Remodeled our kitchen Summer 2014 and purchased all new top of the line Samsung appliances (Fridge, range, micro & dishwasher). Definitely not cheap. 6 months in was the first service call on the Fridge. After 4 calls finally repairman sent out to access a dead ice maker. He shows up & states I need a new ice maker and had to order it. No ** Sherlock! Fixed it on second service call. Now 12 months and Dishwasher makes a loud bang then stops, making only a loud electrical hum. You know that hum, the on that says the pump/motor just crapped its pants. DREADING calling Samsung repair again. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY A SAMSUNG APPLIANCE!!!

We purchased a Samsung French Door fridge model number SRF644CDLS 18/11/2017. Six months after purchase the ice dispenser stopped working. We contacted Samsung support and they sent a repairman to fix the fridge and after a great deal of time waiting for a part the dispenser worked. 12 months later the ice dispenser ceased to work so we contacted Samsung once again and were directed to another repair firm who said the dispenser was faulty and we had to wait once again for a new part. By this time I was worried that our warranty would expire but the Samsung repairer assured me we would still be covered because it was always the same problem. Now time has passed and we started to find small pieces of white plastic mixed with our ice, a month later and the dispenser has ceased working. We have contacted Samsung once again requesting a new fridge not a repair this time. Samsung said they would contact their assessor which they haven’t so we did. The assessor have said they would contact Samsung and get back to us again this did not eventuate. We feel we are right back at square one with a faulty fridge.

I purchased a Samsung Refrigerator last year. I didnt get refrigerator delivered till January and the ice maker stopped making ice. When I called Samsung they told me it goes from date of purchase so it is not covered. What poor customer service and I will never purchased another Samsung product ever again. I planning to contact the Better Bureau and any other government agency to complain. How can you not cover a product that was not even delivered to my home?

Samsung refrigerator 25.6 cu. ft 3door - I have bought this refrigerator 8/13/2013 for $1,624.49 and it was the worst buy I have ever done in my life. One would hope that you spend that much money and a name brand you should get quality. It has been 5yrs in that time I have had noise problems, panel is very difficult to change temp in unit also cant reset the filter warning, ice making unit freezes over, flip shelf is very flimsy and weak, back unit in refrigerator is freezing and not keeping temp. Now I have to try to fix this myself not fun not having a refrigerator!!!

I have an overhead fan and microwave by Samsung. (I also have Samsung fridge and stove. All three have given me problems.) The paint on the interior of the microwave is peeling off, especially under the glass turntable. The handle snapped off (cheap plastic part). Samsung wants 85$ for replacement handle which keeps breaking off! (Nice little money-maker you got going on Samsung)! Why dont you actually fix the problem?! The stainless steel is impossible to keep clean (same as fridge and stove). My advice -- stay away from Samsung kitchen appliances, they are not worth the money and headaches!

I bought the Samsung French Doors/Bottom Freezer in June 13, 2011 (Model RF266AEPN/XAA). The first repair came in December 2011. Control panel was iced. The refrigerator was not cooling. In fact, temperature control showed 68 degrees! Then there was the issue of the freezer door. You had to forcefully open it, as though the side rails that supported the freezer seem to lock, preventing the door to open. Then once opened, it had to be forcefully closed. Now, its happening again. Refrigerator is losing its cool. It just so happened that I kept the old Amana in the garage. Ive had to transfer the items from the Samsung to the Amana. I called BrandsMart USA on Friday, March 16, 2012, where it was purchased since it is still under warranty. They set up for someone to contact me on Monday, March 19, 2012. I am going to look into whether I can return it to BrandsMart USA. The first time it was repaired, the Samsung repairman said they were having issues with these refrigerators. I am going to check with my legal plan to see what can be done. I will not purchase a Samsung anything again.

We purchased a Samsung Electric Range Model NE597ROABSR/AA in October 2012. After using it for about 2 months, the range started smoking and quit working. We called Samsung and had a tech come out. He found a wire had arced and burned in the back of the Range. He fixed the problem but I am very concerned about using the range. Afraid it will catch fire. I believe a range two months old should not have a wire burn out and the risk of danger to my family of catching on fire. The tech said he had repaired another range that had the same problem. I will not purchase anything with the Samsung name on it because this is not the only appliance I have had a problem with.

In 2011 we purchased a Samsung French Door refrigerator based on the twin cooling system. I love the French door style but the paint peeled off one of the handles within the first 90 days. I contacted Samsung and they told me it was a maintenance issue and it was my problem. They referred me to a parts supplier and I was prepared to buy a new handle (I had no choice) but none were available. They were to contact me when they had one. Now they are discontinued and I cant find one anywhere. I spent over $1,000.00 on a refrigerator that looks TERRIBLE.

My husband and I purchased a white Samsung French door refrigerator (RF26XAEWP) about four years ago. Recently we are noticing that the porcelain beneath the water/ice dispenser has begun to rust. When I contacted Samsung customer service, I was told that the warranty had expired and that this was cosmetic damage and we would be responsible for the repair. I was given the phone number for the Samsung Repair Service for my area and that was it. When I expressed concern that this refrigerator was rusting after such a short period of time and that possibly the porcelain coating was improperly or inadequately applied, I was told there was nothing they could do as the appliance was no longer under warranty. So now I am going to have to pay $502.90 to replace the door. Apparently it is of no concern to them that I have to pay this, given the fact that we feel the problem was inadequate porcelain coverage in the first place. After 47 years of marriage and many refrigerator purchases (various brands), we have never experienced rust on the refrigerator. That being said, we will fix this appliance as we cannot afford to purchase a new refrigerator, but we will never purchase another Samsung appliance again. This refrigerator was purchased at Lowes in Kissimmee.

