The purchase and delivery of our Viking took a lot longer than we thought. But once it was installed, we were very happy with it. Theres plenty of compartment size. Its our secondary refrigerator/freezer and when we have guests and parties, it comes in very handy. One of the features I like is that it has a really good ice maker. Also, both the refrigerator and the freezer are very quiet.

We purchased a 30 Viking range. It is all gas. We have experienced extremely hot wall tile directly above grate that lines the back edge of range when gas oven is on. Water droplets run down the tile for first few minutes of preheating. I am worried to use the oven since tiles at back get very hot. I rarely use oven and we spent so much money to purchase Viking. Also there was a recall on a oven part and we had Viking service is already 3 times. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Viking had the best package for me when I looked at all the other options. The team at the dealership was great. I like my range but I already have had to have somebody come out to do a repair on it. Another tech would come out on Friday next week to do a repair on one of the ranges knobs. Needing those repairs have been unfortunate, but other than that, everything has been fine. They were covered under the warranty and it was very simple to get a hold of somebody to set everything up.

We purchased a Viking Range before and we decided to buy another one this time due to its self-cleaning feature. It also has a middle burner and I love the quality of the range.

One year into our viking kitchen we have been completely satisfied with the gas range top, French door oven, warming drawer and microwave. Everything has worked first rate. We would recommend to anyone looking for a high end appliance.

Bottom freezer floor has 1/2 of frozen ice. Bottom of refrigerator leaks all over wooden floor which is now ruined. Had nothing but problems with this refrigerator from day one. Dont buy a Viking product ever! Dont know what to do at this point. Any suggestions? Can it be fixed? Is it worth trying to fix if possible? Need someones help!

I heard about Viking through some friends of mine that are builders. The Viking rep here is a friend of one of my friends and he talked me into going with Viking, although I wasn’t going to go with them because I had heard in the past that they were having long term issues with the oven. But he convinced me that Viking had corrected the flaws that their products had. The dealer was good and he had just the right amount of information and push.The cooktop that we got from Viking has been amazing and I like the burners on top. The fridge has been awesome and the dishwasher seems to be good so far. But the oven hasn’t been working and we haven’t been able to use it for a week or so. It worked fine before and then the appliance repair guy came out and made an adjustment, and the oven went from working to non-working. They had to order a new regulator, but the part doesn’t work at all. So, he had to order some new parts last week.

Viking stove should be recalled. Since the first use, we have been having the same problems all of the other people have been having with the stove. It should be recalled because it is a danger to use. Our oven gets so hot that it has melted the stove wires and control box. It has warped our oven door so it doesnt shut all the way, and the heat reflector (not sure if this is correct name) in the bottom of the oven is cracked and buckled. The oven gets so hot that if you touch the outside of it, you will get burned. The oven also fills up with gas and makes a popping sound or just blows the door right open! It scares me with my children if the oven is on. They can get burnt or hurt with the door blowing open. Also, because of the intense heat and the wires melting, the left side of the stove doesnt work.

I had a Viking range when I lived in Southern California for 20 years and couldnt kill the thing. Initially, I purchased it for status. It looked so great in my house. With a culinary background, I quickly found out that this range was amazing. It performed. I moved and could not take it with me. We finally built our forever home and one of the requirements was that I bring that Viking back. I have a whole Viking kitchen. The window in the range in the oven part of it is not the same as it used to be. This seems like it needs some kind of gasket around it. I sometimes see steam between the glass. I was told thats normal but it wasnt like that on my other range. But all in all, it works really well. I love it. I had a GE in another home and it was like junk. You couldnt clean it. It’d scratch. I took the air filters out and washed them. They fell apart the first time. You dont get that with Viking. It is a lot more money but you get what you pay for. I tell people if youre going to invest in appliances for your house, this is the way to go. Its everything you need and Viking stands behind their product.

We were limited with space and size and since Vikings one of the ones that fit in it, we decided to choose this brand. We know that its so good. In fact, weve had Viking in other houses and my mother-in-law also has it in their house in Montana. The quality has been excellent. However, were having some problems with the ice maker either because of the way it was hooked up or were not used to it. Also, I like the look of it. So even though we had to go with one of the smaller ones, its a gorgeous refrigerator and its doing its job.

Just purchased a Viking refrigerator on Dec 15th 2018 and already have had to call for service. The very loud popping sound is annoying. The repairman couldnt do anything about it because it didnt make the noise while he was here (needs to know exactly where is coming from before he can make a diagnosis). I will continue to call until the problem is fix. After reading some of the reviews it looks like other problem. Does anyone know if theres a lemon law on refrigerators?

We were pleased with the Viking oven and microwave in our other house so we wanted a stove with a black face on it when we build our new house. We’ve only been using it for about a month and a half but we have no issues, we are delighted and it worked out well. Being able to cook with gas is nice. You can control the heat and with the grill on the top with six burners, you can cook a lot. One burner also has a higher BTU on it which is nice. We bought it from Ferguson in the town we lived in. The Viking dealer has a good reputation and known for its bath and kitchen showroom. We didnt hesitate to go to them when we wanted to pick out the appliances. It was a good experience, delivery was on time and they did exactly what they said they were going to do. Registering on the website was easy. We looked at the serial and model number which I got off the stove and the instruction booklet.

Everybody says that Viking Ranges are the best ones. I bought my range from ACT Appliances and we love it. Their team was very pleasant and knew what they were talking about.

We have Viking in other parts of the house and we like the size, warranty, and price of their refrigerator. So we went online, got paperwork on it and had a very good experience with them. Their reps have been able to help me over the phone and they have great service. We like the refrigerator and its quality is great so far.

I have a large family, I cook a lot and I needed something strong and durable. I got the Viking stove and its very powerful. However, I have a problem inserting the racks. I make a cake, slide the racks out and the racks stick and go off the track. They dont slide in and out comfortably. And then, I have a vent above the stove and I have glass in the back of the stove instead of stainless steel. My husband pushed the stove too close to the glass so the first time I used the oven, the glass exploded. Also, its very busy to keep the top clean because it doesn’t have sealed burners. It has grates that I have to take in and out and steel wool in between every little crevice there on the top. I have adult sons that are slobs when it comes to cleaning so it’s an extra effort for me to keep this range clean on the top. I would have looked at something different and paid $1,000 extra and gotten a sealed burner. But I got what I got and I use S.O.S Steel Wool to keep the top clean every day. Otherwise, the stove is terrific and I like it.

We were remodeling our kitchen and we wanted to upgrade all of our appliances so we did get Viking for everything. However, the refrigeration portion was faulty so we called our warranty and they did replace it. Its now working fine but thats not expected when you spend that much money on a refrigerator. It was a bit disappointing. For a week, we had to figure out how we were going to store food. We ended up having two technicians come out because they didnt communicate. It was a bit of a mess but its over and Im glad.

We have a Viking stove, and we wanted to match the other appliance that we have, so we purchased a Viking refrigerator afterwards through P. C. Richard. I love our Viking refrigerator. I like the aesthetics and the looks of it at the outside, and inside its just as beautiful. I like the Viking style. But we havent had our Viking fridge for very long when the door opened and got a dent because it hit the cabinet. We had a refrigerator for 15 years and it never had a ding in it. But now Im so disappointed that we have this beautiful fridge thats not even a month old and it already has a ding it.

