The only complaints I have is that the ice maker could be more efficient and that it could produce more ice. Also, the refrigerator makes an occasional noise as if the ice maker is having to work harder than it should. I have a warranty but I have not invoked it since the ice maker does work. Also, the machine keeps my food very cold.

We purchased a Samsung side by side refrigerator from sears in greenville ohio. Its not going to be 2 years old until august and it quit working! Called Sears repair and it would have cost us 1,100.00 to fix it! Thats only 300. Less than what we paid for it! Repairman told us Samsung was crap! I believe them!!! I or anybody I know will never buy this brand again! And believe me I have shared this on facebook and everybody else I know has shared this too. Thank for selling crappy products! Be proud of yourself!!!

Samsung french door RFG298 - I have the same problems and even more. Fridge will be 4 years old next month. It stopped working entirely except for 2 flashing LED lights at water dispenser. No other lights work, no compressor, no NOTHING. The bottom ice maker broke within the first couple of months. Just spent $70 to replace door storage bins and more are cracked. There are stains in between the glass shelves and rubber I cant get out, including stains on the flap of the deli drawer in between the plastic that cant be reached. Had an AHA moment when I read another review saying their fridge had dings all over it as our fridge also has dings I cant imagine why and how that happened. SAMSUNG is not responding to my request for technical help or a technician which I cant find in my areas. Paid $2,500 and purchased at Lowe’s... Its not even 4 years old and USELESS.

All of my appliances are stainless-steel and the only one that is rusting is my dishwasher Samsung serial # a3jag9mc00186-1v model # dmt 400rhs. When I called the company to complain about the rust on the door of the dishwasher, I was told that it was cosmetic and not covered by the warranty, which I knew had expired. I was further told that it [the rust] was due to environmental elements. None of my other appliances, which, by the way are not Samsung, did not rust! This is a defective product that should be addressed at Samsung. I will never buy another Samsung product again! Transaction # when I spoke with executive customer services: ** .

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator ( Model RF266AERS ) just over three year
I purchased a Samsung refrigerator ( Model RF266AERS ) just over three years ago. Within the first three months the refrigerator started making a loud vibrating noise. The manual suggested unplugging and replugging the unit to reset it, so it did and it was successful at times. I hadnt bought a refrigerator in over 25 years so I also just assumed the newer ones were a bit louder than the old ones. The next thing I noticed was that the refrigerator temperature seemed to fluctuate which was indicated by a beeping noise and the digital display changing whenever the temperature changed from the programmed temp. Again I unplugged the refrigerator as the manual suggested so that it [may reset itself.] Each time I unplugged and replugged the refrigerator the beeping fluctuating temperature indicator would stop. The frequency at which the beeping would occur became more frequent (one month apart). Today as I type this letter the beeping is almost non stop, to the point that my wife and i have to close off the kitchen doors so that we may sleep at night. There are countless other things we have experienced with the refrigerator over the past three years including random defrosts where we will notice all our frozen food has been thawed. Another problem has been water gathering under the crisper bins and frost in the back of our refrigerator. We have adhered to all the manufacturers suggestions and direct, but we can not get a consistent satisfactory service from our refrigerator and truly believe it is a manufactured lemon and defective by design. We are further discouraged from spending money to have a repair person look at it as there are hundreds of similar complaints online for our model and similar models within that line and timeline. A consensus of the complaints we read mainly tell the story of how people spent hundreds of dollars in repair only to have issue reappear within weeks. We are very disappointed and frustrated. We are hopeful that we can be a part of a lawsuit to recoup at least some of our money back to purchase a new refrigerator. I have contacted Samsung, but have not heard back from them yet.

Bought the refrigerator (Model RF263AEBP) and electric range in August 2010
Bought the refrigerator (Model RF263AEBP) and electric range in August 2010 and have had nothing but problems with the refrigerator since we bought it. Same problems as everyone else is having, freezer has ice accumulation and ice maker quit working. Ice accumulation in the vents in the refrigerator causing water to settle under the drawers and on the kitchen floor. Refrigerator and freezer quit cooling. Repairman finally came out the first of December and told us it has a Freon leak but would have to come back and do a dye test to see where leak is. In the meantime he did something to mess up the compressor so he had to order a new one (Thank goodness it was still in warranty). This was before Christmas. Set an appointment to come back January 16, 2015, to replace compressor. Advised us that he would change out some parts (that we had to pay for) but in probably 4 years we will have the same problems because it would be out of Freon again. Guess they cant fix the leak. If the leak cant be fixed it seems like they would replace the refrigerator. Could not go through Christmas without a refrigerator so we had to buy a new one and believe me it was not a Samsung. I have noticed the last time I did the self clean on the oven, it did not even clean it good. Will not buy another Samsung.

Model RF217ACWP. Bought at Best Buy 2 1/2 years ago. Same water in crisper problems experienced by other Samsung owners. But, also, the paint is peeling off all three the door handles big time! Of course, Best Buy has never heard of anything like this before. Also, Samsung said this was the first they had ever had such a problem and were surprised at our photos. Of course, it is a cosmetic issue and they will do nothing. We are told to purchase new handles and were referred to a parts company who claim they are not part of Samsung. They havent told us the cost. We are thinking removing the handles and taking them to an auto body repair shop to be repainted. Think that will work? It seems with all of the lawyers out there, someone would do a class action against Samsung since it is apparent they are selling a product with a known defect -- the water, freezing issue. Hey, where are the lawyers? Count me with those who WILL NEVER AGAIN BUY SAMSUNG!!!