Samsung needs to stick to electronics. Wish I had read customer reviews from https://www.consumeraffairs.com/homeowners/samsung-stove-oven-range.html before purchasing. On October 15, 2015, we replaced a perfectly good stove top that we had for over 10 years because the oven was broken. We were quite excited to have a working oven, but were quickly disappointed as it was not heating properly. Additionally, the keys on the display were hard to push, the fast boil feature does not work, and the stove top is starting to show signs of cracking from heat (something many consumers are complaining about). A technician had to replace the display, the main board, and two probes on a six month old stove. He needs to come back to fix the fast boil and submitted pictures of the cracks to Samsung Product Review to approve. Samsung claims its aesthetic and wont approve the replacement. If you look at the other complaints, you will see that it eventually cracks completely when you least expected. Our range is less than six months old and already has caused more issues than any of our other appliances that are over 10 years old. I suggest Best Buy take them off the floor. I forecast that Samsung is a range away from a class action lawsuit.

4 years ago we purchased a Samsung refrigerator with double doors and the freezer in the bottom. After 1 year we started to get frost on the back inside of fridge and also water would fill the bottom of my vegetable drawers. I put up with this until January 2020 when my husband googled the issues and realized the drain tube in the back of fridge was a faulty issue with this product. We thawed out the fridge for 2 days and installed the new drain tube thinking we had the issue resolved. March 5, 2020 I opened the fridge door only to discover the temperature in the fridge was 50 degrees so I pushed the power cool button. The fridge cooled off to 38 degrees again and I thought we were good. This went on for 3 days and we finally had enough. I have purchased a new GE refrigerator and will never purchase another Samsung product.

Samsung is my go to brand for appliances. I didn’t hesitate buying my Samsung gas range and lm happy with its performance but I am not feeling same about the look. Two things disappointed me when it arrived after ordering it online, sight unseen; the bright red lined knobs on the sleek white range and especially large gap between the warmer drawer and the oven door. If they could correct that, I’d be 100% happy with it.

Bought a Samsung Sodastream French door Refrigerator. I bought it June 2014. Dealing with Samsung is a nightmare. They have a call center in Honduras. They have a executive complaint department that is useless and rude. My ice maker had problems. It is in the fridge not freezer. Two service companies came out and said I would have to turn off fridge for two days. This happened April 2015. Still not fixed. It does not make cubes only crushed ice. The ice bucket is frozen and cant get open. It makes a horrible noise when you try to get ice. I have spent almost 100 hours on phone with Samsung. Some of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. This problem occurred in month 10 of purchase. Now Samsung told me one year warranty up, cant fix. Im going to court over this. $3500 for this. I live in Ma and we have a consumer protection here. We can give a 30 day demand letter then go to court. Dont buy Samsung. Service is nonexistent and reps are rude and not very smart. Never again. Im done bunch of morons for customer support.

RF4287HARS/XAA - I rarely write negative reviews but this refrigerator is terrible. The ice maker has broken twice in two years resulting in thousands of dollars in damages to my widowed mothers floor. Bought it at HH Gregg in Charlotte. The first time the ice maker broke was two weeks after the 1 year warranty expired. Called HH Gregg and they didnt care. Do not buy the new fancy multi-door with fancy lights refrigerators. They are unreliable with too many fragile cheap parts and the manufacturers make their money on maintenance agreements. If you have to purchase an extended warranty that is an indication the product is garbage. I have a fifteen year old, two door standard Frigidaire at its worked flawlessly all along.

Samsung will have someone come out to service it, it will last about a month, then its out again. I have to miss work once a month to wait on appliance repair to basically put a bandage on it. I purchased this refrigerator for over $2,000 and I cant even get a working ice maker. Im so angry with Samsung for selling a lemon for a fridge. Purchased a French door, lower freezer Samsung fridge from Lowes in 2009. I have a 25 year old Jenaire fridge in the garage that I have never spent a dime on for repairs. I had had multiple problems with the Samsung fridge, including having to replace the ice maker, some other parts that caused the fridge to stop cooling (about $400.00). The ice maker has always leaked water the first time it is used, causing stains down the front of the door & pooling on top of the freezer door. Now my newest problem is that the door that has the ice maker is rusting through, particularly around the ice maker but also at the bottom. My fear is that the insulation in the door is covered In mold.

I purchased this microwave from Home Depot in Squamish BC, and have not stopped regretting it after numerous and non-stop issues. The power level button has never worked, the magnetron broke, the machine ran continuously without shutting off, it displayed multiple error codes. The sensor pad, key pad and magnetron (everything but the fan and light) were all replaced within the 1st year, costing much more than replacing it and the same issues are still happening now just outside of warranty. I was told I could purchase a extended warranty any time within the 1st year and was not able to after many attempts. After much complaining and pressure, Home Depot did advocate for me to get a new replacement unit but was not successful. This horrible experience could have been far less stressful if not for the inflexible and unreasonable policy of Samsung. The many agents I spoke with were polite and understanding but completely unable to provide reasonable customer service due to the strict, wasteful and outrageous Samsung repair rules policies and guidelines. I am awaiting to hear back from them after another phone call but based on the last year of my experience with this appliance, am not holding my breath. I hope this review saves someone else from this very frustrating experience. There are hundreds of videos on youtube and complaints highlighting the same issues we have had with our machine. These appliances seem to be consistent lemons.