The Viking refrigerator has a lot of space so I’m happy about that. But weve only had it a few months and weve had two calls out. The quality doesnt seem to be there. The top of motor went out where it wasnt cooling and they had to replace a lot of parts. Then recently, the lower freezer section started frosting up and they fixed it. It was under warranty.

The construction manager who helped us through the renovation recommended Viking and I was familiar with the company itself. As a profession, I have dealt with them professionally for hotels and restaurants. I knew the brand and the quality has been very good. However, I have issues with the dishwasher because it takes two hours to do what a normal one does. Also, the keyboard is not customer-friendly. There are a lot of buttons to push and usually, it takes a while for it to get to the program it needs to be washed. On the other hand, I love the refrigerator, oven and microwave. I wish the ice maker is larger but everything I have is good and I just have to master using the dish machine. The Viking dealer did a great job. They walked me through, helped me to get a credit line and delivered when they said they were gonna do it, so I was very pleased with them I appreciate everything Viking has done and I will recommend them to friends.

The house that we bought had the appliances in it and it included a Viking range. I’ve known about Viking Ranges for a long time but this is the first time I’ve owned any of their products. So far, the quality is great and I really like the look of it. But I’ve never owned a gas oven before, so Im still learning about it. It’s also a little noisier than a typical electric oven, but Im getting used to it. I also get that this is a professional range series so you’re not gonna have a timer like in an electric oven, but that is kind of nice to have.

We went into a store and found the Viking range to my liking. It has eight burners. All the other ones came with six and a griddle. I can do all eight burners with no griddle. Chuck was my dealer and he was absolutely wonderful. He listened to everything that we had to say, gave us input when we asked for it, and he wasn’t pushy. He didn’t try to give us something that we didn’t want.

We bought the freezer and refrigerator from Viking 12 years ago. The freezer is still doing great but the refrigerator went out. It would freeze up, and one of the default wires were loose. We hooked it up and then it had another problem. When I called in with problems, they were good about helping to get somebody to look at it. I had two different Viking certified people come out to work on it and they took it quickly apart, defrost it totally and then put it back together and say my drip pan wasnt lined up properly. Both times someone came it cost me $800 each and the second time I decided to just replace it because itll be cheaper in the long run.When I got the new one, the door seal on it would not seal. We travel a lot and we come back home and see that there would be rust inside our brand-new refrigerator. It took three times to get somebody to figure out the problem and fix it and had it slamming shut. Were loving it now. It’s great. The new lighting is so bright and pretty and I really like it. The fridge isnt pretty when you open it up and you see this $9,000 refrigerator with rust inside it, but its still a good deal.

Everybody knows about Viking Ranges and Ive heard theyre pretty good appliances. However, Ive got a problem with the one I received. It came with a warming shelf that does not come down to the right angle. And the customer service kept telling me thats the way the shelf was made. Its been frustrating to try to get this one issue resolved. Then I get lots of calls from the customer service wanting surveys done. But I never get calls from the people that needed to fix the range. They should follow up with me and fix the problem. Overall, the product is good but the customer service isnt.

The quality of the range was okay, but after a few months, the igniters were not lighting up properly. Then one time, I opened up the door and it came off, so I dont think it was a good range that we got. They came once to fix the door and then they came out again to fix the igniter. I wish I had a better stove.

I have Viking in other homes, and this time, they were running a rebate which was a considerable amount of money. Also, Viking was acquired by another company and word on the street was their quality issues had been fixed. I also looked at Wolf and Thermador and read horrendous reviews about them, but they’re great products too. Ultimately the price point made the big difference for me and I bought a range from Viking. The qualitys pretty good. Upon unboxing and installation, there were two burners that were inoperable so that was not a good start. I then got a service call in and haven’t heard anything from them and it’s been two weeks. But I have been able to use it. I like the rapid heat oven which is very nice. I also like the true convection oven portion of it. It has three different convection modes, but the true conduct is very nice. And the overall appearance was very sharp. The dealer was good too. I did most of my research online and I have a rep that I used. I simply called him and said, “Order it.” Its a great product, well-made craftsmanship, and a value in the realm of high end, other than the burners. But I thought that may have been a shipping issue.

Less than a year ago, when we needed a new refrigerator, we were talked into buying a new Viking (as opposed to a Sub Zero that served us so well after many years). Worked fine for the first 8 months or so but 3 weeks ago we realized that our freezer temperature (and then the refrigerator itself) was going up. It got up to almost 70 degrees. We quickly put in a call to dealer who sold and installed our refrigerator. They could not get to us for 3 days because of the Memorial Day week-end. We took everything out of the freezer and refrigerator and took them downstairs to a little portable unit.The service tech called us back the next day and told us to turn off the refrigerator/freezer and leave the doors open for 24 hours. The unit started working the next day so we put everything back in it. The service tech came and told us to keep things away from the vents and that would probably do it. Refrigerator/freezer worked for another 5 days and then it bombed out again. Once again we removed everything and brought it to the small unit downstairs. Once again, it took 3 days to get the service tech back. He put in new control boards and said everything was fine. And again, with great optimism, we moved everything back into the unit.Last night, while making dinner, the upper vent in the refrigerator started making a loud noise. I immediately grabbed my phone and took a video. The freezer temp was already at 16 degrees and going up. Guess what we did? We again moved everything out! We called the service tech right away and sent him the video. He will be here in 3 days. Obviously we are extremely discouraged about this $10,000 unit. And I am extremely tired of running to the little unit downstairs everytime I need something. Give us back our Sub-Zero!!!

Ive had one Viking Range for about 16 years prior to my new one. I had no problem with it and it cooks very nice. The igniters on the old range I just got rid of gave up too soon. The temperature is true to the setting and really is dependable. I like the way it cooks in every way. It makes me feel like Im cooking like a chef and everybody that comes in remarks on how nice it looks in the kitchen.

The dishwasher had problems working within the first few months. We thought we just did not know how to use it. We have a three year warranty. Two and a half years later, we finally called for a warranty service call. We were told that Viking has a recall on all their dishwashers. We have had three service calls to date, its still not working. The service person has replaced almost every circuit board, wiring loom, motor, pump etc. Now we need a fourth service call to replace another circuit board. I am now asking Pacific Sales to replace my dishwasher. I was told no by one of their employees. Im now waiting for a manager to call me back. I am insisting Pacific Sales replace the defective dishwasher they sold me.

I had always wanted the Viking brand and when I shopped around, I figured it was in my price range. I took it and my interactions with Reno’s Appliances were very good. I like all of my ranges features and the quality is very good. Id tell others to get Viking as well.

I went from electric to gas with the Viking range. Aside from wanting gas, I liked the looks of it and the knobs. Theyre big and theyre easy to use. I like the sliding rack too but they should have two of them in there and not just one. Also, when we got the range home, the convection oven did not work. I didnt know it for a while because I didnt use it. But Viking was really prompt about getting it taken care of and getting a man out here to fix it. Ive had it for a couple of months now and everything has been great so far. We also bought the microwave and the convection on it didnt work. Because Viking dropped the ball on that one, they just ordered us a new one and sent it out instead of having the microwave repaired. Theyve taken care of us really good.

