On July 2016 I purchase all my kitchen appliances from Samsung at Best Buy. Unfortunately its not a year of purchase and I had a very bad experience which I believe its not fair for any consumer. First, they advertises that the appliances are stainless steel, which is not. It is hard to clean. On the range side the flat top is also hard to clean and it scratches easily, which it shouldnt happen due to the fact that that is a every day use item with multiple use. I dont accept the fact that they are saying that it is cosmetic and also is tear and wear before a year of purchase. I live alone and barely cook for this to happen. Im very disappointed with this product and the way that they handle and washes off the responsibility of the quality of their products. This is not an item that costs $100 or less we are speaking of an item that the price is over a $1,000. Unfortunately according to them there is nothing to be done.

Samsung SMH2117S microwave - Samsung refused after various escalations to repair the SE- error code that made the OTR microwave go crazy. The fan initially kept turning itself on and off constantly, then would show the error code and die. Unplugging it and plugging it back in would briefly fix the issue, but then it just croaked for good. Just a few months out of warranty (of course), and now, for purely the principle, would join a CA lawsuit against Samsung despite the unlikely odds of that happening. Like most others here, we are adding Samsung (and Sony) to the list of god-awful businesses from which we will NEVER again purchase.

First the ice maker froze up and then just quit working and I had to pay over $200 to replace it. Then the shelves on the French door began to break into many pieces... just exploded and dumped everything on the floor. I had to replace two of them. Now less than 1 month later one of the replacement shelves has broken into pieces again. Also, the plastic on the vegetable drawer has now decayed into pieces.

I bought a 4 piece package consisting of Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Stove and Microwave. The Microwave was delivered with a scratch down the front. It will take 8 weeks to re-order. The Dishwasher requires a special water valve that ONLY Samsung sells separately. ie: You need a Samsung installer to deal with the issue since Home Depot, Lowes and local hardware stores have never seen this type of valve. The stove top blister after the first time. After a visit from their tech people they stated.... Thats the way it works and its normal. So after three meals, the top burners look like its 15 years old. Its a piece of crap. Dealing with their customer service is a joke. The only word they know is NO.

In March of 2015 my wife and I bought a Samsung 22.5 cu. ft French Door Refrigerator and the Samsung Protection Plus Plan. This refrigerators initial cost was $2,498.40 and the Protection Plus Plan cost was approximately $700. Beginning in late June 2017 the ice maker began to develop problems making ice cubes and finally just made watered slushy ice. I called the Samsung phone number listed on the Protection Plus contract 1-800-726-7864 and explained the problem. First problem was I could barely understand the staff person I was speaking to. Secondly I further explained I had the extended protection plan and needed service. I was given a repair ticket number and told I would be contacted within 48 hours. I received a call from a service company that Samsung contacted and was told there was a charge to come out and then additionally a charge for the repair. I was told their company did not accept the Samsung Protection Plan and to call Samsung back. It should be noted in my area there are VERY few repair companies that accept the Samsung Protection Plus Plan or even want to service their refrigerators. I was told by a repairman parts are very difficult to get. Subsequently I once again called Samsung and once again explained I need my refrigerator serviced under the Protection Plan. I will not go into detail of how many times I had to call Samsung which took a month to finally get the refrigerator supposedly repaired in late July 2017. However, even after the service repair the ice maker still does not function properly. It is now early August 2017 and I once again called Samsung and explained to their staff the ice maker still is not working properly. I once again was given a repair ticket number and once again was contacted by the same company that wanted to charge for a service call. I did some research and found the phone number to Samsung Protection Plus Tech Support. I called that number and explained the problem and am still awaiting a call from the company that performed the last service repair. In conclusion, I would NEVER BUY ANY SAMSUNG APPLIANCE having experienced firsthand the quality of their product. Additionally, their Samsung Protection Plus Plan is a serious JOKE and is a total waste of money. I plan on submitting for a refund of the money we paid for the protection plan which is possible per information within the contract.

We bought a package deal at Best Buy in December 2016 - a Samsung dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave and slide in double oven. In one years time, 3 of the 4 appliances have broken and need expensive parts. However, the gas slide in range is by far the worst product (NX58K9850). After using the self cleaning feature for the first time, the oven over-heated and door locked. We have to pay $400 to replace the control board to get it to work again. After seeing so many similar complaints, I cant believe there isnt a recall on this oven. We will NEVER buy a Samsung appliance again. Wish I had seen this site Before I made my purchase!

We wanted an additional oven to supplement our regular oven; this Samsung fit the bill because it's a convection oven that can roast and even grill meats such as chicken that can sometimes be hard to cook thoroughly without the meat becoming too dry or tough. At 1.1 cu ft it might be a tight fit for Perdue Oven Stuffer chicken or anything larger, otherwise it does its job well. Our microwave is 1700 watts, more than enough for any task from soup to popcorn to roasts, and we saw that Lowe's has our oven, model MC11K7035CG, currently on sale for $299 as of July 3.

