We purchase the Samsung stainless steel side by side with freezer on bottom
We purchase the Samsung stainless steel side by side with freezer on bottom. Looks great but the ice maker doesnt work. Called serviceman, came out and replaced the ice maker, worked for a few day then started freezing up, called serviceman again. They replaced the third ice maker. Work for a few days and it started freezing up. Now it is out of warranty. Will cost a lot of money, the ice maker has been trouble since almost the beginning, I cleaned out the frozen ice out and now the ice is very wet, it drips water out of the ice maker out of the door and on the floor till it completely freezes up. We had to go out and purchase an portable ice maker so we can have ice.

Ditto Ditto Ditto to all of the complaints listed below. Why am I having these problems (hammering noise and lot of water) with a $1,600 refrigerator that is 1 1/2 years old? The repair service is scheduled for 5 days out! I was told by a non-affiliated repair man that the engine needs to be replaced. From everyones complaint on this and other websites, at least I am prepared for the worse: AWFUL AWFUL PRODUCT AND SERVICE.

From last Thursday March 23, 2017 our Samsung stove got thermo cracked while doing cooking. Contact customer service. Sent them pictures of cracked glass of stove. Stove is manufactured in May 2016. We bought it few months back. They deny to send any help or tech to take a look. They said is physical damage and they dont cover it. Talked to their supervisor Mike.Updated on 04/05/2017: Talked to their supervisor Mike ** and their executive sale supervisor. Even they suggested us to show stove to their own company tech. And we paid $50 from our pocket. Even their own tech made a decision that it was not physical damage. It was thermo cracked but Samsung supervisor never accepted their own employee results or decision. How could trust on Samsung company when they dont trust or respect their own employee decision. They denied to help us.

We purchased our Samsung Model RS261M Side by Side Refrigerator in May of 2010. By August of 2013, it quit, after leaving the smell of burnt electrical components. We purchased it from Sears, so we called Sears to repair it. The Sears repair person stated that the main circuit board failed, which would be a minimum of $400 to replace, and that likely it would need other sensors or motors. He stated that the Samsung 26 CF refrigerator is infamous for poor quality and reliability. He stated that the compressors go out often and that many times Freon leaks out of the system, in areas behind the cabinet that makes it impossible to repair. He recommended against the repair and advised us to purchase a Kenmore brand. I called Samsung Customer Service. They said that they would call me back in two days to talk to me. Very poorly made product. Refrigerators are known as durable goods that are designed to last 10 years or more. This Samsung lasted 3 years 3 months and 19 days, one third of the industry standard.

Have been having problems with ice maker, freezing up constantly cleaning water and ice from under crisper drawers, and now the control panel is not working. I am very unhappy with my samsung dishwasher. It was only three and half years old and the soap dispenser broke, the top rack wouldnt side out, because the cheap plastic piece that moves the rack in and out broke. Then the drain error and low water level starts flashing code symbols comes on, and the dishwasher just stops. I DID call the samsung eight hundred number, and the lady just mostly said sorry, its out of warranty. We cant help you. Call for repairs. Then try to find some one in the area that works on samsung. No one works on them. I had a maytag dishwasher that I replaced this one with, that was twenty years old (even dried the dishes, which this samsung doesnt dry the dishes, they are still wet) and it still worked, except the bottom was rusting out. So now I have been looking around for a replacement, and I am totally confused as to what to get. Can anyone help me?

This refrigerator was the most expensive in the store, but I thought it would be the best and it is the absolute worst. For $3,500, you would think you would not have to defrost the area of the ice maker. It works like the cheapest brand in the store. It doesnt give you ice cubes, just pieces of ice that go flying everywhere. Ice gets built up and clogs the ice maker and you have to take an ice pick to remove it or it wont make any ice. I absolutely hate it and Im stuck with it for a good long time.

My family and Ive been inhaling this smut for almost 2 months. Ive decided to get an attorney involved. This is unfair!

RF series fridge freezes up, leaks water on to floor causing damage to flooring. Ice maker also freezes up. Must defrost fridge for an entire day every month or so. Samsung will not share the root cause of this failure. The solution offered by Samsung is to defrost it for 24 hours. Our $1000.00 dishwasher was placed curbside after 1.5 years. Microwave oven also failed after 3.5 years. Dont purchase Samsung appliances unless you are willing to replace the appliances every 2 years.

When I purchased my Samsung refrigerator, at the time was the number 1 rated refrigerator of its type. From early on, I had started having troubles with the lower ice maker plastic parts breaking off. The service tech said that this was a common problem. Later we started having issues with the upper unit not cooling. Again I had a service tech come out only to tell me that the Twin Cool Plus system is another common problem. I was told to empty my refrigerator and turn it off for 24-48 hours to allow the unit to defrost. Or I could use a blow dryer and try to speed up the process. Is this what it has come to?? I called on several occasions to discuss what they would do to solve the Twin Cool Plus problem, and all they wanted to do is to send another service tech at my expense to look at the refrigerator. Nothing ever gets resolved, nor do they seem to care.

June of 2014 we purchased a Samsung refrigerator model# RS261MDRS/XAA. As soon as it was delivered and installed we left for vacation for 3 months. When we returned, a corrosive stain was on the water dispenser that cannot be removed. We did not even hook up water supply so it was not caused by water. Contacted Samsung, they sent out a service tech to look at the issue. Samsung concluded it was a COSMETIC ISSUE. As of now after many calls to Samsung they stick to their conclusion. So I have a brand new damaged refrigerator caused by a defect in manufacturing. This substance is like a acid that came from above and ate the plastic insert. There is no way in this world that this issue was caused by the consumer. Where I stand now is if I call service on this issue it would be at my expense. Hands are tied on a cosmetic issue. SAMSUNG, you need to listen to the consumer instead of text book notes.

Buyer beware. Samsung will not reimburse you for out of pocket expenses for repair of their refrigerator. I purchased a French door Samsung fridge in June 2017. I tried to remove the ice bucket. It was frozen, I called customer service, the fridge was only 3 months old. Samsung sent their appliance tech over to install a new ice bucket. The tech said to unplug the fridge so the ice would melt and he could replace the defective ice bucket. I said, Then the meat & dairy products would spoil. I was told to put it all in the bottom freezer, with dry ice on top. I said, Who will pay for the dry ice. Samsung will reimburse me for the cost of the dry ice. Well that never happened. After numerous phone calls I decided to contact BBB in New Jersey to file a complaint. A rep from Samsung did call after BBB sent them my complaint. Well I got a different story from the Samsung rep. Samsung does not reimburse customers for their out of pocket expenses, even if their fridge is only 3 months old. This is a Billion Dollar Corp. I told the rep and Samsung wont refund me $51.00. KEEP AWAY from Samsung appliances unless you want a pile of problems.

