My wife wanted a Viking range and the purchasing process went smooth and fast. The quality is great. The only thing is the door hinge of the oven is a little weird. It keeps on popping out and I just pop it back in. I dont think its to the quality of Viking but I never reached out. I don’t think theyre gonna give me a whole new door hinge. Besides that, everything else is perfect. It works great.

My Viking range is a well-made product and it looks great. And while its kind of shocking how heavy it is, everything is working great on it. I really like the induction in terms of speeding and also, it is fairly quick at heating things up and turning things fast. So, its nice and seems to be a little bit cleaner in terms of the heating element and keeping the top clean. The only thing is I cant see where theres a built-in timer in there. Luckily, I have the microwave over the oven, so Im able to use a timer on top of the range. But if I didnt have the microwave, itd be more of an issue.

I liked the vegetable drawer that the Viking refrigerator has that you could pull out separately, and I really liked the handle. I also like the French doors. The icemaker keeps going out, but otherwise, the overall quality of the refrigeration seems to be good.

We purchased a Series 3, 30, gas, self-cleaning range. I installed it about 3 months ago. The first thing I noticed was that the way it was attached to the pallet, caused the unit to slide forward on the pallet. The plant installed an oak rail in the top center of the pallet. The front end of this rail dented the stainless steel front skirt. Its not a bad bend but you will notice that it is no longer straight. Recently after cooking many dinners on it, you cant get a really low flame for simmering on any burner. I never had this problem with my low-end GE.I also have noticed that on occasion the back small burner will not light, and must be tried several times. The most disturbing issue is when any top burner is on, low or medium, and you open the oven door, the flame on the burner want to go out, or does go out then re-lights itself. Not good! Also after cooking on the top stove area, any drops of water that might splash out of a pot, cannot be allowed to dry, next to a hot burner, or a permanent awful looking mark will mar the cooktop. It is not removable. All of these problems should not be attached to a $5000 range.

I had had a Viking refrigerator in my old house and I loved it. When I moved into my new house, I didnt look into anything else. I wanted a Viking. I like the size of it, the way its a side-by-side opening door and its a refrigerator on top and the freezer at the bottom. I also like the dependability and it’s quite easy to operate. When the power goes out, its so easy to reset it.My experience with Ferguson which sold me the refrigerator was not great, though. I told the guy who delivered it, “The light in the freezer doesnt work. You shouldnt leave unless you can make it work.” He told me, Youre gonna have to call service for that.” I was not happy with that service but the service guy who came out was great. He let me know before he was making sure that I was at home. He was very efficient when he was in my house. I was very happy and I’ll buy another Viking again. Its a great quality product that’s very dependable.

I like Viking and the quality of the stove. Ive been using them for years.

I bought a Viking Range for the size because I had a very limited space on my counter. I thought it was a good brand but Im disappointed. They have all this gas power but if you spill anything on the ceramics and the top, it’s a major disaster. If by accident you spill oil or water, you need to burn yourself and clean the stove immediately. It gets marked very easily. Im a cook so it’s crazy. Im completely shocked. I Googled what to use to clean it and everybody is complaining that it’s ridiculous that you spend so much money and you can’t clean the stove afterwards. No water, or anything because it will leave a mark.

I bought a new Viking 48” side by side fridge freezer 10 years ago and had the kitchen built around it. It looks fantastic and I felt pretty smug thinking I had a sub zero look but for a fraction of the price. However, 2 months ago it suddenly failed and started heating up rather than cooling. Here is the problem - I’m in the UK and Viking no longer trade in the UK. Despite contacting Viking numerous times I am yet to find an accredited engineer that will touch it. Quote “ I used to work on them but it got so difficult to get parts”. I found a local engineer who has serviced it and replaced the refrigerant but it is still faulty and now he tells me there must be an internal leak and therefore impossible to fix. So I have a £6,000+ fridge freezer which is useless and being more than 300kg in weight I don’t even know how I can remove it. To date Viking has offered no advice or help. No customer service whatsoever.

Just got this double oven. it is beautiful. However, when in use the controls are so hot you cant turn the interior light off/on without burning yourself on the control panel. Seems like its getting too hot. What do I do?

Viking Ranges is the absolute worst. I started May 15th trying to get two sets of two products and they were finally installed yesterday. So, it was three months to get these products. And I couldnt use my oven because the door wouldnt close. And twice, the wrong parts were sent. They even said they would definitely get the correct parts to me via mail but I never got them, so then I went to customer service. Awful. I got the right parts only on the third time because I called the customer service woman who was terrific and helped me as much as she could. Ive also called an appliance dealership that I work with in Pennsylvania and talked to the repair people here in New York who sell Viking and they have both said theyre not recommending anybody to buy Viking anymore because their repairs are so awful.

We owned a Viking Range years ago, and this is our second one. We purchased our first Viking from Fergusons and they had to take the stove back because somebody on the assembly line didn’t put the installation which was supposed to be there. The Viking team had to totally remove the stove and bring us a different one, and that was the first and only negative experience that we had. Then we moved to Arizona and when we got there, we had a stove top, so we ended up selling the stove. When we moved back to Atlanta, we wanted to get another stove, and my wife wanted to buy a Wolf. She already ordered the Wolf but I canceled the order because the Wolf stove look was like four little red dots and didn’t have any character or personality on the front of it. Its performance may have been comparable or even better than the Viking but I didn’t like its bland look, so I decided to get another Viking. The people that delivered it this year were very professional. They bolted it down the way they were supposed to and they took their time and did everything right. I don’t remember them bolting down the first one that we got. I just remember them sliding it in and they never put that secure bracket on the back, which they did this time. That safety bracket was supposed to be there because that’s a very heavy stove that may fall over. I love the quality as well as the performance and style of the Viking range. It has a high-end, tough look to it and high-intensity burners. It’s the best stove sold in the market and it’s worth the money.

Viking was the one recommended by the sales representative at Best Buy. Also, I checked some reviews online and it was so good. I wanted to try a new brand and I decided I wanted to get that one. What I like the most is that the fridge is very spacious. More than a regular one. However, I had to call Best Buy because it stopped working. They fixed it for free because I had it for less than a year at that time. So, I had my doubts but it has been working fine since then.

I moved into a new house and Viking was part of the appliance package. There was a Viking range and hood but there was no refrigerator, so I got a Viking refrigerator for continuity of the kitchen. The quality of the refrigeration is great and I don’t have any complaints about it. Its lighting is really great. If I nudge the doors though, they dent easily but I’m happy with Viking’s quality.

Only two refrigerators would fit in my kitchen. One was Sub-Zero and I wasn’t in love with it. The other was Viking. It has more room at the top and I like it a lot.

I have no idea why Viking is rated so highly. I have a propane wall oven that takes 45 minutes to heat and will get cooler the longer it is on. I hope people read this review and decide not to purchase thousands of dollars worth of **!!!! Do not buy!!!! Oh yeah, I’ve tried to have it worked on and called Viking several times. Guess what! They don’t service my area! It was serviced when this POS was sold for $5000! Save your money and get something that works! I HATE my oven especially since today is Thanksgiving and it will not keep a steady temp! I have been trying to bake biscuits for over two hours! I wish I could put in better words how much this oven sucks and so does the customer service!

My Viking microwave display stopped working requiring me to replace the entire display. I would not recommend ever buying Viking. They are expensive to buy, expensive to repair and are not built with quality in mind!

