I have had my Samsung refrigerator for about six months. I awoke on Christmas morning (I have the entire family over for Christmas lunch and dinner) to find my refrigerator was dead. The entire contents were warm to the touch, so it must have been off for some time before I noticed it. I was forced to throw away hundreds of dollars worth of food. No one is open on Christmas. I had a house filled with hungry people and a refrigerator filled with rotten seafood. The only place we could find to eat was a Chinese restaurant (it was like a bad rerun of the movie a “Christmas Story”) till it was all said and done I ended up paying almost $400 at the restaurant. I called Samsung and they said they would send a repairman over but not for two weeks. I take off work the day of the appointment (I work second shift and the repair shop would only give me an 8-5 window); the guy never shows. When I contact the repair shop they apologize and then tell me he wasnt coming to fix it, he was only going to look at it and that he would have to order parts. Once the parts came I would have to schedule another appointment to have it fixed. I explain I can’t keep taking off work and the woman on the phone assures me that she can get a repairman to make me his first stop of the day. On the day of the appointment I waited all morning and finally had to leave for work just before 2:00. The repairman calls me at 2:30 and gives me an attitude for not being there. At this point I call Samsung again asking for another repair company. I am informed this company is the least busy and if I get another company it will take even longer. I made another appointment and wait all morning and you guessed it, the repairman shows up again after I have already left. At this point I am furious. I call Sears, the place where I purchased it, and they send a guy out that same week. It ends up being an entire board that is dead (part # da41-00404e). The repairman tells me it would take him 5 minutes to fix it but Samsung does not let them keep parts on hand, they have to be ordered. More waiting. I had an appointment today and the repairman replaced the board and also found a fan that was bad (couldnt tell it was bad until the board was replaced). To add injury to insult the fan also had to be ordered but it was back-ordered. That coupled with having to make another appointment once the part gets here means I won’t have a fridge until the middle to end of next month! I have a child that lives here part-time who has special needs. I have medicines that need to be refrigerated as well as very expensive formulas. I have been keeping them at the neighbor down the street house but this is very difficult to say the least especially when it comes to feedings in the middle of the night.

The fan began making loud noises and I called a repair man assuming that it was an interior problem and would be covered by the 5 year warranty. The Samsung refrigerator model RF263BEASR is slightly over two years old. It turns out that the fan must be replaced plus the fan cover. The Samsung person said that it wasnt under warranty so I am stuck with a $390 bill. I have had Sub Zeros that have lasted years without a problem. This is a huge disappointment and I would definitely not buy another Samsung appliance.

We bought a Samsung 26-cubic ft. French Door Fridge that was manufactured July 2011. It was installed in October 2011. After 12 months of use, the fan motor broke and the fridge vents iced up. This led to the temperature in the fridge going up, and all our food spoiling. We had bought the fridge through Sears, and had an extended warranty. After 6 weeks, Sears could not source a replacement fan motor from Samsung. We have heard that Samsung only makes a refrigerator model for about 3 years or less, then changes it. They rarely make spare parts, and if they do, they are hard to get. We are going to get a new fridge because Sears cannot source a part for our one year old fridge. Im amazed that such a small part is going to render our fridge useless. What a waste of a fridge, and what a disappointment in Samsung, who we thought would build a good product. This was a $2,300 fridge and should last more than a year, and should have available parts. A very good example of the low quality of appliances these days.

The worst product I bought last year, Samsung 5 in 1 551L RT56K6378SL/TL refrigerator. Do not burn your hard earned money on Samsung India products. I bought the refrigerator for Approx 68000/- and the motherboard on it went bad as if the timer was set to go bad when out of warranty after one year. Now they want to charge me another Rs4000/- to replace the motherboard. Samsung India uses all faulty, substandard products. DONT BUY anything from Samsung India.

I have a Samsung side by side, four drawer refrigerator bought in July 2013 and have had trouble with the ice maker since then. The ice maker freezes up every couple weeks. I use a hair dryer to melt the ice from the mechanism. I have problems with the ice getting clogged up and will not dispense. Another problem is that it does not matter which setting the dispenser is on, crushed or cubed I only get crushed ice. I do love the refrigerator with the fourth drawer temperature adjustment. I keep drinks in the drawer and the grandkids do not have to open the doors. Otherwise the refrigerator is just a refrigerator.

Purchased a model RF23HCEDBSR in 2015 and have had issues with icemaker since day one. Called Samsung and they said to remove the ice tray and empty once a week to keep it from freezing up. Thats insane. Im at a point now, where it wont dispense ice, as it is frozen up somewhere inside. Have tried a hairdryer in the past, but this time I am unable to remove the tray. Its stuck!!! Called Samsung again today making them aware of the continuing problem, since day one.... and of course they want to charge me to look into their defective product. I couldnt be more disappointed and will NEVER PURCHASE A SAMSUNG PRODUCT EVER AGAIN!!!! More like SamSuck!!!!

I am following up on my last post on this appliance. I was promised a callback yesterday in regards to my freezer not working in my 7-month-old Samsung (4-door). I called today and was told by Alicia at Samsungs executive customer relations line that they will not honor my request for reimbursement for the food I lost. She said because the freezer started freezing again, there is nothing wrong with it and it doesnt need a service call. She said that if they sent someone to service it, they would have reimbursed me for the food. I told her to send someone as appliances are not self-healing and there has to be a problem for this to happen in the first place and I am afraid to put anything else in the freezer. She told me I must have pushed a button, such as the child lock button for this to have happened. I have never touched this panel. It is exactly as it was when it was installed. I also wonder why if the child lock button had been pushed, would all the food thaw out? She said they could do nothing for me. No service call, no reimbursement.

I bought a Samsung microwave about a year and half ago. At the time it was a fancy microwave with all the bells and whistles. Great right?! Yea...I thought so too. So after shelling out quite a bit for a microwave, the door actually failed within 1 year. It just randomly came up with an error code and stopped working. Apparently, this was a well known issue with this model and Samsung replaced the door. However, the replacement door is also now under a year of use and the back side of the door is plastic. Well it literally crumbled into pieces. I called Samsung and they told me conveniently the manufacturer warranty is 1 year total and the replacement door is not warranted for an additional year. So since I am 4 months outside of the original warranty (not when the new door was replaced) it would cost $250 at least to fix. Its a practically new microwave and it needs $250 to fix. Samsung does not care about customer service at all. I will no longer support their products. This is not right.