Yeah like l did it. Haha. Dont purchase these expensive products. They are garbage and dont stand behind defective products. No wonder our landfills are full. And they didnt get dumped because they still worked and were passed onto the needy.

We have purchased a Samsung slide-in range double oven ($1842.29), model (NE58F9710WS/AA) (1 year warranty plus 1 year extended warranty), on 8/22/2015. First time, I did use the self cleaning function. First issue: The TCO (=partition part MELTED in the back of the stove). Technician came: diagnosis 4/4/16, fixed 4/11/16 and 4/26/16. I have been told to use steam cleaning function instead of self cleaning option!!! But one of my criteria purchase always has been to buy an oven with self cleaning function which is so opened to work properly and safely. Second time I did use the self cleaning function (5/31/2016), halfway (1 hour 10 min) thru (3 hours in manual) the control panel died, the oven door locked, the range, the stone countertop, the kitchen cabinets, the glass backsplash way too, too hot!!Calling right away 18007267864. The customer service told me to wait at least 8 hours to let the oven cool down. I couldnt believe my ears. Next day, oven door still locked, calling again customer service explaining I didnt trust anymore this product, asking for an exchange or refund, refusing a repair service. Samsung product Review denied my request over a long week fight with agents, supervisors, executive from customer service, I had no other choice than accepting a service repair or keeping an useless range-oven. Technician came (6/9/2016), diagnosis temperature sensor BROKE, got it fixed. Technician witnessed our closest kitchen cabinet from oven have been damaged by the excessive heat!! 2 hazard issues in less in 2 months!! I think it is a huge safety hazard. Now, I am questioning about the safety of my home because of the Samsung cheaply constructed range oven.

I purchased a Samsung microwave when we were re-doing our kitchen. I wanted a nice upper-end unit with a good fan so I got the Samsung SMH9187ST with a 5-speed fan that had plenty of CFMs to do the job. After approximately 2 years, I got an SE code on the LED read out and the unit stopped working. Nothing worked on the unit including the light; all buttons were dead. After contacting Samsung @ 1-800-726-7864 they informed me that there had been some problems with the Control Pad and that they would replace the control pad at no charge. Sounds good? What’s the problem? After four days, I was informed by Samsung that they have no authorized Samsung techs in my area and they couldnt send the replacement part to anyone other than a Samsung authorized tech (catch 22). Samsung has offered a pro-rated refund. This is not good! I have new custom-made cabinets, external venting and a tile splash up underneath the microwave. Another model from another manufacturer is not going to line up with the existing conditions. The consumer is left holding the bag! Consumers, be aware of purchasing a product, such as Samsung, with no service support!

I bought a Samsung microwave about a year and half ago. At the time it was a fancy microwave with all the bells and whistles. Great right?! Yea...I thought so too. So after shelling out quite a bit for a microwave, the door actually failed within 1 year. It just randomly came up with an error code and stopped working. Apparently, this was a well known issue with this model and Samsung replaced the door. However, the replacement door is also now under a year of use and the back side of the door is plastic. Well it literally crumbled into pieces. I called Samsung and they told me conveniently the manufacturer warranty is 1 year total and the replacement door is not warranted for an additional year. So since I am 4 months outside of the original warranty (not when the new door was replaced) it would cost $250 at least to fix. Its a practically new microwave and it needs $250 to fix. Samsung does not care about customer service at all. I will no longer support their products. This is not right.

I have spent many hours on the phone trying to get this situation resolved, and I only get that same thing, Well send a repairman out, but the repairman cannot fix the problem. There is a sensor to defrost the fridge and send the water created down a drain for evaporation. This sensor fails to work causing water to pool inside either under the crisper drawers or the cool select pantry. If the water is not noticed, it will ultimately flow from the unit onto the floor. Sometimes this sensor will also cause freezing of the fan that keeps air circulating in the refrigerator. Personally, I had this problem repaired on 4/3/12 and today, 10/29/12, I have called Samsung to report that it is happening again. Their customer service stated that the repair is not covered, is out of warranty and they will not pay to replace/repair. I decided to do a little research via the web and after typing in various forms of the following question: water leaks in bottom of fridge, water under food drawer, water leaking from fridge, etc, I have come across over 2,000 inquiries to this question just from the Samsung website. When I visited other sites, i.e. AppliancePartsPros.com and ConsumerAffairs.com, I saw another 500 plus complaints. So how do we get Samsung to admit this is a defective part and correct the problem for all of us? I slipped on my tile floor because of the water and now have my ankle in a brace. Other folks have complained about flooring becoming damaged, food loss, all sorts of problems because of this defect. I cant afford to keep calling a serviceman out for the same problem and probably lots of others feel the same. Thank you for looking into this matter.