Viking Ranges is one of the brands you’d look at if you’re looking for a professional-style range. Ive checked them out as I was doing a kitchen renovation. I’ve got a bit of an older model from them. It looks more clean and it’s not as fancy-looking. Its just simple, and I want it to work well and not look pretty. Performance-wise, I like how much heat it can put out and the consistency of that. It’s a lot more powerful. I like the high heat of it and also its ability to keep it below simmer. You can get it really low. Most ranges can’t hold such a low flame. The range has been great and I’m getting adjusted to cooking with it. One of the things that I think was a bizarre design of the range is when you have the oven on and it gets to a temperature, it cycles on and off. And it seems like it cycles rather frequently. It’ll shut off and then you’ll hear, “Tick, tick, tick,” and then it will all fire back up. I thought there was a problem with it, so I called Viking just to understand. From what I understood, the newer models have this glow bar, and it’s a little bit different. I think they fixed that but changed the mechanism.The Viking customer service were helpful and was okay. I had some problems at first when I got the range. When I was trying to get it troubleshot and have someone come out and take a look at something that there was a problem, it took them almost two weeks before they were able to get someone to me. That was just a little bit long, especially considering I just got the product. For people who likes to cook and can afford a range like Viking, I think it would be a good range for them to get.

I bought my first Viking in 2004 with my inheritance from my grandmother. I always dreamed of having a professional kitchen. I purchased all Thermador except for my Fridge. I have a Viking 36inch drawer freezer on bottom. Never ending recalls and issues then I purchased a new one from the company on a recall. The man showed up with the new unit and fixed the recall on the recalled unit. Well, that was in 2011, it is now 2017 and guess what? I am in the same shape as I was before. However, no deal. I have fallen on pretty much deaf ears. You can even YouTube funny skits about it, but the techs will look at you like you are the only person in the world. I have a mental block on that beeping noise when the compressor goes out and I am about to lose all my food. Good news though, I just found out they are indeed suppose to defrost themselves. So, if you are a gambler, like taking chances... maybe just maybe you will be lucky enough not to deal with what I have. Cheers!Updated on [05/06/2018]: I wanted to follow up with all the promises that were made to me. Well, that just did not work out so now I have a trusty 159.00 freezer from Sams Wholesale Club and my ice cream is now frozen. I found out that well they had also replaced the parts they replaced while I was ill for a pretty penny and they are still claiming no fault. However, my Thermador products are working like a charm and I will be investing in their products. Please learn from my experience... when you buy expensive products make sure the quality and customer support is behind you. I have no problem paying... but don’t give me Magic Chief with a Viking name on it. Not to mention treat me like a human being. I work hard for my money. I’m sure even Viking would not tolerate what they do to their clients.

If you are considering a Viking appliance RUN away as fast as you can! This is the 3rd built in refrigerator/freezer I’ve had installed and what a nightmare it’s been working with the Viking company! Awful to say the least. This 3rd built in was installed 5 years ago and now both voltage boards have died. The serviceman just told me that one of the boards, the main one that runs everything, is on back order! Oh how I’ve been down this road before with Viking when they installed the 2nd piece of crap that did the exact same thing but only after 2 months of having it installed. It took over 3 months of pulling my hair out before I had a refrigerator/freezer that worked. Because that same board was on back order and they didn’t know when it would be available and because it was under warranty I demanded a new refrigerator/freezer as that’s why a 3rd one was installed. I wrote the company explaining all the problems and grief I went through and asked for an extended warranty. I received a letter from Viking telling how sorry they were about all the problems but SORRY we cannot extend the warranty. I received NO compensation from this ** hole of a company! They truly DON’T care about their customers!!! Run I say, RUN. Can’t wait to see how long it will take before I have a working refrigerator/freezer again!

Viking products have been in my family for as long as I can remember. I found the right size fridge for what I wanted to do from Viking and I went to the dealer and bought it. I was pleased with the delivery and installation. It’s an extremely large refrigerator and it’s not the easiest thing to move around. The quality of the refrigerator is also fine. It’s a high-end unit and its cold. Viking Refrigerators last forever.

We were renewing our kitchen and we wanted something to upgrade our stove. My wife pretty much knew what she wanted. She looked at it online and she talked to our contractor. Then we purchased a Viking and during the installation, there were many glitches. The gas pipe was making the stove come out a little bit. But we called our gas company and they changed the fitting then it made everything fit fine. So far, the product has been great and my wife loves it.

I bought an upgraded Viking gas oven with the highest quality cooktop/burners. I opted for this upgrade mainly for the burners and the self cleaning feature of the oven. The FIRST TIME the self cleaning feature was used, the oven door would not unlock! Evidently, the oven door locks when the self cleaning feature is activated to prevent a child from opening the door and getting burned. Makes sense (except any opening of the door while in use would result in burns). One would think that a distortion of a bi-metal plate would enable this locking feature. Viking, however, uses some electronic mechanism (some cheap piece of crap) which breaks down when exposed to heat! GENIUS! This mechanism evidently breaks down often and the Viking-recommended repair man suggested breaking the lock mechanism to enable opening of door rather than repairing since it would break again! HERES the KICKER -- THE SELF CLEANING FEATURE WILL NOT ENGAGE ever again because the self locking door is inoperable. PATHETIC. Viking should be ashamed of themselves. As in all these other reviews. Buyer beware. DO NOT BUY!!!!

We were doing a high-end kitchen renovation and there were only a few brands that were built in and have the look and were a 30-inch refrigerator column. We’ve dealt with a small appliance shop in the past that our contractor recommended. Its a family-owned business so we were quite comfortable there and got great information. They treated us well at that store and we had experience with them previously on another renovation. I wanted to buy the Viking refrigerator because it has the technology to help remove odors where the Thermador we were looking at did not. And it holds everything I needed to hold. But we’ve had a second service call for the refrigerator, so were a little uneasy right now.Theres been water leaking into the bottom of the refrigerator, so the tech came out about a month or two ago, and he found something that was wrong and fixed it. And then, they were out again today because it didnt stop leaking water. It was coming in from a different place now, so were waiting on Viking technical services to respond back to us and the appliance repair guys.Getting service is easy. We havent had to wait very long to get appointments when we’ve called. We had vacation in the middle, so we had to wait a little to get the second call put in. But theyve been good on customer service. When I called Viking customer service, it was really good. I emailed them because I was too busy to call and it took several days for them to get back. But then, they dispatched the repair people pretty quickly. The local repair service that is authorized is good so far. They even came into the newly renovated kitchen and looked around at all of the appliances and told us they could work on all of it. Theyve been pleasant and quick to show up, and easy to schedule.

