I needed a specific sized refrigerator for the spot in my kitchen and the look of the 4 door Samsung was great, however, the ice maker stopped working. Eventually I couldnt even open the ice maker container. Once that occurred the freezing did as well, so the venting in the back of the refrigerator froze over and made a sound like a percolating coffee pot. Had to get a repairman to come and fix. I googled the issue, which it appears to be an issue with the Samsung design of their ice makers some refrigerators have ice gathering under the drawers, the temp shown on the door is NOT what is actually going on inside the refrigerator. Samsung has their American call center Alorica calling themselves the Office of the President. When you ask them for their manager they will put you on hold then come back on the line attempting to change their voice saying they are the manager. Good stuff, they will do anything not to give you any repairs. Even finding their own documentation stating the ice maker design is the reason for the issues and they will not help. I will never ever buy another Samsung product and I think Consumer Reports leads people astray stating its a great appliance. How long are you testing these products?

In less than 1 year the so called black stainless finish is peeling off both oven doors of our SAMSUNG ELECTRIC DOUBLE OVEN NE59J850 where the handles attach. Samsung calls it a cosmetic issue and will not address repair. The finish is tissue thin and simply comes off with a sponge. Last Samsung product in this house as we are also having trouble with two Samsung TVs.

I purchased a kitchen suite at ABT less than a year ago. Refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, microwave. Every one of these appliances are garbage! The refrigerator door shelves cracked and fell to the floor in less than two weeks. The refrigerator makes intermittent LOUD noises like a grinding sound. Water pools at every bin and the worst of all is the layout is impossible to not knock everything over trying to retrieve a single item. The dishwasher stinks...LITERALLY! It always smells awful. It doesnt clean dishes well at all and leaves chunks of residue after several cycles of cleaning the same load. The repairman said Well, just leave the door open and it wont smell so bad! Really? The oven is constantly setting off our carbon monoxide detector and recently, I thought there was moisture built up on the oven door and when I tried to open it to wipe the glass front it exploded in a thousand fragments of glass everywhere! This company should be held accountable before someone dies...

Honestly, I can only echo every complaint that has been voiced by other owners of Samsung French Door refrigerator. 6 years old!!! Loud noise, cracked plastic shelving and bins, ice building up under back panel, etc. After weighing out the cost of another repair call, we have decided to buy another refrigerator today. We have defrosted it for 36 hours. It was fine for 2 days. All of the appliances in my home are Samsung. OMG the nightmare will continue. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR. THERE IS A DESIGN FLAW THAT THE COMPANY REFUSES TO ADDRESS. If my 6 year old model and your new refrigerator are experiencing the same problems, the company is at fault. Where is a class action lawsuit? Im in.

HHgregg sent out a few repairmen (no report), did nothing, said it cant be fixed. I called Samsung they sent out 2 repairmen. No info and no work. In Feb 2013 I was taken to St. Lucie Medical center as I was violently ill. DX Bacteria in my lung. I spent the month of Feb in the hospital as I almost died and almost a year rehabilitating. I cannot open the dishwasher for fear of another attack. My daughter holds her breath and we over clean the unit. The repairman that was here today said to me, It needs to be replaced.

I had a GE dishwasher for 15 years and it worked well but I wanted a new stainless steel one. I purchased a Samsung from Best Buy. It is hard to believe how unhappy I have been with this appliance. I have paid $357 so far to continue to have it fixed and it is not quite three years old. Today I am having it hauled away as I am cutting my losses. Samsung should not be in the business of appliances if they cant do any better than this. It did not clean the dishes well, it did not dry the dishes well, and it was of poor quality but yet cost a lot. I will NEVER buy Samsung again.