Samsung has discontinued making two parts that we need to fix the induction cooktop. The circuit boards blew up and there are no replacement parts being made. Samsung doesnt stand behind their products. They simply told us sorry. Sorry?! That stove was over $2000 and cannot be fixed! How irresponsible of Samsung! This current one is just as bad, if not worse. Our dishes are never dry. They all need to be dried with a towel since theyre so wet. And the recommended jet dry does not help. The worst part about this product is our dishes are never clean. Samsung has not been the least bit helpful and claims it works just fine. We purchased our Samsung in August of 2014. We were gone for an extended period of time and the fridge was barely used and was off most of the time after delivery. We returned in mid March and a couple of weeks ago in early April 2015 I placed a double wrapped (plastic and butcher wrap) package of frozen fish on a fridge shelf to thaw for cooking in a couple of days. Two days later, when I went to the fridge there was a terrible odor... fish. I noticed the thawed fish had leaked and spilled all over the shelf and down into the drawer below. I removed it all and cleaned it up and tossed the fish too sickened to cook it. About 4 days or so later I noticed that the odor remained. I recleaned the entire fridge. I noticed that the shelf on which the fish leaked, the one that I had cleaned thoroughly now had a reddish brown stain all along all sides under the tempered glass between the shelf frame and the glass. Ok, I thought, I must remove the glass BUT the glass is sealed into the frame and I could and cannot remove it for proper cleaning. Now, the clear fluid that leaked under the glass has a reddish brown color which indicates to me that bacteria were feasting on the fish juice that spilled from the package. I was alarmed and ran hot water from the faucet directly onto the shelf sides. NO LUCK! I then tried soaking the shelf... one side at a time, in my sink in hot soapy water. STILL NO LUCK. I called Samsung, live chatted with Samsung and submitted emails and called my appliance dealer. We purchased an expensive 5 year warranty for service. I thought they would make this right. All of the shelves, freezer and fridge are sealed. You cannot clean any spilled liquid!!! I even tried inserting a single edged razor blade under the side to let water in but it would not. I asked Samsung for directions on how to clean those sides of the glass. THEY SAID THEY HAD NO SUGGESTION. My appliance dealer also said they could not help. After approximately 8 hours on the phone with Samsung I now have a refrigerator that is a bacteria factory and cannot be cleaned. I am going to report this here and now I am going to search out a class action lawyer who will take this case.I have NEVER owned a fridge that did now allow for cleaning of the glass, or if sealed, did not allow fluid leakage. SAMSUNG HAS A DESIGN FLAW. If you care about your health and the health of your family DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG PRODUCT. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE HEALTH RELATED ISSUES. Samsung offered to send out a service person. HOWEVER, if this was a cleaning/maintenance issue, I would have to pay for a $55.00 charge. Do not even try going into their self help or request for service by phone or online. Both methods ultimately shift you back into a service request circle of forms that grow more complicated.I spent more than four hours on the link that I was given that would solve my problem. I took the link and filled out all the information, uploaded photos of the problem (bacteria growing) and scanned and uploaded my sales receipt. It then flipped me to a self-help page that one could NEVER escape from until Samsung clocked you out. If you are human, like me, and occasionally spill liquids in the fridge, DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG, IT WOULD BE SAFER TO BUY AN ICE CHEST AND A BAG OF ICE IF YOURE LOOKING FOR SAFE FOOD STORAGE. Thats it, Ill never buy another Samsung product! Now, Im off to find a class action lawyer to make them fix this problem. Ive felt nauseated ever since noticing this reddish brown bacteria. Dont know if it was/is the bacteria I cant remove or the stress that Samsung has caused!

I have experienced the same complaint everyone who owns a Samsung microwave seems to have - the SE error code. I contacted Samsung and it took four chat sessions and an angry phone call to have a service person come out. I was told the control panel would be replaced, no charge on epidemic warranty; servicing agency knows nothing about it. I was told I would have to pay for the control box if it needs replacement. It seems like Samsung is well aware of this major problem, but has chosen to do nothing until your unit fails - and it will. Then they horse you around for days to get it serviced. I have lots of Samsung products with no problems, but this microwave has totally destroyed my Samsung vision. It is just an out and out piece of crap. The ventilation system sucks, which I believe is the cause of the SE code because moisture builds up in the control panel. If I have to replace, I guarantee it will not be with another Samsung.

We replaced all of our kitchen appliances (Refrigerator, dishwasher, gas range, microwave) with Samsung appliances in Dec 2016. We reviewed the CR book and thought we picked a good one. Should have looked on here first. The ice maker froze up on Christmas Eve and then again in mid-January. We bought the 28 cu ft french door with bottom freezer. The ice maker is inside the refrigerator. The water leaks down behind the ice bucket and freezes around the mechanisms. It wont dispense ice and makes a loud knocking noise. The ice bucket is also nearly impossible to get out when this happens. We called Samsung for support and all 3 (yes 3) calls were handled horribly. They dont support their products or have a care in the world about providing customer service. The only way to resolve the issue... remove everything from the freezer and refrigerator and defrost it. This appears to be an ongoing issue and I am not looking forward to owning this refrigerator for the years I expected to. I understand appliances sometimes have issues and my 1-star rating of the appliance is largely geared towards the awful customer service provided by Samsung. This is an expensive item that I ensured had a warranty when I purchased it. I expect it to work and if it doesnt work properly and is under warranty I expect it to be repaired. Buyer beware.

We purchased this refrigerator from Lowes in April 2013. In December 2013, we noticed that the ice cubes were smaller, and the water dispenser flow was much slower. I contacted the Samsung Help Center and was told to turn up the water pressure in my home, even though it was (properly) set at 60 pounds per square inch! I did turn it up to 90 pounds per square inch, and it seemed to be OK --not back to normal-- for a short while!Several months ago the ice cubes began to be much smaller, and the water flow reduced again. Ive tested the water supply to the unit, and it is just fine. I believe Samsung refrigerators have a basic engineering design flaw, one that Samsung will not admit nor own up to... Thus, my recommendation to NOT BUY a Samsung refrigerator! Coincidentally, we have a GE refrigerator purchased around the same time for our Florida house, and we have NEVER had a problem with it at all. Come on Samsung, own up to the problems with your design, and either FIX THEM, OR GIVE US OUR MONEY BACK!

The Samsung refrigerator stopped cooling and the unit is barely five years old. After reading the reviews on this site and after being told that the replacement part was going to be $300-$500 (and may not fix the problem), I will be buying a new unit! Luckily, mine came with the house I bought and not out of my own pocket.

I purchased The Stainless Samsung French Door with 2 drawers - Bottom Drawer Freezer - (Model #RF24FSEDBSR/AA) March 2016. I had issues from the first day. Ice maker was putting out approx 10 cubes per day. The cubes looked frostbitten. Water leaking from ice maker down the front of the refrigerator. Ice maker wasnt sealed properly causing moisture inside fridge. I have had many issues with the ice maker and it was replaced three times. I had another issue where my freezer stopped freezing and I lost the entire contents. Tech told me to turn it into my insurance, which I didnt. All within the first year. Since I was having so many issues Samsung gave me a free ONE TIME service call to replace another ice maker. I continued to have issues with the ice maker and it finally stopped working altogether. I thought mine was the only one. Come to find out there are so many others with the same issues. I contacted Samsung again once I knew there were ongoing issues and mine was not the only one. I explained that I had a failed back surgery with restrictions on lifting and these 20 lb bags of ice are not easily handled. I told them that I wanted what I paid for - A working fridge, freezer and ice maker. They ignored my request. This fridge was over $3000. SO FAR they have completely ignored me.

Our Samsung dishwasher has already been replaced once (right after we got it). I have many of the same problems Ive seen here especially the soap door not opening AT ALL during the cycle, multipacks not dissolving thoroughly, dishes NOT CLEAN! Samsung customer service is equally crappy. Its worse than dealing with a government office! I wish I had my old, portable, hook-up-to-the-faucet dishwasher back! It was 10 times better than any of the new, name-brand, expensive dishwashers out there now! Unfortunately we gave that one away. When this Samsung p.o.s. dishwasher finally quits, Ill just get something else rather than go through the nightmare they call customer service again!!!!!

