We redid our kitchen at the beginning of last year and installed a Samsung microwave, model ME18H704SFS. After 8 months, the overhead light started coming on by itself. Not the high, but the low. I am not the first homeowner to complain about this very problem. It would seem this microwave has well-known issues and Samsung has not recalled the product. I guess Samsung can stand to have poor public relations. I will never purchase another Samsung product. Glenn **Belmont MA

This has got to be the worse oven range I have ever had. It doesnt heat to the right temperature. Called service in and they replaced the circuit board to the stove and it still doesnt heat to the right temperature. The service guy says, Well, thats all we can do. So I guess I out of luck. Not much use in calling Samsung because they just give you the runaround. NEVER going to buy another Samsung product in my life, EVER the worse. Dont buy their products.

I had this appliance less than a year and the ice maker started freezing up. Repaired twice and continues to freeze up. Finally the repairman said it was a production fault and there was no repair. This refrigerator was very expensive item for such poor service.

Spent $7000 on all new appliances 6 years ago. Microwave went out 2nd yr. Dishwasher went out 3rd year, refrigerator on 5th year, now front load washer on 6th year. Will never buy another Samsung product. We are 68 years old, no kids so you know we hardly use products. Shame on their junk, nothing covered by warranties.

Samsung Microwave Model #SMH2117S, Serial # J65B7WOD602622A - I dont have an Order Number or Receipt because this was a gift. This over the stove model was purchased on 2014, a Mothers Day Gift from my kids to me. I am retired and on a budget so they surprised me with the stove and microwave. I was able to select the items in the store, Conns, and I decided to go with Samsung, believing it would be the best buy. Well, I was wrong. Samsung microwave went dead on me last week, June 2016. I woke up at 5am to crackling sounds looming out in the quiet of the morning. I had heard the sound before but not as loud as this time. I stood around the kitchen dining area where I had followed the sound and waiting to hear it and again I heard the crackle and then it stopped. I was unsure and couldnt pinpoint it, so I went back to bed.The next day I discovered my microwave was dead, all lights off. I could smell a burnt odor as I opened the door. Came to realize that was the crackling sound. I thank God that it didnt start a fire. I contacted Samsung and of course, the microwave is out of warranty and after much of almost begging on my part, they offered to pay for the parts. The service is $80 for trip and diagnosis and $80 for labor, so Im stuck. A brand new microwave and still have to pay out of pocket for a defective appliance that now Im not sure if I can trust to run even after a repair if it can be repaired. What a disappointment. The microwave I had before was almost 18 years old and was still working properly. I just wanted new appliances. I wish Samsung would stand behind their product and make it right. There are too many dissatisfied customers.

We purchased our Samsung dishwasher in late 2014. It needed repair within three months when water was not pumping out of the bottom of the unit. The repairman said that it was a common problem... so common that he usually had several of the replacement parts on his truck. This time he didnt so it took two trips so there was a total of almost two weeks without the machine. Since then the dishwasher has been very noisy and I should probably call the repairman again but I figure something else will go wrong sooner or later. We did purchase a Lowes extended warranty. I find that the machine is hard to load. Perhaps I should have taken one of my plates to the store to try it out. It cleans ok... not remarkable but no major complaints especially if I wash things well before I put them in. I am sorry that I bought this item.

Ive noticed other reviews explaining the same problem. We brought this fridge less than 2 years ago brand new. We did not expect any problems this early on as we have always purchased a french door fridge because of its large capacity. We have a large family and would have to frequent the grocery store all the time if we bought anything smaller. I am sorry I bought this brand and will not buy it again. We noticed pooling of water just outside the freezer and have been mopping it up every morning. We did not know what is causing this problem-where the water inside freezer is coming from and have defrosted the fridge twice now. -which is extremely inconvenient as we cannot use our fridge during that time. We have turned off the ice maker to see if this was the problem but it is not. This fridge is a lemon. Do not buy. So far it does not seem that anyone who has tried to solve this problem has been successful. I am really tired of cleaning up water everyday and will need to save for a new fridge. It appears that ice is forming on the freezer bottom and then melting and spilling out of the freezer overnight and during the day. We recently removed the bottom drawer which over time turned into a bucket of ice. We defrosted the fridge and cleaned it and are now trying to locate what is causing the ice to form on the freezer bottom (which then melts over time and forms water at the bottom of the fridge).

The sealed system went out in less than 5 years! The fan went out in less than 5 years! The covers need replacing less than 5 years! We have had technician after technician try to fix this thing to no avail! We called Samsung and got nothing! Three people from Samsung told us, You should be happy that you got almost 5 years out of it. Are you kidding me?! In case you havent noticed, Im pissed! Our old Kenmore lasted over 20 years!

Fridge purchased less than 2 years ago is not cooling. We have the problem for two weeks already. The food gets bad. The upper part of the fridge does not cool. We call Samsung several times. First, a representative was trying to repair it while on the phone. One of those, Mr. **, with very bad attitude. So, we turn off the circuit breaker for 30 seconds, then again for a minute but nothing. After another call, Samsung gave me a repair case number and said someone will call me. Waiting a few days, no one called but Cristina ** sent an email 3 days later to tell me I have to call to schedule the repair. Her office was closed at the time I read it, so I called the next day and left 4 messages. It seems she called in the afternoon and talked to my son who has a disability. My son didnt know much about what was going on, so Cristina decided to cancelled the ticket. I called her the next day to ask her why it was cancelled after I left so many messages but she didnt care, and told me to call Samsung to get another repair case number. This means to wait again a few more days. Now Cristina refuses to do the repair saying that I was rude, yes I was very upset, and Samsung does not have any other company to do the repair. So, Samsung wont do anything even though this fridge is still under warranty.

Ive owned the Samsung Fridge for 28 months and noticed that items in the freezer were thawing out. Called Samsung was given their authorized repair shop. 3 business day wait (Do they have a lot of work?). The coolant chemical Freon was leaking. I tell Samsung this is not normal and they say Well its past warranty so you are on your own. Over $1,000 to repair to the fridge is basically worthless. No sense repairing the existing piece of garbage so I will buy a new one. NEVER NEVER NEVER buy a Samsung. Quality is poor and they will NOT back you up when this problem occurs.

We purchased 6 Samsung appliances for two new units before Christmas of 2015 and took delivery in the beginning of February 2016. It is a brand new house, brand new appliances. When we peel the protective film off the door, a dent was discovered. Call Samsung, they quoted us the 48 hour policy which stated that if there was anything wrong cosmetically with the Fridge, it must be reported within 48 hours. This policy was never communicated to us. If this policy is so important, it should have been communicated to us at time of purchase and again at the point of delivery. The fridge was delivered at the end of the day. The plumber that was to install the fridge was on holiday until a week later, we did not want to peel off the protective film until the fridge is installed and move into the proper location. When the film was peeled off there was a dent on the door which was clearly a factory mishap and there is nothing they will do. Extremely frustrating and disappointing with the whole experience.

