Product Reviews:

I am not the type to write reviews and complain about products but Samsung has gone beyond my limits with bad products and customer service. I replaced my kitchen appliances with Samsung stainless appliances. My microwave broke and I repaired it once, it was out of warranty and I replaced (less than 2 years old). My oven was heating correctly and now wont heat at all. I looked up the code to troubleshoot (E08) and found it was a common problem with Samsung oven. I called Samsung and was on the phone for 2 hours with no assistance. I contacted Lowes and they were not helpful either. I have an oven that doesnt work- Samsung and Lowes have offered no assistance. I think Samsung believes in purchasing another one. I do not feel like they made a quality product or help consumers to correct issues that were at fault with manufacturer. Very displeased with entire situation, it also takes a lot of time to call and be on hold for hours. I will never purchase Samsung product again.

Before Thanksgiving, the freezer stopped working. I had to throw out hundreds of dollars of food. I called in a service repair person. The first repair guy said he could not fix it. Our home owners warranty company called in Sears repair and they fixed it. Now 3 1/2 months later, the same thing is happening, this refrigerator is defective. I again had to throw out hundreds of dollars of food. I called Samsung. They said, Sorry, we will send a repair person but you will have to pay for service call and parts. I said unacceptable. Samsung should stand by their products, this refrigerator is obviously defective. Do not buy Samsung, very poor customer service!!!!

As an appliance repair tech, I can assure you that Samsung dishwashers are the worst of the worst. If you take your Samsung dishwasher back to the place of purchase and complain loudly enough, many retailers will refund the purchase price. One can only assume that they are aware that these things are duds.

Samsung stainless steel with French side-by-side doors - Very pleased with the size, appearance and performance of fridge, freezer and ice-maker. Purchased at Lowes over seven years ago, the fridge is well-designed and reliable. However, ice has been forming at the back of one crisper drawer and likely needs technician to look at it.

I purchased a kitchen suite at ABT less than a year ago. Refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, microwave. Every one of these appliances are garbage! The refrigerator door shelves cracked and fell to the floor in less than two weeks. The refrigerator makes intermittent LOUD noises like a grinding sound. Water pools at every bin and the worst of all is the layout is impossible to not knock everything over trying to retrieve a single item. The dishwasher stinks...LITERALLY! It always smells awful. It doesnt clean dishes well at all and leaves chunks of residue after several cycles of cleaning the same load. The repairman said Well, just leave the door open and it wont smell so bad! Really? The oven is constantly setting off our carbon monoxide detector and recently, I thought there was moisture built up on the oven door and when I tried to open it to wipe the glass front it exploded in a thousand fragments of glass everywhere! This company should be held accountable before someone dies...

I spent 6 months last year dealing with the same problem on my Samsung Refrigerator French Doors as Denise from Eastport, NY. The end result was a manufacturers defect and it was corrected by changing a metal piece which originally was about 2 inches long to a new piece which is now about 4-5 inches long and this allows the fridge to drain the water to the freezer section which it couldnt do before. Before this fix, the back of the refrigerator was full of ice. The temperature control stopped functioning and water was all at the bottom of the drawers since the drain was blocked with ice due to the defective metal piece that was not long enough to allow water to drain. This was very frustrating and, after many phone calls and visits, they realized the defect and changed all the parts again. I was still covered by my insurance plan but what happens to those people who didnt purchase the plan?

We purchase the Samsung stainless steel side by side with freezer on bottom. Looks great but the ice maker doesnt work. Called serviceman, came out and replaced the ice maker, worked for a few day then started freezing up, called serviceman again. They replaced the third ice maker. Work for a few days and it started freezing up. Now it is out of warranty. Will cost a lot of money, the ice maker has been trouble since almost the beginning, I cleaned out the frozen ice out and now the ice is very wet, it drips water out of the ice maker out of the door and on the floor till it completely freezes up. We had to go out and purchase an portable ice maker so we can have ice.

I bought a fridge on 09/06/2013. This is a double door with ice maker and water on the door. So far I have had to call service for the ice maker 3x, it keeps freezing up. When I called on it, they suggested it needed a new filter - when the fridge needs a new filter it lights up on the panel, not lit. Also the water stream has lessened. Yesterday I noticed the rubber around one of the doors was ripped.

I purchased a Samsung 2 door fridge with lower freezer drawer and upper ice
I purchased a Samsung 2 door fridge with lower freezer drawer and upper ice and water dispenser. It was delivered and installed in May 2016. Right away the ice cubes where either very small and dry or regular size and wet. The cubes regularly melted and froze into a block of ice, where we had trouble removing the ice tray. Once opened we found that the whole ice compartment was frozen including the ice making machine. We had to regularly turn it off and defrost it. Sometimes the ice would melt and drip from the ice/water dispenser. In the summer 2016 we noticed that our food was spoiling. Soon after the fridge was making a loud noise. After some investigation we found out that the fan area of the fridge was filling with ice which froze the fan in a block of ice, which caused the fridge to warm without any indication on the fridge thermostat. Every few months we have to take everything out, thaw out the fridge for 2 days and then restart the fridge. Weve had two repairs done by a certified appliance repair company. The first time we were told that the problem was a well known flaw in manufacturing. Samsung has recommended a kit to fix the problem, but the repair company said that it doesnt work. We paid them to put the kit in, which was some tin foil and cardboard to redirect the air flow and replacement tubs to help with the backflow of water (which both cause the water to back up and freeze into the fan area). One month later the fan was frozen again and our food was spoiling again. We paid for the repair company to return. They checked everything and told us that there was no way to make the fridge run the way it should. They told us that its a well known manufacturing flaw that samsung will not fix and will not recall. We paid over $2000 for this fridge and Samsung has told us that they will not refund or replace it even though it hasnt worked right from the start.

