When I walked into the showroom, I saw this Viking refrigerator and I liked the look of it. Viking has a good name too. When I made the purchase, the reps I dealt with were good and helpful. Ive had my Viking refrigerator for about three weeks now and I like it overall. However, there are some things I have some issues with. The refrigerator is so-called commercial and the compressors are a little louder than I would have expected. Also, the ice bin is trash. There are major problems with it. For one, there is a lower side in the back so when the ice fills up and you pull the ice bin out, the ice falls into the track. When you try to close it, the ice gets crushed in there and you have a hard time closing it. The ice bin also leaks so it freezes over the wires that are underneath the ice bin. At some point, that is probably gonna be an issue. Another issue is the toe kick although its not a big deal. They just didnt put it on yet and I cant figure out how to do it. On the other hand, I like the pizza box holder at the bottom. And although I didnt like these at first, I now like the automatic closing doors, as well as all the meat and vegetable compartments. It is also very bright inside the refrigerator. I like the lights.

We happened to get a very good deal on the Viking range that we saw. The quality is good. But we had a problem with the thermostat. It wasnt keeping temperature. So we had to have it replaced recently and well see if that will resolve the problem. Other than that, we had a very good experience with the team at the Viking dealer. We bought appliances from them before. They were knowledgeable, low pressure, and local.

We researched Viking and Wolf, and we decided to go with Viking. The sales rep at Best Buy kind of talked us into it when we went and started pricing out and looking at all the different merchandise. Then when we heard that we could get a 5% cashback by purchasing them, that was the determining factor. The look of our Viking range is stunning. We love how it cooks everything evenly. We bought the range and we bought the French wall oven. We like both of them. Weve been trying to clean the wall oven and we are a little confused on that because you put water because it’s a steam clean, and it’s just different than what were used to how an oven cleans. My husband put some water in it and then turns it on to self-cleaning. It just didnt clean as much as we thought. We bought the hood, the range, the wall oven, the microwave and we have been waiting six months for a fridge and freezer that we purchased as well. But I left a message this morning because I have not received any of my rebates when I went online and did all that. I called at 9:00 and I chose mountain time because we live in Colorado, and they said that they were closed, but it was almost nine oclock and I havent heard anything back. They have not returned my phone call, too.

I had some friends with Viking refrigerators and I liked its style such as the outside of the door and the way it looks in the kitchen. Theyre well-made and I like the interior spacing of the shelving. The drawers are nice and wide too. Im very comfortable with Viking and I had a good experience with them.

Delivery was OK, however delivery man could not turn-on the fridge, they told me to look at the manual. Noticed that the door to the freezer was not centered, and the lights shining into the freezer were not working. Called Viking, they told me the local service person would fix the door and the lights, I should get a call from the service person in 2 days. After 2 days drove to the service person’s address, the place looked like the home of the Adams’ family. Called back Viking, asked for another service person, was told that I would get a call back from Viking in 2 days.2 days later no call from Viking, so I called them, recited my story, was placed on hold for a good 15 minutes and was told that another service person, would be at my house the same afternoon. That afternoon service person fixed the lights, and repositioned the freezer door. I expected better service from Viking after spending $3,500.00 on one of their refrigerator. New problem now, the inside of the vegetable crisper freezes, I’ve lowered the inside temperature to 39 degrees, but no joy. I’m not sure if I want to call Viking Customer Service once again, to have this fixed.

Viking is known as a higher end appliance, and were really happy with the quality of our refrigerator. The ice maker is louder than I would like, but it doesnt go off that often. I really like the amount of capacity in the refrigerator because for this size of refrigerator that we were looking at, Viking has the highest capacity. Go ahead and buy a Viking fridge.

I’ve had two other Viking kitchens and I like the quality and the look of the product. The cost is a little bit high. But I like having the broiler in the oven. It’s high temp so it’s easy to cook indoors when you can’t go outside to grill. The appliance dealer was very difficult to deal with. They provided no information as to the status where my stuff was. So I actually had to get Kevin Brown, the CEO of Viking involved. Everything’s here now but if I had I not gotten Kevin involved this could’ve gone on forever. The customer service of Viking and the inside sales manager did a fabulous job at pulling us out of the ditch. Viking itself handled themselves very well. And I would tell a friend to give Viking Ranges a shot. It’s a good product,

We bought a house that had a Viking stove installed by the contractor. We are happy with the stove. The range that we have, the stove unit and the hood, is fine. It lights when I turn the gas on and works good, but we were a little disappointed that our brand new Viking refrigerator had to be serviced within a year. Plus, we have a dishwasher that has never worked at all. There’s a warranty provided but its been a real disappointment. We’ve had much cheaper washer that performed ten times better than this one.

Three years ago we built our dream home and in it we decided to go high end on all the kitchen appliances. Our oven/range and dishwasher were both Viking. In fairness to all reading this...I love my Viking oven/range. I got the 48 version with 6 burners and a griddle and two ovens. The only thing I regret about it is I wish I had gotten a larger griddle rather than two extra gas burners.So, that being said, I could not be more disappointed in our Viking dishwasher. It NEVER washed the dishes well and drying the dishes was also a big disappointment. We paid over $1200.00 for a dishwasher that not only performs absolutely horribly, but also has started to fall apart. Within two years (of course it broke after the first year because it only had a one year warranty) the L.E.D. displays have already lost half of their lights. One of the folding dish holders in the bottom section has already broken. And this is with just my wife and I living at this home, and for the first year it was our second home.I did call the company I bought it from even though it was out of warranty to see if Viking may actually come through and take care of it, but was told that they wouldnt. Elite Appliances in Dallas is who we bought it through. When Elite gave me the name of someone who could come look at it, the trip charge alone was going to be $125.00. When I inquired what he thought the cost to repair the L.E.D. display...well over $400.00.I am in the real estate investment business and have remodeled well over 100 properties. Ive used nearly every major brand you can imagine and the Kenmore Elite series dishwasher that I paid about 1/3 of the cost of the Viking in our previous home was much more efficient. Let me clarify. The Kenmore worked. The Viking doesnt. Avoid them. Overpriced and under performing piece of junk.

The Viking range I have is really, really good so far. And my wife would probably say that the oven is what she liked best. It works great. We set it and it does its job. The dealers were friendly and very knowledgeable. Everything went well. With the exception of Pacific Sales that sold them to us, they were the worst people in the history of mankind. But Viking itself was great.