It is obvious that Samsung fridges have critical design problems. Those of us foolish enough to buy one know futile and frustrating it is to do with this company. The thing is now to spread the word to others so they dont make the same mistake. I posted an ad for the fridge in Craigslist under the title Samsung Sucks. I know it wont sell, but its a pretty effective way of spreading the word about this company and maybe, with any luck, it will cost them a few sales.

I paid good money for it but it is cheaply made, the plastic on the doors crack easily and the outside dents with the slightest touch! On top of everything else in the short amount of time Ive had it, the refrigerator side is currently not working! My refrigerator is at 59 and my food is spoiling as I wait for repairman to come. I guess I should have read the reviews on this dishwasher before purchase; however, I relied on the good name of Samsung. Boy was I wrong! I purchased my dishwasher in March of 2014. In December, was getting the error codes. I called the repair warranty center and they came right out and fixed it. I was happy and impressed. Despite the fact that the dishwasher constantly smelled awful… it worked. By April 2015, I was getting the same error code. Samsung refused to stand behind their product. This is obviously a major problem with this unit with the numerous complaints and we know that this is just the tip of the iceberg! Shame on you Samsung for not addressing this problem fairly. You have really taken advantage of the consumer and that is disgraceful. I had to throw away a dishwasher that was only 13 months old because it cost more to fix than to buy a new one. WARNING to all who are considering this purchase - DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

I will likely never purchase Samsung home appliances as they have been unreliable, service technicians do not recommend, and my dealings with the manufacturer have been severely delayed, unresponsive, and unhelpful. I purchased my home 3 years ago in which the investor renovated inclusive of purchasing new home appliances. In 2020 my fridge went out, within the warranty timeframe. For 4 weeks, Samsung could not get a tech to come and service my refrigerator so they decided to provide me with a refund. I was never verbally informed by the manager to keep my fridge. I sent in my documentation and was told after my fridge was hauled away that I was supposed to keep the fridge. Customer support has been horrible, for months Ive tried resolving this issue. Samsung is not honoring the refund and I am out a grand as I replaced the appliance out of my personal funds. Ill never buy Samsung and will definitely tell my networks and other real estate constituents to stay away from these home appliances.

I am being fair and accurate. I bought a Samsung electric stove at Lowes in Henderson, KY about 5/6 years ago. I know you are thinking this has been a long time ago but the oven only lasted about 6 months and I cant afford to have it worked on it any more. I paid for it with a credit card so the original price of $850.00 was probably more like $1200.00. When it first quit working Lowes told me they had no records of me buying it there. I paid for it with a credit card and I find that hard to believe they had no records. Lowes has never been at my home to work on the piece of junk. I say junk and that is exactly what it is. I would not advise anyone to buy a Samsung and to make sure you keep all your records on what you buy at Lowes. Today is Thanksgiving and another year of not being able to cook my own turkey. Christmas is coming up soon and it will be the same way. I wish I had an oven for everyday use. I am like most people these days. I dont have the money to run out and buy another new one. HAPPY THANKSGIVING everyone!

WHEN I moved into my home, there was a Samsung dishwasher, brand-new. This was almost 4 years ago. My hope by writing this is to educate consumers about my experience. It was non-stop issues from the first month. Over the years, I replaced the pump. I had a number of repairmen out, who each time took a look at the dishwasher and laughed. They all told me it was a hunk of junk and dont waste money on it. Over the 4 years I spent over $800 on repairs. Now, it broke again. I have replaced it with a Frigidaire. I am very easy on my appliances, I ran it about 3-4 times per week. I used the best detergents only. I scrape dishes thoroughly. My things last me many many years. This did not last me at all - as I was contacting repair people the entire 4 years. I fear I have other Samsung appliances that were here when I moved in. I have heard from too many in the appliance industry as to the track record of Samsung appliances. I wish to educate potential consumers as to my experience, the money incurred - the waste.I should also mention I contacted Samsung a few times. They could not care less. Besides not speaking English properly so communication was limited - truth is - they could not care less. The only good that could come out of this is I save other consumers fortunes of money. We all work very hard for it - and clearly others could not care less how they squander it for us. There is also no price that could be placed on the HOURS I invested in trying to salvage it. Please, buyer beware.

My compressor went bad after 3 months after purchase. They will not replace, only fix. Already it has been 1 week with no refrigerator and lost money with spoiled food. It took a service tech 1 week to come out and see whats wrong with it. This is frustrating, to spend so much money for a product and for it to break so fast. I know things happen but do the right thing. Now to replace the compressor it will take 3 hours to do and another week for a service tech to come. FRUSTRATING.

Samsung top freezer RT21M62135R, nominally 21 cubic feet, is fairly capacious. Unfortunately the lighting in the refrigerator section is front mounted and everything in the rear disappears into the shadows - keep a flashlight handy. The freezer also has a light, something my prior refrigerator did not have. I really like the slide and reach shelf for deli type items - very convenient. The door storage is a bit inflexible. I ordered the model without an ice maker, they shipped it to me anyway despite my attempt to stop it, which they ignored (customer service in the US is impossible to contact - they switched me to Indonesia (sic)! (Consider that I bought this model for energy efficiency, then they ship something I do not want - pure waste.) Even though they took the door off, the delivery service still managed to put eight dents in the door - too easy to dent.