In November 2015 we purchased a Samsung Electric Range with Black Stainless finish. The model number is NE59J7630SG, recently we have noticed that the paint is flaking off around the oven door. Your hands do not come in contact with this area. We contacted Samsung and they told us it was too bad but they call it a cosmetic issue, so it is not covered under any warranty. The Best Buy protection policy does not cover it as well. After viewing many complaints about Samsungs Black stainless issues on the internet, both ranges and refrigerators we decided to push the issue. Samsung said they would send a repair person out but if the issue was deemed cosmetic we would have to pay the $200.00 service call. We have sent pictures and done everything they wanted and they will not back the product. It is my (and many others) opinion that appliances should not have paint peeling off of them after 2 1/2 years.

In 2012, I purchased a Samsung microwave, electric stove/range, and refrigerator. During the first year, the control panel on the refrigerator stopped working three times. Fortunately, the refrigerator was under the one-year warranty, and Samsung paid to have the panel replaced each time. So far, I have had no further problems with the refrigerator. Within five years, the handle on the microwave pulled off. Within two years of purchasing the stove, the oven completely stopped working. The cost to repair was nearly as much as a new stove plus the repairman could not guarantee when the parts would arrive from overseas. I decided to purchase another stove and stuck with the same Samsung model as it matched the other appliances in my kitchen. Who could imagine (not me!) that within two years, the ceramic stove-top, for absolutely no reason, would crack and shatter. I can understand occasional problems with manufactured products, but to have all four appliances perform so poorly within five years is indicative of gross incompetence and poor workmanship on the part of Samsung.

It was the worst decision I have ever made. In the summer I have to buy ice because it does make enough. I purchased a new stainless steel electric range model NE595R0ABSR/AA and used it once when the ceramic top appeared to have a bubble inside. I contacted the place of purchase and they replaced the range with the same model. I dont cook much and within a couple of weeks, I was once again trying to get rid of the marks on the range top. I used the cleaning product recommended, but it didnt do anything as far as making the top cleaner looking. I contacted the purchaser who couldnt do anything because it was more than 30 days after the purchase date. It was suggested that I contact Samsung. I did and was on the phone with them for over 60 minutes trying to get the range returned and replaced with a new model. Samsung transferred me 3 times. Bottom line is it is a cosmetic issue and they will service it but not replace the defective range. The range is listed as a single product and doesnt advertise it as the best cosmetic range, but the BEST stainless steel electric range. I ran into 2 other customers who had the same problem. Do you think there is a problem with the way the smooth top is manufactured? I would NEVER recommend a Samsung product to anyone. Apparently Samsung is not worried about customer satisfaction. I had a 7 year old Samsung refrigerator that froze up completely in the back which stops the fan and then the refrigerator does not cool. Had it repaired 3 times in a month. Problem kept happening and I pretty much didn’t have a working refrigerator for 5 weeks. Finally the repairman told me the whole cooling system had to be replaced. The cost would be at least 1200.00. I wasn’t going to put that much money into a refrigerator that was over 7 years old. I thought this was just bad luck and went out and bought another Samsung refrigerator. 2 years later the exact same thing is happening and I’m going through the same thing with the Samsung Repairman who keeps coming in to fix it and two weeks later it happens again. Now I find out doing my research that this is a common problem for Samsung refrigerators and there are two class action lawsuits against them. Because the refrigerator is less than 5 years old the main cooling system is still under warranty, but Samsung doesn’t want to admit that that’s the problem and replace it. Customer service is not helpful at all and they really don’t care how long you have to go without a refrigerator. Besides this problem the inside of these refrigerators are made like crap. All the shelves on the doors have cracks in them and all the wheels on the drawers have snapped off. I will never buy another Samsung product again, unfortunately it was a very expensive lesson to learn.

Ice maker never worked properly (leaked, jammed, made inadequate ice when it did work). Since I had another refrigerator, I decided to take out the ice maker to make more room in the freezer. Did so (after great effort--badly designed drawers for removal). Refrigerator wouldnt work. Went on chat line. First time worked with someone for 25 minutes who obviously didnt have a clue about my particular model (kept referring to buttons that didnt exist) even though I had given her the correct model (french door unit)--then cut off. Tried again; passed to another tech. In both cases, I asked if the removal of the ice maker might have caused the problem. Was assured not. Went through every possible trouble-shooting efforts (most of which I had already done). Asked again: could it be that the removal of the icemaker was causing the problems? No, I was told, I would have to call a service rep. Before I did so, however, I reinstalled the icemaker. Refrigerator worked perfectly. Apart from the fact that English is clearly a second language, these folks dont have a clue about their own equipment.

We purchased a new Samsung refrigerator in July, 2015 and immediately noticed loud popping and cracking noises. I contacted Samsung and was told this was normal due to our purchase of a model with automatic defrost. (Is there a manufacturer that still makes a manual defrost refrigerator?) No help here, so later I began a Live Chat on Samsungs website to again register my complaint. I was eventually given a link to request a service technician to come and examine the refrigerator. The link failed and I lost all contact with the rep. I then called the service request department and had a long conversation with a nice lady that again confirmed that the noise was normal. I donated a 20 year old Whirlpool that I wish I could get back and dump this Samsung. Never will I ever consider buying any other Samsung product.

Samsung Model RF31FMEDBSR - Worst fridge ever. Icemaker has always frozen up. It definitely does not make the 10 pounds a day that they advertised and now the whole fridge is freezing up and not keeping our food properly cooled. I am very confident we have eaten spoiled or bad food because of the temp problems. The door says one thing but the actual temperature is much warmer. Customer service at Samsung was asking if the door was closed and other time-wasting questions.