We just moved, and we thought of buying a nice set of appliances when we remodeled our home. We bought an all-in-one fridge, a dishwasher, and a stove top range oven and hood from Viking. We also bought a Viking refrigerator back in 2012, and we didn’t have a good experience with that one. They had the drain set up, and we had issues with that the whole time we had it. They told us that it was just the way it was made. So, when we went with Viking again, they told us that their refrigerators are designed differently now, so we shouldn’t run into the same issues that we had. So, we went with a larger version of the same fridge.We also got an oven range, but it has a little issue with the way it was set up. So, I had the general manager from Main call me, and it sounded like he knew what the issue was. He said that it was something in the way it got set up, and they should be able to fix it. So, they’re coming to fix that. However, trying to find someone to come help with it is hard because there’s no one to service it in this area. But other than that, I’m happy with Viking.

I’ve owned Viking before, and I like the features they had on this particular model. It’s easy to purchase. But Ive had to contact them multiple times. It’s a piece of garbage. It’s broken multiple times. We have a two oven model. The oven will go into self-cleaning mode and lock, even though we’re not trying to clean, we’re trying to cook. And it’ll take days to get the oven unlocked with food stuck in it. Ovens will just die because they won’t heat properly. We have the electric oven with the gas burners. And so, we’ve had failure to heat multiple times as well, with defective relays, defective elements. It’s also very hard to get a serviceperson to come. And when they come, they dont fix it. One problem has recurred and not been repaired several times, and then, I had another problem as well. They always try to charge me for the call, even though it was under warranty. I would never buy Viking again.

I havent used my Viking range enough yet, but the product quality is great. The team dealer was good and Id recommend them.

We’ve previously lived in houses and in rentals that had Viking in them and I know that it’s a good brand. And when we were looking at the appliances, there was a couple that fitted in our budget and we also looked at the style of the oven. We looked at Wolf and Sub-Zero, and Viking, just a combination of the style, price, and functionality, won out over those.We bought a Viking refrigerator and a range from an online company out of New Jersey. It came from the factory and it looked like it had been packed up with a dent in the door. It was underneath all the packaging and theres no kind of dents in the packaging. It was difficult to figure out how to get that repaired on someone else’s dime because it’s not our fault. The dealer was more problematic than Viking. It was like sending emails to a blank wall. I felt like they could’ve said that this was not their issue and they’re sorry for sending it to us. They were just searching to figure out who I needed to contact. After four emails and a handful of phone calls they told me to call Viking. And then Viking sorted it out as I could expect. They took care of it in a good fashion and took complete charge of its cost. Viking had someone came out and replaced the door. Then, something also happened when they installed the range. Some of the workers tried to move the range around and they pulled off the door of our oven and that had nothing to do with Viking. But we were able to get that sorted out on the same day. It’s good for it to all happen at once versus a couple of times. The quality of the range is good and it seemed perfectly functional, especially after the door was fixed. It works when it needs to work.

We love our Viking range. Everything is perfect. The dealer, however, told me that we were going to have our Viking stove at a particular date. I called up and they said, “No. Its not here.” And then they said it would be on this date. When I called them up again it still was not there. So, there was a delay action and then when the individual said, “Oh, we don’t get shipments in on this particular day”, in reality, yes, they did.

Viking is a good product and it looks beautiful but the functionality is a big problem. I bought a high-end oven, thinking that it would be more efficient and Id be able to get better use out of it. Instead, Im having a problem with this brand-new and expensive oven thats over $5,000 after having it for less than two months. Ive bought a lot of different appliances in my time and Ive never run into a problem with an appliance immediately. I asked my husband to preheat the oven and he had to shut it off because it wasnt turning on and there was a gas smell in the house. Also, the microwave is a little weird. The fan has two speeds but it certainly sounds the same to me. I reached out to where I purchased the oven from and they sent somebody to service it.

We purchased a used Viking range, did a conversion from gas to LP.. Ive had most of the oven apart and must say, this thing is built like crap. The hardware used is cheap, the sheet metal is thin and rusts, nothing even close to a quality range. The Nords would be very disappointed!

We were doing a high-end kitchen renovation and there were only a few brands that were built in and have the look and were a 30-inch refrigerator column. We’ve dealt with a small appliance shop in the past that our contractor recommended. Its a family-owned business so we were quite comfortable there and got great information. They treated us well at that store and we had experience with them previously on another renovation. I wanted to buy the Viking refrigerator because it has the technology to help remove odors where the Thermador we were looking at did not. And it holds everything I needed to hold. But we’ve had a second service call for the refrigerator, so were a little uneasy right now.Theres been water leaking into the bottom of the refrigerator, so the tech came out about a month or two ago, and he found something that was wrong and fixed it. And then, they were out again today because it didnt stop leaking water. It was coming in from a different place now, so were waiting on Viking technical services to respond back to us and the appliance repair guys.Getting service is easy. We havent had to wait very long to get appointments when we’ve called. We had vacation in the middle, so we had to wait a little to get the second call put in. But theyve been good on customer service. When I called Viking customer service, it was really good. I emailed them because I was too busy to call and it took several days for them to get back. But then, they dispatched the repair people pretty quickly. The local repair service that is authorized is good so far. They even came into the newly renovated kitchen and looked around at all of the appliances and told us they could work on all of it. Theyve been pleasant and quick to show up, and easy to schedule.

I’ve been a Viking fan for quite a while when I lived in Chicago. There’s a place up there that sold a lot of Viking products, and I used to see them on display. And I figured if I ever remodel, I’d look at them again, which I did. And I bought a whole Viking kitchen. I dealt with their distributor Elite Appliance, and they were really great. Brian, the sales guy, was really good, very detailed and he answered all my questions. I got a great price and we bought the refrigerator, the 36-inch stove and I ended up getting the Viking dishwasher for free. So, that was a plus.The refrigerator has been installed and we’ve been using it for about three weeks now. I like it a lot. I like that it’s got a lot of lighting in it when I open it up. And the separate drawers for different temperature controls seems to work well. It’s counter-depth and it’s got a lot of room in it. I also like the lower drawer freezer and the sliding shelf. And now, I got an icemaker that works again, so I like that too.

We were building a home three years ago, and I looked up about Viking, Wolf and other ranges and decided to get a Viking. I thought it was a top-of-the-line product and I liked the sleek look of it compared to Wolf. Im now on my second Viking since the one that was initially put into my home did not heat properly and it did not cook right since the day it was installed. So eventually, the door wouldnt close completely and that was under some recall type of thing. Viking ended up replacing the entire unit. However, there is only one repair service here in Columbus that deals with Viking as far as I know. I keep being told thats because Viking is either charging too much money and/or wont supply the parts and I would love to see some more competition rather than just one repair service that I have to call and pay their prices to repair a Viking product. I have a lot of friends that have Viking, and we all have to use the same people to repair the products.

I wanted to try a Viking refrigerator since its a good brand. Ive also seen their ads and heard them from my friends. I bought one and the quality is very good. Its self-cleaning too.

We were looking for something that has a range with a gas oven. Viking is one of the few ones that provide that amenity. The quality of the product is good. I love it. We’ve used it so many times and it’s been consistent as far as the heat where the oven is concerned. We love the range.