My wife and I bought a Samsung RT5000K Top Freezer Twin Cooling Plus™, 350 L refrigerator for Courts Jamaica Limited. The first month the front plastic on the tray under the freezer compartment split down the middle while it was being wiped off. It was as if it had dry rotted. In the first three months the door started to bubble and this is the one that has the stainless steel look. They replaced the skin after a lot of complaining and then the door would hardly close by itself when they were done and they left all the plastic on.Now the rubbers are starting to crack on the door and we have not had the thing a year yet. The door is making a creaking sound once in a while when you open it and the refrigerator from day one has been making weird sounds. It also runs very hot and for an inverter type, the electric bill has not gone down at all. Have been trying to find the year of manufacture and cant seem to get any answers. I believe it was in storage a long time before being sold. Very disappointed and would never buy one again. Will continue to take to social media to get some answers. I had the issues with my fridge in Jamaica and I was able to get support sending an email to **.

Two months later, the ice maker quit working again and they came back out and replaced that one. Ten months later, they had to replace it again and now its not working again. How long are these supposed to last? The model number is RF26VABBP; the BOM number RF26VABBP/XXA. Two years ago I purchased a Samsung refrigerator (model #RS267TDRS). About a year after we bought it, we started to have problems with it NOT COOLING. Well needless to say, today it officially BROKE and all of our food has SPOILED. I immediately contacted Samsung and I spoke with Tiffany ** (operator #**) and Shonda ** (operator #**) of their customer service department. She told me that there is nothing that she can do to replace the refrigerator because it is out of warranty. After pleading with her that I have three small children under the age of five who need to have access to milk, juice and medication that requires refrigeration, she told me that she would schedule a service call (ticket #**). The problem is that I live in a rural part of Virginia. They wont be able to come to look at the refrigerator for a few weeks, let alone fix it on the spot or that it would be covered since it probably would be something that is not under their warranties. I need help! I cannot wait this long to get it looked at! I have already lost $500 worth of groceries and if I replace it with new food, we dont have a way to store that food. Please if someone at Samsung is reading this, take action to HELP ME. I am writing this post in hopes that someone at Samsung will see this and be able to get me a real resolution to this problem because I dont know what to do (maybe exchange for another used model or even a new one?). I currently work for the Marine Corps and we cant afford to buy another $1,500 refrigerator, especially since this one was purchased brand new 24 months ago from Lowes. I dont like dropping the we are a military family moniker, but the fact is I am a veteran who needs help. Again Samsung, please help! I am desperate since as a veteran, we dont make the type of money that most other families do. Not that any American family makes enough money to keep replacing refrigerators every two years. To be fair, I will update everyone if there is an amicable resolution to this issue.

After less than two years, the compressor fan on the refrigerator went out... at less than 2 years old! We took a chance in buying the Samsung and after this, I wont recommend them. Stick with the more notorious brand appliances - Kenmore, GE, etc. Ive never, ever had an issue with a refrigerator going out that wasnt at least 10 years old. Ridiculous! Were out $180 for parts and service plus a whole fridge full of food. Samsung appliances are crap! With all the complaints on here, youd think there would be a class-action started!

I really want to share my bad experience with Samsung Microwave Model ME18H
I really want to share my bad experience with Samsung Microwave Model ME18H704SFS/AC. I wish I would google Samsung microwaves before buying one. I just read report from people who bought microwave in February 2016. I bought mine on May 2, 2016 from Best buy in Vancouver Canada. I also bought 5 years warranty on this microwave. On 28th day after purchasing we tried to warm up bowl of soup (in microwavable dish), and we felt a burning smell coming from microwave. When I opened the door I discovered a fire on the right wall of microwave. I was able to stop the fire with kitchen towel. I cannot operate this microwave any longer because it is a fire hazard in my house.Same day I called to SAMSUNG customer service. They gave a case number and told me that somebody will contact me. Next day I called them again and they transferred me to some kind escalation department. The manager from escalation department said that if he will get pictures and receipt from me now, he will speed up the process. I emailed him pics and have not heard anything after that. On Monday, I called again to customer service. The manager told me that she could not find me in her database, she also said that they were not able to open up my pictures. I told her to transfer me to the escalation department. After 30 min wait I was able to talk to a guy who confirmed receiving pictures. He also was able to open them up. He told me that he sent my case to the Head office. I asked him why nobody sent me a simple email with acknowledgement of receiving my email. He did not have any answer for me. I asked him what is the reasonable time to get an answer from Head office. At the beginning he said 48 hours and then he did not know. He also said that he has no idea what kind outcome I should expect. And just to add to this story... I called to the insurance provider for Best Buy. They told me that they cannot touch my microwave because it is a factory defect which appeared in first 30 days. I am not even upset anymore. This company is a joke. Samsung really needs to get a lesson for producing dangerous and unreliable appliances and treating consumers so poorly. I will wait for 48 hours (legally you have to give them some time to rectify the situation). If Samsung will not replace their lousy microwave I will take this matter to Small Claim Court and I really want to.

Like everyone else posting here, I bought a Samsung Over the Range Microwav
Like everyone else posting here, I bought a Samsung Over the Range Microwave. At the time, Consumer Reports thought it was the best buy in microwaves. Last time I bother to read Consumer Reports. My Samsung isnt even 2 years old; but of course, no longer under warranty and it stopped working. I get weird symbols appearing on the panel, then SE, then a row of 6s and beeping. My husband tried to do what other people having this problem have reported doing on the internet. Unplugged it for a day, tried resetting the key pad. The bottom line is the keypad is flawed and even if he can coax the microwave to work for a short time, it ultimately quits working again. My husband went online to purchase a replacement keypad from Sears. Sears discontinued the part. I guess they dont want to be mixed up in this mess. I dont blame them. I called Samsung and good luck. They could care less about making good on a clearly flawed design/part. They told me they could arrange a repairman to come to fix it at my expense. I am not throwing away more of my money trying to fix this piece of junk. Samsung obviously wont stand behind their products.Time to buy another microwave; it took a lightning strike to kill my first GE microwave of 20+ years. I am headed back to the GE showroom. This was the first Samsung product I have ever bought and it will be the last. I really hope that they recorded my conversation with their representative on the phone today. Maybe when the company goes bankrupt, they will figure out in retrospect why! They deserve to go bankrupt.P.S. I saw another disgruntled customer has posted a video on YouTube about his microwaves bizarre behavior. He has the same model as mine and his microwave is doing the same thing that mine is doing. Watch the video and weep. Fight with your wallet and dont buy Samsung products!

