La unidad tiene las características típicas - lavado, desinfección, sólo aclarado, lavado a alta temperatura, secado con calor, lavado ligero, normal o pesado, y retraso en el inicio hasta 6 horas. La cara del lavavajillas es estándar; nada de fantasía, sin características de captura de suciedad, muy satisfactorio. Las funciones electrónicas (arranque, parada, etc.) se rompieron después de muy poco uso. Este es mi segundo Maytag y una repetición del primero. No volveré a comprar esta marca.

Durante años quise tener una lavadora Maytag de carga superior. El año pasado compré una por 720 libras más IVA. Empecé a usarla en julio y en noviembre de este año se estropeó. This washing machine is TERRIBLE! If I could give it zero stars I would. It broke right after the first year and has been nothing but trouble since. Agitators has been replaced twice. Clothes do not get clean. Do not buy this machine. When I contacted Maytag with my initial complaints they were not helpful. Please save yourself the trouble and buy a different brand machine.

We bought our beautiful Maytag refrigerator model MFI2568AES at our local Home Depot approx. 4 to 5 years ago. The refrigerator stopped cooling last week and we had just renewed the warranty for 3 years. The service repair stated that the problem was not covered (internal corrosion) and they could not do anything for us. Is this how long Maytag refrigerators last? Home Depot was also not willing to do anything for us. Were very upset and disappointed and using ice chests for now.

I called Sears to have a simple repair done to my Neptune washer and received a quote for $800.00++. They gave us a coupon to get a new washer at Sears and we did. Last week my dryer broke and I looked the repair up on Youtube. It looked real simple. A quote for $270 was given to us. Again a coupon if we wanted to buy new. It seems to me Sears jacks the price up on its parts and labor in order to push the customer to buy new. So far its worked for them and Im sure everyone else as well. Its not going to work out for Sears this time. Im no longer doing business with them and I will do the repair myself. I still got stuck with the service call but that will end as well going forward because I know now what the game is. Shame on you Sears. Double thumbs down for my Maytag Neptune washer and dryers.

I bought this machine about a yr ago. My clothes come out so dirty white spots all over my clothes. Now my bills are higher. Because I cannot afford another washing machine I have to bring them to the laundromat. I saved my money a long time to buy a washer and now I am without one and still paying for this piece of tin that does not work... If I ever get a chance to buy another one it will not be a Maytag. Maytag side-by-side fridge with water/ice dispenser (Model # MSD2572VEW00) was purchased in 2011. Mechanically, fridge is working, however, every piece of plastic inside the refrigerator section (the regular glass shelves with plastic rims, vegetable bins, and door ban shelves) are all cracking and falling apart. Additionally, the buttons on the ice/water dispenser fell off, exposing the actual buttons on the panel. All three of the regular sized shelves have severe cracks in the plastic that affect the sturdiness of the shelf. Both vegetable drawers are badly cracked, falling apart and one doesnt even stay secure on the track. Even all three of the door ban shelves are cracked with fractures along the sides and bottom. Weve resorted to putting clear packing tape just to hold the shelves together.We contacted Whirlpool, who owns Maytag and because our fridge is 4 years outside of the 1 year warranty, they could do nothing for us. In over 30 years of owning refrigerators, this is the first time Ive seen every shelf and bin crack the way this fridge has and in less than 5 years no less! Whirlpools solution to our issue was to send my call to their Parts Department. The total cost to replace all the cracked shelves, bin drawers plus the ice/water dispenser panel is $702.28. No thanks, thats as much as a new fridge. Whirlpool should be utterly ashamed of their total lack of Customer Satisfaction by distributing such a piece of junk. Who would have thought that an appliance costing a couple hundred dollars would be considered as disposable as an aluminum pan and in only 5 years! One thing is for sure, I will certainly think carefully again on ever buying another Whirlpool product again since they are so apt to take my money only for me to repurchase an expensive appliance again in less than 5 years.

Purchased a Maytag refrigerator in July 2011. The compressor failed May of 2013. After many phone calls to Maytag they replaced the parts (compressor) - my cost for labor (aprox $300.00). 30 days later, the service company had to repair a leak and recharge the system. March of 2015 the compressor failed again. Have spoken to Maytag (case # **) - they will provide no help what so ever. I was told I should have purchased an extended warranty.

Maytag Bravos XL Washer & Dryer - After a long 45-year use of our old GE W./D. that were still working fine when we decided it was finally time to upgrade. Big mistake. Nothing but dissatisfaction on every level of complaints by those who registered here before us and then some. This all was noticed almost immediately after purchase, but we lived with it trying not to believe our worse fears. That is until we both started breaking out with skin rashes. Just logged on this site after a Google search... We were shocked and disappointed in our purchase decision. We will join in a class action lawsuit if ever one is initiated... Any lawyers with one of these?