We purchased a VCRB536 Refridgerator and separate matching freezer for a kitchen remodel. Our Subzero 532 was operating perfectly although it was over 20 years old. The Viking door hinge spring broke, maybe $ 1000 to replace a $ 10 spring. Warranty coverage was denied. Now, the door bins are falling apart. Nothing heavy in them, but the ALL METAL door bins have plastic end caps that are cracking. Now I need to be careful the door doesnt fall off, but also watch the bins and contents falling when I open the door. Im very disappointing in this product and lack of support.

I must manually defrost a several thousand dollar machine every few months or the repair will cost $1100. Not happening. The refrigerator will only cool to 43 degrees Fahrenheit. I would replace it in less than 3 seconds but I paid to have it built in with cabinetry on the front which cost a ton. BUT there is almost no one to repair it. I am seriously thinking about trashing this one. Very disappointing. Since I bought it 12/31/2003 it has been repaired several times. I think I have spent enough repairing a BAD machine. Viking couldnt even get the cabinetry specs correct on the website. It has been a nightmare from day one. Model # DFBB363L Serial # G0000000582.

I purchased a newly-renovated house and a Viking refrigerator came with it. But I dont like it. It keeps my food cold but I liked my old GE refrigerator better than this one. It doesn’t have a water option, the ice machine isn’t working and the freezer is not very space efficient. I just think it should have a water filtration system and an ice machine. I don’t understand this ice-free model. And it’s not even working right now.

My dads a contractor and he liked using Vikings products. It has also been mine and my customers experiences that Viking takes action when somethings needed right away, and the quality of their appliances is usually a lot better. I like the heat and that when I boil something, its a lot quicker than my last range. Its really easy to work with them.

So, after years of AGONY, we finally purchased a new built-in refrigerator! Yesterday, our VIKING 48 inch built-in refrigerator was hauled away, and a new KitchenAid built-in was installed. Its sooo cold inside! Our food hasnt been refrigerated this well for years!NOTE TO REALTORS: STOP telling people that Viking Kitchens are the best! You are doing everyone a big dis-service. What do you know about appliance quality? You only know that Viking looks good. Our Viking Fridge costs $9,999. Its beautiful on the outside, but for that amount of money, I also expect it to keep the food cold, and it cannot do that.NOTE TO CONSUMERS: If a realtor tries to sell you a house with an All-Viking Kitchen, tell her your offer to purchase the house is contingent on the sellers replacing all of the appliances with another brand! That should get the realtors attention.A Viking refrigerator is like a Ferrari car. It looks beautiful, and your neighbors will drool over it every time they visit. But only you and your mechanic know the sad truth: Your Viking Refrigerator and your Ferrari need major servicing every 6 months to keep them running. You have to keep a Sears Kenmore refrigerator in the garage so that when your Viking breaks, you dont lose $1000 of food. You have a Toyota Corolla in the garage so that every time your Ferrari breaks, you can still get to work.If you are independently wealthy, and you have a housekeeper who can be at home every time the Viking repairman comes to visit, then buy Viking. But if you must take time off from work to stay home and wait for the repairman, keep in mind you will miss 3-4 days of work per year.Summary: Viking Refrigerators are very expensive to buy ($9,999) and even more expensive to maintain. The first two years, while its still under warranty, youll say to yourself, Whew, Im glad it broke under warranty! and then the warranty ends and it keeps breaking and keeps breaking, and then you think, How did I get into this mess? Small repairs are $300-$500. Major repairs are $1500 to $2000.

My family and other family members have Viking products. I liked the design and concept of their refrigerator. The Viking dealer I have worked with was good. She was very cooperative and professional. We bought a fridge and our Viking Professional Microwave from there. The fridge is pretty good. I had some issues with the ice maker of my previous fridge but they gave me a new Viking which has a new up-to-date part. Its the same fridge and its working pretty good.

The Viking registration site would not accept my information so it was somewhat of a hassle to get both of my products registered. I had to go through one of their customer service supervisors. It was a little laborious. I had to produce copies of the tags on my product. I had to produce a sales receipt and a lot more information than I would have had I been able to just use the website. The operator’s manual for the appliances is also not specific enough. The instructions are vague in regard to operating the range and turning it on. But Im generally pleased with the range. It cooks so much faster than a gas or an electric range. I also like the size of it and the interior of the oven.

Viking Range Corporation should have a class action lawsuit. Their ranges have the worst performance in the appliance field. $780 was the last bill to get it up and running. Igniters, warped heat shield, non-working broiler, junk falling off, doesnt come to temperature for 39 minutes. We keep paying to get it maintained. Viking does not return call. Law suit, I say.

We paid $1,600 for this high end dishwasher (Model VDB 450ESS) that does not dry dishes and smells all the time. The clip, which holds the little folding shelf in the top rack, broke. And guess what? Viking will not sell the clip. You have to purchase the entire top rack for $275! I will never buy another Viking product or refer Viking to anyone I know.

Im a general building contractor, so I research every refrigeration system I can find. I had an existing cutout where I had a Sub-Zero refrigerator from years past and the Viking box size was almost identical to the Sub-Zero that I removed. So far I like it very much. It keeps everything cold and crisp the way its supposed to, and its exact in the areas that its supposed to be and in the areas that its not supposed to be that way. Its an intelligent machine. I especially like the icemaker and the pizza box shelf at the bottom. Their products are good and as advertised. For the price and performance, Viking would be my number one suggestion.

I have an electric oven from Viking Ranges and it works okay. They had somebody who was very good at installing it. The only thing is we have a little problem with taking one of the racks out in the oven. We have no problem with the others and we can pull them out all the way. We have a problem with holding one of them and we thought maybe were doing something wrong. If I cant figure it out, Im going to call somebody to look at it because I have insurance on it.But other than that, I like it. I like that I can go off to the other side on the top and that I could move from one area to another easily. I like that its apple red because I dont like the stainless steel which is so hard to clean. I also like the way the knobs are covered from the top and its size. I like everything about it. My friend also has a Viking and she only has broil and regular bake on it. I like the simpler one but mine has all these other options that Im working on how to figure it out. I recommend it and I already had to a friend because of my experience in New Hampshire.

Viking built in double door refrigerator is two years old and is terrible, I have had four service calls to fix it. The first time it simply shut down and stopped working, the service tech replaced the inverter and then it has started leaking water all over the floor. I have now called four times to have it fixed. The local, West Coast Regional Office is a joke. They dont even answer the phone. When they do answer I get the run-around until I insist they send someone to fix it, which then takes two or three days. And then, three weeks later the same thing happens. The unit has a three year warranty and Viking is refusing to honor it. They are just the worst example of customer service I can imagine. My advice is to avoid the purchase of any of their products.