Purchased this refrigerator December 2010 for my parents. Within 6 months the vegetable drawers began filling up with water. Parents decided not to replace. January 2nd 4 years after purchase the motherboard went out, a new compressor was ordered and installed, then the New Compressor developed a leak, and now another service call has been set due to the refrigerator still not working. Service has been to my parents home January 2, January 9th, January 16th, January 26th, January 29th and scheduled February 4th, 2015. Samsung has been contacted, their response was its out of warranty. My response is a $1200 refrigerator should last longer than 4 years, if not then the construction of the product is defective. Samsungs response - too bad. Dealing with the Executive Customer Service representative was very unwilling to send me to a supervisor, Im still waiting on a call back. Definitely do not purchase Samsung equipment they do not stand behind their products.

We have a Samsung refrigerator Model# RF266AERS/xaa that stopped cooling at 3 1/2 years. A certified Samsung tech (only one in SE Wisconsin) was unable to repair. The problem was in the sealed system which has a five year warranty. He contacted Samsung and took all the necessary documentation as he was directed and sent it to Samsung. That was 4 weeks ago during which time I have called and been connected to executive customer service seven times, each phone call a minimum of 40 minutes on hold. I have sent my sales receipt twice. They always have problems locating some piece of information but always give a new transaction number and a very polite vague excuse. I have called the certified dealer twice. They resubmitted info and the second time even had the regional manager for Samsung send it in. That was one week ago. At my last call on Oct 2, 2014... This is ongoing and I am now waiting again for 2-3 days. Mind you these calls are all 40-60 minutes long and it has been 6 1/2 weeks without a working refrigerator! It also appears from other submissions, this is a big problem with Samsung and others.

We have bought Samsung electronics for many years. In 2011 we bought all new kitchen appliances, top of the line Samsung. It is now 5 years later 2016 and we have a dishwasher that needs a new motor, the most expensive part approx $600.00. Now our fridge has leaked from the water dispenser and flooded our kitchen twice. It just starts pouring by itself. Of course this happened while we were not home and then again during the night. We thought the first time may have been a fluke but it was not. The electronics on the door stopped working. The replacement part at $400.00 did not work. We also have a leak inside from one of the vents in the back that leaks down the back and pools under the crispers. The tech at this point is not sure what is wrong with it. He now suspects the motherboard. The leak inside will require the whole inside back of the fridge being replaced. These repairs are going to make it not worth fixing. Of course Samsung says Im sorry there is only a 1 year warranty. They will do NOTHING. The appliances are barely 5 years old. How can they possibly not stand behind their products with problems such as this? We all know appliances last many many years with no problems. The tech we are using used to be a Samsung tech and reported how hard they make it to be a tech. The techs even complain about Samsung. I gave 1 star because you have to put something there but I feel less than zero. We will never buy Samsung appliances again. We also will question any further Samsung electronics. We spend so much money on Samsung from cell phones, tablets, tvs, etc. you would think they would do something to help us out. This is the thanks we get for being loyal customers for many years. We now have to buy a new fridge that will be around $2k if we are lucky. The dishwasher will have to be replaced. We have not had trouble out of the range or microwave yet, we hope we dont! What a way to have to spend your hard earned money. Again, we will never buy Samsung appliances again. Be careful because we have a Kenmore washing machine that is made by Samsung. Kenmore is not Kenmore any more. All you have to do is ask Sears, they will tell you. The appliance brands today are not what they say, you have to ask what company made the appliance. I have a beach property that I have recently bought a dishwasher, range, hot water heater and AC. The company I purchased the different items from say that there are a few manufacturers and then a name goes on the same thing with a few differences. Buyer beware!

I have read all of these current complaints and issues with Samsung Refrige
I have read all of these current complaints and issues with Samsung Refrigerators, I feel bad for all of these consumers. There is something you can do to get somewhat reimbursed. I can say I purchased the 3 year warranty and was glad. After 15 months the Refrigerator froze and stopped the cooling fan. Took 11 days to get parts to have it repaired. Then after the first repair a second incident occurred when the freezing happened under the meat department drawer a week after it was fixed. Had to have a tech come out a second time. Finally they sent me a refund for the purchase price of the refrigerator. That was Asurion did, they were the warranty plan from the Home Depot. If you have a food loss issue you are eligible for up to $300 refund for each occurrence. This did happen twice. It froze and wasted my wifes Insulin 2 times. I was not reimbursed the full amount but I received 2 checks for $300 a piece after filling out the one page application for Food Loss and Medication reimbursement and sending in the repair receipt. Also I did file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against the Home Depot and Home Depot came through and sent me a $500 gift card for the difference for the loss of the medication and the cost of me buying another refrigerator while I was waiting on this one to be repaired.I also filed a complaint with the BBB against Samsung and twice someone from the Office of the President from Samsung called me and said there was nothing that could be done. So whatever, they need a national recall on their products especially the black stainless refrigerators. So with a little perseverance you can get some remedy out of this bad situation. The Better Business Bureau complaint against the Home Depot really helped and the Home Depot Asurion extended warranty plan really helped also. Complaining to Samsung was useless but now the Complaint is in there and the more in there hopefully will help someone else not make this bad decision of a Samsung Refrigerator.

Don’t buy Samsung! They are not responsible nor do they take ownership for their manufacturers defects. After only 3 years all 5 knobs have broken on my range purchased Dec 31 2015. I cannot use the range and Samsung refuses to acknowledge ownership for poor quality or replace the knobs. It is a simple task that costs less than $5 yet they are willing to lose business over $5. It seems they do not value their customers. In 25 years I have never had any knob break on my ranges. Even the cheapest of Frigidaire ranges are sturdier and better built than this Samsung model that I purchased through Costco for $1,100. Very disappointed in Samsung’s customer service. All my appliances are Samsung (dishwasher, fridge, tv, phone, etc) and this is the customer loyalty they show. Disgraceful. The service call was escalated and they still refused to even make a compromise. “I’m sorry, that’s what the 1 year warranty is for,” doesn’t seem to cut it. They have lost a long time customer.