I just got off the phone with Samsung who claims they support their product because they have a 1 year warranty. Hurray for them, everyone has a 1 yr warranty. The companies that really support their products are the ones that recognize when 2 major components on an expensive refrigerator go out that they should be responsible for fixing it.We had the ice maker and the evaporator fan motor go out on our 2 1/2 yr. old refrigerator. Samsung will do nothing but send a repairman to diagnose it but not pay to fix it. All the customer service people can do is read their policy of You are outside of the 1 year warranty. Their phone message while you wait for an hour keeps saying that they pride themselves if in their customer service. They have TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE because they dont allow their management to look at a case and make a decision based on the situation. All they can do is keep telling you, You are outside of your warranty. I have dealt with much better companies that will truly support their products and fix a major issue even if it outside the warranty because they know their product should be better than that.

Stove #NX58H5600S - Purchased the range In January of 2016. Recently noticed that the oven floor had corrosion spots (rusting) as well as cracks in the enamel of the oven floor. I was quite disappointed since I mostly use the cooktop rather than the oven. It has not had a lot of use. I felt that the oven floor was defective. I contacted Samsung and was told to send pictures, so that the situation could be evaluated. I was then told to contact a service center in another state to have the oven evaluated at my cost. The service manager, after viewing the photos, (did not actually see the rust and cracking) stated that the problem was not a defect but cosmetic and physical damage. Since the stove was out of warranty, I would have to pay for the repair myself. Samsung does not stand behind their products. I would never buy one of their products again or recommend them to anyone.

I bought model RF217ACPN./XAA (freezer drawer on bottom, french door refrig on top) and it died in less than a year.... Drawers filled with water and starts making this horrible sound non-stop. Samsung has sent people here FOUR TIMES and the issue persists. After HOURS of phone calls/complaints/pleads with them to get people out to fix it, they kept saying we are now out of warranty, even though the issue has never been fixed since day one.... Finally, they sent out a tech who said it can not be fixed but I am now in limbo waiting for a replacement or buy back... They are trying to wear me down but they have picked the wrong person as I will move hell and high water for justice... We were so happy when we bought our first new fridge, and it didnt last a year and all the time and days off of work for technicians to come out and it STILL isnt fixed. Nobody has time to deal with this every few months and no one has an extra 2,000 to buy a new fridge a year after buying the 1st one. There has to be lemon laws about this and I am shocked to see how many people have the same experience. I found a class action suit everyone should look into. Even if your model is not listed, sign up... If it falls through, we should start a new one because there are too many similar stories here of people getting ripped off by Samsung! I urge you to never give up and fight for what is right... People shouldnt lose their hard earned money on a product that doesnt work!

From the day we got the Samsung refrigerator, we found small leaks on the linoleum floor. When the filter replacement light went on, I tried to replace the original filter with a Samsung filter, and the neck of the original--with its O-ring, broke off, requiring shutting off the water outside the refrigerator. While waiting for the replacement part, the entire ice cube maker iced up, spilling water out the front, onto the floor and ruining the custom wood enclosure. We are still awaiting a fix (thank heavens we purchased an extended warranty).

My husband and I purchased a new home July 2016. Kitchen had brand new appliances. We already had a repair done in Samsung dishwasher in which took over a week to get repaired. That was only after 5 uses. December 23, 2016 my refrigerator failed. Lost everything. Called the customer service at Samsung because they are brand new appliances. They should not be failing. The few people that I spoke to were not able to help get someone out. Spoke to supervisor. Got a local repair to come out that Friday to tell us what we known it was the compressor. Its a holiday weekend, company was coming and a baby in house. Samsung certainly did not see our frustrations. The guy at repair center said it will take 3 to five days for part to come in. That brings us to the middle of the week. Called repair center said it may be in Friday. I called Samsung again today 12/27/16 and told them the issue. Basically there is nothing they could do other than wait for the part even though it will be almost 2 weeks without a refrigerator that should not have failed (in warranty repair). I asked the supervisor at Samsung if they can expedite the part. She said no theres nothing they can do other than wait. Again I tried pleading my case. I have a baby in the house and other young children not to mention it is 60 out in RI today and losing everything in coolers. They did not resolve this pressing issue or the fact that I lost too and bottom of the food in refrigerator that is worth about 300 and the food I had to replace that I lost. Their customer service is just trained to patch the problem. They sound more like counselors than trying to make their product right.

My Samsung 24-inch dishwasher model DMT300RFS is less than three years old.
My Samsung 24-inch dishwasher model DMT300RFS is less than three years old. We have had problems with the dishes coming out of the dishwasher with ground-up food on them since day one. Recently we have been getting an error code for clogged drain also. I pulled the dishwasher into the middle of the kitchen floor, checked all plumbing and drain hose and found them clear. I ran the machine and found it was only discharging a small amount of water during the drain cycle. I removed the filter in the tub - clear. I removed the drain pump - clear. I checked the rubber check-valve upstream of the pump and found it cocked and stuck sideways. I freed it with my finger (it is in the molded plastic comprising the bottom of the tub). I reassembled the unit and operated it and it pumped like a banshee during the drain cycle. After running the machine a couple of times it started pumping only a trickle again. The check valve had become cocked and stuck again. What is happening is the check valve sticks open and when it hits the drain cycle, the drain pump pumps dirty water back into the dishwasher and only a trickle gets pumped to the sink drain. Dirty water stays in the tub and debris gets deposited back on the dishes during the rinse cycle. Because it takes so long to drain the tub, the machine thinks the drain is plugged and shuts down with a clogged drain issue. The part with the check valve in it is very expensive and (for me) would require a service technician to replace it, adding to the cost. To me, I will be better off replacing the unit. There are review after review on the internet complaining of these same problems (dirty dishes and error codes). It is my opinion that this problem is a design error as it is not possible to provide maintenance to the check valve. It is deep in the large plastic piece comprising the bottom of the tub.I hope this post helps others understand what is wrong with their machine.

Bought a Samsung dishwasher from Best Buy and had installed late Jan 2014. Once installed had service come out to the house FOUR (4) times to repair. Would just stop working. It never cleaned that well. Glasses always came out dirty. So here we are AGAIN, the dishwasher has stopped working but because we are now over a year they say our warranty is out and refuse to fix it. If you buy a brand new product and within the first year need service 4 times, dont you think there is an issue? And its convenient that the last time they came out they said if we needed service again they would just replace it... Its pathetic Samsung does not stand behind their products. But I guess they really dont want to because its crap. And in my opinion, my warranty shouldve started over every time they had to come out and repair it.

