I also have purchased a Samsung fridge. NEVER again. I have had nothing but trouble with it. Even with the extended warranty it is a piece of JUNK. After service call, too many to count, it still dont cool and has to be unplugged and set for at least 48 hours on almost a regular basis. If you call this a good product I beg to differ. I had saved for a LONG time to be able to purchase this fridge and it not only was a waste of my time, but my money. I would NEVER recommend this product nor purchase another. Samsung need to step up and make things right for those of us that have had nothing but problems with this product!!! Shame... SHAME on Samsung!!!

Have a french door refrigerator. Had problems with the ice maker after first 30 days. Ice maker leaks and freezes up. Have had this worked on twice and numerous calls to Samsung with NO help from them. Everyone needs to know there is a class action lawsuit regarding this issue. Contacted Best Buy for service and the guy told me they would come fix it but would only be a 50/50 chance the ice maker would be fixed for good because of continuous problems with this ice maker and it could cost up to $500. Samsung has a problem with this and they should take responsibility to make good on their products. Will not buy another Samsung product.

We purchased our Samsung fridge a little over a year ago and about 6 months into having it I lifted the little tray where the water and ice are located and found that it had rusted! The rust has continually grown out onto the fridge door causing the paint to chip off and leave sharp metal for my children to injure themselves. I have contacted Samsung and because this is a Cosmetic defect they will not do anything to fix it. It is beyond frustrating that you pay a large amount of money for something and it is not up to the standards that it is advertised. I have always purchased Samsung products but I will say this was our last. They have lost a Samsung customer for life.

I purchased this about 16 months ago. Loved the ability to make it into 2 ovens. Unfortunately even though its a self cleaning oven it got too hot when it cleaned the oven and fried the electronic board, so I paid 475.00 to fix a almost new stove. Sounds like over heating stoves and phones is a major problem for Samsung.

Bought a Samsung refrigerator 3.5 years ago. One of their better models paid in excess of 2k. So far every eighteen months it breaks down needing costly repairs. The techs who service Samsung are not big fans of these refrigerators. Many recurring issues with poor design and parts that fail. I for one would never own another Samsung product.

Problem: Water dispenser began leaking immediately upon installation. Purged system of air but leak continued. Then within a week or so of use, the water dispenser began making a vibrating noise. The noise was in the area where the water line leads into the back of the refrigerator. Solution: After repair service made three attempts, one by replacing the water valve. This eliminated the vibrating noise for a day. The vibrating noise was continuous. The third service call was removing the water filter. There was no vibration or leaking when the filter was not in the refrigerator. The service repairman suggested leaving the filter out for a day then install a new filter. We installed a new filter the next day. It worked. We have been leak free and noise free for several days. So, if you have either of these problems or both, I suggest you remove the filter and install a new one before calling service. By the way, our service company informed us we would be getting a new filter from Samsung since the 6-month period had not been up on the filter.

We bought a new set of Samsung for the house (wash/dryer, refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher). No issues with them except for the dishwasher. The DMT800 is the most expensive Samsung dishwasher, and seems to have a lot of issues in my research. After only three days old, we got Error Code 5E (or SE): blocked line. Then we reset the breakers, unplugged it...made sure no vent line was pinched... Then it worked for three days, before we got Error Code PE.We called Pacific Sales (the retail store), and they will NOT return a dishwasher... NO return policy (after only a week since purchase). They scheduled a repairman in two weeks, and told us to call Samsung to try to get an earlier appointment.Spent a total of 2.5 hours going back and forth with Samsung and Pacific Sales, as you are required by Samsung to perform various steps to resolve the issue (like resetting circuit breaker, unplugging it for 20 minutes, running it empty, running it in sanitize mode...).We were told by the retailer, Pacific Sales, that Samsung repairs are behind schedule (maybe because of their bad dishwashers) and that the earliest appointment is in two weeks! They said to call Samsung directly to try to get them to come out earlier. After over three hours of calls...we are to wait another two days to see when the Earlier Possible appointment may be. The dishwasher went down five days ago, and now we may go two weeks (washing by hand like we did as kids... oh fun!).TIP: Not sure what the cost is for the Extended Warranty, but saw many websites with reviews that it may be worth getting, as you will have guaranteed issues over the first 1.5 years.TIP: Also, does installing yourself void the warranty? They charge $95 for installs... After the first repairman comes, we will only let the repair guys touch it to maintain the warranty.TIP: A common problem is with the racks breaking (top one specifically), so call Samsung immediately if it happens, as you may need to do it a few times before warranty is up.

I bought fridge, dishwasher, microwave, range, and a washer/dryer for a new house, did my research and thought I was buying the best available. First, within 1 month, the dishwasher went. I made more calls to Samsung than loads of dishes in the unit. The problems ranged from simply not turning on to the motor completely seizing. Apparently there are plastic pieces that break off the wheels and racks and end up lodged in the motor, therefore seizing the motor. This brand new dishwasher has been completely rebuilt. I had the repairman out to house on that unit >6 times. Second, the microwave keypad went within the first six-months, repaired with no problem, but now it’s broken again, and its the same issue. An over the range microwave that cannot handle the steam that rises from the stove top and shorts out the keyboard. Great design flaw and one would think they would fix it, replace the unit, recall it - nope. Its out of warranty and, they wont fix it and more importantly, the part is no longer available (being made - read lemon) so I cannot even fix it myself. Third, the gas dryer ignition went - fix it myself. Finally, the fourth the fridge, (sigh)... I absolutely loved this fridge, loved, past tense. Two years after purchasing, the Main control panel and 2 sensors went on the unit. TWO YEARS. So I called Samsung, and to be honest, the customer service is less than stellar. I was told that it was no longer under warranty, and they would not fix or even consider fixing it due to its age. I was quite polite and asked if I could speak with managers, blah, blah, blah. I eventually made my way up to executive customer service, who knew, and it was there that I was told that if even if they wanted to, they could not fix my unit because Samsung stopped making the MCP. So there were no parts to fix it. I was so adamant about Samsung making good on this fridge. I went without a fridge for 6 weeks while I dealt with them. I tried to negotiate a refund, or some sort of credit, a replacement unit, to no avail. I believe that they should have offered me a replacement unit due to the fact that the unit could not be repaired. I repeat, the fridge was 2 YEARS old. For goodness sakes, my grandmother had her fridge for 30 years. The way I see it, they stopped making the MCP because of the on-going problems with the unit. Basically it was another lemon. So yeah, so sorry for your luck but thanks for your 2 grand, go buy another fridge... and thats what I did. I will never, NEVER recommend or buy another Samsung product.

I like the way the refrigerator looks, but the icemaker has been a constant headache. It ices up every couple of weeks. My repairman gave me a quote of $700 to replace it. I have to remove the box, get a hairdryer out to melt the accumulated ice dam. My neighbor has the same refrigerator and has the same problem. Ice makers have been around for a long time. I cant figure out why this is such a problem.

This is a huge french style fridge with freezer in the bottom and water/ice in the door. This has double doors with lots of space in each door and tons of shelf space inside. We love this fridge. It has worked great for years, but does have 2 flaws that can be dealt with. The fridge temp rises and it has iced over in the center back vent. The cover must be removed and ice melted then move the thermo coupler down and uncovered to stop refreezing. In addition, the ice maker freezes up. Just remove the tray and blow with hair dryer. Even with flaws we love this fridge.

