We spent $2000.00 on a new refrigerator, The Gallery. The ice maker on the outside AND the inside freezer doesnt work. The freezer door handle fell off after two months. Customer Service NEVER followed thru on their service calls, then told me we were considered too rural so they would not come to fix it. They gave me an out of service phone number for someone who would supposedly come fix it. We tried to just fix the ice maker ourselves, to no avail. I finally called them again, only to be put on hold for over 30 minutes. I got thru to someone who PROMISED a phone call back in three business days. That was last week. Still no response. NEVER will I buy from Frigidaire again! They should be ashamed of how they treat people!

Bought a refrigerator from Frigidaire, only had the product since June 5, 2019. Here it is July 26, 2019 and I find rust on the front doors of the product. I called and get told that “rust isn’t covered under warranty”, are you freaking kidding me!!!! Well, looks like I’ll never buy Frigidaire products again. By the way, since when does stainless steel rust in the first place???? Sounds like some shady BS going on..

I have been trying to contact Frigidaire about a problem with the ice maker in my less than one year old really expensive French door refrigerator. I have never gotten anyone on the phone. I finally got the company, Lowes, to send someone out to look at the fridge. They contacted Frigidaire and they said they wouldnt fix it and that its working properly. Im in tears over spending $2,000 on an appliance that is crap from a company that is cheap and wont answer their phone. I have no idea what to do at this point.

As with another review, I also tried not to give any stars but was unable to. I purchased both a Frigidaire fridge and dishwasher in May 2011. I hadnt even had the fridge 3 months before experiencing problems. The food in the bottom tray of the fridge kept freezing and the ice dispenser would not dispense ice. I was provided with three services companies which I could contact according to Frigidaire since the product was under warranty. I scheduled my first appointment, just to have the service man inform me that Frigidaire has been having many issues with this fridge and he didnt have the part that was needed and would need to come back. He came back and installed the correct part, so the fridge would dispense ice but yet the food in the bottom tray was still freezing. A few months later the fridge stopped dispensing ice again.I called and made another appointment, just to have the service man come out and say I see what its doing and when I run all the tests it is passing, but I need to call the manufacturer and they are closed. Having to schedule another appointment which I did, just to have the same thing happen again!! This has been an ongoing issue for about 5-6 months now. All of a sudden the dishwasher is now falling apart as well. I have asked numerous times for a refund and have been told unless you have had three services and them manufacturer deems the product un-repairable, we cannot offer you a refund. In such an economy when people have to work to pay for appliances costing $2000 they expect people to work around their schedule, because it seems like they are never open. I will never purchase another appliance from this manufacturer ever again. I would much rather pay a little bit more if I had to just to avoid the headaches and excuses I have had to deal with.

I will say this. Dont buy. We remodel last year and looked at reviews for the gallery appliance. All three had good review and the only appliance that has not been repaired is the stove. The French door with bottom freezer refrigerator has been repaired twice and now is broken again. Bottom door does not close right after it has been fixed before. Now the water dispenser does not work. Both ice makers had to be fixed. Now on to the dishwasher. It is the $600 piece of crap that has been sitting in my kitchen that does not work. You turn it on and it floods the floor. How many times has it been fixed in one year do you ask? 4 times. Is it fixed? NO. You call Frigidaire to fix. They call a crappy repair company which there is only one in my area and 3 weeks later he calls to set up an appointment. The last scheduled repair was in December 2014 and it is now May 2015 - still not fixed, still calling and nothing. But Frigidaire keeps calling and emailing me to buy extended warranty on freaking broken appliances they never got fixed. Buy another product from someone else because this company does not care.

I love my new Frigidaire range. It's simple and easy to use. The coil elements heat up quickly. The bottom element in the oven has a cover so the heat is more even and no hot spots. I love the fan in the back, it keeps oven temperature even and cooks the food more quickly. It's easy to clean and I like the digital clock and timer. It's pretty simple, pretty basic and works well!

Have a two year old Frigidaire dishwasher that stopped working. After speaking to a Frigidaire representative I finally found (or so I thought) the problem. I asked and was assured that the part I needed to order was returnable. After receiving and installing the part it still did not work. Now Frigidaire tells me the part is not returnable. I wont be purchasing anymore Frigidaire or associated products.

I have a warranty on my washer and dryer (purchased new 3 years ago). The washing machine recently stopped working so I called Frigidaire to utilize my warranty coverage. They dispensed a company called ABCO to my home on 7-9-16. The technician was nice and advised he would be getting the part within 3 days (M-W). I never heard back from them. I left a total of 4 messages with the last one last night (7-19-16). The receptionist or maybe temporary worker was extremely rude, very unprofessional, and had the vocabulary of an uneducated child. She argued she did not receive any messages. Perhaps she did not hit play on the answering machine (yes, answering machine). After arguing, I called Frigidaire to advise their sub was useless and I wanted them nowhere near my home. I now have a new company coming 7-25 and I hope they can do what ABCO could not.

I purchased a freezer in 2015 and in 2018 the compressor died. Called the company. They could only give me canned answers with no emotion. When I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager (I think it was the same person back on the line) I was finally able to get 50% off the part only. They would not stand behind a 3 year old product. That in itself tells you something. Not only did I have to pay $100 to find out the freezers compressor was bad but I lost over $800 worth of food that spoiled. Never again will I purchase a Frigidaire product. I paid $125.00 more than I paid for the Frigidaire in 2015 and got a Maytag with a 10 year guarantee on the compressor. Be very careful before you purchase a product made by this company.

The controls technically simple, which translates to ease of maintenance and repair if necessary, the unit has enough capacity for three to four people. It performs quietly, and this allows you to run it late at night if you leave in a condo. It is pleasing to the eye, and it fits in the same slot where our old unit was installed, so it took about twenty minutes to replace.

I purchased a front loading Frigidaire washing machine approximately 18 months ago. It came with a one year warranty. Several weeks ago it ceased spinning properly and then not at all. The repairs cost me $348 on a machine that had cost approximately $600 new. It has had no heavy use in the intervening period. I see online that this problem is not uncommon and recommend that anyone considering buying Frigidaire appliances think twice before doing so.

I bought a new house 2 years ago with a kitchen full of Frigidaire Professional Series appliances. Recently the oven convection fan started to sound like an aircraft engine. The entire fan assembly had been replaced along with the motor; it now only sounds like a semi truck in my kitchen. The repair tech called Frigidaire from my house and was told that is the way it is so shell have to live with it. This is the third appliance that has been problematic. The gas range burners still dont work properly, after 3 attempts to repair. After only one year, I replaced the dishwasher with a Bosch, which I love. There will never be another Frigidaire appliance in my house.

I purchased a Frigidaire Professional double wall oven (model FPET3085KFA, serial number NF93005455) in August 2009. Over the next 4 years I have had to have it fixed 3 times for a total cost of $941. The following parts went bad: 1) Top blower (part 318073028) and thermal fuse (part 318004902); 2) Burned up heating element plug and relay circuit board (part 316443911); 3) top oven bottom heating element (part 318604604). This oven gets normal residential use only, approximately 1 hr of use per day.

The 24-inch gas wall ovens are not displayed in stores. So, I made my purchase online from Airport Home Appliances. The difference in the appearance of the oven online and in person was as different as night and day. The oven sits too far off the cabinet. Which did not show online. There’s no frame around the oven, so it looks unfinished. The interior of the oven sides, door and gauges were not even. The bottom drawer was uneven, flimsy, and the parts inside were bent and didnt close completely. Airport Home Appliance agreed regarding the defective/damaged oven and ordered a replacement. Unfortunately, the 2nd oven had the same issues. They did remove the oven from my home. I paid $1699.00 for this oven, not including taxes and installation. Airport Appliances have told me it was manufactured that way and can’t promise me a refund. The oven was removed from my home. So now I have no oven and missing $2000.00.

I bought the Professional line of Frigidaire products in February 2012. They are poorly constructed. The seal around the door shredded apart; it had to be replaced. When you push the ice button, the ice doesnt stop coming out when you take the cup away, and the ice ends up on the floor. The ice maker is very loud. When you pull out the vegetable bin on the bottom, it hits the door. The cooktop is made with poor quality stainless steel and scratches easily. I use a soft sponge or paper towel and it scratches. The center high boil burner shuts down when you try to lower the flame. The dishwasher doesnt work too well either. The dishes are always wet and sometimes not clean. The door is very flimsy. The wall oven is terrible. When the heat is at 400 degrees, smoke comes out of it. I hope it doesnt cause a fire. What I didnt know when I bought the products is that they subcontract repairs to an appliance repair place. They do not have their own servicemen. Consequences are that I am stuck with these awful products. This is garbage and shame on Frigidaire for selling this product. Dont buy it.