We purchased a Viking Gas Range this summer for our kitchen renovation. We were excited about our purchase as we had saved up for this particular gas range. After install, we have been less than impressed. When preheating, the gas oven makes a very loud bang! (As if metal is expanding inside.) It scares me every time I hear it, even though I know its coming. When I called customer service, I was told once that it was normal and a second time, I was put on hold for 20 + minutes, only to hang up because I didnt feel my concern was being valued. We also smell a very strong smell of gas or exhaust when the gas oven is on.My concern is that the loud bang and smell of gas/exhaust should not be present in an appliance that is so expensive. We expected higher quality when we made this purchase. Ive tried calling customer service and entering a claim on the website (which seems to be permanently down and unable to accept claims online). I want to be in love with this purchase, but Im not. In fact, I feel a little uneasy using the gas oven due to the experience Ive had so far.

We went to Voitek and Viking was offering a buy-one-appliance-get-one-free in 2019. When we were buying the stuff, the sales rep was fabulous. But Ive had some problems with my Viking products. During the beginning of COVID, I had to be very understanding about trying to get people out here to fix it. But once COVID uplifted, they kinda dropped the ball for me. We couldnt get anybody to help. Then I reached out to Viking myself and now Viking is trying to help me. But cooking the range is fabulous. Its my favorite product in the whole world. I love to cook on it and to bake in it. I love to do everything with it.

The refrigerator was not working for over two weeks (totally dead - no cooling in the freezer and the main refrigerator compartment) while Viking and its local repair service went back and forth on resolving the subject. It was quickly apparent that Viking keeps an arms length distance from such issues. Also apparent is that the local repair does not keep Viking parts in their inventory for repair purposes. Repairman said the refrigerator was shipped from the factory with improper soldering of tubes. After several visits and re-soldering of tubes, the refrigerator again worked. However the repairman said if unit stops working again that is could no longer be repaired - in other words, a dead inoperable appliance. Top dollar was paid for an appliance which at the end of the day was of shoddy quality, and not properly addressed by Viking under its own warranty. Inexcusable.

I love to cook. My next-door neighbor used to be a head chef for a French restaurant in New York City and she has a Viking. So I was looking at getting one. At the time, I was also looking at Wolf and an Italian stove. But the guy at the Appliances Connection down in New Jersey talked me into buying the Viking. I heard that Viking had some issues back and he convinced me that those issues had been resolved. So I believed him and I bought it. But Ive been frustrated a little bit because it came not working. The small stove would ignite but it would go out and it would keep trying to ignite over and over again. I called Viking and I registered it, but she told me they didnt have anyone who repairs it in our area. I told her my next-door neighbor has a stove and that Id ask her. But the woman said no and never followed through with getting someone to repair it.However, the people I bought this stove from, Appliances Connection, stepped up and found a repairman. They organized the repair and now it is fixed. Im very happy. But someone needs to talk to Vikings service department rep. Other than that, the quality of my Viking range is fantastic and the cooking capacity is awesome. I would recommend it.

I bought a refrigerator and I feel very good about it. The dishwasher which came with the refrigerator was kind of faulty so we had to change that off. Viking promised us when we bought them that there was a 10% cash back but we havent received that cash back yet. Also, my fridge got delivered in three months. It did not come at a reasonable time when it was supposed to come and it was difficult to chase anybody. Viking could be better in communicating things. Some of the shops I went to gave me heads up not to buy Viking as it will take months to get the fridge. I still wanted to go with Viking because I heard good things about it. We like the product quality and the product themselves for now.

My husband and I purchased a BRAND NEW Viking VDOF730 professional series double wall ovens with the french door. It was installed on December 21st 2015. It worked beautifully for 10 days. The bottom oven stopped working on December 31st 2015. Turning the bottom broiler or convection on and the oven still doesnt get over 150F. When I finally got through to Viking customer service this morning after a 30 minute wait on hold, they authorized appliance service to come out and fix it on Wednesday, the day after we can no longer return the product. Let us hope that it keeps working afterwards.Updated on 03/10/2016: I first posted in the beginning of January 2016 regarding brand new french door stainless steel double wall ovens. It took several days for a serviceman to come out and verify that indeed the bottom ovens are not working. He ordered the replacement relay board and bottom element that day. Then the service department did not know when the replacement parts would ship. After almost a month of daily telephone calls to the customer service and to Pacific Sales, Viking finally agreed to replace the whole unit.The second unit was going to be sent to another city as there was an error on geography. Another two weeks pass. The replacement was damaged -- enamel cracked and scuffed off, oven webbing ripped, spiral machine marks on the racks and off-center doors. They were notified and we were told another new oven would be sent out. This time, 11 different signatures were on the inspection paperwork and it was installed. Then the installer damaged the doors. A different service is finally sent out -- without the french doors, or bottom hinges as the bottom oven is not closing properly. But it is okay to cook with -- so I am told.Within 2 days of it being installed, the ovens are running hot. You set it for 325 and it goes to 450. I am greatly annoyed. Yesterday, we are not notified that the service guy would be here to replace the inside of the french doors and the bottom oven hinges -- on a brand new oven. It was a fluke that he pulled up as I was coming home. He installed everything but still doesnt like the replacement hinges. I am giving it another try for a month; otherwise, goodbye Viking ovens. The gas cooktop appears to work fine although our downdraft pulls the flame out. I would NOT purchase their products again.

I liked how the Viking products were built. They seemed very sturdy and the quality was very good. I love the high powered burner. Theres one thats super high power so I can boil water really fast. But recently the timer broke on my range. I called the repairman who found damage to the door. The range was working fine but this was something that couldnt be repaired so it was a big deal. He then contacted his Viking rep but afterwards they sent me an entirely new range and covered the installation. They were no longer making the model that I had, so I ended up with an upgrade and I didnt have to pay for a thing. I was blown away.The issue with the timers is that when the oven is heated up really high for cleaning, that destroyed the timer mechanism. The ranges dont come with a timer anymore and they had improved the range since I got mine in 2012. They sell a kit in case peoples timers go out. But what they did for me was amazing. They stand by their product. I will be a Viking owner for life.

We remodeled our kitchen and I got all Viking appliances. We wanted a higher-end brand and I knew Viking was considered in the top-of-the-line tier. It was between Viking and Sub-Zero but Viking had a special – the dishwasher was free. Overall, I’m happy with the quality. There are just a couple of things that bothered me. The fridge had deep scratches in it and we hadn’t made them but I didn’t notice until the 30 or 90 days so they wouldn’t do anything about that. Also, two months into it, the fridge light went out. The freezer light also went out. I was just really worried about what would happen once we were out of warranty. I told them to come and change it right then. They extended the warranty for three months but there have been some issues that cause me to worry. It would give me more peace of mind to have more of a warranty. I wouldve preferred a whole year added onto that.The produce drawers are at the bottom and although I don’t have my drawers overloaded, they can get full and I can see they get off-kilter because there are these weird short tracks that move that the drawers hang on to. So it’s a little bit hard because you gotta take the thing apart to clean it, at least with the way my kitchen is set up. I’m sure there’s a purpose for that but I think it shifts and then my drawer falls. I wouldn’t be surprised if they came up with a slightly different design. On the other hand, there’s a lot that I really love. Everything is a lot more visible with this and one of the reasons I liked the single door was for the big, wide area to put things like a pizza or a party tray. So that really comes in handy. I also like that on the door of the fridge, this one has metal railing, which I like way better than plastic. That’s what my last refrigerator had. I also love the pull-out freezer. I love that there’s a little tray basket top. That did have an issue where it rusted for some reason but they changed it out for me so it’s good. I appreciated that.