I purchased the new adjustable double oven range as I liked its versatility. In the past I had a Maytag double oven. In comparison, the Samsung glass top is much less durable and more prone to scratching and damage. I also cannot seem to get the self clean to function. Happy with the ovens but not sure Id repurchase.

RF217ACRS - Bought fridge in June 2010. Freezer stopped working in June 2014. It was still under 5-year Sealed Refrigeration System Warranty, so I went through a Samsung referred repair company. Our first visit was on 6/27. After our 10th repair visit on Sept 12, 2014, all of which entailed numerous attempts and were coordinated with Samsung Technical Support via telephone, our fridge was deemed unrepairable. (I have invoices and notes documenting each visit.) After 6 different Samsung repair ticket numbers obtained while working with Samsung Executive Customer Service to get Warranty compensation, I was exhausted. When I called them, I was on hold from 17:8 to 47:12 minutes each time and told something different every time. At one point I was talking to an individual in CA (address was residential via phone # look-up). They broke me down when they told me that our repairman should have gotten a 7000# from the Samsung Tech at the time the system was deemed unrepairable. We went entire summer without a working freezer. We would have dumped the refrigerator earlier had we known warranty was not going to come through. I could go on, but I think readers have the idea and the point(s) I am making about Samsung Refrigerators and their Executive Customer Service.

Purchased this RF267AERS fridge in 2012 and the nightmare began almost right away. The fridge was making a loud noise that would stop once the doors were opened. Called for support but since the fridge was out of warranty by 6 months, they would do nothing! This was an expensive model and is a piece of crap. Apparently plenty of people have the same problem with this model. The back wall freezes up and the fan blade hits the ice so if you do not unplug and melt the ice, you risk ruining the cooling fans. What a pain in the neck trying to store food and spending all that time to have the fridge freeze right back up every six months. This month, I have already defrosted it twice and it looks like I am going to have to do it again. All they say is there is no recall. THERE SHOULD BE!!!!!!!!! No other help or advice is given. I was a loyal Samsung consumer but will never purchase another Samsung product, EVER!

My appliances are not a year old. Spray arm fell off dishwasher. Microwave is a piece of garbage. Refrigerator/freezer makes so much noise that we have to close our bedroom door to sleep because it sounds as if someone is trying to break in. I am so disappointed. I have had to call Samsung for support and am amazed. You can not understand the service representatives. The service representatives know absolutely nothing and continuously put you on hold for long periods of time. Who has time for this? Many dont they stand behind these supposedly top of the line products that cost a fortune? What can I do?

We find this refrigerator answers all our needs especially with the snack drawer. It is very attractive also. This Samsung refrigerator has lots of room with variable adjustable shelving, deep bins, and a deep freezer drawer on the bottom. The water/ice dispenser is invaluable and has the option of cubes or crushed ice. The only maintenance needed is replacing the water filter every six months. Great size and value for a family.

We bought our Samsung French door Refrigerator/freezer 3 years ago. After the warranty expired we noticed the ice maker stopped working. Pulled the bucket out to find large ice over on the ice maker itself. Since then, every 2 weeks we have to manually defrost our ice maker. About a month ago it started leaking water out of the water/ice dispenser. Now we have to wipe the floor and collection tray numerous times a day. This also includes inside under the crisper bins where water collects. I have contacted Samsung on more than 1 occasion. 0/10, would not recommend to anyone for either product or customer service.

I bought my Samsung Dishwasher in 2011. When we had owned it only 13 months (only used 7 months as I stored it until kitchen renovation was complete) my Samsung dishwasher DMT800 broke down the first time. Had to wait a week before I could get anyone to work on it. The plastic tabs on the top rack had broken and fallen into the bottom and the washer arm would not spin. Technician ordered new brackets and installed them, cost $200. Same thing happened with new plastic part. I had my husband take the whole thing apart and clear out the brackets the next time. Now the top arm of the dishwasher will not work nor will the detergent dispenser dump the detergent. Loved my old KitchenAid dishwasher. It was still working perfectly when I gave it away to install matching Samsung appliances. Will never buy Samsung again. Hope you see this before you buy Samsung. Beware.

I bought this fridge in 2014 and one for my parents shortly after. For the first 2 years they both worked great. The last 2 years not so much. My parents unit ice machine has been replaced twice due to it freezing up and not working. I fortunately have not had that problem with the ice machine. The freezer and middle drawer of the fridge work great and maintain temperature without issue. The main section of the refrigerator does a very poor job of keep food cold. I discovered the fan that is supposed to circulate the air was not working. Samsung wanting to charge some crazy amount of money just to come troubleshoot it so I tore it apart myself. In the back of the fridge the cooling coil was frozen over and caused the fan to burn out. After thawing the fridge and replacing the fan it worked for a few months but subsequently froze again. Replacing this fan every few months seem very silly and now I regularly have to tear the fridge apart and thaw the coil to ensure it doesn’t burn out the motor. The last 6 months I have noticed that even when the fan is working the fridge does not stay cold anymore. The door reads 34 degrees but in the fridge it is anywhere from 40 to 60 degrees and any given time. It is a shame that 2 refrigerators that cost nearly $3000 dont work after less than 4 years. I will never buy a Samsung refrigerator again. Both units are nothing but JUNK now!!! Now we have to decide if we want to continue to throw items away when it decides it doesn’t want to keep food cold or buy another $3000 fridge. Very disappointed.