Repaired ice maker 3 times and now it just gave up, spewing metal parts into the ice tray. The attached photo shows what you can expect to find in your ice. Samsungs Indian Service Dept. just says were so sorry, please upload photos and we will contact you. 4 weeks in, no response despite many phone calls. Do not waste your time calling Samsung service. I bought a Samsung Rs2530 Bbp refrigerator from Best Buy in October 2008. It made a lot of ice at first, and we never ran out. In less than a year, it stopped cooling and decreased ice output. I set up a service call, and they replaced something inside behind the icemaker. They told me I needed to have less stuff in the freezer for it to work right. They extended my warranty to three months, and said the icemaker would work. On Christmas Eve, it quit cooling completely; they couldn’t get anyone out until after New Year’s Day. That ruined all my food and our holiday. They then said I cancelled the service call the day I took off to meet with them, and that I had to reschedule. That meant two vacation days off work. They got it running, but it still didnt make much ice. Then the warranty was over. Back in June, the power went out and it quit cooling again. I had one light flashing on the front. I found Jonathan ** of ARC who said he could work on Samsung appliances, and could come the same day--unlike the people Samsung wanted me to use. However, a few hours later the refrigerator just started working, so I told Jonathan I would get him to fix the icemaker in a few weeks. The power went out again last Wednesday; it stopped cooling, and I got the same flashing light. I tried to research the problem online. I found out that either the unit could be reset (didnt work), or it could resolve itself (didnt happen the first day like last time). Also, it could either need a control board (found for $60-$70 dollars), or depending on which light was flashing it could indicate a faulty sensor. Since I didnt know which, I had to call Jonathan. I told him I needed to know what part to replace. He came in asking questions like he hadnt spoken to me like, “So what is this flashing light for?”, “It just isnt freezing?”, “Looks like its working...the lights come on when I opened it.” and “Let me check the compressor.” After digging in it for a little longer, he asked me about the flashing light AGAIN, and said it was the control board. He could fix it for $450.20! He said the spare part was $260 and that he could get it in about three days. He would apply the $89 he was charging for the service call to the bill, or that he could get me the same refrigerator new for about $2000 or used for $1000. Really? I paid less than $900 when I bought it new. I decided to take a loss on the $89, and get the control board since he gave me the part number. Guess what? It wasnt the control board. I replaced it; I tried all the resetting and still had the same problem. I left it in a few hours to see if it would start working. Nope. I took it back out hoping the parts store would take it back. They wouldnt. I stopped payment on Jonathans $89 check, since I was now out of $72 more because of his wrong information, and the food decaying in my refrigerator and freezer. He not only tried to overcharge me for 5 minutes of work, he also misdiagnosed the problem and knew less about it than I did. I decided to just get a used refrigerator over the weekend, but late Friday it just randomly started working again. Okay. I bought new food and cleaned it out. We had a thunderstorm today and lost power. You know the rest; flashing light, not cooling and no one can fix it unless it fixes itself. Samsung shouldnt make refrigerators as I see this or similar problems all over. Jonathan ** of ARC is not qualified to diagnose or make repairs, and will rip you off.

I purchased the Samsung French Door Refrigerator model RFG297HDRS in January 2014 from Home Depot for around $2,000. Since the first day the refrigerator arrived at my home it is very loud. The noise is so loud you have to leave the room. After several service calls, they replaced it with the Samsung French Door Refrigerator model RF28HFEDBSR, which was a smaller model and nowhere as nice as the other model. This model as well is loud. For over 1 year, 54 telephone phone calls, many emails, several service calls and unpaid days off; I am stuck with this refrigerator. On May 12, 2016 my Samsung side-by-side refrigerator (model RSG257AAWP) that I purchased on April 14, 2012 stopped cooling. It has been an absolute nightmare trying to work with Samsung to have someone come out to diagnose the problem. It is now May 23, 2016 and I am still calling Samsung trying to find resolution. I was assigned to a repair service (Home Service Network) on May 14th. On May 16th they informed me that they dont have any technicians that could work on my refrigerator. I called Samsung back and my ticket was reassigned to another repair service (Priceless Appliance Services). I was told that companies are to respond in 1-2 business days. I waited. Nothing! I called Samsung again. My ticket was reassigned again (Mr. Appliance of Central Maryland) and again I did not receive a call from this service repair company. When I called Samsung once more, today May 23rd, my ticket is showing that its assigned to Priceless and not even the last company that I was given so it appears that my ticket was not even reassigned. Now Im starting to think that the Samsung warranty policy is a sham. If they refer a customers ticket to enough non-responsive repair companies, at some point, especially with such an essential appliance as a refrigerator, the customer will become totally frustrated and seek to resolve the issue with a non Samsung repair service. This deems your appliance out of warranty even if you only have someone diagnose but not fix the product that you have so desperately tried to seek help for from Samsung. BE AWARE! BE CAUTIOUS! Its probably best to NEVER, EVER purchase Samsung appliances. In the future, I will only purchase appliances made in the USA.

We have had problems w/ the Samsung DW80F60OUTS dishwasher from its installation from Home Depot to its operation. Previous problems involved Samsung not installing the proper electronics in the door - it had 2 different types of the electronic programs; the door seals leaked; it did not clean the dishes. The current problem is that the water entry or draining does not perform. The Smart Auto light is flashing. The soap dispenser does not open. Dishes from the last operation are dirty. Called the local SS authorized repair company which will come out and properly repair this poor excuse for a dishwasher. If it had not cost so much I would give it to the monthly large item pick up for the dump. Purchased in July 2015; we do not like it at all. Glad we bought the extra repair service contract which takes effect after the SS warranty. Should have bought a Whirlpool or GE dishwasher.

It was 2 weeks before someone could come look at it. Samsung used a company called MetroTech. I had to pay 90.00 for an assessment and wait another 2 weeks for a part. The problem was with the seal which was covered under warranty as a defect. 2 weeks turned into 3 and the part was installed but it did not fix the problem. So Metrotech advised Samsung to replace the unit which they refused until Metrotech put in another part. Another 2 weeks of waiting and Metrotech put in the part. Upon doing so the inside panel of the fridge was damaged. Plus this did not fix the problem. The 4th time Samsung sent Metrotech out, Metrotech advised Samsung to replace the unit. A unit Exchange process was put in. When I called Samsung they told me they needed a certificate of ownership. I do not have this as it was still being paid for however, the account was in my deceased spouses name financed through Synchrony bank. HH Greg went out of business. Synchrony bank will not let me pay for the fridge because they filed a claim against the remaining balance in probate - even though I tried to pay for it. Probate will not end until sometime in May. Samsung will not replace the defective fridge without it showing the fridge is paid for. I do not know what to do? I think this is horrible and will never buy another Samsung product. EVER.