I needed a Viking fridge that matched the stove I already had. I purchased one and I havent been feeling great about it. Recently, the whole freezer got clogged up and I had to shut the whole unit down. I also had to replace a part in the fridge which cost me around $600. Getting the unit repaired was difficult because the two places registered with Viking in my area were terribly reviewed. Plus, those places were not able to help me immediately.

I wanted to upgrade my appliances so I purchased five Viking appliances. It is a well-known brand and the dealer is knowledgeable. The range is amazing but the others are average. When you turn on the burner it’s just so smooth.

We purchased an expensive free standing gas range, model VGCC530-4BSS, because we were tired of having to fix our old electric range. From day one the front knobs got hot when the oven was on for a long period of time. We never really thought too much of it until just recently when the oven would quit working after being on for a while, for example, when cooking a turkey etc. Through my own investigation, along with limited help from Viking I figured out that the oven door doesnt seal at the top. There isnt an adjustment to rectify this problem. Viking suggested new hinges, at the bargain price of $120 each, which I fail to see making any difference as this has been an issue from day one. Not to mention I removed the door, inspected the hinges and could not find anything wrong with them. I strongly feel that the only solution to this problem is to buy a new stove, one that doesnt have the Viking label on the front. This will be our first and last Viking product EVER!

Range came with griddle not working and oven not working. Griddle was repaired, but still waiting for oven to be fixed, months later. Very disappointed after spending $9900. When we called up last week, we were told to wait, that it takes a while.

Knowing Viking through friends and knowing its a high-end brand, I got their range. I worked with the distributor during my purchase and it was pleasant. I like the look of my unit and its performance. The power output is nice and it is definitely higher performing. The quality is great and I like how its easy to clean.

Have a VCSB5482DSS which replaced a VCSB48OSS. Same problems. Its a nightmare. It leaked from a part that I had to identify then the pan constantly overflows because the heating element doesnt work to evaporate the water and the ice maker doesnt work. Viking gave me a half priced new refrigerator replacement. It was still $6000 plus. THE SAME EXACT PROBLEMS!!! NIGHTMARE. NEVER BUY A VIKING REFRIGERATOR.

When I went into the store of the multi-product and multi-brand dealer, I had a shortlist of what would fit in my house, and the Viking refrigerator was one of them. Its well-rated. I looked online for reviews and did more of my research outside of the dealer store. The refrigerator that I got from Viking is good. I like it a lot, especially the lighting. However, there are two things that I dont like about it. One is that I wish I had filtered water. The second one is that when you use the ice tray in the automatic ice feature, the little bars that measure whether its full or not usually catch the ice, and then the ice falls back into the freezer and you cant shut the freezer. So then you have to fish up some of the ice. But its hard to get back there because you have to get down on your hands and knees and slide the big tray out. Otherwise, the ref is working well.

My Viking refrigerator is leaking on my hardwood floor. I bought it about five years ago and the LED lighting is nice. However, Im trying to get it fixed and its been a challenge finding people in Alabama that knows how to fix it. Im frustrated right now.

I bought a kitchen full of appliance from Viking. My refrigerator has caused what appear to be typical problems. Doors not closing or sealing correctly. Ice maker repair four times thus far. Company over the years could have been more congenial!

The Viking range is a little bit different to cook on than a regular range. Things seem to get hotter faster. It’s not that it’s a bad thing. Its just a little bit of a learning curve. I have a little bit of a concern as to how to clean this oven since it’s not a self-cleaning oven. Also, the fan in this range is extremely loud. After I use the oven, it is on for a good hour after I turn the oven off. I had a guy out here and he told me that thats just the way they are. Still, someone should have mentioned that before I bought that big ticket item. But the quality is fine.

Ive known about Viking Ranges for as long as I can remember. I went with them as they seemed to be the right fit for me in terms of power of the stove top and availability of an electric oven. Im quite happy with the one I have so far. I like the size, the power of the burners, and the griddle. The reps were quite helpful too. I called once just after it was installed because there was something I wasnt sure was normal, but they gave me helpful advice about how to adjust it.

We had a Sub-Zero at our last house and we didnt need to go to that level for this house because of how long well probably be in it, and Viking was our next choice after Sub-Zero. I was gonna go buy a refrigerator thermometer cause I feel like the fridge part is not cooling as much as it seems. In the last three or four days, it seemed like when I got the milk out, it doesnt seem cold. But it doesnt seem like anything is spoiling, so its not that severe. Other than that, it seems fine.

My wife didnt want the ice maker on the exterior of the fridge, so we chose Viking. We knew what we wanted when we bought our fridge at Best Buy. The product that we got seems fine, but its kinda noisy and vibrates when it makes ice. The plastic wrap on the door was annoying, but otherwise the fridge is all right. Quality-wise, it has been holding up wonderfully in the two months since it was installed.

We have the built-in side by side Viking Refrigerator since we purchased our home new in 2007. The water dispenser never shuts off and anything on the top left shelf of the refrigerator freezes. The ice maker has no stopping point and fills the drawer until you cant remove it. The water dispenser stopped working a week ago and now doesnt make ice at all. Absolutely the worst refrigerator we have ever owned.

Bought a Viking range due to their good warranty and so far, the quality is good. But I had a little bit of an issue in the beginning. The range wasnt holding the right temperature and it had to do with a computer glitch within the motherboard. So I called up Viking, and with the warranty, they sent someone within the week, and he fixed it, and I havent had a problem since. Everything in general is very high-quality made. The people at the Viking dealer at P.C. Richard were knowledgeable and overall, it was an excellent experience.

When we decided to purchase a new fridge, there were only a couple of choices - GE, Sub-zero and Viking, so I went with the better choice. We also got a Viking dishwasher, stove and hood, and so far, they have been okay. But we had a problem with the freezer down below. Someone came and fixed it, but it took a long time. Other than that, its still in good shape and its doors are nice. Ive had other brands and the Vikings quality seems okay. I wouldve preferred to have a mostly full refrigerator and a small freezer, and didnt wanna have one with a freezer below because the ice maker was also below, and I dont freeze a lot of stuff. But this particular Viking fridge came like that.

I had a Viking stove for 30 years and I like the Viking company as a whole. I wanted to try the Viking refrigerator and I never had one before, so I purchased one. The quality is good but Im not as happy as I thought I would be with it. It has some things that dont work very well. For instance, the ice maker is defective. Every time I open the freezer, ice cubes get out on the floor. So the refrigerator is not the best and Viking could have done better. I should have bought another one. Id also tell my friends that its good but they should check others. Other than that, I bought a Viking barbecue and it came defective as well. I had to call the Viking service but I also have to work and its not that easy to do these things.

