Product Reviews:

I have bought several reconditioned Kenmore washer and dryer and they seem to perform efficiently and they are very dependable. My washing area is in the garage and they seem to be able to withstand the cold and don't freeze up.

I purchased a front loader Whirlpool Cabrio washer/dryer in June of 2011. I was sold an extended warranty which ends June 30 of this year. I have made 4 calls to the Co which warranties the washer because it is making squeaking noises on the spin cycle. I was refused service because the customer service rep didn't “hear” anything. I finally had a local service Co check out the machine and was told the motor needs to be replaced and if under warranty I should demand it be replaced. I called again and still cannot get NSI to come out and see the problem.

The Kenmore brand is usually a good product, little to no issues with it until we had it for about 7 years. Then, it wouldn't ring out like it was supposed to. A part went out on the dryer that needed replacing. We couldn't find anyone to come out and replace it so my husband and I had to replace the part by ourselves.

I purchased an LG front load washer and dryer from Best Buy. I have been using the product since 2006. I have to say that these are the worst products I have ever purchased! All of my clothes smell like someone vomited on me! Every ** time I put on a colored shirt, especially cotton--if I sweat a bit, I began to smell like everyone around me took a ** and all threw them at me at once! It is ridiculous that such an expensive product ($2,400.00) for the set would be so **! I will never buy LG products again.I have had customer service out on three occasions. All of them tell me that lame ** about cleaning the gasket between loads. ** that! I paid quadruple the money for this so-called new, state-of-the art technology so I wouldn't have to clean gaskets! I never had to clean the ** gaskets on my piece of ** top load set that I purchased from a thrift store prior to buying this! Now, I regret giving my old washer and dryer away to Goodwill. Well, I am out of warranty now and I have to endure funky ** clothes. I am limited to whites, non-cotton, and clothes that I can dry clean. LG, ** you and kiss my **!

We bought an LG stackable washer and dryer. It was delivered today. The electric dryer doesn’t come with an electrical cord to plug into the wall so you can actually use it. No one told us that-you actually have to pay extra for the cord! I can’t believe it. If you pay $160 for installation, they include the cord but otherwise—nnnnooooooo. What will they come up with next to get their hand in your pocket? And this set is expensive to start with. Be forewarned.

In 2007 we purchased a French Door LG refrigerator model #LFD22860ST. Since our purchase we have experienced a number of issues (1st the model's efficiency rating is only valid when the ice maker is turned off; 2nd the freezer compartment developed rust on the metal baskets after the first year; but most recently the white plastic water line attached to the appliance developed a pinhole leak which resulted in destroyed ceiling tiles in our basement recreation room). An LG qualified repairman was called immediately but his service resulted in further leaks causing additional damage to our basement ceiling just 3 days after the initial fix. So next a qualified plumber was called. The problem was solved, but that solution lasted only 2 months when the fix to the original problem appeared again resulting in further damage to the basement. We feel the quality and reliability of this appliance is seriously in question and would like LG to supply us with a replacement refrigerator from another manufacturer of our choosing at a cost equal to the price of our original LG plus money spent to repair damages to our basement resulting from their inferior product. At this point, I would not accept a replacement LG refrigerator. Lastly, it saddens us to abandon this LG product line as we have experienced very good success with other LG products. Currently we own both an LG washing machine and an LG clothes dryer. We certainly hope they do not follow the same path as this particular appliance.

I purchased a brand new MHWE450WW01 Washer and MGDE500VW2 Dryer in February. The dryer takes forever to dry something; seriously, 3 hours for jeans! The washer sounded more like a jet engine taking off. I called Brothers Main, they sent a service person who identified right away that it was a known problem and he had over 6 repairs already, but be prepared to wait up to 3 months for the replacement parts. This is ridiculous. The service center, you can never get through to them and when you do, they don't seem to care. I had a 10-year old washer that made less noise than this brand new one that I spent $1800 for.

My Kenmore washer and dryer have been great. They're about 18 years old and electronic controls and I haven't had a lick of trouble with them. I grew up with Maytag and they were every dependable but also every costly. So go with Kenmore and get the dependability you want without the higher cost.

I bought a Kenmore washer and dryer because they were on sale a few years ago. In spite of the discount price, both have performed very well. My washer is quiet and reliable, completely and thoroughly cleansing even large loads in under an hour. The dryer has been less than perfect. After the first year, I had to replace the heating element -- a not terribly complicated or expensive repair -- but has not had a problem since. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my Kenmore appliances.

We purchased our Maytag washer and dryer 5 years ago... THE ABSOLUTE WORSE PURCHASE... on average 3 repairs a year after the first 6 months!!! Now the dryer is down. It takes minimum 2 trips out from a repair company to fix even minor issues. We are going to Sears today to replace both units. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE AND DO NOT PURCHASE A MAYTAG! Yard Sales next step for our... cheap.