I bought my Samsung fridge when I moved into my new house. My wishful thinking was soon becoming a nightmare. The plastic door for the bottom drawer broke twice and the electronics control panel failed twice as well. The fridge is now waiting for repair. I dont believe that Samsung really wishes this product to last long so it fails so often that force the consumers to buy a new one. I will buy a new fridge soon but not from Samsung.

I needed a new refrigerator and wanted the bottom freezer and double door open. I saw this one online (store didnt have exact model on floor) and chose this because of the depth and the bottom freezer. The door to the left can hardly hold anything because the ice/water is there (my old fridge wasnt that bad in that area) and the right door can only hold 1 gallon of milk. The part that is really horrible is the fact that GNATS are constantly in my fridge! I have NEVER had Gnats in my fridge!!! I have no idea what is going on but the seals must not be great. I came home at lunch time and opened fridge to get lunch and there was a LIVE gnat! The fridge is set to almost the coldest temp. Beware if you buy.

I wish I did more research and read reviews before getting into a Samsung refrigerator. 2 1/2 years ago, I bought a new refrigerator. Since I was spending more than a $1,000 on a fridge, I expected to last the usual 10 years and did not buy the guarantee. Well, I had problems with the refrigerator from day 1. A week after it was delivered I had to call service because of problems with the ice maker. After that service was called three more times with same problems. Motor is out now. Of course Samsung said you are out of luck since you did not pay $400 extra for the guarantee. I explained to them that is a persisting problem but they just say you are out of luck. Horrible customer service and worse product I ever spend money on. My washer and dryer are from another brand and I had them for more than 10 years. I will never buy a Samsung product again and will make sure my friends and family never buy a Samsung product either. Do yourself a favor and skip Samsung.

Very convenient to use, however the buttons that are on the front side seem to be a bit of problem when you get up against them, the oven lights starts up. Also, the stove control buttons are a bit confusing as they have temperatures on both sides of the button for two of the ranges. One if for low temperatures while the other is for higher temperatures. The oven is very convenient and cools very efficiently. Not a bad price for a range. The simpler the better!

FTQ353IWUX - There is a major defect in these appliances due to a combination of factors. First: all the wiring near the oven upper element is exposed to extreme heat that has damaged all the wiring plastic insulation by drying it, severely causing cracks that have exposed the bare wires. This may be contributing to the frequent cases of fire since arcs may be happening. Also, at the main board, the plug that controls the broiler temp. settings is prone to sticking and overheating, causing it to catch fire. Amazing some appliance like this has not been recalled by the government. Everyone should unplug these units and remove the back cover to visually inspect the wiring insulation near the fans. All these wires are going to show damage, cracks and longitudinal fissures exposing the wires.

I bought a Samsung Refrigerator with cold water dispenser, ice maker & deli tray drawer (Model # RF 267ABRS) in June 2009. It is 7 years old and, to its credit, it keeps food cold enough (set at 36 degrees) and has never needed a repair - but I wouldnt buy another one.My chief complaint is the darn replacement filters because: (1) they a pain to install (I am not strong enough to apply the necessary torque that is needed to remove & install the filters so my husband has to do that part) and you have to remove one of the shelves which means taking all of the food off and putting it all back, (2) it takes 2 people to change a filter because the new filters must have water run through them for 5 long minutes, so one person stands there holding a hose and funnel up to the water dispenser while the other person holds the other end of the hose over the sink for the water to drain, and (3) the filters are sealed units so you cant clean them yourself and they have to be replaced twice per year at about $50 a pop (although I just found that Amazon has them for about $37). So far we have spent $670 on replacement filters - on top of the $2500 we paid for the fridge. This is nuts. Also, the white plastic trim on the shelves is beginning to get marked up and there doesnt seem to be any way to remove the marks. The stainless steel exterior, the only kind they had in stock when my old fridge died, holds fingerprints and requires continual cleaning. And the ice maker does leak although we found if we remove the ice holding bucket and push the ice toward the rear (away from the door dispenser) before putting it back in, it stops the leaking - until the next time you use ice dispenser. Poor design. In all, this refrigerator requires too much maintenance, too much hassle and considerable ongoing expenses. Ill buy something else next time.

Purchased all Samsung appliances for my new kitchen, the refrigerator is by far the worse of all the appliances. Ice maker makes very little ice, enough to fill two tumblers a day. It quits and needs to be reset in order to start again. The overall size and room is small, I bought a 4 door two for freezer and two for fridge, not the best choice. It looks good, but not user-friendly. Hard to get the drawers out to clean.

Warranty work replaced the temperature sensor in the refrigerator (freezer was ok) after less than three years. Now, we have the same problem with the refrigerator portion of the side by side not cooling. Even after the sensor was replaced, the food would sometimes be frozen and other times too warm. I even bought a max/min thermometer to check the temps which fluctuated wildly. I agree this fridge is a danger to health and I have decided not to get it fixed as I will never trust the temperature setting. This is a bad product and Samsung will not do anything about it but send out another repairman and charge me hundreds of dollars. I will not buy this brand again.