I purchased a new stove from H H Gregg in Myrtle Beach, SC. The controls in the stove area went out. I had them replaced by a Samsung repair man. Now there is a problem with the oven. I’ve been trying to get someone to listen to my problem and fix it. However, I am being told that is how my oven should work, because he has spoken to 40 other customers and the engineer at Samsung told him that is how my oven should work. I am not satisfied at all with the Samsung stove purchased at H H Gregg. I am unhappy with the run around from Samsung and their repair man. The repair man has not even looked at my oven. My stove top controls, yes.

Bought 2 of these Samsung RF263BEAESR refrigerators for my sons. A few months later we realized they were both running practically all the time. On investigation we found that when the right door is closed last, it blows the left door open about 1/4 inch which exposes the interior of the refrigerator to outside air, rendering the insulation ineffective. However, its not enough to set off the door alarm so you wont know it. Samsungs warranty servicer for my area says its normal for this model and Samsung will not warranty this problem. My advice: stay away from this refrigerator unless you love to pay high electric bills. I wasted $3500 on these. I know I will never buy another Samsung product.

I purchased a Samsung Dishwasher from Best Buy, when I had the unit installed I discovered that the kick plate was missing. I called Samsung and requested that they send me the missing part. They took all of the information and gave me instruction on how to send the receipt which I did. After a few days a representative called saying they needed more information. I asked what information they needed and they said they needed the Serial Number and Model Number. When I explained that I already gave them this information the representative put me on a long hold and came back and said not to worry they had everything they needed and that my missing part would be shipped in 7-10 days. Several days later I received an email from Samsung asking for me to upload my receipt to them (which I had already done a few weeks ago). I resent the receipt and then a few days later received another call saying that since the item was purchased as an open box item that they would not provide me with the missing part. Bottom line is that the customer service is very disorganized and inefficient. When I ask them to consider supporting their product and to make an exception to provide me with the part that was missing when delivered to me they refused. Very disappointing experience from Samsungs customer support people.

The frost on my freezer items tells me that there must be an air leak, somewhere. Ive had this refrigerator for 5 months and it has stopped cooling twice. The first time was within a week of delivery. I contacted Samsung for repair, but before the repair tech could come, my refrigerator started cooling again. I was advised that if I could not recreate the problem, there would be a charge to send the tech. Now, 5 months later, my refrigerator is not cooling again and has not repaired itself, either. I contacted Samsung and was told that it will be 10 days before a technician will be able to come out. 10 days with no refrigerator is an unacceptable amount of time.

I bought my fridge about two years ago from Lowes, and, no, I did not get the extended warranty (however, I now understand that is VERY important in order to get service on problems). The last conversation I had with Samsung was that they do NOT have a repairman in the Charleston, SC area!!! In the beginning when the ice maker froze, I contacted Samsung and learned how to reset it over the phone. Being retired, I was very impressed that I could do that rather than having to have a service person come out. After repeated calls to Samsung, on the same issue, they sent a repairman to fix the problem. However, I had to ask why I was having to pay anything since this is a well-known problem with Samsung AND that I am aware of the class action suit against Samsung.Since I am having to reset/defrost every 2 months, I am looking for a different brand. I love the fridge but it is too labor intensive to fix the problem that often. BTW, the repairman told me Samsung does a stop-gap fix and if that doesnt work, they may replace the ice maker. But Samsung says the repair is on me. However, Samsung is digging its heels in and leaves the customer hanging. Guess they have enough customers. But do they have repeat customers. Do they not understand the absolute value of repeat business???? The class action law suit is supposedly going to mediation in June, and hopefully, a resolution will be forthcoming.

This is going to be good. So go to the bathroom, grab a drink, sit down and get comfortable. In January last year, I purchased a Samsung refrigerator, a TV along with a washer and dryer. The total of the purchase was close to $6,000. The refrigerator decided it was not going to dispense water at Thanksgiving. We called and scheduled an appointment for service. We were told it was the panel at the front of the fridge. I took a morning off work and waited for three and half hours only for the tech to turn up and look at the fridge and say it is not the panel. It is the circuit board at the back. They would return a couple of weeks later to replace the circuit board. When the tech was at my house, I asked him to look at my Samsung 55 LED TV. I had a red dot in the middle of the screen. I had called Samsung before and they said that was acceptable. I argued the point, that the TV did not look like it in the store! The tech took one look at the TV and said that is not right and to call and get them to fix it. I called again to Samsung and complained again. I was put through to the executive customer relations. They then said they would fix it! Right! We scheduled a service appointment for the refrigerator and the TV. The service company was a mess and could not get anything handled. After multiple calls to them, a tech arrived at the house the Saturday before Christmas. Three hours later, still working on the fridge, the tech reached the conclusion it was not the front panel, not the circuit board in the back, but a bad ground on the fridge. Then he was about to leave and my wife reminded him about the TV. The TV was removed from the wall and he put a new panel in it and left it on the floor. I said I would hang it up when I get home. Little did I know the TV was not tested. I put the TV on the wall, plugged it in and there was a big blue screen. Nothing! I called Samsung technical support, spoke to a very nice man and said he felt my pain and was amazed at what I have already been through as a customer.I called the service company and the owner then called me back and he said there was nothing he could do. I then explained that I know how the job should have been done and reminded him that techs should test their work before leaving! The conversation was just a bit embarrassing for him. I called Samsung again just after Christmas. (The fridge was working fine at this point.) I spoke to executive customer relations and we were promised a new TV. Great problem solved. Number of days went by again with no call to confirm; I finally called and was put through to executive customer relations. They told me that the approval had been denied. I asked why and why did it take me so long to find out why. I asked them to figure out why one person can say yes and the other say no and no reason why! I pushed and told them to call me back in an hour with an answer. They did and then I asked to speak to a supervisor and they could not and I asked if they could email me to confirm what they were going to do. They wanted to repair the TV. I said no due to the fact we have by this point spent hours on the phone with the TV and the fridge and the service company. They transferred me to another department, appliances. That did not make me happy. My wife filed a complaint with the Better Business. We have their attention now, I thought. They looked at the file and yes, they admitted to me their customer service has a few problems. I laughed and told them to be in my position. If I did this at my job, I would be fired. I also got a call from the guy in charge of repairs at Samsung. We had to let them fix the TV. We are done. We have taken enough time waiting, calling and taking time off work. No one could say here is a new TV. My wife and I decided to buy another TV (Sony) to use for temporary measure while we decided to have the TV repaired. By this time, it was the first part of January. The tech turned up, fixed the TV and it worked. I told him the full story and all he could do was shake his head. Even the company he works for was part of the problem. I then got a call from someone at Samsung asking if the TV was fixed and I spoke to a man late in the evening and explained that no customer should be put through the circus of what we have. He agreed on every point I made and was truly embarrassed that this had been such a nightmare.I know I have missed parts out on this like the multiple dropped calls and the fact that we never got a work order receipt for the work carried out by the service company! They did send us a $50 gift card at Best Buy for our troubles. We added up that it has cost us, a couple of days off work not to mention the hours on the phone to no avail. It is not the end. Now, it is the end of January and guess what! Yes, the fridge will not dispense the ice. I called again and asked for executive customer relations. I called on Thursday last week. I explained the previous repair and what a problem it was and they were going to call me within 48 hours. They were meant to call me and yes, that did not happen. I called again on Monday and stated I want a new fridge and to call me back with an answer. Forgot to mention 48 hours! Today, they called my wife and wanted to schedule a service on the fridge. So yet again, more time off work and more time wasted on the phone. Our next step is not going to be good. The senior staff at Samsung need to put down the crayons, stop crying and let go of the sippy cup, wipe their face off and get down to following up with customers. If they had to deal with this mess like I have, they would think a lot differently. Follow up is key.My company is one of the largest car manufactures in the world and it puts the customer first. We aim to make all our customers happy and brand loyalty is a must. Samsung, wake up and deal with customers in the right way. Executive customer relations is a joke. Just call it Piss Poor customer service. From basic telephone skills, dealing with one person, not running the customer around from person to person. Follow up, tech training, the list can go on. I will never buy another Samsung product in my life. Not even if you paid me.