I believe Samsung on purpose! made an oven that does not allow you to put foil on the bottom of the oven to catch any spills. Knowing most people do put the foil on the bottom; this is the way they get more money from the consumer because the melting foil and the damage of the coating that came off is not covered by the warranty. I had 2 service people come out 4 months after purchase for another problem and neither of them said anything about the foil that was on the bottom of the oven. Your own service people are not educated about the products they are working on. Now I have an oven I can no longer use. Its less than a 1 year old. Purchased on 4/17/19.It says in the manual page 8, (But not in Bold) that the foil could cause electric shock or catch fire. That seems pretty important but you didnt bother to make that in Bold. Because you want people to use the foil/liner and ruin their ovens. You put stupid things in bold like, use care when toughing the cooktop. Like I need to be told that! Really Samsung, you have gone backwards in developing new products. Why would you design something that not every oven user will know what not to do unless they read your user manual. What about when you sell a house. Should the new owners automatically know that your oven could cause an electric shock or catch fire because they put a liner on the bottom of the oven. It seem like your lack of care for your customers really speaks volume of what kink of people you are! You set your customers up to fail, and that makes you a big failure! The oven already does not follow the California law of not having any cancer causing materials. Wow! Samsung, thanks again for caring so much about your buyer! You had a designer who was not educated on why the foil on the bottom of the oven is so important. And probably has never used an oven. Pay attention to your buyers! Get better designers who have experience in using the product! Just because they have a college degree does not mean they know anything about what they are designing! I will make sure I let everyone I know not to buy Samsung and why!

Purchased a Samsung refrigerator, Model # RF217ACBP in July 2012. Within 6 months, the ice maker broke and there would be huge amounts of water sitting in the produce bins. Had the ice maker replaced by the Sears tech and just emptied water from bins. Then, 1 month after warranty expired, the fridge started making a loud noise and would not ever stop. The 6 cooling vents in the refrigerator ice up and the temp is about 50 degrees causing all the food to spoil. I have unplugged it and defrosted it numerous times but within a week or two, it ices up again and all food is lost. I contacted Sears, where we purchased it and asked why they carry and sell a product that is obviously defective. They gave me a number to call for Samsung. Called them and they said that it was covered by them for 5 years but I would have to pay for the first service call but everything after that was covered. In reading ALL of the complaints online, I learned that to fix the problem was approx $500 and that only lasts for a short time until the problem returns. This Samsung product should be recalled since there are thousands of complaints regarding the same issue. We dont have a lot of money and a refrigerator that is less than 2 years old should not have a problem that is obviously a design flaw that does not have a permanent fix or repair. I have called local repairmen and none of them want to work on it because they know it cant be fixed and do not want to pit their reputation on the line. How can something like this with the magnitude of complaints not be addressed?

We bought our Samsung fridge in Dec 2014. In June 2018 we called Samsung 6 times because our ice maker stopped working. Nobody would call us to schedule an appt to come and fix it. We had to have it repaired for by ourselves (was told no one will work on warranty repairs on Samsung because they take too long to get their money from them). Now a year later the refrigerator side of the unit is completely out and not working, and we are going through the same thing all over again, no call backs from Samsung’s warranty repair people in our area. I had to move all my chilled items to a cooler and to my old garage Whirlpool fridge that is over 12 yrs old and it still works great, even in the summer heat in FL in a garage. I will be buying a Whirlpool again this weekend. Never again Samsung! They need to stick to making cell phones because they suck at making appliances, and their customer service stinks and reputation sucks!

The gasket around the doors to the refrigerator part are weak and will have to be replaced soon. Although the refrigerator an freezer keep food cold and frozen, we know this appliance will not last like our previous one which we still have and isnt a Samsung. Dishwasher with water wall - It started to be defective a couple of months
Dishwasher with water wall - It started to be defective a couple of months after purchase (stopped working and showed a message on the top of the door to indicated what the problem was). Got repaired. But since at first, the problem was sometimes present and sometimes it was okay, they told me it could not be repaired and I would have to pay for the visit if when he comes, he cannot see the problem. So I had to wait for it to be defective all the time for them to repair it. This happened after a month since the beginning of the problems. One year later was defective again but this time more than one problem had to be addressed. The pump had a problem. The water wall isnt moving so the dishes that are on the lower part are not washed. And the motor had to be changed (I dont know if this is the same thing as the pump). And I had to wait a whole month for the parts to be available so these problems had to wait. Then someone came and repaired, or tried to repair. The motor or pump works better, it doesnt make that weird noise anymore, but the water wall isnt repaired, the repair didnt work. So the water wall will have been defective for a month and a half if this time he is able to repair it, or longer if he is still not able to repair it.The extended warranty applies only if the same part is broken three times, not if one part is defective, then later another part is defective and so on. Also the extended warranty can apply if in the end the dishwasher will not be repaired, but how long will I have to wait for them to decide they end the trying to repair period of time? Also, this time they will probably replace the same part that had been replaced during the first year of warranty. But since it happened during the first year of warranty, it will not count for the extended warranty that started at the end of the first year. So even if the part is replaced a third time, the first time will not count. In other words, there is not much chance that my dishwasher that is always defective will be replaced. I am stuck with it. I will never buy a Samsung product again. This is a shame, it is always defective and all this time waiting for a repair wastes time of my warranty since nothing is happening. They should replace it after three problems, not three times the same part broken. And they should extend the warranty during this whole month when I am waiting for it to be repaired. It was an expensive dishwasher. What a waste of money.

Purchased my Samsung French door fridge from Lowes in June 2014. Immediately noticed that ice comes out very slow. After a year the ice stopped coming out at all. Could not figure out how to get the ice maker opened up so called Samsung. They told me to change out the water filter ($60) and that would fix it. I assured him the one year old water filter was not the problem but he guaranteed me it would fix the problem. Of course it did not. Because you know you are going to be on hold with them forever I waited several months to call again. Now the door flap on the left side door has had a spring broken and does not close properly. Called again they finally agreed to send someone out to look at it. Need a new door flap ($80) and when I described the ice problem the tech says oh yeah, I have fixed lots of those. Samsung knows about the problem. It costs $200 in parts. What?? I called to argue that they should pay for the parts. Getting the runaround and not getting anywhere. Worst $2000 ever spent! They came out and did some type of repair and in another month, we had to call them again. The refrigerator is only 18 months old and should not be having problems at all (We had one that lasted 20 years). We talked to the factory rep via phone and they just basically said, Sorry, but its out of warranty. Too bad. It will be the last Samsung fridge we ever buy. In fact, we will probably junk it and buy an LG which we really do like a lot. Just not right to have unsolved problems and have to pay out of our pockets for the repair.