(5 year warranty on panel) We contacted Lowes first and they said they had about 50% of them come back with same issue which caused Samsung to stop manufacturing until issue was solved, but that we would have to call Samsung to service it since we hadnt purchased extended warranty. Samsung said they have no one in our area to service us, to contact Lowes and they will find someone. Lowes did, and an appt scheduled. We purchased a self cleaning, Samsung stove April 11, 2018 from Trail Appliances in Red Deer, Ab. I have used the self cleaning mode 3 times, & 3 times the C-31 displays after using it & the display panel will not work. The 1st time, I was without an oven for 15 days, the 2nd time, 9 days & am waiting again, for it to be fixed. I was told by 2 people at Trail Appliances, & Brian, from Samsung, to just not use the self cleaning feature. In my opinion, that is like buying a new car, & them telling you to not use the headlights! The salesman certainly did not warn us that all of the brand names who have the self cleaning feature, had issues. Their solution was, that whenever I use the self clean mode, to pull the oven away from the wall 6 & turn the fan on full blast for the duration of the cycle! Even the repairman said that they are a problem. Samsung said they will just keep fixing it until my warranty runs out because there is no problem, & he was very rude to me as he kept raising his voice & was yelling at me. Brian ** from Samsung. My warranty runs out in April, & I am SOL, so dont buy from Samsung!

I purchased this dishwasher October of 2020. The first time I ran it, error code OC flashed and the dishwasher would not complete washing. A plumber came and checked the waterline/connections and Samsung came out and replaced the motherboard and the issue remains. It has now been 3 months and the problem has not been resolved. Samsung will not replace this because they have not actually seen the error code on the dishwasher. To run a full cycle from start to finish before the error code stops the cycle, I have to run it 3-4 times before it will fully run through a full cycle.

I ordered the Install and old appliance haul away when I bought my dishwash
I ordered the Install and old appliance haul away when I bought my dishwasher. I got neither of these things. The all in one package is why I chose Samsung to begin with. The contractors who arrived with my appliance had no certifications to install anything nor did they bring any tools (I had to give them my tools). The contractors pulled my old dishwasher halfway out and said they couldnt go any further for fear of damaging the wall (the washer wasnt connected to the wall and any qualified installation tech or plumber would have known that). So they left me stuck with a dishwasher halfway out of place. I had to get a plumber to come out and finish the job which costed me money! I was also transferred 5 times because agents kept transferring me to the wrong department and had to call twice because while on hold I was transferred to the review line which took me off the call. After finally being transferred to the home appliance line the agent kept telling me he understood my frustration and he would be upset too if that happened to him. After I asked at the bare minimum compensate me for the the plumber having to come out he told me there was NOTHING he could do because it was XPOs fault not Samsung. Well I paid Samsung for a Samsung product so yes it is Samsungs fault! So Im out the money for a plumber!I have already left a complaint with the BBB and will not be ordering anything from such a dishonest company again. I was lied to when the Samsung website said installation and haul away. The best offer I got from the agent was they could send someone out the week after which is completely unacceptable because again my dishwasher was hanging halfway out! All the agents I talked to should feel ashamed of their terrible customer service and Samsung should be ashamed that they LIE on their website.

My dishwasher would not use the dishwasher packets I was using to wash the dishes. The soap dish flap would open, but the packet would not be used. I call Samsung and their support is the WORST! I got a guy that spoke poor English and probably never saw a dishwasher before. I told him the problem and he told me to clean the dispenser and turn off the circuit breaker. It was a TOTAL waste of time. He asked for the serial number and I gave it to him 3, (YES THREE TIMES), then he told me he was not paying attention when I gave him the number. Then he wanted to know the service provider of my cell phone. What has that got to do with the dishwasher, but he said he needed it. At that point, I knew that Samsung support people were brain dead and I just hung up. I already spend too MUCH time trying to explain the problem and another 4 hours with their support would not have made a difference. I do plan to get rid of my Samsung dishwasher and go back to my Whirlpool. I had a Whirlpool for over 10 years and NEVER had a problem with it. I replaced it because we decided to redo our Kitchen with Stainless appliances and we went with a few Samsung appliances. Now I will never buy Samsung appliances again. My recommendation is if you buy Samsung and need any support you are hosed! You will spend a lot of time on the phone with a moron that does not even know his products and wont know nor care what your problem is. He will read from a list of trouble shooting guides, which may be totally irrelevant to your specific problem. (i.e. your car wont start and the guy tells you to change the tire). One more thing, I asked the support guy for an order number and he told me he got an error code on his computer and could not give it to me. STAY, make that RUN, AWAY from this company!

Samsung RS267TDPN - Do your research before considering this model! I have owned mine barely 3 yrs and have had major problems with the freezer side two times. In both cases, the freezer side seized to cool properly. In this last round, the temperature was 25-40 degrees (f) and would not get any cooler which meant the ice maker also stopped working. The first problem was repaired while under warranty. For my current problem, I am now having to pay out of pocket to replace the evap temp sensor and the Heater sheath assembly due to burnt wires. These are part of the EVAP assembly and are located in the lower freezer section and behind a plastic panel thus I assume it to be a defect with the unit and not something that could have been caused by user neglect. I also owned a Samsung over-the-range microwave oven which failed prematurely therefore I now question the quality of Samsung kitchen appliances.