I can just sit down and write a novel about my disposable fridge that would make a priest want to renounce his vows, oh my! And thats not all! So while I have your attention, let me begin with the juiciness of this sought over novel, soon to be released; not appropriate for the weak-minded, lame, sex offenders, and others whom are abusive. My story begins on the purchase date of December 3, 2010, not to be delivered until December 21, 2010 on Model: RF217ACRSXAA; Brand: Samsung 20 cubit ft B/M french doors; cost $1,299.00, growling! OK, its going on 8-years old, so what? Dont you want for your refrigerator to last more than just 8 years, I do? After all, $1,299 isnt anything to laugh about on the high cost of paying for any appliance that should serve their customers well in the long-run; hello, this one doesnt cut the cake, in fact, it lacked in all areas. Listen up now in hearing the truth and the reality of this poorly constructed, over-priced, defective, piece of disposable stainless steel has-been appliance of junk. Not pretty so far, and its not going to get any prettier, trust me. To save time, Im just going to list the issues in laying them straight out for your digestion, and I hope they dont deliver unto any of you any form of nausea, flu-like symptoms, diarrhea, or self-inflicted wounds; even thou tempted. This appliance was doomed when formed in the craters of the stainless steel womb in appliance making; in laymans terms it was defective and unacceptable and much made aware of, however, Samsung continued to disregard any discrepancies of their workmanship and so they continued on. This so-called wannabe fridge didnt pan out at all in its performance and the companies bragging and boasting of such a wonderful product; check out the other sources of reviews regarding their refrigerators and youll see the tremendous faults and Samsungs own claims that it was your fault based upon reasonable wear and tear, other words, your daily usage of their product. BULL! Cheap and stupid comment! Everything we have is considered being used on a daily basis as wear and tear. So it comes down to: a faulty and a unacceptable product with the first thing happening were dents appearing upon the surface front of the stainless steel in various areas where nothing was knocked or hit upon the refrigerator, and this still remains a mystery to this day; and suddenly one day out of the blue when upon opening and gagging, a vile odor of non-delight smacked me right in the face of something raw and diseased in leaving a stench of a decomposed corpse somewhere hiding in my fridge, it was so intrusive and vile that I had to end up removing everything in my fridge to remove the odor of death with vinegar, baking powder, peroxide and rubbing alcohol, which finally helped in this hideous stench, plus it harbored its odor upon my cheese and butter, which I had to dispose of, costing me money in waste, and then having to replace those items which cost me more. This lovely saga lasted over 1-year in the making and it wasnt pretty, as I had to do this every 3-months. When I contacted this lovely and caring company, I was told to wash down my fridge. Hahaha! Now thats funny! I reported to this expertise person filled with much knowledge and wisdom, that this was exactly what I had done. Then her reply was, it takes time and itll go away. Another bout of uncontrollable laughter in asking her, what if it doesnt go away, then what? Only to be told again by this person of much esteem, then call us back. OK, as if my calling is going to be opening their deaf ears, NOT! Now moving on to my wonderful and functional ice maker, which when my fridge was installed, the ice maker wasnt even hooked up due to our older home not having any water hookup for a refrigerator that had an ice maker. So the installer, turned that option off as we didnt use it. So in the 7 years in which weve had our disaster of a fridge with all of its sought after imperfections, were still experiencing problems with the ice maker. This problem has now been addressed 3 times, with a repairman coming out doing his magical diagnostic check to say it was our ice maker programmed in indicating that there is a problem. What kind of a problem you asked, well, its programmed of course with all of its electronic components saying that there is an ice issue and leaking. NOT! So this lovely costly $100 gadget of necessity had to be replaced, why, well its because of the way Samsung designs their appliances causing for them to react in indicating something that isnt. But in order for my fridge to work, I had to pay for it as it was out of warranty. How lovely and kind is Samsung to do that in their designing and corruptible computer technology to showcase this error of DECEIT. So it was done and I had thought over, but once again, the fun and love of this fridge is expressing itself all over again, and less than one year after it was supposedly been fixed and not to do it again. Yeah, right! So this time Mr. Mechanic, Man of Genius (another repairman) comes out and swiftly removes the ice maker saying that it wasnt needed and therefore I didnt need for it to be there. No charge this time, saying it was a courtesy call. And after 3 months, surprised! I know, your hearts must be breaking by now. So once again a call was made and several people spoken with, all whom didnt know what was said nor documented from the others, so I had to repeat everything over and over; my patience was low and running thin by now. So finally a service call was made by a company who would call me to confirm within the week regarding an ice maker that was removed and yet there was still a problem. The company called, the serviceman and I talked, only to find out that what Samsung had told him was nothing that I had said that I needed help on. They told him that I had a water leak, when I had an ice maker that was removed and the code were showing that I had a water leak coming from my ice maker that was previously removed. The serviceman suggested I call them back to report this, as there was no reason for him to come out for something that doesnt exist. The call was made, I had talked to 4 people and was told someone would be contacting me (this was in May of this year 2018). And yet at this time no one has contacted me on scheduling anyone to assist me, and my fridge is still the same as it was before where you have no option in controlling your refrigerators temperature, and its not as cold as it should be where numerous items of food had to be removed and thrown away. So now what? Let this vicious, but yet lovely and caring company who jumps hoops and swims the ocean, climbs the highest mountains and deals with volcanoes just to make sure that their appliances will be serviced well and proper, leaving you with a sense of relief and comfort, and cold foods. Wow! Guess Im in good hands after all; and here I thought Jack the Ripper was bad.

The tech from NZ Systems in London, ON came out - Murphys Law in the hour, he was there no sound, he leaves, sound returns & has been going since. I have yet to get the tech to come back and Samsung says I have contact this company again. Who is taking responsibility for this. I am very, very disappointed in my fancy and VERY EXPENSIVE fridge.

Water constantly leaks and pools under vegetable drawers. We must chip ice away every few days so that food doesnt freeze. This fridge has the ice maker and water/ice dispenser on door. We turned off the ice maker and disconnected the water thinking it would stop the water leaking but it did not. Ice maker worked great but the water leak is ridiculous. We will never purchase another Samsung refrigerator again.

Purchased model 4 years ago. Had all sorts of problems. The control pad froze up continually. Lights & fan came on randomly by itself. We had service to fix it on numerous occasions. The repairs were in vain. Could not be fixed. Samsung finally within the warranty period exchanged the unit for a new one. Well, we had the same problems. Several repairs and 3 years later, the unit died No power. Since the warranty expired, Samsung refused to replace or repair. A service call was $165 plus parts. We purchase a new GE microwave. We bought a Samsung stove that broke before the warranty was expired and we called their costumer service, but they didnt respond back until way later. They said they were gonna come and see the damage to fix it, but they never showed up. We called again and they said we didnt qualify for it cause it was our fault that it broke. When we had another stove for 14 years that wasnt Samsung and it was perfectly fine for 14 years. We got the new stove thinking that it would be so much better, but its not. We cant even clean it properly because it represents a hazard and we can get cut or hurt us. If youre reading this is I recommend to please not buy their stove or products because its not that good of quality and their costumer service is not good.

Bought a RF266 on September 17, 2011. Now it doesnt work. The fan started making a loud noise one morning and by that night the refrigerator part had stopped working completely. Called a local repairman to come out and he told us that the freezer motor was freezing up and would stop working also. Told us to unplug the refrigerator and see if it would hopefully reset itself, but not likely. Called Samsung and they gave me the run around that they have never heard of that problem before and I have been reading all afternoon of the same damned thing almost. Even after two months of having it had to get icemaker replaced and it still acts up off and on. Samsung does suck.

This induction range/oven (FTQ307NWGX/XAA) was very a very expensive piece of equipment. It looks beautiful and high end, but its a useless piece of junk now and ready for the landfill. Samsung has discontinued making two parts that we need to fix the induction cooktop. The circuit boards blew up and there are no replacement parts being made. Samsung doesnt stand behind their products. They simply told us sorry. Sorry?! That stove was over $2000 and cannot be fixed! How irresponsible of Samsung! Not only is this bad for the consumer, but its bad for the environment! I understand that things break, but the fact that there are no parts being manufactured to fix it is inexcusable. Samsung has lost a customer for life!