What a huge disappointment with my 3 year old Samsung Fridge. Last summer my fridge stopped cooling. When we noticed it was accumulating ice in the back panel. After many reviews we defrosted it. This happened at least 3 times last summer. This summer we have had the same issue again. When I contacted Samsung about this they state there is no problem with this model. After careful review I have read many many complaints about this and there is even a class action lawsuit against the company. Very very disappointed. I bought the NE58K9500SG, slide in range in Nov., I would like to report a safety issue. The knobs on the front are too easy to turn. My husband and I are constantly turning the stove top on by accident with our body while reaching to the back burners or the cabinet above the stove or the microwave. We have young grandchildren in the house from time to time and I am worried about it. While we were hanging a backsplash the stove top came on and we werent aware of it. I really dont know what to do about it and Im trying to adapt to it. I love the range but Im worried about the safety of it. I cant give this a higher rating because I feel its just a matter of time before something worse happens. I have contacted Samsung support to let them be aware of the design flaws and I will update my review when or if I hear back from them.

My 4 year old Samsung French Door Refrigerator stopped cooling. As it was a Saturday night, I called a local repair company who came out and replaced the electronic control boards. That didnt fix the issue, so I called Samsung and found out that the unit has a 5 year warranty on the closed system. They gave me a repair ticket and said that the service provider would call in 24 to 48 hours later. The service center rejected the ticket because it doesnt do that repair. I have so far called the service center 4 times and have been escalated to the Executive Customer Relations department. Each time they have sent the ticket to the same service center and it has been cancelled. I have tried to escalate further but the Executive Customer Relations department is apparently a series of call centers with no centralized structure, no consistency and no accountability. I am giving up on Samsung at this point and I will never buy another one of their products. It appears to me that the warranty is a sham because they do not have anyone to actually do the repair they warranty.

We purchased a 3 door Samsung refrigerator Jan, 4 2016. The ice maker drips water through the ice dispenser and several times ice has lodged in the maker preventing new ice to drop and consequently build up ice. The repairman says this is a common complaint and we can either replace the ice maker ($500), shut the entire refrigerator down for 48 hours to let everything thaw or use a hair dryer to try to help the thawing process. He says it is an engineering flaw involving the air flow. Of course once you melt the ice it will happen again. I paid $3000 for this appliance and based on the amount of bad reviews I just now read regarding Samsung refrigerators, Samsung should for pay for this consistent problem to be repaired.

We had our Samsung fridge for 3 years in July and the compressor decided to fail, with the warranty expiring after 2 years. However, Samsung organized a repair agent to attend at a cost of $130 for an onsite visit to tell me it was the compressor and that it would be covered under warranty as the compressor has a 5-year warranty on it. That was great so they organized an agent to attend again (Samsung Plaza) to pick up the fridge, so I waited all day and they never showed up. Then the following week, they finally picked it up. After a week of them repairing the fridge, they delivered it back. They delivered it in the pouring rain, it was windy and they were in a rush. In such a rush, the truck door smashed the side of my fridge. As they brought it into my house, they scratched and dented my door on my house. They broke the wheel underneath the fridge and pushed it along my floor boards. They have now made a mess of my floors by denting the floor boards from my door all the way to where the fridge is located. When they left, I went to shut the door and noticed pieces of the fridge on the floor and as I looked down, I noticed the door on my house was damaged and the massive dents in my floor. I then contacted them straight away to tell them because by this stage, the delivery guys had driven off. I had a 3-month-old baby in my hand at the time. Thats why I hadnt followed them out. When I reported it, they were great and shocked about what had happened and were making a case of it.After many, many calls since 9th August 2012, they finally decided to approve they would repair the damage. I have spent time getting quotes for the door and my floor to be fixed and forward them on. I then had the owner of Samsung Plaza come out to view the damage and she advised she would send me a check for the door to be repaired but had someone she knew who would fix my floor. Since then I have again made many, many calls and emails and really havent got anywhere. I was advised a repair guy would come 31 October and had a call in the morning to cancel. I then told her that I had the painter coming out to repair the door and needed the check for payment and she advised she would send it in the mail. This has never been seen. I have contacted her chasing the check and the repair guy and always am told, Ill call you back. I have been pretty patient and its wearing very thin now after almost months of this. I need help on getting to the bottom of this. In the meantime, I have another Samsung agent attend to pick up and repair the broken wheel on my fridge.

We replaced all our kitchen appliances two years ago with high end Samsung
We replaced all our kitchen appliances two years ago with high end Samsung stainless appliances. We researched various brands and based our decision on JD Powers, but also considered LG since both were rated highly. We also purchased with Lowes as they had high ratings. Unfortunately, we have had so many problems with the Samsung appliances, and the salesperson incorrectly sold us a 2-unit extended warranty instead of a 4-unit warranty. We have seen many more issues than what we experienced with our basic 10-year old white Whirlpool appliances that we replaced that were original to the house but otherwise functioned correctly. We purchased extended warranties and have contacted Samsung many times, and the issues do not get resolved. Often, the local repair company will argue that there is nothing they can do. Convection microwave: dead panel/completely inoperable. Dishwasher: multiple errors on control panel during cycles, does not clean, adjustable drawer holders have broken 8 times due to cracking with heat and we have to replace at our expense. Gas oven/range: will not cook foods correctly. Be sure you buy gas range with electric oven. Gas oven does not regulate correctly and always takes much longer than recipe calls for. Refrigerator: dual icemaker takes up nearly all the storage of going with larger unit; but otherwise, this has been the only Samsung appliance that has performed without failing during the first 2 years of ownership. We will avoid purchasing the so-called high end Korean appliances next time, and we will not purchase from Lowes again.

