Product Reviews:

I bought 7000.00 dollars worth of LG appliances for our new house. The water dispenser never worked. The ice maker quit within three days. The motherboard went out in three weeks causing the refrigerator to go out and all our food lost. No recourse. Waiting for new parts now. Don't buy LG.

I purchased a home and a Viking refrigerator was in it. It was hard to register and they needed to know other numbers that were printed on the packaging in order to register all their appliances. So, you have to call, which was a pain and you couldn’t register it via phone. You had to then go on their website and do it. Also, my fridge was not installed properly by the builder and I’ve had trouble getting someone to service to reinstall it for me. Other than that, the fridge is fine.

My parents took delivery of a Samsung fridge model RS267LBWP on Sept.13, 2007. It worked for 32 months and then had "no cooling" problem. This problem has now gone on for 26 months and 7 service calls (at considerable expense) to the Samsung authorized repair center. Their Customer Service experience has been dreadfully poor as they are unresponsive to what is really a lemon. I have tried to escalate to the Voice of the Customer Manager who referred me to the Office of the President (yes, OOP - spell it backwards and that's exactly what it means). Take this notice and warn people to never buy a Samsung product. They do a great job of marketing and advertising but you're on your own if the product ever has a problem. Sony and Apple lead the way in terms of customer service. I will stick by those brands and the excellent service that they have provided in the past.Just an addendum: A family member bought a 52" Samsung LED TV 3 years ago and now the TV is developing dead pixels in the middle of the screen. This is obviously a Samsung problem but they have no solution to the problem and won't offer one other than a new $800 screen. The end of story - buy a Samsung product if you want but don't say you weren't warned of the major customer service deficiencies this company exhibits.

This is the worst customer service ever!!! I can't believe that a company this big operates the way it does and no one seems to care or do anything about it. DO NOT EVER BUY ANY PRODUCT FROM LG or their affiliates, if they have any. I bought a bottom freezer / French door refrigerate 3 years ago and granted, I did not purchase the extended warranty but, I do have a ten year warranty on the compressor, which went and, they replaced it with another bad compressor. I am going to make a very long story short by saying it's been over 3 months and my refrigerator is still not working and they continue to give me the run around. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!

Owned Samsung fridge 2 1/2 yrs., water leaked into both produce drawers for some time. After much research, it appeared this is common and not worth the repair attempt so I've lived with it. Freezer appeared to thaw and refreeze slightly since purchase, does not open adequately, and now has defrosted completely. All food is a loss, doubt I will be able to find anyone who will even agree to work on it. Junk, junk, junk. Period. I would give a negative rating if possible.

I bought my French door LG refrigerator in Jan 2018. Now - in March 2018 it is no longer cooling. I bought the extended warranty through Lowe's. They sent a tech to assess the problem. Compressor needs replacing. After only 14 months of use! Yes the extended warranty (that I paid $269 for) covers the expense of fixing it - but the tech had to order the parts so am still without fridge until those parts come in and he can get back here to fix it. Am very disappointed in LG! Won’t buy this brand again. Am concerned to be thinking I may have to replace the compressor on a yearly basis.

It was very dependable. When I had it serviced they did a good job. I had the refrigerator for 15 years. We replaced when we remodeled the kitchen. We replaced all our appliances with another brand. The refrigerator is still running in our basement.

The unit hasn't given me any trouble over the two (2) years we have used it. The bottom freezer works well and was a concern when buying, but has worked out well and convenient, but you must keep the refrigerant coils clean.

Is there a zero star rating? I am extremely dissatisfied in my Electrolux refrigerator. It is just over two years old and have had to have the main computer board replaced (twice) and the evaporator fan to the tune of $1,000! This should be under warranty for a minimum of 3-5 years for these major parts. Model Number is E23BC68JPS5. It is ridiculous to spend an additional $1K on this appliance given I already spent over 3K to purchase it not long ago.

Refrigerator is only 4 years old and must be defrosted every 2 or 3 weeks as a thick sheet of ice forms in the bottom of the freezer. Also the appliance frequently emits loud cracking noises.
