new door was replaced) it would cost $250 at least to fix. Its a practically new microwave and it needs $250 to fix. Samsung does not care about customer service at all. I will no longer support their products. This is not right.

My review of the refrigerator is above. As of this weekend, my dishwasher will no longer complete a cycle because it will not drain. We have taken it apart and cleaned it thoroughly to no avail. I called Samsung and they told me I could purchase a 1 year warranty for $300 which would cover for 1 year IF the cause was something that was covered. I will never ever buy another Samsung product!

I should have listened to myself and only buy made with pride in the U.S. products UGH! We bought a SAMSUNG model RS265TDRS for an apartment that we use only on weekends. With 2 people, I hardly think that fridge gets much use but I do stock it with meats and other frozen food. I happen to notice my dog was licking something at the floor at the bottom of the fridge and that is when I noticed the leak was coming from the fridge. I open the freezer and refrigerator and everything is melting. I thought I maybe left the door ajar earlier ? NO, I did not! Who is going to pay for the spoilage now? Is Samsung going to reimburse me for all the food that got wasted? I also got Samsung TVs , Range, Microwave, Dishwasher, the whole works! Am I going to expect those to break down anytime soon?

The dishwasher has NEVER cleaned the dishes well. You have to wash them before you put them in the dishwasher. A repairman came out to fix it under warranty after a month and could not find anything wrong with it. It leaves food on the dishes and silverware. It has features similar to others of this price range, but they arent labeled very well and you are left wondering if you did something wrong to make the dishwasher clean so poorly. We bought all of the appliances for the kitchen (refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave) less than 5 years ago, and thoroughly regret going with Samsung. So many of the products have broken. The refrigerator was repaired less than two years ago, and the same problem is happening again. Our dishwasher broke a few months ago, and we had to repair it as well. Both repairs were almost $500 EACH! We have broken drawers, shelves, knobs. I can go on and on with the issues we’ve had with these appliances as well as with Samsung the company, but the easiest thing to say (and most useful from this review) is to save your money and go with a quality company that specializes in kitchen appliances, not electronics.

My husband and I purchased a white Samsung French door refrigerator (RF26XAEWP) about four years ago. Recently we are noticing that the porcelain beneath the water/ice dispenser has begun to rust. When I contacted Samsung customer service after getting the run around from them and not being able to understand them I was told that the warranty had expired and that this was cosmetic damage and we would be responsible for the repair. When I expressed concern that this refrigerator was rusting after such a short period of time and that there were many many complaints online about the same issue I was told there was nothing they could do as the appliance was no longer under warranty and that I would have to pay out of pocket to have the door replaced. This is absolutely unacceptable as this was a large ticket item. I tried to call corporate and could not get through. Bottomline is I will NEVER buy another Samsung product again. Buyer Beware!!!

I started an online chat with Samsung. They told me to unplug it and wait for their people to come. That was 4 days ago. I have since had 2 chats and 2 phone calls with Samsung. Have owned my Samsung appliances for 2 years, 6 months. The dishwasher leaks from the front just like described by many others. I have found that when loading the dishwasher the last time before running the cycle, I physically push the front gasket all the way around the opening (just run my finger around it) and it lessens or stops the leaking experience. This of course is not acceptable performance but it may help others until they replace their Samsung Dishwasher with another brand as I will do soon rather than spending any more money on this poor performing product. I will say, I LOVE my other Samsung appliances - Refrigerator, Stove/Oven, and/or Microwave - they all work GREAT and would definitely buy again.

Read all of the negative reviews on Samsung refrigerators. They all say the same thing.... Ice maker freezing up, water pooling in and under the meat and vegetable bends, water overflow on the floor, filter light will not go off. Dont just read what is said on this site... Go anywhere on the web. You will see nothing but the same negative reports. Samsung will not recall nor fix the problem. Samsung sent out a service memo to the companies who sell their refrigerator in June of 2015 advising them of existing problems with the refrigerator. Lowes sold me a Samsung refrigerator without telling me about the existing problems or the service memo. Samsung will not stand behind their product. The only way we, as consumers, can fight back is to boycott the company and the stores that sell their products. Consumers are fighting back... There is a class action law suit against Samsung over these faulty refrigerators. The stores who continue to sell Samsung products without telling the customer about existing problems should be sued also.