We tried to renew warranty before and they said it had to be added 90 days before it was up. My husband has brain and lung cancer and I have multiple myeloma. We have a year old fridge and no ice living in Phoenix Az. Believe me we use ice, although its just the two of us. Thank god, Im 67 my husband is 72. I have a less than 2 yr. old Samsung 4-door fridge. Two months after I got it the ice maker started dripping. It took 7 service calls to finally fix it by replacing the fan on the motor. Now it is only cooling to 50 degrees in the fridge part. Freezer is ok. I called Home Depot warranty dept. and they called a TV repair shop (???) to come look at it. The shop told me they wanted to order parts before looking at it. Ten days later they tell me the parts arent all in and they will try to make it out on Mon (this is Fri) if the parts come in. This is so unacceptable! I would think a fridge that cost over $3000 should not be breaking down in the first place. Samsung says since I didnt buy their warranty, tough luck. After reading all of the reviews, I have a really bad feeling about this whole mess. Whatever happened to good service???UPDATED ON 09/24/2015: In my review back in July I reported that my Samsung fridge was not cooling and that I was having difficulty getting someone to repair it. Since then, the TV repair place called and said the compressor was out and they couldnt fix it because it takes R600 refrigerant and they didnt deal with it. Since it was supposedly the compressor, it was covered by Samsung, who sent yet another guy out to look at it; he said it was not the compressor but the computer board, so Samsung wouldnt cover it. After many back and forth calls to Home Depot, they finally sent me a check for the full price of my fridge, plus $300 for lost food. They told me to dispose of the fridge however I wanted to. Long story short, my brother-in-law from Florida, who has done appliance repair for 40 years, came up. Within an hour, he had recharged the compressor with R134 refrigerant and told me it had a very minute leak that wouldnt give me problems for a very long time. That was Aug. 1. The fridge has ran perfectly ever since. Upon returning to FL, he found out that Samsung had, in fact, recalled this fridge on July 1. So, I dont know how long this fix will last, but so far, so good. Anyone else in this situation should press Samsung for a refund. Apparently there is a problem with using R600 in the States, which they should have known before they started selling them here. Guess they figured they could just sell you a new one when this one died. Go figure!

We bought our dishwasher (Samsung stainless DMT610RHS) less than two years ago, in November 2012. Since we bought it, it has leaked (just a small puddle), it often smells, it stopped cleaning the dishes well (the spinner or impeller was blocked) and now the display only shows part of the numbers and the pump doesnt seem to be working. The bottom spinner doesnt spin or have water come out of it- so the dishes dont get clean. The leaking stopped after I cleaned around the seals, or maybe I just moved them as there wasnt really anything there to clean off. We took the spinner out and unblocked it. And just tonight we unscrewed everything at the bottom and cleaned it out. Guess what we found? A plastic part (from the cheap cutlery holders) lodged in the bottom impeller. Now it seems to be working but it is leaking again. And the display still looks funny. Only parts of the numbers light up. I was hesitant to buy Samsung, but my boyfriend paid for it and convinced me that it would be fine. I will never buy anything from Samsung again!! I have been looking for a new oven and always tell the sales person NOT SAMSUNG. Lowes and Samsung both told us that it is past the warranty so we would have to get it serviced. I cant believe they dont stand by their product. I bought a Kitchen Aid dishwasher on craigslist for $50 for my tenants and it is way better than this $600 one.

In the past two weeks my Samsung refrigerator has been producing ice underneath the freezer part and I have to defrost a refrigerator from the like the 1950s. My Samsung dishwasher went out and I had to replace it And my top loading Samsung washing machine went out. This is all taking place in the past two weeks and these appliances are less than three years old. To make matters worse my 55 inch plasma Samsung TV went out last night. Samsung needs to make appliances that will last you longer than three years. This is an absolute shame that you can sell your appliances to people and within three years they break down. Samsung needs to stand behind their products and make better products. I will NEVER recommend a Samsung again or buy another one of their products.

The worst stove/oven we ever owned. Purchased new fridge and stove, both Samsung and stainless steel. The range is NE595R0AB series. When water boils over, it stains. The oven has never worked well (convection or not), same batch of cookies but one tray might be done but 8 min later next is burnt or rare, hotter one side of even to other. Now the oven isnt working at all. In the short time since we bought these we are so unhappy, we cant believe how poor the quality is. Even the fridge, with the stainless steel. Just try to keep the stains from the fridge! It has stains from the cleaner. We hate them both and feel so ripped off. Wished we had read some of these prior.

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator in 2013 RS265TDRS. Immediately the ice maker had issues, and I have to continue to defrost the ice maker monthly and the dispenser gets clogged. It was embedded in the door, now I see they have abandoned that approach. My bigger issue is that this year the refrigerator stopped working and wouldnt cool. The temperature gauge showed 38 degrees but it was warm and all food spoiled. Had to pay a repairman to come out and tell us this is a common problem with Samsung refrigerators and they need to be defrosted constantly, especially in humid areas and not to use the energy saving setting. He basically indicated the auto defrost is no longer working and it would be cheaper to buy a new fridge than to fix this one. Even though Samsung shows 10 year warranty on the compressor, what good is that if you cant use the fridge after only 6 years and after talking to Samsung they only cover their product for 1 year. Lowes had a 3 year extended warranty. Repairman said he has better experiences with other brands.