I purchased the Bravos X washer approximately 13 mos ago. Washer was noisy and has deteriorated since installation. I questioned the ability of a non agitator appliance getting close clean but was assured it would. Not the best if clothes are just moving against clothes. The machine had a difficult time in between adjusting to wash balancing a 3x event upon starting. It leaked intermittently during spin cycles and stopped due to unbalanced loads, sometimes refilling and stopping again. Now it wont spin at all, circuit board problems! This is my first and last Maytag. The company will most likely not balance/compensate on the purchase price (like the Bravos X) because it is beyond the 12 mos warranty.

I purchased my Maytag Bravos XL washing machine in July 2016. In August 2016 it broke for the first time. I was just passed my 30 day moneyback guarantee, so Sears would not take the washer back. I have had more than 10 service calls on this washer in one year. I live in a rural area, so Maytag told me I was in a non-serviceable area and would have to wait WEEKS until they found a repair person willing to come to me. I only live 40 miles from Richmond VA, where I purchased the washing machine, so imagine my shock when they told me they couldnt fix it because of my location! Ive had countless people in and out of my house, and it still does not work right. You can only do very small loads, so the perk of having an XL machine is none. But even at that, it does not properly clean anything, tangles clothes, and will leave even the cleanest items looking terrible when they come out.Ive had a new circuit board, new transmission, new bearings and gears, new balancing rods, and still, Im left with a machine that does not wash and makes terrible grinding noises. I bought the washer and matching dryer as a set, and even the dryer had to get a new circuit board put in it in the 1st 60 days! After thousands of dollars in repairs on a $1000 washer, Maytag will not admit I have a defective machine and replace it! I just ran a load of laundry and have to call Maytag yet again, because the grinding noise gets louder with every run. Do not waste your money!I would give anything to have the 29 year old set I gave away when I bought this garbage back! I have literally been on the phone with Maytag in tears because it doesnt work properly, Ive had to throw away items that would not come clean because there is not a laundromat available in the town I live in. All I want is to be able to keep my family in clean clothing and linens, doesnt seem like too much to ask.

I purchased a Maytag Bravos XL Commercial Washer on Jan.31, 2020. I have had problems with the control board twice in less than two years. To replace the control board it cost $560 plus dollars. I may as well get another washer. So, I have to buy two washers in less than two years, but the next one will not be a Maytag. I will not recommend their products.

We purchased a Maytag dishwasher from Home Depot in January 2009. We did not begin using it until perhaps March of 2009, so just over 2 years ago. It gets ran maybe 1 to 2 times per week. I went to turn it on a day ago and the right side of the control panel, where you press the start button, does not work. When I checked Maytags website, I discovered there was a recall due to the heating element. So, I had the repair technician out and he told me that the control panel was bad and it would cost $300 for parts and labor to repair. We paid $600 for this dishwasher. Of course, we have the option of purchasing a new dishwasher and receive a rebate but that ends up being more than just ordering parts and replacing them ourselves, but something only 2 years old should not break. From reading all the other complaints on this forum, I am surprised that Maytag has not done something about the control panel and the humidity issue which seems to cause the control panel to go out. This is an expensive fix which Maytag needs to address. Come on Maytag!

We purchased the Maytag Bravos XL Washer and Dryer based on the good reviews. This has been the worst appliance purchase we have ever made. The washer had to be replaced on the 3rd day after it was installed due to a motherboard issue. The washer constantly has the UL error code so I cannot leave the house if I am going to wash any clothes - I readjust all the clothing in the washer; however, there is no rhyme or reason to the UL code - just made workmanship.We also have had many issues with the dryer as well. Our clothes stopped drying, the clothes had a mildew smell and the lint was wet even though we religiously clean out the lint element. We researched and found this was a common issue. The belt comes off on these dryers; apparently it happens quite often. We fixed it ourselves - twice- by watching a YouTube video. Now our dryer catch (latch) doesnt work and we have to repair that as well.It is obvious from all the complaints that both of these Maytag machines that there should be a class action lawsuit at this point in time. I will NEVER purchase a Maytag or Whirlpool product - EVER. Whenever anyone asks me for a recommendation I tell them to stay FAR FAR away from both Maytag and Whirlpool products since they are unreliable, have terrible workmanship and the company will not do the right thing and fix the issue and provide refunds to those that have purchased these terrible machines. A washer and dryer is a big investment and should last more than a couple of years. I never had issues with my Kenmore or GE products and wish I still had them. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED BY MAYTAG OR WHIRLPOOL. EVER.