Samsung Refrigerator Model #RF323TEDBSR/AA. Unfortunately, I did not see the reviews on Samsung Refrigerators and made the worst mistake of purchasing one - my first and last Samsung appliance! It seems that most consumers are having issues with the ice makers, as well as myself. Within a few months after purchasing the Samsung refrigerator, the ice maker was not working properly and it is now not working at all. I paid $2,400 for this refrigerator. I just dont understand how a company is able to continue ripping consumers off!! In addition to other very frustrated consumers, I continue to let everyone I know via internet and otherwise to NOT purchase Samsung appliances.

I bought a Samsung French three door refrigerator. Ice maker froze over, major ice build up in the back panel of the unit. The fan began hitting the ice build up. I called Samsung, a representative told me parts and labor were covered for 5 years. Technician shows up and tells me the evaporator fan and defrost sensor are bad. Technician tells me those items are not covered. I called Samsung while the technician is here working on the unit. Samsung tells me again the units cooling system is covered under warranty. The technician tells me and the Samsung representative the parts are not covered. Samsung representative tells me the evaporator fan and sensor are not covered because they are not part of the cooling system. I watch the technician out sealer around the icemaker because the unit doesnt have a good seal. 326.00 it costs me to fix the unit. After 55 minutes on the phone, Samsung tells me they cannot help with the cost. I spoke with Dianna and Henderson in customer service. I WILL NOT BY ANOTHER SAMSUNG PRODUCT AGAIN.

In mid-2015 I replaced my refrigerator with the Samsung French Door/Freezer
In mid-2015 I replaced my refrigerator with the Samsung French Door/Freezer at the bottom (Model #: RF261BEAEWW/AA-0001). Two weeks ago, we noticed the icemaker abruptly stopped working. Shortly thereafter, water accumulated under the refrigerator crisper and seeped from under the right side. Not really understanding what was going on, I just cleaned it every two to three days. Now as of three days ago, I began hearing a humming/grinding noise coming from the upper rear center on the inside of the fridge. It sounded like the fan was hitting something as its spinning. It only does it when the doors are closed and you can hear it winding down when you open the door. When you close the doors, it winds up to full speed again and the loud irritating sound returns. Now, since the icemaker stopped I turned it off yet the noise is still active. While doing an inspection, I found a build up of ice in the back of the fridge.Turning to the internet for Diagnostics and DYI Repair advice, I have come across countless of sites with hundreds of complaints warning people Samsung will not recognize their horrible flaw(s) within their product. Samsung Service Centers have you open a ticket but then tell you they apparently cant fix the issue(s). Like many here, I dont have money to freely give a technician who will in turn place a Band-Aid on the problem; only for the refrigerator to disintegrate it and I succumb to the same issues month(s) later. They built the fridge and therefore they should have the ability to successfully repair it! Samsung shouldve just stuck with manufacturing electronics. I believed in their products until now. I, for one, will not be buying any of their major appliances anymore. Since they refuse to issue a recall notice on their clearly defected product I would like more information as to where and how to add my name to the lawsuit against them.

If you are thinking about buying a Samsung refrigerator dont. This is the worse product ever and I regret buying it. I purchased the product in 2013 from Lowes, they were having a sale so I purchased the refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher. I have not had any problems with the stove but the dishwasher and refrigerator is a whole new ball game. First, there are the filters (which are not cheap) you have to buy every six months to a year for the refrigerator depending on how much you use the water dispenser. Secondly, the ice maker just one day stop making ice and this has been going on for about a year as I refuse to pay almost $500 to a repairman, that the Samsung customer service (who was rude) recommended, for a new ice maker for a refrigerator that I havent had for that long. I can purchase another refrigerator for that price (I mean its only been 3 years. My GE appliances lasted 10 years before I had problems with them). We even had a local repairman come out to take a look at it and he wouldnt touch it because he said that they are too difficult to work on and he also said that he has had several calls about Samsung refrigerators for one thing or another and that only a trained Samsung repair person would be able to fix it but they want too much money. And then there is the dishwasher that seem to always feel wet on the inside even when not in use and it has a smell that I cant describe. I am so disappointed in this product. The biggest regret of my life. So I am warning you Samsung may be good in the cell phone business but their appliances SUCK!!!! I should have just stuck with GE.

I bought this French door Samsung refrigerator cause the one that came with the house I bought had died. After looking at both Home Depot, H. H. Gregg, Lowe’s and Best Buy - I settled on this model RF268ABWP at Lowe’s in white. A little background - I went to culinary institute of America at Greystone and have been a professional chef for over 30 years - I know my way around a kitchen and appliances. This Samsung is the worst - there’s just not hardly any storage room in freezer and it continually ices up to the point the drawer/door is open and water/ ice melts on to the kitchen floor. The door at several places has started to rust, underneath the coolselect crisper drawer in the main body of fridge also continually ices up and the drawer starts to be pushed out. Have to thaw ice jam and remove ice sheet and then dry out fridge bottom and freezer drawer bottom. Complete pain in the **. Called Lowe’s customer service and nothing, also called Samsung and nothing no help. After reading and digging around on internet found that it’s a design flaw and company knew about it but refuses to fix. If I could fit on my boat it would be at the bottom of some lake. Complete junk and a waste of over 1400 bucks - my advice to anyone buying a new or used fridge - stay away from Samsung.

I will NEVER buy another Samsung product after the experiences I have had with this refrigerator model #RFG298HDBP. Water from the door dispenser would drip enough to fill up the reservoir and it had to be constantly maintained. While during the warranty period, the lower icemaker never worked properly or regularly. Samsung sent out a repairman who replaced the icemaker at no charge (under warranty). The replacement was of equal poor quality as it operated for a month or so before problems started. Water would overfill and spill into the ice bin... Finally, we decided to shut off the lower icemaker. The warranty had expired and I was not going to pay for a service call because I was beginning to see more problems on the horizon. The upper icemaker would produce ice at a much slower pace, but we survived. Then the water leaking into the meat/cheese drawer began. Puddles of clean water that you could splash in the drawer... I started keeping a hand towel at the back to absorb the water and every few days I would replace the water soaked towel with a dry one. Sometimes the wet towel is frozen stiff. Then, a layer of ice was developing under the meat drawer! Water was dripping under it and freezing up. If the layer built up enough over a weeks time, you would have difficulty sliding the drawer in and out and closing the drawer. As a new maintenance routine I take contents from the drawer, pull the drawer completely out of the refrigerator, scrape out the ice on the bottom of the refrigerator cabinet, then put the drawer back in. Can you believe this? Many of my fresh vegetables are freezing (ruining) in the refrigerated section... not in the drawers but sitting on the shelf. At least once a week I have to go through the de-icing routine, maybe more often depending on the ice build up. As of yesterday, the door dispenser of ice and water has stopped operating. Nothing comes out of the dispenser. Zero.Like everyone else on ConsumerAffairs, I called Samsung who referred me to their service center. I do not care to put anymore money into this lousy lemon. I would feel so guilty to sell this second hand to anyone else! But I dont want it anymore! I have never, never, never had such a terrible appliance. When we spent several thousand dollars to buy this Samsung refrigerator, I had waited a long time to buy something that would last a while and be maintenance free. This has been anything but what I had hoped for. Wheres some help from our government to act upon the company that is stealing from consumers???