We bought our Samsung fridge with icemaker in 2015 and loved the design for storage. We had several issues with defrosting and the fridge developing ice and the back and freezing food. We started to take a day once a year to defrost it over 24 hours and it worked for a couple years but we called it this year. It froze up again (early this year) and we defrosted it again but it never got back to properly keeping our food cool but not frozen. Our local repair person told us he wouldnt waste our time because hes gone to service Samsung fridges many times and bought new parts but it never helped. When we had our new fridge delivered the delivery person commented that theyve removed mostly Samsung fridges from peoples homes. They look good but not worth it. Ours lasted 6 years! Thats not long for over $2,000.00. Not to mention the environmental impact!

This is the short version of our nightmare with Samsung. Dishwasher (Dishwasher DW80F6000TS/AA) turned itself on at about 2:30 in the morning. Water backed up into sink and overflowed on countertops, then into cupboards and flooded the entire kitchen floor. Tried to turn it off from button on top of washer door. It kept coming back on and continued flooding. Finally turned off circuit breaker in garage. That stopped the washer and water. Called Samsung next day. Very polite lady apologized and promised us that Samsung would repair washer and fix any water damage. They gave us claim numbers for both washer and repairs. Rep from independent Samsung came from Tampa. He took panel off bottom of washer and took a quick look with flashlight. Then had me turn on circuit breaker. He ran it for 15 seconds and said it wasnt the dishwasher. As he was leaving he told me to keep the circuit breaker OFF as Samsung may want this unit shipped to New Jersey for further inspection. Obviously he didnt tell Samsung this. A rep from Samsung sent an email weeks later saying they were denying claims indicating that our dishwasher was fine per their Tampa rep. Homeowners insurance requested estimates from general contractors. $50,000 is the most current one. Its been over 3 months now and we have a company that deals with this kind of issue working with us get this resolved. They said it could take up to 9 months. NEVER USE SAMSUNG!!!

We purchased a Samsung Side by Side Refrigerator from Home Depot in May 2014 for $3,100.00 and paid an additional fee for a (4) four-year extended warranty from Home Depot. Samsung only offers a (1) one-year manufacturers warranty. Our first repair service call was with SAMSUNG on June 2014 for a defective ice maker that needed replacement and was subsequently replaced. Our next service call was December 2014, due to a failed ice maker AGAIN. Our third repair service call was in December 2015, the ice maker wasnt making ice consistently and it was also making CRUSHED ICE in the CUBE MODE, and water DRIPS was constantly falling from the ice bin down into the cup dispenser and rolling down the front of the stainless steel refrigerator constantly staining it. The ice maker also began a HUMMING NOISE. The repair service rep said the ice blades in the ice bin were weak and causing the CRUSHED ICE. He said this was a Samsung DESIGN FLAW that cant be fixed. WE paid good money for this SAMSUNG product and all we got was repeated problems and customer service delays. Now Home Depot refuses to honor their (4) four-year EXTENDED WARRANTY. We are demanding replacement of this SAMSUNG refrigerator for another MORE RELIABLE UNIT. I like the fact that that you can have two separate oven space with two different temperature settings or one large one. On top of the range are 5 burners & each one is a different size. The middle long burner is nice for a griddle. It would be nice if one of the smaller burners was up front. The large burner is a real power house & I seldom use it. I pushed the issue and was told to submit receipts, which are on thermo paper and no longer readable. It has been determined to be un-repairable because there is no Samsung service repair in my area. Likely a simple adjustment needs to be done, but Samsung will not authorize repair. They tell me that I will have to send in the paperwork, all labels from appliance, the cord (plus a video of me cutting said cord), and they will review the file and send me a check... OK... let me trust that process.

Bought this dishwasher to replace the original one that we bought (16yrs old) when we built our home. The old worked MUCH better! The only reason I did not return was because hubby installed it and I didnt want to go through the trouble the take out and return to Home Depot. It is quiet but I would rather it be noisy and actually clean my dishes. Had I known I would be hand washing after running a cycle I wouldnt even have bought a new one. Ive done everything that has been suggested, I have to run it on storm wash just to get them halfway clean. I love ALL my other Samsung products except the dishwasher. Look elsewhere for yours!Pam

When the warranty ended, literally the next month the refrigerator stopped cooling. Samsung would not repair the refrigerator even if we paid for it. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG! This is a cluster of really terrible products. Microwave that turned on by itself and lights on at random times. The stove top replaced twice and the terrible dishwasher that leaves dirty dishes. Samsung sucks garbage. I highly discourage everyone to purchase anything. Useless company doesnt return calls or offer extended support for inferior equipment. We are not angry, were furious and have prevented at least seven awful purchases from being made. I will make this a cause to notify everyone of the garbage thats being sold by Samsung.