In 2012, I purchased all Frigidaire appliances (Refrigerator, Oven, Dishwasher and Microwave). I also purchased the Extended Service Agreement and renewed with an expiration date of 3/27/2020 on all the appliances. In November 2017 I noticed a crack on the door of the microwave located at the bottom of the handle. This is probably due to the design of opening and closing. The microwave is Model #FFMV162LW Serial Number KH12401883. Purchase date 9/5/2012 ($199.00). The extended service contract #[protected] (spent $163.93 on this service). When I contacted the 800# to report this, I was told it is not covered, because it is not part of functionality. I have read over the contract. Nowhere does it mention the door not being a significant part of the functionality; it does need to be closed to function. The contract does not mention at all that the door is not part of the extended service.I then went on the Chat Line to further submit my frustration of all the expense I put in to all these extended services I purchased on all the appliances, not to have Frigidaire back up their products and services. These will be the last Frigidaire items I will purchase when I am in need of future products. **Answer received: I appreciated reading you complaint. Im quite heavily involved with the industry and think I might be able to shed some light on the subject. The issue youre referencing is a problem of physical damage versus that of electronic/mechanical problems. Physical damage is something most extended service guarantees do not cover; for example, closing the door too hard and cracking the door. This makes sense whereas theres no way to determine how the crack really occurred. For what its worth, I own several Frigidaire appliances and dont hesitate to recommend them. Admittedly I prefer the Gallery and Professional lines as compared to that of the basic Frigidaire series, but if one knows the line fairly well, they can become a great value. Hopefully this helps clarify the issue.**I replied with: Sorry Shaun, but this seems to be a standard reply you are giving many of the complaints posted here. I still stand by my statement that I will not purchase any more Frigidaire items. After the several conversations with Frigidaire, there has not been one single reply. I asked if all my methods of contact (phone and live chat) had been recorded, to which I was informed they were as I suggested upper management review. When one receives mailers saying you are best to purchase a service agreement (kind of an extended warranty) that pretty much costs more than the unit itself, you are believing the Company will address the problem. In this case, me, the customer, was not satisfied with three issues; 1) Product flaw 2) Misleading extra coverage 3) Level of caring from Company.

First of all. How the hell does this company have so many stars when every review on here is horrible?? I bought a Frigidaire dishwasher from Lowe’s and I’m going on over 3 months waiting on a part to fix my BRAND NEW dishwasher. Service technician said I need three or four parts for my brand new dishwasher. I have now had a dishwasher Since September 23rd and have never been able to use it. I have spent hours on the phone with these horrible customer service people who do absolutely nothing help and get and attitude when I explain how ridiculous it is to be waiting over three months for a part for my new dishwasher. Also I called Lowe’s who said I simply need to get a Return Authorization Number from them am they will take the dishwasher back. Frigidaire want me to give them time to see if they can find the part before they will give me the number. Is 3 month not giving them time? I was told today the part is on backorder and they have absolutely no clue when the part will be available. What kind of customer service is that? No ETA. Just sit around for a few months and somebody might make the part I need one day.

Grab a bag of popcorn and get ready... I bought the dishwasher, back in March 2016 from the local Home Depot store for my remodeled kitchen. The unit worked perfect for the first 10 to 11 months. Note, I dont have any kids and the unit did get used a lot. Maybe 2 times a month. Around Jan/Feb 2017 the unit began to leak from under the door. I called the company & explained to them in detail the problem. They set me up with a 3rd party service repairman (contracted out) by their choice. This guy arrives a week later. He had to be about 80 some years old. I had to help him off the floor, as he couldnt get up on his own. He told me he thought he knew what the problem was, would order a part, & get back to me. About 2 weeks went by and never heard from this guy, at least to update me. I called him & politely left him a few messages, and he never returned my calls. I called Frigidaire and told them the same. They called the repair guy and got back to me & said he was backed up with other customers. I told Frigidaire, thats no excuse not to at least return my calls. I asked for another service company and they agreed, but it wasnt easy. The other service company came a week later. It took this service company a total of 6 visits over 2 to 3 months to try and diagnose the problem at which by the 3rd visit the service repairman said, this unit is unrepairable but Frigidaire is going to make me try and do everything possible before a replacement, thats how shady they are. At the 5th visit while the repairman was trying to fix the unit, he had Frigidaire Corporate Repair Center on speaker phone. They suggested to the repairman (as I overheard the conversation) that to go ahead and find parts from a different model or dishwasher company and start replacing the customers dishwasher parts with them. I started to flip. The repairman said we are not going that route. Thats like taking parts of a 1990 junk car and putting them on a 2017 Caddy. LMFAO. So just think what kind of replacement appliances Frigidaire sends to customers. HMMM. OBVIOUSLY NOT BRAND NEW ONES.Finally, after the 6th service call Frigidaire replaced the unit on May 12, 2017. It arrived and was set up. It worked for the first few hours/day. The next morning I got up and ran a cycle following the directions precisely. Guess what? It leaked. LMFAO. I called the company back told them about the problem. The company was really rude and ignorant on the phone with me. I told them I dont have time for another 6 service calls with my job, etc. Furthermore, I dont want a replacement unit, just my money back as the unit was nearly $675. I told them I wanted to take my business elsewhere. A day later, another corporate bigwig called me and said we will deliver you a 3rd unit without repairing the 2nd one. I thought, well, Ill hope for the best, even though this is not what I wanted. A week after Memorial Day my 3rd unit arrives. It was set up by their 3rd party contractor. They turned it on and BAM, the piece of junk malfunctioned and started to leak. The 3rd party company assured me it was not on my end as far as plumbing, etc, as I already had all this looked at. The 3rd party company (who Frigidaire pays) educated me, the consumer, that they are taking my 2nd unit and leaving the 3rd unit at my house and on the paper statement writing 3rd unit set up properly, malfunctioning/leaking. The 3rd party company told me to contact Frigidaire for further instructions on what to do with the unit on how to get refund/replacement. I called Frigidaire and explained the same to them and they were nasty on the phone to me, stating it was all my fault for signing for it and now they have to go ahead with scheduling repairs. I told them NO REPAIRS. I told them come get the junk unit and give me a refund, but they REFUSE to agree with the CUSTOMER and keeping saying on the phone I understand your frustration. I tell them they are a bunch of clowns trained to say that, because if they were in my shoes they wouldnt be saying that. Their final sentence to me was, when you are ready for the repairs call us back. Then those ** hung up. Doesnt make sense how the 2nd unit was replaced without any repairs but now they want to go ahead and make repairs to the 3rd one? What a bunch of ass clowns.I am now working with my local Home Depot. A nice manager is working on the case for me. He is going to work with vendor and submit a claim for the lemon law. I should hear back within the next day or two. I told Home Depot I will gladly keep my $675 within the store if I can just bring the stupid junk unit back and get a different brand/unit not Frigidaire product. The manager agrees I have been thru way too much. Frigidaire customer service is absolutely horrible and sucks. They are the most ignorant people I have ever dealt with my life. I have seen and heard dogs at a local SPCA get treated better than this company treats humans, its disgusting. Think long and hard before committing and buying any of these products because in the long run it just isnt worth it!

Remodeled my kitchen less than 3 years ago purchasing all new appliances, range, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave oven, all purchased, delivered and installed on the same day. About 3 months ago I started having trouble with dishwasher whereas all lights on panel lit up and would not go off. Followed instructions to reset same result an error code stating that the control board was bad, mind you weve only used this dishwasher roughly 12 times since purchase or 4 times a year during holidays. I have posted complaints and placed phone calls with zero response. The holidays are here and I am unable to use my dishwasher which just makes it an unusable brick in my kitchen. Additionally my refrigerator is not working properly either. It wont hold temperature, the filter leaks and seems to ice up everything. Ive reset a number of times after which is the only time it works properly for a few days then back to chaos freezing everything on both sides. Im really hoping planned obsolescence lasts longer than 2.5 years. In the meantime, I dont feel that I should be needing a new dishwasher after only 12 uses of that. Ive also heard there may be a recall on my machine, but I dont know, because no one responds! Can someone please get back to us?