We bought this range, Samsung NX58H565OWS in October 2014. In 3 years of normal family usage, we have had to replace the thermal coupler twice. All the knobs that control the stove top have broken and the cast iron grates have even broken. In over 25 years of owning appliances, I have never had one that broke down in so many ways. Never had knobs or grates broken before and two thermo couplers??? To make matters worse, my local appliance repair company wont service Samsung, wish Id known that before I bought it, lesson learned. I understand why they wont service this badly constructed stove/range. When I contact Samsung for help, the first guy hung up on me. The second lady just sent me to the parts department so that I could purchase all the replacement parts I needed. Time to buy a new stove, never again will it be a Samsung. Really disappointed!

My Samsung French Door Refrigerator, model # RF32FMQDBSR/AA quit cooling after 12.5 months of use. It took two months and two visits from the technician to determine that the problem was with the sealed refrigeration system. The first trip the technician replace a circuit board and left immediately. This did not fix the problem. Communication with the Samsung provided service technician was very poor. At first the technician has excuses for not coming back then he just did not respond to calls. I called Samsung and requested another service company. They referred me back to the same guy. After each call I was would be called within 24 to 48 hours. Never happened. He did eventually come back (it has now been two months) and changed the temperature sensor. This did not fix the problem. He said the problem was in the sealed refrigeration system and could not be repaired. So I Called Samsung to ask how this would be handled. The sealed refrigeration system has a five year warranty. First, I was told that they would exchange the unit and would be contacted within 24 to 48 hours. Nothing! So I called back and they said they wanted a second opinion from a second technician and would be contacted within 24 to 48 hours. Again no response. So I called again and They had referred me back to the same company as before. When I told them that this is the same company as before they said they would look for another company and would be contacted within 24 to 48 hours. Again I had to call them to get a status. They said that they did not have a second company in the area to get the second opinion; therefore, they could not exchange the unit, and that I would be getting a refund instead. Every time I call it just gets worse. They say I will only get a partial refund. So I asked if the unit has a five year warranty on the sealed system how come I cannot get an exchange or get it repaired. Samsung customer executive care said the warranty is not valid because there is no service available in my area to fix the sealed system. You think they would replace it. Nope! It has now been over three months and I am waiting on the emails with the instructions on how I am to proceed.

Bought a Samsung side by side refrigerator when I moved into my house 3.75 years ago. Nothing but trouble. The ice maker actually still works fine (unlike other reviews); however, several shelves have broke and Ive had to order parts to replace. But the worst issue is at around 2.75 years the refrig just couldnt maintain cold - temp was above 50 degrees F. We had a control sensor installed ($375) and had to turn off unit for 3 days to defrost ice off of the fan blades. Refrigerator than 6 months later starts to not be able to hold cold temps again and temp is again above 50 degrees. But this time the digital thermometer read out on the door is showing that the temp in the refrig is 38 degree. Now were being told we need a new fan assembly (another $400). I could have bought a new refrigerator w/ all the money that has been spent repairing this hunk of junk. STAY AWAY!

I have had several stoves over my fifty-five years of marriage. The Samsung is the very best. It's a flat surface top that cleans very easy. The self clean oven works very well. It has a choice of regular oven or convection. I really like the convection oven. It cooks very well and evenly cooks every thing.

I have been a Samsung fan for a long time. For the first time ever we experienced an issue where Samsung was not able to provide us with a reasonable solution. We purchased a Samsung Oven Range in early November 2019. One of our oven knobs broke off in our hand two weeks after the warranty expired. Samsung requires close to $100 for a replacement knob. When I pulled off the other 4 knobs on our oven range I noticed that the neck of one other knob was also cracking. The knob necks are made of plastic. I read reviews on various community chat groups and apparently, there are many Samsung customers who experienced the same problem. If I were to buy all 5 of the Samsung replacement knobs it would literally cost me as much as I paid for the entire oven range new. If Samsung is interested, I found online a very simple inexpensive fix for broken knob necks, which can also be used to prevent future breakage of unbroken knobs. Will be glad to share.

The 1st Samsung fridge that I purchased from Bad Boys had both doors damaged. It took Samsung months to replace the doors via Elite Appliances...Bad Boys did not agree to replace the unit. The 2nd Samsung fridge that I purchase in June 2014 from Lowes (counter depth/all my appliances are Samsung..) is very loud. It sounds like a tractor. A tech attended my residence. He agreed that it was very loud. He opened the door to take a pic of the serial no. The noise stopped. He did not want to wait till the noise started again so he asked me to recorded and email it to him which I did. A few days later I received a text message from Elite Appliance advising that Samsung advised them that the sound was normal. I re contacted Samsung. I was advised that in case the tech determines that the sound was normal, I would be charged for the service. I booked the service anyway.

I purchased a Samsung Conventional Oven from Best Buy in August 2011. The stove worked great until now. I was preheating the oven to bake lasagna and could smell burning plastic. I looked in the oven to make sure there was nothing burning inside and there was nothing. As I closed the door and stepped back, sparks started shooting out of the stove top and smoke was everywhere. I had my two month old son and my three dogs with me in the kitchen. Luckily none of them were injured. The ash from the blowout was all over my kitchen. The breaker blew (thank god) and I immediately unplugged the stove. I could not see an obvious signs of a problem until I really looked at the back of the stove. Where the plug is connected was covered in black ash. I removed the panel to find that the area where the plug connects was completely melted.I have had this stove for almost four years now. THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED!! Im still scared to death that this could have caused a house fire or an injury to my son, myself or my dogs. I will be contacting Samsung to see what can be done. I have read horror stories about their customer support but I have my receipt and pictures to back me. This is UNACCEPTABLE!

The store where I purchased range will send tech out Mon. am for $100 to come out, then $60 every 15 min. plus parts and labor. My wife was warming up pizza in the oven and heard several popping/crackling sounds. She looked over at the oven and it was glowing orange from the back panel against the wall and smoking profusely with a burning electrical wire smell. She immediately shut off the oven and put the fire out with a fire extinguisher. This same thing has happened to multiple consumers and should be addressed by Samsung before someone dies. Great potential here to start a house fire and cause loss of life. My wife was lucky and happened to be nearby when this occurred.

I purchased all Samsung appliances after remodeling the kitchen. I did not do my homework and purchased my appliances based on the name. Wrong thing to do. My microwave worked about 14 months and then it had the SE code. I called Samsung and they would not fix it as it was out of warranty. I had it repaired myself. The repair lasted less than 2 months when the microwave quit and the SE code appeared again. So I have used for the past 3 years a reliable counter top microwave while I have the Samsung microwave over the oven and it does not work. Sad. I also purchased the refrigerator, side by side with ice and water in the door. The refrigerator just like the microwave started making this awful noise. It over freezes things no matter the setting. The ice maker quit, and again Warranty so Samsung says its my problem. I thought this was a quality company with quality merchandise. Please read the reviews and do not purchase Samsung. I could kick myself for not purchasing Kenmore. That was what we replaced when we remodeled. Our Kenmore Side by Side Refrigerator was almost 30 years old and still worked. Never had a problem with it. My sister took it for herself after we replaced it with the Samsung and three years later it is still running great. I am very upset and totally dissatisfied with my Samsung purchases.