I heard about Viking ranges through the grapevine and we like the features. The range is a high-quality one and it operates well.

I was familiar with the Viking brand and it felt that I like the quality better than the alternative brand. The only problem is that its supposed to be fixed. The knobs that turn the gas on and off don’t pop out as they should. Some of them are maybe defective and even the ones that appear to work well really aren’t very good. The other day I was walking by it and I had a shoulder bag and it swung and just bumped against the range. And the gas went on full blast and flames were coming up about a few inches. So it literally turned on the whole stove by just swinging against it, which is concerning for everyone. I’ve never experienced that with the other range before so I would definitely redesign that system to be safer.

I had sliding shelves in another range so having sliding shelves in the rack inside and the price was very important to me so I chose a Viking Range. We had a problem at first and it got taken care of by their reps. So far, the quality is good.

We’ve had Viking for years and thats the reason we got them the second time. We like the stove for the way it’s set up. The refrigerator’s open a lot and the temperatures on it have always stayed the same unless it’s real hot out. The new one has got the LEDs in it, which is nice. The doors in it are a little bit nicer than the old ones we had. We bought the items over the internet and it was real good. At this day and age, it seems like most of the time you buy something, it’s good for three years, and it goes to hell on you. We try to buy quality, and it shows. Viking has been a good product. The stainless steel is nice. The only thing we didn’t have last time was a dishwasher. This time we bought one. My wife had used the dishwasher once and it worked good. It’s real quiet.

I have a 60 professional quality Viking freestanding oven & range. Its never worked correctly - the oven fails with one or two uses, and this started within 24 months of original installation. Ive spent over $1,500 on repairs (Viking said it wasnt under warranty, though the warranty clearly states THREE YEARS) and it still doesnt work. The Viking authorized repairman told us this week Viking is not willing to take responsibility for their product and theyve suggested you have the oven wiring replaced at your cost....I am so frustrated with Vikings treatment of our customers that Im considering not working for them any longer. This is what I get for $9,000?

We were in the market for new appliances. We were at a store, and we liked the look of the Viking range and everything about it. So, we went that route. The quality of the range is great. Everything is what we expected. However, it took a long time to receive our product. I’m not sure if it was because of Canadian standards because we are in Canada, but the process of receiving it was quite long and dragged out. I’m not sure if that was the retailer or Viking, too. Also, I am not sure if there is a light for pre-heat because I dont see that on there, so I just guess as to when the ovens ready. But, other than that, everything has been fine.

My Viking double drawer under counter refrigerator is fantastic. The unit itself feels of super strength quality. The temperature is always spot on even with the abuse of my 4 children going in and out for drinks. We love the LED interior lighting and heavy duty door rails on the drawers. We also love our Viking dishwasher. It is very quiet and has a spotless wash. Viking truly the heart of our kitchen. Thank you!

Im in the cabinet business, specifically for kitchen and bath cabinets. I have a showroom at a local appliance store and we did a working Viking kitchen. I convinced some of the contractors that I deal with and theyre using Viking appliances. Viking has quality-built products so the name speaks for itself. I live alone and I got a 36-inch Viking range. It was great making the purchase. I worked with not only the local dealer but also the Viking representative. Im still getting used to my range. I dont use it too much, but Ive tried all of its features and Im very happy with it. Its everything that I expected it to be. I tell my contractors that the quality, the price, and the name of the Viking products will help sell the properties that theyre building.

The door does not shut properly and the racks inside are not easily moved in and out of the oven. The racks just scrape the lips they sit on. For the oven to keep the consistent temperature the oven constantly audibly relights when baking. I wish I had bought a Thermador.

I purchased brand new Viking appliances for my entire kitchen. I got a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a microwave, and a 36-inch gas range. I happened to be at Best Buy and walked by their display. I knew Viking was very reputable. I had it quoted to see if it would fit my needs. However, purchasing the appliances there was a nightmare. It was probably the most painful thing Ive been through. Every single product delivered to me by Best Buy was a disaster. Its because once it leaves Viking, it actually goes into a contracted service that Best Buy uses, and its their distributorship that caused the problem. They had way too many hand offs, they had a product coming out of Mississippi and went into distribution centers, and they were supposed to make it to Minneapolis. This is also when the products will be damaged as well, like the dent in the microwave. My refrigerator was delivered completely dead on arrival. They installed it and told me it was gonna take 24 hours for it to cool. The next morning, its as hot as it was when they installed it. The fridge had to be completely replaced. Furthermore, it took almost 12 weeks for my range to be delivered. I was getting the runaround from Best Buy. I kept getting excuses on why they told me they couldnt find my range. I told them, How do you lose a 36-inch range? I dont understand. They said, Well, it didnt arrive. They were a no-show at the loading dock. I had used the range one day, it had a short in it and burned up the entire range. I know that these issues wasnt Vikings fault and I dont think they had any control over what was happening once it was purchased. I felt like the CEO of Viking needed to know about my experience because of the distribution. I did a Google search for the CEO of Viking, and I called and left a message for him on his voicemail. He called me within an hour. And the next day, I had resolution. I had appliances being delivered and everything being handled. They sent a Viking representative out of a smaller-type of distributor, and not a big box company. He was fantastic. Best Buy was putting all the blame squarely on Vikings shoulders because every time I would call them they told me that all the delays were because of Viking. It was ironic that once I did get a hold of Viking, the problem was handled within a day or two days. I would recommend Viking to a friend, although I would tell them never to buy through Best Buy.

Totally disappointed with their service. We are retired. My husband is Vietnam veteran suffering exposure to Agent Orange so the oven is an integral part of our meal preparations. We had a service technician evaluate the problem which was faulty oven door hinges. We asked Viking service could they give us any assistance in covering some of the cost of the hinges or possibly the installation cost. We were told, No. That it is not our policy and we were on our own. As good as this stove has been, I would never buy another Viking product again. I caution anyone considering purchasing their products.

In 2006 I purchased a 36 4 burner with griddle range, the under counter dishwasher, the large Viking fridge and outdoor pit - all Viking. I strongly recommend staying away from all Viking appliances. I have been dissatisfied with every single one of these appliances! They are very expensive and I am now on a first name basis with my repairman. When I attempted to contact Viking, their customer service was beyond inept. They never ever returned my phone calls and when I reported this to the BBB, I finally got a response. After a long discussion, I was supposed to get a return phone call. Well 3 months went by, then 6, then 12. I reported it to the BBB again. So lo and behold, I got a phone call. Nothing was done. There was excuse after excuse. Regardless of money, there are better alternatives to Viking. Talk to your local appliance repair company and they will tell you who to look at and who to avoid. I promise that they will not recommend Viking. Proceed with caution.

I spent almost $1000 on a Viking Microwave/Convection Oven - this was a terrible mistake. Service techs have been out 6 times repairing fuses etc. The control panel also broke which trips my circuit breakers. A new panel costs around $500. Ridiculous. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT buy a Viking microwave, especially the ones that go over your stove. They get funked up with so much grease and dont ventilate at all.