In 2013 we purchased a Samsung Refrigerator French door up and down. We paid 2,999.00. First we had the ice bucket replaced twice. This took several months each time to get a service order number. The problem existed. Finally the third repairman told us there was a Freon leak which couldnt be fixed. In March 2015, Samsung finally agreed it was a manufacturing problem and we would be refunded the full amount of our purchase price. I have made well over 50 documented calls to find out when we would receive our check. We have been without a refrigerator for over three months. Each time I call, I speak to a different person. I have been told I would receive a satisfaction survey many times which I have never received. We are still waiting for our check which was apparently mailed over a month ago. This whole experience has convinced me Samsung does not care one bit about their Customer Service. We have many Samsung products. I now pray nothing happens to any other Samsung product. Im not sure I could go through this awful nightmare again.

I bought a Samsung stove - cost over $1000 for dual ovens (when the slide in partition is used). It has always been ridiculously slow to reach cooking temperature - I have long since given up and just throw the food in and hope for the best. Its usually about 10 minutes to reach 350 degrees. The real problem started when I was broiling toast - happily I was watching it so when the back of stove caught fire I was there to shut everything down and hit the breaker. A huge circuit board caught fire and melted and destroyed all the wiring too. I waited weeks for a technician who charged me $260 (through Samsungs site) and it worked again, but constantly makes clicking noises. The tech said this was normal!!! (It was clicking while he there.) I guess he thinks Im stupid! Now the convection fan comes on without turning on the convection side and keeps running with the door is open. WHAT A PIECE OF JUNK!!! Good chance that my house would burned. SHAME ON SAMSUNG. Theyve ignored the fire issue for years.

So we purchased our Samsung oven in Dec. of 2016 and did not have it delivered due to construction until May 31st 2017 and not installed until June, (was told by Best Buy salesman that warranty did not start until the delivery date, which was a lie) so two days ago when going to cook something for lunch the oven would not heat. Nothing. Nada!!! It hasnt been hooked up a year yet. Called Samsung and no help. Nothing. We are stuck having to pay to have it repaired or try to do it ourselves. Bought over 2000 dollars worth of Samsung appliances that day and no help from Best Buy or Samsung whatsoever. So mad!!! How can a stove go out that fast? Its not even used daily. Never again and I will tell everyone I know not to buy Samsung appliances. Just waiting for the Fridge to go next!!!

This dishwasher makes it difficult to load plates and bowls into the bottom
This dishwasher makes it difficult to load plates and bowls into the bottom shelf. They slide into guides at an angle, straddling two rows and ending up crooked, requiring constant readjustment. Never encountered that before in any dishwasher. Also sometimes this dishwasher doesnt completely clean dishes, especially if food is dried on, say, between fork tines or on a plate rim. Yuck! Never had that before either. I would never buy this brand again.

Samsung Dishwasher Model #DMR 78AHS - I have only had this product 18 months and have had to replace the upper washing rack brackets twice. Once by home in-service repair, which was covered under warranty and then again by myself, which cost me $35 to repair. This is clearly a design flaw issue where the small plastic holders on the bracket break off and can potentially get inside the unit and cause it to make a grinding sound, which is unpleasant when you are expecting a quiet product. This is what happened to me. I have spoken to Samsung personnel and J & J International (supply part company) about the product flaw and neither company will admit there is a problem or provide reimbursement. Both keep referring me back to the other one. I have also sent e-mails to the CEO and Consumer Voice.

I bought Samsung dishwasher, Model# DWF600UTW/AA. While still it is under warranty service, there was a problem with run ending in the middle and light started flashing. I called for service. The service person pulled out the dishwasher, and pushed it back very hard. When he left, I started the run, and dishwasher leaked all over and water puddled in the basement. There was not just the damage in the basement, but I had to re-install the dishwasher again with my own money. I never had leak before, the service person caused it, and Samsung doesnt want to pay the damages. The standard answer is, warranty is on the equipment parts and not the installation. Although their service person caused it! Another thing, if there is a damage-claim, Samsung transfers you to corporate affairs. They make you wait on the phone for hours! I strongly will advice anyone, not to buy their equipment, because if something goes wrong, this company doesnt take the responsibility. Neither they have a good warranty service.

I bought the dishwasher for almost $500, embarrassed that I paid that much for such a piece of junk now and thinking I had paid that much did not purchase the extended warranty. My last dishwasher was almost 20 years old when I replaced it and I was thinking I had replaced it with a much higher end model. I did not buy a Bosch or some fancy machine, nor did I buy a cheap model, just something would get the job done for a longtime. At a little less than two years, I start getting low water warnings and it shuts off and wont complete its cycle, this gets worse and worse until I cant get it to run at all. I call Samsung and they tell me it is out of warranty and for $180 they can send someone out to look at the machine but it could cost parts as well. I got it fixed by my usual guy for much less and it worked form last Oct 2013 until this February 2014 and the same low water warning is going off and the machine once again shuts off multiple times before it runs and sometimes it take a day before it will run. This is definitely a defect in design that Samsung will not acknowledge. Do not buy a Samsung dishwasher. They do no customer service, nor do they acknowledge design defects. Their warranty repair people are limited and charge an outrageous amount, because they are the only game in town just to check out your machine and do not guaranty it will be covered and they are rude and arrogant as they know they are the only ones who cover your area. Just saying will never buy another Samsung appliance nor will I go to best buy as they are the ones who sold it to me, neither stand by their products.

I recently replaced all my appliances and I was tempted by the Samsung style so I bought all Samsung appliances. The problem so far was the dishwasher after 2 months old. Reading on Internet I figured out the inlet valve went bad. I have tried to contact Samsung customer service multiple times. The waiting time is very frustrating. The representatives dont really know what they are talking about. They just waste even more of the time. They are very polite though but not helpful. Finally, they told me they will send me a technician. This was exactly 2 months ago. Im still waiting for them to come and repair the dishwasher. At this point we know that replacing the dishwasher again may be the best option. Tossing $500 bucks annoys me but dealing with Samsung its not worth it anymore. Honestly, I have been a big fan of Samsung but this dishwasher turned me down. Please be aware of Samsung dishwasher is NOT the way to go.