We purchased this french door refrigerator from Best Buy 3 years ago. We purchased the extended warranty and didnt need to use it. As soon as the 2 year extended warranty ended the refrigerator started: the temperature at the top started saying numbers that meant it was cold enough. Then the ice maker quit working & broke. The freezer door wouldnt close correctly. We called Sears Repair since Samsung gave us the run around. Sears came 4 times. We paid for new gaskets, new hinges, new ice maker, new mother board. Ice maker doesnt work nor has it since the guy left after putting it in. Water flows into the crisper drawer & floods our kitchen every so many days. UNREAL for a $2000 cost put extended warranty! I wouldnt buy Samsung again. We also have a plasma tv & sound board neither work correctly!

So sad. Built a beautiful home almost 2 years ago (June 2015). Was so excited to have a nice kitchen. We decided on a Samsung suite for the kitchen. The problems started with our dishwasher. Didnt clean the dishes and smelled of garbage every time you opened it. Had numerous tech calls to fix never was. My last straw was when they didnt show up for another appointment after taking an afternoon off from work. We replaced it with a Bosch after only 8 months. My microwave doesnt turn. It used to but we discovered (after warranty was up) that the plate feet were too big for the part on bottom of microwave to turn it. So the refrigerator. Small issue but the bottom deli tray cover comes off every single time you open the drawer. It is too small for the drawer.Called Samsung and they sent us another one. Same issue. Go into Best Buy and look at the floor model and it works and fits perfectly. Not sure why ours does that. Last month noticed that the same drawer was stuck. Pulled it out and there is a buildup of ice on bottom. Cleaned it all up and has happened again. I am sitting here with two coolers, a dorm refrigerator and my RV refrigerator filled and my Samsung unplugged and empty. I have read that this is an issue. Almost to point of just wanting a new refrigerator. I wish I had the money to replace right now. Dont want to deal with Samsung products again. (Also have a 55 Samsung flat screen and the picture turns off randomly and you have to shut it all down and restart).

NOV 14TH 2019 OUR SON WENT TO PREHEAT OUR Samsung oven and heard a crack and pop sound. All the sudden there was smoke. He ran to get his dad, my husband came running downstairs full on flames out of the back control panel. My husband had to put it out with a fire extinguisher and almost called the fire department. We bought a 5 yr extended warranty thru Best Buy and currently without a stove till they come take a look. So we have no way to cook food for our family. Were already $200 plus out of pocket expenses. Trying to remove the smell of fire from our home and had to buy a 2 burner plug in burner so we can cook something. Fire extinguisher dust everywhere. We have had our Samsung refrigerator (RF263EAWP) for about 2 years and its already starting with the pooling problem underneath the deli tray as many have reported (e.g. Lisa of Elkton, MD on Oct. 18, 2013). I can see by the other reviews this is just the beginning. As she said I checked (some of) the reviews - although not here. Many said it was a good product. The construction is cheap at best. I am also upset because it does seem that no one knows where this problem is originating. The user manual and online sites were no help. I guess were stuck with - at least - keeping towels in our unit to keep it from flooding. Im glad we did not get the water dispenser; it would have been more headaches!

Samsung refuses to acknowledge what every service technician has told us and that is that many models of their refrigerators have a serious design problem that results in constant buildup of ice under their crisper slide out drawers. Aside from the time and mess in chipping away the buildup and the numerous expensive service calls that do not seem to correct the problem... Samsung customer service agents hold fast to the 1 year warranty and refuses to admit that this is a serious problem and that as a worldwide company that they should admit their fault and keep customers happy. BUT THEY DONT AND APPARENTLY COULD CARE LESS. So no more Samsung Refrigerators or Appliances for me. We bought our Samsung dishwasher thinking that all dishwashers were the same. This was just an upgraded appliance that would match our new refrigerator. Were we wrong! The LC code popped up one night after it drained out the water on our kitchen floor. No matter if I opened the door or closed it the dishwasher ran. I had to cut the power off to the dishwasher to get it to stop. Hours on the phone to Samsung only to be sent to some place for repairs that was over three hours away. Looked up reviews for this place and they were terrible. We ended up going back to Home Depot that night where we bought it from. No problem, they took it back and we purchased a KitchenAid for just $100 more. This was on a Sunday evening and we had our new dishwasher on Friday morning. Home Depot stepped up big time on this one. Apparently theres been a lot of this going on and they werent surprised but really couldnt say the words. When our installer came over he also couldnt say the words but did agree with the statement that Samsung dishwashers were the ones they replaced the most. Ill spend the time researching before our next appliance purchase. I guess appliances arent all about the looks and the fancy technology now. Experiences from actual consumers tell the real story. Needless to say we wont be buying any products from Samsung.