We purchased a Samsung fridge 5 years ago. It had issues with the ice maker a few times, which were repaired. Most recently, the fan was making a REALLY loud noise, Samsung came out and we were told there is now corrosion in the plug of the fan and it is not repairable. Upon contacting Samsung we have been told we need to buy a new fridge and they offered us a 20% discount. The fridge is only 5 years old, we paid over $2.5k for it and now have no option to repair it other than to replace it. I wanted to warn others, as we had choices when we were buying and chose Samsung - we are now paying for that decision, literally. Looking online and doing some research Ive now found that there is a class action for THE EXACT SAME THING in the US - the ice maker breaking causing the fan to make a loud noise and eventually stop working. Im in shock that Samsung find it acceptable to tell me to buy a new fridge after only 5 years and only give me a 25% discount... I will never buy another Samsung fridge again and I hope this warns others to do the same. So disappointed. Here is the link to some summary details of the class action: **.

Last year, I bought an expensive top-of-the-line Samsung dishwasher. I thought this would be the best dishwasher I ever had. Boy, was I wrong. When my 15-year-old Sears Kenmore dishwasher died, it was doing a better job on dishes than this brand new $1000+ dishwasher. If I dont wash my dishes before I put them in, I have to wash them when I take them out. And they are never dry when they come out. I always have to dry them. My floor around my dishwasher is always wet because the dishes drip water when I take them out. And if I put 5 glasses in the top, 4 of the glasses have debris inside them when I take them out. I have to wash them again. Do not buy Samsung dishwashers. A used Kenmore will do a better job. I cant wait for this thing to break so I can get rid of it. What a piece of junk.

We purchased the WaterWall dishwasher, three rack on March 22/2016. But we did not have it delivered until mid May because we didn’t move into our house until then. We actually paid 999.00 for it. Up until 6 weeks ago we had no problems with it. We are a retired couple with no children in our home. I would load and use the dishwasher about every 2-3 days. Being only two of us, it wasn’t over worked at all. The Famous 7 E code came to our attention. Not knowing a whole lot about the dishwasher I contacted Samsung and basically got told, I had no warranty. To make matters worse I live 3.5 hours from a appliance repair company. Knowing we could not afford a call out fee for someone to travel to and from our home never mind the cost of the repair, we decided after reading so many complaints about this model we would buy a different brand. It would be cheaper in the long run. My only concern is that if youre going to buy a major appliance. Do your homework and look it up on the reviews. I wish I had done mine and I definitely wouldn’t have bought this machine.

$800 Samsung dishwasher leaked within the first few months. Tech never could fully resolve the issue. We purchased the nearly $200 extended warranty because we knew it was junk. 14 months in LE code and leaking again. Call Samsung warranty dept. and they send it out for repairs. Repair company calls to verify that we know its out of warranty. We so know, its extended. They say that they dont do extended warranty work. Call Samsung back and they so, Oh, you have to call this number for extended warranty claims. I say, That is the very number I called and go you. They transfer me and I give them all of the data again (model number, warranty number, etc.) This person says, Oh, you need extended warranty and proceeds to give me the number I first called.I called the number that apparently sends you to a bunch of sadists claiming to be Samsung and give them the whole spiel again. They ask for all of the data again and then to my horror tell me to call the same number I used to call them again. Finally after much pleading they say they made an appointment with a service company. One day later service company calls to verify that this is a non-warranty service call. Very nice lady at service company says that this literally happens all day with Samsung and that shes very sorry, but doubts they will ever send over the proper reference number for it to be covered under its extended warranty.I call Samsung again and explain the situation and I swear on the entire universe they tell me once again that I must call the very number I just called to be currently speaking to them. They then give me the standard warranty number that they had given me previously and was then told by them to call the number I had just used once again. I finally get a supervisor and beg them just to admit that they are going to scam me until Ive gone crazy and to please, as another human being just admit it so I can move on and just write off the $1000 as a lesson learned.Nope, this physical manifestation of evil known as the Samsung CSR Supervisor then proceeds to tell me that they are giving me the Top Secret number that will literally get people jumping on my warranty needs. I believe this is the number Obama would call should his dishwasher quit working. I kid you not, he reads off the exact same 800 number I used to call them all of the times in the past. I had no response as I believe I had a small aneurysm and fell to the floor.I keep the evil little stainless steel monster in the garage for the day that I see Samsung have an event at Lowes or Best Buy with reps in attendance in their bright blue Samsung Polos. I am going to wheel it in and smash its evil, water pumping (although most is pumped out of the bottom of the washer) heart right in front of them.

When I purchased my new home in July of 2010, I decided to buy my dream refrigerator along with it. I purchased the Samsung French door from Lowes for about $2500 - a real splurge for a single school teacher. I didnt get the extended warranty because I figured that anything that expensive would be well made with excellent customer service. Wrong on both counts. The first refrigerator lasted two weeks. The water spout wasnt working so Lowes told me to get a plumber. I had the plumber come and $100 later, the problem was still there. Finally, after a lot of complaining, Lowes switched it out for another one. I blamed the problem on Lowes, thinking they gave me a floor model. The replacement worked much better until I noticed snow on the right side of the freezer (about 6 months later). Of course I figured I did something wrong. I was still in denial that Samsung would sell a piece of junk for top dollar. I cleaned out the freezer and was careful about closing the door. Then I noticed the food in fridge would be completely soggy to the point where I had to throw things away. My biggest mistake was waiting a year and a half to call them. They told me to troubleshoot and go from there. This past holiday, the snow was so bad that my food was ruined in the freezer. I have gone the rounds with Samsung. They told me it will cost $500 and they will not pay any of it. Basically, what they are saying is it is okay for them to sell a product to a consumer for $2,500 and then expect a repair of 20% of that price in two years. Mind you, I am a single senior who barely opens the freezer or fridge for that matter. I take care of my things and never in all my years had to repair or replace any appliance owned. Samsung needs to make this right. They need to step up to the plate with integrity and replace all our defected refrigerators. Consumers have rights. It is illegal to sell someone something and not have it perform the function it was meant to do. I am boycotting all Samsung products and urging you to do the same. Please, please, please if you are considering a Samsung, please do not purchase. This refrigerator is defective.

My microwave suddenly began beeping and displayed a SE code. Upon reviewing internet comments, I realized it is a common problem amongst owners and there were various experiences in getting a repair. After spending 45 minutes on the chat line, I was referred to the customer service line. I called and was greeted by a very friendly representative. Unfortunately, I called Samsung US and was referred to Samsung CA. The ticket number he provided was not recognized in Canada so I had to go through the whole story again. They were willing to send a technician out but I need to provide a receipt. In my opinion, a Samsung product is a Samsung product. We bought a bottom-freezer fridge in June. It worked fine at first (although we were on vacation for 3 weeks in July and August). In August, water appeared on our floor, and was traced to a slow drip from the water dispenser. Samsung sent the problem to a local service shop, who told us to run 2-3 gallons through the dispenser to purge air from the lines. This had been done by installer; we did it and the drip persisted. The tech came to our house and reduced the water pressure. Drip persisted. NOW Samsung tells us that future service calls are our responsibility, for a new unit still on warranty!!