We bought our Samsung microwave model SMH8165W on Feb 23, 2011. I know this b/c I actually registered online w/ Samsung to get the extended 1 year + 3 month warranty. They have engineered their microwave to be built to last barely above a year. Let me say, it is beautifully designed and at an inexpensive price point. It was the best deal at the time. It had features that we NEVER used - like, any of the snack features. My husband still loves it.... BUT... within a year, one of the LED legs blew out in the first number. We ignored that. It wasnt big enough to bother, you could still read the number. Id already misplaced any paperwork. Now, on Feb 18, 2014 - almost 3 years to the day that we purchased our Samsung we have another interesting error. Our under microwave light that goes from On, to Night light, to Off.. it always stays ON. One of the lights blew out so we changed it thinking that maybe that was the problem. Nope, both bulbs now burn brightly. We are out of warranty. We wont be buying Samsung again. We actually need a light on at night to cook, being in a dark kitchen. So in the meantime Im buying a set of 3 stick on LED lights for $6 on Amazon. One LED light will last 1000 hours. Lets see if it outlasts the Samsung.

My new Samsung French door refrigerator (RF18HFENBSP) that I purchased from Sears in not working. It is only 4 MONTHS OLD. I called Sears and they explained that I would have to deal directly with Samsung Service. I called the 800 number and was issued a ticket number. I was told that someone would call me in 24/48 hours. That did not happened so I called myself. After being on hold for over a half hour I finally spoke to person. It will be 5 days before a technician can come and see what is wrong. That will be OVER ONE WEEK that I do not have a refrigerator. I wish Sears would have told me that they do not service the Samsung appliances. Judging from the reviews that I read (wish I read them before my purchase) I would not recommend Samsung appliances. Somebody should protect consumers from companies like Samsung.

I purchased a Samsung RF323TEDBSA three door refrigerator February 2013 and have had terrible issues with both ice makers and front door water dispenser and overall think the stainless finish is impossible to clean. The front door water dispenser always drips down the front of the refrigerator requiring constant cleaning and absolutely nothing cleans this poor quality of stainless. I have tried everything! The bottom freezer is not working at all and will not reset. The top freezer has to be defrosted monthly with a hairdryer and reset, to get any ice. Even after those bizarre behaviors, the ice is always wet, very slow to make and drop and always mixes at least 5 or so tablespoons of water in with the ice (and again drips down the front of the refrigerator). I actually bought two of the same refrigerators for two different homes and absolutely think both are just junk. What a joke... As I thought I was buying a higher end appliance! Just another comment, on the Samsung microwave I bought at the same time... Junk. I had to fixed the cracked plastic on the door hinge myself with a You Tube video and rubber band, just so the door would close so the appliance would work... After two years of use (mostly reheating food). I caution all appliance buyers to stay away from Samsung appliances, regardless of the model. Also, getting service without paying an arm and a leg is impossible.

Thankfully I bought an extended warranty on my range because the 2nd time I used the self-cleaning mode ON THE DEFAULT SETTING, the control panel melted and the oven door would not open. It took weeks to get the replacement part with Sears Outlet calling and emailing scheduled appointment times that had not been cleared by me. But never mind the repair guy that is employed by Sears told me the part had not showed up on his doorstep yet. However, during 9 different calls over several hours during a 2 month time frame, Sears told me repair guy did not follow protocol so that caused delays. Of course when I told repair guy that he said they always try to pass blame. The 3 times repair guy came to my house he refused to give me any paperwork documenting his repair. He also told me never to use the self-clean mode. What? Why is it there? THEN the oven would not heat up to temperature, actually would only get to 100 degrees less, so the process started over again with repair guys BS and blaming Sears, all sorts of ridiculous information from both sides with promises NEVER being met. He finally installed a new thermometer and it still doesnt heat to temperature so I have to program it 25 degrees higher and wait 45 minutes longer than what the alert and temperature says on the control panel. In an argument with repair guy in my kitchen over my unreasonable expectation to have purchased a functioning product he accused me of only wanting to get a new oven. Imagine the gall of me actually expecting to have purchased a functioning product by a supposedly reliable name like Samsung. I am 71 years old and am old enough to know, from experience, what good customer service is. Repair guy is a grey hair and should know that too. But he is perfectly employed by a sub-standard company selling a very inferior product. And, although promised by his wife on one call, and his daughter on another, that I would get service orders and documentation emailed to me, it has never happened. What a waste of time and money, not to mention having to play stupid passive-aggressive games with a low in standards repair person. I am now afraid of fire after reading the rest of the reviews. Im surprised that Samsung hasnt been sued and ovens have not been recalled. I mean really surprised. My oven is barely 2 years old. In any other electrical stove/oven I have ever owned I have NEVER had a problem with self-clean.

Within a few months of our 5-year warranty ending the french door style fridge started to freeze up in the back, causing the fan to stop working properly and the fridge to stop cooling. I found this news article in which they discovered that this is happening to thousands of other people, and Samsung refuses to do a recall. ** There is also a class-action law-suit regarding this matter.I contacted Samsung, and they refused to repair the fridge without me paying for the parts and labor out of my own pocket. I am appalled by them as a company and cannot believe that they would treat their customers so poorly. I will not ever purchase a Samsung product again. I also own a Samsung stove that had a faulty part that melted all the wiring in the back and, according to the technician who fixed it, could have burned my house down while we were sleeping.

We purchased the oven in 2016 with a convection feature which we initially really liked & used the convection part almost exclusively. In 2019 I saw a flash of light which I thought was flames coming from the back of the stove. I immediately turned the Oven off & the flames disappeared. Since then we had 3 issues where the convection oven got much hotter than the temperature display indicated & burned the food. We had a repairman come out who determined that the oven temperature was 27 degrees hotter than what the temperature indicator showed. He adjusted the range to lower the temperature 27 degrees to match the range indicator. All of these incidents happened with the convection feature. We stopped using it & only used the regular baking feature. Four days later, my sister was baking a meatloaf at 350 degrees. 15 minutes before it should have been done, it looked like it was already done & before she could take it out of the oven a loud explosion occurred shattering the glass baking dish into pieces. Needless to say, we do not trust this range and will never buy another Samsung appliance!