Only 2 years ago I bought the French Door refrigerator. Had problems with the ice maker but I figured I would put up with using a hair dryer every few months to get the frost/ice out. Then about 2 months ago, major fan noise. Then temperature goes to 54. Called Samsung. Gee sorry its not under warranty. Well I need it fixed. You have to use one of our certified repair companies. When can they come out? I ask. They couldnt get anyone out for 5 days. I needed a refrigerator fixed sooner. Had a serviceman come out. Main control board and heater both had to be replaced. $700. Then this week, same thing is happening. Called Samsung and they said someone would get back to me to schedule a repair. They contacted me 48 hours later, and tell me a repair person will be here in over a week. I see so many bad reviews reports... Our Side-by-Side fridge stopped working about a month ago. I called Samsung and they offered me a 1 year warranty (which I thought was odd since the fridge was 4 years old). So I accepted, and they referred me to a local repair shop, A&E Factory Service in San Antonio, TX, which by the way is no good as well! The technician came out and said 4 parts needed to be ordered. Only 2 parts came in. Tech ordered other 2 parts. Only one part came in. I HAD to follow up with the Tech, with his company and with Samsung to get that 4th part ordered! Parts finally came in, and the fridge was repaired. Following week, fridge is not working again. A&E sends a Sears tech and says compressor is out of refrigerant (possible leak). He fills refrigerant and leaves before the fridge even shows that it is cooling. Fortunately it did. 2 weeks later (which is today 11/13/13), the fridge is not working again. I call Samsung and get transferred 5 different times because they cant give me a correct department to speak with. In the end, hopefully my fridge gets fixed. I decided to buy a backup the 2nd time around in case this would happen again (which today is the 3rd time). Im pretty sure they are just going to send another tech who seems like they do not know what they are doing and dont make the effort to ensure the fridge gets fixed for good. SO dont buy a fridge from a company who makes TVs and phones, lets put it that way. The model number of my fridge is #RS277ACBP/XAA. That was $1500 down the drain. Dont let the LED lights fool you in front of the fridge and drag you in because you think it looks fancy. Samsungs warranty is no good, their customer service is no good, and the contractors they send to come repair your fridge is no good.

We bought Samsung microwave, to go along with all other Samsung appliances. We paid several hundred dollars for unit, and have been highly disappointed. Without warning, microwave stopped working entirely. We had all breakers tested to ensure the issue was in fact the microwave. Then, called Samsung Support. When we were told this wouldnt be covered by warranty *though they werent sure what the problem was, and advised we would need to schedule service. An appliance that you pay good money for, should continue working - and if it doesnt, it should be considered faulty by the manufacturer. Forgive me for not wanting to pay Samsung any more money for selling a bad product, being less than helpful, and no guarantee that even if they fix the unit, that we wont continue to have problems.Additional side notes: We used this microwave minimally, always kept it clean, and even advised Samsung Support that we just needed them to provide us a website - in order for us to refer to make the repair ourselves. Avoid the hours of wasted time if youve had your microwave over a year. And, in hopes you havent already bought a Samsung unit, read reviews of other manufacturers and the way they handle complaints, before making an investment. Had we done that, we wouldnt be shelling out hundreds of dollars for a replacement - our savings for Christmas gifts will now be covering malfunctions of something that is less than 2.5 years old. Now the oven will not heat past 150 degrees again. We contacted Samsung and they want us to pay for the repair. I explained that the oven never worked as it should from the beginning. Samsung said, Your warranty is up. I said the oven failed on warranty and never worked correctly from day one. We are experiencing the same problem over and over with the oven. I have contacted Samsung at least 4 times and I am getting a run-around. The case Number/Ref Number is **. It is obvious that the oven was a lemon and should have been replaced. This Samsung dmr78ahs dishwasher has been nothing but trouble. We constant failures. There are rope cables attached to springs that counterweight the door. They constantly break. The upper basket adjuster brackets fail yearly. Now the water inlet valve is leaking. These are all poor component quality issues and design problems. My cheap builder installed dishwasher lasted 15 years without a single issue. I just got tired of the noise. Junk, Junk, Junk!

Samsung Self Cleaning Convection Stove Fire - Yesterday at approximately 5PM EST, I heard a loud bang & looked towards the kitchen & there were flames shooting out of the back of my stove. I ran for the phone & baking soda, but thankfully the fire died out and nothing was damaged, except the stove! This came directly from the circuit board, and is obvious there was an inferior connection. This stove is 3 yrs old, and until yesterday everything was fine. I was roasting beets in the oven & it was set at 400 degrees. There was no fire in the oven, just shooting up from the back of the stove. I want everyone to be aware of this issue & have posted on Samsung Canadas FB page as well.

I would never purchase or recommend a Samsung appliance again after our experience with our Samsung refrigerator that we purchased in Fall 2013. After owning the refrigerator for ~9 months, I began to notice water accumulating under the deli drawer. I thought it might just be normal and cleaned it up every month or so. Around 15 months after purchase, I noticed the water accumulating more often and to a greater degree. Water would spill out of the fridge when we opened the doors (sometimes sheets of ice). I called Samsung and the refrigerator was not under warranty any longer.Over a period of the next 9 months, Samsung sent out 3 different repair companies. None of the companies could fix the problem. Water and ice continued to accumulate, spilling all over the floor whenever the fridge was opened. Large amounts of mildew grew due to the moisture. The fridge had to be shop-vacuumed monthly to clean out all of the water. After Samsung telling us that there was nothing else that they could do, we finally purchased a new refrigerator from a different manufacturer. We moved the fridge to our garage and it is now going to have to be hauled away due to the continual growth of mildew due to the water accumulation problem. We are so frustrated that we spent $2000+ on this refrigerator and it cannot even be used in our garage!

Samsung range/oven Model NE595R1ABSR - Upon contacting Samsung service due to a sensor failure in my top oven, I am told that there is no certified service provider available within three hours of my home. Although my parts are supposed to be under warranty, I was told that they had no information on my ability to obtain a sensor and do the repair myself. Because I now have smoke coming out of the control panel when I bake in the lower, and because the lower oven is making the same sounds that the top made just before going out, it looks like I will have to replace the range. I wont make the same mistake in purchase. I wont buy from a box and I wont purchase Samsung.