We purchased a complete Samsung kitchen from HHGregg 4 years ago when we upgraded our kitchen. Weve had issues with the ice maker freezing up almost since day one, but have continued to manually defrost. Now, heres the horror story. We returned home from Thanksgiving holiday to find our house flooded! Yep, you guessed it. The refrigerator was the culprit. It malfunctioned, and the inside of the fridge was literally filled with water! We had all hardwood floors, and every one of them has to be replaced, in addition to other repairs.Well, Samsung was quick to set up repair service through a third party contractor. The authorized repair person doesnt have a clue what hes doing. And, like Samsung, their customer service is the worst. I spoke to a Samsung rep again today, and expressed I did not want this refrigerator, that I wanted a new one. I got what I perceive to be the standard answer, and thats your appliance is no longer warranted, and all we can do is to repair it for you. What kind of crap is that when you have thousands of complaints about your defective product? After reading the complaints here, I noticed a few persons recommending a class action lawsuit. Were in for sure. Im done with Samsung appliances and after $50,000 in damages and repairs I certainly feel Im justified!

I even told them Let me know how much it will cost if it is not covered but I have not received any response. It has been more than a month now. Bottom Line: Do not buy a Samsung Dishwasher. All my other Dishwashers used to last at least 10 to 15 years.

Purchased this Samsung Dishwasher DW80F600UTS in February 2015, several problems occurred during the first year. Three repair visits to the house toward the end of the first year of the warranty. Soap dispenser would not open, etc. Circuit board replaced. Samsung refused to replace this lemon. Now as we come to the end of the second year, problems once again. Error code for leakage. There is no leak, and dishwasher will not operate. It just continues to run the pump. Samsung will no longer fix, claiming it is now out of warranty. The dishwasher lasted less than two years. Unfortunately I used my Lowes credit card, I understand if I would have used VISA, MASTERCARD, etc. they may have automatically covered up to an additional year. I will never buy another Samsung dishwasher! This dishwasher is unreliable and Samsung customer service does not stand behind this product.

Mine stopped working right after the one year warranty expired and has the flashing lights. Called a local appliance repair guy and he told me he does not repair Samsung. Why? Because they keep breaking down and he has to keep coming back to replace parts at his cost. Customers think it’s his fault, but after reading this blog, we all know the problem is Samsung. My other Samsung appliances are not great either. I just purchased a new highly rated Kenmore from Sears. After checking Consumer Reports, Samsung has the worst frequency of repairs of all brands. Stay away from Samsung and don’t listen to salespeople. Do your own research first and buy a dependable brand. Anybody want to buy a lightly used dishwasher? LOL.

This is a horrible dishwasher (DW80F600UTS). It has average performance for cleaning dishes and horrible drying capabilities. I have had to make 2 service calls for major repair within a 2 year period. Both for the same issue. There are so many online reviews with the same issues and many others. Samsung will not stand behind their product and have been no help at resolving the issue. This is a lemon and should be recalled.

My freezer would not freeze the contents and I called a repair company. They have been back 5 TIMES so far and the problem still exists! They have informed me that Samsung (unlike other manufacturers) do not have a technical support group to help identify problems for their refrigerator products. This really sucks and I will never ever buy another SAMSUNG product that does not offer tech support for the product I am purchasing. I have now been without a working freezer for nearly the entire summer. Shame on you Samsung! If you cant support your products with tech support, dont try and sell them to us in the public sector. I am extremely angry and will share this with everyone that I can.

Samsung refrigerator rf217 - Purchased it from Sears along with service contract. Within weeks the veg containers filled with water- have had the repair service here at least 9 times for same issue. Its now near the limit of coverage and the water is still coming into the veg area and icing up. The repair service admits that the Samsung ref is trouble. I will also add that there is a crack in the plastic in the area where the two top doors meet. Can find no cause for this other than poor quality. The issues were the vent blocked so cant breathe. This happened till the entire inside back panel was replaced- build up of frost in freezer told door didnt close properly the- that the ref wasnt balanced enough somewhere. There is a list of excuses. Bottom line Samsung knew of the issue. Just read the booklet that comes with the product and the number of times they mention water build up. Its cheaper for them to rewrite the book than correct the problem.UPDATE ON 05/28/2018: Its near the end of the 5 year service contract - the same problems have never been removed - tipping back replacing fan - wires - back panel etc. The service was here twice this month. Called today. Went through all the repairs for same issue. Sabrina said she would put me on hold then came back. Said she couldnt hear me and hung up -- I called back. Went over everything again with a man this time. He informed me that the tech had to come to repair and if the tech felt it couldnt be fixed then they would replace. Was told I could file a replacement for lost food. I have had it with stalling the ice and water in the veg containers has gone on from the time I bought the thing to present and its still not fixed. Still filling with water ice and rotting the food and now I am told that the tech must attempt to fix the problem before they will replace it. Am fed up with Sears Samsung and the quality of home appliances - doesnt even rate one star. Would rate it a minus if I could so its one star and thats even too much.

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator on July 30, 2014. It stopped cooling 32 days later. They have been out twice to try repairs, and it seems that each time they replace a bad part, another part requires replacement to get it cooling. The bottom line is that I have been without refrigeration for over three weeks, and Samsungs techs cant seem to replace enough parts to get the piece of junk cooling. I have zero confidence in the product and its repair technicians. I am stuck with this turkey because the Home Depot where I purchased it will not honor its in-store or corporate return policy.

First I bought a refrigerator newest model. After 1 year and a month it broke. We called Samsung and they said first available person will be in 3 weeks!! All food in the garbage. In 3 weeks the repairer came and said that is fixed. Again shopping and after we saw that actually is not working. Again all food went in the garbage . Called customer service they said to wait another one month for another repairer!!! So 2 months with no refrigerator! After 2 months the repairer came and said that he cannot do anything the refrigerator is broken and cannot be fixed. In one year brand new refrigerator cannot be fixed! Also we bought a electric gas range which was not fitting by size together with another Samsung appliance. I requested to return the electric range and they didn’t returned my money! I called multiple times and been told that because I returned just one piece from my order they cannot refund me for the electric range!!! So out of 3000$ for the refrigerator and out of 1700$ for the electric range!!! They don’t answer to emails and on phone calls put me on hold for 2-3 hours and then just hang out! Will never be using Samsung again!!

We purchased a suite of samsung appliances to upgrade our kitchen. We have had problems with literally every piece. Never again. We have the DMT800RHS. This dishwasher has never dried acceptably since day one. It usually leaves food particles. We have learned to inspect dishes as we remove them. We have a perpetual drying mat on the counter. We leave the door slightly ajar when not in use to keep the unit dry. It seems to cut down on the odors. We run a vinegar clean cycle every other month to keep the drains clean. This seems to have solved the intermittent drain code problem. We wipe the seal with a rag every week to prevent sludge build up and seal leaks. My 20 year old car requires less maintenance. After reading many of these reviews I almost feel fortunate. We now have the rack handles dissolving. It seems like the detergent (or possible the vinegar cleaning required for the odor problem) has broken down the rubber to the point it is flaking off and sticking to the dishes. We took a scrapper and removed as much as we could. Hope some of these tips may help some of you get by until you can replace this horrible appliance. Just never again...