I purchased my product from Best Buy in 2007. I was pleased with the product for the first few months. Over a period of time, I always smelled something burning when I opened the cooler side door, like plastic; but, I was never able to locate where this was coming from. On January 31, 2012, I opened the door for about 15 minutes to clean out the product and kept smelling burning plastic. I looked up and was in awe at what I found. The (original) light bulb, that rest on the ceiling of the refrigerator (fridge), had burned right into the lining of the ceiling. At that time, I realized this is a faulty product; this product should not be in any home. I have a repair man come out and view the fridge, and he stated this shouldnt be in my home because, this could potentially cause a fire and burn my house down, leaving my family homeless!I went to http://www.frigidaire.com/contactus and filed a complaint through email; the response that I received was a standard response any company would use to not accept responsibility and place the blame on the customer, who bought the product. The response was as follows: Thank you for contacting Frigidaire. We sincerely regret you have experienced difficulties with your refrigerator. Frigidaire provides very comprehensive warranties with each product to guard against any parts that may be defective at the time of manufacture. However, we are sure you can appreciate that a point is eventually reached when the manufacturers responsibility for repairs under the initial warranty must end.Our experience has shown that an original defect in material or workmanship will develop very early in the life of the appliance. After a reasonable period of service, many factors beyond the control of the manufacturer may affect any product. The problem experienced is almost always due to the door being left open for inordinate periods of time or from replacing the bulb with a wattage too high for an appliance application. There is a liner repair kit available that an authorized Frigidaire service provider can install that will repair the damage. Please choose from among the following authorized Frigidaire service providers that serve your area: Major Brands Appliance Service, LLC / Newton, IA / 50208-3226 / (641)831-3840 Appliance Service Center / Des Moines, IA / 50315-5072 / (515)256-3090American TV Appliance Service / Madison, WI / 53713-2346 / (800)854-6659We offer extended service agreements for all customers who register their appliances with us to guard against any unusual problems that may occur outside of warranty beyond usual wear and tear. If you would like to purchase an extended warranty, you may do so after your appliance has been repaired by contacting our Extended Service Agreement Department at 1 (866) 386-5286. Thank you again for contacting Frigidaire, BoThis, is not acceptable. I requested that they repair the default or refund the amount less depreciation, so I am able to purchase a produce that would not place my family in danger. Now, I am filing this claim along with several other regulatory agencies.

We were invited to buy an extended warranty and we did, so we bought 2 years extended warranty, and paid them by CC. 17 months later the board went bad on that range. We called. They sent in a technician, he ordered the part. Ten days later he came and put the part. Everything is well so far then I start receiving calls from the company that fixed the range, they didnt get paid. I called Frigidaire extended warranty and what a surprise they want me to pay $25 more for them to honor the warranty. They said that they didnt charge enough in the beginning of the contract, and the contractor will keep calling me at work and on my cell until I paid them. All my attempts to explain to them that we paid what they want us to pay and that I still have the invoice, to no avail. The contractor was calling sometimes six to seven times a day at work mostly until we paid them the $25. These people acted like the mob, you pay us or else, even we have a contract that paid fully. The way we have been treated is shameful. I will never buy any Frigidaire product ever.

So I bought this stove a year ago, a Frigidaire, but made by Electrolux. It is working fine but there are these little rubber feet on the bottom of the cast iron grates that come off (they stick to the enamel surface of the stove) every time you clean under the grates. So after almost a year and having lost eight feet, I decided to call the company and ask that they replace these small rubber feet. So I spoke to Jasmine with customer service and she said these feet are considered cosmetic and she was sorry I would have to buy new ones. Well okay, how much could they be? They are tiny black rubber nipples. Jasmine tells me I can have 8 of them for $29 and they will even give me some glue so they wont come out when you lift the grates. Are you kidding me?! They will give me glue, something that should have been done at the factory. So I asked Jasmine if I could talk to a supervisor. Well it took 28 minutes waiting on the phone for this supervisor. I know they were hoping I would hang up and just forget about it, but this is crazy, the feet probably cost 5 cents to produce. So charge me fifty cents. That’s $4.00 for 8 feet, Ill do it. The supervisor finally comes on. Her name is Jennifer. She can get me 16 rubber feet for the $29 and she wont charge me shipping. By this time I am fuming but remain polite and tell her I will not pay for something that should have been installed properly in the first place and that I believed this was a scam by the manufacturer. I will not let this rest because I told her these little rubber feet will create thousands of dollars of negative publicity for this greedy company that has no customer service whatsoever. I am not an idiot and I will not be cheated.

It had an energy saving device which helped reduce my summer electric bills. It was easy to operate. The air conditioner produced cold air efficiently for over 20 years. It was very quiet. There was little vibration. The operation of the unit had energy efficiency. In 20 years I only had two service calls to have it repaired and one was simply a freon leak. It was a room air conditioner that fit into the wall. It fit securely and did not detract from the room decor. It came in decorator colors that were neutral so that it blended well with my living room decor. It was very non intrusive. This air conditioner operated efficiently for over 20 years. After I sold the house the new owners were still using it in the humid New England summers. Two service calls in all that time speaks volumes for its reliability.

Reasonably priced and do a fantastic job cleaning and drying. Front load washer and dryer - owned for 5 years and have not had any problems and no service calls. Easy to use and use very minimal amount of water and electricity. Don't like paying a lot of money to purchase a product when there are less expensive models with the same features. Hate leaks in washers in the past. Need long lasting product. Machines are reliable, efficient, money-saving, and do a great job. Frigidaire makes a good machine.

In January/February of 2016 I bought a brand new unit from this despicable company Frigidaire. Keep in mind when I buy a refrigerator I intend for it to last at least 4 to 5 years before it starts to give problems unless there is a natural disaster. Earthquake, storm, etc... in less than 9 moths the fridge light doesnt work. I went to numerous stores to get a light bulb thinking that the light bulb in the fridge blew out. Home Depot, Lowe’s, Orchard, etc… 7 different light bulbs were purchased and tested on the fridge yet none of them worked, I went as far as going back to Lowe’s and getting the light bulb that was used in the model on the floor and tested it, that didnt work either. Later that day I called Frigidaire customer support and got the most rudest, ignorant, discussing person on the phone. While shes babbling on and on about how it is my fault and how the company she works for is sooooo great Im trying to tell her that theres no way in hell that I could have done anything to the fridge if the unit is working and cooling things. I explain to her that is a self defrost fridge and that there are only 2 people in the household. I hung up refusing to get yelled at by someone who won’t listen to anything I have to say. Around 15 min after I had hung up I went to the fridge (with my flashlight) to get some lemonade. As soon as the grub on my right pinky finger touched the fridge door handle it detached from the fridge. I sat there next to the door handle thinking to myself well this is complete madness. The light bulb doesnt work and the fridge handle is not latched correctly. This company really needs to start manufacturing decent unit. Mark my words, NEVER WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THE CRAP FRIGIDAIRE SUPPLIES TO YOU... PS. waiting for my 3rd repair guy to show up on Friday. Let’s see how that goes.

3 appliances (stove, dishwasher, refrigerator) all gallery series. 3 headaches. Motherboard on stove went after 3 months- fixed under warranty. One burner went just before warranty expired-fixed. Dishwasher mother board went after 4 months, had it replaced by the store where I purchased it. Refrigerator ice maker stopped working, had it repaired 3 times. Finally demanded another unit from the store where I purchased it. And now refrigerator control is going haywire at a cost to me of 360.00. Im done.

I have purchased Frigidaire Model FFHT1831QP, Serial BA53635473. It SUCKS!! Had to get the seals replaced. The air chamber is misaligned (water laying on top shelf). Freezer doesnt work. They called it Intermittent Freezing. Yet the place that I purchased it from (though nice) did not offer to replace & I think they could. They are to have someone come out & look at it again. I WANT A NEW ONE! I didnt pay almost 700 dollars to have a brand new refrigerator already need several repairs. Then later when it has more problems Ill have to pay for it. Quite frankly Id love my money back & Id buy a totally different brand. My last refrigerator lasted me around 30 years with NO problems during this time. SO far I am not happy with the place that I purchased the refrigerator from as I believe they could offer to replace it immediately. I am not happy with Frigidaire so far. I will be happiest with a total refund. I would happy with them EASILY offering & providing me with a brand new refrigerator that is not this model/serial number & a better refrig. AS LONG AS IT ACTUALLY WORKS!!! Do NOT buy this model. The one guy that has been fixing these said that hes had calls on this model for these issues also.