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher in 2013 from Lowes. Initially it worked fairly well, however, just like everyone else that has purchased this model, error codes such as E9 started in less than 6 months of use. I watched the videos online and can now take it apart like a professional. Now it is broken again, in a new and inventive way. The rubber parts inside have become soft and need to be replaced. STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG APPLIANCES! In 2015, we installed Samsung appliances in our kitchen in conjunction with an extensive remodel. Worse move we ever made. Boy do I wish we could turn back the clock. The dishwasher failed 2 months after we installed it, and we literally had to give up our first-born child to get a replacement unit even though it was still within the 1 year warranty. Next, the element in the oven failed (3 times to date) as well as the control board which set us back $250. The microwave has always had a mind of its own, and will often beep and turn lights on and off during the middle of the night. Since it still seems to work, we are leaving it alone. Finally, the ice-maker in the refrigerator door freezes up and causes a mess, and needs to be defrosted once a month. Apparently, this is a very common problem with Samsung refrigerators. Another reason to stay away from this product. Amazingly enough, we contacted Samsung no less than 10 times regarding these issues and the response has always been your appliances are out of warranty, too bad so sad. If you are planning on purchasing Samsung appliances, I would highly recommended you do your research first and go with another brand! I for one will NEVER buy their products again.

We bought a Samsung refrigerator, model RS2630SH and have had multiple problems with it. Like many others who have reviewed Samsung refrigerators, ours too leaves water and ice at the bottom of the unit. You have to get a rubber hammer sometimes to dislodge it. Unfortunately for me, I didnt read reviews prior to making my purchase. We bought a 4-piece appliance group at a Black Friday event at a local retailer. I hadnt had an ice maker working in my previous fridge for 5-6 years on a 21 year old product. So, needless to say, I was tickled to finally have new appliances with a working ice maker! We had the appliances delivered and hooked up around the first of the year. Within a month and a half the ice maker quit working. We put in a service call and waited. Within about week and a half the technician arrived and swapped out the entire ice maker components. Working again! Apparently, the water line didnt line up right within the unit and the overspray of water iced up the unit eventually.About a month later, same thing happened. Put in a service call, complained about our unit being a lemon and needing to be replace. Sorry sir, we have to have at least 2 service calls before we consider replacing a unit. After waiting for almost a month, technician arrives, replaces all the ice unit components again. Working again! And, the technician said Ill be coming back as he was leaving. Hummm.About 3 months later, the unit completely stopped making ice. Once again, Ive called the customer service, complaining about my unit being a lemon needing to be replaced. Here I am two weeks after that call. No ice, no calls within 24-48 hours which is how everything happens at Samsung apparently. My case was given to a validation group, and Id be getting a call from an Executive in 24-48 hours.8 days later, I get a call this morning from an Executive. She wasnt there to soothe my concerns but rather to inform me that my issue had been sent to a review board. And, they would be contacting me in 48-72 hours... Oh crap! Also during this conversation I was informed that my 1-year warranty was NOT a product warranty but rather a SERVICE warranty, and that they will likely be sending a technician out again for another service and there was NO guarantee they would be considering the replacement of my product. Despite raising my blood pressure and me speaking my disapproval, she ups her attitude, and goes rude on me and we get nowhere. Oh, sir, you can purchase an extended warranty... And there my friends is the scam. Samsungs product is crap. Samsungs customer service is horrendous, unless you like banging your head on the wall and getting nowhere... In 24-48 hours.I should not have to Google up how to unfreeze a Samsung ice maker on a brand new unit! Be careful to read your warranty, its not a replacement warranty, its a service warranty... Service their way to the 1-year expiration, and wash their hand of you. Unless of course, you spend more money and buy an extended warranty. Do yourself a huge favor. RFG237AARS purchases 2/2013. I have a Samsung Range and Dishwasher and havent had any issues with those appliances, but this refrigerator is definitely a lemon. There are quite a few Youtubers out there showing the icing problem. They are chiseling ice blocks off the fridge. The fridge starts making an annoying sound which happens to be the twin cooling fan system hitting the ice. Thats not right. Its disappointing that Samsung is not addressing the issue. I have been able to care for mine periodically and unthaw it from time to time, but its definitely a feature Samsung isnt being upfront about. I’m sure at some point the fan will break because of the issue. I can only imagine what expenses they would try to push onto the consumer(me), and given the age of the refrigerator it isnt worth a $500 repair bill. It doesnt sound like people are having much luck with repair(s) either. Some report multiple repairs yet they still have a dud afterwards.