Weve had the Viking refrigerator since ’07 when we remodeled the kitchen. Unfortunately, weve had a number of issues with the unit since we bought it. The compressor went out within the first three years and although it was covered, the hassle of having a refrigerator not working was not desirable. We also had something else similar go out that we had to cover labor on. Then we had an icemaker go out and it got replaced. Then back in July, it stopped refrigerating. We had a leak in a tube for the Freon. This tube system had a little pan that had water in it so it corroded and that was where it leaked. So we had a guy come in and do a repair on it. But that was only a temporary repair. In August, it failed again. We realized that the unit was still covered for parts although not for labor because it was a six-year parts and labor then a 12-year parts warranty. At that point, the refrigerator was just under 11 years. So we called about having the part covered but the guy that we had through that one repair that failed said the he couldnt submit that to the factory because he was not factory-authorized. So I looked up an authorized repair center which was located in Wisconsin, about 60 miles away from us. But we were told that at that point, our warranty was null and void because the repair was done by an unauthorized repair guy and he did something that the factory would not have authorized. When we contacted Viking, they confirmed that the repair that was done, which was putting a sealer into some Freon, was not really authorized and it could cause other parts to fail. I also talked to two technicians and when the customer service person came back, they offered us a different unit, a brand new unit, at a 25% discount. But it was still gonna be a lot of money. Plus the new unit did not have some of the features we had. It did not even have a water dispenser. Then I contacted this other repair guy. He said that he was pretty sure he knew what was wrong. He came back and fixed it, and its been working fine ever since. Hailey, from the unit factory, contacted us and she was a very nice person. My wife explained to her what had happened and that we were just gonna stay with what we had and see how it goes. So the refrigerator had four different repairs and the door ripped on it as well. There is no perfect but you would think some of these things would be more long-lasting than what they had been. The design is really poor unfortunately. While we like the unit, were disappointed with the quality of the high-end appliance that we paid a premium price for. We initially paid somewhere in the $5,000 range for it and the fact that it has gone out so many times is disappointing.

We had our kitchen remodeled and our contractor recommended Viking Refrigerators. We went and looked at appliances and all different brands and we really like Vikings look and functionality. The price was also right. There’s a lot of great features, little things like it will beep if the door is open too long and its ability to program the temperature versus using a dial in older electronics. It has a really nice ice maker, too. The lighting is beautiful on the inside, it is bright. The quality of refrigeration is great. It keeps the vegetables and fruits cold in the compartment. Moreover, their guys at the dealer were great. They are knowledgeable and helpful. They gave lots of different options to look at. We’re very happy with Viking Refrigerators.

I really like my Viking stove thats why I looked into buying a Viking refrigerator, too. I researched a lot and it seemed like Viking had the least number of complaints regarding breaking down or having trouble within the first five years. I like having two temperatures in the refrigerator. I can pull out the drawer and put a flat and large plate of cake or tart in the different section and control the temperature. Moreover, the Viking team at the dealer was nice, friendly and knowledgeable. They knew what the difference was between Viking and the other manufacturers which was great.However, Im having an issue with the fridge already. The second week after I purchased it, I noticed theres an icy patch in the back of the drawers. Some of the vegetables in the drawers were getting frozen. I had the temperature set at 37 Fahrenheit, in which nothing should be freezing at that point. I had to wait 20 minutes to speak to any technician then had to hold another 15 minutes to set up an appointment. I just bought it so I expect to get it fixed. I had to speak to the servicer in my area who called me back but there was a scheduling conflict so I havent seen them yet. Theyre supposed to come on Monday. I expected more. Im slightly disappointed with the problem I had.

I have a built-in Monogram that I pulled out and died and I dont how to put one. I have spent that kind of money to put a built-in back in. Ive known Viking Refrigerators for a while then I saw it in the store. It met my needs. There was something damaged on it though and I was supposed to get another drawer and I didnt. I like that it keeps the vegetables fresh although this wonderful refrigerator does not have one of those little twist-in filters. Even the way its set up, you cant put an inline filter because its built-in and you cant get to it. Theres not enough room at the bottom.

We had Viking previously in North Carolina and liked it very much. We bought a brand-new Viking French door oven and a stove top. But the refrigerator, we bought second-hand from a friend of mine. She ended up buying a brand-new pair for almost $20,000 and we’re like, “Good God! We can’t afford that.” We asked what shell do with the others and she said shell just donate them so we bought them from her. We’ve only been using them for two weeks but we like how it’s not deep. So, everything’s not buried in the fridge. Plus, the quality is second to none.

We ordered the Viking Refrigerator and were very happy with it. We got it from the Ferguson in Sarasota. The salesman knew what he was selling. I wasnt over-the-top with him but he was okay. What was a little unusual was that they didnt have the stuff in-stock and we had to wait for production and delivery for about a month. The installation was rather annoying too. The guys that delivered it werent plumbers, so they took out our existing refrigerator, put it in the garage where we wanted it, and left the Viking out in the garage as well because they couldnt install the water element. They had to send somebody back the next day and we were inconvenienced by that. On the other hand, the quality of the refrigeration we received from the Viking seems excellent, so far. Also, I like the looks, the heavy door, the lighting, the way its organized, and the freezing compartment because of the French door. Wed recommend it to a friend.

I wanted a red refrigerator and we found one from Viking Refrigeration. Our decorator also told me that this was the largest refrigerator and freezer and they had good reviews. However, Im not real happy with it. Weve been in the house for a while and Im still waiting for the icemaker to work and Im having a problem with the Viking hood too. Everything else is fine. The refrigerator keeps food cold.

I used to be a restaurant owner so Ive always known what a great product Viking gives out. My daughter is a chef so shes heard of them, and we have some friends that have Viking. Everything was great. The Viking dealer was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The range is perfect and has excellent quality. It was sturdy, perfectly flamed, and keeps the temperature. All is very good, and its a stove that I only buy once in a lifetime. Everything I need as a cook is there, and I dont need to buy anything else.

Weve had Viking in the past and the Viking refrigerator was in the house when we bought it. It was a new Viking, so we registered it. Its probably the model that was chosen, but to not be able to have water in the door is difficult. When I open the door and want to pull out that longer middle drawer, I cant without opening both doors. And if I want to pull out the right side drawer, I cant do that either without opening the door. Theres nothing I can do about the shelving or the way the drawers is pulled out. So, it isnt really all that convenient. We cook all the time and its difficult to arrange the refrigerator. A Sub-Zero is a better refrigerator for us.Also, were used to having a gas range, so Im not familiar with having electric. The rangetop doesn’t heat quickly and when I turn it off, it doesn’t turn off quickly either. So, its really a challenge to get it figured out on how long do I cook something. And the oven, too. It’s not calibrated properly. So what I normally would cook in 20 minutes takes closer to 30 minutes. I would not recommend Viking to a friend. The dishwasher is the same thing. Those are expensive appliances and I am not that thrilled with any of them.

We love Viking and weve always wanted one due to their reputation. Weve had two ranges thus far, one in Sag Harbor thats 10 years old and one bought more recently in Michigan. Our Viking ranges cook well and thus far, the grill on top has been our favorite feature. Its convenient in the wintertime when we can use it instead of going outside.

My choices are limited when I go to 36-inches as far as the manufacturers. Viking was one of them. And at the time, they gave an incentive. When I bought the range, I got a free Viking dishwasher. The quality is good. When the range was delivered, there were some scratches on it. The store that I purchased it from had somebody come out and take care of it. I used the broiler six months after I bought the range and it didnt work. So, the appliance store sent out whoever they use for repairs and service and they were able to fix the problem.The one question I have is why when you go to a 36-inch range, Viking doesnt offer a self-cleaning oven. Also, the 36-inch range is more of a commercial range. Because we pay a good amount for these ranges, Viking should give a tutorial after they install it. How to use it, what to look for, how to clean it. That would be helpful.