We got the Viking refrigerator through our builder that arranged everything and because of that getting the service and the registration was cumbersome. In those situations, it could be made easier. We purchased the appliances almost two years ago but our house wasn’t completed until just now so, that’s a little bit of a difficulty. Other than that, our Viking refrigerators quality is very good and we like its size.

My wife was looking at different brands and she was a fan. Thats why we started looking for Viking. The quality is impressive. We bought more than just the refrigerator. We bought a suite. However, the ice machine doesnt seem like its of a high quality. Its noisy and clunky. Everything else though seems to be quite good. It has a nice interior and has a lot of space in it.

We purchased a 30 inch Viking Gas Range about 5 years ago and were so impressed with it we bought their dishwasher 2 years later. What a mistake. The dishwasher was very quiet and we did not realize the pump was running continuously. The electric bill soared and we finally realized it was running. I called Viking to find local service and they tried to send me to a repair service about 100 miles from where I live. When we found the local authorized repair service they pulled it out and found a very small moisture sensor in the bottom tray under the dishwasher was to blame. The repairman could not get any information on when Viking could send the part. When I followed up directly with Viking parts, I was told they would get back to me, but never did. I was eventually told by Vikings authorized repairman to throw it out. $2,400 for a 3 year old dishwasher and it was useless. I replaced it with a Bosch.Now it is the gas range. The oven wont light, the burners wont light first time and the grill goes out. We replaced the electronic thermostat ($378) and it initially worked, but has now reverted to pumping gas into the house without ignition or resignation if we manage to get it going. Viking neither stands behind their products nor have a value even close to their costs. They could give these things away free and they would not be worth the risk to life.

I really like my Viking range. They’ve updated them over the years and tried to make them a little bit easier to clean since this is not self-cleaning type which is fine with me. Its very even cooking and heats up quickly. I like that its sturdy. The grates are really heavy and I know that theyre solid and not going to bend on me. The salesperson did a great job and was very helpful. I had a huge double oven that had a grill on it. It worked really well, and I really liked it. I only had it serviced once. It was having a little trouble igniting. The sparks would fly but it wouldnt ignite. Some guy came out and fixed it and it was fine ever since. So in our second home, I got another Viking. Its the oven and a half on the bottom. Its not quite as big as the other one but both places have been great. It has little lights on top of each control knob, which my older one didnt have. So at night when the whole kitchen is dark, it’s almost like a little night light which is cool. I also like that its not electronic. I get to turn the knob and tell it what to do. It doesnt ask me questions. I have the Viking range hood as well. Some people do Wolf, some people do Dacor but I like Viking. They have a good reputation and its restaurant quality for the home. Im really happy with them.

I spoke to Build.com and then they said that Viking is good and people are very happy with it. They didnt offer the other brand that I was looking for. But some people were saying after your guarantee expired, youre not gonna be able to use Viking and that they dont come out and fix the refrigerator. But I like the refrigerator. I wanted it to be a little bigger, but its still fine. I like it because if I leave the refrigerator open, it makes a noise if the door was not closed properly. I tried to register my equipment online because they were saying theres a rebate. I completed the rebate and sent it a couple of months ago but I have not received any rebate yet. Even so, the interaction with the customer service was good. I would recommend Viking Refrigerators to others. As matter of fact, Im in the process of building another home and Ill definitely buy a Viking again.

The quality of Viking is very good. The stovetop and the oven get hot really quickly. I wish it was a little bigger but that was a decision we made and I didnt realize that it would feel as small as it is. But, it doesnt have any fancy electronics and thats a bit hard to get used to at first. We also used to have a griddle but its okay. We have a better functioning stove or oven and its definitely an improvement from what we had last.However, Im having some trouble. When the Viking arrived, it took some time to get it installed because our kitchen was under renovation. It was more than a month. We got a range, and with it, we also got a dishwasher and that came dented. When we called, the reps were like, “Why didn’t you open it right away?” And were like, “We were told that it was going to be a very, very long wait because of COVID. And so we ordered it in April, knowing we were renovating in June.” The company that we bought it through was very nice, and they ended up working with us on it. So it turned out to not be a problem. But they came to replace the dented door of the dishwasher and they brought another dented door. So then we waited again. It took a long time to get it all settled. On the oven, the light shows that its preheating or that its on. Sometimes, we can hear the gas lighting. Also, there have been numerous times where I come back to look at my potatoes and the oven has been off the whole time and this happens a lot. But it’s not like it was smelling gas in the house. So we’re starting to be able to piece together that there’s something that’s not right. It has happened at least seven times where Ill start the oven, it will be hot, Ill put my food in, Ill go back, and then the whole meal is ruined because its not hot anymore. But its on 400.

We had Viking Refrigerators in our last house. So when we renovated, we wanted to have it again. The quality of the Viking refrigerator has been my favorite and it has been good. I got a French door refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom. We worked with the appliance place and I thought the interactions I had with the Viking team were great. Id recommend Viking.

Ive owned Viking Ranges before in Nashville, Tennessee. However, I was a little bit disappointed in the workmanship put into the equipment. When it was delivered, the guys that installed it did a great job straightening one of the panels. I ended up having to get the wall oven unit replaced or at least theyd put in a new board. The stripping around the door that holds the heat in was loose and had to be pushed back in place. I complained to the store about the quality of the product and they sent me a new unit. The new unit looked better and its working fine so far. I havent had any codes on it. All in all, they dealt with all my issues and responded timely. They sent people back out to try to correct the problem. In that regard, the service has been great.

Ive known about Viking Ranges for years. I wanted a six-range top, so we went out and look at them at ABT and they seemed to have the cleanest look. They had somebody who comes out especially for Viking who was very knowledgeable. When we first got it, it wouldnt go on properly so somebody came out and adjusted it. Then when I clean and put the pieces back together, one or two of the jets would flare. Also, when I put it down on low, I get this ticking sound which means that the gas is not coming through properly. It is also a little crowded, so I have to remove one rack to get anything big in. But other than that, I really like the quality.

I went to a retailer and Viking Range is among the floor models. Since the brand has the reputation of being top of the line, I purchased a range from them. The salespersons were also great. They were able to tell me what the product is about and why it is good. The range I got is excellent and the performance is great.

I purchased a whole set of Viking Ranges for my new home and Ive been really happy with the appliances. I got a range, a hood, a fridge, a dishwasher and a mixer. Their quality has been spectacular and the installation went great. However, recently I had some issues with my dishwasher. I called them about it but theyve done nothing to help. Ive spoken to three different representatives. The first one told me to go on and make sure all my products were registered and then call back the next day. When I called the next day, the lady said shell get it set up for me. She gave me a repair number and the name of the company to call. I called the service company and they said that Im outside of their service area and they wont do the work regardless of whether Ill pay for it or not. I called back Viking and the next lady worked to try to find somebody else who could fix it for me. She looked it up and said Im out of warranty and Im out of luck. I told her I knew that I was two months out of my warranty and that I shouldve reported the problem a little bit faster. But I told her I have no problem paying to have a service provider come out and fix it. I was also willing to pay for the parts and I was not looking for them to pay for any of it. I was just looking for assistance to find an authorized service provider that can do the work for me so the dishwasher can get back up and working.Im so frustrated about my Viking appliances that Ive really enjoyed and which have worked better than I anticipated. Its rough for me right now because I cant find anybody who is willing to work on them. And the company doesnt seem to care about whether or not I can fix the whole top of the dishwasher that doesnt work. Also, I have a matching set for the kitchen and replacing the whole thing seems ridiculous.