We purchased our Samsung dishwasher in late 2014. It needed repair within three months when water was not pumping out of the bottom of the unit. The repairman said that it was a common problem... so common that he usually had several of the replacement parts on his truck. This time he didnt so it took two trips so there was a total of almost two weeks without the machine. Since then the dishwasher has been very noisy and I should probably call the repairman again but I figure something else will go wrong sooner or later. We did purchase a Lowes extended warranty. I find that the machine is hard to load. Perhaps I should have taken one of my plates to the store to try it out. Samsung repairman told me it would cost $280 on top of the $109.00 I paid for him to come out. It cost me $455.64 to have this microwave installed last year. Now this. I will NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM SAMSUNG.I am so angry as to how a company can be allowed to sell such cheaply made appliances and cheat consumers out of their hard earned money. This just seems unfair. Samsung has to be aware of this problem and yet they continue to sell the units with the same problem. Of course, they are of no help when you call. This magnetron is clearly a problem based on the reviews I have now read. Wish I had read them before purchasing my unit. I would not have bought the WORTHLESS microwave. I had an old GE microwave that I used for 10 years before it gave up and I replaced it. Never had any problems with that microwave. Now you purchase what appears to be a good microwave and this appliance is a TOTALLY WORTHLESS PIECE OF JUNK.

I have a Samsung RF25HMEDBSR/AA side by side refrigerator that is nearly 2 years old, The ice maker has been a pain since 6 months after it was purchased, the thing drips water constantly, is moldy, does not produce enough ice, etc. It is mounted in the refrigerator portion of the unit in the upper left corner. It seems like it does not stay cool enough to keep the ice fully frozen and functioning. I had the ice maker and auger replace under an extended warranty package (I have been forced to purchase the warranty to the tune of 300 plus dollars a year), because Samsung customer support will not address the issue. The ice maker failed again this weekend after functioning properly for about 4 months. Thank goodness the warranty is still in place so it will be covered. Come on Samsung there are a ton of bad reviews on this unit, step up to the plate and make this right for your loyal customers!

We bought a Samsung refrigerator (model Number Rf263BEAESR/AA) at or about the 25th of November 2016. At about the two-year mark, the icemaker started having problems. It was not making ice. At first, if I chipped off the built-up ice, it would produce ice again (this was a constant battle). After a while, it stopped producing ice at all. We called Samsung, and they agreed to pay for the ice maker to be replaced, but not the service. I want to thank you for that! You (Samsung) did not tell us that the icemaker had been having problems across the board, nor did you mention the icemakers class-action suit. If Samsung knew that the ice maker was faulty, why didnt they pay for the service call in addition to replacing the icemaker?A little while ago, the refrigerator stopped working, pools of water running out of the fridge, and would not cool. The Freezer still works, though. Full disclosure we have had this refrigerator for about 3.75 years. Samsung said they would have a repairman come out. They could not reach a Samsung qualified repair specialist. When contact was made, we were informed that they would not make a service call to our house, too busy. Samsung encouraged us to find a maintenance specialist, and if the motor or the compressor were faulty, they would cover it.We contacted a local maintenance specialist who could work on Samsung refrigerators. He informed us he could fix it but that he was not going to guarantee the work. He also stated that chances are we would have to repair it soon after. Today we were forced to buy a new refrigerator. Samsung has had significant issues with their refrigerators. ** I would not buy a fridge made by Samsung.

After 8 months, Samsung french door fridge model # RF197ACRS started making a loud noise. It defrosted the freezer twice on its own - the fridge part was warm. For some reason froze up again and started working. Now there is a continuous build up of water leaking on the bottom of fridge below the crisper drawers. From the reviews Ive read, this is a regular problem with these fridges. Thats what I get for buying made in China crap from an un-reputable company. We lose our manufacturing jobs and keep them employed by having to constantly buy products that are built for obsolescence. We keep spending and getting poorer so they stay employed and richer. We should have paid more attention to the political puppets who brought in free trade for the worlds controlling monopolistic few.

Hopefully the reader of this submission has not yet purchased a Samsung. I sure wish I had done some homework on Samsung before I went shopping. Samsung products low quality. My $500 microwave is broken. It makes a horrific noise when I try to microwave. Its not heating up and is emitting a scary electrical smell. I had an old microwave when I was in college. Paid $20 for it from someones garage sale. It lasted more than 10 years. I did a kitchen remodel and bought this fancy looking Samsung and had it mounted over my stove. Its total junk. How can a $20 microwave last 10 plus years and a $500 microwave make it only 2 years? My advice - NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM SAMSUNG. Period...

Samsung otr microwave smh9207st is very dangerous and should be recalled. It had the door replaced twice and almost every holiday while I was cooking on the stove the steam rose and if the microwave was turned on it died like it isnt sealed properly. I think it was the third time it actually caught on fire and the magnetron and numerous parts were replaced free of charge with the promise if it failed again it would be replaced with no problems. When it died again they did not replace it - they repaired it again. When it died again they admitted they had it on record it was supposed to be replaced but refused to. They would pay for the magnetron but that was it. I would be responsible for the labor and any other parts. The repair service visit for the fire the repairman had just left a place not 20 miles from me for the same microwave catching on fire. I wanted to share my experience because I believe someone might truly get hurt by this product. I will not repair this again for the fear of burning my house down. I will never buy one of their products again because I have found they do not care if it is dangerous. They should recall and discontinue making it.

These refrigerators are a nightmare and worthless. Everyone has the same complaint, yet the company wants to do nothing about it. These refrigerators should be banned from the United Sates. I have not had this refrigerator 18 months and got a repair bill estimate for nearly $600. Samsung knows they have problems with their products and they do nothing. I am done with this company, dont want anything with their name on it, or made by them. JD Powers should be sued along with them.