We bought a Samsung over the range microwave and paid nearly $500 for it. It worked well for a couple of years and then all of the sudden started turning on by itself. Not just the light or the turntable, but it was actually heating as well! Thankfully we were home when it started happening so we were able to prevent what Im sure would have been a major fire. Checked Samsung support site and apparently this is a known and rather common problem with their microwaves, with the only apparent fix being unplug the unit immediately and pay for someone (from your own pocket) to come and fix it. Unfortunately companies as large as Samsung have no interest in dealing with issues like this until someone dies, so recommend NOT buying a Samsung microwave unless you have fire insurance and are hardly ever home.

Samsung RF263 French Door with bottom freezer - We bought this less than 3
Samsung RF263 French Door with bottom freezer - We bought this less than 3 years ago. The first BRAND NEW fridge we have ever purchased. We got it because it was supposed to be excellent and we were told that Samsung is reliable. Im a teacher who spends extremely long hours at work and my husband travels for his job. We NEED reliable. The first few months, I noticed mold in the door seals. Weird, I thought. It seems like the seals on the doors are not very good, then -- and then the freezer would build up all kinds of horrible frost on the outside AND inside of things. It would do this off and on for no rhyme or reason.... Then, a few weeks ago, everything in the back of the fridge started to freeze. Not a lot, just a little. I checked temps, etc, moved stuff around. My summer vacation just began (this is when teachers actually begin to have semi-normal lives, go on Dr. appts, fix appliances, etc), and we went out of town for the weekend. When we returned early today in order to go to a funeral, I heard the fridge making an odd sound. Opened it up, and the entire back is iced over, just dripping in mini-ice bergs. We empty the whole thing, try to remove the back -- no dice. It wont budge. We use a hairdryer to remove the ice and let it sit while we attend the funeral (freezer is working alright, or at least as okay as it ever was, which isnt so great). We come home and it is not working. At all. I looked online and saw literally DOZENS of complaints, all the same.We are thinking we will just go out and purchase a new fridge -- costs of repair will probably be as much as a new one eventually. Based on reviews, it looks like it would do no good to keep repairing it over and over. This LEMON that we paid a HUGE price for is wasting our time. Im thinking of going back to Craigs list and purchasing a second hand fridge -- they run for years!!!!! Im SO angry!

Apparently I am not the only one that has had this problem. Im entirely appalled at the prospect of my 4-year old, my 7-year old, and I drinking ice water that has plastic and metal particles and pieces in it. At this point, I am not even sure how long we have been drinking contaminated product. My refrigerator is right around 3.5 years old, so it is not under parts warranty any longer, but I am confused as to why there hasnt been a recall on these icemakers? Another consumers review fits my situation exactly besides the timeline of events. I would also like to know the composition of the materials that were being sloughed off into our drinks. I just found this problem today and Samsung Customer Service is trying to make me buy new parts and pay for installation. My main concern is for my health and the health of other consumers, and in my opinion, there needs to be a recall for these ice makers and some sort of compensation due. Not just a, Well, your warranty is up, so here pay more money for some parts that probably wont fix the issue. No thank you. January 3, 2015 I purchased a scratch and dent Samsung french door refrigerator with ice maker in the freezer unit. It came with a 1yr. warranty from Samsung and I purchased a 5yr. warranty from Lowes. It was delivered and installed by Lowes on January 6, 2015. It started to produce ice and it produced half a gallon bag of ice and then quit. We went through the manual which gave us no direction. I turned off the ice maker so that it would not burn up. I called Samsung January 9, 2015. They walked me through the troubleshooting and told me that because the ice maker was turned off, I had to wait 48 hrs. for service. They called me back on January 12, 2015 and again a different associate walked me through the same trouble shooting process but added a twist, which was the rollers where touching the floor and therefore Lowes had to come back out and give the refrigerator a 2 inch tilt. That seems ridiculous however we jumped through the hoops. I went on live chat with Samsung January 15,2015 and again that associate was going through the same trouble shooting process. Really, does anyone do service anymore? I let him know that it is unacceptable to have a refrigerator only one week old. With full warranty and not be able to get it serviced. Very unhappy with Samsung and will never buy another appliance from them.

I purchased the Samsung DMT 300 dishwasher in May, picked up the unit in June, and moved into the house in October. Each time we called, we wound up with someone who could only read possible solutions from a list, and gave suggestions such as pre-wash the dishes in the sink first, use high-efficiency laundry detergent, all the new high-efficient washers have this problem. We could never get to anyone who could authorize a service call, or even give us the name of the nearest authorized service company. Once the washer switched into extended warranty mode, we were given the name of a local (50 miles) service company who has offered to come and take a look, but are doubtful that they can help. We bought a Samsung Appliance package in September 2014. I have not been happy with any of the appliances. You must wash the dishes before loading them into the dishwasher, or the food will still be on them after a heavy load cycle. I do love that dishwasher is super quiet, which is the reason I was attracted to it. My Range makes a rattle noise when the fan kicks on, and I do not believe it cooks as well as my previous unit. My microwave sensors are WAY off, and we have tried to fix, but again, either the popcorn burns or pops 3 kernels. It too rattles. These are all issues I can deal with.My biggest issue is the refrigerator. We are currently on our FOURTH unit. The first unit would only cool to 42 degrees. The second unit wouldnt even power up when they brought it out. The third unit the doors would not close completely even though they worked and tried to adjust. Installers said the brackets were not aligned correctly. So, I finally after months of hassle get a new one. Whew... Or so I thought. I have had 5 service appointments to fix the same issues on this unit and am still having issues. When I contacted Samsung today, I was told they were sorry, but it was out of warranty. Even though the issues are documented. We escalated and were told they would do us a one time favor to have another technician come out. Im not sure why. It is clearly a design flaw. My ice is slush, I always get about a 1/8 cup of water first before hitting the ice button due to the melted ice. The ice drips to the bottom of the panel and then freezes like a rock jamming the ice maker. I am told that it is due to putting groceries in my refrigerator (someone PLEASE tell me this is NOT the answer I got!) What are you supposed to do with a refrigerator if you cannot put groceries in it!?I was also told that the low ice production was not due to melting (mind you I have puddles of water) but due to overuse. We have 2 adults and 2 kids and use a very minimal amount of ice. If it cannot keep up with our demands, it should not even be an option! I use the power freeze and power cool button when we stock the fridge to keep it from warming down too much, as the last technician recommended, but this isnt the answer either. Id love to have my $3K+ back and go back to my ugly, but extremely useful old appliances! The pages of reviews tell me this is a lemon, but Samsung refuses to do anything about it!