RF4287HA Refrigerator cannot be repaired - 2 1/2 years old. Loved this refrigerator until I got error code on display one day. Called for Service. Technical came and said unit could not be repaired. He called Samsung and after they spoke, he told me Samsung would call to make arrangements to exchange unit. Told they would even take the old unit back at the same time. Received call today from Samsung requesting receipt. I was then told that Samsung will only be refunding me for the purchase price prorated from the time of purchase. I agree with all other complaints. I have had this dishwasher (Samsung dishwasher DMT800) since October 2010. I have always had problems since the beginning. I had to replace plastic raisers on top rack at least 3 times and another is breaking. It does not clean dishes. I have to use heavy load just to get a little cleaner. Plastic detergent door doesnt always open. I cannot put any dishes close at all. My other dishwasher (in the old home rental) still works great. I wish I still had it. I have tried several different ways to get better cleaning from the dishwasher. I should not have to baby this machine to clean my dishes. I have an OE error now. I purchased it at Lowes and extended warranty. I called on 02/03/13 and cannot look for service until 02/13/2013. Very inconvenient. I actually have shopped for a new one. Upon removing all of the packing tape from my brand new Samsung range, the many problems were revealed. Outer panels were not attached properly (one side held together with the packing tape), behind that panel, another completely detached piece of sheet metal, and the oven light was dangling from its wires. Upon the discovery of this possible electrical hazard, I decided not to risk plugging it in. Now I have a useless range in my kitchen, a fridge full of highly perishable foods to cook, and no resolution for several days... I just have to sit with it and wait for someone for Home Depot to call me back. I assume I will have to take another day off work to await pick-up (Samsung lost my confidence, replacement is not an option). I should have learned this lesson last year when my brand new Samsung phone needed warranty work after two weeks of ownership. I now ask the questions; what is the true cost of this transaction? How much money and personal time will this cost me? Will Samsung compensate me for any of that? After all, it was their carelessness and lack of quality control that lead to this. They could redeem themselves with an appropriate offer, however, based on what Ive read about Samsung CS, its not likely. Goodbye forever Samsung... Thats one Titanic Id like to see sinking.

We bought Samsung microwave, to go along with all other Samsung appliances. We paid several hundred dollars for unit, and have been highly disappointed. Without warning, microwave stopped working entirely. We had all breakers tested to ensure the issue was in fact the microwave. Then, called Samsung Support. When we were told this wouldnt be covered by warranty *though they werent sure what the problem was, and advised we would need to schedule service. An appliance that you pay good money for, should continue working - and if it doesnt, it should be considered faulty by the manufacturer. Forgive me for not wanting to pay Samsung any more money for selling a bad product, being less than helpful, and no guarantee that even if they fix the unit, that we wont continue to have problems.Additional side notes: We used this microwave minimally, always kept it clean, and even advised Samsung Support that we just needed them to provide us a website - in order for us to refer to make the repair ourselves. Avoid the hours of wasted time if youve had your microwave over a year. And, in hopes you havent already bought a Samsung unit, read reviews of other manufacturers and the way they handle complaints, before making an investment. Had we done that, we wouldnt be shelling out hundreds of dollars for a replacement - our savings for Christmas gifts will now be covering malfunctions of something that is less than 2.5 years old. Thank you for your time.

Our brand new refrigerator broke so we called, it took them a week to come, another week to get the part, another 2 weeks to get another part. Its now been 4 1/2 weeks. I said after the first 2 1/2 weeks they should replace the fridge. Samsung... said no. I am disabled and I dont drive. My husband travels and we live in the country so we buy a lot of food and then he flies out. We had just stocked the fridge. I lost over 1000K in food the first time. I called and spoke with a guy about getting reimbursed on the food loss and he said List everything and they would jump on it. A rude lady called me back after the fridge was fixed and said Samsung only gives out 200$ as a courtesy. Why did I go through all the hassle of listing everything if they only give 200$. I forgot to mention that my medicine has to be refrigerated so we had to go get ice every day and again I dont drive. It was horrible. My poor son had to go get us food every day and that was a terrible expense because eating out is so expensive. So now for the worst part. Three weeks later the refrigerator broke again. I called this time and said I just want the money to replace. Please hurry because we cant go buy a new one until we get the money from the old one. That was 6-21-17... Its now 7- 12-15. I was told it should only take 2-3. Its been three weeks and when you load my ticket number in the website it does not give any information. When the refrigerator broke the second time... (YES IT BROKE AGAIN). I even told the ride lady that it was not running well when she called about the first 200$. She said she would have someone call me to set up repairs etc. I never got that phone call. I lost another fridge full of food. So I get one more 200$. Thats all! I just now got an update on the first 200$.That took 2 months. If it takes that long to get the money for the refrigerator it will be terrible for my family. Im not sure what to do? Every time I call everyone says that they will try and get whomever to speed up the process but so far it has been a nightmare. It has caused so much more than just a loss from a fridge. Its been a terrible domino effect. But so far I have lived with no refrigerator for 2 1/2 months... Could you do that? I have had company during this time twice. My son graduated high school and the whole family came. Something should be done and Samsung owes me something more than just replacement cost of my refrigerator. Im very upset. If you can help me please let me know.

I bought a Samsung SMH9187 microwave in November 2010 and on 9/2/12, it spontaneously beeped and showed the dreaded SE code that so many have written about. I tried to cycle it per the instructions by unplugging the unit with no result. The keypad was dead. I called Samsung service who were less than helpful. They could not find an authorized repairman anywhere nearby and I live in a major metropolitan area. After spending about 4 hours trying to find a local repair person who works on Samsung with no luck, I called Samsung again and pressed very hard for a repairmans name in my area. They finally found only one. He, fortunately, was quite helpful over the phone, but so far away that he would not do the repair. He told me that the part number is DE94-02001C and is available for about $52 at Sears Parts Direct and mentioned that anyone handy with computers could make the repair. I was about to go that route when I found these posts and tried the quick fix of holding the Stop/Clear and Start buttons together - and so far, so good. Meanwhile, I would advise anyone considering a purchase of this unit to be sure there is a Samsung repairman nearby before purchasing. The microwave is clearly not reliable based on the number of keypad failures mentioned here within the first 15-36 months. Planned obsolescence and poor service to boot.

Called in another repair man for the same problem and he said this is happening a lot. He put on three new parts. Washer worked for five days. Woke up one night and heavy load running on a dry cycle again with no load of dishes inside, always have to turn off breaker. Have to call repair man in again. Called Samsung number and always put in hold. This time for over 45 minutes until a guy told me that not many workers there on Friday afternoon. If they have that many complaints coming in, then must be something wrong with the company. I would suggest before you buy, call any appliance call the companys 800 number. If put on hold for a long time, dont buy that appliance. What do I want... A new dishwasher and cost to install and a staff available to customers to listen To all of us with complaints. If I bought a new car and it broke it would be fixed. If I buy a new appliance and it doesnt work as soon as I buy it... Well what would be a reasonable answer? Please need help!

I purchased a new stainless steel electric range model NE595R0ABSR/AA and used it once when the ceramic top appeared to have a bubble inside. I contacted the place of purchase and they replaced the range with the same model. I dont cook much and within a couple of weeks, I was once again trying to get rid of the marks on the range top. I used the cleaning product recommended, but it didnt do anything as far as making the top cleaner looking. I contacted the purchaser who couldnt do anything because it was more than 30 days after the purchase date. It was suggested that I contact Samsung. I did and was on the phone with them for over 60 minutes trying to get the range returned and replaced with a new model. Samsung transferred me 3 times. Bottom line is it is a cosmetic issue and they will service it but not replace the defective range. The range is listed as a single product and doesnt advertise it as the best cosmetic range, but the BEST stainless steel electric range. I ran into 2 other customers who had the same problem. Do you think there is a problem with the way the smooth top is manufactured? I would NEVER recommend a Samsung product to anyone. Apparently Samsung is not worried about customer satisfaction. THINK TWICE BEFORE PURCHASING THIS RANGE. DO YOUR HOMEWORK ON WARRANTIES BEFORE BUYING A SAMSUNG PRODUCT.