From the time we purchase the refrigerator, there were problems with non-functioning icemaker, leaking water that froze at the bottom of the inside compartment, and worst of all, a refrigerator that when set on 44 degrees would freeze down below 32 degrees! I would not recommend this refrigerator or anything that Samsung makes to anyone. I am boycotting everything they make unless they refund me the $1,850 that I threw away buying this piece of crap.

Bought all new Samsung appliances when we built our house. Stove worked well at first. Liked the rapid boil burner. Right after the extended Lowes warranty expired, the rapid boil burner would go crazy. It was insanely hot no matter what temp you set it on. Burned everything youd try to cook on it. Found the problem, replaced the part. Less than a year later both front burners are doing the same thing. Also used the self-clean oven, enamel came off very badly. Its so damaged I couldnt use it. Top and bottom of the oven look like someone took a grinder to it. Deep gashes. Flaking off. Since its on the top it falls into your food. Noticed today as we were pulling it out to replace with a new range, oven actually has a hole in the bottom. Very expensive Samsung fridge is already starting to freeze items in the back of the fridge. Will never purchase another Samsung appliance. Great TVs, horrible appliances.

Samsung DMT800RHS dishwasher woes - I bought this unit from Appliances Connection in NY over a month ago and today is the first day its been able to run. The door hinges werent assembled properly and the first time I opened the door, it broke. It took a month and a huge runaround between Samsung, Appliances Connection and the local service provider to get the parts. Once the door was repaired, I completed the installation and it leaked all over the floor. I loaded it into my truck and took it to the repair center myself to save time. I hope my trouble is over with this unit. Samsung, their dealer and the repair center played point the finger for a month - very poor indeed!

Yet, they would not help me with the same problem. The error code SE came on and does not clear when microwave is unplugged. Samsung admitted to me the problem was epidemic when I called them. Numerous efforts have been made to stop the refrigerator from leaking all over the floor. Parts replaced several time$$$. Samsung has no interest in correcting this. Now, the leaking appears to have been corrected (time will tell). The new problem is failure of temperatures to set/hold for both the freezer and the refrigerator! Refrigerator is at 61 degrees! Should be at 38 degrees! Freezer was at 28 and should be at -2. Perform power reset...no change. Samsung has refused to do anything even though it a clearly known issue - just look at the complaints all over the internet! Nothing has happened (power outages, relocation, ...nothing) to cause these problems.

My Samsung dishwasher model DMT300RFW failed six months out of warranty, but used less than 20 times (it was at a second home). Repair cost was just over 1/2 the purchase price.Failed part was the drain pump, DD31-00005A. Failure mode was that the impeller shaft O ring had expanded from the drain water, preventing the shaft from turning freely. (The housing O ring had also expanded.) The O rings were not made with an appropriate material. In summary, the failure of a 10-cent part killed the dishwasher.Next, an attempt was made to report these findings to Samsung through their 800 number. Though my message was taken, there appeared to be a stone wall in terms of getting anyone to do anything. If this happens again, and it likely will, I may buy space in the Wall Street Journal and see if they care. What did I expect, at least that someone would make sure that my findings got to the right people. I guess it would be naive to expect anything else.

We purchased our Samsung rs261mds refrigerator a few years ago. Since then the cooling fan has gone out several times, and I have to defrost the freezer to keep it working. The 3rd time samsung sent someone out, I was not told what was wrong, then I was told that samsung was not paying for the repair after it was completed (They had extended my warranty once because of the fan going out a 2nd time) and that if I did not pay my bill I would be blackballed and no one would ever fix my fridge. Then if that wasnt enough, the repairman came to my house the next day and told my son he left steamer at my house. When my son went to look the repairman walked in and began going through my cabinets. At that point my son made him leave. I called samsung and spoke to someone in their executive resolutions department who apologized. Said they would be paying for the repair and that a supervisor from the repair place would call to make an appointment to come out to thoroughly my fridge. When my fridge stopped working 1 month later, I was told they would send someone out at my expense! Now my fridge has stopped working. I lost all my food. I am disabled and not working and my husband lost his job 4 months ago. Thanks to samsung and their crappy products and service, we will be keeping things cold in coolers until we can buy ANY brand of refrigerator other than samsung!

Please read the reviews before you buy a Samsung refrigerator because I really care, and I don’t want it to happen to you. I wish I read all of the reviews about this product before I bought it. I even called customer care if a lot of people make complaints about Samsung refrigerator, and she said no because I told her I saw a hundred complaints about the same problem. In approx May 2015 we purchased the Samsung RFF18HFENBSR French door refrig/bottom freezer from Home Depot. Our renovations got delayed so we did not start using it until August. I gave it one star because it looks and fits great but the following year (after the warranty was over) multiple things started happening. First no ice, then water in right crisper and water under both crispers freezing up. I went online and this has been a problem with Samsung refrigerators, many models, for years. I didnt call them because after researching they were not even returning calls to those that had warranties. All I can say to those shopping, absolutely do not purchase their refrigerators. This is a continuing problem. I have to call a repair guy but more annoying is it may possibly be a simple fix. There is a problem with the heating coil not keeping the water from freezing in a little hole. So their fix was a metal piece that doesnt quite reach the hole too short so it wasnt a fix after all. So water freezes in the hole, then no ice, water in right crisper and water under both crispers that freezes. It also creates frost in the freezer and food in the refrigerator freezing. But now I have to pay god knows how much money for a repair guy, empty everything out of my refrigerator again. Some repair guys are also saying you have to replace the thermostat piping or something like that. Dont buy this. I never do this but I have a refrigerator in my garage that is 12 years old and has never had a problem and Samsung although they were aware from previous models continued to just make it with the same problem knowing it still didnt fix it.

We bought a Samsung refrigerator from Lowes when we moved in March this year. Three weeks ago, the freezer compartment broke down. Samsung’s customer service said that they would send someone to repair it. Two days later, the maintenance staff came to check and said the parts were defective. It took another week or so to fix it. However, the whole refrigerator stopped working the next day, which was last Friday. Everything we bought went bad! The worst thing was to call Samsungs customer service. I waited online for three hours and finally got connected. They told me that they will call me back within 24 hours. Yesterday was Tuesday, there was still no calling back. Finally, I called them again, and was told the calling back time was 72 hours now! It is Wednesday today, and the person in charge has not been contacted yet. There are elderly and children in my house, and our daily meal becomes a difficult, especially in this COVID-19 pandemic. We cant eat out a lot. We have to go to groceries every single day to buy the food for that day! We are taking a great risk! In general, Samsungs refrigerator had a quality issue- it stopped working in only four months, and the after-sales service was even worse! Its really disappointing! I will try my best to aware more people!