Gas Range model VGCC5366BSS installed Oct. 2013. Oven continually failed due to fried control module. The module was replaced over a dozen times, and during one period where we were waiting for parts, the company installed a temporary 30 range of the same model, and it failed within 2 months for the same reason. The repairman set up surge protectors, ran a new electrical circuit, had the utility monitor for electrical surges, and had us use a door wedge to hold the oven door tightly closed (the last theory was that heat was escaping from the oven and burning the circuit board). I just found out today (not from Viking!), that there is a huge recall on Viking and Brigade freestanding gas ranges (US & Canada), including my model. Go to Consumer Product Safety Commission (US), or Healthycanadians.gc.ca.

Viking had a sale going on. The refrigerator I was looking at was discounted and with the rebate I was getting, that put it in a price range that was comparable to Sub-Zero. Plus, the store was saying that they have had good success with the refrigerator and that people liked it. I decided to take a chance on their technology. So far, food doesnt go bad in it and I love it. The refrigerator has technology that pulls out the gas that makes food go bad. Before, I would wind up throwing so much food out because it goes bad by the time I get around to cooking. Now, I make less stops at the grocery store. Additionally, water that that comes from my Viking tastes really good. Its much better than the GE Monogram that I used to have. However, the ice maker has a little wire bar that comes down when the ice tray fills up. Its supposed to set off but then it goes a little overboard such that I find ice outside the ice tray. Still, this was the only thing that was wrong. This is the second Viking that I have had and I have been very pleased with the service. With the first one I had, there was moisture building up on the inside. Everything was getting wet inside that refrigerator and almost every day I had to wipe it down. I complained and Viking sent servicemen out a couple of times. They couldnt figure out why the door wasnt sealing properly. They told me that they couldnt figure out the issue and that they would just get me a new refrigerator. I didnt have to pressure them so much and they gave me a new unit that works. So far, it works fine and its beautiful. I like the way its saving me money through not wasting food. Ive already recommended Viking to other people. I let people who have stayed at my place see it and I tell them about the refrigerators technology. They have been saying its a beautiful refrigerator.

We bought an entire kitchen of Viking appliances in September 2019. This included a dishwasher, gas range, and double ovens. The double ovens broke less than 3 months after installation. The lower oven would not turn off and the series of buttons on the control panel fell inside the housing. After 2 weeks of calling, they sent a repair service to diagnose the problem. The circuit board was melted from heat. They came back a few days later and said it was a bad design and would fail again. 1 day later it failed again. Now we have been without ovens thru the Christmas holidays and the entire month of January. This equipment is junk and we wasted $20,000.

We got a Viking Range when we purchased our home and it was recommended by the builder. Its been good quality so far and it cooks quicker and more even than the previous range we had. Im very happy with it and Id recommend Viking Ranges.

We got a Viking Range through an appliance package which involved us getting a range and getting a Viking microwave for free. Currently, were having a little difficulty with the oven holding temperature. The range top is great but were seeing swings of upwards 20 to 50 degrees from what the thermostat is set at. Still, we love our range top and the gas controls.

We were renewing our kitchen and we wanted something to upgrade our stove. My wife pretty much knew what she wanted. She looked at it online and she talked to our contractor. Then we purchased a Viking and during the installation, there were many glitches. The gas pipe was making the stove come out a little bit. But we called our gas company and they changed the fitting then it made everything fit fine. So far, the product has been great and my wife loves it.

I spent $9,900 for a top of the line refrigerator. Less than 3 years later, both refrigerator and freezer do not cool past 57 degrees. It took 5 days to get Viking to tell me they wont cover it. They sent me 5 repair companies - two dont cover my area. One has kept me on hold for 57 minutes. All my food is wasted. This is on top of the fact that two motors had to be replaced in year one; the door had to be repaired in 18 months and all three plastic drawers cracked almost immediately. Do NOT waste your money. This is a TERRIBLE PRODUCT.

My wife and I perceived the Viking refrigerator as high quality just by certification. We like the look of it as well as the configuration with the door freezer and double open top. We also wanted to get a matching set for we did a remodeling in our kitchen. So far, we really like it but theres one thing that kind of drives me crazy, and its in the minor side. On the freezer, when you open that the big drawer down below, it has an ice maker, and you pull it out. The way the ice is dumped it into the tray and it builds up, about every fourth time, it pushes the ice behind and comes on the floor. But if I open it slowly, reach back, and try to move the ice, it doesnt happen. But sometimes, I forget.The other thing that weve experienced, and I dont know that its the refrigerators fault, is that if our power goes out or trips, then the power comes back on again, the refrigerator doesnt automatically come back on. That could be bad and we initially had a problem when we first got the refrigerator. Aside from that, sometimes we spend a couple of weeks away from the house. Were trying to figure out if theres a way I could get a beeper on my panel or something that would tell me that the fridge is off. But I want it to just automatically cycle back on when the power comes back on.Also, I wish they can come up with something a little better and easier to remove than that plastic coating that they put on it to protect it during transportation. Its really a great idea to have that protective plastic but it is a royal pain to remove it for installations. Other than that, I feel like we got good value on the Viking refrigerator, so Im pretty happy.

Viking is a pretty well-known brand as compared to some other available in the market. I was looking around and I felt that Viking is a good choice. The fridges design, the outside appearance and inside, everything looks good. It fit my purpose. Its not too big and not too small. If I want to save something inside, I can fit a space there well. I also like my freezer in the bottom. Im moving to a new home in North Carolina so I purchased a new one there, and compared to my old one, that ones design has more flexibility. Its good, interior-wise. The one I have here was done by another company and their design is a bit crowded.

The Viking refrigerator is less than a year old, but its had more than a few issues. The refrigerator froze itself up and needed a week to thaw out. Then its been up and running for a week. Now, the icemaker isnt working. So, for the second time in two weeks, I needed to have a repair guy come out here to repair an $11,000 refrigerator. The Viking team has been great though. But I wouldnt buy their refrigerator again.

Purchased this 36 gas range in 2006 for over $6k. A week before Christmas, it broke down. Several parts were replaced by a reputable, local repair firm, but the key one is PJ030015, the 6 prong selector switch was not available. Called Viking and was told it has been discontinued since 2016. The customer service person kept telling me that sales had specials going on so I should contact them. Asked her if she would replace a $6k range because a $100 part wasnt available. This is totally unacceptable. The company should have an solution for this other than check eBay and Craigslist. For Petes sake, go to China and get some built. So, buyer beware. A good company would not do this for a product that is not that old nor inexpensive.