Terrible design on water dispenser. It actually dispenses back at an angle, making it impossible to fill water bottles, but worse causes a constant drip of water that did not make it into any container. There is no reservoir for overflow, so once the shallow holding area is full, water gets all over the floor, when opening the door. I purchased a Samsung microwave SMH1611B at the Lowes in Douglasville, Georgia in Sept. 2012, paid $167 (sale) for the beautiful merchandise. I brought it home and in Oct. 2012, the microwave began to make a loud noise. As the timer decreased, the noise became louder. I contacted Lowes. They sent out service people to make the repairs, had to replace the transformer. All worked well until Dec. 2012. The microwave started doing the same thing except the noise wasnt as loud so again, I called Lowes. Appointment was set up and the repair man came again but, this time, after explaining to them that it was doing the same thing, they came without the transformer and had to reschedule and they came back on this past Monday in Jan. 2013 to replace the transformer. Today is Wednesday, January15. Now there is no noise today. Its not heating. Must I say how disappointed I am with this microwave? You have to have 3 service calls and the technicians have to tell you that the microwave is no good for them to give you another microwave. This doesnt make any sense. I should have taken the microwave back and got my money back. I will never purchase another Samsung microwave as long as I live. It is, however, still under warranty being that I just purchased it in Sept. 2012 and its now Jan. 2012.

All I can say is that I wish I had read reviews on Samsung refrigerators before I purchased mine. Ive owned Samsung TVs and smart phones that are all exceptional and I thought the same would be true with Samsung appliances but I was dead wrong. Brand new refrigerator model # RF263BEAESG - only 6 months old - started leaking water out of the left side top where electrical wires are coming out of the top of refrigerator. Contacted Samsung. They created a repair ticket. After five days and no one showed up I called the service company only to go to voice mail. Call Samsung back and they give the service ticket to another service company... same thing 2nd time - service company wouldnt come to my house. After three weeks into the ordeal, Samsung said they would refund the purchase price of my refrigerator. To get my money back I had to provide the original sales receipt, sign a contract saying I would dispose of the old refrigerator and not continue to use it, send the labels inside the refrigerator to Samsung showing model & serial # and cut the electrical cord. After complying with Samsungs request I then get an email two weeks later saying they dont have the serial # and we cannot move forward even though they had the serial # from my initial call for service. After several days of fighting this battle I get a call from Samsung saying they found the serial # but before they can process the claim now I need to go out and purchase a new refrigerator and show them the receipt for the new purchase. In addition, I need to show them a receipt from a haul away company that disposed of my refrigerator with the leaking ice maker.Refrigerator was purchased from Home Depot. I have contacted the manager of the particular Home Depot store but so far they havent offered much help. I Home Depot manager that given my experience and experiences Ive read about from other consumers that if I were him I will completely discontinue selling Samsung appliances. Ive owned many appliances over my 72 year life span and NEVER have I EVER experienced such an horrific experience. Given the runaround Ive received from Samsung I doubt very seriously Ill ever receive a refund for my refrigerator. Stay away from Samsung appliances, particularly their refrigerators.

BUYERS BEWARE!! The worst experience involving the Samsung dishwasher DW80H9 series. First year the top rack was not functioning properly. The fix was use zip ties to stabilize, this was from a Samsung tech. Second year continually got the E7 error code, replaced the spray arm motor and assembly. Third year, same E7 code and replaced same parts again, but I had to wait 2-1/2 months to get the correct part. This year is the fourth year, guess what, same error code. Today I canceled all extended warranties, this company needs to remove their products from the consumer base and start over again. The Samsung Protection Plus warranty system is a joke also, the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. If I can change a handful of peoples minds to purchase a different manufacturers product, my job is done. Please be aware that Samsungs appliances are pretty and your kitchen looks awesome, but not functional and you will be spending your valuable time on the phone for hours for repair. Please take heed!!!

RS267TDWP - I bought the Samsung double french door refrigerator about 3 years ago and 6 months into owning it had my first ice problem in the Fridge part. Every 2-3 months we have to open the panel in the back and unfreeze with hair dryer!! This is ridiculous. Even worse to hear Samsung isnt doing anything about it! I want help. Lets make Samsung accountable.

After 5 years my refrigerator just quit working. Extended warranty repairs failed twice. Motherboard went out, it was replaced which didnt communicate with the temperature control panel, which was then replaced. The defrost control went out three times. It is on order again to give me time to study my next new one. Samsung wouldnt even give me the time of day, said they would send for review which took thirty minutes for them to tell me to go to he double toothpicks.

From what I read its ice building up. Thats bullcrap as much as this POS cost this is what we get. I knew I should have not bought it because it was a Samsung. I wish I would have read reviews. Lesson learned. Warranty lol yeah thats a joke. Very disappointed.

Purchased a new Samsung oven, dishwasher and fridge combo from Best Buy. Within 4 months of owning the oven, used very little, the oven started having serious issues. The oven would take forever to heat up, have to put it on 500 degrees to get it to heat up to 350 degrees. When you opened the door to put anything in the oven it dropped about 200 degrees. Have to wait for it to heat up again. In the middle of baking time, the oven would drop its temperature. Other times it would heat above whatever you place the oven temp on. Went to Best Buy, they had to call Samsung. Was going to be on hold for over a half hour so left and placed the called myself. When I finally got a hold of Samsung, they said they had never heard of anything like this before happening. They sent out a tech. The tech determined the whole motherboard needed replaced. Three weeks later the motherboard arrived and a tech came out and installed. Havent had problems since however for the oven only being a few months old the motherboard should not have failed. The fridge is very loud and the freezer causes freezer burn on everything. I am glad that Samsung had no issues sending someone out to repair it at no charge however they need to look more into what is causing the issue. It ruined our Thanksgiving dinner!

Its a gas stove with a blower in the oven, lets you air fry or roast, the only gripe I have with the unit is the stove top. The four burners arent regulated properly, they stay on high through 2/3 of the knob rotation making it difficult to get the exact temp youre looking for and the center burner that comes with a grill takes forever to heat up. It takes a good ten to fifteen minutes on high to get hot enough to cook pancakes.