The builder chose Viking for all our home appliances. Im very happy with the quality of their appliances. Although, Viking was giving us the regular refrigerator without the ice dispensing part in front so I requested for a switch. I like the refrigerators ice part and that the vegetables and fruit trays allow me to check the moisture control - this feature allows the food to stay fresh longer. We had to change the filter once and my husband had spoken to somebody at Viking to find out what filter was required. We ordered the filters through Viking and had been replacing it since then.

We bought our house about 5 years ago and it came with Viking appliances which we were excited about. The fridge worked great for a few years but about 2 years ago it started leaking water all over the floor. Huge pools of water would collect in the bottom of the freezer and freeze over, which prohibited us from closing the freezer door all the way. We had an authorized repairman come twice and they told us it was probably a clogged drain line. We got really tired of stepping into huge piles of water on our floor every few weeks and starting to damage our hardwood floors. After the 2nd repairman visit told us it probably wasnt going to get better we finally just got a new Kenmore fridge last week. Now we have an old Viking fridge sitting in our hall and Im wondering if we try to sell it on Craigslist at a deep discount as its a bit of a lemon. We also havent loved our dishwasher as even though we clean the drain at the bottom, it still starts to smell between washings. The oven and range work great, though!

In our kitchen, we have a Viking cooktop and a Viking dishwasher. So, when we moved into this house, we decided to go with Viking to complete the set and for the quality. I purchased a Viking Series 5 built-in refrigerator through Best Buy. It was delivered and installed, and it was working fine for about two days. Then, one of the hinges seemed to have broken on the door. I went back to Best Buy and told them about it. They said they would order a new one and have it delivered, take the old one and send it back. This was about six weeks ago and the new one was supposed to show up yesterday. I got a phone call in the morning saying that it was not gonna show up. Its been quite frustrating to call me the day its supposed to arrive and tell me that it was not gonna come. They scheduled a day that it might come which is for August 28th but I got three different emails, which all say 28th, 29th, and 31st. So, I dont know what day its actually coming at this point.Originally, I thought it was only gonna be five weeks. So, they offered for me to purchase a substitute refrigerator until the other one came in and I could return the substitute at a later time. If it was gonna be another five weeks, we can live with it but the door thing has been getting progressively worse to the point where Im the only one in the house that can shut it. Its a 48-inch refrigerator, so its a heavy door. You can lift the door up to get it to shut and it seals once its shut. Also, to add insult to injury, when you pull the door down of the Viking dishwasher, theres a rubbing noise and you have to sort of push it a little. So, Ive been trying to call the appliance vendor that we got that through, but I cant get a call back from them. When Viking works, it’s great. But when there’s an issue, it can’t get resolved. And Best Buy is throwing Viking under the bus saying that they were the ones who didnt deliver it.

When I bought a newly-built property, it had a Viking range in there. Its ignition piece works well and Im satisfied with it.

We went through Pacific Sales at Best Buy and they were able to work with us and help us out. We got the range, microwave and dishwasher. We had to wait for five weeks to get the stuff. And when they came to install it, there was a problem with the microwave. There was a broken screw inside the microwave itself so the installers could not put the screw through to mount it onto the cabinet. We called Vikings and they told us that we have to wait another three weeks. And that they couldn’t order one until this unit was turned back in. Finally they were able to get one in a couple of days and they came out to install it. And the second microwave had the exact same problem. I confirmed that it’s not the same microwave to make sure that they didn’t turn around and bring the same one back. It was a totally different serial number, so two microwaves had the exact same broken screw.The installer just happened to have another microwave on their truck that was supposed to be delivered to some other lady’s house and it was too big for her house so she had to cancel the order. There was some issues about whether or not he could install it because he had to turn that one in and then it had to be reassigned. But I was able to call Best Buy and they worked around it and they were able to give him the okay to install that other microwave. So we finally got it installed. It wasn’t the original one that we had ordered, but it did not have a problem. It all got worked out. But it was a headache for us trying to get everything installed correctly. Best Buy was kind enough to give us a $250 check towards the headache that we had. They were very friendly and helpful. And so, at the end of the day, we were happy.

The Viking Range has met all of my expectations. Its quality seems fine and I like the ranges appearance.

Weve gone into an upper-end appliance dealer in our area and looked at a couple of different brands but in the end, we decided on Viking. I also had a fairly large Viking grill with the side burners at my prior home and I liked the construction of that. I liked the style which was pretty simple and clean. But I have a problem with my refrigerator and its being serviced currently. Its a little disconcerting having an issue within six months of getting it installed but well see how the repair goes. It is covered under warranty though and customer service is great. Theyre very quick to get me tied into the local authorized dealer in the area and getting that scheduled. Also, Ive ordered some accessories off of their website and I still have one pending now for about three months. There are things that we are led to believe are available but they tend to be on backorder and take many months to finally get.

We have had Viking for the past 12 years. I chose to buy Viking because I love to cook and I love the way you can cook and the refrigeration and the ovens work. This refrigeration we have has improved a lot from the one that we had before. My favorite thing about it is that the fruits last a little bit longer than a regular refrigerator and that the door works better because it’s make out of solid material. But I’ve been having a lot of trouble taking the stickers out of the inside of the refrigerator. I had tried everything and I still have two and a half stickers that I haven’t been able to take away. Also, its a little expensive but I will highly recommend Viking.

Viking Refrigerators are crazy expensive rather than just going with a regular refrigerator. But my wife wanted one so we got one and it is fine. Our experience with the sales rep and the installation were great. We also have a Viking stove and the starters on the gas thing weren’t working. But then a gentleman showed up, found the problem, came back with the parts, and fixed it.

We werent die-hard Viking fans but we fell in love with an orange stove that we walked by. It feels quality and I love it with one stove to the next. Also, I have these rolling racks in the oven and that’s an improvement. Viking gave us a tremendous deal but the stove was a lemon. It must have been fixed five to 10 times and it couldn’t stay fixed. But Viking was nice enough to replace it without us asking for it. The replacement has been great but the circumference of the circle is a little hot. It’s always cooking on the outside of my pots. I wish the range had a smaller circle. Other than that, Viking proved that customer experience matters and I tell everybody how good they were.

I like everything about my Viking range. It’s nothing fancy but it’s fine. It’s more industrial and the quality, so far, is good. Also, I purchased it from a store in Portland, Oregon and the rep that I dealt with was very good.

Fridge is leaking water on to the floor after 4 years. Authorized service tech didnt find anything wrong but changed thermostat just in case was the problem. Fridge still leaks. YouTube videos show it is likely a clogged drain line. After taking apart fridge we can see the evaporation tray is completely dry, yet water is leaking on floor. Why didnt tech even check this??? Seems pointless to call tech back since he was so clueless but we dont know how to fix it. Also the shelves broke too easily.

Our Viking Range is beautiful and it cooks very well. It actually cooks quicker than my former range. It looks very nice to the eye and thats really why we chose our specific model. However, our door isnt level. The right side of the door sticks out further than the left side. So, the light is often on.