If I knew then what I know now about the poor workmanship on this unit I would have not purchased a Samsung. Of all the refrigerators I have purchased over the years this one is the worst. Ice maker constantly freezing up, water leaks under the crispy drawer and freezes up to a point where we can’t open drawer. Need to remove drawer and chip away the ice to free the drawer temporary until the need to break away the ice again, about once every 3 to 4 weeks. Totally disappointed with my Samsung refrigerator and would not recommend any of my friends or family members to purchased one.

My elderly parents bought this refrigerator and after thirteen months began having issues. They would send someone out but it would be 2 weeks. I told them of their health issues, my dad is a heart patient and diabetic and we really needed something pretty quick. I was also told from customer service you should always have a back up refrigerator. I asked, Who could afford two refrigerators, and where would you put two? The tone got worse and then I was just pretty much angered with his non-caring attitude. Not to mention that only very few technicians are certified to do a service call. I called Sears and they generously offered 3 days sooner. Very honest and tried to offer other options to try such as unplugging the unit for 2 days in case it had froze up, before spending money my parents did not have on their fixed income. We were never told to try anything from Samsung, to maybe save the expense to a sick, elderly couple. I was told that the minimum amount would be around $685.00 for the visit. Needless to say, we took his advice to unplug the unit for 2 days then restart. At least Sears tried to offer an alternative for us. Have lost food/beverages twice, still no refrigerator/ice maker, etc. Enough air flowing to not be eligible for warranty for a big part such as compressor, etc. Will probably be replaced ASAP b/c that is more than half the price it cost to begin with. After two weeks, they are living from a dorm size refrigerator and a Yeti cooler for ice. With their customer service, me along with my parents are done with Samsung. Sad to say on reviews on this particular type, they are messing up at about the 13-month mark. There is no excuse for a nice, new refrigerator to tear up with barely over a year of use. Never again! Very frustrated, not to mention the anguish my parents are going through. When you buy something that expensive, you expect it to last a while. I have had my Kenmore side-by-side for almost 20 years so we have learned a lesson. But the main lesson is all about the attitude you give the person on the other end of that phone. Try to be a little sympathetic to an elderly persons situation Samsung! Going to try to find another one after their check comes the first of the month. Another several days.

Unit is a slide in model. Stove top heats quickly and two of the large burners have multi size heat areas. Oven temperature is accurate, easily holds two large dutch ovens simultaneously, has a large viewing window and a bread proofing function. We bought this at HHGregg in June 2015 for $2000. Thought it would be our last refrigerator. No such luck! Nine months after buying it, it started making loud noises and freezing up inside the back wall. For all practical purposes, their customer service is non existent! Got passed from one to the other, asking the same questions over and over, like the model #, serial #, etc. Asked irrelevant things like how many Samsung products we owned. Then said it probably wasnt level and to look under it! Totally insane! Got nowhere so called the store that sold it to us and they finally got in touch with a rep who set up the repair. Thought that was the end of it but three months later, around July 1st this year, the clanging noise returned and it wasnt cooling properly! Same problem with icing and fan. Now it is one month out of warranty! Called previous repair company and they couldnt come for over two weeks! Tried Angies List and Home Advisor. Got call backs but they stated outright that they wouldnt work on Samsung appliances because of shoddy workmanship and numerous problems! Finally got someone to look at it. He tested it and said two motherboards were burnt out, along with needing new fan, thermostats (plural), etc. Said parts come from overseas and could take months and it would be over $1000 to fix, with no guarantee it would last! We cant go without a refrigerator so ended up junking it and buying a new one. Not Samsung! Never again! So for 13 months, we had a pretty appliance that doesnt work! These obviously should have been recalled! Were back to the top freezer model, recommended by the repairman and this time bought a 4 year warranty. Its disgusting that they can sell such junk and are not stopped! It was an expensive $2100 mistake!

I purchased my Samsung refrigerator (Side By Side # RS267TDRS) in July 2012. It has been serviced 7 times since then for the same issue. The refrigerator continues to have ice build up and fails about every 6 to 8 months. I purchased at Sears and got the service contract. What a mistake. Samsung refused to back up anything. I own multiple Samsung appliances ranging from the Refrigerator to TVs to DVRs. They have lost me as a customer. I would never buy another of their products. I have called their Customer Service and get the same lame excuse: You are out of warranty. Well I wouldnt be out of warranty if it hadnt been fixed by Sears under the service contract the first time. I have spent over $700.00 on a $1600.00 refrigerator in the first for years of ownership. What a sad, pathetic company.

We have had our French door, bottom freezer refrigerator for about 4 years. The ice maker has never worked more than a few weeks at a time (I have to use a blow dryer to melt the ice build up to get it working again). Finally called Samsung for service. There are a couple main problems with the refrigerator (Samsung Refrigerato
There are a couple main problems with the refrigerator (Samsung Refrigerator Model RF323TEDBSR/AA):1. There is a design flaw in the upper ice dispenser. When you select cubed ice, the dispenser crushes about 1/3 to 1/2 of the ice cubes. The problem lies in the design of the module. The opening to the ice chute is just too small and/or too close to the crusher mechanism which is just above the ice chute. The auger feeds more ice per given amount of time (seconds) than can fall through the hole to the chute before building up a pile at the hole. As this pile of ice builds up, it eventually begins to feed into the crusher mechanism. This results in about one third to one half of the cubes being crushed. Samsung technical support asked us to empty and reset the ice module but it made no difference. Finally my wife called them and had to escalate to the upper tier of support and they sent a second module but we found no difference in performance.2. The second problem is with the overall quality of the refrigerator. The hinge/pins for the drawer lids broke within the first couple months of ownership. These are little plastic pins, which are about 1/2 the diameter of a pencil, that allow the clear plastic lid to swing open upward when you pull the crisper or meat/cheese drawers out. I fixed them by drilling them out and inserting a wooden dowel rod and securing them with some industrial strength glue. Theyve held for almost a year now like that.3. Finally, the silver finish is flaking off the control/menu panel. This is a cosmetic flaw I understand but for a 1 year old product this is absolutely unacceptable. Samsung refused to do anything for us on this and my wife was adamant that there should be some replacement part shipped but they refused.Overall we are finding out that the refrigerator is just poor quality. We purchased the refrigerator because it had all the features we wanted. The second ice maker in the lower freezer drawer was a big reason we bought it. Now we have to open that drawer and dig out the ice cubes for our drinks if we dont want crushed ice which is all we can get from the front dispenser.I also wanted to make a comment about the water filter. The Aqua Fresh filters that are rated to be a match for the Samsung model HAF-CIN are of poor quality. I had a 3-pack of filters and the first filter worked without any issues for many months. Then the indicator light came on telling me it was time to replace the filter. The second and 3 filters from that pack leaked water into the drawer just below the filter. I ultimately had to replace them with the Samsung filter. This is not a Samsung complaint, but rather for information so others know my experience with the off-brand filters.