We reached out to Samsung after my built-in Microwave oven suddenly stopped working. Prior to contacting them, we contacted my warranty provider but after coughing up a service fee to a no-good electrician, we discovered the appliance is still covered by the manufacturer. Samsung of course promptly connected me to a company they use for repairs. Unfortunately both Samsung and the company are highly inefficient as the repair company gave me a 4-hour window for their home service visit but we never received a call from the company as stated in the confirmation email they sent us. We reached out to Samsung and they in turn told us to deal with it or get a life. We contacted OMB LLC for an update since the clock was ticking with no sign of a technician; this was just within 2 hours to the close of the scheduled window. We were told there is still time and asked to contact the electrician directly.Half an hour to the close of appointment, we contacted the fella who dismissively and without any apology said he is still outside. As if this is not an appointment. When asked what that meant, he responded; I may not make it to you until after an hour. This meant we would be home all day just for some random individual to show up late at our doorstep as he wills. We contacted Samsung again and were told it is our bone to pick with the repair company and they may choose to reschedule. Is this service? My take is if your company is overwhelmed with repair work, dont take any more than you can chew. I know of under promising and over-delivering, not the other way round. It only takes ten more of negative review before youre off the market OMB LLC. Samsung is already losing its market shares so its no news theyd throw caution to the wind when they ought to go above and beyond to redeem their already tainted image.

I bought a Samsung side by side frig 8/2013 and it started having serious problems within 9 months! The first time it went completely out was right around Labor Day & we had people coming over. I had over $1,000.00 worth of food in the fridge when the fridge section 1st froze over then quit completely. I lost everything! Now its Thanksgiving eve and when we arrived home, it was 52 in the frig! I first got out a new gallon of milk, opened it and it was spoiled, all 3 were. I hate Samsung!!!! Its the worst fridge I have EVER had! I have lost everything for tomorrow, its all turned bad now. I am horrified. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG!!!

The repair man was a tad testy with me for not having my refrigerator plugged in so that he could get the code off of the computer. Excuse me it hasnt been working for almost a month now. Im not going to leave it plugged in. Eventually, he managed to troubleshoot the problem. He wanted to change the evaporator fans but I wouldnt agree to that since my husband had already tested those and they were working properly. Im knocking on wood and hoping for the best the fridge is working now with no problems. I can only hope I get a very least another 3 years out of it. Im and saving my money now for its replacement. I saved for over a year to be able to purchase what I thought was a top of the line refrigerator. When Lowes had this 4 door refrigerator on sale, I jumped at the chance to purchase. The first day the refrigerator was plugged in, the digital board on the ice maker would not work. My son finally got it to work after we unplugged the unit and plugged it back in. About a month later, the same thing happened. I called technical support and they helped me to get the unit going again. Tonight when I got home from work, the ice machine would not work. I call support again and spoke to a gentleman that could not be understood. When I figured out that he could not help, I asked to speak to someone else. I got to speak to the woman from hell. Even though I told her that my refrigerator was new and that I had taken the extended service agreement, she informed me that I would have to pay someone to repair my refrigerator because I needed to be educated on how to use it. Well, I do know that I should not have to unplug my new refrigerator 3 times in 3 months to keep the digital panel from freezing up. Lowes told me not to call the technical support number again but to call them directly because I could not count on Samsung to help me with my problem. I wish I had read the negative reviews before spending over $2000 on a unit that does not work.

In mid-2015 I replaced my refrigerator with the Samsung French Door/Freezer
In mid-2015 I replaced my refrigerator with the Samsung French Door/Freezer at the bottom (Model #: RF261BEAEWW/AA-0001). Two weeks ago, we noticed the icemaker abruptly stopped working. Shortly thereafter, water accumulated under the refrigerator crisper and seeped from under the right side. Not really understanding what was going on, I just cleaned it every two to three days. Now as of three days ago, I began hearing a humming/grinding noise coming from the upper rear center on the inside of the fridge. It sounded like the fan was hitting something as its spinning. It only does it when the doors are closed and you can hear it winding down when you open the door. When you close the doors, it winds up to full speed again and the loud irritating sound returns. Now, since the icemaker stopped I turned it off yet the noise is still active. While doing an inspection, I found a build up of ice in the back of the fridge.Turning to the internet for Diagnostics and DYI Repair advice, I have come across countless of sites with hundreds of complaints warning people Samsung will not recognize their horrible flaw(s) within their product. Samsung Service Centers have you open a ticket but then tell you they apparently cant fix the issue(s). Like many here, I dont have money to freely give a technician who will in turn place a Band-Aid on the problem; only for the refrigerator to disintegrate it and I succumb to the same issues month(s) later. They built the fridge and therefore they should have the ability to successfully repair it! Samsung shouldve just stuck with manufacturing electronics. I believed in their products until now. I, for one, will not be buying any of their major appliances anymore. Since they refuse to issue a recall notice on their clearly defected product I would like more information as to where and how to add my name to the lawsuit against them.

I purchased my Samsung French door refrigerator, model RF26HF, December of 2014. From the start the fridge was louder than my old one. Shortly after that the ice machine was producing ice at a very slow rate and is currently making ice when it wants too. We have also encountered a flap misalignment on one of the French doors. Currently, August 20, 2016, I found a pool of water at the base of my fridge, underneath the food storage bins. When I removed the storage bins I discovered a thick piece of ice the width of the base of the fridge. I also saw water dripping from the twin cooling back panel as well as coming out from the base of the door. As figured I was over my one year warranty and Samsung needed to charge me to look at the problem.Samsung did try to blame it on a filter issue and then a humidity issue, which is neither the problem. Samsung left me with no resolution and stated a technician needed to be called in to determine the exact issue. I was not given a price because that couldnt be determined until a ticket was created. After hearing this ridiculous news, I have had enough with Samsung. After reading many many poor and similar issues with this specific refrigerator Samsung needs to acknowledge a true manufacturing problem thats affecting many families. At this point with everyone having the same issue there should be a recall in place. I will never buy a Samsung product ever again!