Samsung French Door Refrigerator RF263BEAESR/AA - Due to an older house I needed to get a smaller refrigerator. It was hard to find due to all the constraints, size, height, and how far the doors could open. I was excited to find the Samsung French Door Refrigerator, because it fit with all the space constraints my home required. It was a new model so there wasnt any reviews available. Unlike my previous Samsung French Door, a larger version, that I had 7 years ago, this one makes cloudy ice. I just found out from a Samsung repair tech that this model will not make clear ice due to the way it makes ice. Also, because of some restrictions lifted on companies making refrigerators most newer models make loud noises, according to the research I found on the internet. My model sounds like someone in there is trying to get out by throwing a large rock around. It happens every 6 to 8 hours. It can wake me up from a sound sleep. I thought it was the ice maker, but I have turned it off and it still makes it. Samsung basically has made all kinds of excuses, but they havent done anything about it. Other Pros: Ive only had it since Nov 2014, going on 8 months. It so far, keeps my food cold and my freezer seems to be working fine. It has plenty of space for me. Had I known about the cloudy ice issue I may have looked into buying another brand.

Cost about $2800. Pros: great energy savings, LED light, very well lighted inside and good use of space. Cons: The drawers are not seamless so food, spilled juices, spilled sauces flows into the seams and will NEVER come clean. The glass shelves are not seamless and the same issue with cleaning is the result. The Ice maker worked great for the 1st year after which it continuously leaks water down the front of the door and makes a high pitch whining noise 24/7. Samsung will not warranty the ice maker. The French doors do not open all the way so it is a real struggle pulling out the drawers and shelves. Recommendation: NEVER purchase a Samsung fridge... EVER AGAIN.

I am being fair and accurate. I bought a Samsung electric stove at Lowes in Henderson, KY about 5/6 years ago. I know you are thinking this has been a long time ago but the oven only lasted about 6 months and I cant afford to have it worked on it any more. I paid for it with a credit card so the original price of $850.00 was probably more like $1200.00. When it first quit working Lowes told me they had no records of me buying it there. I paid for it with a credit card and I find that hard to believe they had no records. Lowes has never been at my home to work on the piece of junk. I say junk and that is exactly what it is. I would not advise anyone to buy a Samsung and to make sure you keep all your records on what you buy at Lowes. Today is Thanksgiving and another year of not being able to cook my own turkey. Christmas is coming up soon and it will be the same way. I wish I had an oven for everyday use. I am like most people these days. I dont have the money to run out and buy another new one. HAPPY THANKSGIVING everyone!

Purchased Samsung Black Stainless French Door - bottom freezer on 6/10/17.
Purchased Samsung Black Stainless French Door - bottom freezer on 6/10/17. Freezer stopped working in 4/2019. Samsung said they would do a 1 X free parts - I would have to pay labor (or vice versa). Warranty was up (less than 2 years since purchase). They entered a wrong phone on service request - not just a wrong number but something made up like: 12345678 which cancelled my appointment because service provider could not reach me. Called them back and they told me they were sorry and because of this they would also pay both the labor and parts. Meanwhile I had researched what could have been wrong and found quite a few google answers that people experienced same thing and it was the evaporator motor. I relayed that to service provider so if they brought that part it would be fixed sooner than later. (Side note at this point we also had to buy a freezer so all the food we stocked up on during pandemic didnt end up in the garbage). They fixed it. Several months later both the refrigerator and freezer stopped working. I called Samsung and immediately was told I would have to pay for repair. I questioned it ONLY. But was prepared to pay the $99 for a diagnostic. They put in service ticket and then noticed days later it was cancelled? I called them and they said we cancelled it because you refused to pay. I never refused to pay?!I ended up called the service provider - they sorted it out and I paid them $99 for house call. They diagnosed it as needing some kind of sealer and refrigerant and Samsung has lengthened the time of the warranty of that particular problem (probably must be an ongoing issue). They had to come back a week later. I was also told - it may or may not work. Sure enough end of May freezer died. Service provider could not come out until the 11th of June. Beginning of beginning of June 2020 refrigerator died as well. Had to throw out all perishables. So we got less than 3 years use. One correction - I communicated with Samsung through their CHAT option. I ended up cancelling the appointment today 6/9/20 and taking the loss and ordering a different brand that wont be delivered until 7/13/20. Horrible experience with this refrigerator. Purchase date: 6/10/2017 - Garbage date: 6/9/20.

He issued me a ticket number and told me to contact Samsung electronics and they are aware of the issue and they will inform me on procedure of getting a reimbursement. 4 business days later and no response. 6 days since initial default of unit and no light at the end of the tunnel. I am very disappointed with my Samsung SMH9207ST over the range microwave. This microwave was purchased along with a Samsung Range, and Refrigerator as we upgraded all of our appliances to stainless. We have not been happy with any appliances especially the Microwave and Range. The microwave has had many problems and now is displaying an error SE and wont work. We have tried to shut it off at the circuit breaker to correct the error. But, that didnt correct the problem. Samsung does NOT stand behind the problem. It seems that these products are designed to only last to the end of the warranty. Nothing beyond. Luckily our dishwasher was not a Samsung and we love it. Bottom line - dont buy Samsung if unless you want disposable appliances. I have never encounter the multiple problems that we have with these.

I bought my Samsung Dishwasher because I thought I saw reviews that it was a good choice. Cant trust all those reviews as this dishwasher lasted less than 2 years. The cost to repair was more than what I paid for the dishwasher in the first place. I have never owned a dishwasher with such poor lasting ability. I will never purchase another Samsung appliance again. SHAME on Samsung for such a bad product. I should get at least 5-10 years out of it. They dont even have enough confidence in their product to offer more than the standard 1 year warranty. I am just so disgusted right now. I dont know what to do.

French door refrigerator. The worst hunk of junk second fridge in 5 years. First ice maker fan was replaced twice. Then the icing started in ice maker has to be cleaned every 2 weeks. Then behind panel in fridge loud fan noise. Service man came out 4 times to clean ice build up and replace heat element in drain. Well can you believe it did not work. So now I get to empty the fridge every 3 weeks, take the panel off to clean all the ice out around the fan and build up on the lines. The sad part is they know all about these problems and do nothing. Would never buy another Samsung again. Thank you Samsung for giving me some extra work to do every month.