We purchased a Samsung RF24FSEDBSR in 2016, built April 2015. 4 door model so that the cold cuts and handy things are in a middle drawer. Great features, and electronic controls provide good feedback that all is working. Bright interior LEDs. Ice maker and water dispenser. The functions and features sold it for us. Within months, the door shelves were cracking. We are not abusive, just placing milk. The plastic is brittle. The shelf bottom will crack and the tabs that hold the door can come apart, which drops it on the floor. Had to buy two new shelves. I bought Styrene plastic sheets from a hobby store, cut and sandwiched them to the drawers in weak areas (using MEK), for reinforcement which solved that issue. Never experienced such poor plastic (HIPS) in a $2000 appliance... or even a $500 unit.At about 3 years old, the fridge starts to buzz inside, and ice is visible in the interior back panel. Ice is encroaching on the evaporator fan. I removed the back panel to access the evaporator coil. Solid ice in the upper half of the coil. As if the defrost heater doesnt work. In fact, the defrost heater does work. Could not find any fault in the defrost thermo-disk, and all temperature sensors measured OK. Heater works too (120 Ohms). Changed the defrost thermo-disk anyway and really defrosted and dried out the cover using a hair dryer. Fridge ran fine for 8 months. Repeat. Turns out the defroster only takes care of the lower half of the evaporator coil! Design flaw. Once you start hearing the fan buzzing, the ice is building in the upper half of the evaporator coil. Once the fan gets stopped, everything including the styrofoam turns into a block of ice. You can thaw out the styrofoam and remove the ice. Or replace that back cover and styrofoam until another humid time when it will freeze up again (design flaw). Ive now defrosted it manually about 6 or 7 times, using every opportunity to measure and determine why this is happening. Ive checked all on-line videos and advice to solve these freeze up issues and attempted those that make sense (cause-effect). I have a power datalogger monitoring the fridge electrical consumption so I can evaluate how often and for how long it defrosts. Taken it on as a riddle.I did contact Samsung early in this process. They sounded concerned, but when the customer service rep check with their manager, they stated I must have been abusive to cause plastic to crack. No warranty. Yeah right. Im gluing everything together. Today, another roller wheel broke off... glued it back on. The freeze issues started right after warranty. Glad I can trouble shoot and fix myself, else the cost would be crazy. Now Im looking at modifications to prevent the evap coil from freezing up again. Whether you are a technical person or not... its not worth the trouble.... Dont let Samsung glitz sucker you in! It is a lemon. Wife hates it too.

I bought a Samsung electric stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher mostly because Samsung had received top ratings from JD Power for six years in a row. Within the first six months, the plastic around the edges of the glass shelves began cracking in several places, most of which were in places which could not have been bumped or struck. When I called customer service, their first response was to blame me. After about 15 minutes of discussion they did send me out one new shelf. Within a year, the plastic on another shelf began cracking. Withing three years, one of the front burners on the electric stove stayed on high when set at any level. When I called customer service, I was told that they would send someone out to inspect it, and replace it if necessary with a cost of $200/hr (with a minimum of 1 hour) since I did not buy the extended warranty, but there would be no charge for the part since it was under a 5-year warranty. I offered to send them the defective part if they would send me a replacement. They refused, saying that I would have to pay the $200/hour service charge to get the part under warranty. I had to pay $47 to get the part, despite the warranty, so I could replace it myself. Within six months, the other front burner had the same defect. I can only guess that Samsung was able to buy the high rating from JD Power because of the problems and extremely poor customer service I experienced with the Samsung products I have purchased.

Just purchased less than one year ago. After 3 months the freezer frosts my things so badly I cant identify what is what. Then the ice maker stops making ice from time to time. I called and they sent out a service guy. He said it was normal. I accepted that but then it got worse. I called Samsung cust. service and sent them pictures. They said I would be able to get a replacement fridge. They gave me a reference number to give to Best Buy. I did that and Best Buy said the number did not work. Whatever that meant. Since then I have called every month for 5 months and they always give me a bogus number. Yesterday I called again and they said I would be getting a call from their executive customer service center within the hour with a correct number. I never heard from them. Samsung has lied and lied to me and given me the runaround. I will never buy a Samsung product again.

Where to begin: the clear plastic fronts of all of the door shelves cracked and fell off. Some door shelves simply fell out and broke as well. The center deli drawer sticks requiring serious pulling to get it open. The hinges for the cover for the deli drawer broke at the pivots which are built into the refrigerator. The cover also fell out and cracked. Our house is not air-conditioned. When the temperature gets into the 80s, the refrigerators control computer does not like that and the control panel blinks on and off, turning on and off all of the functions (upper ice maker, lower ice maker, crushed ice, water) and the temperature control randomly switches as well. The lower ice maker fell off after a few months. Samsung would not help. I engaged a private repair company who indicated that they had seen that happen before. A few weeks after he replaced the ice maker, it broke again. The repair company indicated that they would not/could not guarantee any repairs on the Samsung refrigerator. At this point, there is no lower ice maker at all. Upon several occasions, the upper ice maker flap jammed open. And as other reviewers have mentioned - Samsung customer service is about the worst one could imagine. In all, the terrible experiences that we have had with this refrigerator have given us one clear path forward: NEVER, EVER purchase any Samsung refrigerators!!!

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher for my new home and I purchased it 3 months before my house was finished. When the contractor was ready I bought the dishwasher in the box to the new house so they can install it. We moved in the house Oct. 1, 2019. Two weeks ago I called Samsung about the dishwasher wasnt working and explained to the customer service rep that I havent been in my home a year yet. I was advised that the dishwasher is out of warranty and that I can pay someone to come out and check it out. They said the warranty expired at the end of last month. Stupid me I purchased a Samsung microwave, Samsung dishwasher, and a Samsung refrigerator. Im disappointed one because I got less than a year of service out of the dishwasher and two the level of customer service you get when you spend the extra money to get a product that suppose to be good. I will purchase a new dishwasher but it wont be samsung.

We bought a Samsung RS275 side by side refrigerator in March 2010. From the start, the ice maker was completely inadequate and could not keep up with a family of four. In July 2011 water started accumulating in the bottom of the refrigerator and freezing the lower vegetable bin. We found that the defroster drain hole was freezing closed with ice, thereby not allowing the defroster to drain properly, hence it ended up on the floor of the refrigerator. I managed to extend a piece of copper wire into the hole (it was heated from the defroster heating coil) and that solved the problem for a couple of years. Keeping the hole open. The problem reappeared in the Spring of 2014 and weve been trying to fix it ever since. Also, the water dispenser line continues to freeze. I will never buy another Samsung refrigerator.