June of 2014 we purchased a Samsung refrigerator model# RS261MDRS/XAA. As soon as it was delivered and installed we left for vacation for 3 months. When we returned, a corrosive stain was on the water dispenser that cannot be removed. We did not even hook up water supply so it was not caused by water. Contacted Samsung, they sent out a service tech to look at the issue. Samsung concluded it was a COSMETIC ISSUE. As of now after many calls to Samsung they stick to their conclusion. So I have a brand new damaged refrigerator caused by a defect in manufacturing. This substance is like a acid that came from above and ate the plastic insert. There is no way in this world that this issue was caused by the consumer. Where I stand now is if I call service on this issue it would be at my expense. Hands are tied on a cosmetic issue. SAMSUNG, you need to listen to the consumer instead of text book notes.

I bought Samsung refrigerator two years ago. The door shelf broke three times so far. The first two times refrigerator was under warranty so Samsung provided free replacements. This is side by side refrigerator and it has water dispenser. The water is constantly dripping from the water dispenser. Also it has a very slow flow. It also has ice maker, however, whenever you try to get ice, it just spills all over the place because the opening is too wide. Very poor design and quality. Samsung tried to sell extended warranty. I told them when this refrigerator dies I am towing it to landfill and I will never ever buy anything Samsung. This is an extremely low quality refrigerator that was selling for $1800. I also have Samsung microwave. Do I need to tell you that the microwave door broke in less than two years? It was the plastic hinges that are again very brittle. $200 to fix (50% of the original purchase cost). Shame on you Samsung for being cheap and using cheap brittle plastic parts.

We have had our refrigerator for about 3 years and had many problems with it. The defrost drain continually stops up and the water pools up in the crisper, the meat compartment and the bottom into the refrigerator. You have to unload the refrigerator and manually defrost it (takes 24 hours or more). This lasts for about 6 months and you have to do it again. The ice maker is noisy and continually drips water out of the dispenser. The ice maker also sweats inside which causes many problems. The doors are very hard to close and keep close. When you shut one door, it pushes the other door open. You must make sure you push both doors at the same time. Samsung was no help even though this is a widespread issue with their refrigerators. In 2014 we bought a Samsung dishwasher at Lowes. We had always bought Bosch but the deal being offered by Lowes/Samsung was too hard to pass up, I wish we had. I wont bother with the model number because after reading the reviews here it is obvious it doesnt matter, they all have problems. I am pretty good at fixing things myself and our dishwasher is still running, but I have better things to do in my retirement than fix a dishwasher! If you go to Youtube you will find many videos showing you how to fix your Samsung. My advice is DO NOT BUY a Samsung dishwasher! If you own one, make sure you put a cup of vinegar in AFTER the wash cycle starts, (this is particularly important if you are on a well and not public water). If you do it before you start the dishwasher, it will pump the vinegar down the drain upon startup. Also after each wash, clean the door gasket at the bottom of door where it attaches to the dishwasher. Black gunk/mold builds up there, pretty disgusting. Based on reading other reviews, if you are out of warranty and cant do your own repair, take your loss, and put your hard earned money into purchasing another dishwasher.