Not sure which model I have as the user manual is for all three, but after reading the reviews I guess it doesnt matter much. We bought the dishwasher, along with a suite of Samsung appliances, refrigerator (one service call that took over a month and three visits to fix), microwave, stove and the wall of water dishwasher slightly more than a year ago. Well I know why they call it a wall of water, as that is what you will find on your floor! Weve had two service calls at a cost of $160 on the dishwasher and now, based on the horrendous number of reviews and stories have decided that putting more money in it is foolish. The Samsung dishwasher is the most expensive dishwasher weve ever owned and proves that old saying you get what you pay for is dead wrong.

I just found out I have to SHUT OFF THE WATER SUPPLY TO CHANGE THE FILTER--- MAJOR DESIGN FLAW. I either have to pull the fridge out from the wall (big fridge -- hard to do) or shut the main water valve off at the street. Thats just wrong... Purchased Samsung FTQ307 in 2012, extended warranty. After 3 years of wonderful use it burns out the inverter and power control board. Contacted Lowes for warranty and they stipulate its out of warranty. I make the purchase to replace burned out cards. It worked for 4 days and burns out in the same fashion. Contacted Lowes again to verify warranty information and then it was under warranty when it originally broke but is not anymore. Contacted Samsung. The glass-top and internals under the glass-top are cover under a 5 year parts warranty. They honored said warranty and added in the labor too since it originally failed under the extended warranty. Technician came out to repair but did not have all the parts. They were on back order. Samsung placed paperwork in to reimburse cost of parts that I installed and began the process of doing a buy back. A few days later Samsung said they never said they were going to reimburse parts cost and that they were would never offer a buy back. Repair guy came out and repaired the stove. 2 hours later it burned out again. Samsung and the repair company have a 30 day labor and 60 day parts warranty. Samsung has now voided all warranty to everything. All my major appliances are Samsung. I will be selling them all with a different company and will not ever own a Samsung device again. In the whole process of dealing with Samsung, they would say and/or offer one thing and the next day take it back or say it never happened. And with the actual repair company Samsung stated that the technician said it was because it was repaired by my hand that I caused the issue, when in fact they did not say that.

My elderly mother bought a Samsung refrigerator, microwave and stove and they worked well for at least the first year. Since then, the handles on both the microwave and freezer door of the refrigerator have both broken off (my mother is in her 70s and not very strong) and it has cost her literally hundreds of dollars to have servicemen come and fix them because the warranty was no longer valid. She has spent more money trying to fix them than they were worth when she bought them!!! She is now having trouble with her stove, a stove which offers a divider so that one doesnt have to heat up the entire stove just a small portion of it (given that she is generally only cooking for herself). Well, guess what, the stove blew and the only way to get it to work is to remove the divider (the very reason she bought that stove) and Samsung will do nothing about it. These are products that should last AT LEAST ten years before any problems occur. Worst customer service, worst products. Worst of all, I recommended them to my elderly mother! So infuriated!

Even a small amount of research on Samsung dishwashers should send you screaming in horror at the thought of buying this product. Ive never written a negative product review until today, but I am compelled to warn anyone with money in his or her pocket and a hankering for a shiny new dishwasher to shop elsewhere. Just dont do it. You will be glad you didnt. This PoS I have has been a clunker from the beginning. The writing wore off the front panel in just months. It thumps when it runs. It has been down and broken more times than I can count, from input valve to water sensor to spray arms that wont stay on to fragile wheels to not draining, to not filling and worst of all, to the longest freaking dishwashing cycle I have ever seen while still not getting my dishes clean. Thank God I fix my own stuff, otherwise this $800 dishwasher would have cost me TRIPLE in repairs. It is a CONSTANT thorn in my side... constant. I have sworn off Samsung products of all kinds forever and weekly I remind my four young children to never ever ever ever buy a Samsung product. You would DO well to join them, for your sake.

Large burner (Samsung Induction Range NE58K9560WS) worked properly about three times then suddenly would turn off after about 3 seconds. First service attempt could not get it to work but if he traded out knob would work so was not prepared and had to return with another knob. Second service call different guy with different problems he could not figure out. Third call, original service guy who still could not get it to work properly so the same people they called for help each time said I had to use a VERY large heavy pot for it to work. I was not there. I heard this through my husband. So supposedly the same pot that didnt work before now does work on that burner and my husband was supposedly EDUCATED about the proper pan size to use for each burner. Interesting as my old induction Kenmore never had a problem, and I could use any size pan on any burner. Well when I got home I tried the large pot on the burner but the scale on the knob was completely off. As I turned the knob it does not start until I get to simmer and it boosts to a 6, then the next notch goes to 9. Then 8, then to 4!!! It is suppose to increase incrementally from 1 to 9! So I call back to tell them the problem and I am supposedly in service call time out, as they clearly dont believe the stove has anything wrong with it. I am very frustrated and really wish I had never purchased this appliance. Did I mention that the service techs rely on YouTube like videos to troubleshoot and repair, and also call their tech support.

Bought Samsung side by side refrigerator, dishwasher, and range. Ice maker overfills and drops the cubes frozen into one slab. Causes sugar to jam and busts ice bin. Replaced 3 times while still under warranty. Requested Samsung send a tech to fix problem but was told they could not do that, best they could do was mail an ice bin. Fan started making noise that got louder & louder. Eventually realized ice was building up behind the wall. I was still denied service. Have to manually defrost every few months! Now out of warranty and bin busted again. Not paying $160 for a bin that will just bust. Have a plastic box to catch the ice and dont use the dispenser. Dishwasher is also a piece of junk! Doesnt drain properly and smells awful! Stove is the only thing that hasnt given problems yet!

SAMSUNG DOUBLE OVEN CONVECTION RANGE NE59J7850WS - After a kitchen remodel
SAMSUNG DOUBLE OVEN CONVECTION RANGE NE59J7850WS - After a kitchen remodel last year I updated my appliances and since we have such fantastic folks at our local Lowes store, that is where I went to buy them. First time in 20 years. I am sick that I had to do so now that I have had to experience complete failure in my new products. I went through 5 new stoves and returned them for one reason or another. Lowes was amazing in their desire to be sure I was satisfied. I eventually settled for the Samsung because I thought the small oven and the convection feature would be good.I am 62 years old and started cooking when I was 8. I have never in my entire life burned as many things as I have burned with this cook top in the past 4 months of ownership. I cannot control the temperature so I have to cook absolutely everything on the lowest setting and stand over the stove while it is cooking. The ovens just completely stopped working today and I have no idea why. Before the ovens quit working, the fans blew in my oven and overcooked half of the food I would bake and under cook the other side of it. I NEVER EVER get the stove top clean, EVER. I use the products made just for the smooth top and all it does is smudge. I am way too frustrated after 5 stoves and then spending what I consider a fortune on this stove to even consider calling service people if I will not be able to understand them. Unplugging and plugging back in did not work for me. Waiting for that class action suit for sure.