We purchased four appliances from Frigidaire when we remodeled our kitchen. We have been a Frigidaire customer for thirty years. These appliances were purchased June 15, 2014. As of today the control panel on the stove died and now the control panel on the dishwasher died. When talking to the rep the only option is to spend another $284 for a extended warranty??? These units are only a little more than a year and a half old. Beware appliance buyers. Never buy Frigidaire appliances. They are junk.

I had my Frigidaire appliances installed 1.5 years ago. I bought the four-appliance deal for $1,700 after rebate. Just recently, my oven just stopped working from one day to the next. I literally used it once about 6 months ago. The control panel just went out. I thought it was off because of a power surge in the neighborhood. But I realized that if that was the case, the clock would have turned back on eventually by itself. But it never did. The gas burners work fine. When I called Frigidaire, they said, Sorry, youre no longer under warranty. I asked them to send a tech out at their expense since the stove was only 2.5 years old and this was obviously a defective appliance. They said no. Whats more upsetting is that I had just thrown out my old stove which I held on to for a while because I was worried about buying new appliances. And boy was I right. They just dont make anything like they used to. My old one was over 10 years old and it worked fine. Frigidaire has terrible quality and I would never purchase it again. Oh and my dishwasher doesnt work right either. Thats about $900 down the drain for those two items. Thanks, Frigidaire! Im not even going to bother trying to fix it. Maybe, I can sell it for parts.

Brand new Frigidaire Gallery Dishwasher that retails in 2021 for $719 went bad after only 3 months in brand new home! After 3 months whole computer motherboard had to be replaced as well as new pump! This was clearly a lemon and it was only under warranty for 1 year. During the 2nd year, continual problems with pump mechanism and computer motherboard that had to be fixed and wasnt cheap. Today I called Frigidaire (03/16/2021) and spoke to agent Ethan 3:40 PM ET who told me there was nothing that could be done by Frigidaire, that Id have to call my own repairman at my expense. This appliance is clearly a lemon. In fact, when the Frigidaire service repairman came to fix the motherboard and pump when it was under warranty, he said hed never buy one! I purchased a Frigidaire upright freezer in July of 2021. By the end of December, the freezer had an indicator light blinking which mean the temperature was dropping inside. I had almost $400 worth of food which was thawing and had to be thrown out. This happened New Years weekend, and I was not able to contact Frigidaire until Tuesday, January 4th, when they reopened from the holidays. They sent a technician immediately out the next day, January 5th, and he noted that 5 different components of the freezer had gone bad and needed to be replaced. He also mentioned that hed had over 20 different calls on the same freezer, which the same issues with the 5 components failing. I called back to Frigidaire on January 5, 2022, and told the representative that five components failing was not a fluke but a defect in the unit. I also noted that this model freezer was discontinued....I wonder why? The representative told me that if they were unable to order the five components within 7 to 10 business days, I could get a refund. No one contacted me and I called back on the 11th business day, which was January 20th. I spoke to both a representative and her supervisor and they told me that I would not receive a refund, but would simply have to wait until they received the backordered parts. I asked her what timeline would be reasonable, and she said she didnt know, I would just have to wait! I demanded a refund, and she refused. She said the only way I would get a refund is if the technician declared the freezer unrepairable, which, clearly they will not do. All the while, I am without a freezer, lost over $400 in food, and the 1 year warranty is ticking away. By the time the unit is repaired, I will then be out of warranty and out of luck not if, but when it breaks down again. All I was offered is $100 in food replacement. I want a refund and want this freezer declared defective.

I purchased all new appliances for our kitchen 3 years ago. We bought the professional series 2 door refrigerator with the bottom freezer, the professional dishwasher, the professional cooktop, the professional double oven and the gallery convection/microwave with the ventless hood.. We have had continual issues with the double oven model number fpet3077rfa. Initial install the motherboard and fans burned and almost caught our house on fire. Then we used the self cleaning mode a few months later and the upper oven had several failures and took over 2 months to get it properly repaired. Now both ovens do not cook food evenly. The back half will be burned and the front half will not be fully cooked. Two weeks ago our convection/microwave model number fgmv154clfa completely stopped working. It is not the breaker and there is power to the unit. We have called a service company but they are two weeks out before they can make it here. Our refrigerator is making strange noises and with all we have had to deal with it is overwhelming. We spent a lot of money getting what we thought was quality, top of the line appliances that would last us 10 years plus and they have been problems since day 1. We will not purchase Frigidaire products again.C.

Purchased a suite of Frigidaire products in May 1014 - fridge, range, microwave and dishwater. From the beginning I had problems with the fridge. The freezer frosted over and was icy. I called a repair company and was told the gasket had to be replaced (on a new fridge???) and had to be ordered. I waited a couple of weeks and after numerous calls was told the part (gasket) was on back order. What does that mean??? I was told to call Frigidaire and did so. What a runaround. They told me I would have to wait for the part which may be in Aug. 4th. Asked to speak to a supervisor who told me they could only give me a ETA on when it would be available and I would have to wait. Wait to fix a broken fridge that I only had a couple of months. I complained. I wanted it replaced and they said they DO NOT REPLACE only repair. They specified they were not refusing to fix, but I would have to wait for the part which would hopefully be in this year (exaggeration). This is deplorable conduct. I have to suffer with a broken freezer until the part becomes available. I never heard of such a ridiculous answer. I contacted my salesman and he is getting in touch with their rep. I have read so many complaints about this company that I think I will have to get rid of this fridge and take the loss. Frigidaire, you are on my you know what list.

After 9 months of frustration and three failed attempts to repair our fridge, Frigidaire replaced our unit with an identical unit. I had to request a supervisor multiple times, but the supervisor was understanding. Immediately when we plugged in the replacement we noticed a difference in the operation making even clearer that our initial unit was a lemon. I also complained on Electrolux and Frigidaires Facebook pages and they sent a $100 gift card to help cover food spoilage. Lowes protection plan also covered $130 for food loss. Since Frigidaire did give us a warranty replacement I updated my rating to 3 stars from 1, but since the process and experience were not what I expected from spending hard earned money we will not be buying another Frigidaire or Electrolux product.

18 months ago we purchased a Kenmore Laundry center, model 970L97422F0, that was made Frigidaire. The washer DOES NOT fill with enough water to do the cleaning. More often than not there are dry spots. We had the repairman out twice and his only solution for the problem was to add a pail of water before starting the machine, so to trick it to think that the weight was more. Also it is the nosiest washer we have ever owned!! It sounds like a cement mixer when it is running. Phone calls to Sears and Frigidaire go unanswered. The last email I sent to them, over two weeks ago, only received an automatic response saying someone would be back to me within 24 hours - you guessed it, they didnt reply.

We purchased a new house and we were thrilled to have all new Frigidaire Professional Appliances installed. We immediately had problems with our refrigerator. The seals in both doors are still not working properly after having been replaced. It has randomly stopped working for no apparent reason. We have had a door replaced on it (as it was dented upon arrival). I have asked for a replacement as it is not reliable but because it is still under warranty they will not replace the unit, just continue to try and fix it. Our dishwasher has also needed replacement parts (we have been in this house around 6 months now) as it was not heating properly. The latch on our microwave was not working so when the service company went to replace it, they broke off some plastic parts and currently it does not work at all. Three appliances all with problems within the first 6 months. I have been a homeowner for years and never had such challenges or problems in the past.

I have had my range nearly a year. FFEF3051TBC model number and serial number VF73535062. I have had this range for almost a year and the door falls off constantly until it stripes out. 2 small bolts holds the whole door together. I put it back on the first 7 times until it stripped and had to be replaced and took a month and a half to get parts and them to fix it. Worked for almost a month and same things now happened. I put it on 6 times until it stripped out again now and had to order parts again. Was 5 to 6 weeks again before it was fixed. Work for almost 5 weeks. Now it is broke again about 4 weeks before Thanksgiving and now it’s Tues. And Thanksgiving is Thursday, family coming in and I can’t cook dinner. I have called corporate office many many times they say they have to fix it and only replace if the heat measured isn’t good. Well I have been without the range for 3 months and growing and while it is torn up I am sure it’s not heating right. The bottom is burned and top of food not done. I would never recommend this product to anyone. They try to put it off and off until warranty runs out. I have a new house with a new stove I can hardly use grrr. SO UPSET. After a year the black paint in the back started coming off despite my best efforts to be careful. The back should be porcelain so it can be scrubbed. Paint just sucks. The burners dont even come close to heating evenly. Its really bad! If youre lucky and have a really old stove, keep it. None of the modern stoves seem fit for heavy use. We bought the set in 2011 and I sat down and read the book with the washer and dryer from cover to cover. My husband laughed at me but found out heavy clothes on the bottom, lighter clothes on the top, has a clean cycle you do once a month. Doesn't show on the panel of the washer but tells you in the book how to access it. Mine is in a basement and has never had a bad odor or any mechanical problem in 3 years. Uses very little water and clothes come out clean and smell great. I open the door when done and pull out the soap and bleach dispenser tray when not in use. My sister says her cleaning woman works for others and has had every front loader break down often. I maintain it's how we treat them. If you load them all carelessly, it makes them off balance and will cause damage. Will buy another set if these ever quit on me.