Fridge is leaking water on to the floor after 4 years. Authorized service tech didnt find anything wrong but changed thermostat just in case was the problem. Fridge still leaks. YouTube videos show it is likely a clogged drain line. After taking apart fridge we can see the evaporation tray is completely dry, yet water is leaking on floor. Why didnt tech even check this??? Seems pointless to call tech back since he was so clueless but we dont know how to fix it. Also the shelves broke too easily.

Bought an induction range from Viking in 2007... terrible experience... Actually I think they replaced some parts that were within the warranty period, with some persuading, but after the third time it broke in 4 years we decided just to throw it away and get a conventional range.

Purchased Viking stove and built in Viking microwave VMOS200 while kitchen was being remodeled so it sat in warehouse for around a year. Microwave installed and worked fine for about 10 years, and then it stopped heating the food. Researched cost of repairs and found them to be way high in cost because of labor and the cost of parts needed. Researched for similar issues, to find out that other with same problem as a result of some switches behind the keypad that were bad and needed to be changed.As per Viking the little switch would cost around $22.00 ea. I worked as a purchaser of electronic components and I thought it sounded fishy for a switch to cost that much. I used to pay pennies for some switches and granted there are different types for different uses, but nothing could justify $22.00. I took the switch description and specs and fed it into Google and like magic had a list of them including the one from Viking. Found the one that matched my needs for less than $3.00 ea., sent description of it to Viking and asked what the difference was.Vikings response was that there wasnt any difference between them and either one would be perfectly good to solve the problem with my Viking microwave. I purchased over $25.00 worth of switches because I wanted free shipping. Also, this model has 4 switches behind the keypad and I was not sure if one or more switches were bad. They are ripping off consumers with their high prices for appliances built by Sharp and sticking their Viking name on them and selling their made in China switches for $22.00. If this is not illegal, it should be!??? Does Consumer Affairs look into things like this? Wish they did.

I bought this $11,000 stove from Viking Ranges and five days later, something went wrong. I called and they had someone out here quickly and fix it. Im really happy with it. Its a great product. Everythings fine and I would recommend them.

If you are considering a Viking appliance RUN away as fast as you can! This is the 3rd built in refrigerator/freezer I’ve had installed and what a nightmare it’s been working with the Viking company! Awful to say the least. This 3rd built in was installed 5 years ago and now both voltage boards have died. The serviceman just told me that one of the boards, the main one that runs everything, is on back order! Oh how I’ve been down this road before with Viking when they installed the 2nd piece of crap that did the exact same thing but only after 2 months of having it installed. It took over 3 months of pulling my hair out before I had a refrigerator/freezer that worked. Because that same board was on back order and they didn’t know when it would be available and because it was under warranty I demanded a new refrigerator/freezer as that’s why a 3rd one was installed. I wrote the company explaining all the problems and grief I went through and asked for an extended warranty. I received a letter from Viking telling how sorry they were about all the problems but SORRY we cannot extend the warranty. I received NO compensation from this ** hole of a company! They truly DON’T care about their customers!!! Run I say, RUN. Can’t wait to see how long it will take before I have a working refrigerator/freezer again!

I bought my Viking refrigerator from AJ Madison and they were very nice and very helpful. They answered a lot of questions I had and I was extremely happy with them. I liked Vikings looks and professional-grade. The quality is okay, but there was an issue. There was a dent in one of the refrigerator doors. Im trying to get that thing sorted out but its still not been resolved. Ive been emailing service at Viking and its been almost three weeks but its still not been taken care of. After spending $12,000 on a refrigerator, I would expect a little more response.

Four years ago we bought Viking appliances and Christine, the Stephen King creation, took over the dishwasher. One replacement and 4 repairmen later, blowup. From my wifes FB post: We had a little post-Christmas surprise today... the Viking dishwasher backed up, flooded our newly refinished hardwood floors, newly painted basement and new carpets. You could of water skied through our kitchen this morning. Then the laws of gravity took over and you could have water skied though my downstairs office. Guess what the Viking Distributor is getting for a New Years present... I hope he has a big, solid and waterproof desk!

I knew of Viking 30 years ago. I live near the North Shore which is a pretty area and Viking was all they had in their houses. Thats what they got and that’s what I wanted. It was either Viking or Wolf stoves we were looking at. Wolf only had built-in refrigerators but when we designed our kitchen, we didnt do a built-in area for the refrigerators. Viking had the range, the microwave, and the refrigerator so we went with them. We used Grand Appliances in Libertyville and they were phenomenal. I was a pretty savvy consumer so I went about and did my research before I went in. We had a saleswoman who was fantastic too.We like the Viking range. It works and I like the blue light. The only thing we dont like about it is it doesnt have a timer on there, like a digital display. It has the knob on it that tells the temperature, though. When Im cooking something in the oven, I have to set the timer. Other than that, every appliance in our kitchen is all Viking. We bought a Viking microwave, so we set the timer on that. Our dishwasher is Viking too. When we had one little problem with our refrigerator, they came out to fix it. Now, its making a knocking noise but hopefully, it will go away before we call back. Overall, Id recommend Viking.

Viking Ranges were at the store that we went to. We talked to a Viking rep and also to the salesman and our experience was very pleasant. They were very knowledgeable about the product. We got the six-burner range and we liked the size of the range and the burners. The quality is also very good. I like the convection oven because I’ve never had one. The range is everything we wanted it to be. It’s very easy to use and easy clean.

The house that I bought had the Viking range in it. Im really happy with my experience with it. I love the center stove. Its huge and it helps me put my plate in there and then make pancakes for the whole house which is very convenient. However, in terms of difficulty, its just very hard to know what temperature the oven reached and how long that would take. Because it doesnt have the setting to say, Okay, pre-heat it. I have to go at least 400 degrees Fahrenheit. And theres no way that tells me that its ready at 400. One time I had one knob that my son broke so I had to call them. But it was out of warranty, so they just said it was out of warranty. I said, Okay, no problem. But they provided me information in terms of who can help me fix it. So I just called an external agency and then set it up with them. Id definitely recommend Viking to a friend.

I like my Viking refrigerator. Its a good-quality refrigerator. When it got delivered, there was a piece of plastic wrapped around the motor inside of it. There was no problem getting someone out here to work on it. They came out really quick. Also, whenever I had an issue with it, I went online and I was helped out and pointed in the right direction very quickly.

My wife has always loved Viking so I started looking for it. We bought a Viking refrigerator and we love it. We like how big and beautiful it is. We’ve even named it Big Mo. We did have a problem with shipping it but Vikings customer service came out and took care of everything so everythings been wonderful.