I really want to share my bad experience with Samsung Microwave Model ME18H704SFS/AC. I wish I would google Samsung microwaves before buying one. I just read report from people who bought microwave in February 2016. I bought mine on May 2, 2016 from Best buy in Vancouver Canada. I also bought 5 years warranty on this microwave. On 28th day after purchasing we tried to warm up bowl of soup (in microwavable dish), and we felt a burning smell coming from microwave. When I opened the door I discovered a fire on the right wall of microwave. I was able to stop the fire with kitchen towel. I cannot operate this microwave any longer because it is a fire hazard in my house.Same day I called to SAMSUNG customer service. They gave a case number and told me that somebody will contact me. Next day I called them again and they transferred me to some kind escalation department. The manager from escalation department said that if he will get pictures and receipt from me now, he will speed up the process. I emailed him pics and have not heard anything after that. On Monday, I called again to customer service. The manager told me that she could not find me in her database, she also said that they were not able to open up my pictures. I told her to transfer me to the escalation department. After 30 min wait I was able to talk to a guy who confirmed receiving pictures. He also was able to open them up. He told me that he sent my case to the Head office. I asked him why nobody sent me a simple email with acknowledgement of receiving my email. He did not have any answer for me. I asked him what is the reasonable time to get an answer from Head office. At the beginning he said 48 hours and then he did not know. He also said that he has no idea what kind outcome I should expect. And just to add to this story... I called to the insurance provider for Best Buy. They told me that they cannot touch my microwave because it is a factory defect which appeared in first 30 days. I am not even upset anymore. This company is a joke. Samsung really needs to get a lesson for producing dangerous and unreliable appliances and treating consumers so poorly. I will wait for 48 hours (legally you have to give them some time to rectify the situation). If Samsung will not replace their lousy microwave I will take this matter to Small Claim Court and I really want to.

Whoever designed the rack adjuster did not do a very good job it. The plastic tabs that hold it in place keep breaking off. If were using it to move the rack up and down I could understand that over time it might break but we never use it to move the rack up or down. The rack has been in the same position from the time the dishwasher was installed over a year ago and about every six months I have to replace the adjusters because the tab breaks off and lets the rack drop. This is one of the main reasons we will never buy another one and replacing this one even though we have had it less than two years.

On August 2, 2018 a complaint was filed with New Jerseys Better Business Bureau against Samsung. The same day the BBB forwarded my complaint to Samsung and to my surprise the same day we received a phone call from Jamie ** from the Office of The President. Mrs. ** set up an appointment with Service Quick to repair the product for August 6, 2018.On August 6, 2018 I received a phone call from the technician assigned to my repair. Before even showing up at my house he told me he didnt have the parts to repair the refrigerator. He also stated that he was unaware of the refrigerator not working. He stated that the compressor issue is outside of his expertise and would need to be rescheduled. We had to wait another week without a refrigerator and I also needed to request another day off of work to accommodate the repair.I reached out to Mrs. ** to receive guidance because of the above miscommunication. Several phone calls and e-mails were sent to Mrs. ** and were never answered. Why reach out to someone to help solve a problem if you are only going to ignore them. It makes the situation much worse than better. Our refrigerator was repaired on Monday August 13, 2018. On Wednesday August 15, 2018 we purchased groceries. We woke up this morning to the freezer failing two days after the repair and losing all groceries that were in the freezer for a second time. Service Quick is wanting us to wait additional time to schedule the repair.During the conversation with Mrs. ** it was expressed that this was a one time accommodation to repair the unit. This ended up being a sealed system repair per the ticket. This is covered under the five year manufactured warranty per the technician and also our paperwork. So I am not sure what the one time accommodation is and why this is being treated as if Samsung is doing us a favor by fixing the product which is still under their manufactured warranty.I have already taken two days off of work between two technicians and now am being asked to take an additional day off of work. I need your assistance in getting someone out here to finalize this repair and/or replacement. Paperwork was given to the repairmen showing the ice-maker had been replaced (4) times previously. Now it has been replaced five times. This certainly falls up under Californias lemon law. As a consumer I have presented the product to the manufacturer or its representative so they could diagnose the defect and repair it. Along with the duty, as a consumer I have the right to expect the product will be repaired honestly and expeditiously. I have left prior to today a total of three telephone messages and three e-mails for Mrs.**. All have remained unanswered.

Broke down not even 2 years. Had to replace the pump. I researched and there are many complaints for the same reason. Spent a lot of money to replace parts. I would never again purchase Samsung appliances. Same problem with my Samsung stove.
