Viking Refrigerators have a tough look. They don't have the look of a local GE but rather the look of a Sub-Zero Wolf, and I like it. Also, its quality is decent. The refrigerator that I purchased was only available in a French-door, which is a counter depth. I wish that option was available in a one-door as well. The shelves are movable. It's a tough refrigerator on the inside and it's not clumsy. The freshness stays in there longer and things don’t spoil as quickly. But it is extremely overpriced and it's so heavy compared to the others. The size could also have been a little wider.

We originally had a Northland refrigerator and it had a single, swing-out door. We started looking for another ref and we decided to go with a ref with double doors. I opened every two-door, swing-out model and looked at the trays, shelves, drawers, and guides, and how well these were made and fitted. Compared to their competitors, Viking had the product with the best custom interior and guides for drawers and shelves, and they were hands down above all the other ones that we saw on the market. Also, our experience with the dealer was excellent. They do a nice job and we buy a lot of appliances from them. The ref we got from them is nice and we like it. It keeps our food cold and frozen the way it's supposed to and everything is operating the way we expected, so we're happy with it. We like the double doors too. Buy from Viking. They do their homework well.

I purchased my Samsung French Door Refrigerator for Home Depot September 2014. It was running fine until I noticed paint bubbling on the edge of the door. I contacted Samsung September 2015 - it was several days before the anniversary of the refrigerator delivery date. I advised the door with the ice dispenser paint is bubbling along the edge. I sent photos. Samsung declared it cosmetic damage. I was not satisfied. They said to have a tech come out and inspect. Budget Appliance came out and said, "yes the door was defective." They suggested a replacement of the unit as they believed it was not sound. Samsung refused. I contacted Better Business Bureau. After BBB contacted Samsung they agreed to pay for replacement parts and I the cost of labor. Another technician came out on March 1, 2016 and said "yes the door needed to be replaced." I received a new door on March 16 and I refused it because it was black. I have spent countless hours trying to resolve this issue and Samsung could have resolved the issue promptly with either a new refrigerator or door. Now according to the parts department it may take up to 8 weeks to get the replacement door in white. It will be May 2016 before this is even close to being taken care of. Samsung expects me to pay almost $300 in labor because of the faulty design. Do not buy Samsung appliances. Their customer service is rude and their service company they use is in Bogota, Columbia. They took over 4 days to track the wrong part that was ordered.

The ice maker is a standard size and tends to produce ice adequately. HOWEVER, BE WARNED that Samsung ice makers are very poor quality. They tend to dispense crushed ice even when you don't want it. They definitely dispense broken bits of cubes constantly. I have contacted Samsung about this issue and their attitude is "well, that's just the way it is, too bad". It's a shame that a $3,000 refrigerator comes with such an inferior ice maker and even a bigger shame that Samsung thinks it's okay to sell you a fridge that spits ice in your floor every time you use it. Their customer service department said that if they send a technician out to look at it they will bill me because they don't consider this a defect. Huh?? Be informed before you buy a Samsung product.

Perfect size, love the middle drawer for the grandchildren's drinks and husband's beer. Has pitcher for my water in the refrigerator. It has lots of space in the freezer and the main part of the fridge. It looks great and fits our needs. I like the door you can open for just small things so you don't have to open the main door of the fridge and let all the cold air out. Couldn't be happier with it.

We have been having a cooling issues with our LG French Door Refrigerator. We called the 800 243 0000 number a few times. The first time, the associate asked us to reset the unit and wait for 24 hrs. After the unit failed to reset, we called the number since the unit is under warranty. We were told LG does not have service technicians in our area and we will have to go through an "authorized" service center. The first service center refused to work with us saying they need the original sales receipt even after LG "promised" to cover the parts. The authorized service center then called me to give an estimate of $1500 without even looking at the unit. After we called LG service to help us find a technician or another service center, the LG executive response team member set me up with another authorized service center, who set up an appointment after LG provided an authorization. We waited for a week for the appointment, only to have the service call and inform us that they made a mistake and will not service LG units. This is after the LG associate was on a conference call with us and the service center a week ago. So after two week of waiting we have no resolution in sight and LG customer service keeps giving us the runaround. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE LG PRODUCTS.

My Fisher Paykel product experience has been terrible and I would not recommend their fridges. I purchased an integrated fridge from this luxury appliance store and am currently now on my 4th fridge because of defects with the previous 3. The last 2 fridges had issues with their fans. Fixing the fan onsite however did not resolve the problem with the 3rd fridge. This has been a huge headache, with some items on the lower shelves freezing and others on the top shelf spoiling. Installing each fridge is also a whole day effort since it is integrated into the cabinetry. I am now waiting to get a 4th fridge but given my experience, I have no faith in the quality of this so called luxury product. I asked for a discount given this extraordinary (some might characterize as ridiculous) experience but of course was denied. I was only offered a one year extension of warranty on a product that I am doubtful of.

We purchased this product (LMXS30776S) two years ago! The first one came out of the box defective! The second one has NEVER worked right either. The refrigerator section does not cool properly. Temp stays at 55 degrees. Called service center and was told the door was open. Not! The freezer section stopped cooling and we lost several hundred dollars in food. Again called service center and was told to open and close the door three times! I WILL NEVER PURCHASE A MAJOR APPLIANCE from this company again. I could write more but as you can tell their service and products leave much to be desired!

Searched for a while to replace a very old fridge in my basement. After much time I decided on the Insignia one for it's best overall value. It was the size I was looking for, had glass shelves & was energy efficient. Have had the fridge for about 1 month now & so far so good. It keeps things nice & cold & runs fairly quiet.