Three years ago we purchased new Samsung kitchen appliances (refrigerator, electric range, microwave). Two weeks ago our range started on fire. After many attempts to contact Samsung and empty promises to call us back, we were finally able to reach management. They offered to send out a technician to inspect the range even though we were past the 1 year warranty. The technician concluded there was an electrical issue and cleared us of any wrongdoing. While at our residence, the technician called Samsung to explain his findings along with sending them pictures of the damage. We were told that Samsung would contact us within 24-48 hours to let us know if they would offer any additional coverage.Samsung never called. We had to reach out to them multiple times with the same empty promises that someone would call us back. During one of the calls we were actually told that there was ‘physical damage’ and we were to blame. Well, of course there was physical damage given the electrical issue! So even though the technician they sent out cleared us of any wrongdoing, Samsung concluded that we were to blame and since the range was out of the 1 year warranty they would not provide any coverage. Samsung knew the range was past the warranty period prior to offering to send out a technician. Given that, why did they offer to send anyone out and waste two weeks of our time waiting for them to ‘review’ the situation and make a determination? And on a related note, the ice-maker on our refrigerator has not been working appropriately for the past couple of months. Seems there is a potential class action lawsuit on that front. Conclusion, the quality of Samsung kitchen appliances is not good, they clearly do not stand behind their products, and their customer service is absolutely horrible. Needless to say our new range purchase was not Samsung nor will we ever purchase Samsung products again. Buyer beware.

No more Samsung products for me!Updated on 12/28/2015: We found only two appliance technicians in our area who would work on a Samsung; one had to come 70 mi. one-way, and the other was Sears. The Sears technician quoted a price of nearly $900 to repair these two problems. The enamel was cracked and the metal below was showing in 3 areas. I asked if anyone else had reported this. After the CS rep investigated she returned and said no other complaints and it would not be anything they would address as the stove was 2 yrs old. That was all. I called customer relations and Gerardo informed me that the unit was out of warranty and he could schedule a repair at my cost. I informed him that this was our first Samsung appliance and having it break just over 2 years when we only warm up leftovers is not acceptable. I told him that we had a LItton counter top microwave which we had for over 20 years without any problems and sold it when we purchased this unit. He checked for any recalls and said that there were no issues similar to mine and I would have to have it repaired. I told him this would be the first and last Samsung product I will ever buy and I will tell my friend and relatives not to buy this crap. I bought my Samsung oven in June 2019. I self cleaned it a year later and everything seems to be working fine. I tried to self clean this year in September and all of a sudden it stopped in just about 20 minutes, then I tried to do it again and it stopped again. I tried it the next day but the same thing happen again. I got an error code that the fans are not cooling enough. I had to wait and still waiting this day for ABT to fix the problem. The biggest problem is not that, after I self cleaned this time I got a spot inside the oven that looks like a stain but its not. I tried to clean it but its getting bigger and bigger every time I touch it. By the way this happened after the self clean because I never had it before and it looks like as of the paint is starting to peel. The second problem that I have encountered with this range is that ever since I started using the middle burner, the paint started to peel around it as well. Just a reminder this is only 2 years old range.I called Samsung twice and they promised me that someone will come out to help me with the problem. They gave me one time complimentary warranty since the manufacturer warranty is only for 1 year. I also had to tell the customer service people that if there is nothing that they can do about it, dont waste my time and send someone here, and the guy told me, NO. They will be able to help you. A tech came out and looked at it and then he had to call his boss and show him what was happing to our oven and top of the stove, then guess what he tells me? I am sorry, but this is cosmetic and its not covered, and thats what I didnt want to hear. I was so frustrated, and pissed off. What a waste of my time.I called the customer service and the lady told me that she is sorry that this had happen to me and there is nothing anybody can do for me at this time. I have never in my life had such an experience, and had to write a bad review about any company. I used to think Samsung was good, not anymore. I dont recommend it for anyone to buy it. Samsung Refrigerator RF28HFEDBBC/AA- This refrigerator has problems with the ice maker. Ice builds up on the interior of the ice maker and has to be cleared at least once a month. The ice comes out wet and the dispenser in the door leaks water continuously. There is also a problem with water leaking into the bottom of the refrigerator and then freezing so you cannot easily pull out your meat drawer. Samsung claims no issues with the unit but from what I see on the internet that is not accurate.Attached is their response: Thank you for contacting Samsung. I see that the ice maker is not freezing, and ice builds up at the top of the unit and cubes come out wet. Also, the water is leaking and filling the reservoir in the door. I know how bothering this issue could be. Samsung does strive to produce quality products and provide best service. However, your experience doesnt reflect this. Samsung products are designed by dedicated and skilled engineers after extensive technical research. We dont have any reported issues with this refrigerator model. Its disheartening to know that you are experiencing these issues. We dont like to see our customers unhappy or inconvenienced; however, Samsung provides 12 months of warranty from the date of purchase. If your refrigerator is out of warranty, you have to pay for the service.A service request was filed for this issue and it was cancelled, as there was no service center available in your area. Since your refrigerator is out of warranty, you may get it repaired locally at your discretion. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. This is what I received from them. Interesting fact I already had the ice maker looked at during warranty and there is a service center in my area. So they dont support the product and dont know who they have in the area to repair the product. Do not buy Samsung refrigerators. No support.

Samsung fridge display went out. The repair tech said I would have to pay $650 to fix this fridge -- I am appalled! The fridge cost us $2500 and I see that going down the drain. Lowes where I bought the fridge was not helpful and neither was Samsung. I think these fridges should be recalled -- how many dissatisfied customers is it going to take to get this fridge removed from the market? As customers we should be compensated.

My microwave, purchased in late 2010 finally started showing the dreaded SE error message about two weeks ago. The device appeared to be getting phantom button presses (fortunately not the start button) and beeping until I pulled the power plug. Tried a few times to clean the flex cable connecting the keypad to the controller card, but now that only makes it functional for a day or two. Was amazed to see that this fragile connection spans 8+ years of production. Seeing that this has happened to so many others, makes me feel lucky that I got this much use out of it.