Ten years ago, we saw Viking ranges when we did some other kitchen. We had bought a Samsung Dual Fuel and it was a month-old when it broke, so we sent it back. They brought us another one and that one broke too, so we decided not to go to Samsung anymore. We went out to look for a stove and where we had just remodeled our bathroom, they had a kitchen display for all their kitchen wares and were moving showroom, so all their kitchen stuff were on sale. The Viking Range was 50% off. It was $6,000 but we got it for $3,000. We were looking for a stove, so why not? Ive only had it a couple of months, but I like it. However, Im not crazy about how I cant get it to simmer low enough, and the blue light that clicks off and on, so I dont really ever know when the ovens preheated. Theres no bell that dings and says that its ready, so Im constantly looking at that light to see if it has preheated, and I wish there was. Also, I miss my drawer in the bottom where I kept all my cookie sheets and stuff, and the Viking Range doesnt have it. We had to take our microwave out and get a downdraft, and that was a bummer. It wasnt really a Viking dealer who sold it to me. It was a Fergusons Plumbing lady who did. On the other hand, one thing I do like about it real well, is the way the telescopic tray pulls out in the center.

My Viking fridge is of high quality, and I like the bottom being the freezer that pops out.

I have a friend who is an appliance repairman and he helped me decide what I was gonna purchase for my new kitchen. I had heard of Viking before and he recommended them. I like the look of the stove that I got from them. I also like its quality, which is great. There’s no comparison between my Viking oven and the one that I had in the past, as Ive never had anything of this quality before. The sturdiness of the range is my favorite feature. In addition, the burners are all very accurate and I like the way they burn. I would tell friends to go ahead and buy a Viking range.

We bought our Viking range through Best Buy and the customer service was good over there until we started getting the appliances. They said it was like a white glove delivery. They took everything apart and installed it and it wasnt smooth. The fridge door was damaged and they swapped it but it wasnt good. They brought another one and it was exactly the same problem. We had to change it two times. They left that plastic that covered the stainless steel of the fridge. They didnt remove it well so its hard to get it now.Then, the first person that came to install the range said he didnt know how to install a gas range and an electrical oven so he just walked away. The other people that came to install it had the pieces they needed to bring, but they didnt have any other time to come and my husband and I had bought tickets for a concert so my husband had to miss that. I had to go by myself and we lost the money on that. And the guy was saying racist things. Also, the dishwasher came and it was completely destroyed. The door was all bent. We moved into the kitchen without the dishwasher. Then they brought a dishwasher and they installed it bad. They sent us the new people to install it and those people treated me really bad. It was a battle.If Viking has their product represented by Best Buy, it wasnt good and unfortunately, that’s reflected on Vikings product. But when we had a little problem with our range and we had to call Viking for the warranty, which was surprising, they resolved it. They sent a company that will come cover my area and they came after I called. It was relatively fast.

I purchased a Viking range for my home. I was reading the reviews and I just went for a try. The Viking dealer was very helpful, and everything went well on the installation. The quality of the range is very good. I’m happy with it and I like everything about it.

I had a KitchenAid that was four years old prior to having my first Viking Refrigerator, and I had nothing but problems with their refrigerators. The Viking Refrigerator is beautiful. It was the only one that looked built-in and looked really like a professional grade refrigerator with the handles. It looks good in my kitchen and it cools the food. That’s top-of-the-line so I was expecting it to be quiet but that’s not the case. The actual noise that comes out of that refrigerator is absolutely unacceptable and terrible. Its super high pitched, like a whistling sound. Its the loudest refrigerator Ive ever had. Ive had two people come out and look at it and they weren’t very helpful. One was here for five minutes and said, “No, that’s just the compressor. No, its a little bit louder than most but that’s just normal.” That was it and then he left. I had three homes and several different refrigerators and for them to act like it was normal but mine was a little bit louder than the rest made me wonder if there was really something wrong with it. Even my husband said that weve spent almost $4,000 on this fridge and its super loud. Im just going to have to live with it and maybe down the line, if it doesn’t break in, then Im going to have them come back out. And Id tell others not to buy one because they might get a loud one like mine.

I researched on the website a while back and to me, Viking products were outpriced out, so I didn’t care for Viking at all and I was looking more into BlueStar and Wolf. But then this year I went to Best Buy and I saw the Viking range, and the customer service guy there, Cary, started telling me about it. I was looking at it and ended up buying it. And I was surprised because I never thought I was gonna have a Viking. But I love it and I’m happy with the customer service. Now the only thing is the cleaning portion of the ceramic part where I can’t get some tough stains out. And customer service doesnt have anybody that I can call and walk me through it or give me ideas. I have to look on the web, and that’s the only bad part.The baking feature of the range is great but it’s a little bit slow. If I have a cake that is a 30-minute cake, the baking time goes close to an hour. I love to bake and a pound cake is supposed to be 45 to an hour and 15 minute and Viking goes close to the two hour time. The oven turns off and it comes back on, so baking takes longer. I may be doing something wrong but I don’t press the button for a convection oven. So I’ll ask the technician when they come. The dealer in the Pacific Department at Best Buy was an excellent help and Viking Ranges is excellent. Go ahead and purchase one if you can do it.

I purchased a home and a Viking refrigerator was in it. It was hard to register and they needed to know other numbers that were printed on the packaging in order to register all their appliances. So, you have to call, which was a pain and you couldn’t register it via phone. You had to then go on their website and do it. Also, my fridge was not installed properly by the builder and I’ve had trouble getting someone to service to reinstall it for me. Other than that, the fridge is fine.

Im not very happy with any of my Viking appliances that I got with my house. I used to live in California where I had all the Viking high-end appliances and they were great. Then, I moved here in Washington and the builder offered to put Viking for me and they were the most basic model of appliances. Originally, it wasnt Viking thats in our home and I wanted to switch out the dishwasher. The builder said, I ordered 28 sets of appliances for my other projects and I have one set extra cause I only needed 27. I can put that in your house. I agreed because its Viking and Ive had them in the past, but I didnt get to see what models they were or pick which one it is.The refrigerator was so poorly-made and it got dents on the freezer drawer. I was showing a guy the dents of my refrigerator. He said, That actually wasnt made by Vikings. Its all Whirlpool stuff in there. I was like, That explains it. Also, my stove didnt work right, and I had to have a plumber and a dishwasher guy come over to fix my dishwasher. These appliances are only three years old and we dont abuse them. We run them properly and keep them clean. I felt suspicious of the place where my builder bought my appliances from. I wonder if they gave him leftover or rejected batches because it seems that my appliances are and that store is closed down now. However, I like the double doors because Ive never had that before and so then I could open just one side to get my things out. Given that, I would recommend Viking in general but people should buy the highest end since the low-end ones arent that great.

Ive known about Viking from friends who used to have it in their houses and I got a Viking range because of its appearance and quality. It looks nice and works as expected. It’s still pretty new and I haven’t used it too much. But is been a positive experience so far..

We purchased Viking appliances when we remodeled our kitchen 6 years ago. The oven, stove have not presented any problems. However the built in freezer and refrigerator, which looked beautiful, have had problems too many to count. The freezer had a leak, within 1 year, which caused an ice build up at the bottom of the freezer which caused the door to jam. This was finally resolved after 2 years of service calls. Now the built in refrigerator is leaking on my hardwood floors due to a cracked vertical drain and the parts to repair it have been back ordered for 5 weeks now and still on back order. I have to replace a towel under the unit every day so that my hardwood floors will survive. However I do not know the condition of the floors under the unit.

We’ve heard good things about Viking refrigerators and have seen them in other people’s houses. We’re happy with our refrigerator. We like how all the shelves are laid out to keep it organized. It is a good product and I would recommend them.