Bought a Samsung oven range at Lowes with a rating of 5 stars and had it delivered (I thought it was an extremely great deal at 100 or so dollars below cost). Do not know who is doing the rating? After delivery I followed the directions precisely as my old stove was extremely old and conventional. I turned on the oven as directed and immediately noticed the continual clicking. Like I stated, my old stove was way outdated and thought maybe this was some sort of break in issue. Then the smell was horrible (HORRIBLE). I then opened every window and door and turned on the central air (it was off due to the weather being about 70 or so degrees outside) and put my dogs outside. I did this for hours, about 5 approximately. I then did not feel comfortable cooking with it but went ahead anyways. I put in a pan of buffalo wings. After the cook time I pulled them out and had no intention of eating them due to the ongoing smell, but found them burnt on top and undercooked underneath. I then decided to make a rice dish and turned the left burner on. It got extremely hot and within a minute. I was impressed honestly until I then turned the burner down to 2 to simmer. It stayed extremely hot!!! Glowing red! I then shut the burner off but the surface heat light stayed on and heat was still radiating for at least a half hour after. At this point I was scared of the stove!!! It was no longer clicking but was very hot and lights were still on although all burners had been off for at least 30 minutes. I decided to open the oven door and brought in a box fan and pointed it towards the open door and turned my Air Conditioning down to 68 degrees. I did not even dare to pull the stove out and unplug it as it was still so hot!!! Oven and stove were radiating, and heat surface lights were on although all units were turned off. After an hour or two (left the room) I came back to find the lights off and it still very warm but off. I then called Samsung and never got through! Called Lowes but it was after hours and no results. Now, I then had a family emergency and death in the family. I then tried cooking on the range Friday (got the range on Sunday remember). Long story short I got the same results and saw the 17 pages of Consumer Affairs issues, so I decided to document my issues and take still photos and video. After all this Lowes (my local store) did not hesitate to offer me a replacement stove. I had no problem with that and it was very fair although they would not pull the range from the floor and I demanded they do so! I insisted it was an extreme fire hazard and they did not disagree but did not comply either, so I called corporate. They did not agree either so I told them I would be filing a grievance and possible suit as well as calling the local investigative reporter. It is now a day later and have not been to the store. Again, tired from all this and my family emergency and death. I can only hope these ranges are no longer being sold. I also took still photos and video of the range burning for at least 40 minutes and heat warning lights on without any stove or oven turned on. YES I REPEAT.... THE RANGE WAS BURNING FULLY HOT WITHOUT ANY FEATURE TURNED ON!!! THAT WAS FOR OVER 40 MINUTES! PHOTOS AND VIDEO OF MY RANGE FULLY BURNING WHILE TURNED OFF. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG RANGE!!!

We bought the top of the line dishwasher. We got it on sale for $900 and we installed it later as we were renovating our kitchen. We purchased the machine and installed it a few months later. And after a while we kept getting an error message, 1E. We researched and it was indicated to recycle the power as we did. And it would be good for a few months, and it would start again. This went on for a while, now warranty is over and we called and they wanted to send a repair man, which I refused. Why should we pay for a call when it is obvious this machine has an issue. Bought this from SEARS just before Christmas around December 22 of 2010 to match the Samsung Stove that I bought for the new home that we had just moved into. Looked great and I was very pleased until it stopped working on Jan. 4th of 2012 (approximately). Throwing the error code SE and unplugging it and re-plugging it back in would allow it to work for maybe 5 minutes. I was so upset when I called Sears and they wouldnt even entertain the idea of coming out to service it unless I wanted to pay for the service call and whatever the problem was to fix. I realize that there is only a 1-year warranty on the microwave, but come on! It stopped working 2 weeks past the 1-year warranty end. Whatever happened to standing by what you sell? Its a shame that most of these products are made overseas and so cheaply and then sold for way more than they are worth. Its obvious to me that Samsung products are pretty much pieces of crap that arent even worth looking at. I encourage anyone considering one of their products to think twice. I am a very unhappy consumer and will tell everyone that I know to not even consider any product manufactured by Samsung. Yes, I could have purchased an extended warranty but come on people, 54 weeks an appliance works before breaking down and needing repair? That is absolutely absurd. I pretty much told Sears that they lost a customer and anyone else that I knew too. No wonder they are going out of business! They have terrible customer service and dont give a damn about the consumer. I had an independent service company come out to take a look, who, by the way did not charge me for the service call, as I had explained the situation to them. He checked it out and told me the motherboard would have to be replaced and that it would cost almost as much as I paid for the microwave in the first place. How disappointing that I have been sitting here with a microwave for the past 2 years that doesnt work because I dont exactly have the luxury of being able to just go out and purchase a new one every year or two. Im furious at Samsung for manufacturing such a substandard product and then knowing that it has problems, refused to do any kind of recall or offer to repair at no charge and also SEARS for being so not standing behind what they sell. Cheap labor = cheap materials = cheap products. Truly disgusting!

A month later again, and another month came. We turned the ice maker off because too loud of noise. Called service center, said they have 2 places to call. One in PA and the other also same distance in MD. We live in MD. Even though we turned ice maker off noise continued. We called someone local and came out next day. Said the seal and ice maker were the problem & ice getting stuck. After $98 for service call it started all over again. Called our local company again. They said Samsung has a 3 week back order for the parts. Hmmm the next visit to fix with labor & parts $325. I just dealt with Samsung with their washing machine recall 3 or 4 months ago. Now this.