First issue at 3 mths- screws were not tightened from the factory inside the dryer properly which came loose and fell inside the unit causing the heating element to seize. Belt was replaced, but technician replaced a motor control sensor on washer which did not fix the problem. Frigidaire will not yet replace our unit and is ordering 5 MORE PARTS to fix the washer!!I have asked multiple times if we can have a replacement unit since the machine is intrinsically faulty! And I am told that there will be no placement of our unit until the TECH dept deems it unrepairable, which the technician that worked on the unit is saying that he feels its unrepairable. This has taken 6 weeks now and Im still without a washer! Not to mention the trips to the laundromat, the time off of work I have taken to be home for the repairman. I’m posting my review to warn others. Frigidaire refused to post my review bc it may steer customers “away”. Ridiculous. My husband and I saved up for 10 years to do our kitchen remodel. We used the Frigidaire Pro Line for all of our appliances. I have never been more disappointed with a refrigerator. I chose this model because of the smudge proof finish. This is biggest mistake we made for our entire renovation! This fridge accepts magnets and so naturally we excitedly hung up our children’s artwork. In less than two weeks (after removing the artwork to dust the fridge face) I discovered that the ENTIRE front of it was scratched with fine scratches from the magnets. I am just sick over this! Nowhere in the manual does it say NOT to use magnets on the surface. Since it accepted magnets in the first place, we assumed that was considered normal and acceptable use of the fridge. The magnets I used were brand new and not rough! The surface of this unit is ridiculously easy to scratch! Had I have known this fact, I would have NEVER chosen this fridge. It was a giant purchase for us and now I have to live with it ugly and ruined. Also, I’m now embarrassed to show people my new kitchen because of it. My kitchen looks like “new kitchen, but old fridge”. The worst part for me is I didn’t even get to enjoy having what I thought would be the refrigerator of my dreams. It was ruined before I even got a chance to enjoy it. And now I can’t even enjoy my kitchen remodel that we waited years for, YEARS!Please do not waste your money like we did. Buy a regular stainless steel refrigerator instead and just get used to wiping off fingerprints, because at least they come off! My previous regular stainless steel fridge was over 10 years old and barely had a scratch on it. In comparison this expensive “pro” fridge can’t even operate in the simplest of function, to hold up a calendar and children’s artwork on the front of it, without becoming damaged.

I purchased my Frigidaire Professional appliances for a kitchen remodel in January of 2015. The appliances Sat in my garage (in its factory box) until our remodel was done, so we started using them in mid Feb. 2015. The refrigerator ice maker started making a slight noise around Christmas of 2015 and has progressed into a horribly loud noise in January of 2016. Today I called Frigidaire to complain, they offered to sell me an extended warranty for another $450.00... I told them No thanks. I would use a portion of the $450 to hire someone to come work on their product. You know, I dont mind paying extra for a good product. That is what I thought we had done, but Frigidaire proved me wrong today! This refrigerator cost $1800 - and I did not even get a solid year out of it before problems started. Now I find they refuse to stand behind their product. This was my first Frigidaire product and it will absolutely be my last! Thanks for nothing Frigidaire.

Very quiet. Does excellent job of cleaning dishes without rinsing them first. Cleaning cycle is shorter than most other brands. Has 6 different wash cycles and 4 different drying cycles. The silverware tray is easy to fill and keeps them separated. Very reliable. It's approximately 10 years old and never had service on it.

What a piece of JUNK. I would never buy another Frigidaire product. Never worked. 20.4 CU unit wont cool, ice melts, freezer food defrosts. 12 service calls and still does not work and Frigidaire wont replace. They have some lady reading from the same script every time I call. They will only replace when the repair man tells them the unit is not repairable. BrandsMart said I was outside their service area. Now my problem. People who buy anything from these scammers deserve what they get. I would have gotten more satisfaction throwing $1200 dollars into a crowd of strangers.

I purchased a home that had all new appliances including a Frigidaire stain
I purchased a home that had all new appliances including a Frigidaire stainless steel refrigerator (Model FFTR1821QS), manufactured in April, 2015. Within 2 weeks of moving in, on 10/23/15, the refrigerator started making a loud groaning and clunking noise and was no longer cooling. Called Frigidaire and they scheduled a service call for over a week out with one of their contracted companies. The guy came out and determined that there were 3 parts that needed to be replaced, all of which were on backorder, so they likely wouldnt be available for weeks. I called Frigidaire again to figure out some kind of resolution and get a more accurate timeline for when the parts would be in and when the repair could be completed. They were not able to give me a timeline other than one of the parts needed is expected to arrive 1 week from today.I have now been without a refrigerator for 1 week and AT MINIMUM expecting to be without for another week, most likely much longer since the other 2 parts do not have an estimated arrival date at all. The person in the parts administration department was unable to do anything further and abdicated responsibility to the customer service department. When I called Customer Service, I expressed by frustration and stated that having to wait 3-4 weeks or more without a refrigerator is completely unacceptable. After being on hold for a while, the person came back and offered me 6 months of additional extended warranty on the refrigerator which does absolutely nothing for me today. I asked for the brand new refrigerator to be replaced or to be given some kind of compensation because it was obviously a defective model if this level of problems were happening so soon.I was told that a repair and offer of additional extended warranty was all that could be done. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was connected to Danielle, corporate manager, who gave me the same lines the other person did. I asked for a replacement or some other kind of compensation again and was told that the manufacturer warranty only covers parts and labor and not replacement and that Danielle, herself, would research the parts that are needed (for the 3rd or 4th time... apparently that should give me some kind of solace that another person will do the same thing that has already been done) and will give me a call next week with an update. If the parts arent there, they arent there.Theres nothing than can be done to expedite that process. I asked to speak with her supervisor and she refused to transfer me to anyone else. It is absolutely ridiculous how little regard Frigidaire has for their customers and their experience with their products. I will never purchase a Frigidaire product and will recommend that anyone I know steer clear of them as well.

Purchased the fridge in May 2016 model # FFTR1821QW. Within a month it started making all kinds of noises. It was under warranty so Frigidaire sent someone out to look at the problem. They said it was a fan motor making the noise and replaced it. No sooner than a day later, the same noise, called again. Sent someone out, said they didnt know where the noise was coming from. Called again, sent someone else out who stated there have been several people calling in with the noises that are coming from the product and theres nothing that can be done. It sounds like someone is knocking at all hours of the day and night plus a crap-load of different sounds. Frigidaire says it normal for all these noises and they sent me a form letter of all the noises this could make. Frigidaire says all these noises are listed in the Owners Manual. DONT YOU GET THE OWNERS MANUAL WHEN YOU ACTUALLY OWN THE ITEM?Do not buy this product. The noises are loud, obnoxious knocking constantly. Every day they keep getting noisier and noisier. $500+ may not be a lot of money for a company like Frigidaire, but to its consumers its a lot of money to spend on a crappy fridge. I guess thats one way to make you buy a warranty, because you know its gonna break down at some point.

I upgraded my kitchen with a new 4 piece silver, grey mist Frigidaire appliances. I was told that Frigidaire was the best. My previous appliance was Frigidaire. I had no problem with them. My refrigerator broke within a 1.5 years. I was awaken by my smoke detector @ 4:30 am on 10/11/14. My kitchen was completely filled with smoke and a burning smell. After searching for what was burning, I saw smoke coming from the back of my fridge; so scary. I have NEVER had a problem with a NEW appliance before this issue. Called Frigidaire and was given no sympathy or empathy. I was told it no longer under warranty and that I should purchase an extended warranty after I have the problem fixed. The parts on my American made appliances were shown as made in Mexico. Very Strange. I could not see paying $1000s for appliances then paying $800 to get a NEW appliance fixed. My heart was broken. After 2 weeks with no fridge, they agreed to pay for the parts, but the labor and service call was well over $300. Frigidaire need to work on their Customer Service Dept. I was hung up on several times, after being on hold for 30 minutes, my call was placed back into the cue, I was given misinformation, the list goes on and on. I just cant believe a company that I thought was so upstanding, turned out to be very disgraceful. I can no longer tell my friends and family to purchase any Frigidaire appliances. Yes, it looks great, but thats about it. :-( I have receipts, documentation, names and dates to back up every thing I have said, which is entirely true.