I purchased this beautiful refrigerator RF4287HA. After 13 months, an error code showed up on the display. I called Samsung and they sent out a repair service. When this particular one was made, the assembly line forgot to put the protective plastic cover over one of the sensors which allowed the sensor to drop down and be cut off by the smaller plastic drawer in the freezer. Repairman said we should get our money back for the service repair since this was a defect when this one was made (even though it was about 5 weeks over the 1-year warranty).Basically, somebody did not do their job when our refrigerator was made. After 4 calls to Samsung, they told us to send a statement from the repairman and they would refund our service call fee. After 2 months, a message was left that it was not going to be refunded. I talked with the service rep and he said, Sorry, its not going to happen. I assured him that I would make sure everyone I come in contact with would know what kind of company Samsung is. Samsung Dishwashers 5E Drain Code Error Flashing Delicate Light Applies to many models. After much research, this helped me. Dishwasher went through all cycles but stopped after trying to drain flashing delicate light. Check the drain line and sink drain for plugging and kinks. Make sure the drain pump is working and not noisy. If it is check the motor resistance with a meter replace if needed from underneath the unit Part # DD32-00005A.MY problem was the rubber check valve / check vane at the bottom of the unit was twisted Part # DD66-00045A and would allow water back into the dishwasher. Hence all the complaints about dirty dishes. A Philips screwdriver is all you need to disassemble the bottom portion of the pump assembly from INSIDE the dishwasher and replace it. It is located at the very bottom of the sump outlet and you pull it out with needle nose pliers. Check the pump assembly diagrams online.Remove the small cover panel + clean off the white ECS sensor Part # DD82-01118A. If you get an E1 error check the resistance with a meter and replace from underneath. Clean out all the washer nozzles they plug up with food particles and re-assemble. Run a sanitize cycle with vinegar as described on Samsung website. This worked for me but there are other problems that may cause this like a control board or relay. Good luck! This dishwasher dw80j7550ug is a real work of crap. I only saw the reviews too late to see how bad it is. It doesnt clean your dishes. It stinks all the time you open it. Even empty. It doesnt dry your dishes. Samsung says open the door to air dry the dishes. I have to rinse the dishes off extra good. I paid 700 dollars for a dishwasher that I practically have to wash the dishes before I put them in it. Air dry my dishes... I might as well wash them and put them on the counter. Samsung sends repairmen out that say everything is working according to their specs. Dont buy this or any Samsung product. They are the lowest rated dishwashers on the market. I wish they would recall them. Thanks.

I tried to warm up some leftovers and the Samsung microwave model SMH9187ST just stopped. I reset the time and tried again only to have the thing display X and 0 and then went dead. I checked the circuit breakers and all were fine. I checked the manual and unplugged the unit, waited a minute and plugged it in but no luck - still dead. I called customer relations and Gerardo informed me that the unit was out of warranty and he could schedule a repair at my cost. I informed him that this was our first Samsung appliance and having it break just over 2 years when we only warm up leftovers is not acceptable. I told him that we had a LItton counter top microwave which we had for over 20 years without any problems and sold it when we purchased this unit. He checked for any recalls and said that there were no issues similar to mine and I would have to have it repaired. I told him this would be the first and last Samsung product I will ever buy and I will tell my friend and relatives not to buy this crap. I, too, checked Consumer Reports prior to buying this unit just like one of the posters here and bought it because they gave it a good rating. I will not trust them anymore.

We purchased a 3 door Samsung refrigerator Jan, 4 2016. The ice maker drips water through the ice dispenser and several times ice has lodged in the maker preventing new ice to drop and consequently build up ice. The repairman says this is a common complaint and we can either replace the ice maker ($500), shut the entire refrigerator down for 48 hours to let everything thaw or use a hair dryer to try to help the thawing process. He says it is an engineering flaw involving the air flow. Of course once you melt the ice it will happen again. I paid $3000 for this appliance and based on the amount of bad reviews I just now read regarding Samsung refrigerators, Samsung should for pay for this consistent problem to be repaired.

After 18 months and final payment to Best Buy for my Samsung refrigerator, my ice maker stopped working. The fridge has consistently been leaking water at the left corner of the fridge and the front panel under the ice dispenser and inside the door. Called Samsung to complain, they say its out of warranty and will not pay for the repair. Did some research and discovered there are thousands of people on the web and facebook at SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR RECALL U.S.A. NOW making the same complaints. There are also lots of people posting photos of reimbursement checks for Samsung products including my fridge but not after months of hassle. Now, Ill be joining the many that have filed complaints with the BBB of New Jersey.

Our Samsung RF220N refrigerator was delivered by Best Buy in May 2014. It failed in August 2018. It is now February 2019, and we are into month 6 of the warranty process, without satisfaction. Samsung Authorized repair people determined that the sealed refrigeration system had failed. This was 4 years and 4 months into the 5-year warranty for the closed system. The authorized repair people tried 4 times to repair the system with OEM parts. Each time it has failed within 36 hours. One set of OEM parts from Samsung arrived already broken inside the shipping box. The authorized service company has declared the refrigerator not-repairable using Samsungs own process, yet Samsung will not authorize a replacement or reimbursement, as provided by their own warranty.Samsung Customer Service prevaricates, obfuscates, misdirects, and does not return promised calls/texts/emails. They regularly deny my fridge is under warranty, despite my repeated submission of documentation. I have never spoken to the same person twice, and I suspect they use pseudonyms so contact info can be lost. They deny receiving my emails, and texts, and routinely claim that the last Customer Service person I talked to did not make any notes in the file. They have changed my claim ticket number 8 times. By the bye, the current number is in the 5 billion, 120 millions. That is over 16 claim numbers for every person in the US. At 8 numbers Ive fallen behind the national average. I suspect Samsung is delaying my claim until the warranty period has expired, and then they will deny all responsibility whatsoever. Our extended family has had several other Samsung devices fail: clothes washer, clothes dryer & DVD player. Need I mention the flammable self-combusting cell phones? Fortunately we never had the ice maker in this fridge connected to our plumbing, or we would likely have been in the claims process after only 1 year. Maybe we were unfortunate in that we might have ditched this faulty device long ago. I sincerely believe that a $1500 refrigerator should last longer than my electric toothbrush. We will never buy another Samsung product (yes, we are slow learners). Nevertheless, Never Again.

We have owned our $2000 refrigerator for just about 2 years when the motherboard and the inverter broke down. Everything in the refrigerator had to be thrown away, including the $150 of groceries we just purchased! We have been without a refrigerator for over 2 months because getting it serviced and fixed takes very long. Ordering the part alone is a feat in itself. The part would not be received by Samsung until November 6 making it even longer to be fixed. They would receive it then send it to the parts company here on Oahu. Well, being that we have a party on October 31st, my husband ordered the $111.00 inverter on his own and paid extra to have the part rushed over. We will receive the inverter on Tuesday, 10/21 and the maintenance person will come on Wednesday to fix our refrigerator. We owned a GE for 11 years with absolutely no problem prior to buying this one. Obviously we made the worst decision to buy what we thought was the top of the line! Jokes on us! We will never again buy Samsung again! Crossing my fingers that it gets fixed.