Low water level resulting in poor cleaning. Very poor design. Requires 2 rinses so the water savings of the wash cycle is a joke! Im very disappointed with the so-called Maytag quality. If doing very very small or handwash loads it work somewhat ok! Would never buy Maytag again!!

I bought my Maytag washer thinking that I was buying a quality product. My washer hardly ever can complete a spin cycle without bumping and knocking and then stopping. I have to babysit this washer because we never know if it will complete a cycle or not. The machine is totally level. We have to adjust almost every load just to wash clothes. Sorry Maytag but this washer is crap and I will never buy anything made by Maytag. What a waste of my money.

I purchased a Maytag Bravo Washer and Dryer about 2 years ago; dissatisfied with the products. Washer continues to smell. I clean it all the time with the Affresh tablets. Usually, I have to use 2 bags just to get it not to smell for at least 2 weeks. Now, the glass front dryer is rusting out around the window.

My husband bought me a brand new Bravo Maytag washer and dryer from Home Depot in November 2010. In May of 2011, we moved and the dryer hookup was electric instead of gas. My husband knew how much I love the dryer, so he surprised me with another Bravo dryer to match the washer. We put the other dryer in storage and were happy with our purchase until April. In April 2012, the dryer stopped working. It wouldnt dry the clothes at all, and every time we tried to dry, the dryer was filled with wet lint. We were only a week away from moving again, so we waited until we got to the new house. The new house had gas hookups. So, we put the dryer that didnt work in storage and were thankful we didnt get rid of the other dryer. Now, just a few months later, the gas dryer isnt drying and is having the same issues as the electric dryer. How very disappointing! Both dryers are broken now, and it has only been 2 years. Each dryer has gotten about a year of use and then both quit. My husband, I and my two-year-old dont do that much laundry to break 2 dryers. My old GE washer and dryer lasted for years and is still working. We gave them to my husbands aunt who uses them and loves them. I agree someone should start a class action against Maytag. These issues are ridiculous!

Purchased the Neptune washer & dryer in 2002. Did not purchase any additional warranty. I have had Frigidaire, Kenmore and Speed Queen washers previously and used them until they quit. I have not had any problems with either the washer or dryer. No mold, no smell, nothing. I did laundry for 2 children and 2 adults, 6 to 8 loads per week with half being heavily soiled work clothes. I still wash 3-4 times a week. I was able to wash & dry king size blankets and comforters for the first time with this set. Washer and dryer are located on the main floor of house and are the quietest units I have ever owned. They may quit tomorrow, but they have done the job that they were designed to do. I am well satisfied with the quality and performance of both units and would not hesitate to purchase Maytag appliances again.

Just so everyone knows, Maytag, Whirlpool, and Amana washers are all made by the same company and almost all of the internal parts are the same. The differences are mostly cosmetic, its just a way to sell more of the same thing to different classes of people. Just like Chrysler sells Chrysler, Plymouth and Dodge, they all had the same engines, transmissions and electrical systems, just different looks to appeal to different people. I found this out the hard way after purchasing an Amana front loader washer and dryer that broke down on me every other week for a year. I got tired of it and purchased the Maytag 2000 series. This set also breaks down on a regular basis! This is when I found out from the repair company that services these machines that all I did by getting rid of the Amana set and buying the Maytag set was buy a different looking set. Now I am really pissed. This company works for Whirlpool warranty servicing Whirlpool, Amana and Maytag as well as other major brands. All same machines inside the repair man said! Look into it, research it online and call whirlpool for yourselves as I did. You will find it to be true. So if you hate your Maytag, Whirlpool or Amana front loader washer or dryer, research and buy from a different company or you will buy the same old problems again and again.

Purchased a Maytag top load HE washer in November of 2011 & by Feb. of 2012, Maytag had to bring me a new one after a service call to fix lasted only one week. So at the end of Feb. 2012 they brought me a new Maytag Centennial HE Model# MVWC400XW3 & this one lasted till January of 2014, less than 2 years old & quit working. Had a service man come out to look at it & was told not only it would need a $400 repair but it was made by Samsung, but Maytag had their nameplate on it!! Called Maytag customer service line which took about 30 minutes of hold time to get through & was told, SORRY, LADY, we cant help you. Youre just out of $613 after less than 2 years of service & we WONT help you!! This company should be shut down, they are liars, frauds, cheaters, producers of poor quality products, uncaring, & sellers of the worst products on the US market & I hope the Consumer Affairs will see enough of these complaints about Maytag products & shut them down!!!