When it became obvious that it the pan itself was rusting, I called Samsung Customer Service and explained the situation. After explaining the situation, the CSR left the line for a few minutes. When she returned she suggested I buy Bartenders Friend to clean up the mess. When I asked how I could prevent the rust from returning, she seemed confused, said she had solved my problem and hung up.I emailed Samsung CS with the complaint stating that a 30-month enamel job shouldnt fail and how could I prevent the rust from occurring again. I received a reply that read like the authors masters thesis that thoroughly explained the chemical action that occurs between water and iron. I went to Lowes in Palmdale, CA with my problem. The salesman was no help; the department manager told me that Samsung didnt make that model anymore and maybe that was why. And that he couldnt help me. Ask me if Ill buy anything from Samsung again. I purchased a Samsung Refrigerator (RF25HME) back in December 2017, and on October 3, 2019 the ice maker stopped working. Did my research and found out that many consumers are complaining about the same issue. For an undetermined reason, the ice maker fills with frost, which turns into blocks of ice, not allowing the ice to be made, and locks up the auger.Spent part of my weekend defrosting the ice maker. I have not had to defrost a freezer or refrigerator since I was a child (50 years ago). I have had other refrigerators with ice makers (Amana, GE) and never had this issue. I purchased a Samsung Dishwasher (Model #DW80H9930US) from Tasco, on the advice of Tascos salesman. It was installed in November 2014. I had also purchased a 5 year warranty. By June 2015 my dishwasher was no longer working. I went into Tasco who told me I had to contact my warranty provider, who in turn advised that Samsung held the initial warranty for the first year. I contacted Samsung at the beginning of July and was told a technician would call. I never received a call. Two weeks later I contacted them again and as everyone has previously mentioned, the wait times are approximately 30 minutes to speak with someone at the first level customer service. A woman finally booked a date to have a technician come out. I waited all day and got a call from someone to then set up another date that was approximately 3 weeks later. The technician came to my home and I advised him that the soap dispenser was not opening. He attached his computer to my dishwasher and told me the waterfall technology was not working and my motor was defective, which in turn was why the soap was not opening. He advised they would be ordering a new motor and I would get a call within 2 weeks to set up another appt. He also told me off the record this dishwasher consistently breaks down and is not a good buy. I had to remove my baseboard for that visit noting the dishwasher is built in. He never left the name of his company or anything with me. 3 weeks later I still had not heard from anyone. I contacted Samsung again to speak with someone and they told me they would be in touch. I called again 3 days later and after 30 min and going through the story each time -- got disconnected. In August I finally called and was put through to the Executive department because I was told I could not speak to management. I spoke with a Brian representative ** who was extremely rude and just flat out told me that they would not even consider replacing the unit, even noting the issues wrong with it so early on and the reviews I had read. He gave me an email address sdr.seca@samsung.com to send through a complaint as there never seems to be a manager consumers can speak with. I sent an email with my issues on August 12 and then a follow up on August 18th, 2015, and have never received a response from Samsung. I called 2 more times and was still unable to get a technician or call back. In October I went back to Tasco for help and was told I should have contacted them for service. I contacted Tasco who then in turn left me hanging until the end of November. On Thursday, November 26, I received a call from a Peter ** at Samsung and was told the delay of 6 months was because I did not call the technician back to let him know the baseboard had been removed. That the dishwasher was not properly diagnosed and they dont even know what is wrong with it. He was reading very different information than anyone else I had spoken to and basically told me I was lying that it was the motor. He was so rude, condescending, and when I asked for his managers phone number, he gave me a wrong number. At this point I have a dishwasher that has not worked for 5 months and cannot get Samsung to help me at all. At this time, I would like the dishwasher replaced and it is now out of warranty. At this time I do plan to take Samsung and Tasco to small claims court if I have to, noting I have a dishwasher that does not work and now its out of the manufacturers warranty. I will never purchase or recommend a Samsung appliance to anyone and will deter anyone from them. I would not want anyone to have to endure the stress and frustration I have had to deal with and still have not had the problem rectified. So disappointing.

The refrigerators ice maker stopped working after 7 months.... cost $450 to replace. Samsung only guarantees the ice maker for 5-6 months. Only Samsung repair people can fix your appliances because no one else can get the necessary parts, so the repair charge is double that of other appliance repair businesses. The dishwasher cleans horribly and leaves grit in EVERY glass/cup. I will never buy a Samsung appliance again! It is outrageous to have to do such an expensive repair on a relatively new stove. I might add that the stove is lightly used in a household of two adults.

Purchased an appliance package from hhgregg consisting of stove, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. Five months into ownership starting having issues with ice maker on refridge. A&E Factory service responded five times over a year period. Finally confirmed that the refridge was not repairable due to a manufacturer defect in the freezer door frame which was warped and could not seal properly. Spent several months dealing with hhgregg and Samsung Warranty. Samsung finally bought back the refridge at a pro-rated amount. Plus I had to wait five weeks to receive a check from them and do without a fridge because they demanded I cut the electrical cord on the defective one before they would buy it back. Then hhgregg refused to give me a refund on the five year extended warranty for the fridge which I no longer had. Samsung and hhgregg do not stand behind their products or warranties. Now for the last two months the Samsung dishwasher is not trying properly and the delicate light starts flashing at the end of the cycle. Scared to call Samsung and report it. Will never buy Samsung or deal with hhgregg again.

What happened to those stove and ovens we had for 8-10 years before they showed any distress?!! The numbers and info on the stove wiped off years ago, and now we GUESS what burner we are using and at what temp. Worst brand ever! Worst stove set we ever bought! Wish we did our homework and seen these bad reviews first.