After two years, my Samsung SRS594HNSS two-door fridge started to freeze over on the left inside vent. It stopped working shortly after. I had the fridge for 2 1/2 years. When I contacted Samsung, who put me on to their agent, he installed a kit which cost me with labor $AU250. It took five weeks for the kit to come and it was over two months before the job was done. The fridge is now freezing over again. Samsung said it was out of warranty. I told Samsung that no one would buy an expensive fridge that would only last 2 1/2 years. It has been four months now since I contacted Samsung and their agent and the fridge is now 2 years and ten months old. I rang Samsung and they said the kit was under warranty and to call their agent again. The agent wants to charge me all over again for the labor. The agent for Samsung said that he had installed lots of these kits and never had any trouble, which makes me think it is a fault in the fridge. Samsung said it wasnt. Why the kit then? The complaints department staff were courteous and helpful. I realize it is not their fault, but a company policy. I had to buy another fridge during the hot Australian summer while waiting for the repair to be done. I am disappointed with Samsung as I have bought their products before including an expensive washing machine. I wont be buying any Samsung products from now on if they dont do the right thing by me.

I purchased a new Samsung refrig 267 that has had a few service issues. The ice maker is very noisy and does not work smoothly, but the largest issue is the cooling system that leaks water and freezes under the cool pantry drawer. I had an authorized service agent come to fix the problem, but after an hour and a service charge, he said it was not repairable. Yesterday a person called at 1030 hrs. He said he was the Samsung pick-up guy. He inquired for the address and location route to the flat, which was shared to him by my colleague. He said he would reach in 1 hours time. I rushed to my previous address (God Summit, Hennur Main Road) and reached at 1120 hrs. I waited and waited! He called me at 1200 hrs and inquired for the route to the place again, which was given to him. He said that, he would reach in 30 minutes time. I waited and waited! At 2000 hrs, he calls me for the third time and says that he is stuck in Koramangala and cannot make it! He said that, he will pick-up the fridge today at 1200 hrs! I left for my new home at 2010 hrs and reached at around 2145 hrs. Can you even begin to imagine what it was to WAIT in an ABSOLUTELY EMPTY flat, that just has a non-functional refrigerator in it, from 1120 hrs till 2010 hrs? My patience is wearing thin sir(s)/madam(s)! 01 June 2016 09:59 - Thank you for your telco the past two days. I was expecting the issue to be resolved on the 30th of May, 2016. (It is what Ajay told me), but I guess the subsequent call on the same day is acceptable to indicate to me a new deadline of 1st May, 2016. I am hoping there will be no further delays. I will wait for a call and action on-ground.30 May 2016 12:24 - I take no pride in writing this, but people just ought to know that Samsung is probably the worst brand, ever! This goes out to as many consumers, the world over, through SMS, Facebook, Linkedin, Yahoo Messenger, Google and through other personal platforms. There has seldom been a case of such gross neglect and inconsideration towards a PAYING customer. It is apparent that, Samsungs post sales completely suck and we, consumers, are left to contemplating why we even considered Samsung as a global brand with global, international and far-reaching processes. What I have experienced, after purchasing a high-end Samsung refrigerator (805 litre/French model/Rs. 1,68,000), has been excruciating and far from the standards expected out of companies and Brands that have grown owing to consumers buying into promises galore.Allow me the pleasure to elaborate, why I believe, Samsung is a terrible Brand and company. Background: I purchased, from Croma, Kalyan Nagar, Bangalore, India, the Samsung Refrigerator (805 litre/French model) approximately 5 years ago, paying Rs. 1,68,000. Before the warranty expired (1 year), the cooling system ceased to function. The Samsung engineers took close to 15 days to resolve the issue, while all the meats and perishable foods rotted and lay waste. Since then and till date, the refrigerator has FAILED 5 times. Each time, the Samsung engineers and their so called TRUSTED Partners, have been late to visit, even later to rectify but absolute when it came to CHARGING me. Each time, I would be paying for different line elements, where the FAILURE in cooling remained constant. Its like theyre shooting off from a book of 101 best reasons to charge a customer. The recent apathy: The recent case has certainly brought me to my senses and has clearly demonstrated Samsungs intent. Theyre simply out to MAKE MONEY and literally intent to CHEAT customers. 9 months ago, my refrigerator STOPPED cooling, again for the 5th time in 5 years. I called in the Samsung so-called experts, who post a great deal of debate and argument, came in to conduct repairs. I briefed them on each issue of the past, the same non-cooling problem. I was indicated that a permanent solution will be in place, for the 5th time. Work completed. The fridge seemed fine, as usual, after the 2 day long repair work, which left my home in a mess. I was CHARGED again and that is quite obvious. I personally feel that CHARGING a customer is fine provided work delivered is up to standards and promises given to us.I was told that there will no further problems, but standard policies mean that the warranty on COOLING is for 6 months only. On the 12th of March, 2016: The Samsung fridge STOPPED cooling again and this time both the freezer and the remainder of the unit. On the 15th of March, 2016: I decided to shift residence (From Gold Summit, Hennur Main Road, Bangalore to Berlie Street, Langford Town Bangalore). I therefore decided to use TWO refrigerators at my new residence. So I ended up buying a new Samsung refrigerator, which I am currently using, since the 16th of March, 2016. The previous Samsung fridge I turned off completely. As I was shifting residence, I decided to have the first Samsung fridge Permanently and Completely fixed, then tested, post which to be moved to my new residence. On the 24th of May, 2016: I called the Samsung toll free number and shared my displeasure at the break-down of the fridge and also completely briefed them regarding my plans to shift of the 28th of May, 2016. The executive assured me that Samsung will help. On the 25th of May, 2016 @ 1932 hrs: I received an sms saying that a service engineer by name of Irfan has been assigned to my case, with the service request number **. I did not receive any calls from the person nor anybody at Samsung. So on the 26th of May, 2016, I called Irfan who then said that, he cannot handle the case as it has been wrongly assigned to him. I was asked to call the toll free number again. This was at 2130 hrs.On the 27th May, 2016 @ 0945 hrs: I called the toll free number and spoke to one Ms. **. I had to repeat the entire apathy/episode to her and she too, like every previous Samsung rockstar, told me that she will help me. I briefed her regarding the fact that, I needed to shift my residence and the date that, I needed to get the work done was before the 28th of May, 2016. On the 27th May, 2016 @ 1221 hrs: I received another sms saying that, my complaint was noted and that, the engineer, one Mr. ** was assigned to my case. The service order number was **. On the 27th May, 2017 @ 2000 hrs approximately: ** visits my home at the Gold Summit, Hennur Main Road, Bangalore, inspects the fridge, understands my issue, takes a photograph of the recent bill from LR Enterprises (A Samsung Partner) and tells me that he will now instruct LR Enterprises to come in the morning, the next day, and have the fridge taken away for repairs. He said that, LR Enterprises will take the fridge, repair it, test it and then install it at my new residence. He said that, this will be done first half on the 28th of May, 2016. (The days that I was scheduled to move my residence to Berlie Street). On the 28th of May, 2016: Nobody came, called and when I called ** at 1230 hrs, he says that, he has already passed the case to his office and that he cannot help further. I then called the Samsung toll free and miraculously, the first service/complaint done on the 24th of May, 2016, did not show and only the service/complaint on the 27th of May, 2016, seems to be showing. Anyways, I briefed the Samsung call executive regarding the CHALLENGE and she assured me that someone from R Logistics (The Samsungs partner company, for whom ** works for will call me.)Imagine my plight, its 1230 hrs, and I am alone at my place because all my materials have left for my NEW place, waiting for someone from Samsung to call me. Nobody did. I called the toll free number again and had to debrief a new executive on the line regarding the entire issue. She promised to Send R Logistics a reminder. I dont know what Samsung call center was doing/did, but nobody called me. AT 1430 hrs, I called the Samsung call center again and had to brief a fresh executive on the apathy and like any of previous experiences she said that a reminder will be sent. I then spoke to **, who said that he just cannot help further because he had transferred the case. I asked him for his bosss number and he gave me 3 LAN line numbers: **. ** told me to speak to one Ms. **.On the 28th of May, 2016 from 1445 hrs: I placed 4 calls to each of the numbers provided by **, that means a total of 12 calls, and not once did anyone answer the phone. I called ** back, who said that maybe ** was in a meeting and I should be calling her after 30 minutes. I called each of the numbers 3 times, totaling 9 attempts and nobody even answered the phone. I called the Samsung toll free line and, imagine this, had to brief a FRESH person all over again, from the start. ALL this while materials that have left from this location to my new home and cannot get off-loaded as I am onsite waiting for Samsung to move the fridge. The Samsung executive on call told me that a reminder will be sent and that someone from Samsung will get to me immediately.Nobody called. At 1630 hrs, somebody at R Logistics, answered the phone (**) and this is the heights because, when I asked to speak with Ms. **, the lady tells me that she is busy and just hangs up the phone. I redialed and requested her again to put Ms. ** on, as it was an emergency. She obliged, and when Ms. ** answered and I had to debrief her again and from the start. Ms. ** assured me that she will speak with ** and call me back immediately. She did not call and when I called back the same number, after 45 minutes, nobody answered. I called ** again, who finally gave me the number of one Mr. R ** (**) and told me that he would be the person from LR Enterprises who will handle my issue. 9 times I called Mr. **. First six times, no answer. Next 2 times, phone busy. 9th time, he answers. I briefed Mr. **, who seemed to not have any idea about the issue. After listening to my plight, he says that I will need to speak to one Mr. **.He gives me ** number, which was the wrong number. 9 times after that, Mr. ** failed to answer his calls. I even sent an sms to Mr. ** requesting for ** number, but till now have received zero revert. Since then I placed 22 calls to all of the 3 numbers provided to me by ** and nobody answered the phone. At around 1815 hrs, when I called for the 23rd time, someone answered the phone. I literally begged to speak with Ms. **. Now I could hear the lady call out to ** and this is exactly what I heard over the phone I am quoting her and in English, Just put down the phone. I tried the number 6 times again, and nobody answered my calls. I called the toll free line again, briefed a new person, again, who then actually told me that its the 30th of May, 2016 and 1022 hrs: Nobody from Samsung has even bothered to call/sms. My high-end Samsung fridge (805 liter/French model), which I paid Rs. 1,68,000 at Croma, still remains in my old home. While I am getting my new home in place, I am so concerned wrt the entire treatment meted out to me. To summarize: Samsung rates, according to me, as one of the WORST Brands in the world, given the way they have treated, and continue to treat me.