Ive known Viking Refrigerators for so long. I like the look and the style of the refrigerators. They also have a better quality than the rest of their competitors. The refrigerator that I have bought is average and Ive spent $9,000 on it. However, I’ve already had a service call out here because the thing wasn’t working properly. Based on the fact that they had charged much more, their product and service should have been stellar. Even so, somebody quickly got out here and that guy was great. I also Iike the construction of the solid door. And also, I like the fact that the inside thing is made of metal. Purchasing from Viking was a good experience up until the point where they were to deliver the item, but then it all went to crap. When they delivered the item, they gave me a delivery date, but they didn’t meet that. And then they gave me another delivery date and didn’t meet that as well. So it was just a big fiasco. It took three days to finally have the item installed. Since that was a Monday, they didn’t even have it installed and so I installed it myself. Also initially, Viking was responsive. I had bought three different products. I bought a Viking Refrigerator, the beverage center, and the ice machine. And two of them were delivered on one day. The beverage center was deemed late by Viking. They said they didn’t have it yet. So, once again, the second time they came in, they’re supposed to deliver it but they didn’t show up. They called me and told me that it wasn’t gonna be delivered for another couple days. And then again, it was supposed to be delivered between 12:00 and 5:00, and they showed up at 9:00 at night. The second time they delivered, the service level just sucked. These dealers are representing Viking. I know its difficult because they’re not just selling Viking, they’re also selling other products. But at the end of the day, it puts a bad taste on my mouth that Viking works with these people. If Viking wants to say that they are a service-oriented company and believes in their customers, then they ought to pay attention to who’s actually selling this product and who’s delivering the product in the homes because it only takes one experience to turn somebody off. So I don’t know if I’d ever buy another Viking again. I would also tell others that if they ever want to go buy the product, that would be fine but I would also tell them to make sure they do their research.

Viking has always had a good reputation and it competes with Wolf and Sub-Zero. The refrigerator that we got is cool and the range works well but weve been disappointed with the dishwasher. It doesnt dry well and weve told the dealer about it. A friend of ours got the same dishwasher we did and theyre equally displeased with it. Were both used to a competitor brand called Miele and their products are much better and put Viking to shame. Other than that, our dealer from Key West, Florida has certified appliance repair and theyre excellent. Theyre very professional and they like the Viking brand. We also got undercounter wine coolers from Viking and theyre a good product too and theyre very nice.

I chose the Viking range for its quality and looks. The team at the Viking dealer was very helpful. I had issues with registration, and they sorted it out right away. The overall quality of the range is good, and my favorite thing about it is how they look. I would recommend Viking.

My Viking refrigerator is good. The only thing is its such a humungous refrigerator but its so tiny inside. Its only like 19 cubic feet, and I just disregarded that whenever I was picking it out. Ive worked with AJ Madisons, which is who I ordered the refrigerator through, and that was a terrible experience. My product came so late. It was promised to me like months before I got it. When I ordered it, I had AJ Madison call the manufacturer and find out when to expect it by. I was promised that it would only take three months, and it took six months to get it once I paid for it.

I bought my Viking refrigerator from AJ Madison and they were very nice and very helpful. They answered a lot of questions I had and I was extremely happy with them. I liked Vikings looks and professional-grade. The quality is okay, but there was an issue. There was a dent in one of the refrigerator doors. Im trying to get that thing sorted out but its still not been resolved. Ive been emailing service at Viking and its been almost three weeks but its still not been taken care of. After spending $12,000 on a refrigerator, I would expect a little more response.

We had purchased a Viking range and dishwasher about four years ago. We had a commercial refrigerator but didn’t know that Viking had refrigeration at that time. We got rid of the commercial one and I looked up Viking and found this refrigerator. I love the lighting in the refrigerator. Ive also never had a freezer on the bottom. I don’t get into the freezer nearly as much as the refrigerator so I love that feature because I dont have to bend down to get into a crisper. The space in it is amazing. Ive had the side-by-side where the freezer is on one side and the refrigerator is on the other and theyre just wasted space. This French door is very easy to clean, too. I take a soft-butt towel and use a microfiber towel to dry it and Ive got the surface cleaned in two minutes. We had been with Sears for years for our appliances. Weve been in our house for 24 years so this is our second round of appliances now. We had 10 more brands and I wanted something on a higher end. It took me six months to pick something up because I read reviews and Viking had great ones. We decided to switch to Viking for our kitchen appliances just from appearance and reviews. The downside was there wasn’t a store near us where we could go in and put our hands on the product so we ordered through a store that was an hour drive from us. But, their customer service is great. The first dealer that we contacted was closer to us but they werent as willing to help us over the phone as far as measurements because we were going from an electric to a gas range. We ended up in the Silt. Their staff did all the measurements and how the gas line had to be in. He went above and beyond over the phone and worked with my husband on it. Then, they delivered, set up and tested everything. It was a good experience.

Everything in the kitchen is Viking. Ive seen Viking at my other friends house and Ive heard good things about it. And when we went through the website, they gave us several different options and Viking came on top. What I found it interesting is we had different experiences with different pieces. The dishwasher does not dry dishes very well. I dont know whether Im not very familiar with it or if that I have to read the instructions. Also, from a volume point of view, it feels much smaller than an LG or other ones. It looks the same size as everybody elses, but its just bulkier.The range that was put in did not connect the gaps right and it was leaking. I had to bring a plumber back in in order to figure out why it smelled gas in the kitchen. on the other hand, the microwave installation went okay but the techs had a really hard time with installing the double oven. It is too heavy and the installers didnt have the proper equipment and proper training to do it right.We bought the fridge about a month ago. The first time they got the wrong refrigerator, then the right refrigerator, and they had to change it to a new one. They sent the wrong size again, and then they had to come back a week later with the right size. So, from a responding to a customer, Viking has been good. However, we had a problem with the unit. We lost all of the Freon. I was happy about the fact that they were gonna send somebody to repair it. But Viking sent a new one and replaced the refrigerator. From that service point of view, it was very good. The installation is part of what was wrong with it. The first company that installed the fridge, within about two weeks we lost the Freon in it. The next guy that came in told us that it was the way they installed it that probably caused the damage, but it was replaced. When the next guy came in, they hemmed and hawed a bit when they were putting it in but eventually, everything went in okay.

Ive owned Viking Range products before in my previous home and the quality of the product is very good. Their ovens are also awesome.

We were remodeling our home and wanted to get some built-in appliances. We compared Viking to Thermador and some of the other top brands and decided to go with Viking because of their great promotion. The refrigerator looks deceivingly small. So, when you open it, you feel like, Im not going to fit as much stuff in there. But you do fit a lot in there. So, Im pretty pleased with it. The freezer portion makes a couple of noises. It sort of snaps and crackles and makes some little noises there that probably could be improved. But otherwise no, its great. We actually are on our second refrigerator. The first one that arrived was defective. We got a hold of Viking through the company that sold it to us. Viking was great. They sent out a new refrigerator. They came picked up the old one, and there was no problem. It took a little while, but there were some other complications probably that were at play at that time. Other than the delay, it was a smooth process.

I like my new refrigerator and the way it keeps everything cold in each area. There are no warm spots and it fits the space that we have perfectly. I wasnt gonna get a refrigerator with a rollout drawer on the bottom but it seemed to be made well so I opted to go with that instead of the side-by-side. People should do some research into what features each one has and then pick the one that fits overall what their needs are because one of the other reasons we didnt go with the side-by-side is because Viking makes them too tall. We couldnt have something that tall in our space. We only have 70 inches and a lot of those side-by-sides are 72-plus, and thats not gonna fit in the space. Wed have to take the cabinets out at the top and I dont wanna do that because I use those cabinets. So, it would be nice if Viking would make them a little smaller in a side-by-side too. I know two other people who are struggling with the same thing. They have this standard spot that contractors made in their house for the refrigerator, and theyre only about 70 inches tall. When you read the specs, a lot of those refrigerators want you to give them a 2-inch clearance at the top for air and we dont have that. Ours is smack way up to the top but we have air on each side. We havent had the refrigerator that long but Im anticipating that its gonna be a real worker.