Samsung dishwasher model dw80h993. This dishwasher is a piece of junk, I have had technician out twice and now I still have problems with the drain and now its out of warranty, bought in Dec. 2014 and the hose is not kinked. I would not recommend anyone purchasing a Samsung dishwasher. I think if a manufacturer claims they have a reliable dishwasher or anything they should back it up with at least a two year warranty. Dissatisfied with Samsung. Will not purchase anything in the future.

I bought a new Samsung fridge 5 years ago. The first day I had it, it would not cool. I called the store and they came the very next day and sent me a brand new in the box. It worked for awhile. However, the freezer never seemed to cool cold enough to freeze ice cream as well as pools of water under my cheese drawer in the fridge section. After many service calls and many repairs I just learned to deal with the issue. On year 5 my fridge completely died. I am extremely disappointed with my fridge and will never buy from Samsung again.

I bought a SAMSUNG Stainless Steel, French Doors, Bottom pull out freezer almost 2 yrs. ago. I wanted this Refrigerator for a long time so being a mother of 6 and wife, I felt it was what I needed. I first noticed I was getting water in the Vegetable Tray. All my Vegetables were floating, so I dumped the water out and threw away my vegetables, 2 days later same thing. I called told the company I bought it from. They said they would send someone out to fix it. The Repair guy comes takes a cap off and say they are having problems with all of these Refrigerators. Anyway, to make a long story short it didnt work. I started getting water in both trays, wasnt able to use either tray. I call our local Sears to get someone else to work on the refrigerator and guess what I was told we work on every kind of refrigerator itself for SAMSUNG. So now my refrigerator is out for repairs with the company I bought it from and thats been about a month now. Model# RF217ACRS

My Samsung French Door Refrigerator, model # RF32FMQDBSR/AA quit cooling after 12.5 months of use. It took two months and two visits from the technician to determine that the problem was with the sealed refrigeration system. The first trip the technician replace a circuit board and left immediately. This did not fix the problem. Communication with the Samsung provided service technician was very poor. At first the technician has excuses for not coming back then he just did not respond to calls. I called Samsung and requested another service company. They referred me back to the same guy. After each call I was would be called within 24 to 48 hours. Never happened. He did eventually come back (it has now been two months) and changed the temperature sensor. This did not fix the problem. He said the problem was in the sealed refrigeration system and could not be repaired. So I Called Samsung to ask how this would be handled. The sealed refrigeration system has a five year warranty. First, I was told that they would exchange the unit and would be contacted within 24 to 48 hours. Nothing! So I called back and they said they wanted a second opinion from a second technician and would be contacted within 24 to 48 hours. Again no response. So I called again and They had referred me back to the same company as before. When I told them that this is the same company as before they said they would look for another company and would be contacted within 24 to 48 hours. Again I had to call them to get a status. They said that they did not have a second company in the area to get the second opinion; therefore, they could not exchange the unit, and that I would be getting a refund instead. Every time I call it just gets worse. They say I will only get a partial refund. So I asked if the unit has a five year warranty on the sealed system how come I cannot get an exchange or get it repaired. Samsung customer executive care said the warranty is not valid because there is no service available in my area to fix the sealed system. You think they would replace it. Nope! It has now been over three months and I am waiting on the emails with the instructions on how I am to proceed.

We purchased our Samsung rs261mds refrigerator a few years ago. Since then the cooling fan has gone out several times, and I have to defrost the freezer to keep it working. The 3rd time samsung sent someone out, I was not told what was wrong, then I was told that samsung was not paying for the repair after it was completed (They had extended my warranty once because of the fan going out a 2nd time) and that if I did not pay my bill I would be blackballed and no one would ever fix my fridge. Then if that wasnt enough, the repairman came to my house the next day and told my son he left steamer at my house. When my son went to look the repairman walked in and began going through my cabinets. At that point my son made him leave. I called samsung and spoke to someone in their executive resolutions department who apologized. Said they would be paying for the repair and that a supervisor from the repair place would call to make an appointment to come out to thoroughly my fridge. When my fridge stopped working 1 month later, I was told they would send someone out at my expense! Now my fridge has stopped working. I lost all my food. I am disabled and not working and my husband lost his job 4 months ago. Thanks to samsung and their crappy products and service, we will be keeping things cold in coolers until we can buy ANY brand of refrigerator other than samsung!

I, too, am in possession of a Samsung refrigerator with a corroding door. The fridge is 3+ years old and the area below the ice maker is corroding. The refrigerator is black and the spot where it is starting to corrode is very noticeable and is embarrassing to say the least. Obviously it was a really bad design and the door should be replaced. The warranty does not cover the cosmetic issue but I feel this is a workmanship issue that should be covered and is a product that is deficient and Samsung should provide new doors. I have called Samsung twice who told me that I should call the retailer who I purchased the extended warranty from and the retailer told me to call the manufacturer. I will not make another purchase of any Samsung product and will not use the retailer any longer.

I bought the refrigerator from Lowes 5/5/09. Lowes delivered six units before finding one with properly spaced doors. The first indication that I might have purchased a defective product became evident when the ice maker malfunctioned. There was a weekly ice jam inside the compartment. If it wasnt cleared, the ice was no longer dispensed. When kept empty the ice maker worked, dumping ice into the door with sound that could only be likened to that heard at a bowling alley. It would cause me to jump out of bed during the night.Soon after the jams appeared, I began to find pieces of white plastic in drinks when the ice dispenser was used. Over a year ago I began to see rust coming through the finish around the water/ice dispenser. I notified Samsung early on when the ice maker was jamming up and was told I needed to schedule an appointment for service. Well, forget that! There is no one who services Samsung where I live. Yes, there is a dealer in a nearby town, but they refused to service what they didnt sell!I was fed up with this unsightly appliance and decided to post my problem on Samsung Appliance USA Facebook page. I received the typical Samsung condescending response, You need to schedule a service call. Read my lips Samsung, there is no service. Ill get rid of this one and try another. I dont recommend buying anything from Samsung just because of the attitude regarding SERVICE! They will not stand behind their product. No, this isnt my first time experiencing a problem with Samsung!