I bought a Maytag washer and dryer, the Neptune series and thought I was getting a top of the line, but now the dryer has quit working and the repairman said it is not worth fixing and it is only about 5 years old. So that is what I am so angry about.

I have had to replace the control panel on my Maytag Dishwasher 2 times in the last 4 years I have owned it. I diagnosed the problem using the serviceman repair manual which is located on the kick plate or lower plate for panel of your dishwasher. This is not one of the dishwashers that is listed on the recall list, but it is on the dishwashers list that Maytag suggested that you buy to replace your dishwasher that is on the recall list. RE: 5.2 CU Ft Top Load Washer, Model # MVWB865GW0, Serial # C84370937 - Purchased Jan 2019. The clothes come out terribly tangled and severely wrinkled, even when using the Wrinkle Control or Delicate cycle and occurs in every load size. Ive tried every cycle, including the deep fill and low spin speed but items are so wrinkled that whether I lay flat or hang or put them in the dryer, I have to iron them, which I never did before.

I purchased a Maytag washer on 7/23/11 from HHGregg. The salesperson told us they would highly recommend the new (HE) washer and said that everyone will start selling these only. So I bought your Maytag HE washer Centennial commercial brand. My complaint is my clothes dont seem to get clean. I have started putting less clothes in each load to see if that would help and it does not seem to help. When my clothes still come out smelling like my perfume and there are dry spots on my clothes, this tells me my clothes are not getting cleaned. I also have very sensitive skin. If my clothes were not rinsed good enough, I itch very bad. I called the store I bought this at and the salesperson I spoke with also said there were other complaints about HE washers. I wish I would have never bought a (HE) washer.

I purchased Maytag Bravos XL Steam Washer brand new from Lowe�€�s in January 2018. HORRIBLE washer! Does not get clothes clean and leaves soap and scum all over clothes. I have to wash everything on power wash with an additional rinse cycle (takes about 2 hours per load) and clothes still don�€�t come out clean. I often have to wash a load 2 or 3 times to get it clean. Will NEVER PURCHASE another Maytag product! What is even worse is that I also bought the Maytag �€�commercial technology�€� washer at the same time. It�€�s an even more TERRIBLE washer. Cannot get through one cycle without getting an LF (low flow) error & the cycle shuts off and machine drains & quits. Absolutely the two WORST washers I�€�ve ever owned in the past 40 years!!!

We have been married 50 yrs. We have never had a Maytag, we bought one 4 days ago, Dec.13, 2017. This is the worst wash machine (Maytag Bravos XL MCT) we have ever had, the clothes come out wet with white soap marks on the dark clothes. Lowes said we can exchange it for another washer, it will not be a Maytag.

Bought the xl about 14 months ago. NO LIE! Exactly 2 days after the 1-year warranty was up, the xl went down. Drive shaft and bearings. Did Maytag honor the warranty since it was only 48 hours past the expiration? Not just a no but a why are you bothering attitude. My brother and I are above average machine builders. Well fix it ourselves because we could buy a new one to have it repaired. After many hours scouring the web we found the parts. Maytag didnt make a repair kit available to the public. 7 hours plus over $200 to tear it down and to clean the muck trapped at the drain. Then sand-smooth the burnt on metal where the bearings sit. All for a washing machine that sucks at washing clothes in the first place. Never ever again will I buy a Maytag.

Se partió por la mitad y cada vez que la máquina de hielo hace un ciclo, vierte el agua fuera de ese accesorio y por el lado. ¿Por qué demonios lo diseñaron así? Ha causado daños en mis armarios y en el suelo de baldosas al pasar por debajo de él. Creía que Maytag era conocida por su calidad. ¿Qué ha pasado con eso? Que pedazo de chatarra tan decepcionante y estoy atascado con él a menos que quiera poner dinero para algo diferente. Debería haber una norma de la Ley del Limón para electrodomésticos como éste. He preguntado y no he recibido nada del servicio de garantía, sino silencio (grillos). Están enviando un técnico de nuevo, pero eso requerirá dos llamadas de servicio porque siempre tienen que pedir piezas, lo que lleva 2-3 semanas. I purchased my Maytag Neptune pair on Jan. 24, 2005. I was unaware of the problems and lawsuit related to these items. Luckily, I didnt have any problems with them until May of this year. At that time, I spent $337.00 for a new control panel for the dryer. (Just because I didnt want to split up my set.) I expected them to last me for the rest of my life. Of course, the washer had started to do something even the repair man had never heard of before, right about the same time. I told him that the tub would fill up with gallons of water, and surprise me when I opened the door on various occasions, flooding my laundry room and the basement downstairs. Mind you, this would occur even with the water supply cut off to the machine, no hot or cold running to it.He performed a diagnostic test on it and said everything showed up fine. Of course, it didnt overflow while he was here. He is the one who told me about all the trouble and the lawsuits. I had wondered why I didnt see them for sale anymore. I have been keeping the water turned off except when I need to use it after all this time. It still happens! The repairman thought I was senile or something. I dont have a mold problem, no trouble with the door lock (yet), and out of all the comments and complaints Ive read online today, only this site had one with a problem of it flooding the house. My husband and I are on a fixed income, and here is this unit (that I thought would be my last) rotting out my floor and wall in the laundry room, and flooding my basement. Not to mention it rusting out the inside of the washer and its pedestal. I would like to hear from anyone else who had this water problem, and what it took to fix it.