I first heard about Viking Refrigerators at Hahn. Theyre gorgeous, high-quality refrigerators and I like the way theyre made. I like the steel in the doors. I love the my fridge when its working. It has been over a month now and mine hasnt been fixed. We had Viking replace the ice tray. They had to send the whole tray when it was just the round thing in the back. Its made of plastic and if the ice gets jammed, its knocked off. It should have been made of metal. Also, the board went out and it has been on backorder for a month.

We were looking for new appliances and we went to look at Viking ranges. They had a deal where you buy a range and you get a free dishwasher tossed in so, we went for that. We like the range a lot. It is of high quality, better quality than the other ranges that we looked at. Plus, the Viking dealers people were very, very helpful and they did everything on time. Now, my wife uses the range and she likes that she can control the flames so carefully from high to low. Its very controllable. Im glad that we bought the Viking equipment. We plan to stay here in the house for many, many years and we hope that all these appliances last as long as we do.

I went online and read about Viking’s history and that their products are made in the USA. I felt really comfortable buying something that was built here so I went with them. I like the refrigerator that I bought. It looks amazing and its very easy to change the shelves and reconfigure in different ways. Everything that I read about it is true.

Viking was supposed to be a quality brand. Ive had the range for a year now and its not properly working. Ive had to have repairman after repairman in and out of my home and the problem is still not resolved 100% so its a bit of an issue. After nine months of not working properly, they decided to replace the whole range. And now, the parts that I had purchased that are supposed to fit the same year dont fit because a piece of it is warped. We finally got the other oven working because I didnt have both sides working for a whole year. And now that we finally got it working, the griddle that they replaced it with is warped. They had someone come out and look at it and it needed to be replaced. But Vikings saying that he didnt say that it was warped when I was standing right there and he did say it. They said that theyre not replacing it basically. So now, I have a warped griddle that I cant cover.I thought I was buying a luxury piece of equipment for my home and now its just been one thing after another and no ones been helpful. I havent heard from them for probably two to three weeks on what theyre going to do about the warped griddle so I just have another defective piece of whatever. It would be nice if I could go back and if they would refund me and I would purchase a completely different brand so that I could get some customer service.

We had dinner with my sister and brother-in-law who have a Viking range. I got to cook on the range and I liked it. We saw an ad for the closeout on the stove at a local appliance dealer. We got the last Viking appliance that they had there. The range was sold to me at $1000 on the list. It’s a great cooking appliance and I love the heat control on it.

When we had a home built, the builder was using a specific vendor and they had a Viking package deal that appealed to me. The refrigerator has been good so far. It works great and I like the space at the bottom thats below a couple of doors which allows you to store longer and bigger things.

My Viking range cooks great and very fast, too. Its a beautiful appliance however, I don’t believe theres a timer on this thing to time anything. I don’t like the fact that when I turn on the oven, theres a blue light that comes on but theres no signal that says when its gotten to the proper heat where the blue light goes out. And I have to be basically sitting on top of it to know the proper heat. Ive had other ovens that will beep when they’ve hit the right temperature. The other thing I don’t like is the ergonomics of it because I have to bend over to read the dials to see where theyre at because my particular range has a little bit of an overhang to it and the dials are underneath it. That’s a very minor thing but an important one to me.

When I bought the house, a Viking range was already here. I had to have a repair done on it and they quickly put me in touch with the service repair person in my area. They seem very professional. The repair person then came out and replaced the door because it’s not shutting correctly. He then told me to use the self-clean feature because that would warp the door and burn off the electricals. The quality of this range is good overall, and the big gas burner in the middle is my favorite.

Purchased a complete kitchen full of Viking professional series products in 2008. In 2011 the microwave quit working. In 2011 the stove top igniters are always trying to light a lit stove. 2011, dishwasher spray arm fell off (plastic broke). Ongoing is my fridge freezer side by side. Too warm on top but frozen veggies in the crisper. The oven always seems to take a little longer to get to temp then in 2014 would never get to temp. Have called the Authorized Viking distributor and have always been transferred around. I have been pushed to an authorized repair company and been fleeced for labor and materials. Dealer came out for dishwasher and after talking on the phone for an hour told me it would be over $500 to fix. I paid him for the service call and found the part online, and put it in myself. Took the microwave out and just bought a GE. No one wanted to work on the micro. Pulled the oven out of the wall, called the technician and he came out to troubleshoot. Told me the lower element was out. He quoted me over $550 to fix when the part came in within the next few weeks. I paid him the 140 for the trip charge and service call and found the element online for 111. I put it in myself. An absolute hassle and this is unacceptable for appliances that are supposed to be top of the line. Never, I mean never... NEVER will I ever buy another Viking product. Pure 100% crap. I have a mother in law apartment that does not have a single Viking product. Never have issues. I have Kohler throughout the main house. Hardly ever an issue. If there is one, I talk to KOHLER and they send me what it takes to fix. I cannot wait to remodel my kitchen!!!

Bought a complete set of Viking products including an oven, dishwasher, ice maker and refrigerator. The refrigerator was damage when shipped and needs two handles and outside skins. Well after one year there have been no parts available and no response as to when the situation will resolve. Now the refrigerator has internal issues. I am beyond disappointed in my choice and would like to find a solution to my $8000 mistake and lack of any customer service. Stay away from Viking. They lack any customer service or care.

I purchased close to $30,000 of Viking appliances. I bought two under cabinet refrigerators, wine coolers, a cooktop, a built-in microwave, and built-in oven, but never had a problem with them. The main problem was the refrigerator as it constantly broke down. We were very dissatisfied with it. We had to contact their technician three times to come out and fix the problem. But their repair guys were always good. They came with the knowledge of what the problem is and they fixed it. We also had a very bad experience with their dealer Pacific Sales at Best Buy in San Jose. They kept blowing me off even if I purchased extended warranty. They told me I have to contact Viking directly. Why did they sell me the extended warranty if they will not cover the problem?

Ive had Viking appliances before and I like the overall quality of their products. The refrigerator that I got from them is also nice and well-built. Id recommend them.

I was doing my research looking for a good stove and going from store to store, and I decided on picking Viking. They had a good price-point, however, I just had the range for six months and I got a part replaced. I called Viking and the staff was okay and they handled everything in an expeditious manner. Im just a little frustrated because the range is brand new.

We bought our range, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator from Viking. Im not too happy with the refrigerator as weve had an issue from the very beginning when wherein we would get constant beeping. It gives an FR2 error code and beeps and beeps. We close and open it but its constant. Plus, the refrigerator is deceiving as its really big but kinda small on the inside. So, it doesnt fit a lot of things. It doesnt give me water either. We also had an issue with our range. Still, Viking fixed that quickly. The purchase process for my refrigerator was fine and the delivery went okay. Its a nice looking refrigerator.

Due to their pricing, I purchased a refrigerator from Viking. It works well. Its nice, convenient, and does the job. We had a little issue with it, but its being fixed under warranty so everythings fine. Vikings service is perfect.