Samsung refrigerator model #RS275ACWP purchased in December 2008: By 2012 it developed a leak at the freezers backplane. The leak caused the bottom drawer to seize up. Samsung recommended solution was to replace the backplane at a cost of hundreds of dollars. A handyman resealed the original backplane at a considerably lower cost. By 2013 the ice maker failed by producing too much ice. The ice box became locked up and water spilled into the interior, causing still more ice on the freezer shelves. The water even dribbles out of the ice shoot. The Samsung authorized technician stated that three parts need to be replaced at a cost of $450.

Samsung SMH9187ST Microwave SE Error - I now have this issue and the microwave has been serviced twice before since 2010. In response to an earlier post, the board is available and can be found easily on the net. What is not available anymore is the entire assembly of the control panel, touchpad, bracket and PCB board. I will attempt to repair this myself by replacing the most likely component of the touchpad for $30.00 or less. I had the unit apart and attempted to clean the sensors. This worked for about 3 hours only to have the error recur. There are a couple of repair videos on YouTube that show you how simple the repair is for the DIYers out there... Im dissatisfied overall, but going forward Ill turn the fan on when cooking where steam rolls upward to the unit and probably use the left front burner area to reduce the hot steam from being right underneath the control panel assembly... Maybe this will reduce the frequency probability in the future.

We purchased a side by side refrigerator from Lowes in Oct. 2012. Last year the refrigerator side build up ice and it stopped cooling. We had to purchase an extended warranty ($388.95) and have a subcontractor come out and repair it. At the time he said it was a known issue and more than likely it would happen again. Sure enough 10 months later we are having the same issue. A different subcontractor came out today and had to order the parts. This service tech said it was a known issue with Samsung refrigerators and more than likely it would happen again. I called the extended warranty Samsung Protection Plus and was told the part would only be guaranteed for 30 days and referred me to the main Samsung customer service. I spent over an hour on the phone, mostly on hold only to be told by the Executive Customer Relations Department that there is nothing they can do for me. The only way we can have repairs covered is to purchase another extended warranty (another $388.95). I will never purchase another appliance from Samsung.

About one year after I purchased my Samsung dishwasher (DMT800RHS), we began getting error messages and problems with dishes. We had a Samsung authorized tech come out at $250 expense to ourselves and he found a bunch of plastic pieces the color of the racks in the pump impeller. Nearly 6 months later, we had the same issue and had a local tech come out. For another $75, he retrieved the same rack colored pieces of plastic out of the pump. Tonight, we had a third tech come out and retrieve more rack pieces out of the pump. I have attached photos of the rack adjuster, where every plastic attachment is broken on both sides. These have broken during operation. I hope this review helps someone choose carefully when purchasing a dishwasher, and avoid the headache that we have been dealing with.

Don’t buy Samsung! They are not responsible nor do they take ownership for their manufacturers defects. After only 3 years all 5 knobs have broken on my range purchased Dec 31 2015. I cannot use the range and Samsung refuses to acknowledge ownership for poor quality or replace the knobs. It is a simple task that costs less than $5 yet they are willing to lose business over $5. It seems they do not value their customers. In 25 years I have never had any knob break on my ranges. Even the cheapest of Frigidaire ranges are sturdier and better built than this Samsung model that I purchased through Costco for $1,100. Very disappointed in Samsung’s customer service. All my appliances are Samsung (dishwasher, fridge, tv, phone, etc) and this is the customer loyalty they show. Disgraceful. We bought a Samsung Stove Top/Oven last September. On July 31st, a regulator malfunctioned which prevents the gas from turning off. We immediately called Samsung, which (after several phone calls) said that they would give a full refund (instead of paying for the repair). That was their choice, not ours. After two days with no response from Samsung customer service, I called back and (after 40 minutes of hold time... which has been a pretty standard amount of time to wait) I was told my picture of the receipt didnt capture the whole receipt and was asked if I could take it again. I did, sent it into the same email I sent the first and heard nothing for 2 days. I called and (after 40 minutes of hold time) they told me they didnt get it. I resent it and then it was verbally confirmed that they received it and it was adequate. We heard nothing for a day or two and I called back and (after 40 minutes of hold time) they told me it was in process. I explained that we were without an oven and they assured me they understood. Ive called back every 2 or 3 days for a month... always given the same promise that today, someone will call me/email me/contact me which hasnt happened. In one month of dealing with their customer service I have only received one phone call or email from Samsung. Every contact was initiated by me and every email has gone unanswered--even when I request and demand an answer. on August 17th I was told that my refund request was rejected because my receipt was not a valid bill of sale because it didnt have all of the required information (that is, the model number and name of the stove). This was the only receipt I was given, so I called the local store. They sent me some screen shots of all the information they had, which I forwarded to the emails provided to me by Samsung. In the 12 days since, I still have not heard anything from Samsung. They have not called back (as they said they would), they have not answered an email (which they said they will). If I call, I cannot speak to the same person I spoke to the day before, but must listen as this new person assures me they are on my side and want me to get my refund and assure me they will call me back (which NEVER HAPPENS). When I ask to speak to a supervisor (or executive customer service) I wait for 40 minutes and still get zero help. What a COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT the oven has been and what a complete and total mess their customer service has been.

I purchase my home 4 years ago. So I wanted all new appliances to go with my new home. I went to Sears. Bought a refrigerator, washer and dryer. All Samsung. I also did renovations to my home before I moved in. I didn’t move I until maybe 10 months later. Now my refrigerator leaks. The drawers are flooded with water. Or it’s frozen and can’t open. Also my dryer. That stopped working. Was told I need a new motor. And Samsung told me the manufacturer warranty is only for two years. I can’t even wrap my head around this. Samsung does not stand by their products. I’m so disappointed. Here I thought I was getting a good brand. And got everything brand new. So upset.

We purchased our Samsung dishwasher just over a year ago from Home Depot. It has proven to be our worst purchase ever. It does not only NOT clean our dishes, it actually leaves our glasses dirtier than when they went in... Appears that food particles spray around the dishwasher but arent actually cleaned from the dishes & glasses. Saw a W5 program that highlighted how bad these machines really are. Hopefully, Home Depot will do something about this.

We have had our Samsung appliances for a little over 2 months now. The appliances were installed by qualified tradesmen, and today me le light came on the dishwasher. We are not happy with our appliances and just watched market place and they got a lousy rating. I am going to try and get my money back. Never would I recommend a Samsung appliance.

After less than two years with very little use, the microwave started beeping and giving error code SE. I tried all suggestion of unplugging, disconnecting wiring, etc. but still have defective unit. Obvious defective unit needing warranty recall! I started looking for a replacement but you can bet it will not be a Samsung.

When the oven reached its temperature the back panel burst into flames. I called Samsung and they said they will pay for labor. We need to pay for parts since it is 5 years old. I think if an appliance goes on fire in your home they should make good on their products. I will NEVER buy another Samsung item and will share my story with whomever I come in contact with. We also needed to pay for an electrician, which was recommended by the fireman that came to my house.