Model RF220NCTABC/AA - cracking noise from doors. The problem with the doors is not exactly in the hinges themselves. There are two plastic pieces: one black in the top next to the hinge, another white in the bottom next to the hinges. These parts have the function of toggle-close the doors and unfortunately are not of the right quality. They are each attached to the door with one Phillips screw. If any of them breaks, you get the crack sound. I just removed the one on the bottom right and the problem went away. Your technicians answering the phone should be trained on that and even if the refrigerator was bought more than one year ago, send customers these parts for free. Probably the postage will be more expensive than the parts.

Told us to unplug the refrigerator and see if it would hopefully reset itself, but not likely. 4 Door Refrigerator Model RF25HMEDBWW/AA - Soon after receiving our new refrigerator we advised Samsung and they dispatched a service Tech from a highly regarded service provider. Samsung had sent a replacement front and auger, which they installed. The quality of the ice was not improved, and still many cubes were broken. We were away for the winter, and ice maker was turned off. Recently we had three successive issues with dairy products going sour prematurely, and loss of some beautiful steaks. The front panel assured me that temperature was 37. On the evening of June 5, 2016 I used two different digital thermometers and confirmed that problem was the main cooling (Upper) was registering 55 degrees F. I used a Taylor remote oven thermometer plus a fast (but not instant) digital cooking thermometer with 0.1 degree gradient. The following AM, June 6, as I was leaving the house for the day, I asked my wife to call Samsung and report the problem. That evening my wife informed me that the Samsung person asked her to unplug and then re-plug the power cord. The delivery team for our retailer had damaged the legs on the bottom of the unit, making it very difficult to move and access the power outlet. They have been slow in responding, and I will use this document to re-light a fire under them, as I am certain they will not be pleased to read their name here. I called Samsung that evening and advised that a technician was needed. They informed me that it would take several days before I heard from their agents. On the third evening past my call, I again called Samsung and was advised that there was no record of my prior call.On the 16th, the tech arrived and advised that this was a common issue caused by freeze-up of the evaporator coil in the upper refrigerator, and some new parts would also fix the ice problem. I called Samsung in an attempt to get the parts expedited, and when I requested to speak with the Samsung Service Manager I was advised that the person I was speaking with could not arrange a communication with a Samsung higher up and that absolutely nobody at Samsung would have a knife sharp enough to cut through the accumulated Samsung constipation. It is very clear that their telephone answering people have all submitted to a lobotomy before beginning work there and all they are allowed to do is read what appears on their computer screen.Due to the scheduling procedure, I was not able, until approximately 10:15, to learn if and in what time frame to anticipate the techs arrival! The tech WITH THE PARTS arrived just before 1PM on the 23rd of June. He spent several hours replacing parts, and I thought and hoped the problems were over. Ice is no better and temperatures are still warm. So today when I called, I immediately advised the computer that I would only speak with a service executive. After a 33 minute wait I got somebody in their Executive Service department. After a 15 minute conversation with him, I realized that he did not have any idea how a refrigerator worked and he placed me on A SHORT HOLD, to immediately transfer me to somebody in Refrigeration. At 1 hour and three minutes I was connected with somebody in the Dominican Republic that likely could not tell the difference between a digital thermometer and a rectal, EVEN if the digital device was inserted in his rectum. Do not ask about his comprehension of a refrigerator. He got me a reference number for the new service call at 1 hour and 20 minutes and indicated that I would hear from somebody that understood refrigeration in a day or two. THE PRECEDING WAS COMPOSED ON MONDAY EVENING, JUNE 27.Beginning on the second Tuesday of next week, I am going to begin holding my breath until Samsung discovers the concept that I invented: I have called it responsibility and service. Today, June 28, I heard from service company and learned that they will have a tech here on July 14. We are going to look for a phone number for Enterprise Refrigerator Rental, to get a loaner until somebody at Samsung elects to have our not quite one year old refrigerator deliver on its promise, keeping dairy and meat from souring prematurely, and making good ice.My 15 year old Amana did it quite well, seldom ran short and never failed to properly cool! It did not offer crushing or dispensing thru the door, but if Samsung cannot get those features right for 3 or 4 times the cost, maybe their future is in composting. I would love to discover the name and address of a responsible executive at Samsung and arrange for a second year med school student, with an interest in Proctology, to park this POS in an appropriate orifice! Is there a class action suit in process? IF SO, PLEASE SUPPLY DATA SO I CAN JOIN.

4 Door Refrigerator: I bought Samsungs line of appliances when I redid my kitchen the summer of 2015. Ive had the ice maker repaired 2x since then and had to pay out of my pocket since the year warranty was up. Now for the second time the compressor went. The compressor has a 5 year warranty. The first time they put Freon because they couldnt find the leak. They came again and said it is not fixable that I should be getting a new refrigerator from Samsung. Went painstaking through the process to the point I was told they are locating my model. Once they do and its on the truck theyll call with the delivery date. Didnt hear anything for a week. Called back I and was told since the refrigerator is out of warranty they are not giving me a new one. I said the compressor is not fixable and has a 5 year warranty. I was told that doesnt matter because the refrigerator warranty is up and the compressor is not fixable. So why do you claim a 5 year warranty on compressor. If you cant fix or replace the compressor its my problem??? BTW the compressor is in a location they cannot reach, so they say. $3000 for a refrigerator that has had issues after 18 months. I asked to speak to a supervisor w/ 3 different calls. Finally got one, Ricky, and he swore hed get back to me in 3 hour. That was a week ago. The customer service is HORRIBLE. Theyve hung up on me 3x and never called back. And each call since 6/29/18 is an hour. You need to go through the whole story. After telling me I was getting a new refrigerator and waiting a week to find out, no, no refrigerator not one person from Samsung called to tell me they changed their minds. I am now going to get a lawyer.