Samsung Refrigerator RS2530BBP - We purchased this refrigerator from Conn’s Appliance in March 2009. About 4 months ago, we noticed that the refrigerator compartment was not cooling. We researched the problem on the internet and found a lot of people had reported the same problem with this particular model. Following the suggestions on the internet, we removed the panel in the rear of the freezer compartment and found the evaporator core was completely covered in ice. We used a hair dryer and melted the ice. This resolved the problem, but only temporarily.Within 2 weeks, the refrigerator compartment was warming up again. We, again, took the panel off in the freezer and melted the ice. One of the suggestions we found was to replace the sensor on the evaporator core so we ordered a new sensor and replaced it. This did not resolve the problem. We called 4 different appliance repair companies and none would work on a Samsung refrigerator. We have resorted to thawing out the freezer every 2 weeks to keep the refrigerator cold enough to keep our food from spoiling. At this point, we are shopping for a new refrigerator and we are NOT looking at Samsung. We have Samsung TVs in our house and Samsung cell phones and have not had any problems with them but we will never again buy a Samsung refrigerator.

We purchased a Samsung refrigerator and stove a year ago. The first time I went to use the self-clean feature on the stove the main component fried. It was Thanksgiving week and a time I really needed the oven. It took 2 weeks for a repairman to fix the problem. Two weeks ago we started having problems with the ice maker in the refrigerator. Slushy ice and at times, wed just get a handful of water. Upon research (I know, something I should have done before the purchase), I learned that it is a common problem with Samsung refrigerators/ice makers. People were told they had to empty the thing every 6 months or so, unplug it and let it defrost! Seriously?? In this day and age? The thing is supposed to be frost free. So upset with this purchase! I would avoid Samsung in the future if looking for appliances. They look good, but break down within a year of purchase.

They sent 2 guys (horrible technicians) did not know how to do the job. They decreased my water line completely off almost. They said because of that our previous fridge did not have any problems. You know what after they decreased water line I showed them how slow it drifting. They turned around and said dont know what to do we have to call Samsung. We called, they send 2 old faces I met 3 days ago. Playing on water line again, tried to do increase & decrease, I told them it is not water line. It is mechanical problem. Unbelievable. They ask me call Samsung again. I was so angry and kicked them out. So everyone stay away from Samsung. So far so good as you can. I rate NO STAR for Samsung.

A week ago, I used the broil setting on my newly installed Samsung Double Wall Oven. Within 5 minutes, the oven reported Overheating and a C-21 error. The oven was VERY hot. Of course, I immediately called support since the oven was under warranty and only a little more than a month old. It took a week to get service from Samsungs authorized repair team - Dish.com. I was dubious when the service person started looking up repair instructions on his phone. (Only one arrived for something I knew would require removing the 265 lb. oven) After reading the repair instructions for a while, he decided he would need help in removing the oven and called for a second person. After arrival, they proceeded to remove the oven. The stand they set up to support the oven wasnt secured and I watched as they dropped the oven on the floor and it proceeded to tip over and put multiple dents and scratches in the new Samsung refrigerator. So now I have a damaged refrigerator that up to this time was 100% scratch free. Once they replaced the control board (which is a part that shouldnt fail in less than a month), they started reinstallation. While reinstalling the doors that have to be removed to pull the unit out - they dropped the upper oven door. It landed on the latch of the lower oven bending the latch, so the oven wont close. Of course, in the process, the oven door finish was chipped. Not just scratched but chipped down to raw metal. This is all not to mention the dent in the floor and paint/drywall damage. So now going on the second week - I still have an unusable oven and the bonus of a damaged refrigerator. They tell me it will take 3 days to get someone out to look at the damage. No indication of when itll be made whole. As an architect and Director of Design with over 750 luxury apartment units on the drawing board right now - I wont be specifying Samsung appliances.

It was $400 to replace the ice maker plus labor; we didn’t do it because the repairman said there was no guarantee the new one would work for long. Next the alcove where the drinking water station is located was not lined with stainless steel, so we have rust stains on the front of our white refrigerator!! In 2014 we bought a Samsung dishwasher at Lowes. We had always bought Bosch but the deal being offered by Lowes/Samsung was too hard to pass up, I wish we had. I wont bother with the model number because after reading the reviews here it is obvious it doesnt matter, they all have problems. I am pretty good at fixing things myself and our dishwasher is still running, but I have better things to do in my retirement than fix a dishwasher! If you go to Youtube you will find many videos showing you how to fix your Samsung. My advice is DO NOT BUY a Samsung dishwasher! If you own one, make sure you put a cup of vinegar in AFTER the wash cycle starts, (this is particularly important if you are on a well and not public water). If you do it before you start the dishwasher, it will pump the vinegar down the drain upon startup. Also after each wash, clean the door gasket at the bottom of door where it attaches to the dishwasher. Black gunk/mold builds up there, pretty disgusting. Based on reading other reviews, if you are out of warranty and cant do your own repair, take your loss, and put your hard earned money into purchasing another dishwasher.

Samsung has not responded to our complaint other than to suggest - after 1/2 hr. of discussion - that we call a repair company they recommended. That company said our induction pots dont work on this stovetop because of an engineering issue. They said there was nothing they could do. We returned to Sears in Nanaimo, BC. The sales person plugged in the identical Samsung range, with our pots on it. The pots heated up on the replacement range! The first range was obviously defectve, but neither Samsung of the repair company admitting it. Sears immediately offered us a complete exchange for a new Samsung, or a higher-priced (but unattractive) replacement range. Sears has been great; Samsung ... poor.

The first thing to go was the defrosting fan made from plastic too small to handle the big refrig French doors, that cost me $254.00. The next was the ice maker, another piece of plastic broke, another $254 to get that fixed. Now the refrig is building up ice again which means I will be defrosting my refrig with my hair dryer. I will not purchase a product made by Samsung again. One of the components went in the microwave, I only use it for defrosting and heating water, another wonderful product by Samsung. I understand from the repairman that many parts are being used in many refrigerators. I also own a stove made by Samsung. Im waiting for it to break. When that goes, Ill be buying a product American made.