My Samsung refrigerator model RF323TEDBSR french door was the best Samsung had to offer. It is nearly 4 yrs old now. From about one year to present it has had freezing up issues in the refrigerator section. After numerous attempt to remedy this issue with Samsung, they just keep giving me the same runaround telling me to level the fridge and set the temperatures as they recommend. I have done this diligently every time, however it is not getting better but worse. They are willing to send out a technician at my cost most likely to do the same thing I have been doing and then tell me its working. One month later I will be defrosting my fridge much like people were doing in the 50s.After doing a little online searching I have found that my problem is not unique. Many other happy Samsung owners are experiencing the same issues across many different models. Apparently there is a bad design with the defrosting system. SAMSUNG does not want to own up to it. I can kinda understand their side considering all the troubles they have had with many of their products such as the washing machine blowing up (we have them as well) and the phones catching on fire. WARNING, dont buy SAMSUNG refrigerators.

We bought this dishwasher February 1 of last year and it failed February 3rd of this year - two days after the warranty expired. I am absolutely furious in part because it barely lasted 1 year and that I just mailed my last payment. Samsung support was absolutely no help other than to contact a local repair person. The repair people graciously offered me a price of $150.00 to diagnose this POS plus parts. Japanese companies used to be committed to quality but obviously not when it comes to appliances. Id love to send this unit to their corporate headquarters with a letter telling them exactly how I feel about their product. We also purchased a refrigerator at the same time and as you can imagine, Im praying its made better than their dishwashers. I now have a beautiful piece of junk. Ill be looking for a different manufacturer and will NEVER buy anything Samsung again. This is my first and LAST purchase of their products. Ive been looking at their televisions but considering this purchase I will pass. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME!!!

My refrigerator is 4 yrs old and I will never buy another Samsung. It is a documented problem with the overflow valve in the ice maker but they will not do anything about it, I can replace it for $950. No thank you! The fans in the back panel froze up due to the ice maker problem and I had to have a repairman replace them to the tune of $400. They may have fixed the newer models but where is the customer service for previous customers? An allowance or some type of prorated cost adjustment should be made!

I just became aware of the class action lawsuit related to the faulty ice maker unit in my refrigerator. My model isnt explicitly listed, however it does state the list isnt limited to those units. I purchased from Lowes 01/07/2017 for $1805.01. I purchased (thankfully) the extended warranty as well. We dealt with the noise forever; weve had 4 service calls thus far for complete inoperability. Most recently phoned 6/4/21. First avail 6/18; ordered parts; returned 6/25 to complete. Never worked, and is now displaying error codes. Next avail 7/5 to fix. I realize I am fortunate to have the extended warranty but it runs out in 6 months; then Im stuck with a faulty fridge. I am hoping Samsung will do the right thing and pay out for those of us dealing with this problem.

My Samsung fridge quit cooling at 8 months old. I called Samsung for a repair and they fixed it after 3 repair companies coming out. The first two weren’t qualified to repair sealed system units. Finally got the sealed system replaced and it failed 30 days later. I spent countless hours on the phone with Samsung trying to get a refund. After four months with a too warm fridge, and 4-5 hours a week on the phone with Samsung, sending documentation over and over as they continually “lost” documents emailed and faxes, I finally got my refund. After all my haggling, I discovered that tens of thousands have had the same experience with Samsung.

Wish I read these reviews before I bought. Will never buy any Samsung product again... We purchased a dw80j3020 dishwasher in Oct 2016 and it stopped draining water in late Nov 2016. After a call to Samsung, a tech was sent to repair it. He informed us that the pump looked used and needed to be replaced. This product was purchased new and no other work was done so the defected part had to come from the factory. Samsung has refused to replace or repair the product. I have called the office of the president and still the answer I got was a resounding no... Again stay away from all Samsung products.

We purchased this dishwasher at Lowes in July 2012. Earlier this year it stopped running and gave an 5E code. We looked it up in our manual and it said drain error. We checked everything and could not clear the code. We tried the cancel & drain to no avail. We ended up pulling everything out and scooping all the water out. We had a plumber come over and he checked all the drains/hoses etc. and found nothing. He then called Samsung and told them he thought it was the electrical panel and they would not tell him anything since he was not an authorize Samsung repair person. Unfortunately around this time my mom went into hospice care so hand washing dishes was going to have to suffice. My mother passed away in the summer. By late August I started contacting Samsung to get an authorized service person to come out. What a nightmare. I had to call a couple of times to get someone on the phone who would even help me. They will not give you the local persons number. I was finally given a ticket number and a phone number to call for Service Quick. This was a long distance call for me. They then said they would have a local person call with a quote and set up an appointment. So finally 6 days later I got a voice message. I returned the call now at least 4 times (another long distance number) which nobody answers the phone. It does not say the company name or anything, just a standard automated at the beep please leave a message. In the meantime I went in the phone book and called a local appliance repair person. They took the whole thing apart and told me it looked like the pump was out and possibly the electrical panel and that it looked like the parts would be about $350. That is half of what this thing cost! They suggested I just buy a new dishwasher. That in their experience the Samsung are a lot of trouble and expensive to repair. They were very nice and only charged me for a short service call. I am very frustrated. Every time I talked to a Samsung person I was asked did you purchase the extended warranty?. That is ridiculous! A dishwasher should not need an extended warranty for something not even two years old! It is now September 9th and I Still have not spoken to anyone on the repair side! I dont have money lying around to just literally throw down the drain on new appliances. But I think that is what is going to happen. I will Never buy a Samsung appliance again!