I bought a Maytag Bravos top loader in Oct 2011. About a yr after having it, it started having problems. At the end of the cycle, theres still water in the tub and clothes are soaked. A couple of months after that, it started completely skipping the wash cycle, so the clothes would just sit in dirty water and do nothing. I called the small appliance co. I bought it from and by the time I get done paying a house call and parts, I might as well buy another one. I called Maytag because it seems theyre all having the same problem and at some point youd think they would be responsible for their product. They couldnt care less and the options they offered me were a joke!! Please, whatever you do, DO NOT BUY A MAYTAG because you will be on your own if anything goes wrong (unless you want to pay them the price of a new washer!!).

I purchased MVWB955FW (washer) and MEDB955FW (dryer) from AJ Madison and the units were delivered in December 2017. After using the washing machine 5 times the glass lid spontaneously shattered putting glass into the machine and all of the clothes. I called Maytag for a replacement/service and they had to reschedule as the lid wasnt in yet. A week later, I followed up with Customer Service only to find out that the replacement lid was also shattered. They didnt make a replacement lid without glass (not sure why you need to watch the clothes being washed). I was told that there were no replacement lids available anywhere. I asked about getting a replacement washer and was told couldnt do that.I asked them to pick up the units and refund my money, which they promised. It is now 2 months since the original call for service and I continue to have to follow-up with them (never get a call back) and STILL have the broken units in my house. I have since purchased a replacement set (LG) and waiting for my refund. I will NEVER do business with Maytag/Whirlpool again.

Maytag Bravos Model MVWB750wq1 - After only two years, the washing machine finally died. The machine was on a f51 code - hardly anything was in the washer. I also smelled a burning smell - well, that was the pump. The machine was not pumping water out. After the repairman came out, the contract company is saying they are not covering this because there was rust reported by the repairman. How can bearings inside a washing machine be rusted? This is a washing machine, isnt it? How are they building machines that deal with water and rust?! I will never buy another Maytag product - thats a promise. I spent over 2000.00 on this set. Never again.

Bravos XL washer- This is probably the worst purchase I have ever made, first off, at $1000 it was a pricey purchase however, I chalked it up to it will last many years without issue. After only 3 years, the unit leaked water and was so loud you couldnt stay indoors while it was on spin cycle. The bearings and seal were completely shot and needed replacement, after the sticker shock of having a good repairman fix the problem I decided to tackle the job myself. (Thank you YouTube). All was well for the next 2 years until it all happened again. Maytag is junk and will never get another dollar from me-ever! A Speed Queen TR5 now sits where that piece of crap used to reside. BUYER BEWARE!

Purchase this machine Bravo XL Top Load Washer in Dec of 2016, noticed right away every load of dark clothes comes out of the washer with a scummy lint residue on them, some of the clothes are not completely wet when you take them out of the machine. Have talked to Maytag and tried their suggestions that did not work. Seems like a canned speech reading some of the other reviews. I am just at upset with the appliance store that we purchased this from after their sales pitch how these are the best machines made, made in Ohio, great company etc..etc.. Just one run around after another.

I just started searching the web for information on this item due to the problem I am having. My Neptune Front Loader Model MAH55FLBWW washer makes horrible noises when on spin cycle, and is out of alignment so that the hard plastic bit around the opening is being scraped off. Some of my more delicate items have been ruined or damaged due to this. I bought the Neptune washer/dryer set with stands probably 10 years ago from Home Depot. I am sure the warranty has long since expired, and I have not contacted anyone about possible repairs. At this time, I am not financially able to do much about this. I have never had much of an issue about mold, no issues at all with the dryer, and no motherboards needing to be replaced. From reading what others have had to deal with on this site, I consider myself lucky.