Viking is a good brand. Its made in the USA and we like the look and size of their refrigerators. Ours is working great so far. The temperature control is nice and the doors open and close easily. Its like a French door refrigerator, but they dont hit each other. My sister has a Sub-Zero but its doors would hit each other if they didnt close them the right way. As with ours, the doors seem to be pretty seamless, which is good. However, the freezer in our fridge is like a pull out drawer and if I pull the freezer from one side, it gets off the track a little bit. Sometimes I have to straighten it out and push it back in, which is a little weird. Also, it would be cool if there was a water dispenser inside the fridge, though Im sure Viking has that on some of their high-end refrigerators. As for the Viking dealer, their team was on-time and they answered all my questions. They were absolutely friendly and respectful as well. It was an easy experience overall.

Ive been very pleased with the quality of my Viking refrigerator. So far, it has worked nicely. It has a little signal if I havent closed the door or the freezer door properly, and that helps because Ive done that once or twice and its nice to get that warning. The refrigerator is stainless steel and I like that finish. I had the kitchen redone so I also got the Viking range, the Viking dishwasher and the Viking hood over the stove. So, Ive been very happy with the products. People who have seen the kitchen says they like it a lot.

Please dont waste money on any Viking products! I have had two dishwashers in the past 10 years that fall apart and no longer work. I also have Viking fridge. The drawers broke, builds ice in the bottom of the freezer every few weeks that you have to hammer away to get the door to shut, and have replaced the ice maker twice which no longer works again! I buy bagged ice to fill my ice maker. Viking products stink.

We liked the look of Viking and their reputation as well so we went with them. Were not so thrilled with the double wall oven but the refrigerator is awesome. The quality is excellent and this is probably the best refrigerator weve ever owned. Its so easy to navigate in there. You can see and reach everything. But the ice maker could be improved. The bin that the ice goes into should be raised in the back so that the ice falls to the front. Im always winding up with ice all over the floor and on the inside of the freezer because it builds up then theres no way to open the freezer without the ice falling over like a deck of cards. Other than that, weve had a fairly good experience so far.

We purchased a Viking D3-RDDFF23655, 12/10/12, all was fine until Nov. of 2015, when there was water leaking onto the bottom of the freezer, a water device was changed and cost us $333.36 (just out of the 3 year warranty). July of 2017, 5 years after purchase. Ice maker was not working, filtered water was not working correctly. Another repair bill of $840.26 to fix problem. We paid $2,800.00 and in just 5 years have had to pay another $1,173.62. Averaging over $270 a year. Based on reviews before we purchased this refrigerator, we had never expected such needed replacements and problems.

We had to replace our former slide-in in a rush because we were expecting holiday cooking soon. We purchased a Viking D3 after glowing reviews by our saleswoman. But the D3 has never worked right including a month after we purchased it. We had to cook the holiday turkey in the microwave, one part of the bird at a time. After contacting Viking, they sent out a certified repairman who had to order a part from Viking to make the oven usable. That took two weeks. From then on, the temps seemed to be accurate (we had to buy a hanging oven thermometer to tell), but the oven took forever to heat up. Even then, we couldnt cook anything then or now other than one item at a time and have it cook in the desired time. There are three racks in the oven... the instructions even show and explain how to cook using the three racks at once. However, the oven temps will not support using all three racks. We are also dissatisfied with the five upper burners. The center burner can only be used if the cooking pot/skillet is smaller than the large burner size indicates IF you are trying to use the other four surrounding burners simultaneously. You either use the four outside burners OR you use the large center one, but not all five at once due to size of the cooking containers. I am so disappointed. I wish I had purchased a low-end quality stove. This one sure isnt it. DO NOT BUY A VIKING APPLIANCE!!!!!

My Viking refrigerator meets expectations. Ive had a Sub-Zero before and it seems to be in line with my experience with Sub-Zero. I really like the pizza box feature. You could fit a whole pizza box on the shelf, which is pretty cool. I have one of those refrigerators on top and freezer on the bottom but it was fairly wide. Theres also some sort of ion sculpture. Im happy with my refrigerator. I also have the microwave, the hood, the range, and two ovens, and a dishwasher all from Viking. Ive been very happy with them. Its a well-made quality manufacturer of appliances and I would recommend Viking.

When we redid the kitchen, we did research online and decided to purchase from Viking. We bought a refrigerator as part of a package and all the Viking products just kinda fit our needs. Our experience with them has been very good.

My choices are limited when I go to 36-inches as far as the manufacturers. Viking was one of them. And at the time, they gave an incentive. When I bought the range, I got a free Viking dishwasher. The quality is good. When the range was delivered, there were some scratches on it. The store that I purchased it from had somebody come out and take care of it. I used the broiler six months after I bought the range and it didnt work. So, the appliance store sent out whoever they use for repairs and service and they were able to fix the problem.The one question I have is why when you go to a 36-inch range, Viking doesnt offer a self-cleaning oven. Also, the 36-inch range is more of a commercial range. Because we pay a good amount for these ranges, Viking should give a tutorial after they install it. How to use it, what to look for, how to clean it. That would be helpful.

The door to a newly purchased oven never closed. Viking Customer Service was unresponsive, told lies and did nothing to solve the problem through the warranty period after a year of constant complaining. After the year, they wanted to charge more money to come to my house to look at the problem! On the Viking Facebook site, many people have this complaint and Viking refuses to address the customer complaints, as well as knobs that burn you if you touch them while baking!

I knew what I wanted when I went to the store and I told the staff I was looking for a particular Viking range. The only thing was that they had to distinguish between a dual fuel and a non-dual fuel range. The Viking range is a great product and I like its gas top feature.

We’ve had Viking equipment in previous homes then we bought from them again and got a Viking refrigerator. Its good quality and it works. It’s doing very well and also looks good in the kitchen. The Viking dealer we got it from was very cordial and very easy to deal with. I would tell others to take a good look at Viking Refrigerators.

Viking has top quality and I love it. Also, it’s simple to use. I had a LG previously and it had all the million different settings and bells and whistles, but I never used any. I also had a LG refrigerator that was a lemon and it stopped working after about a year and a half, and the dealer was really difficult to work with. But every call that I made to Viking so far has been answered right away and they’ve been very helpful. I called them once to get the correct model numbers for the product registration and then I also did two follow-up calls to the parts department because my 1-year old slammed into the freezer and dented it. So, I had to order the freezer door. And it was really easy to do. I would highly recommend them.

I guess I am not the only one with this problem as I read the comments!! Has anyone found a solution? I have had a repair man out here 3x and it keeps happening. The coils freeze, the floor of the freezer has a 1/2 inch frozen solid water and water leaks out onto my hardwood floors. If this is obviously a problem why are they not fixing them??????? I had a Subzero in my other home for 20 years and this never happened!!! So during this beautiful Sunday Im inside scraping ice and cleaning up water. Someone has to be accountable.

I absolutely love the Viking range. Besides the look, I love the cooktop in it. I ordered extra racks and got all the rollout racks, which I love for baking multiple sheets of cookies at one time. I also love all the different ranges that you can put your oven on with the convection, which can be the low, the medium, or the high. It gives you so many options. All the burners come off so nicely and I havent had problems cleaning it. People should get Viking if they were thinking about it.

We were looking for the type of professional oven and knew Viking had a good name. We looked at the other ones, too but chose the Viking. The quality is a little bit shifty and could be better for the price. I’ve already had it serviced back in November because the oven wasn’t starting for me right away. However, the repairman came just two weeks ago, that’s how long it took me to get service. We live in a very small rural community and it was very frustrating calling Viking. Also, the oven is a little small for me at times. Other than that, it’s fine and I really like it.