After I called and left a message and waited 2 days. Another week for the appointment. The service tech never called to confirm and I waited all day. We purchased our Samsung Dishwasher from Best Buy in February of 2014 as part of a 4 appliance suite for our kitchen remodel. BIG MISTAKE! We did not buy the extended warranty through Best Buy. The dishwasher started to fail (would not complete the cycle) in February of 2015. It was still barely under warranty so Samsung sent VA Electronics out to repair this problem. Worked until Sept 2015 when the same issue came back and the front door started to leak. Had to pay VA Electronics $99 to come back out to repair the problem, but it just started leaking again! I purchased several Samsung kitchen appliances from Lowes in July of 2011.
I purchased several Samsung kitchen appliances from Lowes in July of 2011. They are very attractive to look at. However, not quite two years after purchase I noticed the back wall of the refrigerator was icing up. I checked to make sure the items in the refrigerator were spaced well and not blocking the vents where it was icing up. After a number of attempts to stop this action, I called Lowes. I was told that since I had not purchased the extended warranty, I was out of luck. They did send an appliance repairman out who looked in the refrigerator and called Samsung Tech Support. I was told the advice given by Samsung was that I should unplug the refrigerator and leave it thaw out completely, then plug it back in and it should be fine. I wasnt happy about this solution and called Lowes who told me that I was encouraged to purchase the extended warranty when I purchased the appliance (evidently they knew something about Samsung appliances that I didnt). I was told that unless I followed the instructions from Samsung there was nothing they (Lowes) could do to help. I did as I was told, thereby losing $$$ worth of food I had purchased for expected guests. When I plugged the refrigerator back in, it worked...for two days. Started frosting up again. I called Samsung. They sent out a repairman, 10 days later. He looked at it, said he had to order parts. He would call when they came in. Its now approximately 3 weeks after discovering the problem. I waited another week to hear from the repairman, finally called and was told part just came in. Repairman came out 3 days later to fix the problem. He installed the part. Refrigerator worked for 2 days. Now would not cool below 66 degrees. I called Samsung. Repairman could not come out for 3 days. He was heavily scheduled. Ill bet he was...all with defective refrigerators. Finally he came out and said there was another part on the thermostat that was defective. He had seen it the first time but it appeared fine. $325.00 repair bill and over $300.00 worth of spoiled food, restaurant bills with guests, and finally the refrigerator works. The whole issue left me with 6 weeks of no refrigeration. Samsung said they would reimburse me for up to $200 worth of food. Ive submitted the necessary papers and documents 3 times...still no reimbursement. DONT BUY SAMSUNG REFRIGERATORS!!! YOU WILL SURELY REGRET IT!!!

Samsung said it was damage and I did not take the precautions to protect it. The only thing I could have done is not use water in my home. I had two different repairmen out. They both said this is a common problem with Samsung refrigerators. Samsung and Lowe’s know this is a problem but do not advise buyers with well water to beware. Samsung customer service towed the company line and said it was my fault and took no responsibility for cheap parts. My last refrigerator lasted over 15 years sitting in the same spot. To Tim Baxter or anyone else that cares about Samsungs reputation and how their terrible customer service and falsely advertised products, dont settle well with the consumer. I am at my wits end with your company and its appalling customer service! For 4 months now Ive tried to get your company to take ownership for a refrigerator it sold us, that claimed to offer a Flex Zone with 4 temp settings, all the way down to -1 Celsius. Tim, we both went to High-school at took basic science classes, but the techs and people in your Office of the President all seem to have either not taken the class or failed it. My wife and I have had food spoiling in that drawer for months, because it will NOT freeze as it should given that 0 degrees Celsius is freezing, therefore anything colder that zero is at least capable of freezing. Well nothing freezes in that drawer. Ive had 3 service people come out, who all are being told the same thing from Samsung that I am being told, which is that the refrigerator works as it should. Tim, please explain to me how its working as it should when food does not freeze in a drawer that offers a -1 degree Celsius setting. Your office of the president, at 888-480-5675 and Loshanda at extension **, has ignored 7 messages I have left for her with the receptionist, and two voicemails. She literally has decided to blow me off. The last time she called me, before Thanksgiving, she told me that Mr. ** its not supposed to freeze, since -1 degrees Celsius is also 29 degrees Fahrenheit, therefore its 29 degrees above freezing... I was without a reply for a few minutes. How do you politely tell a person that they dont know that Celsius and Fahrenheit both measure temperatures, and that -1 Celsius and 29 Fahrenheit are the same below freezing temperature. After Loshandas obvious failure to care to call me back anymore, because she believes its working fine, I called and asked for a supervisor in your Office of the President. Ive been told twice there is no such thing, that I just have to leave a message for Loshanda to call me back. I’ve done that once a week for 7 weeks. I’m exhausted and utterly disgusted with the horrible service from your company. I dont know which is worse, that your techs believe -1 degrees Celsius is not supposed to freeze the food, or that your Office of the Preside could care less at this point, after my wife and I have lost hundreds of dollars in food that has gone bad, Ive wasted hours with techs coming out telling me the same thing, and more hours on the phone talking to your general Samsung support line that offers no help but to suggest I have yet another tech come out, who will waste all our time again. Tim, my wife and I own thousands of dollars in merchandise from you all, from phones, to BluRay players, to TVs etc. Is this how I should be treated? I want Loshanda at least reprimanded or at best fired, and I want and deeply hope for your help in resolving this matter. Your refrigerator does not do as it was sold to do, its that simple. And I need this fixed. Please Tim. Ive left voicemails for others in your Office of the President, they too have ignored me.