Ditto on all the above comments. Unfortunately we did not see the reviews before our dishwasher purchase 1 yr ago. Just like others have commented on, dishes werent cleaning, drying, or finishing cycles. And dont forget about all the blue sensor lights flashing all the time without any indication of the problem. Service came out and told us its the Display Unit that needs to be fixed. A $300.00 part, even though we just paid $600.00 for it brand new a yr ago. Contacted customer service to explain our issue, and they said there is nothing they could do and good luck. At the same time they were servicing my Samsung dishwasher, they were trying to fix the Samsung refrigerator that we bought on the same day. REALLY! Both appliances have problems at the same time? How nice for Samsung. So after paying 2 service fees on the same day for 2 appliances, we have decided to throw the dishwasher out in the driveway and put a sign on it saying FREE - Junk. We did mention to customer services about all the horrible reviews, and they could careless because they know more unaware consumers are going to make the bad choice of buying anything from Samsung.

We bought a Samsung stove 5 weeks ago, and purchased the 5 yr extended warranty. We were told this would ensure quick response on appliance issues. It has worked well for 5 weeks. Last week while baking @ 350, we heard something crackling and opened the oven to find the inside door glass had completely spider-cracked and glass fell everywhere the inside of the oven. Since the stove was only 5 weeks old and we had the 5 yr extended warranty, a simple door replacement would solve the issue.15 phone calls (store, 3rd-party service company, Samsung) and several days later we are frustrated. The first roadblock was getting someone to arrange a service call. After sending a copy of the store receipt, there was more delay while the 3rd party service company had Samsung validated the receipt - seriously? Finally they call to dispatch a tech, and was told they are coming to access and take a picture to evaluate the need. I offered to take the picture and email it, and again indicated that replacing the oven door would solve the issue. So today, the 3rd party company called saying Tech was on the way. Tech shows up (no part), takes a picture and notes yes, the door glass is defective and leaves. Its now 8 days and counting with no functioning oven, and no ETA. Ive reached out to the Lowes store Manager (who has been very helpful, but also hamstrung by the same bureaucracy with 3rd party maintenance company & Samsung procedures). While I like the 2 Samsung appliances I own, given this first customer service experience, I would not purchase another Samsung appliance. We all know Appliances will break - but if one cant get a NEW appliance serviced even with the 5 yr extended warranty... Purchase from a different brand that supports good warranty service.

My old refrigerator had a water dispenser and the water tasted fine. It did not have a water filter. I got the new Samsung with a water filter, and right away, the water tastes bad. I changed to a new water filter and did everything they told me to do like flushing out the filter, and the water still tastes bad. What can I do to get good water again? I do not want a refrigerator that I cant use the water feature.

I purchased a Samsung French door in Aug. 2015 from PC Richard with extended warranty for 15 years. I noticed frozen crisper bins in Nov. 2017 and contacted PC Richard. After five days, two servicemen showed up for a scheduled repair. They then stated the kit was ordered and I have to wait 3-5 business days. I read online the kit can be purchased the same day. This problem with Samsung is rampant. The servicemen then stated the newer refrigerators do not have the problem. Then my question is: Why would Samsung sell a product knowing there is a defect? My family had the same problem with their Samsung refrigerator.

When I purchased the dishwasher, it was quiet, cleaned great and all of the dishes were dry at the end of the wash. After 1 year, the dishwasher leaked significant water to the point my Pergo floor was ruined. After year 3, the dishwasher sounds like a chainsaw every time I turn it on. It is a shame because it was a nice dishwasher initially, but IS NOT durable whatsoever. For the cost ($500) it should work for more than 1-4 years.

I purchased my Samsung French Door refrigerator from Home Depot in 2018. In less than two years the ice maker broke requiring out of warranty service. The door bin cover snapped off. The freezer slide out wheel snapped off. And now the freezer is not freezing food. This is a $3000+ refrigerator and is total junk. Stay away from Samsung major appliances.

Not enough clearance head room was allowed in storage drawer for pot lids.
Not enough clearance head room was allowed in storage drawer for pot lids. It looks OK when looking at drawer at the store but dont get fooled. Half the time its impossible to open because it gets jammed because of handles. One lid up, one lid down etc. If I knew that issue I would never have bought this stove.