There arent enough characters allowed to explain why I would never buy anything Samsung ever again! The latest in a long nightmare of disgust (after the Blu-ray player that scratched circles in our discs and ruined them), is the fridge (RFG297HDRS) that decided to turn itself into a waterfall water feature in our kitchen overnight. Water was streaming rapidly from the ice maker exactly 15 months after purchase. Fortunately (well, maybe not) we got a store extended warranty because, Samsung itself told us good luck and Godspeed. The authorized Samsung repair people from the warranty company changed the ice maker and left. Two hours later and after business hours, the thing started leaking again (not as bad, but pretty bad once it started). Unrelated to Samsung, the morons at Warrantech wont let you put in a new call for service for 24 hours. Insult added to the injury of this regrettable purchase (all electronics and appliances in our new home are Samsung - I loved their monitors from 10 years ago, but that was when they were scrappy upstarts, not bloated Chinese wannabes), lesson learned. My advice is, avoid these and any store-branded warranty, since youll need it and both are total trash!

Bought the brand new RF22K9581SR refrigerator with the computer panel in the door. Paid over $5,000.00 for it and I have never seen anything that scratches so easily. It is a beautiful refrigerator but even the glass pressing against the water dispenser lever scratches it. Shows all traces of fingerprints. You would think for an appliances that costs over $5,000.00 they would pay attention to that. I called Samsung and the agent did not even care.

We bought our first new refrigerator in May of 2015, a Samsung French door model with a Flex drawer. It was the most expensive fridge we have ever bought and it has been VERY unreliable. Just after the first year we had our first problem with it... and since then we have spent close to $1000 on repairs. When I phoned Samsung, they just went in circles and said how sorry they were that I was frustrated. Our technician who fixed it each time said that 9 out of 10 fridges that he fixes are Samsung. Buyers beware: dont buy a Samsung.

We bought 1000 dollar Samsung 2 years ago. Only reason we replaced our 300 Maytag was because it was almond and we wanted stainless steel. We went to buy a Bosch but salesclerk said Samsung was better and quieter. So we listened. Im a person who still scrubs all my dishes before hand even though they say its not necessary. We called service and said dishes were still dirty. We tried putting in dirty dishes, different dish washing soap etc. our dishwasher. Every time you open it smells like someone died. When the tech came over he even commented on how new our dishwasher looked and he had no explanation. Its a piece of ** and a big waste of money. Dont buy a Samsung!

Samsung SMH9187ST - After about one and one half years of use, our OTR started beeping and having the SE error show up on the screen. Nothing works except the light inside the oven. We have tried unplugging it, etc and nothing has helped. It hasnt worked since the SE error has shown up and we paid good money for a product, and expected it to work longer than this. After doing some research, we found that many other people have had the same issue but this model has still not been recalled by Samsung, which is disappointing. This OTR is obviously garbage.

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher a little over a year ago from Best Buy. Within the year, the dishwasher began having issues. It would stop running and had flashing lights displayed. After terrible customer service and multiple delays, Samsung set me up with a warranty service provider who fixed the issue. Within two months, the same issue is happening. In contacting Samsung, they are advising that since its past the 1 year warranty, there is nothing they can do. Even though its the same issue they already had fixed. Additionally, they offer terrible customer service. I spoke with three different departments (most out of the country) for over an hour in total, only to get no resolution. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT - BEWARE.

I purchased a refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher. Its taken me 2 weeks to try to register for the 1 year warranty. They make it very difficult to register so they dont have to warranty your product. Read reviews of their appliances and youll know why. I tried to get verification that my range and microwave were warranted because initially they said I didnt have the receipt. The stove, frig & dishwasher were on the SAME receipt. The microwave was ordered online and they keep asking for the store location. If you go on their website, they make it very difficult to try to talk to someone about your warranty which is a clue they dont really want to warranty their appliances. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG.

The tray fills with water. The ice is made. The maker flips and twists the ice out of the holder. However, half the ice stays in the holder. The ice cracks leaving a little ice in each cube tray. RFG297AA/XAA - My wife purchased this fridge from Lowes 03/09/2009. We had a problem of water pooling and freezing the deli tray to freezer. I finally removed back panel to take a look at frozen coil. There is a drain so I am not sure why water is draining to interior of fridge. After reading comments this is definitely a common problem for Samsung fridges, but when speaking with customer service they do not seem to have any knowledge of problem.

I purchased a Samsung 30 inch 5 burner free standing 5.8-cubic ft free standing self cleaning convection gas range model # NX583G0VBSR from Lowes. The oven temp is off by 50-80 deg. I have had the probe replaced twice and the board replaced once. Every time after the new parts are installed it heats up to the right temp but takes 30 minutes to do so. But then the next time I go to use it, the problem reappears. I am out of warranty but the repairs were initiated while it was under warranty so you must ask for the warranty to be extended, also you must ask for parts and service. (1-800-726-7864) The first question they ask is if I have used the self clean feature, I have not. The tech also asked that question. I asked him if there was a problem with the self cleaning feature and he said there was and that the temp gets to high and destroys the probe, so I guess the self cleaning feature that I bought is no longer an option on my range. I now have another repair tech coming to replace the board and probe again. If this fails I am going to try to get the range replaced. I would not recommend a Samsung product as we have had repairs to our fridge and tablet. I thought these products were high quality but I guess I was wrong.