Luckily, we purchased a home warranty, and they fixed it. Then, the freezer fan is squealing. He was able to grease that out as well. Now, the freezer was freezing up again. Its something about the defroster cycle not working. I had to get a new motherboard. Also, the ice maker stopped working, and I had to replace the ice-making unit. This is a bad product. I purchased a Samsung refrigerator in 2016. I have since had to manually defrost the coil and fan three times and as I am writing this, the fan is running noisily and tomorrow I will have to pull off the back panel behind the shelves and defrost it yet again with a hairdryer because this build up keeps the refrigerator from cooling. I am a disabled man living mostly on a fixed income. The refrigerator cost roughly $3000 which took me a year to pay off. I called customer service and the rep told me that he could do nothing about it. I asked to speak to his supervisor to see what recourse I had if any and was met with extreme hostility. He outright refused to resolve my issue or offer anything helpful. Samsung needs to teach its people what professional customer service looks like. I did not appreciate the condescending tone of their customer support agents. I also work for the largest home goods and building material retailer in the United States and have actively informed customers not to purchase any Samsung appliance until they improve the quality of their product and customer support. I would suggest that others provide the same service to family and friends who need to spend their hard earned money on a new appliance. Recently, we needed a new dishwasher and purchased a GE which my wife and I are very pleased with. Presently, we will never buy any Samsung product whether it be a household appliance, phone, tablet, TV or anything else. After the “convenient” freezer door handle, being only supported through plastic, broke off for the second time and after having manually defrosted the fan, coil, and heating element for the third time in two weeks, I bit the bullet and bought a new fridge. It seems you have to purchase the entire freezer drawer to fix one plastic piece. By the way, the Whirlpool I purchased has performed great with all the features of the Samsung for about 40% less cost. I have just finished writing a rather lengthy letter to the consumer protection agency documenting the numerous issues and failed CS conversations. I advise anyone thinking of doing the same be sure to document all calls (i.e. date, time, rep name, etc.). Take pictures with your phone of all visible issues including the rust spots your stainless probably has because of its apparent poor quality. I am hopeful someone may read this who can help...

We replaced all of our kitchen appliances (Refrigerator, dishwasher, gas range, microwave) with Samsung appliances in Dec 2016. We reviewed the CR book and thought we picked a good one. Should have looked on here first. The ice maker froze up on Christmas Eve and then again in mid-January. We bought the 28 cu ft french door with bottom freezer. The ice maker is inside the refrigerator. The water leaks down behind the ice bucket and freezes around the mechanisms. It wont dispense ice and makes a loud knocking noise. The ice bucket is also nearly impossible to get out when this happens. We called Samsung for support and all 3 (yes 3) calls were handled horribly. They dont support their products or have a care in the world about providing customer service. The only way to resolve the issue... remove everything from the freezer and refrigerator and defrost it. This appears to be an ongoing issue and I am not looking forward to owning this refrigerator for the years I expected to. I understand appliances sometimes have issues and my 1-star rating of the appliance is largely geared towards the awful customer service provided by Samsung. This is an expensive item that I ensured had a warranty when I purchased it. I expect it to work and if it doesnt work properly and is under warranty I expect it to be repaired. Buyer beware.

So we purchased our Samsung oven in Dec. of 2016 and did not have it delivered due to construction until May 31st 2017 and not installed until June, (was told by Best Buy salesman that warranty did not start until the delivery date, which was a lie) so two days ago when going to cook something for lunch the oven would not heat. Nothing. Nada!!! It hasnt been hooked up a year yet. Called Samsung and no help. Nothing. We are stuck having to pay to have it repaired or try to do it ourselves. Bought over 2000 dollars worth of Samsung appliances that day and no help from Best Buy or Samsung whatsoever. So mad!!! How can a stove go out that fast? Its not even used daily. Never again and I will tell everyone I know not to buy Samsung appliances. Just waiting for the Fridge to go next!!!