Buyer beware. Samsung will not reimburse you for out of pocket expenses for repair of their refrigerator. I purchased a French door Samsung fridge in June 2017. I tried to remove the ice bucket. It was frozen, I called customer service, the fridge was only 3 months old. Samsung sent their appliance tech over to install a new ice bucket. The tech said to unplug the fridge so the ice would melt and he could replace the defective ice bucket. I said, Then the meat & dairy products would spoil. I was told to put it all in the bottom freezer, with dry ice on top. I said, Who will pay for the dry ice. Samsung will reimburse me for the cost of the dry ice. Well that never happened. After numerous phone calls I decided to contact BBB in New Jersey to file a complaint. A rep from Samsung did call after BBB sent them my complaint. Well I got a different story from the Samsung rep. Samsung does not reimburse customers for their out of pocket expenses, even if their fridge is only 3 months old. This is a Billion Dollar Corp. I told the rep and Samsung wont refund me $51.00. KEEP AWAY from Samsung appliances unless you want a pile of problems.

We bought a Samsung RT72SBSM about 2 years ago and it just stopped cooling one day. After checking, the compressor is found busted and they would charge me USD150 for labor and for fixing the gas, which are not under warranty. When I queried Samsung about why their fridge died only after 2 years, instead of apologizing, the Samsung person retorted, we dont know the lifetime of our fridges. They should know. Its their product. They should have some sort of indication that this is a faulty fridge and they are doing what they can to rectify it. Saying they dont know simply takes them away from being accountable to make good products. Samsung is a horrible horrible brand, with absolutely, incredibly lousy customer service. Avoid all Samsung products at all cost, please!

Do not buy a Samsung refrigerator! I purchased a French door, bottom freezer, center drawer unit in November 2014. Beautiful appliance! I never really cared for the icemaker, but it made ice so I was ok with it until the unit was 2 1/2 years old. The ice maker began to freeze on the bottom and no ice was made. Then the water began dripping out of the front door dispenser. Fortunately I purchased the extended warranty, but when the repairmen came, on four occasions, there was not much they could do to remedy the situation. Finally they ordered a new icemaker, but then Samsung backordered for over a month then sent the wrong parts. Seems Samsung has completely changed the repair of their icemakers and the repairmen have not installed a new one to their specifications, so mine is the first. Great! Mine will be the Guinea Pig! Wish I had this purchase to do over, and had my $2000 (sale price) back to purchased an American made unit.

Now I’m being told not till the end of October are they expecting the part. Do yourself a favor DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG DISHWASHERS. I was even told by the repairman they should just stick with TV’s.

This little used microwave stopped functioning. The display reads SE. I called Samsung and was told it was covered as a known issue; an appliance repair company was assigned to fix it. The repair company called, they had received an email from Samsung regarding my washing machine! I told them it was a microwave. They said call Samsung back and get the correct info sent to them. I called Samsung. In our conversation I was unable to give them the serial no. It is placed on the inside of the microwave where you clean and subsequently had been scrubbed off. Samsung said that voids the warranty. They will not cover the microwave. Incompetent to place a sticker on an inside wall. I emailed the sales receipt to no avail. At first we called and had a tech come out to fix it. He mentioned that this is a very common problem. So after reading all the same issues others are having why is there not a recall on such a piece of junk. DO NOT waste your money. We purchased a Samsung side-by-side refrigerator in 2010 and since buying it, we have had problems with the ice maker spilling ice all over my floor every time you use the ice maker. The ice maker bin is too small and does not fit a family of 4 at all. My recent encounter is now, it doesnt defrost so I have to take it apart and use my hair dryer to melt the ice. We found that you have to take it off energy saver mode so that it will defrost. Samsung suggests we dont pack it very much. Amazing! Why did I buy it in the first place? I wanted energy saver, enough space to handle my large family but this is by design. Im very disappointed not to have read reviews first.

I purchased a Samsung Dishwasher DW7933LRABB and have nothing but horrible experiences with its poor cleaning results. I have had no less than 8 service calls for this machine. Each time a service repair agent replaced a part or parts saying it will resolve the poor results. It is nothing but a piece of junk, and I am being nice as this review would be flagged. I might as well eat off the dirty dishes as they are cleaner than after running them through this dishwasher. Samsung has done nothing for me as they say it is a extended service contract issue, not theirs. The issue is they make horrible products. If you are thinking of buying any Samsung product DONT DO IT as you will be writing a review like mine. Samsung has lost a customer and I will tell everyone I know not to buy or do business with this company ever!

In July 2012, we had to buy a new refrigerator because the compressor on the old one died. We usually buy appliances from Best Buy but now appliances have been taken over by Pacific Sales. We got their cheap extended warranty and, to this day, the ice maker has failed to function properly. Warranty was called and out of the 4 times, they paid 3 and the last one I had to fight the warranty company (Warren Tech the worst company to deal with) because I kept saying that the ice maker isnt functioning properly because every month the ice builds up and no ice comes out. Samsung will not even help because the manufacturers warranty is over and the problem is now the warranty companys problem. If anyone else has had a problem with their Samsung ice maker please tell us what we could do to have the ice maker function the way it should.