Now we must buy a new washing machine as this one is apparently beyond repair, or else the repair costs will far exceed what it would cost to purchase a new machine. We are completely disgusted with its failure, as we paid $822.36, with the delivery fee and the tax. We expected that this machine would last for years, but here we are, 42 months later, having to again invest in a washer. Now that we have a computer and are able to browse your performance reports, we wish we had been able to read them before, in which case we never ever would have bought it at all.Yesterday it spewed water all over our basement, flooding things that should not get wet, providing an atmosphere for encouragement of mold and rust. The motor is gone as the housing is cracked, which was caused by debris getting into it, something that we could not have known or prevented. This is very poor design by your company, in our opinion. We called some repairmen, all useless as apparently the whole machine would have had to be completely dismantled at a rate of $84.00 per hour, and he could not tell us how many hours that would take, to say nothing of finding a new motor for the thing.We will never again buy a Maytag product as they are expensive with a too-short shelf life and there�€�s nobody who cares when you need help for something that should not have happened at all. We purchased this dryer a Maytag Model MEDC200XW3 about 10 months ago. The dryer slowly over time began to take longer to dry our clothes. After watching it work and seeing that the airflow in the tube was not flowing well, I noticed the lint trap was not functioning well enough and over 50% of the lint was escaping the lint trap and plugging up the exhaust vent. I asked Maytag for a service to repair my dryer and explained my findings. The service person on the phone wanted to send me a lint brush. I told her to send a repairman. The repairman said that all lint traps let lint by and said it was my problem. Well today theyre closed and I cant even leave a message. Now I know why the Maytag repairman is the loneliest man in town...

We purchased washer at Sears 6 years ago. Have had same issues for 5 or more years. Sears has been out to check it 6 to 7 times! They clean it out, tell me to use (expensive) Affresh tablets monthly, problem solved but it never is! When we run our washer and walk in laundry room it smells like a sewer. If we open lid its even worse. I use Norwex all naturally, biodegradable laundry detergent. There is nothing Ive done to create this smell. Its a manufactured problem that probably relates to ALL the other issues with this crappie washer that Maytag will do nothing about. I called Sears for 7th or 8th time, said they could send someone out AGAIN, I said thats a waste of my time and yours. They told me to call Maytag. They wont do anything (warranty is up). Of course there are NO ISSUES OR RECALLS on this washer and obviously there should be with not ONE good review! Im angry. You all should be too. We paid good $ for a product that used to have a good name and they are screwing us. I think we should ban together with a class action lawsuit. Please give me your thoughts. They know something isnt right and they shouldnt get away with this.

I purchased my 10kg commercial Maytag dryer in March 2015 and started using it in May 2015. Within two months the heater had broken. I contacted the people I bought it off and it turned out I had to contact Whirlpool. It took them 8 weeks to get my dryer going again. The dryer broke down again in November. This time it was a sensor. Again I had to contact Whirlpool, it took them three weeks to get it going again. Being a care home the dryer is essential to our business. We were led to believe when we took out the extended warranty that the dryer would be fixed within a week. I will never purchase a Maytag again or anything to do with Whirlpool.

Maytag Bravos quiet series 300 - We have had this washing machine for approx. 2 years and there is rust marking around the opening of the spout where the bleach is poured into. We also find that we have to do the clean cycle quite often. And it bounces and make a loud noise if there is not enough clothing in it�€� even on the bulky cycle. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE! And we have been loyal purchasers for 40 plus years!

Not only did I buy a Maytag washer for the brand name and trusted longevity, but because they were always a good product in the past. When my Maytag EZ-Epic washer drum failed after only owning it for two years, there was no effort made by any associate to cover this under any sort of warranty at all. To replace this part, I was quoted so much money that I could go out and buy a brand new one for the cost of the repair for this faulty part. I am extremely dissatisfied with the way I was treated because the so called product was out of warranty and I will never buy a Maytag product again. Shame on Maytag for ever selling off to such a fraudster of a company.

MCT commercial technology washer Bravos XL - HORRIBLE product, NEVER worked right! Maytag misrepresented this washer. DONT buy it! Lie after lie! Its suppose to be high efficiency... conserve water and energy. I have to use 3 times the amount of water and energy because it doesnt wash the first time correctly. Leaves soap in clothes, just doesnt wash properly. I have done EVERYTHING they have recommended NOTHING works! I will NEVER buy another product from them. Even the repair people and Customer people say they have nothing but problems. Im going to small claims court. Im sure with all the problems we could get a class action lawsuit. No stars.