Same thing, different person. Fridge Model RF217ACRS, manufactured in 2011. Problem started in 2014. Samsung refuses to pay for repair even though original chat transcript with Samsung Support inferred they will stand behind their product, after creating a ticket for me even though the fridge was out of warranty. Problem Description: Fridge coils freezing up, causing fan to rub on ice making a loud noise. Defrosted it multiple times, problem comes back within a week or 2. A&E Services wanting to charge $361 for the repair of what they claim is a $12 sensor. A&E Factory Services tech also told me that this is the cause of 90% of the problems reported regarding Samsung refrigerators. My guess... A&E and any other Samsung Authorized Service Center is being paid off by Samsung to cover-up the actual fault, which may lie with the evaporator, as if the water is drained/evaporated correctly, should not build up as ice on the coils, in my unprofessional opinion. Keep in mind, the evaporator is covered under the Samsung 5-year warranty, but the $12 sensor is not, and their repair techs will charge you out the *you know what* ($360) to replace it. I will never buy another Samsung device as long as I live, and I will steer all my friends and family away from them.

From the day it was installed about a year ago, it leaks badly under the door during the first cycle. It never cleans the dishes well and always leaves funk all over for me to scrape off after. I might as well hand wash! Now the unit will not complete cycle. I have taken it apart a zillion times to clean and inspect. What a piece of **. Locally we have a tire store called Discount Tire. In their TV ad they show a little old lady throwing a tire through their front window and the ad says if youre not satisfied.... bring it back. I wonder what it would sound like when I throw this dishwasher through Lowes front window?

I have been searching the net reading all the negative things said about my less than a year old fridge. Mine also freezes inside the back panel, makes so much noise I cant watch TV. So, once again in less than a week I have to defrost it. I wish I had seen these reviews first. I have a Samsung TV, fridge, dishwasher, gas range and microwave. None of them have been what I expected or hoped for. Glad I bought a GE washer and dryer!

My Samsung refrigerator is 3 years and 2 months old exactly. It stopped making ice this week. I went online and followed directions on how to hit the reset button. Nothing happened so I called Samsung Support. They asked me to hit the reset button again. Nothing happened, so they opened a ticket and told me I would have to pay $80 to have a tech diagnose the problem. There was no further attempt at phone troubleshooting. The tech showed up and asked me to power cycle the unit by turning off the breaker and turning it back on. The ice machine immediately dumped ice. If the FIRST PERSON I talked to did their job and SUGGESTED I POWER CYCLE the unit, I WOULDN’T BE OUT $80!!! I am infuriated.

Ive come from a string of GE refrigerators that always seemed to disappoint me in one way or another. Most of the problems were related to not holding the desired temperature in both refrigerator and freezer compartments. I also experienced problems with excess moisture in the freezer compartment and ice makers/ice water dispensers that never worked properly. The water dispenser always froze up unless I raised the temperature to an unsafe level. Very poor design. The Samsung French door unit has worked perfectly for about 1 1/2 years, but it does make a lot of strange noises. So far this appears to be a quality unit that works as expected.

It has lots of space in the freezer and the main part of the fridge. It looks great and fits our needs. I like the door you can open for just small things so you dont have to open the main door of the fridge and let all the cold air out. Couldnt be happier with it.

Own a Samsung SMH9187ST microwave. In part picked from a Consumer Report rating. Thoroughly disappointed. Has been nothing but trouble. First the rack that came with the unit, caused an arcing/burning inside the unit - had to throw the rack out. Then the Magnetron failed (wouldnt heat), after much arguing with Samsung, they finally sent someone to replace it. Then had another issue with the unit functioning (of course just past the 1 year warranty part); had to replace the sensors at the door (my cost). Then we get the SE error - the remedies online dont work, so, only solution to replace the entire control panel?? This is an extremely poor design. SAMSUNG should not have sold this design. Third appliance of theirs that has been a major disappointment. I will never buy SAMSUNG again.

DO NOT waste your time and money. Samsung appliances are worst and their customer service is even worst than their service. The dishwasher came faulty from the company and we used for 1 time only and we reported that. They cant fix it so they decided to replace it. However they have unit to sell on website but not to replace (which doesnt make sense at all). So they offered me a refund what I paid and I dont want that as they are selling the same unit 200 more than what I paid and havent used that unit even. Also, they said the warranty start from the date of purchase and not when it got delivered.