Back in August 25th, 2006 I purchased 3 Frigidaire products: stainless burner gas cooktop, a double gas wall oven and an over-the-range microwave oven from AjMadison. Out of the 3 two are broken or dont function properly. I had my entire downstairs, which included the kitchen completely, remodeled. In 2007 all the new appliances were installed. I started having problems almost right away with the microwave. The hinges started to get really loose to the point of not being able to use it unless we held the door shut. Then the exhaust fan started coming on at will. We had to literally have to unplug the exhaust fan cord. A repairman came out and we thought he had fixed the problem but shortly after that every time we use the microwave it sounds like its about to exploded. The noise is that loud. Now our gas double oven door hinges broke. We had two repairmen at different times that tried to fix the hinges but it can not be fixed or replaced. The whole oven unit has to be replaced because this stupid oven is a one piece unit. I contacted Frigidaire and they said that there is nothing that they can or will do about it because they are no under warranty anymore and that I should have purchased an extended warranty. How dare them! A person should not have to purchase anything extra not unless they want to not have to so that these cheaply made appliances will be covered for some repairs. This company has known for a very, very long time that most of their appliances have serious problems. I refuse to pay for the items I already paid for once. Im sorry, I wont cut the mustard with me. Im very upset and something needs to be done about this on-going problem; otherwise, more people like us will get taken to the bank. We are retired people. I should be enjoying my retirement rather than trying to figure out how Im supposed to pay to replace these things. My question to all of you who are going through these problems with me is what are we going to do about it? I want to file a class action lawsuit. Are you with me or not?

This may come as a surprise to many people, but Frigidaire is NOT part of General Motors. In 1979, General Motors sold the Frigidaire line to White Consolidated Industries (WCI). Less than a decade later, in 1986, the Swedish company Electrolux purchased WCI. Today, ELECTROLUX REMAINS THE OWNER OF the FRIGIDAIRE group. So while Electrolux might have been good at making vacuum cleaners, they apparently have problems with larger appliances. I noticed an another post that somebody mentioned American made in reference to his refrigerator. I am not sure if this applies to everything with the Electrolux/Frigidaire label, but mine is clearly labeled Made in Mexico.

I have never been so disappointed and angry over a purchase. I recently built my dream home and was very excited. All my appliances are Frigidaire and had always thought it was a solid product. My one yr warranty had come to an end this past May. For several weeks now my dishwasher had not been getting the dishes clean but it would work well enough when run on heavy mode. I do not use it that often so it was more of a bother than anything until I noticed several pieces of wood flooring popping up and realized I had a leak of sorts. The builder came to take a look and we saw that water was pouring out from under the dishwasher. There was mold growing. As luck would have it my ice maker in my Frigidaire freezer stopped working as well. I called Frigidaire and was told I would have to pay for the repairs myself as it 6 months out of warranty. I have such concerns as all my other appliances are made by Frigidaire as well. So now not only are my relatively new appliances not working but I have damage to my new home. All of which I have to pay for because this company did not make a quality product. It is just myself and my daughter who is 7 that live in my home so how much wear and tear can 2 people do in a little over a year. My builder who is one of the largest in this area in NC was disgusted as well by the response from Frigidaire and told me its not the first time he has heard this and will no longer be recommending using them in the homes he builds as he wants to keep his reputation of quality homes. I can only tell people I know to NOT buy products by this company and if you do dont expect them to do the right thing. I had a Kenmore for over 15 years without any problems and I will be replacing my Frigidaire. I understand that things break but when something is so new and has very little wear and tear it is robbery. Now I am left with the repair cost of both as well as the cost of the damage to my new home.

We bought a Gallery Frigidaire refrigerator in May 2016, within a week we knew it was not working properly. After at least 10 service call by Judd & Black a local business our unit was finally replaced by Electrolux. Now 10 months later our new unit does not cool. We are beyond frustrated to say the least. How can a family be expected to take this amount of time off for the service calls and not to mention the amount of food that has been wasted. I purchased a side-by-side refrigerator with front ice dispenser on 5/15/11 for approximately $1200.00.Within a few months the ice dispenser would not dispense ice. I called Frigidaire and they gave me a company to repair which were a no show thrice. I called again and they set me up with a new repair company which to date has been here four times. They have spent about $880 to fix it and replaced everything. I called Frigidaire today to complain and request a new refrigerator as this is obviously unfixable. The representative told me about 6 times they would continue to attempt to fix it and their warranty is very clear that they dont have to replace it and there is no such thing as a lemon law for refrigerators. My concern is that they will ride this out to beyond the year or not correctly repair so that when the year is up I’d be stuck with a bad dispenser. They are sending the same parts they just put on and sending the tech back for the 5th time rather than admit it is a defective fridge and replacing it because under federal law they dont have to, the representative told me several times. In one year I will have no recourse and a bad fridge.

My parents redid our kitchen about 5 years ago. They picked Frigidaire Gallery (microwave/gas stove) Amana fridge. Just over the 5 years we have had to get all appliances fixed, some multiple times. Within two weeks (about a month ago) the Amana fridge stopped cooling, the problem was a clogged tube, easy fix. Then our gas oven would not heat. A GAS OVEN! (had a 50 yr gas oven when we bought house = no problem) Shortly after that, the right front burner needs a new part (sparker). The microwave has broken multiple times. It now doesnt work at all. Overall it has cost about $1,300. I will say it does pay to buy the higher end appliances. For example, the Frigidaire professional dishwasher has had no issues - thus far.

Bought an induction range at Best Buy while remodeling our kitchen. Purchase and delivery experience was wonderful. Because of construction delays it Sat in the living room for several months. When we finally took it out of the box we found that the extended warranty, recommended by many, had to be purchased within 30 days of product purchase. Called them and found we could still get it but had to pay an extra $25. Very disappointing. Asked for a supervisor and was placed on hold for a long time. She was very unsympathetic and steadfast in adhering to company policy. I hope warranty service, if needed, is better.

I bought the gallery series Refrigerator, Range, Dishwasher, Microwave on 11/18/2014. On 7/1/2015 the refrigerator (model# FGHS2655PF) quit working completely. I could not get anyone at customer until the next day and my service appointment was not until 7/6/2015 because they only have one service provider for the whole Cincinnati area. I had to leave work early to meet the repairman, only to have him say he needs to order parts and come back on 7/9/2015. Had to take off work again to meet repairman and to have him tell me he needs more parts and needs to come out again on 7/11/2015 to then tell me he cant fix it after 3 1/2 hours. The whole time that I talked to Frigidaire they did not care that I lost everything in my refrigerator (approx $200) or that I didnt have a refrigerator at all for the last 10 days. They still have to review whether they are even going to replace it. $1000 refrigerator lasted 7 1/2 months? What has happened to FRIGIDAIRE? They used to be the brand I sought out to buy.

Have spent $700.00 dollars for replacing 2 control boards and ice maker motor. Lights now work on screen, ice maker still will not deliver ice even though ice is being made. Might as well be using ice trays. My fridge has not worked since I purchased it in March. It is under warranty and Frigidaire keeps sending people here to look at it. As a result, we had to purchase another fridge (we didnt get another Frigidaire) in the meantime while we worked on replacing this one. The repairman deemed my fridge dead twice and it still wasnt enough for them to replace it. The repairman has been to my house about twice a month since March. As a result, they are now replacing three parts in a brand new fridge to attempt to fix it because yet again, they refuse to replace a brand new fridge even though its under warranty. I have called and left multiple messages on voicemails and have not received a callback. However, in their notes, they have that they called and left me voicemails (which is not true at all). This has been a very frustrating process. The parts to my fridge were suppose to be ordered three weeks ago and when I just called, they were not even ordered yet. Sharon, one of the corp. supervisors, was very helpful and said she would overnight them to repair company. Hopefully, this nightmare ends soon but I am not confident it will. I will never purchase another Frigidaire product again and I dont recommend buying any of their products.