Back in late 2017 we paid over $800 to purchase a front loader Maytag washing machine from Lowes. Before the year long warranty was up, the control board/motherboard stopped functioning. Maytag sent a repairman who tried to blame the problem on us even though he appeared well aware of the problems with Maytag/Whirlpool. After appealing to Lowes, they intervened and Maytag agreed to replace the washer with a higher model. (This process took many phone calls and a great deal of frustration).One year later, shortly after the warranty expired on the second washer, the control board again stopped functioning properly on the second Maytag washer. Since then, I have been rebooting the machine, starting the cycle over again numerous times and doing everything within my power to keep the washer going. The cost of replacing the control board is outrageous. Soon I will replace this machine with an LG with an extended service warranty. No more Maytag or Whirlpool products for me! They are once great American corporations that have fallen apart and are riddled with dishonesty and greed. I guess these corporations only mirror what is going on in this country and government.

My mother always said Maytags were the best but I never bought a washer and dryer until about 5 years ago and both are the worst appliances I have ever owned. The washer has rust all over the bleach container and smells to high heaven and I clean it with Affresh all the time. The dryer doesnt dry well and the washer doesnt wash well. I am trashing both and buying some new ones.

Maytag dishwasher model MDBH949AWW - I purchased a dishwasher thinking I was buying the best (laugh is on me). The date of purchase was 1/18/10, the control panel was replaced on 5-25-11 at no charge. On 10-15-12, the control panel failed again so I was forced to hand wash an entire load of dirty dishes. I used the dishwasher once a week. I am debating if it is worth it to repair it or replace it, in light of the fact that it could go out again the next year. Wish I had found this website before I made the purchase.

We upgraded and purchased a new Maytag Dishwasher Quiet Series 300 MDBH955AWQ to benefit our new kitchen remodel. Initially, the dishwasher worked great. I routinely insist on keeping the filters and interior clean as I was raised up believing that if you take care of your equipment, it will take care of you. Very shortly after purchase, there was a fire recall which was taken care of by Maytag and a third party contractor. Then as time went on, it continuously rendered out dishes with debris and food on them. Then it stopped working. It turned out the latch or door handle broke on the pivot point on the interior of the door. I got that replaced and everything was good again. Then about three months later, of course after warranty, it would not start or anything. I verified power and connections and nothing. I spent about $60 on JustAnswer for further advice and the answer was to replace the control board. After about $250 for a service call and $130 additional, it turned out the control board went out. I observed how it appeared to be a poor design due to the control board being exposed to all of the humidity and other moisture from within the dishwasher door. Then after that being fixed, about six months later, the door latch broke again. Its minor enough that you may not realize its broken until you open the door panel back up again. The plastic is breaking Im sure due to the heat and moisture, but its just minor enough that it will not make contact to indicate the door is closed. I got that replaced again for another $140. Four months of that getting fixed and Im getting the same result, no functionality at all from the control panel. In other words, the control board is out again!Ive spent almost as much in repairs that I have for the dishwasher in the first place. As many have stated before, why are we not getting quality products anymore? I went to the Maytag website to see if there were any other additional recalls for this dishwasher, and the recall site was down, so I called. The lady on the phone, as pleasant as she was, indicated that the recall for the heater coil was already performed, which I already knew. I asked, due to the other problems Ive had and money Ive spent, if there were any additional recalls, and of course the reply was no. Im used to staying with a reputable company and providing loyalty to that company for quality products and service, even if I have to spend more initially in order to spend less overall. Obviously, Maytag is now out of the question for future business or referrals. This dishwasher is getting replaced before I put one more dime into it.

Maytag Centennial Commercial washer - We purchased this washer approx 4 years ago and have never been satisfied with the job it does. Most loads require a second rinse cycle and then perhaps not a good job on the clothes. We have had it repaired twice as it makes a god awful noise and does not do a wash cycle. I believe the repairman has replaced plastic pulleys both times and now it needs the repair job done again. High efficiency has led to high disappointment. We will be looking at getting an older style agitator model as we know they work! Maytag will have to pay us to buy anymore of their products, not impressed at all.