All I can say is that I wish I had read reviews on Samsung refrigerators before I purchased mine. Ive owned Samsung TVs and smart phones that are all exceptional and I thought the same would be true with Samsung appliances but I was dead wrong. Brand new refrigerator model # RF263BEAESG - only 6 months old - started leaking water out of the left side top where electrical wires are coming out of the top of refrigerator. Contacted Samsung. They created a repair ticket. After five days and no one showed up I called the service company only to go to voice mail. Call Samsung back and they give the service ticket to another service company... same thing 2nd time - service company wouldnt come to my house. After three weeks into the ordeal, Samsung said they would refund the purchase price of my refrigerator. To get my money back I had to provide the original sales receipt, sign a contract saying I would dispose of the old refrigerator and not continue to use it, send the labels inside the refrigerator to Samsung showing model & serial # and cut the electrical cord. After complying with Samsungs request I then get an email two weeks later saying they dont have the serial # and we cannot move forward even though they had the serial # from my initial call for service. After several days of fighting this battle I get a call from Samsung saying they found the serial # but before they can process the claim now I need to go out and purchase a new refrigerator and show them the receipt for the new purchase. In addition, I need to show them a receipt from a haul away company that disposed of my refrigerator with the leaking ice maker.Refrigerator was purchased from Home Depot. I have contacted the manager of the particular Home Depot store but so far they havent offered much help. I Home Depot manager that given my experience and experiences Ive read about from other consumers that if I were him I will completely discontinue selling Samsung appliances. Ive owned many appliances over my 72 year life span and NEVER have I EVER experienced such an horrific experience. Given the runaround Ive received from Samsung I doubt very seriously Ill ever receive a refund for my refrigerator. Stay away from Samsung appliances, particularly their refrigerators.

We purchased the Samsung refrigerator (Rsh260sh) about 7 years ago and started having to replace parts 6 months after the warranty expired. Weve spent several hundred dollars for 3 fans and 2 ice makers. Now have to keep the water line to the ice/water clamped off to prevent the water dispenser from randomly flooding my kitchen. My door has rust stains down the front. Of course Samsung has offered no help except one visit from a repairman that states its unrepairable due to the rusted door and out of warranty. #NeverSamsung!

Had to replace an electronic component within the first 6 months, it was not cooling the frig part, but it was covered under warranty, no cost. Now the back of the frig is frozen, the interior shell is cracked and melted. I have to have the cover replace, the crack filled with something, and a thermostat replaced. My elderly mother bought a Samsung refrigerator, microwave and stove and they worked well for at least the first year. Since then, the handles on both the microwave and freezer door of the refrigerator have both broken off (my mother is in her 70s and not very strong) and it has cost her literally hundreds of dollars to have servicemen come and fix them because the warranty was no longer valid. She has spent more money trying to fix them than they were worth when she bought them!!! She is now having trouble with her stove, a stove which offers a divider so that one doesnt have to heat up the entire stove just a small portion of it (given that she is generally only cooking for herself). Well, guess what, the stove blew and the only way to get it to work is to remove the divider (the very reason she bought that stove) and Samsung will do nothing about it. These are products that should last AT LEAST ten years before any problems occur. Worst customer service, worst products. Worst of all, I recommended them to my elderly mother! So infuriated!

We had previously purchased a fridge, and loved it when we bought a new house, we got a new stove and microwave. The microwave started not working at Thanksgiving, less than a year after purchase. Samsung gave us the runaround about it being out of warranty. First they tried to claim the warranty started when they made it, then after several weeks and two repairmen not coming because of the warranty issue, and then Thanksgiving we had NO microwave. We called and complained, they said it was under warranty, but when a different repairman calls, they say it is not. This time, because when they made the ticket it was after the purchase date. We had already purchased an extended warranty, they wanted proof. Samsung has given us the runaround for more than 3 weeks now!!! Their repair service SUCKS!!! Their products are ok at best.

Purchased our first Samsung fridge Feb 2012. 20 minutes after delivery, we noticed a cracked shelf. It took numerous calls and 3 months to get the correct shelf. In the meantime, they had sent 2 wrong shelves and a freezer door handle as a replacement part. In the spring of 2014, our fridge started to freeze up. It took almost 3 months to get it repaired. Again in November of 2014, the same issue arose about freeze up and the temperature settings were no longer readable. They (our retailer, Future Shop) finally replaced the unit. Two weeks in, yes you guessed it, water under the crisper drawers and freezing again. The unit was replaced (by Future Shop?) and a new one shipped to us. Two weeks later with the new one, the same issue has come again! Can this company not get it right?Through all of this, Future Shop has been a stand up company. They have looked after us wonderfully! We contacted Samsung and they said via email: we are not aware of any issues with our refrigerators. Perhaps they should read their online reviews??? We went back to our retailer today and they are replacing it yet again. This time however, we selected a Frigidaire! Enough with the Samsung product.

I am having problems with the oven temperature in my brand new Samsung gas range purchased less than a month ago. When the preheat feature arrives at 350 degrees, it is not that hot in the oven. I have placed an oven thermometer in my oven because of the uneven temperatures and untrue displayed temperatures. When I called the Samsung phone number, the tech told me how to adjust or as he called it recalibrate the temperature. I did try this, however, It still appears that it takes 20 minutes or longer to reach the required temperature. In my previous 30-year-old gas range, the temperature reached the requirement in ten minutes. After reading the comments on this site (I wish I had known about it before purchasing my Samsung gas range), I would have chosen another brand. Now, I am afraid to even try the self cleaning feature.