Directly from their site to entice you to buy this warranty are these statements: Enjoy the peace of mind that only Frigidaire can guarantee. No one knows your product better than we do. And no other company is better equipped to provide the specialized parts and service you may need or to replace your product entirely! So invest now in the best possible protection with a Service Contract. And we guarantee to stand behind you and your product for as long as you own your coverage. There was no peace of mind when day after day we didnt know when wed finally have a washer. On the 5th call on 5-15-17 we were told our parts were ordered and again told to contact SoCal Tech. They said they ordered from Marcone and finally gave a tracking number. The replace your product entirely would have been a better option and was part of what was enticing about the warranty, definitely not fulfilled.Up to three full years of freedom from costly repair bills. Whether you choose a one, two, or three year Service Contract, well pay for all covered repairs needed to keep your product in peak operating condition. And that means no surprises to your budget. HUGE surprise to our budget of money and time to have to go to a laundromat which was 14.5 miles away and cost $60 for 20 loads a week for 9 people just to maintain laundry, not even basic bedding and such. A month of no product in peak operating condition.A brand new product, if needed. Its true. Our replacement coverage entitles you to a brand new major appliance with comparable features if yours cant be fixed, or if it simply makes more sense to replace it. Over a month and $1200 to fix a washer we bought for $600 in 2009 would warrant that it simply makes more sense to replace it instead of inconvenience the customer for so long.Convenient, in-home service with a toll-free call, Reliable service is only a phone call away when you own a Frigidaire Service Contract. And the call is always toll-free. True you can call from anywhere but expect to wait and be told to call somewhere else that may not be an actual number like we were given to SoCal Tech. On our 6th call to Frigidaire we talked with Supervisor Tiffany at ** and she apologized and could not do anything or give us any actual contact info for anyone who actually had the power to make this right. She gave us the mailing address for Alan ** who she said was the corporate executive. We have written him a letter.Top-quality repairs by Frigidaire factory-trained experts. You wouldnt want just anyone to service your valuable Frigidaire product. Thats why we use trustworthy professionals who have been trained extensively on Frigidaire models just like yours. True, the quality of the final repair is good, but dont expect answers from the service company SoCal Tech or Frigidaire in the month it takes to get there. Quick access to the correct replacement parts. Forget about inferior parts being used on your product or long, unnecessary waiting for a special component. We maintain an ample supply of quality components designed specifically for your Frigidaire model to ensure we can have it running like new again in no time.Frigidaires idea of no time is definitely different than ours for a family of 9 after a very long, unnecessary waiting of 30 days. Not quick access at all. Our Money-Back Guarantee. If you are ever dissatisfied with the quality of protection you receive, you may have a complete refund of the unused portion of your Service Contract, less claims paid no questions asked. Of course there is nothing left to refund after such a costly repair. Our goal is to keep you a satisfied customer for life. So well do everything we can to make certain you are thrilled with your product and our services. Call 1-866-386-5286 today to take advantage of this exceptional offer. Both refrigerator and gas range were delivered April 2018. Refrigerator: By the end of June 2018 I had a warning that the water/refrigerator filters had to be replaced. I was told the filters were good for 6 months!!! Therefore I called Frigidaire dealers in my area to place an order the end of June/1st week July 2018... All of the dealers were out of the filters. Therefore I called Frigidaire. I was told the filters would not be available until October 15th 2018. NOW I HAVE PAID EXTRA MONEY FOR FEATURES ON THIS EXPENSIVE REFRIGERATOR THAT I CANNOT USE. To make a long story short I called Frigidaire for the rest of the year of 2018... In December before Christmas I was told the product would be in and I could pay for the order upfront. I did not received the filters until February 2019. Then, the frame that holds the drawer and shelve intact split. I had to order that in December 2018 as well. Although the refrigerator is not a year old the company would not cover it. I complain about having problems with the frame after delivery... Someone came out but the problem was not resolved. Called Frigidaires customer support. I was told to spray Pam on the drawer in order for it to slide easy!!! Yesterday when I went into my refrigerator I found out theres another break in the plastic frame....in the exact same place the first break was. Here I go again calling Frigidaire again about this lousy product!!!Gas range: I was using my range cooking for the Thanksgiving holidays...and my Carbon Monoxide Alarm went off. I had to get my son, granddaughter and myself out of the house. If I did not have the carbon monoxide alarm it would had been tragic. I called the gas company in my area and they verified it was carbon monoxide... I called Frigidaire and they set up an appointment for someone to come out. Frigidaire gave me the information of the service person and phone number... I took it upon myself to call them a few hours after I spoke with Frigidaire. The service person told me they were no longer doing service calls??? I had to call Frigidaire back to let them know in order for them to reschedule someone else to come out. Within a week a service person came out with new parts for the gas range.

We purchased a complete suite of Gallery kitchen appliances approximately 2 years ago. Some observations: they look nice but the dishwasher leaked and damaged the kitchen floor. Negotiating repairs was a hassle. Since repaired, no new problem(s). Does a reasonable job but Bosch washers are clearly superior. PS: I ate the floor damage repairs rather than do the dance with Frigidaire. They are not easy to work with. The refrigerator froze items in the bins. There was a part missing (possibly an upgrade that was not with the unit) that diverted frozen/refrigerated air into the bin area. I installed it - it is better now. The unit moans, groans, squeaks, sighs, moans as though its possessed. We were told its normal. Normal? Maybe. Annoying for sure. The ice dispenser shoots ice all over the place. The exterior stainless surfaces are thin. They are generally non-smudge but the door handles are not. The range (glass top) controls suck. The porcelain finish chips very easily. The oven is fine, the convection feature is very nice. The microwave oven is OK. The controls and timer - reminder beeps are annoying. Would I buy them again? No. Id happily pay more for a superior product.

The problems here are numerous but the most aggravating is that when you open the door to load the dishwasher and pull the bottom rack out, the door starts shutting on its own sliding the rack back into the dishwasher. I have been employing a brick to hold the door down while I load the dishwasher. Problem 4, I thought my previous dishwasher was loud. This dishwasher drowns out every other noise by a mile. We have been setting it to come on later, it only has one setting for this, 4 hours. So now around 2 am the entire family meets in the kitchen to find out what the racket is about.

The $900 refrigerator started giving us problems about 2 months after purchasing (made strange clicking and buzzing sounds and would stop cooling and had to be unplugged and then re-plugged into the outlet a couple of times to get it to start working). Fast forward to the present (5 months after purchasing) and the refrigerator and freezer have stopped working permanently (despite unplugging and re-plugging as originally suggested by Frigidaire customer service). After waiting nearly an hour to speak to a person, I managed to get Frigidaire to arrange for a repairman who told us the compressor was shot and the entire unit would have to be replaced. Learned that Frigidaire and its service partners DO NOT COMMUNICATE after another nearly one hour wait on Frigidaires customer service number (when I finally got a person, I waited another 20 minutes as the rep called the repair service to confirm what Id been told). While the repairman had told me the refrigerator would be replaced, Frigidaire says they will first have to check if parts are available (a compressor and a heater). I am now waiting for Frigidaire Corporate to reach out to me with details on how they plan to honor their standard 12-month manufacturers warranty (I should hear back within 72 hours according to what I was told by the service rep). Weve now been without a refrigerator for over one week without any idea of how long it will take to get this situation resolved. According to other reviews Ive read, it may well take over a month!

Ordered a replacement part from this company and they sent the wrong piece. Discovered a problem with the people they have in the ordering department. They do not listen to you, make promises they never keep and the supervisors go only by the reps notes so they intentionally do not put anything in those notes to protect themselves. Called three times for a return form and I was told I never called. Ordered my part from a small business and received it in one day. Terrible customer service.Bought Frigidaire refrigerator, stove and dishwasher for the new addition in 2014. Fridge burned out the motherboard 3 years later (used a 50 year old Sears Coldspot that still works for weeks). Ice maker has always had cubes that stick so it clunks till you pull out the cube. Hardly ever use it. The one time I did turn it on and didnt hear the clunking but when I opened the door I found the entire freezer frozen in a giant ice cube from top to bottom. The dishwasher has had a heat sensor burn out. Also the wash cycle would never advanced till our repairman (not a Frigidaire repairman) told us about a design flaw. You cant use the Hot Wash Cycle ever because it will never heat the water enough to advance out of the wash cycle. The oven door has slots so if you accidentally spill you have to take the entire door apart to clean. Will never buy this product again.

We have had many Frigidaire products over the years. Not sure what happened
We have had many Frigidaire products over the years. Not sure what happened to them, but they are certainly not what they used to be. Our latest... a new Frigidaire dishwasher, the master control board failed at 2 years and one month, just past warranty. And their service? Was a huge fail! They did not care. It was clearly a manufacturing quality control problem for that to fail. But the response from Frigidaire was they did not care. And, they had no interest in taking the machine or board back to see what went wrong with it (despite our offer). It was like they knew there was a problem... but they just did not care. So, we replaced it with an American made Whirlpool, and will do the same with the fridge and freezer. And we will never go back to Frigidaire again. For others, I recommend you research your purchases carefully.

