Product Reviews:

This microwave has been outstanding since I purchased it. No issues, it works flawlessly, cleans easily and looks great with my other stainless appliances. I'd buy another in a heartbeat. I did a lot of online research before I chose it and am not sorry.

Panasonic 2.2 cu ft Microwave Model SD997S - We purchased the appliance in 2010 for our new house. It worked fine for 2 years and then the magnetron and inverter both failed. Fortunately they were both replaced under warranty and the microwave worked fine for another 3 years until the summer of 2015. Initially the unit's fuse blew and when that was replaced, it worked ok for another 2 months. The repair tech suggested we use a power bar to save the trouble of replacing the internal fuse. Now the the unit keeps popping the circuit breaker on the power bar at the P10 setting after about a minute of use. At a P8 setting the microwave will work for about 4 minutes before the circuit breaker on the power bar pops. At a setting of P5 the unit will work for 10 minutes. Not sure how much longer this microwave will last before it dies completely.

Purchased a Built-in microwave and trim kit from Electrolux. Go to install trim kit and imagine my surprise to find the Electrolux name UPSIDE DOWN! Immediately call the Customer Service Line from the number on the package. They take all my info and tell me that they would send me a new one. But now 4 months have gone by and I still haven't received it. So I call the same number today, only to be told that they don't handle these items or complaints, can't order me a new trim kit, and that I should go make to the retailer to have replaced.

I bought a GE PEB7227 Profile Microwave and after 6 months the door latch breaks. Service tech comes and says, "Sorry parts are back ordered for 3 months (including new frame due to damage done to it getting the thing open)." I call GE "customer care". Explain that it's obviously cheaper to drop ship me a new unit (and I will waive the new frame) than all of the parts, frame and a second call to fix the unit. Their answer, buy a new unit at a discount or simply go without a microwave for 3 months. Add me to the list of victims trying to warn others to NEVER buy a GE product.

I purchased a KitchenAid Microwave in October 2013. The plastic on the bottom of the door handle crumbled leaving a sharp edge and wobbly handle. I contacted Kitchenaid and they told me that they could send someone out for $99 to take a look. This is 20% of the price of the microwave. Materials science has gotten better over the years, but the quality of Kitchenaid appliances has declined sharply. I thought that I was buying a quality product because of the Kitchenaid name. They don't even stand behind their workmanship. The customer service agent did a great job of apologizing to me but not rectifying my concern.

This microwave has failed after only 18 months. Major failure, expensive to repair, it will have to be replaced. I don't recommend this microwave at all.

We love the all features, power, appearance, size, turntable, keypad, color, everything. We are a very very happy with this microwave. Panasonic is awesome. I don't know what else can I say. It does everything we need very well. I use it mostly for defrosting frozen breakfast biscuits.

Had microwave installed. All went well until we tried to plug it in. The power cord is about a foot shorter than the old microwave and would not reach the outlet. Called LG, customer service, and they had no solution. They even told me told me to not use an extension cord. So now what LG?

It works as advertised. We've noticed that the plastic cover over the keypad is wearing out after just a few years of operation. Aside from that the unit works well. It is utilized daily and have never had any operational issues.

I have had my Panasonic microwave since 1982 and it runs like new and I have never had it worked on!!! I feel that is a pretty amazing appliance! Purchase a Panasonic brand, they last a long time! This microwave has been working for 35 years and still going strong! Hahaha!