Every appliance is broken. They are less than three years old. My husband and I are retired and do not abuse or use these appliances everyday. Trying to get service has been a nightmare. Do not ever buy a Samsung appliance. Their customer service is terrible and their dishwasher works about 50% of the time. We are a household of 4 who use the dishwasher (model # DW80F600UTS/AA) once a day and load it sparingly, correctly, and with little soap. We have had a service person here 4 times since we bought it 7 months ago with an added extended warranty and they say they cannot correct the problem which is that the soap dispenser fails to open sometimes and other times opens but does not dispense the soap and other times works fine. They put in a new pump but that did not solve it. We have contacted Best Buy where we bought it. They turn us over to the appliance service they contract with. The appliance service says they cant do anything more. They turn us over to Samsung who says run it with no dishes in it and if it fails to open and dispense soap call us. But, we say, the problem exists 50% of the time, not 100%. Since we are still under factory one year warranty before the extended warranty kicks in, Samsung will charge us if they come out and cant locate a problem. We have spent hours and hours and hours on this. Would any of them be content with an appliance that fails to perform half the time?! I would also say that I will not buy anything else from Best Buy because they do not stand behind what they sell as soon as you are out the door, extended warranty or not. $801 spent on something that doesnt work right and they wont fix or replace.

I bought the NE58K9500SG, slide in range in Nov., I would like to report a safety issue. The knobs on the front are too easy to turn. My husband and I are constantly turning the stove top on by accident with our body while reaching to the back burners or the cabinet above the stove or the microwave. We have young grandchildren in the house from time to time and I am worried about it. While we were hanging a backsplash the stove top came on and we werent aware of it. I really dont know what to do about it and Im trying to adapt to it. I love the range but Im worried about the safety of it. I cant give this a higher rating because I feel its just a matter of time before something worse happens. I have contacted Samsung support to let them be aware of the design flaws and I will update my review when or if I hear back from them.

1. Purchased Samsung dishwasher (DW80R2031US/AA, SKU: 6336699) from Best Buy, at Reston, VA on 03/06/2020 with paid installation & haul away, installation kit, and gasket bundle. 2. Delivered on 03/10/2020. 3. Leaking problem being identified and fixed by Samsung service on 10/4/2020 with ticket# **. 4. Leaking issue occurred again in late May, 2021. Samsung offered one time accommodation service to cover labor and parts with ticket# **. 5. Technicians from TWO different service centers stopped by and claimed the fix can’t be done. The reason from the first technician was that the kitchen floor needs to be re-modeled in order to pull the dishwasher out. He also stated that it would take him 2 hours to fix the leaking problem and he had no sufficient time to do the work (which makes no sense?). When I mentioned that there was no issue with the kitchen floor during the instillation process and during the first time Samsung came over to fix the leaking issue on 10/4/2020, the technician had no response and left.6. Another technician from a different service center stopped by about one week later and claimed that the damage is not under Samsung’s manufacturer warranty. In addition, he couldn’t explain what the root cause of leaking was. The cost estimate to fix the leaking problem by the second technician was also outrageous. As a customer, we purchased a Samsung dishwasher, used it for about 6 – 7 months, then started having leaking problems. We tried to get this fixed, but the leaking problem occurred again after about 14 months. Samsung then told the customer to contact the technician directly to get problem fixed, all at the customer’s own cost. I have dishwashers made by other manufacturers at my other properties and they still work great. It is worth noting that some of these non-Samsung dishwashers have been working for 15 years.

Samsung top freezer RT21M62135R, nominally 21 cubic feet, is fairly capacious. Unfortunately the lighting in the refrigerator section is front mounted and everything in the rear disappears into the shadows - keep a flashlight handy. The freezer also has a light, something my prior refrigerator did not have. I really like the slide and reach shelf for deli type items - very convenient. The door storage is a bit inflexible. I ordered the model without an ice maker, they shipped it to me anyway despite my attempt to stop it, which they ignored (customer service in the US is impossible to contact - they switched me to Indonesia (sic)! (Consider that I bought this model for energy efficiency, then they ship something I do not want - pure waste.) Even though they took the door off, the delivery service still managed to put eight dents in the door - too easy to dent.

I have owned a Samsung French door, bottom freezer, model RF197ACWP for a year and a half and have had pooling of water under and inside the crispers and a layer of ice forming in the bottom of the freezer. This is apparently a common problem with this model, a manufacturing defect. I have never experienced any issues with any refrigerators I have owned in such a short period of time. The last refrigerator I owned lasted 15 years without problems and the one before that 20 years! Also, just after a year with this inferior product, the white door handles started to peel, exposing polished chrome or steel. I thought the cosmetic damage was the worst of my complaints! Little did I know. I will not consider buying Samsung products again, as its customer service is unresponsive in addressing complaints.

Samsung customer service is polite, contrite, and totally inept. I have now called 6 times to try to get burner caps (the little metal discs that go on top of the gas burner that make it work). The stove was delivered without them. The first time I called, the representative was so sorry and would send the missing parts in 2-3 weeks (!?). Meanwhile, I dont have a stove that works. I received the package after a couple of weeks and it contained 2 microwave or oven vent grates. So I called again. Representative was so sorry and would send the correct parts out in overnight express. I got the package, and it was 2 of the actual gas burners (which I already had) and the 2 larger burner caps.So now I have 2 burners that work, and 2 vent grates I dont need, and 2 gas burners that I dont need. So. I called again. Same thing. So sorry, send those right out. Never got anything. I called again. And again. And again. Seriously. Everytime I get an apology and a promise and then nothing arrives. ARGGG. How hard can it be???? And I still only have 2 working burners on a brand new range, over 4 months after installing it.