Ive had Viking products before and I heard about the Viking refrigerator from friends and people whove had Viking appliances. My son-in-law works for a company thats owned by Viking, so I got the friends-and-family deal, and it was a great deal. I like the French doors. In fact, this is the only slide-in refrigerator that Viking makes, and it was perfect for my kitchen thats relatively small. I just couldnt justify going up to a commercial grade refrigerator with a small kitchen. I also love the components of the freezer units. There are different areas where I can freeze things. Its very compact and efficient.I had a few questions regarding the refrigerator and the rep pointed out how to do the adjustments. I had called the Viking headquarters in Tennessee and asked for a hard copy version of the manual, even though its available online, but I never received it. Thats an oversight on their part, but I should just go ahead and print out the manual off of the internet. But other than that, Im very happy with the refrigerator. Its great. Its perfect for my needs and its a good-looking refrigerator, too.

Weve had a Viking Refrigerator for as long as I can remember. We always like how the line of products look. Unfortunately, our own Viking Refrigerator has been terrible and we had a lot of issues with Viking because of it. We bought a new house and then the refrigerator stopped working. We had contacted Viking about 15 times to talk to them about replacing it but they kept sending somebody out to keep repairing it but it didnt work. They refused to replace it until the serviceman said theres nothing more he could do. So we went about eight weeks without having a refrigerator and thats not ideal when there are kids. We had to have the refrigerator replaced and its going to be our last Viking just because the customer service was absolutely horrific. They were very difficult to deal with and theyre worse than the refrigerator.

I have bought Viking appliances for my past two kitchen renovations and I have to say I am disappointed in the quality of my latest Viking range; especially when I compare it to same Viking range we had before. The latest range makes a loud bang sound whenever we turn the oven on and it is heating up. It sounds almost like a small explosion and when it first happened, my wife and I thought something seriously happened with the oven and that it was faulty. We had a Viking technician come out to look at it and he informed us that it is becoming increasingly common with Viking ranges and that there is nothing much we can do about it.I have to say that paying a huge premium on an appliance and being told that there is little we can do about it is not a very satisfying answer. It is also embarrassing whenever we have company over and they hear the bang go off with our oven and are surprised to learn that is something we put up with every day especially after spending so much money on a high-end item. I am not exactly sure what can ever be done about this but I must say that if or when we renovate our next kitchen, I cannot say that Viking will be high on my list as appliances to purchase.

Viking Ranges has been around for a while and we knew them for a long time. And we preferred Viking because of their reputation, style, and price. Their two-year warranty was also very attractive. We’re very happy with the quality of the range that we got and I really like that it has different size burners. The team at the dealership was great and they helped us out a lot.

I thought Viking is a good brand but the refrigerator saw two changes already and Im not happy. They take too long to come and check it. I am frustrated. It’s the third refrigerator and still nothing is happening.

Were from Mississippi, and supporting a local company seems like a good thing to do. We bought our Viking range from Southern Pipe and the sales team seemed to really know their stuff. My wife had a ton of questions for them and weve had good answers. They seemed to have dealt with those questions before or the saleslady might even own one, so she was able to speak about personal experiences too. We like all the features that came with the range and it has been really good. We havent had a gas stove before, so the fact that everything heats up really quickly is awesome to us. Plus it looks really good in our kitchen. We bought it back in the fall, but only got it installed in February, so were still sort of in a trial period of using it. It still feels pretty new, but everything weve thrown at it so far, its done exceptionally. Its the best stove Ive ever owned.

Weve owned Viking products for years in different houses. Over the years, their products have improved. Weve just spent about $40,000 in Viking products, in building a new home. The refrigerator we got from them appears to be fine. They built a nice product. I dont have high expectations with a refrigerator. It either keeps stuff cold or frozen. We have a separate Viking ice maker thats not part of the freezer or refrigerator, and its a nicely constructed piece of equipment.My only issue was with their dishwasher that immediately leaked. Moreover, I was in a new home without a dishwasher for two months because they couldnt deliver parts. We just got the dishwasher back a couple of days ago. The Viking dealer was good, except with their service with the dishwasher. We live in a small town in Arizona and they are the only game in town. But theres no excuse for our spending thousands of dollars on a piece of equipment that comes defective from the factory and then it takes two months to get a replacement part. Its just not acceptable We havent had any issues so far with any of the other equipment, which is good. Our Viking products sometimes had service-related issues, so theyre not as durable as some of their competitors stuff, but they certainly are attractive in their features. Ive had both good and bad experiences with Viking products, so I’m holding my breath that we don’t have any other issues. Viking has been challenged publicly on the quality of their product. So, Im hoping that they have improved their manufacturing process and their items are more durable than they were in the past.

We just moved into a new house with a Viking refrigerator. This model has a pull-out freezer drawer on the bottom and today, when my daughter had a friend over, they opened the door to the refrigerator while the freezer drawer was ajar and the unit was so top and front heavy that it fell forward, nearly crushing both girls. Luckily, we have a kitchen island that is about 2 feet from the fridge that stopped its free fall. We only lost most of the contents of the refrigerator and spent an hour cleaning up broken glass and spilled food instead of rushing to the ER or calling 911. This isnt the first problem weve had with this fridge despite the fact that weve only had it for about a month. The freezer leaks almost constantly into an overflowing drip tray and is ruining the hardwood floor beneath it. After todays incident, I went to the basement to discover that water was pouring from the ceiling light fixture directly beneath the fridge. Ill be replacing this unit ASAP as Im afraid to let my children open the door by themselves.

I’ve always wanted a Viking Refrigerator. Due to Vikings reputation and the way their appliances look, I bought a Viking refrigerator which is nice and I love it. I bought mine from Plessers.com and they were really excellent. But the instructions for the kick plate were pretty vague and I couldn’t figure out how to put the kick plate on the bottom. I thought I had the wrong one and they sent me another one, which was the same part. Then I realized how to put it on after that. Yet the response was really good and they didn’t waste any time sending me a replacement. I appreciated that.

My sister had a Viking refrigerator and I got myself one but I have had nothing but issues. Something happened right away to the first unit I received. I fought with Viking for over a year and a half about it. They kept having repair people come in to fix stuff but nothing worked. I had to buy a new unit that they supposedly gave me a 50% discount on. Then, when the unit got in, it was dented. It took them four months to reorder and fix the part. Then, the icemaker didn’t work, and I lived without that, on a brand-new fridge for another four months. Where I live, there is only one company that could fix a Viking. They don’t have enough people and that meant that every time they order something, it took weeks to get somebody out here. That company doesnt have the workers involved. Theres not enough support or backup people that can fix these things and nobody thinks about that. When you buy a product, the service department has to come from another state to fix it. Then, if that company wasn’t good, you’re stuck at their mercy. They keep taking their time and they don’t know what they’re doing. So, I’m not happy at all. I would never buy another.

We bought the house and the builder had put Viking appliances in it. Weve only had the house for two or three weeks and so far, everything works great. The Viking range looks easy to clean, take apart, and thoroughly get to all the pieces. Its easy to work with.