This is the first and last time that I will write a review for a Samsung product, because I will never be purchasing one again. Until my last experience with Samsung, I believed that they were a good company with solid products. As a consumer, I expect my product to work as designed and for that manufacturer to stand behind whatever warranty may accompany that product; pretty simple. I have never actually taken the time to write anything like this and post it on the internet, but here is my story and I truly hope that it dissuades anyone from purchasing a Samsung product under the false assumption that you have the backing of the manufacturer if anything should go wrong with your product.I purchased my dishwasher (Model # DW80F600UTS) in mid April of 2014 from Lowes. I paid around $500 and for the money, it did the job. In February of 2015, less than a year after I purchased the unit, it started having problems. Like you might read on countless other reviews and forms, the smart auto and heavy lights would start flashing 10 minutes into the cycle, the dishwasher would drain, and the dishwasher would not clean the dishes. Upon investigating the issue, I discovered that this is an indication that there is a problem with the float switch. Again, simple problem, but with the number of issues related to this one topic, it is very clear that there is a defect in the dishwashers design. Here is a complete list of the calls I made to Samsung and the numerous challenges I encountered:February 18, 2014 - Called and described the problem. Samsung contacted an appliance service company (So Cal Tech, Inc.) in my area to address the issue. February 20, 2014 - Service center calls me to set an appointment to fix the issue once they receive 2 parts, the float switch and main board. Parts will be in in 2 days and we will be there to fix the dishwasher. February 26, 2014 - I call the service center because they have not called to set an appointment. The parts arent in yet, we will call when they arrive. March 2, 2014 - Service center calls and sets the appointment to come fix my dishwasher. March 5, 2014 - Repairman arrives. Extremely rude to my wife. Curses his company as he tells her that they only sent him 1 part he needs. Repairman leaves, dishwasher not functioning. I call the service center... We will have the part in in 2 days.March 9, 2014 - I call the service center because they have not called to set an appointment. The part isnt in yet, we will call when they arrive. March 16, 2014 - Part arrives, repair scheduled. March 19, 2014 - Repairman arrives, installs the main board. Dishwasher appears to run ok, but after the repair man leaves, it does the same thing. I call Samsung and I am told they need to fix the float switch again. I tell them that I am not going to accept that, so I am transferred to their executive customer service team. I explain the issue and they put it in review to have the unit replaced. I am promised that they will call back within 48 hours.March 26, 2014 - Instead of a call back from Samsung, I get another repair center. This time they tell me that I am going to be charged for the service. I say absolutely not, and that I will call Samsung. Again, I am transferred to the executive customer service team, who states they dont know why I wasnt called back and they couldnt find a note on the review in their system. Again, I am told that they are going to review the case for replacement and that I will hear back in 48 hours.April 2, 2014 - Samsung never calls back. I call again. Transferred to the executive customer service team. This time, I tell the nice lady on the other end of the phone that I am not going to accept a call back and that I wanted to speak to someone that could resolve this issue immediately. She talks over me for a minute, reciting the process that I have to follow, after which, she hangs up on me. I call back, enraged, transferred to the executive customer service team. Find out that the lady that just hung up on me has closed my pending issue ticket. I explain what I have been through, I am promised a call back from the supervisor of the executive customer service team.April 9, 2014 - Guess what, Samsung never called back. I call, get transferred to the executive customer service team and like an idiot, I allow them to do ANOTHER review. I ask the representative to take notes on the entire story. At the end, I ask what he has written down (there were several times I was on hold for him to put the notes in the system) and he hasnt recorded a single note. We go through it again, he reads it back to me. And I am PROMISED a call back in 48 hours.April 15, 2014 - Getting sick of this yet? I am. No call back from Samsung. What they did do, is have another service center call me and offer to come fix the dishwasher. Just as I am about the explode, they also inform me that I am out of warranty and that I will be charged if they come to fix it. April 22, 2014 - Now Im here. 20 hours on the phone with Samsung over a $500 dishwasher and all I ever wanted them was to stand behind their product. Thanks Samsung. Dishwasher is still not working and I am done spending my time on trying to get Samsung to do anything about it. If you read this and still buy an appliance from them, then I hope you spend a couple hundred extra bucks on an extended warranty... youre going to need it.

I cant remember how many times we have had the repairman out for this worthless machine. For a variety of problems including broken clips which found their way into the motor area and water intake problems. One of the wheels on the bottom rack frequently comes off. Yesterday, the machine stopped working again, this time with no error message. It starts by draining (okay), then starts water inflow (okay) and then does nothing as the clock counts down. I now agree with my husband that it is not worth fixing AGAIN and time to buy a decent dishwasher. I will never purchase another Samsung appliance ... ever. I have purchased a Samsung refrigerator and freezer (twin type). It started creating problems and was not working properly, just after installing. The problems were: 1) The hand hold could not be fixed on the door of the refrigerator; 2) The water freezing unit does not operate properly. So, I called Sum Service Company, which is the representative of Samsung in Iran, but no one was responsible for the problems! Once again, I had called the Sum service more than 50 times. After one month, Sum Service Company replaced our refrigerator with a new one. But the new one has the same problem - the water freezing unit still does not operate. I tried asking other consumers and I learned that the water freezing unit basically has this problem. Although Samsung has a worldwide reputation, I regret buying this type of Samsung refrigerator. In the last two months, this issue affected me both mentally and financially. I request you to advise the Sum Service Company about my problem as soon as possible. I have a 5 year old Samsung French door refrigerator. The refrigerator compartment is cooled by what they call a cooling tower. This is a very poor design. It frosts up behind the panel and the fan stops working and the fridge wont cool. I defrosted mine but it didnt help. Service replaced the cooling tower and within 45 days I was having same problem. After some very poor local service they are going to replace the cooling tower again. The replacement part is noisy and fridge temp bounces between 42 and 50 while set at 34. I wont buy another Samsung fridge. A fridge should last at least 10 years. I had to replace a $200 board for the freezer after 2 years. After paying 3 $90 service fees, $116 for tower and $32 for drain kit I have spent over $600 total in repairs for this fridge in 5 years.