We ordered a new Samsung dishwasher from AJ Madison. We ordered it, received it on 11/28/12. My husband installed it that night. The next evening, I loaded it, ran it and opened it. Soap was never released. I ran it again, and it was the same thing. The little door never popped open to release soap. I called the next morning. The girl from Samsung didnt really know why but theres a sensor & if its blocked, maybe it would not be released (she couldnt tell me where sensor was located). Now, its Sunday, 12/2/12. I ran it again, making sure there was nothing too tall or blocking - same thing. I called & a service call must be set up. This lady said the other person lied - there is no sensor, only for water level. She gave me the name of the service company & number. They would call the next day. The guy left his name & number. I tried several times to call him & the service company (the phone rings continuously & I cant leave voice mail). I called Samsung again - a lengthy call. It turns out its not that company. Its a different one. Dont you think I should be told this? They have my number, & I was told I should call them to set it up. We set up for Saturday. AJ Madison called & said they dont have a repair company that works on Saturdays & I had one for Monday. No one told me about that. Monday was not good for me. We called Samsung up . Well, we had to argue, of course, but some nice guy came on Saturday, 12/8/12, and said, The part is broken; it needs to be ordered & replaced (he doesnt have it in truck). When the part comes in, someone will come back & replace it. I ordered a new dishwasher - not a floor model, clearance center, or scratch & dent. Many, many, many phone calls to both Samsung (who is giving us the runaround) and AJ Madison (who is giving us the runaround) have left us with a broken new Samsung dishwasher which has only been used 3x and is broken from the start. I ordered this & think I should have some right to getting one that works the first time correctly (not broken). Im still washing by hand. Furthermore, we have offered AJ Madison to take it back & we are willing to spend more money w/ them & get something else (my husband is even willing to bring it to them). They will not do that if it can be repaired again. I ordered a new dishwasher - not a floor model or scratch & dent. We are extremely dissatisfied w/ both companies. I should have some right to get a properly working appliance for my money. We have been greatly affected by Hurricane Sandy with 4 & 1/2 ft water in our home. Now we have to argue & call daily for something that was defective. Give us a break.

Refrigerator is three year old and cost about $2000. Last week the evaporator fan (inside of the refrigerator) started getting noisy. After looking online and discovering that this is a common issue I contacted the support people at Samsung. I received a canned response that said it could be caused by lots of things. They recommended that I unplug the refrigerator for 24 hours to let the evaporator thaw and for the ice to melt. If it happens again Im supposed to call for a repair appointment. We had to move all of our contents out of the refrigerator to let the evaporator thaw before we could get the cover off to clean out the drain. I bought this for my 2yr old Rottweiler, Tika. She loves watching Animal Planet, but I don't feel comfortable sharing the one located in our grand cinema room anymore since she growled at me aggressively when I tried to change the channel last time. They say compromise is the secret to any relationship ( including your pets), so the solution was actually really really simple: purchase the same TV again for her room. As a satisfied customer, I can now safely watch my football and my dog can continue to discover her true roots, and how humankind has bread her species over generations into a docile commodity you can put a leash on and assign a name to. Overall, it's a great TV. I was seriously considering a Christie projector at first, but the cost of ownership was a little too high for me (e.g. bulbs and maintenance).

I purchased a Samsung French Door refrigerator model RF23HCEDTSR from Lowes on 8/22/15. Two years later on 9/25/17 my refrigerator is freezing all my food. Tech said that the control board is bad therefore the fridge is running continuously. The part was ordered and has NOT come in after 7 weeks and Ive been told that its on a National backorder waiting for the mfg to produce the part. It appears Samsung has a full defect on this board and it should be recalled and replaced at no charge. If the part were even available it would cost me $389.00 to replace/repair but after reading all the horrible reviews and money spent trying to repair the fridge it may be wise just to trash it and buy a GE or Whirlpool that can at least be repaired if needed. Not happy that Lowes would sell a product that clearly has major issues.

Updated on 01/25/2019: Wow. I cannot believe that Best Buy still carries this garbage, they are going to ruin their own reputation with this crap in their stores. Samsung creates crap appliances, crap. We have had a repairman out to fix the fan. He spent hours defrosting it, did nothing in the end, and charged over $200. The fan is already a few weeks later buzzing so loudly and is frozen up, again. (Told that this is pretty typical)After emailing the repairman multiple times, calling and getting a voicemail that is just random talking and not an actual voicemail message, the voicemail was full. We called Samsung directly after this experience and they advised we get in contact with the repairman to resolve the problem. THANKS. We are out of warranty of course, so they do nothing. Absolutely nothing. We accelerated to the manager or whatever who was a woman in a call center out of the Dominican Republic. She had no advice other than to call another repairman. I will never buy Samsung anything ever again, I will not say good things about them, and I will tell anyone and everyone I know to never ever buy Samsung appliances. NEVER.Original Review: I am so displeased with EVERY Samsung appliances we purchased. The fridge being the absolute worst, it’s been just barely a year and we already have a fan blown, not creating ice and who knows what that loud buzzing was that has quit working. They look great but they are not worth the price paid. Don’t bother, get the brands who know what they are doing.

We purchased this range in the Fall of 2016, Model #NE58K9430, with digital dials. There are several things that are disappointing. It is very hard to keep the glass top clean (this is not my first glass top range). Cannot use pot or pan that is not smooth on the bottom as it will scratch the surface. Consequently, I had to purchase new cookware. If you get too close to the digital panel, even your clothes will make it come on. If you get too close, the lock will come on and the only way to get it off is to flip the fuse box!!! I am short and reaching over to clean the top, the timer button will come on, the warmer button will come on, the self clean button will come on, and that is with only clothing touching. I am at the point of throwing this in the garbage dump. No wonder Lowes had it on sale, which even at $1000 it was no deal. Cannot find order info, but was purchased at Lowes Hardware, N. Myrtle Beach SC. I would NEVER recommend Samsung Appliances to anyone.

Both caused the same problems after a year from purchase. I will never purchase a Samsung refrigerator even if price is better as repairs and aggravations outweigh money spent. Never buy!!! Just bought two new GE refrigerators which last forever.

We purchased our Samsung dishwasher in late 2014. It needed repair within three months when water was not pumping out of the bottom of the unit. The repairman said that it was a common problem... so common that he usually had several of the replacement parts on his truck. This time he didnt so it took two trips so there was a total of almost two weeks without the machine. Since then the dishwasher has been very noisy and I should probably call the repairman again but I figure something else will go wrong sooner or later. We did purchase a Lowes extended warranty. I find that the machine is hard to load. Perhaps I should have taken one of my plates to the store to try it out. It cleans ok... not remarkable but no major complaints especially if I wash things well before I put them in. I am sorry that I bought this item.