I purchased the VGCC5304BSS Professional Range and had it professionally installed. We immediately noticed a very strong gas smell. Viking sent their service person out (who complained to me about having to drive so far). The oven was not lighting because the spark plug was not positioned properly. It still has gas smell and the knobs get hot when the oven is in use. Viking sent another service person who adjusted the burners and grounded the oven igniter, still there’s the gas smell. We had the gas company out numerous times to check for leaks. They have said the problem was with the regulator inside the range. I contacted Dale Person, VP for Business Development and his office assigned Bonnie ** as our contact. Bonnie does not answer her phone, does not return calls, and does not care one bit that my house gets filled with propane gas. Since their service company, Distinctive Appliances, has only 1 person for Viking service, and he must service 4 states, the earliest he can get to my house is April 4th! Viking will not refund my money. Viking will not replace the range...basically Viking will not do anything. I have now been without a working range since March 3, 2012. I wish I knew what options I have. I think I should be compensated for all of this! Buyers beware!

I’ve known about Vikings Refrigerator for years. They were in my family growing up and I liked their dependability. I like the design of the unit I have. But I had a poor experience with my Viking dealer, an online dealer. I purchased from a company called Appliances Connection and theyre out of New Jersey while I’m in Atlanta. I knew exactly the model I wanted and did everything online.But there were problems with the communication between the sales representative when I ordered the unit and the shipping department, and theres the need or knowledge of being service oriented. It was committed to me that it going to be a white glove delivery experience and that the old refrigeration unit would be removed. But when the delivery people got here, they dropped the Viking Refrigerator in my front door and left. I wasn’t able to inspect it and I had to struggle and had to pay them additional cash to be able to get the old unit removed. Other than that, the overall quality of the refrigerator is great.

Initially, we had a difficulty with baking, and then the temperature just cut off. It ended up taking an hour and a half to bake one sheet of cookies after it had warmed up for a good 20 and then 40 minutes. It took a long time. Someone came out, and he said nothing was wrong with and it hasnt done it since. But so far, so good.I live in an area that is lower population. We dont have as many service people to service. Initially, I was told I would have to wait a month to a month and a half for someone to come out and look at it. I pleaded with the gal on the phone. “Well, it’s just before Christmas, and I have a four-year old. And were looking forward to baking.” Lo and behold, someone had availability in their schedule. She called me right away and said, “I can get you in right away. Are you available?” I said, “Of course, I am.” I was disappointed in that. I said, “Gosh, if I had any future issues, it would be a bummer to have to wait that long for service.”In addition, I can’t get a pizza pan to go all the way in. Its not the depth of the oven. It just needs to be an inch and a half further in depth, and then a regular pizza pan could fit in. That was shocking to me. We ran into it on the first day of our move. We had the movers here and I thought, “Oh, Ill just pick up pizzas and cook them in the oven.” Because we live a ways out from any pizza place. I had to cut all the pizzas in order for them to fit into the oven, which is a pain in the neck. And then anytime I go to fix a pizza, I cant use the basic pizza pan, which is a bummer. Other than that, Ive enjoyed using the stove top, and the oven has been great since. Ive been happy.

We noticed that on the refrigerator side, when we would open our Viking, the door wasnt closing on its own when we let go of the door handle. So, I called in the place where we purchased it and then they said we still had a warranty for the refrigerator itself for Viking. So then I called them and put in a claim. I turned out that the latch from underneath the door was broken. We waited two weeks for the parts to be delivered. It also seemed that the doors were not levelled. The freezer was fine but the refrigerator was a bit lower than the freezer. But thats fixed now and its working fine. I love that we have more room to place everything in.

Some of my relatives have Viking. So, Ive always said that when I bought my house, I was going to buy Viking because Ive heard good things about it. I love the way that it looks and the quality. And now, I have four different Viking appliances. I love the high-techness of my refrigerator. I like the durability of the range, it’s a 5 burner with two on the sides and then the long one in the middle. I like the quietness of my dishwasher. And my microwave, it works so well. The Viking dealer was also great. We found them online and we priced around. They gave us the best deal and free shipping. So, they were awesome.

Agreed Viking appliances are 100% crap! I have 4 of them. All over $7000.00 each and they have all failed many times. Control boards in the all fridge model and the gas ovens do not light or function correctly, and in some cases not at all. The burn tubes are HAND drilled like from the 40s!!! Basically like some kid with a hand drill trying to drill the gas holes into a tube so it might work! Unreal. The service guy has been out 8 times to try and make it light correctly! The fridge, what a total waste of $7000.00!!! If and when it cools it will freeze the food or just alarm or stop cooling at +14 degrees c! This Viking crap has ZERO consistency and is RUBBISH! Even the Viking toaster had to be returned as it failed the first DAY!

We purchased a home with a Viking range and dishwasher. We have lived here five years and we have our dishwasher serviced at least once a year. Wires continue to burn up. Weve placed major parts and the pump, and last night something in the front panel started a fire and melted a hole in the inside metal. We had a house full of smoke, but thankfully we were home before the kitchen went up in flames. Weve already spent the cost of the washer in repairs and will not even call a technician this time. We will be buying a new dishwasher, but never again a Viking appliance.Our range has not had all the same problems, but the igniters are unreliable. The oven takes 1/2 hour to reach the desired temperature. The door is heavy and were just waiting for it to break. The writing has worn off in many places on the knob panel. These are just not problems you expect from high end appliances.I do not recommend Viking. They are not worth the money and their customer service department is entirely useless.

The house that we bought had the appliances in it and it included a Viking range. I’ve known about Viking Ranges for a long time but this is the first time I’ve owned any of their products. So far, the quality is great and I really like the look of it. But I’ve never owned a gas oven before, so Im still learning about it. It’s also a little noisier than a typical electric oven, but Im getting used to it. I also get that this is a professional range series so you’re not gonna have a timer like in an electric oven, but that is kind of nice to have.

I liked the warranty better on this Viking refrigerator than I did on the other ones. Since I had a good experience, Im happy with the product and would buy again.

Viking is very well known and their products are very stylish. I had one before and I decided to get a range from them. I bought it from Elite Appliance and the guy there was very enthusiastic. But once I paid, I was had a hard time getting updates on the delivery date. Another thing was the range was too expensive. Other than that, the design of the range fits my kitchen and my cooking style. I do quite a bit of stir-frying so a high BTU range helps quite a bit. I also like the amount of flame that comes out. Its really nice.

I chose a simple Viking fridge because if its too complex, theres a bigger chance that it will break. Ive had the fridge for half a year and Im satisfied. But the shelf on the door fell once I closed the door and it broke. I sent an email to the Viking service center a couple of weeks ago but nobody answered. I was wondering if someone can send a new shelf to me to replace it.