Samsung DW80H9930US Dishwasher. When I bought my dishwasher from Lowes two years ago, this was the Most Expensive one at that moment. After I used it for a while, it stopped working. So, I contacted Samsung and asked for the fix. I paid for it and it fixed. In my second year, one day, when I had the small kid walking around, I suddenly noticed that inside the my dishwasher got the mold so badly. I thought it might be because we used it for a while. After I tried to clean everything including the shelf itself. I thought the clean is done and everything will be good again. However, it seems that the mold is NEVER gone away. We cleaned and cleaned. After we really tired of cleaning the dishwasher, I called the customer service and the Samsung Dishwasher manager, Jack **, told me that that is the Maintenance issue. Then I asked, after I PAY for the maintenance, if the mold will go away. He said he cannot guarantee it because it is always maintenance issues. So basically saying, when we buy a dishwasher from Samsung, we have to ensure that we need to pay Maintenance fee for it or they recommended to open the dishwasher Door after the cycle is done for a hour. I did not know when I bought the dishwasher, I need to wake up at 3 in the morning to open the door for my little doggy in order to let the moisture out. Of course, they never committed that is the design defect of their machine. I am wondering if any of family members who has the dishwasher and has the mold issue should work together to sue the company as the mold is the one of most recognized factors causing Cancer. I bought so many Samsung applications when I bought my very first house but I guess it is the goodbye information to you.

Our Samsung FE-R300SX is 3 years old and we heard a loud pop and saw flames and smoke shooting out the back of the range. The circuit board caught fire. Samsung will not cover any of the expenses. Thankfully we saw it right away and our kitchen did not catch fire. This range should be recalled for safety. My husband and I were headed out the door when we heard the loud pop and saw the flames. We were baking Tater Tots and had the oven timer on. Our son was in his room playing video games and was going to turn off the oven when the timer went off. Our kitchen would have been on fire before he would have noticed a problem. We paid almost $700 for this range on sale and it is only 3 years old. We are very unhappy customers and will never buy anything Samsung again. They didnt even call me back about the problem. They sent an email to say they were sorry it caught fire, but they set me up for an out of warranty repair that I will have to pay for. I called them back and was told that I had no recourse and they would not cover the repair. Even thought there is a 5-year parts warranty, it does not cover the circuit board which caught fire.

In November 2011, our family purchased a counter depth Samsung Refrigerator, Model #RSG257AARS. Shortly after purchasing the refrigerator, the exterior door above the ice maker had a small divot. Originally, it appeared like someone in our family dinged it with a hard object. However, over the next year, the problem continued, and both doors are covered in small divots from the door handles to the top of the refrigerator. This is definitely a manufacturing defect. According to the representative from Samsung, the warranty was only good for one year, and Samsung refuses to stand behind their product stating this is not a recall issue. This was a large investment for our family, and we are extremely disappointed that Samsung will not support its customers and products. We would like to share this experience so other consumers can make an educated choice before making their purchase.

I bought a house with Samsung appliances and and wish I had asked for new ones from a different brand. Pure junk. The stove burners didnt work properly, the oven heat varied all over the oven when baking. The fridge door drawers all cracked and cost too much to bother replacing. The door flap was broke and fridge didnt cool properly. Food spoiled. Now for the junk of a washer that would take half a day to do a load of wash because when it would go to the spin mode, it would unbalance and kick out only to take another twenty mins to finish or do it again and back to twenty mins again. I would recommend to not buy these from this company. They need to stick to cellphones. By the way, the house was seven years old and the dryer was a different make, assuming it died already. Costly replacing all of this because they make crap.

Large burner (Samsung Induction Range NE58K9560WS) worked properly about three times then suddenly would turn off after about 3 seconds. First service attempt could not get it to work but if he traded out knob would work so was not prepared and had to return with another knob. Second service call different guy with different problems he could not figure out. Third call, original service guy who still could not get it to work properly so the same people they called for help each time said I had to use a VERY large heavy pot for it to work. I was not there. I heard this through my husband. So supposedly the same pot that didnt work before now does work on that burner and my husband was supposedly EDUCATED about the proper pan size to use for each burner. Interesting as my old induction Kenmore never had a problem, and I could use any size pan on any burner. Well when I got home I tried the large pot on the burner but the scale on the knob was completely off. As I turned the knob it does not start until I get to simmer and it boosts to a 6, then the next notch goes to 9. Then 8, then to 4!!! It is suppose to increase incrementally from 1 to 9! So I call back to tell them the problem and I am supposedly in service call time out, as they clearly dont believe the stove has anything wrong with it. I am very frustrated and really wish I had never purchased this appliance. Did I mention that the service techs rely on YouTube like videos to troubleshoot and repair, and also call their tech support.

How do I start this? First bought Samsung because retailer said it was one of the best made refrigerator. After one year the thermal fuse failed, back panel blew out from frost. No warranty coverage. The tech said they had less than 1% failure rate on their appliances. I had no idea if it was the truth but he had a Samsung shirt on so that means he knows what he is doing, right?Well $327.00 later I had a working refrigerator on top of the $1400.00 I had already paid for it. The ice maker stopped making entire ice cubes. Only crushed ice seems to come out of it. That was OK just wrote it off as high moisture in South Carolina until the bottom of the refrigerator filled with water. I noticed the seal for the double doors was not completely sealed because of a wrinkle in the top of it. Warming it with a real hot towel I worked the wrinkle out of it. That seemed to help. Overall I dont recommend this manufacturer of refrigerators. Based on their lack of support I wont be buying Samsung anything for a long time if ever. I dont believe that I still have the receipt but I can find it being bought at Lowes in Seneca, SC four years ago.