Purchased washer (Model dw80f600uts) as part of a new kitchen package in May of 2014. From the beginning the unit never cleaned the dishes well, always left food particles caked on to the dishes. After a few weeks it also started to smell. About 2 months after installation started to have problems with soap not dissolving. After a lengthy complaint to Leons I was able to get a technician. He put in a new soap dispenser and advised me to run the hot water before running the dishwasher. This seemed to help, but the dishwasher still did a poor job cleaning.Fast forward 7 months and now the unit stops mid-cycle and fails to finish (apparently the water temperature might be too hot now, ironic!). I have called Samsung and begun the process of getting a technician to come to my house to fix it. Of course, this will only prolong the inevitable; this is a terrible dishwasher and I will have to replace it once the warranty is up in May 2015, since there is no way I am putting any more money into this machine. I would put Samsungs customer service in the same category as their dishwasher. Im pretty sure their main goal is to delay you long enough until the warranty has expired. Their solutions to problems are also a treat. Originally I was told to check the water pressure of my house, and if necessary, have it adjusted so that the dishwasher would run better. Not really sure how one goes about checking water pressure, much less adjusting it.

Bought a Samsung electric range (NE595R0ABSR) a little over 3 yrs ago and last week the circuit board caught on fire. Called Samsung about it and they told me that they would take care of the parts required, and all I had to do was pay for the installation from the contracted service repair. Now the third party service repair company told me that I had to pay for the parts and not the repair. The cost of parts a little over $430.00. Might as well buy a new stove and it will certainly not be a Samsung. Hopefully a class action lawsuit will come out against Samsung for their highly dangerous stove. I seen on a Canadian website that a few of them had the exact same problem. I will ensure that all Airmen under my command know what horrible customer service Samsung has and how dangerous their products are. I do not want any of them to have to worry about problems from their appliances when they are deployed.

I purchased the most expensive dishwasher at the store, it was a Samsung DW990044dBA. Over a $1000.00. I bought the best hoping for good results and little hassle. The appliance worked for 4 days only. There was over 4 service calls in 2 months, and lots of correspondence with Samsung, and my dishwasher hasnt worked for much of the two months waiting on service repair times. There were several issues with the top rack sticking, leaking through the door, and breaking down. My countertop has been damaged from steam leaking through the door, my floor has been damaged from leaking on the floor. Samsung wont compensate me at this time and have denied my request for a new dishwasher. Samsung is complicated and confusing to deal with as their departments dont talk or share files. A person needs to be good with a computer, and verbally strong to deal with this company as they require lots of communication, pictures, calls, time and patience. Plastic detergent door doesnt always open. I cannot put any dishes close at all. My other dishwasher (in the old home rental) still works great. I wish I still had it. I have tried several different ways to get better cleaning from the dishwasher. I should not have to baby this machine to clean my dishes. I have an OE error now. I purchased it at Lowes and extended warranty. I called on 02/03/13 and cannot look for service until 02/13/2013. Very inconvenient. I actually have shopped for a new one. Called again they finally agreed to send someone out to look at it. Need a new door flap ($80) and when I described the ice problem the tech says oh yeah, I have fixed lots of those. Samsung knows about the problem. It costs $200 in parts. What?? I called to argue that they should pay for the parts. Getting the runaround and not getting anywhere. Worst $2000 ever spent! Never again will I buy a Samsung product.

I was so excited to purchase this item for my new kitchen remodel last year
I was so excited to purchase this item for my new kitchen remodel last year. I made the purchase in March 2015, believe it was delivered in June 2015. The stove was installed in July 2015 and began use in August 2015. I am out of warranty. The first time I used the self-clean mode, the control panel died and the oven remained locked. I contacted Samsung, who arranged out of warranty service. The stove broke on Friday, service was today (Wednesday). After the technician detached the oven from my grout and backsplash, he determined the thermostat went bad. I paid my $79 service fee and he is ordering the part.Technician is concerned as to what caused the thermostat, saying ideally hed replace the control board, the fan, and the sensor so that he doesnt end up back. I contacted Samsung, very upset with this clear defect. I get the Sorry you are dissatisfied, but you are out of warranty. 15 years I had a Kenmore... never had a problem... ready to go back! DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG PRODUCT, CLEARLY NOT CONSUMER FRIENDLY!!

Samsung 3 door model RFG298AARS 29 cubic feet advertised capacity - Purchas
Samsung 3 door model RFG298AARS 29 cubic feet advertised capacity - Purchased Feb 2, 2010. Works fine even the ice makers one on top and one in freezer drawer. Last year after 4 years the plastic on the door shelves, track, and mounting frame for the drawers began to crack and break. So far I have replaced 2 door shelves, the flip up section of the meat drawer, the frame with the glass top for the drawers and the frame bracket due to cracking and breaking to the extent that is not functional. These replacement parts have cost almost $300 so far. The 29 cubic foot capacity is measured wall to wall and does not take into account that the shelves do not go to the walls on sides or back greatly reducing the capacity of the refrigerator. I also find it difficult to clean with all the nooks and crannies. Spills work into the frame of every drawer or shelf and cannot be cleaned because that part does not come apart. I expect a refrigerator of this caliber to last nearly a lifetime. That does not appear to be the case here.