We have had a Viking range for almost our entire married life. We lost our range in the tornado the day after Christmas, and we did not rebuild. We bought another house. The range that we had in here was an LG and it was a piece of crap. I had to turn off the air conditioning because the gas burner would blow the flame to the right and it wouldnt heat anything. The broiler never got hot enough. I could put my hand under it. It did not do anything it was supposed to do. So, we went back to a Viking. Our other Viking was a double oven, griddle, grill, four-burner and it was wonderful. Our kitchen is not that big this time, so we just got a four-burner gas range and the single oven. The broiler works and the burners have power. I like the center thing where I can put an oval pot in the center. The fellows who delivered it were above and beyond. They spent a lot of time here, carted away our other range and got this one situated. At first, we thought it was gonna stick out from the wall too much and wed have to relocate the gas line a bit, but once they put it in place, it was fine.

I liked the reputation of Viking Ranges and the quality of the range that I got is great. It looks dynamite as well and it came with a free microwave. When we had an issue with the range, Viking sent somebody out to fix it. The interaction with the dealer was great and I had a good experience with Viking.

We just moved our belongings over to Bangkok, including a brand new Viking range which can handle gas canisters. The oven safety switch keeps switching off the oven, just like other have problems with, and the stove top click, click, clicks constantly. I thought this was a quality product. Now I have to find a Viking dealer in Thailand. The professionals that handle commercial stoves came over to our home and they also cant figure it out. How can such a good looking product be so absolutely unreliable? More to come.

I choose Viking Ranges for their quality and I just like them. They have a very good quality. My favorite feature is its consistency in cooking. I also love that each of the burners has a simmer mode, which is good. I bought the range from someplace online. I also bought the extended warranty and there’s one company in our area that works on the Viking thats certified if I have any issues with it.

Viking is good stuff and made in the U.S, and the quality of our range has been good so far. We wanted a big range and the dealer was well-versed on the product.

Weve had our Viking Refrigerator running for about a month and a half now and we love it. The dealer had an excellent display of the various Viking appliances that was really most helpful to us. We bought the double-door model and I really like it. Its working very well, has no issues, nice and quiet, all the compartments are useful, and its pretty. We love the way its lined up and I love the freezer on the bottom because that means my head doesnt bump at the handle if the freezer was on top.

This range is everything that I would hoped for when deciding this high-end purchase. Looks fantastic and performs equally as well. Only gave 4 stars because it’s difficult to clean and oven rack placement could be a little better. There is very limited spacing between the three racks. Additionally, the center rack that has the bearings in it is rather difficult to remove and then replace. I’ve been impressed by all of the functions that I’ve used so far on this oven.

The quality of the Viking Range is fine. However, the oven doesn’t cook evenly. It’s also very small. The square footage inside of the oven is very small compared to my old GE, in my old apartment that I loved. It’s cooking thoroughly but its not even. So, if I’m going to bake cookies, I have to turn the tray around to get the back. Moreover, the knobs to turn on the oven and the stove get very, very, very hot when the oven is on. But the door closes fine. There’s nothing wrong with the unit. But I probably wouldnt buy it again. On the other hand, I had to call and have the Viking people come out a couple of weeks ago and they were really helpful. And then, the check was even lovelier, so their customer service is great.

We liked the Viking brand name and the look of their products. So, we redid our whole kitchen with all Viking and got their products through a dealer. Our Viking range is good and powerful but it is so much stronger than what I was used to, so I burned a pot early on. That has been a learning curve for me and I dont know if that’s in the materials because it’s sort of overwhelming when you get all new appliances and unpack from a renovation. That might be my fault but that could be somehow highlighted for other people.Also, there was a problem with the ranges starter from the beginning so I had to have that repaired. One of the grate panels rusted, too and it was replaced. But the black on the replacement is a little different though and it doesn’t match the others if you look at it. Plus, a little piece fell off of one of the grates and I still have to glue it. I paid for it and Viking was supposed to send us two pieces of that but they sent only one. I also find it difficult to clean or get stuff off the stove top, although I try to not worry about it as much. That has been a bit of a learning curve as well. We have the Viking range for a little over two years so far and I don’t think that these problems should have happened. That is not what I would expect.

Viking was the one recommended by the sales representative at Best Buy. Also, I checked some reviews online and it was so good. I wanted to try a new brand and I decided I wanted to get that one. What I like the most is that the fridge is very spacious. More than a regular one. However, I had to call Best Buy because it stopped working. They fixed it for free because I had it for less than a year at that time. So, I had my doubts but it has been working fine since then.

I have a kitchen full of Vikings and my husband likes them because the appliances are pretty to look at. The old Viking refrigerator we purchased needed a lot of repairs so we went and bought a new one a year ago. The door swings too heavy so its always a fear of ours that its going to swing and the latch will get broken. I need to call to see if theres a kit or fix for it but I havent had any issues. Repairs take awhile because of products but other than that its fine. If theres an issue I just call into the Viking number and theyre able to pass these to someone to help me with repair. I have been fortunate to receive excellent customer service from them.

My wife got this unit thinking we were upgrading from a Samsung. To my surprise this unit was horrible. Forget about the fact of how small it was, but if you put eggs next to the ice maker you ended up with frozen ones!! Since this was a French style with the split doors we were blessed to have our jarred fresh garlic freeze when the unit was set at 40 degrees. After the technician came out the second time he told us that this unit with the Viking name was in fact either a Maytag or a KitchenAid. Nice!! Im off on a mission to purchase a Sub Zero - never to buy Viking products again!!!

I bought a Viking dishwater 11 months ago. During this time, I had to call their repair representative 5 times. I was very dissatisfied with this as I had paid more than twice an average dishwasher and expected better quality and not worse. I have been using dishwashers for more than 30 years and never had any problems before this one. Last week, the washer broke down again and the repair guy said that an olive pit had gone past the filter and into the drain, and he claimed that this was my fault and the warranty would not cover this situation! Now, I always wipe plates and try to get everything off but it is possible thata pit might be stuck to the bottom of a plate or glass and isnt the filter suppose to get that? I consider the design of the filter to be faulty and called Viking but they would not accept paying for the repair. I will never buy Viking again and will relay my experience to everyone I know and recommend them to stay away from Viking products which are highly priced, have poor reliability, and bad customer service.

We appreciate the quality of the brand. The 7 series in particular had a lot of the newer features that could be useful, particularly in how we cook. Were really enjoying it. Its very high quality. We really like the broiler. We really appreciate that. We also like the setup with some of the lower BTU range areas. Its been great. We also like the high simmer approach on the top left. So you can go right from high straight into a really controlled simmer. The Viking dealer was great. We use Plesser’s in Babylon. They had great background and nice expertise. They could walk us through the features. They were incredibly helpful and worked with us on all different pricing.