My icemaker dispenser stopped dispensing cubed ice. It still dispensed crushed ice and water. I called Samsung for factory authorized service. They arranged for one of their authorized repair serviceman to perform repair. I watched as he called Samsung to talk to a tech. Im an electrician and it became apparent to me he did not know what he was doing. He listened to the tech and using his meter, he checked several connections on the printed circuit board. Several times, he was checking the wrong terminals and had to ask the tech to repeat where to check. He said he needed to order parts and would be back in a few weeks. When he returned, he installed the parts and said everything was working. I paid $433.77. Later, I noticed there was no ice being made. When I tried the dispenser, it no longer tried to dispense any ice cubed or crushed. I called Samsung to complain. I was given a phone number to call. The person there listened to the trouble I was having and said the parts replaced would not have fixed my problem. He said he would send out parts and arrange for a different repair company to install. When the new repair person arrived, he listened to my problem and said the parts sent would not fix the trouble. He checked out a few things. When he put the parts back together, the water dispenser no longer worked. He said he would need to call Samsung for parts and left. After two weeks, I called to find out the status. I was told that Samsung would not authorize any farther repair but nobody bothered to call me.I called Samsung again and was told they were sorry about the misunderstanding and issued a new work order number. A few days later, I received an email stating the work order number was cancelled. Another call, another order number and again another cancel email. Again, I called, got a new number and again a few days later, a cancel e-mail. I called again, this time, I was asked to hold. Before the operator put me on hold, I heard him say to someone else, Its that (my name) again. What do you want to do? Then he hit the hold button. When he came back on line, he said Samsung was no longer going to attempt any repair. When I stated that I was out $433 and my unit was worse than when their repair people started working on it, he stated, Sorry but youre on your own. This story has been abbreviated for space allowed. This exchange went on for almost three months and involved many, many phone calls and e-mails. It involved nine different service order numbers, most of which were cancelled within days of being issued. Do not buy any Samsung product. They will not stand behind it with quality service and will just try to drag out the problem until you go away.

We purchased a Samsung convection oven in 2013. Weve had numerous issues with it, including easily scratched cooktop surface, uneven heating both in the oven and the burner elements, the convection motor not working consistently, touch pad controls that were difficult to adjust. This year whilst roasting our Thanksgiving turkey, the convection fan was working, however, half way through roasting the turkey, the oven lit up with a blue light and sparks were flying everywhere. I turned off the oven, hauled out the turkey, then switched off the breaker. When faced with the decision of whether to fix or replace the range, we went with replace. I will never trust a Samsung product again, it is not worth the safety of my family.

We purchased this refrigerator from Lowes in April 2013. In December 2013, we noticed that the ice cubes were smaller, and the water dispenser flow was much slower. I contacted the Samsung Help Center and was told to turn up the water pressure in my home, even though it was (properly) set at 60 pounds per square inch! I did turn it up to 90 pounds per square inch, and it seemed to be OK --not back to normal-- for a short while!Several months ago the ice cubes began to be much smaller, and the water flow reduced again. Ive tested the water supply to the unit, and it is just fine. I believe Samsung refrigerators have a basic engineering design flaw, one that Samsung will not admit nor own up to... Thus, my recommendation to NOT BUY a Samsung refrigerator! Coincidentally, we have a GE refrigerator purchased around the same time for our Florida house, and we have NEVER had a problem with it at all. Come on Samsung, own up to the problems with your design, and either FIX THEM, OR GIVE US OUR MONEY BACK!

Our Samsung Microwave SMH9187S had to have its motherboard replaced twice now in less than 3 years due to SE error and while run a few seconds and stopping. According to their own technical repair specialist it is a design problem with moisture which occurs when cooking food on the stove below their over-the-range Samsung Microwave SMH9187S units (Very Expensive Issue to continually have to fix). See all the complaints with Samsung on the Internet regarding not fixing known design and potential safety issues with its products and discontinuing them once issues start to mount to avoid additional liability. They just say its out of warranty and not our problem, call a Samsung authorized service company to have repairs made. This will be the last Samsung product we ever buy again (that includes everything Samsung makes from refrigerators, oven, stoves washers, dryers, phones, tablets, TVs, laptops, electronics, etc. And especially microwaves). When a company knowing refuses to stand behind its product design defects the only course for consumers is to not trust or purchase any products from that company and warn all your friends and neighbors regarding of the companies business practices after the sale and they have got your money. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

I purchased a Samsung French Door freezer on the bottom refrigerator from hhgregg in April 2014. Heres a list of problems... Door handle didnt fit, had to get new doors. Ice maker cubes frost over. Come out cubes and crushed together, water works sporadically. Repairman been here twice, still not repaired. Water filter leaked, flooded kitchen floor. Apparently you have to move the refrigerator out and turn water off at back each time you change filter (never had another refrigerator that required that). Repairman could not roll out because the rollers on bottom of fridge have gone flat and will not roll so requires dolly to move each time you change filter. PIECE OF JUNK!!! Would not buy Samsung ever again!!!

Samsung over stove microwave Model # SMH9187W - I noticed yesterday that the control panel was showing SE on the panel. I checked online to troubleshoot this issue and came across this website. I then called Samsung customer service line and only got a # to call service company. I was told Samsung would only pay for panel but not labor of 170.00. SO I did the online chat with an agent and cut and paste many reviews that were shown here. Then I got another phone number and again explained and was then transferred to service and surprise, service person will come and replace my panel 100% FREE OF CHARGE. I was very calm and polite and explained issues are confirmed by at least 200 other owners of this product. I am please with outcome and happy that Samsung realized that customer service is important.

We have had the Samsung dishwasher about 4 years and this is the 4th time we have had the same trouble. The machine comes on and then you can hear the water going to the washer and then you hear it pumping out. Then the lights come on indicating low water level. According to the owner manual the first it happen it was still in warranty. The repairman came out and replaces a sensor box on the side of the washer. The second time it happen about a year later my husband took the sensor box off and replaced it. It wasnt under warranty. We cant afford to call the repairman. The last time I took everything from the washer and ran a couple cups of vinegar through a cycle and it has worked fine until this time I tried to run the washer again with vinegar but it didnt work. I will never get another Samsung appliance again. We also have a refrigerator that has some problems but thank the Good Lord it still works. The model # for the dishwasher is DMT 400RHSAAX. SN is A3JAG9MZ A03217D. We bought the dishwasher at Sears in Shelby NC.

We purchased a Samsung french door refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom. The ice maker didnt work on day one, they sent someone to replace it. This should have been a clue to us, after about 18 months it quit working again. Repair guy replaced the ice maker TWICE with no luck. Finally Samsung informed him that he needed to replace the ice maker and the board at the same time in order for it to work. It lasted about 9 months and is broken again. During that time it would stop making ice for a few days (I like to say it went on vacation which I cant afford to do because I have to keep repairing my stupid ice maker!!). Anyway, now its no longer making any ice - I think it decided to retire and move to a warmer climate. Now were buying bags of ice, which is a pain in the you know what, I cant stand room temperature water. Never, never, ever buy a Samsung refrigerator.

