Top-notch. Has worked very well without problems and we feel that we have been very lucky. Easy to use as long as follow instructions and do not overload with too many clothes. We have followed the instructions very carefully and because of that we have been lucky and can count the problems we have had on one hand. Has been very reliable on a consistent basis. It is very plain looking, not too much to make it any different than any other washer or dryer. Easy to get into and get clothes out. This expensive appliance is a total waste of my money. Thought I was buying top-of-the-line washer, so spent a bit more. My laundry comes out with obvious dirty marks on it, which must be mold being slung onto the fabric. I don't have confidence that anything is really clean. I have had black streaks on white slacks, sheets, blouses, etc. It is disgusting. I have to hand-wash these marks out the best I can; don't always come clean. Have also thrown out 2 full sets of towels due to looking so nasty & dingy. They do NOT come clean. Also have had problems with the balance, where the machine will not spin out the water with 7 minutes left in the cycle. It keeps adding more water, trying to weigh the load, but cannot spin. Wind up having to pull dripping wet clothes out, finish rinsing the best I can in the bathtub, try to hand-wring these heavy items, and let the dryer run way too hard to dry them. Don't ever buy an LG front-load washing machine. Got this in January 2010; it was manufactured 11/10/2009. It is a piece of JUNK!Margo of Lexington, KY

We purchased the Bravos X set (Model Number: MEDX700XW0 and Model Number: MVWX700XW2) form Lowe's in October 2012. When the items arrived and we used the dryer for the first time in the delicate setting, the machine kept cutting off! So, Lowe's brought us a new one. At first it worked but then the delicate cycle on that machine ended up not working as well a few months later. I ignored it and used the other settings. Yesterday, the washer broke. The entire basket detached! We were washing a small blanket and sheet set and kept hearing a loud banging sound. I went to check and the clothes were soaked and the entire drum was detached. I am so friggin angry! We spent over 1200 for this set and less than 3 years later, the set is ruined. I am on the phone with Maytag now b/c they need to replace this set or give us an upgraded set. They know that this set had issues yet they decided to still market and sell it. I want to sue!Tonya of Harker Heights, TX

Not only does dryer come with missing parts and are told by Maytag 1 to 2 weeks for delivery or drive 25 miles to pick up one. You do not qualify for rebate even though you do not receive washer and dryer for 5 days after rebate starts. Should have kept my old GE was faster and got clothes cleaner. We bought a Maytag Neptune Washer and dryer package from Home Depot in 2004 and had nothing but problems ever since. Such things as washer had mold constantly. I purchased an LG model WM2701HV washing machine (and accompanying dryer) in 2011. In just over a year, the plastic was crumbling into chunks around the detergent dispenser and the writing around the cycle dial was rubbing off. I now have to look at the owner’s manual to make sure I am using the correct cycle because the panel is unreadable. Then, after about a year and a half, I had to replace the drain pump. And of course, I have the smell and mold issue no matter what I use / how often I clean it. So, I have a very expensive, top-of-the-line appliance that I hate. My old $500 top load machine was still going strong after almost 20 years - wish I still had it! No more LG products for me...Kc of Scottsdale, AZ

Buyer beware!!! I purchased a washer, dryer and refrigerator, all Kenmore Elite and they have been the WORST purchases I have EVER made in my life (except the dryer). It has been 3 years but my problems began within the first few months. The water never got cold from day one on the fridge door even after 2 service calls to Sears. The washer I have had to call and have repaired 6 times. Every, I mean EVERY drawer and shelf in the refrigerator and freezer broke within the first year and were not covered under warranty. This is not what you expect from a $6000.00 purchase!!! You expect more peace of mind from expensive appliances but the technicians from Sears kept telling me that the items are crappy and not Kenmore at all. They just slap their names on them. I am considering taking my complaints on to the Better Business Bureau and anyone else I can find to complain to.Maxine of Victorville, CA