We bought our 1st Samsung side-by-side fridge in late-2006. Just after the 1-yr warranty expired, the twin cooling system froze in the refrigerator side. Recommended appliance repairman literally took a knife to chip ice off of the equipment. Had to call a 2nd repairman who completed it but discovered the touch screen didnt work properly (again not covered by warranty). In 2014, bought a 2nd Samsung (4-door model). Had problem with touch screen but when repairman came, couldnt duplicate problem. Of course, after warranty expired, housing for water filter started leaving debris (white substance) in the filter & ice & water stopped. Repairman said housing was a faulty design & Samsung was working to correct the design. Then he said the touch screen wasnt working either. After repeated calls to Samsung by me, the repairman & even my husband, the final conclusion from the manager was that they didnt have a record of the touch screen malfunctioning prior to warranty ending! So, like our 1st fridge (which we moved downstairs), we opted not to repair the touchscreen but did pay to replace the housing. This week I had repairman out for both fridges with identical problems as before. When filter housing was changed out in Sept-2015, it had not been redesigned. So... now $325 cost to repair housing & at least have confirmation it will be with redesigned part. Still leaving compromised touchscreen untouched. Cost to replace damaged parts on downstairs fridge = $505!Now if I wasnt smart enough to learn my lesson, when our washer went out we read consumer reports that highly recommended the Samsung appliances. Purchased them, immediately had problems - fought with Samsung for weeks and finally went to Lowes to let them know that their reputation was at stake because they sell Samsung products. Lowes went above and beyond and graciously took care of my problems with my dryer. Since that time I have received a recall about the problem with the washer. Sorry for this long. Review but Ive had more experience than I would like with Samsung and I do not believe in the quality nor their integrity. My advice to you - dont buy Samsung!

How to fix Samsung microwave SE Code - We had the exact same problem ... SE code out of the blue, keypad wouldnt work at all. I have the solution and all you need is a Phillips head screwdriver, no skill required for the rest. I searched internet, found a YouTube video on how to take the panel apart. Unplug your microwave, follow directions to take panel off - a 5 minute job. Unplug and replug blue and white connectors...easy. Take some rubbing alcohol and wipe off that green ribbon (I read this a lot on other sites). While you have everything apart, wipe down the inside, there was some gook behind the panel so I figured, what the heck. I put it back together, plug it in. We havent had any problems since. Save your money, this is a very easy fix. I feel like the quality of every thing these days is cheap, made overseas **, so having this happen in under 24 months did not surprise me. Im just glad I didnt get ripped off further by Samsung telling me a professional repairman was needed. It was a 20 minute fix from start to finish, maybe less.

The writing on the Inside of the fridge wiping off the day I got it... The dividers held in place with sticky tape! The shelves not fitting properly ... It’s the worst made and designed fridge ever. But worst of all you can’t clean under some of the glass ... You just can’t. With much difficulty (Takes two people) you can take the section out but you still can’t clean under the glass. So the only thing you can do is soak your fridge In the bath. It’s seriously appalling. Appalling - and the way Samsung says there’s nothing they can do ... is the stuff of nightmares- It’s insane making. I have green slime under the glass of my fridge- that you can’t clean - It’s a health hazard and Samsung don’t care. They called the problem cosmetic. My health and cleanliness of where I store my food is not cosmetic. As soon as I can get rid of this poorly / cheaply made badly designed fridge I will. Do not buy this product. In fact judging how it’s taken me a Year to get anything done anything- I would never ever buy Samsung again either.

I guess I should have read the reviews on this dishwasher before purchase; however, I relied on the good name of Samsung. Boy was I wrong! I purchased my dishwasher in March of 2014. In December, was getting the error codes. I called the repair warranty center and they came right out and fixed it. I was happy and impressed. Despite the fact that the dishwasher constantly smelled awful… it worked. By April 2015, I was getting the same error code. Samsung refused to stand behind their product. This is obviously a major problem with this unit with the numerous complaints and we know that this is just the tip of the iceberg! Shame on you Samsung for not addressing this problem fairly. You have really taken advantage of the consumer and that is disgraceful. I had to throw away a dishwasher that was only 13 months old because it cost more to fix than to buy a new one. WARNING to all who are considering this purchase - DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

We purchased this range 08/2014 after much research and deliberation. The burners are impossible to regulate. First theyre not hot enough, then theyre waaay too hot and your food is burned. Same thing with the oven. You really have to keep an eye on your food. The latest issue came when I used the self cleaning mode. The entire control screen went dark/blank and I couldnt open the door.I called Samsung thinking there must be a quick fix, but NO! They want me to pay for someone to come out and service the appliance even though I did nothing wrong and the product is less than 2 years old!!! Come to find out, others have had similar issues. I am waiting for a supervisor at Samsung to call me back and have also contacted Pacific Sales, where we purchased the product to see if they will stand behind it. I will never purchase another Samsung product, NOR will I recommend one.

RF217ACRS - Bought fridge in June 2010. Freezer stopped working in June 2014. It was still under 5-year Sealed Refrigeration System Warranty, so I went through a Samsung referred repair company. Our first visit was on 6/27. After our 10th repair visit on Sept 12, 2014, all of which entailed numerous attempts and were coordinated with Samsung Technical Support via telephone, our fridge was deemed unrepairable. (I have invoices and notes documenting each visit.) After 6 different Samsung repair ticket numbers obtained while working with Samsung Executive Customer Service to get Warranty compensation, I was exhausted. When I called them, I was on hold from 17:8 to 47:12 minutes each time and told something different every time. At one point I was talking to an individual in CA (address was residential via phone # look-up). They broke me down when they told me that our repairman should have gotten a 7000# from the Samsung Tech at the time the system was deemed unrepairable. We went entire summer without a working freezer. We would have dumped the refrigerator earlier had we known warranty was not going to come through. I could go on, but I think readers have the idea and the point(s) I am making about Samsung Refrigerators and their Executive Customer Service.

I bought a Samsung side by side Refrigerator over a year ago from Lowes. Had lots of noise coming from it in the first week. I called Lowes and they refer me to Samsung. They walk me through all kind of process over the phone saying it wasnt on the right setting. They send 2 tech out at different times and they didnt know what to do coming up with all kind of crap. The noise coming from the appliance gives you headaches. I spoke to samsung over a month again and no one came out yet. I was told I have to pay for the service and repairs. It not fair for us as customers to have something break down in the first years and have to come out of pocket when it cost us thousand of dollars. My house sounds like you starting up a crop duster in it. Please help us as customers. Thank you.