We purchased the Samsung french door refrigerator Model RF267ABRS in May of 2009. We bought an extended warranty from Lowes at the time of purchase which was a good thing!! Within 6 months we started having problems with ice forming underneath the deli drawer and out of the holes in the inside, back of refrigerator. We called the warranty company and they sent out a technician within 2 days. He informed us that this is a common problem with Samsung refrigerators as the drainage tube in the rear of the refrigerator is too small and ices up. He advised us to defrost the refrigerator and he would return IN 4 DAYS, once it was totally defrosted and run a line through the tube to check for blockages. He advised me to call Samsung regarding this problem. I did call and the service rep told me they had NEVER had this problem with their refrigerators before and refused to do anything about it. I told her it was all over the reviews and she told me they dont read them. (HA-HA)!!! I requested to speak with a Supervisor and was told the same thing. Since that time, I have called them a total of 6 times with no resolution other than being told to DEFROST when this happens!!! I thought I was buying a FROST-FREE REFRIGERATOR but Samsung seems to think otherwise, taking no responsibility for their product. Six months later, the same thing happened. This time before the warranty company would not send anyone out until the refrigerator was DEFROSTED FOR 4 DAYS. He came out and again ran a line through the tube and left. Since then, this piece of junk freezes up every 4 months and has to be totally defrosted for 4 days to de-ice it. I will never buy anything from Samsung again as they do not stand behind their products. To have paid the amount of $$$ on this and have them completely ignore the problem is poor business practice and tells a lot about the company and how it is run. NEVER AGAIN!

Samsung is giving me the royal run-around in trying to: * get a 3rd new replacement refrigerator. I bought a 5-year warranty from Home Depot, where I originally bought this refrigerator on 7/15/13; it arrived damaged out of the box; the 2nd refrigerator, which is sitting in my kitchen, wont make ice and the temp in the fridge doesnt get above 54.6 (so all food has spoiled!)* get my current fridge repaired -- TO NO AVAIL! I have called and spoken with 6 different Samsung reps -- one told me parts were on order from Via Appliance; another said well have to refund your money for the fridge but wont refund my $ for the 5-year warranty (I have to deal w/ Home Depot for that!), and yet another said they couldnt help me -- I have to contact their external affairs dept. but refused to give me a phone number. It seems the ONLY appliance repair company that Samsung has under contract in Northern Virginia is so backed up with Samsung refrigerator repairs from customers that theyre refusing to take new service requests from Samsung. There seem to be so many problems with these refrigerators that appliance repair shops are REFUSING to repair them -- even when NEW and even when THEYRE under contract with Samsung. Unbelievable!!! We purchased a Samsung French Door Style Refrigerator from our local Lowes about 6 years ago. A few years after we had it, the produce drawers started to get water in them and then started freezing into sheets of ice. It ruined produce, etc and then we couldnt use either of the drawers. It cost us at that time $200 to have it fixed. The repairman told me then that this was a common problem with this refrigerator and it had to do with the design. Just called a repairman today to come and repair my refrigerator with the very same issue. Another $250 repair into this product. Samsung should stand behind these repairs if this a poor design or defective part in this refrigerator. My Samsung French door 28 cu. ft. refrigerator was purchased in April 2011 from Lowes. It cost $2,800.00; that’s a lot of money. I had a Samsung washer and dryer and a big screen TV that I was happy with, and was not aware of any problems with their refrigerators. The other day, I tried to get ice from the dispenser and no ice came out; just water. I called Samsung and they told me to reset the icemaker. I told them we had ice but none would come out of the dispenser. We cleaned out the old ice, reset the icemaker, and waited 24 hours like they said. The ice maker made ice but none would come out of the dispenser. I called them back, and they said they would send out someone to look at it, but could not tell me how much it would cost. For some reason, I did not purchase an extended warranty; I have it on everything else. About a few days after purchasing fridge, my brother-in-law died and my husband had a heart attack at the funeral so I did not think about the warranty about a week later. I called Lowes trying to get one, and they could not as it was a week later. Then I called Samsung, and they would not give me an extended warranty; so I have none. Now I am left with a $2,800.00 fridge with no ice or pay the high price for a service man to fix it. We are seniors, and you would think that the icemaker would work longer that than 2 years. I have never had an icemaker go out on much cheaper fridges. Sorry, but this sucks.