We wanted a Viking Refrigerator, design and character-wise for the house. As of now, the refrigerator portion is working. The freezer is intermittent and the icemaker does not work at all. It was a brand-new fridge that stopped working after a couple of weeks. Weve contacted them and they scheduled a third-party to come. We had to wait a couple of weeks before they were able to come out and look at it. The guy comes out and confirms that the fridge doesnt work. He wasnt sure what was wrong and had to order some parts. Weeks and weeks and weeks went by and they are still not scheduled to come back to install what they ordered. Plus, the dealer was horrible.

After reading these complaints, I feel really foolish being included in this massive collection of consumers who have purchased these products that perform so poorly. No one should ever have to make this error again. Stove, dishwasher, and range aggravate me on a daily basis. My only hope is a class action lawsuit for deceitful business practice that will redeem this unfairness.

The dishwasher we bought 3 years ago has been a disaster. This week, the start button fell into the dishwasher. Then the rocket scientist repair person (who is an authorized repair person for Viking) comes to check it, ends up ordering the wrong part because he thought that was the problem, after disassembling the entire panel. Now he says the correct part is backordered for 3 weeks at least. I called All Viking Parts.com and Viking and confirmed this. How is it possible that a $28.00 part cannot be found in the United States of America? Viking is SO proud it is made in the USA, yet cannot have a $28 part in stock. Also, when we bought our 3 viking appliances, they came with a 1 yr warranty. Now they come with a 3 year warranty..... must be due to the fact they are absolute pieces of jump. The stove, fridge and dishwasher have ALL broken. The dishwasher being the most to break. In fact, a part I bought myself and installed in the fridge, has broken.... again... literally within 2 weeks of installing it. NEVER BUY VIKING APPLIANCES..... NOT WORTH IT. I wish I would have listened to the reviews I read about Viking before purchasing.

My Viking Refrigerator seems pretty high quality and well-built. Im impressed by the aesthetics and how it fits its space. The other feature was a light that turns on and off slowly. Its nice to have a little touch. But, getting it delivered was a huge pain. We told them specifically that we have a driveway thats not going to fit a large truck. They showed up with a semi-truck and they had no way to unload the refrigerator. Three weeks later, they came back with another truck. It took several tries to get the delivery right.

I love to cook. My next-door neighbor used to be a head chef for a French restaurant in New York City and she has a Viking. So I was looking at getting one. At the time, I was also looking at Wolf and an Italian stove. But the guy at the Appliances Connection down in New Jersey talked me into buying the Viking. I heard that Viking had some issues back and he convinced me that those issues had been resolved. So I believed him and I bought it. But Ive been frustrated a little bit because it came not working. The small stove would ignite but it would go out and it would keep trying to ignite over and over again. I called Viking and I registered it, but she told me they didnt have anyone who repairs it in our area. I told her my next-door neighbor has a stove and that Id ask her. But the woman said no and never followed through with getting someone to repair it.However, the people I bought this stove from, Appliances Connection, stepped up and found a repairman. They organized the repair and now it is fixed. Im very happy. But someone needs to talk to Vikings service department rep. Other than that, the quality of my Viking range is fantastic and the cooking capacity is awesome. I would recommend it.

I bought a kitchen full of appliance from Viking. My refrigerator has caused what appear to be typical problems. Doors not closing or sealing correctly. Ice maker repair four times thus far. Company over the years could have been more congenial!

The range is strong and sturdy. I like the quickness of being able to heat on the stovetop, and the accuracy of the temperature inside the oven. Best Buy did a really good job of promoting the product, and when we purchased the stove, a dishwasher was included.

Viking has been a long-standing name. I’ve remodeled my kitchen and Viking is one of the models that we looked to buy, and we ended up purchasing the whole package, including the dishwasher, fridge, stove, the 36-inch. We love the stove and the dishwasher. We are having a slight issue with the stove, and we’re waiting for a call back from somebody to come and take a look at it. The refrigeration, as far as how cold it is, it’s been great. Our initial experience was not good though. The refrigerator came with a big wave, a number of waves, and not really dents. The initial response to my request was kind of flawed a little bit, and I didn’t know if that was so much at the manufacturer or it was the person the we purchased it from or the company we purchased it from.Viking said they would replace the door and I said it was not just a door and it was three doors. After some photos and back and forth, it was eventually replaced. So, I’m happy. I love the style and design. On each side of the door, there’s a lower part for drinks. It pivots and it kind of goes in and out a tiny bit. There’s a shelf that you can lean towards you, and I think it’s for small drinks. I just think that could be a tiny bit bigger. I do like the shelf and we didn’t even know it existed. I didn’t read the whole book when I got it. And you can tuck the one-half of the shelf back so you could fit a taller bottle in there. We have started using that. That’s a nice feature.

I’ve owned two properties and both of them had Viking products. Im also in the industry and I used to work for Home Depot as a merchant. Viking is a good brand name and Ive had no issues with my double French door refrigerator.

Hinges were replaced 2 times, and theyre still not right. Seals were replaced. Freezer would freeze and thaw out because of seals. Water leak caused floor damage. Plastic shelving and doors have numerous cracks. Viking offered a discount on a new refrigerator, but we would like to enter a class action lawsuit if there is one. We have had nothing but trouble with the refrigerator. The interior of the freezer is rusted in numerous places.

We purchased a 36 Viking Range model #VDSC5366BSS with 6 sealed burners, sealed broiler, sealed heating element and have had three significant issues. The first, a cracked broiler occurred in the first month after installation. The second time, the broiler broke (November, 2012). We could not get a technician to fix it for weeks (still not fixed until today). Today (Nov. 21, 2012), the day before Thanksgiving, the entire oven does not work. We have called Viking, we have called the distributor (Gene Schick company) and we have called local service people but no one could service this unit. This Viking series has design flaws and should be recalled. Viking is expensive to buy and expensive to repair. My recommendation is do not purchase.

I liked the product of Viking Refrigerators and some of the features that it had on it. So, I got a Viking refrigerator and I like the space. But the ice maker didn’t work and it didnt make ice at all from the get-go with the first fridge that I got, so they replaced the fridge. But now Im having issues too with the ice maker on the second fridge. Ive had this fridge for a month before it started knocking. When I dealt with the representatives to try to get the ice maker issue resolved with both fridges, they were great and they’ve been on top of the issue. The technicians showed up and replaced the ice maker five times on the first fridge, before they replaced the fridge. Theyre now in the process of fixing the the second fridge and theyre gonna come out on Friday and replace the ice maker. Viking Refrigerators seemed to be great, but as for their product, I have to see what the outcome is gonna be regarding the issue with the ice maker.

My experience with Viking has been disappointing. We have a suite in the kitchen of everything Viking. The stove is now clicking every time I light something. The door of the refrigerator already had to be repaired and its ice makers drawer cant be pulled out smoothly ever since. The ovens door also had to be repaired because it was bent, and it took them eight months to get the part. Viking, however, constantly called me back to say they were still trying to get it or theyd gotten a part in and it was broken so theyre waiting again. They were really good about keeping me informed.