I purchased a Maytag quiet series dishwasher (Model Number: MDB6759AWW) for $500.00 in May 2009. Three months later, I started experiencing difficulty with the control panel. One light would continue to blink and it would not do anything else. I called to have it repaired but by the time he was to come out, it started working again only to stop working again the next week. On 7 Oct 09, the repairman came out and replaced the panel. Then, about six months later, it stopped working again. I called again but canceled the appointment because it started working again. Then, after having it for one year, it stopped working again and I called only to be told that it was no longer under warranty. Now, we cant get the control panel to do anything. From all the other similar complaints I have read, it seems like there is a defect with the control panel. A dishwasher should last for more than one to two years. This is very frustrating.

I have a 4-year old Maytag refrigerator. The back of the top freezer compartment is frosted and frozen, and the bottom refrigerator is now too warm to put food into. I wonder if a lonely non-busy Maytag repairman can come and fix it? Oh wait! Thats the deceptive false advertising that I bought into when I wrongly assumed that these were great appliances. I cant afford to get this fixed and after what Ive read from other peoples experiences, it wouldnt matter anyway. It would just break again anyway. What a joke! Ill unplug it and try replugging it in after it thaws and maybe that will work.

I have a Maytag dishwasher MDBH980AWQ10, within the 1st month of owning it there were issues. Now the electronic control panel is shot, dishwasher wont turn on. To replace it...almost the cost of what I paid, warranty has run out. In the last 7 years we have had problems with 5 various Maytag products, replaced our Maytag dishwasher which lasted 20 yrs and Maytag washer & dryer that lasted 30+ years and ran without a hitch. Maytag has not been helpful at all and their authorized service repair. A&E Repair Service is a bigger scam than they are. It is a waste of my finances and time to buy major appliances every 5 years. Each and every one of their new appliances has died shortly after all the warranties have run out. Im beyond frustrated, disgusted, and financially drained. It does not pay to be brand loyal to Maytag for they are no longer respectful nor appreciative of their customers. I would love to give corporate the opportunity to enjoy the same products that are in my home...in their homes...as well as the experience of their customer service. Last Maytag purchase for me! Is there anything that I can do in the meantime so Im not stuck with their lemons?

Dark clothes are left with residue on them, have to run another rinse cycle to get them clean. Been having this problem since we first got the machine. Anyone else having this problem or got a solution to fix it?

On May 11, 2010, I purchased a Maytag washing machine from Lowes. On June 22, 2011, the machine wouldnt empty out on the rinse cycle. Lowes was called as the machine was only one month out of warranty. They dispatched Appliance Plus for a service call which would be $80.00 just to diagnose the problem. It turns out the machine needs three parts - a timer, an ATC switch, and a rinse switch. All totaled, this will add up to over $300.00, plus the $80.00 for the service call.Appliance Plus tried to contact Whirlpool to see if Whirlpool would at least pay for parts, being it was only one month out of warranty. The answer took 5 days and the request was denied. I was told I should contact Lowes Service Advantage and maybe they could contact Whirlpool for a special consideration, again, being it was only one month out of warranty. I made the call and they said to give them two business days turn-around for an answer. On June 30th, Lowes said Whirlpool was looking for the serial number and I provided it. They told me to give them another 2 business days turn-around. On July 3rd, I again called Lowes and they informed me that they still hadnt heard from Whirlpool. Finally, on July 7th, I received a call from Lowes saying Whirlpool denied the request.

April 26, 2011, I purchased a Maytag top and bottom fridge from Home Depot. After a few days, I noticed frost starting to form in my frost-free freezer and the fridge wasnt really that cold. I adjusted the dials thinking that may do the trick. Nothing changed, it was all the same and instead, frost was thicker. I contacted Maytag, which by the way was taken over by Whirlpool. I told them my situation and since I had just bought the fridge, I wanted a new replacement. They told me things didnt work that way, that I had to honor the warranty. Fine, we are almost entering October now. I have had several services calls, I have written to the Better Business Bureau, I have lost a few hundred dollars worth of food for it would be full of ice and had to be thrown out, I have contacted the executive offices of Whirlpool but they, along with the Better Business Bureau are not doing a thing. Tomorrow, once again, I am having a service call and once again, I know the issue will not be fixed. All I wanted was to either get my money back, along with extra for the loss of food or for them to just exchange it for another one, since this one was purchased with a problem. I really dont think that its right that they are able to get away with this. Just looking at this page, I see that there are plenty of people with this same issue. What is being done about it? If it were them with this issue instead of us, you know ** well they would have had a new fridge the following day. Here is my model# M1TXEMMWQ and serial# VS04658359 for this fridge. My 16-month old dishwasher, which is not being used everyday, broke its control panel. Maytag will not fix it for free because they only back it for one year. This is a major appliance, shouldnt it last more than 16 months? The cost to repair is almost as much as a new dishwasher.