Buyer beware. Samsung will not reimburse you for out of pocket expenses for repair of their refrigerator. I purchased a French door Samsung fridge in June 2017. I tried to remove the ice bucket. It was frozen, I called customer service, the fridge was only 3 months old. Samsung sent their appliance tech over to install a new ice bucket. The tech said to unplug the fridge so the ice would melt and he could replace the defective ice bucket. I said, Then the meat & dairy products would spoil. I was told to put it all in the bottom freezer, with dry ice on top. I said, Who will pay for the dry ice. Samsung will reimburse me for the cost of the dry ice. Well that never happened. After numerous phone calls I decided to contact BBB in New Jersey to file a complaint. A rep from Samsung did call after BBB sent them my complaint. Well I got a different story from the Samsung rep. Samsung does not reimburse customers for their out of pocket expenses, even if their fridge is only 3 months old. This is a Billion Dollar Corp. I told the rep and Samsung wont refund me $51.00. Samsung Refrigerator Model # RF263AEBP, Serial # JJ054GBZ400358B, and date
Samsung Refrigerator Model # RF263AEBP, Serial # JJ054GBZ400358B, and date of purchase: 04-30-2010. On 3-21-12 on line chat with Samsung: I am having a problem with the middle vent holes inside of the back of the refrigerator frozen with ice. Also, the bottom of the inside of the refrigerator is full of water. I had the same problem back in September and I defrosted the vent holes with a hair dryer (like the Samsung customer service rep told us to), and we wiped up all the water but now the same thing happened again! Eventually it fills up and leaks on the floor! I had a local repair tech that just became an authorized Samsung dealer but he didnt know what the problem was and he couldnt get through to Samsung. My wife and I are very upset that this is happening since it is only 1-1/2 years old and we spent $1,143.84 to purchase it! It already did cost me $85.00 for the repair guy to come out and he couldnt do anything. Even though the warranty has run out, we dont feel that we should have to pay to have this repaired. Now, it is making loud/soft humming noise and I cant get the temperature inside the refrigerator lower than 53 degrees! Also, I just cleaned out all the water sitting inside the bottom again under the cool select pantry we have to do it once a month! It was going to take a Samsung tech several days before they could come out so I called another local repairman and he came out the next day. He spent a lot of time at my home and did figure out what was wrong. The back panel inside was completely frozen up. He had to order (2) parts and come back and replaced a defective inside heating element and also a new fan motor assembly because it burnt out from trying to run while frozen. His total charges came to $314.82. The repair was made on 04-12-12.Last week, the middle vent holes started freezing up again. I defrosted it with a hair dryer (which is what a Samsung customer service rep told me to do way back when I first started having the problem), but it started freezing up again this week. I am going to call the repairman I had out and discuss it with him. I’m thinking that the refrigerator is either not going into a defrost cycle enough times or the inside heating element isn’t sufficient to do the job or Samsung is selling defective parts. I will let you know what happens and how much more it is going to cost me. This has been a frustrating, ongoing ordeal for both my wife and I. After spending so much money, we expected to not have something like this happen for many years!

Worst product we ever purchased. Still under warranty, 3 years old, ice maker went out during the holidays, one month later freezer went out. Called Samsung they asked for all our paperwork and purchase receipt. I sent it all and the response was that it was not clear enough to read. They suggested I call repair. Did not tell me it had to be a repair service that was contracted with them. Closest one is 1 1/2 hours away. I called local and while he was at our house he called Samsung Tech service and was told it was our compressor and that it was still under warranty. Serviceman did not fix as his company is not contracted with them so they would not get paid. Said he would fix it if I paid the $650.00 up front and worked with Samsung to be reimbursed. I called Samsung they told me they would not reimburse because it was not their contracted serviceman. They contacted their serviceman and he canceled on me saying his guy had the flu, but he sent in a report stating it was not the compressor. How he knew that without coming and looking at it Ill never understand. Samsung refused to pay or help in any way. The only good thing was I called Lowes and told them I was returning it talked with manager of store. He was amazing. Told me to go online and pick out a new fridge and they would replace it. Which they did. With a brand new FRIGIDAIRE! We will never buy Samsung appliance again!!

The Oven started smoking (first time used), filled the house with toxic smoke, burnt my ladys face. The microwave exhaust fan never turned on. All this happened within the first time we used the oven. The side by side refrigerator started leaking water and wont stop leaking (water dispenser). Samsung sent out repairman for the range-oven, ordered parts then came back out to finish repairs, tried to use oven again, oven went up in smoke again. SoCalGas Co. came out and RED-tagged the Range-Oven. So far Samsung has blamed us for all the problems. We had to hire an attorney to handle this mess. Bought this Samsung model #DW80H9930US dishwasher 8 months ago. The piece of crap starting leaking on its third use and has never stopped. The dishwasher leaks from the doors and seems beneath the door. It has never latched properly so that when if and when it ever reaches a steam cycle without human intervention, the steam escapes from the top of the dishwasher and soaks the entire counter top which then drips to the floor too. Sometimes, I would excited because I only had to intervene with the door twice during a cycle to ensure washing completion. 8 months later, I have to re-latch the door six times to complete the cycle while the dishwasher pisses all over the floor. Ive had Samsung out two times already to fix this never ending problem to no avail and I am working on my third time now.Getting in touch with someone to speak with at Samsung who can get me to the right person to fix the damn thing is a nightmare. After speaking with at least two people who I have to repeatedly ask to repeat themselves because of thick middle eastern accents, I am then told to email all of my proof of purchase receipts to an unnamed department without any point of contact information, whom I am told will get back to me within 24 hours. It then goes from 24 hours to 48 hours (as told by the third person with an accent). When I clarify with her that in two days I should be receiving a call, she tells me that its 48 BUSINESS HOURS! So I now have to wait another week before I even get a call back to tell me they have verified I made the purchase legitimately.So... I email my proof of purchase to a totally different group of people (apart from the customer service reps with accents) and they get back with me about 17 hours later, with an e-mail telling me I need to upload the documents instead of emailing the documents; more time wasted. This is Samsung!!! And when they call me back about four days later, with a blessing stating they believe I made the purchase, they call a company in California who contracts with repairmen in my state who will eventually come to my house to look at the leaking monstrosity. And if they dont get it fixed on that visit, I have to start the process over again. I am disgusted with Samsung and will never. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG APPLIANCES. There is a class action lawsuit with their washing machines right now. I am surprised there is not a class action for the dishwashers. Anyone know a good torte attorney???

We purchased a Samsung refrigerator instead of another brand for two reasons. One I liked the french door in the middle, and second we had numerous other Samsung electronic products and they performed well. That was our first mistake. Just because a company makes a good Television doesnt mean they know how to design and build an equally well performing refrigerator. About all I can say about it is that it does freeze but from there on forget it. The ice maker and in particular the dispenser suck. We never get only cubes, we also get crushed along with the cubes and the crushed flies all over. After 2-1/2 years Im ready to give up.

We bought the dishwasher January 2011 and problems began in October 2011. We have had 4 different service visits with the 4th being today, March 20th 2011. It is still not fixed and now we are without a dishwasher since January 16th. Repairs have all been different, but the problem has been the same. The dishwasher stops mid-cycle and 2 lights blink. Their first repair over the phone was to turn off the breaker and try again. This did not help. Here is the timeline of repairs: 2011 - October 3, I called for appointment. October 24, repaired detergent latch. 2012 - January 16, I called for appointment. January 25, repaired drain pump. February 17, I called for appointment. March 15, replaced sump pump assembly. March 15, I called for appointment. March 20, I ordered something for the heater. This is getting absolutely absurd.