We were redoing a building and looked for faucets and stuff at Ferguson, so we saw the Viking product there. We heard a lot of good things about Viking and we like their style and stuff. We like the refrigerator that we got from them. Its size and all its shelves are my favorite parts of the refrigerator. It has the filter and it can make ice cubes. The only thing not in our refrigerator is the water dispenser, you cant get a glass of water from it. But the stove is what we fell in love with first. When we had problems with it, the guy that Ferguson sent was great.

Viking DDSF036 SS Counter depth side x side. The door was opened on the fridge side and one of the glass shelves shattered into little pieces. I called Viking to replace the shelf, no problem. Now 2 months later after my credit card was charged months ago and jerking me around they are telling me that they cant make or get the shelf. Needless to say, I will NEVER buy another Viking Appliance again. Now I have to go out and buy a new fridge because this part isnt available anywhere and YES I have tried everywhere to find it.

When redoing our kitchen we decide to purchase all Viking appliances: dishwasher, 36 inch gas range, commercial grade fridge, freezer, wine fridge, and microwave. From the time of installation there was issues with every single item. After repairing the dishwasher control panel twice for 800 dollars each time no warranty on that part we finally replaced it. Unfortunately I have a gas range and the only thing that works on it is two burners. I have never been able to use the grill and no one was able to repair it. My fridge and freezer is now turned off and no one wants to touch Viking products and to replace them is too much. In the beginning Viking had said they would replace all the products. After numerous calls then they disappeared and I was told my warranty was up and I was on my own. They never fixed it while the warranty was still good, they just waited and dragged things on. Worst experience ever. Beautiful kitchen with nothing working in it.

I’m fine with the Viking range. Its quality is good. It is well and it works. The Viking team was nice too. They got a recall item and sent it to me but come to find out, it was already on the unit when I got the recall item.

I went with the Viking refrigerator over a competitor because of its appearance. It is heavy and solid and because of that, some of the parts might have shifted during shipping. They needed quite a bit of adjustment at the beginning when its installed. The doors didnt shut well. But whats good about Viking is that they send people who handle their services well and they know how to deal with it. It is a process. But once its settled in, its all very good. Overall, it is an expensive set of products and the quality is great. But for the price I paid, it could be better.

Viking had a reputation to have a good quality and reliable product. Also, theyre a national brand, so theyre well-known. But were a little disillusioned with our Viking range. We had some problems with it when we got it and we got the runaround from Viking getting it repaired, so it was kind of an arduous process. I purchased an extended warranty from the company that we bought it from and when we had the problem, we called the extended warranty company. They said they wouldnt take care of it because were not out of our two-year warranty with Viking. So I had to go to Viking and Viking couldn’t find a local repair company in the area to repair it. Other than that, its hard to light the burners. I wont buy Viking again.

Weve now spent $2,000 repairing our $6,000 oven. The ignitors are cheap and do not last. The last repairmen said... they dont make better ignitors. I dont know about Wolfe and the other, but I would not get a Viking again.

We liked Vikings name recognition and aesthetics. I feel good about the quality of the range that we got. The installer commented that it was the heaviest range of that size he had ever tried to lift in his life. And he’s been installing high-end appliances for 15 years. Weight is a good indication of quality to me. You can typically look at the weight of something and figure out whether it’s made well or not. I also liked that we could get the Viking range in a custom color because my wife wanted a black one. We had to wait a couple of extra months for Viking to build that one. Having the dual fuel, which is the gas range and the electric oven, is good too.We got our Viking range at Bob Wallace Appliance in Huntsville, Alabama. They were really good and I would definitely recommend them. I picked out the range online, talked with the salesperson, ordered it over the phone, and had it delivered to my house. The whole thing from step one to the final step was done without me ever stepping foot in the store.I know that Viking and other high-end brands like this have like a no discount policy. But we were able to take advantage of a sale going on to where when we bought the range, we got a free Viking dishwasher with it. Also, one of the things that I wanted, we were going from a electric stove to a gas stove and I wanted a vent hood. And as part of that Viking promotion, we could pick a microwave or a dishwasher. In the future, they could add to the list of free products that one could get. I would’ve taken a free vent hood even though it’s less expensive than a dishwasher because I didn’t need a new dishwasher. I just got it anyways because it was free. The promotions like that are really good and as far as the stove, everything works perfectly right now.

The house that I bought had the Viking range in it. Im really happy with my experience with it. I love the center stove. Its huge and it helps me put my plate in there and then make pancakes for the whole house which is very convenient. However, in terms of difficulty, its just very hard to know what temperature the oven reached and how long that would take. Because it doesnt have the setting to say, Okay, pre-heat it. I have to go at least 400 degrees Fahrenheit. And theres no way that tells me that its ready at 400. One time I had one knob that my son broke so I had to call them. But it was out of warranty, so they just said it was out of warranty. I said, Okay, no problem. But they provided me information in terms of who can help me fix it. So I just called an external agency and then set it up with them. Id definitely recommend Viking to a friend.

We bought a Jenn-Air package. And our Jenn-Air range was leaking gas for several years, and they couldn’t seem to figure out how to stop it from leaking gas. So, I had them take it back and give me a credit. And the store manager recommended Viking as a replacement, and so I went with his recommendation. And that’s how I ended up with Viking. I love my Viking range. However, I feel like the oven takes too long to warm up. It’s a lot slower than the Jenn-Air one was. The Jenn-Air had some neat features that the Viking doesn’t have like it had a timer associated with it. It had a couple of different technological bonuses. But as far as the way it cooks and the way it looks, Viking’s great.

Viking has always had a good reputation and it competes with Wolf and Sub-Zero. The refrigerator that we got is cool and the range works well but weve been disappointed with the dishwasher. It doesnt dry well and weve told the dealer about it. A friend of ours got the same dishwasher we did and theyre equally displeased with it. Were both used to a competitor brand called Miele and their products are much better and put Viking to shame. Other than that, our dealer from Key West, Florida has certified appliance repair and theyre excellent. Theyre very professional and they like the Viking brand. We also got undercounter wine coolers from Viking and theyre a good product too and theyre very nice.

The Viking is not a minute fraction of what I think it should have been and expected. The customer service is absolutely miserable, had multiple problems from the start, and buying from Pacific In Store at Best Buy was a HUGE mistake. The Viking Experience which I literally looked forward to for YEARS is a massive let-down. The only positive is, I LEARNED and since I am selling my house and moving to Iowa I get to buy a high end range all over again and have it NOT be Viking! Like a nice WOLF, Thermador or Capitol. Viking can get **.

When my range came there were some scratches on it and we’re having issues on getting a new one out. They keep saying they’re gonna order in the part, which they do. But then the part looks worse than the range when it was delivered. I wish they could package it differently, so that when it comes it’s better off. I tried calling Viking’s 1-800 number but they weren’t very helpful with it. The only person that’s helpful is the appliance guy that comes in and he’s been ordering the parts.

We purchased a VCRB536 Refridgerator and separate matching freezer for a kitchen remodel. Our Subzero 532 was operating perfectly although it was over 20 years old. The Viking door hinge spring broke, maybe $ 1000 to replace a $ 10 spring. Warranty coverage was denied. Now, the door bins are falling apart. Nothing heavy in them, but the ALL METAL door bins have plastic end caps that are cracking. Now I need to be careful the door doesnt fall off, but also watch the bins and contents falling when I open the door. Im very disappointing in this product and lack of support.