I just bought a fridge on Black Friday that was delivered to my house the Friday after. After the installation, I noticed the fridge beeping, but I thought that it was due to the fact that it hasnt reached the ideal temperature. During the weekend the fridge didnt stop beeping, even though it reached the temperature. We tried different things that we found on the internet, but nothing worked. On Monday I decided to contact the customer service, and they told me to turn the breaker off and on again. At the time that they ended my call, the fridge wasnt beeping just yet. As soon as I hang up the beep starts again. I proceed to call the customer service once again and let the representative know all the previous details and she puts me on hold for a brief moment. She then proceeds to give me the number of different companies around me that could service my brand new fridge. When I ask her for the procedure and if it was cover by the manufacturers warranty, she proceeds to tell me that this was not a functioning issue and that the service should be paid by me. I have gone to hundreds of internet pages looking for a solution to my problem, but instead, I found tons of people with my same fridge having the same issue as me. Frigidaire sells faulty products that they dont even back up. Please dont make the same mistake I did. Purchase another brand. This website rates them 4+ stars, but these reviews must have been purchased. Im sending back my fridge and getting another brand. I WILL NEVER EVER AGAIN BUY ANY FRIGIDAIRE BRANDED APPLIANCES.

I purchased a Frigidaire washer and dryer in July of 2015. Almost immediately I need service due to the washer leaking, not filling up with water properly and the dryer would not dry the clothes completely. Since then, I have had 11 separate service calls on the units. Each time, there is a 4 hour window for service which requires me to be off work. They have replaced every part on the washer and most computerized parts on the dryer. Now, the washer has the same problem that caused the original service call. I have made numerous calls to the customer service line and always get the same response. Customer service say they are meeting to decide how to proceed and promise a return call. They never do. I have to call them, start the entire conversation history over with another customer service rep.We are now in June of 2016. I may have had 2 weeks of continual usage of the washer and dryer until the next problem with the machines occur. I have asked them to recognize that they sold me a defective product and to stop trying to fix the unfixable and send me a new machine. I have explained to them that my unit got by their quality control department and that they sold me a lemon, a machine that obviously does not work as intended. Of course, the warranty will expire in July and they will then have no obligation to fix (joke) the units. If this was a automobile, it would be recalled. If this was medical care, it would be malpractice. You would think a company of this size would realize that they sold me a bad product and make it right.Today I emailed the CEO Jonas Samuelson with my complaints. Hoping but with major doubts I will hear back. Buyers, beware of this company and good luck dealing with their lack of customer service. PS: I still have no washer and dryer going on 30 days from the last service call. Apparently, they are waiting for parts to arrive. Guess they never heard of USPS or UPS overnight shipping.

It works well and keeps the bedroom cold like I like it for next to no money extra on the bill. Turn it on for couple hours in the morning and evening and it's great. Works great on the upstairs bedroom better than any other we've had. Makes it cool. Used less than 5 hours a day. Used in peak season during the hottest part of the day. Not big and clunky like some other models. Does what it is supposed to do without being cumbersome or daunting or a sore thumb. Have had it for two years without a problem yet. Get you one for your house now. Really reliable!

New stove and the smell that comes off of it goes in to the food that I am trying to cook in the oven... Have ran it through a clean but it still smells and smokes. NEVER buy a Frigidaire stove. If I cant get rid of the smell in one more cleaning I will need to scrap the stove and get a different brand. They dont care as when I called they just said, Yes, it will smell for a while because of the oil etc. in the stove. Not good... Your eyes burn when it runs a clean and there isnt anything in the oven. I am just running another clean to burn off the crap... But it doesnt seem to be working. UNHEALTHY.

Frigidaire makes the crappiest appliances on the planet. I have had Frigidaire refrigerators, stoves, and dishwashers in homes and apartments where I have lived over the years. They have all been substandard, cheap appliances that are inferior when working, and prone to frequent breakdowns. I have had to replace many a Frigidaire product over the years. DO NOT BUY A FRIGIDAIRE ANYTHING!!!

Purchased the Gallery series in 2012. Frigidaire replaced the refrigerator
Purchased the Gallery series in 2012. Frigidaire replaced the refrigerator due to multiple issues with the ice maker. The replaced refrigerator now has issues with the ice maker. Called a repair service and they found that the refrigerator is rusting from the inside out showing me a big rust spot that is leaking on the back of my refrigerator. Obviously have a bigger issue than the ice maker. Repairman tried working with a Frigidaire technician sending pictures 2 times with no luck. I called customer service, they wont let me talk to the technician. Told me to call an approved Frigidaire repair service giving me contact info. One place wont return my calls and the other place wont come because they dont want to get involved because it is out of warranty. I dont think it is normal for your refrigerator to rust from the inside out. Seems like a $2,000 refrigerator (replaced in 2013) should last more than 5 years and it wouldnt be normal to rust from the inside out! What poor customer service. I am out of leads to pursue. Not to mention the microwave burned out and we need to replace the Frigidaire microwave too.

Frigidaire appliances are the worst. We bought the Frigidaire Gallery serie
Frigidaire appliances are the worst. We bought the Frigidaire Gallery series, all four major appliances - brand new from Appliance Factory Outlet. I will NEVER buy Frigidaire again and will not buy from Appliance Factor Outlet again. We paid extra to get the gallery series so fingerprints are less noticeable and apparently the extra money is only for that feature because the appliances have been nothing but trouble. Within 2 years we have had 7 repair calls on our refrigerator (ice machine not working, ice machine freezing/seizing up, doors not sealing, under drawer freezer ice build up, etc. etc. etc.). One time the complete cooling system went out and we had to throw out a bunch of food, of which they do not care about. Thank goodness we had the extended 10 year warranty or else we probably would have spent enough money to buy another refrigerator on service calls. Appliance Factory Outlet was less than helpful. They clearly had the attitude that its not their problem. They want the sale without any customer service. The warranty people (Brand Source) are irritated every time I have to place another repair call. I actually had Brand Source correct me after I said you guys have been out to my house a million times and she sarcastically said they told me that I have had only 7 repair calls. Unbelievable. Now we are 3 years into our new appliances and the dishwasher has broke 2 times. Unfortunately, we do not have the extended warranty on that. The oven also has had issues but suffice it to say - never buy Frigidaire appliances. I called the corporate office and they said you have to have 4 occurrences OF THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM before they will consider a replacement. I guess 7 or 8 calls on a brand new fridge isnt troublesome to them.

I contacted a repair service recommended by Frigidaire. They checked the appliance and ordered parts. When they came back and removed microwave - found it was burnt out and notified the company immediately on 6/9/14. Told me if I didnt hear from Frigidaire in a couple of days to contact them with ref. number. I contacted Frigidaire after 3 days and was told by a lovely lady the paperwork is not processed yet but she will do it and give them a week. I called back a week later and was told by that representative they were waiting for pictures etc before they can process my claim. No one told the repair company or myself this was needed. Now I have to wait for these to be processed again. Repair company emailing today. Each time I called Frigidaire I had a minimum of 20 minutes wait to talk to a representative. I have gotten Frigidaire products in past and purchased the refrigerator and top oven at the same time as the microwave but I will not be purchasing any Frigidaire products again!!

My land lady bought a new refrigerator from Frigidaire at Menards May of 2013. In March of 2014, the freezer went out, lost all our freezer food. Repairman came out once to inspect the problem then several days later to fix. He said the freon was out. He put some in and it worked fine until last week, thats only 4 Months later and its the same problem!! I have been without a fridge for 7 days. Menards passed the buck and so did Frigidaire, will not replace or Give refund for lost food. Repairman came on Friday to see the problem, have to wait 4 days for them coming Out and hopefully will fix it. Will never buy a Frigidaire product!!!

My range is 2 years old and have already had the bottom or the oven replaced 3 times because the porcelain on the bottom cracks, which then sends out a horrible smell and ruins your food. I receive no help from Frigidaire since it is out of its one year manufacture warranty even though the first time was only 4 months old. The Frigidaire company will not even talk to me. When I ask to speak to a manager, I am told their managers do not speak to consumers. My extended warranty is from Lowes; their service center only knows how to answer a question reading off a script. Now my electric board went out so again I go weeks without a oven. What happen to the day when the customer meant something to a business.
